- 0:00Speaker 1: At your early morning praise party. Happy New Years Eve,
- 0:05Speaker 1: I'm your girl, Sherry Mackie, and it's time right now
- 0:08Speaker 1: for today's word. A year in review, still standing, still singing,
- 0:17Speaker 1: as we take a moment to look back over this
- 0:19Speaker 1: past year. One powerful truth rises above everything else. God
- 0:25Speaker 1: carried us. Some of us started this year with vision boards,
- 0:29Speaker 1: ridding goals, and bold prayers. We believe God for increase.
- 0:33Speaker 1: We believe God for healing, we believe God for restoration.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Others stepped into this year quietly, already weary, already asking
- 0:41Speaker 1: God just for the strength to keep going. And as
- 0:44Speaker 1: the months unfolded, we discovered that this year held a
- 0:48Speaker 1: little bit of everything. There were moments of joy, birthday celebrated,
- 0:53Speaker 1: doors open, dreams that finally took shape. There were testimonies
- 0:58Speaker 1: that made us shout Thank you Jesus. But there were
- 1:01Speaker 1: also moments of loss, moments of disappointment, moments of unexpected change,
- 1:06Speaker 1: times when prayers felt unanswered, when silence felt louder than
- 1:11Speaker 1: the praise, when faith had to stand on nothing but
- 1:14Speaker 1: God's promises. This year reminded us that faith doesn't mean
- 1:19Speaker 1: we won't face storms. It means we believe God even
- 1:22Speaker 1: while the wind is blowing and the waves are rising.
- 1:25Speaker 1: It taught us that strength doesn't always look like having
- 1:29Speaker 1: it all together. Sometimes strength looks like getting up one
- 1:33Speaker 1: more day and trusting God one more time. We learn
- 1:36Speaker 1: to praise God in new ways, not just when the
- 1:38Speaker 1: breakthrough came, but in the middle of the process, not
- 1:42Speaker 1: just for what he did, but for who he is.
- 1:46Speaker 1: We learn that peace doesn't come from perfect circumstances, but
- 1:50Speaker 1: from resting in the presence of a perfect savior. Even
- 1:54Speaker 1: when things don't go as plan, God is still working.
- 1:58Speaker 1: We realize he was protecting and preparing us. He was
- 2:02Speaker 1: closing doors that would have harmed us, an opening past
- 2:06Speaker 1: we didn't even know to ask for. Looking back now
- 2:10Speaker 1: we can see that what felt like delay was often
- 2:14Speaker 1: divine direction. So here we are still standing, still believing,
- 2:21Speaker 1: still praising, still singing sounds of hope in the face
- 2:25Speaker 1: of uncertainty. Every breath we take his proof that God
- 2:29Speaker 1: was faithful. Every lesson learn is evidence that He was
- 2:32Speaker 1: shaping us for what's next. As we step into a
- 2:35Speaker 1: new year, we may not know everything it will bring,
- 2:39Speaker 1: but what we do know is that God, who goes
- 2:42Speaker 1: before us, will step into this new year with us.
- 2:46Speaker 1: The same God who kept us through this year will
- 2:49Speaker 1: cover us in the next. The same God who made
- 2:51Speaker 1: a way and the past will make away again. So
- 2:54Speaker 1: today we pause and give thanks. Thank you Lord for
- 2:57Speaker 1: every victory, every lesson. Thank you Lord for great sustained us.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Thank you Lord for mercy that followed us and loved
- 3:03Speaker 1: that never let us go. As we enter this new
- 3:06Speaker 1: year with gratitude in our hearts, praise on our lips,
- 3:09Speaker 1: and hope rising in our souls, because if God carried
- 3:12Speaker 1: us through this year, we can trust him with whatever
- 3:14Speaker 1: comes next. God, we trust you. We hot are you
- 3:17Speaker 1: and Jesus' name. Hey, now that's your word for today
- 3:21Speaker 1: as we step into a brand new year. In Jesus' name,
- 3:25Speaker 1: it's early morning praise party. I am Sherry Nacky.
