- 0:47have just reached level 7. OK Oh oh, you have to put the
- 1:11video up right MBR. Yeah, I think so because I I
- 1:19have everything through like a mixer.
- 1:23Why am I having trouble with this?
- 1:27The hell. Larry's normally like messaging
- 1:39me. Now are we going?
- 1:40Live, but for some reason that's.
- 1:50Why is Facebook not working? It says Facebook's not working
- 1:55but it is. Working.
- 1:56That. And they can hear.
- 2:00They can hear us. Did we crash Facebook?
- 2:06I don't think so. We're we're, we're, we're on
- 2:09there. Don't worry about it.
- 2:11But we're like live so everybody can hear us.
- 2:15So ladies and gentlemen, welcome.
- 2:17Welcome to Warrior Wednesday. There we go and I can hear you.
- 2:28Did we crash Facebook, dude? There we go, and I can hear you.
- 2:31We didn't crash. Where'd you go?
- 2:33Did we crash Facebook dude? Oh.
- 2:40There we go. Hey Johnny, I see that you
- 2:45requested. Unfortunately on these lives I
- 2:47only let vets in the boxes. I'm going to.
- 2:56I'm going to show your pictures. Here we go.
- 2:58MBR what? Happened.
- 3:03Why is face Loki? Move, Move for a minute.
- 3:17What the Hell's going on here? Request, Larry.
- 3:24How you doing, Johnny? Thank you.
- 3:47Larry, you're private. I can't bring you up, dude.
- 3:49You got a request? Hey Spicy, how are you?
- 4:11I'm good. Hey Brady,
- 4:57see if MBR can come in this time, hey?
- 5:14Hey, did we crash Facebook? No, we didn't crash Facebook.
- 5:18Well, it's not. Do you see the screen that I'm
- 5:21looking at? Yeah, don't worry about that
- 5:24because I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm looking at us.
- 5:26We're we're, we're alive and everyone loving us and spices
- 5:32there and it's good times. Cool, cool.
- 5:40Oh, no. Oh, it's just red on the screen.
- 5:42On the computer screen. I didn't want to end it from
- 5:46there, you know what I mean? Oh no, you're good.
- 5:49You're good, like I said. I couldn't hear any of that tick
- 5:53finity stuff dude. You still can't.
- 5:58It's going off. Oh well, maybe I'll be able to
- 6:01hear it now that you're in here. I don't have it on my end.
- 6:06Well, I've also got the laptop turned all the way down too.
- 6:09And muted. Oh, that might be why.
- 6:12Very well could be. I I would think that you would
- 6:15hear it on your. I don't think that you would
- 6:19hear it on your cell phone. I don't know what, what do I
- 6:24know? I could be wrong for all I know,
- 6:30but let's go back to that. I got too many screens up and
- 6:45now I don't hear you guys. Oh,
- 7:04Sergeant Ham, I can't hear you guys because you're muted.
- 7:09OK. All right, so while we wait for,
- 7:21I don't know, maybe he's on a phone call
- 7:36that's live and then, Oh yeah, I guess I don't really.
- 7:46That Larry Shaffer. I'm sorry, all in pain.
- 8:22I can hear everyone. I I can't hear anybody.
- 8:32Oh, why, Sergeant Ham, are you still there?
- 8:59All right. What I do wrong?
- 9:03OK, screenshot ham of the young lady I was talking about.
- 9:19OK. She's probably in the Facebook
- 9:25live chat because she does not have TikTok.
- 9:28Well, if she comments, I should be able to see it on right here
- 9:33that I'm looking at because so just so so it won't let me, it
- 9:42won't let me flip my camera. Really.
- 9:45That's odd. Oh, there we go.
- 9:48So it's just so everybody's aware like this is how I look
- 9:51like here's where like all the chat for Facebook and everything
- 9:54else comes in, right. And this is the station side.
- 9:59Wait. Talk to Facebook too.
- 10:02Yes, but your name isn't attached to it.
- 10:13OK. Your name's not on there.
- 10:17I'm not worried about my name, but whatever, it's whatever.
- 10:25I didn't think about that. She don't have warrants out for
- 10:28her arrest or anything, does she?
- 10:30No, he can kiss my fucking white Irish ass for a like here.
- 10:34Thank you for the heartbeat. I don't like that they changed
- 10:37it to fan club instead of because it used to be.
- 10:44What the fuck was it? I was just talking about it
- 10:45earlier. Not a problem bro.
- 10:49Anyways, they changed like the heart needs to fan club and it's
- 10:51weird. Yeah, well, they give you also
- 10:57when you go in there in that there's another thing that they
- 11:02just come out with. I sent you a link to it that you
- 11:06can get reward points and stuff and then you can use those
- 11:12reward points for stuff out of TikTok shop or you can bring
- 11:15them over I guess and and use them for your gifter coins.
- 11:22All right, Yeah, Brian, you're allowed in the boxes.
- 11:26Only veterans on Warrior Wednesdays are allowed in the
- 11:29boxes. Sweet.
- 11:31Dude. But you, you did hear what I
- 11:33told her about. Told you about what?
- 11:36That what her name is, right? No.
- 11:40OK, I'm not going to put her government name out, but she
- 11:43goes by shoot dog tag diva. I got you.
- 11:53OK. If I see it pop up, I'll let you
- 11:55know. But I'm going to tell you now, I
- 11:58think Facebook, Facebook's not working.
- 12:00So it kind of crashed out on us. Oh geez.
- 12:05Yeah, well, last week it was Roku crashed.
- 12:08So that gum ham, what are you doing, dude?
- 12:14Big. Shit.
- 12:19But we're. Doing big things over here, but.
- 12:22Yeah, right. But about the concrete, the
- 12:26reason why I had to put so much down is I had to have A at least
- 12:30a three inch slab. 8 foot. Long and four foot wide.
- 12:37Next Wednesday they will be here about 1:00 to fix my well, they
- 12:46are going to put a osmosis system up under our kitchen
- 12:50sink. Yeah.
- 12:52For purified water and then out of the well, they're going to do
- 12:57a you're welcome double filter tank and salt bucket to soften
- 13:06our water to get all the iron and calcium and stuff like that
- 13:09out of out of the well water. And hopefully after that, the
- 13:14wife is not going to have to worry about kidney stones
- 13:18anymore. I got you OK.
- 13:28I might be making a trip to Georgia.
- 13:32Actually Larry, one of the, I don't know off the top of my
- 13:38head, but one of the puppies that we that Lisa just had is
- 13:43going to a veteran in Georgia that I may take the trip out
- 13:46there and take the puppy out for her.
- 13:48Because I. Transport.
- 13:49I transport puppies sometimes. Nice.
- 13:54Well. They're only a week old right
- 13:56now though, so. Well, if you're down in my neck
- 13:59of the woods, just holler at me. If you're not more than an hour
- 14:02away, I can meet you up there. All right, definitely.
- 14:07Where you at, Larry? What's that, Brian?
- 14:10What? Part of the board, are you at?
- 14:12You know where Lake Seminole is. Not offhand.
- 14:18Like it sounds like a Florida line.
- 14:21Yeah, it's in the southwest corner of Georgia.
- 14:26Yeah, near Fort. Benning, I I'm actually, I'm
- 14:29actually about probably about 5 miles from Lexano.
- 14:34Your department, right? Now OK.
- 14:38I hope you don't have a. Bokeet that can.
- 14:40They can paint Loki. Damn it, dude.
- 14:43Yeah, my mom owns a house. Mom and dad owns a house down in
- 14:47Greenville which is near Noonan and LaGrange area.
- 14:54Yeah, I know. I I know.
- 15:00I actually, I know Key Lithonia, you know where that's.
- 15:07You know, if I'm on camera, he's got to be here.
- 15:12No. Brian, I it's, it is West of
- 15:19Atlanta, probably about want to say about 45 miles, 50 miles,
- 15:26something like that. Gotcha.
- 15:31I dated a girl back when I was in high school that lived up
- 15:36there and her daddy was a full bird Colonel.
- 15:42Go lay down. OK?
- 15:47I'll just continue to pet you and love you.
- 15:53Hey she's she's had a rough day with me today.
- 15:57I bet she has. She's she's out.
- 16:00She's unconscious. I bet she has.
- 16:03Oh, so Larry, you saw that right?
- 16:05That I posted on Facebook about my oh, you my kid.
- 16:08I'm so fucking proud of him, dude.
- 16:11Man, so am I. I'm extremely proud of him.
- 16:18He did something I could have never done.
- 16:20I skipped school and did too much stupid.
- 16:24That part, I didn't see him. I was too more I was too worried
- 16:28about like skating and surfing when I went to high school in.
- 16:31Florida. Like what part of Florida did
- 16:34you? I was down by Fort Myers.
- 16:36OK, I. Ended up we moved from North
- 16:39Carolina. That's where I North Carolina's
- 16:42home. That's where I raised at and
- 16:44everything else. But when I went to high school,
- 16:48my mom ended up getting a house. My grandmother gave her a house
- 16:52down by Fort Myers and I ended up going to high school down
- 16:55there. Gotcha, I lived in Crystal River
- 16:59going to high school. OK.
- 17:01I went to Charlotte high school. OK oh, Crystal River is a good
- 17:05place to go swimming too. Dude our stupid our our mascot
- 17:09was a fucking Tarpon with boxing gloves.
- 17:12Yep. Fighting tarpons was my high
- 17:15school mascot. I'd I'd rather have had that
- 17:19than our mascot. Our mascot was a freaking syrup
- 17:23pitcher. Hey.
- 17:26When I when I lived up in Massachusetts, my dad was in the
- 17:29military so we traveled a lot and our our high school mascot
- 17:33was a canal man. Because.
- 17:35Our high school was right on the canal.
- 17:37I mean, I was. Yeah.
- 17:43Thanks for the follow. Mine's a Laker so oh I live in
- 17:47Minnesota and obviously 10,000 lakes.
- 17:52Why don't you hop up in a box? I'd like to know more about you
- 17:56Sir. Veteran owned cigar company.
- 18:00Oh hell yeah. Yeah, we're getting a box.
- 18:02Open the box. So.
- 18:04So where in North Carolina did you grow up?
- 18:07All over Winston Salem, Danbury, I've been all the way out.
- 18:10As far as Eden and Fayetteville, I've been everywhere.
- 18:20Yes, I do. Always.
- 18:21Good. I live.
- 18:23I live just outside of Fort Bragg.
- 18:26Oh, do you OK? Yeah, I've been so.
- 18:30And 12 years before. Bragg.
- 18:33I was born in Cleveland, but five days later I was down in
- 18:37North Carolina, so that's home. My favorite place in the world
- 18:41is at Hanging Rock State Park, the lower Cascades.
- 18:43Well, how? Can.
- 18:45We not say it. Silent Hero Cigar.
- 18:55This is an every Wednesday live for veterans only.

- 19:04in anytime you want, and it's from 8:00 to 10:00 central.
- 19:09Excellent brother, silent cigar. I took and sent you a follow
- 19:15dude me, he's going to have to get together about the some
- 19:18cigars. You see that comment, Brady?
- 19:32You've heard of me? That could be a good thing from.
- 19:40Stars or I? Don't know why you got to be
- 19:42putting my shit out there, mother.
- 19:44Jesus, he's. Laughing in the studio at me
- 19:47right now. I don't know what you're talking
- 19:54about. I plead to fit something.
- 19:59Our job is to make. Sure, I'm surprised Emo didn't
- 20:04come in. I sent it out to her.
- 20:07I can send one to her too. Yeah, if you want to.
- 20:13He's probably either in the freezer or in the shower.
- 20:19Her. Well, she didn't.
- 20:20Emo didn't come in last week either though.
- 20:24Yes, she did. For like 5 minutes and then she
- 20:27left. She was she was live earlier
- 20:34today. But I've been dude, this week is
- 20:38it's all running around for the kiddo.
- 20:40You know what I mean? Like tomorrow he doesn't have to
- 20:43be at school till noon, but he gets out at 2:30 and then Friday
- 20:49he's got to be. So there is a parade where they
- 20:54parade the kid, the the seniors around and it's in your parents
- 20:59cars and they drive you through town.
- 21:03Love it. Yeah, the Friday's going to be
- 21:07jam packed and then he's got to be at school at six and
- 21:11graduation is at 7. SFTM going my.
- 21:14Oldest has to be at 4:00, at 5:30 in the morning they're
- 21:20going on some trip that's 3 1/2 hours away and now it's a three
- 21:28day trip. But my son did not want to.
- 21:30His special needs did not want to participate the the overnight
- 21:34thing. So his special needs worker is
- 21:38actually driving him up there just for the day and bringing
- 21:41him back. That's.
- 21:44That's awesome though. They doing that?
- 21:46Yeah. He wanted to go so bad, but he's
- 21:48not ready for. Overnights like that?
- 21:52Yeah, now I get that. But he's so fucking excited.
- 21:56The boys were like that too, for the longest time, like they did
- 22:00not want to do, like people come over and spend the night, but
- 22:03they weren't trying to go spend the night at anybody's house.
- 22:05Yeah. Yeah, my kids only spend the
- 22:08night at my my parents house. You know Grandma, Grandpa.
- 22:12Yeah. And they're great aunt and
- 22:16uncle, which are basically grandparents on the other side.
- 22:18And that's it. Shit, all my kids are grown.
- 22:25Oh. My. 10.
- 22:29Mine are grown, my youngest is about to turn 18 and he's
- 22:33graduating. But yeah, I got 12 grandkids, so
- 22:36oh. Shit.
- 22:39Yeah. Hey, Brian.
- 22:41That hasn't had any kids yet. Brian, let, let, let, let me
- 22:46count this up. Now hang on.
- 22:49Three by that daughter, 2 by that daughter, 4 by that
- 22:54daughter. One by the.
- 22:58Sun damn, I'm at 10. Yeah, but Larry, you're old. 3
- 23:05record trains. Damn.
- 23:11Hey, hey, Brian. He wrong dude.
- 23:15Say again. I said he ain't wrong.
- 23:18I'm 54 years old. I'm not too far behind you.
- 23:23I'll be 49 this summer. Larry's got 10 years on me.
- 23:30But we're raising two of our grandkids.
- 23:32Wait, Brian, you're 49 and you got 12 grandkids?
- 23:36Yes. You're the same age as my
- 23:39parents. Hey.
- 23:44Hey, Brian, let me, let me flip you out.
- 23:49I got a Dick that I went to school with.
- 23:51He's two years younger than I am, and he married a lady with
- 24:00kids. I think she had four.
- 24:03And last time I saw him and his wife and spoke to them, I asked
- 24:10them how the how their couple of grandbabies were doing that they
- 24:14had and they said couple. Oh yeah, that's right.
- 24:18It's been it's been 9 years since you've seen us.
- 24:21They have 19 grandkids. Holy, I feel for him.
- 24:32Hey, I asked them. I'm like, did y'all not teach
- 24:37the kids about the aspirin? And they're like, well, we
- 24:44tried. I said, well, what are they
- 24:46doing? Spitting them out like shooter
- 24:50marbles, I mean. Our first grandson, my oldest
- 24:58grandson, he's 7. He'll be 8 November and he lives
- 25:02with us. But he was born in 2017 and
- 25:07we've had a grandbaby born from 2017 all the way up until this
- 25:11year. It's a mouse and Christmas.
- 25:17It kills me. Oh, I bet it does.
- 25:21I mean, when we have to have like our two grandkids that live
- 25:27with us, they have, you know, Santa Claus and then and then
- 25:32they open their stuff from Santa Claus and then our kids come in
- 25:36the house with their kids and then we have another Christmas.
- 25:44It's just like, you guys are killing me.
- 25:46No more kids. How many kids do you have?
- 25:52We have 5. We lost one three years ago.
- 25:55I'm sorry to hear that. He was taken from us by his best
- 26:00friend. My son, my other son, my
- 26:05daughter and my son's wife all witnessed it.
- 26:09Oh. No.
- 26:11Yeah, it was. It wasn't a pretty sight.
- 26:14We got that phone call about 11:00 on a Friday night saying
- 26:19that he was shot and, and we figured out who shot him and,
- 26:26and I already knew where he got where he got shot at and, and
- 26:31who's who did it. I, I know he wasn't surviving.
- 26:35And so I had to, you know, we got there to the scene and, you
- 26:40know, the police came over and talked to me and his dad
- 26:45because, you know, my wife was divorced and she had two kids
- 26:49and I had three from another marriage.
- 26:52But he came over and told us and, you know, we talked about
- 26:56it. And I was like, I told the
- 26:57police officer, I was like, you know, I'll, I'll inform his mom
- 27:03and, and of course that, you know, she lost it.
- 27:07And then we had to go to the police.
- 27:09I can't imagine. It was, it was rough.
- 27:15He left, you know, 3 kids behind and then five months later, the
- 27:22mom of his oldest and youngest passed away.
- 27:28Oh man. From that lethal stuff that's
- 27:31going on in the streets. Yeah, enough said on that one.
- 27:37So we got that phone call on a Sunday morning and we went and
- 27:43picked up my grandkids and we've had them since and we adopted
- 27:47them. That's amazing on you though,
- 27:51for like, you know? Yeah.
- 27:53Yeah, it is. Yeah, Grandma and Grandpa, you
- 27:56know. Raising kids all over again.
- 27:58It's like, you know, how did I do this when I was in the 20s?
- 28:04Because they got us running and it's like, all right, 8:30, you
- 28:07guys are going to bed. So are we.
- 28:10Yeah. That part.
- 28:14My oldest. Is 10.
- 28:15I wouldn't change it for the world.
- 28:18Oh, I bet yes. So you had one born when your
- 28:24grandbaby was born in 2017? Yeah, we had one born in 2017.
- 28:31My daughter was born in 2017 too.
- 28:33She's my youngest and she'll be 8 in July.
- 28:36Wow. Yeah, my, my oldest grandson,
- 28:40he'll be 8 November and then he goes all the way from the 8 is
- 28:44the well, he's 7, but he's the oldest and our youngest.
- 28:50That practice veteran, why don't you seem to be here in your
- 28:52name? Within the next few days.
- 28:56Oh nice. Really.
- 29:08Taxes feed your kids, come and being.
- 29:10Asked. Huh.
- 29:15Sorry, sorry, you go. No, like I the hate and shit
- 29:20like that and just the being a Dick coming in, that's not cool.
- 29:24Yeah, why don't have veteran your name?
- 29:26Like why do you give a shit? I have OTSD from the military.
- 29:30Forgive my comments. You know, it's getting, it's a
- 29:39lot more. A lot of us have PTSD from the
- 29:44military, but we don't come in and start acting like that in
- 29:47comments. Exactly.
- 29:54And the bratty part of my name has nothing to do with the
- 29:57military, so. Welcome back, silent cigar.
- 30:07Well, yeah, bad part. But anyways.
- 30:12But the aborted. Any who.
- 30:15Took my son's life, You know the way it happened is nice looking.
- 30:19Food for the men in the military.
- 30:20So he was a friend of the family and I bought tickets for
- 30:23Carolina Hurricanes. Game I've ready.
- 30:27And one of my sons couldn't go because he had his girl.
- 30:30All right, you're gone. Hold on.
- 30:32You're gone bro. No, wait, let me say something.
- 30:34Before I go ahead, take. His ass.
- 30:36Out. Hey, Nelly, you're ready.
- 30:39Whatever the fuck your name is, my taxes.
- 30:41Feed your kids ass 2025. You can kiss my fucking white
- 30:44Irish ass for all I care. I was not a cook in the
- 30:48military, by the way, so. At Braddy Veteran, I said thank
- 30:55you all. Right.
- 30:57Let's just let's you know, yeah, I'm not going to.
- 31:02I'm not going to deal with that. And I said fuck you, I'm.
- 31:06Not going to deal with that. All right.
- 31:10Sorry, Brian, please. No, you're fine.
- 31:13The hate comments and stuff like that.
- 31:14I don't we're not going to deal with that and all the drama.
- 31:21We spread love and positivity in this life.
- 31:23You. Serve that part.
- 31:29Hey, Nelly. So let Brian finish.
- 31:33I want to. I want to hear Ryan's story.
- 31:35So I'm. Sorry.
- 31:37You know, I bought him tickets and my son, one of my other
- 31:40sons, couldn't go because his girlfriend was pregnant in the
- 31:43hospital. And so we asked that boy he
- 31:47wanted to go because, you know, like I said, he was a friend of
- 31:50the family. He used to date my daughter.
- 31:54My daughter broke it off a couple months prior.
- 31:56And so he went up and they know they're all having a good time.
- 32:00And on the way back, he was acting like a fool.
- 32:02My daughter was driving because she was the only one that wasn't
- 32:05drinking because she was underage and that dude was
- 32:09hanging out the window acting like a fool, dropped his phone,
- 32:12couldn't find it, have an attitude about it.
- 32:15So they pulled off off the Interstate or the highway and
- 32:22one thing you know they he was my daughter was end up getting
- 32:27out of the truck and walked to the stop sign and that boy was
- 32:30trying to go after him. My son told him, say hey, you
- 32:33know, that's my sister, leave her alone, I'll take care of
- 32:35her. And he had his little Pew Pew in
- 32:41the truck and he took it out when he got out of the truck and
- 32:47it was in his hands and he was probably maybe 5 feet when he
- 32:53when he pulled it. And he got my son right in the
- 32:56head and my, my other son, my other son caught him.
- 33:03And he, he didn't know it hit him until, you know, he hadn't
- 33:07end up catching him because he thought it went by him.
- 33:11And I mean it, it, it all could have turned ugly.
- 33:14He could have took, you know, could have took all of them out.
- 33:18But thankful he did it. He, he dropped it and went to
- 33:23try to give him CPR. And that's another thing that
- 33:30helped him in his we didn't go to trial.
- 33:34He ended up getting a plea deal, which me and my wife did not
- 33:38agree on. He got five to seven years.
- 33:43Yep, he he was, he was charged with murder and the DA in Wake
- 33:53County said it would have been kind of hard to try to convince
- 33:58the jury if we went to trial murder one or murder 2 because
- 34:06of him trying to give him CPR, photos, body Cam and a bunch of
- 34:14BS. That's all that was.
- 34:15I'm so sorry. To us they.
- 34:18Didn't want to do their job. That's honestly, I'm going to be
- 34:22honest, that's what it sounds like to me, like they didn't
- 34:24want to do their job and. Yep.
- 34:26I am sorry that the system failed you like that.
- 34:29Yeah, so you never you you think our system is Immaculate,
- 34:33perfect, whatever until you deal with it.
- 34:36Once you deal with it and realize it's our our justice
- 34:41system sucks. And I told that to the.
- 34:42Judge WE. Got We got to talk to the judge
- 34:45and, you know, and to whoever was there.
- 34:50And I told the judge flat out, it's like, you know, I hate to
- 34:54say it, but our justice system sucks.
- 34:57And he looked at me and he gave me a head shake.
- 34:59So he already knows our justice system sucks.
- 35:03But yeah, like I said, he got five to seven.
- 35:07He already had time served. He's due to get out January 7th
- 35:13of 27. That's all they gave him.
- 35:17Yeah, that's insane. And the bad thing is he only
- 35:20lives about 1010 to 15 minutes from all of us.
- 35:24I you know, we know where he lives and they know where, see,
- 35:28we moved in from the time it happened.
- 35:30So he doesn't know where we live.
- 35:31But you know, of course we all know where he lives.
- 35:35What state are you in, Brian? North Carolina.
- 35:39Let me look do some. When did this happen?
- 35:43January 7th of 22. Let me I used to want to be a
- 35:48lawyer. I got a lot of family that has
- 35:52done some fucked up shit and. I mean we we want to do a.
- 35:58An appeal. A wrongful death?
- 36:00Yes. Wrongful death last scene.
- 36:03Yeah. I mean, I mean, I mean, we were
- 36:05kind of, I mean, I'm not trying to sound stupid about it, but we
- 36:10were kind of glad we didn't go to trial.
- 36:12Nice. Safe.
- 36:13Yeah, because you can't definitely not say that word on
- 36:15life. What?
- 36:18The R word. So I said, nice save.
- 36:26Oh, what up, King? But it's because we didn't want
- 36:30to put our kids back through it. Oh, that's understandable.
- 36:33That's understandable. How are you, Ruby?
- 36:35My daughter was admitted to UNC, she was there and she got
- 36:40transferred to another place up up north in in North Carolina
- 36:46for about 10 days, two weeks. Is that good bro?
- 36:48Oh. I'm sure she.
- 36:51Is she attempted and then my, my other son, he I got to talk to
- 36:58him the other day and he, he normally keeps it.
- 37:02He hides it, he keeps it in he's trying to be the, you know, the,
- 37:07the one that helps out everybody.
- 37:11He holds in his anger. And we finally got to talk the
- 37:16other day because he came over him and his dad got an argument
- 37:20about a couple things about this whole situation.
- 37:24And, you know, he looked at me. He's like, you know, you want me
- 37:27to be honest with you? I was like, yeah.
- 37:28And he's like, you know, I told my dad that, you know, my long
- 37:33barrel, it's in my closet. He's like, I look at it every
- 37:36morning I get up and he's like every morning I look at it, it's
- 37:40like another another day closer to seeing his brother again.
- 37:44And at first, when I heard it, let him say that it, it kind of
- 37:49worried me of his, you know, his well-being.
- 37:52Yeah, and that's understandable completely.
- 37:55But then, then I got to thinking about it.
- 37:58I mean, if in all reality, we are, are closer every time,
- 38:02every day we wake up, we're one day closer of seeing loved ones
- 38:08and whoever you want to see. So I was like, OK, I, I, I can
- 38:13get it that, you know, that way. But you know, he he refuses to
- 38:19see any therapist or psychiatrist because he said the
- 38:23more he talks about it is the more he hurts and I'm.
- 38:28Going to tell you now, I, I did, I, I can kind of understand
- 38:32where he's coming from with that, because I didn't talk
- 38:34about stuff from Iraq for a long time after I got home.
- 38:38A long time, yeah. Because I mean, they, they, you
- 38:43know, they were 19 and 21 at the time and, you know, they saw
- 38:48more in a matter of time there than a lot of people have.
- 38:54Yeah. But I mean, me and my wife
- 38:59we're. I don't know how, Larry, hold
- 39:01on. I'm fixing that.
- 39:02We're, we're the type of ones that and the more we talk about
- 39:05it, the better we feel. So that's why I like to talk
- 39:09about it, because it makes. Larry, you've got mod status.
- 39:12You're full mod. No, I think the best thing is to
- 39:16to talk about it, and I really wish your son would.
- 39:20Retail you just got. To find the right therapist you
- 39:23know, find the right person who vibes with him and.
- 39:27I know what are you trying to do, lark?
- 39:29So the bad thing is I'm getting a therapist and the therapist
- 39:33would basically. You should be able to.
- 39:36Telling my daughter she was she was the reason why.
- 39:38That happened when. I click, it brings up to follow
- 39:44or send her a message in chat. I don't.
- 39:48That's weird dude, but no because I I just looked at yours
- 39:52right and I can send you a screenshot of it you had when I
- 39:55go to manage moderator access. You have everything, dude.
- 40:00All right, let me let me drop out and come back in.
- 40:04I can remove you as a mod and then reset it.
- 40:06You want me to try that first? Yeah, do that.
- 40:11All right, let me remove it and then hold on.
- 40:13Let me go back in. And now I'm going to add it all
- 40:16back, manage guests and more. Confirm.
- 40:25Brian, hold tight. I'm here.
- 40:28Yeah, sorry. I'm trying to figure a bunch of
- 40:32crap out, but no, April, I just want you to know, I know this.
- 40:40You know, this is what these lives are all about.
- 40:44People coming in and being able to tell their stories and things
- 40:47like that. You know what I mean?
- 40:48Yes. Sir.
- 40:50And I found that through myself do it helps a lot immensely.
- 40:57So sorry to cut and please continue.
- 41:01But like I was saying, you know, my daughter was seeing the
- 41:03therapist and she stopped seeing the therapist because the
- 41:07therapist basically blaming her for that.
- 41:12Oh. Yeah.
- 41:14That's not OK. No.
- 41:17That is not OK at all. And is she?
- 41:24Did she find someone new? Yeah, I think she sees another
- 41:29therapist. See my wife works at a hospital
- 41:32so she sees a therapist at the hospital and I see the ones in
- 41:35the VA. Right.
- 41:41Because I mean, I was seeing it before this happened.
- 41:43Because with all my issues. So I wanted school to be a
- 41:49therapist, just to let you know. Say again.
- 41:57She's going to school to be a therapist, is what she said.
- 41:59Got you. Yeah, my my son's cousin's
- 42:05girlfriend is going doing the same thing.
- 42:09I mean, so I I hardcore believe in therapy and and.
- 42:27Because they've seen more. I mean, yeah, we, we weren't
- 42:30there. We didn't see it.
- 42:32And you know, we still suffer. But they they suffer the worst
- 42:35of it. And try.
- 42:37I mean. CPT for your daughter and your
- 42:42son could be a huge So I went through some really big trauma
- 42:47that I won't get into, but mine is domestic violence related and
- 42:53he helped me a lot. Oh that's awesome Gunner, that
- 42:58you're working on your VSO certification.
- 43:05The last VSOI had he was like probably 70 and didn't know the
- 43:10first thing about computers or the Internet or how to file
- 43:13claims. Oh that was fun ish.
- 43:17My 100% and want to help. Others with the.
- 43:21Same. Yeah, hopefully Friday because I
- 43:23have my meeting with a higher level.
- 43:28Gunner, you can come in a box. Higher level appeal for my
- 43:33mental health and then I get get when I need to get to 100 and
- 43:41I'm right there. Out so I was at 90 forever and
- 43:46I'm going to be now it it took me.
- 43:49In listening. Like I, I had to get a lawyer
- 43:51involved and once I got the lawyer involved, he had my 100%
- 43:56within seven months. I have veterans guardian.
- 44:00OK. Which is based at it.
- 44:02I mean, it's worldwide, but it's based here in Pinehurst, which
- 44:06is only like 15 minutes from me. Larry, when you comment in the
- 44:10chat it shows the mod status right next to your name.
- 44:23I don't know why your stuff's not working.
- 44:26That I don't know, it's probably my stupid phone.
- 44:29It's about time to replace it. That could that very well could
- 44:32be. Well, I mean, it's not really a
- 44:37phone, it's a tablet that you just like, bang a hammer and
- 44:41chisel into, ain't it? Sleep.
- 44:54So I don't know if you realized there's there's no Gray anymore.
- 45:01So I went cutting the stuff to get the Gray out of my beard.
- 45:06Got done doing that and it turned my inside.
- 45:10I have earned every Gray hair in my beard and I ain't getting rid
- 45:15of them well. Plus I was told not to head.
- 45:19Is called the side of my head and I told to wife right after I
- 45:21said you got to shave the side of my head.
- 45:23It is full of Gray now at. Least you got hair.
- 45:31Not much more than. I got rapid rehydration.
- 45:38My my, my little rat tail does come all the way before you.
- 45:42Look man, look man, I got it. I can't.
- 45:48I can't help if you take and shave your head.
- 45:52I ain't got no hair there to shave.
- 45:54Well, that shit grows in thick like all around here.
- 45:59But the top is super. It's just I use the Clippers and
- 46:06but but I will but I will say this right it says.
- 46:22I got I got no Gray hair, but. I got plenty.
- 46:34Actually let me unplug this maybe.
- 46:36That'll work better too. But if I do, I have to switch
- 46:40all this because won't nobody be able to hear me?
- 46:53Hey, you see what Gunner said in the chat?
- 46:56That he finally got his 100%. Yeah.
- 47:01I'm going to tell you, the US veterans that have fought and
- 47:08fought and fought and finally got our 100%, all the knowledge
- 47:14and stuff that we've got in our head of what you have to do to
- 47:18be able to get your 100%, and it's absolutely stupid.
- 47:25Yeah, I agree. I mean.
- 47:28I, I, I, I'll give a prime example.
- 47:31So when I come home from Iraq in O 6, they had some folks from
- 47:39the VA up at our unit the following month.
- 47:43Has reached. Level 2.
- 47:45And the woman that come up there, she pulled me into the
- 47:51office. Yeah.
- 47:54And I had my readiness in CEO in there too.
- 47:59And she said she's like, look, I've been paying attention to
- 48:03you all day. And it's not just you.
- 48:07I've got three more that I'm going to talk to, but if y'all
- 48:11aren't at the VA in the morning filing y'all's paperwork for
- 48:14your disability says I'm going to personally drive to your
- 48:19houses, pick you up and take you to Gainesville and put you in
- 48:23the hospital. Oh shit.
- 48:28And I told her I'd do it. I went down to the VA that
- 48:32following Monday and filed my paperwork and she had part of it
- 48:38already ready when I got there but we filed our my paperwork
- 48:41and stuff and they sent me down for ACMP and she told me she
- 48:47said you should get 100% with what you had to deal with and
- 48:50everything. They give me 40.
- 48:56Damn. And I started fighting with them
- 49:03after that and it took all the way to from OO7 to 2014 to get
- 49:15my full disability. Ed am I?
- 50:23Venereal disease. Oh, OK, OK.
- 50:26Like the? Taking up what you're putting.
- 50:29Down. I was trying not to get heated.
- 50:33Yeah. But yeah, they were getting 50
- 50:40to 100% for that. And here I here I, I had to
- 50:45fight like a freaking dog. Dude, so we were, we were headed
- 50:52for this. Can you?
- 50:54Can you repeat what years this were?
- 50:582008, 2009. Oh my God.
- 51:02OK, oh, so we. Or.
- 51:07Do what, Brady? For deployments.
- 51:12Yeah, because all right. Oh, God.
- 51:19OK. All right.
- 51:21We sent 5 females home from our deployment pregnant.
- 51:25That part there was Ashley 2 that got sent home from 10th
- 51:40Mountain because their commander caught wind of some shady stuff
- 51:52going on. So they did an inspection of the
- 51:56rooms and stuff, got at camp. I had her.
- 51:59We even got down there and two of the two of the girls actually
- 52:06had a duffel bag half full of cash.
- 52:11Jesus Christ. Yeah, we.
- 52:20Deployed in O8, we had to do like our first, you know,
- 52:24formation at the Armory, right? And one of my soldiers, I'm not
- 52:28going to say his name, but come up to me and goes, Sergeant Ham,
- 52:34I need to go to the ER. I'm like, dude, we're just now
- 52:38forming up to get ready to deploy and all that.
- 52:41I'm like, why he goes? I hooked up with a burner last
- 52:46night. Oh, so hold on, Larry, hold on.
- 52:51It gets better. So I can't make the call.
- 52:55I appreciate that I got tea all over my floor.
- 52:58Thanks. You're welcome.
- 53:00So anyways. Right, we know now that you
- 53:02spit. Right.
- 53:05So anyways, I, as AE5 team leader, cannot send him to the
- 53:10ER. So I had to go to the squad
- 53:12leader, who sent me to the platoon Sergeant, who sent me to
- 53:16the top, and it made it all the way up to the battalion Sergeant
- 53:21major. He went to the ER with a battle
- 53:26buddy. He came back about 6 hours later
- 53:29after the penicillin shot and we're in formation and
- 53:32everybody. Just oh geez.
- 53:39Oh. Fuck.
- 53:43Dude, they they send him all over the place like good times.
- 53:52He was trying to get his last bit in.
- 53:54Clearly. I well, I I'm going to say this
- 54:00about that. At least he got a shot.
- 54:04I mean. Because because innate the shot
- 54:08that got. One back.
- 54:14Because in in in 89 cotton swab with a stick.
- 54:23Thank you. Ready.
- 54:26Thank you. I wouldn't, dude.
- 54:32I wouldn't know. Don't ever want to know.
- 54:36I'll pass. That was when I was.
- 54:41Hearing. You.
- 54:46Thank you, Granny. Of course.
- 54:49At Bratton. You have just reached.
- 54:51The how much coins I got here at.
- 54:54Cowboy. Thank you ma'am 19. 70 me
- 54:56brother. What's going on, gun lover?
- 55:17Oh oh. Cowboy, how you been?
- 55:22That's about the $5000 question right now.
- 55:26Poultry. At 1970.
- 55:28How are you? If you got $5000, I'll answer
- 55:31it. No, this is this week has been a
- 55:40hell of a month. This week has been a hell of a
- 55:44month, yeah. Look at.
- 55:48That. Kill you Monday.
- 55:52My wife called me because and she was frantic.
- 55:56Whenever she called me, I was at work.
- 56:00That's. Always serious, our big guilding
- 56:05tried to kill one of our mayors. Oh no.
- 56:12And she witnessed the whole damn thing.
- 56:15She's, she's asleep right now. Thank, thank the good Lord
- 56:21himself right there. But you can't solve your
- 56:30problems by throwing antibiotics out.
- 56:33It was. Pretty traumatic for her.
- 56:35Pretty traumatic for the damn horse too.
- 56:37But and then yesterday I was, I was in the emergency room.
- 56:53Got some bruised ribs and well, that, that's, that's the fucked
- 57:01up thing about it. I don't know.
- 57:05It's been hurting. They've been hurting for over a
- 57:07month. And I thought it was just, you
- 57:11know, from working out and shit like that.
- 57:15Then past couple weeks it started hurting pretty much
- 57:17constantly. And right now I'm I'm on Tylenol
- 57:25three with codeine plus ibuprofen and it's not fucking
- 57:29doing much for it. Unfortunately, there's not a
- 57:31whole lot you can do for ribs. I'm just hoping, I was just
- 57:35hoping it would kind of take a take care of the pain a little
- 57:39bit. It's not hard.
- 57:42Yeah, well, it's taking the taking the edge of the edge off.
- 57:48Makes the seafy. Not I wish.
- 57:51I'd travel with Patriot 19. I'm enjoying my day off from
- 57:55babysitting adult children. Yeah, I can't imagine trying to
- 57:59sleep like that. Yeah, what a buzzy.
- 58:02Whoever did it comes on the. Couch babysitting adult
- 58:09children. Yeah.
- 58:10I know, I know how to babysit them fuckers.
- 58:13Never mind. Oh fuck.
- 58:20What up? What's up, boss?
- 58:22They're going to help Larry with that 800 lbs of concrete he
- 58:25poured. I agree bud.
- 58:28No, we're not. You're muted.
- 58:35Who muted him? Larry, did you do that?
- 58:38Well. You said 800 lbs of concrete.
- 58:44I said well that's about 20 lbs lighter than my ex wives.
- 58:54Wow. I've always said what, you know,
- 58:57what's the difference between a cow and I had 525 lbs, you know,
- 59:06and this is no joke. Whenever we, we've been married
- 59:09for a couple years and we decided we was going to go
- 59:13dancing, sent the kids to my mom and dad's and shit.
- 59:17And well, she bought, she decided she was going to go get
- 59:21some new new clothes for this. Hell yeah.
- 59:25And she was trying to in. 19. 70 Did she ask her husband that?
- 59:30Which is me of course. I would bring you up but it's
- 59:33only veterans in the boxes, bub. And she asked that fable
- 59:38question. She said, honey, does these do
- 59:41these jeans make my ass look big?
- 59:44I said, no baby, those jeans don't make your ass look big.
- 59:48It's your ass. It makes your ass look big and I
- 59:54wonder why she's an ex-wife. I mean, that would probably
- 59:59help, yeah. I'd say there's reasons for
- 1:00:06that, no? Gun lover, I did not know you as
- 1:00:11a corrections officer, so now I know why you're babysitting
- 1:00:14adults. Oh, that.
- 1:00:17Makes sense? That makes a lot of sense.
- 1:00:20I I still got a good way to do that, but yeah, I can't say it
- 1:00:23on this fucking app, all right? What?
- 1:00:25What? Type of Corrections officer?
- 1:00:27Are you jail? Prison.
- 1:00:29What level? Level 5.
- 1:00:45OK I'm in Minnesota, we only have 1-2 and three.
- 1:00:48So level 5 is worse the worse. I I would say level 5 is don't
- 1:00:55fuck with them. The maximum minimum medium.
- 1:01:05Maximum. That that's probably reaction
- 1:01:08force. Maximum, wouldn't you?
- 1:01:16Maximum OK. Not me.
- 1:01:19We called those people. Not me.
- 1:01:22I wouldn't know nothing about none of that.
- 1:01:24Me neither. I sadly know too much.
- 1:01:34Yeah, what's that called those people?
- 1:01:36OK. Chilling, we just bought this
- 1:01:40house and I'm trying to figure out how I want to do my garage.
- 1:01:42So, you know, living the dream. I got my helm over there that my
- 1:01:49wife won't let me put up anywhere in the garage or the
- 1:01:52house. Oh my God.
- 1:01:55Immediately. Hell yeah.
- 1:02:00I try. I'm gonna get it up.
- 1:02:01I'm gonna get it up in the house.
- 1:02:04Does she have a theme going? Is that why?
- 1:02:08We ain't got anything. It doesn't.
- 1:02:09It doesn't go along with the theme.
- 1:02:11We sold like, no, not nothing. So like I like MASH.
- 1:02:15That's one of my favorite shows in the world.
- 1:02:16And I'm trying to get a picture, a big old thing of Hawkeye.
- 1:02:19Like I just want like a good black and white photo.
- 1:02:21Hawkeye. And she like immediately red
- 1:02:24flags that one. Like, why can't I have, you
- 1:02:27know, Benjamin Pierce on my wall?
- 1:02:29Nope. Do you have a man cave?
- 1:02:34Yes, this little nook that I'm sitting in with the.
- 1:02:38Refrigerator that. That we stole from the apartment
- 1:02:41that we came from. Been there, done that.
- 1:02:47So it was a really crappy apartment.
- 1:02:48We just bought this house. It was a really crappy
- 1:02:50apartment. Like cars were on blocks all the
- 1:02:53time. Like it was really bad.
- 1:02:55And they got bought out. And so I went down there because
- 1:02:59we didn't have a fridge yet. And we basically sold everything
- 1:03:02so we could, like, get into this place, right?
- 1:03:04Because my wife was like, well, she saw it.
- 1:03:05She's like, I want it, I want it now.
- 1:03:08So we got rid of everything 'cause she wanted to redo
- 1:03:10everything, right? And so we didn't have a
- 1:03:11refrigerator. And so I walked down to the
- 1:03:13leasing office and I was like, hey, can I get a copy?
- 1:03:16You know, we're getting out. And I was like, can I get a copy
- 1:03:18of the make ready report when y'all came through the apartment
- 1:03:20before we got there and she's like, yeah, no problem.
- 1:03:23So she went to my file and pulled it up and there were like
- 1:03:253 pieces of paper in there. And she goes, I don't think we
- 1:03:30have it. And she goes, I, I think the old
- 1:03:32manager might have got lost. She goes, is there something
- 1:03:34else like, and I was like, no ma'am, thank you.
- 1:03:37Took this refrigerator right down the stairs and loaded that
- 1:03:39motherfacker in. EU Haul like they.
- 1:03:41Didn't know that. Before I they didn't know I was
- 1:03:44there before I moved in, they didn't know it was there when I
- 1:03:46got out. Like, you know, I used to be a
- 1:03:49manager of an apartment building and I've I've allowed some of
- 1:03:53those things to happen too. I'm like, well, we didn't write
- 1:03:56it down or like the maintenance dude didn't write it down.
- 1:03:59So like you take what you what's not on the fucking paper so.
- 1:04:04Braddy, check this out. They they're so I was in A2
- 1:04:09story right, so there's like somebody that was like across
- 1:04:11from me and then somebody that was underneath me and then
- 1:04:13somebody that was across and underneath me right cowboy out.
- 1:04:16The people underneath me moved out and the people upstairs and
- 1:04:19across moved out. The lady that was downstairs and
- 1:04:21across across from me was like a hotel that not the the apartment
- 1:04:26like security guard, but she didn't do nothing, not a Dang
- 1:04:31thing. She like I barely, barely sold
- 1:04:33her outside of her apartment, but her kids would because like,
- 1:04:36I am an herbal cigarette user and I sat on my front porch and
- 1:04:43would like German Shepherd the entire neighborhood because
- 1:04:46like, I was just man, gunshots is bad.
- 1:04:50Yeah, my wife, my wife calls me the worst German Shepherd.
- 1:04:53Like even in my new name. Like I got a whole garage now
- 1:04:55with the street and I still stand in the street.
- 1:04:57Like who fucks driving down fast, you know, like my wife is
- 1:05:02like Casey, get inside. Like I'm like, not yet.
- 1:05:05Like this is only week 3. You know what, though?
- 1:05:09I was like that, too when I moved into this place.
- 1:05:11Like, I'm checking everything out, like, out on the porch
- 1:05:13constantly because I'm like, I didn't know where I'm at, Who's
- 1:05:17around me. Yeah.
- 1:05:19So they had somebody squatters moving across and underneath me
- 1:05:23and underneath was like starting fires in the bathroom floor.
- 1:05:28And so I went, yeah, bro. So like, I went called the cops.
- 1:05:34Cops show up. They didn't even arrest them.
- 1:05:36They were just like, OK, your trespass.
- 1:05:38You can come back tomorrow if we catch you again.
- 1:05:43Fucking people, dude, It was bad.
- 1:05:45I was so mad. I was like screaming and I
- 1:05:47couldn't say too much right 'cause I had a giant, like
- 1:05:50herbal cigarette in my hand, you know, like and I was trying not
- 1:05:54to run my mouth 'cause they'd be like, you come down here.
- 1:05:56Nah, bro, I'm gonna sit down real quick.
- 1:05:58Let me finish this. Like they they.
- 1:06:00They just trust that. No, hell no man, I'm fuck.
- 1:06:05I'm so. Sorry.
- 1:06:06I'm in Texas. Oh no.
- 1:06:09No shit. OK, I.
- 1:06:14I have a better chance of winning the lottery and getting
- 1:06:16struck by lightning all wow like before it ever becomes.
- 1:06:21People can attack like. Yeah.
- 1:06:25So they got mad because the apartment people got mad and
- 1:06:29they called the police on me because when the police wouldn't
- 1:06:31do anything, I went in there with my own 45 water pistol and
- 1:06:37I made them leave and they called the cops on me and the
- 1:06:40cops got mad at me. Like the?
- 1:06:43Fuck you mean? Like we were just.
- 1:06:49Like you can't win at all. So here's the deal, my lawyer
- 1:06:53was saying that they only got trespassed and they didn't get
- 1:06:56arrested because we found out that maintenance was like
- 1:06:59unlocking doors and letting them know who like what were the
- 1:07:02vacant units. And so they would get away
- 1:07:06saying because when the cops would ask him and when they
- 1:07:08asked me, like I said that I forced the door open.
- 1:07:11And that sentence is what fucked me.
- 1:07:14No, you could not have said that.
- 1:07:17Yeah, that's like wrong words. You know my 100.
- 1:07:23Percent. No, my 100% is.
- 1:07:32I'll use that. So.
- 1:07:35Gunner one of the things I like my last mental health
- 1:07:39appointment for my 100%, I didn't realize that I was the
- 1:07:43shirt that I was wearing when I went in there and it's a cartoon
- 1:07:47toaster jumping into a bathtub and it says live laugh toaster
- 1:07:50bath and the therapist looks at me.
- 1:07:53She goes dark humor veteran. Got it.
- 1:08:00Yes, so like I walked into my CMP exam and she was like they
- 1:08:04were doing like whole general questions.
- 1:08:06She's like, do you ever think about, you know, whatever in
- 1:08:10yourself, you know, or harming yourself?
- 1:08:12And I was like, you don't who? Doesn't.
- 1:08:18Right I was. Like this is an everyday ordeal,
- 1:08:21lady. I'm just showing.
- 1:08:22You. Seem like you're pretty chipper
- 1:08:24right now. It's like, yeah, when I'm alone
- 1:08:26I'm not like. Yeah, that's true.
- 1:08:31I always say that you know the worst place you can ever be is
- 1:08:34stuck inside your own head with no way out.
- 1:08:38Yeah, buddy, I went through that.
- 1:08:41I went through these lives. Have helped.
- 1:08:43Me immensely in that situation. Quite honestly it.
- 1:08:49Or not. Scared the mermaid.
- 1:08:51Out of the Navy, then overturned, then turned around
- 1:08:56and got my 100%. You're right there, Ken.
- 1:09:02Dude, the truth scares normies. So my first duty station was
- 1:09:09used as a Kitty Hawk out of the acoustic Japan.
- 1:09:12That was like party boat love central.
- 1:09:15Oh yeah buddy, you held together by souls and duct tape.
- 1:09:18Go out that please, but like. You know how they say like your
- 1:09:26best command is always your last command?
- 1:09:27You know, like there's no man because everyone want to leave
- 1:09:33the Kitty Hawk because they were like so strict, like on liberty
- 1:09:36before we could leave the we, we, we called it the gauntlet.
- 1:09:40Like all the khakis would stand like in a line like sideways and
- 1:09:44they would like check your shirt tails or like if you had
- 1:09:47anything on your shirt walking into somewhere or your pants
- 1:09:50were rolled up or like whatever they could get you For any like
- 1:09:53civilian attire you would have like turn around go back, change
- 1:09:55your shirt and go back through the gauntlet again.
- 1:09:58So it would take like 2 hours just to get down the brown
- 1:10:00because you had like 400,000 chiefs like sending you back.
- 1:10:03Just to be. Assholes for zero reason.
- 1:10:08So I fucked up because I went to Fort Bliss for AIT and we got a
- 1:10:14weekend pass. Well, Joe decided that he was
- 1:10:18going to go get a tattoo that said lunatic down his spine and
- 1:10:23my dumb ass for a white T-shirt coming back and drill Sergeant
- 1:10:28saw it, saw the little blood speckles on the back of the
- 1:10:31T-shirt and pulled my shirt up. He had a different.
- 1:10:35Flutter kicks for about 3 hours. Oh, you like getting tattoos on
- 1:10:39past? I got this parrot, Singapore
- 1:10:45supposed an eagle and it's total flash.
- 1:10:48But yeah, I got that in Singapore.
- 1:10:52Hold on, there we go. That don't look bad though.
- 1:10:56It's not as big as I want I wanted it to be.
- 1:10:59And I'm it's like still black. You know how they like turn
- 1:11:01green over time? But I didn't get caught.
- 1:11:04One of our dudes got caught because he got an ankle tattoo
- 1:11:08and he was going around the shower like, bro, check it out.
- 1:11:10It's just gangster on it, you know?
- 1:11:12And we're like dumb fuck. And then so like they mustard
- 1:11:15everyone and they were walking around and like standing in
- 1:11:18front world, standing at attention.
- 1:11:19Did you get a tattoo on in Singapore?
- 1:11:21And people were like, no. And then they would like write
- 1:11:22your name down. Did you get a tattoo in
- 1:11:24Singapore? And so I was like third line
- 1:11:26back right at the end, right? And I was like, am I going to
- 1:11:29lie to chief or am I just going to accept it?
- 1:11:30And so the chief got. In front of.
- 1:11:32Me was like, did you get a tattoo in Singapore?
- 1:11:34And I was like, Yep, I did. But he only gave me, he only
- 1:11:38gave me like a counseling chip. But they sent that other dude to
- 1:11:41mask like, but they've been trying to get rid of him.
- 1:11:44So the ankle tattoo is just their camel, you know?
- 1:11:49When were you in the Navy? 2004 to 2, 2012.
- 1:11:55First duty station was USS Kitty and then from a torpedo man to a
- 1:12:02gunner's mate and then from a gunner's mate.
- 1:12:05I couldn't. Oh, that's I was.
- 1:12:07Doing this too. That was me.
- 1:12:09I was a torpedo man, 95 to O 7 and then when we got converted
- 1:12:13to gunner. 'S mate right?
- 1:12:15So like when I was trying to re enlist because like you, you're
- 1:12:23on a ship for like 3 years, right?
- 1:12:26And then you can go to a different command.
- 1:12:28But like I was almost, I was trying to get like my re
- 1:12:30enlistment paperwork going 'cause I only had like 9 months
- 1:12:33or so left, right? And then it was, I was trying
- 1:12:37to, we were trying to go to a different ship and I could not
- 1:12:40re enlist. You have to do what's called a
- 1:12:41perform to serve. You have to put a question in
- 1:12:44and like you get five chances and they can say, no, you cannot
- 1:12:49stay at gunner's mate. No, you cannot stay at gunner's
- 1:12:50mate. You get five chances, but I did
- 1:12:53it four times. And then they were like, do you
- 1:12:55want to redo your shit? And I was like, fuck yeah.
- 1:12:59And then my my. Hey, Betsy Ross.
- 1:13:04My division officer AO1 Nazario, still one of my best friends,
- 1:13:07was like, dude, let me do your ASVAB scores and see what you're
- 1:13:09all was before. Like come talk to me in the
- 1:13:10morning. So I went down there and he's
- 1:13:11like, cool deal, you're going to be an FC.
- 1:13:13Like what the fuck? You mean like an FCI don't want
- 1:13:16to work down a damage control? And he was like no bro like fire
- 1:13:18control, like the sea whiz. And I was like oh and I was
- 1:13:22supposed to get like an 80 grand re enlistment bonus but they
- 1:13:25ended up fucking me and saying that I was like what's that word
- 1:13:29where they need your rate so they like re enlist you for it
- 1:13:31anyway? What is that term stop?
- 1:13:35Loss. Not a stop loss.
- 1:13:38But a? Stop loss.
- 1:13:39That's kind of what it is. Like I was, that's, that's what
- 1:13:42they did to me my second tour because my enlistment was up in
- 1:13:49March of O8 and we deployed January of O8 and they're like,
- 1:13:55well, we need NC OS combat experience, so you have to go.
- 1:14:00When I was trying to re enlist as a gunner's mate it was like a
- 1:14:04.008 re enlistment. Like the whole perform to serve
- 1:14:10like there was just all these people had all these PTS points
- 1:14:15and like they still couldn't get advanced because there was just
- 1:14:17so many fucking Gunners mates. So when they sent me to a school
- 1:14:20right back to a school for like FC and I had to do the whole
- 1:14:24like electrical program all over again.
- 1:14:26They. They were like.
- 1:14:28They had new Gunners mate boot campers and I was pissed.
- 1:14:32I'm like why the fuck does this idiot get to be a gunner's mate?
- 1:14:35And I've been in and I can't stay up but like make him go
- 1:14:37home. Like make him become a fucking
- 1:14:38FC. Like it was dumb.
- 1:14:41I was mad on my second shift. That's where I was on the USS
- 1:14:47Gettysburg because I went to a school back in Great Lakes and
- 1:14:50then I went to C school in Virginia.
- 1:14:52That place is a shithole. I will never go back there
- 1:14:55again. What Virginia?
- 1:14:58No, so I was in. Yes, we lived in Chesapeake, but
- 1:15:02my base is called the Damn Neck Annex.
- 1:15:05Yep. Basically at Fort Lee.
- 1:15:08Yeah, what's it? It was off of Princess Anne.
- 1:15:10Like back there I did all my my ship commands in in Norfolk.
- 1:15:16Yeah, that was like 45 minutes away from the damn neck annex.
- 1:15:21Yeah, we used to go do our, our, our shoots at the damn neck
- 1:15:28right next to the seal seal compound.
- 1:15:30Yeah, dude, the Seals would have like PT challenges where they
- 1:15:34would like do obstacle courses on the beach and.
- 1:15:38People. Would get out there and try to
- 1:15:40smoke these Seals and they would just be like done.
- 1:15:43Sprinted it 15 times and like smoking all these like little
- 1:15:46fat radar nerds trying to like go to this hospital course
- 1:15:51because that's what they sent me to the C school for.
- 1:15:53Like. What?
- 1:15:57What years were you at Norfolk? I was in Norfolk from ship from
- 1:16:0299 to 2004 and then 2007, 2009. Did.
- 1:16:13Did you ever did? You ever move?
- 1:16:20A Corbin there by the name of Carrie or Collis.
- 1:16:29Name doesn't sound familiar. She was it for a long freaking
- 1:16:39time and then she got sent to Kuwait.
- 1:16:49Gun or anything gun with all the damn crickets or like whatever
- 1:16:53the fuck that. Is.
- 1:16:58Hey, my nephew is on the Carl Vincent.
- 1:17:05Yeah. The crickets are bad for me
- 1:17:07because I have earbuds in. Gotta you gotta mute yourself.
- 1:17:13I was just like, where the fuck is that coming from?
- 1:17:17I have an earbud in too, so like the crickets are just like.
- 1:17:20I can't hang out in my backyard right now because there's a tree
- 1:17:23like immediately off of my back porch and there's a Mama bird
- 1:17:27that has a nest in there. She's pissed off at me, right?
- 1:17:30Like she is angry at me because you can pull the branch down and
- 1:17:33see and see all the little she's got 4 little chicks inside.
- 1:17:37And so I pulled that branch down one time and like man, she like
- 1:17:40so I have a 19 month old son and now she like hovers over my son
- 1:17:43when we go on the backyard. Like listen fucked with my
- 1:17:46branch, I will die about my. I'm going to get you in your
- 1:17:48tree. Right, like, but she'll like
- 1:17:53manage her feathers are like puff up because you know how you
- 1:17:56got the Electro lines and then you have like the main wire that
- 1:17:59goes from the Electro lines down to your house and feeds your
- 1:18:02house. You know, that runs like almost
- 1:18:06like symmetrically centered down my backyard and she will perch
- 1:18:10on that. And when my son goes on either
- 1:18:11side of the yard, she'll flip around, she'll go either up or
- 1:18:15down and she will like, and I'm like, I'm not fucking with your
- 1:18:17nest. Like leave my son alone.
- 1:18:19Damn. He doesn't do shit, you know,
- 1:18:20like. She's like you fucking my
- 1:18:23babies. I'm gonna fuck with your babies.
- 1:18:24Yeah, so like now I'm just kind of waiting for her to like get
- 1:18:28them chicks out so she's not so violent in my backyard and then.
- 1:18:32'Cause we just moved. In here on the 11th, right so.
- 1:18:38And you're already out there pissing her off and fucking with
- 1:18:40her own they. Have snakes in my yard and I'm
- 1:18:44afraid of them so also I'm parking on the street instead of
- 1:18:48in my driveway because I'm afraid of the snakes.
- 1:18:51Use the mothballs. That's what I said.
- 1:18:53Mothballs. I ordered.
- 1:18:55Some. Oh, did you order some finally?
- 1:18:58Yeah, anyone? Live.
- 1:19:01There so I'm still parking on the street though.
- 1:19:04Crickets. Snakes in here last week.
- 1:19:07And she's like, hold on, I have to go.
- 1:19:09The cops are here, Yeah. I remember that.
- 1:19:12Yeah, cops are like, bitch, why are you parked over here and not
- 1:19:16in your own driveway? And I'm like, I'm afraid of the
- 1:19:19snakes. And they're like bullshit.
- 1:19:22I'm like, no, for real. I'm afraid of the snakes.
- 1:19:26And that's why I'm parking in front of my house and just right
- 1:19:30in the street, not in my driveway.
- 1:19:33My brother, my brother had a a diamondback in his backyard and
- 1:19:39he has chickens and everything and his wife screaming or
- 1:19:42screaming for him and he was in the front.
- 1:19:44So he came to running, and then he had to call his neighbor, his
- 1:19:49neighbor friend across the street to bring every Arsenal
- 1:19:52weapon he had chase the. Eggs with the.
- 1:19:55Zero 'cause he can't. My brother Jimmy and so I.
- 1:19:59Live in Minnesota and. Where I live in Minnesota, we
- 1:20:03just have gardener snakes. They're not going to hurt me.
- 1:20:06I know they won't, but I have a weird fucking phobia of them and
- 1:20:09they freak me out and I just, I can't, I can't handle it.
- 1:20:15And so, you know, and I live right in the middle of town, so
- 1:20:19I, I, I can't shoot anything, you know, because I thought
- 1:20:22about that. But I do have the BB gun now and
- 1:20:28I'm an excellent shot and I've shot couple of them and they did
- 1:20:34but there's so many. OK, so I just moved into my
- 1:20:39house too, in in January and I am living with my grandmother,
- 1:20:46with my three kids help take care of her.
- 1:20:49And I'm taking over the house and I I'm like, grandma, is this
- 1:20:55a normal thing that the snakes are just out here on the like
- 1:20:59outside the deck? And she's like, well, yeah,
- 1:21:03honey, they're harmless. I'm like, I don't give a mother.
- 1:21:09I went out one day and I was just like, no saw them.
- 1:21:13I was going down the stairs off the deck and I'm like Nope,
- 1:21:16done. Yeah I I saw a picture where
- 1:21:17there's like 6 small racks. Yeah, they were fucking ball got
- 1:21:20together and I was like, Nope, done.
- 1:21:25And she got me a chicken every day.
- 1:21:27Every day. Brian, were you in here?
- 1:21:31Were you in here last week when I told Sarge about what my
- 1:21:37grandson done and what happened at my house?
- 1:21:41I think so. That's.
- 1:21:42Too funny. Dude that was insane.
- 1:21:44Too funny. I just thought, oh man.
- 1:21:50So Gunner, so my youngest grandson, he's like. 2.
- 1:21:58And they were all sitting having a snack at the table.
- 1:22:02You OK? Oh yeah, I remember that.
- 1:22:04The sudden my service dog takes him yips and I go to blame the
- 1:22:08kids for it and I get up to walk in there and I look and there's
- 1:22:15a freaking 5 foot white oak snake laid up by 6:00 AM water
- 1:22:21bowl. Hi.
- 1:22:23Loki. So I got all the kids away.
- 1:22:26From it. He said hi.
- 1:22:29Oh, say. Hi, my grandson.
- 1:22:32I saw it. What do you mean you saw it, He
- 1:22:37says Door, according to No, I said you watched that snake
- 1:22:41crawl up on the door into the dining room and didn't say
- 1:22:43nothing, he said. But it pretty.
- 1:22:45I would have lost. My mother fucking shit and I
- 1:22:49would have burned. It pretty.
- 1:22:54That's what we're worried about. Our granddaughter out here.
- 1:22:58They they in the neighborhood they saw several 4 foot
- 1:23:03copperheads running around. Where are you at again, Brian?
- 1:23:09North Carolina, just outside Fort Bragg.
- 1:23:11I was. I was so.
- 1:23:13OK, Yeah. I was out at my mom's last year
- 1:23:17with the boys and that's right outside.
- 1:23:20Continue talking. About snakes.
- 1:23:22That's outside of Little Rock. Well, well, my, my boys came up
- 1:23:27to me. I was at my mom's, My brother
- 1:23:29lives right behind my mom. And they're like, dad, dad come
- 1:23:31here and look what we caught. And they got one of my my
- 1:23:34brother's in a wheelchair. So they got one of his grabbers,
- 1:23:37right? And it's a fucking baby cotton
- 1:23:39copperhead about the. Hell.
- 1:23:43I'm like, I don't need to be playing with that.
- 1:23:45Man, so I live near the Brazos river, right?
- 1:23:48And right when summer first starts, it starts getting real
- 1:23:51hot. They'll hang down like
- 1:23:54copperheads, They'll hang down from tree branches.
- 1:23:57And if you. If you like.
- 1:24:00'Cause you can like enter to this show like that and go down
- 1:24:02the river or if you got like, I'm coming right and go down the
- 1:24:04river. My sleeping legs came into a
- 1:24:07poof snake from. The last.
- 1:24:09Like you said, fit fit. No, since we're since we're on
- 1:24:17the subject of snakes. No, no.
- 1:24:24Sarge. Sarge knows about this.
- 1:24:27It was last year during the summer.
- 1:24:33Here's my dog's OK. In my ear.
- 1:24:38Go to the bathroom while I put their food down and I hear my
- 1:24:45service dog Yelp and I'm like what the hey And he comes in the
- 1:24:52house limping and stuff and he's got a spot on his little small
- 1:24:56blood spot on his foot. So I pull up the camera frozen
- 1:25:01air and watch him as as he's walking.
- 1:25:05You can't get in my lap, dude. And he walked next to the
- 1:25:08carport where normally I walk off the carport at.
- 1:25:13He walked in that area and he wound.
- 1:25:16Up getting a bit. By.
- 1:25:17Mouth. I almost lost him.
- 1:25:24I don't do snakes. I can't do snakes.
- 1:25:26Snakes are, I don't give a fuck if they're nice.
- 1:25:28They're they're not nice. They're poisonous.
- 1:25:31They're not poisonous. They can all die.
- 1:25:37Well I can go ahead and tell you now I I'm a dumbass when it
- 1:25:41comes to snakes. We had a a teacher that kept a
- 1:25:47couple in her science class and I decided, well, she likes
- 1:25:54snakes. I'll just keep my eye out.
- 1:25:59Well, I was raising quail at the time and I go out there to feed.
- 1:26:06My quail are gone. Like what the heck?
- 1:26:10And I look in the back of the cage and there's a snake called
- 1:26:14up back there with three birds in his belly.
- 1:26:20We caught a sandpiper in Kuwait. Can dude.
- 1:26:24I put it in a 5 gallon bucket and cut some holes on the top
- 1:26:29and the next morning I get on the school bus with this 5
- 1:26:35gallon bucket with a snake in it.
- 1:26:37When I get to class I'm like hey teach.
- 1:26:40Where? Where's?
- 1:26:41The snake that I brought you this morning, she says you need
- 1:26:43to go to the office. I'm like oh what I do and come
- 1:26:49to find out I actually carried a 3 1/2 foot water moccasin on the
- 1:26:56school bus to school that. Oh no.
- 1:26:59Dude what a big red one. So I can do spiders, OK?
- 1:27:08I love spiders. And I can do bats.
- 1:27:11I love bats. I have one tattooed on my
- 1:27:13motherfucking chest OK but the house that I live in now has a
- 1:27:20chimney and has frequent bats who like to come in in the
- 1:27:25summer and I have now my grand. The house I live in, I live.
- 1:27:32My grandma, like I said before, she's lived in the South since
- 1:27:35before I was born and as a kid she has told me that I have and
- 1:27:43I will never forget the first time I did it.
- 1:27:46I picked up a full bat in my hands barehanded and brought it
- 1:27:51outside and I knew that was my first.
- 1:27:54That's a bat. And I can do bats, I can always
- 1:27:59do bats, I can always do spiders, but snakes I will.
- 1:28:04I left my newborn daughter and her when I was living not here.
- 1:28:16We had a really long driveway. My ex and my my daughter was
- 1:28:20like 3 or 4 months old and they had her in a in a stroller.
- 1:28:25And I went down the driveway to go to go get the fucking mail.
- 1:28:31And right when I pulled the mailbox open, I'm looking at the
- 1:28:35mail and I looked down and I see there's a ball of fucking
- 1:28:38snakes. I immediately throw the fucking
- 1:28:41mail in the air. Now mind you my ex sometimes
- 1:28:45outside with our boys and he could hear me from the driveway
- 1:28:49going. And clowns.
- 1:28:51Oh my God. And I just run up the fucking
- 1:28:54driveway, left the stroller there with my daughter in it and
- 1:29:01I'm like, please go get some babies.
- 1:29:03Please don't get the baby. I can't.
- 1:29:05They're snakes. And he goes, you left our three
- 1:29:10month old or 4 month old, whatever she was at the time.
- 1:29:13He goes, you left her down there.
- 1:29:14I'm like please go get her idea. Larry, I sent her a video,
- 1:29:21right? No like.
- 1:29:22Fucking a back toe. Lifted.
- 1:29:24Up probably like a 15 or 18 foot Python And she just.
- 1:29:29The only message I got was. I said I hate you.
- 1:29:36You know, you were talking about bats.
- 1:29:40Maybe remember somebody, Sarge? Do you remember Bat from
- 1:29:49disgruntled vets? Yeah, yeah.
- 1:29:52You know how many? How many?
- 1:29:53Times I've been. Called her, I'm not her, but you
- 1:29:56know how many times I've been called her?
- 1:29:59Bat tits 2 point O. Yep.
- 1:30:02You know she's on TikTok right? She's not on Facebook.
- 1:30:05I would. Love to follow her, I'm not
- 1:30:07going to lie. I'll I'll send you one of her
- 1:30:10videos, but she actually had it covered up.
- 1:30:15Why? Because nobody would leave her
- 1:30:20alone about it. So now she's got a crow across
- 1:30:22her chest. Yeah, I got called her because I
- 1:30:27was in dysfunctional veterans for a very long time too.
- 1:30:31And. I've still got AT shirt
- 1:30:33somewhere that says leave me alone.
- 1:30:34I have many and I have many sweatshirts and I posted one
- 1:30:39time in that fucking group going asking for advice on something.
- 1:30:43I can't remember what it was. And they're like is she is she
- 1:30:48is she bat tits 2 point O And I'm like bro, no, I'm not.
- 1:30:54I'm not bat tits. She had a Batman tattoo.
- 1:30:58I have an actual bat well and mine isn't cover up.
- 1:31:05She does not look the same anymore.
- 1:31:08She her her arms are the size of Sarge's arms.
- 1:31:12She's went to weightlifting and stuff.
- 1:31:15Yeah. She was into that back in the
- 1:31:17day though. I know exactly who you're
- 1:31:19talking about. That's fine.
- 1:31:25But yeah, there were so many people on.
- 1:31:28Who was that, Sarge? Oh, Michael was.
- 1:31:31Going so much. Tell him I said hi.
- 1:31:36He just finally took him left. There when he comes back up the
- 1:31:39stairs. I used to have a pet.
- 1:31:47Snake, I'm going to mute myself just because I don't want to put
- 1:31:49your name out on it when I tell him.
- 1:31:53I already put it out there, remember?
- 1:31:56A long time ago. All right.
- 1:32:01Yeah, I had a pet snake and we were living in Navy housing.
- 1:32:05Of course, you weren't supposed to have them there.
- 1:32:08Hell. No, but I woke up 1 morning,
- 1:32:12come downstairs, my 3 come here. Say it again.
- 1:32:15Come here. With a snake.
- 1:32:18You can come, come. Over.
- 1:32:21Here I had to. Tell them hi.
- 1:32:23Michael. Hi, Michael, I'll.
- 1:32:25Be back. What's up, man?
- 1:32:28This is that one. I'm super proud of that.
- 1:32:33Congratulations dude. Thanks.
- 1:32:38That's pretty awesome. That's cool.
- 1:32:44Hello. OK, Gunner.
- 1:32:48Super proud of that dude. Hello, Vikings.
- 1:32:55Yeah. Can, dude, I'm pretty proud of
- 1:32:56that. Can dude, you can come in a box.
- 1:32:58Show me wild. What's up, Viking?
- 1:33:02What's on these lives? I only let vets in the boxes.
- 1:33:18I'm like feeling like the call of getting.
- 1:33:22Ready for bed? I can.
- 1:33:25Dude thanks though. I need I seriously need some ink
- 1:33:31therapy. Seriously need it but can't
- 1:33:34afford it. Two years.
- 1:33:38Army 16. I'm going to cover this the, you
- 1:33:42know, 1997, so I'm going to cover that and get the whole top
- 1:33:49of it. Finished I need ink bad.
- 1:33:52I told myself I would. Never you come in too.
- 1:33:55Never get a tattoo overseas. My last my next to last
- 1:33:59deployment. I end up getting two in a matter
- 1:34:02of a week. Dude, so my mom got like she
- 1:34:07was, I'd like to say mad at me, but I got some the week that I
- 1:34:12turned 18. I came home with like a tattoo
- 1:34:16every day that week. Oh.
- 1:34:19Jeez. Hey Brian, what's up?
- 1:34:30Where'd you get that done at? I got it done in Tallahassee,
- 1:34:34FL. A Cuban guy was working at a
- 1:34:39tattoo shop down there that I like to go to and I told him
- 1:34:45what I was looking for. And it's actually a cover up
- 1:34:48from a tat that I got while I was in Germany.
- 1:34:51And he says, all right, so he measured everything out and he
- 1:34:58drew it out and called me and said, hey, come look at this and
- 1:35:02see if I if it'll work for you. And I went and told him, yeah,
- 1:35:07that'll work for me. What's the cost going to be?
- 1:35:10And he told me 350. So I said, well keep that for
- 1:35:18right now and I will come up here as I get the money and pay
- 1:35:24you ahead of time and get it paid for first before I get it.
- 1:35:28Done all right. That sounds good.
- 1:35:33So I managed to get it paid for and then when I got up there, he
- 1:35:38says I didn't like how that looked.
- 1:35:40So I, I did a little modification to it and that the
- 1:35:44tattoo I've got is the modification.
- 1:35:47And when he got, when I got there to get it done, I'm like,
- 1:35:53dude, that's a lot of work for 350 bucks.
- 1:35:56He said, well, you've already paid for it.
- 1:35:59I'm the one that changed it. So don't worry about it.
- 1:36:02Just don't tell anybody that that I let you have it for that.
- 1:36:06But he said that if I'd have paid full price for it, it would
- 1:36:10have been around 800 and 5900 dollars.
- 1:36:13Oh yes my hand in New York New York prices like 600 bucks for
- 1:36:20my hand. New York prices are ridiculous
- 1:36:22for tattoos This on my wrist right?
- 1:36:25If I can hold on, let me see if I can this one on my wrist. 350
- 1:36:33dude for all of the fill in right here in Missouri, all the
- 1:36:37fill in that I got plus this. Skull.
- 1:36:40Here, all of that was 350. Damn.
- 1:36:45Well, I need to come to Missouri.
- 1:36:47Dude this one here was like 250. Japan right there.
- 1:36:58I've always wanted to get like a tattoo, not necessarily a
- 1:37:02Japanese traditional, but I've wanted to get a tattoo done in
- 1:37:05like the traditional style, like the bamboo.
- 1:37:09And all that. But I want to add like a skull
- 1:37:12or something in that style. Well, I, I, I went to Pinky's
- 1:37:18originally there in Japan and was looking and I saw that one
- 1:37:24of the samurai and was softly cutting out of the skin.
- 1:37:28So I'm like, you know, that sounds like a good idea.
- 1:37:32The Tattoo Expo was coming to Saint Louis in June, and I'm
- 1:37:36probably going to go to that. I need to go home again, I'm
- 1:37:41from Sikeston. So.
- 1:37:43You're from Sikeston? Yeah.
- 1:37:45Living Cape, dude. No shit really.
- 1:37:48That's that's where my great grandmother lived for.
- 1:37:51Years. Yeah, I'm right.
- 1:37:53I'm in Cape Girardeau. What quarter mile from the
- 1:37:56Mississippi? Yeah, I remember going across
- 1:38:01the river right there into Illinois all the time.
- 1:38:03Yep, I got a buddy of mine that lives up there.
- 1:38:06He's in Murfreesboro. Yep, my great grandmother had a
- 1:38:11a nice house there years ago. But yeah, we used to go up
- 1:38:18there, we go over the other one and stuff like that.
- 1:38:21Yeah, I miss Cape. Yeah, Cape's nice.
- 1:38:26It's better than where I was at because I was all the way down
- 1:38:28in East Prairie for a while and there's fucking nothing out
- 1:38:31there. Dyson's where I had to go to
- 1:38:34Walmart and grocery shopping and stuff.
- 1:38:36You. Got to drive 45 minutes to find
- 1:38:39some place to go. Yep, that part.
- 1:38:44Hey Sarge, my mod stuff's showing back up now.
- 1:38:52You got to put in time out. Darren, we don't want.
- 1:38:56TikTok dude, TikTok hates me. Well, don't feel like the lone
- 1:39:03stranger about writing something I make.
- 1:39:07I get called this violates our our, our community guidelines
- 1:39:13and I'm like, seriously? Dude, I've been hit more.
- 1:39:18For hate. Speech and bullying because the
- 1:39:22algorithm doesn't understand how veterans talk to each other.
- 1:39:25Right. Like it's all in love.
- 1:39:28It really is. I mean, most of the time I talk
- 1:39:33to the my buddies I served with, typically the words out of my
- 1:39:37mouth are how's your wife and my kids and, and yeah, and they're
- 1:39:44like. Jody Huh?
- 1:39:45The Vikings and. Jody over there got to have.
- 1:39:49Jody After 7 deployments, I was far from Jody.
- 1:39:54I saw a decal like that, you know those the ones that got
- 1:39:56like the husband, wife and kid, like stick figures or whatever,
- 1:39:59right, But had the husband, wife and kids and had Jodi pointing.
- 1:40:03Up his dad. I had a buddy his his wife was
- 1:40:09named Jodi My. Cousin, her name is Jodi and
- 1:40:15she's like, they spelled it just like Jodi in the military too.
- 1:40:24My go ahead lady. My neighbor down the road is a
- 1:40:31army vet as well and he'll call me a a female dog and I'll I'll
- 1:40:37tell him to see you next Tuesday.
- 1:40:42Can't understand normal thinking.
- 1:40:46Do what, Brian? I said can't understand normal
- 1:40:49thinking. Yeah.
- 1:40:54Well, here's what's messed up. So Braddy knows, Larry know I
- 1:40:58have a lot of Australian followers and stuff like that
- 1:41:01and I do lives with them a lot. They're allowed to say that word
- 1:41:05on here because it's part of their like normal everyday shit.
- 1:41:08I'm like but if I said at one time I'm getting hit.
- 1:41:11Yeah, for the see you next Tuesday.
- 1:41:17Yep, the Aussies say that shit like.
- 1:41:22I got. I'm.
- 1:41:23Just saying a lot. To you, every other one in life,
- 1:41:27but they're at Hereford and that's like every other word out
- 1:41:31of their mouths. Yes.
- 1:41:34I'm like, dude, in America you get slapped for that.
- 1:41:38See. It's like I.
- 1:41:40Need your help because I'm going to put Loki out.
- 1:41:42Can you bring him in because I have to watch this.
- 1:41:45You know that's that's. Normally.
- 1:41:48Every woman in the United States, that's their absolute no
- 1:41:54go word. But that is my favorite word to
- 1:41:57use. Yeah, some, some women like
- 1:41:59they, they don't mind you calling that word, but you, if
- 1:42:03you call them a female dog, then they got that's a different
- 1:42:05story. I mean.
- 1:42:07It's not being 1 like, you know, but like don't just call it call
- 1:42:12me a name for no reason, but I I love to see you next Tuesday
- 1:42:18work. I mean, I use that constantly
- 1:42:20so. Noted like.
- 1:42:23My ex father-in-law told his wife because she, you know, she
- 1:42:27said. All men, if you're not behind me
- 1:42:31slapping my ass saying that then sorry.
- 1:42:35That was a lot. My bad.
- 1:42:41I don't know one left point. I'm pulling hair too, you know.
- 1:42:44You know what? I have a sticker on the back of
- 1:42:46my car Viking that says if you're going to ride.
- 1:42:49My. Ass at least pull my hair.
- 1:42:52Yep. I have one that says sticks and
- 1:42:57stones may break my bones but whips and change and tightly.
- 1:43:01I mean, look at my name. I mean.
- 1:43:07Oh, what have I gotten myself into?
- 1:43:10Well, what'd you do with Sarge? Let's see.
- 1:43:14How far the rabbit hole actually goes.
- 1:43:16Alice, Holy shit, I thought.
- 1:43:30He was going to stay in for a little bit longer.
- 1:43:34Hi, baby. Gunner because he had broke out
- 1:43:38the guitar and I was going to have him play a song to play us
- 1:43:40out because you know, I have to with the radio station.
- 1:43:42I have to end this right at 10:00 because I'm the longest
- 1:43:46show that the radio station does at two hours.
- 1:43:54Yeah, even even Oh, dog tags she she don't have but an hour.
- 1:44:08Well, that was a stipulate when I when I first started talking
- 1:44:12with the radio station and everything else.
- 1:44:13They're like, well, how long is your show?
- 1:44:15I'm like, it's not really a show.
- 1:44:16It's they're like, no, it is. You're talking to people and
- 1:44:19engaging and I'm like, OK, they're like, well, what time
- 1:44:24does it go? I'm like 8 to 10 central, 2
- 1:44:27hours. I'm like, well, yeah, like
- 1:44:31because the other thing is too like, if we got on on topic on
- 1:44:33something, you know what I mean? I don't want to have to end it
- 1:44:35after an hour. Like if we're like, really into
- 1:44:38something, you know what I mean? Yeah.
- 1:44:40Right. Like, look what happened last
- 1:44:42night. We had the, the, the, what's it
- 1:44:45called the, the fishing guys on. They came in late, you know what
- 1:44:49I mean? So we can stay on live longer is
- 1:44:52what you're saying? I can stay on live on, I can
- 1:44:54stay live longer, but I have to end the stream on the computer
- 1:44:57on the station. Oh, it makes sense.
- 1:44:59OK sorry I was putting a random Kitty outside that's why I put
- 1:45:04myself on mute. I've got one that keeps going
- 1:45:08underneath my damn back porch. Loki keeps.
- 1:45:20Oh, look at that German Shepherd.
- 1:45:24I'll get it, Michael. Hold on guys.
- 1:45:25I got to get the. Dog in.
- 1:45:30She is actually the replacement to my other service dog.
- 1:45:35I retired him, he's got hip display.
- 1:45:42I I've retired him now. He still works at the house and
- 1:45:46everything, which kind of pisses her off, but she gets to go
- 1:45:50everywhere. She's.
- 1:45:55Over here rolling her eyes at me.
- 1:45:58I've got a a picture when I was in Afghanistan, I was going down
- 1:46:03the side of a hill when the dog laid down and I'm carrying the
- 1:46:06dog down the side of a hill in Afghanistan because he wouldn't
- 1:46:10walk down the rocks. Oh jeez.
- 1:46:16I'm like this one had touched the water.
- 1:46:19Hose. So I.
- 1:46:25Have a dog sibling that I take care of quite often and crazy
- 1:46:31thing his name is Sarge Go. Figure that one out.
- 1:46:38My dad is also a veteran and was activity most of my life and
- 1:46:45he's a that is he too now a 2 year old chocolate lab and I
- 1:46:51have to actually babysit him for a whole week and a half of my
- 1:46:55parents go on vacation and he's such a little shit and he pees
- 1:47:03on my feet every time I go to my parents house.
- 1:47:06He is so excited to see me that he pees on my feet and I'm like
- 1:47:11bro can you not pee on my feet? I have to immediately going to
- 1:47:17the bathroom, wash my feet off, wash my shoes and then he's
- 1:47:21just. So sad to.
- 1:47:22See me even though I'm there like multiple times a day?
- 1:47:26What the hell does that mean? Milnor, huh?
- 1:47:32It's Thor's hammer. Hey, hey, Viking.
- 1:47:37Yeah, you'll, you'll appreciate this.
- 1:47:53Yes. OK.
- 1:47:54All right. She is.
- 1:47:56She is a Norse goddess. No, I know what that is.
- 1:48:00I I practice with her so. Come here, monster.
- 1:48:06So, Viking, this is Loki. Oh my God, he's so little.
- 1:48:12Oh yes, so little. Oh, that's.
- 1:48:14The lover. He's he'll be 18 months on the
- 1:48:1714th. Oh.
- 1:48:19He just wants love anytime I'm on camera.
- 1:48:23Generally he's right here, like on top of me.
- 1:48:27He's my service. Pub.
- 1:48:30Hey, hey, Viking. Yeah, that dog is little.
- 1:48:32He can take and lay his head on the countertop and look over the
- 1:48:35countertop. Well, yeah, when they take up
- 1:48:58the bed, they take up the. Bed they're veterinarian.
- 1:49:07He actually has a Great Dane, and he is 30. 30. 7 inches on
- 1:49:23all fours. Yeah, he's something like that.
- 1:49:28I mean he's over 6 foot tall on his back legs.
- 1:49:34Yeah. 5/2. Now.
- 1:49:37Dog to stand up on his back legs.
- 1:49:39If you ready, if you were sitting in a chair over here,
- 1:49:42his head would be right at the top of your head.
- 1:49:48He a big boy. Oh.
- 1:49:52Loki. Loki is a big boy.
- 1:49:55Yeah, I got a an English golden retriever.
- 1:49:58He's just just turned a year old.
- 1:50:00He's huge. My buddy, I don't.
- 1:50:03Have a dog? Am I the only one without a dog?
- 1:50:06I got 3. I've got 4.
- 1:50:09I got 3 cats. Jeez, I got 6.
- 1:50:13Cats. I had oh we had a great day, but
- 1:50:18but now but we already running. A kennel.
- 1:50:21Oh, let me guess, you guys are all cat haters, right?
- 1:50:24No, no cats, no better. Not be.
- 1:50:27We had Hey Brady, we have 11 cats, too.
- 1:50:32Holy shit, Larry, what are you doing?
- 1:50:35My sister's house down there in Georgia, they got like my
- 1:50:39grandmother, 'cause she's should be 92 in August.
- 1:50:42She used to feed all the animals.
- 1:50:45The cats. OK, I mean.
- 1:50:49And those cats would multiply. But see, I'm not on that.
- 1:50:54I would bring them all in and pay for them to get fixed.
- 1:50:57That's my thing. But.
- 1:50:58Slowly catching them and getting them fixed.
- 1:51:01But I know it's hard. I've been there, done that too.
- 1:51:03I get you friends all. The.
- 1:51:05Cats. I get your grandma.
- 1:51:06She's a. Cat Lady.
- 1:51:10But they pretty much have. He's got an amazing personality.
- 1:51:13Can dude. Loki's got an awesome
- 1:51:15personality, and he's too smart for his own damn good, too.
- 1:51:21My cats have a theme of names too.
- 1:51:27I'm going to. I'm going to see if you guys can
- 1:51:29all put it together. I'm going to.
- 1:51:31Shut up, you're out of it Sarge, you can't.
- 1:51:36So my cats names are Ozzy, Motley and Stevie.
- 1:51:44Headbangers. OK, Yeah, yes.
- 1:51:53And Stevie, I'm. Stevie Nicks.
- 1:51:56With my yes, yes. There you go.
- 1:51:58Yeah, yes. My my first service dog actually
- 1:52:06had a service cat and and he had a special name because he
- 1:52:11actually literally did. The dog had a service cat.
- 1:52:14Yes. Yes, when I first, when I first.
- 1:52:17Got my service dog. I was having some major issues.
- 1:52:20Great, Dean. And.
- 1:52:22Or they take my he. Would not quit working.
- 1:52:25He was working 24/7 and he would take a break or anything.
- 1:52:31And we had a cat that attached to him.
- 1:52:36And when when I would have a bad day and he wouldn't sit, go lay
- 1:52:41down and rest for a few minutes, that cat would get over there
- 1:52:45close to him. And if he ever took and got on
- 1:52:49the couch and put his head down, that cat would jump down and lay
- 1:52:55across to his neck so he couldn't get up.
- 1:52:59But we named the cat Jarhead because he would eat the
- 1:53:06grandbaby crayons. OK.
- 1:53:10So my motley will eat. I have to watch him.
- 1:53:15He big boy, he he chunky and I got him when he was already
- 1:53:21chunky and three years old and he likes to eat anything and
- 1:53:28everything. So like when I glean the litter
- 1:53:30box sometimes and I watch this little shit do this, eat Legos,
- 1:53:40anything that is like the consistency of like, you know,
- 1:53:46like the kids have their their fucking what do you call them?
- 1:53:53Like I'm stress balls, you know, like that type of material.
- 1:54:02That little shit will eat it, and he will.
- 1:54:05Eat Legos. That rubberized phone.
- 1:54:09This this cat has pika. I don't know if cats have pika
- 1:54:12but he does and I have to stop him from eating wires that are
- 1:54:21plugged into the fucking wall. He'll do it once.
- 1:54:24You know, I always say that he is not playing with a full deck
- 1:54:28of cards. I think exactly he's not playing
- 1:54:31with a full deck. Of cards.
- 1:54:33He said that just in. And he was was the National
- 1:54:38Lampoon's Christmas Vacations. Yes, Oh my.
- 1:54:43Gosh. My my wife has a cat that that
- 1:54:48eat that chews wires and stuff and stepdaughter went and bought
- 1:54:53her a new cord for her iPhone because one of the kids actually
- 1:54:57accidentally tore her plug up. So she went and bought a new
- 1:55:01one, brought it to the house, plugged it up, plugged her phone
- 1:55:05to it, went to the bathroom, went and got her something to
- 1:55:08drink, and when she got back to the room the cat had chewed the
- 1:55:12new the new cord in half. Dude.
- 1:55:16That last, that last place I was living in Larry, that trailer.
- 1:55:20Remember that? So I was at my dining room
- 1:55:23table, Loki was in my room. I didn't think nothing of it.
- 1:55:27I had only been sitting at the table for like 5 minutes trying
- 1:55:30to eat dinner with kids and all of a sudden all I hear is him
- 1:55:34screaming and yelping. So you know the square end of an
- 1:55:40extension cord where everything plugs into?
- 1:55:42He got off and touched the fucking wires together.
- 1:55:46And electricity. Ass.
- 1:55:49Oh damn. But you know what?
- 1:55:52He's not shooting another wire ever since.
- 1:55:54That's like I said. You do it once, we won't do it
- 1:55:57again. See, my Molly doesn't learn.
- 1:56:00That's why I think. He Thor attacked his ass dude.
- 1:56:03I think he's not playing with a full deck of cards.
- 1:56:08Or a. Whole thing a crayon.
- 1:56:10You know, whatever. Any of us.
- 1:56:12Wait a little full of deck of cards.
- 1:56:13No, I mean fair. OK, but this, this man, if I
- 1:56:19could, this little cat, he looks at me with the biggest crackhead
- 1:56:24eyes and he has no thoughts behind those eyes like you, you
- 1:56:31know, you seen that TikTok trend where they're like, ain't no
- 1:56:34thought behind those eyes. That is my cat.
- 1:56:39He is he's Dumber than a box of rocks, but I love him more than
- 1:56:43anything. I.
- 1:56:45Swear they threw me a Uno reverse card for my mental
- 1:56:48health. If they went that way, they'd
- 1:56:54tell me to draw 4 draw. Four.
- 1:56:59I got hit with a reverse draw four and draw 4.
- 1:57:03And a skip maybe? Yeah, and a skip, probably.
- 1:57:08I'm just fucking with you. Oh, I'm very well aware my
- 1:57:14mental health is a dumpster fire.
- 1:57:16Mine is better. Mine is better my new.
- 1:57:20Dumpster. Fire, I take that back.
- 1:57:21It's it's gotten so much better over the last what I've been
- 1:57:27doing this what now? Alert Brady What, two months?
- 1:57:31Yeah, yeah. So it's to the point where I can
- 1:57:35keep my Pew Pew in the house and not worry about wanting to see
- 1:57:39what it tastes like. Though my mental health by doing
- 1:57:45these lives has improved immensely.
- 1:57:48And to be able to do like this and just let everybody else talk
- 1:57:53and hopefully. Help.
- 1:57:54And reach other people and help them through their shit, that
- 1:58:01that's helped too. You know, I was talking to it, I
- 1:58:04was talking to my dad about this today and my dad is an anti tik
- 1:58:10toker, you know, and I was talking to him about you and the
- 1:58:18the warrior Wednesdays and he goes, well, what do you guys
- 1:58:23talk about? And I'm like dad, just normal
- 1:58:25fucking veteran shit. You know, like whatever we
- 1:58:29whatever topic comes up, we talk about it.
- 1:58:32He was well, I might download TikTok for that.
- 1:58:36I'm like he. Doesn't he?
- 1:58:37We're on Facebook. Yeah, yes.
- 1:58:40Twitter XI mean Twitter we're. On no he wants to get on the
- 1:58:43live and talk, but I that makes me a little.
- 1:58:47Uncomfortable. Uncomfortable.
- 1:58:49Yeah, and we're at a lot of because it's weird because my
- 1:58:55dad's an OIFOEF at and I'm an OIF vet.
- 1:59:01Both times. So it, it's weird because my dad
- 1:59:05is younger compared to I'm 32. He's going to be 49 in July.
- 1:59:13And he's like, I want to get into that.
- 1:59:16I want to talk to other veterans.
- 1:59:19You know, like we're both in like the dysfunctional veteran
- 1:59:22group. We're both in like so many
- 1:59:24veteran groups together and it, it just we overlap and I'm like,
- 1:59:30oh, well, I feel like I can't talk about certain things or he
- 1:59:33can't talk about certain things. But today we were like, you
- 1:59:37know, I'm like, we're doing these lives and it's on military
- 1:59:41broadcast radio. And he goes, well, I've never
- 1:59:44heard of them. I would love to listen to them.
- 1:59:46I'm like, OK, well, we're online and you know, all these things.
- 1:59:51And he goes, I might download TikTok for that, but I'm like,
- 1:59:56dad, if you don't, please. I need to send you some of the
- 2:00:03shirts I had for the guys in my unit telling us we put the phone
- 2:00:08back in dysfunctional. I miss, I used to have a shirt
- 2:00:12like that and I don't have it anymore.
- 2:00:16Yeah, mine disappear. I still.
- 2:00:17Have DV shirts that say like fuck I can't.
- 2:00:23I have a couple sweatshirts and shirts but the one shirt says
- 2:00:31fuck. It was one of the originals too.
- 2:00:35Dysfunctional veteran Mabel or whatever.
- 2:00:40You know, like. I hate to do it, but it's
- 2:00:45reached that time. So we have 10.
- 2:00:49I have to end it on here because it goes to the radio station.
- 2:00:54I have to end both both and. I'm going to be honest, I need
- 2:00:59like. 1. Of a break from this chair.
- 2:01:04Oh yeah, that's right, I forgot about.
- 2:01:06That metal in your back and a wooden chair?
- 2:01:08Not conducive. No.
- 2:01:10No. There.
- 2:01:11You go my left leg so I feel your pain.
- 2:01:14Good night everybody. Same time next week.
- 2:01:17I'd love to see everybody. I'll see everybody next week.
