**OR $75 Silver** 🐧🐧 You Best Hear THIS! - (Big Gold Price NEWS too) · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:00
Well, well, well. We've enjoyed an incredible year
0:03
in the price of silver and gold and I think most of us would
0:07
agree that the future looks even brighter.
0:11
But there are some people out there, in particular on silver
0:16
that are saying 2025 may not be the year that many of us
0:22
expected to be. So today we're going to look at
0:25
all the reasons why we can be optimistic about the future for
0:30
gold and in particular silver. But we're also going to look at
0:34
what they're saying and why we may hit right.
0:36
Look, we've talked about this many times.
0:39
It's not going to be just a straight ride up.
0:41
Even if we do consolidate and they're talking about $4045
0:46
silver, that will still be OK. And we got a lot to cover,
0:51
right? Somebody predicting $10,000
0:54
gold. We're going to look at the
0:55
biggest, the biggest, the largest, the most mammoth factor
1:00
that underlies everything that's going on, in particular with the
1:04
prices of silver and gold. And I think at the end of this
1:07
video, we're going to feel warm and fuzzy about our decision to
1:12
invest in silver, gold and precious metal mining stocks.
1:15
But I want to tell you, I feel warm and fuzzy knowing that you
1:18
right now live have decided to join me.
1:21
We've got thousands of people joining me down here in the
1:25
basement, 20, thirty, 50,000 people.
1:28
The channel is exploding and that's good thing because that
1:32
means more and more smart cookies like you are deciding to
1:37
learn about precious metals. And we got a lot to be grateful
1:40
for. So thank you for being down
1:42
here. Please, I want you to come back.
1:45
It's just a cold, dark basement, dark and dank right without you.
1:50
So please subscribe to the channel, hit the bell
1:53
notification thing so you get notified, leave a comment in the
1:58
comments section. You can say whatever you want.
2:01
Trust me, I've heard it all. I like when you disagree with
2:04
me. That gives me an opportunity to
2:06
learn and you are a smart person.
2:08
Listen to what I say, listen to what other people say and chart
2:12
your own future within the world of precious metals.
2:15
We got a lot to cover guys, a ton of fun stuff to cover.
2:18
We're going to do it with a smile on our face.
2:20
Let's get started right now. We're going to go out the to
2:23
Kitco. Actually, we're going to go to
2:24
Kitco for a couple articles here and I'm going to move quickly
2:28
because we have, like I said, a lot to cover today from our
2:31
friend Neil's Christiansen. I'm a big fan of Neil's.
2:35
Silver's next move could be $75 or $40 because of its
2:41
volatility, says Bloomberg's Mcglone, Mcglone, Mcglone,
2:47
Mcglone. All right, and yellow.
2:49
Mike Mcglone, senior market strategist at Bloomberg
2:52
Intelligence, said that Silver's parabolic rally is, quote, a
2:57
little scary. And because of the metals
2:59
volatile nature, he sees potential for prices to rally to
3:04
$75.00 an ounce or fall back to $40.00 an ounce.
3:08
Well, thank you, Mike for giving us a nice tight prediction
3:12
there. You've left yourself some leeway
3:14
to say the least. And we are going to talk about
3:16
the guy from TD Securities next or next to next, whatever, the
3:21
guy that predicted the silver squeeze and see what he has to
3:24
say as well. Nonetheless, Mike says prices
3:28
are up 100% this year and are seeing their best annual gains
3:33
since 1979 when I was nine years old.
3:36
How old were you? With annual market volatility of
3:40
around 30%, Mcglone warned that one standard deviation move in
3:46
price could push silver to 40 or $75 per oz in red, although
3:50
momentum indicator signal that silver is significantly
3:54
overbought. We like technical analysis when
3:58
it points towards higher prices, not lower prices.
4:00
Many analysts have said that technical price action is
4:04
playing second fiddle to market fundamentals.
4:08
Silver's parabolic move, sorry, one of my twin daughters just
4:13
screamed upstairs moves comes as growing demand has put
4:16
significant pressure on limited supplies.
4:19
Five years of market deficits driven by robust industrial
4:24
demand have significantly depleted above ground
4:27
stockpiles. What we like to refer to as the
4:30
silver rainy day fund. You know like when you put 2 or
4:34
$3000 to the side for a rainy day and then eventually you use
4:38
it and it's gone. We've been using up the silver
4:40
rainy day fund in purple. Meanwhile, the threat of
4:43
potential tariffs on silver after the US government
4:47
classified as a critical element is adding supply chain turmoil
4:51
and market liquidity issues. The final piece of silver's
4:55
recent record highs has been surging global investment
4:59
demand. Right.
5:00
We saw a big lines outside of stores in Singapore, but in the
5:04
United States, what I'm hearing guys from my sources is that
5:08
it's the opposite right now. There's been a lot of silver
5:11
being sold. So we'll see how that all plays
5:14
out. Analysts note that growing
5:15
economic uncertainty has renewed expectations for aggressive
5:19
easing from the Federal Reserve. We're going to hear about that
5:22
this coming week when our friend Jerome Powell releases his
5:25
latest decision on monetary policy.
5:28
While at the same time, inflation pressures remain
5:31
fairly elevated. All this is creating the perfect
5:35
environment for hard assets like silver.
5:38
We love you, Niels. Although silver will remain
5:41
volatile, analysts have said that there's no end insight to
5:44
the current market deficit as mine production remains
5:47
constrained and further tightness in the marketplace due
5:50
to supply chain issues could continue to support prices at
5:54
elevated prices. Hey, how do you feel about all
5:57
that, right? The guy says, well, you know,
5:58
silver could go to $40. But when we really take a step
6:02
back and look at everything going on, right, the big
6:05
picture, and don't forget later, we're going to talk about the
6:09
one fundamental factor that rules the day, right?
6:13
The God of it all when it comes to silver and gold prices.
6:17
But nonetheless, you know, yeah sure, maybe we can go to 44 even
6:20
if we go to $45 per oz silver. Okay and create a new base.
6:25
I'm not predicting that. I know you aren't either.
6:27
Nonetheless, right guys, that's still way higher than we were
6:31
not too long ago. Let's go to the next Kitco
6:34
article. This one's quicker.
6:36
I know the last one I had a lot that I read to you.
6:39
Just to reiterate, physical is king.
6:42
OK? That right, this is, is one of
6:45
the key factors. This was Phil Baker, Silver's
6:49
Phil Baker who was the CEO of Hekla Mining for 20 plus years.
6:54
The United States biggest silver miner is driven.
6:58
OK Silver's record-breaking run is being driven less, less by
7:01
hedge funds and more by a wave of physical demand.
7:06
Remember, right, guys, The COMEX and the what?
7:10
Oh, I'm not sharing it. Thank you, Susie.
7:13
I should be. Oh, I'm not sharing the screen.
7:17
There we go. Sorry, guys, You had to look at
7:19
me. I apologize.
7:21
Let's try that one more time. Anyway, physical demand, right?
7:26
The physical is overwhelming the paper markets in purple, Baker
7:32
said. Quote.
7:32
The physical market is driving the financial market in a way
7:36
that it hasn't done in my career, right?
7:39
And before he worked at Hekla, he also worked at other mining
7:42
companies. He's been around probably 30,
7:45
maybe 40 years in the mining sector sector in his career.
7:49
He's never seen this. Describing what he heard at the
7:53
London Bullion Market Association's recent annual
7:56
meeting. Quote.
7:57
It was interesting. I was at the LBMA annual meeting
8:02
and the quote of the meeting was physical is king.
8:07
The physical market is ruling the day in silver.
8:12
All of that. And I don't want to keep teasing
8:14
you, but we are going to talk about the big, the biggest
8:16
underlying factor that that will support higher silver and gold
8:20
prices in the coming months, quarters, years and decade as
8:25
well. OK, All right, let's go on.
8:27
Let's talk about the next negative thing that's been out
8:30
there about silver, because this guy from TD Securities predicted
8:34
the silver squeeze this year, as far as I remember, was very
8:38
accurate. And now he's coming out and
8:40
saying something that's not so positive about silver.
8:44
And guys, I'm not going to, we're not going to shelter,
8:46
right? Look, I know that we're going to
8:48
get much, much higher. I believe in my lifetime we're
8:50
going to have silver prices way above a hundred, way above 500,
8:54
way above numbers that we can't even imagine.
8:57
But it's not going to be a straight up ride in this guy
9:00
from TD Securities is pointing out some things that we want to
9:03
listen to because we need to be emotionally prepared as we as we
9:07
navigate the waters of precious metals.
9:10
There's going to be a lot of UPS.
9:11
There's going to be some downs as well.
9:14
The key factor is the long term trajectory of the metals.
9:21
Thank you for being here. All right, let's go out and see
9:24
what the guy. Let's look at the bad news.
9:26
Don't get mad at me, OK? I didn't say this.
9:28
This comes from Ernest Hoffman from Kit Go Gold can go up to
9:33
$4400 per oz. Silver down to the mid 40s.
9:38
OK, this is according to TD Securities.
9:41
And just a couple things, in their 2026 commodities outlooks,
9:47
TD said that they don't predict a route for gold in the cards
9:51
next year and instead expect to see new all time highs for gold.
9:56
Now let's go to silver. I'm not going to read all that
9:59
to you. You guys would leave me, I don't
10:00
blame you. Turning to Silver, make sure I
10:04
got the right screen up and thank you to upstairs.
10:06
Susie, my lovely wife and assistant who just loves to
10:09
watch me during the live streams and pointed out to me that I had
10:12
not shared the screen. As you may see on my desk, I
10:14
have a walkie-talkie that she communicates with me via.
10:18
Turning to Silver, TD Security said that if you like if you
10:23
liked the Silver Squeeze, you have to like the Silver flood.
10:27
What are they talking about? OK, I'll tell you heading into
10:31
2026, an epic scaled silver flood has resulted in the single
10:37
largest wave of repletion. I think that means like
10:41
replenishment in the LVMA, the London Billion Market
10:45
Association, who I'm not very fond of, free floating
10:48
inventories on record. With more than 212 million
10:53
ounces of silver now likely freely available in the LBMA's
10:58
vaults. London silver markets have
11:00
already unwound a year's worth of drain in London inventories.
11:05
This is the guy from TD Securities, Daniel Golly.
11:08
I think it is quote in purple. This amount covers nearly two
11:12
years worth of global deficits with evidence that we've reached
11:16
the strike price necessary, meaning the current silver price
11:20
to open the taps from scrap and private vaults, you know, like
11:24
grandma's tea set, that type thing in green.
11:27
The analyst said this massive replenishment should have a big
11:31
impact on the outlook for silver because the price no longer
11:36
needs to rise to refill global inventory pools.
11:39
I'm with you. I don't like reading this
11:42
either, but like I said, we're going to always look at both
11:44
sides of the coin, he said. Yet prices haven't collapsed
11:50
post silver flood. Lease rates have collapsed from
11:54
historic levels. Remember that was what, like 5-6
11:57
weeks ago? The lease rates on silver were
11:59
like crazy historic eyes, but prices haven't.
12:02
Prices have only traded violently near the all time
12:05
highs, clashing with a statistically significant
12:09
relationship between the commodity volatility and
12:13
inventories. All right, one last thing in
12:15
green. TD believes this will end the
12:18
current chapter of the silver squeeze.
12:20
Well, you know what guys? Look, we've talked about this
12:23
and when we've looked at the chart a million times for the
12:26
last 18 months, when you look at the silver chart, it's been a
12:29
pretty steady increase driven by like overwhelming physical
12:34
demand. So I never really thought that
12:37
we were having a quote UN quote silver squeeze, right?
12:41
Maybe I then we said this not too long.
12:43
It's not a it wasn't a so I'm going to look at you in the eye.
12:45
Then we'll finish that green paragraph.
12:48
We've said this all along. This was different.
12:50
I mean, Phil Baker just said it making headline news after being
12:54
at the LBMA conference, right? That physicals king in the way
12:58
we described it us down here in the basement was it's not a
13:01
silver squeeze that it's a silver squeeze, right?
13:09
A long term squeeze driven by physical demand.
13:13
So I don't know. I don't know this guy, Dolly
13:16
Golly, whatever his name is, it's Ed Securities.
13:19
But I don't know that I agree with him and that's OK.
13:22
Just like you don't have to agree with me.
13:24
I don't have to agree with Daniel Golly.
13:25
Let's get back to the article. That's what you're here for and
13:30
the next chapter in the Silver Squeeze saga will necessitate.
13:34
OK. This is what they say we need to
13:36
see happen. A more significant erosion of
13:39
above ground inventories in Shanghai and New York or 2 forms
13:46
of export controls that would that could inhibit rebalancing
13:49
mechanisms including Section 232 terrace blah, blah, blah, blah,
13:53
blah, blah. So they're saying that we either
13:55
need more of the inventory to get eaten up or we need
13:59
countries to basically become nationalistic, meaning that
14:03
China says we are. Didn't they say that no, don't,
14:06
didn't we hear that right? That they say no, we're going to
14:09
limit exports on silver or the United States say no, we're not,
14:13
We're not letting any silver leave our country bought
14:17
whatever. So that's what they're saying
14:19
could happen. I don't know.
14:20
What do you think we're going to go to $10,000 gold next?
14:24
But before I do that, I do want to say thank you to channel
14:28
sponsor first met right there, you can see the logo.
14:32
More importantly, what I would encourage you to do if you're
14:34
looking to buy silver, go out to their website, shop around.
14:38
They've got great selection, great prices in a real premium
14:42
experience when you buy from them.
14:43
I bought silver online, gosh, probably for the last 10 years
14:48
from a number a whole bunch of different people.
14:50
I will tell you the experience, the packaging, the quality of
14:53
the products that I've got from first Mint are second to none.
14:58
Here, I'll show you this one. This is their year of the snake
15:01
round. I mean it is.
15:03
Let's see the camera can really look at that.
15:05
Look at that. It is absolutely beautiful here.
15:09
I'll bring you out to their website real quick where you can
15:11
check them out for yourself. They're owned by First Majestic
15:14
Silver, Keith Newmeyer's huge silver mining company.
15:19
So something really cool about First Mint is the silver is
15:23
mined in Mexico by First Majestic.
15:27
It then gets shipped to Las Vegas, NV here in the United
15:30
States, like you're saying on your screen right now.
15:33
And then it goes straight to you from the mine to the mint to
15:37
you. So I think it's safe to say it's
15:39
like the freshest silver on the market #1 but #2 right.
15:43
Just as important, that silver is never touched by the paper
15:48
markets, by the COMEX, by the LBMA.
15:51
No, it is helping people around you know that are that are
15:55
customers of First Mint, right to protect themselves by getting
16:00
silver and taking silver off these paper markets.
16:03
So check them out. Here's their website
16:05
firstmint.com. Free shipping on orders over
16:08
$299. There is a discount code.
16:12
It does not apply to their Cyber Monday sale, but applies to
16:16
everything else. They've got a Cyber Monday sale
16:18
going on bars, but it does there, there it is right there
16:22
on your screen right now, but it does apply on all the other
16:25
products. The discount code is VIP because
16:29
you're a very important person and you're from Ron's basement.
16:33
VIPRB. OK, check it out.
16:36
Great company. Let's talk about $10,000 gold
16:42
and if I share the right screen, which I am right now, this came
16:45
from AIA Gold. AIA Gold, we get a bold call
16:50
from Saxo Bank that gold could hit $10,000 per oz in 2026.
16:57
More than today's price. Well, thank you for that
17:00
complicated mathematics that you did for us in purple.
17:04
After last month's pullback, gold has rebounded to 4200 and
17:08
remains in a bullish uptrend. Technicals point to $5700 an
17:13
ounce while tail risk scenarios by quantum crypto meltdown.
17:17
I don't know what that means or I know what this means.
17:20
A gold backed global currency. Wait, do you do you remember
17:24
hearing something about that maybe yesterday and the day
17:27
before could drive gold to six or $10,000.
17:32
We'll go back to that green point with rising dollar
17:35
weakness and a hawkish Fed. We're going to talk more about
17:37
that later too. The big reason why gold and
17:40
silver are going to continue to go up bets hawkish Fed bets
17:44
fading. Many see gold as the ultimate
17:46
safe haven in green. Let's just touch on this.
17:49
We got big breaking news on Friday.
17:51
What are they calling it? The BRICS?
17:53
BRICS, Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa have created
17:58
something called the BRICS unit, which is a gold backed unit that
18:04
they're using for like trading purposes between them.
18:08
But it's back 40% by gold and the remaining 60% is back 12%
18:14
each by each currency of the countries.
18:18
There's five BRICS countries the so times 12% that makes the
18:22
other 60%. So that is and that but that's
18:25
early phases as I understand handed that's what they're
18:28
calling that. It's in a pumpkin patch phase
18:31
where it's like being tested. But the bricks are showing.
18:35
And we know by the by the purchases by the central banks
18:39
that we've heard from the bricks right of gold that they
18:43
certainly let's just say have an interest in trading with each
18:47
other in a more stable gold backed unit of measure, which is
18:53
what we're getting right now. All right, let's go one more to
18:55
gold. Let's remember, right, This is a
18:59
post from like a week, week a week ago, but I think it's even
19:02
more pertinent now. Jesse Colombo.
19:06
And yes, I'm sharing the right screen.
19:08
Jesse is one of the most respected analysts now in the
19:13
precious metal sector. He's got the bubble, bubble,
19:16
What's it called? Sub stack.
19:19
You can subscribe to it, but this guy knows a lot about gold
19:23
and silver, knows a lot about technical analysis.
19:26
And look, this was a week ago, but I think it's just as
19:29
pertinent, even in my opinion, more and more important and
19:32
pertinent now is that gold broke out of a triangle pattern,
19:36
setting the stage for what Jesse is saying could be a Santa Claus
19:40
rally to over $5000 for gold. OK.
19:45
And this is what he's talking about right here.
19:47
And again, this was about a week ago, but we had several triangle
19:52
patterns and when things when, when anything price of anything
19:55
gets into you see those blue lines?
19:58
All right, there's one there, there's one here.
20:01
Triangle. Eventually the price has to
20:04
break out. It broke out to the upside on
20:06
this one. OK, all right, let's get rid of
20:09
all that. And then we had a recent
20:11
triangle, the fall of 2025 triangle pattern, which we broke
20:17
out of right here, as you can see.
20:20
And that was just right at the end of November, maybe I don't
20:25
know specifically, but let's say about about about a week ago, we
20:30
broke out, but now another week has gone by and we are still up
20:35
here outside of that. And he's saying that we could
20:38
see $5000 gold by Christmas. Wait a minute.
20:49
Do you think it's possible $5000 gold by Christmas, $6570 silver
20:56
by Christmas? I think it is OK and I think
20:59
we've got a lot of reasons why. Next we're going to look, we got
21:02
a lot more to cover guys we're but we're going to look at some
21:06
very encouraging data regarding overall gold purchases.
21:10
And don't forget, gold is the king.
21:12
Gold is the granddaddy of all the precious metals.
21:15
Before we do that, say thank you to 1st Mining Gold.
21:19
Speaking of gold, their development stage gold company
21:23
in Canada. They've got 2 huge gold projects
21:27
in Canada, spring pull in Ontario, du Parquet located in
21:32
Quebec. Both of these projects
21:34
individually have millions of Oz of gold in the ground.
21:39
They're working through the development phase, like the
21:42
permitting phase and, and all that that goes before mines are
21:46
built. The key thing that I like about
21:48
the company, and it's a stock that I owned long before they
21:51
sponsored me is that it's big amounts of gold in the ground in
21:56
Canada. OK.
21:57
And that is very becoming very, very valuable.
22:01
It's the big mining companies need to replenish their
22:03
pipelines and want to grow, right.
22:06
The companies like First Mining Gold could become very
22:09
attractive to them. You can learn more about the
22:12
about First Mining Gold at firstmininggold.com.
22:16
Let's look at some more positive news.
22:19
You know, look, it's it's so exciting to be in the precious
22:25
metal sector right now. I'm so excited that you're down
22:27
here in the basement with me. OK, I hope you feel like you
22:30
found a little home away from home.
22:32
Like I said earlier, I want you to come back.
22:34
Please subscribe to the channel. I won't beg you to do that
22:37
anymore, but take a look at. This comes from the Kobesi
22:42
letter and should be on your screen right now.
22:45
Central banks are ramping up their gold purchases.
22:52
They already ramped them up there.
22:54
Let's call that a double rimpity ramp ramp up.
22:56
Global central banks purchased 53 tons of gold in October, the
23:01
most since November of 2024. Don't worry, we got a chart to
23:06
look at in purple. This marks a 194% jump compared
23:11
to July. Wow, that's almost 200% and the
23:15
third largest monthly acceleration in the 1st 10
23:19
months of the year. Central banks have purchased 254
23:23
tons tonnies of gold. On track for the fourth highest
23:27
annual purchase this century. Not decade.
23:33
OK, not in the last 50 years, but century.
23:38
And here's the chart that I promised you.
23:40
See if I can get this on full screen for you.
23:43
Central Bank Goldmine has picked up pace in recent months.
23:47
OK, this goes back. I was looking at it earlier all
23:50
the way. I don't even have to get my
23:52
virtual crayons out all the way to January of 2024.
23:56
So this chart actually shows 2 years.
23:58
I mean, look at what's happened. But that would have been what?
24:02
July, August, September. This is July.
24:06
Yeah. Wow.
24:07
I do have to get the virtual crayons up or we'll use a
24:10
different color. Look at this, guys.
24:13
This is crazy. This is what is happening in the
24:16
world. This right here or that little
24:19
green arrow is would be July, right?
24:22
Yeah. July.
24:25
Don't worry. I think I know how to say the 12
24:27
months. July, August, September.
24:29
So from July, I mean look at that move up in purchases of
24:36
gold by the central banks. Why is that important?
24:39
That's important on many, many levels.
24:41
One of which we're going to talk about it toward the end of this
24:44
video. That I think is the biggest
24:45
factor that will will continue to be a driving force, a
24:50
tailwind for the precious metals.
24:53
But think about, I want you to think about something.
24:56
The reason why we want to pay attention to the central banks.
25:01
I got a little secret for you. They're the insiders, right?
25:05
The central banks, they're the ones who know more about what's
25:08
going on in the world from a financial, economic perspective
25:13
than anybody, even more than us down here in the basement.
25:16
But the key, I got a secret for you.
25:18
The key is to not to, to not listen.
25:22
Don't listen to what the central bank say because they have a,
25:28
let's say, a very consistent record of doing different things
25:32
than what they say. The key is to watch what they
25:36
do. And when the world central
25:38
banks, the most sophisticated financial institutions, the most
25:42
in the know financial institutions in the world that
25:46
exist in the universe right now are buying gold, the granddaddy
25:51
of all precious metals. What does that tell you?
25:55
We don't listen to what they say.
25:57
Look, we're going to hear from this guy, our old friend, your
26:00
own pal. Not supposed to open this box.
26:03
But yeah, you know, will we break the rules?
26:05
We're going to hear from him this week.
26:08
Look, either him or Ben Bernack or any of the other ones, right?
26:11
They would say one thing. Everything's fine, everything's
26:13
great, everything's right away. Whatever, right?
26:17
Watch what they do, OK, And wait till you see later what they
26:21
did. I'll share with you some very,
26:23
very stunning information about what that that that the Federal
26:28
Reserve has done over the last, what, over 100 years?
26:32
That will make your skin crawl, but will also make you feel
26:36
very, very good about the fact that you own silver and gold.
26:39
Like we said at the beginning, it's not it's not a straight
26:42
ride. We're going to have pull backs.
26:44
We could see silver go down to 4045.
26:48
I don't care. Right, right.
26:50
Long term, right, long term, which you've been, I've been all
26:55
along. We are in great, great shape.
26:57
OK, here, let's take a little break.
27:00
Let's watch something for one minute that I think is very cool
27:03
to see. This shows you again.
27:05
Well, this comes back to what we just talked about, right?
27:09
Watch what they do, watch what they do, and we watch how much
27:13
gold visually are owned by the countries around the world.
27:17
It's absolutely stunning. I have some precious metals eye
27:20
candy for you that I am going to share, right?
27:25
Hold on right now comparison of countries with the largest gold
27:34
reserves. Thailand, Austria.
27:38
Wait till you see this goes on for about another 40 seconds.
27:47
UK. That's where the LDNA is
27:49
located. London.
27:51
William Martin's association. I didn't know Saudi Arabia has
27:54
more gold. Look at Portugal has more gold
27:57
than the UK. Poland was a foolish.
28:00
They're loving their gold. India.
28:13
Switzerland. OK, China.
28:23
Thank you, Susie. Russia, France.
28:34
Germany. What?
28:37
Who's that? the United States of America.
28:44
Excuse me. One second.
28:45
Hold on. One second.
28:46
Susie's trying to talk to me upstairs.
28:47
Susie, hold on one second. That's the goal that we
28:50
supposedly had at Fort Knox. Let's check in.
28:52
This is upstairs. Susie, my lovely wife and
28:55
assistant. Susie, were you trying to
28:57
communicate something to me over?
28:59
I was just saying you had 180, right?
29:04
Oh, 200 and I thought that video was really cool.
29:08
Oh thanks. OK, thank you sweetheart.
29:11
Over. And Susie said we have 180 likes
29:15
on this video. Can we get it to 200?
29:17
And I'm sure then she'll pipe in and let us know that we did it
29:20
rah rah. OK, so that's all the gold.
29:22
That's again the reason I showed that videos.
29:24
It's really cool to watch. But #2 it shows us right?
29:28
Gold is the foundation the the of the world's monetary system.
29:34
I've get I'll be quick on this, but I don't.
29:36
And I don't know how you feel about this, but I think it's an
29:39
important part, a point for us to remember.
29:41
I've said this, I don't think that the world ever went off the
29:44
gold standard, right? Yeah.
29:46
Nixon, the Romans, all you study history, they're on.
29:50
They're off. We're going to end the gold
29:52
standard. 1971's. When Nixon did it temporarily,
29:55
he even said temporarily. OK, But we've always been on the
30:04
gold standard. I got to check in with Susie.
30:06
Wants me to communicate something with you.
30:07
What was that last thing you said?
30:09
Over? I'm here at 47.
30:12
OK, so you guys are getting Susie excited upstairs. 247
30:16
thumbs up. Thank you.
30:18
I need to remind it. All right, we'll ring the golden
30:20
gong later. It's the foundation.
30:23
Gold and silver. Read about the, the story, The
30:26
Wizard of Oz, the, you know, the movie The Wizard of Oz.
30:30
Google it. Not now.
30:31
I don't want you to leave yet the basement, but Google it.
30:33
It's it's about gold and silver. It's always it always will be.
30:38
OK. And guess what?
30:40
There's only so much gold and silver on the planet.
30:43
It's God's money or whatever. I'm not.
30:45
I'm not. It's not a religious channel or
30:47
a political channel for that matter, right?
30:50
It always has been, always will be.
30:52
And don't forget, I know you guys love it, so I'll do it
30:54
right now. Most people, right?
30:57
You're ahead of the curve, right?
30:59
You're looking around the corner.
31:00
You're smarter than the average bear because most people out
31:03
there, OK, the 95 percent, 96% of people that don't own
31:09
precious metals, right? They're going to learn.
31:12
And we like to affectionately refer to those people as the the
31:17
sheeple. And we love them, right?
31:21
They'll learn and hopefully they'll still be some silver and
31:25
gold left for him. Just my opinion.
31:27
Don't make any financial decisions.
31:29
I'm not a financial advisor. There's a lot to remember when
31:32
you're down here hanging out with a great group of people
31:34
like you anyway. But there's only so much gold
31:38
and silver on the planet. This next piece of data I was
31:41
stunned to see. And Tavi Costa, you know Tavi
31:45
Costa, one of my favourites again, another one of the
31:48
smartest minds out there in the precious metal sector, said
31:52
this. Who would have thought that with
31:58
gold at $4200 an ounce and silver nearing $60.00 per oz,
32:03
total CapEx across the mining industry would still be as
32:07
depressed as it is now. The reason why this is important
32:11
guys is because CapEx in the mining industry provides future
32:17
supply of the metals, OK? And it's depressed.
32:21
Wait till you see this chart. I got a chart for you that we're
32:23
going to look at. Only the smartest people out
32:26
there are out there now mining silver, exploring for silver,
32:29
building silver companies. Same thing even with gold,
32:33
right? But The thing is the CapEx
32:35
levels relative to adjusted for the price of gold are very, very
32:40
low. So what that means is that the
32:43
future supply of these metals, it's not like we've got waves of
32:48
money being spent on exploring and developing new silver and
32:52
gold mines. And on top of that, I believe it
32:56
also means that the gold and silver mining stocks and the
32:59
developers and the explorers are still undervalued.
33:03
He says in red, when you adjust gold prices, aggregate CapEx is
33:08
currently at one of the lowest levels in history.
33:13
Sorry, I'm yelling yellow. Almost 90% lower than its
33:19
previous highs, 90% lower. And like he says, we're sitting
33:24
with all time highs in both gold and silver are pretty darn close
33:29
to it. Here we go.
33:30
Here's the chart. OK, gold miners, CapEx adjusted
33:36
for gold prices. Look at that.
33:38
OK, This goes all the way back to what, 2009?
33:42
Look at 2011. Look at where it was back then.
33:45
OK, point OO3, right, our point, Yeah, point OO3.
33:51
What are we at now? We're at point OOO, four.
33:57
I can't do that math in my head, but it's a fraction now of where
34:03
it was just back in 2011. So that bodes very well for two
34:09
things I believe the future of the silver and gold price, but
34:13
also the future of the miners prices.
34:17
Again, I'm not giving financial advice, but I personally, if I
34:22
own gold, gold and silver mining stocks feel very good about what
34:27
the next 10 years could look at because there just hasn't there.
34:31
But look, the reality is, and this is good for the metals as
34:34
as well. And you can look at the data
34:36
shows this over the last 10-15 years, there's not been a lot of
34:39
big discoveries of gold and especially silver.
34:43
Silver's been like a ghost town. Only the smartest people were
34:47
out there operating and building silver mines.
34:50
And you can say the same about gold and exploring for gold and
34:53
silver over the last 10-15 years I was there.
34:57
OK, it was a ghost town. There were there were very few
35:00
of us that were interested in that sector.
35:03
That's changing now and I think that's really going to change in
35:06
the next 10 years. I could be wrong, but I'm often
35:10
right and I feel very strongly about that.
35:12
Now let's talk about the one big factor that underlies
35:16
everything. She's very active today.
35:22
I could not even remotely understand what you just said.
35:29
Oh, we got 300 thumbs up. All right, we're going to ring
35:31
the golden gong. But let's talk about something
35:34
very important, and that is we can look at all these market
35:37
factors, supply, demand, mining, some, all that stuff.
35:40
It's very important, no doubt about it.
35:42
And it's enough alone for us to be super optimistic about the
35:47
price of silver and gold. But there's one big key thing
35:51
that underlines it all right? If we're measuring the value,
35:55
the price, if we're using the US dollar is the unit of measure,
36:00
which that's what most of us do, right?
36:02
Even people around the world right talk about the gold and
36:06
silver price in U.S. dollars. Guys, the dollar can only go in
36:12
One Direction at this point unfortunately.
36:15
I'm not cheering for it. I'm not happy about it.
36:18
The founding fathers of the United States of America are not
36:21
happy about it. But because of the poor decision
36:24
making and short sighted decision making over the last
36:27
several decades and not a political statement because both
36:31
sides did it, OK, we are headed for an environment that will,
36:36
because of the devaluation of the dollar, create major, major
36:41
buckle up butter cups, OK, major, major tailwinds for the
36:47
price of both gold and silver. I'm going to share with you
36:49
quickly a couple key things that can, that can make you very
36:53
optimistic and prove the point. The first one I've got here is
36:57
from Money Metals, an article the feds run the biggest
37:01
October. Oh, I got to say, OK, I'm going
37:04
to do super chance and the and the golden gong and thanks
37:07
again. If you haven't given this a
37:08
thumbs up, please do give it a thumbs up because the feds ran
37:12
the biggest October budget deficit ever, ever, despite
37:18
record tariff revenue. So we had this great record
37:22
tariff revenue, but somehow we also had look at this, the Trump
37:28
administration spent 284 billion more than it took in to kick off
37:36
fiscal 2026. Wow, guys, here's the chart down
37:42
here, OK, U.S. Federal budget deficit in
37:46
October from 2000 through 2025 S the last 25 years.
37:52
Look at that. OK, look at that.
37:54
We are not on a road to, to, to creating more confidence in the
38:01
US dollar. And when I did some basic math,
38:03
all right, if you figure there's about 300 million U.S. citizens,
38:08
correct me if I'm wrong, but 300 billion, I'll round up divided
38:15
by 300 million U.S. citizens means about $1000 per citizen,
38:21
right? That means like the, the, that
38:22
your, that your government basically went out and added
38:25
$1000 to your credit card debt. If you have credit card debt,
38:28
which I would recommend you don't just in October alone, it
38:32
must have been a good Halloween at the White House.
38:37
And because we don't look at this enough and as often as we
38:40
used to, we're going to look at the US dollar here.
38:44
Now this I want to be, I want to give you a quick, quick, quick
38:46
education. This is the DXY index, which is
38:51
currently right around 99. As we are recording this video,
38:55
we're going to go back and look at the DXY index over all time.
39:00
The important thing for you to remember when looking at the DXY
39:03
index, they people say, oh, the value of the dollars dropping,
39:07
the value of the dollars going down.
39:09
That's just that's just comparing.
39:12
This just compares the US dollar to a bunch of other cruddy
39:17
currencies. This measures the dollar versus
39:20
like the Japanese yen. What's the other one?
39:24
The euro can almost forgot that, right?
39:28
It's like the old analogy. It's like compare.
39:30
It's like the makes the US dollar the best horse in the
39:34
glue factory. I'm all for animal rights and
39:37
niceness. Nothing or the best the US
39:40
dollars the best used car on a crappy used car lot.
39:44
I've heard people say it's like, you know, five guys jumping off
39:47
the top of the Empire State Building in the US dollars.
39:50
The one saying, you know, I'm falling, I'm falling the
39:53
slowest. But they're all going down in
39:55
value in real terms, the dollars going down.
39:58
But when we look at the the US dollar index over a long period
40:03
of time, let's get the crayons out, because this can be.
40:06
Useful for looking at the price of a gold and silver.
40:12
There's 100 right here. OK, which, sorry, all right,
40:18
there's 100 right there. And if we draw a straight line
40:23
all the way back to 1985. So this is about 40 years of
40:30
data, as you can see. And this was a big deal, right?
40:33
The dollar index over a number of years was above 100 in this
40:39
period right here, OK, When we broke below it, which if you
40:42
look right here, you can see that was a big deal, OK?
40:47
Because the lower the dollar index goes, despite all the
40:50
other factors, that will be a big tailwind for the price of
40:55
gold and silver. And Donald Trump, most people
40:59
say, and I think he's even said it or hinted at it, they want a
41:03
weaker dollar. So you think below 100, below
41:06
100, Oh, my gosh, you know, how low can we go?
41:09
Well, if we look back, this is where it gets interesting.
41:11
If we look back at history, we broke below 100 in the early
41:17
2000s, OK, and went down, down, down, down, down for about,
41:22
let's say, 10 years. You know, what happened during
41:24
this? So from about the year 2000.
41:28
Oh, shoot, hold on. From about the year 2000 range
41:35
2001 through about 2011, this period of time right in here
41:40
where I drew that red line. During that period of time, just
41:43
as an example, the silver price went from under $5 per oz.
41:50
You want me to add a zero to that to right around $50 per oz
41:57
during that time period that I pointed out right there when the
42:03
US dollar dropped below 100 and went as low as 75.
42:08
So we're going to keep a close eye on that because the value,
42:11
the real. Now this is more an index which
42:15
compares things. What we're talking about, what
42:18
really is the biggest key factor underlying everything is the
42:22
real value of the dollar. Excuse me.
42:29
And this next piece of data is take your blood pressure
42:33
medicine because this next piece of data may may make you mad and
42:39
glad all at this very, very, very same time.
42:42
Before I do that, if you're looking for a great gift idea,
42:45
hold on, don't forget guys check out dirty man safe, OK, I've got
42:50
one right wrong hand right here right.
42:54
There's a dirty man hanging from the ceiling.
42:56
They have a discount code Ron 10.
42:59
They've got a number of different sizes, like the big
43:02
one that I just pointed out to you.
43:03
They've got small, medium and large, and they have this new
43:07
micro version. They call it crypto version on
43:10
their website, which is very cool.
43:12
I bet you could put like, I don't know, gosh, you could
43:15
probably put probably put hundreds of thousands of dollars
43:18
worth of gold inside this thing. You dig a little hole, you bury
43:22
this sleeve in the hole. OK, this is the actual safe and
43:27
this one, the micro crypto version like 100 bucks.
43:31
These things are super cool, super robust, right?
43:34
I was like I've heard some other people say I thought, oh, it's
43:37
some PVC pipe. I mean this the the build
43:40
quality on this is really cool like stainless steel cords.
43:44
Anyway, you dig a hole, you put that in there, you put this down
43:48
in this is the safe all right. And then there's a cap, a little
43:52
slot that's on top, and then right, it's buried.
43:58
Only you know about it. You're like a pirate.
44:00
You got your treasure buried in the yard, worked for thousands
44:03
of years. Yes, you can have a safe.
44:05
Yes, you can have a safety deposit box.
44:07
You can have tokenized gold and silver, whatever.
44:10
But this is another option to keep anything.
44:13
It just doesn't have to be precious metals.
44:15
You can put your keys in there. You could put, I don't know,
44:17
whatever floats your boat in there.
44:19
But you can bury it like the pirates did and keep it safe
44:23
from fire, flood every form of natural disaster, even
44:26
earthquakes. OK.
44:28
And it's very, very cool. Let me show you.
44:29
I just want to open this up because just as an example,
44:33
inside this one, the bottom unscrews.
44:37
And what did I put in this one? Can you guess?
44:40
Hold on here. Look what I have in here.
44:46
This is upstairs. Susie's one of her favorites.
44:49
That's a 5 oz bar which is on the Cyber Monday sale from First
44:55
Mint. See the First Mint logo on
44:56
there? So super cool.
44:58
But if you want you're interested, Dirty Man Safe, what
45:01
a great gift idea. If you have a stacker on your
45:04
Christmas list or somebody that likes that Berry stuff in their
45:07
yard, check out Dirty Man Safe. Don't forget I have a link to it
45:11
in the description of this video.
45:13
And there's a discount code Ron 10 like Ron's basement Ron 10.
45:20
You'll get 10% off. So thank you, dirty man, for
45:23
sponsoring Ron's Basement 1970s. OK, well, yeah, two more things
45:27
to look at. This will make your blood curl
45:30
because this shows us why. Why we why we know gold and
45:35
silver are a just an unbelievable safe long term way
45:41
to store value. This, this visually sums it up.
45:46
And there's a chart. Don't you worry.
45:48
Here we go from AIA Gold Urgent warning. the US dollar has
45:51
almost completely lost all of its buying power in purple.
45:57
Since 1913, the birth of the Federal Reserve, the US dollar
46:00
has lost 99% of its purchasing power. 99%.
46:05
That means one. I got something crazy to show
46:08
you next. That means $1.00 today buys what
46:12
just one penny would buy in 1913.
46:16
Think about that $1.00 today, $1.00 buys what 1 penny bought
46:23
in 1913. I'll skip the rest of that.
46:26
I'll pull this up. This is a chart.
46:28
And that was the year that the Federal Reserve was created, as
46:32
you can see on here. OK, 1913 it's been a big, big
46:40
ride down for the real value of the US dollar right here and
46:43
says in 19 you probably can't read this, but in 1913 it said
46:49
that I didn't realize this $1.00.
46:51
What would This is what it says. What $1.00?
46:55
Hold on. Maybe it's better I go back
46:57
here. Hold on, guys.
46:58
Yeah, here we go. Get the crayons out one more
47:01
time. And what $1.00 used to buy and
47:06
in 1913 with $1.00, you could buy 30 Hershey's chocolate bars
47:13
and they were probably like 3 times bigger than they are today
47:16
because of that shrink flation that they've done to us.
47:19
That's what's going on. One more here, another one.
47:22
Let me pull this up for you just to show how much the dollar has
47:26
lost its value. This came from actually from
47:28
Facebook. I did a screenshot from Varis
47:30
Quadri says one word, inflation. These are home advertisements
47:35
from like the early 1970s. two-bedroom home for $7450.
47:41
Maybe it was the 60s, but you get the point.
47:44
Here's another one. Look at that.
47:45
That must be like in California or something.
47:47
It's got palm trees, 3 bedroom, 1 bath screen with a screen
47:51
porch. What?
47:52
I want that house, $7900. Unbelievable.
47:58
All right, I want to go out. We're going to ring the golden
48:00
gong. Before I do that, if you're
48:01
looking to do something nice this holiday season, there's a
48:05
charity that I feel really good about.
48:07
I'm not being paid to say this. I'm not officially affiliated
48:11
with them in any way, but I did talk to the president and a
48:14
couple other people at this charity.
48:16
It's called Hope Walks. They help kids all around the
48:20
world that are born with a condition called Clubfoot, OK.
48:24
In the United States and the Western world, clubfoot is very
48:28
common, OK, but it gets treated immediately in poor parts of the
48:32
world, which is where this charity primarily operates.
48:35
They don't have the money and sometimes the expertise to do
48:38
so. They are helping treat children
48:41
all around the world that are born with with clubfoot and it
48:44
makes a huge, massive difference in their life.
48:47
I mean, it's very common. Troy Aikman, Mia Hamm, the great
48:52
women's soccer player, were born with clubfoot.
48:55
But these kids in these poor countries that are born with
48:57
clubfoot, if they don't get treated, it really has a massive
49:00
negative impact on their life. And for for it only cost $500
49:05
per kid to come do the complete treatment.
49:08
OK, if you have, if you feel like doing something nice, go
49:12
out, check them out. They are hope walks.
49:15
Let me pull up their website right now.
49:17
Here it is right there. OK, You can read all about them.
49:20
I feel 100% confident. I mean, they've done great work
49:24
throughout the world already. There's a lot of information on
49:27
their website. And right now they've got a
49:29
wealthy donor who's matching any contributions that are made, I
49:35
think up to $50,000. So if you donate $5, that person
49:39
matches your donation and it makes a huge difference.
49:42
If you take a step back and think about some kid and it
49:46
takes like 5 years for the treatment, they have like a
49:49
brace they have to wear at night and there's all this information
49:52
again, you get it. But it makes a big, big
49:54
difference. And I know people like to do
49:55
good things, do nice things. So again, check out Hope Walks.
50:00
I'm very, very happy and excited to get to spread the word about
50:05
what I think is a charity that's doing great work all around the
50:08
world. I want to say thank you up Wrong
50:10
screen. Sorry.
50:11
Let's go back here. You're still there.
50:14
Thank you for the Super chat from Mr. J Anderson.
50:20
Let's pull you up. Thank you Jay.
50:22
Super chats are always super appreciated, never expected.
50:25
So thank you Jay for that. And I want to say thank you to
50:27
all of you that gave us a thumbs up.
50:29
I'm going to ring the old golden gong 3 times.
50:33
Listen to it resonate. We like to have fun down here in
50:43
the basement. Thank you knock you on the head.
50:46
Thanks for being down here. I want you to come back.
50:49
I hope you enjoyed your time in the basement with me.
50:51
I believe look, who knows what can happen on the in months or
50:55
quarters even. But man, when we look out to me,
50:58
this is a long term journey together.
51:01
I've been in silver and gold for decades.
51:03
I believe we got a great ride together.
51:05
So thanks for being here. I hope you enjoyed your time.
51:09
I want you to come back, take care of yourself and I will see
51:12
you. Yes, you next time.
51:15
Thank you.
