- 1:04Hello.
- 1:05Welcome.
- 1:06Welcome.
- 1:08How you doing gra yell.
- 1:09Good.
- 1:10I'm always tempted to say like, Good morning, good afternoon.
- 1:13And then I realize that I don't actually know what time it is.
- 1:15It's like a time warp and podcast world.
- 1:17So you know what?
- 1:17Yeah.
- 1:18It's a time warp.
- 1:19Hello?
- 1:20Hello.
- 1:20Exactly, because in this blew my mind.
- 1:24And you'll get to learn more as you have more episodes here.
- 1:28The platform that we put this out into the world on also tells us who's listening to the show.
- 1:35And, you know, this is quite a while back, probably like a year ago, you know, they sent me a notification that we were, we were literally ranked in, I think it was Sweden.
- 1:46Like people are listening to just in Sweden.
- 1:49Like, how is that happening, I love that.
- 1:52You know, you know what I need to do?
- 1:53I need to learn how to say hello in like 50 language.
- 1:57I know I can do.
- 1:58Hello, Ola.
- 2:00Bonjour.
- 2:01What else can we do?
- 2:02Bon, I love that.
- 2:06I don't know.
- 2:07We'll have to, We'll have to put in a, what is it?
- 2:11Bia Bonilla.
- 2:12Oh, is that, or, I love your Spanish.
- 2:19I love.
- 2:20That's all my, And we've talked about this a bunch of times, so maybe this is our topic.
- 2:24Past lives are obviously coming up a lot right now and.
- 2:29One thing.
- 2:30So obviously English is my first language and I lived a year in Venezuela, so I speak Spanish quite fluently for a gringa.
- 2:41Yes, you do.
- 2:41Which like, it's funny, like watching people when I start speaking, they're like, Wait, what?
- 2:47How did that come outta you?
- 2:48It's a little jarring Wisconsin.
- 2:50It is.
- 2:51It is And then there's.
- 2:54But where are you from?
- 2:55I'm like, Wisconsin.
- 2:56No, no, no.
- 2:57Where are your parents from?
- 2:58Wisconsin.
- 2:59No, no, no.
- 3:00What's your heritage?
- 3:01German and Irish.
- 3:02And they're like, I don't get it.
- 3:03How do you speak Spanish?
- 3:05Like that doesn't answer the Spanish question.
- 3:06What And, but then while I was in Venezuela, one of my good friends.
- 3:14Was a boy from Belgium.
- 3:16He was from the French speaking portion of Belgium.
- 3:19Cuz some parts speak French and some parts speak, it's like Dutch, but they, I forget what they call it there.
- 3:24But anyway, but he's, you know, so he would like, Say that like he would just say stuff in French for me to repeat it, and he is like, I just love how you say it.
- 3:36You like you, you know, because, But I think it is my connection to all my past lives that allow me to access these languages so easily because.
- 3:49Yes, I'm smart, but I'm not that smart to, to be able to do this.
- 3:54And if you ask me to, you know, like people who do imitations, like I don't, I can't imitate anybody well at all.
- 4:01But you ask me to do a language and.
- 4:05I, the only thing that makes any sense to me is I know I've lived a gajillion lives and I think it's that I still, like my veil is a little bit thinner than, than some people.
- 4:16So I ha I still have access to Sure.
- 4:19Those lives to bring it to in the language.
- 4:22Right?
- 4:22Like how do you explain people that speak five and seven languages and they speak them fluently and easily and it's not a big deal.
- 4:29Right.
- 4:30And then, Me, I did, uh, three years of French in high school and like two years of French in college.
- 4:36And to this day, all I have is the Gage, a ham and cheese sandwich, I love it.
- 4:43I love how it sounds.
- 4:44I love, you know, the accents and everything, but, and maybe it also has to do with practice, right?
- 4:50It's, you know, immersion is the only way, you know.
- 4:53I know.
- 4:54Cause I need more lifetimes, Julietta, I need more lifetimes.
- 4:57Like I need to be immersed in all of these things.
- 4:59But like, all right, now all at the same time, you are I would like consciousness and awareness of that if I may put that out.
- 5:08Oh well, yeah.
- 5:09You gotta have clarity on what you're asking for.
- 5:12I know, I know.
- 5:13Cause time is an illusion and this is all happening.
- 5:18At once.
- 5:19I, I totally agree with you.
- 5:21I totally agree with you.
- 5:23I will say though, you know, we were talking earlier about like limiting beliefs and things like that, and I do wanna say that for as much as I think I might not be good at languages, like I think I could be good at languages, right?
- 5:35So, you know, I don't know.
- 5:37We, we were kind of just talking about that, you know, belief system, right?
- 5:41Like whatever you believe is true.
- 5:43Like George Costanza said, Jerry, if you believe it, it's true.
- 5:48George Stanza said that, Yeah, it was a great Springfeld episode.
- 5:53Yes, but what, what, Cause um, in my work, limiting beliefs comes up all the time and, but last week I think it was, we were talking about limiting beliefs and the guides that speak to me said, All beliefs are limiting.
- 6:13And I was like, Whoa.
- 6:16Ain't it the truth?
- 6:17Wow.
- 6:18You know, and then tried to, you know, cuz what if my belief is I am limit?
- 6:23Limitless, Right?
- 6:26Is that a limit?
- 6:27I dunno.
- 6:28it's, oh my God.
- 6:31Something to like, it'll make your brain spin a little bit.
- 6:34Trying to think about it and what, what, How can you use that information to.
- 6:43To support you and, and lift you up and move you forward.
- 6:47Yeah.
- 6:48Think about maybe, maybe the lesson is staying in the flow and realizing that both yes and no's are how it's supposed to be, right?
- 6:58Like ebb and flow, dark and light, right?
- 7:00Hot and cold.
- 7:01Like you can't have one without the other.
- 7:04If I believe this, not believing it.
- 7:07I don't know.
- 7:07Maybe both of those things are going at the same time, Right.
- 7:11For different things.
- 7:11I don't know that, That is really interesting though that all beliefs are limiting.
- 7:16I mean, it's kind of true, right?
- 7:18Anyway, we could we can talk about this and still not have the answer, but maybe our guest has the answer.
- 7:27I don't know.
- 7:28Let's.
- 7:29What is the computer doing?
- 7:32Something popped up on my computer and now I can't get to her.
- 7:35Aww.
- 7:36Come forward.
- 7:37Come No, I I can't.
- 7:42To her.
- 7:44Perfect.
- 7:45Which I, The belief that you will figure it out.
- 7:50This is bizarre.
- 7:52This has never happened before.
- 7:54And.
- 7:55You know, today is the day of firsts.
- 7:58Uh, honestly, like first.
- 8:00Well, for those of you that may be just tuning in while she figures that out.
- 8:04This is my fourth episode, uh, season three.
- 8:08I recently joined this team, so I'm excited.
- 8:13I got it.
- 8:14And we are close.
- 8:16Here we go.
- 8:17Yes'.
- 8:18Welcome.
- 8:20Well, I have a language for you.
- 8:22I have, I have a hello for you.
- 8:25Okay.
- 8:25Tell tell me.
- 8:26It's Ma Boo.
- 8:27Hi.
- 8:28From the Philippines.
- 8:30Nice ma boo.
- 8:33I learned that in Clubhouse.
- 8:35Yeah.
- 8:36I love that.
- 8:37Thank you.
- 8:38You're welcome.
- 8:39I was like, I got one.
- 8:40I got a Hello?
- 8:42Yes.
- 8:43Thanks for bringing it.
- 8:45Alisha, will you please tell our audience about who you are and what you do?
- 8:50Absolutely.
- 8:52Well, let me say first, thank you so much Juliana and Garcia, for having me on this amazing podcast.
- 8:59I'm so interested in the conversation already, so I only know it's gonna get better now that we are together, But my name is Taisha Joseph.
- 9:09I am the founder and CEO of the official Glue, and I help individuals master the art of networking so that they can get on the yes side of their business.
- 9:18And I heard you say like the yes and the no's, the E's and the flows.
- 9:24And I do have something to add to that limitations or limiting belief subject that you, that you brought in.
- 9:32Cuz I'm like, you know, Yes, I, I agree with you, Juliet.
- 9:37All limiting beliefs are, all beliefs are limiting, but I also think that as humans we need boundaries.
- 9:43It's like we need them, so some.
- 9:46The limiting beliefs are instilled to protect us and create bounds around how far we'll go because the human mind is expansive and we will jump off the deep end if we do not have boundaries.
- 10:00So I think that there are some good in the limitations that we create.
- 10:06And maybe you're limiting boxes.
- 10:08Spirituality, maybe you're limiting boxes, your financial, um, stability.
- 10:12Maybe you're limiting boxes, your relational box, you know.
- 10:15But I think that there is some, some good to having some limits, I love that.
- 10:22I love your perspective.
- 10:25Thank you.
- 10:25Yeah.
- 10:26I mean, It's important, and even when we talk in in networking, it's important to have some kind of boundaries around it and how we're going to get people to abide by our boundaries because it's so important.
- 10:40You know that old saying of people will only treat you the way that you, let me make sure I get it right.
- 10:48People will only treat you the way that you teach them.
- 10:52And so it's important that we have our boundaries and we teach people how to respect those boundaries so that we feel comfortable in our relationship.
- 11:02Absolutely.
- 11:04All right.
- 11:06What I really wanna know right now though is what is one piece of advice a woman gave you that has changed your life?
- 11:16I think the one piece of advice a woman gave me that changed my life came from my mentor.
- 11:20Um, when I first started my business, the first thing I did was I like seek, I got a mentor.
- 11:26I was like, I need somebody to help me kind of do this thing.
- 11:30Cause I don't know what I'm doing and I don't wanna waste time.
- 11:33I don't wanna waste time trying to figure it out.
- 11:35So the first thing that she told me was, you know, Make sure you create strategies around your ideas.
- 11:43And I was like, What?
- 11:45Why?
- 11:45Why do we need to do that?
- 11:47And it was for the purpose of saving time.
- 11:49Like, you know, building strategies around your ideas are so important and beta, test your ideas.
- 11:55Don't just put yourself out into the market.
- 11:58So, I really took that to heart and when I started to develop my business, I really took stride to that.
- 12:05So I took time and I waited.
- 12:07As you know, most of us are just full steam ahead, push go.
- 12:11I was like, push pause and let's build a strategy.
- 12:14Let's figure out what we're doing.
- 12:16Let's get some clarity.
- 12:17Let's do that scoping work.
- 12:19Let's do all of that before we even tell anybody that we're doing this That's so amazing.
- 12:26What a great perspective.
- 12:27You know, I personally am one of those like, You know, full speed ahead.
- 12:31Like I'm a big dreamer and then I'm like, I gotta hurry up and do it before it goes away.
- 12:35So like my brain is kind of like on one of those shopping sprees you see on TV where you just shove everything in the cart and you run as fast as you can and I probably would do a lot better if I paused a little bit.
- 12:47So I, I appreciate that so much.
- 12:50Uh, I think what you said about having a coach also super powerful.
- 12:56The easy.
- 12:57Everything is so much easier when someone else helps you see right?
- 13:01That's really, really cool.
- 13:03So you, you've had so much, um, varied experiences, and I know your business is phenomenal.
- 13:10Give me one really great success story that keeps you moving in this direction that keeps you so passionate about what you do.
- 13:17Oh my gosh.
- 13:18I, I think passion is an everyday project, honestly.
- 13:22So I can't say that there's been one.
- 13:26And crazy enough that you would ask me this question today because I had one of these things today and I call them.
- 13:32Confirmation stations, that's what I call them, because like throughout this journey in business, you need confirmation throughout the journey.
- 13:41You can't just hold on to one.
- 13:43You have to make sure that you're seeing them as they're coming along in the journey to keep you motivated.
- 13:50And this morning I had a clubhouse room that I host with a friend.
- 13:54And I opened up my Clubhouse app and I got a message.
- 13:58It was this very lengthy message from this woman who was like, Your rooms have empowered me.
- 14:03I've made strides in my business.
- 14:06You've encouraged me to be, to be bold and all this amazing stuff, right?
- 14:11And those are the things that keep you going.
- 14:14So I always try to encourage people to, to share, share.
- 14:19You are doing, share other people's successes with what you are doing because it's not only for them to build credit off of your share, but it's also for them to get validated off of your share and motivated to keep going.
- 14:36Entrepreneurship is hard.
- 14:37It is, It is not for the faint of heart.
- 14:39You know, it, it, everybody can do it, but not everybody will succeed at it.
- 14:43And that is just the truth.
- 14:45And I think the number one thing that keeps us in a lack of success when it comes to entrepreneurship is the fact that we're waiting for these huge, monumental moments instead of considering all of the moments.
- 14:58Like every moment is a success and success is a pup.
- 15:02It's not a.
- 15:04Triumph.
- 15:04It's a pile of triumphs.
- 15:06It's a pile of triumphant moments.
- 15:08And so you asked me one, I can't give you one.
- 15:11I can give you my latest one, the one that is most current today, Yeah.
- 15:17And I love what you're saying too, you know, doing this podcast a Allison and I started it two years ago and we had no idea what we were doing and but.
- 15:31We'll figure it out.
- 15:32We'll figure it out.
- 15:32We just kept going and kept going.
- 15:34And you hear the statistics about how many, and you even mentioned it earlier when we were speaking Alisha, like you've been on podcasts that don't exist anymore because people just give up and yeah, this is hard and we could have given up a long time ago, but you know, had grass yellow over there forever, being the cheerleader, this is important, the message is important, what you guys are doing is important.
- 15:57So we kept at it and.
- 16:00It was like it was going, it was going, it was going and then all of a sudden, like one day it just started taking off.
- 16:07And I, and it makes me sad to think about how many of those other podcasters just didn't have the patience and the tenacity to just keep going cuz they missed it because they, you know, it could have been like the next episode that they recorded that would've taken them to, to excel.
- 16:24But, Eh, it's not working.
- 16:27I'm done.
- 16:28The, the only success is around the next corner, right?
- 16:32Yeah.
- 16:32And I think it's more so because in societal view, we're all waiting for that big moment, like that big like, you know, national syndication moment and it's like, you know, that moment.
- 16:45May take a long time to get there.
- 16:47It might take a long time to get there.
- 16:49It might take years for you to go viral.
- 16:52It might happen today, but if we're not living in the present moment and enjoying the journey of being in this entrepreneurship or whatever your journey is, like, not just this, but enjoy the journey.
- 17:06That is really where all of the magic happens in the journey of, and enjoying every step, every success, the small ones, the huge ones, the ones that live in between the small and the big, like all of it.
- 17:20I, I really, truly in my soul believe that if you chase what you're interested in and really go at it with this very curious mind, you will always stay enthusiastic about what you're doing.
- 17:34So everything will excite you.
- 17:36All of it.
- 17:36Like me being on this podcast is exciting.
- 17:39And I told you guys before, I did four already, but each time I do and I'm like so excited that someone wants to hear me and.
- 17:46Wants to talk to me and allow me to share my story.
- 17:49Like it's all exciting.
- 17:51So there's not one pinnacle moment for me.
- 17:53I don't think I'll ever have this pinnacle moment because once you reach the pinnacle, then you're striving for a new pinnacle and it's all, it's a constant run, you know?
- 18:02And I don't wanna be running, I wanna enjoy my journey.
- 18:06Absolutely.
- 18:07So you have like so much wisdom in you, but I'm curious to know, like a lot of us get there through reading.
- 18:14So what is one book that you wish every goddess would read and why?
- 18:19Well, I'm gonna share a little bit about me.
- 18:21A little bit about me as I'm not an avid reader.
- 18:23I don't read a lot and people like are like, Really?
- 18:27You don't read a lot?
- 18:27And I'm like, Yeah, I don't really enjoy books.
- 18:29It's not like my thing.
- 18:30I'm not the girl that's gonna sit on the couch and cuddle up with a book that's not.
- 18:35But I love documentaries.
- 18:37I love documentaries.
- 18:39I love watching documentaries.
- 18:41I like reading documentary books like memoirs, stuff like that.
- 18:46And I think the one book that I've read for business, it's like a business book, but it really wasn't the biggest book, but it had like basis was Chris Jenner's memoir.
- 18:56That book was, it's, it's amazing.
- 18:58And I say that.
- 19:00She really is the hierarchy of her family and how she moved from being a stay-at-home mom with six kids not working to where she is right now is a woman's dream.
- 19:15Like, how do you do that?
- 19:17How do you go from staying at home and really just living off of your husband?
- 19:23Income and fame to transitioning to a business woman who then takes your children into being their own business woman, women.
- 19:33This is like the dream, and that book was amazing.
- 19:36It was such a good book for like aspirational goal.
- 19:41You, you've opened my eyes to that, honestly, because I'm so not a Kardashian person.
- 19:46Like how you say, you're not into reading.
- 19:48I'm not into that type of tv.
- 19:50So it, it, I probably would've glossed over that.
- 19:53I'm not even bothered reading it, but you make an excellent point.
- 19:56I mean, it is an incredible journey, and I would like to peek behind the carton.
- 20:00That's really, really neat.
- 20:01What, What a great idea.
- 20:03Yeah.
- 20:05So in your.
- 20:06Experiences.
- 20:08And I know, and I'm gonna ask you another ultimatum question, another favorite question, which seems to stress people out.
- 20:13Hun Julietta.
- 20:14Nobody can just one of anything, But what's one thing that you've done in your life that you are like, Absolutely best thing I ever did?
- 20:23No regrets.
- 20:24So glad I had this experience.
- 20:26I think the best thing I've done in my life so far was I took a trip with my husband to Arizona.
- 20:33Well, we went to Vegas and for my birthday, and we wind up going on a, on a trip to go to see the Grand Canyon.
- 20:40And I, I will never forget that trip because, Being at the top of the canyon really tells you how small you are in the world.
- 20:47Like it really levels you out and grounds you out.
- 20:51And you know, if you're into like the spiritual life and the magic of just being, then it's something like, I mean, it was, it was so fascinating to me, like how I could be at on the top of this pole that was created by the earth.
- 21:09Be so close to the clouds that I feel like I can almost touch them and then look down and then everything looks like a microscopic little dot.
- 21:19It's like, how great is the, is the world that we live in that these miracles and wonders can just be, and we get to see them?
- 21:27You know?
- 21:28So that was something that, that's forever changed me.
- 21:31Like that trip was amazing.
- 21:34I think it's especially those of us that are city dwellers.
- 21:39It's so easy to forget the power of Mother Earth.
- 21:43This thing that we sit on and you know what everybody's doing out there to this planet right now that we have, mankind seems to think that this is our planet and we rule this.
- 21:56No.
- 21:57Mother Earth is the ruler of this planet and if we don't get our together, she's just gonna flick us off.
- 22:04Cuz like you.
- 22:06We're, you know, we think ants are small, but in the, in the concept of of the earth, we we're no bigger than an aunt and she'll just shake us off and start out.
- 22:18I keep saying that we're actually at the bottom of the evolutionary scale.
- 22:23You know, everyone thinks because we speak out loud and have free will and, you know, all of this, that were at the top, but I don't know, man.
- 22:30You look at animals, no one needs to rattle, you know, get them together and hold school and give them degrees and exchange, right?
- 22:37Like animals figure it out on their own, right?
- 22:40The, the plants, plants communicate, they warn each other.
- 22:43They have like such a beautiful system of communicating.
- 22:46And the truth is, is that the most fragile species here is us.
- 22:49You know, everything else.
- 22:50Like we're so cutsy, right?
- 22:52We have to use our words and we have.
- 22:55Watch our words and one word meets this and the other word meets that, but plants, animals, they don't do that.
- 23:01Right?
- 23:01Like you said, Mother Earth just exists.
- 23:03And if we left today, it would be fine.
- 23:07you know, it would still be going great.
- 23:09It's really very interesting.
- 23:10I, I love that you had that feeling of awe.
- 23:14At the Grand Canyon, you know, when you said just a dot, it reminded me of, uh, Carl Sagan's, you know, the pale blue dot.
- 23:20Right.
- 23:21Because you can even expand that into the universe, the known universe, and the fact that there are an innumerable number of universes.
- 23:29Right.
- 23:29Like it really, it, it puts everything in perspective.
- 23:34Yeah.
- 23:34And open up this curiosity for.
- 23:39What else is there out there to see?
- 23:41You know?
- 23:42And even though as a kid, I, I mean, we traveled, like my family was able to go places and so I've seen a lot of things, but.
- 23:53You know, as a kid you don't really, you don't really understand what you're seeing.
- 23:57You kind of just like, Yeah, we're here.
- 23:59Oh my God, when are we gonna leave?
- 24:00You know?
- 24:01And so when I was able to do it on my own and then like absorb it, it was different.
- 24:10It was different.
- 24:10And I was like, You know what?
- 24:12I think that was the pinnacle of me saying I need to have more.
- 24:17I need to have more freedom.
- 24:19Like I need to be able to explore like what's going on, not only externally outside in, in the world, but internally what's going on with me?
- 24:28And I need to be able to control what I'm doing with my time, energy, and effort.
- 24:33Because if I keep investing all of my time into.
- 24:38Working on someone else's time clock.
- 24:40I'm not gonna have the opportunity to see the world.
- 24:43I'm never gonna see the world.
- 24:44I'm just gonna be stuck in this limit, this limiting box of nine to five, go to work, to wake up, go to sleep, you know, that kind of thing.
- 24:54And I think that was the first moment when I realized like there's more to see.
- 24:59There's more to do.
- 25:01And you should probably be more curious about the options.
- 25:07Curiosity that will take you everywhere, Love that.
- 25:14So Alisha, what I wanna know now is what is your sweetest, most delicious memory?
- 25:23You guys gonna, Carly, make me get all emotional here.
- 25:26But yeah.
- 25:26My sweetest, most delicious memory was my engagement because it, it was, The most.
- 25:33Every time I talk about it, I could cry because my husband just did such an amazing job with proposing me.
- 25:40He really did, and it was so special because my mom had passed away maybe the year before.
- 25:48And we had always spent Mother's Day together.
- 25:50Like I would always go and, and give her flowers on Mother's Day, and we'd always spend that time together, not host, like Mother's Day brunches.
- 25:57And so his, his effort was to take that day and turn it into something great.
- 26:04And he truly, truly did.
- 26:05Like it was just the most amazing thing for me.
- 26:08And I will always.
- 26:11That, that memory, just how much detail he put into making it special for me just tears me up every single time because, you know, to lose somebody who means so much to you and then have that, that space kind of filled with something that's so pleasant, it changes the sentiment and he really did that for me.
- 26:33So that was my, that's my most sweetest.
- 26:37And my kids were there, my family was there, his friends were there.
- 26:41It was just amazing.
- 26:43So it was great to step into my new self too.
- 26:47Like it was, it was beautiful to just have all of the feelings, like sad that she couldn't see it, but happy that I know she did and happy that he was.
- 26:58Doing all this for me and prepared like all the family to come together cuz he knows how important that is for me.
- 27:05Excited because this is our new journey.
- 27:07Like all of this in, in one space.
- 27:10It's overwhelming every time.
- 27:12So that, that's my sweetest moment.
- 27:15That is so beautiful, and thank you for sharing that.
- 27:18You know, I, I love that you said, feeling all the emotions all at the same time.
- 27:23To me, that's always been the pinnacle of human existence, you know, to be able to hold all of those things all at the same time, and that's all.
- 27:31Okay.
- 27:32How beautiful.
- 27:34I have to ask, how long have you been married?
- 27:37Well, we've been married for four years, but we've been together for 14, so we decided to get married on our, like our 10 year of being together.
- 27:47So it was, you know, that moment was bigger than life itself because we.
- 27:53Been together for such a long time.
- 27:55We've had so many experiences.
- 27:57Great.
- 27:57And not so pleasant.
- 27:58Like it was just like a celebration of we made it, we, we did it, we're here, we're solidifying it, and it was just great.
- 28:10That's gorgeous.
- 28:12And honestly, marriage is easier.
- 28:14I mean, than dating It's easier than dating.
- 28:20I'm like, I'm so happy that I got married, cuz if I would've stayed in the dating pool for longer, I've been like, Oh my God.
- 28:26But marriage was like a weight off of my shoulders of just knowing.
- 28:33Know what, no matter what, we're gonna be together.
- 28:36That's, that's not a question anymore.
- 28:38And I think it's the same thing goes for you and your business.
- 28:42Like when you're thinking about that, are you married to it?
- 28:45Are you feeling like no matter what, we're gonna be together.
- 28:49Like no matter what, we're gonna be together?
- 28:51Cause it's something about that that removes the limit.
- 28:56Yeah, that's, I like that way I'm looking.
- 29:04Well, certainly it helps you focus on paying attention to your business too, right?
- 29:08Like when being working in your business gets overwhelming, don't forget to work on your business too, right?
- 29:15Just, just like a relationship.
- 29:17But I, I don't think we're gonna be able to top a sweeter story than that.
- 29:21I, I love your emotional connection to that, and thank you for sharing.
- 29:25Oh, my pleasure.
- 29:27It was fun watching her f her.
- 29:29Your whole face shifted when you, when you.
- 29:32Before you even started talking about it, as soon as I asked the question, this, the sweetness came over your face and this I was, it was lovely.
- 29:42Yeah.
- 29:42It gets me every time.
- 29:43Every time.
- 29:44Like I, I remember I went out with a client and she came here.
- 29:47We had been working together for a little over a year and she, I've just, I finally got to meet her in person and we went to go out to eat and, and I don't know how we got on this subject, but we were talking about, and she's like, You are so sick, girl.
- 30:03Like you are blessed over here, slobbering crying over your husband.
- 30:07I said, what?
- 30:07I love him so much, Well, that's wonderful to hear though.
- 30:13You know, it's so easy.
- 30:14And it's almost a j you know, cliche joke now to come on and, you know, talk about, oh man, you know, Oh, our husbands, oh, you know that marriage.
- 30:22Oh, ball and chain, you know.
- 30:24It's wonderful to run.
- 30:26Refreshing again to hear like, Yeah, man, this really rocks.
- 30:29This really is something amazing and I'm really freaking happy with it.
- 30:33Like, I think that's awesome.
- 30:35Be happy.
- 30:36Enjoy it.
- 30:37Savor it.
- 30:39Yeah.
- 30:39This phase of my life, if, if it doesn't bring me joy, I'm not doing it.
- 30:42Like I'm just not, I'm not.
- 30:46You know, when I decided not to be on everyone else's schedule and really free myself, one of the freeing things that I was proclaiming was free him to be joyous and live a life of satisfaction.
- 31:01Like all the things that I do have to have an element of satisfaction to them because if they, if they don't satisfy me and I feel like I'm just waited by it, I don't want to.
- 31:13And I think this is a great space to like remind people that, especially if you decided to jump into entrepreneurship, like this is your journey and you should enjoy all of it, like all the pieces and.
- 31:29There's this thing of like, Oh, you know, there's some pieces of your business that you won't enjoy.
- 31:34Well, if there's pieces of your business that you won't enjoy, give them to someone else who will.
- 31:39Right?
- 31:39Just hand that stuff over to somebody who enjoys it.
- 31:42There's no reason why you should jump out of the box.
- 31:45The limitation of corporate America, Into a new box of the limitation of you.
- 31:50It's, it's silly in my opinion.
- 31:53It's like, why are you doing this to yourself?
- 31:55Um, so many people like get caught up and they start their own business and then they start with a nine to five schedule and I don't work on the weekends and I only do this and I only do that.
- 32:04And it's like, Why are you doing that to yourself?
- 32:07Isn't this what you are trying to escape?
- 32:09Like, I genuinely want to have all of the things around me bring me joy and satisfaction and it's more important to me because I am a mother and because I am a mother, it's important for me to take care of my emotional self and, and be in a good space as often as I can be so that my children get to enjoy me you know, Even if they don't get to do all the things with me, at least they are enjoying seeing me happy, and they are enjoying seeing me be joyous about the things that I'm doing.
- 32:45And they can see that you can find joy in life.
- 32:48Like we think that the only impressions that we're making are the ones of which we're doing, but our actions are so impressionable too.
- 32:58Are you at your job miserable?
- 33:00Do your kids see you working in misery or are they seeing you work in joy?
- 33:07And if they see you work in joy, that's possible for them too.
- 33:11They don't think that misery is the answer, so, I had to make the decision to like get outta misery and become joyous in my life.
- 33:19Get into my joy space, Say yes to more things, be more curious about things.
- 33:25Really be satisfied with the kind of life that I'm living, because once I die, it's over.
- 33:31And what am I gonna do?
- 33:33You know, I'm gonna be like, Oh, you know, I spent 97 years of my life miserable.
- 33:38No, I wanna say, you know what, if I went today, I'm, I'm good.
- 33:41I'm happy.
- 33:42I'm like, I lived the best, my best life.
- 33:44Yolo.

- 33:48I absolutely love every single word that you have said, and I love your energy and how you bring that out.
