Zach Crotchfelt, Troy’s fiery lefty reliever, just got drafted by the New York Mets in the 14th round — and he’s not just another name on the list. The six-foot-three phenom posted a 7-3 record, 3.49 ERA, and 81 strikeouts in 67 innings, becoming Troy’s third drafted player this year. Before Troy, he dazzled at Auburn and Texas Tech, and was instrumental in the Trojans’ historic run to the College World Series — their first ever — finishing ranked No. 6 in Baseball America’s Top 25.
