- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: It's almost Famous podcast, and I am back with you today.
- 0:10Speaker 2: I'm excited to get to know one of the ladies
- 0:12Speaker 2: a little bit better from this season of The Golden Bachelor.
- 0:15Speaker 2: She's quirky and funny and sweet, and we didn't see
- 0:20Speaker 2: enough of her this season. It's Amy Kaplan. How are
- 0:24Speaker 2: you doing, good morning?
- 0:25Speaker 3: Thank you so much for having me. I'm doing great.
- 0:28Speaker 3: How are you.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Doing very good? Now? I started this out, and I mean,
- 0:32Speaker 2: we didn't see enough of you this season. Were you
- 0:33Speaker 2: surprised how quickly you went home?
- 0:37Speaker 3: You know, I wasn't that surprised because we didn't really
- 0:40Speaker 3: have the connection and I could not take that connection.
- 0:46Speaker 3: It just wouldn't have been made too and I didn't
- 0:48Speaker 3: feel it and I did try, but it just wasn't there.
- 0:51Speaker 3: So I guess, you know, it was all about really
- 0:54Speaker 3: connecting and it just didn't happen for me.
- 0:57Speaker 2: It's okay, you know, and I you so you're saying, like,
- 1:02Speaker 2: for sure there wouldn't have been a long term relationship,
- 1:04Speaker 2: but so many people don't have a connection this season,
- 1:07Speaker 2: I think, and they yet they stuck around because they
- 1:10Speaker 2: were able to kind of like hide a little bit.
- 1:13Speaker 2: What was the moment that you think or was there
- 1:15Speaker 2: a moment where you and mel were talking or sitting
- 1:19Speaker 2: together and you're like, yeah, this is definitely not gonna work.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Well, there was a moment, and I am allowed to
- 1:23Speaker 3: talk about this even though it was not aired, there was.
- 1:26Speaker 3: It was a very funny moment, at least in my eyes.
- 1:30Speaker 3: All the girls were going up to him at at
- 1:32Speaker 3: the pool party and I said, no, I said, I'm
- 1:35Speaker 3: not used to this. It's a little backwards for me.
- 1:37Speaker 3: I said, if you're interested in getting to know me,
- 1:39Speaker 3: would you please come give me the hug? And he did.
- 1:43Speaker 3: He said, I'm very trainable. So that's stuck in my mind.
- 1:48Speaker 3: And the night of the Third Rose Ceremony, I was
- 1:52Speaker 3: making a snack for everybody because we were filming late,
- 1:56Speaker 3: and I was making turkey bacon. And you probably don't
- 2:00Speaker 3: remember this ad because you were you're a lot younger
- 2:03Speaker 3: than I am, but there was an ad. It was
- 2:06Speaker 3: began strips. Remember you remember that, You remember the dog strips? Okay,
- 2:11Speaker 3: So anyway, there was like a little ad where the
- 2:15Speaker 3: owner was like holding up the bagging strip for the doggie.
- 2:19Speaker 3: So I'm thinking mysel. He says he's trainable. Amy, like,
- 2:22Speaker 3: this is a funny moment with the bacon, I said,
- 2:25Speaker 3: I said so. The cameraman followed me. He said, who's
- 2:27Speaker 3: a good dogie. Now, somebody with that would have been
- 2:33Speaker 3: like on my level, with like my quirkiness and my
- 2:35Speaker 3: fun personality. He would have been like or he would
- 2:41Speaker 3: have chomped for it, or like, you know, just done
- 2:43Speaker 3: something really funny. And he looked at me. The cameramen
- 2:47Speaker 3: are cracking up. He looks at me. He goes, what
- 2:50Speaker 3: is wrong with you? And I'm like, uh oh, he
- 2:53Speaker 3: doesn't get it, I said, I said, I'm not getting
- 2:57Speaker 3: a rose, and I do you?
- 3:00Speaker 2: I mean, Amy. This brings up a good point because
- 3:03Speaker 2: I think fans this season have felt like they haven't
- 3:06Speaker 2: seen a personality out of Mel. Not that he doesn't
- 3:09Speaker 2: have one, goodness, I'm not saying that. I think everybody
- 3:12Speaker 2: does in their own unique way, but they've at least
- 3:17Speaker 2: in what they've shown of Mel, he's flat, so he
- 3:19Speaker 2: doesn't have emotion. He doesn't like show like that ability
- 3:23Speaker 2: to like have a little fun and like make fun
- 3:26Speaker 2: of himself. Did you see a different side of him
- 3:29Speaker 2: in the mansion or is what we're seeing really who
- 3:33Speaker 2: he is?
- 3:34Speaker 3: I am. I'm sure he's a really nice guy. And
- 3:37Speaker 3: I said to him, I've never dated a jock before.
- 3:40Speaker 3: I'm in New York jew. I'm fun and vibrant, and
- 3:44Speaker 3: I'm quirky and I'm warm, and I emote and I'm
- 3:48Speaker 3: full of life. I'm extremely intelligent. Not to say that
- 3:52Speaker 3: he's not intelligent. I'm just telling you about me. I
- 3:55Speaker 3: just don't think we got each other. Does that make sense?
- 3:58Speaker 3: And I'm sure he's a nice but I need somebody
- 4:01Speaker 3: that's alive.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:03Speaker 3: So I did not connect with him, and you know what,
- 4:06Speaker 3: it just wasn't worth it, Like I could not but
- 4:10Speaker 3: do I wish I was on longer so people got
- 4:12Speaker 3: to know me and if I really could have had
- 4:14Speaker 3: a connection with them, I just didn't. But it's okay,
- 4:17Speaker 3: it's okay. My guy will find me.
- 4:21Speaker 2: And the cast has been great for the most part
- 4:24Speaker 2: this season. I do think we were missing people like you,
- 4:27Speaker 2: you know, like the Susan Knowles and the Kathy's and
- 4:30Speaker 2: the Nancy some of those people that were bigger personalities
- 4:32Speaker 2: that kind of entertained us through the season that brought
- 4:36Speaker 2: us as viewers into the show when love was still happening.
- 4:40Speaker 2: You were a good commentator on the side, even if
- 4:42Speaker 2: you didn't have a connection. We missed you this season.
- 4:44Speaker 2: I do believe that thank you.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I had a great time, But there
- 4:49Speaker 3: was a lot of course that was not you know,
- 4:52Speaker 3: shown with my personality and also with some of the
- 4:55Speaker 3: other women, and I do wish that that came out.
- 4:58Speaker 3: But the thing is, the end of the day, this
- 5:01Speaker 3: story was a love arc and it was about you know,
- 5:03Speaker 3: finding that connection and finding love. And you know, why
- 5:07Speaker 3: would they The show was not about me. It was
- 5:09Speaker 3: about finding love. So that's probably why I did not
- 5:13Speaker 3: get enough airtime. Like there were a lot of funny moments.
- 5:16Speaker 3: I'm very spontaneous. Nobody really got to see my personality
- 5:22Speaker 3: at all. But it's okay.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Now, your daughters both have a following on.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Social media, Yes they do.
- 5:29Speaker 2: We remember that. What was their reaction when you came home.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Obviously they were probably very excited for you to go
- 5:37Speaker 2: on the show and very supportive of this, and then
- 5:39Speaker 2: you come home early and you kind of break everything down.
- 5:42Speaker 3: What was that dynamic, Like, well, they were laughing at me.
- 5:45Speaker 3: They're like, mom, men love you like what happened. I'm like,
- 5:49Speaker 3: he just didn't get me. So it's okay, it.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Is okay, You're gonna be fine. Did you ever kiss him?
- 5:56Speaker 3: Even? You know? What's so funny? And you know, even
- 5:59Speaker 3: though like a lot of people thought he was a
- 6:02Speaker 3: good looking guy, for me, it's about like a connection.
- 6:04Speaker 3: So I could be extremely attracted to somebody that maybe
- 6:09Speaker 3: other people don't find good looking, but it's about like
- 6:12Speaker 3: that chemistry and that zing for me. And it's like
- 6:16Speaker 3: about you know, connecting emotionally and physically and intellectually and
- 6:20Speaker 3: spiritually and having like a lot of the similar interests
- 6:23Speaker 3: and finding someone with depth and soul and character. Hello,
- 6:27Speaker 3: you see, you see why I am single. So anyway,
- 6:31Speaker 3: so what I'm saying is, you know, I couldn't go
- 6:33Speaker 3: up when I when I came out of the limo,
- 6:35Speaker 3: I did give him, like I think, a hug, and
- 6:37Speaker 3: then Susan had to talk with me, and it was
- 6:40Speaker 3: funny and she said, go up there and go, you know,
- 6:44Speaker 3: kiss him and see if there's anything. So I gave
- 6:46Speaker 3: him a little peck on the lips, and I think
- 6:50Speaker 3: seeing was on there and then all the other ladies started.
- 6:52Speaker 3: I said, see I'm going to actually be like, have
- 6:54Speaker 3: my alphinists come out and go and you know, give
- 6:57Speaker 3: you a kiss. But I didn't really feel that smart
- 7:00Speaker 3: with him, and I wasn't about to fake it. I
- 7:02Speaker 3: was like, it just wasn't worth it. I mean, I
- 7:04Speaker 3: wish I did feel it. It would have been amazing
- 7:07Speaker 3: to find love. I mean, anyone you know crazy enough
- 7:09Speaker 3: to do a reality show to find love, you know.
- 7:13Speaker 3: I figured I wanted to give it a chance because
- 7:15Speaker 3: I thought it was like a really fun venue in
- 7:17Speaker 3: a way that maybe maybe he was my guy, and
- 7:20Speaker 3: I was willing to give it a chance. But it
- 7:22Speaker 3: just wasn't.
- 7:23Speaker 2: And it's okay, it is, it's it is. It's totally okay.
- 7:28Speaker 2: You know you aren't. There's some I mean, goodness, I
- 7:31Speaker 2: love the Golden Show. There's some contestants that come off
- 7:34Speaker 2: and I'm not concerned for them, but they really wanting
- 7:37Speaker 2: to find love, but they just don't put themselves out there.
- 7:39Speaker 2: They are reserved, you know, they're kind of waiting for
- 7:43Speaker 2: that person to come into their lives. I get a
- 7:45Speaker 2: sense from you that you're going out there after it.
- 7:49Speaker 2: So this show was kind of a launching point for
- 7:51Speaker 2: so many when it comes to their next season of
- 7:54Speaker 2: love and that that next person in their lives. What
- 7:58Speaker 2: has your dating life looked like? Maybe before the show
- 8:00Speaker 2: and then since the show you know aired and you've
- 8:03Speaker 2: been you know, let go.
- 8:04Speaker 3: I don't have a problem with men. It's like I said,
- 8:07Speaker 3: it's a matter of I'm like a kid in a
- 8:10Speaker 3: candy store. I think I said that somewhere else. It's like,
- 8:13Speaker 3: you know, there's a lot of choices. You have to
- 8:15Speaker 3: find the person, you know, where you really connect with them,
- 8:19Speaker 3: He'll find me. I My dams are blowing up. People
- 8:23Speaker 3: are like, was that even if I had a drink
- 8:25Speaker 3: with seven years ago? Amy? Were you on the Golton Bachelor?
- 8:29Speaker 3: We saw you for like a hot second, but you know,
- 8:33Speaker 3: people were like, they didn't really get to see my
- 8:34Speaker 3: personality on it. But my dms are blowing up? And
- 8:39Speaker 3: is my dating life any different? You know, Like I
- 8:43Speaker 3: go out, I'm very picky.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Help me, you're very picky. Well, what are your daughters like?
- 8:50Speaker 2: Because of their social media following, I feel like they're
- 8:54Speaker 2: may be more engaged in your dating life than most.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Is that true?
- 9:01Speaker 3: They are very engaged in my dating like and they
- 9:04Speaker 3: have like they like this one they don't like that one.
- 9:07Speaker 3: So say if I start dating somebody, they meet somebody
- 9:10Speaker 3: and they're like, Mama, we don't like this. It's in
- 9:13Speaker 3: my head, and I hear the voices in my head.
- 9:15Speaker 3: I said, next.
- 9:18Speaker 2: This season, you know, we made headlines because Nicole had
- 9:21Speaker 2: mentioned on the show that she desired to be a
- 9:24Speaker 2: social media influencer. Following the show, she had some things
- 9:28Speaker 2: that she wanted to promote. Did your daughters have any
- 9:32Speaker 2: specific takes Do you have any specific takes on her
- 9:35Speaker 2: saying that? Do you think this is did you find
- 9:37Speaker 2: it off putting? Or are you like, no, this is great,
- 9:39Speaker 2: this is what the show can do.
- 9:41Speaker 3: I'm going to say is on my profile it said
- 9:45Speaker 3: I have a built in BS detector. But I was
- 9:48Speaker 3: taught if you don't have anything nice to say, say
- 9:50Speaker 3: nothing at all. I'm not saying anything.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Okay, let's phrase the question this way. You know, for
- 9:57Speaker 2: some they do get a following from the show. Do
- 10:00Speaker 2: you think that is a fair outcome for somebody that
- 10:04Speaker 2: doesn't end up with the lead or do you think
- 10:06Speaker 2: that should be completely not even a part of the
- 10:10Speaker 2: equation and saying yes to it.
- 10:12Speaker 3: I think it should be organically like if it happens,
- 10:15Speaker 3: it happens. Like you know, my girls already happen to
- 10:17Speaker 3: have a following. But I wasn't going on there for that.
- 10:20Speaker 3: They already have their stuff going on. I was going
- 10:23Speaker 3: on there because you know, I'm single. I'm looking for
- 10:27Speaker 3: somebody he you know, to find love and to find
- 10:30Speaker 3: a partner marriage. But however that looks, and you know,
- 10:34Speaker 3: that's why I was going on there. And if the
- 10:36Speaker 3: other stuff happens, that's fabulous, do you know what I'm saying?
- 10:39Speaker 3: But my main focus, My main focus was to go
- 10:43Speaker 3: on there because, like I said, if anybody crazy enough
- 10:47Speaker 3: to go on a reality show to find love, you know,
- 10:50Speaker 3: hey maybe this is another you know venue. So it was.
- 10:55Speaker 3: It was fun, It was I definitely had a great time.
- 10:58Speaker 3: I was just me And do you know wherever it
- 11:01Speaker 3: lands from here, it's all good, it does. You know
- 11:03Speaker 3: what I'm saying.
- 11:04Speaker 2: I do know what you're saying. I mean I do.
- 11:06Speaker 2: I'm not worried about you. You're going to be great.
- 11:07Speaker 2: You're sitting in a beautiful home. You got a good family.
- 11:10Speaker 3: I have a great family, you know that, right?
- 11:12Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 11:13Speaker 3: My daughters, I mean, what kind of mom is crazy
- 11:15Speaker 3: enough to follow her two little babies, all the way
- 11:18Speaker 3: out across country from New York to La the monster
- 11:22Speaker 3: in laws here.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it's good. Hopefully they agreed to that and
- 11:26Speaker 2: you just didn't show up. Now, I don't know the
- 11:41Speaker 2: relationship status of your daughters. Are they married?
- 11:43Speaker 3: They're both married? Yes?
- 11:45Speaker 2: Okay.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Actually Ali's married to a twin. Isn't that crazy?
- 11:49Speaker 2: Yes?
- 11:50Speaker 3: Yeah, and he's from New York and Lexi just got
- 11:53Speaker 3: married the end of May. And I'm actually sitting in
- 11:55Speaker 3: their house because the computer, I'm technically like impaired a
- 11:59Speaker 3: little with all that. So Lexi has everything, that EarPods,
- 12:03Speaker 3: everything set up. The countertop, you know, is like the
- 12:06Speaker 3: right height. You know. We're good to go.
- 12:08Speaker 2: You're looking Yeah, you're looking great now if okay, let's
- 12:12Speaker 2: just play a little game here, say both daughters are single.
- 12:15Speaker 3: I love games here again, are going to pick one?
- 12:18Speaker 2: They come to you and they say I after say,
- 12:20Speaker 2: like at this season of life, they're single, they aren't married,
- 12:23Speaker 2: And they say, I really want to meet somebody. I'm
- 12:25Speaker 2: going to go on The Bachelor to try to meet somebody.
- 12:29Speaker 2: After being on the show yourself, after going through all
- 12:33Speaker 2: the stuff yourself, would you say go for it.
- 12:37Speaker 3: I'd say, go for it. Why not? You have one
- 12:39Speaker 3: life to live, you might as well.
- 12:42Speaker 2: And so you'd recommend it to really anybody at this point,
- 12:44Speaker 2: like even other goldens that come into your life that
- 12:46Speaker 2: friends of yours, you'd say, try it, Yeah, try it.
- 12:49Speaker 3: What if you've got to lose? Life is an adventure.
- 12:51Speaker 3: You know, maybe you end up meeting the love of
- 12:53Speaker 3: your life on TV. You just never know where that person,
- 12:57Speaker 3: you know is.
- 12:59Speaker 2: Some people that came on the show for very similar
- 13:02Speaker 2: reasons of yours, and I love them and respect them.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Susan and Cathy showed up to the Mansion this year. Yes,
- 13:07Speaker 2: they are a wild time. No matter where you're at
- 13:09Speaker 2: with them, they bring the energy level up. They always
- 13:12Speaker 2: help people create memories. Obviously they had their own stick
- 13:17Speaker 2: during Yeah, they did their thing, and they did it well.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Was there anything from that night with them in the
- 13:26Speaker 2: Mansion that wasn't shown that you think should have been
- 13:29Speaker 2: shown while they were there with you?
- 13:32Speaker 3: Okay, I'm trying to recall that night because I was sick.
- 13:35Speaker 3: I actually was not feeling well. I had lost my
- 13:37Speaker 3: voice the day before. Was there anything not shown? I
- 13:43Speaker 3: think they said? What was the most Oh my God,
- 13:45Speaker 3: I can't believe I'm going to say this. Get ready,
- 13:48Speaker 3: you got to say it.
- 13:49Speaker 2: We've had words. I guarantee you.
- 13:50Speaker 3: No, No, it's nothing bad. So they said, what was
- 13:53Speaker 3: my most embarrassing moment? And I said, well, I once
- 13:57Speaker 3: parted on my boyfriend and he thought it was precious.
- 14:01Speaker 2: He thought it was precious, he thought.
- 14:03Speaker 3: It was precious.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Good trim.
- 14:04Speaker 3: Yeah, it was a baby for it.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Did they appreciate that, Yeah, they were.
- 14:13Speaker 3: We were all laughing. It was funny.
- 14:15Speaker 2: I could see you getting along with them very well.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Yes, yes, totally.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Obviously, Amy because of your personality, because of your outre,
- 14:27Speaker 2: you're just like your mindset when it comes to all this.
- 14:30Speaker 2: I really think, if anything, the show will always be
- 14:34Speaker 2: a really fun experience for you.
- 14:37Speaker 3: So it was so much fun. It really was.
- 14:40Speaker 2: And we've seen over the last year Paradise coming to
- 14:44Speaker 2: play for the Goldens. Oh Jones season obviously aired. There
- 14:48Speaker 2: isn't many single guys from that season really, I mean
- 14:51Speaker 2: that's why we saw so few come to the beach.
- 14:54Speaker 2: We're hoping for another bachelor like Golden Bachelorette. I think
- 14:57Speaker 2: they need to try it one more time. See if
- 14:59Speaker 2: you know they I can pick it up a little bit.
- 15:01Speaker 2: If they called you and said, hey, and you're single
- 15:04Speaker 2: at the time, let's say, uh, will you go to Paradise?
- 15:07Speaker 2: Does that fit you?
- 15:08Speaker 3: You? Paradise might be a little too crazy for me,
- 15:11Speaker 3: but I definitely wou.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Zero no, no, no, no no. I'm not gonna let you
- 15:15Speaker 2: say that.
- 15:15Speaker 3: That's not and I'm bikini ready, sweetie.
- 15:19Speaker 2: It's not too okay? What makes you, first off say
- 15:22Speaker 2: it's too crazy for you?
- 15:25Speaker 3: Not too crazy? But you know what, I probably would
- 15:27Speaker 3: get along with all the young people for sure, because
- 15:30Speaker 3: you know what, I all my daughter's friends. I feel
- 15:33Speaker 3: more of your age than some of like the older people,
- 15:37Speaker 3: because it's it's a mindset, you know. Is it too crazy?
- 15:42Speaker 3: I don't know. We'll see. I guess we'll soon find out. Yeah,
- 15:47Speaker 3: I can hardly wait.
- 15:49Speaker 2: It's not too crazy for you. In fact, there's a
- 15:52Speaker 2: beautiful thing. And I haven't shared this yet. What but
- 15:56Speaker 2: we did the reunion here at the almost famous podcast
- 15:58Speaker 2: for the Paradise this year. We were part of it,
- 16:01Speaker 2: and I was in the room with all the contestants
- 16:04Speaker 2: that had gone to the beach, and I was talking
- 16:06Speaker 2: to Kathy and then the younger people from the season
- 16:09Speaker 2: walked in and she started bawling, crying because she loved
- 16:13Speaker 2: them so much. So I do think that is an
- 16:16Speaker 2: element in it. There is a connection with the younger
- 16:18Speaker 2: people and the gardens, and I do think it brings
- 16:21Speaker 2: them together. So I think that's wonderful if it happens.
- 16:24Speaker 2: It's definitely something I think that is unique. Where you
- 16:26Speaker 2: get to live on a beach in a resort with
- 16:29Speaker 2: people of all different ages.
- 16:31Speaker 3: Not so bad, right, not so bad as long as
- 16:35Speaker 3: there's a gym.
- 16:36Speaker 2: I'm sure there is that. We saw them running on
- 16:38Speaker 2: the beach and lifting weights. You can go out there
- 16:40Speaker 2: with the guys.
- 16:42Speaker 3: I'm gonna be working out with the boys. That's right,
- 16:44Speaker 3: that's fine, the young boys.
- 16:47Speaker 2: We're coming to the end of Mel's season of The
- 16:50Speaker 2: Golden Bachelor. We have Cindy and Peg left there. Obviously
- 16:55Speaker 2: we're going to be watching the finale. You've been around it,
- 16:58Speaker 2: you've heard the people talk about it. Who do you
- 17:00Speaker 2: think had the better connection to Mel while you were there?
- 17:03Speaker 2: And I'm going to double question this with are you
- 17:07Speaker 2: surprised that these two are the final two?
- 17:09Speaker 3: You know, I'm not sure, And who's to say who
- 17:12Speaker 3: has a connection you know. I don't know. I know
- 17:15Speaker 3: as much as you know, so I guess we'll all
- 17:17Speaker 3: find out.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Right, Okay, you were in the house though.
- 17:21Speaker 3: I was not in the house that long, remember.
- 17:25Speaker 2: No, But okay, when I was on the show, I
- 17:27Speaker 2: remember being in the mansion for the first three weeks
- 17:31Speaker 2: and right away being like, these are the guys that
- 17:35Speaker 2: are like top four, top five, And I'm fairly critical
- 17:39Speaker 2: of myself, so I was like, yeah, I'll be going
- 17:40Speaker 2: home soon, so I just want to know. I'm like
- 17:42Speaker 2: watching to see who has the best connection so that
- 17:44Speaker 2: I can watch it back on TV.
- 17:46Speaker 3: Here's the thing. The reality of this is, you know,
- 17:50Speaker 3: meeting someone in three weeks and it's contensed and you
- 17:53Speaker 3: don't really have that much time with them. Now you
- 17:55Speaker 3: can have the connection, and like I said, you can
- 17:58Speaker 3: have either maybe you have the physical connection but you
- 18:01Speaker 3: have nothing else, or maybe you have all kinds of
- 18:03Speaker 3: other connections you don't have the physical I think it's
- 18:06Speaker 3: very hard to tell in real day to day life
- 18:09Speaker 3: when you get out there, do you enjoy that person?
- 18:13Speaker 3: Is that the person you can't be without? Do you
- 18:16Speaker 3: like going to the market with them? We're going for
- 18:18Speaker 3: a car ride, you know, with them, and you also
- 18:21Speaker 3: like all the glamorous things and the fun things like
- 18:24Speaker 3: you know, beautiful luxury travel and events, and but you
- 18:28Speaker 3: just like hanging with them on like the sofa and
- 18:32Speaker 3: snuggling up or cooking together. That I think takes a
- 18:36Speaker 3: little bit of time for the layers of the onion
- 18:39Speaker 3: to peel away and to really get to know the personality.
- 18:42Speaker 3: So I think it's kind of hard to say will
- 18:46Speaker 3: he end up with somebody? I don't know because it's
- 18:49Speaker 3: in such a short condensed time.
- 18:53Speaker 2: I get it, No, I get it. It's it's and
- 18:56Speaker 2: we haven't seen those like very vulnerable emotion moments this season,
- 19:01Speaker 2: like past seasons where we're like, oh my gosh, he
- 19:03Speaker 2: sold out on her and she sold out on him.
- 19:06Speaker 2: We've seen moments, but not inconsistent, not consistent enough for
- 19:10Speaker 2: us to be like he's ready. You know.
- 19:12Speaker 3: Here's the thing. And I think when people truly have
- 19:14Speaker 3: a connection, and I don't know, because like I said,
- 19:16Speaker 3: I wasn't there. I know, for me, at least, if
- 19:20Speaker 3: I have a connection with Sellyn, it's like I'm a
- 19:24Speaker 3: very warm, affectionate person. My hands will be all over them.
- 19:28Speaker 3: I'll be mutchiing that's like a Jewish word, like nurturing men,
- 19:32Speaker 3: like all over. I did not have that with Mel,
- 19:37Speaker 3: you know that, and I was not and I just
- 19:40Speaker 3: and I was myself. I just couldn't get him to
- 19:44Speaker 3: open up with me. Do these other two have the connection?
- 19:47Speaker 3: I guess we'll see, and we'll see in real life
- 19:50Speaker 3: what happens, you know.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I hope. So, though, what do you think? I
- 19:54Speaker 2: don't see it yet. I mean I think I think
- 19:56Speaker 2: I just don't see the love story being folded like
- 20:01Speaker 2: we are used to or desire or want. And I
- 20:05Speaker 2: could go on about why I think that, but I
- 20:07Speaker 2: don't really know. They're all guesses for me, and so
- 20:10Speaker 2: I don't know yet. But I am excited to see
- 20:12Speaker 2: how this ends because I've waited all this, all this time,
- 20:15Speaker 2: and if you listen to the show, you've heard this,
- 20:17Speaker 2: but it all is time for this moment where there's
- 20:19Speaker 2: like a breakthrough, where there's like, oh my gosh, this
- 20:22Speaker 2: is how it's always said, this is it and I
- 20:24Speaker 2: haven't had it yet, and I'm wanting it, honestly, Amy,
- 20:27Speaker 2: I really want it. I think the Golden Show needs it, Yeah, badly, So, Amy,
- 20:34Speaker 2: You're great. I hope to see you in Paradise. I
- 20:37Speaker 2: hope we see more of you. Keep being yourself, keep
- 20:40Speaker 2: putting yourself out there. You are a joy and until
- 20:45Speaker 2: your daughters. Thank you for allowing you to be on
