Like everyone's capturing everything and I was just alone. The sun was shining through

the window as you guys saw, you know, I was looking out the

strip and I'm just doing my work, working and I'm scrolling on like this

is so great. So really, you guys all got the best of both

worlds. You know, everyone did so much coverage and you didn't need to

down is we're going to talk about Cabaremi for a minute, then we're going

know, experience at Bravo Con. And then I'm going to play interviews from

people that we talked to on the floor at Bravocan as well as some other

did it Thursday night, Friday night, and Saturday night, so just people

some darlings I've seen before, some darlings I got to be re which

was amazing and just great gray crowds. Now, there were some tech issues

on Thursday, of course, as everything goes when you're doing a show for

the first time in space. I was there Thursday. What was the tech

issue? The monitor was out? Okay, but I'm telling you from the

audience, I didn't know great, but I remember that you said that.

Now Drew was, who was the piano player musical director, was amazing.

He just couldn't hear himself for the entire show. I mean even when they

came down and fixed it for a second, it worked for a minute,

and then the monitor went completely out for the rest of the show. So

the following night that got a new one. So you know, he's backstage

and trying to like he's like, the monitor's out and all this stuff,

and I'm like, oh my god. You know, wigs everywhere. But

then Friday night something also happened with Drew where he was playing the piano at

the very beginning, and he thought that someone had spilled a drink on the

keys and he's like, oh my god, like there's drink all over the
4:55
keys. It's like all sticky. Next thing, you know, he realizes

his finger is bleeding. There's blood on the he had cut his finger,

and so he's backstage just like, my fingers cut. I'm like, oh

my god, Drew, what's going on? And so Nikki was amazing.

She went and got like paper towel and a bandit and stuff like that.

So we're able to get through the show that night. The uh, the

the crowd was great like Friday night there, it was Thursday and Friday night.

It was heavy in terms of like responsibility as far as who's in the

audience, because I'm keeping track of everyone who needs to come and go and

like the VIPs and all this stuff. You know. Reza and MJ did

my Thursday night show. And how did you think of Reza's performance as Louie

in the Wedding? I thought it was excellent. I loved it, and

the wedding guests the gals that came on stage Thursday night were like beside themselves,

they Oh my, we're so excited to be on stage. I loved.

I love an audience interaction, and I loved having guests on stage for

that later guests for the Conducted Symphony Real Housewives Edition. Yes, Emily,

as an improviser and comedian yourself, when you were watching that, how nervous

I knew that they were in good hands. I knew that I knew

that game that you were doing. I thought that was a really cool version

laughed really hard. I was sitting next to Mary and we were cracking up.

fun night, lots of fun people there. Cut to Friday night. That

was the night that we were filming the show, and that's the streaming show

that you guys got, So there was a little more pressure then just because

I knew it was being recorded. I also had a lot of twenty one

seeds, you know, corporate there, had like the pr company, star

Power was there, some people from Diagio and the founders of twenty one Seeds,

so there was just like you know, there was some heavy hitters in

the audience. They were a gig. Also had some people there from Warner

Brothers that were sitting with Stuart that we had been Stuart and I had been

working with for a little while trying to figure stuff out for a show,

So the stakes were high there. Jeff Lewis and on a bunch of chumps

were there, which was amazing, and Doug Butden was the guest that night,

and of course he's the one who originated the Louis role, so he

was able to reprise his role yet again. And you know, I had
9:46
a script that I give to every person who does the Louie role, and
9:50
I give them cards to read from. And Doug was like, I don't
9:54
need your cards, I've got my own stuff. So he brought some more
9:58
stuff to the table, which was an amazing and surprised me. So I

was backstage laughing. It was so much fun just running back and forth trying

to like meet up with all these people because the theater is huge. The

Notoriety Live used to be a movie complex, so they are now have turned

it into like five different theaters for live performances. So you know, it

just takes a while to get from a green room to the backstage and so
10:28
forth into the front of the house. So there was a lot of running,

a lot of running in my shoes, and they were very comfortable and
10:33
they held up great. I will say, uh, before we get into

like any of the Bravo con stuff, Emily, that was the first time

you've seen Cabaremi so loved it. What did what did you think? It

was amazing? I honestly like, because I you know, I produced live

theater and so I didn't not that I didn't know what to expect. I

just was I just you know, and I know you're you're in pre and

everything. So I was excited to see it and then it came together like

perfectly. Oh good, and I hear from others that is better than ever.

So other people have seen it many times, and other people have seen

it a few times. Yeah yeah, and I get it because there's a

lot happening, so you should see it. It's got good replay value as

they say, oh wow, thank you know. Yeah, yeah, I

loved it. I appreciate it, and I'm glad that I had it filmed

because I'm not sure, you know, moving forward, what numbers I will

rotate out and what new ones I'll put in, So every time I do

it, things change a little bit. So I'm glad that I have this,

now, Saturday, before we get into the Bravo Khan Saturday was a

little bit of a chaotic situation, and that is because well, Emily and

I had planned to go to Bravocan together and hit the floor, talk to

people, do some interviews, and just have some fun. So that actually

all went swimmingly. We ended up talking to some people on the floor.

I got to meet some people. It was really great. We decided to

leave and go to lunch because I needed to probably head back to the hotel

and gather myself and get ready to go to the show later on that evening.

So we were over at the yard House and after Emily was appalled that

I sent back my topa Chico because there was ice in it and I didn't

want ice. I was not appalled, how Dario Dario, I agreed.

So we were having the best time, right And I was like, Emily,

I remember this because this was foreshadowing to what was to come, right,

you know what I'm going to say? Uh huh oh yeah shee.

I was like, this is the greatest moment of my life right now,

Like just sitting here with you, like the biggest stuff is behind me.

I'm like, I feel so great, I feel so relaxed just sitting here

with the Sesame noodles and you and like just chatting it up and like the

weather's great and we're just sitting here. God, this is I felt like

Captain Standi. I'm like, God, this is great love life. You

know. I had the water toys out at the art house. I was

feeling so good and so released of so much pressure, and I was like,

tonight is gonna be so much fun at cabaat me, because this one

is gonna be for me. I'm just gonna have fun. This one's for

me. I don't have to worry about like major you know, brands being

there or like VIP guests. It's just gonna be great. And then I

get a call from Drew, my musical director, and he's like, I'm

at the front desk. They're about to kick us out of our rooms and

I got pickpocketed. I don't know what I'm like, what he's like,

I don't know. I came down here because my shower has been working and

they haven't fixed the shower. So I was trying to change my room and

they're saying we're getting kicked out. We're checking us out, they're checking us

out. And then I was on the strip and then I was pickpocketed,

and I don't know, I don't know what. I'm like, hold on,

okay, okay, all right, stay stay, stay, stay,

stay strong. I'm gonna call my contact. I'll be I'll be right there.

So I'm like, Emily, we need to wrap this up. So

I call my contact who gave me this special rate at Caesar's Palace. So

I call her up. I'm like, hi, thank god, she answered.

Thank god she answered, because this is her work number. I don't

us out of our rooms and I'm supposed to have reservations till tomorrow. You

know my show Saturday too, and I have two rooms. I'm just worried

on. So she puts me on hold and Emily, I'm trying to pay

for lunch. Emily knows better. She's like, I got it because I'm

like, think we talked after that. I think I was just in the

guiding position. I was just moving your body into positions that you needed to

in directions and thank god, and you were unbelievable. I was like,

like the famous last words were like when we were leaving, you were like,

I was planning on booking rooms at Flamingo, so you had sent me that

to where I could get to the crosswalk to cross over to Caesar's Palace

because I didn't know what was which way was up and you bid me farewell.

As I was walking to Caesar's Palace, Babs came back and she was

like, okay, I got it all figured out your set, and I'm

like, thank God. So then I hang up with her. I walk

in. Poor Drew is like at the Diamonds, bleeding fingers, bleeding one

wallet, less as his snacks in his bags at the front, and it's

just beside himself, you know. And when you say he got pickpocketed,

did they take like his license and stuff? They took his whole wallet,

Emily, Jesus, what a pain in the ass. And not only did

they take his whole wallet, but what was in his wallet. He had

taken out five hundred dollars cash to go and put it on roulette better than

Christmas gifts. Yeah, yeah, that's through ten thousand dollars. So he's

there and I'm like, hi, honey, I'm like career, it's like

I know. And then so we have to wait for the other person to

finish up their transaction. Guy behind the desks gives us our new keys to

our old rooms. Our stuff is still in the rooms. All is great.

So then Drew's like, I've got to go to like whatever and do

a report here at the hotel, you know. So I go up,

but first we both go to our new We go to his room. He's

being switched into a new room though because his shower doesn't work in the old

room, which is why poor Drew. We figured out that that we were

getting checked out because when he was going to switch rooms, we realized we

were being checked out. Right. So he's like, I we go to

his room, I help him take his stuff to move. I help him

move all this stuff into his new room. Right before I leave, he's

like, let me just make sure the shower works. We go in the

bathroom. He twists the nozzles. No, I said, Drew, pull

it out. No, he pulls it out. I go. He didn't

pull it out in the other room, did you. He's like, oh

shit, did he definitely lose his wallet or was it in the other pocket?

Well I started to wonder, but no, the wallet's definitely gone.

But I did wonder if it fell out. And the other thing was so

his like he has a crossbody like satchel thing. It's like a canvas,

almost like an army thing, and it snaps. It's not separate, it

snaps it. So he was carrying like two bags, meaning like you know,

he had gone to CBS and gotten some snacks or what have you,

and there were tons of people and he knows when he lost it because he

had just paid for these things. So then by the time he got back

across the street, he was like, oh, I'm hungry, I'm gonna

go get someone to eat. And he felt like his wallet was gone and

his satchel was the snap was up and he was, you know, bunking

against people. So you know it's a high crime town. Yeah, sure,

so sure enough, I'm sure that someone did take it. And I

was trying to get to the bo I was like, are you sure maybe

you didn't lose it, and I said, the only reason why I'm wondering

if that happened is just because you could have bumped up and knows. And

I was like, also, it would make me and it would probably make

him feel better and not as victimized if you lost it as opposed to someone

reaching in and taking it. That being said, we just don't know.

He froze his accounts. The good news is that American Express you can freeze

your accounts and you can still use American Express through your phone if you have

your phone and your phone wasn't stolen, so like, for example, through

Apple Pay, He's able to do it that way, which I was worried

because I was like, well, what are you going to do? He's

goes back. He tries to make the police report. It doesn't work.

It's Saturday. It's like now we're up around three thirty four o'clock. He's

like, I'm just going to go out and walk around and try and find

a police officer. I'm like, Drew, no, stay in your room.

I'm like, you're not going anywhere. Okay, You're not going to

go find a police officer. It's not going to do any good. You

can't get to a police station at Saturday. They're probably closed. There's got

to be awations are open. No, but getting He already tried to call

the non emergency hotline and they were like, you have to go to police

station. We're upwards around four o'clock at this point, there's no time to

make a police report. He's not going to a police station. I'm like,

you're not doing it. It's not happening. We'll figure that out on

the back end, Okay. In the meantime, we need to figure out

how you can get through security without your ID, which I know this happens

to people all the time. And he and my assistant that I hired in

Vegas was great. She got like a form for him to fill out.

He had to get there two hours early to make sure he's you know,

enough time to get through security when his flight was at five point thirty,

so like he had to wake up at like three o'clock in the morning in

lately for the airport. So meanwhile, he did get through security fine.

And then the other thing, poor Drew, he had made plans to go

see He had bought tickets online to go see a show at the Sphere on

Saturday. He arrived at the Sphere, there's no show. He bought tickets

for Sunday and there's no show on Saturday. Oh my god. And they

wouldn't give him his money back. But he's gonna dispute that. Everyone shed
