Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: We're right here one of six point seven light FM.
- 0:04Speaker 1: Jack and Christine, good morning, Thank you for having a son.
- 0:09Speaker 1: So where do we go for information now? We've got
- 0:12Speaker 1: so many places to.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Look at christ we do, but apparently if we say
- 0:16Speaker 2: google it, it's like giving away our age.
- 0:20Speaker 3: I don't know it's still there though.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Yeah, you can still Google, or we call it now,
- 0:25Speaker 2: search it up, search it up. Yeah, sounds like it
- 0:28Speaker 2: should be a song search it up. Reason is simple.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Younger generations are using chat, GPT, TikTok, YouTube, Siri, Alexa
- 0:38Speaker 2: to do their searching, so when we say google it,
- 0:41Speaker 2: that's just narrowing it down to one thing, so they're
- 0:44Speaker 2: not as much into the googling as we.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Always say this as far, I will defend Google with
- 0:49Speaker 1: one thing that has the AI now so it will
- 0:52Speaker 1: give you an answer where you used to just give
- 0:54Speaker 1: you fifteen websites and you have to find it yourself.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 0:57Speaker 1: And I asked producer Christen. He said, you know people
- 0:59Speaker 1: are looking up information on TikTok, which I'm not a
- 1:02Speaker 1: big TikTok user, but you and I if we wanted
- 1:06Speaker 1: to know how the best how to polish, I don't
- 1:08Speaker 1: know the headlights in our car.
- 1:10Speaker 3: You go to YouTube and they'll show you a video.
- 1:13Speaker 3: But she reminded me that those videos, the guy comes out,
- 1:17Speaker 3: he shows you the rags. Here's my garage, like cuts
- 1:20Speaker 3: to the chase, right there at the headlight, polishing it up,
- 1:23Speaker 3: and this is the stuff you use. Yeah.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Yeah, so TikTok might be a little quicker, but yes, YouTube,
- 1:28Speaker 2: but sometimes I have to speed it along too. They're
- 1:31Speaker 2: also letting us know what's giving us away if if
- 1:35Speaker 2: you care your age, they say, taking photos of your
- 1:37Speaker 2: food and posting it online. They're done with that. The
- 1:40Speaker 2: phrase I did a thing has been overused. I've never
- 1:44Speaker 2: done a thing, You've never done you.
- 1:47Speaker 3: I may have, I just never said I've done a thing.
- 1:49Speaker 3: They've been many things.
- 1:51Speaker 2: This for years. Skinny jeans, Okay, we got the message.
- 1:54Speaker 2: They don't want skinny jeans anymore. They don't like y.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Lol, they say.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Look, especially if you say that, they're like, just laugh,
- 2:01Speaker 2: don't say lo L Do people say it?
- 2:04Speaker 3: I thought you just used it when you text somebody
- 2:08Speaker 3: help me here.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Typically it says but it's.
- 2:10Speaker 3: I mean christy. If you say something funny, I'm gonna laugh.
- 2:12Speaker 3: I'm not just gonna go L o L.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't think I've ever said lo l, but
- 2:17Speaker 2: yes it does. It does sound a little ud. Open
- 2:19Speaker 2: toe shoes. Sorry, I'm wearing sandals today, so I guess
- 2:23Speaker 2: I've been canceled.
- 2:24Speaker 3: My feet's not my best thing, so keeping covered.
- 2:27Speaker 2: They're tired of side parts and hair and high waisted jeans,
- 2:30Speaker 2: which I thought you guys just brought back. But now
- 2:33Speaker 2: you're done.
- 2:33Speaker 3: Okay, just can we say Can I say what I'm
- 2:36Speaker 3: not happy with?
- 2:37Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 2:37Speaker 3: What are you not drop the word? Like, oh, for
- 2:40Speaker 3: every five words when you're having a conversation, like anybody.
- 2:46Speaker 3: I was like, you know, and like he was like,
- 2:48Speaker 3: and we did this, Like I was like, drop it.
- 2:51Speaker 2: I think I might do it.
