- 6:19in the line at all. No coffee man, no nothings, mister Hunter.
- 6:24I can't think of anybody you would want to kill him. You can't
- 6:27remember seeing anybody's suspicious hang around your house? No, no, no,
- 6:30I can't. Sorry, well, none of your neighbors saw anybody you did.
- 6:32And here's a report from the lamb bomb is a time bomb on pieces
- 6:39of an old alarm clock. On the size of the explosion must have been
- 6:42about eight or ten sticks of dynamite. Sure lucky you and the family were
- 6:46in the back of the house. Very lucky. And we don't do our
- 6:48best to catch whom every once since probably just a crank man like myself,
- 6:53politic public figure. It makes a lot of enemies for one reason or another.
- 6:58Maybe this one didn't vote form filast election doctor, come to think of
- 7:01it, maybe well, we may want to talk to you again, sir
- 7:10Gusline. Yeah, oh yeah, how long ago? Anyone hurt? Right?
- 7:23Un another bombing one friend of yours council with Adams. What was he
- 7:30hurt? Yeah, I'm both he and his wife in the hospital. I've
- 7:31got a child child ruined the house where Adams and his wife hurt badly.
- 7:38Well, I don't know our ambulance took him away. I'll have to check
- 7:40with the hospital. This is awful. Everybody should certainly be warned. They
- 7:45will be, including the mayn. We'll put a man with here when your
- 7:47family and mister Hunter and the Meanwhile, we will go and look at this
- 7:51Adams house. Yes, clan, I got a man over here thanks to
- 8:13Layby. You saw the guy who play at the bottom. Let's go talk
- 8:16to him. I go over and talk to Chief Anderson, Matt. See
- 8:18what he's got to say about the damage. Yeah, this man's the labor
- 8:24that's the crow. This is a little tell of guttriy I, miss Crow,
- 8:28g anitie tennant. Let's move over here where we can start, all
- 8:37right, now tell a little talent. Just what you told me was to
- 8:41crow as well. Aw About a four thirty I was working in my backyard
- 8:46mowing the lawn, and I saw Missus Adams get into her corn drive out
- 8:48of the garage as well. About it. An hour later I went around
- 8:52front to get the holes, and that I saw an old truck full up
- 8:54across the seat. I saw a man get out, kind of an old
- 8:56man, you know, old clothes, and he went around the back of
- 9:00the truck and took out someday looked like a box and was about to about
- 9:03took the big guy again, then he hit it for the atom of his
- 9:05house. A couple of hours later, I was sitting in my living room
- 9:07and I saw him mister and missus out on his full up in front of
- 9:11that house and go in. A little while later, my wife and I
- 9:13were having dinner and the explosion happened. What's the most of the windows in
- 9:18our hut. I didn't think about the old guy with the box until I
- 9:20found out what had happened to night. I remembered reading about this other bombing
- 9:24yesterday. I figured that box the old guy was carrying might have been the
- 9:28bomb. Yeah. Can you remember what this whole guy looked like? Well
- 9:33it maybe if if I saw him again. And what kind of a truck
- 9:37was he driving? Oh, real old and really beat up at an old
- 9:41Ford or Chevy, you know, one of those pickups. What did you
- 9:48say? I said, you didn't get the license? Ill, no,
- 9:52why would I get it. I didn't even think anything about him. So
- 9:54after the explosion, Well, if you saw him again, be you think
- 9:58you might recognize him? Yeah? Yeah, I think so, But all
- 10:01right, thank you very much, mister Crump. We'll keep intention with him.
- 10:05Get Mr Crump's phone number and anything we might mean. All right,
- 10:07I'll be up with Math okay man, Yeah, ok Kutley, I I'm
- 10:16Matt hi bomb doing that bomb and the fire us Lord's dynamite and the last
- 10:22time little this room sky high, Oh watch out with the glare sellers exploded.
- 10:26Was right about here? Huh. Probably walked up to the side of
- 10:30the house doctor moments all opening in the foundation. Surprise nobody saw him.
- 10:33If somebody thinks he didn't, Yeah, you're better catch this boy. He
- 10:35hasn't killed anybody yet, but he's trying to be hard getting cold. Yeah,
- 11:01paper says, smell as you make out with Chrump. Nothing. He
- 11:05looked through the whole mud file. Not a thing and talk to the hospital
- 11:09this morning. Adams isn't going to be all right. No luck on that
- 11:11old Ford pickup. Why don't you turn up the heat? Okay, yeah,
- 11:18I bet we'd get a wizard. We'll do, you know, definitely.
- 11:24Yeah. What was he wearing? Well, that sounds like him.
- 11:35We'll be right down. Well, maybe we got the bomber twenty minutes ago
- 11:39picked up a man wearing old cover rolls and a dirty leather jacket coming out
- 11:43of a steak building and spotted him. Followed him three blocks before the grambling
- 11:46climbing into an old Ford pickup thirty sticks of dynamite in the bank of the
- 11:50trunk. Ah set man, Yeah, Ben, I got Crump sin he
- 12:15got from How many men are you're gonna show three besides the suspect? Okay,
- 12:18I'll go sit with Clump. Well, mister Crump, Oh, Lieutenant
- 12:26Gustry, I couldn't see. Yeah, Well, we want you to look
- 12:30at some suspect. Oh that's that's what Tige and Grab said. And we
- 12:33think one of them might be the man who planned to the bombs. Well,
- 12:35I hope I can help, all right, Ben, run him one
- 12:39here you quiet, all right, Come one, move out to the end
- 12:43of the space. Come on, get on coveralls and leather jacket. I'd
- 12:50take a good one, all right. The man in the end, Lieutenant,
- 12:52what about it? And that's the man, no doubt about it.
- 12:54I remember been in that song. I would he's the one that got out
- 12:58of the truck, all right, was the one with the box, all
- 13:01right? Matt run him off, and we'll need a statement from you,
- 13:05mister Krump, oh shure? And what were the others arrested for? They
- 13:11weren't, mister Krump. Were the others were police officers? Edmund O'Brien,
- 13:28who plays the title role in Yours Truly Johnny Dollar, will be on his
- 13:33latest case tomorrow night over most of these same CBS stations. In one of
- 13:37his most thrilling investigations, Johnny Dollar goes to London to join forces with the
- 13:41men from Scotland Yard in the Hatchet House Deft matter. How that London trip
- 13:46hads Johnny Dollar's famous old expense account. Don't miss Johnny Dollar on Wednesdays.
- 14:07He's gonna be a tough nut. Arresting officers couldn't get a thing out of
- 14:09him. We've got men over there talking with people in the State building.
- 14:13So far nobody would remembers seeing him. Comminute names. Lewis Black, Yeah,
- 14:18driver's license gave his address of nineteen Tennis Flower ashes over there in our
- 14:22checking. I wonder what he was doing in the State Building. I don't
- 14:26worried too him. I wonder if oh no, no, he couldn't have
- 14:33a big building I hope you're right. Hello, Lois, I'm gonna tell
- 14:41of Cuthriye, this is Sergeant grim Glenn. Yeah, let's see upstairs,
- 14:46right, Iss, Anonymous, I want to talk to you about these bombings.
- 14:54We know you made those bombs. The man saw you walk up to
- 14:56the Adams house with one of them. He's your cold. Yeah, I
- 15:00started to snow. That's right, that's right. Why don't you tell us
- 15:03about it? Why I made him? Why I made him? I don't
- 15:07have to tell you why you put one of them on the George Hunter's house.
- 15:11You know him? No, he but you don't know him pessionally.
- 15:15No? Did you know Adams? No? Well then why trying to kill
- 15:18him? Isn't there a heat? And here is something. I've been out
- 15:22of work. I've been out of work long. Yeah, Hunter or Adams
- 15:26have something to do with him. She don't want to know why I made
- 15:30those bombs, didn't she. We'd like to know. There's no fun being
- 15:33out of work. I've been out of work for a long time. You
- 15:35ever been out on Yeah, well then you know it's no fun. You're

- 15:48Don't try to push I don't like being pushed around. I can stand
- 15:54it down as long as you can. We're not trying to push you.
- 15:58No, No, we don't like this any better than you do. It's
- 16:02just a job. Mcquarn said, to be somebody else. Okay, if
- 16:07you had a job, you're trying to do it the best you could,
- 16:08wouldn't you? Sure? I said jobs all the time, always did the
- 16:11best of kid? What kind of jobs? Did you go? All?
- 16:15All kinds of its? Minor once? I work in Pennsylvanias that way,
- 16:19you're from Pennsylvania. Yeah, I got all kinds of jobs once, and
- 16:22I couldn't get it to nobody is Yeah, that's the trouble. It's not
- 16:26enough. Job. Got to do something about getting jobs from people. A
- 16:30bunch of dirty politicians they don't worry about guys like me. Gonna make speeches,
- 16:33sure, yeah, they get elected and Undering like Adams and hunter Don
- 16:37like Adams, kind of a whole bunch. And the guy he's the worst
- 16:41woe of the bunch. He's the business. He could do something if he
- 16:45wanted to, but he don't. I ain't had a job in three years.
- 16:48You don't. I could take care of him like it at Adams and
- 16:49Hunter, wouldn't it. I'm not going to tell you anything. He think

- 25:30Mayor Sergeant Matt Grabb, is written by Blake Edward. The music by Eddie

- 25:41Lang. The lineup is produced and directed by Him Delvayer. The beginning next
- 25:56week, the lineup will be heard on a new day at a new hour.

- 26:03Cumberley inviting you to join us July Saith, a week from next Thursday,
- 26:07when we will again bring you right up. This is CBS the Columbia Broadcasting
- 26:17System. Welcome back. It's funny, you know, having Howard mcneir playing
- 26:36the crazy, out there bomber guy. And he's best known for the role
- 26:42of Floyd the Barber on The Andy Griffith Show. Entirely different career over radio.
- 26:51All right, Well, now we move on to listener comments and feedback,
- 26:55and we have a couple of new amterviews, this one from the iTunes
- 27:02store. I love this app. I've been listening via the podcast on iTunes
- 27:06for several months and finally decide to spring for the app. I'm delighted with
- 27:10the functionality. As a thirty something mom of three, I'm increasingly dissatisfied with
- 27:15the entertainment options coming out of Hollywood. Old Time Radio is a great option
- 27:18for my family. The host is very enthusiastic and let's his genuine enjoyment in
- 27:25bringing to life these would be forgotten classic of radio's golden age. I love
- 27:30let George do It. The lineup is my least favorite, as it seems
- 27:33confusing and rambling and as little similarity to today's lineups we see portrait on TV.
- 27:41It's definitely different from a lot of the TV lineups, and I think
- 27:45maybe one of the big reason is the focus on it on getting voice tones,
- 27:52and I'm not certain. I've not yet been able to get a look
- 27:56at the TV episodes of the lineup whether they had so much talking it may
- 28:02have been to add some realism to the radio show. But thanks for your
- 28:07feedback, Rosa and Stan says, I love this app Adam does a great
- 28:11job of hosting this program, and I like the programming and selection of material.
- 28:18Barry emails in says, just wanted to thank you for your many minds
- 28:23of entertainment, love the commentary and the selection of OTR episodes. Once we
- 28:27get into bed, yes Dog two, we get into relax mode to recoup
- 28:32from the stresses of today's world. We set the sleep timer on iPad for
- 28:36one hour and most of the time we said it again anyway, I just
- 28:41wanted to let you know how much we appreciate you in the show. Well,
