We are reminded today that the Lord not only wants to fill our individual lives with His presence and by His Holy Spirit, but He wants to fill our family life too. Now, not all of us have the “nuclear family” as it’s called. Not all of us are in the husband, wife, couple kids, two dogs, three cats, picket fence situation. Nonetheless, wherever we are, whatever our situation, the call of the Holy Spirit is the same: In our day-to-day lives, as we gather with those we call our family, we do so around God’s Word, and in Jesus name, and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
