- 0:14Speaker 4: Chris X.
- 0:17Speaker 5: Radio. Chris X Radio.
- 0:20Speaker 6: What we need right now is a clear message to
- 0:23Speaker 6: the people of this country.
- 0:25Speaker 7: This message must be.
- 0:26Speaker 6: Read in every newspaper, heard on every radio, seen on
- 0:29Speaker 6: every television. This message must resound throughout the entire intelligence.
- 0:34Speaker 3: And now, your host.
- 0:35Speaker 2: I believe this is going to be our finest hour.
- 0:37Speaker 8: Chris X.
- 0:55Speaker 5: Is it warm outside or is it just me? I
- 1:00Speaker 5: think it's a little too warm. At least that's what
- 1:02Speaker 5: I'm going with. Looks like it's about 102 in my area.
- 1:06Speaker 5: That's a little hot. I'm ready for winter. Is winter
- 1:12Speaker 5: here yet? Can we get a cold front in? good
- 1:17Speaker 5: afternoon welcome to chris x radio i'm the aforementioned x-man
- 1:21Speaker 5: glad to have you here on the program as we
- 1:24Speaker 5: have assumed control of the airwaves we will maintain control
- 1:28Speaker 5: of these airwaves for the next couple hours at least
- 1:31Speaker 5: do our best and bring you that gift beyond price
- 1:35Speaker 5: that is almost free ladies and gentlemen we bring you
- 1:37Speaker 5: the spirit of talk radio we got a lot here
- 1:39Speaker 5: on this monday manic monday august 3rd already So that
- 1:45Speaker 5: being said, it is already August 3rd, so it's supposed
- 1:47Speaker 5: to be hot. This time of year, yeah, it tends
- 1:51Speaker 5: to stay hot. But 102 is a little warm for
- 1:58Speaker 5: my blood. It was amazing when I was younger. Until
- 2:02Speaker 5: I was about 50, man, the heat didn't bother me.
- 2:06Speaker 5: I remember when we were kids, we had a summer
- 2:09Speaker 5: where for like, what was it like seven straight day
- 2:11Speaker 5: was 110 degrees. And I remember we were out playing
- 2:14Speaker 5: football on the golf course. Cause we lived on a
- 2:16Speaker 5: golf course and we weren't supposed to be playing football,
- 2:19Speaker 5: but we did. And we did it every day in
- 2:21Speaker 5: the summer. Cause it was 110 degrees. No golfers were
- 2:25Speaker 5: crazy enough to be out on the golf course at
- 2:27Speaker 5: that point. But we were out there playing football. I
- 2:30Speaker 5: look back at that. I'm like, were we insane? Nah,
- 2:34Speaker 5: we were young and skinny, and he didn't bother us
- 2:37Speaker 5: because that's what our parents did. In the summertime, hey, man,
- 2:41Speaker 5: you guys are up. Go outside. Don't come back till dark.
- 2:46Speaker 5: And they were serious. They didn't want us back in
- 2:47Speaker 5: the house until dark. Anyway, glad to have you here.
- 2:50Speaker 5: I'm the aforementioned X-Man here to rock and roll. There's
- 2:53Speaker 5: actually a lot going on today, and we'll get into that. Oh, man.
- 2:57Speaker 5: Of course, if you want to join us, as always, 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738. Okay,
- 3:03Speaker 5: so first and foremost, I want to recognize former Republican
- 3:09Speaker 5: Texas Congresswoman Kay Granger. She was the first Republican woman
- 3:15Speaker 5: from Texas to serve in the U.S. House, has died
- 3:18Speaker 5: at the age of 83. You know, when people start
- 3:22Speaker 5: getting around 83, 84... Unfortunately, that's the time when we
- 3:26Speaker 5: started losing a lot of people. So Kay Granger has
- 3:30Speaker 5: passed away. She served over three decades. She was the
- 3:33Speaker 5: first woman to serve as the mayor of Fort Worth, Texas,
- 3:36Speaker 5: the first Republican woman elected to represent Texas in the U.S.
- 3:40Speaker 5: House of Representatives, and the first Republican woman to chair
- 3:43Speaker 5: the House Appropriations Committee. Rest in peace, Kay Granger. It's
- 3:53Speaker 5: weird because I remember Kay Granger when she got elected.
- 3:58Speaker 5: It doesn't seem that long ago to me. Then again,
- 4:02Speaker 5: things that seem like yesterday were 30 years ago to me,
- 4:06Speaker 5: which means I'm getting old. People in their 80s, I
- 4:11Speaker 5: can only imagine what it seems like. Like, oh, that
- 4:14Speaker 5: was 50 years ago. I graduated from high school 40
- 4:16Speaker 5: years ago. That blows me away because being in high
- 4:20Speaker 5: school seemed like so long. It seemed like we were
- 4:23Speaker 5: in high school forever. I was only in high school
- 4:25Speaker 5: for four years. I didn't serve like some five or
- 4:29Speaker 5: six years. I just was four years in high school.
- 4:33Speaker 5: But it seemed like forever. When you're a kid, your
- 4:36Speaker 5: perspective is a whole lot different. So anyway, so rest
- 4:44Speaker 5: in peace, Kate Granger. Prayers and thoughts go out to
- 4:46Speaker 5: their families and Ms. Granger and I guess that she
- 4:50Speaker 5: was I think maybe she had dementia I'm not sure
- 4:53Speaker 5: she was I think she was in an assisted living
- 4:55Speaker 5: facility so there you go also today by the way
- 4:58Speaker 5: that was just I just want to mention that we
- 5:00Speaker 5: don't really have to talk about unless you want to
- 5:02Speaker 5: uh Democrats don't want you to prove who you are
- 5:04Speaker 5: to vote in this country but Democrats in New York
- 5:07Speaker 5: Mayor Mom Donnie says you need an ID to get
- 5:09Speaker 5: food from their new communist grocery stores I don't really
- 5:17Speaker 5: have much more to go on that. Democrats want you
- 5:22Speaker 5: to present ID to go to their conventions. They want
- 5:24Speaker 5: you to present ID to get everything except voting. Anything
- 5:29Speaker 5: we can do, and that includes what's-her-face, Abby Kamen, going
- 5:33Speaker 5: after the Trump administration on the mail-in ballots. They want
- 5:36Speaker 5: to be able to get mail-in ballots from everywhere. They
- 5:39Speaker 5: generate far too many Democrat votes that way, folks. It's
- 5:42Speaker 5: what they do. By the way, the WNBA is all
- 5:46Speaker 5: in on trans everything. I mean, they're like James Tallarico.
- 5:50Speaker 5: They like trans everything. We protect the trans children. And
- 5:54Speaker 5: the WNBA is all about inclusion.
- 5:57Speaker 9: Really?
- 5:57Speaker 5: Is any professional sport about inclusion? Because last time I checked,
- 6:01Speaker 5: you have to be the best of the best of
- 6:04Speaker 5: the best of the best to be in the MLB,
- 6:06Speaker 5: the NBA, or the WNBA. But because there's a straight, white,
- 6:13Speaker 5: good-looking girl named Sophie Cunningham who says, listen, dude shouldn't
- 6:17Speaker 5: be playing in our league because they take away opportunities
- 6:19Speaker 5: from women.
- 6:20Speaker 8: Oh, no.
- 6:21Speaker 5: Oh, we're all in on the– by the way, where
- 6:23Speaker 5: are all the trans men in the WNBA? Sorry, trans women.
- 6:27Speaker 10: Whatever.
- 6:28Speaker 5: Where's all the trans players? I mean, there may be
- 6:32Speaker 5: that one who just got divorced. You know the one
- 6:35Speaker 5: from the Houston area, Brittany Greiner? You remember her? She
- 6:38Speaker 5: just got– remember when she was in Russia?
- 6:40Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 6:41Speaker 5: And they traded, was the merchant of death for her?
- 6:44Speaker 12: Him?
- 6:44Speaker 13: Her?
- 6:45Speaker 5: I think it's her. Anyway, did that to get her back.
- 6:48Speaker 5: So she got back with her wife that they just
- 6:50Speaker 5: had a kid not too long ago. And then now
- 6:52Speaker 5: they're getting a divorce. It's over. Now, I've seen topless
- 7:03Speaker 5: photos of Brittany Griner playing basketball. Looks just like a
- 7:07Speaker 5: regular dude wearing gym shorts.
- 7:10Speaker 9: Now.
- 7:13Speaker 5: I don't know. I really don't. I don't think because
- 7:17Speaker 5: Brittany's like six inch like six, seven or six, nine
- 7:20Speaker 5: or something. I don't know. But she looks like a dude. Anyway,
- 7:25Speaker 5: but that being said, where are the trans dudes in
- 7:27Speaker 5: the WNBA? We need some trans dudes. Because they hate
- 7:32Speaker 5: a straight, white, pretty woman in their sport. They don't
- 7:36Speaker 5: want that. Anything that we want, we want communist lesbians, okay?
- 7:39Speaker 5: That's the only thing we have room for. And wonder
- 7:42Speaker 5: why nobody watches and nobody cares about these weirdos. So
- 7:46Speaker 5: guess what? That's all you're going to get out of
- 7:47Speaker 5: me on this one? Well, I'll just say this. Stop
- 7:50Speaker 5: voting for communists. They're not even hiding it anymore. I
- 8:01Speaker 5: don't know. That's a hell of a way to start
- 8:04Speaker 5: the show. And guess what? Those are the little brush-off topics.
- 8:06Speaker 5: If we want to talk about it, sure, 281-558-KSEV. But
- 8:10Speaker 5: that's not even really what I had lined up to
- 8:12Speaker 5: talk about today. That's just on my mind as we're
- 8:15Speaker 5: getting in the show. On my mind today is President
- 8:18Speaker 5: Trump said that a deal is imminent with Iran and
- 8:21Speaker 5: negotiations apparently, maybe, began this afternoon over the Strait of
- 8:27Speaker 5: Hormuz and Tehran's nuclear power. or their nuclear program, one
- 8:34Speaker 5: day after he called off what he described as a
- 8:37Speaker 5: potentially massive U.S. attack on Iran. And then Iran came
- 8:41Speaker 5: out and said, no, we're not negotiating with the U.S. Oh, okay,
- 8:46Speaker 5: then we should start bombing the hell out of them again.
- 8:50Speaker 5: Sounds like stall tactics to me. I.
- 8:54Speaker 5: This is where I get frustrated with Trump. I know
- 8:57Speaker 5: I like the way Trump does things usually, but on this,
- 9:00Speaker 5: because this was a war that was, it was ended
- 9:02Speaker 5: in two days. Remember, it was over in two days
- 9:05Speaker 5: when we dismantled their nuclear program and it was over.
- 9:08Speaker 5: And then it was going to take us about four
- 9:10Speaker 5: weeks to clean things up. And here we are six
- 9:11Speaker 5: months in. And even though the country's been decimated, there's
- 9:16Speaker 5: really no end in sight. unless they want to negotiate.
- 9:20Speaker 5: And they keep saying, we're going to get the Strait
- 9:23Speaker 5: of Hormuz open and they're going to agree to it.
- 9:25Speaker 5: But then they say, no, they're not going to do it.
- 9:29Speaker 5: And so wait, is the Strait of Hormuz open? Aren't
- 9:31Speaker 5: we controlling it? Is it open or not? I don't know.
- 9:34Speaker 5: I can't tell because just the talking out of both
- 9:38Speaker 5: sides of his mouth, I just don't know. And I
- 9:40Speaker 5: know Trump, he speaks in, you know, like I said,
- 9:43Speaker 5: that's how he is. That's how he negotiates. But this
- 9:47Speaker 5: is getting a little ridiculous. Getting, gosh darn, ridiculous over here.
- 9:53Speaker 5: So we can get into that. Also, James talarico said
- 9:59Speaker 5: scripture requires the government to guarantee health coverage telling a
- 10:02Speaker 5: texas church crowd that the new testament makes a public
- 10:07Speaker 5: health insurance option a christian obligation it does Oh, it
- 10:15Speaker 5: says in the Bible. Oh, that's right. It's right there
- 10:17Speaker 5: where God says he's non-binary, right next to it. It's
- 10:20Speaker 5: right in the same location. Tallarico made the argument at
- 10:26Speaker 5: a town hall held in DeSoto on July 20th, and
- 10:31Speaker 5: they posted the footage, I guess, titled, James Tallarico Unveils
- 10:35Speaker 5: Plan for Black Voters. Because they got to get black voters,
- 10:39Speaker 5: even though they claim the polls are all saying he's
- 10:42Speaker 5: up by like, well, so now he's up by two points.
- 10:44Speaker 5: He was up by five and then it was three
- 10:47Speaker 5: and now it's two. But then right as we're going
- 10:49Speaker 5: into the program, there was some public opinion poll that
- 10:52Speaker 5: has Tallery go up by five points with the margin
- 10:55Speaker 5: of error about three points. So Ken Paxson ought to
- 11:00Speaker 5: just pack it up and go home. Just give up.
- 11:04Speaker 5: It's time to turn it over to a trans loving weirdo.
- 11:07Speaker 5: Who uses scripture to claim the government should guarantee health
- 11:11Speaker 5: care coverage because it's it's a right. It's not a
- 11:13Speaker 5: privilege because Jesus said so right there in the Bible.
- 11:17Speaker 5: Is that where is it right next to where Jesus
- 11:21Speaker 5: was a radical feminist? The same same look. I don't know.
- 11:25Speaker 5: Just putting questions out there. And supposedly they're saying that
- 11:28Speaker 5: Governor Abbott is tied with Gina Hinojosa. So we may lose,
- 11:33Speaker 5: Governor Abbott may lose his position as governor. They're going
- 11:36Speaker 5: to turn it over, according to the polls, that Gina
- 11:39Speaker 5: Hinojosa is right there. And I know most of you
- 11:42Speaker 5: are going, who? Yeah, she's the candidate. She's the Democrat
- 11:46Speaker 5: nominee who supposedly is tied with Governor Abbott right now.
- 11:52Speaker 14: Hmm.
- 11:55Speaker 5: Does anybody believe that? Governor Abbott has directed the PUCT
- 12:00Speaker 5: and ERCOT to conduct a comprehensive verification and audit of
- 12:04Speaker 5: all data centers before any project moves forward. In fact,
- 12:09Speaker 5: any project that fails to comply with state requirements will
- 12:12Speaker 5: be denied connection to the Texas grid. Now, that's the
- 12:18Speaker 5: Public Utility Commission, along with the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, ERCOT,
- 12:25Speaker 5: They will be conducting a comprehensive verification and audit of
- 12:29Speaker 5: all data centers through ERCOT's interconnection process. And if they
- 12:33Speaker 5: don't get this audit done, they don't pass, they don't
- 12:36Speaker 5: get connection to our grid. They're supposed to be providing
- 12:39Speaker 5: their own electricity. So we shall see how this goes.
- 12:44Speaker 5: And once again, I've listened to the Migos. I heard
- 12:46Speaker 5: their interview, which was similar to the interview that I
- 12:48Speaker 5: had earlier yesterday. last week in the week about the grid.
- 12:54Speaker 5: People need to understand these data centers. They're not the devil.
- 12:58Speaker 5: They're the cloud. Everything that you use your damn smartphone
- 13:01Speaker 5: for or your computers, everything you're doing is dealing with
- 13:05Speaker 5: the cloud because it's not actually a cloud, even though
- 13:08Speaker 5: people probably think it is. It's actually a data center. Okay,
- 13:12Speaker 5: so Marjorie Trailer Green, that's what I call her, Trailer,
- 13:19Speaker 5: Marjorie trailer green trailer green and Thomas Massey and Tucker
- 13:24Speaker 5: Carlson now plan to launch a third party. Oh boy.
- 13:29Speaker 5: That's going to be, can anyone say zero traction? I
- 13:33Speaker 5: knew that you could. We'll drop faster than a lead balloon.
- 13:37Speaker 5: I knew that you could. The armed citizen who pulled
- 13:45Speaker 5: a pistol and engaged the in-and-out mass shooter on Saturday
- 13:48Speaker 5: in Twin Falls, Idaho, is a health care worker who
- 13:51Speaker 5: serves as the caregiver for his brother. According to the
- 13:55Speaker 5: Idaho statesman, the citizen, 35-year-old Jordan Salinas, arrived at the
- 14:00Speaker 5: in-and-out after a morning of horseback riding with his girlfriend.
- 14:04Speaker 5: Upon pulling up onto the restaurant, he saw people running
- 14:06Speaker 5: and thought, maybe it's a kitchen fire, and then he
- 14:09Speaker 5: heard gunshots. So he pulled out his gun, the FN57
- 14:13Speaker 5: pistol with a suppressor, which, by the way, I need
- 14:15Speaker 5: to get a I was shopping for suppressors right before
- 14:19Speaker 5: my show. I need to go look, see where to
- 14:20Speaker 5: get one. I don't see the thing is, is I
- 14:24Speaker 5: know so little about suppressors. Do I have to bring
- 14:26Speaker 5: my AR to them and they'll put it on for
- 14:28Speaker 5: me or do you buy one and then you put
- 14:30Speaker 5: it on? I don't know how this works. Anyway, I
- 14:33Speaker 5: want to get one for when I go hunt hogs
- 14:34Speaker 5: so I don't have to wear the earmuffs or whatever
- 14:37Speaker 5: to keep the volume down. If I can get one
- 14:40Speaker 5: that's quiet, that'd be great, especially for night hunting. If
- 14:43Speaker 5: you're hunting hogs at night, which I've never really done.
- 14:47Speaker 5: So anyway, this guy showed up with his FN 5.7
- 14:53Speaker 5: pistol with a suppressor, fired off a few shots, and
- 14:56Speaker 5: guess what? Shortly things were over. Hey, another case of
- 14:58Speaker 5: a good guy with a gun compared to a bad
- 15:01Speaker 5: guy with a gun. And Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger announced
- 15:08Speaker 5: that her administration is restoring voting rights to more than 66,000
- 15:12Speaker 5: Virginians who have passed felony convictions. Democrats love them some criminals,
- 15:19Speaker 5: whether they're homegrown or illegally here, it don't matter. They
- 15:23Speaker 5: love the criminals far more than they love the victims
- 15:26Speaker 5: or law-abiding American citizens because they want to take away
- 15:29Speaker 5: your ability to defend yourself. and leave you at the
- 15:32Speaker 5: mercy of the wolves. All right, let's take a break. 281-558-KSEV.
- 15:35Speaker 5: I know, we're already up on a break. Can you
- 15:39Speaker 5: believe it? It's crazy talk. We'll take a break. We'll
- 15:43Speaker 5: get some of your phone calls when we come back.
- 15:45Speaker 5: If you want to join us, 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738. Don't you
- 15:47Speaker 5: go anywhere. We're just getting started here on Chris X Radio.

- 19:14Speaker 8: Chris X Radio.
- 19:15Speaker 21: We always make Lucas do the monkey noise.
- 19:41Speaker 5: That's what he has to do. Welcome back to Chris
- 19:43Speaker 5: X Radio. It is your Manic Monday. It's already August 3rd.
- 19:47Speaker 5: And boy, we are headlong into the heat, man. It
- 19:50Speaker 5: is 102 in my area. I don't know how hot
- 19:54Speaker 5: it is in your area, but it's probably not far
- 19:56Speaker 5: off from that. So it's pretty darn warm. So be
- 19:58Speaker 5: safe if you're going to be outside. It's a little
- 20:01Speaker 5: bit hot. But then again, it's this time of year.
- 20:04Speaker 5: These are what we like to call the dog days
- 20:06Speaker 5: of August when it gets really warm. I would say
- 20:09Speaker 5: this is out of the ordinary, but it's not. It's
- 20:13Speaker 5: just hot. Welcome to Texas. You know the joke. There's
- 20:17Speaker 5: a God love Texas so much this time of year.
- 20:19Speaker 5: He says it's so pretty. Let's take a or the sun.
- 20:22Speaker 5: The sun says it loves Texas so much. In fact,
- 20:24Speaker 5: this time of year, let's take a closer look. And boy,
- 20:28Speaker 5: do we feel it. All right. Tell you what, 281-558-KSEV.
- 20:34Speaker 7: 281-558-5738.
- 20:34Speaker 5: Let's go ahead and go to the phones, take some
- 20:37Speaker 5: phone calls, get what's on your mind. 281-558-5738. Let's go
- 20:42Speaker 5: to David listening in River Oaks. David, thank you for
- 20:45Speaker 5: hanging on. Welcome to Chris X Radio. Thanks, Chris.
- 20:48Speaker 22: You know, I look at the president's policy with Iran,
- 20:51Speaker 22: and it's wonderful from a financial point of view if
- 20:54Speaker 22: you own stocks in hydrocarbon companies. So anyone who's owning
- 20:59Speaker 22: stock right now in Chevron, in Shell, in Texaco, you
- 21:04Speaker 22: are cleaning up. I mean, the dividends are going to
- 21:09Speaker 22: be beyond magnificent this year. What I'm hearing from inside
- 21:13Speaker 22: those companies is the bonuses they're already telling people they're
- 21:16Speaker 22: in line for are two to three times already what
- 21:20Speaker 22: they received last year. And what's great is these companies,
- 21:23Speaker 22: which in Texas, if they want to start drilling, It
- 21:25Speaker 22: takes less than 24 hours to get the permit. They're
- 21:29Speaker 22: not starting any new drilling. And so the oil companies
- 21:33Speaker 22: are exporting oil to the most profitable market. The president
- 21:38Speaker 22: is going to fail in Iran. My guess is by
- 21:41Speaker 22: September 1st, we'll have negotiated a peace treaty with Iran.
- 21:45Speaker 22: They'll get to keep their nuclear program. They and Oman
- 21:48Speaker 22: will have a tariff system where they toll every ship
- 21:51Speaker 22: that goes through. And that's it. And we'll leave. And
- 21:56Speaker 22: the president will say we're done. But the American taxpayers
- 21:58Speaker 22: are going to pay for it. Lots of people are
- 22:01Speaker 22: going to profit from this. It's not going to be
- 22:04Speaker 22: regular Americans. And Iran's going to be stronger and more
- 22:08Speaker 22: frightened than it was before all this. And I don't
- 22:11Speaker 22: know at what point Republicans just say this was a disaster.
- 22:15Speaker 22: But I mean, this is the worst foreign policy mistake
- 22:19Speaker 22: in the last 30 years.
- 22:21Speaker 5: Now, David, you've been calling into this program for a
- 22:24Speaker 5: very long time. You've been calling into this program making
- 22:26Speaker 5: all kinds of predictions. I would say all of them,
- 22:29Speaker 5: which from your starting point, seem to have been wrong.
- 22:32Speaker 5: But now we're going to go with you on this
- 22:34Speaker 5: prediction you're making for Iran. Once again, you're not saying
- 22:36Speaker 5: anything about Barack Obama's nuclear deal. Just giving them pallets
- 22:40Speaker 5: of cash didn't seem to deter them from building nuclear weapons.
- 22:43Speaker 5: But you're saying this deal that Trump has done is
- 22:46Speaker 5: going to be terrible and Iran's going to get a
- 22:47Speaker 5: nuclear weapon. It's going to be the end of everybody
- 22:50Speaker 5: because Trump is just so awful. Even though you just
- 22:52Speaker 5: told me how economically people are cleaning up after debating
- 22:56Speaker 5: with you ad nauseum multiple times about how Trump's economic
- 22:59Speaker 5: program was terrible and doesn't work.
- 23:02Speaker 22: OK, so first of all, Obama's policy was working and
- 23:06Speaker 22: then Trump canceled in his first term. So anything happened
- 23:09Speaker 22: after Trump took over is on Trump, right? So anything
- 23:13Speaker 22: they did since then, he told us he bombed everything.
- 23:15Speaker 5: So Obama's policy of giving them pallets of cash in
- 23:17Speaker 5: the middle of the night in the dark, literally cash
- 23:20Speaker 5: billions of dollars, and then just unloading money for them,
- 23:23Speaker 5: you say that was working on stopping their nuclear program?
- 23:27Speaker 7: Yeah, it was.
- 23:28Speaker 22: You know, Chris, honestly, I would much rather bribe someone
- 23:32Speaker 22: than send American kids to die than make it more
- 23:36Speaker 22: expensive for average Americans. We have a long history of
- 23:39Speaker 22: buying off people in other countries. I'm okay with that.
- 23:43Speaker 22: Whatever saves the most money, that's fine. But they weren't
- 23:47Speaker 22: building any nuclear weapons. They were getting inspected. It is really.
- 23:52Speaker 5: Come on, David, come on. You're telling me Iran was
- 23:56Speaker 5: allowing nuclear inspectors in there and then we just went
- 23:58Speaker 5: and took out their nuclear program here just not too
- 24:00Speaker 5: darn long ago, about six months ago, and you're telling
- 24:03Speaker 5: me that that didn't exist during the Obama regime and
- 24:06Speaker 5: that Iran was just abiding by all international rules and
- 24:08Speaker 5: regulations and wasn't attempting to get a nuclear weapon even
- 24:12Speaker 5: though they've been attempting it for, what, 30, 40 years
- 24:14Speaker 5: now at least?
- 24:16Speaker 22: You know, Chris, what it is, having talked to people who.
- 24:21Speaker 22: Have taken part in this stuff? Yes, they were abiding
- 24:23Speaker 22: by it. And here's the way it works, ready? Is
- 24:26Speaker 22: that if you're going to use a nuclear weapon, it's
- 24:28Speaker 22: not the Iranians are going to tell us, hey, we
- 24:30Speaker 22: built a nuclear bomb and we could drop it on
- 24:33Speaker 22: whoever we want to, right? What they're going to do is,
- 24:35Speaker 22: and they've got the land to do it, is you
- 24:37Speaker 22: set off one detonation and then you set off the
- 24:39Speaker 22: second one 72 hours later. That's what everyone's terrified they're
- 24:43Speaker 22: going to do because they're not going to do things surface.
- 24:46Speaker 22: They're going to do it subsurface. And we'll know. We'll
- 24:49Speaker 22: be able to detect it, and we'll be like, okay,
- 24:51Speaker 22: they have the capability. We won't get to see what
- 24:54Speaker 22: their other technology looks like. We just know they can
- 24:56Speaker 22: do it. And once they do that, that's it. That's
- 24:59Speaker 22: the reason we don't attack North Korea. We know every
- 25:01Speaker 22: now and then North Koreans test one in the ground.
- 25:04Speaker 22: Let us know they still have them.
- 25:06Speaker 5: So what you're saying is we should wait until Iran
- 25:08Speaker 5: has a nuclear bomb to do anything about it, is
- 25:10Speaker 5: what you're saying?
- 25:12Speaker 22: I'm saying, unfortunately, the president's policy that started with his
- 25:15Speaker 22: first term, where he canceled– the treaty has meant that
- 25:20Speaker 22: Iran was like, okay, we're going to move forward.
- 25:23Speaker 5: According to you and you alone, you're saying that that
- 25:26Speaker 5: was working.
- 25:26Speaker 10: Uh, that's yeah, absolutely.
- 25:31Speaker 22: But, but Chris, here's the thing. Do you think the
- 25:33Speaker 22: president's policy is working now?
- 25:36Speaker 5: I think it's working better than giving them pallets of cash. Okay.
- 25:41Speaker 22: Well, you know, I think the family of the 18
- 25:43Speaker 22: kids who've died.
- 25:43Speaker 5: So far, How many thousands of Americans have died over
- 25:47Speaker 5: the last 20 years by proxies being funded by the
- 25:50Speaker 5: state of Iran? Sure.
- 25:52Speaker 7: No, absolutely.
- 25:53Speaker 22: Hey, Chris, look, I lost friends when they blew up
- 25:55Speaker 22: the Marine base in Lebanon, and I'm still angry about that.
- 25:58Speaker 7: How many years ago was that, David?
- 26:00Speaker 5: David, how many years ago was that?
- 26:01Speaker 22: That was 1983.
- 26:03Speaker 5: Since then, once again, I'm not discounting what you're saying.
- 26:06Speaker 5: It was a terrible thing. Since then, how many more
- 26:09Speaker 5: thousands of Americans have died? And we don't even have
- 26:12Speaker 5: to go into how many Israelis have died. But once again,
- 26:15Speaker 5: how many thousands of Americans have died at the hands
- 26:18Speaker 5: of proxies or even directly from Iran over the years?
- 26:22Speaker 5: And you're telling me they're just going to follow the
- 26:23Speaker 5: rules while they murder Americans, say death to America and
- 26:26Speaker 5: death to Israel. But other than that, they're going to
- 26:28Speaker 5: follow all the rules. And everything was much better before.
- 26:31Speaker 5: Everything was good then.
- 26:33Speaker 22: So what I'm going to tell you, Chris, is, and
- 26:35Speaker 22: I think you're smarter than this, so I am going
- 26:37Speaker 22: to tell you.
- 26:37Speaker 5: No, you don't insult my intelligence without answering my question.
- 26:40Speaker 5: Answer my question, David.
- 26:41Speaker 22: No, I'm trying to. That's what I'm trying to do
- 26:43Speaker 22: right here.
- 26:43Speaker 5: No, you're trying to insult my intelligence, make me look stupid,
- 26:46Speaker 5: so you look smart, and you're failing.
- 26:49Speaker 22: Chris, look, you're the one who said you're not sure
- 26:51Speaker 22: about the president's policy. Not me. If you think it's
- 26:54Speaker 22: going to be good, then stand on it and be like,
- 26:56Speaker 22: you know, by September 1st, he's got this solved. And
- 26:58Speaker 22: if he doesn't, right, you're like, I was completely wrong.
- 27:03Speaker 22: It just was wrong. But we have lots of governments
- 27:05Speaker 22: that kill Americans.
- 27:06Speaker 5: I haven't made any predictions like you did, David. I'm
- 27:09Speaker 5: just saying I think this policy that he's doing is
- 27:12Speaker 5: actually trying to stop it, something all of our previous
- 27:15Speaker 5: presidents really didn't do. They just sort of postponed it.
- 27:20Speaker 22: Yeah, well, okay. Then it didn't exist if it was postponed, right? Look,
- 27:26Speaker 22: there's a reason that Abbott is suffering right now. There's
- 27:29Speaker 22: a reason that Paxton is suffering right now. They should
- 27:32Speaker 22: be cleaning up in the state of Texas. But the
- 27:34Speaker 22: president is messing up. And, you know, people are like, well,
- 27:38Speaker 22: we're just not going to vote for people who won't
- 27:40Speaker 22: admit he's messing up.
- 27:43Speaker 5: OK, well, thanks for the call, David. Once again, that
- 27:45Speaker 5: may be the case. Then again, most people are low
- 27:47Speaker 5: information voters. And that's generally what we see in a
- 27:50Speaker 5: general primary. Not always. But we're also looking at a
- 27:53Speaker 5: president who won not only the popular vote, but the
- 27:55Speaker 5: Electoral College just a couple of years ago. So it
- 27:59Speaker 5: wasn't that long ago when he's pretty popular and that
- 28:01Speaker 5: could change. And I absolutely agree. Right now, people have
- 28:05Speaker 5: fatigue because the cost of gasoline is high. And until
- 28:09Speaker 5: that goes back down, the low information voters are going
- 28:12Speaker 5: to be upset. If that can get wrangled in here
- 28:14Speaker 5: in the next, I don't know, six, eight weeks, Who
- 28:17Speaker 5: knows what will happen? I don't believe for a second
- 28:20Speaker 5: the polls that say Governor Abbott is tied with Gina Hinojosa.
- 28:24Speaker 5: Gina Hinojosa is sitting on about $ 100, 000, and Governor Abbott
- 28:27Speaker 5: is sitting on $ 90 million. You're telling me that's going
- 28:30Speaker 5: to be a close race? I just highly doubt it.
- 28:33Speaker 5: Governor Abbott plays pretty well with moderates. He plays pretty
- 28:35Speaker 5: well with independents. He plays, obviously, pretty well with Republicans. Yes,
- 28:39Speaker 5: there are Republicans that are upset about Ken Paxton. I
- 28:42Speaker 5: have said repeatedly on the program, you've got to be
- 28:45Speaker 5: very careful when you replace an incumbent on our side
- 28:47Speaker 5: with somebody else because now it's an open seat. So
- 28:50Speaker 5: that makes things very different. But that being said, so
- 28:53Speaker 5: I can understand the polls being a whole lot closer
- 28:55Speaker 5: in that race. But then on everything, um.
- 28:59Speaker 5: You know, I just don't know. And once again, you
- 29:01Speaker 5: made some very lofty predictions. And what I did was
- 29:04Speaker 5: pointed out all the predictions you made on previous phone calls. Now,
- 29:07Speaker 5: it's been a while since you've called in, but I've
- 29:09Speaker 5: got a very good memory. And I remember you calling
- 29:12Speaker 5: me about tariffs and calling me about the president's economic
- 29:15Speaker 5: policy and how terrible it was while Joe Biden absolutely
- 29:18Speaker 5: wrecked our economy. And somehow you're convinced that Barack Obama
- 29:21Speaker 5: was OK and Joe Biden was OK. Yet Donald Trump,
- 29:24Speaker 5: a businessman, was terrible when you just started off the
- 29:27Speaker 5: conversation with how effective it was and the kind of
- 29:30Speaker 5: money people are making. The economy is, well, it's not
- 29:34Speaker 5: getting better nearly quick enough. And I know that the
- 29:36Speaker 5: inflation from the oil prices has definitely affected that. is
- 29:40Speaker 5: it perfect no i'm never going to agree with a
- 29:43Speaker 5: politician 100 and contrary to popular belief well you were
- 29:47Speaker 5: just saying no no doesn't just because i've questioned what
- 29:51Speaker 5: i'm hearing from trump because i know he speaks in
- 29:53Speaker 5: hyperbole and i know like i said i i get
- 29:55Speaker 5: hear him he repeats himself a lot So I hear
- 29:58Speaker 5: him say a lot of things. I can be critical
- 30:00Speaker 5: and not be foolish and make lofty predictions. I don't
- 30:03Speaker 5: know how this is going to work out. But I
- 30:05Speaker 5: do know that President Trump is trying to do things
- 30:08Speaker 5: other presidents refuse to do. They would do a little
- 30:11Speaker 5: bit here or there, but they wouldn't do what he's done.
- 30:12Speaker 5: They've not gone in and did the full regime change thing,
- 30:16Speaker 5: not gone in and bombed them into oblivion, I guess.
- 30:19Speaker 5: So we'll see what happens. He's trying. Clearly, he's trying
- 30:23Speaker 5: to be diplomatic about it. But the Iranians don't really
- 30:26Speaker 5: seem to want to be diplomatic at this point. We
- 30:29Speaker 5: shall see. If your prediction is right, well, then you
- 30:32Speaker 5: can call back in and tell us all how wrong
- 30:34Speaker 5: we were when this happens. We'll see. historically, the Republicans
- 30:38Speaker 5: should get crushed in this midterm. But unfortunately for the
- 30:41Speaker 5: Democrats is they're running insane communist lefties now. They have
- 30:46Speaker 5: moved on into these crazy communist people, these insane weirdos,
- 30:51Speaker 5: and that's who they're pitching. And that makes it a
- 30:53Speaker 5: little harder for the American people to swallow. Now, the
- 30:55Speaker 5: dumb ones, the ones who don't pay attention, will absolutely
- 30:58Speaker 5: swallow and vote for them. Anyone who's got a brain
- 31:01Speaker 5: in their head will not be voting for the clowns
- 31:03Speaker 5: like Tallarico or these other weirdos, the Mamdanis. Save them
- 31:07Speaker 5: for the other places. But dear Lord, if somehow somebody
- 31:11Speaker 5: believes those people, a guy who's opened up communist grocery
- 31:15Speaker 5: stores and forcing them to show ID, yet somehow that's
- 31:19Speaker 5: a better option, that's insane. And I don't think it's
- 31:22Speaker 5: going to work here in Texas. Anyway, thank you for
- 31:24Speaker 5: the call, David. Good to hear back from you. Hadn't
- 31:26Speaker 5: heard from you in a while. 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738. By the way,
- 31:33Speaker 5: I noticed you didn't really want to talk about how
- 31:36Speaker 5: many thousands of Americans had died at the hands of
- 31:39Speaker 5: Iranian proxies over the last 20, 30 years. I noticed
- 31:43Speaker 5: you strategically omitted that part and moved past Beirut as
- 31:46Speaker 5: though like nothing had happened since then. But yeah, a
- 31:50Speaker 5: lot has happened since then. And as whether we agree
- 31:53Speaker 5: with it or not, this Trump administration is showing there
- 31:56Speaker 5: are consequences for actions. And when you say death to America,
- 32:00Speaker 5: it means something, especially while you're trying to develop a
- 32:03Speaker 5: nuclear weapon only because of Donald Trump. He caused it
- 32:06Speaker 5: because Barack Obama, man, when he gave him those pallets
- 32:09Speaker 5: of cash, he really took care of it. That sounds insane.
- 32:13Speaker 5: All right, 281-558-KSCV. We'll be right back.

- 32:42Speaker 24: Do you need money? Want to lower your monthly debt?
- 32:44Speaker 24: Are you thinking about a cash out refinance? Hi, it's
- 32:47Speaker 24: Kathy from Baker Mortgage. A cash out refinance can get
- 32:51Speaker 24: you back in your comfort zone, and that's what it's
- 32:54Speaker 24: all about. A recent client who closed with us had
- 32:57Speaker 24: his payment go up about $ 300, but his monthly outgo
- 33:01Speaker 24: was being reduced by $ 1, 200, so giving him a net
- 33:04Speaker 24: positive cash flow of $ 900. It's not about adding debt,
- 33:08Speaker 24: but restructuring it in a way that makes sense. And
- 33:11Speaker 24: this math totally makes sense. And please don't sweat it
- 33:15Speaker 24: if your interest rate is going up a little or
- 33:17Speaker 24: if you're extending the term. I can show you by
- 33:20Speaker 24: taking a small amount of what you're saving monthly and
- 33:23Speaker 24: applying it towards your mortgage, you're gonna pay it off
- 33:25Speaker 24: just as quickly and you'll be way ahead in the
- 33:28Speaker 24: money game, which is where we all wanna be, right? Remember,

- 34:14Speaker 15: At 281-441-4179 and let him explain how this problem can
- 34:19Speaker 15: be minimized with professional pruning. You see, when the tree

- 34:24Speaker 15: completely blown over and tree limbs broken. causing terrible damage

- 35:10Speaker 1: humidity remaining and a low of 79. As for Wednesday,
- 35:13Speaker 1: anticipate mostly sunny skies and continued warmth with a high
- 35:16Speaker 1: of 97. Thursday will be partly sunny with a chance
- 35:19Speaker 1: of a few brief showers in the afternoon and a
- 35:22Speaker 1: high of 93. With the KSCV Weather Center forecast, I'm
- 35:25Speaker 1: AccuWeather meteorologist Jason Catarina.
- 35:33Speaker 8: And now, back to Chris X Radio on The Voice
- 35:36Speaker 8: of Texas.
- 35:48Speaker 26: All right, welcome back to Chris X Radio.
- 35:59Speaker 5: I'm the aforementioned X-Man. Glad to have you here with
- 36:01Speaker 5: us as we are rocking and rolling here through the
- 36:04Speaker 5: 4 p.m.
- 36:04Speaker 7: Hour.
- 36:04Speaker 5: Don't you go anywhere. We control the broadcast from 4
- 36:07Speaker 5: until 6 p.m. We do this each Monday through Thursday.
- 36:10Speaker 5: And then we turn it over to the Amigos who
- 36:12Speaker 5: had a great show on Friday. Man, I was enjoying
- 36:15Speaker 5: their banter. Ben had a good show. Well, the judge
- 36:21Speaker 5: wasn't there. So I think Ben stays in a better
- 36:24Speaker 5: mood when the judge isn't around. Just really kind of
- 36:27Speaker 5: really poking his ire, I guess. Anyway, welcome back to
- 36:31Speaker 5: the program. If you want to join us, 281-558-KSEV.
- 36:33Speaker 24: 281-558-5738.
- 36:35Speaker 5: Okay, so I want to go back to David who
- 36:39Speaker 5: just called in. I hadn't heard from David in a while.
- 36:41Speaker 5: So it's good to hear from you, David. I appreciate
- 36:43Speaker 5: the fact that you're still listening and tuning in. And
- 36:45Speaker 5: I appreciate your phone calls. I didn't appreciate your... It's
- 36:48Speaker 5: not so subtle attempt to show how stupid I am
- 36:51Speaker 5: and how smart you are. But once again, I don't
- 36:53Speaker 5: think you necessarily do that out of malice. I think
- 36:56Speaker 5: you do it out of trying to give yourself a
- 36:58Speaker 5: little bit more credence. And I'm not saying that you're
- 37:00Speaker 5: going to be completely wrong on your prediction. No one
- 37:03Speaker 5: can predict the future. I can't predict it. I have
- 37:06Speaker 5: an idea, but your strategic remembrance of things doesn't quite
- 37:11Speaker 5: add up. You're telling me that Iran, because Barack Obama
- 37:17Speaker 5: dumped pallets of cash in an unmarked plane in the
- 37:20Speaker 5: middle of the night in Iran and opened up was
- 37:22Speaker 5: $ 150 billion or whatever, somehow deterred Iran from developing a
- 37:30Speaker 5: nuclear weapon. They abandoned their nuclear process and were behaving,
- 37:34Speaker 5: even though the statistics will show that they were currently
- 37:37Speaker 5: in the process of funding proxies and murdering innocent Americans
- 37:42Speaker 5: at every opportunity. And of course, funding Hezbollah and trying
- 37:46Speaker 5: to murder innocent Israelis and Americans over there. That's what
- 37:50Speaker 5: they do. So they were murdering American citizens while calling
- 37:53Speaker 5: America the great Satan. But at that point, they weren't
- 37:56Speaker 5: trying to. No, no, no, no, no. They stopped because
- 37:59Speaker 5: Barack Obama was just such a lovely guy and he
- 38:02Speaker 5: paid him off. As you said, was kind of like
- 38:03Speaker 5: a bribe. So you can bribe terrorists. Now, that's not
- 38:10Speaker 5: how the world works, David. Listen, I know you know
- 38:11Speaker 5: people and you talk to people and they explain things,
- 38:14Speaker 5: but depending on who you're talking to is depending on
- 38:16Speaker 5: what you're going to get. And if you talk to
- 38:18Speaker 5: nothing but leftists, you get left-wing ideology, left-wing propaganda. And
- 38:24Speaker 5: it sounds like, even though I don't think you're necessarily
- 38:27Speaker 5: a left winger, but it seems like that's all you do.
- 38:29Speaker 5: Maybe you're just a TDS sufferer or just hate Trump
- 38:32Speaker 5: because Trump somehow caused Iran to be securing a nuclear weapon.
- 38:38Speaker 5: That wasn't going to happen had Barack Obama been president
- 38:41Speaker 5: for life. If we had just made him president forever,
- 38:43Speaker 5: we would have never had to worry about Iran again.
- 38:47Speaker 5: How many Americans died during his administration at the hands
- 38:51Speaker 5: of Iran or Iranian proxies? How many? I'm going to
- 38:55Speaker 5: say more than 18. I hate the fact that anyone
- 39:01Speaker 5: ever dies in conflict. I hate it. I hate the
- 39:04Speaker 5: fact that anyone ever dies on anything. I really hate it.
- 39:09Speaker 5: But I do understand when someone tells you they want
- 39:13Speaker 5: you dead, you need to listen to them. You can't
- 39:16Speaker 5: ignore them for political purposes. And then you can't ignore
- 39:19Speaker 5: the facts to make your point. That was why you
- 39:22Speaker 5: didn't want to talk about it. Because I know you're
- 39:24Speaker 5: a smart guy. But those numbers don't help your argument.
- 39:32Speaker 5: And it was very clever. You start off praising Trump
- 39:34Speaker 5: by what he did economically and how these people are
- 39:36Speaker 5: killing it. They're making a lot of money. And this
- 39:38Speaker 5: is really good, even though on previous phone calls, you
- 39:41Speaker 5: told me how Trump doesn't know what he's doing. It's
- 39:43Speaker 5: going to be terrible. And that wasn't going to happen.
- 39:44Speaker 5: But here it is, the exact opposite of what you
- 39:46Speaker 5: espoused on previous phone calls. And then now I've got
- 39:49Speaker 5: to take your prediction on Iran that Iran, when this
- 39:52Speaker 5: is done, Iran's going to have a nuclear weapon and
- 39:54Speaker 5: the U.S. is going to be toast and it's all
- 39:56Speaker 5: going to be terrible. And I have no doubt that
- 40:00Speaker 5: if we did nothing, for sure Iran would definitely have
- 40:02Speaker 5: gotten a nuclear weapon. They would have one when this
- 40:04Speaker 5: is said and done. They still may do it. They
- 40:07Speaker 5: don't seem to want to behave. They don't seem to
- 40:09Speaker 5: want to play along with the international community. Not just America.
- 40:14Speaker 5: That's why every time we bomb them, they bomb their neighbors.
- 40:21Speaker 5: And they would love to kill as many Americans as
- 40:23Speaker 5: they possibly could. If they had a nuclear bomb and
- 40:25Speaker 5: had the ability, they would drop one right in the
- 40:28Speaker 5: center of our country and try to nuke it off
- 40:29Speaker 5: the planet. Any thought that they wouldn't try to do
- 40:37Speaker 5: something like that is simply foolish. You don't understand the
- 40:41Speaker 5: ideology that has controlled Iran for how many years now?
- 40:45Speaker 5: Remember what Iran was like before the Islamic takeover? The
- 40:50Speaker 5: radical Islamic takeover? Do you remember what women used to
- 40:52Speaker 5: wear in that country? And how people used to look?
- 40:55Speaker 5: And how it used to be? And it's not that
- 40:57Speaker 5: way anymore. And if we don't pay attention, it'll be
- 41:00Speaker 5: that way in our country too. And maybe you would
- 41:02Speaker 5: like it better that way. I don't know. I don't
- 41:04Speaker 5: know how you really feel. But I kind of like
- 41:09Speaker 5: my freedom. I don't want to be forced... by radical
- 41:13Speaker 5: Islamofascists to cater to not only a regime, but an
- 41:18Speaker 5: ideology that is antithetical to everything that I stand for.
- 41:22Speaker 5: And I don't think we should either. And I damn
- 41:24Speaker 5: sure don't think we should just sit here and allow
- 41:26Speaker 5: countries like Iran to continue doing what they're doing. And
- 41:30Speaker 5: that is funding Hezbollah and attacking Israel, one of our allies.
- 41:34Speaker 5: I know, if I remember correctly, I don't think you
- 41:37Speaker 5: like the Jews very much. So it's one of those cases.
- 41:39Speaker 5: But I know that the reality is they're actually you know,
- 41:42Speaker 5: a democracy over the middle East. And we probably should
- 41:45Speaker 5: kind of, you know, work, work on behalf of our
- 41:47Speaker 5: allies instead of our enemies, the ones that want us
- 41:51Speaker 5: dead because they're, they want us dead. I don't know
- 41:58Speaker 5: how this is going to play out. I know that
- 42:01Speaker 5: president Trump's in negotiations, you know, a deal is imminent
- 42:03Speaker 5: because Trump is always the art of the deal. He's
- 42:06Speaker 5: always working for a deal. and this will be over
- 42:08Speaker 5: the Strait of Hormuz in Tehran, and I pointed out
- 42:10Speaker 5: how Trump was, he said, you know, once again, this was,
- 42:12Speaker 5: they took out their nuclear program in two days, and
- 42:15Speaker 5: it's going to be done in about four weeks, and
- 42:16Speaker 5: here we are six months later. It's clearly not going
- 42:19Speaker 5: as fast as I would have liked it to be,
- 42:21Speaker 5: just like the war that was going to be over
- 42:24Speaker 5: in Ukraine and Russia on day one when he took over.
- 42:26Speaker 5: He said that, too. Didn't quite turn out that way.
- 42:29Speaker 9: Why?
- 42:30Speaker 5: Because, believe it or not, we're actually not in control
- 42:34Speaker 5: of everything. We have to deal with these terrorist a-holes,
- 42:37Speaker 5: these rogue nations, these communists that really don't care. They
- 42:41Speaker 5: will murder you and your family to get what they want.
- 42:44Speaker 5: And that includes you too, David. I know you don't
- 42:46Speaker 5: think so, but it does. Anyway, but I always appreciate
- 42:50Speaker 5: your phone call. It's always a good conversation. 281-558-KSEV if
- 42:54Speaker 5: you want to join us. 281-558-5738. Here, before we have
- 42:58Speaker 5: to break, let's go ahead and take a break and
- 43:00Speaker 5: we'll come back, pick up with Chris out in spring. Chris,
- 43:03Speaker 5: hold on. You'll be up next. Looks like we got
- 43:07Speaker 5: maybe Rick as well. I know a lot of people
- 43:12Speaker 5: think that because you criticize someone or I'm critical of
- 43:16Speaker 5: what they're doing or what they're saying simply means I
- 43:19Speaker 5: don't know exactly what the strategy is. I'm being a
- 43:21Speaker 5: little critical. No, I have not given up on President Trump.
- 43:24Speaker 5: I think he's doing a better job than most of
- 43:28Speaker 5: the presidents we've had in my lifetime. Is he perfect? No,
- 43:31Speaker 5: far from it. Never thought he would be. but I
- 43:37Speaker 5: still support them darn sure more than any damn Democrat.
- 43:41Speaker 5: My God. I lived through those administrations. It's awful. 281-558-KSEB.
- 43:46Speaker 5: We'll be right back.
- 43:53Speaker 3: The revolution continues after this. Chris X Radio.
- 43:58Speaker 5: Chris X Radio. When it comes to garage stores, no
- 44:02Speaker 5: one knows more.

- 44:04Speaker 12: Garage store doctor We got a call late New Year's Eve.
- 44:08Speaker 12: A father with big plans for his family the next

- 46:20Speaker 11: The Tejas Roofing crew has been working together fixing leaky

- 46:25Speaker 28: It's not a pretty truck, but it has everything we
- 46:27Speaker 28: need to get the job done. I kind of like
- 46:28Speaker 28: the way it looks.
- 46:29Speaker 11: Most roofing repairs cost less than $ 500.

- 46:33Speaker 11: Because we find the cause of the leak and repair

- 47:03Speaker 8: And now, we return you to your regularly scheduled dose
- 47:06Speaker 8: of common sense. Chris X Radio.
- 47:09Speaker 3: Chris X Radio.
- 47:11Speaker 6: There's gonna love me some.
- 47:17Speaker 7: Never long.
- 47:20Speaker 5: Welcome back to Chris X Radio. I'm the aforementioned X-Man.
- 47:24Speaker 5: Let's wrap up this first hour. Don't go anywhere. We've
- 47:25Speaker 5: got hour number two coming right back at you. But
- 47:28Speaker 5: I want to go ahead and jump right to the phones,
- 47:30Speaker 5: get a few more of your phone calls at 281-558-KSEB, 281-558-5738.
- 47:36Speaker 5: Let's go to Chris, who's been patiently holding in spring. Chris,
- 47:38Speaker 5: thank you for hanging on. Welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 47:42Speaker 7: Thank you very much, sir.
- 47:43Speaker 2: It's an honor. Yeah, we haven't heard from that gentleman
- 47:45Speaker 2: in a very long time and what a very unimpressive
- 47:48Speaker 2: phone call. He also forgot to mention something called the
- 47:52Speaker 2: Trump account. I think 7 million people have signed up
- 47:55Speaker 2: for that. They're going to be able to get involved
- 47:58Speaker 2: in these equity markets. So the mendacity from these leftists really,
- 48:03Speaker 2: really needs to stop. And I do appreciate you not
- 48:07Speaker 2: getting caught up in the Paxton fever here. We know
- 48:10Speaker 2: what the statists are going to do. They're going to
- 48:12Speaker 2: run articles and say Texas is up for grabs. Texas
- 48:15Speaker 2: is not up for grabs. This is a supermajority state.
- 48:18Speaker 2: And it's going to stay that way.
- 48:20Speaker 15: Thank you, buddy.
- 48:22Speaker 5: Thank you for the call, Chris. I appreciate it. Listen,
- 48:24Speaker 5: I'll give the Democrats at the Paxner races a little closer,
- 48:27Speaker 5: but they told us the race between him and John
- 48:29Speaker 5: Cornyn was close, too, until he literally smoked John Cornyn by,
- 48:33Speaker 5: what was it, 24, 27 points. So take the polls
- 48:36Speaker 5: for what they are. The polls are conducted by left-wingers
- 48:39Speaker 5: talking with left-wingers by left-wingers. So exactly right. There's no
- 48:44Speaker 5: way anyone is going to convince me right now that
- 48:46Speaker 5: Gina Hinojosa is tied with Governor Abbott in his reelection bid.
- 48:51Speaker 5: There's just no way. You might have got me on
- 48:54Speaker 5: the other one with the Paxson stuff, but you're not
- 48:56Speaker 5: going to get me on that one. It's ridiculous. Thank
- 48:58Speaker 5: you for the call, Chris. Always great to hear from you. 281-558-KSEV.
- 49:03Speaker 5: Let's go to Rick listening in West Houston. Rick, thank
- 49:05Speaker 5: you for hanging on. Welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 49:09Speaker 7: Hey, Chris. First time caller. Listen, just about every day
- 49:13Speaker 7: when I can, commuting home, I just want to speak
- 49:17Speaker 7: to the people that are whining. about gas prices. That's
- 49:21Speaker 7: number one. It's the best deal in town right now
- 49:25Speaker 7: at $ 3.
- 49:26Speaker 5: 55.
- 49:26Speaker 7: I've worked for an oil field service company for 52 years.
- 49:33Speaker 7: Still get up and go to work every day. There's
- 49:37Speaker 7: nothing more high-tech than going to the moon than there
- 49:42Speaker 7: is drilling for oil. It's the cheapest thing out there.
- 49:47Speaker 7: A gallon of milk is about the same price as
- 49:50Speaker 7: a gallon of gasoline. And all you got to do
- 49:53Speaker 7: is throw some feed out there and stick a hose
- 49:55Speaker 7: on the end of a cow's tit. Then you go
- 49:58Speaker 7: down there. It's just amazing how people are spoiled.
- 50:02Speaker 5: I'm laughing at your terminology, by the way, Rick. I
- 50:05Speaker 5: enjoy the comment. People are spoiled.
- 50:08Speaker 7: They're spoiled.
- 50:10Speaker 29: There's nothing.
- 50:11Speaker 7: I tell you, economy's fine for me. I get up
- 50:15Speaker 7: and go to work every day. If you ain't going
- 50:16Speaker 7: to work every day, the economy's probably pretty bad.
- 50:18Speaker 5: That's a good point.
- 50:21Speaker 7: You know what I'm saying? So the damn whining needs
- 50:25Speaker 7: to stop. This president, I voted for him every time.
- 50:29Speaker 7: The first time he was in office, it was two
- 50:32Speaker 7: impeachments on lies by the Democratic Party. The guy that
- 50:37Speaker 7: got in after him Somebody was running the show, but
- 50:41Speaker 7: it wasn't him. And they drove us over a cliff.
- 50:45Speaker 7: This man that's in the White House now is trying
- 50:47Speaker 7: his best to get this economy back and get this
- 50:51Speaker 7: country straightened out. Yep, he's prosecuting a war right now.
- 50:55Speaker 7: Thank God. I got grandchildren. I hope that they don't
- 51:01Speaker 7: have to grow up 15, 20, 30, 40 years from
- 51:05Speaker 7: now with the threat of a nuclear weapon coming to
- 51:08Speaker 7: the United States. hopefully the next presidents and the one
- 51:11Speaker 7: after him and the one after him will continue to prosecute.
- 51:17Speaker 7: So that's all I got to say. I just get
- 51:19Speaker 7: so tired of the people whining.
- 51:22Speaker 5: Thank you for the call, Rick. First of all, I
- 51:23Speaker 5: appreciate you listening and also being a first time caller.
- 51:25Speaker 5: So I'm glad to have you here as a first
- 51:27Speaker 5: time caller on the program. Appreciate you being fired up
- 51:30Speaker 5: enough to call in. And I agree. The Democrat Party
- 51:32Speaker 5: is a bunch of whiners. Why are they whining? They're
- 51:35Speaker 5: going to push misinformation, disinformation and lies in order to
- 51:39Speaker 5: regain power so they can go back to instituting their
- 51:42Speaker 5: communist principles because that's who they're run by. Communists now.
- 51:47Speaker 5: If so, once again, anybody to go in and to
- 51:49Speaker 5: somehow equate that Donald Trump is somehow worse than electing
- 51:54Speaker 5: a communist. Listen, I can't reason with that kind of stupidity.
- 51:58Speaker 5: I mean, I really can't. I agree with you. In fact,
- 52:00Speaker 5: I voted for Donald Trump all three times. I'm looking
- 52:04Speaker 5: forward to voting for him in the next election to Trump.
- 52:06Speaker 5: Twenty eight. Twenty eight. I love I keeps trolling them
- 52:11Speaker 5: with that. But no, the point you just made, once again,
- 52:16Speaker 5: he's not perfect. Why are we going to hold him
- 52:18Speaker 5: to the perfect standard that we won't hold anyone to,
- 52:20Speaker 5: especially the communist? Because that's what Democrats are very good at.
- 52:26Speaker 5: They're gaslighters. They gaslight the F out of everyone. They
- 52:32Speaker 5: gaslight the entire country so they can protect criminals, illegal criminals, murderers, rapists, thugs.
- 52:40Speaker 5: They will gaslight an entire nation in order to get
- 52:43Speaker 5: what they want. You don't believe me? There's a guy
- 52:46Speaker 5: named Dr. Fauci who pled the fifth 111 times after what?
- 52:52Speaker 5: This guy was dictating policy in our country. under the
- 52:57Speaker 5: last part of the year of the first Trump administration,
- 53:02Speaker 5: to make sure, and by the way, we can go
- 53:04Speaker 5: read his diary. He hated Trump. He couldn't wait to
- 53:06Speaker 5: get rid of him so he could get Joe Biden.
- 53:09Speaker 5: And then they could try to fine you for not
- 53:10Speaker 5: getting a vaccine that didn't do any good. Well, I'm sorry,
- 53:13Speaker 5: that didn't prevent you from catching a disease or spreading
- 53:16Speaker 5: a disease while they lied about it constantly. They wanted
- 53:20Speaker 5: you fired. They wanted you quarantined. They wanted full communism.
- 53:25Speaker 5: and damn near got it. Hour number two is up next.
- 53:28Speaker 5: Thank you for the call, Rick.
- 53:30Speaker 16: I appreciate it.

- 53:43Speaker 31: News this hour from Town Hall, I'm Keith Peters in Washington.
- 53:48Speaker 31: Some residents returned to devastated neighborhoods in eastern Washington state
- 53:52Speaker 31: to find their homes leveled by wildfires that erupted across
- 53:56Speaker 31: a parched landscape over the weekend. Adjutant General Gent Welsh
- 54:00Speaker 31: of the Washington National Guard says he's seen a lot
- 54:02Speaker 31: and the damage in Spokane is bad.
- 54:05Speaker 9: I can tell you today that that's a war zone.
- 54:08Speaker 9: When you finally get in there and you finally look
- 54:10Speaker 9: at the devastation and damage, it's devastating. It's going to
- 54:16Speaker 9: be pretty interesting as people go in there and just
- 54:20Speaker 9: grapple with the damage and grapple with the fact that
- 54:23Speaker 9: their lives are forever changed.
- 54:25Speaker 8: Some of these folks may not recover.
- 54:27Speaker 5: Some of those folks may.
- 54:28Speaker 9: Not rebuild in there. And it's going to be, I
- 54:31Speaker 9: would say, a very significant emotional event for this community.
- 54:35Speaker 31: Light winds and lower temperatures arrived Monday to help firefighters,
- 54:38Speaker 31: but at least 600 buildings have been destroyed. and some 67,000
- 54:43Speaker 31: people were under evacuation orders. No deaths have been reported. Meanwhile,
- 54:48Speaker 31: Europe's raging wildfires continue to wreak havoc on that continent.
- 54:52Speaker 32: Two firefighting helicopters battling a major blaze west of Athens
- 54:56Speaker 32: in Greece has left two crew members dead. Greece's fire
- 55:01Speaker 32: department also confirmed another two crew members were recovered alive.
- 55:06Speaker 32: Fire officials said the dead crew members were one Greek
- 55:09Speaker 32: and one Danish national, while the two who were recovered
- 55:12Speaker 32: alive were one Greek and one British national. Further west,
- 55:15Speaker 32: France's largest wildfire remained held within its perimeter after forcing 224,000
- 55:22Speaker 32: people to flee. Over the past four decades, wildfires have
- 55:26Speaker 32: been linked to to nearly 800 deaths across much of Europe.
- 55:30Speaker 32: I'm Karen Chamath.

- 56:53Speaker 8: From KSEV, here's political contributor Ben Strewsand.
- 56:57Speaker 25: Most polling shows that Republicans are going to have a
- 57:01Speaker 25: tough time winning majorities in both houses of Congress in November.
- 57:05Speaker 25: Voters blame Trump for inflation and believe that many of
- 57:09Speaker 25: the necessities they need to purchase have become unaffordable.
- 57:13Speaker 33: Two out of three.
- 57:13Speaker 25: Voters don't believe that preventing Iran from building a nuclear
- 57:17Speaker 25: weapon is worth the higher gas prices that they are paying.
- 57:21Speaker 25: Voters never give a president credit for preventing bad things
- 57:25Speaker 25: like a nuclear war from happening. President Trump should realize
- 57:29Speaker 25: by now that the Islamic Republic will never agree to
- 57:32Speaker 25: a deal that results in a Trump win. The mullahs
- 57:35Speaker 25: read the polls and see the domestic political pressure to
- 57:38Speaker 25: end the war.
- 57:39Speaker 33: It's part of their strategy. We should stop.
- 57:41Speaker 25: Chasing a bad deal. This does not mean that we
- 57:45Speaker 25: should resume unlimited airstrikes, but rather targeted decapitation strikes against
- 57:51Speaker 25: their leadership, as the Israelis used effectively. If Iranian leaders
- 57:55Speaker 25: won't cut a deal, Then let's get new ones.
- 57:58Speaker 33: The real leverage we have against Iran is economic.
- 58:02Speaker 25: We destroyed what Iran took decades to build, their defense
- 58:06Speaker 25: industrial base used to manufacture drones, missiles, and nuclear weapons.
- 58:12Speaker 33: Inflation in Iran is running at 40%.
- 58:15Speaker 25: The blockade collapsed the revenue stream used by the Revolutionary
- 58:20Speaker 25: Guard Corps, their security.
- 58:22Speaker 33: Services, and all the government infrastructure.
- 58:25Speaker 25: If our blockade is allowed to continue and not stopped
- 58:29Speaker 25: by Democrats and a few lame-duck Republicans in Congress, we
- 58:34Speaker 25: can eliminate the mullahs' leverage over its people. We don't
- 58:38Speaker 25: need regime change to pressure them into a better deal
- 58:42Speaker 25: for us.
- 58:43Speaker 33: Just perseverance.
- 58:45Speaker 25: Intercepting what leaks out via Iran's shadow tanker fleet.
- 58:48Speaker 33: Will speed the process. The best guess is this pressure
- 58:52Speaker 33: will take.
- 58:53Speaker 25: Six months to show results, right around the time of
- 58:57Speaker 25: the elections.
- 58:58Speaker 33: I'm Ben Strewsand, and that's my view.
- 59:03Speaker 8: Ben Strewsand, only on AM700 KSEV.
- 59:10Speaker 15: Thank goodness our weather experts are providing us with hurricane
- 59:13Speaker 15: tracking charts and reminding us to be prepared for big storms.
- 59:17Speaker 15: But they overlook one very important thing, the damage and
- 59:19Speaker 15: destruction from broken limbs and uprooted trees. Call Lewis Flory
- 59:23Speaker 15: at Ability Tree Experts today.
- 59:25Speaker 17: My friend for nearly 40 years. At 281-441-4179 and let
- 59:30Speaker 17: him explain how this problem can be minimized with professional pruning.
- 59:34Speaker 17: You see, when the tree canopy is too thick and dense,
- 59:36Speaker 17: the tree can be completely blown over and tree limbs broken,
- 59:40Speaker 17: causing terrible damage to the tree and maybe your home.
- 59:43Speaker 17: Where tree limbs break, sap will ooze and that attracts
- 59:46Speaker 17: harmful insects. So you need to call Lewis Flory today
- 59:50Speaker 17: at 281-441-4179. and have his experts come out and professionally
- 59:56Speaker 17: prune your trees to withstand sudden storms that are so
- 1:00:00Speaker 17: frequent this time of year. Visit their website at AbilityTrees.com.
- 1:00:03Speaker 17: That's 281-441-4179. Ability Tree Experts, Houston's leading tree care professional.
- 1:00:16Speaker 18: Launch Control, this is Houston.
- 1:00:17Speaker 8: We are going to launch. Five, four, three, two, one.
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: It's Chris X Radio.
- 1:00:29Speaker 8: Chris X Radio.
- 1:00:31Speaker 6: What we need right now is a clear message to
- 1:00:34Speaker 6: the people of this country. This message must be read
- 1:00:37Speaker 6: in every newspaper, heard on every radio, seen on every television.
- 1:00:41Speaker 6: This message must resound throughout the entire intelligence.
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: And now, your host.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: I believe this is going to be our finest hour.
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: Man, it's already the second hour. good evening and welcome
- 1:01:12Speaker 5: to the second hour of Chris X radio glad to
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: have you here with us as we are rocking our
- 1:01:16Speaker 5: way up until 6 p.m. as we do each Monday
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: through Thursday 4 to 6 p.m. here right on the
- 1:01:21Speaker 5: voice of Texas oh man we had a lot of
- 1:01:24Speaker 5: good phone calls in the first hour I guess triggered
- 1:01:27Speaker 5: a nerve how dare I be critical of Donald Trump
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: and it's funny because I didn't the people that are
- 1:01:33Speaker 5: supporting Trump weren't Somebody took that as an opportunity to
- 1:01:38Speaker 5: try to disclaim that Trump is the root of all
- 1:01:40Speaker 5: evil in the world and everything's terrible. But then Rick
- 1:01:44Speaker 5: called in and rained a little common sense all over
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: everybody's parade. Well, of course, also Chris called in too,
- 1:01:51Speaker 5: so Chris always rains a little sense on people's parade.
- 1:01:55Speaker 5: All right, anyway, welcome to the second hour of the program.
- 1:01:57Speaker 5: It is our Manic Monday edition of the program, August
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: 3rd already. First of all, this year is flying by.
- 1:02:04Speaker 5: Do you remember when the year started? We were talking
- 1:02:08Speaker 5: like January. I was like, man, it's already 2026. And
- 1:02:11Speaker 5: we'll be 2027 before you know it. And we're already
- 1:02:15Speaker 5: in August, August 3rd of 2026. My Lord, the time flies.
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: I can't believe how quickly it goes. Which, by the way,
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: I got to meet up with Jay Streckfus over at
- 1:02:29Speaker 5: Humble Amco last The other night, I got to go
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: hang out with him for a little bit. Had a
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: little gringos action. There's a couple reasons. One, I wanted
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: to meet up with him. Two, to catch up on things.
- 1:02:40Speaker 5: But also, I'm at almost 114,000 miles on my truck.
- 1:02:45Speaker 5: Had my oil changed over the weekend. And they were
- 1:02:47Speaker 5: recommending that I don't go for the basic stuff over
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: at Umbilamco. like oil change, whatever, anyone can do that.
- 1:02:54Speaker 5: So I went over there and then they came back
- 1:02:55Speaker 5: in with the recommendations of like the full system, the
- 1:02:59Speaker 5: fuel system flush, flushing all of the fluids, I guess,
- 1:03:05Speaker 5: and putting in new fluids and new spark plugs. And
- 1:03:08Speaker 5: the total was 800 and something dollars they were willing.
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: And I went in for an oil change and I
- 1:03:13Speaker 5: had a coupon for the oil change. I went, that's
- 1:03:18Speaker 5: a little steep for me. I'm going to have to
- 1:03:19Speaker 5: get back to you on that. So I ended up
- 1:03:22Speaker 5: going and meeting with Jay and I'll be taking my
- 1:03:24Speaker 5: truck over to him for the hundred thousand mile. I
- 1:03:28Speaker 5: don't know if it's a tune up. I don't know
- 1:03:29Speaker 5: what you call it, but I'll get some new plugs
- 1:03:32Speaker 5: and maybe the fuel system flush and all of that stuff.
- 1:03:35Speaker 5: I haven't had any issues with my truck whatsoever. Knock
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: on wood, knocking on wood. But if you need your
- 1:03:43Speaker 5: vehicle worked on, boy, Jay's great. He likes to take
- 1:03:46Speaker 5: care of people. Always tell him that I referred you,
- 1:03:48Speaker 5: by the way, so he'll know where you're coming from. But, yeah,
- 1:03:51Speaker 5: like I said, I'm not going to– if I can
- 1:03:54Speaker 5: help it, I'm not going to have anybody else working
- 1:03:55Speaker 5: on my vehicle other than Jay. But, once again, I
- 1:03:58Speaker 5: don't need any real work done. Well, let me rephrase that.
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: It's work. But it's not like I have a problem.
- 1:04:03Speaker 5: It's just time to do something. Like I said, I
- 1:04:06Speaker 5: love my Ford Ranger. I got it in 2019. I've
- 1:04:10Speaker 5: got 114,000 miles on it, and it's been running like
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: a top. Knock on wood. I've only had one time
- 1:04:17Speaker 5: the light came on. It was the temperature. So the
- 1:04:19Speaker 5: temperature is getting too hot. I'm like, oh, geez. And
- 1:04:22Speaker 5: it was right after my last oil change. So I
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: took it to Jay and Jay popped the hood. He
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: looked at it and he popped the, I guess, the
- 1:04:31Speaker 5: little fluid container. When he did it, that's when the
- 1:04:34Speaker 5: heat escaped. And he goes, you may have a faulty
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: lid or maybe they didn't tighten it good enough. And
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: put the fluids in. Haven't had a problem since. That
- 1:04:44Speaker 5: was literally the only issue I've ever had with my vehicle.
- 1:04:47Speaker 5: So he took care of that literally in five minutes.
- 1:04:50Speaker 5: And haven't had an issue since. It's been great because
- 1:04:54Speaker 5: apparently the guys didn't close it well enough. So I'll
- 1:04:56Speaker 5: keep my eye on it. But I'm going to take
- 1:04:58Speaker 5: it in probably this week or next week at the latest.
- 1:05:00Speaker 5: Get the 100,000 mile tune up, whatever that is. But
- 1:05:03Speaker 5: get new plugs and points. Do cars use points anymore?
- 1:05:08Speaker 5: Do they ever use points? I don't even know. but
- 1:05:11Speaker 5: I'll get the new plugs and get a fuel system
- 1:05:12Speaker 5: flush and then get the radiator flushed and get new
- 1:05:15Speaker 5: fluids and have them check the belts and everything for me.
- 1:05:18Speaker 5: I remember it was funny because I remember the, um,
- 1:05:23Speaker 5: the dealer contacted me and they're like, yeah, you need your,
- 1:05:27Speaker 5: it was, I got like three, it's supposed to be
- 1:05:29Speaker 5: three years of oil changes for free. And they're like, yeah,
- 1:05:32Speaker 5: you need the hundred thousand mile, whatever. The last time
- 1:05:36Speaker 5: that I'd gone there, that's actually, it wasn't a hundred
- 1:05:38Speaker 5: thousand miles. I think it was like, 75,000 miles. They like,
- 1:05:41Speaker 5: you need the 75. And they were like, Oh, it's
- 1:05:43Speaker 5: only about a thousand, $ 1, 500. And I'm like, are you
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: smoking crack? So no, I didn't. When my free oil,
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: by the way, this is one of the things I
- 1:05:54Speaker 5: hate about the dealers. I don't, I don't hate they
- 1:05:56Speaker 5: serve a purpose. And I got a great drug from
- 1:05:59Speaker 5: the dealer, but they always put you in that. Hey,
- 1:06:01Speaker 5: you get free oil changes. And then you got to
- 1:06:02Speaker 5: come back and you got to sit there after making
- 1:06:05Speaker 5: an appointment for like two and a half, three hours
- 1:06:07Speaker 5: while they change your oil. And I very quickly would just, man,
- 1:06:12Speaker 5: my time is worth more than that. So I started
- 1:06:15Speaker 5: going to like the 10-minute oil changes.
- 1:06:17Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:06:18Speaker 5: Get it done in 15, 20 minutes, whatever. So I
- 1:06:22Speaker 5: did that. Of course, I also had to get my,
- 1:06:26Speaker 5: I don't understand. We don't have to get our vehicles
- 1:06:29Speaker 5: inspected anymore, but they still inspect the exhaust system. And
- 1:06:33Speaker 5: now it costs more than it did because you get
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: your registration, I guess. So it costs more than it
- 1:06:38Speaker 5: did when I used to have to get it inspected.
- 1:06:41Speaker 5: It maybe just worked out that way. I don't know,
- 1:06:43Speaker 5: but I don't have once again, but I'll be going
- 1:06:48Speaker 5: and seeing Jay Streck was over at humble Amco later
- 1:06:52Speaker 5: this week. I'm going to go take it and drop
- 1:06:53Speaker 5: it off and let them, you know, take care of
- 1:06:55Speaker 5: the points and the flushes and check on the belts
- 1:06:58Speaker 5: and everything, make sure everything's good. It's all been good
- 1:07:01Speaker 5: at some point.
- 1:07:01Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 1:07:02Speaker 5: When are you supposed to replace the brakes? Because my
- 1:07:05Speaker 5: breaks haven't been squeaking or squealing or grinding. They've been good.
- 1:07:10Speaker 5: So I guess I could, well, you don't really have
- 1:07:13Speaker 5: to answer that. I could probably look it up in
- 1:07:15Speaker 5: about five minutes. Anyway, all right, welcome back to the program.
- 1:07:19Speaker 5: Glad to have you here with us. Once again, I
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: mentioned we lost Kay Granger, passed away. She was the
- 1:07:24Speaker 5: first Republican woman from Texas to serve in the U.S.
- 1:07:27Speaker 34: House.
- 1:07:28Speaker 5: She passed away at the age of 83 after serving
- 1:07:30Speaker 5: three decades. She was a former mayor, was the first
- 1:07:33Speaker 5: female mayor of Fort Worth, even though Democrats can't tell
- 1:07:36Speaker 5: you what a woman is, but you can't judge a
- 1:07:43Speaker 5: woman's right to choose. Okay. Oh, that's right. They talk
- 1:07:47Speaker 5: out of both sides of their ass. Anyway, Democrats, by
- 1:07:51Speaker 5: the way, in New York apparently want you to prove
- 1:07:53Speaker 5: who you are to visit their communist grocery stores. They
- 1:07:58Speaker 5: got groceries now that they're going to provide cheaper than
- 1:08:00Speaker 5: regular grocery stores, but you have to provide ID if
- 1:08:03Speaker 5: you want to go there. Not if you want to vote.
- 1:08:05Speaker 5: Voting is not important enough to provide ID, but to
- 1:08:08Speaker 5: go to their communist grocery stores, you have to provide ID.
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: What?
- 1:08:18Speaker 5: And the WNBA is all in on trans everything. And
- 1:08:21Speaker 5: they're mad as hell at Sophie Cunningham. One of the
- 1:08:24Speaker 5: owners went crazy on her, and Ben had a little
- 1:08:27Speaker 5: statement on Friday about that. But they're so angry at
- 1:08:31Speaker 5: her because she said, hey, listen, I don't think dudes
- 1:08:34Speaker 5: should be participating whether they pretend to be women or not.
- 1:08:37Speaker 5: And boy, does the WNBA, they hate a straight, white,
- 1:08:40Speaker 5: pretty woman in their sport. Oh, man, because she's pretty
- 1:08:44Speaker 5: and she's tough. And she tries to take care of
- 1:08:47Speaker 5: Kaitlyn Clark. Who's the only reason anyone... I was going
- 1:08:52Speaker 5: to say the only reason anyone watches the WNBA, but
- 1:08:55Speaker 5: who's watching the WNBA? A bunch of.
- 1:08:59Speaker 6: People.
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: Of lesbians, maybe? Does anybody really just watch the WNBA?
- 1:09:05Speaker 5: I haven't watched a game since Cynthia Cooper and Cheryl Swoops.
- 1:09:08Speaker 5: That's right, the Houston Comets. When it first started, and
- 1:09:11Speaker 5: they were like five years champs or whatever, and I didn't.
- 1:09:14Speaker 5: I watched a couple of games then. Because my mom
- 1:09:17Speaker 5: used to play basketball. She played softball. She was really good.
- 1:09:22Speaker 5: But nobody watches and nobody cares, so these weirdos are
- 1:09:24Speaker 5: going crazy. And just stop voting for communists. They don't
- 1:09:27Speaker 5: even hide their communism anymore. Quit trying to, once again,
- 1:09:31Speaker 5: these people calling into radio programs trying to convince me
- 1:09:35Speaker 5: that somehow communists are better than people like Donald Trump
- 1:09:38Speaker 5: or Ken Paxton or Governor Abbott.
- 1:09:40Speaker 8: Come on.
- 1:09:42Speaker 5: Governor Abbott leads the ticket, by the way. He doesn't
- 1:09:44Speaker 5: get dragged down by the others that are below him.
- 1:09:48Speaker 5: He's also sitting on about $ 90 million. I don't think
- 1:09:51Speaker 5: that person with $ 100, 000 in her bank account, is it $ 200, 000
- 1:09:55Speaker 5: or $ 300, 000, whatever, has any chance whatsoever. If you asked
- 1:09:59Speaker 5: who was running against Governor Abbott, you know who's going
- 1:10:02Speaker 5: to be able to tell you who the lady actually is?
- 1:10:05Speaker 5: Nerds like me. Because if you ask the average person,
- 1:10:08Speaker 5: they have no idea. Anyway, but once again, this is politics, man.
- 1:10:17Speaker 5: That's the way it is. People get all amped up
- 1:10:20Speaker 5: and want to argue and want to get going. Speaking of,
- 1:10:23Speaker 5: if you want to get going, 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738, if you
- 1:10:29Speaker 5: want to get in here in the second hour. So
- 1:10:31Speaker 5: President Trump said that a deal is imminent and negotiations
- 1:10:34Speaker 5: will begin today over the Strait of Hormuz and Tehran's
- 1:10:37Speaker 5: nuclear program. This is just a day after he called
- 1:10:40Speaker 5: off what was potentially a massive U.S. attack on the
- 1:10:43Speaker 5: Islamic Republic. Apparently, some of our allies, Saudi Arabia, the
- 1:10:48Speaker 5: United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Iran, or Qatar. I call
- 1:10:52Speaker 5: it Qatar. And Iran, they urged him to hold off
- 1:10:56Speaker 5: and give diplomacy another chance. Can we give diplomacy another chance?
- 1:11:00Speaker 5: And then Iran turned right around and said, no, we're
- 1:11:04Speaker 5: not negotiating with anyone. We're not talking to anyone. So
- 1:11:08Speaker 5: we're getting mixed messaging at best out of Iran. And
- 1:11:11Speaker 5: I made the statement in the first hours, like Trump
- 1:11:13Speaker 5: said early on, we won the war in two days.
- 1:11:15Speaker 5: We took out the nuclear program. And in four weeks,
- 1:11:19Speaker 5: we'll have it cleaned up. And once again, I equate
- 1:11:21Speaker 5: that verbiage, that terminology, the same way I equated when
- 1:11:25Speaker 5: he said on day one, the Ukraine-Russia war would have
- 1:11:29Speaker 5: never happened if I was president, which I believe that
- 1:11:31Speaker 5: is the case. But now it's going to be taken
- 1:11:34Speaker 5: care of on day one. Well, day one's still going on.
- 1:11:37Speaker 5: We're We're in day what number? 600 and whatever. So
- 1:11:46Speaker 5: it's just, once again, a little easier said than done.
- 1:11:50Speaker 5: But then again, that's what we're talking about with, like
- 1:11:53Speaker 5: I said, war. Unfortunately, we are not in control whether
- 1:11:57Speaker 5: these people want to continue fighting or not. So that's
- 1:12:01Speaker 5: the problem with it. And then Iran, who knows? I
- 1:12:05Speaker 5: have no clue who they're trying to talk to. and
- 1:12:08Speaker 5: have no idea if they're actually going to get really
- 1:12:12Speaker 5: anything taken care of. All right. So James Tallarico has
- 1:12:16Speaker 5: said that scripture requires the government to guarantee health coverage,
- 1:12:19Speaker 5: telling a Texas church crowd that the new Testament makes
- 1:12:23Speaker 5: a public health insurance option, a Christian obligation. So once again,
- 1:12:30Speaker 5: Tallarico jumping in and saying, using the Bible to, uh,
- 1:12:37Speaker 5: To push his garbage policy. So he says that health
- 1:12:43Speaker 5: care is truly a human right for every single person
- 1:12:46Speaker 5: in the state. And this is his plan now that
- 1:12:49Speaker 5: he's unveiled for black voters. Is this for everybody's health
- 1:12:56Speaker 5: care right for everybody or just the black voters now
- 1:12:57Speaker 5: because you're way underwater with black voters? For some reason,
- 1:13:03Speaker 5: black voters don't really like gay dudes. They really don't.
- 1:13:07Speaker 5: They generally don't go that way. And I know that
- 1:13:10Speaker 5: James Talafrico is the most heterosexual man probably ever to
- 1:13:14Speaker 5: run as a Democrat nominee, despite his love for the
- 1:13:18Speaker 5: trans children, despite the fact that he fanboys over trans
- 1:13:23Speaker 5: podcast hosts, and he's all in for Jesus and transing
- 1:13:26Speaker 5: the children, and he uses his Bible that God is non-binary.
- 1:13:30Speaker 5: I was like, so where does it say in the
- 1:13:33Speaker 5: scripture that that health care is a right. I guess
- 1:13:38Speaker 5: right there where it says that God is non-binary. Or
- 1:13:43Speaker 5: I guess where Jesus could be for transing the kids, maybe.
- 1:13:46Speaker 5: I don't know. We shall see. And Governor Abbott has
- 1:13:52Speaker 5: directed that the PUCT, that's the Public Utilities Commission, and ERCOT,
- 1:13:57Speaker 5: the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, to conduct a comprehensive
- 1:14:01Speaker 5: verification and audit of all of the data centers before
- 1:14:05Speaker 5: any project moves forward in the state. Any project that
- 1:14:08Speaker 5: fails to comply with state requirements will be denied connection
- 1:14:12Speaker 5: to the Texas grid. So this is going to be
- 1:14:17Speaker 5: interesting to see how this plays out. Once again, data
- 1:14:20Speaker 5: centers aren't anything new. They've been around for a long
- 1:14:23Speaker 5: time actually. What you think is a cloud up in
- 1:14:26Speaker 5: the sky is not actually a cloud up in the sky.
- 1:14:28Speaker 5: It's actually a data center. So we need to make
- 1:14:32Speaker 5: sure they don't get hacked and we need to make
- 1:14:34Speaker 5: sure they're good. We also need to make sure they
- 1:14:36Speaker 5: don't drain our grid here in Texas and cause a
- 1:14:40Speaker 5: grid collapse or a shutdown like what just happened in Cuba.
- 1:14:44Speaker 5: Communism is so great. Cuba's doing great. They're fantastic. It's huge. Oh,
- 1:14:49Speaker 5: and I barely have mentioned this. Senators John Cornyn and
- 1:14:52Speaker 5: Tom Tillis released a joint statement today saying they'll be
- 1:14:54Speaker 5: backing Attorney General Todd Blanche's nomination to be the next
- 1:14:59Speaker 5: Attorney General on a permanent basis. So Trump, apparently, somebody
- 1:15:02Speaker 5: struck a deal, got him on board. So here you go.
- 1:15:06Speaker 5: That was the big, oh man, it was, once again,
- 1:15:09Speaker 5: John Cornyn being John Cornyn. He's a dirtbag. He's still
- 1:15:14Speaker 5: a dirtbag, but he's a dirtbag who's done in January.
- 1:15:18Speaker 5: And they got him on board for this. So get
- 1:15:20Speaker 5: him on board for whatever else is left with his
- 1:15:22Speaker 5: time in office and then get rid of him and
- 1:15:24Speaker 5: then he can go away. Go quietly into that good night.
- 1:15:28Speaker 5: Maybe he can go join Marjorie Traylor Green and Thomas
- 1:15:31Speaker 5: Massey and Tucker Carlson and be part of this third party. Yeah,
- 1:15:37Speaker 5: they're all getting together for a third party. Former Republican
- 1:15:42Speaker 5: Representative Marjorie Traylor Green, as I call her. along with
- 1:15:45Speaker 5: Tucker Carlson and Representative Thomas Massey, lame duck, because he's
- 1:15:49Speaker 5: out now after his term, they're going to form a
- 1:15:51Speaker 5: third party. Fantastic. It's going to be terrific. It's going
- 1:15:57Speaker 5: to be huge. Yeah. Yeah. I would say all three
- 1:16:05Speaker 5: of those. Talk about falls from grace. And they can't
- 1:16:10Speaker 5: figure out why they can't beat Trump. All right, 281-558-KSCV, 281-558-5738.
- 1:16:15Speaker 5: Let's take a short break. We'll come back, get more
- 1:16:19Speaker 5: of your phone calls if you want to weigh in
- 1:16:20Speaker 5: on the second hour. We can get to that. We
- 1:16:22Speaker 5: can also talk about a good guy with a gun
- 1:16:24Speaker 5: stopping a bad guy with a gun in Twin Falls, Idaho. Oh, yeah,
- 1:16:30Speaker 5: 35-year-old Jordan Salinas decided him and his girlfriend were going
- 1:16:34Speaker 5: to go get a burger, and some dude was trying
- 1:16:36Speaker 5: to shoot up the place, commit a mass murder. And
- 1:16:40Speaker 5: he went and confronted the dude with his nice little
- 1:16:42Speaker 5: FN 5.7 pistol with a suppressor and a chest rig.
- 1:16:46Speaker 5: And that dude said, oh, this guy knows what he's doing.
- 1:16:48Speaker 5: This is trouble. And it ended shortly thereafter. Good guy
- 1:16:53Speaker 5: with a gun versus a bad guy with a gun.
- 1:16:54Speaker 5: All right, we'll be right back. Don't go away.
- 1:16:58Speaker 14: We'll be right back.
- 1:17:07Speaker 8: Call Chris X Radio now. 281-558-KSEV. 281-558-KSEV. Hi, this is
- 1:17:16Speaker 8: Michael Miller.
- 1:17:17Speaker 12: Join me this weekend for the Backyard Bay Radio Program.

- 1:17:36Speaker 18: and sensible conservative solutions for Texas.
- 1:17:41Speaker 34: Hello, friends.
- 1:17:42Speaker 8: Let's be honest.
- 1:17:43Speaker 34: Every business says they're better, but the ones that earn
- 1:17:47Speaker 34: the prestigious BBB seal back it up. That's why it's
- 1:17:50Speaker 34: the sign of a better business. And it instantly identifies
- 1:17:55Speaker 34: reputable businesses you can trust. So look for the BBB
- 1:17:58Speaker 34: seal because it's looking out for you. It's the sign
- 1:18:02Speaker 34: of a better business. And find a better business anytime
- 1:18:05Speaker 34: at BBB.org. That's BBB.org.
- 1:18:10Speaker 24: Hi y'all, it's Kathy from Baker Mortgage. You know, with
- 1:18:13Speaker 24: all the scary stuff we've been through, it's still true
- 1:18:16Speaker 24: that timing is everything and the time to buy is now,
- 1:18:19Speaker 24: but don't go looking without a solid pre-approval in hand.
- 1:18:22Speaker 24: And this includes an application and a detailed discussion about
- 1:18:26Speaker 24: property taxes. If you didn't have the talk, You know,
- 1:18:29Speaker 24: about property taxes, you really don't know what you're pre-approved for.
- 1:18:33Speaker 24: That should make you wonder what else they may have
- 1:18:35Speaker 24: left out. Mortgages are personal. Let's face it, we're dealing
- 1:18:38Speaker 24: with your home and your money, and it doesn't get
- 1:18:40Speaker 24: much more personal than that. When it's the largest transaction
- 1:18:43Speaker 24: that most people will ever be involved in, imagine having
- 1:18:47Speaker 24: someone on your side looking out after you.
- 1:18:49Speaker 5: What a concept.
- 1:18:50Speaker 24: We audit your closing statement to make sure you're not
- 1:18:53Speaker 24: paying for things that you're not supposed to. Do you
- 1:18:55Speaker 24: think your big bank's going to do that? Probably not.
- 1:18:58Speaker 24: For all of your mortgage needs, call us at Baker Mortgage.
- 1:19:01Speaker 24: I promise you'll be glad you did. We're at 281-313-MOVE

- 1:19:22Speaker 30: The Voice of Texas.
- 1:19:26Speaker 8: Connect with the Chris Salcedo Show.
- 1:19:27Speaker 5: Where'd you get that dollar from? I'm sorry, what did
- 1:19:31Speaker 5: you say, sir? I'm sorry, what did you say, sir?
- 1:19:33Speaker 23: I'm sorry, I couldn't hear what you said. Start your
- 1:19:39Speaker 23: mornings with the Chris Salcedo Show, 7.
- 1:19:42Speaker 25: To 9 a.m.
- 1:19:52Speaker 8: And now, back to Chris X Radio.
- 1:19:54Speaker 4: Chris X Radio on The Voice of Texas.
- 1:19:59Speaker 3: The Voice of.
- 1:20:03Speaker 4: Texas Another spin around.
- 1:20:23Speaker 5: Still do some stuff. Man, they had a few little hits.
- 1:20:27Speaker 5: I don't mean little hits. Was it this love? It's love.
- 1:20:31Speaker 5: That was a good song. And, of course, this one. Music, music,
- 1:20:37Speaker 5: I hear music. King's X was pretty awesome. Who would
- 1:20:41Speaker 5: have known I'd eventually be Chris X? I did not realize.
- 1:20:44Speaker 5: Didn't see that one coming. I literally didn't. People sending
- 1:20:50Speaker 5: me text messages about John Cornyn, they're big fans.
- 1:20:52Speaker 30: No, they're not.
- 1:20:54Speaker 5: That's why he got absolutely obliterated in his own primary.
- 1:20:58Speaker 5: And he can go head his way quietly into retirement.
- 1:21:03Speaker 5: Do we think he's going to be any better than
- 1:21:04Speaker 5: he was his final days in office compared to what
- 1:21:07Speaker 5: he was for the last, I don't know, 20 years? Anyway,
- 1:21:12Speaker 5: welcome back to Chris X Radio. It is Monday, August 3rd.
- 1:21:15Speaker 5: It looks like the temperature's dropped a little bit. It's
- 1:21:17Speaker 5: down to about 101, I guess. Oh, man. It's still hot.
- 1:21:23Speaker 5: It's way too hot. I can't even imagine what the
- 1:21:26Speaker 5: temperature gauge says on most vehicles right now if you're
- 1:21:29Speaker 5: stuck on the beltway or driving in traffic. I remember
- 1:21:33Speaker 5: days going to University of Houston. I didn't have a car.
- 1:21:36Speaker 5: And I was driving my mom's car and her air
- 1:21:38Speaker 5: conditioner had gone out and we didn't have the money
- 1:21:41Speaker 5: to put a new one in. So I was driving
- 1:21:44Speaker 5: it going to and from University of Houston, a commuter college.
- 1:21:48Speaker 5: Lived down in the Humble Kingwood area. And I remember
- 1:21:51Speaker 5: getting stuck in traffic and just cooking. And I was like,
- 1:21:56Speaker 5: my God, one day I hope to be able to
- 1:21:59Speaker 5: afford an air conditioner and And you'd have the window down,
- 1:22:02Speaker 5: so when I'm driving, at least the wind was blowing,
- 1:22:03Speaker 5: but it was hot wind, so it literally didn't cool
- 1:22:06Speaker 5: you off at all. I guess it helped dry you
- 1:22:08Speaker 5: off a little bit, but all I did was sweat.
- 1:22:11Speaker 5: Because I always, when I went to college, I went
- 1:22:13Speaker 5: through summer school. And during summer school, it got really hot.
- 1:22:17Speaker 5: I just remember the dog days of July and August
- 1:22:22Speaker 5: when it was 100 degrees. Honestly, oh, it says 97 now. Okay,
- 1:22:25Speaker 5: so I guess it's dropped a little bit more. Which is, that's, man,
- 1:22:29Speaker 5: that's 97's like a cold front, right? It's weird because
- 1:22:35Speaker 5: I remember the heat. Being a kid, man, it didn't
- 1:22:39Speaker 5: bother me. I didn't like sitting in traffic in it. But, man,
- 1:22:43Speaker 5: it was, I remember those days. Like I said, my
- 1:22:48Speaker 5: AC's been working great, knock on wood, in my truck.
- 1:22:52Speaker 5: I guess I'll have a J-Strike for Zilver Dumble AMCO.
- 1:22:55Speaker 5: Take a look at that as well. Make sure that
- 1:22:57Speaker 5: I'm good. He's going, you'll check out everything in my
- 1:22:59Speaker 5: hundred thousand mile, whatever. So like I said, I've been good.
- 1:23:04Speaker 5: It's been a very good truck. It has taken me
- 1:23:06Speaker 5: up to the hill country and back multiple times. Go there,
- 1:23:10Speaker 5: hauled around some corn and things and drove around down
- 1:23:13Speaker 5: the pastures.
- 1:23:14Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:23:16Speaker 5: I know one thing when I, I think I told
- 1:23:18Speaker 5: you guys, I went up there a couple of weeks ago,
- 1:23:20Speaker 5: had to put corn in the feeder and change batteries
- 1:23:22Speaker 5: and all that stuff. And when I put the corn
- 1:23:24Speaker 5: in the feeder, I was like, man, it's, it's, I was,
- 1:23:26Speaker 5: cause I was in the sun. I'm like, it's hot.
- 1:23:28Speaker 5: And I checked the temperature gauge in my truck. It
- 1:23:30Speaker 5: said 85 degrees. I'm like, man, it seems a lot
- 1:23:33Speaker 5: hotter than 85 degrees. And then, cause sometimes it'll, it
- 1:23:36Speaker 5: kind of just gets stuck, I guess, wherever I last
- 1:23:38Speaker 5: turned it off or whatever. Then I got in the
- 1:23:40Speaker 5: truck and was driving back through the pasture, got to
- 1:23:43Speaker 5: the other areas where it was actually a little cooler
- 1:23:45Speaker 5: than where I was. Oh, it was 102. And I'm like, oh,
- 1:23:48Speaker 5: now I know I got too hot because it was
- 1:23:51Speaker 5: actually 100 plus degrees because you're in Texas. And the
- 1:23:56Speaker 5: sun likes to take a better look at Texas, this
- 1:23:59Speaker 5: little closer look at Texas this time of year because
- 1:24:02Speaker 5: it's just so beautiful. And it is beautiful. The entire
- 1:24:05Speaker 5: ranch is green. And it was funny, but it was
- 1:24:07Speaker 5: one of the few times when I go up to
- 1:24:08Speaker 5: the ranch and the owners weren't there. The guy, Ken,
- 1:24:12Speaker 5: who owns it, he was in Fredericksburg, and then his
- 1:24:15Speaker 5: wife went to the library to meet her friend for
- 1:24:17Speaker 5: lunch or whatever, and it just so happened when I
- 1:24:19Speaker 5: got there was when I was working, trying to get
- 1:24:21Speaker 5: everything done before it got hot. And then when I
- 1:24:23Speaker 5: tried to stop by, I was bringing cookies and stuff.
- 1:24:26Speaker 5: So when I went and dropped off cookies, they were
- 1:24:27Speaker 5: all gone. So I didn't get to see them this trip.
- 1:24:30Speaker 5: It's all right, though. I'll get to see them on
- 1:24:31Speaker 5: the next trip. I'm trying to figure out... How in
- 1:24:36Speaker 5: the world I'm going to hold off and not maybe
- 1:24:39Speaker 5: go up there until it cools down a little bit?
- 1:24:41Speaker 5: Because in the mornings, generally, it does cool down more
- 1:24:44Speaker 5: than here. The temperature swings are pretty massive up there. Well,
- 1:24:48Speaker 5: I remember last winter going up there when it was
- 1:24:51Speaker 5: 14 degrees. You know, I like that better. I can
- 1:24:56Speaker 5: get warm better than I can really get cool when
- 1:25:01Speaker 5: you're out there in the middle of nowhere.
- 1:25:04Speaker 9: So.
- 1:25:06Speaker 5: Anyhow, all right, let's take a break. We'll come back.
- 1:25:08Speaker 5: We'll talk a little bit about, one, what Governor Abbott
- 1:25:12Speaker 5: is doing with these data centers as far as how
- 1:25:16Speaker 5: they're going to be allowed to hook up to ERCOT.
- 1:25:22Speaker 5: He's going to make sure that, well, they're abiding by
- 1:25:25Speaker 5: the rules. And if you don't, if they fail an audit,
- 1:25:29Speaker 5: you don't get connection to the grid. So that's a
- 1:25:32Speaker 5: good sign. But we're supposed to believe somebody that if
- 1:25:36Speaker 5: I don't mention her name, you'd probably have no idea
- 1:25:38Speaker 5: who I was talking about, is tied with him for
- 1:25:40Speaker 5: Texas governor, the Democrat nominee, Gina Hinojosa. I don't know.
- 1:25:45Speaker 5: She may be sitting on a couple hundred thousand dollars.
- 1:25:50Speaker 5: Once again, the polls had me until we got to

- 1:26:24Speaker 28: it sooner.
- 1:26:25Speaker 11: I hear it all the time. Once the roof is replaced,

- 1:27:52Speaker 5: the doctor. Garage Door Doctor.
- 1:28:03Speaker 12: I started my first business at 12 years old, mowing
- 1:28:06Speaker 12: lawns for about five bucks a yard. I thought I
- 1:28:08Speaker 12: was crushing it until my buddy down the street undercut
- 1:28:11Speaker 12: me by two bucks.
- 1:28:12Speaker 5: But he didn't just cut the price. He cut corners too.
- 1:28:15Speaker 12: That's when I learned if you do the job right,

- 1:28:56Speaker 8: Fake news hates us. Fake news hates us.
- 1:28:59Speaker 3: Chris X Radio.
- 1:29:00Speaker 5: Chris X Radio. Welcome back to Chris X Radio. I'm
- 1:29:22Speaker 5: the aforementioned X-Man. Glad to have you here with us.
- 1:29:24Speaker 5: We've only got two segments remaining of today's program. Your
- 1:29:28Speaker 5: Manic Monday, August 3rd edition of the program. Temperature looks
- 1:29:32Speaker 5: like it's holding steady around 97 degrees in my part
- 1:29:36Speaker 5: of the hood, I guess. Man, it's hot. But you
- 1:29:41Speaker 5: know what? That is normal this time of year. It
- 1:29:43Speaker 5: gets hot. And it is hot outside, to say the least. Lord.
- 1:29:47Speaker 7: Lord.
- 1:29:49Speaker 5: So anyway, welcome back to the program. If you want
- 1:29:51Speaker 5: to get in here in this segment or the next one,
- 1:29:53Speaker 5: we've only got two remaining and then we're done. We'll
- 1:29:56Speaker 5: be back for taco Tuesday. I don't know. I may
- 1:29:58Speaker 5: go get tacos tonight. What about that? Do you ever
- 1:30:00Speaker 5: think about that? Can I have taco Monday? No, it
- 1:30:04Speaker 5: doesn't really work. Mexican food Monday. I could do that.
- 1:30:08Speaker 5: I don't even have to have a reason and I
- 1:30:11Speaker 5: can do it. You know why? Because this is still
- 1:30:14Speaker 5: America and the communists haven't taken over yet. But the
- 1:30:18Speaker 5: Democrats push so hard for the communists to take over
- 1:30:21Speaker 5: because everywhere else he's tried communism has done it wrong
- 1:30:25Speaker 5: and failed. But here in this time, no, it's going
- 1:30:28Speaker 5: to be good. This time, they're going to be cool.
- 1:30:31Speaker 5: It's going to be good. Communism will be great this
- 1:30:33Speaker 5: time because we're bringing it in under the guise of
- 1:30:38Speaker 5: democratic socialism, says a guy who honeymooned in communist Russia.
- 1:30:47Speaker 5: back when they were the former Soviet Union. And he
- 1:30:51Speaker 5: couldn't stop talking about how great it was. What about Cuba?
- 1:30:54Speaker 5: There are lines for food. It's better than having no
- 1:30:56Speaker 5: food at all, isn't it? Well, kind of sucks. But
- 1:31:04Speaker 5: of course, a commie who goes and sets rules in
- 1:31:07Speaker 5: his hotel rooms that the temperature can't be anything higher
- 1:31:10Speaker 5: than like 72 degrees. He gets the, do you think
- 1:31:13Speaker 5: that guy sleeps on anything under 600 thread linen count sheets?
- 1:31:20Speaker 5: I'm going to go with no. He's one of those
- 1:31:23Speaker 5: good old school communists where I'm in charge and I
- 1:31:25Speaker 5: get to live in one of my three houses. Pardon
- 1:31:29Speaker 5: me for having a summer cottage on Lake Champlain. Yeah,
- 1:31:33Speaker 5: that was the house the Democrats bought him off with
- 1:31:35Speaker 5: when he was beating Hillary. You know the Democrats are
- 1:31:37Speaker 5: all about democracy except when the communist was beating their
- 1:31:41Speaker 5: preferred candidate and they had to buy him off. So
- 1:31:45Speaker 5: they bought him a summer cottage on Lake Champlain, his
- 1:31:47Speaker 5: third home. Because most communists have three homes while the
- 1:31:51Speaker 5: rest of you get to wait in this new government
- 1:31:53Speaker 5: run communist grocery store that you have to provide an
- 1:31:57Speaker 5: ID to attend.
- 1:31:59Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:31:59Speaker 5: In New York. And then they're going to sell it
- 1:32:02Speaker 5: to you for slightly cheaper than what you would get
- 1:32:04Speaker 5: at a regular grocery store. So it's way better. the
- 1:32:10Speaker 5: communist will take 30, 40, 50, 100 million of your
- 1:32:13Speaker 5: tax dollars and then provide you cheaper grocery stores that
- 1:32:17Speaker 5: will go out of business probably in less than a year,
- 1:32:20Speaker 5: maybe two years, maybe three tops, but it'll go out
- 1:32:23Speaker 5: of business because they don't make money. And then they can't,
- 1:32:26Speaker 5: then they eventually they run out of other people's money
- 1:32:27Speaker 5: to spend. Hey, that thing we've heard about communism our
- 1:32:31Speaker 5: entire lives. It's amazing that people still buy this garbage.
- 1:32:38Speaker 5: Democrats are so ideologically bent and driven, they're now supporting
- 1:32:43Speaker 5: open communists. That is why we cannot screw up in Texas. Listen,
- 1:32:49Speaker 5: I don't care how angry you may be that your
- 1:32:51Speaker 5: preferred candidate didn't win the primary. Listen, it's better than
- 1:32:56Speaker 5: turning it over to communists. I know it's weird. I
- 1:32:58Speaker 5: know it's a hard concept to follow, but you're not
- 1:33:01Speaker 5: supposed to get so upset at a primary that you
- 1:33:03Speaker 5: don't vote in a general. That is absolute lunacy. especially
- 1:33:09Speaker 5: when you have people that have the third summer cottage
- 1:33:12Speaker 5: supporting communist candidates. Anyway, I mentioned before the break, by
- 1:33:17Speaker 5: the way, if you want to join us, 281-558-KSV. Governor
- 1:33:20Speaker 5: Abbott has directed the Public Utilities Commission and ERCOT to
- 1:33:24Speaker 5: conduct a comprehensive verification and audit of all these data
- 1:33:27Speaker 5: centers before any project moves forward. They will have to
- 1:33:31Speaker 5: comply with state requirements or they will be denied connection
- 1:33:35Speaker 5: to the Texas grid. Governor Abbott today directed, of course, PUCT,
- 1:33:40Speaker 5: Public Utilities Commission, and ERCOT to conduct a comprehensive verification
- 1:33:44Speaker 5: and audit of all data centers advancing through ERCOT's interconnection process.
- 1:33:50Speaker 5: The PUCT and ERCOT must complete this audit before any
- 1:33:53Speaker 5: data center project moves forward. Any project that fails to
- 1:33:57Speaker 5: comply with the requirements set forth by PUCT or ERCOT
- 1:34:02Speaker 5: will be denied connection to the grid. quote, our top
- 1:34:05Speaker 5: priority is to protect Texans' safety and quality of life,
- 1:34:09Speaker 5: said Governor Abbott. Any project that fails to comply with
- 1:34:12Speaker 5: the requirements set forth by the PUCT or ERCOT and
- 1:34:16Speaker 5: by state law must be denied connection to the Texas grid.
- 1:34:20Speaker 5: Simply put, Texans must come first. ERCOT is currently considering
- 1:34:25Speaker 5: approximately over 474 gigawatts of request to connect to the
- 1:34:31Speaker 5: Texas grid, more than five times Texas' record peak electricity
- 1:34:36Speaker 5: demand for ERCOT. Approximately 90% of the new power requests
- 1:34:41Speaker 5: are from data centers. that unprecedented load growth could endanger
- 1:34:46Speaker 5: the reliability and stability of the Texas electric grid. Therefore,
- 1:34:51Speaker 5: they're going to have to go through this process. And
- 1:34:53Speaker 5: as Governor Abbott said, he wants to make sure that
- 1:34:56Speaker 5: these things are producing their own electricity. And I agree
- 1:35:00Speaker 5: with that 100%. If you can build these big, huge,
- 1:35:03Speaker 5: billion-dollar data centers, you can absolutely build a generator or
- 1:35:07Speaker 5: have generators powering the damn things. Not only should radio
- 1:35:13Speaker 5: stations and things like that have generators, especially the station
- 1:35:18Speaker 5: of emergency broadcast, they have it. Help people have generators
- 1:35:22Speaker 5: in their homes. We too should have generators for these
- 1:35:26Speaker 5: big old, well, their own generators, I guess, for these
- 1:35:29Speaker 5: big old data centers. And some of them are just
- 1:35:31Speaker 5: huge and they're coming on board. Well, we'll make sure
- 1:35:35Speaker 5: they come on board and don't let them just absolutely
- 1:35:39Speaker 5: overwhelm our grid. It's amazing to think that they're using
- 1:35:43Speaker 5: that kind of power. Then again, realize how big Texas is.
- 1:35:46Speaker 5: And we've got a lot of space, a lot of
- 1:35:48Speaker 5: room for these data centers. And people are all freaked
- 1:35:51Speaker 5: out about it. Well, I get it. Okay, good. It's
- 1:35:54Speaker 5: good to pay attention and be aware and to not
- 1:35:58Speaker 5: just allow them to just, you know, hijack your grid
- 1:36:01Speaker 5: because Texas, unlike the rest of the country, we have
- 1:36:03Speaker 5: our own grid and we have to take care of it.
- 1:36:06Speaker 5: We don't want another perfect storm like what happened in 21,
- 1:36:09Speaker 5: which was actually in the winter. And by the way,
- 1:36:12Speaker 5: hasn't gone down since. So it's been good. No time
- 1:36:16Speaker 5: to get complacent. We need to stay on it and
- 1:36:19Speaker 5: make sure that happens. All right, 281558 KSEV. Senator John
- 1:36:23Speaker 5: Cornyn and Tom Tillis, Cornyn of Texas, Tom Tillis of
- 1:36:27Speaker 5: North Carolina, have released a joint statement today saying they
- 1:36:30Speaker 5: will back Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche's nomination to be
- 1:36:35Speaker 5: the next Attorney General on a permanent basis. So they flipped.
- 1:36:38Speaker 5: They were trying to hold up President Trump's nomination. In
- 1:36:43Speaker 5: a statement, the pair said they struck a deal to
- 1:36:45Speaker 5: end the anti-weaponization fund that was set up by Blanche
- 1:36:49Speaker 5: under a settlement between President Trump and the IRS. Can
- 1:36:54Speaker 5: we just go ahead and abolish the IRS? Can we
- 1:36:56Speaker 5: get rid of them? I'd be cool with that. With
- 1:36:58Speaker 5: their statement, it eliminates a key hurdle in advancing Blanche.
- 1:37:03Speaker 5: Because now it looks like he'll get approved. Blanche said
- 1:37:07Speaker 5: over the weekend that he issued an order to end
- 1:37:09Speaker 5: the fund. which both the senators acknowledged, quote, we are
- 1:37:15Speaker 5: pleased the Department of Justice has issued a formal order
- 1:37:18Speaker 5: terminating the anti-weaponization fund, Monday's joint statement said. Additionally, the
- 1:37:23Speaker 5: department has acknowledged in binding written order that the audit
- 1:37:28Speaker 5: settlement is limited to plaintiffs and the scope does not
- 1:37:31Speaker 5: extend beyond the defendants in the lawsuit, the IRS, and
- 1:37:35Speaker 5: the Treasury. Now, Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, a Republican
- 1:37:40Speaker 5: of Iowa, said that the committee is ready to vote
- 1:37:43Speaker 5: on Blanche's nomination tomorrow, Tuesday, by praising the acting attorney
- 1:37:47Speaker 5: general as the right pick for our country. So it
- 1:37:51Speaker 5: looks like that will not be held up. Trump was
- 1:37:53Speaker 5: talking about holding it up until Tom Tillis is gone
- 1:37:56Speaker 5: and John Cornyn is gone. But now he doesn't look
- 1:38:01Speaker 5: like he's going to have to. He'll probably get approved tomorrow.
- 1:38:05Speaker 5: So we'll get the votes. We'll see if they get
- 1:38:06Speaker 5: enough tomorrow. Probably. We need to start really voting and
- 1:38:10Speaker 5: getting these people, these candidates passed through. It seems like
- 1:38:17Speaker 5: the Senate has been really slow in moving through Trump's
- 1:38:22Speaker 5: picks here in his second term. Something that Mitch McConnell,
- 1:38:26Speaker 5: once again, where's Mitch? Anybody know where Mitch is?
- 1:38:30Speaker 9: Is?
- 1:38:30Speaker 5: Is he alive? Is he a vegetable? Is he in
- 1:38:33Speaker 5: the hospital? Did the turtle crawl in his shell? Because
- 1:38:36Speaker 5: he went from cocaine Mitch by pushing forward through Trump's
- 1:38:40Speaker 5: nominees in the first term to now he's in a
- 1:38:43Speaker 5: hospital and been there for how long? And from what
- 1:38:46Speaker 5: I've heard, he's not gone home. And we've really seen
- 1:38:48Speaker 5: no sign of life. They're just saying he's there. He's
- 1:38:53Speaker 5: he's in a home somewhere. No, he's alive. He's good.
- 1:38:56Speaker 5: He's issues to people. Quote, certain Republicans have been on
- 1:38:59Speaker 5: the phone with him. All of them talk to him
- 1:39:00Speaker 5: for about 20 minutes. And he was he was on
- 1:39:03Speaker 5: top of it. He was checked in. He was not
- 1:39:06Speaker 5: checked out. He was very much on top of what's
- 1:39:09Speaker 5: going on and really looking forward to getting back to
- 1:39:11Speaker 5: work for the American people, even though after this term
- 1:39:14Speaker 5: he's done.
- 1:39:15Speaker 9: Hmm.
- 1:39:20Speaker 5: I wonder if anyone has even really talked to Mitch McConnell.
- 1:39:24Speaker 5: If they've talked to him, why hasn't Mitch McConnell said
- 1:39:26Speaker 5: anything to the press or to anyone else? Because there's
- 1:39:29Speaker 5: a lot of people asking questions. There are people now chanting,
- 1:39:32Speaker 5: where's Mitch? There are people protesting, where's Mitch McConnell? Where's Mitch?
- 1:39:38Speaker 5: What's Mitch doing? Where did Mitch go? The turtle went
- 1:39:45Speaker 5: in his shell and no one's seen him for 40-something days, 50,
- 1:39:47Speaker 5: how many days is it now? It's been a while.
- 1:39:53Speaker 5: So we'll see if old Mitch, if the turtle crawls
- 1:39:56Speaker 5: out of his shell. I mean, the other thing too
- 1:39:58Speaker 5: is he's old. Mitch is old and he's not really
- 1:40:01Speaker 5: what I'd call healthy. So to see him really get
- 1:40:05Speaker 5: back engaged here before the end of his term where
- 1:40:08Speaker 5: he's finishing up. I hate to say this, but we
- 1:40:13Speaker 5: really need term limits. I know we're supposed to be
- 1:40:16Speaker 5: the term limits, us, the voters, but voters are too
- 1:40:19Speaker 5: complacent in America. We've got it way too good that
- 1:40:21Speaker 5: we're allowing communists to get in power instead of actually
- 1:40:24Speaker 5: paying attention. And unfortunately, that is the unwashed masses, if
- 1:40:30Speaker 5: you will. Loads of stupid people and then combined with,
- 1:40:34Speaker 5: you know, a little voter fraud, maybe. We really need
- 1:40:41Speaker 5: to get back engaged in our country. It got too good,
- 1:40:45Speaker 5: too long, too fast. So people don't even know who
- 1:40:49Speaker 5: the politicians are. And they keep voting in people like
- 1:40:52Speaker 5: Mitch McConnell. People that are literally people like Dianne Feinstein
- 1:40:58Speaker 5: who dies in office. We really should have term limits.
- 1:41:04Speaker 5: We got it for our presidents. Why not for senators?
- 1:41:07Speaker 5: Why not for the House of Representatives? We should have
- 1:41:10Speaker 5: term limits for all of these offices. And no, it
- 1:41:15Speaker 5: shouldn't be term limits only applied to Republicans. That's what
- 1:41:19Speaker 5: the Democrats want. That's what they would do. That's what
- 1:41:21Speaker 5: they would have. Listen, okay, you want term limits, you
- 1:41:25Speaker 5: do it first, and then they never do it. It's
- 1:41:32Speaker 5: Lucy with the football, and you're Charlie Brown. Yeah, you
- 1:41:36Speaker 5: do it first here. I'll hold the football. Everything will
- 1:41:38Speaker 5: be fine. We're good to go. I'm just holding the
- 1:41:40Speaker 5: football for you. Here you go. Come kick it. Ah, psych.
- 1:41:48Speaker 5: That's sort of a very old analogy, but for those
- 1:41:52Speaker 5: of us who have been around long enough that understand,
- 1:41:56Speaker 5: you know what? It really is Lucy with the football.
- 1:42:00Speaker 5: So then, listen, you check out and then we'll replace
- 1:42:03Speaker 5: you with a communist and let you know how it
- 1:42:04Speaker 5: works out. Turns out McCarthyism was right. There were communists.
- 1:42:08Speaker 5: There are lots of them. They never went away. They
- 1:42:12Speaker 5: just went quietly underground and have been around ever since.
- 1:42:16Speaker 5: And now they control all the media and the entire
- 1:42:18Speaker 5: Democrat Party and professional sports and academia. Oh, they took
- 1:42:25Speaker 5: over academia a long time ago. Anyway, all right, let's
- 1:42:29Speaker 5: take a break. El Marco, hold on for me. I'll
- 1:42:30Speaker 5: get to you on the other side of this break.
- 1:42:31Speaker 5: So you'll be first up.
- 1:42:32Speaker 26: 281-558-KSEV.
- 1:42:36Speaker 5: 281-558-5738 if you want to get in here before we
- 1:42:39Speaker 5: run out of time. We're going to go duck down
- 1:42:41Speaker 5: in our shell like Mitch McConnell, but I promise we'll
- 1:42:44Speaker 5: return out of our shell on the other side of
- 1:42:47Speaker 5: this break to wrap up today's show. Don't you go anywhere.
- 1:42:49Speaker 5: We'll be right back to wrap up Chris X Radio
- 1:42:50Speaker 5: for the day.
- 1:43:03Speaker 3: You're listening to Chris X Radio on The Voice of Texas.
- 1:43:08Speaker 35: At O'Hare & Company Real Estate, we believe there are
- 1:43:10Speaker 35: people in our country and other countries that are trying

- 1:44:54Speaker 8: And now, back to Chris X Radio. Chris X Radio.
- 1:44:57Speaker 8: On the voice of Texas.
- 1:45:11Speaker 5: Welcome back to Chris X Radio. You've reached the final
- 1:45:14Speaker 5: segment of the program. We're going to wrap things up
- 1:45:15Speaker 5: here at 6 p.m. We'll be back tomorrow at 4.
- 1:45:19Speaker 5: That's what we do here each weekday, well, Monday through Thursday.
- 1:45:23Speaker 5: We do things this way. Tomorrow will be our Taco
- 1:45:25Speaker 5: Tuesday edition, so we'll be back tomorrow. And then we
- 1:45:28Speaker 5: do our Hub Day, and then, of course, there's our
- 1:45:30Speaker 5: Friday show on Thursday, which has become one of the
- 1:45:32Speaker 5: staples of Chris X Radio. I don't think anyone else
- 1:45:35Speaker 5: has been able to pull off a Friday show on
- 1:45:37Speaker 5: Thursday like we have here. And we've been doing it for, what, six,
- 1:45:40Speaker 5: seven years now? I don't know when I instituted that policy,
- 1:45:44Speaker 5: but I did, and it's been very successful. It's been fantastic.
- 1:45:47Speaker 5: It's been huge. Anyway, so we'll get ready to wrap
- 1:45:51Speaker 5: things up here at 6, and then we'll be back
- 1:45:53Speaker 5: tomorrow for our Taco Tuesday edition of the program. I
- 1:45:56Speaker 5: don't know how many people are still doing their Taco Tuesdays. Oh,
- 1:46:00Speaker 5: by the way, somebody, I forgot to mention, somebody sent
- 1:46:02Speaker 5: me some burger recommendations as well. What's the name of
- 1:46:06Speaker 5: the place? I'm trying to remember it. Niners, Niner Burgers,
- 1:46:11Speaker 5: Niner something out in Katy, the Niners place or whatever.
- 1:46:15Speaker 5: So thank you very much for that suggestion. Like I said,
- 1:46:18Speaker 5: I was, I ended up, where did I go? I
- 1:46:19Speaker 5: think I ended up going to Five Guys the other night.
- 1:46:22Speaker 5: So I didn't go to one of the crazy places.
- 1:46:24Speaker 5: I just went to a regular, like Five Guys burgers
- 1:46:27Speaker 5: are really good and their fries. If I'm in a
- 1:46:30Speaker 5: mood to eat fries, that is the place to go
- 1:46:31Speaker 5: because they literally fill your bag with fries. If you
- 1:46:35Speaker 5: get a small one and you get more fries and
- 1:46:36Speaker 5: you can, Possibly without stuffing yourself silly. Anyway, welcome back
- 1:46:40Speaker 5: to the program. 281-558-KSEV. If you want to join us
- 1:46:44Speaker 5: here before we run out of time, let's go to
- 1:46:46Speaker 5: the phones, pick up with El Marco, who's been patiently
- 1:46:48Speaker 5: hanging on. Marco, thank you for waiting. Appreciate you holding on.
- 1:46:51Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, Chris. Real quick, doubling back from when we
- 1:46:55Speaker 10: were talking about the burgers last week. What about the,
- 1:46:59Speaker 10: do you like the Smash Burgers?
- 1:47:02Speaker 5: Smash Burgers are okay. I used to like the Smash
- 1:47:04Speaker 5: Burger locations, but they all sort of closed down. I
- 1:47:06Speaker 5: don't know where any are left.
- 1:47:08Speaker 10: Yeah, there's one off of I-10 in Eldridge because I
- 1:47:12Speaker 10: stopped there a couple months ago. But you're right, it's
- 1:47:14Speaker 10: sort of like when I said.
- 1:47:15Speaker 22: Whoa, there's one.
- 1:47:16Speaker 10: So I pulled in and I got one there. And yeah,
- 1:47:18Speaker 10: it was pretty good. I liked the one with mushrooms
- 1:47:20Speaker 10: and cheese and all that too. But anyway, we were
- 1:47:25Speaker 10: talking about the turtle. But what about Maxine Waters? I
- 1:47:32Speaker 10: think she was supposed to be out for like four
- 1:47:34Speaker 10: or five months.
- 1:47:36Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know. Has she returned? At some point,
- 1:47:38Speaker 5: I think I heard that she returned, but I don't know.
- 1:47:41Speaker 10: She did maybe at the last, I haven't, maybe.
- 1:47:43Speaker 5: That's what I heard.
- 1:47:44Speaker 10: I could have done a quick search, but I'm driving
- 1:47:46Speaker 10: right now, so I didn't get a chance to do that.
- 1:47:48Speaker 5: Well, I'm just sitting here in front of a computer.
- 1:47:50Speaker 5: I don't have time to actually type in Google. Okay.
- 1:47:54Speaker 10: All right. There we go.
- 1:47:56Speaker 5: I'll look that up to see if she actually showed
- 1:47:58Speaker 5: back up for some reason. I was thinking that she did,
- 1:48:01Speaker 5: but you may be right. She was gone for a
- 1:48:02Speaker 5: really long time too. And no, I hate to say this,
- 1:48:06Speaker 5: but once again, nobody's waiting to hear what a poor
- 1:48:10Speaker 5: Maxine waters has to say, because she's a clown. Whereas
- 1:48:13Speaker 5: I apparently, even though he tends to be somewhat of
- 1:48:17Speaker 5: a clown, people apparently are waiting to find out what's
- 1:48:19Speaker 5: going on with Mitch McConnell. I guess we actually want
- 1:48:22Speaker 5: Republicans to work. Nobody wants Maxine Waters back. Everybody would
- 1:48:26Speaker 5: just hope she'd stay away forever, I guess.
- 1:48:29Speaker 10: Yes, she wants to reclaim her time. Her famous line.
- 1:48:34Speaker 4: Yes, it is.
- 1:48:37Speaker 10: Anyway, okay, well, that was basically it. I'll jump off
- 1:48:40Speaker 10: now and let someone else get in there. Take care.
- 1:48:42Speaker 5: All right. Thank you very much. I appreciate it. Always
- 1:48:43Speaker 5: good to hear from El Marco. I can look. Let's see.
- 1:48:46Speaker 5: Is Maxine Waters still around? Maxine Waters missing? Let me
- 1:48:52Speaker 5: type that. Is she still missing? She's an active U.S.
- 1:48:55Speaker 3: Rep.
- 1:48:55Speaker 5: She's been serving since 91. Strange case of missing Congress people. Wait, what?
- 1:49:04Speaker 5: Of course, Mitch McConnell. Maxine Waters denied that 100-year-old elected
- 1:49:11Speaker 5: officials should face an age cap. Okay, is this recent?
- 1:49:16Speaker 5: I guess, okay, so she was back in May. She's
- 1:49:20Speaker 5: 88 years old, currently running for her 19th term. She
- 1:49:25Speaker 5: joined Congress the same year that Disney released Beauty and
- 1:49:28Speaker 5: the Beast. Uh, okay. As the second oldest Democrat in Congress,
- 1:49:37Speaker 5: Waters faces growing scrutiny as eight and 10 Americans now
- 1:49:41Speaker 5: say they support age caps for elected officials. And Waters,
- 1:49:45Speaker 5: of course, presumes to know better than 80% of the people. It's, yeah. Okay.
- 1:49:54Speaker 5: She's old, just like Mitch McConnell. He's only 84. But
- 1:49:58Speaker 5: it looks like he has not been back. Oh, 83-year-old
- 1:50:02Speaker 5: Democrat Frederica Wilson, you guys remember her? She's finally suspended
- 1:50:06Speaker 5: her reelection campaign after vanishing from Congress and missing over
- 1:50:10Speaker 5: 40 votes earlier this year. Okay, Representative Tom Keene Jr., 57,
- 1:50:16Speaker 5: returned to Congress after missing more than 100 votes, revealing
- 1:50:19Speaker 5: behind his four-month-old absence. They said, the point of this
- 1:50:24Speaker 5: is not to criticize these people for their health struggles,
- 1:50:27Speaker 5: but to lend credence to the public's growing frustration with
- 1:50:31Speaker 5: an unresponsive ruling class. No wonder Congress's approval rating fell
- 1:50:36Speaker 5: to 10% earlier this year. No wonder 80 to 90%
- 1:50:41Speaker 5: of Americans want term limits and age caps for members
- 1:50:44Speaker 5: of the legislature. Yeah, I do believe, and like I said,
- 1:50:47Speaker 5: this even honestly goes for Trump now. He's 80 years
- 1:50:50Speaker 5: old or.
- 1:50:52Speaker 5: And once again, these people are getting old, I do think,
- 1:50:56Speaker 5: as a country. Now, once again, just because you get
- 1:50:58Speaker 5: somebody younger does not mean you're going to get somebody better. Unfortunately,
- 1:51:02Speaker 5: a lot of young Americans tend to be communists now
- 1:51:06Speaker 5: because they've been indoctrinated by these schools of Marxism. But
- 1:51:13Speaker 5: it is definitely time to clean house a little bit
- 1:51:14Speaker 5: and get rid of some of these old people. And
- 1:51:17Speaker 5: that's where, hey, you know, I do believe that if you.
- 1:51:21Speaker 5: If you had term limits, we wouldn't really have a
- 1:51:23Speaker 5: problem with 80-year-old senators or congresspeople. And you could get
- 1:51:28Speaker 5: rid of some of these people. It's insane. But then again,
- 1:51:32Speaker 5: that wouldn't make any difference for people like James Talafrico,
- 1:51:36Speaker 5: who says, you have a right to health care. Jesus
- 1:51:40Speaker 5: said so. It's right there in the Bible. Right there
- 1:51:42Speaker 5: next to where God is non-binary. Talafrico, what a weirdo.
- 1:51:50Speaker 5: He says this in his new plan he's unveiled for
- 1:51:53Speaker 5: black voters. Last week, I don't know if you saw, well,
- 1:51:56Speaker 5: I'm sure you heard the audio that was played on
- 1:51:58Speaker 5: every show of the black lady confronting him and his
- 1:52:01Speaker 5: open forum dialogue with black people, which is so funny
- 1:52:06Speaker 5: watching these white Democrats get up and say, listen, black people,
- 1:52:09Speaker 5: elect me. I will be your representative. I represent the
- 1:52:13Speaker 5: black people of America. I know I'm a white guy
- 1:52:16Speaker 5: and I'm probably gay, but still, I represent all the
- 1:52:20Speaker 5: black people. Well, maybe not so much. Maybe you guys
- 1:52:26Speaker 5: should quit kowtowing to people that you don't actually represent
- 1:52:31Speaker 5: and maybe just present them with good quality ideas that
- 1:52:34Speaker 5: they would vote for, but you understand that's not how
- 1:52:37Speaker 5: it works in the Democrat Party. The Democrat Party is
- 1:52:40Speaker 5: interested in DEI. You don't represent DEI. You're the exact opposite.
- 1:52:48Speaker 5: Guys like James Talafrico. So I'll tell you what you
- 1:52:52Speaker 5: want to hear. In fact, I will run a campaign
- 1:52:55Speaker 5: 100% antithetical to what I ran to get the primary nomination.
- 1:53:01Speaker 5: That's right. I'll backtrack on every single thing that I've said.
- 1:53:06Speaker 5: I'll say, oh, no, no, they're not six genders anymore.
- 1:53:08Speaker 5: Now there's only two. I literally, now I'm for everybody.
- 1:53:15Speaker 5: I was only for the elite, only for those fringe
- 1:53:19Speaker 5: in the primary, and I was in a vegan campaign
- 1:53:22Speaker 5: because meat was an existential threat to our lives, and
- 1:53:25Speaker 5: now I run a campaign powered by Texas barbecue. Okay,
- 1:53:30Speaker 5: barbecue sounds good. I'm going to go get some. All right,
- 1:53:31Speaker 5: be safe. We'll see you tomorrow.
