Today, let's go to the park again, but focus on describing the view. Luna: Oh, I love a good park view. What phrases do we have? Lucas: First, a very useful word: 好靚. Means 'very beautiful' or 'so pretty'. Luna: 好靚. Let me try: 好靚. Lucas: Perfect! That's it. Now, if you want to say 'the scenery is beautiful', you say: 風景好靚. Luna: 風景好靚. That's a bit longer. 風景好靚. Lucas: Right. 風景 means 'scenery' or 'landscape'. So 風景好靚 is a great phrase for when you're at a nice viewpoint. Luna: I can imagine saying that at a lookout point. So, 風景好靚. Lucas: Exactly. And if you want to say 'this place is beautiful', you can say: 呢度好靚. Luna: 呢度好靚. That's simple. 呢度 means 'here', right? Lucas: Yes! So 呢度好靚 means 'this place is beautiful'. You can use it for a park, a cafe, anywhere. Luna: 呢度好靚. I like that a lot. Lucas: Now, a phrase to get someone to look: 你睇吓. It means 'take a look' or 'look at this'. Luna: 你睇吓. So if I want to show my friend a beautiful view, I say: 你睇吓, 風景好靚. Lucas: Yes! That's perfect. 你睇吓, 風景好靚. You're already making sentences. Luna: And then we can say: 一齊睇. That means 'let's look together', right? Lucas: Exactly right. 一齊 means 'together', 睇 means 'look'. So 一齊睇 is a nice invitation to enjoy the view together. Luna: 一齊睇. That's sweet.
