- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: All right, good morning friends, thank you for starting a
- 0:04Speaker 2: brand new week with us. Monday morning. Here we go
- 0:06Speaker 2: getting things started. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Singer Lola Young collapse while performing on stage over the weekend.
- 0:13Speaker 3: During her fifth song, she fell to the ground and
- 0:15Speaker 3: it looked like she had passed out for a moment.
- 0:18Speaker 3: Lola was taken off stage and later canceled her performance
- 0:20Speaker 3: that was scheduled for the next day. She did post
- 0:23Speaker 3: late Saturday to her Instagram saying, quote for anyone who
- 0:26Speaker 3: saw my set at All Things Go today, I am
- 0:29Speaker 3: doing okay now, Lola xxx. The day prior, she also
- 0:33Speaker 3: canceled a performance for a quote sensitive matter. So hopefully
- 0:37Speaker 3: she's okay. Hopefully she's getting some rest. This hopefully isn't
- 0:41Speaker 3: a bigger deal than maybe she's just exhausted and she
- 0:45Speaker 3: needs some time to rest. Obviously really scary stuff, but
- 0:48Speaker 3: hopefully she's just getting all the time that she needs
- 0:50Speaker 3: for herself to check in on herself. Red Bicycle Coffee
- 0:55Speaker 3: is closed its Slagship store in Germantown. Their Germantown location
- 0:58Speaker 3: has been around for fourteen years. Before it closed, they
- 1:02Speaker 3: haven't shared a reason for the closing with the public
- 1:04Speaker 3: just yet. But they have more locations around Nashville for
- 1:07Speaker 3: you to still get their crepes and coffee, so you
- 1:09Speaker 3: can check them out, you know, in the Nation's Woodbine.
- 1:11Speaker 3: They have a few other locations Aroount Middle Tennessee, so
- 1:14Speaker 3: there are other places for you to check them out.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Go support them, and obviously a bummer to see that
- 1:21Speaker 3: they closed in Germantown and Tyson has released Chicken Nugget Cups.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Tyson Chicken Nugget Cups are individually packed, microwavable pre cooked
- 1:29Speaker 3: chicken bites that are all inside of a cup that
- 1:31Speaker 3: are made easy for you to just take them on
- 1:33Speaker 3: the go. They have multiple varieties like grilled boneless chicken
- 1:36Speaker 3: bites and even mini Dino Nuggets. I don't know why
- 1:39Speaker 3: the Dino nuggets taste better, but they do. It's just
- 1:41Speaker 3: a fact. They are available in stores now. Obviously a
- 1:45Speaker 3: perfect stack for after school. I want them for after work.
- 1:49Speaker 3: I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
- 1:51Speaker 3: need to.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Know, Ricky, thank you so much. Coming up in a
- 1:54Speaker 2: few minutes. We have lay miz tickets like miz at
- 1:56Speaker 2: tea pack. You can get those for the first collar
- 1:58Speaker 2: this morning in all week. Right now, you're on the
- 2:00Speaker 2: limit coming.
- 2:01Speaker 4: Out one seven five Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 2:05Speaker 3: It's Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning. On one
- 2:06Speaker 3: O seven five The River. We are looking for our
- 2:09Speaker 3: first caller of the day. We have a pretty good
- 2:12Speaker 3: prize for a first caller of the day this week.
- 2:14Speaker 3: It's tickets to see Lames at Tea Pack. They're gonna
- 2:16Speaker 3: be there for a limited time in January, obviously a
- 2:19Speaker 3: huge prize. We got Bob in Murphysboro on the line.
- 2:22Speaker 3: Good morning, Bob, Good morning.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Yeah, you sound happy this morning.
- 2:27Speaker 5: I am pretty excited because you're talking on the radio.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Or are you excited because of your day today?
- 2:34Speaker 1: Both?
- 2:35Speaker 2: Okay, what's the day looks like, Bob? What's the day
- 2:37Speaker 2: look like?
- 2:37Speaker 1: Oh?
- 2:38Speaker 6: Just just work, excited about the show.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Yeah, we haven't quite told you if you're the first
- 2:44Speaker 2: caller of the day yet, but I mean, Ricky, you just
- 2:46Speaker 2: want to tell you.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Yeah, we can tell Bob you're the first caller of
- 2:49Speaker 3: the day on one O seven five The River.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Yeah, Bob. All I can think about is Bob the
- 2:54Speaker 2: bill there? Can he fixed it? Yes? He can't.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Yes, I can, Yeah, you can, Bob.
- 3:01Speaker 2: What do you do for a living? What is your day?
- 3:02Speaker 2: What are you doing today? What's work? So you are
- 3:06Speaker 2: a builder? Wow? I am?
- 3:08Speaker 3: It is literally Bob the Builder.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Can you please wear the overalls when you go to
- 3:13Speaker 2: tea pack?
- 3:15Speaker 1: I can?
- 3:16Speaker 3: Okay tell you that, Bob, where whatever you're comfortable in
- 3:19Speaker 3: that you do not wear overalls to tease dressed.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Like Bob the build a little hard hat, take a hammer.
- 3:24Speaker 3: I don't know if with the hammer that's true solid point,
- 3:28Speaker 3: very solid point. There are you know, metal detectors and
- 3:30Speaker 3: things like that, So maybe we stay away from that.
- 3:33Speaker 3: Kevin never has the good ideas, Bob.
- 3:35Speaker 6: I'm sure they're great.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Thank you. Sometimes there sometimes we're throwing two more tickets
- 3:40Speaker 3: from Bob. Okay, Kevin, Bob, thank you so much for
- 3:44Speaker 3: hanging out with us. We appreciate you so much, especially
- 3:46Speaker 3: this early in the morning. We hope you have so
- 3:48Speaker 3: much fun at Lemez. Thank you so much.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Yeah, we get more of these all week. That is
- 3:53Speaker 2: a big, big ticket. It's going to be a tea
- 3:55Speaker 2: pack in January. If you want in, you've be sitting
- 3:58Speaker 2: next to Bob when tomorrow same time.
- 4:00Speaker 1: One O seven five the River, Ricky, Zach.
- 4:02Speaker 4: And Mano in the Morning.
- 4:03Speaker 3: You have been talking about Secret Sabrina on one oh
- 4:06Speaker 3: seven five the River for what feels like a really
- 4:08Speaker 3: long time at this point, and we haven't been able
- 4:11Speaker 3: to give you any details except for the fact that
- 4:13Speaker 3: we are doing something called Secret Sabrina.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Yeah, and we're like two and a half minutes away
- 4:19Speaker 2: from finally giving you a little more information about those
- 4:22Speaker 2: people who have been calling, texting, sending dms. Who is
- 4:25Speaker 2: Secret Sabrina? What is Secret Sabrina? If you're curious, stick
- 4:29Speaker 2: around right after Benson boone we'll get into it a
- 4:31Speaker 2: bit more. We don't know it's coming. Just stay where
- 4:34Speaker 2: you are, go move.
- 4:36Speaker 4: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 4:38Speaker 1: On seven five the River.
- 4:41Speaker 2: All right, it's very exciting. It's one o seven to
- 4:43Speaker 2: five the River. It's time for Secret Sabrina. We've been
- 4:46Speaker 2: teasing this for a bit. We have not been able
- 4:47Speaker 2: to say anything about it. We don't know much about it,
- 4:49Speaker 2: to be honest with you. All we know is that
- 4:51Speaker 2: this is something we're doing here at the River. It's
- 4:53Speaker 2: essentially a citywide scavenger hunt for somebody that is our
- 4:57Speaker 2: secret Sabrina. We're gonna give you clues four times a day.
- 5:00Speaker 2: We don't know who this is, love, I'll say that
- 5:03Speaker 2: right now.
- 5:03Speaker 3: The idea here, though, is that if you figure out
- 5:06Speaker 3: who this is, you're gonna get tickets to see Sabrina
- 5:09Speaker 3: Carpenter here in Nashville, and you're running a trip to
- 5:12Speaker 3: see her at Madison Square Garden in New York. So
- 5:15Speaker 3: this is huge. You and us, we all together are
- 5:19Speaker 3: going to try and figure out who Secret Sabrina is.
- 5:21Speaker 2: So Ricky's gonna read our first clue here. See how
- 5:25Speaker 2: much this helps? You Write this down if you have to.
- 5:28Speaker 2: We're gonna figure this thing out together, all right.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Your first clue for Secret Sabrina.
- 5:32Speaker 5: I have my eyes closed.
- 5:33Speaker 2: I'm writing a.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Secret Sabrina in Nashville. You'll find. I'll give you some
- 5:37Speaker 3: clues to help you make up your mind. Ask at
- 5:40Speaker 3: the store, at the restaurant, or at the arena, are
- 5:43Speaker 3: you the one? O, seven, five the river Secret Sabrina.
- 5:46Speaker 3: The first person to find them and say those eight
- 5:48Speaker 3: words will be going home with the best rewards, not
- 5:52Speaker 3: only tickets and merch shopping spree, but also a trip
- 5:55Speaker 3: to see her in NYC.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Okay, so there's your first clue.
- 6:00Speaker 5: We have to go around and ask random people. Are
- 6:03Speaker 5: you one on seventy five of the river Secret Sabrina?
- 6:05Speaker 5: Based on these clues?
- 6:07Speaker 3: Correct, and the clues are going to get more and
- 6:09Speaker 3: more intense. Obviously, that's the first one. We're kind of,
- 6:12Speaker 3: you know, easing you into this idea of Secret Sabrina.
- 6:15Speaker 3: We have no idea who this is. I'm going to
- 6:17Speaker 3: tell you right now off of this first clue. It's
- 6:19Speaker 3: not very helpful.
- 6:20Speaker 2: They know just nothing at all.
- 6:21Speaker 3: It's not very helpful at all. I'm actually annoyed by
- 6:23Speaker 3: this first clue.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Well, I mean it, it explains the premise a bit.
- 6:28Speaker 2: You know, you go around asking people and you know
- 6:30Speaker 2: what you're gonna win.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Who is Secret Sabrina.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the question. We don't know. And that's what's.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Annoying is I want to know who Secret Sabrina is.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Well, nine fifty this morning, we have another clue, So
- 6:39Speaker 2: we're gonna do this six fifty, nine to fifty, and
- 6:41Speaker 2: then Jonathan has a clue at two fifty, and then
- 6:43Speaker 2: another clue at four fifty, So four times a day,
- 6:47Speaker 2: clues will be revealed, new clues every time to help
- 6:49Speaker 2: you identify the secret Sabrina. But yeah, this is a mystery.
- 6:53Speaker 3: I'm annoyed, dumped.
- 6:54Speaker 2: I don't think it's me. I'll say that right now.
- 6:56Speaker 2: But for your next clue secrets, Braina continues, this is
- 7:01Speaker 2: very exciting. Three things you need to know after seven o'clock.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Thank you so much for starting this brand new week
- 7:07Speaker 2: with us over here at the River. Ricky's got those
- 7:09Speaker 2: three things.
- 7:09Speaker 3: I have been receiving NonStop congratulation text and dms over
- 7:14Speaker 3: this news because this is a personal win for me.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Bad Bunny is going to perform the Super Bowl halftime show.
- 7:20Speaker 3: I'm so excited. It was announced last night during the
- 7:23Speaker 3: Sunday night game. Bad Bunny just came off of his
- 7:26Speaker 3: very successful residency in Puerto Rico that boosted the island's
- 7:29Speaker 3: economy over two hundred million dollars. He also had what
- 7:32Speaker 3: I think is the best part in Happy Gilmour two
- 7:35Speaker 3: movie this summer, as well as a movie that he
- 7:37Speaker 3: was in with Austin Butler. And he's gonna be the
- 7:40Speaker 3: host of the season premiere of SNL this Saturday. He's
- 7:43Speaker 3: just he's doing so much and he's doing phenomenal job,
- 7:47Speaker 3: just being great person. I'm so excited. He's just so talented.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Whether he's performing and singing and dancing or if he's acting,
- 7:56Speaker 3: he's insanely, insanely talented. This is a huge deal. I'm
- 7:58Speaker 3: so pumped for this. Okay, I just need to give
- 8:01Speaker 3: myself a second.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Of bree Congratulations, Reiki, Thank you, Kevin.
- 8:05Speaker 3: National sc will host a watch party for its first
- 8:08Speaker 3: ever US Open Cup Final. It's gonna happen Wednesday, October first,
- 8:11Speaker 3: So this Wednesday at Giodas Park's Public's Plaza. They'll have food, trucks, games, giveaways,
- 8:17Speaker 3: and free parking in lots five to seven ahead of
- 8:19Speaker 3: the seven pm kickoff First Austin FC. The event is
- 8:23Speaker 3: free with RSCP. Just head on over to their website
- 8:25Speaker 3: if you want to join in on the festivities. And
- 8:28Speaker 3: it turns out that using subtitles on your TV isn't
- 8:31Speaker 3: an old person thing to do anymore. A lot of
- 8:34Speaker 3: the younger generations are actually using them. A new poll
- 8:37Speaker 3: shows that nearly forty percent of adults under forty five
- 8:39Speaker 3: use subtitles regularly, compared to just thirty percent of adults
- 8:43Speaker 3: over forty five, and those over sixty said that they
- 8:46Speaker 3: mostly never use subtitles. So gen Z millennials biggest users,
- 8:51Speaker 3: and the reason why is because they multitask lot, so
- 8:54Speaker 3: it helps them keep up while multitasking. So while they're
- 8:57Speaker 3: cooking or cleaning and watching a TV show, they can
- 9:00Speaker 3: kind of make sure that they're focusing on everything equally
- 9:02Speaker 3: with the subtitles on, which I think is hilarious because
- 9:06Speaker 3: I always just made it an old person thing.
- 9:08Speaker 2: No, no, no, But honestly, I think I feel like
- 9:10Speaker 2: we turned our subtitles on when our kids were like
- 9:12Speaker 2: real little because I had heard that it helps little
- 9:14Speaker 2: kids learn how to read. Like it's it's going to aid. Yeah,
- 9:18Speaker 2: like if you're constantly seeing the words up there as
- 9:19Speaker 2: you're watching you know, Uh, I can't even think of
- 9:22Speaker 2: a kid show anymore because the don't wat kids shows anymore.
- 9:24Speaker 2: But uh blue the sure, let's go with Blue. Yeah,
- 9:27Speaker 2: it's gonna help you learn how to read.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Interesting. I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things
- 9:31Speaker 3: you need to know.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Thank you very much, Ricky. Right after Shaboozi, the learning continues,
- 9:36Speaker 2: It's time for Zack's Facts starting this week. With some
- 9:38Speaker 2: knowledge Zach has a good when he's standing by. We'll
- 9:41Speaker 2: get it next down the river.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Ricky Zach in meadow in the morning on.
- 9:46Speaker 3: All right, it's time for Zack sax on one of
- 9:48Speaker 3: seven five the River.
- 9:49Speaker 5: You guys know the movie The Terminator. Sure, Apparently the
- 9:52Speaker 5: script was written by James Cameron and he sold it
- 9:55Speaker 5: for one singular dollar. Correct, So he's the later a
- 9:59Speaker 5: producer Gale heard and that there was a strict condition
- 10:02Speaker 5: that James Camer had to be the director of it,
- 10:05Speaker 5: and so that was kind of like what jumped him
- 10:07Speaker 5: into Hollywood. Now he's like, I kind of regret selling
- 10:09Speaker 5: it for only one dollar because it was a super
- 10:11Speaker 5: successful movie.
- 10:13Speaker 2: I also know he's struggling to write another one because
- 10:16Speaker 2: of the reality of our world and AI and stuff,
- 10:18Speaker 2: and he doesn't want to write a movie that will
- 10:20Speaker 2: then be outdated before it can even come out. I mean,
- 10:22Speaker 2: that's fair, And there's your fact that the.
- 10:24Speaker 4: Day exactly, Ricky Zach and Menno in the morning.
- 10:27Speaker 1: On the river.
- 10:29Speaker 3: I recently experienced what I call a maintenance nightmare, and
- 10:32Speaker 3: I want to know if you've ever experienced one before.
- 10:36Speaker 3: It's one O seven five of the River. The other day,
- 10:38Speaker 3: I came home from work and I ate some food,
- 10:42Speaker 3: sat down on the couch and then I needed to
- 10:44Speaker 3: go train, like I work out, So before going to
- 10:48Speaker 3: go work out, I was like, oh, let me go
- 10:50Speaker 3: to the bathroom before I get in the car, because
- 10:52Speaker 3: you never know how long it's going to take to
- 10:53Speaker 3: get anywhere here in.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Nashville that little bladder.
- 10:55Speaker 3: So yeah, So I went to go to the bathroom,
- 10:58Speaker 3: went to flush my toilet, and the toilet didn't flush.
- 11:01Speaker 3: Now you're probably thinking, Okay, somebody clogged it. It was
- 11:04Speaker 3: probably you or your fiance. Incorrect, Because we had maintenance
- 11:10Speaker 3: come by. They had to do like their routine maintenance
- 11:12Speaker 3: checks on the place of like replacing air fl filters,
- 11:16Speaker 3: making sure that our fire detectors worked and everything like that.
- 11:20Speaker 3: And I am convinced that one of them used the toilet,
- 11:23Speaker 3: clogged it and then only unclogged it so much that
- 11:27Speaker 3: it actually like it looked like there was nothing in
- 11:29Speaker 3: the toilet.
- 11:32Speaker 2: So they had been in your apartment earlier that day
- 11:34Speaker 2: and then you realize the toilet was clogged.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Correct, the lights were all on in my apartment. I
- 11:38Speaker 3: was like, what is going on?
- 11:40Speaker 2: I mean, they're essentially you know, it's job security for
- 11:44Speaker 2: them if they cloged the toilets they're gonna be neat.
- 11:45Speaker 2: You're gonna have to call maintenance.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Yeah, Heaven, it's not a bad plan on their is
- 11:49Speaker 3: a nightmare six.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Seven, three seven nine, one oh seven. If you have
- 11:54Speaker 2: a maintenance nightmare like Ricky, we.
- 11:56Speaker 3: Want to hear when I say this was clogged, I'm
- 11:58Speaker 3: telling you it was clawed. I could not get into
- 12:02Speaker 3: flush for.
- 12:02Speaker 4: A Ricky is Zach and Nno.
- 12:07Speaker 2: In the morning on the river the river a second ago,
- 12:11Speaker 2: Ricky told us her story about the maintenance crew and
- 12:14Speaker 2: her building, her apartment building. They clogged her clogged my toilets.
- 12:18Speaker 3: They clogged my toilets so bad they made me late
- 12:21Speaker 3: for my appointment. It was a disaster. It was a nightmare.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Angel in Surma is on the line right now. She
- 12:27Speaker 2: agrees it was a nightmare. Do you have a maintenance
- 12:29Speaker 2: nightmare of your own?
- 12:30Speaker 7: Angel, Yes, So it's not like at my house. It
- 12:33Speaker 7: was a hotel. Me and my coworker went on a
- 12:37Speaker 7: trip and we get there, she uses the bathroom and
- 12:40Speaker 7: immediately it fully called. So we called him and let
- 12:43Speaker 7: him know. They turned somebody up. Said in we left
- 12:47Speaker 7: because we're there for a wedding trip actually, and we're
- 12:50Speaker 7: going all day. We got back, maybe at like two
- 12:52Speaker 7: o'clock in the morning. She goes and use the bathroom again,
- 12:55Speaker 7: and it's blogged again, and then she calls him and
- 12:58Speaker 7: they don't have anybody to come fix the situation until
- 13:01Speaker 7: seven o'clock in the morning. We got to go all
- 13:04Speaker 7: night without battles.
- 13:05Speaker 3: That is beyond frustrating, especially when you're paying to stay
- 13:09Speaker 3: somewhere for that.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Do you think it was a faulty toilet? Was this
- 13:12Speaker 2: friend of yours clogging the toilet?
- 13:15Speaker 7: I really think it was a hotel problem because there
- 13:18Speaker 7: was a phone right beside the toolt.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Did you say a bone a phone phone?
- 13:22Speaker 7: Yes, there was a phone right to.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Stop it.
- 13:27Speaker 3: Like, okay, we know this is gonna clog a bunch
- 13:29Speaker 3: of times. You leave the phone right next.
- 13:31Speaker 2: To Why not just leave a plunge o instead of
- 13:33Speaker 2: a phone?
- 13:35Speaker 7: I don't know. There was a telephone right there, and
- 13:38Speaker 7: I was just like a maintenance came and I was like,
- 13:40Speaker 7: how these called them? She's like, there's a phone without
- 13:42Speaker 7: the toilet.
- 13:42Speaker 3: I said, oh my goodness, that is wild angel also
- 13:45Speaker 3: very frustrating. And now I'm starting to think that maybe
- 13:48Speaker 3: it's just toilets everywhere.
- 13:49Speaker 2: That are r Weight Angel. Thank you for calling. I
- 13:52Speaker 2: appreciate the story. Thank you, fella.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Uh.
- 13:56Speaker 2: The worst feeling in the world is if you're at
- 13:58Speaker 2: a friend's house or somebody else's house in the toilet,
- 14:00Speaker 2: you know, you flush it in the toilet starts to rise,
- 14:02Speaker 2: the water rises instead of going down.
- 14:05Speaker 3: Oh yes, yep, you start to sweat. Your heart is
- 14:08Speaker 3: going to jump out of your chest.
- 14:10Speaker 1: The River Ricky, Zach and Manow in the Morning five
- 14:13Speaker 1: The River.
- 14:14Speaker 3: I had a maintenance nightmare recently where they clogged my toilet,
- 14:18Speaker 3: and it was very devastating for me. But I'm starting
- 14:20Speaker 3: to feel a little bit better because it turns out
- 14:22Speaker 3: I'm not the only one.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Just to reiterate that the maintenance people at your apartment
- 14:27Speaker 2: building there ones that clogged the toilet.
- 14:28Speaker 3: Correct, they used my toilet and clogged the toilet. Sherry
- 14:32Speaker 3: and Bowling Green. You said you have a maintenance nightmare,
- 14:34Speaker 3: but this one is very different because it's your husband.
- 14:38Speaker 6: Yes, my husband loves to think that he can do
- 14:42Speaker 6: it all. My kids bought up the new dishworser for
- 14:45Speaker 6: Christmas nice and he was going to install it and
- 14:49Speaker 6: I said, well, honey, I think a lot more goes
- 14:52Speaker 6: into stalling a dishwarser than pulling it out and then
- 14:55Speaker 6: putting it back in. The Next thing I know, I'm
- 14:57Speaker 6: running into the kitchen and there is water going everywhere,
- 15:03Speaker 6: feeling the water is going in his face. It's this
- 15:08Speaker 6: little hoob that is spraying water everywhere. I have a
- 15:12Speaker 6: moat of beech cows all around because there's so much water.
- 15:17Speaker 6: He sends me outside to turn the water off. It's
- 15:22Speaker 6: not outside, it's under the sea.
- 15:26Speaker 3: Went outside and.
- 15:27Speaker 6: He wanted me to bring the hose so he could
- 15:30Speaker 6: put that little tube that was spraying out of the
- 15:32Speaker 6: water down in the hose and go outside. So if
- 15:35Speaker 6: you go out, I mean.

- 20:06Speaker 2: the Taylor release party.
- 20:08Speaker 8: Awesome, thank you.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 20:11Speaker 2: The past eight o'clock on this Monday morning. Ricky Sanchez
- 20:13Speaker 2: is right here with those three things.
- 20:15Speaker 3: Students are suing the University of the South and SAWANEE
- 20:18Speaker 3: for living conditions. Seven current and former students alleged that
- 20:22Speaker 3: black mold in their rooms made them seriously sick and
- 20:25Speaker 3: disrupted their education. So in the lawsuit, their lawyers pointed
- 20:28Speaker 3: out that the students experienced things like random nosebleeds, headaches, fever, asthma,
- 20:33Speaker 3: and more due to the state of their dorms. The
- 20:36Speaker 3: lawsuit also refers to an independent test that found penicillin
- 20:40Speaker 3: mold levels inside the two students dorm rooms were two
- 20:44Speaker 3: two hundred times higher than the levels found outside of
- 20:47Speaker 3: the room. This eventually led to the finding of black mold.
- 20:51Speaker 3: The students are suing the university for thirty five million dollars.
- 20:54Speaker 3: I will keep you posted on that. Big congrats are
- 20:58Speaker 3: in order for Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco. They got
- 21:01Speaker 3: married over the weekend and while there aren't many details
- 21:04Speaker 3: that have been revealed, there are people saying that both
- 21:08Speaker 3: Taylor Swift and ed sheeronhead speeches at the wedding. So
- 21:11Speaker 3: I'm sure that that was just insane. Like I'm just
- 21:15Speaker 3: the thought of the two of them doing speeches during
- 21:18Speaker 3: this wedding is wild to hear. There are some photos
- 21:20Speaker 3: that are circulating online as well, so I will repost
- 21:22Speaker 3: some of them on our stories in our Instagram page.
- 21:25Speaker 3: At one of seven five of the river, Selena looked phenomenal,
- 21:29Speaker 3: so it's absolutely stunning at her wedding. Congrats to both
- 21:31Speaker 3: of them and Spirit Christmas is expanding to thirty stores
- 21:35Speaker 3: This year, Spirit Halloween's Spirit Christmas, the little spinoff is
- 21:39Speaker 3: tripling in size. They tested ten locations last year, which
- 21:43Speaker 3: apparently did very well, which is why they're rolling out
- 21:45Speaker 3: more spots, some in the Midwest, more along the Northeast.
- 21:49Speaker 3: Shoppers can expect things like over the top to core
- 21:52Speaker 3: holiday apparel, quirky little gifts. There's a bunch of interactive displays,
- 21:57Speaker 3: Santa Photos set up all that stuff. We had to
- 22:01Speaker 3: put Christmas music on, didn't you.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Oh yeah, thank you for talking about Christmas.
- 22:05Speaker 3: The closest one to us is Lexington, Kentucky. I'm Ricky
- 22:08Speaker 3: Sanchez and those are the three things you need to know.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Ricky, thank you very much. This early Ricky Sancha is
- 22:14Speaker 2: our very own French was going to get us on
- 22:16Speaker 2: on the Christmas spirit.
- 22:17Speaker 3: I am not trying to get anybody in the Christmas spirit,
- 22:18Speaker 3: and I was trying to give information so that people
- 22:20Speaker 3: can know what's happening. There's no reason to be playing
- 22:22Speaker 3: Deck the Halls by Kenny.
- 22:23Speaker 4: G Right now, Ricky is Zach and Mano in the
- 22:27Speaker 4: Morning On.
- 22:30Speaker 3: It's been revealed that Ed Sheeran found out about Taylor
- 22:32Speaker 3: Swift's engagement on Instagram, like the rest.
- 22:36Speaker 2: Of us, that's crazy.
- 22:37Speaker 3: It's one of seven five the River. Have you ever
- 22:40Speaker 3: found out about a close friend's big moment through social media?
- 22:42Speaker 3: This is becoming more of like a normal thing for
- 22:46Speaker 3: people to experience because social media is such a big
- 22:48Speaker 3: part of our lives, and Kevin, you've experienced this.
- 22:50Speaker 2: It's literally just happened to me this weekend. Ricky my
- 22:53Speaker 2: best friend. His name is Gordon. He and I went
- 22:55Speaker 2: to college together. We had a radio show in college together.
- 22:57Speaker 2: He also does radio open like the Chicago area. And
- 23:00Speaker 2: I know that he recently lost his job as radio
- 23:02Speaker 2: station was sold whatever. And I knew that, and I
- 23:04Speaker 2: talked to him about it, and I had been meeting
- 23:06Speaker 2: to check in with him, like how's it going, any prospects,
- 23:09Speaker 2: what's going on? And then he posted on Instagram over
- 23:11Speaker 2: the weekend that he got this great, huge new job
- 23:14Speaker 2: and I had no idea. I kept meaning to check
- 23:16Speaker 2: in with him and I didn't, and then I found
- 23:18Speaker 2: out on Instagram and I text him immediately. I was like,
- 23:20Speaker 2: oh my god, I'm sorry, I'm just finding out about
- 23:22Speaker 2: this like this, but it just had check in with
- 23:24Speaker 2: your friends, That's that's all I'm well to him. Yeah,
- 23:27Speaker 2: that big deal for Gordon. I'm very happy for him.
- 23:31Speaker 3: That's yeah. Also, you're not a bad friend, Kevin. Life
- 23:35Speaker 3: gets very hectic, Yes it does. Life gets very hectic,
- 23:38Speaker 3: But that's a good note for people to check in
- 23:40Speaker 3: with their friends.
- 23:41Speaker 2: Zach.
- 23:41Speaker 3: You also have a story of this happening to you.
- 23:43Speaker 2: You guys.
- 23:43Speaker 5: I found out that my grandpa died on Facebook.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Oh my god, and I wish I was being dramatic,
- 23:49Speaker 2: much more serious than mine.
- 23:50Speaker 3: I don't know what else to do except for black
- 23:53Speaker 3: right now. And I know that's right reaction. I mean
- 23:57Speaker 3: that reaction. I just don't know what else to do.
- 23:59Speaker 2: It was bizarre.
- 24:00Speaker 5: It was my grandpa on my biological father's side, so
- 24:02Speaker 5: like we weren't super close with them, but we would
- 24:04Speaker 5: go like every summer when we were kids to hang
- 24:06Speaker 5: out with them. And we literally saw my grandma on
- 24:09Speaker 5: that side post on Facebook that he passed away, and
- 24:12Speaker 5: I was like.
- 24:13Speaker 2: What, I had no idea he was even sick.
- 24:16Speaker 5: It was so wid My sister is and when that
- 24:18Speaker 5: texted me was like, fun, fact found out on Facebook
- 24:21Speaker 5: Grandpa John died.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Okay, my condolence is Zach, I'm sorry, It's fine.
- 24:27Speaker 3: I don't have anything to say to that.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Whether it was a wedding or a new job or
- 24:33Speaker 2: a passing, did you find something out on social media
- 24:36Speaker 2: instead of in person? Getting that phone called six, one, five, seven, three, seven, nine,
- 24:40Speaker 2: one and seven and again, Zach, I'm very sorry.
- 24:43Speaker 1: One seven five of the River, Ricky, Zach and Mano
- 24:45Speaker 1: in the morning.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Jamie Mount Juliet is on the phone. Jamie, we were
- 24:48Speaker 2: talking about finding something out, like a big life moment
- 24:52Speaker 2: in somebody's life, from social media instead of real life.
- 24:55Speaker 2: This is inspired by Ed Sheer and finding out that
- 24:58Speaker 2: Taylor Swift got engaged. He found out just like the
- 25:00Speaker 2: rest of us on Instagram. So what was it for you?
- 25:02Speaker 8: So I too found out that my grand grand had
- 25:06Speaker 8: passed away on social media?
- 25:08Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, so you Oh yes, yes, kind of
- 25:14Speaker 3: a petty move with like family members, but yeah, just
- 25:17Speaker 3: no one intentionally called me.
- 25:19Speaker 8: So I found out a day later on social media.
- 25:22Speaker 5: Got is so messed up, Jamie. I'm so sorry, because
- 25:24Speaker 5: I know exactly how it feels. It's like a smack
- 25:26Speaker 5: in the face of like.
- 25:27Speaker 2: What he Yeah, well it's two snacks in the face.
- 25:29Speaker 2: I mean, obviously you're getting terrible news. But also you're
- 25:32Speaker 2: getting it in this weird petty way.
- 25:34Speaker 6: Yes exactly.
- 25:36Speaker 3: Oh my god, sorry Jamie, but I mean you're not alone.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Zach's cot wearing this together.
- 25:42Speaker 6: Of course.
- 25:43Speaker 3: Thank you for calling in. Let we will be of
- 25:44Speaker 3: an amazing day today. I'm sorry if you're lost, you
- 25:46Speaker 3: don't have a great day too. Yes, Robin and Murphy's Boro,
- 25:49Speaker 3: tell us what you found out about on social media.
- 25:52Speaker 8: So I have this best friend and we've grown up together,
- 25:55Speaker 8: and I most to Tennessee about ten years ago from Michigan,
- 25:59Speaker 8: and we kept in close contact. And one day I
- 26:03Speaker 8: logged on to Facebook to see that she had gotten
- 26:05Speaker 8: married and didn't even like call me and say, hey,
- 26:09Speaker 8: I'm engaged. Do you want to come and visit or
- 26:12Speaker 8: anything like that. And I just found out, sir Facebook,
- 26:15Speaker 8: and we grew up and planned to be at each
- 26:18Speaker 8: other's weddings.
- 26:19Speaker 5: That is kind of it's crazy that it wasn't even
- 26:21Speaker 5: like you found out that she was engaged, but she's
- 26:22Speaker 5: full blown married.
- 26:24Speaker 3: Wait, Robin, was a full wedding with bridesmaids and everything,
- 26:28Speaker 3: where like you weren't even asked to be a bridesmaid either.
- 26:31Speaker 8: No, not bridesmaids, but it was like a pretty full wedding,
- 26:34Speaker 8: like she had her close friends and her family and
- 26:38Speaker 8: stuff and beautiful wedding gowns and dresses and stuff.
- 26:42Speaker 6: And it was very hard for me to find that out.
- 26:46Speaker 2: And now you have us as friends. So screw the Michigan,
- 26:51Speaker 2: screw her. One seven five of the River, Ricky, Zach
- 26:56Speaker 2: and Mano in the morning time for the daily double
- 26:58Speaker 2: tap every day about this time a bit four nine o'clock,
- 27:00Speaker 2: we play some audio from a video that one of
- 27:02Speaker 2: us finds and yeah, I found this one. I sent
- 27:04Speaker 2: it to Ricky and Zach because I am known as
- 27:07Speaker 2: the old guy in our group. I'm forty two years old,
- 27:10Speaker 2: and it's hard to keep up with all the slang,
- 27:12Speaker 2: the lingo, the acronym.
- 27:13Speaker 3: You have no idea what anyone's saying at any given point,
- 27:16Speaker 3: literally zero personal asks us constantly what things mean.
- 27:20Speaker 2: And I love that I have you guys for that, really,
- 27:22Speaker 2: so I thank you enough, thank you. This one has
- 27:25Speaker 2: to do with the acronym. If you know, you know
- 27:26Speaker 2: the iyk y case. You have to visualize that as
- 27:30Speaker 2: we play today's daily double tap. Here we go.
- 27:32Speaker 9: You're ever feeling out of touch with all the gen
- 27:34Speaker 9: z lingo.
- 27:35Speaker 3: Just know that.
- 27:35Speaker 9: For the longest time, I thought that the acronym if
- 27:39Speaker 9: you know you know was a new way of laughing,
- 27:41Speaker 9: like lmfao, but imitating Goofy's laugh, Like, so, yeah.
- 27:47Speaker 3: He does it, really good, goofy he does.
- 27:49Speaker 5: That's also how I picture Kevin like reading Instagram captions
- 27:53Speaker 5: that have the if you know you know acronym. Kevin's
- 27:55Speaker 5: reading them and he's like, does the goofy laugh? Because
- 27:57Speaker 5: he has no idea what it means.
- 27:59Speaker 2: I'm sure I get my most of I'm wrong in
- 28:00Speaker 2: my head as I'm seeing these things. I'm fine that
- 28:03Speaker 2: that's again. That's why I have you guys. By the way,
- 28:06Speaker 2: what a six seven?
- 28:07Speaker 3: It's like everything and nothing all at the same time.
- 28:10Speaker 3: It's I don't understand fully, but it seems like even
- 28:14Speaker 3: the kids that say it don't understand fully.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Okay, all right, so I'm not crazy on that one.
- 28:18Speaker 3: Now, you're not.
- 28:19Speaker 2: Nobody really knows what that one is.
- 28:20Speaker 3: Yeah, it means everything and nothing.
- 28:23Speaker 5: It doesn't have a significant meaning, like a specific meaning.
- 28:26Speaker 3: Yeah, not specific.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Yes, so I can just use seven six.
- 28:31Speaker 4: Seven, Yeah, Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning on
- 28:34Speaker 1: One oh seven five the river
