- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, Pittsburgh, it's Pat from Tarpsoft Radio. Viewer discretion is advised,
- 0:05Speaker 1: and thanks for tuning in. Here we go. Sometimes we're drunk.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Sometimes we're stoned.
- 0:37Speaker 1: We're your Pittsburgh Steelers.
- 0:40Speaker 3: Home.
- 0:44Speaker 2: It is time to take your tarps off, Pittsburgh. It's
- 0:46Speaker 2: your formerly Tuesday, now Wednesday morning, 8 a.m. slot and
- 0:49Speaker 2: tarps off radio. I am your host, McJingy. Beside me
- 0:52Speaker 2: is your co-host, Pat. Intern producer, Doobie, behind the boards.
- 0:55Speaker 2: The new era of football in Pittsburgh is here. Coach
- 0:58Speaker 2: Big Mike McCarthy gets his first win as a Steeler,
- 1:01Speaker 2: getting gifted the game ball from Aaron Rodgers, a testament
- 1:05Speaker 2: that Yinzer wet dreams do come true. Plenty to talk
- 1:08Speaker 2: about today, but first, Pat, tell us what you're drinking,
- 1:10Speaker 2: how you're feeling.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Well, Nick Gigi, my dick is as hard as a
- 1:16Speaker 1: broad's butt plug.
- 1:18Speaker 4: I'm fucking fired up.
- 1:20Speaker 1: I came home bright and early, took a red eye
- 1:23Speaker 1: to the Steeler game on Sunday.
- 1:25Speaker 4: Missed most of the tailgate.
- 1:27Speaker 1: I was at a bachelor party in Chicago watching the
- 1:30Speaker 1: Buccos win. Then I watched the Buccos fucking blow it
- 1:33Speaker 1: in the eighth from Soto. So, uh, long story short, McGingy,
- 1:37Speaker 1: I've decided to forego the, the drinking this episode instead.
- 1:42Speaker 1: do a little bonus edition of Pat gets too fucked
- 1:45Speaker 1: up to finish an episode. And I'm going to take
- 1:47Speaker 1: a 10 milligram gummy right now.
- 1:50Speaker 2: And all the people at home.
- 1:51Speaker 4: Can, can listen to me get high in real time.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. You know, what's crazy. I, we didn't
- 1:57Speaker 2: even plan this. I'm also foregoing drinks as I got
- 2:01Speaker 2: too fucked up all weekend. I got a little bit
- 2:03Speaker 2: of a head cold thing going on. So let me
- 2:07Speaker 2: listen to this one, Pat. You ready?
- 2:11Speaker 4: Oh, you're underwater, McChiggy.
- 2:14Speaker 1: You're snorkeling.
- 2:14Speaker 2: A lot of fish. A lot of fish down here.
- 2:18Speaker 4: There's that bubbling noise again.
- 2:20Speaker 2: A lot of fish down here, Pat.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I'm underwater.
- 2:25Speaker 4: Give me an edible countdown.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Five, four, three, two, one.
- 2:39Speaker 1: All right.
- 2:40Speaker 2: This is going to be a show, isn't it? Let's
- 2:45Speaker 2: kick it over to ourselves for the game recap. The
- 3:00Speaker 2: opening kick of Steelers football is here. A new era.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Mike McCarthy, an offensive-minded coach, and the moment we've all
- 3:07Speaker 2: been waiting for, and it quickly starts with a three
- 3:09Speaker 2: and out after two Rodgers incompletions. Falcons get the ball
- 3:13Speaker 2: off the punt, and it's now their turn to go
- 3:15Speaker 2: three and out. They punt it right back. Steelers start
- 3:18Speaker 2: at their own 32, and a 21-yard grab from Michael
- 3:22Speaker 2: Pittman has them knocking on the door before a few
- 3:24Speaker 2: incompletions force them to settle for a 43-yard field goal
- 3:28Speaker 2: from Boz. Kick is up and good. Steelers 3, Falcons nothing.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Steelers hold tight on Atlanta's second drive, forcing them to
- 3:34Speaker 2: punt the ball yet again. Steelers get the ball back.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Jalen Warren with a few touches in a row on
- 3:39Speaker 2: the Steelers' drive before he fumbles it. Turns it over
- 3:42Speaker 2: to Atlanta at the Steelers' 27-yard line. And on third
- 3:45Speaker 2: and eight, Cooper Rush hits Bijon in the flat. And
- 3:47Speaker 2: Jalen Ramsey isn't quick enough to get over there. Atlanta
- 3:50Speaker 2: with the first touchdown of the day. 23-yard screen pass
- 3:53Speaker 2: to Bijon. Steelers 3, Falcons 7. On to the second quarter.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Rodgers with the ball back to start the second quarter.
- 3:59Speaker 2: He's been full of deep shots early that haven't connected.
- 4:01Speaker 2: This one to Roman Wilson resulting in a 37-yard DPI
- 4:05Speaker 2: putting the Steelers in the red zone. But unfortunately, the
- 4:08Speaker 2: drive stalls yet again, and the Steelers are forced to
- 4:11Speaker 2: settle for another field goal. Boz is good from 28
- 4:13Speaker 2: yards this time. Steelers 6, Falcons 7. Atlanta gets the
- 4:17Speaker 2: ball back and on their first play of the possession.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Gateway's finest Jaquan Brisker makes his homecoming and gets the
- 4:23Speaker 2: Steelers' first interception of the year. First interception for him,
- 4:27Speaker 2: the black and gold. Welcome home, Jaquan. Steelers make quick
- 4:31Speaker 2: work of their next possession. Rodgers finding Muth in the
- 4:35Speaker 2: back of the end zone for the six-yard touchdown. Steelers 13,
- 4:38Speaker 2: Falcons 7. Falcons, punt. Steelers, punt. Zachariah Branch with a
- 4:43Speaker 2: good return, putting the Falcons immediately in field goal range.
- 4:46Speaker 2: They stall out and settle for three, but Nick Fultz
- 4:49Speaker 2: misses his first kick of the day. Steelers with the
- 4:52Speaker 2: ball back at midfield, and they quickly turn it over
- 4:55Speaker 2: on Downs on a botched field goal attempt that left
- 4:57Speaker 2: Bill Burr to take a knockout punch. They give it
- 4:59Speaker 2: right back to Atlanta. Falcons run the clock out, midfield,
- 5:03Speaker 2: punt to end the half. Lots of bad football the
- 5:05Speaker 2: last 10 minutes of that half. More ugly football ahead
- 5:10Speaker 2: as the second half starts with another Nick Fulton missed
- 5:12Speaker 2: field goal. Steelers get the ball, three and out, punt.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Falcons get the ball back, punt. Midway through the third now,
- 5:18Speaker 2: and it's the Steelers' chance to extend the lead. Fourth
- 5:20Speaker 2: and three, and they are going for it. A deep
- 5:22Speaker 2: shot to D.K.
- 5:23Speaker 5: No!
- 5:23Speaker 2: Steelers turn it over on downs. Falcons with the ball midfield,
- 5:27Speaker 2: but they're still going nowhere. This time, Nick Folk drills
- 5:30Speaker 2: the 51-yarder, and it's a 13-10 Steelers football. Steelers get
- 5:33Speaker 2: the ball to start the fourth quarter here. Go three
- 5:36Speaker 2: and out yet again. Rodgers and D.K. failing to connect
- 5:39Speaker 2: on third down for what seems like the 10th time
- 5:41Speaker 2: of the afternoon.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Fine.
- 5:43Speaker 2: But who shows up consistently with the game on line?
- 5:45Speaker 2: As they call his name on the Jumbotron, T.J. Watt
- 5:48Speaker 2: reads Cooper Rush like a.
- 5:50Speaker 6: Book, picks him off, stumbles, fumbles, and fumbles his way
- 5:53Speaker 6: into the.
- 5:53Speaker 2: End zone to put the Steelers up by two scores.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Steelers 20, Falcons 10. Nick Folk drills another one to
- 5:59Speaker 2: put the Falcons within seven. 20-13, and that's pretty much
- 6:03Speaker 2: how the.
- 6:03Speaker 4: Game ended there.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Nothing more exciting, just a couple of runs, a couple
- 6:07Speaker 2: of runs. Darnell murdered somebody, that's about it. Steelers win,
- 6:11Speaker 2: cover the spread, 20-13.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Steelers 20, Falcons 13. Steelers cover the spread, started at 3.5,
- 6:24Speaker 2: boosted up to 6.5 towards game time there. Touchdowns by
- 6:29Speaker 2: Pat Friermuth and T.J.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Watts.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Chris Boswell, two field goals in there as well. Pat,
- 6:38Speaker 2: a lot of people are saying, I got a big
- 6:40Speaker 2: question for you. A lot of people are saying after
- 6:42Speaker 2: this game, well, what are you spinning there? Are you
- 6:44Speaker 2: spinning a coin, a dreidel? What are you spinning over there?
- 6:46Speaker 1: You know, Pat or McGinty, I might've been the one
- 6:49Speaker 1: to get you sick. I had, I had a bit
- 6:53Speaker 1: of a cold all last week. So, you know, just
- 6:56Speaker 1: throwing that out there. It might be on me.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Okay. Well, thanks for the heads up. I also, the season, our,
- 7:02Speaker 2: our fellow seat neighbors, you know, she did tell me
- 7:06Speaker 2: she was sick and we swapped some drinks. So I, I,
- 7:09Speaker 2: You know, you.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Got to do what you got to do. That's not
- 7:12Speaker 1: on me then. I take that back. I wasn't even
- 7:14Speaker 1: sick last week. What were you going to ask?
- 7:16Speaker 4: I think I know what you're going to ask.
- 7:18Speaker 2: A lot of people were saying. You can kind of
- 7:21Speaker 2: tell in Pittsburgh who really paid attention to the game
- 7:24Speaker 2: and who had it on in the background and who
- 7:26Speaker 2: was just kind of, you know, there to drink. It's
- 7:29Speaker 2: the same old Steelers as if Mike Tomlin was the coach,
- 7:34Speaker 2: as if Arthur Smith was the O.C., as if Terrell
- 7:37Speaker 2: Austin was back there calling plays on defense. It's the
- 7:40Speaker 2: same old Steelers, same old Steelers. Pat, what did you
- 7:44Speaker 2: see out there? Is this the same old Steelers?
- 7:46Speaker 1: Well, it's like biting into a Cadbury egg, expecting a
- 7:51Speaker 1: Reese's egg, McJingy. It might look kind of the same
- 7:55Speaker 1: on the outside, but really it was completely different.
- 7:58Speaker 2: It's not the same.
- 8:00Speaker 4: I don't like Cadbury eggs at all.
- 8:01Speaker 1: I'll fucking spit that gooey fucking cummy nougat right out.
- 8:05Speaker 1: I'll eat Reese's Pieces until I get fucking peanut butter overdose, McGinty.
- 8:10Speaker 1: What I'm saying is, yeah, you look at the end results.
- 8:14Speaker 1: They were kind of similar in the sense that it
- 8:15Speaker 1: was a close game against a bad team that we
- 8:18Speaker 1: should have blown out. But that's kind of where the
- 8:20Speaker 1: similarities end, McGinty. I mean, you saw, what, 40 passes
- 8:26Speaker 1: from Aaron Rodgers. You saw a completely new style of
- 8:29Speaker 1: defense that I am so fucking excited to talk about. So,
- 8:34Speaker 1: you know, the end of the game, you know, the
- 8:37Speaker 1: bottom line might look similar.
- 8:39Speaker 4: And also seeing T.J.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Watt make a play like that and winning essentially on
- 8:45Speaker 1: a defensive touchdown, right? That kind of looked a little similar,
- 8:48Speaker 1: but there are more things different about this Steelers team
- 8:52Speaker 1: than similar.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Yeah, not going to lie, Pat, you were saying Caterbury eggs,
- 8:58Speaker 2: and it threw me for a whole loop. I sat
- 9:00Speaker 2: over here for the next minute thinking, because I thought
- 9:03Speaker 2: it was Cadbury, and then I'm like, you know, it's
- 9:06Speaker 2: definitely Cadbury. I had to Google it. It's Cadbury, C-A-D-B-U-R-Y. Caterbury.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Not Caterbury.
- 9:13Speaker 4: Caterbury. Caterpillar eggs. You ever had a caterpillar egg?
- 9:16Speaker 2: If you think that this was the same Steelers team,
- 9:20Speaker 2: you did not watch the game. The game was entirely–
- 9:23Speaker 2: we didn't see anything like it. They ran the ball, what,
- 9:27Speaker 2: 14 times, Pat?
- 9:29Speaker 1: They didn't run the ball well.
- 9:32Speaker 2: No, they did not run the ball well.
- 9:34Speaker 4: That looked like the same old Steelers.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Yeah. They ran the ball 18 times, not including Rodgers'
- 9:41Speaker 2: three knees, and they threw the ball 41 times. 40
- 9:45Speaker 2: times if you don't include Cam Johnston getting absolutely lit
- 9:48Speaker 2: up on that pass. So Rodgers was 24-40. And Jalen
- 9:52Speaker 2: Warren had 10 carries. Rico Dotto had eight carries. They
- 9:55Speaker 2: were a throw first team. Pat, I've been waiting to
- 10:00Speaker 2: see this type of aggressiveness out of a Steelers team
- 10:02Speaker 2: for years. They were throwing to set up the run.
- 10:08Speaker 1: No, it was.
- 10:09Speaker 4: Yeah, you're exactly right.
- 10:11Speaker 1: And I think that a lot of the drops that
- 10:13Speaker 1: we saw obviously, you know, really stunted the yards down
- 10:19Speaker 1: the field and, We get some of those drops under control.
- 10:23Speaker 4: I think it'll really look like a different Steelers team.
- 10:26Speaker 2: I'm not sure how many of those even show up
- 10:28Speaker 2: in the stat sheet. I know DK probably had one
- 10:32Speaker 2: for sure that showed up in the stat sheet, but
- 10:35Speaker 2: there's a couple other balls that he needed.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I tried to find that for a Pat stat,
- 10:40Speaker 1: but it would have taken me going back and watching
- 10:43Speaker 1: the game again and jotting my own down. making sure
- 10:47Speaker 1: that I throw out the hard, ticky-tacky catches and only
- 10:51Speaker 1: count the easy catches, which DK dropped a few easy balls.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Yeah, and he wasn't the only one. Roman Wilson had
- 10:59Speaker 2: a bad one too.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Roman Wilson, I don't see it anywhere in our outline,
- 11:04Speaker 1: so I might as well say it now. He might
- 11:07Speaker 1: be first-team all-pro pass interference calls, right? I mean, every
- 11:12Speaker 1: time there's a contested catch– He's going to look to
- 11:15Speaker 1: get a pass interference call.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Yeah, he should have had another one that they didn't call.
- 11:20Speaker 2: He had the one on the 37-yard DPI, helped set
- 11:24Speaker 2: up some points there, but he should have had two.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Officiating was bad all in all.
- 11:29Speaker 2: It was bad, Pat, and I'm a little worried about
- 11:32Speaker 2: the officiating. Do you know what channel the Super Bowl
- 11:35Speaker 2: is on this year?
- 11:37Speaker 4: Go ahead, tell the people. I already know what you're saying.
- 11:39Speaker 2: The Super Bowl is on ESPN this year. Do you
- 11:42Speaker 2: think that... Let's say hypothetically, I mean, I'm not hypothetical.
- 11:48Speaker 2: ESPN hates Rodgers. ESPN hates that Rodgers was able to
- 11:52Speaker 2: go on their network and was able to spit what
- 11:55Speaker 2: they call unscience, nonsense, harmful words, yada, yada, yada, some
- 12:03Speaker 2: woke agenda bullshit. they're going to put the head out
- 12:07Speaker 2: on the Steelers this year. They do not want Aaron
- 12:09Speaker 2: Rodgers or the Steelers competing in that Super Bowl just
- 12:12Speaker 2: so that he can get more airtime on their waves.
- 12:16Speaker 2: I'm with you, McChinchy.
- 12:18Speaker 1: I'm with you. And who owns ESPN? Disney.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Yeah. And let's not act like the NFL isn't perfect
- 12:25Speaker 2: or is perfect. Let's remind ourselves that every year we
- 12:30Speaker 2: sit at a game in January or late December and
- 12:33Speaker 2: we're like, oh, You know, this one kind of looks one-sided,
- 12:39Speaker 2: kind of looks like the NFL is stepping in. We
- 12:43Speaker 2: see it all the time with Vegas and the lines.
- 12:46Speaker 2: You know, Vegas knows a line like the back of
- 12:48Speaker 2: their hand. There's doubt that creeps in your head. I'm
- 12:51Speaker 2: just saying, let's think about it on the refs.
- 12:54Speaker 4: Keep your eyes open this year.
- 12:55Speaker 2: Keep your eyes open this year.
- 12:57Speaker 4: I love a scapegoat as much as the next guy.
- 12:59Speaker 4: I'm all in. I'm all in on that, McChangie.
- 13:04Speaker 1: So a lot of changes. I talked in my pep
- 13:07Speaker 1: talk last week about a lot of the changes going
- 13:11Speaker 1: on with this team, McJingy. The offensive line, for starters,
- 13:16Speaker 1: only one position remained steady from last year. That's the center, right?
- 13:21Speaker 1: Moving some people around, bringing in some new talents. And
- 13:25Speaker 1: I've been saying it this whole offseason too, right? It's
- 13:28Speaker 1: going to get a lot worse before it gets better.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Is that what we saw out there on Sunday, McJingy?
- 13:34Speaker 2: I saw improvement. I saw improvement from the preseason. You know,
- 13:40Speaker 2: they looked a little bit more formidable out there than
- 13:42Speaker 2: they did in the, you know, the one or two
- 13:44Speaker 2: drives they had in preseason. I don't know what that was, Pat.
- 13:48Speaker 2: It seemed a little fluky looking back.
- 13:50Speaker 1: We'll get into individual players in our studs and stiffs
- 13:54Speaker 1: because I think they all found their way on one
- 13:57Speaker 1: of those categories some way or another. But yeah, I mean,
- 14:00Speaker 1: there were a couple of plays that We're just really impressive.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Rodgers had a play in the first quarter where I
- 14:08Speaker 1: counted six Mississippis, McGingey, to let go of the ball.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Even that little scramble touchdown he had to– It's a
- 14:16Speaker 1: whole lot of Mississippis. Yeah. Even that Muth scramble touchdown,
- 14:20Speaker 1: I thought the line did a good job. He scrambled out.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Defensive end dropped in the coverage, was chasing him down,
- 14:25Speaker 1: and he threw it to Muth. So there are some
- 14:28Speaker 1: bright spots, some spots where you're like, damn. But there
- 14:31Speaker 1: was a lot of bad, too. A lot of individual
- 14:34Speaker 1: players that were just getting beats by a bunch of
- 14:37Speaker 1: scrubs on this Atlanta team.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I have a stat here, and I don't want
- 14:44Speaker 2: to pre-stat your upcoming Pat stats because I know Pat
- 14:46Speaker 2: stats matter. My stats are kind of just like a fiddle.
- 14:50Speaker 2: But let me see if we can get the first
- 14:52Speaker 2: pre-statulation of the year, okay? Aaron Rodgers, time to throw.
- 14:57Speaker 6: 2.85 seconds.
- 15:03Speaker 2: That is significantly longer than it was last year. Was
- 15:06Speaker 2: that a Pat stat?
- 15:08Speaker 4: That was not a Pat stat. That's a good one, though.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Thank God.
- 15:12Speaker 1: That's a good one.
- 15:12Speaker 2: No pre-statulation yet.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Do you have last year's time to throw? Am I
- 15:15Speaker 1: putting you on the spot?
- 15:16Speaker 2: You're putting me on the spot.
- 15:18Speaker 4: Hey, intern dude.
- 15:19Speaker 7: What's up, Pat?
- 15:22Speaker 1: Why don't you, can you see if you can find
- 15:24Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers' time to throw average from last season?
- 15:30Speaker 7: I'll look it up, Pat.
- 15:31Speaker 4: Thanks, Intern Doob.
- 15:33Speaker 2: I got it right now. Sorry, Intern Doob. 2.59 seconds.
- 15:37Speaker 8: Wow.
- 15:39Speaker 2: So it's a whole two-tenths of a second longer.
- 15:41Speaker 7: Almost three seconds.
- 15:43Speaker 1: No, that's significant. And a lot of that, too, is
- 15:48Speaker 1: the outlier plays where he had five and a half,
- 15:51Speaker 1: six seconds. But you can't discount those. You can't throw
- 15:54Speaker 1: those to the side because that's important. I mean, you
- 15:58Speaker 1: give Rodgers that much time, he'll find someone open. There
- 16:00Speaker 1: was that play, I think it was third and 15,
- 16:04Speaker 1: he found, was it Roman in the middle of the field,
- 16:06Speaker 1: kind of laying there in the zone, and it was
- 16:09Speaker 1: a first out on third and 15. He had plenty
- 16:12Speaker 1: of time for that one. So, I mean, you could say, oh,
- 16:16Speaker 1: it's an outlier, it's a handful of plays where he
- 16:18Speaker 1: had six seconds or so, but that is improvement, and
- 16:21Speaker 1: that is important to note.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Well, let's not forget how he looked at the end
- 16:25Speaker 2: of the year last year. His legs were gone. I mean,
- 16:27Speaker 2: he was immobile, you know, dead. He looked as old as,
- 16:31Speaker 2: you know, father time himself. He was mobile. He was
- 16:35Speaker 2: moving around. He's going sideline to sideline.
- 16:37Speaker 1: He looks good. Yeah, absolutely. And I think he got,
- 16:41Speaker 1: I don't know how many times he got hit, but
- 16:42Speaker 1: I think he absorbed, what, two sacks from Atlanta this game.
- 16:46Speaker 2: And you know what? I think last year, let's remind
- 16:49Speaker 2: ourselves again. His issues were in the cold. His issues
- 16:54Speaker 2: were night games. His issues were not Sunday 1 p.m.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Games.
- 16:59Speaker 2: He thrived in Sunday 1 p.m.
- 17:01Speaker 9: Games.
- 17:04Speaker 2: I'd love to see those stats, too. See if you
- 17:08Speaker 2: can find those stats. Rodgers averages in 1 p.m. games
- 17:12Speaker 2: in his win-loss record versus night games or outside freezing games.
- 17:20Speaker 7: Or outside freezing games?
- 17:22Speaker 2: Yeah, because I think there was only... They might like
- 17:25Speaker 2: the four o'clock game was like outside and cold late
- 17:28Speaker 2: in the year.
- 17:29Speaker 1: So why don't we say one o'clock games from September
- 17:35Speaker 1: to November?
- 17:37Speaker 7: Okay.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Yeah, let's get us those stats because I'm telling you,
- 17:43Speaker 2: he might.
- 17:44Speaker 7: Okay, so one game from September to November and then
- 17:47Speaker 7: what else?
- 17:49Speaker 2: And then night games.
- 17:52Speaker 4: And then everything else.
- 17:54Speaker 7: Then just night games.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Yeah, everything else.
- 17:57Speaker 7: At any time of the year, night games.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:00Speaker 9: Okay. All right, Inter, dude.
- 18:02Speaker 3: That's perfect.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Let us know when you got it.
- 18:05Speaker 1: You know, we have some talking points on here, McGingy,
- 18:08Speaker 1: but I have some Pat stats that'll make it a
- 18:11Speaker 1: good segue. So let's just get right into my Pat stats.
- 18:14Speaker 1: I think that's the best way to approach this.
- 18:16Speaker 2: They matter. They matter. What did you think about?
- 18:19Speaker 1: They don't matter. Well, let me just throw this stat
- 18:22Speaker 1: out here. All right. Throw it out. It feels like
- 18:24Speaker 1: Bijan kind of cooked us, and in some ways he did,
- 18:28Speaker 1: especially in the passing game. Those short little dump-offs and
- 18:31Speaker 1: those short little screens that he ran really cooked us.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Jalen Ramsey kind of got blown up on that one,
- 18:38Speaker 1: that touchdown that they had in a similar play. But
- 18:41Speaker 1: in terms of our run defense, Bijan had 21 carries
- 18:45Speaker 1: for 83 yards. That's the 11th time he has had
- 18:49Speaker 1: 21 or more carries in a game. And 83 yards
- 18:53Speaker 1: is his lowest total in those 11 games.
- 18:56Speaker 2: That's phenomenal.
- 18:57Speaker 1: That's phenomenal. I mean, you look at the stats, it's like, yeah,
- 19:00Speaker 1: we kind of got gashed. But, I mean, Bijon's a
- 19:02Speaker 1: hell of a back. And holding him to under 100
- 19:05Speaker 1: yards with over 20 carries, that makes it feel a
- 19:09Speaker 1: lot better than I think it looked.
- 19:11Speaker 2: I don't think it really looked that bad, Pat. I mean,
- 19:14Speaker 2: the way I think of it, they took everything else away.
- 19:17Speaker 2: They allowed Bijon to catch the ball in the flat.
- 19:20Speaker 2: They allowed Bijon to– you know, they were daring them
- 19:23Speaker 2: to run. I think that I saw that the Steelers
- 19:26Speaker 2: ran cover three zone on 50% of snaps.
- 19:31Speaker 4: Well, I'll tell you, I'll tell you why it looked bad. McGingy.
- 19:34Speaker 4: This is Pat stat.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Number two, real quick before you get there. My thinking
- 19:39Speaker 2: on it is similar to like, if you're scheming up
- 19:43Speaker 2: a basketball team, like remember how they used to play LeBron.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Sometimes they would just let LeBron go out and score
- 19:48Speaker 2: 40 points as long as Dwyane Wade and Chris Boss
- 19:51Speaker 2: were shut down and doubled and had nothing. It's kind
- 19:54Speaker 2: of like, don't let the other guys kill you because
- 19:58Speaker 2: he's going to do his thing already. Sure, sure.
- 20:01Speaker 1: And that was kind of what I was hinting at
- 20:04Speaker 1: at one of my keys to victory from last week
- 20:07Speaker 1: was The easiest way, well, not the easiest way, but
- 20:09Speaker 1: the simplest way strategically to win this game is just
- 20:13Speaker 1: to bottle up Bijan. But I said, they don't have
- 20:15Speaker 1: to do that to win this game, right? There's plenty
- 20:17Speaker 1: of other ways. If Bijan goes out, I mean, you
- 20:20Speaker 1: saw Kyle Pitts didn't have a catch, right? Drake London
- 20:24Speaker 1: got held in check, especially in the first half. I
- 20:27Speaker 1: think he only had maybe one catch in the first half,
- 20:30Speaker 1: if that. So, yeah, you're exactly right.
- 20:35Speaker 2: Give us your second, Pat, stat.
- 20:36Speaker 1: I think this is why it looks so bad in
- 20:39Speaker 1: my eyes is the Steelers had 13 missed tackles and
- 20:44Speaker 1: 10 of them came from Bijan Robinson alone. Yup.
- 20:48Speaker 2: It was a Bijan game. I don't have the stat
- 20:50Speaker 2: in front of me, but the Steelers hit him behind
- 20:53Speaker 2: the line of scrimmage on every play. Well, on average. Yeah.
- 20:57Speaker 4: Maybe touched, maybe two hand touched, got a shoot.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Right. Right.
- 21:01Speaker 10: Right.
- 21:01Speaker 1: There was some bad misses too. I mean, her big
- 21:04Speaker 1: missed a couple, uh, obviously that Jalen Ramsey, I think
- 21:08Speaker 1: that was his only missed tackle that at least that
- 21:10Speaker 1: he was credited for, but that let up a touchdown.
- 21:13Speaker 1: That was just a, a good play against a good
- 21:15Speaker 1: offensive play versus what we were running on defense, right?
- 21:19Speaker 1: Jalen Ramsey coming in, kind of simulating blitz. And then
- 21:22Speaker 1: you were left open, uh, two, two blockers for two defenders.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Bijan can get out there before Jalen Ramsey can get
- 21:29Speaker 1: over to tackle them.
- 21:30Speaker 4: But, uh, Yeah, I mean, Peyton Wilson.
- 21:31Speaker 2: That's going to happen, you know, Pat. Bichon's going to eat,
- 21:34Speaker 2: especially with a team that decided not to tackle in
- 21:37Speaker 2: preseason and camp and everything. I mean, I thought it
- 21:40Speaker 2: was a great matchup in the opener because it was
- 21:43Speaker 2: kind of like, hey, let's get our feet wet. We
- 21:45Speaker 2: can key on the run. We can hit some people.
- 21:48Speaker 2: You know, we can get warmed up for week two.
- 21:51Speaker 2: They didn't have to worry about the pass at all.
- 21:52Speaker 2: It was easy for the defense. Really, it was just tackle, tackle, tackle,
- 21:56Speaker 2: tackle was the focus.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Yeah, and the Steelers aren't going to face– Running back's
- 22:03Speaker 1: much better than Bijan. I mean, they have Baltimore with
- 22:07Speaker 1: Derrick Henry twice, obviously. They're playing Saquon, who's kind of
- 22:11Speaker 1: looking a little washed, at least their line is. Jonathan Taylor.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Jonathan Taylor, yeah. Bijan might be the best. At least,
- 22:20Speaker 1: you know, his combination of power and then shiftiness, I'd say,
- 22:24Speaker 1: is probably best in the league.
- 22:26Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 22:27Speaker 1: I would agree.
- 22:28Speaker 2: He looks good.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Next pick.
- 22:30Speaker 2: Next Pat. Next Pat stat.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Next Pat.
- 22:32Speaker 4: Pat statting off.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Close the door. Close the curtains. Lock the door.
- 22:37Speaker 4: Tell mom to go get some groceries.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Pat statting off. Pat, you keep statting off.
- 22:45Speaker 4: Your arms are going to get hairy.
- 22:47Speaker 1: You're going to go blind. This is a bad Pat stat, McGingy.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Three for 13 on third down. Oh, for two on
- 22:57Speaker 1: fourth down.
- 22:58Speaker 4: That can't happen.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Oof.
- 23:01Speaker 2: One of the fourth down conversions, obviously, being the missed
- 23:03Speaker 2: field goal, you know, botched with Kim. Bill Bird just
- 23:07Speaker 2: rolled out and got laid out.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Yeah, that looked like either a completely botched snap or
- 23:14Speaker 1: not a botched snap, a miscommunication.
- 23:16Speaker 4: People were saying that looked like a design fake.
- 23:19Speaker 1: I don't think so.
- 23:20Speaker 2: He looked like if you took a medicine ball and
- 23:22Speaker 2: hit a midget with it.
- 23:28Speaker 1: I wanted you to just.
- 23:29Speaker 4: Sit on that one for a minute.
- 23:34Speaker 1: I mean, it didn't look right. And I was arguing
- 23:36Speaker 1: with people in the stands. They kept saying it was
- 23:39Speaker 1: a design play. No, that wasn't a design play. I mean,
- 23:41Speaker 1: that was botched. He tried to make the most of it,
- 23:43Speaker 1: Cam Johnston. But, yeah, that's correct. Three for 13 on
- 23:46Speaker 1: third down. Got to be better than that. That's kind
- 23:49Speaker 1: of the early season stuff where, you know, that and
- 23:53Speaker 1: the missed tackles. You just got to keep your eyes
- 23:55Speaker 1: on it the next game or two. Make sure it
- 23:57Speaker 1: doesn't become a trend.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Absolutely. Great stats, Pat. Do you have three? Do you
- 24:04Speaker 2: have any more? Do you have any extra stats?
- 24:06Speaker 1: No, those are my three stats. Topsy-turnies didn't seem as
- 24:11Speaker 1: important for this game. Mick Gingy, I left those out.
- 24:14Speaker 1: It's a much different team, a team that's passed first. So,
- 24:19Speaker 1: you know, compared to those Mike Tomlin teams, I'm not
- 24:22Speaker 1: going to put as much weight in them. Obviously, it's
- 24:24Speaker 1: still important, but. I think it's a lot easier for
- 24:26Speaker 1: this team to win without the topsy-turnies than any of
- 24:29Speaker 1: the Tomlin teams.
- 24:30Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Couldn't agree more. Anything before you want to move into
- 24:34Speaker 2: studs and stiffs?
- 24:35Speaker 4: I want to talk about some studs and some stiffs.
- 24:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:41Speaker 6: The stables are full. Hide your kids. Hide your wife.
- 24:50Speaker 6: There's some real horses out here.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Give us the first stud, Pat.
- 24:55Speaker 4: My first stud.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Cam Hayward. Three batted down passes.
- 25:02Speaker 4: A stud in the run game. This fucking guy.
- 25:07Speaker 1: He's not even a horse dick, Mick Gingy. That's how
- 25:09Speaker 1: full the stables are. What more can you say? He's
- 25:12Speaker 1: aging like a fine wine. My fucking boy, Cam Hayward.
- 25:17Speaker 2: Do you have the career record stats? Because I have
- 25:20Speaker 2: it right in front of me.
- 25:21Speaker 4: He is now.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Tied for, what, 6th in passes defended by a defensive lineman.
- 25:31Speaker 2: I don't know that. I just know the record. NFL
- 25:34Speaker 2: record for passes deflected by a D lineman is 73.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Cam Hayward now has 67.
- 25:39Speaker 11: 6-7.
- 25:40Speaker 4: 6-7.
- 25:40Speaker 1: 6-7.
- 25:40Speaker 9: 6-7.
- 25:51Speaker 1: 6-7, 6-7, 6-7, 6-7. Yeah, so he's on his good
- 25:58Speaker 1: pace there.
- 26:00Speaker 4: Why don't you give me another step?
- 26:06Speaker 2: Friar move. Pad Friar move, early season prediction by myself
- 26:13Speaker 2: was that Muth would have more yards than Jeremy Bernard
- 26:16Speaker 2: and Roman Wilson combined. Pad, I think that is very
- 26:19Speaker 2: safe to say.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I mean, let me pull up the snap counts.
- 26:23Speaker 1: I think Jeremy only had like three snaps this game.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I think if I saw correctly, it was three. Yeah.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Roman Wilson, three catches, 26 yards.
- 26:31Speaker 4: You saw three, two in turn, dude?
- 26:33Speaker 1: Yep, yep.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Pat Fryermuth, second leading receiver on the team, five catches,
- 26:37Speaker 2: 46 yards in a tutty, doing the Rodgers celebration afterwards,
- 26:43Speaker 2: little Mario jump thing. That is such a ridiculous look
- 26:46Speaker 2: at celebration.
- 26:48Speaker 4: You're going to shit on the celebration now?
- 26:50Speaker 2: No, if that's not insulting, I'm sorry.
- 26:54Speaker 4: He did it for Rod. Did you see that?
- 26:56Speaker 1: Rodgers Realm.
- 26:57Speaker 4: That's why he did it.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Yeah, he said it in his postgame. He's like, yeah,
- 27:00Speaker 1: I told that Rodgers Realm kid.
- 27:07Speaker 2: The best friends you got. You have ice cream with
- 27:09Speaker 2: the man one time, and he's doing celebrations for you.
- 27:12Speaker 4: Yeah, it's been a long time coming.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Him, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 27:16Speaker 4: I don't know how I feel. I mean– Yeah, love the.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Kid, but... He's got a good mustache.
- 27:22Speaker 1: Yeah, it is a little weird. I mean, we're two
- 27:26Speaker 1: grown men, you know, on a football podcast talking about
- 27:29Speaker 1: our dicks every week. So I guess pot calling the
- 27:31Speaker 1: kettle black, but, you know, big-time man crush from Roger's realm.
- 27:36Speaker 2: What are you going to do?
- 27:37Speaker 1: Love it.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Who would you dress up as if you could pick someone?
- 27:43Speaker 11: Me?
- 27:43Speaker 2: Yeah. If you had your own Roger's realm.
- 27:47Speaker 10: If I.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Ooh.
- 27:48Speaker 4: Like a celebrity who I'd be after. That's a good question, McGingy.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Justin Bieber would be pretty cool.
- 27:59Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, I don't think people would get it
- 28:01Speaker 4: with me, though.
- 28:05Speaker 1: I mean, I can cut my hair like him, get
- 28:07Speaker 1: the tattoos, dress like him, and people would just think
- 28:11Speaker 1: I'm a fucking asshole.
- 28:12Speaker 2: You still don't got a Lamborghini.
- 28:15Speaker 4: I just look like a dickhead, dude.
- 28:17Speaker 2: I just look like a doucher. I walk around in
- 28:21Speaker 2: my Calvins, no one going to say nothing.
- 28:24Speaker 1: Yeah, dude. Maybe Adam Sandler, dude, just always being comfy. Yeah,
- 28:31Speaker 1: that's a good call. Yeah.
- 28:33Speaker 4: No one else can pull it off, though.
- 28:34Speaker 1: I mean, he's, you know.
- 28:37Speaker 4: Let's move on. Studs.
- 28:39Speaker 1: I got another one. This one I haven't really heard
- 28:42Speaker 1: a whole lot of hoopla about. He hasn't made a
- 28:45Speaker 1: lot of the typical ratings list that you see after
- 28:48Speaker 1: games like this, but Zach Frazier played a perfect game, McG.
- 28:53Speaker 4: I watched the all-22s, the game. I kept my eyes
- 28:56Speaker 4: on him closely, and he didn't have a bad snap.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Absolutely. He was quite literally the best offensive lineman by
- 29:05Speaker 2: two-tenths of a cunt hair. I don't even know what
- 29:09Speaker 2: I'm saying here.
- 29:10Speaker 4: It's not like he was.
- 29:13Speaker 4: I mean, he's a center, so it's hard to be
- 29:15Speaker 4: splashy in general.
- 29:16Speaker 1: But just consistently making the plays he needed to make
- 29:21Speaker 1: every single play. Like I said, being a center kind
- 29:25Speaker 1: of went under the radar. So tip of the cap
- 29:28Speaker 1: to Zach Frazier.
- 29:30Speaker 2: If Joey Porter Jr. gets a big deal and it
- 29:32Speaker 2: prevents us from signing Zach Frazier, are you upset?
- 29:35Speaker 4: That's not going to happen.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Okay.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Zach Frazier just started. I think he needs to anchor
- 29:41Speaker 2: this offensive line for the next 10, 15 years, however long.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Blank check. Give it to him.
- 29:47Speaker 4: That was a Pat's bold prediction, right? Zach Frazier, Pro Bowl.
- 29:53Speaker 2: Pro Bowl.
- 29:53Speaker 4: Yep.
- 29:54Speaker 10: Yep.
- 29:54Speaker 2: We're moving there, Pat. We're moving the chains towards it.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Let me give you one. Let me give you another stud.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Peyton Wilson. It seems like the lost and soft brothers
- 30:08Speaker 2: aren't so lost and soft, Pat. What a great performance
- 30:13Speaker 2: from Peyton Wilson. Patrick Queen, you know, good game too.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Peyton Wilson looks incredibly comfortable in this new defense. He looks,
- 30:21Speaker 2: you know, physical. Everything they said about him in camp,
- 30:26Speaker 2: about his run defense improving, turned out to be right.
- 30:29Speaker 2: After one week. I mean, if he plays like this consistently,
- 30:32Speaker 2: that's a top ten, top five linebacker in the NFL.
- 30:35Speaker 4: I wouldn't go that far, but I will say.
- 30:38Speaker 2: If he goes out there and plays how he did
- 30:40Speaker 2: this week, that is borderline all pro.
- 30:45Speaker 1: I'm not going to nickel with Diamond McChinchy.
- 30:47Speaker 4: I'll just say this.
- 30:50Speaker 1: This is the player that we thought we were getting
- 30:52Speaker 1: out of the draft, right? I mean, he did have
- 30:55Speaker 1: three missed tackles in the run game, but I think
- 30:58Speaker 1: he had, what, 13 tackles total? Was it 10 or
- 31:00Speaker 1: was it 13? I have my sheet right here. But regardless, yeah,
- 31:08Speaker 1: I mean, just moving all across the field.
- 31:11Speaker 2: 13 tackles.
- 31:13Speaker 4: Led the team in tackles with 13. Moving all around
- 31:16Speaker 4: the field. Playing a lot smarter, like you said.
- 31:19Speaker 1: I mean, that was... I think we reversed our lost
- 31:22Speaker 1: and soft last year. I think you had him as
- 31:26Speaker 1: soft and I had him as lost. I think that's
- 31:29Speaker 1: how it went. Great pass coverage guy. We always knew
- 31:35Speaker 1: that as a linebacker. The only question had been being
- 31:38Speaker 1: in the right spot and making tackles, and he's certainly improved.
- 31:41Speaker 1: This is the guy we thought we were getting out
- 31:44Speaker 1: in North Carolina State.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Absolutely. Give us the next one, Pat.
- 31:49Speaker 1: A stud.
- 31:50Speaker 4: Alex Highsmith, two sacks.
- 31:52Speaker 2: Stables are full.
- 31:53Speaker 4: Was just all over the place.
- 31:56Speaker 1: He's the Evgeny Malkin of this team, right? I mean,
- 31:59Speaker 1: TJ's the Crosby. Highsmith is just one of the best
- 32:03Speaker 1: in the league. Doesn't need that recognition. Goes out there,
- 32:07Speaker 1: plays well, two sacks. Really fantastic effort from Alex Highsmith.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Do you have the snap counts?
- 32:15Speaker 4: Yeah, I do.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Right here.
- 32:21Speaker 4: Not right here.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Where is it? I was just looking at it. Okay,
- 32:25Speaker 1: this website has some defensive ends.
- 32:27Speaker 4: Confuse me.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Yeah, Highsmith played the most at outside linebackers at 41.
- 32:32Speaker 4: That's 68% of snaps on defense. Herbig at 39 for 65%.
- 32:33Speaker 1: And Watt at a low 38 with 63%. They also
- 32:35Speaker 1: got Jack Sawyer 38% of snaps as well.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Seems like they're walking the walk after talking the talk
- 32:51Speaker 2: in the offseason.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think this is a good time to
- 32:54Speaker 1: say one of the big differences in this team, Patrick Graham, like,
- 33:00Speaker 1: you know, we had talked about kind of not having
- 33:02Speaker 1: a specific pigeonhole defense that he runs and bringing in
- 33:08Speaker 1: a defense that really highlights the players we have. I mean,
- 33:12Speaker 1: we ran that 2-5 defense, right? Three outside linebackers. two
- 33:18Speaker 1: inside linebackers, two people on the D-line. We ruled that out.
- 33:23Speaker 1: First drive of the game on defense, McJingy.
- 33:26Speaker 2: I believe it was actually a 4-3.
- 33:31Speaker 4: It would have been a 2-5.
- 33:33Speaker 2: No, because Herbig was on the left outside. I know
- 33:37Speaker 2: what you're talking about. Herbig was left outside. Pat Queen
- 33:40Speaker 2: was in the middle. Peyton Wilson on the right. And
- 33:44Speaker 2: then it was Highsmith and Watt up front. And....
- 33:49Speaker 1: Who was in the K and A ward.
- 33:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:52Speaker 2: And then Highsmith and Watt and then Herbig, Patrick Queen
- 33:57Speaker 2: and Wilson. It was a 4-3.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Well, we'll agree to disagree. Maybe we'll get, we'll get
- 34:04Speaker 1: some clarity on that in a sec. Let me look
- 34:07Speaker 1: into the specifics of that, but either way, just deploying
- 34:11Speaker 1: all three of those outside linebackers on the field at
- 34:13Speaker 1: the same time, Really a fantastic move.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Yeah, it was unique because I remember Herbig was three
- 34:22Speaker 2: or four yards directly behind T.J.
- 34:24Speaker 9: Watt.
- 34:25Speaker 1: T.J.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Watt was on the line. Remember when we said something
- 34:27Speaker 2: to each other during the game? It's interesting to see
- 34:32Speaker 2: him use that way. I would love to see how off...
- 34:36Speaker 2: I mean, think about it. If you're that side of
- 34:39Speaker 2: the line, you have to worry about T.J. Watt and
- 34:41Speaker 2: possibly chipping and doubling. And then if Herbig... It has
- 34:45Speaker 2: to come around him, behind him. That's dangerous, Pat.
- 34:51Speaker 1: Dangerous. Absolutely.
- 34:53Speaker 2: Did you find anything? Are you looking?
- 34:55Speaker 4: I mean, it's 2-5.
- 34:57Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure Kazora tweeted something about.
- 35:01Speaker 12: It, too.
- 35:04Speaker 4: So we saw two defensive tackles, three outside linebackers, and
- 35:08Speaker 4: two linebackers.
- 35:10Speaker 2: But Herbig was playing as the middle linebacker. Like, he was.
- 35:15Speaker 9: back.
- 35:15Speaker 4: Well, I think we're talking semantics here then.
- 35:17Speaker 1: Yeah. Semantics, semantics. Hit us up on Twitter if you've
- 35:23Speaker 1: got the answer.
- 35:24Speaker 4: How about that?
- 35:27Speaker 2: Give us another stunt.
- 35:30Speaker 1: Jaquan Brisker, the hometown kid. Gateway's finest.
- 35:34Speaker 2: Gateway's finest.
- 35:35Speaker 4: First start at home as a Steeler.
- 35:38Speaker 1: He comes out good. Apart from that interception, too, he
- 35:41Speaker 1: played really well. I don't think he was targeted at
- 35:43Speaker 1: all this game, even though he played a fair amount
- 35:46Speaker 1: of snaps. And obviously that interception, he was kind of
- 35:49Speaker 1: right place at the right time. But, I mean, that's
- 35:53Speaker 1: what you got to do as a safety.
- 35:54Speaker 2: First interception of the year for the Steelers. First game,
- 35:59Speaker 2: he's playing as a Pittsburgh Steeler in the black and gold.
- 36:03Speaker 2: Like I said in the intro, Pat, sometimes there's proof
- 36:06Speaker 2: that a Yinzer's wet dream does come true.
- 36:09Speaker 4: Did you see his snap count?
- 36:11Speaker 2: No. Did he play at every snap?
- 36:13Speaker 4: He played 100% of snaps.
- 36:16Speaker 2: Absolutely, dude. He's going to have to, especially with Sean
- 36:19Speaker 2: Elliott out.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely.
- 36:22Speaker 2: There's not enough rotations to go around.
- 36:24Speaker 4: Absolutely.
- 36:25Speaker 2: He can work up, play the box as well. Yeah,
- 36:29Speaker 2: he's a lot tougher than I thought he was going
- 36:31Speaker 2: to be. That's what you get when you're from the
- 36:34Speaker 2: Steel City, though.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 36:38Speaker 4: Mm-hmm.
- 36:39Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 36:39Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 36:40Speaker 1: Do you have any more studs?
- 36:42Speaker 2: Just the horse dick.
- 36:44Speaker 10: Yeah, go ahead.
- 36:44Speaker 4: I'll let you do the honors.
- 36:46Speaker 2: T-J-Y! Eight and a.
- 36:53Speaker 9: Half inch dick.
- 36:54Speaker 1: You mean like a horsey boner? Oh, man.
- 36:59Speaker 2: Boy, boy, boy. He takes over games defensively like no
- 37:04Speaker 2: one I've ever seen. Troy was great. One of the
- 37:08Speaker 2: best of all time. But TJ flat out wins football
- 37:12Speaker 2: games again and again. He's been doing it since at
- 37:15Speaker 2: least 2019. He's been straight up winning football games, Pat.
- 37:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, you said it, and listen, his sack numbers,
- 37:24Speaker 1: you know, he may not get over 20 sacks ever again.
- 37:27Speaker 1: He might.
- 37:27Speaker 4: He might not.
- 37:29Speaker 1: And there's been a lot of hubba about TJ Walsh.
- 37:32Speaker 1: They've been calling him TJ Walsh.
- 37:33Speaker 4: Some people have McGingy. Some fucking people on the X
- 37:38Speaker 4: to everything app, McGingy. I've been seeing it, and it's, listen.
- 37:43Speaker 2: Next time you see it, you send it my way.
- 37:45Speaker 1: Tell ya.
- 37:46Speaker 4: Well, I don't know how many times I'll be seeing
- 37:47Speaker 4: it now.
- 37:47Speaker 2: You tag me in it, and you send it my way.
- 37:51Speaker 4: Any, any, make change.
- 37:53Speaker 1: TJ, he doesn't have to get 20 plus sacks in
- 37:56Speaker 1: a season to be one of the best defenders in
- 37:59Speaker 1: the league because he does everything else. He'll get an
- 38:02Speaker 1: interception or two.
- 38:03Speaker 4: He'll force fumbles at the right time.
- 38:05Speaker 1: And like you said, there hasn't been a defensive player
- 38:09Speaker 1: like TJ Watt that we've had since Troy Polamalu. And
- 38:13Speaker 1: what I mean by that is when you watch Troy
- 38:15Speaker 1: Polamalu and when you watch TJ Watt, You get that
- 38:19Speaker 1: feeling that any play, any play can be the play
- 38:22Speaker 1: that the game turns on its head. Right? Remember watching
- 38:25Speaker 1: Troy Polamalu, you're thinking, man, a big Troy play here.
- 38:28Speaker 1: I can see it. I can visualize it. I think
- 38:31Speaker 1: the same thing about TJY. I never thought that way
- 38:35Speaker 1: about any other defender we've had.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Yep. And the only difference between them right now is
- 38:39Speaker 2: two Super Bowls. Troy's made those plays in AFC championships,
- 38:45Speaker 2: in Super Bowls, in playoff games. You know, that's what
- 38:49Speaker 2: we need to see out of TJ this year.
- 38:53Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely.
- 38:54Speaker 2: And you know what else, Pat? They're walking the walk.
- 38:57Speaker 2: They're walking the walk, moving TJ around the field.
- 39:02Speaker 1: Yeah, he was on the right side of the field,
- 39:05Speaker 1: the opposite side of where he usually is, six times.
- 39:08Speaker 4: Six times this game.
- 39:09Speaker 1: He was on the opposite side of the field 12
- 39:11Speaker 1: times all season last year, McG.
- 39:14Speaker 7: Absolutely.
- 39:14Speaker 2: He's already halfway there for matching last year's total. That's crazy, Pat.
- 39:20Speaker 2: That's crazy. Let's talk about some stiffs. Now, we brought
- 39:24Speaker 2: the stiffs category back. We're not going to bash anyone.
- 39:27Speaker 2: We just want to acknowledge, hey, we need to see
- 39:29Speaker 2: more out of you.
- 39:30Speaker 1: You.
- 39:32Speaker 2: The first one that I had on the list, Pat,
- 39:35Speaker 2: Derek Harmon. His snap count was dangerously low. What was
- 39:39Speaker 2: his snap percentage?
- 39:41Speaker 1: Yeah, it was, I have it right here, defensive tackle,
- 39:45Speaker 1: only 40%.
- 39:47Speaker 4: 40% of snaps. Let me cut you off real quick.
- 39:53Speaker 4: Listen to how they broke up the percentages here because.
- 39:56Speaker 1: It looks a lot different than what I thought I
- 39:59Speaker 1: saw during the game. Benton only played 58% of the snaps,
- 40:03Speaker 1: and he was the highest. Cam played 53%. Derek Harmon
- 40:06Speaker 1: played 40%.
- 40:06Speaker 4: Y.A.
- 40:06Speaker 1: Played 30%. And Sebastian Joseph Day played 30%. I thought
- 40:15Speaker 1: Keanu Benton would have been closer to 65-70 and Derek
- 40:19Speaker 1: Harmon would have been closer to like 30%.
- 40:21Speaker 2: Yeah, it's interesting to see if it's a matchup thing.
- 40:25Speaker 2: You know, I watched somebody put a post at a breakdown.
- 40:28Speaker 2: I should have the tweet so I can credit him,
- 40:30Speaker 2: but fuck him, of Derek Harmon's pass rush reps. The
- 40:36Speaker 2: tape was not good. And granted, he got double teamed,
- 40:38Speaker 2: I think, Of all of his, I think he had
- 40:41Speaker 2: seven or eight pass rush reps and all but one,
- 40:44Speaker 2: he got double teamed. So he is eating space. He's
- 40:48Speaker 2: holding space. You know, that was obviously a concern last
- 40:51Speaker 2: year with him doing a much better job at it,
- 40:54Speaker 2: but we need to see more out of him. And
- 40:57Speaker 2: I don't know if this was a matchup thing, snap
- 40:59Speaker 2: percentage wise, you know, Tomlin always used to tell us
- 41:03Speaker 2: back in the day, don't read too much into snap percentage, yada, yada, yada.
- 41:07Speaker 2: But we've already seen changes on that. So keep an
- 41:10Speaker 2: eye on Derek Harmon.
- 41:11Speaker 1: Yeah, the groupings were interesting. I went back when I
- 41:14Speaker 1: watched the All-22s, and I was texting you this, McGingy.
- 41:18Speaker 1: When I watched the All-22s with Tomlin, it took me
- 41:22Speaker 1: a lot less time, a lot less time to get
- 41:24Speaker 1: through it because there's so many assumptions you can make.
- 41:27Speaker 4: You look at a formation, you kind of know who's where.
- 41:31Speaker 1: This new team, I mean, I had to literally go through,
- 41:36Speaker 1: look at every jersey number, find every player, make notes
- 41:39Speaker 1: of every snap. It took me a long time to
- 41:41Speaker 1: go through this all 22. And I thought it was
- 41:44Speaker 1: a little strange that Keanu Benton got as much time
- 41:49Speaker 1: as he did as the number one snapping defensive tackle.
- 41:52Speaker 1: They paid him. And the groupings were interesting.
- 41:55Speaker 2: They paid him.
- 41:56Speaker 4: Exactly, yeah.
- 41:57Speaker 1: And a new staff, they pay the guy.
- 41:59Speaker 2: I get it.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Coming into the groupings, though, it was Keanu Benton and
- 42:04Speaker 1: Cam Hayward. on that first drive on defense. And they
- 42:11Speaker 1: switched it around about halfway through that second drive and
- 42:14Speaker 1: took both of them out.
- 42:16Speaker 4: And it was, I believe, Y.A.
- 42:17Speaker 1: Black, Sebastian Joseph Day. Yep, Sebastian Joseph Day, Derek Harmon, Y.A. Black,
- 42:24Speaker 1: Jack Sawyer, all got their first snaps as a group
- 42:28Speaker 1: about four plays into the second defensive drive. So I
- 42:32Speaker 1: just thought that that was interesting. I mean, you're taking
- 42:35Speaker 1: out your two quote-unquote best defensive tackles, and then you're
- 42:38Speaker 1: bringing in Harmon Black and Joseph Day. Those guys are
- 42:42Speaker 1: also bigger than Keanu Benton, right? All three of those guys.
- 42:47Speaker 1: So I don't know. What are your thoughts? I'm just
- 42:49Speaker 1: kind of speculating here.
- 42:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think it's much to read too into
- 42:54Speaker 2: it right now. You know, this is a deep team,
- 42:57Speaker 2: and they're going to need to play those guys. And Cam, TJ, Highsmith,
- 43:01Speaker 2: their snaps are going to be down this year.
- 43:03Speaker 1: Maybe you could look at it as.
- 43:04Speaker 2: I think it's as simple as that.
- 43:06Speaker 1: As Cam is the first team center and Derek Harmon
- 43:10Speaker 1: is the second team center in hockey talk, right? First line,
- 43:13Speaker 1: second line. Where Cam and Benton were a good pair.
- 43:17Speaker 1: And they wanted to put Harmon, such a great run stopper,
- 43:21Speaker 1: with Y.A.
- 43:21Speaker 4: Black and Joseph Day.
- 43:22Speaker 1: I'm just mind-boggled.
- 43:24Speaker 2: I think you're thinking about it too much, Pat. I
- 43:26Speaker 2: think that edible is kicking in.
- 43:28Speaker 4: No, it definitely is. About 40 minutes in.
- 43:30Speaker 2: I was going to say, yeah, I think you're thinking
- 43:33Speaker 2: about this too much. Let's move on to the next stiff.
- 43:39Speaker 1: The next stiff.
- 43:40Speaker 4: Next stiff I had DK Metcalf.
- 43:43Speaker 1: I mean, that's an obvious one. Probably maybe the worst
- 43:47Speaker 1: player on the offense. Maybe the worst player on the
- 43:50Speaker 1: Steelers this game. Just a couple of bad drops. And
- 43:56Speaker 1: how much do you think– him not playing in the
- 44:00Speaker 1: preseason had an effect on this.
- 44:02Speaker 2: Well, allegedly he had the best practice that Rodgers has
- 44:06Speaker 2: ever seen from a wide receiver on Wednesday. So obviously
- 44:10Speaker 2: that's what the talk of how to practice was. But
- 44:13Speaker 2: it didn't translate to the game. A couple drops, flush it,
- 44:16Speaker 2: move on. That's it.
- 44:19Speaker 7: Also the offensive pass interferences. Don't forget those.
- 44:21Speaker 2: Exactly. Exactly. Very well could have had 150 yards. And
- 44:26Speaker 2: two touchdowns.
- 44:27Speaker 1: And they were just– we talked about this briefly, but
- 44:29Speaker 1: the refs were just calling a weird game. I mean,
- 44:32Speaker 1: they were calling– you know, they weren't calling– they were
- 44:35Speaker 1: calling OPI. They weren't really calling defensive pass interference. So
- 44:40Speaker 1: it was just a bizarre game from the refs.
- 44:44Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely. Our final stiff, Pat.
- 44:47Speaker 1: Not our final stiff.
- 44:48Speaker 2: Yeah, our final one. Every other offensive lineman that's not
- 44:52Speaker 2: named Zach Frazier.
- 44:55Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 44:56Speaker 2: The running game needs to be better, and there was
- 44:59Speaker 2: simply nothing there.
- 45:02Speaker 9: Nothing.
- 45:03Speaker 1: Let me say, let's get on the list here. Spencer
- 45:06Speaker 1: Anderson consistently missing blocks, both in the run game and
- 45:10Speaker 1: the pass game.
- 45:11Speaker 4: There was a drive.
- 45:12Speaker 1: It was the third drive that we had on offense.
- 45:15Speaker 1: It went like this. It was Spencer Anderson gets blown
- 45:19Speaker 1: up on a play action, allows a big sack, but
- 45:22Speaker 1: he was bailed out on a defensive holding call, right?
- 45:25Speaker 1: The next play, short game, three yards, rushing Rico Dowdle.
- 45:29Speaker 1: The play after that, Spencer Anderson can't hold a block,
- 45:33Speaker 1: and the run play gets blown up immediately at the
- 45:35Speaker 1: line of scrimmage. If that defensive holding wasn't called, Spencer
- 45:40Speaker 1: Anderson would have single-handedly ruined an entire offensive drive. Yeah.
- 45:45Speaker 2: No, they need to be better. Absolutely, Pat.
- 45:48Speaker 1: Mason McCormick allowed four pressures. McGingey, he looked sloppy. He
- 45:51Speaker 1: just wasn't moving well. Dylan Cook.
- 45:55Speaker 4: Probably the worst one of the bunch.
- 45:56Speaker 1: Three pressures, allowed a sack, had a face mask penalty
- 46:00Speaker 1: that wiped out a first down. Just a tough run
- 46:03Speaker 1: game from him. Choi Faletanu let up three pressures as well.
- 46:07Speaker 1: It was just sloppy, like you said, from everybody apart
- 46:10Speaker 1: from Frazier.
- 46:12Speaker 2: I think it was kind of a sloppy game just
- 46:14Speaker 2: in general across the board. A lot of penalties, a
- 46:18Speaker 2: lot of missed tackles. Just a team that got lucky
- 46:22Speaker 2: with the matchup that they had because they weren't 100%
- 46:26Speaker 2: fine-tuned and sharp, and I think the offensive line kind
- 46:29Speaker 2: of proves that. Although I did see improvement from them
- 46:31Speaker 2: out of the preseason, and I think this is a
- 46:34Speaker 2: performance they can build on and get better on. We
- 46:36Speaker 2: need to see Max in soon, though. It's about getting
- 46:40Speaker 2: that time.
- 46:42Speaker 1: I mean, soon. You're right. I think something to consider
- 46:47Speaker 1: with Max is I didn't see anybody really get completely
- 46:52Speaker 1: blown up this game where When the ball was snapped,
- 46:55Speaker 1: somebody was immediately in Rodgers' face. There was a snap
- 46:58Speaker 1: in the preseason that happened. I mean, it's early. I'm nitpicking.
- 47:02Speaker 4: But you can't have any of those snaps on the
- 47:04Speaker 4: offensive line.
- 47:05Speaker 1: So once the Steelers are confident that Ohana Chore can
- 47:09Speaker 1: at least lose well, right, at least lose in a
- 47:12Speaker 1: good way, then they shouldn't be considering him over Dylan Cook.
- 47:16Speaker 1: And I think that time is going to come soon.
- 47:19Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 47:20Speaker 2: Quick review of last week's Crouching Tiger hitting Dragon. Crouching
- 47:25Speaker 2: Tiger being Bijan Robinson leading Atlanta not only in rushing
- 47:31Speaker 2: but in receiving. He had eight catches and everyone else
- 47:36Speaker 2: on the team, wide receivers, had four total. And no
- 47:41Speaker 2: receptions by Kyle Pitts' tight end. No tight end caught
- 47:44Speaker 2: a ball. Not only that, 21 carries, 83 yards, so.
- 47:47Speaker 2: They let him do his thing. Didn't really kill us.
- 47:50Speaker 2: Hidden dragon, Drake London. Like I said, wide receivers only
- 47:53Speaker 2: had four catches total. He had two catches for 29 yards.
- 47:57Speaker 2: I believe one of them came in garbage time, you know,
- 47:59Speaker 2: towards the end.
- 48:00Speaker 1: Well, I think they were both in the second half.
- 48:03Speaker 1: And one of them was on. You could tell they
- 48:05Speaker 1: came out of the second half saying, we got to
- 48:07Speaker 1: find ways to get him the ball. Because one of
- 48:09Speaker 1: them was on a screen. It was a little screen
- 48:11Speaker 1: to the left side of the field. So, yeah, I mean,
- 48:14Speaker 1: you were spot on.
- 48:17Speaker 2: Yeah, anything else you want to cover in the game?
- 48:19Speaker 2: I think we covered it all.
- 48:22Speaker 1: Oh, the field.
- 48:23Speaker 2: The field.
- 48:24Speaker 1: Oh, the field looks good. After what happened at the
- 48:27Speaker 1: Pitt game.
- 48:27Speaker 2: The field looks good.
- 48:29Speaker 1: The night prior. Yep. Aaron Rodgers gave him a shout, too. Yeah,
- 48:35Speaker 1: Rodgers gave him a shout.
- 48:36Speaker 2: Yeah, the Grounds crew should be proud. Absolutely.
- 48:39Speaker 4: We got another stunt, McGinty, the Grounds crew.
- 48:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 48:44Speaker 4: I'm typing it. I'm typing it in the outline. Grounds crew.
- 48:47Speaker 2: Don't forget. Don't forget it.
- 48:50Speaker 1: Fuck yeah.
- 48:51Speaker 2: Yeah, great job to the Grounds crew and great job
- 48:54Speaker 2: to that Bermuda grass.
- 48:56Speaker 4: Maybe we should get our grass expert.
- 48:57Speaker 2: Maybe we should get some Bermuda grass.
- 48:59Speaker 4: We should get some info from our grass expert.
- 49:02Speaker 2: Okay. Yeah, let's do that for next week. Let's hit
- 49:04Speaker 2: up grass expert Phil and see if he can tell
- 49:06Speaker 2: us a little bit about the new grass.
- 49:08Speaker 4: I'm something of a grass expert myself. I'm too high.
- 49:15Speaker 4: Let's go to commercial.
- 49:16Speaker 1: When we come back, we'll talk Pat's preview and get you.
- 49:20Speaker 1: some Yinzer of the Week talk, some voicemails, McGinchy's hot lead,
- 49:25Speaker 1: and some trivia from our very own intern.
- 49:27Speaker 9: Wow.
- 49:28Speaker 2: Good cut there, Pat.
- 49:31Speaker 1: Beer. Cigarettes. Football. High fructose corn syrup.
- 49:36Speaker 2: Big trucks.
- 49:38Speaker 1: Firework shows. Heavy machinery. Big game hunting.
- 49:42Speaker 2: Farmer's tans.
- 49:43Speaker 1: First responders.
- 49:44Speaker 2: Cuban cigars.
- 49:45Speaker 1: High cholesterol. More beer.
- 49:47Speaker 8: $ 10 blackjack hands.
- 49:50Speaker 2: 50 cent wings.
- 49:51Speaker 4: Truck nuts.
- 49:52Speaker 2: And tarps off radio.
- 49:54Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 49:58Speaker 2: All right, folks.
- 49:59Speaker 1: Thanks for sticking with us, you sexy, sexy sons of bitches.
- 50:04Speaker 1: We're going to get into one of my favorite topics
- 50:07Speaker 1: of every week. McChinchy, why don't you tell us why
- 50:10Speaker 1: we hate New England?
- 50:12Speaker 2: One of those teams, I don't need to tell you.
- 50:15Speaker 2: I just need to fuel you. Someone said the other
- 50:18Speaker 2: day that Patrick Mahomes was now a bigger villain than
- 50:21Speaker 2: Brady ever was. That pissed me off. That made me angry.
- 50:26Speaker 2: Never forget. What Brady did in this league. Deflategate.
- 50:30Speaker 1: Spygate.
- 50:31Speaker 2: Kiss your son on the mouthgate. Kraft has been getting
- 50:35Speaker 2: away with just as much. You know, more recently, not
- 50:37Speaker 2: letting my fellow ginger redheaded American Ed Sheeran finish his
- 50:41Speaker 2: tour unless he dumps another redheaded American Macklemore as his opener.
- 50:46Speaker 2: This whole organization from top to bottom is arrogant, unethical,
- 50:50Speaker 2: downright full of pussies. Don't forget who this organization is,
- 50:55Speaker 2: what they did for over 20 years. Hell, they're still
- 50:58Speaker 2: doing it. Their head coach just became the first male
- 51:01Speaker 2: to ever sleep his way to an award.
- 51:04Speaker 1: Maybe.
- 51:05Speaker 2: They are who they've always been. Mass holes. On to
- 51:11Speaker 2: the scouting report. New England is coming off a brutal
- 51:15Speaker 2: loss in which Drake May gags the game away in
- 51:18Speaker 2: the final seconds. That much is true. But let's take
- 51:20Speaker 2: a quick look at the 2025 season they had because
- 51:23Speaker 2: it's still early. Patriots coming off a year where they
- 51:26Speaker 2: capitalized on having the statistically easiest schedule in NFL history.
- 51:31Speaker 2: Drake May ended up second in MVP voting. Mike Vrabel,
- 51:34Speaker 2: like I said, slept his way to coach of the year.
- 51:37Speaker 2: This year, their schedule is a little tougher. They play
- 51:39Speaker 2: nine playoff teams from a year ago. Everyone wants to
- 51:43Speaker 2: talk about, you know, the new and improved wide receiver core.
- 51:47Speaker 2: Adding A.J. Brown, Romeo Dobbs, boom. had a phenomenal game,
- 51:52Speaker 2: but people forget they also lost to Fawn Diggs and
- 51:55Speaker 2: Keyshawn Booty. Their real improvements, though, have been at the
- 51:59Speaker 2: offensive line level. Elijah Vera Tucker comes in to play
- 52:02Speaker 2: left guard and Jared Wilson bumps over from left guard
- 52:05Speaker 2: to center. They spent a first round pick on tackle
- 52:09Speaker 2: out of Utah, Caleb Lomu, but he's yet to earn
- 52:13Speaker 2: the starting role. Defensively, they're coming off a year where
- 52:15Speaker 2: they were top 10 in points, yards per game, Solid
- 52:19Speaker 2: team-oriented defense, similar to the Patriots' defenses of years past.
- 52:25Speaker 2: The second round, they took an edge rusher this year,
- 52:27Speaker 2: Gabe Jacos, and they signed Draymond Jones, who are splitting
- 52:32Speaker 2: time at one of the edge rusher spots to hopefully
- 52:34Speaker 2: drum up a better pass rush. Last year, they were
- 52:37Speaker 2: bottom 10 in the NFL in sacks. All-pro safety Kevin
- 52:41Speaker 2: Bayard with the Bears comes over to the Patriots this
- 52:44Speaker 2: year to replace Jalen Hawkins. bolstering that secondary that already has,
- 52:48Speaker 2: you know, Christian Gonzalez, who just got a hundred million
- 52:51Speaker 2: dollars guaranteed and is screwing JPJ out of a Steelers contract.
- 52:55Speaker 2: Every other defensive starter remains, including former Steeler, Robert Spillane. Pat,
- 53:01Speaker 2: that was a mouthful. Let me breathe for a second here.
- 53:05Speaker 1: Wow. Nice work, Mick. Thank you.
- 53:07Speaker 4: That was good. Yeah. Let's keep that going all season.
- 53:10Speaker 1: That was a good summary. And I liked what you
- 53:12Speaker 1: said too, about Mike Vrabel, As a man, the first
- 53:16Speaker 1: man to sleep his way to an award. What a
- 53:18Speaker 1: milestone for men, right? I mean, women have been doing
- 53:21Speaker 1: it for how long? It's about time a man steps
- 53:24Speaker 1: up and says, I can do a woman's job too.
- 53:28Speaker 2: The tides are turning, Pat. The rules are changing. Soon
- 53:32Speaker 2: there's going to be house husbands.
- 53:35Speaker 1: Hell yeah, dude.
- 53:37Speaker 4: We're making progress.
- 53:38Speaker 2: Give us the injury report.
- 53:41Speaker 1: Why don't we let Intern Doob give us the injury report?
- 53:43Speaker 1: He worked hard on it.
- 53:45Speaker 2: Okay, let's hear it, dude.
- 53:47Speaker 7: All right, coming in with the injuries. Last week, we
- 53:50Speaker 7: all saw A.J. Brown go down. Unfortunately, he was on
- 53:54Speaker 7: one of my fantasy teams. He will be out for
- 53:57Speaker 7: about six weeks.
- 53:59Speaker 2: Damn, get fucked.
- 54:00Speaker 7: Yeah. Travion Henderson did miss week one against the Seahawks,
- 54:07Speaker 7: but he did return to practice yesterday, so we'll see
- 54:11Speaker 7: what happens with him. He is still questionable. will return
- 54:15Speaker 7: against the Steelers. Ben Brown, interior lineman, also missed week
- 54:21Speaker 7: one with an injury, but did return to practice alongside Travion.
- 54:25Speaker 7: Head coach Mike Vrabel also did say, you know, a
- 54:29Speaker 7: couple other players like Morgan Moses, Hunter Henry, and Carlton Davis.
- 54:34Speaker 2: Carlton.
- 54:35Speaker 7: Minor in-game issues, but they will not miss any action.
- 54:40Speaker 2: Interesting. Great job, Duke. Yeah, great job.
- 54:44Speaker 1: Well said.
- 54:44Speaker 4: And Ben Brown, just for the folks at home, I
- 54:47Speaker 4: believe is a backup, not a starter. Correct.
- 54:51Speaker 1: Yeah, just saying that for the health of the defensive
- 54:54Speaker 1: line here. Go ahead, dude.
- 54:55Speaker 4: Why don't you tell us the Steelers' injuries?
- 54:58Speaker 7: Yeah, not much new going on with the Steelers.
- 55:00Speaker 1: Thank fuck.
- 55:01Speaker 7: Everybody saw Troy miss a couple plays, but.
- 55:03Speaker 1: He came back.
- 55:04Speaker 7: He said postgame he's fine. Obviously, Joey Porter Jr., We
- 55:09Speaker 7: can all speculate what's going on there, but he is
- 55:11Speaker 7: still questionable. Sean Elliott, obviously IR, nobody else really to mention.
- 55:18Speaker 1: Wow.
- 55:19Speaker 2: Steelers are healthy.
- 55:21Speaker 4: Knock on some fucking.
- 55:22Speaker 2: A healthy team is a dangerous team. Knock on a boner, McGingy, please.
- 55:25Speaker 2: A healthy team is a dangerous team.
- 55:28Speaker 1: Did you see... I'm going back there with the Falcons game.
- 55:36Speaker 4: I'm too high. Who was their quarterback?
- 55:37Speaker 1: Remind me.
- 55:39Speaker 2: Cooper Rush.
- 55:41Speaker 4: Jesus Christ. I heard he was having back spasms. I'm
- 55:44Speaker 4: not even, this isn't a joke. I heard he was
- 55:46Speaker 4: having back spasms by the, towards the end of the
- 55:48Speaker 4: game as well.
- 55:49Speaker 2: So we almost saw Jake Strand.
- 55:51Speaker 4: What the fuck are they putting in the water in Atlanta, dude?
- 55:54Speaker 2: Well, he almost didn't play because of back spasms.
- 55:57Speaker 4: Cooper Rush.
- 55:58Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 55:59Speaker 10: Oh yeah.
- 55:59Speaker 2: You were on your bachelor trip or bachelor party. Yeah. No,
- 56:02Speaker 2: the day before the game, they were like, Cooper Rush
- 56:05Speaker 2: might not play. And, uh, Stefanski had to come out
- 56:09Speaker 2: and say, hey, he's actually going to play. He's going
- 56:12Speaker 2: to power through it. But he was having back spasms
- 56:13Speaker 2: with David.
- 56:14Speaker 4: I know what it is, McG.
- 56:16Speaker 1: After coaching Deshaun Watson in Cleveland, Stefanski says, no massages
- 56:21Speaker 1: for anybody. I can't risk it. My court backs are
- 56:25Speaker 1: not allowed to get massages. Oh, man.
- 56:32Speaker 2: That was a good one.
- 56:34Speaker 1: You got me laughing.
- 56:38Speaker 2: One thing about this Patriots team in which I think
- 56:41Speaker 2: we can get to them is they give up a
- 56:44Speaker 2: lot of sacks last year. They were, you know, bottom
- 56:47Speaker 2: 10 in the league in sacks. I think this bears,
- 56:50Speaker 2: bears well for a new Patrick Graham style defense that
- 56:52Speaker 2: Vrabel's not familiar with. As you said, Pat, the weather,
- 56:56Speaker 2: it's going to be rainy. It's going to be, you know,
- 56:59Speaker 2: slightly colder, you know, fifties, you know, highest 61 and,
- 57:03Speaker 2: is what the weather people were saying. And who knows?
- 57:06Speaker 2: Who knows? In Gillette Stadium, that can change. I'm not
- 57:10Speaker 2: putting anything past these Patriots.
- 57:14Speaker 1: I'm looking up the stats from the last time we played. Obviously,
- 57:18Speaker 1: you know, five turnovers we forced. Drake May had an
- 57:23Speaker 1: interception and a fumble. But I want to see how
- 57:28Speaker 1: many sacks the Steelers have. Because that was just such
- 57:31Speaker 1: a defensive masterclass. Five sacks. Five sacks this game last
- 57:37Speaker 1: year against the Patriots.
- 57:38Speaker 2: That was week four. That's actually a pretty good segue
- 57:42Speaker 2: into my Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Should I do that
- 57:45Speaker 2: before your keys?
- 57:46Speaker 1: Yeah, dude.
- 57:47Speaker 2: Let me hop you here.
- 57:48Speaker 1: Okay.
- 57:49Speaker 2: Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Crouching Tiger, obviously the player we
- 57:52Speaker 2: should fear the most. The one we can see. Hidden
- 57:54Speaker 2: Dragon being the sneaky in disguise. Crouching Tiger, Hunter Henry.
- 58:00Speaker 2: Last year, Hunter Henry torched us. He was their leading receiver,
- 58:03Speaker 2: eight catches, 90 yards, two touchdowns. Diggs did play. Matt
- 58:10Speaker 2: Collins did play. Matt Collins had four catches. Keep an
- 58:13Speaker 2: eye out for Matt Collins as well, but Hunter Henry,
- 58:16Speaker 2: eight catches, 90 yards, two touchdowns. I'm excited to see
- 58:19Speaker 2: how the Patrick Graham regime goes against tight ends. That
- 58:23Speaker 2: was a historical weakness in all of Tomlin's defense, so
- 58:27Speaker 2: I'm looking forward to it here. Absolutely.
- 58:32Speaker 1: Absolutely. And I think it will be improved with that.
- 58:34Speaker 1: I'm calling it a 2-5 until proven otherwise, McChinchy. But
- 58:38Speaker 1: I think that 2-5 is going to really improve things,
- 58:44Speaker 1: you know, in a lot of areas.
- 58:46Speaker 4: And you're going to.
- 58:47Speaker 1: Mention something next. I want you to keep the 2-5
- 58:49Speaker 1: in mind when you do. What's the hidden dragon?
- 58:53Speaker 2: Hidden dragon is Drake May.
- 58:55Speaker 9: Bang.
- 58:55Speaker 1: Now, now, now, now.
- 58:57Speaker 2: Not his... Passing attack. I'm not worried about his passing,
- 59:01Speaker 2: his rushing attack. Last time we played them, he was
- 59:05Speaker 2: their leading rusher, seven carries, 45 yards. His ability to
- 59:09Speaker 2: escape from a sack. you know, he's been doing it
- 59:11Speaker 2: because that offensive line, his ability to pick up a
- 59:13Speaker 2: first down when you think you have him. I think,
- 59:16Speaker 2: you know, wrapping him up and making sure he doesn't scramble,
- 59:20Speaker 2: making sure he doesn't run is going to be key
- 59:22Speaker 2: in this game.
- 59:24Speaker 1: Yeah. And that's, I jumped the gun a little bit,
- 59:26Speaker 1: but that's my two, five, two cents. McGingey. When you get,
- 59:30Speaker 1: Outside linebackers on the edge, you could tackle like that.
- 59:33Speaker 1: I think that's certainly going to help whenever a quarterback
- 59:36Speaker 1: like Drake May can get out of the pocket, scramble
- 59:38Speaker 1: around a little bit.
- 59:40Speaker 2: Absolutely. Cool, cool.
- 59:44Speaker 4: Why don't we get into Pat's keys to victory?
- 59:46Speaker 1: Yeah, give me your keys.
- 59:47Speaker 2: Give me your keys.
- 59:47Speaker 4: First one's off. Why don't you guess the first one?
- 59:50Speaker 4: I think it's obvious.
- 59:51Speaker 2: Back of the keys, keys, keys, keys, back of the keys.
- 59:53Speaker 2: Is it tourney? Topsy tourney?
- 59:55Speaker 1: It's turnovers. Man, you nailed it.
- 59:57Speaker 9: Nice.
- 59:58Speaker 1: You nailed it. Turnovers. Yeah, we saw it last year.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: That's why we won. I don't need to go much
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: further into that. So, you know, just get some defensive
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: splash plays. Pat's key to victory number two. Catch the
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: dang ball, McGingy.
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: We got to catch the ball.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: I like that key, Pat.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: Yeah, it's no more complicated than that, McGingy. And my
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: third key, embrace the 2-5. I'm calling it a 2-5
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: until someone on Twitter tells me why I'm wrong, McGingy.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: I want to see that this game. Exactly what I
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: said about Drake May. Let's fucking get our three best
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: outside linebackers on the field at the same time. That's
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: what I'm talking about. That formation makes me so rock hard.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: I was calling for it all last year.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: I had no idea what you were talking about. Until
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: you just said that formation. I was like, what?
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: 2-5?
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: What the fuck is he talking? 2-5? I'm 99% sure
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: it was a 4-3. But I guess it's semantics.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: I don't know. I figured two defensive tackles, five linebackers,
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: three outside two.
- 1:01:06Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: But anyway, I was calling for that last year. I
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: don't know if you remember. It was such a small
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: point I made. I think I made it in two
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: or three episodes.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: I think you made it just drunk in the stands.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: Put all three of them on the field! In this offseason, too,
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: I've really been pounding the table because I feel like
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: Nick Herbig is versatile enough to where he can kind
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: of play that hybrid outside-inside linebacker role if he has to.
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: We saw it quite a bit this game. I don't
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: have the exact numbers here.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: I don't know if they're online floating around, but I
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: was so surprised when I saw the first defense's drive
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: of the game.
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: They were all out there.
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: It was exciting. I was Bucky Paper for sure.
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: Well, those are Pat's keys.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: Turnovers, catching the dang ball, and embracing this new formation.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: Absolutely, Pat. Now let's kick it to everyone's favorite segment,
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: Things to Watch from Aircraft's Eye in the Sky. Flight attendants,
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: prepare for takeoff, please. I got an apology to make
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: to aircraft. I forgot about his eye in the sky
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: last week. So I got to make sure to get
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: his last week one in here. So everyone's getting a
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: little treat. You're getting a twofer.
- 1:02:38Speaker 9: Twofer.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: Things to watch from aircraft's eye in the sky. The
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: one from last week. Key to the season-long victory is
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: the deep ball. We need to connect on deep balls
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: as a function of offensive line play, receiver play, quarterback play.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: Got to force that two-eye look to clear out the box. Boy,
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: did he have some foresight last week. If we connected
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: on some deep balls, Rodgers could have had 350 yards
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: and three touchdowns.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: He's a sharp kid.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: Now, here's one for this week. Eye in the Sky
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: this week is simple. Convert on third down at a
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: 40% or better rate. League average is 39%, and with
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: our defense, that should win you most games. Don't care
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: how it happens, just that it does. Convert on third down.
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: That's why we call him Aircraft, because he's such a
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: sharp kid.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: I'm right there with him.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: Genius.
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: You want a random Pat stat I'm throwing at you?
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: This one's off the cuff.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:03:45Speaker 4: Jaquan Brisker.
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: Unsolicited.
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: Born on 4-20, 1999.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess that's a stat.
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: I was looking up his age, and it's, yeah, birthday's 4-20.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess that's a stat. Good job, Pat.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: Pat stats!
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: Pat statin' off!
- 1:04:04Speaker 10: Close the door!
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: I don't have anything else about this game, Pat. I'm excited.
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: Why don't we get into your McGingy's hot leads?
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: Give us a prediction for the game.
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: I'm going to say 23-17 Steelers.
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: So you're taking the under.
- 1:04:29Speaker 4: Did you get into that yet?
- 1:04:30Speaker 9: 41.5.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: 41.5?
- 1:04:30Speaker 9: Okay.
- 1:04:30Speaker 14: Yep.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: That's a good line.
- 1:04:36Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: I'm going to go 24-20 Steelers.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: So I guess that's 44.
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: Yeah, 24-20.
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: I like that.
- 1:04:39Speaker 15: 24-20?
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: You know who.
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: Was born on 4-20 in 1999?
- 1:04:41Speaker 10: 24-20?
- 1:04:41Speaker 11: 4-20.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: That's how I am, McGingy.
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: I'm hearing individual numbers.
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: McGingy's hot lead last week. You know, just a little
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: bit of a thank you from me to the listeners,
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: the best listeners in the world. 4-0 last week. We
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: swept the board. Niners money line, bang. Steelers minus 3.5, bang.
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: Vikings minus 1.5, bang. Scadabo 50-plus, bang. We're now up
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: to 6-2, up four units on the year. This week,
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: I got a doozy for you. Over 44 and a
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: half Packers Jets in the Meadowlands. I think both of
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: these teams are going to score some points. I think
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: the Packers are desperate. And I think the Jets are
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: a little bit better than everyone kind of expected out
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: of them. Granted, they played the Titans. Titans are bad. But,
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: you know, I'm expecting both of these teams to put
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: up some points. So over 44 and a half Packers
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: Jets in New York City this week.
- 1:05:59Speaker 10: Nice.
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: You're six for two.
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: Six and two. Hell yeah.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: My dick's 6.2 inches dyslexic, McGingy. Nice.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: Let's take a break. When we get back, we're going
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: to have voicemails for you. You answer the week in
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: trivia question. Stay tuned.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: Well, hi there.
- 1:06:18Speaker 15: My name's Dick, and I'm the owner and proprietor.
- 1:06:21Speaker 5: Of Fremonta Family Farms. At Fremonta Family Farms, we put
- 1:06:26Speaker 5: family first. That's why all our animals are bred locally, in-house.
- 1:06:31Speaker 5: exclusively with members of their own kin.
- 1:06:34Speaker 14: We don't use any of them liberal city boy GMO
- 1:06:37Speaker 14: hormonal cows. We breed the old-fashioned way. Couple candles in
- 1:06:42Speaker 14: the barn, cow jams, volumes one through four, and some
- 1:06:47Speaker 14: gentle coercion. We've worked hard this summer to ensure our
- 1:06:50Speaker 14: cows have 30% less hepatitis. Not only do we milk
- 1:06:55Speaker 14: our cows by hand, but we slaughter using our bare
- 1:06:59Speaker 14: hands as well. None of them fancy, high-powered, unethical killing machines.
- 1:07:05Speaker 14: Just my cousin Tucker and a few left hooks. We
- 1:07:09Speaker 14: also don't just milk cows. We'll provide you with whatever
- 1:07:12Speaker 14: milk you please. Hell, I'll milk a pig for you.
- 1:07:15Speaker 14: We can milk a horse.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: I'll even milk my old blue-tig, Betsy.
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: Visit any of.
- 1:07:21Speaker 15: Our 12 locations with the finest quality from Monday cheese, dairy,
- 1:07:25Speaker 15: and meat around. You can find our vans parked in
- 1:07:28Speaker 15: the handicapped space at your local gas station, Tuesdays and Thursdays,
- 1:07:33Speaker 15: from 1 to 4 a.m.
- 1:07:35Speaker 5: And please, tell them Dick sends you.
- 1:07:49Speaker 14: Ring ring, hello?
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: Ring ring, hello?
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: Ring ring, hello?
- 1:07:57Speaker 8: Ring ring, hello?
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: Ring ring- You have a bad connection! Alright, you sexy fucks.
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: You better follow McGinchy's hot lead. That was some good
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: tips there. Why don't we get into voicemails this week?
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: We got a total of 1, 2, 3, 4, and
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: maybe a.
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: Special boner for you guys. Who do we got first here, McGingy?
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: We got Rick from Texas who might have a new identity.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: No way.
- 1:08:29Speaker 16: McGingy, this is Ricky formerly from Texas.
- 1:08:35Speaker 8: Now it's Rick down the side.
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: Hey-oh! Back in the 4-1-2. I'll tell you what. Sunday,
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: the tailgate was rocking.
- 1:08:45Speaker 16: Pan barbecues were chopping. 106 Man, it was incredible. I
- 1:08:51Speaker 16: won't be overly critical of a week one NFL performance.
- 1:08:56Speaker 16: It's always a crap shoot. But I did have a suggestion.
- 1:08:59Speaker 16: I think with the JPJ talks going on or maybe
- 1:09:04Speaker 16: they're done, I think that what we should do is
- 1:09:07Speaker 16: have a contract where every time DK Metcalf drops a ball,
- 1:09:11Speaker 16: $ 1 million goes over to JPJ guaranteed. I think it
- 1:09:15Speaker 16: will fix a lot of problems. I think JPJ would
- 1:09:17Speaker 16: be a very rich man, and we can get back
- 1:09:20Speaker 16: to playing stupid football.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: So that's a suggestion.
- 1:09:22Speaker 16: I'll let you all chew on that. But, hey, thank you,
- 1:09:26Speaker 16: Terps of Radio.
- 1:09:30Speaker 4: Thank you, Rick from down the south side.
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: Thank you, Rick down south side. Oh, yeah, that was
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: an interesting hypothetical.
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: No, that's stupid, dude. We can't afford to pay Jalen
- 1:09:44Speaker 4: Ramsey that much money, guaranteed. What? That's an unrealistic number.
- 1:09:49Speaker 4: Or Jalen Ramsey, Joey Porter Jr. That's an unrealistic number.
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: They got to pay him, dude.
- 1:09:57Speaker 4: I mean, it's done. They don't negotiate during the season.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:10:01Speaker 4: They even said that.
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: They doubled down.
- 1:10:03Speaker 4: It's kind of unspoken for a while.
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: Go figure. The night before a game, it comes out
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: that he had a trade request. And everyone wakes up
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: in the morning.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: He's inactive.
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: He requested a trade.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: Yada, yada, yada.
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: Just agents... You know, saying anything to try and get leverage.
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: Joey Porter Jr. 's agents have been all over this
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: news media. And they might be full in the casuals,
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: but they're not full in me, Pat.
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: And let's not forget, and I might have brought this
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: up last week, but that Le'Veon Bell situation was much different.
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: Le'Veon Bell, he had already played through his rookie contract.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: We had already franchised him once.
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: Joey Porter Jr. hasn't even been.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: French ties tagged a single time. He's still in his
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: rookie contract. So I just want to, you know, calm
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: the people down who are thinking panic mode. This is
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Lev Bell 2.0. He's not going to play this year.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: I think we're going to be fine.
- 1:10:55Speaker 4: McJunji.
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: He's going to play.
- 1:10:57Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: He's going to ramp up.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:10:59Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: Thanks for the call, Rick. Glad to have you back
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: in the 412. Let's hear from another familiar face. Honest
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: Abe Bernstein.
- 1:11:07Speaker 4: Nice.
- 1:11:11Speaker 10: Hey, fellas.
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: It's Honest A.
- 1:11:12Speaker 9: Bernstein here, calling in.
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: First and foremost, just want to say it felt great to.
- 1:11:19Speaker 10: Be back in the bird, watching the boys get ready
- 1:11:23Speaker 10: to play, eating some nice fucking.
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: Ham barbecue, that and.
- 1:11:28Speaker 9: The Cordello lot, Carb Soft tailgate.
- 1:11:32Speaker 10: What a fucking glorious time to be alive, boys.
- 1:11:35Speaker 3: Just got to get that out of the way first.
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: Overall thoughts on the game? Didn't think the team looked
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: too bad.
- 1:11:42Speaker 10: I thought we looked all right, right about what I
- 1:11:45Speaker 10: expected overall.
- 1:11:46Speaker 3: Some good, some bad in there. You know, we got.
- 1:11:50Speaker 10: First-year head coach, big Mike McCarthy, excited about what he's
- 1:11:55Speaker 10: going to bring to the field in these upcoming games.
- 1:11:58Speaker 10: You know, there are a couple mistakes.
- 1:12:01Speaker 3: There, both on offense, primarily on offense, not really on defense.
- 1:12:06Speaker 10: Defense looks stellar, in my opinion. The offensive side, I
- 1:12:10Speaker 10: thought there were some plays that could have really turned
- 1:12:13Speaker 10: the game upside down.
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: A couple missed calls, a couple dropped balls.
- 1:12:19Speaker 10: I thought that the score didn't.
- 1:12:20Speaker 9: Really reflect exactly how we played on offense.
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: But, again, overall, some good, some bad in there.
- 1:12:28Speaker 10: Looking forward to the rest of the season. Specifically on
- 1:12:32Speaker 10: this game, though, I want to get your thoughts on.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: A couple things.
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: What are you guys thinking about Roman Wilson?
- 1:12:41Speaker 10: I mean, the guy was targeted an unbelievable amount of.
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: Times, in my opinion. Did not think he was going
- 1:12:48Speaker 3: to get.
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: That many looks.
- 1:12:49Speaker 10: I think Rodgers and him might be getting on the
- 1:12:52Speaker 10: same page, but overall for the end of the year,
- 1:12:55Speaker 10: I don't know how that's going to look if we
- 1:12:58Speaker 10: continue to get him targets and maybe lack targets on
- 1:13:02Speaker 10: some of the other receivers. I just want to get
- 1:13:06Speaker 10: your thoughts on the run game I don't really know
- 1:13:09Speaker 10: what to think about it in total.
- 1:13:11Speaker 16: Again, I thought there was some good.
- 1:13:13Speaker 3: And some bad in there.
- 1:13:14Speaker 10: I thought Rico Dowell was a little bit underwhelming in
- 1:13:17Speaker 10: the overall grand scheme of things.
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: But, yeah, I think that there's more to come there.
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: I also wanted to.
- 1:13:26Speaker 10: Get your overall thoughts on the O-line. I thought that
- 1:13:29Speaker 10: they underperformed in total.
- 1:13:31Speaker 3: But I think that there's some promise.
- 1:13:33Speaker 9: I just don't really know what to expect from the
- 1:13:36Speaker 9: season after what I saw. I'm still riding the train all.
- 1:13:41Speaker 10: The way to the Super Bowl for right now.
- 1:13:43Speaker 3: But appreciation and insight on all these questions, and here
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: we go, Steelers.
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: Yeah, appreciate the call, honestly. Man, barbecue was a hit, Pat.
- 1:13:56Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm bummed I missed it.
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: Yeah, so a couple of his questions, you know, one
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: was Roman versus Jeremy, one of them was about the
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: run game in the O-line. Covered the run game in
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: the O-line pretty much, but Pat, I think I can
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: phrase this in a good way. At what point do
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: we start seeing Jeremy Bernard get, you know, eat into
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: Roman Wilson's snap counts?
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: You know, that's obviously Captain Obvious. That's not up to us.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: That's not up to me. I really don't know. It's
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: going to come down to good practice reps and how
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: he looks. And I think obviously Roman's performance is going
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: to have a big say in that too. You know,
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: if he starts struggling or if Jeremy's starting to pass
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: him up in practice, it's certainly something that I see
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: by the end of the year. I don't know.
- 1:14:39Speaker 4: I don't know what a timetable looks like.
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: He's so solidly locked into that spot right now. It
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: doesn't make much sense to me.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: This was the first time there were a couple plays
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: out there. The seat's warm. The seat is warm and
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: it's getting hot. He was coming to this game locked
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: in that spot. It was his to lose.
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: I think he played fine for who he is. That's
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: about what I expect to get out of Roman. It
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: wasn't bad per se like it wasn't horrible he didn't
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: fumble the game away or drop a bunch of balls
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: but he's not someone that's going to be making contested
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: catches if he can't burn you with his speed to
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: the end zone you might as well not throw a
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: deep ball unless you're hunting for pi which you'll probably
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: be pretty good at actually but um jeremy's just such
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: a better athlete he's stronger uh he runs crisper routes
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: um he's got great hands and he's he's taller and
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: those are all important absolutely.
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I couldn't agree more.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: Something he said, too, about the defense playing stellar, I thought,
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: and they played good, but there were a few plays
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: to nitpick where if they had better quarterback play, it
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: could have turned the game around. That one play in
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: particular where Kyle Pitts broke open down the seam and
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: it was just a duck and Jalen Ramsey was able
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: to catch up from like two yards behind and break
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: it up.
- 1:16:06Speaker 4: That comes to mind, but.
- 1:16:09Speaker 4: Yeah, I knew you'd say that.
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: I don't know. Quit nitpicking. Thanks for the call, Honest Abe.
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: Let's hear from Alan way down yonder on the Beaver River.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: Boys, this is Alan from way down yonder on the
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Beaver River.
- 1:16:26Speaker 10: Feels good to fucking call in, dude.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: Felt good to be down there on the North Shore,
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: bring the boat down this Sunday.
- 1:16:33Speaker 10: We're fucking back.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: The season is back.
- 1:16:37Speaker 3: I'm calling with two items, though.
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: One, that flyover was fucking bullshit.
- 1:16:44Speaker 3: Fuck NASA.
- 1:16:45Speaker 8: That sucked.
- 1:16:46Speaker 9: I didn't even fucking see the plane.
- 1:16:48Speaker 3: It was so high, I didn't even fucking see it.
- 1:16:51Speaker 3: It was like 50%.
- 1:16:53Speaker 16: Of my ticket price was for the flyover, and I
- 1:16:55Speaker 16: couldn't even fucking see it.
- 1:16:57Speaker 3: Number two, team-related.
- 1:16:59Speaker 9: Really looking for your.
- 1:17:01Speaker 10: Guys' opinion on this.
- 1:17:04Speaker 9: Derek Hartman only playing 24 snaps.
- 1:17:06Speaker 3: Cam Hayward only playing, like, 50% of the snaps.
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: Like, I'm all for keeping the boys fresh and shuffling
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: them in and out.
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: But, like, I felt like a lot of snaps, critical.
- 1:17:20Speaker 10: Points in the game, late in the game, I was
- 1:17:22Speaker 10: staring at 120 million just standing on the sidelines.
- 1:17:26Speaker 3: I wanted to see what you guys thought about that.
- 1:17:28Speaker 3: But boys did look good.
- 1:17:30Speaker 10: TJ Watts fully back.
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: He's getting MVP again.
- 1:17:33Speaker 7: And I think we're winning the Super Bowl.
- 1:17:37Speaker 10: Oh, yeah.
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: Well, hold on. He had a part two.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: Hey, I got a round two here.
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: I forgot to mention this, boys.
- 1:17:47Speaker 8: This is Alan from way down yonder on the Beaver
- 1:17:49Speaker 8: River again.
- 1:17:49Speaker 3: I was laying in my bed last night, and I was.
- 1:17:54Speaker 10: Like, severely pissed off.
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: Like, I'm just scrolling through Instagram, and then I get
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: this dealer's account pops.
- 1:18:01Speaker 16: Up on my timeline.
- 1:18:01Speaker 9: Like, this professional sports account has 3.9 million followers. It
- 1:18:07Speaker 9: just keeps posting some stupid-ass brain rot bullshit on my timeline.
- 1:18:15Speaker 16: Is this some mean 16-year-old account?
- 1:18:17Speaker 10: This is a fucking joke, dude. This is fucking Pittsburgh Steelers.
- 1:18:20Speaker 9: Let's post some real shit.
- 1:18:21Speaker 3: I wanted to see what you guys thought about.
- 1:18:23Speaker 8: Those stupid-ass posts because I.
- 1:18:25Speaker 10: Fucking hate them.
- 1:18:26Speaker 9: Thanks, guys.
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: Alan was angry.
- 1:18:35Speaker 4: Well, it sounds like the brain rot kind of.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: Served its purpose.
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: The brain rot has gotten to Alan.
- 1:18:42Speaker 4: It's rotting your brain, Alan.
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: The Steelers meme posts have gotten to him. The flyover, yeah.
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: I mean, could have been better.
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: It was probably like the coolest planes that I've seen
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: a flyover have. You know, these planes were badass, but yeah, they.
- 1:19:01Speaker 4: Were up so high and they made zero noise.
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: The timing was off, too.
- 1:19:05Speaker 4: There's something a lot of boats have. It's called the
- 1:19:08Speaker 4: captain's call.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: And it literally, it's only function is whenever you flip it,
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: it makes the engine like two, three times as loud
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: just to piss off everybody around you. Show how big
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: your dick is. I wanted to see that turn the
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: captain's call on.
- 1:19:22Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: It didn't, those seems like some pea shooter planes.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: What a shame. And the D line, we talked about that, um,
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: a little bit already. That's a great question though. Cause
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: I think we're all kind of thinking the same thing. Um,
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: anything else to add about that mcginji i know we.
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: Covered nasa's nasa's fucking dumb dude nasa's fucking dumb now
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: i got to think about that flyover i'm kind of
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: i'm kind of without on that fuck nasa space nerds.
- 1:19:52Speaker 4: Yeah fucking nerds dude they're ruining.
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: The game yeah anyways d-line snaps yeah i think it's
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: just one of those things we're gonna have to see
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: how it plays out but let's all remind ourselves that
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: it is a September game against a third string quarterback
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: on a team that will be lucky to not finish
- 1:20:11Speaker 2: last in their division.
- 1:20:12Speaker 12: There were some times too, where this touched on this briefly,
- 1:20:16Speaker 12: but I think the, the, the way they sub players
- 1:20:19Speaker 12: didn't make a whole lot of sense where like they
- 1:20:22Speaker 12: took pretty much all the ones up front on the defense,
- 1:20:25Speaker 12: off the team, outside linebackers and D tackles, and then
- 1:20:29Speaker 12: replace all of them at the same time.
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: And it's like, Exactly like Alan said, he has a
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: picture on his phone that he took, and it was
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: her big Watts, Cam, and Highsmith all just standing. And
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: I think Benton, too, all just standing on the sideline.
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: I mean, how much money is that just sitting on
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: the sideline there?
- 1:20:47Speaker 11: $ 120 million.
- 1:20:52Speaker 4: So, I don't know. Good point, Alan. I appreciate the call.
- 1:20:55Speaker 10: Yep.
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: Good seeing you as well. Let's kick it to Flobby
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: up on the mound.
- 1:21:01Speaker 9: Hey, Tarpsoff.
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: Hey, Fobby.
- 1:21:06Speaker 3: Game hasn't been played, so I don't got nothing to complain.
- 1:21:08Speaker 8: About in that regards.
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: And I might not. We'll see how it goes. I
- 1:21:14Speaker 3: just wanted to say I'm very.
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: Disappointed in Tarpsoff on Twitter using AI.
- 1:21:22Speaker 9: They're cutting corners, Tarpsoff.
- 1:21:24Speaker 3: You think the Steelers cut corners when they get on
- 1:21:26Speaker 3: the field? Is this franchise built on cutting corners?
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: I don't think so. I don't think that's what we're
- 1:21:35Speaker 2: about around here.
- 1:21:38Speaker 9: So think about that.
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: You can call me a league.
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: You can call me whatever the hell you want.
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: But you know I'm right.
- 1:21:43Speaker 7: Figure it out.
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: Ask me for help if you need it.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: I'll do my best.
- 1:21:49Speaker 9: Last but not least.
- 1:21:55Speaker 4: Any comments to make on that intern, dude?
- 1:21:58Speaker 7: Yeah, let's ask Fobby how much he's going to contribute
- 1:22:01Speaker 7: to us paying a graphic designer. Fuck my dick.
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: That's Doobie. Hard at work, Fobby.
- 1:22:09Speaker 7: Doobie's doing all that himself, dude.
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: And honestly, if we're going to put the data centers there,
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: I'm going to fucking use them.
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: I know for a fact Fobby sent me a couple.
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: He sent me some AI memes that he found funny before.
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: So he's a hypocrite.
- 1:22:27Speaker 7: That's my AI. My president told me we got to
- 1:22:31Speaker 7: just accept the data centers.
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: I have Grok Premium.
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: All I'm saying, Fobby, don't look at my dick and
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: tell me when to piss, buddy. Well, you know what?
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: We're going to do it even harder.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: Even sloppier.
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: We're going to make them even sloppier. We're going to
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: make sure they all have typos. You're going to hate it.
- 1:23:01Speaker 8: Oh, man.
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: Thanks for the call, Foggy on the Mount, I guess. Now,
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: no more callers this week. We did have a very
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: eventful Twitter Spaces postgame, or I guess that's X, the
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: Everything App Spaces now. A bunch of people in there
- 1:23:18Speaker 2: giving their opinions. Jim Broney was just on another planet.
- 1:23:22Speaker 2: This guy was, you know, stand-up comedian on steroids. He
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: was making everyone laugh, had a lot of good one-liners.
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: I clipped up an excerpt for everyone and just gave
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: you some of the highlights, the Jim Broney highlight reel.
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: Here you go.
- 1:23:40Speaker 3: What I got to say is, all right, I'm talking.
- 1:23:44Speaker 11: Fuck you, Fobby on the mat.
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: Get off the mount.
- 1:23:49Speaker 8: Fuck you, Fobby.
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: Fuck you, James Broney.
- 1:23:53Speaker 4: I'll slobber your dog. You dumb bitch.
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: You dumb bitch.
- 1:23:58Speaker 11: You know who's better than Jaquan Brisker?
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: Who? Jordan Whitehead.
- 1:24:03Speaker 7: Beaver Caddy.
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: You sound like a fucking retard.
- 1:24:08Speaker 9: All right?
- 1:24:09Speaker 4: He was flying over at 2,700 feet.
- 1:24:13Speaker 11: And the flyover.
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: Should be at maximum 300, 400 feet.
- 1:24:21Speaker 11: We get an AC-130 that misses the field goal post
- 1:24:24Speaker 11: by 10 yards, but we can't get two fucking jets
- 1:24:27Speaker 11: to come close to the goddamn stadium?
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: He's a down-to-earth guy.
- 1:24:34Speaker 14: First in the locker room, last out.
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: Makes all the right plays.
- 1:24:39Speaker 10: Fucking 2,700 feet!
- 1:24:40Speaker 11: They're a mile in the goddamn air!
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: That was a touchdown! Those fucking retards.
- 1:24:47Speaker 11: It's probably the same thing that happened when Aaron Rodgers
- 1:24:50Speaker 11: on third and fucking sixth said, oh, I think they
- 1:24:52Speaker 11: have too many men on the field. Let me snap
- 1:24:54Speaker 11: the ball real quick and throw the ball.
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: Out of bounds.
- 1:24:56Speaker 11: And then, oh, we're just going to go for it
- 1:24:58Speaker 11: on 43 and throw a fucking 70-yard bomb right through
- 1:25:02Speaker 11: DK's hands.
- 1:25:03Speaker 16: She doesn't give a fuck.
- 1:25:06Speaker 11: If anything happens to her fucking.
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: $ 16, 000.
- 1:25:09Speaker 11: 2004 Kia Optima.
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: These guys, they got no discipline. They rock on discipline.
- 1:25:16Speaker 7: Discipline.
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: Jim Brody, he's the man. We're going to be on
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: Twitter Spaces post-game, so chop it up with us after
- 1:25:27Speaker 2: the game. You usually get kicked off around 30 minutes
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: after game time.
- 1:25:32Speaker 4: If you're driving drunk home from the game, don't be
- 1:25:35Speaker 4: on your phone, though.
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: Yeah. Great point. Got to keep it classy.
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: You got to get into the week, Pat.
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I do. I do.
- 1:25:48Speaker 4: Any guesses? We mentioned his name at one point in
- 1:25:51Speaker 4: this episode, actually.
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: Oh, interesting.
- 1:25:57Speaker 4: Unfortunately, he's a Penn State guy, but we'll give.
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: It to Gateway's own jaquan jaquan brisker getting his first
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: nice in the black and gold playing 100 of snaps
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: looking much better than i thought personally um he would
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: so yeah shout out brisker he i remember playing you
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: know i didn't play football but watching him play he
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: was my age uh he was my age now back
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: at gateway.
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: So stud stud stud one of those people you see.
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: In high school you're just like yeah he's uh You know,
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: playing every snap, both sides of the ball, you're like,
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: he's going to be in the NFL, no doubt about it.
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely. Congrats, Jaquan Brisker. If anyone knows him, tell
- 1:26:41Speaker 2: them he's won. Dude, hit us with the trivia stuff.
- 1:26:46Speaker 2: What you got for us?
- 1:26:47Speaker 7: All right, so, you know, last week is a pretty
- 1:26:50Speaker 7: obvious one. We asked you guys who in 2004 week
- 1:26:54Speaker 7: one– win over the Raiders, scored three touchdowns on only
- 1:27:00Speaker 7: three total yards. Tell me who it was, McGinch.
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: Jerome Bettis.
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: The bus.
- 1:27:06Speaker 2: Easy, easy question.
- 1:27:08Speaker 7: The bus, classic.
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: That must have been AI. He must have AI'd that one.
- 1:27:12Speaker 7: Good classic one for week one.
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: Use up that water, dude. What's the one this week?
- 1:27:20Speaker 7: This week, we got a little bit of a different one. Um,
- 1:27:26Speaker 7: Still a week one question, though. So in 1989, the
- 1:27:29Speaker 7: Steelers kept an undrafted rookie linebacker on the week one
- 1:27:33Speaker 7: roster only because another player failed his physical. Do you
- 1:27:38Speaker 7: guys know which future Pro Bowler was the surprise beneficiary
- 1:27:42Speaker 7: of that roster shuffle?
- 1:27:46Speaker 2: Absolutely not.
- 1:27:50Speaker 10: Pat?
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not going to just guess. I have
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: some guesses, but, you know, no, I don't know the answer.
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. Future Pro Bowler from the 90s,
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: I guess.
- 1:28:03Speaker 7: Well, I'll reveal it next week.
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: Oh, okay. Keep your secrets. Pat, you want to take
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: us away?
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: Let's do it.
- 1:28:22Speaker 4: Steelers football.
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: Week two.
- 1:28:27Speaker 13: After a messy, dirty bird dinner, the Steelers are looking
- 1:28:30Speaker 13: to balance out their salt.
- 1:28:32Speaker 4: Coma with a little sweetness.
- 1:28:35Speaker 13: And what's better for dessert than heading up to Boston
- 1:28:39Speaker 13: to cream cheese?
- 1:28:40Speaker 4: Pie some Patriots? Speaking of cream pie.
- 1:28:44Speaker 13: Mike Vrabel hasn't won a game since Diana's dirty little
- 1:28:47Speaker 13: secret came to surface. May Drake turn the ball over
- 1:28:51Speaker 13: twice again, just like last year when the Patriots shit
- 1:28:55Speaker 13: in the bed worse than Robert Kraft did when he
- 1:28:58Speaker 13: saw the teddy bear's eyes blink red at that massage
- 1:29:01Speaker 13: parlor in Jupiter, Florida. Robert Kraft is begging TJ Watt
- 1:29:05Speaker 13: to say free Palestine so he can ban him from
- 1:29:08Speaker 13: Gillette Stadium on Sunday. Connections to Mossad, deflating his balls,
- 1:29:14Speaker 13: illegally spying on people without their consent, a massage prostitution
- 1:29:20Speaker 13: scandal that he was never punished for.
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: I'm talking about Jeff Epstreet, of course.
- 1:29:25Speaker 4: Robert Kraft is an upstanding citizen. He would never be
- 1:29:28Speaker 4: involved in any of that. Meanwhile, A.J.
- 1:29:31Speaker 8: Brown's on the bench reading high ankle sprains for dummies
- 1:29:34Speaker 8: and is quietly hoping no other wide receiver does well
- 1:29:37Speaker 8: while he's away. where Montre and Travion are going to
- 1:29:40Speaker 8: get stuffed like an overpriced lobster roll. TJ and Ice
- 1:29:46Speaker 8: Smith are going to take Drake Bay's bean to town.
- 1:29:50Speaker 8: Kyle Rittenhouse is a better patriot than any of the
- 1:29:53Speaker 8: bums on this roster. We beat him last year, and
- 1:29:56Speaker 8: we're going to beat him again this year, because when
- 1:29:59Speaker 8: that steam whistle blows, it's going to be a long,
- 1:30:03Speaker 8: miserable train ride back from Foxborough for those clouds in
- 1:30:07Speaker 8: blue and red.
- 1:30:09Speaker 4: Steeler Nation, let's show those no-good.
- 1:30:12Speaker 8: Bean-eating Boston Racers who the real six-time Super Bowl champions are!
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: This one's for Macklemore!
- 1:30:20Speaker 14: Here.
- 1:30:20Speaker 8: We.
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: Go.
