- Lord Hinkie: Ladies and gentlemen. Welcome back to another episode of the Z N G Dynasty Podcast. As always, I am your host, Lord Hinky, otherwise known as the G in the Z N G podcast, otherwise known as Junior. You can call me whatever you like, sweetie. and I am with my right hand manned, my best bud. Ninja say hi to the few people, big fella. ninja: Yo, what's going on everybody? Thank you guys, thank you. So happy to be back on for another podcast. Got a good one in store, sweetie. That's funny. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, I figured we would just, you know I'm trying to get more listeners, so we need a our our demographic is way too much, you know, male and I'm trying to get the female ladies in our here. I'm hoping my sweet voice would help that out a little bit, but you know, I'm just talking to you, you I'm whispering in your ear a little bit. Anyways, we got a good one in here for ya. it was a fun week four. Not a crazy week four, but a pretty good week fantasy wise. couple studs, a couple duds, if you will. but we're gonna get right into this breakdown, buddy. We've got a lot to talk about today. You ready to roll? All ninja: Yes we do. Let's get started. Lord Hinkie: right, without further ado, we're going with the goods and the bads, as always. We do the goods and the bads around here. and start us off first good. Strictly I could just put the Dallas Cowboys offense in here, but more specifically, C D Lamb. My goodness, seventeen catches. 189 yards and a touchdown on 21 targets. This guy made George Pickens look like he's not even a part of the offense. And George Pickens is an awesome wide receiver. absolutely demolished his Texans secondary and his other his running back, Javante Williams, three rushing touchdowns, Vulture of all. pretty good day for the two cat two cowboys, buddy. ninja: Very good day. I think pretty sure C D Lamb set an all time like Dallas record for most catches in a game in franchise history. So shout out, C D. What a game. Unstoppable. Unguardable. Lord Hinkie: Literally unguardable. this Texan defense might be a target going here forward, which we'll talk about later. speaking of Texans. Nico Callins. He's ninja: Nikolins Lord Hinkie: back, baby, and he's better than ever. Seven catches, 118 yards, and two tutties. Count him two tutties. ninja: Wood? Lord Hinkie: if this guy's playing, you he's a stud muffin, man. Doesn't matter who he's going up against. ninja: Yeah, called it biggest Nico lover you'll ever meet, even more so than his own mom. love this dude. love it when he's on the field. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, sorry, miss misses Mrs. Nico. Chat ninja: S yeah, sorry, Miss Nico Collins. Lord Hinkie: app. next good here we have on the list. Kyron Williams absolutely torched this Eagles defense, not only running the ball for eighty yards and two tuds, but ten catches for sixty seven yards. We'll talk about this Eagles game a little bit later, but obviously they were just in check down mode for that whole entire fourth quarter and Kyron just ate Birds can't guard we can't stop running backs, no matter who it is. ninja: No, and it's w we'll get into the birds a a little later, but Kyron, great game. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, he look he looked really good too to give him a fair shout. Like he he did look good. ninja: Yes. Lord Hinkie: T. Higgins had a pretty solid game for himself. Obviously Jamar Chase went out pretty early with a concussion. And T. Higgins just ate the rest of the game. Sixteen targets, eleven catches, a hundred and fifty seven yards, no tutty to top it off, but eleven catches for one fifty is gonna do you some numbers. ninja: Yeah. I mean, what do you expect? You got a stud wide receiver making all that money and you lose Jamar Chase, T. Higgins was the guy they're gonna go to. something to watch f coming up next week. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. Speaking of the guy, Kyle Money Guy, baby, had himself a day for the Chicago Bears against the New York Jets. thirty carries. They gave this guy the rock 30 times. 146 yards, two tuds. I mean, there's there's way too many ninja goods on this list already. I'm getting tired of it. ninja: love everything about it. My favorite thing about Money Guy this weekend, if you watch the game, it was like like a second or third and goal and he got like stopped like a yard short and he told the sideline, Nah, stay back there. I got this one. Give me one more and then he punched in right after. Money Guy is a stud, who called it? Lord Hinkie: Yeah. Yeah. Give it to me again. Yes. Yeah. He he's one heck of a player. I thought this backfield would go to more towards Swift again. the start off the year within like the first game or two, but Kyle's found himself a role when he's playing it really, really well. next good on our list is gonna be a fun one to talk about here. Keon Coleman. DJ Moore went out with a shoulder injury. Keon Coleman had six catches, a hundred and sixteen yards, and a touchdown for the rest of that game with Josh Allen. And I gotta ask the question. Do we care? ninja: From an unbiased perspective No And my biased being would also say Heck no I have no interest Lord Hinkie: Yeah. I know you're not a Keon Coman guy. ninja: No interest whatsoever. Lord Hinkie: I don't know, ninja: Like Lord Hinkie: man. I think I'm slightly interested. ninja: I still don't think he can separate. I don't he still can't separate. Lord Hinkie: Yes but I mean if it's gonna be him and like Khalil Shakir with no DJ Moore, I I think I think he's worth a shout. He's playing with Josh Allen. He's gonna be th get get the ball thrown to him a lot. ninja: Yeah, but if you were to like to go acquire Keon Coleman, what are you gonna give up? Like a second? I won. Lord Hinkie: No, but I mean like a third would be interesting. And then the other thing is is actually Dakota threw this out, in our notes. He's not able to make the podcast, but in the notes, he suggested that Keon Coleman is the perfect trade asset right now. And I think I completely agree with that. It's and and Zig actually described it perfectly. It's using him as a booster piece. Like you take like a pick and Keon Coleman and you try and upgrade your wide receiver position. And I think that'd be that'd be the right way to go. ninja: Yeah, I mean, I would have said this to you before he had a good game. I had anything to him to move. But Lord Hinkie: Yeah. But I think now that he had that good game, it gives people the chance to be like, okay, maybe he is something. Yes. ninja: This is the week to unload. Yeah. This is the week to unload. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. So yeah, all in all, I think I'm slightly interested just in general, but if I had Keon Coleman, I would be trying to trade Keon Coleman today. Which I might be. Shut up. Get my DMs. T Jinson had himself a day with no Justin Jefferson for the Miami V Miami Vikings. Sorry, I was reading the Miami Dolphins, but Minnesota Vikings. thirteen catches, 120 yards, no tutty, but man, that's one heck of a day for a tight end. And Hawk getting himself going. You know, I feel like he's kind of flown through flew under the radar. I almost screwed that up. for like the last like year, year and a half, ever pretty much ever since he'd been to Minnesota, but this season especially. But thirteen catches, 120 yards. This guy's still a player, man. He's still got it. I know he's older, but he ain't bad. ninja: Who doesn't love a good tight end? Lord Hinkie: Couldn't have said it better myself. Next good we have on our list, Emmanuel Wilson, running back for the Seattle Seahawks, who is starting now with no Zach Charbonnet, obviously, and no Jadarion Price 'cause he just got put on IR. twenty one carries, eighty one yards, and a tutty, and also added three catches for forty yard and another touchdown. I think he's gonna be a guy for the next couple weeks. So if you're in your redraft leagues and you need a guy to pick off off pick up off waivers, go for it. ninja: one thing to keep an eye on here, I heard that Seattle is signing Joe Mixon. Lord Hinkie: That actually fell through today. I did see that as well. Apparently he did get a physical done, but then after the physical, Seattle decided not to sign him. I don't think they necessarily said he failed the physical, but it's kind of assumed that he might have. ninja: Emmanuel Wilson had a good week and they were like, do we really need to? Lord Hinkie: Yeah. It's like he only got two touchdowns. Like, should we get a guy who can ninja: Yeah. Lord Hinkie: get like two and a half? but yeah, I I I I'm interested in him in redraft leagues. I can if you need a running back to start, pick him up for like the next week or two. I think Sharp's gonna be coming back soon. I think Jadarian Price still has like three or four weeks till he comes back. So you'll get a couple usable weeks out of him. We'll talk about him a little bit more later when we get to Seattle game, but I'm interested. next good on our list, Kenneth Walker, man. ninja: Yeah. Lord Hinkie: This guy is just an absolute stud. I think a lot of people were calling him to be like league winners for you this year. And K9 was like at the top of the list. Kenneth Walker, running back for the Chiefs. twenty two carries, hundred and seventy seven yards, and two more touchdowns. The guy is just he's just eating. Week in and week out. ninja: Continues to eat Lord Hinkie: He's starving. ninja: still hungry. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. ninja: Going back for another plate at the buffet. Lord Hinkie: Dude is awesome. He looks really good too. Like it's not just like he's getting force fed the ball and he's just getting like chunk yards after chunk yards. Like he is making people miss. He is running people over. He's catching passes out of the backfield. He looks really, really good. next good on our list, and I could I shouldn't say next great on our list, Teteroa McMillian. Did you like that one? ninja: Loved it. Lord Hinkie: Fourteen catches, a hundred and ninety two yards, and two touchdowns. What else what else can you say? ninja: Can't say anything. That whole Panthers offense was cooking. Lord Hinkie: Cooking, moving. I also I threw in parentheses, Chuba Hubbard had himself a game, twenty carries, hundred and twenty two yards, two touchdowns. Bryce Young, seventy percent completion percentage, three hundred and thirty yards, two touchdown passes, no turnovers. Amazing. I love this Panthers team. ninja: I I ha I saw a post this week and it was like this is why you need to let first round quarterbacks develop for a couple of years. Instead of moving off after two years and like, this guy's a bust after year two let them continue to work at it, try and fix it and find it and Bray Shung has I don't know what he's cooking, but it smells really good over here. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, yeah. And I'm going back for a second and a third plate. I love that kid. I'm I'm he his story is gonna be something that always is gonna like attract me. I love those kind of guys that have, you know, not necessarily failed but like haven't shown up fully in like the first like year or two and people just write him off and then he's just like, Screw that, like I'm coming back, I'm getting better and here he is, he's you know, reaping the benefits of his hard work. And it's awesome. I'm happy for him. I love this Panthers team. But yes. ninja: Always been a Brace Young guy too. Always. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, I feel like you've even been more of a Bryce Young guy sometimes than I have, but I've always been in this guy's corner. I think he's just immensely talented. but going back to Tet, this guy looked unguardable against this Detroit Lions secondary, which they also absolutely stink. ninja: Yeah. They're Lord Hinkie: Like really bad. ninja: so bad. Lord Hinkie: like he looked awesome. No no Jalen Coker also obviously. And then no XL as well this week. So this might not be a week in a week out thing for Ted. Obviously he had fourteen catches for like two hundred yards. But I'm just saying if Coker comes back next week, if XL comes back in the next week or two, probably see some diminished numbers, but reap it while you got it, man. He won a lot of guys weeks this week on the Sunday night football game. next good on our list. if your name started with a B and your last name was Robinson for the Falcons, like you had a really good game on Monday night. Bijan, nineteen carries, one hundred and forty five yards, and two touchdowns. And then Brian Robinson, backup, fourteen carries, sixty two yards, and three touchdowns. Five total rushing touchdowns for this Falcons team. They are rolling with Michael Penix and it's it's very fun to watch. ninja: Yeah, I don't know what to say. I'm not a Penix believer, and I don't know what's gonna happen when they face better competition 'cause I'm not very high on the Saints. But two weeks, not so bad. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. I mean they did play the Saints and the Packers. But we'll talk about the game coming up next week. It'll be very interesting to see if they can keep it going. Zig throw in here, Taekwond Thornton. He did have himself a day for the Chiefs. I think Rashid Rice went down pretty early with some kind of injury. and Taekwond Thornton had five catches, hundred and ten yards, and two tutties. and then obviously also has one ankle right now. if you guys saw that roll up looked pretty nasty. And I'm saying this again, I think I've said this before in the podcast. I there's pros and cons of being like the medical guy in your fantasy football group chats because you know, you get to people ask you questions, you get to answer you get to help people out. But the bad part is is you always have to watch nasty videos of players' injuries, no matter what it is. And I'm talking it and it stinks. Like no one wants to watch that dude's ankle. Just snap and break in half and go sideways. But I gotta tell my bros if it's broken or not, so here I am. ninja: Hey, we appreciate you doing the Lord's work. Lord Hinkie: Trying to. Somebody has to. ninja: I I gotta get off the I gotta get the injury report because sadly I think Monk retired from his injury report. Faster than Chefty no longer. Lord Hinkie: We do need a new injury guy. Maybe that'll be you. and then the last good on our list. let's give us a little bit of this. The Z N G Dynasty Parlay, ladies and gentlemen. I hope you guys bet it. Yes, we are this is the first week that we are hitting, but we hit. It was a good one too. I think it was like plus eight hundred, something like that. It was a really nice one. I bet it myself. I know Ninja did. I'm sure Dakota did as well. and I hope you guys did too. We win you guys a couple bucks. Just just throwing out money. You know, we're just we're trying to help you guys out. but yeah. That's ninja: Just trying to pay off mortgages. Lord Hinkie: all we're doing. ninja: that's my parlay. but we'll get there later. Lord Hinkie: All right, ladies and gentlemen. I think a lot of you knew this was coming. If you're a friend of the podcast. But it was a tough day for honestly, me personally, and I am gonna make this personal. These Philadelphia Eagles, man. They've taken the years off my life. And I've allowed them to. It is a me problem, I've no. But they've taken the years off my life. And not only the Philadelphia Eagles football team, but the Penn State football team as well has made me question whether or not I should find new hobbies on weekends in the fall. Like I genuinely think that there has to be A better way for me to be able to spend my days. I'm gonna talk to you guys a little for a minute about hope. Hope's a four litter word, and I'm sure the dictionary says it's about, you know, the wanting of something you don't have or the upcoming, you know, event in your life that you're looking forward to that you're excited about. That's hope. And hope's awesome. Everybody dies to have hope, you know, to have a glimmer of an opportunity, to have a a grasp at something you might not be able to have. You can reach for it, you can work for it, you can try, try harder and keep pushing with that hope to try and accomplish any goal that you want to. And hope can be awesome in that way. Hope can be amazing. But hope can also be detrimental. Because this Penn State football team had hope. This Penn State football team gave me hope of a brighter future. Of better days. Post Franklin. Pros Drew. No more Singleton. Let's move on. Let's build a culture. And you lose 34 to 13 to the frickin' Northwestern. Don't even put out a good showing. You can't move the football. You can't move the offensive line. Running back suck. Wide receivers can't get open. Quarterback is dog. And these birds, man. If you would have told me before the game we would have lost twenty four to twenty, I would be like, Okay, whatever, should've happened. They're the better team. But if you told me that we were up twenty to ten on the LA Rams on the one yard line. with like six minutes left. And we would lose twenty four to twenty. I would have told you to shut your fing mouth. Don't give me that hope. I don't want that hope. You keep that for yourself. I don't want it anymore. Can't finish. Can't throw the ball. Can't run the ball. Offense line can't block. This is like the Jason Kelsey Super Bowl speech. But it's bad. It's negative. It's sad music. That's what it is. It's sad music. I'm Jason Kelsey, but I'm sad. Lane don't want to play for us no more, man. Cam Jurgens can't play center or guard. Hertz is a running back. Saquon can't stay healthy. Devontae is too skinny. Man, I hope I just hope he can turn it around. And here we go. My TED talk, my sad talk comes all the way back to hope. And that's what everybody wants at the end of the day, but man I've had so much of it. And I just Can't take it anymore. Get this mic out of my hand, man. ninja: I'm Jason Kelsey, but I'm sad. a few notes here. so Penn State sucks. But did you see that Chip Kelly brought out the T-Wing offense? Love it. I was such a fan of watching that game back just for T Wing offense. Sucks it happened against Penn State, but I love that sort of thing. Lord Hinkie: I wish I could I can go back ten years and look my dad in the eyes and say, one day, Chip Kelly, this head coach of this Philadelphia Eagles team that you're really excited about, one day he's gonna be the offensive coordinator for Northwestern and he's gonna dog walk our Penn State Nittany Lions for thirty four points on a Friday night. I wonder what he would say to me. ninja: probably not good things. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. Probably like shut up. Like we should trade for Mariota. Anyways. ninja: the birds look bad. Bad, bad, bad. Jalen I think finished with ninety-three passing yards on twenty six drop backs. Problem. I'm not there's Jalen has elevated his game at the highest standard of football in the in the Super Bowl. Jalen was the best player on the field in both Super Bowls. The reason I'm not sold on Jalen is days like what happened on Sunday. Is because this happens far too often. Where he has no ability to elevate his team in the regular season. And that's why all the media outlets and all that talk about is Jalen a star quarterback and you go, Well look at the playoff numbers, look at the Super Bowl numbers. Yes, he's a guy, but then he constantly comes back to this type of performance. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. ninja: In the regular season, a game you should have won, your defense kept you in it far longer than you guys deserved. Lord Hinkie: Like realistically, in the fourth quarter we needed one drive with like two or three first downs just to bleed some clock and we couldn't even get that done. ninja: So I don't even know where my frustration li it lies with the whole team. But this week I'm frustrated with Jalen Hurts. Because you need to do more. You need to be better. I know your offensive line stinks. It's terrible right now. No Lane Johnson anymore. Which we'll have a side combo after this. You need to do better. Plenty of good quarterbacks, deal with bad O lines and still produce. Think about Lamar last year, when they had that terrible guard who let pressure in point three seconds in and he's still, you know, having two hundred fifty yards a game. Where's this Jalen? I need you to be creative outside of structure. If you have to roll out, if you if he you just gotta shorten the route depth, so it's just quick hitters, fine, whatever. But something needs to change and he needs to change it, whether it's him at the line of scrimmage, moving his protection, sliding his protection, or just moving on his own. I feel like he doesn't run if he's not on the one yard. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. Or if it's like ninja: And you have Lord Hinkie: third and sixteen and he gets like a four yard ninja: The bet Lord Hinkie: run and slides. ninja: the best part of his game is him on the move. And he's not moving anymore. Like he's he p they're treating him like a pocket pass. You can't do that. He's not gonna be the best with lining people up. He's not Paint Manning, you know, checking three different times to find the perfect play, which is fine. But you gotta keep him out in motion. I know, you know, mobile quarterbacks don't stay healthy, you know, they don't have long careers or they get hurt or Who cares? If that's the best version of you, make that part of your game every week. Don't just be a pocket passer and then it's Tushbush time 'cause we have one of the best Russian quarterbacks in football. Have that throughout your entire game plan. I don't understand the lack of play calling and the in depth of it where the best quality of your guy, yes, he's accurate, he's got nice touch on his balls, but he's a running quarterback. Give me one minute. Mike Graham's calling. I'll be back. Lord Hinkie: No problem. I'll I'll take it over. But I mean it's it's hard for me to look at how many injuries we have on this offensive side and not be like, okay, maybe it's not fully his fault. But we've been doing that for years with Jalen. So I I agree with you. I feel like we need to expect more from him. I mean last last week was not good enough. Simply was not good enough. we need him to kind of take over in situations like that when we don't have Saquon, we don't have Devante, we don't have Goddard, we don't have Lane. Like we need you to be the man here. And he wasn't. He wasn't at all. he wasn't yeah, he he he was awful. we're gonna move on here before we just absolutely get derailed, but I hope you guys enjoyed that. next bad on our list, Parker Washington. Bringing it back to football. this guy for La three weeks before that was a very, very solid fancy football play. and then last week he had one catch for seven yards. Can't have it. Yes, I'm a little bit salty because he was on my bench for three weeks and I decided to start him last week and he didn't do anything. But I'm also very upset. personally. next bat on our list, Garrett Wilson for the New York Jets. Three catches, twenty seven yards. Not good enough, speaking of not good enough. Hate to see it. That Bears defense is decent and I feel like they're really good in Chicago. but I'm interested to see them move on the road and see if that defense is still as good. But we shall see. Dawn Kincaid is our next bad on our list, and he just seems to be so much more week in and week out and spotty for me than I want him to be. one catch, seven yards, not good enough. last week he almost made this list with like two catches and forty yards, but I like, I'm not gonna dog the guy for only g for getting six points, but I expect more from the kid. I think he's incredibly talented. and these days where they I he's like four years in now. He's gotta be the guy. I mean he's just not. ninja, go ahead. ninja: can you play that sad music for me? Lord Hinkie: I gotcha. ninja: I'm not done with the birds rant. Sorry, I'm back, fellas. The inept ability of every coordinator besides Kellen Moore to not use this guy on the move. I've I've about had it. And I'm tr I'm done trying to protect Nick Sirianni. And he's been my harshest. I've been so harsh on Nick Siriani, and I don't think I've been harsh enough. Let's egg this guy's house. I'm tired of this. Every game, it seems like Something is going wrong. Something is catastrophically wrong. And I understand you lose Late Johnson. You weren't planning on it. I get it. That's a big blow to the entire locker room. You need to rally the troops and figure it out. Who's gonna carry the boats? Tell you what, it's not the birds. Birds sunk. The boat is in the water, drifting away. And now we're deserted on an island. And I need a change. And I'm not calling for Nick Sirianni's job right now. But let it be known there is an agenda being written. Me and all the peop all of my board members at NinjaCo are petitioning. We're electing for a vote of no confidence in Nick Siriani. Cause there's too many weeks like this. And it starts from the top. Nick Siriani. I just want to put it out there, your house might get egged. Don't come at me because I'll come right back at you again. And Jalen. We need to figure this out because I think you're a top ten player in the world. And then you keep having too many weeks like this. And maybe social media is right. All those stupid anchors going on that Jalen Hurts isn't a quarterback. Maybe they are right. Maybe I was wrong. The very talented ninja at evaluating talent was wrong. Was I wrong? It makes you wonder at night. The things I stay up late for, just thinking about. No, it's not about that good burger I had last night. No, it's not about seeing a friend I haven't seen in a long time. No, it's Jalen Hurts, buddy. And how can this Eagles offense not move the ball at all? There's no movement. I like the phrase God forbid a white boy get a little bit emotion. And I think I'm gonna change that to God forbid a white boy get a little bit emotional about the birds. Because my heart can only get ripped out of my chest so many times in my life. And I think my heart got torn out about six times and five of them were the birds. And I just don't know what to do anymore. I'm upset, I'm angry, I'm hopeful. But most of all I'm upset. And that's my rant. Thank you for my Ted Talk, Ninja. Ninja out. Thank you. And congrats Lane on retirement. hate to see you go, but love you, buddy. First ballot. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, let's talk let's talk about it now since it's here. incredible rant, by the way. Little white boy gets emotional. amazing. Lane Johnson retires from the NFL. he was out last week with a personal matter. Everyone was kind of like, Well, is he doing it? Is he not? it was announced today, hours before we're recording this. Lane Johnson has retired from the NFL. in my book, the best right tackle of all time. First ballot Hall ninja: Of all time. Lord Hinkie: of Famer. just an incredible NFL player, an incredible locker room guy, an incredible leader, and just an incredible man. we'll talk about him a little bit later when I do the outro, but he is he's been a big inspiration to me as a person. so it's he was there's not very it's not very often where I get like emotional and feel things when NFL players retire because it's just like, you know, they're kind of this outcast y Like obviously I watch him week in and week out and like I care about him 'cause I'm a fan of the team but for Lane it was a little bit different. so seeing him retire today is it hit me pretty hard so ninja: Yeah, it hit me about the same as when Kelsey announced his retirement 'cause we grew up watching these guys, these studs, throughout their career, and they brought the underdog Eagles to our first Super Bowl win. And we got to see it, and Lane was a huge part of that. Maybe one of the biggest parts of that. And he's been Lord Hinkie: He's the best he's the best player on that on that team. ninja: He's been a steady part of the Eagles franchise for a decade and a half. And one thing I would like to throw to you, is he the best Eagle of all time? Because I think I would mark him down, is it? Lord Hinkie: Best eagle of all time. I I would he would be up there for sure. I don't know if I can I I w I wanna say yes. He he for me has been There's a reason the Eagles today are seen as underdogs and they're seen as gritty and they're seen as, you know, kind of outcasts in the NFL world. but they don't care. You know, no one likes us, we don't care. There that was a chant that we had. And the reason that we are that way is because of Lane Johnson. It's because of the work he puts in and the culture he set up there in Philadelphia. I I I don't think I can us underestimate how important he was to this city. So I think he would be he'd be top three pretty easy for me. I can't think of many others I'd put in fr put ahead of him. ninja: think he's my one, but now we can get back to where we're at in the podcast. Thank you for my TED talk. Lord Hinkie: No. Yeah, I feel this conversation needed to happen. it was gonna happen eventually. ninja: I had to get it out of my chest. It was building up. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. there's no way you can if anybody's tuning into a podcast of known Eagles and Penn State fans, this was always gonna happen. Hopefully you guys enjoyed our sadness. Zig clipped that. I did get through a couple of the bads. Parker Washington, Garrett Wilson, Dalton Kincaid, Ninja, any qualms or Any throw ins to add there for Parker Dud, Gail Wilson dud and a Dolcan King dud. ninja: I'm sure you covered it. We're all set. We can keep it moving. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. Lad McConkey had a a a goose egg this week for the Chargers. That Chargers team is just dog. I don't know if I can play anybody on that team. we gotta get Zig on this podcast because I gotta talk to him about Corland Sotten. The Bo Nicks cannot get this passing game going and it's a little frustrating as a Jalen Waddle owner, but I've been able to kind of like wiggle my way out of it 'cause, you know, he caught a touchdown last week and I think like two weeks ago he had like eight catches or whatever. And it's like it's been okay, but this this passing offense has to change and Sutton's like unplayable right now. ninja: Yeah, I I agree. I'm gonna go back to Ladd McConkey and the Chargers, because it's official. I've I've been against you in terms of the head coach getting fired there. I've talked to my board members here at Ninja Company. We we fully endorse Lord Hinky's perspective that Jim Harbaugh needs fired. This can't happen. But then Cortland S I mean, the Broncos are gonna Bronco I'm always gonna be upset at their passing offense. I d I trying to not get my hope up ever on a Bronco wide receiver because since Peyton Manning it it no one has really come close to like I'm excited like Lord Hinkie: Yeah. It's like Demaris Thomas R. I. P. ninja: RIP. but like no one is gonna excite me week in, week out to start in fantasy or just NFL, like it just hasn't happened since Peyton Manning was there. So Lord Hinkie: It is what it is. Maybe that's gotta expect that out of the Broncos. But I'd like to have ninja: Is what it is. I do. Lord Hinkie: a conversation with Zig about that. last bad on our list, Travis Kelsey. Another dud, two catches, fifteen yards. Not good. I feel like he's just this is gonna be Travis Kelsey this year. He's no longer the week in and week out starter. You're gonna have to play him in matchups and you're gonna have to be okay with him putting up duds every once in a while 'cause he's he's not that guy anymore. ninja: mean it's it's gonna happen. Like he's like I would say now towards the end of his career or at the end of his career. matchup dependent, probably gonna have a dud or two and then we'll head up for like a big game and then he'll go back down to like normal levels. But I think this is the whole trend. Yeah. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. He's gonna be up and down the whole year. Yeah. decent amount of injuries to get here. a couple birds at the top of the list. Devontae Smith was a kind of like a shocking out this week. I think he heard of his hamstring in practice on Wednesday or Thursday. he was ruled out this week. I don't know if he's considered I think I think he's considered still questionable for this next week, so keep an eye on him if he plays. Obviously he's a big part of the Eagles offense. Saquon Barkley also pulled his hamstring in last week's game. He did not return after I think like the first drive. so keep an eye on him this week. If he ends up being out, take Bigsby, the backup running back for the Eagles, was just placed on IR, I think, as we're recording this. He's gonna be out for four weeks. So right now the only healthy running back on the Eagles roster is Will Shipley, and I hate to say it, he stinks. So keep an eye on the Seagulls backfield. It's gonna be somebody, but Who cares? ninja: You know what I'm game for? Lord Hinkie: Jeremiah Smith. ninja: yes, but let let's just work out of the pistol and put Jalen Carter at halfback. And just tell him move, fella. Just halfback dive every time and just put a th just Lord Hinkie: Just see what happens. ninja: put a like a two hundred ninety pounder in the backfield and just tell him to move. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. Why don't we just set up like we bring Cole Payton in, Jalen Hurts, and we just run like two QB read options RPOs the whole game. Let's just let's ninja: love it. Lord Hinkie: get dirty, let's get nasty. ninja: I actually saw something about two QBs. There's a division two college team. I saw a post I don't watch division two college football. But there's one system that uses two quarterbacks and apparently it's the most explosive offense 'cause they run like alert bubbles and then it can be a run, it can be a pass, it could be a trick play across the other side of the field. And Lord Hinkie: Like a double passage reason, yeah. ninja: like, yeah, with a bunch of guys who are like converted wide receivers, tight ends, running backs from being quarterbacks in high school, like if that got brought to the NFL, I was actually I saw it in like someone's like, keep this tape away from Ben Johnson because he'll actually do it. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, I could see that happen. ninja: But the birds need to figure out something, so I don't care if they bring out two QBs and figure it out. Lord Hinkie: at this point just lose out. Get me Jeremiah. next injury on our list, Jamar Chase also left early, I think it was in the fourth first quarter, with a concussion. I think he's still considered questionable to be determined on that. Obviously, can't really predict head injuries. It's usually like a week or two. but we'll see. T. Higgins also left last week's game, I believe, with an ankle injury. He's also questionable, so keep an eye on that. If both those Cincinnati Bengals end up being out, we're gonna have to talk about, you know, some Mitchell Tinsley kind of guys. So, keep an eye out for those Bangle wide receivers. It's gonna be a big one this week. Taekwond Thornton, we talked about him a little bit. He definitely broke his ankle or dislocated it. He's probably done for the year. He did have himself a good game before he went out, so you know, respect that. But yeah, he's probably done for a good amount of time. ninja: Yeah, that was a that was a gross one. And the Jamar Chase Lord Hinkie: Nasty. ninja: one, I'm not gonna say it was a dirty play, but it was a pretty blatant hands to the face, like what's it called? when you grab a guy by his face mask and Lord Hinkie: Face mask. ninja: face mask penalty, I had it. but pretty blatant where he like turned his entire head like the opposite way and then Lord Hinkie: Yeah. ninja: he got hit as he was falling to the ground too. Not gonna say it was dirty, but it was borderline. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. ninja: It's not like Antonio Brown getting lit up by Vontez Burfect bad, but Lord Hinkie: It's not a good look. next injury we have big one, Lamar Jackson ended up leaving the game later this week with a high ankle sprain. right now he's considered questionable for I believe they play Sunday night. definitely keep an eye on that. I would I would probably actually assume him to be out, especially if it ends up being a high ankle sprain. to be determined on that. some Tyler Huntley vibes coming out of Baltimore. We'll see. Rasheed Rice also left the game early. It's kinda why Tycon Thornton had such a good day. but now they're both hurt, so Jalen Royal's time, baby. Who knew? ninja: Please please. Lord Hinkie: Who knew? Gave me some Jalen Royals. I doubt it, but just for shits and gigs. He's an R guy. I was on him. Yeah, he's ninja: Is he is he a you guy or a me guy? An R guy? Yeah. Lord Hinkie: an R guy. He's a Me U guy. ninja: Love it. Lord Hinkie: I'm not gonna get excited though, 'cause I think this happened like last year as well, where like Rasheed Rice got suspended and someone else got hurt and he was still like a healthy scratch, so I think he's just a dud. and then I had Lane Johnson retiring here, which we already talked about, but booty. ninja: Play the sad music. I'm kidding. Lord Hinkie: Let's have a moment of silence for Lane. Thank you, buddy. We appreciate all the hard work you did for Philadelphia. I'm sad you're going. I still obviously I'm very happy for you and I hope everything turns out well with retirement. No, I'm sure you're gonna love it. But I feel like he's just hopping off a sinking ship and I he's getting off at the right time. So it feels a little weird. Timing obviously feels a little weird, but I'm happy for him. we have buys this week in the NFL. first week of buys. the Carolina Panthers and the Kansas City Chiefs are both on buys this week. So no Mahomes, no Bryce Young, no Tet McMillan's, no Travis Kelsey's. So make sure you bring out your lineup, get some other guys in there. First weeks of bye week, so taste stay tuned. Now we're gonna have to keep an eye on teams not playing each week. but yeah, let's get into the breakdowns. Man, we're already like forty minutes into this podcast. We gotta roll. But Thursday night football, week five. Buccaneers at the Dallas Cowboys. this this feels like it's gonna be a burial. the Bucks look kind of and last week against the Packers with Jalen Daniels. I expect the Cowboys to roll. the Cowboys offense is just it's it seems like it's elite. It could just go off at any time. Dak is a stud. you're starting all your cowboys across the board. Dax, E. D. George Pickens still, Ferg, Javante Williams. You're starting everybody. on the Buccaneer side, I think Bucky Irving is fine. I don't love it, but I don't hate it as well. And to be honest, I don't don't mind the Jalen Daniels in a superflex league if you have to. I think they're gonna be down for most of the game. I think he's gonna be throwing the ball a lot. If they can even keep this game close, that'd be awesome. But his rushing upside I think will give him a pretty solid floor. And the Cowboys historically don't do very well against Russian quarterbacks, but we shall see. Ninja, any qualms? ninja: No qualms. Lord Hinkie: next game we have the birds. The Eagles are at, in parentheses, the Jacksonville Jaguars. this is the nine thirty London game for this week. So early game, set your lineups early while you're eating breakfast, enjoy some crappy football. pretty mu I guess that you can consider the Jaguars to be home 'cause they're kind of like the notorious London team in the NFL. but This Eagles team is just incredibly frustrating. There's question marks literally all across the board on the offense and defense right now. and the Jacksonville Jaguars are absolutely rolling and I expect to just stay the same. I think the Jaggers are gonna whoop us. I think this is just a battered Eagles team that now has to travel across the Atlantic Ocean. we're not ready for this kind of game. We're not ready for this kind of opponent. It's I don't think it's gonna end well. Anything they had there, Ninja. ninja: one thing is a safe better. go out on a limb, go Jaguars minus six and a half. But for me, I think the birds will keep this close 'cause they always tend to keep it close. I would probably pick the birds plus three and a half if you're betting out there. but the birds Lord Hinkie: Thanks. ninja: should I wouldn't be surprised if the birds lose thirty five to ten. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, like that's that's more of where I'm at right now. fantasy wise, I think you have to play Jalen Hurts in your superflex leagues, but if you're in a one QB league, I don't think I'm playing Jalen Hurts. I might even look I I you have to look to play somebody else. and then it's hard to predict anything 'cause no one knows who's healthy right now. If Devontae Smith is in, you're gonna play Devontae. If Saquon's in, I guess you have to play him. But Like if Will Shipley's the starting running back for this team, don't go pick up Will Shipley and play him. Because he's not gonna do any. He's not an NFL running back. If we end up being without Devontae Smith again, it's like, should we play Duntavian Wicks? You know, should we is it the McKay Lemon week? It's not gonna be. I hate to break it to you. ninja: Because it's Darius Cooper's week. Lord Hinkie: It's Darius Cooper, baby. It's Darius Cooper's world, and we're just all living in it. ninja: How did he not make the goods list? Tough luck. But Y well, Lord Hinkie: Honestly, that's on me. Well, it's 'cause the whole Eagles team made the badge list, but ninja: they deserve to be in the bat, but Darius Cooper, what Lord Hinkie: Yeah. ninja: what a grab. Lord Hinkie: I think he has five catches on the year and three of them are touchdowns and one of was a game winner and the other one was that absolute moss job last week. he's the only bright spot for this Eagles team. ninja: Head topper. Yeah. so the Eagle stink, but Darius Cooper. Very nice. Lord Hinkie: Zig asked the question and I have to say it. D would you start Jalen Daniels, the quarterback for the Bucks, or would you start Jalen Hurts this week? ninja: this is gross, because I'm staying away from the Bucks. But give me any other gross quarterback. Lord Hinkie: Besides those two? ninja: Like a but yeah, like anyone else. Please. Lord Hinkie: Just anybody else. Yeah. ninja: is is Seth Hannigan on a football team? Lord Hinkie: I don't think so. He's selling insurance somewhere, dude. He's selling cars. I I think I would pick Jalen Hurts, but I just that's strictly just 'cause I I can't fathom to not. ninja: Like I'm trying to think of a bad quarterback I would play like over like Daniel Jones? Yup. Jacoby Lord Hinkie: Would you play James Winston? ninja: Brissett, yeah. Jameis Winston? Yup. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. Would you play the Greek Freak in Washington? ninja: The Greek freak. Lord Hinkie: He's the third string quarterback for the Washington Commanders. ninja: I think I I think I toe the line there. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, that's fair. this Jaguar side, you're playing T Law against us. you're definitely playing Bashal too, and the Eagles literally cannot stop any running back no matter what your name is. Parker Washington would be my wide receiver of choice, but obviously it's been kind of up and down this year. and I think I would sit Brendan Strange that the Eagles have been like kind of decent against tight ends so far this year, coverage wise, but that also kinda depends on if Zach Bond's playing and this Eagles defense. is just as injury prone as the offense is, so you could really like this game could get ugly pretty quick, but I'm definitely playing the T Law. I'm definitely playing two in and I'm playing Parker Washington for my wide receiver. ninja: when it rains it pours, play all your jags, move on. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. Yuck. Bears at the Packers. Love a good NFC North divisional matchup. no Khalib still as of right now, but we shall see. and the Packers just squeaked by the Bucks. the Bears son. Swift and Money Guy feel safe. If you had to pick one of those two, I think I'm picking Money Guy right now. but you start both if you have and then still kind of pick your poison at wide receiver. Ardunse had a decent week last week, but nothing special. Burden still had a couple catches. and then I think Colson Loveland seems like he's back to at least the baseline of like not producing zero points fantasy wise. So I think he's back to being like an every week starter, but we'll we'll we're still waiting for the breakout for him. ninja: Yeah, one thing about Swift and Money Guy, Money Guy absolutely went nuclear last week. Kinda expect it to swing in Swift's way this week. I found it like especially in fantasy and it's so frustrating because one of will have a really good week and you're like, let me throw them in my lineup and then the n then the other one has the better week. So kinda watch out, first. I obviously start both, and we'll get to that in the ninjas parlay. But Lord Hinkie: Would. ninja: I would start both, but I'd probably lean Swift will have a better game than Money Guy this week, but Money Guy, what a stud. Love being right. And Loveland, thanks for coming back. I was starting to get worried. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, me too. Packers side of thing. I like love. Usually say I love love, but I like love. He hasn't been playing super well this year, and I don't love this matchup. Christian Watson, gotta play him. Matthew Golden, I think it's definitely startable. We caught another touchdown last week. again, I don't know if I love this matchup against the Bears. Their defense has been playing well, but now they're kind of traveling on the road, so it's like I would Matthew Golden's a coin flip for me. And then Tucker Kraft finally caught a touchdown last week. I think he's good to go in your lineups. I think he's a top twelve tight end pretty much all week. No qualms. Zig agreed as well, which I'm glad he threw that in the chat. Texans at the Titans. Man, one of these things is not like the other. How are both of these teams 0 and 4? makes no sense to me at all. The Texans have just been getting incredibly unlucky. I think they lost four straight one possession games, if I remember correctly. they need to get going, they need to need to get going fast. I think this is kind of be get right game for them, but even then it's like We're fighting back to try and get like eight and eight, you know. and these t this Titans team is just dead. I don't I don't think there's anything coming out of this team this entire season. this is who they are and this is who they will be. Texans side of things, I love Stroud in this matchup. Obviously, you love Nico in this matchup. And this backfield still feels weird. Montgomery can't really get going. Willie Marcus had a touchdown last week, but he still only had like eight carries. I lean Montgomery just because I expect the Texans to be up and like pounding the ball. But I don't know if I want to play either one of the running backs. and I think Dalton Schultz I would sit right now 'cause as soon as Nico comes back, Nico's the offense. And you're not really getting much out of the rest of the guys. ninja: I love it when people talk nice about Nico. It makes me feel so happy. Lord Hinkie: I see a little smirk coming out of your corner of your mouse. ninja: Ever ev every time Nico comes up in a conversation, I have to smile because that was my guy first. Lord Hinkie: Mm-hmm. ninja: Always been mine. Love it. I wouldn't be surprised. You said they're fighting for eight and eight. I wouldn't be surprised if the Texans still just get hot because they played some really good teams to start the year. Like the Bills. I'm pretty sure they played the Ravens. Indy is a division matchup, which is real dicey. I wouldn't be surprised if they would rattle off like nine straight. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. And then obviously they just lost to the Cowboys. ninja: And just get hot. Yeah. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, so their losses so far this year have been by five points to the Bills, who the Bills are like one of the best teams of football. pretty bad loss to the Bengals by two touchdowns, but no nickel in that game. lost by two points to the Colts and lost by four points to Dallas, who are all pretty solid teams. ninja: Yeah, so I wouldn't be surprised if the Texans just if they rattled off eleven straight, I wouldn't be surprised. Lord Hinkie: They have the Titans and then the Jags, the Giants, the Chargers, the Browns, the Colts again. So they can be looking they ninja: Could easily win the next five. Lord Hinkie: easily win the next five. and then, you know, it's a coin flip at the end of the year 'cause they also play the Birds. So we shall see. but then this Titans team, I don't think I'm playing anybody. If you have to, I'm playing Cardinal Tate. he had himself a pretty decent week last week. I think like seven catches, almost a hundred yards. I don't know if you consider that a breakout, but for him and a Titan football player, it's pretty much a breakout. So I'm not playing any Titan unless I have to, and if I do, it's card out tape. ninja: I'm not playing any Titan unless I have to and if I do it's Epic Eye Manor. Lord Hinkie: What? Next matchup here. Bengals at the Dolphins. I'm calling it right now. Dolphins steal this game. Just feels right. Going home. Bengals are just lost right now. Don't know what wide receivers they're playing. And don't know what wide receivers they have. but I think I think the Dolphins steal this one. They get a weird win in Miami. fantasy wise, Ollie Gordon feels startable in this matchup. He had, you know, decent week last week with a touchdown, and he's gonna get a bunch of carries. So if you're playing any Dolphin, I'm playing Ollie Gordon. but I think the The Dolphins have a chance to put up some points against his Bengals defense. It's not great. It's not it's not awful, but it's not great. so I like Gordon. Coin flip a wide receiver. They're notoriously pretty bad against tight ends, so I don't know if, you know, a little Greg Dolchis is a little shout out, but he hasn't done anything this year, so we shall see. But the Bengals side of things, you're playing Joe Burrow in this matchup just 'cause you have to. and on paper it should be really good. But then it's like You're playing Chase Brown, sorry, I guess I forgot Chase Brown. But then like the wide receiver position. We don't know about Jamar Chase. We don't know about T. Higgins. If they're both out, are we playing the guys like Dante Myers, who I've never heard of, but had like seven catches last week? Are we playing Mitchell Tinsley, the Penn State legend? I don't know. You tell me. ninja: Yes. Here's why. 'cause Joe Burrow is that good and the Dolphins secondary is that bad. Where I'm okay, not like if you have your studs, start your studs, obviously. But if you're if you need a flex spot and you're not sure who to go with and you have Mitchell Tinsley after you picked him up on waiver wires after listening to this podcast I don't mind throwing him in the hair this week. Don't mind at all. I think Gasicki's a really good shout this week. And expect Well, wait till the for the ninjas parlay, but I expect a lot of great things out of Chase Brown, especially receiving wise this week. Two plus tuts. What? Lord Hinkie: I love this bit. all right, I'll ask you a question. Would you rather start Dante Myers for the Bengals or would you rather start on the other side of the game Malik Washington for the Dolphins? ninja: Malik Washington, but I'm an I'm a no Malik Washington guy. Lord Hinkie: You are a Malik Washington guy. That was a that was a that was a cookie ninja: Spin out there in the streets. Yeah. Lord Hinkie: cutter question. give me a Chris Bell. Any timer? Would. Raiders ninja: Love it. Lord Hinkie: at the Patriots. Next matchup. Pat Pat's pulled off a big one in Buffalo last week. beating the Bills. Nobody really thought that was gonna happen. Didn't you call the Pats beating the Bills? I hate you, man. You're the worst. ninja: Yup Lord Hinkie: and the Raiders just fell short against the Chiefs last week. That was a really entertaining game. I like this Raiders team, man. I think they're pretty good. I think they're well coached. I think they're excited. They're exhilarated. They're they give a hundred per 110% every week. I think Max Crosby can just own this game and just make Drake Mays Day a living heck. in fantasy wise, I think Drake May is still a start after he had a solid week last week against the Bills. Hendo would still be my running back of choice, but I think they're both kind of booty right now. Dubs had Romeo Dobbs had two touchdown catches last week, but I just don't know if that's sustainable. I don't think I I I just don't think a Pat's wide receiver interests me at all. And I think this Raiders defense is like pretty good. So I'm not really starting a pat's wide receiver. So give me Drake May and I'm out for the Pats. ninja: Yes. Lord Hinkie: Raider side. Give me Ashton Genty, obviously. Brock Bowers is a stud. And then I'm out, but I'm gonna ask you a question. Michael Mayer. Are we interested? ninja: No. When Brock Bowers Lord Hinkie: No. ninja: is healthy, I have no inquiries about Michael Mayor. Lord Hinkie: Last two weeks, Brock Bowers has been healthy. Myers had like three catches and a touchdown. And then last week, seven catches, like 90 yards. He's played like 80% of snaps. They're playing Brock Bowers as a outside wide receiver most of the time. Like he's like fifty fifty inline tight end versus outside wide receiver or in the slot. Michael Meyer is on the field a lot. He's almost their second leading wide pass catcher right now. I just somet I just think it's something to keep your eye on. 'Cause I th honestly I think he's their second best pass catcher. ninja: Well, that was biased ninja coming through. Let me get unbiased ninja coming through. Let me revert. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, restart, reset, yeah. ninja: yes, we're interested, but it's how much? how much do I really care? is he Ross Well? Yes, but am I gonna go out there and start a Michael Mayer every week? No. Like do I want him as like depth? Lord Hinkie: No not in this matchup either. ninja: But yes, but am I gonna start him week in, week out? No. So should I carry that much? G the best handcuff and still a good resulting player, but am I gonna use my one tight end slot on Michael Mayer? Probably not. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, I agree with that. I don't think he's necessarily a like a one tight end league start, but I definitely think he's a roster because of the handcuff, but also because of baseline value. ninja: And then bias ninja is going to tell you heck no because didn't like him scouting him. Lord Hinkie: He's been in the league for like six years and we're go still going off of his scouting. Dude, come on. ninja: I remember that tape. I remember that tape. I remember I didn't like it. Hey man, first impressions count and they last. Lord Hinkie: Gotta you gotta be water. Zig threw a note in here that said Kirk O'Chains. I I can't believe I just said that on a podcast. Kirk Cousins in for a QB start, and he's basically asking, should we play Kirk Cousins if Christian Gonzalez is out for the Patriots? What are your thoughts? ninja: Yes, and ninjas darthro of the week, 'cause you're you're throwing it out there too. Trey Tucker, any timer. Count it. Lord Hinkie: That's cheeky. Yeah, that's cheeky. I like that. next matchup here, Vikings at the Saints. I still kind of like the Saints team, man. I know they just got their butts whooped Monday night football against the Falcons, but I think if they had a little bit of run game, they would be a pretty good team. and I think the Vikings are maybe the worst four and team in the league. Like imagine looking at the Vikings roster and the Texans roster on paper, and one of those teams is owing four and the other teams four and Like that blows my mind. But to give them a little bit of respect, I think their defense is elite. with that being said, Saints side, I'm only playing Olave, and then I'm probably fading the rest. Juwan Johnson, I think, is a fair shout. He's had a pretty good year so far, but I just don't love the matchup. I think the Vikings defense is very good. I'm not playing Kamara. I don't care that he had two touchdowns last week. He's playing the Vikings now. Bellet, don't care. Shuck, not playing him. ninja: No qualms. Lord Hinkie: Viking side. you're playing J J if he's healthy. I think he's still questionable as of now. Aaron Jones with no Jordan Mason is a week in, week out start, I think. volume wise, he's gonna get so many touches, he's gonna be worth it. if J J is if Justin Jefferson is out, I'm playing T J Hawkinson. Obviously this week I think that matchup kind of worked out well. And then Jordan Addison is just a sit for me. He'd never stepped up in the situation last week with no Justin Jefferson, so I think he's just out for me right now. I don't think Kyler is a good enough quarterback to facilitate all these weapons. ninja: for the betters out there, I'd probably hit the under pending what the line was. If it's forty two and a half under. Lord Hinkie: Let me look it up and see what ninja: Love it Lord Hinkie: that is actually. ninja: Brian Flores is a stud though, the best defensive coordinator in football. Lord Hinkie: If he doesn't get a head coaching job right now ninja: I've been advocating it for the last two years. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. He is it's I know there were some questions about his leadership in Miami when he was a dolphins head coach and towards the end of it it did look pretty ugly. But he's the best coordinator in football right now. ninja: I think like so the Dolphins never had like stable like ownership. Like I feel like their owners are kinda Lord Hinkie: I think that has a big thing to do with it. ninja: but if you like I'm not saying he should be the birds next head coach. What? I would love it. But if you wanted to a stable situation like the birds or say Kansas City or like just a stable top to down network up top in the organizational thing, I think he would do wonders. I think he just needs a shot at not an absolute garbage franchise. Lord Hinkie: I completely agree actually. the line is forty two and a half and I just bet the under. ninja: I called the line? Got good. Lord Hinkie: You're a dog, dude. You're an absolute dog. next matchup, Browns at the Jets. Or you could you say Dakota at the Juniors. This these are me and Ziggs two Homer side dish teams. You guys have listened to the podcast. You've heard how much I like this Jets team. I don't love this Jets team. I'm not gonna see her and act like I'm a Jets fan, but on paper, I think this Jets team is pretty good. I liked what I've seen from them so far. And Zig Is a Browns guy. The Browns for me have continued to impress. I I do like the head coach there in Cleveland. and this Jets offense, I I think it just needs a spark. It just needs a little something to get it going. fantasy wise, for the Browns, you're playing Quinshawn Judkins, you're playing Harold Fannon. I think Bro Denzel Boston is solid as well. but I don't love the matchup for him going in New York against the Jets. We shall see. Jets side of things, the car Garrett Wilson versus Denzel Ward. is going to be a very fun matchup for me to watch. I think I'd almost sit Garrett Wilson because of that matchup. I like Braylon Allen if Brees Hall is out, but if Brees Hall is in, then I'm fading. And I think Sadiq is start a bowl, but I just don't know if I love it. I think this is going to be a gross, mucked up 14 to 10 kind of game. So I don't love it fantasy wise. Zig threw in here us having a cigar bet between me and him because these are kind of like our side hustle kind of teams and to be honest I'll take up on it. Screw it. I actually like the Browns in this game. I'm gonna butt that out in case the Jets lose, but I'll take the Jets side, Ziggle take the Browns side and we'll do a cigar bet. So ninja, any qualm. ninja: no qualms. Lord Hinkie: Colts at the Steelers. this one just feels a little the Colts finally got going last week. You know, they look pretty good against Washington, in the second half, I guess I should say. And the Steelers are just feel like a team that are just hanging on by a thread. I think they're just ready to collapse. they did not look good in Thursday night football against Cleveland. obviously I think everyone in the world saw Aaron Rodgers and Mike McCarthy yelling at each other because McCarthy can't call playing in time and Aaron Rodgers are giving them crap for it. fantasy wise, for the Colts, you're starting Jonathan Taylor, you're starting Tyler Warren, you're not thinking about it. I'm not starting a wide receiver in this matchup. Josh Downs kinda let me down. Like d Ashton Doolins getting the ball from them, and I'm just I'm not interested. Steelers side, Jalen Warren and I'm out. ninja: I agree. Absolutely no qualms. Colts money line this game. Market. Lord Hinkie: Love that actually. Even in in Pittsburgh, that's cheeky. Zig said he would start Aaron Rodgers in a super flex. I think he's he said something about there being last two weeks almost thirty points a game. He said he doesn't win any of the weapons, but he likes Warren and Rodgers. Would Zig was very involved in the in the write up this week, which is kinda why I gave him crap about the Sean Watson. Anyways, Giants at the ninja: Ha ha ha. Lord Hinkie: Commanders. Ninja. ninja: This is dubbed ninja's worst game of the week. Tell why. Lord Hinkie: it's hot dog water. we have ninja: It's Lord Hinkie: a backup quarterback in Jamison Winston playing for the New York Giants and we have a third string quarterback most likely playing for the Commanders. We got the Greek Freak. I think his name's like I don't know, Alinus Kylin Kalinicomanus or something like that. I'm calling him the Greek Freak. I think he has some other nickname from the Commanders. I kinda forget it right now, but who cares? ninja: That's his whole game, who cares? Lord Hinkie: Who cares? Like if we have to talk about it Do do we have to talk about it? Scataboo neighbors ninja: G C if you're desperate, then move on. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, okay, move on. Broncos at the Chargers. I said it before, but this Broncos team really needs to get its pass game going if it's gonna be taken seriously and like the especially in the AFC West right now. and the Chargers are just the Chargers need to call code and grab an AED. For anybody who doesn't work in the hospital, that literally means a patient's having a cardiac arrest and they're dying. and the Chargers need to call. They need to call code. ninja: Go spectacular. Lord Hinkie: They need CPR. Edited that out, Jake edited that out. ninja: Hehehehehe Lord Hinkie: But this yeah, this team is just it's on life support. Broncos side. I'm starting Knicks in the Superflex League, but one QB leagues are probably sitting them. Harvey is my running back of choice. I think he will be for the foreseeable future. He had 10 receptions last week. Absolutely love that. gotta get Corlin Sutton going. Have to. Jalen Waddle, I guess he he can play him. He caught a touchdown last week. I'm not excited about it. And you're sitting Corland Sutton, he stinks. ninja: Yeah, I've like I s I went on a t a little bit of a tangent about Denver wide receivers earlier this podcast. I'd probably sit everyone this game besides Harvey. You gotta show it. Lord Hinkie: yeah, you have to show it. Zig threw in a note here about Pat Sertan possibly being out this week. If that is true, he's saying we should play Lab McConkie. I'm telling you I don't care. I'm starting Amari in Hampton and I still don't even love that. And that's it. ninja: No qualms, no qualms. Lord Hinkie: Next matchup here. this is a banger. Let me just get some music for this one. Lions at the Cardinals, baby. Talk about an absolute shoot at points galore in this one. We've talked notoriously about both of these defenses being god-awful. And guess what? They're playing each other this week. Who's stopping them? Who like who is who is stopping anyone in this game? I have no idea. this is the matchup of fantasy owners would dream of. You're playing all the lines across the board. I don't need to tell you to start Jameer Gibbs. Amon Ra. Laporta. Goff. I'm playing golf in one QB leagues. I'm playing Jamison Winston in this or Jameson Winston. I'm playing Jameson Williams in this matchup. And I don't hate an Elon Tesla. I'm calling him that from now on. ninja: Ha ha ha ha. Lord Hinkie: I like me some Tesla. I got a lot of work in the red zone last week. I think they're gonna keep moving. They're gonna keep this ball flying. Give me a Tesla. I need timer. Cheeky. ninja: Here's the deal. I'ma make it real quick. You start literally everybody on both sides of the ball, don't care. Lord Hinkie: Is Dan Campbell I'm picking up Dan Campbell and I'm playing him. ninja: Yeah. Yeah, I'll I'll take Dan Campbell for one. Who was at a Simone Vacchi? stardem. Throw in. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. If I could if I could pick up Penny Sewell to catch a a trick play, left tackle, sixth whatever offensive lineman screen pass thing, I'm playing him. ninja: Yeah, I'm I'm throwing it in there. Where's Dan Skipper? Lord Hinkie: Shadat. Cardinal side of things. I love Jeremiah Love. didn't do it all last week, but I think he gets a good he has a good matchup this week against the Lions. Michael Wilson to the moon. This guy's a stud. I th I'm playing Marv in this matchup. He caught a touchdown last week. He that ninja: Marv caught a touchdown? Yeah. Lord Hinkie: was his only catch, but it was a touchdown. So here we go. I'm playing Marv in this matchup. Give me a Trey McBride two touchdowns. I love, love the matchup from McBride. Brissett, I think, is awesome. I think he's definitely a start in Superflex leagues. I'm playing him in one QB leagues. If I'm in a one QB league and I have Jalen Hurts and Jacoby Brissett, I'm playing Brissett in this matchup. Not even ninja: Yep. Lord Hinkie: thinking about it. ninja: You don't think about it twice. Lord Hinkie: it's all across the board. I can't think of if you g if you have a cardinal, just put him in. If you have a lion, just ninja: I don't know Lord Hinkie: put him in. ninja: what's the over for this game. I'm gonna guess this again. fifty nine and a half. Lord Hinkie: No, that's too high. Fifty three and a half. But l ninja: That's it? Lord Hinkie: but li legit that's like what? Twenty eight to twenty five. Yeah. Give me the over. I think it's gonna be sixty. A hundred percent. ninja: Yeah, bump that up. I bet you by the end of the week it changes to like closer to my line. But give me the over. Lord Hinkie: I'm gonna bet it right now. Next matchup. Zig did throw a note in here about Jeremiah Love had an ankle injury. I think he's questionable. I ex I'm expecting him to play. I think it was only like a mild tweak kind of thing. But if Jeremiah Love obviously ends up being out, I'd I would throw Tyler Algier in my lineup and I'd be very happy about it. I wouldn't think twice. ninja: Yup. Yup. You start everybody. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. ninja: Elijah Higgins touchdown this week. Love it. What? Lord Hinkie: What are the odds on that? We've got to find that out later. forty niners at the Seahawks, ninja. ninja: Ninja's game of the week. This is gonna be a banger. Lord Hinkie: Absolute banger. I love, love a good divisional matchup on a Sunday. we both agree though this is probably gonna be a better NFL game than a fantasy game, but NFL wise, this is this is the game of the week. fantasy wise, Seahawks, you're starting JSN. You have to. Emmanuel Wilson seems like he's gonna be the RB1 there. The Joe Mixon stuff came and it went. It's gonna be Emmanuel Wilson unless something else pops up. and I'm probably starting him in this matchup. I think he's fine. I don't know. It's hard to tell because this Niners defense is good and I think it's gonna be a good matchup, but I'm probably starting to Manion Wilson. It's a tough one though. And I I gotta ask you, because honestly I don't know the answer to this. Sam Darnold. Super flex leagues. Are we playing Sam Darnold? ninja: Yes, have to. Lord Hinkie: One QB leaks. Yeah, I think that's where I draw the line too. 49ers side, CMC and Kidd or week in and week out starts. Brock Purdy is probably the MVP right now. He's playing at an incredible he's lights out. He's unstoppable right now. go ahead. ninja: He's playing some backyard football right now. Lord Hinkie: He is, and I kind of love it 'cause I I don't think anybody was a big Brock Purdy guy like four years ago, but I'm kind of digging what we're doing there in San Francisco. ninja: Him and Shanahan are dialed. Whatever they pull up is working. Lord Hinkie: They're like Yeah, they're like Beavis and Butthead. ninja: Love it. No qualms, I guess. Weird reference, but alright. Lord Hinkie: I don't know y I don't know either. I got nothing. yeah, they're like Rick and Morty. Z ninja: That's better. Love it. Lord Hinkie: Zig said, is there a more hated QB than Brock Purdy? All he does is play ninja: No, Jalen Hurts. Lord Hinkie: all he does I agree with that. All he does is play good with an injury riddled team every year. He said this game is gross with start your studs and that's that. I I agree with him. I Brock Purdy gets a lot of unjustified hate strictly because he was a seventh round pick. Misery relevant. I don't know if I would say he's the most hated quarterback in the league. A lot of people give Jalen Hurts crap for being bad. I I he's top two though. I think it's those two. ninja: I'd agree. Lord Hinkie: Sunday night football. Ravens at the Falcons. This game looked really good on paper if Lamar Jackson's gonna play. but that is obviously still be determined. Early news, I think, is leaning out for him. So I'm gonna move forward expecting Lamar Jackson to be out. Obviously, if he's playing this week, though, you play him and that changes things. this Falcons team looks hot. They look ready to roll. This is gonna be their first real matchup with with Michael Penix and playing a good op opponent. So we shall see. Bijon's a stud. Absolute rocket. Drake London, you have to play him. And Kyle Pitts is just not startable. ninja: One more time. Lord Hinkie: Kyle Pitts is not startable right now. ninja: Thank you. One note I have, I didn't put it in this pod. You said the falcons are hot. I agree. However, is this cooking with fire hot or is this microwave meal hot? Lord Hinkie: Ooh, this is air fryer. ninja: Somewhere in between. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. It's an air fryer at like three hundred. ninja: I I think it's more of like a like a microwave and you put like a frozen dinner in there and it says like cook it for four minutes and you're like five you know Yeah, Lord Hinkie: Yeah, and it's like, it's crispy. ninja: that's kinda where I'm at with it. Lord Hinkie: I I I would agree with you. I I I think there's a lot of question still with this Falcons team. Their defense look good, but then obviously they played bad ma bad opponents. And then it's like, well their offense looks really good too, but then they've played bad opponents, so we shall see. I'm excited to see this matchup. Raven side of things, obviously I'm moving on with Lamar Jackson being out. With that being true, in my hypothetical world, I'm only playing Derrick Henry and then I think I'm out. are you playing Zay Flowers if Tyler Huntley's the starting quarterback? ninja: Yes. Lord Hinkie: I think you're that's probably the right answer. I guess he did score the late touchdown with Hunt Lee in as well. Yeah, screw it. I'll play Zay Flowers. I don't think I'm playing Mark Andrews though. ninja: Agreed. Lord Hinkie: And then on the off chance that Lamar Jackson is in, you're playing Lamar, you're playing Derrick Henry, you're playing Zay Flowers, you're playing Mark Andrews. ninja: No. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, I don't think I'm gonna blame Mark Andrews either way. It'll be a fun matchup though. I hope Lamar plays for football's sake. ninja: Yes. Lord Hinkie: Monday night football. I thought this was gonna be your game of the week. this is gonna be an absolute banger. They Buffalo Bills at the LA Rams. Zake put it in the podcast, and I was gonna say it. Is this a Super Bowl preview? ninja: No. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, 'cause the Rams aren't making it. ninja: I was gonna go the other way. Lord Hinkie: buddy. ninja: Let's not have that conversation tonight. Lord Hinkie: Here we go. I like the Bills to win this one, to be honest, but I think it's gonna be a classic. fantasy football, you're starting Josh Allen, you're starting J James Cook. I think Kincaid is still good. I'm starting him. and then I ask you the question again: if ke if there is no DJ Moore, if DJ Moore is ruled out. Are you playing Keon Coleman? ninja: No, not against his defense, no. Lord Hinkie: You're playing Khalil Shakir. ninja: In a flux I would play Shakir. Keelon Coleman is a one trick pony. And against the Rams defense, no. No, can't do it. Lord Hinkie: All right. Rams side, you're playing Kyron, you're playing Puka, you're playing Devontae Adams. and I think Stafford's pretty good too. This Bill's secondary isn't anything special. ninja: I agree, I kinda like a good Blake Coram week too. Lord Hinkie: Cheeky. I'm not playing the tight end. ninja: No. Lord Hinkie: No Higby, no Davis Allen or whatever his name is. Terris Ferguson, ninja: I agree. Lord Hinkie: I believe, is still on IR, so no T Ferg. but this should be fun. I think this is gonna be a very, very good football game. I I think it'll be pretty high scoring too. The Bills defense isn't great, and I think the Bills offense, like with Josh Allen, is just so good to where they you know, th he matches up well against everybody. So it should be a fun one. ninja: Love it. Lord Hinkie: Ladies and gentlemen, we're moving on to the ZNG parlay. we hit some money for you guys last week. I hope you guys bet it. I know we did. we're back at it again. me and me, Zig, and Ninja pick one touchdown score throughout the entire week. We throw it all together in a parlay and we give it to you guys for free money. Zig this week is going right back to the well, buddy. Niko. ninja: Collins. Lord Hinkie: God, you're awesome. plus one thirty. yeah, Zig just keeps taking your guy, man. Back to back weeks. ninja: this is almost unfair. It's week five now, and I have yet to Lord Hinkie: It's torture. ninja: pick Nico Collins and I'm in a torture chamber here. Someone's got me in a straitjacket. And it sucks to see, but he beat me to the you know, the list this week, so props on him. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. Yeah. And I I always hate when he goes back to back like this, but you know, it is what it is. He's probably gonna get it. He's playing the Titans. Fade Zig. ninja: Fade. Okay. Lord Hinkie: go ahead, Ninja. ninja: my bet of the week, our maybe the highest scoring game of the week. give me Sun God at minus one hundred forty. Not the best odds, but probably the best sure thing of this week. Love it. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, love that. he's always a go to red zone guy for Jared Goff. and I'm going to the same game. I'm going on the other side. I love Trey McBride in this matchup. Michael I thought about Michael Wilson. I even thought about Marv. but I'm going Trey McBride. He feels safest. And honestly, I think he scores two touchdowns this week. Yes, my bet for the parlay is just him to catch one touchdown plus one thirty five. but I will sol solely be betting him to score two touchdowns. ninja: Love Lord Hinkie: I think he's gonna be that good. so all those combined plus one thirty, minus one forty, minus or plus one thirty five with Nico, Aman Ross Saint Brown, and Trey McBride gets you plus eight twenty seven. So ten dollar bet wins you like eighty three bucks. Pretty good. You know, nothing too crazy. go ahead. ninja: it's it's enough for a night out of the town, you know. You gr you grab a nice dinner for where for your lady and yourself, you know. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. I think it's about the same odds as the one was last week that hit. So, you know, you never complain about winning money. maybe once we get hot we can start betting these high odds guys and see what happens. But for now, we're just gonna win you guys some cash. Ninja, break us down. What's Ninja's parlay this week? ninja: Ninja's parlay this week. We're toning down the burners. I thought I was close, an ingredient away, went back to the tight end well, burnt the crap out of it. no good. Did not work. So we're going really chalky this week. my first pick is Ashton Genty at minus 110. Quinchon Judkins at plus one forty. Love his matchup this week. DeAndre Swift at plus one ten. Yes, I'm a money guy guy. But like I said before, they tend to switch weeks where they're hot and cold. give me DeAndre Swift this week. And then Chase Brown minus 155. I almost put on here. Give me two. What? Three. What? Lord Hinkie: What? Huh? ninja: Who knows? The sky's the limit for this guy. But one touchdown for minus 155. You had all of that nonsense up to about plus fourteen eighty two odds. Ten bucks to win your roughly 160 big ones. Love to see it, that's a lot of beer money. Lord Hinkie: That's a whole lot of beer money. that's I I love a lot of those picks. the Chase Brown one I think we should have probably talked about more. If Jamar Chase ends up being out and T Higgins ends up being out, Chase Brown's gonna be the guy there. He's gonna catch a lot of passes. ninja: He'll be Lord Hinkie: He's gonna yeah. ninja: he'll be part I always make a two touchdown like parlay. He'll be in it for sure this week. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, definitely. Exp even if one of them is out. absolutely love that parlay and I love this podcast. that brings us to an end. Ninja, you got anything to say to the people we fellow before we head out of here? ninja: nothing too much. for us people in Pennsylvania, fellow birds fans, fellow Penn State fans, you know, just hang in there. We've been through some dark times before. and we we got through it. And we'll get through it again. Just hang tough, you know. Talk to your coworkers about it, vent, you know, talk to your friends. Vent Lord Hinkie: Yeah. ninja: d don't let it sit in there. You gotta get it out. Do it in a healthy way, talk to your friends, talk to your coworkers about it. But We'll make it through like we always do. Love you guys. Till the next one. Lord Hinkie: Would. Yeah. hit up to those group chats. Vent to your boys. Send them a bunch of outrageous tweets. Man, it's so tough being i I think the most frustrating thing is that if you're a fan of like the Eagles and the f the Penn State football and even like the Phillies, like if you're a Philly PA guy, all the issues with all of our teams is the same thing. They they they can't play offense. There's no scoring, there's no Organization, there's no excitement, there's no high level skill set. It's just nothing. Phils can't score runs, Eagles can't score points, Penn State can't run the ball or do anything. It's frustrating. It sucks because it's all the same issue across the board. but anyway, so that brings us to the end of the podcast. As always, thank you guys for listening. I appreciate you guys tuning in. be a friend, tell a friend something nice, be kind to those people around you. Be kind to those Burgets fans, be kind to those Penn State fans. you know, and just be kind to everybody you see out there. you never know you never know what people are going through. I kinda wanted to bring this back to Lane Johnson retiring today. Obviously we talked about it a little bit earlier, but I think one of the reasons Lane is a big role model for me was his ability to speak up publicly and talk about his mental health and how big of a thing it was for him going through the NFL, even before the NFL, outside of football, and just as a man. I think that was the first time in my life where I I heard someone as like high caliber and high status of a you know a starting NFL player, a legend, and Lane Johnson talk about, you know, not being okay, you know, talking about being nervous before football games and throwing up in hotel rooms and you know, not always being super confident in himself. And I think it was him and Brandon Brooks from back in the day in the first Super Bowl team. And they were very open and very honest about men's mental health and, you know, being okay with not being okay and just, you know, not beating yourself up for it and knowing that it's normal, that it's fine and that you can work through it. that was a a big thing in my life years ago. And I think that's a reason why I kind of like talking about at the end of my podcast, 'cause I don't think a lot of people do. You know, a lot of people kind of ignore men's mental health or, you know, mental health in general. And I I think it should be okay to talk about. I think guys should be able to talk about this with each other. if you guys think it's, you know, unmanly or not tough or, you know, not cool. or we think, you know, your friends are gonna think less of you because you're, you know, talking about not feeling okay or being, you know, upset about something, then, you know, maybe those aren't friends you wanna keep around. But yeah, I kinda wanna bring it back to Lane. I appreciate him as a football player, obviously. but I think mostly I I appreciate him as a man for kind of opening up my eyes to the fact that mental health for anybody is a big thing and should be taken seriously. So, Thank you, Lane. I appreciate it. I hope you enjoy retirement. not only have you changed lives in the football world, but you've changed lives outside of it. and you know, I hope you know that. So thank you guys for listening. I appreciate you guys tuning in, and I'll see you guys in the next one. Peace.
