Speaker 1: What's up, everybody. Welcome to another edition of the NFL
• 0:13
Speaker 1: Fantasy Football Show. It's Me Your Man, MG. Marcus Grant,
• 0:16
Speaker 1: joined by Michael Florio and Lakwan Jones l Q. You're
• 0:20
Speaker 1: like us and you're a degenerate who plays in wacam
• 0:22
  Speaker 1: any leagues?
• 0:22
Speaker 2: How many if you've done the tally yet? How many?
• 0:25
Speaker 2: Did you make the playoffs? In seven?
• 0:27
Speaker 3: The lucky number seven, and I hope to bring home
• 0:30
Speaker 3: the gold in all seven and I'm posturing that way
• 0:33
Speaker 3: to bring home all seven. So hopefully fingers crossed, we
• 0:36
  Speaker 3: get it done.
• 0:37
  Speaker 2: Sure it's seven, it's not six six seven, don't we're
• 0:41
Speaker 2: trying to make that die.
• 0:42
Speaker 1: Come on, No, I'm gonna absolutely bury it by saying
• 0:46
Speaker 1: it over over till people are sick of it.
• 0:49
Speaker 2: I said already, I don't have you? Have you done
• 0:52
Speaker 2: the count yet? I don't think I've done the.
• 0:53
Speaker 4: Official of I only did redraft, like I'm not doing
• 0:55
Speaker 4: counting best Ball or Dynasty. Eight of eleven made the
• 0:59
Speaker 4: playoffs and the three that didn't. All three came down
• 1:02
Speaker 4: to Week fourteen Wow, one of which came down to
• 1:05
Speaker 4: AJ Brown dropped. Literally, if he catches that touchdown, I
• 1:08
Speaker 4: make the playoffs, he drops it, I lose it and
• 1:11
Speaker 4: I missed the playoffs.
• 1:12
Speaker 2: I think out of the seven redraft leagues, I think
• 1:15
Speaker 2: I made four, so you know more than half. We're
• 1:19
Speaker 2: all putting a differcentage out there. It's all. It's all.
• 1:21
Speaker 2: That's all that matters. Like once you get here, all
• 1:23
Speaker 2: that matters, and what this one.
• 1:25
Speaker 1: Once you get to this point, you know, hey, the
• 1:27
Speaker 1: ships fall where they may like, it's sort of out
• 1:29
Speaker 1: of your hands. The job is to make it to
• 1:30
Speaker 1: the second season. At that point anything can happen. So
• 1:34
Speaker 1: our job today, that's pretty much every other day of
• 1:38
Speaker 1: the year, is to help you continue to succeed in
• 1:41
Speaker 1: your fantasy playoffs or I guess in your consolation bracket
• 1:43
Speaker 1: if you're in that too, right where if you win
• 1:47
Speaker 1: to the bowl bracket, you're out right, That's how it
• 1:49
Speaker 1: works in the consolation right you win, you're done, it's over.
• 1:51
Speaker 2: Or if you keep losing, you lose all the way.
• 1:54
  Speaker 2: I've never really.
• 1:54
Speaker 4: There's there's like for punishment leagues. I think that like
• 1:57
Speaker 4: my league, my home league does it where you the
• 2:00
Speaker 4: consolation is for the winner of it gets to make
• 2:02
Speaker 4: their selection of like you could pick first pick twelfth
• 2:05
Speaker 4: pick whatever you want, but regardless of what's on the
• 2:09
Speaker 4: line in yours, waivers are for teams in playoffs.
• 2:12
Speaker 1: I'm gonna die this argument again to day, this argument
• 2:17
Speaker 1: again today. What we are gonna do today is the
• 2:20
Speaker 1: starts and sits for week fifteen plus. We are putting
• 2:24
Speaker 1: Justin Jefferson in the start a meter. We're gonna have
• 2:27
Speaker 1: some hot takes and we will be joined as always
• 2:29
Speaker 1: during the week by cam Wolf.
• 2:31
Speaker 2: But we are going with the starts and sits.
• 2:33
Speaker 1: Of course, you can read all of Michael lef Florio's
• 2:35
Speaker 1: starts and sits at NFL dot com slash starts sit.
• 2:38
Speaker 2: See how that works. It's really simple. Let's we go
• 2:40
Speaker 2: with the quarterback position. Who do you like? Who do
• 2:42
Speaker 2: you not like? In Week fifteen, Lamar looked like Lamar again.
• 2:46
Speaker 2: He has a fantastic match.
• 2:47
Speaker 4: At least he was running again, which I should say
• 2:49
Speaker 4: like he didn't look like full Lamar, but close to it.
• 2:52
Speaker 4: Running again and great match against the Bengals. I don't
• 2:55
Speaker 4: think they could stop him twice in a three week span.
• 2:57
Speaker 4: Jackson Dart just a reminder, he was at over twenty
• 3:00
Speaker 4: one Fantasy points per game as a starter of the
• 3:02
Speaker 4: Commanders have really struggled against the pass this year. I
• 3:06
Speaker 4: think Jared Goff, I expect the Lions to be really
• 3:09
Speaker 4: aggressive this week. That means going for it on fourth down,
• 3:11
Speaker 4: going for two at times, and throwing the.
• 3:14
Speaker 2: Ball a lot. The Rams they have a very good
• 3:17
  Speaker 2: offense as well.
• 3:18
Speaker 4: They've also struggled a little bit against the pass as
• 3:20
  Speaker 4: of late.
• 3:21
Speaker 2: I'm not trying to cause a crashouts. Yeah, we just
• 3:23
Speaker 2: got to get through the show. I guess yet the show.
• 3:27
Speaker 4: Look, look, Rock Purdy, I'm saying good things about your
• 3:30
Speaker 4: team here. Look he's a safe floor option in a
• 3:33
Speaker 4: great matchup the Sis. I'm sitting Jacoby Brissett. I'm doing
• 3:36
Speaker 4: it so myself in a number of leagues. I just
• 3:38
Speaker 4: wanted to avoid the Texans matchup at all costs. Jordan
• 3:41
Speaker 4: Love is very touchdown dependent, and he's facing the team
• 3:44
Speaker 4: that is a lot of the second fewest pass touchdowns.
• 3:46
Speaker 4: Caleb is playing in a blizzard and the floor already
• 3:49
Speaker 4: is a week losing floor, so I'm getting away from that.
• 3:52
Speaker 2: And then CJ. Stroud.
• 3:53
Speaker 4: Yeah, I know the Texans are winning and their fun
• 3:55
Speaker 4: story right now, but it's all.
• 3:57
Speaker 2: Bad for fantasy unless you have Nico Collins. Really.
• 4:00
Speaker 1: Yeah, somebody asked me whether they would start h C J.
• 4:05
Speaker 1: Stroud or uh oh who Okayle Williams, I think it
• 4:10
  Speaker 1: was or C. J.
• 4:12
Speaker 2: Stroud really even in the frozen.
• 4:17
Speaker 4: That might change, Okay, the weather might put I would
• 4:20
Speaker 4: go JJ McCarthy though, over those options like go pick
• 4:23
Speaker 4: him up, he's out there, Get Marcus Mariota.
• 4:25
Speaker 2: He's might be out there.
• 4:26
Speaker 1: Marcus Mariota this week is an option against the New
• 4:29
Speaker 1: York footballer said that zikes kwan Jordan Love going up
• 4:34
Speaker 1: against the Denver Broncos. He has played well, looked very
• 4:38
Speaker 1: good against the Chicago Bears last week. Also, it's large
• 4:42
Speaker 1: Japanese automaker palooza at your local dealership.
• 4:45
  Speaker 2: Or what I think. That's how I think, that's how
• 4:46
Speaker 2: it goes your feelings on Jordan Love this week.
• 4:51
Speaker 3: I like that he's a sit this week because this
• 4:53
Speaker 3: is a matchup where we've seen the Broncos put hands
• 4:56
Speaker 3: and feet on quarterbacks, like this is the number one
• 4:58
Speaker 3: team in QB HIT, so they are to be physical.
• 5:00
Speaker 3: They're going to touch him, okay, and this is a
• 5:03
Speaker 3: defense that could take the ball away. So they're completing
• 5:05
Speaker 3: their sacks they're taking the ball away, causing chaos in
• 5:08
Speaker 3: the trenches. This is not a matchup where Jordan Love
• 5:10
Speaker 3: should be taken into starting lineups. Don't get cute, but
• 5:13
Speaker 3: I will say this, This isn't where Jordan Love is forgotten.
• 5:16
Speaker 3: Hopefully you make it to the next round, because if
• 5:18
Speaker 3: you make it to the next round in the playoffs,
• 5:20
Speaker 3: I'm starting him in week sixteen and seventeen when you
• 5:23
Speaker 3: have the Bears in the Baltimore Ravens to wrap up
• 5:25
Speaker 3: the championship. So this isn't like a completely let go
• 5:28
Speaker 3: to the wave wire pick up another quarterback. This is
• 5:31
Speaker 3: where you're gonna stash and roster and hold on to
• 5:33
Speaker 3: Jordan Love because I like his playoff matchups in the
• 5:36
  Speaker 3: next few weeks.
• 5:37
Speaker 1: All right, so we're not necessarily starting Jordan Love this week.
• 5:41
Speaker 1: But maybe don't drop them, don't drop them, don't drop him,
• 5:45
  Speaker 1: don't do it.
• 5:46
Speaker 2: It's shouting a good fantasy quarterback.
• 5:50
Speaker 4: I think he's a real highly underrated, real life quarterback.
• 5:53
Speaker 4: I think what holds him back from being so in fantasy.
• 5:57
Speaker 4: I think he has the upside of being like not
• 5:59
Speaker 4: in a lead option because he doesn't run, but like
• 6:02
Speaker 4: that second tier the Packers just need to let him
• 6:04
Speaker 4: throw more. They're throwing the ball at I know, last
• 6:06
Speaker 4: I checked, it was the third lowest rate in the NFL.
• 6:09
Speaker 2: That was coming into last week. It might have changed
• 6:11
Speaker 2: a little bit, but let him air it out. He
• 6:14
Speaker 2: statistically was is one of the best throwers of the
• 6:16
Speaker 2: football in the NFL.
• 6:17
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean he threw the ball really well last
• 6:19
Speaker 1: week watching that game against Chicago. Just a lot of
• 6:21
Speaker 1: touch passes, a lot of on target, on time throws.
• 6:25
Speaker 2: He's really really good against Chicago.
• 6:27
Speaker 3: Also say he's a really predictable quarterback as well.
• 6:30
Speaker 2: You can predict it.
• 6:31
Speaker 3: With matchups he's going to do good and then the
• 6:33
Speaker 3: matchups he's going to do bad.
• 6:34
Speaker 1: And like for example this week, yeah on the road
• 6:37
Speaker 1: at Denver, doesn't seem all that the appealing for joinings. Yeah,
• 6:43
Speaker 1: over the running backs because this is I don't know,
• 6:47
Speaker 1: I think there's an interesting running back matchups this week
• 6:49
  Speaker 1: across the board.
• 6:50
Speaker 2: Who are your starts and who are your sits? Travis
• 6:52
Speaker 2: Etna is a must start for me this week. I
• 6:54
Speaker 2: have a hot take with him later on in the show.
• 6:58
  Speaker 2: I love r J Harvey. Look.
• 7:00
Speaker 4: R J Harvey is the first Sean Payn running back
• 7:03
Speaker 4: to get the bulk of carries, targets, and goal on
• 7:05
Speaker 4: usage since prime Alvin Kamara, Quinn Shawn Judkins gets so
• 7:09
  Speaker 4: much volume.
• 7:10
Speaker 2: He's the goal one runner there, and it's going to
• 7:12
  Speaker 2: be a feel.
• 7:13
Speaker 4: Of negative ten, I believe is the high right now
• 7:15
Speaker 4: they're calling for in that game, they're gonna run.
• 7:17
Speaker 2: Good luck tackling him. I think Tremon and Ramandre are
• 7:21
Speaker 2: in play against the Bills. I think Trayon is the
• 7:23
  Speaker 2: highest ceiling play.
• 7:24
Speaker 4: I prefer him, but Steven said has a good chance
• 7:27
Speaker 4: of scoring a touchdown.
• 7:28
Speaker 2: And then the Sis. Look, it's looking like it's gonna be.
• 7:33
Speaker 4: Brady Cook as the quarterback for the Jets, So yeah,
• 7:37
Speaker 4: that's bad for free call.
• 7:39
Speaker 2: He had one target from him last week.
• 7:40
Speaker 4: And the Jags are the best run defense statistically, David
• 7:44
Speaker 4: Montgomery because the Rams are elite against the run, and
• 7:47
Speaker 4: don't look now in the last month, he's averaging eight
• 7:49
  Speaker 4: opportunities per game.
• 7:50
Speaker 2: It's just not usable. Kenneth Walker, he's.
• 7:54
Speaker 4: Still playing a little bit over Charbonay, but it's been
• 7:56
Speaker 4: so frustrating. And then Jordan Mason, like I know, he
• 7:59
Speaker 4: scored a two touchdown. If you look at Jordan Mason's
• 8:01
Speaker 4: game log, they're all the same. He rushes between somewhere
• 8:04
Speaker 4: like forty and fifty five yards and if he doesn't
• 8:06
Speaker 4: get a touchdown, he scores like five Fantasy points.
• 8:09
Speaker 1: Man, that that one week of Jordans was kind of
• 8:12
Speaker 1: fun way back. He's a good runner, it's just not
• 8:15
Speaker 1: a good The situation is that.
• 8:16
Speaker 3: Part whole line though, the whole line for the Vikens
• 8:19
Speaker 3: is kind of bad too, so it's not like he has.
• 8:21
Speaker 2: Enough room to actually work.
• 8:23
Speaker 3: And like all the things we've seen with him with
• 8:26
Speaker 3: the forty Whiners, like I was expecting that coming, you know,
• 8:29
Speaker 3: from the forty Winers, to have Minnesota utilize him the
• 8:32
Speaker 3: same way, but just didn't.
• 8:34
Speaker 2: Just didn't work. Yeah, Harvey, look at r J.
• 8:40
Speaker 1: Harvey was a dude that the kuwan you were You've
• 8:42
Speaker 1: been taping for all season long.
• 8:44
Speaker 2: It took a while. And then look, but I'm not
• 8:46
Speaker 2: putting this on you. This is basically a Sean Payton thing.
• 8:49
Speaker 1: Sean Paynon, yes, wasn't giving him opportunities now because everybody
• 8:53
Speaker 1: else is just vanished.
• 8:55
  Speaker 4: R J.
• 8:56
Speaker 1: Harvey's getting his opportunity this week got the Packers, who, for.
• 8:59
Speaker 2: The most part seems to have been a good run defense,
• 9:01
Speaker 2: but not lately. How you feeling about RJ this week?
• 9:04
Speaker 2: I hope Sean Payton kind of switches it up.
• 9:06
Speaker 3: I hope he really utilizes him as the album Kamara
• 9:08
Speaker 3: like how Florio has said that he is the first
• 9:11
Speaker 3: running back we've seen get this type of usage. But
• 9:13
Speaker 3: look at the b roll right here. This is all
• 9:15
Speaker 3: I want to see all game. RJ Harvey needs to
• 9:17
Speaker 3: be utilized in the passing game. Get these Packers linebackers exhausted,
• 9:21
Speaker 3: get them running sideline a sideline. Because r J Harvey
• 9:24
Speaker 3: has proven he could be a weapon all over the field.
• 9:26
Speaker 3: We're seeing him catching the ball in the red zone. Like,
• 9:29
Speaker 3: I need more of the password from RJ Harvey this
• 9:31
Speaker 3: week so he can repeat these back to back weeks
• 9:33
Speaker 3: that he's put it up. RB one numbers twenty plus
• 9:36
Speaker 3: fantasy points, Like, I think this is where you can
• 9:38
Speaker 3: get it done. Because we've seen previous running backs in
• 9:41
Speaker 3: the pass against the Packers put a big points. Davonte Williams,
• 9:44
Speaker 3: Rico Daddle, even Tyrone Tracy with a solid outing out
• 9:48
Speaker 3: of that week in Week eleven. So I look at
• 9:50
Speaker 3: this as an opportunity where Sean Payton unleashes him in
• 9:53
Speaker 3: the passing game, so we can get some solid fantasy
• 9:55
  Speaker 3: points this week.
• 9:56
Speaker 1: That's been the nice thing is that he has had
• 9:58
Speaker 1: a decent target shar and target volume over the last
• 10:01
Speaker 1: few weeks, because I mean, look, if we're being honest,
• 10:04
Speaker 1: he has not been the most efficient runner necessarily obviously
• 10:08
Speaker 1: had the seventy five yards last week, that was great.
• 10:10
Speaker 1: He's been able to find the end zones a few
• 10:12
Speaker 1: times the last couple of weeks. That has sort of
• 10:13
Speaker 1: been nice, but the rushing numbers on the ground haven't
• 10:16
Speaker 1: been great. Hopefully this is a week that that starts
• 10:18
Speaker 1: to change. But either way, we do have the targets
• 10:21
Speaker 1: to kind of fall back on, and that is a
• 10:23
Speaker 1: really good thing, I think for RJ Harvey and fantasy
• 10:26
Speaker 1: managers who are starting RJ Harvey at this point.
• 10:29
Speaker 2: All right, we are just getting started.
• 10:31
Speaker 1: Of course, we'll have more starts and since coming up
• 10:33
Speaker 1: later on in the show, we'll get into the wide
• 10:35
Speaker 1: receivers and the tight ends a little bit later, also
• 10:38
Speaker 1: have some game previews as we look at Sunday Night
• 10:41
Speaker 1: and Monday Night football. But first a quick break. Will
• 10:43
Speaker 1: come back with more coming up on the NFL Fantasy
• 10:45
Speaker 1: Football Show taking a look at the Sunday night football
• 10:52
Speaker 1: game the Minnesota Vikings heading down to Arlington to take
• 10:54
Speaker 1: on the Dallas Cowboys, and these are the first touchdown
• 10:58
Speaker 1: odds for that game. Javonte Williams, who we have really
• 11:02
Speaker 1: feel like we haven't really talked.
• 11:03
Speaker 2: About him a whole lot. In guy man, I got
• 11:07
Speaker 2: to get back on board. We'll talk about him just
• 11:09
  Speaker 2: a little bit.
• 11:09
Speaker 1: But George Pickens right behind him, followed by Jake ferguson side.
• 11:13
Speaker 1: Note to this, as of this recording, Ceedee Lam's still
• 11:17
Speaker 1: in concussion protocols. We're still waiting to see what the
• 11:19
Speaker 1: updates are on him. Aaron Jones Sr. And then Justin Jefferson,
• 11:23
Speaker 1: which tells you a lot about how the season's going
• 11:25
Speaker 1: for Justin Jefferson that he's number five of five on
• 11:30
  Speaker 1: this list.
• 11:31
Speaker 2: Befooria, if you are picking.
• 11:32
Speaker 1: Somebody here, is it somebody on that list or somebody
• 11:35
  Speaker 1: maybe off board?
• 11:36
Speaker 2: No, it's on the list.
• 11:37
Speaker 4: My heart wants to say Justin Jefferson, But I don't
• 11:39
Speaker 4: think he is the first one, right Like, I think they're.
• 11:41
Speaker 2: In ketchup mode when it happens. So I think George
• 11:44
Speaker 2: Pickens is where I'm going.
• 11:45
Speaker 4: Coming off of that hugely disappointing game last TNF. He
• 11:50
Speaker 4: got into it with Richard Sherman after he is their
• 11:53
Speaker 4: go to guy in the red and end zone anyway,
• 11:57
Speaker 4: And I think with everything that transpired last week, I
• 12:00
Speaker 4: think they're, you know, teams as much as they say
• 12:02
Speaker 4: they don't listen outside noise and stuff, I think with
• 12:05
Speaker 4: something like what happened to they want to get.
• 12:08
Speaker 2: Him right and get him going early.
• 12:09
Speaker 1: Oh absolutely, teams du like there's no way social media
• 12:12
Speaker 1: report everything's out there. It's like so hard to avoid,
• 12:15
Speaker 1: like everybody does Laque of those guys Javonte Pickens, Ferguson Jones, Jefferson,
• 12:20
Speaker 1: of those guys you like to score the first touchdown.
• 12:23
Speaker 3: I mean, the way the season has been going, like
• 12:24
Speaker 3: we've seen Tony Pollard last week, just go completely bonkers.
• 12:27
Speaker 3: I'm gonna say it's Aaron Jones. It's gonna be the
• 12:29
Speaker 3: least likely guy that you were probably looking at on
• 12:31
Speaker 3: this list where you know, I gotta stick with my
• 12:33
Speaker 3: joneses man, So I'm gonna go Aaron Jones SR. I
• 12:36
Speaker 3: was gonna say if his name was Aaron Smith or no, no,
• 12:39
Speaker 3: I probably wouldn't even noticed him on that board. To
• 12:41
Speaker 3: be honest, I'm gonna, I'm gonna. I'm gonna throw out
• 12:45
Speaker 3: another wrench in this one. What about Jake Ferguson, What
• 12:47
Speaker 3: about the ferg Daddy?
• 12:48
Speaker 1: They get down close little bootleg action, they're the goal
• 12:51
Speaker 1: line and when I.
• 12:53
Speaker 2: Hit forerg you are we are.
• 12:54
Speaker 3: We gonna play the visionary again where I predict how
• 12:57
Speaker 3: Jake Ferguson gets in tden zone. I will It will
• 12:59
Speaker 3: be probably a third and goal and then we're gonna
• 13:02
Speaker 3: look at dag back up, look to his left to
• 13:04
Speaker 3: see Pickens, look at Ryan Florinard because I think CD
• 13:07
Speaker 3: is not gonna play and he's gonna dump.
• 13:09
Speaker 2: It right down in the middle of the field to
• 13:10
Speaker 2: Jake Ferguson for a.
• 13:11
Speaker 1: Touchdown, to fer Delicious for the touchdown there. Huh yeah,
• 13:15
  Speaker 1: you don't know.
• 13:15
Speaker 2: In fact, the quan has the script. He got to
• 13:19
Speaker 2: have it. They have it on Good Morning Football.
• 13:21
Speaker 1: He got the script and he's just let you know
• 13:23
Speaker 1: how things work there.
• 13:26
Speaker 2: Probably because I've been hanging with Seth man Less.
• 13:29
Speaker 1: That's why Less the the guys in the black unmarked
• 13:33
Speaker 1: vans come and take me away.
• 13:34
Speaker 2: I'm joking totally joke.
• 13:37
Speaker 1: Anyways, get a little further into into Sunday Night Football,
• 13:42
Speaker 1: uh flor you we saw Justin Jefferson on this list.
• 13:44
Speaker 1: We know what kind of season it has been for him.
• 13:47
Speaker 2: The Cowboys, despite being improved, they are still giving up
• 13:49
Speaker 2: yards to wide receivers.
• 13:50
Speaker 1: Would you dare? Certainly DNFs, But even in like a
• 13:55
Speaker 1: redraft league, start Jordan Addison this week?
• 13:58
  Speaker 2: So I I for a different play. I write up
• 14:01
Speaker 2: like deep plays, and he was one of the ones
• 14:03
Speaker 2: I wrote up. But that understand that it is.
• 14:07
  Speaker 4: It's like if you're desperate, or if you're in a
• 14:09
Speaker 4: fourteen team league or something like that, I have conviction
• 14:14
Speaker 4: and being like, I will trust Justin Jefferson in a
• 14:16
Speaker 4: favorable matchup because he's Justin Jefferson. But Jordan Addison, he
• 14:21
Speaker 4: has been getting volume. I'm not gonna say he's not,
• 14:23
Speaker 4: but he is not that same caliber of player. So yeah,
• 14:27
Speaker 4: he's not someone that I'm like forcing into lineups.
• 14:30
  Speaker 2: But maybe you're you're a.
• 14:31
Speaker 4: Little banged up with injuries, or you're in a really
• 14:33
Speaker 4: deep league something like that.
• 14:35
Speaker 2: To me, that is where Jordan Addison slides in.
• 14:37
Speaker 1: All right, So Addison maybe in the right situation gets
• 14:41
Speaker 1: a look from folks. We talked about Javonte Williams just
• 14:44
Speaker 1: touched on him briefly there with the touchdown odds.
• 14:49
Speaker 2: Has Deefonte Williams become matchup proof?
• 14:51
  Speaker 1: I know it's like, I know it's weird to be
• 14:53
Speaker 1: asked this question in week fifteen, like seasons almost over.
• 14:56
Speaker 2: But has he become matchup proof this year? Yeah?
• 15:00
Speaker 3: I mean, honestly, when we look at some of the
• 15:01
Speaker 3: games where we shouldn't be starting him, I mean the
• 15:04
Speaker 3: Chiefs game, he puts up RB one numbers, the Denver game,
• 15:06
Speaker 3: he puts up RB one numbers, And I'm looking at
• 15:08
Speaker 3: this game like, why wouldn't he put up RB one numbers?
• 15:11
Speaker 3: And he's attached to a top five scoring offense. The
• 15:14
Speaker 3: Cowboys were in offense this whole offseason that we were
• 15:16
Speaker 3: talking up of, like they have the weapons now which
• 15:19
Speaker 3: puts them in scoring opportunities. They look at Javante every
• 15:22
Speaker 3: time they get in striking distance. So I do feel
• 15:24
Speaker 3: like this game they're going to be in striking distance
• 15:26
Speaker 3: more and often than not. So I could see him
• 15:28
Speaker 3: coming in and putting up RB one numbers. And also
• 15:31
Speaker 3: he's getting involved in the passing game. As you can
• 15:33
Speaker 3: see on the b roll that is one of those
• 15:35
Speaker 3: things that he was doing in Denver as well. But
• 15:38
Speaker 3: he is still doing it now at a more efficient rate.
• 15:40
Speaker 3: So yeah, Javonte Williams next season is going to be
• 15:42
Speaker 3: interesting conversation where he goes in drafts.
• 15:44
Speaker 2: Yeah, he really is.
• 15:45
Speaker 1: I mean, I feel my early prediction is probably a
• 15:48
Speaker 1: late second, early third for Javonte.
• 15:51
Speaker 2: But yeah, it feels good.
• 15:52
Speaker 3: Unless people, you know, some people are still sleeping and
• 15:55
Speaker 3: not believe. And I look at it like, hey, that's
• 15:57
Speaker 3: a solid place to put him in ADP. I would
• 15:59
  Speaker 3: take them there.
• 16:00
  Speaker 2: I'm glad.
• 16:00
Speaker 1: I'm glad I can get back in on it because
• 16:02
Speaker 1: I was ready to kind of give up, but not
• 16:04
Speaker 1: because of Javonte, just because of the situations he was in.
• 16:06
Speaker 1: It just didn't seem particularly good for him. So nice
• 16:09
Speaker 1: to see him coming back into our fantasy lives for sure.
• 16:11
Speaker 2: There you go. We keep going on our Week fifteen previews.
• 16:15
Speaker 1: Monday Night Football, The Dolphins at the Steelers, Miami kind
• 16:20
Speaker 1: of running hot, the Steelers coming off of big win
• 16:22
Speaker 1: ins Baltimore and very much in the cat birds seat
• 16:25
Speaker 1: to win the AFC North. You can see that game
• 16:27
Speaker 1: Monday at fifteen pm Eastern on the Four Letter Network.
• 16:32
Speaker 1: Question to you, Lakwan Jones, is Tuwatumdabaioloa a startable quarterback
• 16:38
  Speaker 1: option this week?
• 16:40
  Speaker 2: Absolutely not.
• 16:42
Speaker 3: I mean have you seen his game log in the
• 16:44
Speaker 3: last couple of weeks. And again, I'm not going to
• 16:46
Speaker 3: spend my Birthday weekend losing sleep at night with two
• 16:49
Speaker 3: being the last resort if I know, if I go
• 16:51
Speaker 3: to the next round into the playoffs, I'm looking at
• 16:53
Speaker 3: this like, no, I'm looking for better options, Like I'm
• 16:56
Speaker 3: even looking at Bryce Young maybe as a pivot option.
• 16:59
Speaker 3: I would see William Trevor mid Lawrence is an option
• 17:02
Speaker 3: that I've said this week in replacing the quarterbacks, we
• 17:05
Speaker 3: cannot trust. Tua has not been great, man, It's been sorry.
• 17:08
Speaker 3: And and even with the matchup that we look at
• 17:11
Speaker 3: the Steelers defense where you can get up on this secondary,
• 17:13
Speaker 3: I'm not gonna trust this, especially when Davon h Chen
• 17:16
Speaker 3: banged up, so a lot is going to be on
• 17:17
Speaker 3: Tua's back where I'm like, nah, bro, you have been terrible.
• 17:22
Speaker 3: You have been unrosterble in these last couple of weeks.
• 17:25
Speaker 2: Man, It's weird that the vibes are better in Miami.
• 17:28
Speaker 2: And a two QB league. This week I have to
• 17:30
Speaker 2: decide Tua or Caleb. Yeah, not fun.
• 17:37
Speaker 4: I Mariota is my QB one, Like I lost Jayden,
• 17:43
  Speaker 4: it's been a bad year.
• 17:43
Speaker 1: I probably go with Caleb because I would rather if
• 17:46
Speaker 1: it's gonna be bad, I want to rip that band
• 17:47
Speaker 1: aid off on Sunday, Like I don't want to die
• 17:49
Speaker 1: a slow painful death on Monday night.
• 17:51
Speaker 2: I'm the exact opposite, because I'm like, hey, if.
• 17:54
Speaker 4: I'm gonna go down, I want to go I want
• 17:55
Speaker 4: to still at least have a chance night.
• 17:58
Speaker 1: You know, slow painful deaths is watching yourself watching your
• 18:01
Speaker 1: team just bleed out on the floor, as to a
• 18:04
Speaker 1: struggles to throw three yard passes.
• 18:06
Speaker 3: Like Flora, You're gonna go to bed angry Sunday if
• 18:10
Speaker 3: your team doesn't put up enough points and then you're
• 18:12
Speaker 3: looking at Monday like.
• 18:13
Speaker 2: All right too, you got to bring it home. That
• 18:15
  Speaker 2: is so stressful.
• 18:16
Speaker 4: So you know, I said I had eight teams of
• 18:18
Speaker 4: the this is one that it's again.
• 18:20
Speaker 2: It's a two QB league and my qbs are awful.
• 18:22
Speaker 4: I look at it and I'm like, yeah, I'm not
• 18:24
Speaker 4: winning this league, so I'm hopeful.
• 18:27
Speaker 2: My skill position. Guys are really good, but they got
• 18:30
Speaker 2: to carry me. Man.
• 18:31
Speaker 1: We will find out for sure, but that is an
• 18:33
Speaker 1: awful dilemma to have to have. On the other side,
• 18:36
Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers looked really good against the Ravens last week.
• 18:39
Speaker 1: I posted on Blue Sky that it looked like twenty
• 18:42
Speaker 1: sixteen Aaron Rodgers again, right. He was moving around in
• 18:45
Speaker 1: the pocket, he ran for a touchdown, he did the
• 18:47
Speaker 1: discount double check. Even it looked like the old Aaron Rodgers.
• 18:51
Speaker 1: What should we expect for him this week against the Dolphins.
• 18:56
Speaker 4: I think he goes back to what he always has been,
• 19:00
Speaker 4: least with the Steelers, which is a floor play, right,
• 19:02
Speaker 4: Like last week was his season high in passing yards.
• 19:06
Speaker 4: Before that, he hadn't thrown for two point fifty in
• 19:09
Speaker 4: a game this year. He hasn't thrown for multiple passing
• 19:13
Speaker 4: touchdowns since Week eight against the Packers, which was hate inspired.
• 19:18
Speaker 4: And yeah, the rushing touchdown was awesome last week, but
• 19:21
Speaker 4: you can't like that was his first one of the year,
• 19:24
Speaker 4: and I think his first one in over a calendar year.
• 19:26
Speaker 2: Like, you can't bank on that. So Aaron Rodgers.
• 19:30
Speaker 4: Is only to me in play in two QB leagues
• 19:33
Speaker 4: and even that, like you look at last week was fun,
• 19:36
Speaker 4: but before that he had three points a week before that,
• 19:39
Speaker 4: and he had less than ten in three games before that.
• 19:42
Speaker 2: So I'm not trusting him in the Fantasy playoffs. I know.
• 19:44
Speaker 1: Earlier in the week on Fantasy Live, Patrick Claiband said,
• 19:47
Speaker 1: the Rogers Revolution is a one week thing, and it
• 19:50
Speaker 1: sounds like you're sort of doubling down on that as well.
• 19:53
Speaker 4: Look, we keep talking about these deeper QB twos. I
• 19:56
Speaker 4: would take a shot on JJ over Aaron Rodgers this week?
• 20:00
Speaker 4: What is all with you with JJ? Man? Absolutely not?
• 20:05
Speaker 2: Noh yeah. When I'm diving this deep, I'm looking at
• 20:09
Speaker 2: the matchup and that's it, you know you? So you
• 20:12
Speaker 2: play Aaron Rodgers over JJ McCarthy this week? Yes, I would.
• 20:16
Speaker 3: I would confidently, Yes, I'm not playing JJ because look,
• 20:19
Speaker 3: we look at JJ with the matchup, right, we know
• 20:23
Speaker 3: the Cowboys defense is bad at the past, but how
• 20:26
Speaker 3: bad is JJ? So we're comparing bad and bad, and
• 20:29
Speaker 3: I think JJ is worse than the Cowboys defense. But
• 20:32
Speaker 3: I'm sure we can get into this later.
• 20:36
Speaker 4: Aaron Rodgers failed to score three Fantasy points two weeks ago.
• 20:39
  Speaker 2: Three.
• 20:41
  Speaker 3: I know, I know, I know, I'm going with the
• 20:44
Speaker 3: better talent in this one, regardless of the matchup. I'm
• 20:48
Speaker 3: going with Aaron Rodgers.
• 20:51
Speaker 2: The talent is old. Yeah, you look at me as old.
• 20:53
Speaker 4: Three straight games and single digit fantasy points for the
• 20:56
Speaker 4: Earth the just who old to be on my fantasy.
• 21:01
Speaker 2: Roster since Week nine. Last week is the only week
• 21:03
Speaker 2: he's scored more than fifteen points. We shall not.
• 21:07
Speaker 1: I mean in the end, that's probably both score Like
• 21:10
Speaker 1: na Man, JJ's throwing three touchdowns.
• 21:12
Speaker 2: This week were like twelve points.
• 21:14
Speaker 1: And it's gonna be Riley Leonard. He may not even
• 21:21
Speaker 1: play this week. We'll say Riley Leonard, chill out, get
• 21:25
Speaker 1: back to the starts. And since looking at the wide
• 21:28
Speaker 1: receiver position Florida, who do you like?
• 21:30
Speaker 2: Who do you not like? This week?
• 21:32
Speaker 4: Jalen Waddle I think is a must start this week.
• 21:35
Speaker 4: He's like the one consistent thing in the Dolphins passing attack,
• 21:38
Speaker 4: and the Steelers have struggled against receivers. Terry McLaurin has
• 21:42
Speaker 4: a lot of history of success against this matchup. It
• 21:44
Speaker 4: had fourteen targets with Mariota and then the Giants struggle
• 21:48
  Speaker 4: against receivers.
• 21:49
  Speaker 2: Wandell that's lq's boy.
• 21:51
Speaker 4: He's been getting so much volume, and it's a really
• 21:53
Speaker 4: good matchup for him as well. And then I feel
• 21:56
Speaker 4: like we're going to talk about Justin Jefferson a little
• 21:58
Speaker 4: bit more, and then my sis, Michael Wilson. I wanted
• 22:01
Speaker 4: to avoid that matchup by all. Like I've played fantasy
• 22:05
Speaker 4: a lot, We've seen great stories come crumbling down when
• 22:08
Speaker 4: they have matchups like this. I think you get rid
• 22:10
Speaker 4: of the Colts wide receivers this week, it's going to
• 22:12
Speaker 4: be Philip Rivers' best case scenario, and the Seahawks are
• 22:16
Speaker 4: elite against receivers. I'm not going to get rid of
• 22:18
Speaker 4: the away from the Bears wide receivers and that terrible
• 22:21
Speaker 4: weather game against a tough Browns defense.
• 22:23
Speaker 2: And then Xavierworthy, like I know he had his best
• 22:26
Speaker 2: game in a while last week.
• 22:28
Speaker 4: That feels very circumstantial because they couldn't get Rashid Rice going.
• 22:31
Speaker 4: I'm not The Chargers' secondary, I think is highly underrated,
• 22:34
Speaker 4: and now it's getting more talking point because of Monday.
• 22:37
Speaker 4: But still they've been great all year.
• 22:38
Speaker 2: Yeah, they have a really good this year.
• 22:40
Speaker 1: I mean having a guy like Derwin James just sort
• 22:43
Speaker 1: of patrolling the area also is going to make your
• 22:45
Speaker 1: secondary a whole lot better. Let's look at Wanda Robinson.
• 22:49
Speaker 1: I'm saying, like if I was pitching, Yeah, like wand Delay.
• 22:51
Speaker 1: You know that's what I say. I mentioned earlier, the
• 22:55
Speaker 1: Giants and Commanders. They both have bad defenses. I think
• 22:58
  Speaker 1: there's a situation where they're good. Weirdly be a lot
• 23:00
Speaker 1: of points scores because these defenses are bad. Talk to
• 23:04
Speaker 1: me about Wanda Robinson, who really is having a very
• 23:06
  Speaker 1: good fantasy season.
• 23:08
Speaker 3: Yes, the volume is there, Like I want to have
• 23:11
Speaker 3: fantasy managers really get their expectations in order because I
• 23:14
Speaker 3: am a little worried about Wanda Robinson's a dot Now
• 23:17
Speaker 3: I'm looking at his a dot, which means basically how
• 23:19
Speaker 3: he's being targeted down for the depth of his targets.
• 23:22
Speaker 3: But we know that he's a yat guy. I feel
• 23:24
Speaker 3: like with Jackson Dark, we're not seeing the full capability
• 23:27
Speaker 3: of Wandell Robinson. So I'm not looking at Wanda as
• 23:30
Speaker 3: a wide receiver two or obviously not a wide receiver one.
• 23:33
Speaker 3: He is a flex play this week. Just make sure
• 23:35
Speaker 3: your other wide receivers are lock solid. So I wouldn't
• 23:38
Speaker 3: be starting him over at chrys Olave because I think
• 23:40
Speaker 3: the ceiling may be a little bit higher at Tetraro
• 23:42
Speaker 3: McMillan in a difficult matchup. I look at this is
• 23:45
Speaker 3: where Wandell Robinson's a piece that gives you that safe
• 23:47
Speaker 3: floor just based on the voume. So folks do not
• 23:50
Speaker 3: go out there expecting he's going to be putting up
• 23:52
Speaker 3: what he was doing with Jameis Winston and Russell Wilson.
• 23:54
Speaker 3: So I just want folks to have that expectation clear
• 23:58
Speaker 3: when they're making these roster decisions.
• 23:59
  Speaker 2: This week.
• 24:00
Speaker 1: Oh so I do the segment on NFL Fantasy Live
• 24:04
Speaker 1: called Slots of Fun where I talk about guys who
• 24:06
Speaker 1: prolay primarily in the slot and kind of project my projection.
• 24:11
Speaker 1: Now admittedly, like you know, some of this is entertainment purposes.
• 24:14
Speaker 1: Only eight catches eighty one yards for wan Dale this week.
• 24:18
  Speaker 2: I like it. Oh. I like that. It's a sixteen
• 24:22
Speaker 2: point game, sixteen point ye and if somehow he finds
• 24:24
Speaker 2: the end zone, he finds the en zone, it's a
• 24:26
Speaker 2: huge game out of Wandale Robins and he can do it.
• 24:28
Speaker 2: He can do it. He can do it against Washington
• 24:31
  Speaker 2: for sure.
• 24:32
Speaker 1: Moving over to the tight end position, as I find
• 24:37
Speaker 1: my place in the rundown again, who are your starts
• 24:40
Speaker 1: and sits at tight end?
• 24:41
  Speaker 2: Floria.
• 24:42
Speaker 4: I still think Tyler Warren is the only Colt I
• 24:44
Speaker 4: would start outside of Jonathan Taylor with confidence this week
• 24:47
Speaker 4: because it's a really good matchup for him, and I
• 24:49
Speaker 4: think the quarterback is going to rely heavily on the
• 24:51
Speaker 4: tight end. Donkin kid back at practice this week. We
• 24:55
Speaker 4: saw last week it was Dawson Knox get more production.
• 24:58
Speaker 4: I think we see Kinkaid take a step forward usage
• 25:00
Speaker 4: wise this week in a good matchup. I like Isaiah
• 25:03
Speaker 4: likely more than Mark Andrews, but I think both are
• 25:06
Speaker 4: in play this week. We saw last week two tight
• 25:08
Speaker 4: ends can very much eat. We saw the week before
• 25:10
Speaker 4: that two tight ends could very much eat again, and
• 25:12
Speaker 4: now those two were the Ravens two weeks ago against
• 25:15
Speaker 4: the Bengals, so I like both of them. Dallas Goddard,
• 25:18
Speaker 4: I know he had a big game last week. Seems
• 25:20
Speaker 4: like a kind of matchup driven because the Chargers are
• 25:23
Speaker 4: so good against wide receivers. The Raiders, on the other hand.
• 25:26
Speaker 4: Third few was yards of tight ends, the season fewest
• 25:28
Speaker 4: since we ten Hunter Henry. The Bills have been the
• 25:31
Speaker 4: toughest matchup for tight ends this season. Evan Ingram is
• 25:35
Speaker 4: just a name at this point, and Mikeaseki, I know
• 25:37
Speaker 4: he's coming off his biggest game of the year, but
• 25:39
Speaker 4: I wouldn't chase the points because that game equates to
• 25:42
Speaker 4: like seven of his other games from this.
• 25:45
Speaker 1: So the Dallas Goddard thing is interesting because I looked
• 25:47
Speaker 1: at him and I have him as a beware this week, right, Yeah,
• 25:51
Speaker 1: because you mentioned that the Raiders don't give up a
• 25:54
Speaker 1: lot of yards to tight ends, and I kind of
• 25:56
Speaker 1: dug into that a little bit, and what I realize
• 25:59
Speaker 1: is they don't give a lot of the tight end
• 26:00
Speaker 1: because people don't throw to the tight end against them,
• 26:03
Speaker 1: because I think what happens is you can run the
• 26:05
Speaker 1: ball so effectively and you can your wide receivers you're
• 26:08
Speaker 1: so wide open. It's just like offenses don't You're like,
• 26:10
Speaker 1: oh yeah, we don't even have to get to the
• 26:11
Speaker 1: tight end because like our wide receivers are just galloping
• 26:14
Speaker 1: through their secondary Untie, do you hear that?
• 26:17
Speaker 2: AJ hold on to the ball this week? Please hold on?
• 26:20
Speaker 1: So yeah, So I say beware of Dallas Goddard not
• 26:23
Speaker 1: because I think the Raiders are gonna clamp down on him,
• 26:25
Speaker 1: but just because I think Jalen Hurts is going to
• 26:27
Speaker 1: have his pick of like Saquon and aj and DeVonta
• 26:30
Speaker 1: and like, oh hey, we haven't really gotten to Dallas
• 26:33
Speaker 1: Goddard because of them at this point.
• 26:36
Speaker 2: Okay, you want to ask you though about Tyler Warren.
• 26:38
  Speaker 5: Uh.
• 26:39
Speaker 1: We have talked a lot about Philip Rivers because it
• 26:42
Speaker 1: is very possible that he starts this week. Do you
• 26:46
Speaker 1: still trust Tyler Warren or maybe it's he the only
• 26:48
Speaker 1: guy you can trust with Philip Rivers at quarterback, Yes,
• 26:51
Speaker 1: just based off the matchup.
• 26:52
Speaker 3: This has been a weak point for the Seahawks' defense
• 26:55
Speaker 3: all season long against the tight end position. Allow on
• 26:57
Speaker 3: the second most catches, second most catches and fans points
• 27:00
Speaker 3: to the position. So I look at Tyler Warren where
• 27:02
Speaker 3: he gives us back that tight end one performance that
• 27:05
Speaker 3: we have been missing these last couple of weeks, and
• 27:07
Speaker 3: I think, if it's Rivers, if it's Riley Leonard who
• 27:10
Speaker 3: had a full practice on Wednesday, I'm saying this now,
• 27:13
Speaker 3: it doesn't matter who's there at the quarterback position. I
• 27:16
Speaker 3: don't think it's a bold take to think that we
• 27:18
Speaker 3: can get number one this week for the fantasy playoffs.
• 27:21
Speaker 3: In Week fifteen, tight end one, Tyler Warren.
• 27:25
Speaker 2: It's Tyler Warren still in play.
• 27:26
Speaker 1: I do feel like that's kind of the consensus that
• 27:28
Speaker 1: if there's anybody they can trust, it's Tyler Warren one
• 27:31
Speaker 1: because of who the quarterback might be, whoever it is,
• 27:33
Speaker 1: and also because the matchup. Because Seattle's done a good
• 27:36
Speaker 1: job of shutting down pretty much everything else. They have
• 27:38
Speaker 1: not done a good job of shutting down tight end.
• 27:41
Speaker 1: So if you've got Tyler Warren, maybe you can breathe
• 27:43
Speaker 1: the least a little bit easier. Also, as we've said
• 27:45
Speaker 1: repeatedly on this show, the bar for success at the
• 27:48
Speaker 1: tight end position a lot lower than it is at
• 27:51
Speaker 1: a lot of other ten points, that's all we want.
• 27:54
Speaker 1: Ten points can make you a tight end one. That's
• 27:55
Speaker 1: all you really need.
• 27:57
Speaker 2: Time for a break.
• 27:57
Speaker 1: But when we come back, we're putting Justin Jefferson in
• 28:00
Speaker 1: the Starto Meter. We'll give you our bold predictions for
• 28:02
Speaker 1: week fifteen, and we'll catch.
• 28:04
Speaker 2: Up with our friend cam Wolf. All Right, we did
• 28:11
Speaker 2: the Starto meter earlier in the week.
• 28:13
Speaker 1: We did it with quarterbacks, but the man who actually
• 28:16
Speaker 1: I think started this whole conversation was Justin Jefferson. So
• 28:20
Speaker 1: we had to of course, but jj in the starto meter,
• 28:24
Speaker 1: And so I listed some other wide receivers here, and
• 28:28
Speaker 1: you guys can tell me, and I'll start with you.
• 28:30
Speaker 1: Floria and Lakwan, you can jump in whether you're starting
• 28:33
Speaker 1: Jefferson or these other.
• 28:34
Speaker 2: Guys that I'm mentioning here.
• 28:36
Speaker 1: So first, do you start justin Jefferson against the Cowboys
• 28:41
Speaker 1: or Deebo Samuel against the Giants.
• 28:43
Speaker 2: It's not even a question to me. I'm going justin.
• 28:45
Speaker 3: Jefferson, Deebo Samuel, Diebo Samuel. You might be Jefferson, Floria
• 28:51
Speaker 3: might be Jefferson, all of these, and then Lakwan's gonna be.
• 28:53
Speaker 2: The other guy on all of these.
• 28:55
Speaker 3: So let's have the conversation then, because that's exactly what
• 28:58
  Speaker 3: I'm doing.
• 28:59
Speaker 1: Well, but we got to we gotta go through all this,
• 29:01
Speaker 1: you know, because there is one name, and there's one
• 29:04
Speaker 1: name in here that I think you're gonna be sort
• 29:05
Speaker 1: of twisted over Laquant just based on your past history
• 29:08
Speaker 1: on this show. We'll keep going down the list, all right,
• 29:11
Speaker 1: So Florio, Jefferson or Troy Franklin against the Packers.
• 29:15
Speaker 4: I mean it's Jefferson. He said he would drop Troy
• 29:18
  Speaker 4: Franklin on Monday.
• 29:20
Speaker 2: All right, So Jefferson or Troy Franklin. Thanks for Lorio.
• 29:25
Speaker 3: Some people didn't watch one show, but okay, yes, Justin Jefferson.
• 29:30
Speaker 2: All right, Justin Jefferson or Michael Wilson.
• 29:33
Speaker 3: I'm going Justin Jefferson there because of matchup, all right,
• 29:36
Speaker 3: all right, Michael Wilson, Michael Wilson against the Texans.
• 29:41
Speaker 1: I should throw on mind, I'm gonna I go Jefferson
• 29:43
Speaker 1: over Deebo. I would probably go Jefferson over Franklin. I
• 29:50
Speaker 1: probably go Jefferson over Wilson too, but that one's close
• 29:52
Speaker 1: for me. That one's close. I think I go Jefferson
• 29:55
Speaker 1: over Wilson. But it's close, all right, Laurio, Jefferson or
• 29:59
Speaker 1: Stefan Diggs against the Bills, which, by the way, it
• 30:02
Speaker 1: sounds weird to say Stephan Diggs against the Bills.
• 30:03
Speaker 2: Yeah, it does. It depends on Christian Benford. He was
• 30:06
Speaker 2: in a walking boot.
• 30:07
Speaker 4: On Thursday, but every report so far is saying that
• 30:10
Speaker 4: it's just precautionary and like he was looking good at practice.
• 30:13
Speaker 4: We'll see if he sits, I will go digs. If
• 30:16
Speaker 4: he plays, I'm going Jefferson, all right, Uh Higgs digs?
• 30:20
Speaker 3: He lit him up last time, Diggs, And if a
• 30:22
Speaker 3: Benford ain't gonna be out there, he gonna do it again.
• 30:25
Speaker 3: Because it's motivated by hate.
• 30:27
  Speaker 1: I think it's I think it's Steph Diggs this week,
• 30:29
Speaker 1: over over Jefferson. For me, this is the one where
• 30:32
Speaker 1: I think Lakwan's gonna maybe, you know, have a little
• 30:35
Speaker 1: bit of a headache here, uh, Forrio Jefferson or Ladd
• 30:39
Speaker 1: Mconkey against the Chiefs.
• 30:40
Speaker 2: I'm actually gonna go Justin Jefferson. Oh okay, all right,
• 30:45
Speaker 2: laqu I know how you feel about Ladd. I know
• 30:47
Speaker 2: you are not a lad. You're not one of Ladd's lads.
• 30:51
Speaker 2: How are you? Is it jeff or is it Lad?
• 30:55
Speaker 2: Can that pass? You have to make a decision. Come on, Jefferson, volume.
• 31:08
Speaker 3: Give me Lad. I'm gonna go Laddle. I'm gonna go
• 31:11
Speaker 3: Lad over Justin Jefferson this week.
• 31:13
Speaker 2: Listen. This is tough because we saw what happened.
• 31:16
Speaker 3: With Justin Herbert with that left hand right, low pass volume,
• 31:19
Speaker 3: low opportunities for all these pass catchers to go out
• 31:21
Speaker 3: there and put up flex numbers or even wide receiver
• 31:24
Speaker 3: two numbers. I'm still going Lad. I'm going Lid because
• 31:27
Speaker 3: I can't put the trust in the hands and a
• 31:29
Speaker 3: young quarterback that has not shown us anything that he
• 31:32
Speaker 3: can bring Justin Jefferson remotely to even be trusted in
• 31:35
Speaker 3: a flex position. So I'm going lad this week.
• 31:37
Speaker 1: Jefferson does have some double digit fantasy games with JJ McCarthy.
• 31:41
Speaker 3: Oh my god, how long ago was that? He has
• 31:43
Speaker 3: one touchdown since week too? No, I need touchdowns, I
• 31:46
Speaker 3: need fantasy points now.
• 31:47
Speaker 2: The other thing, though.
• 31:49
Speaker 4: Is like, I get it, the last two games have
• 31:51
Speaker 4: been really bad, but we get like two games is a.
• 31:56
  Speaker 2: Microscopic sample size.
• 31:57
Speaker 4: We have five and a half years of being like
• 32:01
Speaker 4: Justin Jefferson is maybe the most talented wide receiver walking
• 32:04
Speaker 4: the planet in the best by far matchup a wide
• 32:08
  Speaker 4: receiver could.
• 32:09
Speaker 3: Have who was throwing him the ball? That's where the
• 32:12
Speaker 3: source of the problem is. My boy is not even
• 32:15
Speaker 3: getting the looks. That is the issue. The yards upside
• 32:18
Speaker 3: is not there, the touchdown upside nothing.
• 32:20
Speaker 4: Well last week last week, I think you have to
• 32:23
Speaker 4: throw out the window.
• 32:24
Speaker 2: They were up they won thirty one. Nothing like they
• 32:27
Speaker 2: threw twenty three times. They might be down.
• 32:29
Speaker 4: Thirty one nothing against Dallas in the first quarters. Like, no, no,
• 32:33
Speaker 4: But that's really one hundred percent. Something that needs to
• 32:36
Speaker 4: be factored in is they're going to have to throw
• 32:38
Speaker 4: maybe fifty times compared to twenty times last week.
• 32:41
Speaker 2: You know, like they're gonna be in ketchup mode the
• 32:43
Speaker 2: whole Jamison volume there for sure, I think that helps.
• 32:46
Speaker 1: All right, last one, Justin Jefferson or Jamison Williams against
• 32:50
  Speaker 1: the Rams.
• 32:51
Speaker 2: This is one where I would go, Jamison, all right,
• 32:55
  Speaker 2: we're a line. Let's go Florio.
• 32:57
Speaker 1: That's my boy. I figure you go Jamo in this one. Yeah, yeah,
• 33:01
Speaker 1: against the Rams. There's opportunities. There's opportunities in the secondary
• 33:05
Speaker 1: for explosive plays. Okay, that's all I'm gonna say. I'm
• 33:07
Speaker 1: not gonna pinpoint the dB or the secondary. That's gonna
• 33:10
Speaker 1: let it up. But there is opportunities for him to
• 33:12
Speaker 1: get off in this game, all right, Emmanuel Forbes, come
• 33:17
Speaker 1: on MG next? All right, Well, I'm just names on
• 33:20
  Speaker 1: the bullets.
• 33:20
  Speaker 2: I'm just I'm not asking.
• 33:24
Speaker 4: Maybe I'm just trying to think back at some receivers
• 33:27
Speaker 4: we have recommended against the Cowboys over over the course
• 33:30
Speaker 4: of this season, and like, come on, Justin Jefferson buils
• 33:35
Speaker 4: them all out of the water. Like I mean, you
• 33:38
Speaker 4: look at the like Wandell had his career game against them.
• 33:42
Speaker 4: Aj Brown had his biggest get right game at that
• 33:45
Speaker 4: time against them. Luther Burden had his breakout game against them.
• 33:49
Speaker 4: Marvel eight against them, Jamison like everyone who has played
• 33:52
Speaker 4: the Cowboys has eaten.
• 33:55
  Speaker 2: Dude.
• 33:56
  Speaker 1: I mean, look, I still say I think I take
• 33:58
Speaker 1: lad over Jefferson, but I definitely take Jamison Williams over
• 34:01
  Speaker 1: Justin Jefferson.
• 34:02
Speaker 2: So this was actually peaceful.
• 34:04
Speaker 3: I thought it was going to be a little bit
• 34:06
Speaker 3: more chaotic, but this was actually peaceful.
• 34:08
Speaker 2: When we do bold predictions, I'll tell you that I haven't.
• 34:12
Speaker 1: Heard I heard the last of Jeffer and Justice, which
• 34:16
  Speaker 1: actually seems perfect.
• 34:17
  Speaker 2: Then, so let's let's pivot. Let's pivot. You had a
• 34:20
  Speaker 2: glass of milk.
• 34:21
Speaker 1: We have some spicy takes for Week fifteen, so lakwan
• 34:24
  Speaker 1: start us off.
• 34:25
  Speaker 2: Let's get spicy.
• 34:27
Speaker 3: Listen, I'm going spicy with this one. Harrow Fannin Jr.
• 34:30
Speaker 3: Is going to put up a twenty five burger, and folks,
• 34:34
Speaker 3: if you don't know, now you know we are officially
• 34:36
Speaker 3: on Harrow Fannin Jr. Watch Because back in February, a
• 34:40
Speaker 3: random day that I decided to say if he finishes
• 34:43
Speaker 3: top five, I will dye my hair blonde again. I
• 34:47
Speaker 3: don't know why I keep doing this to myself, but
• 34:49
Speaker 3: he is currently doing this. He's currently top five. But
• 34:52
  Speaker 3: it's fine. It's working. I get the credibility as a
• 34:55
Speaker 3: tightened whisper of what the fancy streets are saying.
• 34:57
  Speaker 2: But it's fine.
• 34:58
Speaker 3: A twenty five burger for Harold Finn and in your
• 35:00
Speaker 3: this week interesting, We're.
• 35:03
Speaker 2: Going to see Lakwan's family this weekend. Oh about we'll
• 35:09
Speaker 2: ask the wife how that's the white and the kids.
• 35:12
Speaker 1: The kids are going to be like you know esus,
• 35:14
Speaker 1: blatantly honest about it too.
• 35:16
Speaker 2: If you do die you want, can you not tell
• 35:19
  Speaker 2: your kids?
• 35:20
Speaker 3: And then let's them show up when you pick them up,
• 35:23
Speaker 3: just be like surprise, surprise. Listen, it didn't go well
• 35:27
Speaker 3: last time and she does not know that I made
• 35:30
Speaker 3: this game well again hair on the tight end. So
• 35:34
Speaker 3: when you guys see her this weekend, this should be
• 35:36
  Speaker 3: an interesting reaction.
• 35:37
Speaker 2: That she does not know about. Right now wait, I
• 35:41
Speaker 2: cannot wait. Uh. In the meantime, Flora, what is your
• 35:44
Speaker 2: your hot take for the week?
• 35:45
Speaker 4: We are the old fan and show of record. Now
• 35:47
Speaker 4: the rest of the season it. Mine was going to
• 35:51
Speaker 4: be pretty much what yours is. Like last week, mine
• 35:54
Speaker 4: was a one hundred yards and a touchdown for Jefferson
• 35:56
Speaker 4: And this week my Bowl prediction like we send them out,
• 35:58
Speaker 4: they get tweeted out or whatever is Oh no wait,
• 36:01
Speaker 4: I meant this is the week.
• 36:02
Speaker 2: That he's gonna go for one hundred and a touchdown.
• 36:04
Speaker 4: But Travis etn best Fantasy game of the season, which
• 36:08
Speaker 4: is somewhere around like twenty three points. He hasn't had
• 36:11
Speaker 4: the biggest of blow up games, but he has just
• 36:14
Speaker 4: been reliable week in and week out. And like MG
• 36:18
Speaker 4: was saying, oh no wait, that was on a different show.
• 36:21
Speaker 4: The Jets run defense has been really bad since they
• 36:24
Speaker 4: traded Quinnin Williams. Travis Etn has been running really well
• 36:28
Speaker 4: as of late. I wouldn't be surprised if this is
• 36:31
Speaker 4: a not really most competitive game and it's one where
• 36:34
Speaker 4: the Jags just run the ball all day long.
• 36:36
Speaker 1: Yeah, we do so many shows together that they all
• 36:38
Speaker 1: kind of yeah at some point, No, I get it.
• 36:40
Speaker 1: I get that, you sort of get the hint of
• 36:43
Speaker 1: what my hot take is. My Bowl prediction is going
• 36:45
Speaker 1: to be based on what Florio said justin Jefferson will
• 36:49
Speaker 1: have his second twenty point game of the fantasy season,
• 36:52
Speaker 1: the first one wow that he has had since we
• 36:55
Speaker 1: back in Week four when Carson Wentz was actually quarterback
• 36:59
Speaker 1: in the Minnesota Vikings at the time. I just think
• 37:03
Speaker 1: they're really going to go out of their way to
• 37:05
Speaker 1: get him the ball, especially after the last two weeks.
• 37:08
Speaker 1: The dudes had a grand total of fifteen receiving yards
• 37:11
Speaker 1: in the last two games. That's got to change, and
• 37:14
Speaker 1: I think you're gonna see them making a concerted effort,
• 37:17
Speaker 1: whether it's wide receiver screens, whether it's quick slants, just
• 37:20
Speaker 1: something where McCarthy can get the ball out of his
• 37:23
Speaker 1: hands quickly and then get it to Jefferson and just
• 37:26
Speaker 1: let him sort of work. So I just look, man,
• 37:30
Speaker 1: I know this hasn't been the season the Vikings wanted
• 37:32
Speaker 1: it to be. But the way to sort of fix
• 37:33
Speaker 1: that is by getting your guy the ball as much
• 37:36
  Speaker 1: as possible.
• 37:37
Speaker 2: So I think we're going to see that happen this week,
• 37:38
  Speaker 2: and we're.
• 37:39
Speaker 1: Gonna see justin Jefferson, if somehow you survived, I was
• 37:42
Speaker 1: gonna say, I would love to know the percentage of
• 37:44
Speaker 1: playoff teams that have just have It's pretty small.
• 37:47
Speaker 3: Yes, that's why I want to know who was in
• 37:49
Speaker 3: the room with us that we were speaking to that
• 37:51
Speaker 3: actually made it this far to the fantasy playoffs in
• 37:55
Speaker 3: my home league, that Justin Jefferson manager made the playoffs.
• 37:58
Speaker 1: All right, there's gonna be somebody out there, because like
• 38:00
Speaker 1: you can draft well around that, you know, like you
• 38:03
Speaker 1: can hit. Got you Maybe you got a Javonte Williams,
• 38:05
Speaker 1: I hope your running back spot.
• 38:07
Speaker 2: Maybe you found a Mecca Buka who got you through
• 38:10
Speaker 2: the first few weeks. Like there's ways that it happened.
• 38:12
Speaker 2: So if you did that, I need to see the data.
• 38:14
Speaker 2: I need to see the numbers. I need to see
• 38:16
  Speaker 2: the person anything.
• 38:17
Speaker 4: Is Like I'm here battling for him. I have Justin
• 38:19
Speaker 4: Jefferson on no team, like I didn't draft.
• 38:21
Speaker 2: Him in a single team.
• 38:23
Speaker 3: I was about to say, you sound like you're heavily
• 38:25
Speaker 3: invested in this raiment, like I am not invested in.
• 38:28
Speaker 4: I am invested now because I'm invested in our reviewers
• 38:32
Speaker 4: and listeners fantasy teams that have Justin jeffersons.
• 38:34
Speaker 1: I have him in a dynasty league which is going nowhere.
• 38:36
Speaker 1: But it's not because of Justin Jefferson. Because my quarterback
• 38:39
Speaker 1: situation is an absolute dumpster fire.
• 38:41
Speaker 2: That's that's what that is. So and then they're doing
• 38:43
  Speaker 2: justin Jefferson.
• 38:44
Speaker 1: Anyway, those are the hot Takes presented by Frank's Red
• 38:48
  Speaker 1: Hot l Q.
• 38:49
Speaker 2: Appreciate you logging in as always, service talk to you
• 38:51
Speaker 2: next week. Yes, sir, it's another week and we.
• 38:56
Speaker 1: Are happy as always to be joined by our friend
• 38:59
Speaker 1: and NFL Network reporter Cam Wolf. And Cam, I'm sure
• 39:05
Speaker 1: so you're in the playoffs, I assume it both.
• 39:07
Speaker 2: Are you the one seed in both of your leagues
• 39:09
  Speaker 2: this year?
• 39:10
Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm the one seed in both of my leagues,
• 39:11
Speaker 5: and I'm scared man, like you only got negativity to go.
• 39:16
Speaker 5: This week, I'm playing the eight seed one of my leagues,
• 39:19
Speaker 5: the guy six and eight. I don't know how he
• 39:21
Speaker 5: got in the playoffs, but he's got a shot and
• 39:25
Speaker 5: if he knocks me off, he'll he'll be laughing. And
• 39:28
Speaker 5: so I'm curious how people feel is that one seed.
• 39:32
Speaker 4: I do remember a couple of weeks ago, you were like,
• 39:33
Speaker 4: I picked up Mike Evans and my league mates were like,
• 39:36
Speaker 4: what do you know?
• 39:37
Speaker 2: And now I'm sure coming your way?
• 39:40
Speaker 5: Yeah, broken clocks are right twice a day, you know
• 39:43
Speaker 5: what to tell you. You know, sometimes it just happens
• 39:45
Speaker 5: that way, right, you know. I also picked up Trey
• 39:48
Speaker 5: Benson and I just had to cut him.
• 39:49
Speaker 2: So sometimes you don't get them all right, right. You
• 39:53
Speaker 2: win some, you lose some. That's guy where it goes.
• 39:56
Speaker 1: I got to ask you what the biggest story of
• 39:58
Speaker 1: the week in Indianapolis. What are your expectations for forty
• 40:02
Speaker 1: four year old grandfather Philip Rivers coming back to play.
• 40:05
Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm gonna be honest, I have no expectations. I
• 40:08
Speaker 5: just want to see it. I think it's gonna be
• 40:10
Speaker 5: a fun story. I can't imagine getting off the couch
• 40:15
Speaker 5: and doing anything I did four years ago, including like
• 40:18
Speaker 5: playing flag football, so I can't imagine tackle football.
• 40:23
  Speaker 2: I look.
• 40:24
Speaker 5: I hope there's a fun player too in the journey.
• 40:27
Speaker 5: I hope that's he slings a deep touchdown or shakes
• 40:30
Speaker 5: somebody off of him.
• 40:32
Speaker 2: But this is not the right week that I would
• 40:34
  Speaker 2: love to make.
• 40:34
Speaker 5: My comeback as a forty four year playing a Seattle
• 40:38
Speaker 5: Seahawks team that is probably gonna blitch you and see
• 40:41
Speaker 5: what your instincts are. So I don't have a lot
• 40:44
Speaker 5: of optimism that is gonna go super well for Phillips Philip,
• 40:47
Speaker 5: but I'm hopeful for a fun moment or two.
• 40:50
Speaker 4: Hey, if it goes poorly this week, imagine what a
• 40:52
Speaker 4: couple weeks from it looks like they play like Cam. Look,
• 40:56
Speaker 4: you you've been with the brown like following the Browns
• 40:58
Speaker 4: a lot this year and stuff has sha door made
• 41:01
Speaker 4: a case to be there QB one next season.
• 41:04
Speaker 2: He certainly made a case for sure.
• 41:06
Speaker 5: I think that the way he played this past week
• 41:08
Speaker 5: was the best performance he's had all season. He's improved
• 41:12
Speaker 5: vastly on his pocket management, not drifting as much taking
• 41:15
Speaker 5: those sacks. That's something that the Browns are really emphasized
• 41:19
Speaker 5: with him, and he's showing a playmaking the ability that
• 41:22
Speaker 5: none of their order of other quarterbacks can show. Now
• 41:24
Speaker 5: to me, it's my consistency. You've got a few more
• 41:27
Speaker 5: games left, can you put up a few more like that?
• 41:30
Speaker 5: And if so, then yeah, maybe the Browns start thinking
• 41:33
Speaker 5: we kick some of those pack picks back twenty seven,
• 41:36
Speaker 5: we get pieces around him. If you don't fall in
• 41:39
Speaker 5: love with somebody in that draft class, then why not
• 41:42
Speaker 5: give it one more year. I think that he certainly
• 41:44
Speaker 5: can make his case with with duplicating a couple of
• 41:47
  Speaker 5: those games.
• 41:48
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I do like like they've kind of
• 41:50
Speaker 1: kept the offense sort of simple. They add a little
• 41:52
Speaker 1: bit in each and every week. I think he's done
• 41:54
Speaker 1: a good job with what they have given him to
• 41:56
Speaker 1: do so far. So I'm curious how to watch that development.
• 42:00
Speaker 2: Can we get a Dolphins vibes checked? The vibes were
• 42:03
Speaker 2: bad earlier in the year, it's kind of turned. What
• 42:05
Speaker 2: are the vibes around the Dolphins? Yeah?
• 42:07
Speaker 5: Yeah, I was just in a Dolphins locker room about
• 42:09
Speaker 5: twenty minutes ago and Chop Robinson told me we had
• 42:12
Speaker 5: hit rock bottom. We looked around each other and we're like,
• 42:14
Speaker 5: I'm playing awful, You're playing awful?
• 42:16
Speaker 2: Is this who we are? Are we awful?
• 42:18
Speaker 5: And they really have galvanized together. They're playing with the
• 42:22
Speaker 5: level of looseness, nothing to lose because they honestly had
• 42:25
Speaker 5: nothing to play for until this week.
• 42:27
Speaker 2: And you look up and you're like, maybe if.
• 42:29
Speaker 5: We squid, maybe if this team does this and this,
• 42:31
Speaker 5: and maybe we can get back into the hunt. And
• 42:34
Speaker 5: so I wonder if they can still play with that
• 42:36
Speaker 5: level of looseness. But a big portion of it is
• 42:39
Speaker 5: they chained their identity leaning on that run game, leaning
• 42:41
Speaker 5: on Devon h Chan in a way they have never
• 42:44
Speaker 5: done before, and he's running the ball spectacular. I just
• 42:48
Speaker 5: saw him at practice and he said he's doing well
• 42:50
Speaker 5: health wise, and I expect him to play Sunday despite
• 42:54
  Speaker 5: that rib injury.
• 42:56
  Speaker 4: And don't think I didn't notice Josh Allen's picture returned
• 42:59
Speaker 4: to your after a big win against the Bengals. But Cam,
• 43:04
Speaker 4: I have to ask you, what is going on with
• 43:06
Speaker 4: Joe Burrow. If I'm a Bengals fan his comments yesterday,
• 43:09
Speaker 4: I'm on like panic ten level right now.
• 43:12
Speaker 5: Yeah, it is always interesting because Joe doesn't talk much.
• 43:15
Speaker 5: Joe's very internal, and so when he says anything of value,
• 43:19
Speaker 5: you have to listen because it's coming from the heart.
• 43:22
  Speaker 2: I haven't got.
• 43:22
Speaker 5: Any indications that, like Joe Burrow is considering retirement, which
• 43:26
Speaker 5: is what I think some people went through there. But
• 43:28
Speaker 5: I think that he's just getting a little worn down
• 43:30
Speaker 5: by the injury cycle. Seems like every year it's him
• 43:33
Speaker 5: coming back and having a great year and then him
• 43:36
Speaker 5: getting injured, and it's.
• 43:36
Speaker 2: Back and forth, back and forth.
• 43:38
Speaker 5: I just think with no playoffs, no end results, I
• 43:41
Speaker 5: think he had some time where he was trying to
• 43:43
  Speaker 5: compartmentalize it.
• 43:45
  Speaker 2: But Joe's a competitor.
• 43:46
Speaker 5: I think he'll come out there this week and play great,
• 43:49
Speaker 5: but certainly onus on the Bengals.
• 43:51
Speaker 2: To not waste this Joe Burrow era.
• 43:53
Speaker 5: And I think back to Andrew Luck, and you just
• 43:55
Speaker 5: don't want to look a few years from now and say,
• 43:58
Speaker 5: what if we were better set up to win in
• 44:00
Speaker 5: the Joe Burrow era.
• 44:02
Speaker 1: Yeah, that was the name that that popped into my
• 44:04
Speaker 1: head too, was Andrew Luck. And I wonder if you
• 44:05
Speaker 1: know Colts people are Colts fans aren't texting saying, hey, man,
• 44:08
Speaker 1: make sure you take care of your guy.
• 44:10
Speaker 2: We've seen what happens if he pulls it as you look.
• 44:12
Speaker 2: Maybe they call it Carson back. That's a coach up
• 44:17
Speaker 2: to playing quarterback for the Bengals. Who knows which game
• 44:21
Speaker 2: we got this week, Cam.
• 44:23
Speaker 5: I'm actually at the Steelers Dolphins game, so I will
• 44:25
Speaker 5: get to see that Monday night game and see whether
• 44:28
Speaker 5: the Dolphins can keep this magic run going against old
• 44:32
  Speaker 5: Aaron Rodgers.
• 44:32
Speaker 2: So I'm really eager to see how they defend this
• 44:36
  Speaker 2: passing attack.
• 44:36
Speaker 5: You know, they've been up and down this year, the
• 44:38
Speaker 5: Steelers have, but dk Metcalt coming off a really strong week.
• 44:42
Speaker 5: You know, we're Seul Douglas on the other end is
• 44:44
Speaker 5: played well for the Dolphins. That's going to be a
• 44:46
Speaker 5: fun matchup to watch. And then on the other side,
• 44:49
Speaker 5: Ken the Steelers slow down Devon Chan, who's like we
• 44:52
Speaker 5: talked about playing incredible Pro Bowl type year to me,
• 44:55
Speaker 5: and the Steelers have really really struggled to stop that
• 44:57
Speaker 5: run defense, the run game all over. So I think
• 45:00
Speaker 5: this is actually a very competitive game. I know the
• 45:03
Speaker 5: Steelers are the leaders of their division, but I think
• 45:05
Speaker 5: the Dolphins can give them a run if they play
• 45:08
Speaker 5: their style of ball. Don't try to get the ball
• 45:10
Speaker 5: too much into his hands in this cold weather. I
• 45:13
Speaker 5: just try to hand the ball off to twenty eight
• 45:15
Speaker 5: and see what he can do.
• 45:16
Speaker 2: Damn. Always appreciate it. Look forward to catch it up
• 45:19
Speaker 2: with you next week. Boss.
• 45:20
Speaker 1: We'll look forward to seeing you out there between the
• 45:22
Speaker 1: Dolphins and the Steelers.
• 45:23
Speaker 2: That is it. We are done.
• 45:25
Speaker 1: We appreciate you hanging out with the NFL Fantasy Football Show.
• 45:28
Speaker 2: You know the drill.
• 45:28
Speaker 1: Tell two friends to tell two friends rate review and
• 45:31
Speaker 1: remember only the mediocre are always at their best. Be safe,
• 45:34
Speaker 1: take care of yourselves. Enjoy Week fifteen. We'll talk to
• 45:37
Speaker 1: you again on Monday. Wow spook at at bottok As
