- 0:12Speaker 1: Hello, welcome to the Nord even I Show. I'm your host,
- 0:15Speaker 1: job Shooter, and it is Thursday, which means our dear
- 0:18Speaker 1: friend Mark Lupo joins us. Hey, Loopy are you there?
- 0:21Speaker 2: Loopy lewis here?
- 0:22Speaker 1: Hi? Raight, Hey, we missed you last week, my friend,
- 0:26Speaker 1: but we talked behind your back. Did you listen?
- 0:29Speaker 2: I listened, and Kevin listened to and filled me in.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you, thank you. What are you doing
- 0:37Speaker 1: for the holidays? When did you get back to Doris's?
- 0:39Speaker 2: I go back to Doris's on Friday morning? And fabulous
- 0:42Speaker 2: we're doing at dinner, going aft to dinner on Christmas
- 0:45Speaker 2: Eve and then a family event on the day after
- 0:49Speaker 2: and we're just hanging out eating.
- 0:51Speaker 1: And yeah, it sounds perfect, perfect, perfect. Okay, let's jump
- 0:55Speaker 1: into the gossip because we've got so much to get
- 0:57Speaker 1: to today. What time is it, my friends? It is
- 1:01Speaker 1: tea time. This is a big story at the top
- 1:03Speaker 1: of the show that is getting so much traction online
- 1:06Speaker 1: on social media. People have exploded because Cameron Dias, who
- 1:10Speaker 1: really doesn't do many interviews, she doesn't like doing press,
- 1:14Speaker 1: but for some reason she did this podcast, Molly Simms Podcast,
- 1:18Speaker 1: I Love Molly Yalla, lola, lolo, and she said married
- 1:21Speaker 1: couples having separate bedrooms and even separate houses should be normalized.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Let me explain. So Cameron is saying that it should
- 1:32Speaker 1: be normalized for married couples to not only have separate
- 1:36Speaker 1: bedrooms if they want, but also separate houses. She said
- 1:41Speaker 1: she would literally love this. She said the following quote
- 1:44Speaker 1: to me, I would literally I have my house and
- 1:48Speaker 1: you have yours. We have the family house in the middle.
- 1:53Speaker 1: I will go and sleep in my room. You will
- 1:55Speaker 1: go and sleep in your room, and it will all
- 1:57Speaker 1: be fine, and we can have a bedroom in the
- 2:01Speaker 1: middle that they could convene on when they want to
- 2:03Speaker 1: have relations. But otherwise, Cameron said that she's really into
- 2:07Speaker 1: this now. Molly Sims was like, oh my goodness, that's
- 2:09Speaker 1: a very unusual opinion on orthodoxed opinion. I'm not sure
- 2:13Speaker 1: you should be saying that, at least on a podcast.
- 2:15Speaker 1: They're not out having drinks at bartino, and Cameron responded,
- 2:20Speaker 1: I've already said it, and by the way, I don't
- 2:23Speaker 1: feel that way now because my husband is so wonderful.
- 2:27Speaker 1: I said that before I got married, So before Cameron
- 2:31Speaker 1: got married, she thought that if she ever got married,
- 2:34Speaker 1: she'd have a separate home from her husband, But now
- 2:37Speaker 1: that she is married, she doesn't quite feel that way.
- 2:41Speaker 1: So it feels like she wants it sort of both ways.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Does she really mean this? I think she might.
- 2:46Speaker 2: I think she means it. I think she kind of
- 2:48Speaker 2: backtracked when Molly seems kind of what do you say?
- 2:52Speaker 2: The reality is these Hollywood people, they aren't home all
- 2:55Speaker 2: the time, right, Like she's out traveling for movies and
- 2:57Speaker 2: doing press or working on a book or whatever, and
- 3:00Speaker 2: so they don't have that typical day to day life
- 3:02Speaker 2: that most of us live, where you're in a house
- 3:04Speaker 2: with a spouse. So I'm even the more surprised to
- 3:06Speaker 2: hear that she would want this separation all.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Right, And don't forget too, they're so rich. Their houses
- 3:11Speaker 1: are really big. If you live with somebody in New
- 3:13Speaker 1: York City, you live with them because nobody has enough
- 3:16Speaker 1: money to have any spare space, like we are squeezed
- 3:20Speaker 1: into apartments, even people that are relatively well off. Some
- 3:23Speaker 1: of my fancy friends living relatively small apartments compared to
- 3:27Speaker 1: my rich friends in LA who have these huge mansions.
- 3:31Speaker 1: And so I sort of I like living with Bruce.
- 3:34Speaker 1: I like living with people. Maybe it's because I'm the
- 3:37Speaker 1: youngest of five kids. I've always had noise around me,
- 3:40Speaker 1: always people running around. I'm used to chaos. I like chaos.
- 3:44Speaker 1: But I don't want to completely dismiss this because I
- 3:48Speaker 1: spoke to a few of my friends and they said
- 3:50Speaker 1: they think it's a brilliant idea. And they said the
- 3:53Speaker 1: problem would be they wouldn't want to upset their partner
- 3:56Speaker 1: by bringing it up. But if they could have a
- 3:58Speaker 1: totally frank converse where you can say anything they say,
- 4:03Speaker 1: that they might think this is a good idea. Maybe
- 4:05Speaker 1: not separate houses, but at least separate bedrooms, because they
- 4:10Speaker 1: want to get a good night's sleep, and sometimes you're
- 4:12Speaker 1: partner the snool, sometimes they hunt the blankets, and so like,
- 4:16Speaker 1: a good night's sleep is a really important thing to
- 4:19Speaker 1: get every night. So I was thinking about it, and
- 4:21Speaker 1: I know it's not for me. What about you and
- 4:23Speaker 1: Kevin jonas Mark, What do you think?
- 4:25Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, I like when Kevin visits a few
- 4:29Speaker 2: times a week, and I'm very particular about my sleep.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Right so, I'm a polar bear. I want it to
- 4:34Speaker 2: be very, very very cold. I want the lights off,
- 4:37Speaker 2: I want no noise, I want to be dark. I
- 4:40Speaker 2: have a lot of rules on a certain side of
- 4:42Speaker 2: the bed. It's a lot of drama, and so if
- 4:44Speaker 2: you can't handle that, you can't sleep over it.
- 4:46Speaker 1: This is what it is.
- 4:48Speaker 2: And Kevin's really good about it. He accommodates all those requests.
- 4:51Speaker 2: But you know, sometimes you just want your sleep, especially
- 4:54Speaker 2: if you have a big day of the next day
- 4:55Speaker 2: and you like a good night's sleep. I have a
- 4:57Speaker 2: hard time sleeping, so I like to be along sometimes.
- 5:00Speaker 2: But I do like sharing a bed too, it depends.
- 5:03Speaker 1: I like the kissing and the cuddling part, but I
- 5:06Speaker 1: really like when I want to go to sleep. I
- 5:08Speaker 1: want to go to sleep. I'm not a cuddler. I'm
- 5:10Speaker 1: not really, I know, and so I just want to
- 5:13Speaker 1: go to sleep. And if you touch me while I'm asleep,
- 5:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna wake up. And I'm really furious. Like even
- 5:19Speaker 1: if you just your your leg or your foot touches
- 5:22Speaker 1: my foot, I'm like, please let the dark derby derby
- 5:25Speaker 1: sleeps on our bed. And if he knows not to
- 5:27Speaker 1: get too close to it, if he won't come near
- 5:30Speaker 1: me in the bed, because I'll push him away. So
- 5:32Speaker 1: I'm sort of like thinking about what Cameron said, Aaron,
- 5:35Speaker 1: this brings us to our whole question of the day,
- 5:38Speaker 1: what do you think about all this? Cameron DEAs says
- 5:42Speaker 1: that married couples having separate bedrooms and even separate houses
- 5:46Speaker 1: should be normalized. Is this a great idea or is
- 5:51Speaker 1: it a big mistake? Now? I should also point out too,
- 5:55Speaker 1: because our entire lives mark growing up, our relationships have
- 5:59Speaker 1: been people as gay men, lots of people have lots
- 6:03Speaker 1: of things to say about how we live our lives,
- 6:05Speaker 1: particularly our love lives, our lives with partners. So I
- 6:09Speaker 1: really try not to judge other people's relationships. We have
- 6:14Speaker 1: a mutual friend who's very, very successful, who's married. Him
- 6:18Speaker 1: and his husband live in different houses except on the weekend.
- 6:23Speaker 1: They only live together on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and
- 6:26Speaker 1: then Monday to Thursday. They have separate lives and it
- 6:30Speaker 1: really works for them. And at first I was like, oh,
- 6:32Speaker 1: that sounds terrible. It can't be a real relationship. I
- 6:35Speaker 1: did all that judgment, all those feelings that people have
- 6:38Speaker 1: projected onto me for years. I became that person, and
- 6:42Speaker 1: I stubbed myself and I was like, you know, it
- 6:44Speaker 1: really works for them, so let it be well, what
- 6:47Speaker 1: do you think about this? Do you think that this
- 6:49Speaker 1: is a great idea or a big mistake? Go verte
- 6:52Speaker 1: on our Twitter page at Naughty knys Rob or at
- 6:55Speaker 1: Facebook page Nordy Gossip and be sure to check back
- 6:57Speaker 1: tomorrow to hear your results. What are you working on? Yeah?
- 7:02Speaker 2: So, I have a mysterious story for you. Ut Britney
- 7:06Speaker 2: Spears is ex sam Ashgari is teasing a possible music career.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Oh let me explained. So Spears and Ashari, as we know,
- 7:14Speaker 2: have been dating since twenty sixteen, when they met while
- 7:17Speaker 2: recording her music video for Slumber Party. And now Ashgari
- 7:21Speaker 2: has shared an Instagram story of himself in a music
- 7:23Speaker 2: recording studio and in the post, he has seen wearing sunglasses,
- 7:27Speaker 2: having headphones on and standing right in front of a mic.
- 7:30Speaker 2: And he wrote in the post, what is happening in
- 7:33Speaker 2: here now? Robin? It's possible he's releasing original music or
- 7:37Speaker 2: maybe he's doing an audio book. But what do you
- 7:41Speaker 2: think is going on? Do you think that care? What
- 7:43Speaker 2: is happening here?
- 7:44Speaker 1: Oh? It's just you know I want to like Sam
- 7:47Speaker 1: I do. And when they were together, I was convinced
- 7:49Speaker 1: he was a good guy. He was there supporting Brittany.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Since they broke up, I'm starting to get a little
- 7:55Speaker 1: bit more suspicious. Yeah, and it's starting to bug me
- 7:58Speaker 1: a little bit. I get it. It's in a really
- 8:00Speaker 1: difficult position because for the rest of his life, like
- 8:02Speaker 1: Kevin Federline, he will be known as the man that
- 8:05Speaker 1: was married to Britney Spears. So he wants to have
- 8:07Speaker 1: a life. He deserves to have a life. He has
- 8:08Speaker 1: the right to have a life. He's going to make
- 8:11Speaker 1: some money too, And that's the other complicated thing here.
- 8:15Speaker 1: If he takes Britney's money, we're furious with him. But
- 8:18Speaker 1: if he earns his own money, we're not happy about
- 8:21Speaker 1: that either. And so, like, the guy is in this
- 8:25Speaker 1: sort of No. One situation where what is he going
- 8:29Speaker 1: to do for a living. He's a model, he wants
- 8:31Speaker 1: to sing, he wants to act. Well, we're all gonna
- 8:34Speaker 1: judge him. We're all gonna say you're getting jobs or
- 8:37Speaker 1: trying to get work on the back of Britney Spears.
- 8:40Speaker 1: But at what point do we just let Sam do
- 8:42Speaker 1: his thing? Like I don't think he should do music
- 8:44Speaker 1: that's too close to Britney. But he has been acting
- 8:47Speaker 1: for a while they met on a music video. Some
- 8:49Speaker 1: people call him a model, some people call him an actor.
- 8:52Speaker 1: There's been a lot of models Marky Mark who went
- 8:54Speaker 1: on to become actors, So I'm not judging that. Cameron Diaz,
- 8:57Speaker 1: there's a model too before she became an actress. So
- 9:00Speaker 1: beautiful people are always welcoming movies. I get it. So
- 9:03Speaker 1: he's certainly beautiful. He's got the DNA to be in movies.
- 9:07Speaker 1: I don't know if he should be in the recording studio,
- 9:10Speaker 1: and he certainly should not be singing.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Her sons absolutely agree with this. And listen, he's he
- 9:17Speaker 2: lost forty pounds recently. He looked. I saw that body's great.
- 9:20Speaker 2: He looks amazing.
- 9:21Speaker 1: It always was great, Mark. I'm not like he was
- 9:24Speaker 1: like such a It wasn't like Chris Pratt who suddenly
- 9:28Speaker 1: became super hot. He was hot and now he's like
- 9:31Speaker 1: a different version of hot. He was muscly hot and
- 9:34Speaker 1: now he's it's like skinny swimmers hot.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Yeah, he's leaner, but I you know, I think he
- 9:38Speaker 2: should focus. If I had to, you know, give him advice,
- 9:40Speaker 2: I would focus on the fitness. People. You know, he
- 9:43Speaker 2: looks great. People would take advice from him that way,
- 9:45Speaker 2: and he's always been a fitness person. So rather than
- 9:48Speaker 2: you know Ryan Britney's coat tails, just focus on what
- 9:50Speaker 2: you do best.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Oh, that's such good advice to everybody. I've where they met.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Anybody who is good at something they don't enjoy. If
- 9:59Speaker 1: you're good at something, you probably enjoy doing it, So
- 10:02Speaker 1: try and make that a live in I was always
- 10:05Speaker 1: good at gossiping, even when I was at school. I
- 10:08Speaker 1: knew everyone's gossip. I thought I knew everyone's secrets. In
- 10:11Speaker 1: the playground, I knew what was going on. It was
- 10:13Speaker 1: like dangerous liaison. I knew everything I sat there, I
- 10:16Speaker 1: knew all the details. I enjoy it. I'm good at it.
- 10:20Speaker 1: I've made that into my living. You're good at connecting people, Mark,
- 10:24Speaker 1: You're a really good organizer, connector, and you've turned that
- 10:28Speaker 1: into your job too, like your job booking and producing.
- 10:32Speaker 1: You find something that you're good at, something that you enjoy.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Don't do something because you think there's going to be
- 10:39Speaker 1: an opportunity there to make money, And I fear I
- 10:41Speaker 1: don't think Sam as for ten years been saying I
- 10:45Speaker 1: want to be a singer. I want to be a singer. No,
- 10:48Speaker 1: he's doing this now because he thinks there's some money
- 10:52Speaker 1: to be made. And I found, at least in my life,
- 10:55Speaker 1: when I go for the money, the opposite happens. There's
- 10:58Speaker 1: never any money there. You just said up making a
- 11:01Speaker 1: fool of yourself. So we do wish you're the best, Sam,
- 11:03Speaker 1: but this feels just a little bit creepy. Okay, living
- 11:06Speaker 1: along Travis Kelsey, who's my new favorite person. I can't
- 11:10Speaker 1: get enough of him. And so Travis is reacting to
- 11:14Speaker 1: Taylor bean booed at the Patriot game, so he's basically
- 11:18Speaker 1: just shaking it off. He was on a podcast with
- 11:21Speaker 1: his brother and they said that Taylor showed up and
- 11:24Speaker 1: some people there did boo her, and he was like,
- 11:29Speaker 1: they were absolutely insane. When Taylor showed up on the screen.
- 11:33Speaker 1: He said, people lost their minds and it's how amazing
- 11:36Speaker 1: she is. And then the brother pointed out that might
- 11:38Speaker 1: be true, but.
- 11:39Speaker 3: She also did get a few boos, and he said
- 11:44Speaker 3: that he's drying to keep it cool and not show
- 11:48Speaker 3: his cart and did.
- 11:50Speaker 1: He did want to point out though, that yes, she
- 11:52Speaker 1: might have got a few booze loud ones, but she
- 11:55Speaker 1: also got a lot of cheers. I like this in
- 11:58Speaker 1: loving relationships, with ends, with partners, look for the good stuff,
- 12:02Speaker 1: Let the bad stuff just go away, don't focus on it.
- 12:06Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 12:07Speaker 2: I totally agree, and I think in this case, you know,
- 12:09Speaker 2: if you go to a sporting event, which I don't
- 12:11Speaker 2: go to May, but when you do go round you
- 12:13Speaker 2: know this is part of it. Like the fans are
- 12:15Speaker 2: wild and they're all riled up and they want to,
- 12:17Speaker 2: you know, support their home team. And so when she's
- 12:20Speaker 2: wearing the uppers of colors, I don't think it's a
- 12:21Speaker 2: personal attack. I think it's just like this is how
- 12:23Speaker 2: it goes at a sporting event.
- 12:25Speaker 1: It's like Gladiator, that movie. I feel like I'm in
- 12:30Speaker 1: the Colosseum in Rome. Like people the mob. They get
- 12:34Speaker 1: carried away with themselves, aren't they. I have not really
- 12:36Speaker 1: been to many sporting events either. I'm trying to think
- 12:39Speaker 1: of one I must have, because I do remember remember
- 12:43Speaker 1: when I was a young boy in Britain, I went
- 12:44Speaker 1: to a football game. I hated it, but I do
- 12:47Speaker 1: remember the crowd, like twenty thousand people screaming like I
- 12:51Speaker 1: felt like, oh my goodness. I feel like I'm an
- 12:53Speaker 1: ancient Rome and I could get really carried away with
- 12:56Speaker 1: all this, I do like that he can he can
- 12:59Speaker 1: sort of poke for a little bit at himself at
- 13:01Speaker 1: Taylor at this situation. I mean, it's sort of ridiculous
- 13:04Speaker 1: what's happened to the two of them? And I think
- 13:06Speaker 1: he's in on the joke, okay, talking about being in
- 13:10Speaker 1: on the joke, Megan Markle, I think he's winking at
- 13:14Speaker 1: us all. What is she up to?
- 13:16Speaker 2: Yeah? So Megan Markle has now found herself back in
- 13:19Speaker 2: front of the cameras, only this time the address has
- 13:22Speaker 2: appeared in a cameo for Clever's new coffee ad. So
- 13:26Speaker 2: the Duchess of Sussex took on the role of an
- 13:28Speaker 2: intern who can been seen stacking boxes and brewing coffee,
- 13:31Speaker 2: as well as typing away to computer in the digital department. Now,
- 13:35Speaker 2: Rob the Latte brand teased Marcle's cameo, writing, damn, you're
- 13:39Speaker 2: keeping us busy right now. Had to call him some reinforcements.
- 13:43Speaker 2: If you watch the ad, it's really cute. It starts
- 13:45Speaker 2: off with the co founder of the company welcoming the
- 13:48Speaker 2: viewers to the Clever headquarters and she says, I want
- 13:51Speaker 2: to give a huge shout out to our amazing team
- 13:53Speaker 2: here without them, we are nothing. And then she introduces
- 13:57Speaker 2: the team and you can see Markle and the other
- 13:59Speaker 2: employees who introduced as very smart and only slightly nerdy.
- 14:03Speaker 2: And Meghan's there sitting at the computer typing away and
- 14:06Speaker 2: she's throughout the act and I think this is you know,
- 14:07Speaker 2: this is really cute because she is invested. She's an
- 14:10Speaker 2: investor in the in the company, and so she's making
- 14:13Speaker 2: her finally her debut back into acting.
- 14:15Speaker 1: It's cute. I think it's really really cute. I mean,
- 14:18Speaker 1: she is one of the most famous people in the world.
- 14:21Speaker 1: She could demand that she's the face of the at
- 14:23Speaker 1: like and actually maybe that might not be a bad idea.
- 14:25Speaker 1: But being in the background doing a little cameo, let's
- 14:28Speaker 1: point out this is not cameo. Like George Santas, this
- 14:32Speaker 1: is not a cameo. When I had a cameo, I
- 14:33Speaker 1: was like, oh my god, she's doing videos, so it's
- 14:35Speaker 1: going to get you one for Christmas. No, it's not
- 14:37Speaker 1: that it's a cameo in the traditional sense of the world,
- 14:40Speaker 1: which means she makes a very small, short appearance in
- 14:44Speaker 1: this video. I think it's really clever marketing, and it's
- 14:46Speaker 1: got us all talking and that this coffee company that
- 14:49Speaker 1: I didn't even know existed. So having Megan as part
- 14:52Speaker 1: owner is really really clever and using her celebrity to
- 14:56Speaker 1: draw attention to this. I think it's a really really
- 14:58Speaker 1: brilliant thing to do. So Too has brought up a
- 15:02Speaker 1: new report that Megan is refocusing back on her brand,
- 15:05Speaker 1: that she feels like playing the victim, which is what
- 15:08Speaker 1: people have accused her of doing. Her and Harry it
- 15:11Speaker 1: hasn't really worked out, and so now they're going to
- 15:13Speaker 1: put that to one side and she is going to
- 15:17Speaker 1: focus on her core brand, on her businesses. And it's
- 15:20Speaker 1: interesting too, it didn't include Harry. I think we're going
- 15:24Speaker 1: to see they're not split. I'm not saying they're breaking
- 15:26Speaker 1: up there together as a couple, but professionally, I think
- 15:29Speaker 1: we're going to see both of them really do events
- 15:33Speaker 1: projects by themselves, not as a team anymore, which might
- 15:37Speaker 1: be a good idea.
- 15:38Speaker 2: It is a good idea, and I think Rob watching this,
- 15:40Speaker 2: this was the first time in a while I felt
- 15:42Speaker 2: like this was positive and fun and laugh and we're
- 15:45Speaker 2: kind of like, I get we're the narrative that they
- 15:48Speaker 2: were pushing for so long is just tired now and
- 15:51Speaker 2: we're moving on from that and I'm happy to see her,
- 15:54Speaker 2: you know, getting back to what she really enjoys doing.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Absolutely. Hey, we're going to take a quick break and
- 15:59Speaker 1: we're going to get back so what we really enjoy doing,
- 16:01Speaker 1: which is bringing you all. We as it. We'll we're
- 16:03Speaker 1: back in just a moment. Welcome back to the Naughty
- 16:06Speaker 1: but Nicer m Rob Shooter with Ida friend Mark Lupo. Heeleyly,
- 16:09Speaker 1: let's get to the polls, dumb, So, yesterday we talked
- 16:15Speaker 1: about Celine Dion no longer has control over her muscle,
- 16:19Speaker 1: so her sister has said this. Our question was should
- 16:22Speaker 1: her sister be talking about this? We actually got a
- 16:25Speaker 1: little bit of backlash, and rightfully so, some of the
- 16:27Speaker 1: noughties thought we were being a little bit cruel to Selene,
- 16:30Speaker 1: and that definitely was not our intention. We have nothing
- 16:33Speaker 1: here but kind thoughts to Selene. Our question was, should
- 16:37Speaker 1: the sister be telling this this story? It feels very personal,
- 16:40Speaker 1: and we know Selene is very private about her medical
- 16:44Speaker 1: her medical issue, So should the sister be telling this.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Let's have a look. Sixty two percent said no, this
- 16:50Speaker 1: is Selene's story to tell. I do hope here though, Mark,
- 16:54Speaker 1: I do hope that the sister got Selene's permission to
- 16:58Speaker 1: tell this story before she before she did. So, Okay,
- 17:02Speaker 1: don't forget to note on today's pole. Get my Twitter
- 17:04Speaker 1: page I had nulty nice, Rob. Her Facebook page is
- 17:06Speaker 1: naulty gossip and be sure to check that tomorrow to
- 17:09Speaker 1: hear your results. And now it's time for our nicest
- 17:13Speaker 1: of the day.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Oh it's Jennifer Love Hewitt. Rob, this is this is
- 17:19Speaker 2: a surprise. So Jennifer Love Hewitt is calling out aging
- 17:22Speaker 2: in Hollywood after being labeled unrecognizable and filtered pictures. She says,
- 17:27Speaker 2: aging in Hollywood is really hard. It's really hard because
- 17:30Speaker 2: you can't do anything right. Rob. The actress went on
- 17:34Speaker 2: to discuss the backlash and attention that followed her post
- 17:37Speaker 2: hair appointment selfie. She said, I was getting my hair done,
- 17:40Speaker 2: I had not a stitch of makeup on, so I
- 17:42Speaker 2: threw on a filter. I really gave it no thought. Now,
- 17:45Speaker 2: after she posted the photo, he had said, a bunch
- 17:47Speaker 2: of people were like, Jennifer Love Hewitt looks unrecognizable. Rob,
- 17:52Speaker 2: what do you think of this kind of backlash she's
- 17:54Speaker 2: getting on social media?
- 17:56Speaker 1: I think it's really cool, you know, Jennifer, I agree
- 17:59Speaker 1: with everything except for one thing you said. Aging is
- 18:02Speaker 1: hard everywhere, not just in Hollywood. It's really hard. People
- 18:05Speaker 1: are judging, and people can be cruel, and people don't
- 18:08Speaker 1: want anybody to grow up, and maybe we don't want
- 18:10Speaker 1: to grow up ourselves. Embrace who you are, Embrace who
- 18:14Speaker 1: you're going to become. Mother Nature is going to win.
- 18:18Speaker 1: So you can help yourself by moisturizing, staying out of
- 18:21Speaker 1: the sun, drink lots of water. I'm all for that,
- 18:24Speaker 1: but I think when you go to extremes it really
- 18:28Speaker 1: gets a little bit dangerous. And I know that using
- 18:31Speaker 1: filters and the Kardashians have been really sort of at
- 18:35Speaker 1: the forefront of this. I'm not sure it sends a
- 18:37Speaker 1: good message because people believe that you can look like that,
- 18:41Speaker 1: that you can literally turn back time, and you can't.
- 18:44Speaker 1: I promise you. I've worked for some of the biggest
- 18:47Speaker 1: supermodels in the world, including Leomi Campbell. She looks fabulous,
- 18:50Speaker 1: but Naomi doesn't look the same today as she did
- 18:52Speaker 1: when she was twenty, and she is fine with that.
- 18:56Speaker 1: So don't try to fight a war that you're not
- 19:01Speaker 1: gonna win. Help yourself along and be a little kinder
- 19:04Speaker 1: to others, but most importantly, be a little kinder to yourself. Okay,
- 19:09Speaker 1: I'm naughtiest of the day. Naughty, naughty, naughty, naughty. George
- 19:12Speaker 1: Clooney says Matthew Perry wasn't happy while filming Friends. It
- 19:16Speaker 1: didn't bring him joy. So George and that were friends.
- 19:20Speaker 1: They knew each other. In fact, they filmed on the
- 19:21Speaker 1: same lot at Warner Brothers. While he was doing Friends,
- 19:24Speaker 1: Matthew was doing Er and he said, all ever Matty
- 19:27Speaker 1: wanted was to get on a sitcom. He said, man,
- 19:30Speaker 1: if I get on a regular sitcom, I'd be the
- 19:32Speaker 1: happiest man on earth. Then George said he probably got
- 19:35Speaker 1: on one of the best sitcoms ever, and he still
- 19:37Speaker 1: wasn't happy. The reason this is the naughtiest of the
- 19:40Speaker 1: day is stop looking for things outside yourself to make
- 19:44Speaker 1: you happy. Happiness has to come from within. I know
- 19:48Speaker 1: in my life that I thought, oh, I would be
- 19:51Speaker 1: happy if I made ten thousand more dollars. Oh, I
- 19:54Speaker 1: would be happy if I lost five more pounds, And
- 19:56Speaker 1: then you make ten thousand more dollars, you lose five pounds,
- 20:00Speaker 1: any happier. Stop projecting happiness outside of yourself. It has
- 20:05Speaker 1: to come from within. Okay, let's end with a moment
- 20:08Speaker 1: of Rob. You rub you rub you good rub. They
- 20:12Speaker 1: try to devalue you because you have so much worth.
- 20:16Speaker 1: So if somebody tries to put you down, it's not
- 20:18Speaker 1: because you're worthless. It's the opposite. It's because you were
- 20:21Speaker 1: worth so much. So I've made this mistake before. I've
- 20:24Speaker 1: let people put me down, put me in my place,
- 20:27Speaker 1: make me feel worthless. And now I realize I was
- 20:32Speaker 1: never worthless, and the reason they tried to make me
- 20:35Speaker 1: feel like that was because I was worth so much.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Remember that next time someone tries to put you down,
- 20:43Speaker 1: it's only because you are worth so much. Hey, that
- 20:47Speaker 1: is it for today. Thank you so much for listening
- 20:49Speaker 1: to the Naughty but Nice with Rob and Mark show,
- 20:51Speaker 1: a production of iHeartRadio. Don't forget to subscribe on the
- 20:54Speaker 1: iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, wherever you listen, leave us a
- 20:57Speaker 1: review if you can, and remember altogether. Now let's here,
- 21:00Speaker 1: you're singing along. If you're going to be naughty, you've
- 21:04Speaker 1: got to be nice. Take care of everybody's pit here.
- 21:10Speaker 2: It's not even nice with Bro
