Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_02]: The liberal globalist order is on its brink and awakening a new conservative age.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_02]: On Dr. Steve Turley, join me every day as we discover answers to today's toughest challenges and explore the re-bondalization of conservative civilization.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_02]: This is Turley Talks.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_02]: What you're about to see is not a political setback.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_02]: It's not a tough news cycle.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_02]: It's not a bump in the road for the Democrat party.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_02]: What we are literally witnessing in real time is an extinction level event.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_02]: In the last 72 hours, the entire electoral strategy of the Democrat party that they've spent years building the maps, the court maneuvers, the constitutional shortcuts, the backroom schemes, just got detonated, one by one.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_02]: By a court, they can't control a calendar,
- 1:00[SPEAKER_02]: They can't solve.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_02]: The Virginia Supreme Court just nuked the Democrats' dream of a 10-to-1 congressional stranglehold on the state of Virginia, gone, in a single ruling, and rather than accept the verdict of a duly constituted court of law,
- 1:17[SPEAKER_02]: The Democrats have responded with a plan so brazen, so radical, so unhinged that even some of their own allies can't believe they're actually considering it.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_02]: So will their radical scheme against the Virginia Supreme Court work?
- 1:32[SPEAKER_02]: That's exactly what we're about to find out.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_02]: Hey gang, it's me, Dr. Steve, your Patre professor here to celebrate yet another glorious day in the Trumpian Golden Age that you made possible back in November of 2024 and it looks increasingly likely that you're going to do it again this November in the midterms.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_02]: So if you want a front row seat on how you continue to change this nation and the world in ways you never even imagined.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_02]: You know what to do, make sure to smack that bell and subscribe, but also I'm putting together something very special for the Turley Talks community this summer.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_02]: I can't share all the details just yet, but you want to watch your inbox very closely scan the QR code on your screen.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_02]: and sign up for my newsletter so you don't miss what's coming.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_02]: All right, let's dive right in here gang.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure you're all aware of the bombshell ruling, just delivered by the Virginia Supreme Court on Friday.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_02]: They drop what may be the single most consequential state court ruling of the entire 2026 election cycle, the Virginia Supreme Court in a four to three decision, nullify the April 21st referendum.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_02]: that would have altered the state's six to five congressional district map to a radical 10 to one Democrat dominated map.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_02]: Virginia Democrats thought that they could win the national redistricting wars by pulling off the stunt that barely passed by less than three points, this redistricting referendum.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_02]: It was not popular in the least, and the Virginia Supreme Court struck it down as blatantly unconstitutional.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_02]: The Virginia Constitution, however you want, whenever you want, right?
- 3:13[SPEAKER_02]: There are procedural rules, obviously.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_02]: The Virginia Constitution requires that any constitutional amendment be passed by two successive general assemblies, meaning it has to go through the legislature, then through an election, then through the next legislature, and then to the voters.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_02]: That's the clear, unambiguous process.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_02]: by which to amend the state's constitution.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_02]: The Democrats, it fathically did not do that, not even remotely.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_02]: All they're weeping and gnashing of teeth about democracy, democracy didn't change the simple fact that they skipped a step.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_02]: They ran this referendum through in one session and the Virginia Supreme Court called them out on it.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_02]: And they shot the referendum down as blatantly unconstitutional.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_02]: So the Democrat dream of a 10-to-1 House
- 4:05[SPEAKER_02]: gone dead buried as is the Democrats hopes of taking back the house.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_02]: Axios is reporting the Democrat leadership is openly panicking is a more more realized that the midterms are indeed slipping away from them.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_02]: See what's so fascinating about this upcoming midterms is that it's becoming increasingly apparent that this midterm election will not be decided
- 4:35[SPEAKER_02]: of politics.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_02]: So the pattern that's been operative and all, but three midterm elections over the last century is that the party in power loses an average of 30 to 40 seats.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_02]: There's only been three exceptions, 1934, 1998 and 2002.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_02]: But this midterm is unique in that it's being decided more structurally in that the massive gains that the GOP is making through middecade redistricting is now putting them just shy of one seat to keep the majority.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_02]: Here's the latest congressional forecasted map from inside elections.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_02]: They're now projecting that the Republicans are at 217 safe to leaning seats as a result of the Virginia Supreme Court decision, which means that they would only need to win a single toss-up seat to retain the majority at 218, just one.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_02]: And in case you didn't know, even in their last landslide midterms election back in 2018 when the Democrats won over 40 seats, even in that election, they didn't sweep the toss-ups.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_02]: They lost several toss-ups seats.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_02]: So winning a single toss-up seat is practically inevitable for the GOP and keep in mind that this map doesn't include Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and South Carolina
- 6:01[SPEAKER_02]: seat collectively about four or five seats.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_02]: So we're maybe entering November with as many as 2222 seats with the majority already baked in, which would be absolutely devastating to Democrat morale, especially.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_02]: given how broke they are.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_02]: They're now reportedly $15 million in debt.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_02]: While the GOP with Trump have a treasure chest, a war chest of upwards of the billion dollars to spend.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_02]: So now you can see why the Democrats are so patheticly desperate that they're actually trying to figure out how to remove every single Virginia Supreme Court Justice from office.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_02]: Did you see this?
- 6:45[SPEAKER_02]: They're actually trying to purge all seven Supreme Court justices from the court.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_02]: And then stack the court with a bunch of radical leftists who'll just rubber stamp the redistricting referendum.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_02]: I kid you not.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_02]: The Democrats are literally plotting to destroy the court itself because they didn't get their way.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_02]: The New York Times is reporting that right now as we speak,
- 7:11[SPEAKER_02]: The Democrats are plotting on forcing every single justice in the Virginia Supreme Court into early retirement.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_02]: All of them at once.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_02]: Virginia Law allows legislature to set a mandatory retirement age for judges.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_02]: The current retirement age is 73.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_02]: So what Democrats are plotting is dropping it to 54, the age of the youngest justice and make it take effect immediately.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_02]: They believe by doing that, the entire court will be gone literally in overnight.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_02]: Then they'll stack it with hand pick liberal activists, have them re-here the case, and reverse the ruling.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_02]: My name's St. Jonathan Turley, law professor at George Washington University.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_02]: He's calling it the gut and pack scheme, gut the court, pack it with loyalists, reverse the decision.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_02]: So is it gonna work?
- 8:13[SPEAKER_02]: Did the Democrats hash out a successful plan to thwart the Virginia Supreme Court?
- 8:19[SPEAKER_02]: That's exactly what we're about to find out.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_02]: Well, Trump unleashes a political reckoning.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_02]: There is another crisis poisoning every American in some way shape or form even in the comfort of our own homes.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_02]: I'm talking about the microplastic epidemic.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_02]: Now, you may have heard about this, but this is pretty shocking stuff.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_00]: Check this out.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_01]: tons of microplastics, wash ashore all over the world every day.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_01]: And now for the first time, scientists in the Netherlands have detected microplastic pollution in human blood.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_03]: All the microplastics in our class, we are exposed to we inhale and be ingest that actually, you know, they did this.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_03]: and our bloodstream.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_01]: The Dutch study on blood samples from healthy adults detected tiny plastic particles in 80% of people.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_02]: That's right.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_02]: There's a microplastic crisis poisoning every American in some way shape or form.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_02]: They're in our food, our water, our meats, our proteins, in fact.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_02]: According to a recent study, we now ingest six times more microplastics than in 1990.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_02]: It's wreaking havoc on our health and on our organ functions, and unfortunately no one is immune from this bot.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_02]: There is an amazing solution.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_02]: There's a unique bacterial strain found only in kimchi that's been found to effectively degrade microplastics.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_02]: In fact, traditional kimchi is one of the world's most powerful superfoods, but let's be honest.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_02]: It's messy, it's strong smelling, and not exactly easy to eat every single day.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_02]: So that's why our good friends over at Brightcore created Kim Chi Wan.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_02]: Now you can get all the benefits of premium, fermented Kim Chi in convenient capsule form.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_02]: No mess, no taste, no hassle.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_02]: I've been taking Kim Chi Wan every single day for months now and gang.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_02]: I love it.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_02]: Each capsule delivers over 900 probiotic strange live enzymes and antioxidants that help restore balance in your gut.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_02]: People are seeing improvements in digestion, bloating, regularity, energy, metabolism,
- 10:35[SPEAKER_02]: Studies show that Kimchi even reduces the risk of obesity.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_02]: Kimchi, one is all natural, non-GMO, 100% made right here in the USA.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_02]: It's completely dairy-free, gluten-free, soy-free, such as anyone could take it.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_02]: I personally love it.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_02]: And I love knowing that I'm supporting my gut and overall health in one simple step.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_02]: So you've been looking for a way to boost your immune system and remove microplastic toxins from your body.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_02]: This is it.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_02]: by going to the link below or for an even better deal, give them a call.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_02]: My friends at BrightCart would love to chat with you.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_02]: And they're going to give you 50% off plus free shipping.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_02]: Call them at Triple 8, 590233, the first 100 callers to order are going to get a free bottle of Vitamin D3.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_02]: Again, you only get that 50% off and free shipping when you give them a call.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_02]: So once again, that number is Triple 8, 59070233.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_02]: The Virginia Department of Elections Commissioner Stephen Koski submitted a declaration to the court when it was considering the constitutionality of the referendum, and in that declaration, Commissioner Koski identified a very important date, May 12th.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_02]: That's tomorrow.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_02]: As the point of no return, his exact words in the filing quote, delay beyond a certain point
- 12:03[SPEAKER_02]: Once the Virginia Department of Elections begins implementing congressional district lines after May 12th, any court order to change the map would require reversing work already completed, reassigning voters, reassuring district assignment notices, reprogramming election systems, reassuring ballots.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_02]: The commissioner testified that this isn't an administrative inconvenience, it's the kind of mid-cycle disruption that produces the exact election administration errors, the system is specifically designed to prevent such as voters receiving the wrong ballot or precincts misassigned or voter registrations out of date.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_02]: So, bottom line, the Department of Elections Commissioner,
- 12:55[SPEAKER_02]: Tomorrow is the point of no return.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_02]: That's what he was telling the Supreme Court.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_02]: Their decision could not be any later than May 12th, because whatever maps they're using can't be modified after that date, which just so happens to be, did I mention tomorrow?
- 13:14[SPEAKER_02]: So even if the Democrats really attempted to try this ill-gotten plan, they would have to do it all before the end of the day.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_02]: It's simply impossible.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_02]: It can happen, even in the most optimistic Democrat scenario where the legislature instantly passes an emergency mandatory retirement age bill that hasn't even been written yet.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_02]: Then Governor Spamberg assigns it literally that very same day, she hasn't even endorsed the plan yet.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_02]: new justices are then somehow immediately appointed and confirmed the court reverses the ruling overnight and a new map is ordered all of that would have to be done before the end of day tomorrow.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_02]: At least I'll give it to give them 24 hours and that's before anyone even gets to the inevitable constitutional challenges that would stop it in court.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_02]: It can't, it's not going to, gang, even if this did happen.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_02]: It's legality would immediately be contested, and guess who would ultimately rule on this age limit legality?
- 14:26[SPEAKER_02]: The Virginia Supreme Court, the very justices they're trying to remove.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_02]: They're the ones who would ultimately determine the legality of the law.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_02]: gang.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_02]: Bottom line.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry if you're Democrat.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry to tell you Virginia redistricting is debt.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_02]: It's gone.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_02]: At least this amendment is dead.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe you could try again in 2028.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_02]: But it's done.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, you know, put a fork in it.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_02]: It is done.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_02]: There's no way around that.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_02]: But more than that.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_02]: This gun and pack scheme isn't just a failed legal maneuver.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_02]: It's a confession.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_02]: It's an admission, again, bottom line, that level of obvious desperation that the Democrats are willing to consider doesn't come from a party that thinks it can win fair elections.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_02]: That's not coming from a position of confidence.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_02]: It comes from a party that is beginning to understand in the marrow of its bones that the
- 15:36[SPEAKER_02]: forty years is collapsing.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_02]: The delay rolling from the U.S. Supreme Court has already declared race-based jury-mandering, unconstitutional.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_02]: Do you realize that takes a sledge hammer to an estimated 122 Democrat held house districts throughout the nation?
- 15:58[SPEAKER_02]: That's more than half of their caucus.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_02]: They're congressional caucus.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_02]: The Virginia redistricting just got shot down, Florida, Texas, Ohio, Missouri, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, they're all moving, repub, they're all gaining seats.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_02]: And 2030.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_02]: The next full census and full national redistricting looms on the horizon with blue states not only losing 12 to 14 congressional seats, but also with a Supreme Court president that now forbids the racial engineering Democrats use to build their entire house coalition over the last several decades.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_02]: And when you add all of that up.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_02]: What you're witnessing is not a party having a bad cycle.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_02]: On some level, knows it's being structurally locked out of power for generation, and so that explains why it's willing to torture every democratic norm, every judicial institution, every legal principle to try desperately to stop it, the desperation is manifest.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_02]: The map is moving against them.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_02]: And the redistricting earthquake that we're living through right now from collade of Virginia to Florida to Texas to the 2030 census is just getting started.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_02]: So what do you guys think?
- 17:29[SPEAKER_02]: Are we witnessing an extinction level event for the Democrats?
