- 0:00Speaker 1: Celebrity news he did like that.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Guards Ryan Reynolds has opened up about the time he
- 0:05Speaker 2: went to hospital for four weeks because he was actually
- 0:08Speaker 2: hit by a drunk driver. So this happened back in
- 0:11Speaker 2: the nineties. He was only eighteen at the time, and
- 0:13Speaker 2: apparently he was at a bar. Leaving a bar, walked
- 0:15Speaker 2: to his car and thought, shit, I've been drinking. I
- 0:18Speaker 2: really shouldn't be driving. So he did the right thing,
- 0:21Speaker 2: looked away from his car, and then got hit by
- 0:24Speaker 2: another friend doing the wrong the person doing the wrong thing.
- 0:26Speaker 2: And that's why your parents always say, it's not you,
- 0:28Speaker 2: it's everyone around you. So he was doing this video
- 0:31Speaker 2: for GQ, which, by the way, if hear some noise,
- 0:33Speaker 2: he's building an IQ of flat pack while.
- 0:35Speaker 1: He's telling the story.
- 0:37Speaker 2: And yeah, this is him explaining what happened When I
- 0:39Speaker 2: was eighteen.
- 0:40Speaker 1: I left a bar and I'd had a beer, you know,
- 0:44Speaker 1: And I walked back and I looked at my car
- 0:46Speaker 1: for a second. I thought, you know what, I'm not
- 0:47Speaker 1: going to drive anywhere, even if it's four blocks home.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Absolutely not, and so on said. I turned around, started
- 0:53Speaker 1: across the street, and I was run over by a
- 0:55Speaker 1: drunk driver. After making a firmly positive and wise decision
- 1:01Speaker 1: for a young eighteen year old mouthlist four weeks in
- 1:03Speaker 1: the hospital. What oh yeah, how am I not here
- 1:07Speaker 1: for someone? I broke every bone on my left side.
- 1:10Speaker 1: He hit me so hard his car was not operational.
- 1:14Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Yeah, very bad.
- 1:16Speaker 3: I actually have a friend who this happened to when
- 1:18Speaker 3: she was like eighteen nineteen. She was crossing the road
- 1:21Speaker 3: and got hit by a drunk driver. Ended up in
- 1:23Speaker 3: hospital for like two and a half weeks. I think
- 1:25Speaker 3: she's still getting compo. Actually, because I actually did, it
- 1:29Speaker 3: has caused long term damage. So drinking and driving is
- 1:33Speaker 3: just horrendous.
- 1:34Speaker 2: While we're talking, I just remembered I've been hit by
- 1:36Speaker 2: a car line, but I was drunk and it was
- 1:38Speaker 2: my faulty when I walk out in front of a
- 1:41Speaker 2: car basically, so I dropped something as I was crossing
- 1:44Speaker 2: the road, and then in my drunk brain, I just
- 1:47Speaker 2: went oh and turned around, not realizing it's a road,
- 1:50Speaker 2: and thankfully their side mirror hit me and it flew off,
- 1:54Speaker 2: and then I just picked up my thing and my
- 1:56Speaker 2: friend's like, are you okay? And I'm like, what, didn't
- 1:58Speaker 2: even know the car hit drinks? So I think I
- 2:04Speaker 2: pre drinked before a concert or something, so I was.
- 2:07Speaker 3: No, it's a bad drinker. Are you? And constantly I'm
- 2:10Speaker 3: not drinking this weekend? Are you I'm not drinking this weekend?
- 2:13Speaker 3: Or are you drinking on the turps?
- 2:16Speaker 2: Look, I have a girl's loan, Oh Saturday. Okay. So
- 2:20Speaker 2: when I say I'm not drinking, I think I mean
- 2:22Speaker 2: I'm not drinking.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Too much, not binge drinking.
- 2:25Speaker 2: She's not like out drinking. Yeah, because most people know
- 2:28Speaker 2: their limit and I don't. When I say I'm not drinking,
- 2:31Speaker 2: I think I mean I'm going to know my limit
- 2:32Speaker 2: this year.
- 2:33Speaker 3: You're just going to have like two or three.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Yeah, but no, it is the story of my life. Yes, correct,
- 2:38Speaker 2: we'll say I'll tell you on Monday. Zac Efron has
- 2:41Speaker 2: been quietly living in Australia for a while, and he's
- 2:43Speaker 2: building a multimillion dollar Hemp house, so he's apparently secretly
- 2:50Speaker 2: living in Byron at the moment. Which Zach spent a
- 2:52Speaker 2: fair bit of time in Australia. By the way, he
- 2:54Speaker 2: did that series I can't remember what it was called,
- 2:56Speaker 2: but a Netflix series about his time here. He was
- 2:58Speaker 2: quietly living in for a while in Sydney, southerland Shire
- 3:02Speaker 2: for a little bit, like he just kind of loves Australia.
- 3:05Speaker 2: So basically he's bought this one hundred and twenty eight
- 3:07Speaker 2: hectare block of rainforest land in the Tweed Valley, which,
- 3:10Speaker 2: if you don't know, is like an hour inland from Byron,
- 3:13Speaker 2: and he's personally supervising the construction of this new house
- 3:16Speaker 2: called the Future Cave. Now it's off grid, self sustaining,
- 3:19Speaker 2: zero waste, covered in plant ecosystems that are designed to
- 3:23Speaker 2: support animals and insects that also live on the property,
- 3:26Speaker 2: and it's going to be built using experimental hemp blocks
- 3:29Speaker 2: and recycled oyster shells.
- 3:31Speaker 3: So you're just going to be somewhat slightly blazed every
- 3:36Speaker 3: every time you're inside his hope it's not in a
- 3:38Speaker 3: bushfire zone.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Oh yeah, imagine that.
- 3:41Speaker 3: But i'd get stones trying to put it out.
- 3:43Speaker 2: It's going to cost two point sixty five million to build.
- 3:45Speaker 2: And by the way, apparently after he builds this, because
- 3:47Speaker 2: he's already listed his La mansion, he's planning on moving
- 3:50Speaker 2: here for good. You know.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Apparently that hemp is not the same hemp that people know.
- 3:55Speaker 1: You can't get.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Isn't it happy high herbs? Is that hemp?
- 3:59Speaker 1: I don't know, it's just different.
- 4:00Speaker 3: I remember I had pants that we made out of hair,
- 4:03Speaker 3: and my old man was like, we did roll him
- 4:04Speaker 3: up and smoke him, cut you in your bedroom and
- 4:07Speaker 3: night him up.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Why were you wearing hemp pants? Was this in the
- 4:11Speaker 2: same ERAa you had Michael, my grungy up.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Okay, let me try to move on.
