- 5:26Earth's core is literally leaking gold. While
- 5:30most of the planet's precious metals lie hundreds
- 5:33of miles beneath the surface, Scientists have
- 5:36discovered a particular isotope of ruthenium
- 5:39in volcanic rock samples. This indicates that
- 5:43precious metals are oozing from the core into
- 5:46the mantle, which comprises 84 % of Earth's volume.
- 5:51Researchers developed new procedures to detect
- 5:54microscopic markers, confirming that material
- 5:57from the core is rising to the surface. This
- 6:00research supports geological theories about oceanic
- 6:04islands and opens up a new perspective on Earth's
- 6:07inner dynamics. In business news, major automakers
- 6:14are urgently seeking solutions to China's control
- 6:17over rare earth magnets, which could threaten
- 6:20their production lines. With fears of imminent
- 6:23shutdowns, companies are exploring options like
- 6:26relocating parts manufacturing to China. or shipping
- 6:29motors there for magnet installation. China recently
- 6:33mandated export permits for these critical materials,
- 6:37which are essential for electric vehicle motors
- 6:39and other automotive functions. Automakers are
- 6:43also looking for alternative sources in Europe
- 6:46and Asia, but these may not meet current demand.
- 6:49Without immediate action, production delays and
- 6:52shutdowns could become a reality for the industry.
- 6:56In crypto movement, Bitcoin is unchanged at about
- 7:01$106 ,000. Ethereum is up 1 % to just over $2
- 7:07,600. And Goatseys Maximus is down 2 % to $0
- 7:13.12. Moving on to a more local vibe. In our community

- 8:00now, back to the show. Let's talk science. A
- 8:04captivating new study suggests that human intelligence
- 8:08may have roots in gravitational waves. First
- 8:12detected in 2015, these waves play a crucial
- 8:15role in life on Earth. The study highlights how
- 8:19gravitational waves from binary neutron star
- 8:22collisions ejected heavy elements essential for
- 8:25forming Earth's molten core. This process not
- 8:29only created our planet's magnetosphere, but
- 8:32also initiated plate tectonics, enabling evolution.
- 8:36Lead author Bernard Schutz explains that these
- 8:39explosions are responsible for the elements that
- 8:42shaped life. As scientists advance detection
- 8:45tools, they aim to explore the cosmic connections
- 8:48that lead to our existence. and in entertainment
- 8:54news. The sixth installment in the Karate Kid
- 8:58franchise, Karate Kid Legends, has officially
- 9:02premiered, although critics have mixed feelings.
- 9:05Despite this, fans are enjoying the film, which
- 9:08features beloved characters like Jackie Chan
- 9:11as Mr. Han and Ralph Macchio as Daniel LaRusso,
- 9:15alongside new student Ben Wang as Lai Fong. Director
- 9:21Jonathan Entwistle emphasized that this movie
- 9:24is not a Cobra Kai film, but rather a continuation
- 9:28within the Karate Kid universe. While a post
- 9:32-credits scene includes Johnny Lawrence, watching
- 9:35Cobra Kai is not necessary. However, the series
- 9:40remains wildly entertaining and worth the watch.
- 9:44Well, alrighty folks, it's time for the quote
