- 0:00Speaker 1: It's too early for what. It's too early for this.
- 0:05Speaker 1: Still haven't gotten over this gotten over well, So we
- 0:09Speaker 1: went to go on holiday. You know, we've had a
- 0:13Speaker 1: couple of weeks off and my family was getting ready
- 0:16Speaker 1: to go to Exmouth, as we talked about yesterday, and
- 0:20Speaker 1: so just the week before they head off, I take
- 0:26Speaker 1: the car in for a service, get it fully done,
- 0:29Speaker 1: everything all nice and safe. Because it's a long drive
- 0:31Speaker 1: up there. I flew were well, No, I wanted to
- 0:35Speaker 1: make sure they were safe. Sure, I thank you. I
- 0:37Speaker 1: flew yeah. It took me ninety minutes, got a nice
- 0:40Speaker 1: piece of pizza and a little glass of red ninety minutes.
- 0:43Speaker 1: What did you take the concord? No? To liamonth and
- 0:45Speaker 1: it took longer than no. Normally, normally it takes an
- 0:49Speaker 1: hour and fifty minutes, that's what they allow for. But
- 0:50Speaker 1: we had good weather. We had no winds to blow
- 0:53Speaker 1: us off course or anything like that. So we were
- 0:55Speaker 1: there and about just over well like ninety something minutes.
- 0:59Speaker 1: I meant it was less than the schedule time. It
- 1:02Speaker 1: was a double demerits reckon. Your pilot would have got pinned.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Go on, Larry, the lead foot is up the front anyway,
- 1:10Speaker 1: So but I wanted to make sure that everything was good,
- 1:14Speaker 1: of course. So anyway, so the day, it was about
- 1:20Speaker 1: thirty six hours before they took off, it was my
- 1:22Speaker 1: wife was driving home on the freeway on the day,
- 1:29Speaker 1: you know, sort of that she'd finished work, she'd just
- 1:32Speaker 1: cleaned up the desk, all that sort of stuff, coming
- 1:34Speaker 1: along in the on the freeway. Traffic is at a standstill,
- 1:38Speaker 1: and this clown in one of those four wheel drives
- 1:42Speaker 1: comes weaving through the traffic and takes out hits her
- 1:47Speaker 1: on the front of the car and didn't stop, didn't stop,
- 1:52Speaker 1: didn't stop, and then she swears that he kept weaving
- 1:56Speaker 1: in traffic and probably hit another couple of cars a
- 1:59Speaker 1: little bit further. Yeah. Absolutely, So we're about to you know,
- 2:05Speaker 1: well not me, She's about to drive up to up
- 2:08Speaker 1: to Exmouth and I'm you know, I could see the
- 2:11Speaker 1: panel damage and I was like, oh, we can live
- 2:13Speaker 1: with that, Yeah, but I want to make sure because
- 2:15Speaker 1: we just had the wheel alignment that sort of stuff.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Is there any damage to the suspension to you know,
- 2:23Speaker 1: all that kind of thing. You won't want to find out,
- 2:26Speaker 1: And it's like you've got one day to do it. Yeah,
- 2:30Speaker 1: So anyway, So as much as I love the guys
- 2:34Speaker 1: at Automasters, I did have to take it to Patters
- 2:37Speaker 1: quickly and shout out to them, you know, because they
- 2:42Speaker 1: actually did a bit of a check and the clear
- 2:45Speaker 1: so she was able to go. But you know, these
- 2:49Speaker 1: clowns on the road any camera, No, we don't have
- 2:55Speaker 1: a dash cam on that car, but they've got CCTV
- 2:59Speaker 1: every there on freeway, so surely anyway, we did put
- 3:03Speaker 1: a police report, yes, but yeah, so anyway, but thankfully
- 3:08Speaker 1: because I was up first thing on Friday morning to
- 3:10Speaker 1: go and you know, find someone that would be able
- 3:14Speaker 1: to fit us in. I would totally understand people who
- 3:17Speaker 1: said that, you know, we can't fit you in because
- 3:19Speaker 1: we're full today. I don't know. I know you have
- 3:25Speaker 1: a thing about rangers. I don't actually think it was
- 3:29Speaker 1: Look you know what they say, it's it's not all rageousous, yea. Anyway,
- 3:35Speaker 1: so I got it in to go and have a
- 3:37Speaker 1: look at it, and that just took a whole lot
- 3:39Speaker 1: of pressure off me. Yeah. I started walking around Osbond
- 3:43Speaker 1: Park for you know a couple of hours while I waited,
- 3:46Speaker 1: and yeah, because you don't want that call. Where about
- 3:49Speaker 1: thirty minutes past Shark Bay. That's right, you're going to
- 3:52Speaker 1: have to come to get it, yeah, exactly. So that
- 3:55Speaker 1: that was just too early for that, too early for that,
- 4:00Speaker 1: and a little bit too late for that too when
- 4:01Speaker 1: you think about the fact that you're hitting the road
- 4:03Speaker 1: about twenty four hours later. That was horrible anyway. So
- 4:07Speaker 1: but all good in the end, and now we've just
- 4:11Speaker 1: got to hope that everything's all good for the drive home.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Oh they're still there. They're still there. Okay, yeah, Oh
- 4:17Speaker 1: because school holidays. School holidays are still on. So the
- 4:21Speaker 1: weather's nice and warm up there. And heard about it
- 4:25Speaker 1: all yesterday. Rubbing it in, thanks very much, zoom call. Yes,
- 4:31Speaker 1: look at my tad. Yes, beer in hand, just been
- 4:36Speaker 1: to the beach in the other Shut up, stop calling me.
- 4:40Speaker 1: I love your family, but don't rub it in.
