Mega Edition: Epstein, Maxwell And Their Exploitation Of The Socioeconomic Divide (10/6/26) · The Epstein Chronicles

• 0:00
Speaker 1: Up everyone and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. Ever
• 0:05
Speaker 1: since the United States Virgin Islands stuck their beak into
• 0:09
Speaker 1: the Jeffrey Epstein situation, I've told you that more than
• 0:13
Speaker 1: one of the politicians in the USVI was on the take. Well,
• 0:18
Speaker 1: Denise George, the fired Attorney General, she has given her
• 0:22
Speaker 1: deposition and she has now confirmed everything that I've been
• 0:26
Speaker 1: telling you for years. So, Let's just dive right into
• 0:30
Speaker 1: this article from the Virgin Islands Consortium and let's get busy. Headline,
• 0:36
Speaker 1: Power Play, Governor Brian Epstein and the now-fired Attorney General's
• 0:41
Speaker 1: unsealed revelations. This article was authored by Janika Simon. And
• 0:48
Speaker 1: to all the jerk-offs in the legacy media who are
• 0:51
Speaker 1: just catching up, you're welcome. For years, we've been telling
• 0:54
Speaker 1: you this. You've ignored it. And the funniest part is
• 0:57
Speaker 1: you're going to see outlets like the New York Times
• 1:00
Speaker 1: and the Washington Post take a victory lap like they're
• 1:03
Speaker 1: the ones who broke this story. It is absolutely hilarious
• 1:07
Speaker 1: to see the way the legacy media conducts themselves. Meanwhile,
• 1:11
Speaker 1: we've all known that this shit was going on for years.
• 1:14
Speaker 1: Now it's some big revelation. In the wake of the
• 1:17
Speaker 1: startling revelations concerning Governor Albert Bryan's alleged interferences on behalf
• 1:23
Speaker 1: of Jeffrey Epstein, New Light, through recently unredacted court documents,
• 1:28
Speaker 1: has been shed on the inner workings of the U.S.
• 1:31
Speaker 1: Virgin Islands government and its dealings with the controversial financier.
• 1:37
Speaker 1: Former Attorney General Denise George's recent deposition has provided a
• 1:42
Speaker 1: deep dive into Brian's purported communications regarding Epstein, revealing pressure
• 1:48
Speaker 1: for certain waivers concerning his sex offender status. Imagine that?
• 1:53
Speaker 1: This dude is not somebody who committed a blue-collar crime
• 1:57
Speaker 1: or a white-collar crime or something you can forgive. This
• 2:01
Speaker 1: guy was running a trafficking operation that preyed on vulnerable
• 2:04
Speaker 1: girls and women. And you have the governor down here
• 2:07
Speaker 1: in the U.S. Virgin Islands giving him all kinds of
• 2:10
Speaker 1: favors and all kinds of scratching of the back only
• 2:13
Speaker 1: to flip the script a few years later and then
• 2:16
Speaker 1: act like they're the ones who are being victimized. It's
• 2:19
Speaker 1: been absurd from the beginning and it remains absurd. Anyone
• 2:24
Speaker 1: who looks at this and thinks that the U.S. Virgin
• 2:26
Speaker 1: Islands should be getting any sort of compensation needs to
• 2:30
Speaker 1: give their head a shake. The USVI was in on
• 2:33
Speaker 1: it the whole entire time. And I don't mean the
• 2:35
Speaker 1: people of the USVI, of course. I mean their corrupt-ass politicians. Concurrently,
• 2:42
Speaker 1: the decisions made by past Attorney General Vincent Frazier have
• 2:46
Speaker 1: been scrutinized, questioning the motives and reasons behind granting of
• 2:51
Speaker 1: these waivers to Epstein. Journalists have now turned their focus
• 2:56
Speaker 1: on the unsealed documents, unveiling a labyrinth of connections and implications.
• 3:01
Speaker 1: And not for nothing, but if these journalists would have
• 3:04
Speaker 1: just been listening to the podcast for all of these years,
• 3:06
Speaker 1: they would have been hip to this a long time ago.
• 3:09
Speaker 1: And they could have exposed this a long time ago.
• 3:13
Speaker 1: Each exhibit adds some detail to the picture each side
• 3:17
Speaker 1: in the lawsuit is painting about the other. The legal
• 3:20
Speaker 1: team for the Virgin Islands has been promulgating the narrative
• 3:24
Speaker 1: of a bank that cared more about convicted sex offender
• 3:28
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein's monetary value than about ensuring their institution was
• 3:33
Speaker 1: not used to further Epstein's criminal acts. On the other hand, J.P.
• 3:38
Speaker 1: Morgan continues to argue that the legal power to identify
• 3:42
Speaker 1: and interrupt Epstein's criminality rested with the authorities in the USVI,
• 3:48
Speaker 1: who were largely compromised by a targeted influence campaign. directed
• 3:52
Speaker 1: chiefly by former First Lady Cecile de Jong. And even
• 3:57
Speaker 1: knowing that, do you think that the U.S. Virgin Islands
• 4:00
Speaker 1: should have had any bit of compensation coming their way?
• 4:03
Speaker 1: And how the hell did the lawyers for the survivors
• 4:06
Speaker 1: let this go down? You don't say to your client, hey, look,
• 4:09
Speaker 1: the U.S. Virgin Islands is culpable here, too. Let's go
• 4:12
Speaker 1: after them. Let's nail them. Because from my seat here
• 4:15
Speaker 1: in the peanut gallery, it seems like they are ripe
• 4:18
Speaker 1: for the picking. Depositions given last month by former Attorney
• 4:23
Speaker 1: General Denise George have recently come to light, lending more
• 4:27
Speaker 1: credence to those assertions. Over the course of two sessions,
• 4:31
Speaker 1: the attorney fired in December of 2022 by Governor Albert
• 4:35
Speaker 1: Bryan said that the governor himself had asked her to
• 4:39
Speaker 1: consider Epstein's request to waive certain requirements attached to his
• 4:44
Speaker 1: sex offender status. Now, if you're a juror and you
• 4:47
Speaker 1: hear that, are you going to rule in the favor
• 4:49
Speaker 1: of the survivors if they sue the U.S. Virgin Islands?
• 4:53
  Speaker 1: I know I am. 100% without a doubt, I would
• 4:56
Speaker 1: find in the favor of the plaintiff if these were
• 5:00
Speaker 1: the facts that were presented to me as a juror.
• 5:03
Speaker 1: So the U.S. Virgin Islands is really in some dangerous
• 5:06
Speaker 1: territory here, and their greed might come back to slap
• 5:10
Speaker 1: them because they might end up paying out more than
• 5:13
Speaker 1: they take in. On July 17th, as Ms. George sat
• 5:17
Speaker 1: for the first session in her deposition, she noted that
• 5:20
Speaker 1: Governor Bryan had contacted her directly to alert her to
• 5:25
Speaker 1: an incoming request from Jeffrey Epstein to waive some of
• 5:28
Speaker 1: the conditions of his sex offender registration. He just brought
• 5:32
Speaker 1: it to my attention that this is what Jeffrey Epstein wants,
• 5:36
Speaker 1: and I can expect a call from his attorney. The
• 5:39
Speaker 1: former Attorney General testified. He expressed his position, but he
• 5:43
Speaker 1: asked me not to make a decision, but didn't tell
• 5:46
Speaker 1: me what that decision was, she continued. Of course, like
• 5:49
Speaker 1: a good politician, he just infers, oh, this is what
• 5:53
Speaker 1: I think should happen. And then let's, you know, the
• 5:56
Speaker 1: attorney general go off and do what the attorney general
• 5:59
Speaker 1: is going to do. Further questions about what the governor
• 6:02
Speaker 1: expressed positions were Blunted by attorney David Ackerman, one of
• 6:07
Speaker 1: the lead attorneys for the USVI, who raised executive privilege concerns.
• 6:12
Speaker 1: They understand the USVI and their lawyers. They understand that
• 6:16
Speaker 1: they are exposed here and their quest for securing another
• 6:21
Speaker 1: bag might really come back and haunt them. Ms. George
• 6:25
Speaker 1: recounted how, upon assuming office in 2019, she began looking
• 6:29
Speaker 1: into horrific allegations that were swirling around what was going
• 6:34
Speaker 1: on at Little St. James, Epstein's private island that had
• 6:39
Speaker 1: been by then nicknamed Pedophile Island, according to her. I
• 6:43
Speaker 1: inquired to see if there were any complaints that came in.
• 6:47
Speaker 1: I inquired to VIPD. I inquired our office to find
• 6:52
Speaker 1: out what, if any, complaints or anything came into the office, Ms.
• 6:56
Speaker 1: George said, as she expressed her discomfort with the nature
• 7:00
Speaker 1: of the allegations that were circling. How the hell could
• 7:04
Speaker 1: you not be uncomfortable? Imagine being a general attorney, the
• 7:08
Speaker 1: district attorney, and hearing about this in your district and
• 7:12
Speaker 1: not arresting everybody involved. Forget it. It would be my
• 7:16
Speaker 1: life's goal. If I was a district attorney and this
• 7:19
Speaker 1: case came across my desk, every single person involved would
• 7:23
Speaker 1: be brought in and I would hit them all with
• 7:25
Speaker 1: predicates of Rico and see what comes of it. Oh, okay.
• 7:29
Speaker 1: Let's see who rats on who. And you know how
• 7:31
Speaker 1: you do that? Oh, I'll tell you how you do
• 7:33
Speaker 1: it with guaranteed jail sentences. And you know how you
• 7:36
Speaker 1: get there? Well, Rico, that's how you get there. That's
• 7:41
Speaker 1: the first thing that I did. and I found out
• 7:43
Speaker 1: that there was nothing. Everything I got back was they
• 7:47
Speaker 1: didn't have any record of anything. Ms. George disclosed, noting
• 7:52
Speaker 1: the lack of formal complaints, either at the V.I. Department
• 7:55
Speaker 1: of Justice or the police department, did not deter her
• 7:58
Speaker 1: from reading all the media reports about Epstein's alleged activities
• 8:03
Speaker 1: to see if she could find an information source or
• 8:06
Speaker 1: official complaints that were actionable. However, once she figured out
• 8:12
Speaker 1: that there was a federal investigation likely being conducted, she
• 8:16
Speaker 1: backed off. It pleased me to see that something was
• 8:19
Speaker 1: being done with law enforcement organization that had the resources
• 8:23
Speaker 1: to be able to do it. That is a cop out.
• 8:26
Speaker 1: She didn't have one single indictment handed down to anybody
• 8:30
Speaker 1: in the USVI. So I'm happy that Denise George is
• 8:34
Speaker 1: giving us this information. But remember, she was in a
• 8:36
Speaker 1: position where she could have indicted whoever she wanted, but
• 8:41
Speaker 1: she didn't do it. Instead, she brought a SECO suit.
• 8:45
Speaker 1: Days later, during her second deposition session on July 20th, Ms.
• 8:49
Speaker 1: George went into more detail about the communication between Governor
• 8:53
Speaker 1: Bryan and his newly appointed Attorney General. According to Ms. George,
• 8:58
Speaker 1: the governor informed her that Epstein wanted a waiver of
• 9:01
Speaker 1: his travel requirements and, in her words, encouraged to meet
• 9:05
Speaker 1: me with the attorneys to consider it. Oh yeah, come
• 9:09
Speaker 1: and meet my attorneys so you can get this bag.
• 9:12
Speaker 1: Come meet with my boy, Darren Indyke, so you can
• 9:15
Speaker 1: get a fat bag, Denise George. Now, obviously, Denise George
• 9:19
Speaker 1: is not somebody who I feel is corrupt, per se,
• 9:22
Speaker 1: and certainly not somebody who I feel was in Epstein's pocket.
• 9:26
Speaker 1: I just feel like she was negligent, whether it's due
• 9:28
Speaker 1: to pressure from Brian or just her not wanting to
• 9:32
Speaker 1: rock the boat when it comes to handing out criminal
• 9:35
Speaker 1: referrals to Jeffrey Epstein's homies down in the Virgin Islands. Ms.
• 9:40
Speaker 1: George explained that her predecessor, Acting Attorney General General Carol
• 9:45
Speaker 1: Thomas Jacobs, had essentially reversed the original waiver granted to
• 9:50
Speaker 1: Epstein by former Attorney General Vincent Frazier. Epstein, Ms. George explained,
• 9:55
Speaker 1: wanted a reinstatement of the waiver that Attorney Vincent Frazier
• 9:59
Speaker 1: had entered years ago, and I suppose a revocation of
• 10:03
Speaker 1: what Thomas Jacobs did. However, neither Thomas Jacobs nor George
• 10:08
Speaker 1: felt that the request for a waiver was supported by
• 10:11
Speaker 1: a legitimate rationale. During the second deposition, Ms. George said
• 10:16
Speaker 1: that after looking at Epstein's file, based on what was
• 10:19
Speaker 1: in there, I saw nothing that convinced me that there
• 10:22
Speaker 1: was any reasonable or reliable proof, nothing satisfied me, that
• 10:26
Speaker 1: would have warranted or justified any waiver. Well, that's good.
• 10:30
Speaker 1: At least Denise George was doing her job as the
• 10:33
Speaker 1: Attorney General of the island. In her deposition, Ms. Thomas
• 10:37
Speaker 1: Jacobs spoke about how she had reversed the decision made
• 10:41
Speaker 1: by her predecessor, Mr. Frazier. Attorney General Frazier had granted Mr.
• 10:46
Speaker 1: Epstein a waiver of certain requirements. After I reviewed, I
• 10:50
Speaker 1: decided to modify that waiver. Upon my review, I did
• 10:54
Speaker 1: not see anything in the file to support the waiver.
• 10:57
Speaker 1: She noted, saying that she was concerned about the adequacy
• 11:01
Speaker 1: of the loosened requirements. Although the Attorney General does have
• 11:06
Speaker 1: the authority to modify or waive requirements for sex offenders... Ms.
• 11:11
Speaker 1: Thomas Jacobs said she was surprised by Mr. Frazier's decision.
• 11:15
Speaker 1: For me, the better course would have been to have
• 11:18
Speaker 1: him comply as strictly as possible to the statute, she said.
• 11:22
Speaker 1: So they're admitting here that Frazier gave Epstein the homie hookup.
• 11:26
Speaker 1: What more do you need as one of the survivors
• 11:29
Speaker 1: than that? I'm telling you right now, any judge in
• 11:32
Speaker 1: the nation is going to take a good hard look
• 11:34
Speaker 1: at a suit filed by survivors against the U.S. Virgin Islands. Hello,
• 11:39
Speaker 1: it is... During her session, Ms. George concluded that Epstein
• 11:44
Speaker 1: was trying to use political influence that he may have
• 11:47
Speaker 1: had with the governor in order to boost or help
• 11:50
Speaker 1: me to rule favorably. Not every sexual offender or any
• 11:54
Speaker 1: person you know are in the position to have the
• 11:57
Speaker 1: governor make the request to the attorney general rather than
• 12:01
Speaker 1: just coming in and making it on their own directly.
• 12:05
Speaker 1: That influence did not just result in one outreach from
• 12:09
Speaker 1: Governor Bryan. Ms. George disclosed that he contacted her a
• 12:13
Speaker 1: second time about Epstein's request to waive reporting requirements connected
• 12:18
Speaker 1: to his travel. There was the subsequent reminder coming from
• 12:23
Speaker 1: the governor, not by Attorney Kellerhals and not by Jeffrey Epstein,
• 12:27
Speaker 1: but coming from the governor to remind me that I
• 12:30
Speaker 1: have to make or need to make a decision on Epstein.
• 12:34
Speaker 1: Those two interactions, said Ms. George, were proof that Epstein
• 12:38
Speaker 1: was flexing his political influence over or with the governor
• 12:42
Speaker 1: in an effort to get a favorable result. It's over, folks.
• 12:46
Speaker 1: It's a wrap for the USVI. The lawsuit just needs
• 12:49
Speaker 1: to be filed. That effort, she declared, was doomed to fail.
• 12:53
Speaker 1: My position was just to make sure that he knows
• 12:56
Speaker 1: that is not happening. I would not be part of that.
• 12:59
Speaker 1: In response to a question about whether she believed Governor
• 13:02
Speaker 1: Bryant Acted improperly by making these overtures? Ms. George simply responded,
• 13:08
Speaker 1: I do. As to elaborate, she said that the outreach
• 13:12
Speaker 1: did not sit right with me. Not only was Governor
• 13:15
Speaker 1: Bryan getting personally involved in a law enforcement matter, he
• 13:18
Speaker 1: was doing so on behalf of a convicted sex offender,
• 13:22
Speaker 1: a child predator, that was definitely troubling to me. But
• 13:26
Speaker 1: the problem for Denise George here is nobody went to jail.
• 13:29
Speaker 1: She was in a unique position to bring charges against
• 13:32
Speaker 1: anybody she wanted, and she didn't do so. Ms. George
• 13:36
Speaker 1: said that she did not act upon Governor Bryan's reporting,
• 13:40
Speaker 1: but waited until Epstein's request came via the proper channels,
• 13:44
Speaker 1: his attorney, and then responded. She also responded to Governor Bryan,
• 13:49
Speaker 1: informing him of laws surrounding the reporting requirements and also
• 13:54
Speaker 1: that she would not be able to consider any waiver
• 13:57
Speaker 1: of those requirements without sufficient proof being provided of the
• 14:01
Speaker 1: necessity of the waiver. I also indicated to him the
• 14:05
Speaker 1: reason or the purpose behind the statute, and that it's
• 14:09
Speaker 1: there to protect the community, Ms. George said. I felt
• 14:13
Speaker 1: that he needed an understanding as to the importance and
• 14:16
Speaker 1: the magnitude of that requirement. So the dude's the governor,
• 14:20
Speaker 1: but he doesn't understand why that requirement's in the statute? Okay,
• 14:24
Speaker 1: I guess. I mean, if that's the guy you want
• 14:27
Speaker 1: in control of the island, then hey, go on with
• 14:29
Speaker 1: your bad selves. Governor Bryan responded to that missive by
• 14:34
Speaker 1: thanking her for her working on the matter, she noted,
• 14:37
Speaker 1: marking the end of their interactions over Jeffrey Epstein. until
• 14:41
Speaker 1: she was fired on New Year's Eve. Asked whether she
• 14:45
Speaker 1: believed that her position with respect to Epstein's waiver request
• 14:49
Speaker 1: impacted her standing with the governor, Ms. George responded, it's likely.
• 14:54
Speaker 1: So look, there's no doubt, folks, that the U.S. Virgin
• 14:57
Speaker 1: Islands was negligible. There's no doubt that they have responsibility here.
• 15:03
Speaker 1: And this is exactly why I was so upset when
• 15:07
Speaker 1: they got that settlement in the first place. This is
• 15:09
Speaker 1: all the stuff I was telling you back then and
• 15:12
Speaker 1: explaining to you why I was mad they got a settlement.
• 15:15
Speaker 1: And now you don't have my word to take for it.
• 15:18
Speaker 1: You can just listen to what Denise George has to say.
• 15:21
Speaker 1: All right, folks, that's going to do it for this one.
• 15:24
Speaker 1: All of the information that goes with this episode can
• 15:26
Speaker 1: be found in the description box. Everyone and welcome back
• 15:30
Speaker 1: to the Epstein Chronicles. Today is the 14th day of
• 15:35
Speaker 1: the Ghislaine Maxwell trial. And we are kind of in
• 15:38
Speaker 1: a holding pattern as we await on the defense to
• 15:42
Speaker 1: begin making their case starting Thursday. So what we're going
• 15:46
Speaker 1: to do is continue to fill in some of those blanks. Now,
• 15:52
Speaker 1: when we talk about Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, you
• 15:56
Speaker 1: cannot talk about these people without talking about how they
• 16:01
Speaker 1: used class warfare, basically, on poor people. Now, when I
• 16:06
Speaker 1: say that, I mean, they chose people who came from
• 16:11
Speaker 1: poor and broken homes, people who only had one parent
• 16:14
Speaker 1: in their home, people who have been abused, whatever it
• 16:18
Speaker 1: may be. These were the people that Jeffrey Epstein and
• 16:22
Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell targeted on a daily basis. And when you
• 16:27
Speaker 1: look at one of their main centers of operation, which
• 16:31
Speaker 1: was Palm Beach, the discrepancy between wealth a mere five
• 16:37
Speaker 1: or six miles away between West Palm Beach and Palm
• 16:41
Speaker 1: Beach is mind-boggling. Now, I live in Las Vegas, so
• 16:48
Speaker 1: I see this all the time. You live in a
• 16:52
Speaker 1: place like Las Vegas, and you look at Las Vegas Boulevard,
• 16:56
Speaker 1: all of the money, all of the wealth, all of
• 16:59
Speaker 1: the prestige. You take a quick drive two miles east,
• 17:04
Speaker 1: one mile east, into East Las Vegas, into Central Las Vegas,
• 17:09
Speaker 1: and you see right away how different of a story
• 17:12
Speaker 1: it is. Homeless camps, people struggling, you know, daily, weekly apartments,
• 17:22
Speaker 1: the whole flip. And you can see how there's almost
• 17:29
Speaker 1: an invisible line from where the wealth ends and the
• 17:33
Speaker 1: misery begins. And I'm sure most of you, wherever you're from,
• 17:38
Speaker 1: if you're from a big city, you have areas like
• 17:40
Speaker 1: this as well. I watched a documentary about kids in
• 17:45
Speaker 1: Orange County, California, and it broke my heart. These kids
• 17:49
Speaker 1: lived across the street from Disneyland in these hotels. And
• 17:53
Speaker 1: obviously their parents never had the money to bring them
• 17:56
Speaker 1: to Disneyland. So these kids every night would watch the fireworks,
• 18:01
Speaker 1: go over into the parking lots, hang out in the
• 18:03
Speaker 1: parking garage. but they never had a chance to actually
• 18:06
Speaker 1: go into the park. And it's just, it's a microcosm
• 18:13
Speaker 1: of how society is in general at this point. There
• 18:17
Speaker 1: are those who have, and then there's the rest of us.
• 18:22
Speaker 1: And when I talk about the discrepancy in wealth, I'm
• 18:25
Speaker 1: not talking about, you know, your buddy Joe who went
• 18:28
Speaker 1: to school and worked his way up and earning a
• 18:32
Speaker 1: great living now. I'm talking about generational wealth. I'm talking
• 18:36
Speaker 1: about wealth that most of us will never even be
• 18:39
Speaker 1: able to comprehend. And that's the kind of wealth that
• 18:43
Speaker 1: Maxwell and Epstein came from. Maxwell especially. Epstein by proxy,
• 18:49
Speaker 1: but Maxwell was born into this. Her father, Robert Maxwell,
• 18:55
Speaker 1: super rich guy. What do you think? They were sitting
• 18:58
Speaker 1: around talking well of poor people? Of course they weren't. So,
• 19:03
Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell has always been one of these upper crust
• 19:07
Speaker 1: types who looks down her nose at the rest of us.
• 19:10
Speaker 1: And all you have to do, again, is listen to
• 19:12
Speaker 1: the survivors themselves. Cut out the middlemen. You really need
• 19:16
Speaker 1: some jerk-off from the New York Times to tell you
• 19:19
Speaker 1: the deal when the survivors are telling you the story themselves?
• 19:23
Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell had a pretty shitty opinion of people who
• 19:27
Speaker 1: were poor. Ghislaine Maxwell... According to all of these allegations
• 19:32
Speaker 1: and to what a lot of these survivors have said,
• 19:36
Speaker 1: had nothing good to say about people who were poor.
• 19:39
Speaker 1: And when you add all of that up and you
• 19:41
Speaker 1: look at the people that they targeted, it's rather obvious
• 19:46
Speaker 1: what was going on here. It's rather obvious. that Glenn
• 19:50
Speaker 1: Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein weren't doing this on a whim
• 19:56
Speaker 1: this was planned out this was plotted out and we
• 19:59
Speaker 1: go back to New Mexico once again because it's the
• 20:01
Speaker 1: elephant in the room he chose New Mexico for a
• 20:06
Speaker 1: reason he knew that he could take these girls there
• 20:09
Speaker 1: And look at little penalty. Little to no penalty, in fact.
• 20:13
Speaker 1: For abusing them. Oh, well, 16 is the age of consent.
• 20:17
Speaker 1: They consented. Says you. And of course, who was brought
• 20:25
Speaker 1: to Zorro Ranch? Who was brought to the Manhattan townhouse?
• 20:28
Speaker 1: Who was brought down to Palm Beach? Or the Virgin Islands?
• 20:32
Speaker 1: Girls from broken homes. Girls who were poor. And girls
• 20:36
Speaker 1: that Maxwell and Epstein looked at as less than. And
• 20:40
Speaker 1: that's just the fact of the situation. That's how they
• 20:43
Speaker 1: looked at people, looked at us, everybody. But these girls specifically,
• 20:48
Speaker 1: there were nothing more to them than a thing to
• 20:52
Speaker 1: be traded, a commodity. And we all know that that's
• 20:57
Speaker 1: not how things should be. No human being should ever
• 21:00
Speaker 1: be put into any kind of servitude or thought that
• 21:02
Speaker 1: they have to use their body to get by. That's
• 21:09
Speaker 1: not how this is supposed to work. And then the
• 21:12
Speaker 1: fact that this guy and Maxwell and the rest of
• 21:15
Speaker 1: these scumbags got away with it for so long with
• 21:17
Speaker 1: so many girls coming out and telling their story is
• 21:21
Speaker 1: just beyond the pale. But when you look at the
• 21:24
Speaker 1: overall picture here, and you look at the M.O. between
• 21:30
Speaker 1: Epstein and Maxwell and their criminal enterprise, it was always
• 21:34
Speaker 1: the same kind of girls who were targeted, poor and
• 21:37
Speaker 1: from the other side of the tracks. This morning, we're
• 21:42
Speaker 1: going to touch on an article from Financial Times that
• 21:46
Speaker 1: kind of goes into this a little bit, and we're
• 21:49
Speaker 1: going to see what they have to say about it.
• 22:07
Speaker 1: This article was authored by Joshua Chauvin. On the eighth
• 22:15
Speaker 1: day of the government's sex trafficking case against Ghislaine Maxwell,
• 22:18
Speaker 1: a prosecutor asked a witness known as Sean what the
• 22:21
Speaker 1: difference was between Palm Beach and West Palm Beach, two
• 22:25
Speaker 1: Florida towns separated by a drawbridge. Money's no object over there,
• 22:30
Speaker 1: said Sean, a West Palm Beach native, sounding as though
• 22:33
Speaker 1: the nearby island were a different planet. Growing up, he
• 22:36
Speaker 1: told the jury, he had very rarely even ventured into
• 22:39
Speaker 1: Palm Beach because I didn't have enough money to buy
• 22:43
Speaker 1: anything in the gas station. That changed, he said, when
• 22:47
Speaker 1: he began ferrying his 14-year-old girlfriend to the island to
• 22:51
Speaker 1: provide sexualized massages for Jeffrey Epstein. Soon, they were struggling
• 22:56
Speaker 1: to find a store to change the bills in West
• 22:58
Speaker 1: Palm Beach, where they don't accept $ 100 bills, Sean explained.
• 23:03
Speaker 1: That's something you'll see in a lot of poor neighborhoods
• 23:06
Speaker 1: for sure. The fact that they're not going to accept
• 23:09
Speaker 1: those $ 100 bills. You better come with something smaller for sure.
• 23:15
Speaker 1: And according to Sean, he went from not being able
• 23:19
Speaker 1: to afford anything in the gas station to having all
• 23:23
Speaker 1: these $ 100 bills after bringing Carolyn, his girlfriend, over for
• 23:30
Speaker 1: sexualized massages at Jeffrey Epstein's house. Classes threaded throughout the
• 23:39
Speaker 1: Epstein story. Maxwell, an Oxford-educated product of fee-paying British public schools,
• 23:45
Speaker 1: used hers to smooth the social path of the Coney
• 23:48
Speaker 1: Island-born Epstein when they joined forces in the early 1990s Manhattan. Now,
• 23:54
Speaker 1: class is present in Maxwell's criminal trial too. It loomed
• 23:59
Speaker 1: as witnesses recounted over the last two weeks how a
• 24:02
Speaker 1: tall British woman, with what one called a proper English accent,
• 24:07
Speaker 1: lured them when they were young and poor into a
• 24:10
Speaker 1: world beyond their imagination. So you get the idea here
• 24:14
Speaker 1: where he's going in the article. And the fact of
• 24:18
Speaker 1: the matter is this is exactly what happened. Jeffrey Epstein
• 24:22
Speaker 1: and Ghislaine Maxwell chose these young girls from these broken
• 24:26
Speaker 1: homes because they knew that they'd be able to get
• 24:29
Speaker 1: away with it or that it would be more likely
• 24:32
Speaker 1: that they'd be able to get away with it. So
• 24:37
Speaker 1: They went on their spree. And you want to talk
• 24:40
Speaker 1: about the early 90s, we can go back a little
• 24:42
Speaker 1: bit earlier even. Jeffrey Epstein, look, this isn't something that
• 24:47
Speaker 1: just happens overnight. You don't wake up one morning and
• 24:51
Speaker 1: have a broken brain like this dude and think trafficking
• 24:55
Speaker 1: little girls is a good idea. You came off the
• 24:58
Speaker 1: assembly line fucked up. You're a lemon. There ain't no
• 25:02
Speaker 1: fixing you. It doesn't matter what mechanic we bring you to.
• 25:05
Speaker 1: Nobody's fixing you, bro. People like this need to be
• 25:09
Speaker 1: put underneath the jail. The author goes on in the
• 25:17
Speaker 1: article to say, it sounded practically like a Dickinson novel
• 25:23
Speaker 1: when one of Maxwell accuser described how Epstein had sent
• 25:27
Speaker 1: a chauffeur driven car to bring her and her mother
• 25:29
Speaker 1: across the bridge for tea at his Palm Beach mansion.
• 25:33
Speaker 1: The girl was 14 at the time. And her father
• 25:36
Speaker 1: had died months earlier, bankrupting the family, she said. After
• 25:40
Speaker 1: offering himself as her patron, Epstein would go on to
• 25:43
Speaker 1: abuse the girl for years, she testified. Maxwell helped, she said,
• 25:47
Speaker 1: by winning her confidence and gradually pushing her boundaries. Maxwell
• 25:52
Speaker 1: would help normalize all of it. That was her role.
• 25:57
Speaker 1: Maxwell was the one to make these girls feel comfortable.
• 26:00
Speaker 1: The one where, you know... If you're one of these girls,
• 26:04
Speaker 1: you'd say to yourself, oh, this lady with this posh accent,
• 26:06
Speaker 1: this is never going to happen to me. I'm never
• 26:10
Speaker 1: going to get abused when I'm in the company of
• 26:13
Speaker 1: somebody like Ghislaine Maxwell. And then all of that is
• 26:18
Speaker 1: flipped on its head. Everything that these girls thought was
• 26:22
Speaker 1: going to be the case turned out to be something
• 26:25
Speaker 1: completely different. And then the whole, well, why do they
• 26:29
Speaker 1: keep going back? You got to get deeper into the
• 26:33
Speaker 1: nuance of it all, my friend. People who have that
• 26:36
Speaker 1: kind of commentary don't really understand what goes on here
• 26:40
Speaker 1: and the psyche behind all of it. There is so
• 26:46
Speaker 1: much that goes on as far as the gaslighting, Stockholm Syndrome,
• 26:50
Speaker 1: the grooming, the normalization of it all. It's just absurd
• 26:54
Speaker 1: how much goes into it. But it's effective. When these
• 26:59
Speaker 1: people get their hooks into somebody... It's almost impossible to
• 27:02
Speaker 1: get them out. When you normalize this kind of weird
• 27:06
Speaker 1: ass weirdo behavior, when kids are young and their brains
• 27:10
Speaker 1: are still developing, it's a whole lot easier to get
• 27:13
Speaker 1: them involved, to have them as part of the operation, right?
• 27:17
Speaker 1: Send them out to bring in other girls because you've
• 27:19
Speaker 1: normalized it to them. So in their brains, they say, well,
• 27:22
Speaker 1: this is normal behavior. Maybe my friends want to make
• 27:24
Speaker 1: some money. And it goes on and on and on.
• 27:29
Speaker 1: And remember, it couldn't have happened if it was just Epstein.
• 27:32
Speaker 1: Some creepy-ass, old-looking weirdo. He had to have all of
• 27:36
Speaker 1: these other moving parts. The Ghislaine Maxwells. The Sarah Kellen Vickers.
• 27:41
Speaker 1: The Leslie Groffs. The Adriana Rosses. When you look at
• 27:47
Speaker 1: Nadia Marchenkova, her situation, her being, you know, given to
• 27:51
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein as a 15-year-old to be groomed and molded
• 27:54
Speaker 1: to what he wants... That's a whole different kind of disgusting,
• 27:59
Speaker 1: draconian sadness. But Epstein couldn't have done this in a vacuum.
• 28:05
Speaker 1: He couldn't have done this without the help of somebody
• 28:07
Speaker 1: like Ghislaine Maxwell. The article goes on to say, Maxwell
• 28:15
Speaker 1: denies this and other suggestions of wrongdoing. Her attorneys insist
• 28:19
Speaker 1: she has been made a scapegoat for the sins of Epstein,
• 28:21
Speaker 1: who died by suicide, allegedly, in a New York prison
• 28:25
Speaker 1: cell a month after he was arrested in 2019. So
• 28:30
Speaker 1: that is the premise for her defense. There's no doubt
• 28:32
Speaker 1: about it. Let's try and destroy the credibility of the
• 28:36
Speaker 1: survivors and accusers. And let's make sure we pin this
• 28:40
Speaker 1: all on Epstein, because there's no way Ghislaine Maxwell could
• 28:44
Speaker 1: have been involved in this, right? No way at all.
• 28:48
Speaker 1: But yet here we are once again with another story
• 28:52
Speaker 1: about Ghislaine Maxwell, with more witness testimony about Ghislaine Maxwell.
• 28:59
Speaker 1: And while it is a not unexpected move on the
• 29:04
Speaker 1: part of the defense to try and make it all
• 29:06
Speaker 1: about Epstein, the fact of the matter is this. Ghislaine
• 29:10
Speaker 1: Maxwell is was present, Ghislaine Maxwell was actively participating according
• 29:16
Speaker 1: to the allegations, and this is not about Jeffrey Epstein.
• 29:20
Speaker 1: This is about Ghislaine Maxwell. They have also tried to
• 29:25
Speaker 1: use class to their advantage during the trial. In her
• 29:28
Speaker 1: opening statement, attorney Bobby Sternum claimed the accusers were money
• 29:32
Speaker 1: grabbers who had twisted the truth in hopes of financial jackpot.
• 29:36
Speaker 1: It was reminiscent of political strategist James Carville dismissing former
• 29:41
Speaker 1: President Clinton sexual accusers in 1994 by remarking drag a
• 29:46
Speaker 1: hundred dollar bill through a trailer park you never know
• 29:49
Speaker 1: what you'll find yeah remember that James Carville Mr. Big
• 29:55
Speaker 1: Time Big Shot over there under the the umbrella That's
• 29:59
Speaker 1: how they feel about you. All of them. Bill Clinton,
• 30:02
Speaker 1: Hillary Clinton. They don't think they care about you. They
• 30:05
Speaker 1: think that if they drag a $ 100 bill through a
• 30:07
Speaker 1: trailer park, that maybe, you know, one of your family
• 30:10
Speaker 1: members will bite. Maybe they can bring one of your
• 30:12
Speaker 1: family members into the fold. Bunch of sick bastards with
• 30:16
Speaker 1: comments like that. And still, somebody who's running around on TV, right?
• 30:21
  Speaker 1: Where's his cancel culture moment? Yeah, don't worry. I won't
• 30:25
Speaker 1: hold my breath either. It is not clear whether class
• 30:29
Speaker 1: issues will sway the jury of mostly working-class New Yorkers
• 30:33
Speaker 1: who will decide the fate of a British socialite, or,
• 30:35
Speaker 1: you know, co-conspirator, general all-around scuzzbag, fellow child abuser, and
• 30:40
Speaker 1: bipedal serpent. Throughout the trial, prosecutors have shown them photos
• 30:45
Speaker 1: of Epstein's private jets and opulent properties in New York,
• 30:49
Speaker 1: New Mexico, the Caribbean, and Palm Beach, where the bathroom
• 30:53
Speaker 1: had a sofa. Oh, well, bathroom had a sofa, so
• 30:56
Speaker 1: there's that. As a gossip columnist in Palm Beach, Jose
• 31:01
Speaker 1: Lambiet developed a jaded view about the divide between Palm Beach,
• 31:05
Speaker 1: a manicured bunker of old money, and West Palm Beach,
• 31:09
Speaker 1: a place that was originally built to house the help
• 31:13
Speaker 1: and long suffered from a reputation of drugs and violence. Well,
• 31:18
Speaker 1: that's how it always goes, right? You build the shantytown
• 31:23
Speaker 1: for the hired help and then, you know, Treat them
• 31:27
Speaker 1: like shit. Let them live in weeklies, whatever it may be.
• 31:30
Speaker 1: But as long as the stench isn't permeating over there
• 31:34
Speaker 1: into Palm Beach where you got all that beautiful money, right?
• 31:40
Speaker 1: Where people like Trump and Epstein are hanging out. Can't
• 31:43
Speaker 1: have it over there. Keep that shit six miles away.
• 31:47
Speaker 1: No gentrification projects. None of these big shot loudmouths who
• 31:51
Speaker 1: live in the area stepping up to help the community.
• 31:56
Speaker 1: Like usual, just take, take, take, and take. And at
• 31:59
Speaker 1: the same time, if we abuse some poor kids along
• 32:03
Speaker 1: the way, who gives a fuck? Well, breaking news, you
• 32:06
Speaker 1: disgusting assholes. We all do. The story here in my
• 32:14
Speaker 1: book is how the rich have once again found a
• 32:16
Speaker 1: way to screw the poor. Lambiet, who now works as
• 32:19
Speaker 1: a private detective, said of the Epstein case, These girls
• 32:22
Speaker 1: were from five or six miles away, as the crow flies,
• 32:25
  Speaker 1: where the houses are worth $ 50, 000 or $ 60, 000. That's how
• 32:29
Speaker 1: much one of these people, Jeffrey Epstein and his friends,
• 32:32
Speaker 1: watches cost. Whole house for $ 60, 000? It shows you the
• 32:38
Speaker 1: sort of destitution, the poverty that was present there. in
• 32:43
Speaker 1: the area and in the neighborhood where Epstein and Ghislaine
• 32:46
Speaker 1: Maxwell went. And West Palm Beach, just across the intracoastal
• 32:51
Speaker 1: waterway from Palm Beach, has changed as the region has prospered.
• 32:55
Speaker 1: It has caught some of the spillover as billionaires have
• 32:58
Speaker 1: pushed millionaires off Palm Beach Island. It is now becoming
• 33:01
Speaker 1: a hub for hedge funds fleeing New York to take
• 33:04
Speaker 1: advantage of Florida's low taxes. Goldman Sachs has just leased space.
• 33:09
Speaker 1: So now what will happen is these... scumbags, hedge funders,
• 33:13
Speaker 1: and the rest will come in and they'll eat up
• 33:15
Speaker 1: all the property. It'll shoot up property prices and values.
• 33:20
Speaker 1: There'll be no gentrification and they'll simply reap the benefits
• 33:24
Speaker 1: of the tax structure of Florida. We're seeing it here
• 33:27
Speaker 1: in East Las Vegas as we speak. The idea is
• 33:31
Speaker 1: if you're going to come into one of these areas,
• 33:33
Speaker 1: you have to gentrify it with your billions of dollars.
• 33:36
Speaker 1: You're catching all kinds of breaks on the tax end.
• 33:39
Speaker 1: And here you are just stuffing money in your pockets
• 33:42
Speaker 1: like the robber barons you are. It is absurd. Still,
• 33:48
Speaker 1: downbeat pockets remain, as they do in other towns in
• 33:51
Speaker 1: the vicinity, such as Royal Palm Beach and Loxahatchee, from
• 33:55
Speaker 1: which many of Epstein's survivors hailed. I've never seen a
• 33:59
Speaker 1: divide quite like the one in Palm Beach County, said
• 34:01
Speaker 1: Jonathan Beaton, who worked as a television reporter in the
• 34:04
Speaker 1: area for many years. You can go from heaven to
• 34:07
Speaker 1: hell in 15 miles. Look, I got to tell you,
• 34:12
Speaker 1: that's pretty much par for the course here in Las
• 34:14
Speaker 1: Vegas too, like I said in the opening. You can
• 34:17
Speaker 1: go in Las Vegas, you can be in one neighborhood
• 34:20
Speaker 1: where there are literally 10, $ 20 million homes and a
• 34:23
Speaker 1: mile away, there'll be a homeless camp. But these people
• 34:28
Speaker 1: are insulated from it, right? They're living in their communities
• 34:32
Speaker 1: they're gated communities with guards no access the whole nine
• 34:36
Speaker 1: while the rest of us are just left to suffer
• 34:41
Speaker 1: you can also find resentment when he testified last week
• 34:45
Speaker 1: juan alessi was still bitter from his dozen years as
• 34:48
Speaker 1: epstein's palm beach property manager manager it was slavery he
• 34:51
Speaker 1: said so yeah wouldn't you resent that as well if
• 34:55
Speaker 1: you were you know working to the bone by Jeffrey
• 34:59
Speaker 1: Epstein and Maxwell, and they're not giving you the proper compensation? Now,
• 35:03
Speaker 1: don't get it twisted. I'm not a fan of Juan Alessi.
• 35:05
Speaker 1: I've told you guys that from Jump Street. If this
• 35:07
Speaker 1: man was really about it, he would have stepped up
• 35:09
Speaker 1: to the plate back in the day and tried to
• 35:11
Speaker 1: stop this shit. But he didn't, like the rest of
• 35:13
Speaker 1: these scoundrels. So, he'll never be a good guy, as
• 35:18
Speaker 1: far as I'm concerned. Maxwell called them John. and instituted
• 35:25
Speaker 1: house rules that he found degrading. One example, Maxwell forbade
• 35:29
Speaker 1: him and staff for making eye contact with Epstein. I
• 35:32
Speaker 1: don't know why you'd want to make eye contact with
• 35:34
Speaker 1: Epstein anyway. Tell you the truth, gross-ass ugly son of
• 35:37
Speaker 1: a bitch. She later reprimanded Alessi in an email to
• 35:41
Speaker 1: another staffer for doing a truly awful job. After he
• 35:45
Speaker 1: had allegedly failed to stock pens and bottled water in
• 35:48
Speaker 1: the Black Merc. That is, the Mercedes. So... Stop the press, folks.
• 35:54
Speaker 1: There's no water and there's no pens in the black Mercedes. Well,
• 36:00
Speaker 1: I wonder if he remembered the gray Poupon. Alessi took
• 36:05
Speaker 1: his revenge after he quit, returning to the house in
• 36:09
Speaker 1: 2003 and swiping $ 6, 300 in cash from Epstein. He even
• 36:13
Speaker 1: admitted under cross-examination. Well, what's he going to do, lie?
• 36:17
Speaker 1: I think that that's kind of going to backfire on
• 36:21
Speaker 1: the prosecution. I mean, the defense as well. No, there's
• 36:25
Speaker 1: no such thing as a perfect witness, right? And Alessi
• 36:28
Speaker 1: being somebody who is obviously a pretty scummy, it shouldn't
• 36:34
Speaker 1: take away from the fact of the testimony as far
• 36:36
Speaker 1: as what he's seen. Now, certainly it comes down to
• 36:40
Speaker 1: credibility and reliability and what the jurors are going to
• 36:43
Speaker 1: feel and believe. So that certainly comes into play, but
• 36:48
Speaker 1: there's no such thing as a perfect witness. All my life,
• 36:52
Speaker 1: I worked very hard and saved a lot of money,
• 36:55
Speaker 1: including the time I worked for Mr. Epstein, he said,
• 36:57
Speaker 1: attempting to defend his honor. At times, the social gap
• 37:01
Speaker 1: between Maxwell, daughter of the late British press baron and
• 37:04
Speaker 1: embezzler Robert Maxwell, and her accusers has seemed unimaginably vast. Again,
• 37:11
Speaker 1: here's another question to ask yourself. What's Maxwell doing hanging
• 37:14
Speaker 1: out with all of these girls anyway? Alright, let's say,
• 37:18
Speaker 1: in a perfect world, there wasn't all of this evidence
• 37:21
Speaker 1: against her. Why are you hanging out with girls from
• 37:25
Speaker 1: downtrodden backgrounds, girls that are from broken homes, and girls
• 37:28
Speaker 1: that are literally 14 and 15 years old? What possible
• 37:33
Speaker 1: excuse can you have for that? You don't think the
• 37:36
Speaker 1: prosecution should ask something like that? It's just, you know,
• 37:41
Speaker 1: when we look back at this and we take a
• 37:44
Speaker 1: look in hindsight, I think we're going to see so
• 37:46
Speaker 1: many missed opportunities by prosecutions. While Maxwell flew on the Concorde,
• 37:53
Speaker 1: was friends with Britain's Prince Andrew, and attended Chelsea Clinton's wedding,
• 37:58
Speaker 1: one of her accusers, Carolyn, dropped out of middle school
• 38:00
Speaker 1: in West Palm Beach at 13 and began dating Sean,
• 38:04
Speaker 1: then 17, who lived across the street. Carolyn had been
• 38:08
Speaker 1: molested by her grandfather, she told the jury, and her
• 38:11
Speaker 1: mother was an alcoholic and a drug addict. Now, add
• 38:17
Speaker 1: to that what Maxwell and Epstein did to her. And
• 38:22
Speaker 1: you have the perfect storm. Now for Maxwell's lawyers to
• 38:26
Speaker 1: go after her the way they did. And try and
• 38:28
Speaker 1: make her feel like she was a piece of shit.
• 38:31
Speaker 1: Reprehensible in my opinion. Of course that's their job. I
• 38:34
Speaker 1: get it. Doesn't mean I can't find it reprehensible. Because
• 38:37
Speaker 1: I do. Because I'm an idiot. She quipped. With a
• 38:44
Speaker 1: kind of lower class fatalism when asked by a prosecutor
• 38:47
Speaker 1: to explain why she was arrested in 2011 for cocaine possession.
• 38:51
Speaker 1: Drive around and smoke pot is how Sean described their relationship.
• 38:55
Speaker 1: So because somebody smokes pot, by the way, that makes
• 38:58
Speaker 1: them a bad person or a liar or somebody who
• 39:01
Speaker 1: is unreliable. It's a ridiculous line, right? And the whole
• 39:07
Speaker 1: bringing up the drugs and all of that. It just,
• 39:10
Speaker 1: it goes right back to their whole entire game plan
• 39:14
Speaker 1: and their book of tricks from the original prosecution. Carolyn
• 39:21
Speaker 1: was brought to Epstein by another local teenager, Virginia Roberts,
• 39:25
Speaker 1: whose father worked in maintenance at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago club
• 39:29
Speaker 1: on Palm Beach. I was young, and $ 300 was a
• 39:33
Speaker 1: lot of money to me, Carolyn said of Roberts' offer
• 39:36
Speaker 1: to earn some cash by helping her massage a rich
• 39:38
Speaker 1: man in Palm Beach for an hour. Now remember, we're
• 39:41
Speaker 1: talking about two little girls, okay? The pyramid scheme of
• 39:45
Speaker 1: human beings that Jeffrey Epstein and Maxwell was running. They'd
• 39:48
Speaker 1: bring in one girl. In this instance, it was Virginia.
• 39:50
Speaker 1: They'd groom her, normalize her, and then send her out
• 39:53
Speaker 1: to bring in more friends. Now, mind you, these girls
• 39:56
Speaker 1: are all little girls when they're doing this. And that
• 40:01
Speaker 1: was how they had this pyramid scheme running, especially in
• 40:04
Speaker 1: Palm Beach, for years. And even when somebody ratted them out,
• 40:09
Speaker 1: even when one of these girls went to the authorities,
• 40:12
Speaker 1: all Epstein got was the minor slap on the wrist
• 40:16
Speaker 1: he ended up with. The first time she went to
• 40:22
Speaker 1: Epstein's house, Carolyn testified, she was greeted by a woman
• 40:25
Speaker 1: with an English accent who would arrange some of the
• 40:27
Speaker 1: 100 or so sexualized massages she would give Epstein over
• 40:31
Speaker 1: the next two years. She ended up calling her Maxwell,
• 40:34
Speaker 1: Carolyn said. Why, the prosecutor asked. Because I couldn't exactly
• 40:38
Speaker 1: pronounce her first name correctly. Yeah, you and everybody else.
• 40:42
Speaker 1: When this all first started, I couldn't pronounce her name
• 40:43
Speaker 1: correctly either. Then again, I'm terrible at pronouncing names. I
• 40:48
Speaker 1: speak New York Italian, so sometimes the pronunciation is a
• 40:51
Speaker 1: little bit off, shall we say. Carolyn went on to
• 40:55
Speaker 1: become a drug addict, a prostitute, and a single mother.
• 40:58
Speaker 1: In court last week, she was face-to-face with Maxwell, who
• 41:00
Speaker 1: sat just across from her. At one point, she railed
• 41:04
Speaker 1: at her, you broke my soul. Gut-wrenching, folks. It really
• 41:09
Speaker 1: is gut-wrenching. And horrible. All of it. It makes me sad.
• 41:15
Speaker 1: And the fact that it's the most vulnerable amongst us
• 41:18
Speaker 1: every single time you turn around is just another reason
• 41:23
Speaker 1: to want to see these people brought to justice. Now,
• 41:27
Speaker 1: will they be? That's the definite question we're all asking.
• 41:32
Speaker 1: We'll have to see what kind of defense Maxwell and
• 41:34
Speaker 1: her team brings to the table starting Thursday. end if
• 41:38
Speaker 1: they bring all 35 of those alleged witnesses to the box.
• 41:43
Speaker 1: Another thing that I doubt is going to happen, but
• 41:46
Speaker 1: we have to discuss, is will Maxwell take the stand herself?
• 41:51
Speaker 1: Very interesting question, no doubt about it. As you can see,
• 41:56
Speaker 1: I uploaded a couple of episodes for some context, a
• 42:00
Speaker 1: Scott Borgeson episode, some other stuff, and I'll continue to
• 42:03
Speaker 1: do that throughout the day today, same schedule as we've
• 42:06
Speaker 1: been on. And tonight, I'll be back with a morning,
• 42:10
  Speaker 1: I mean, the evening wrap-up. And we'll see where we're
• 42:13
Speaker 1: at and what we should expect come tomorrow. But for now, folks,
• 42:17
Speaker 1: that's going to do it. And if you'd like to

Speaker 1: contact me, you can do that at bobbycapucci at protonmail.com.
