1:53
whole weekend. A couple of big ones for tomorrow since I won't be on
1:57
the air on Friday, Brock Lesner, Michelle Rodriguez, and Sammy Zain I'll
2:04
have birthdays tomorrow. And it would have also been the birthday of Eddie Murphy's
2:07
brother, Charlie Murphy, So uh yeah, those are the big ones for
2:14
tomorrow, but hopefully everybody had a great week. Let's wind the week down
2:19
with some fun talk today. We're gonna talk about NFL training camps and when
2:23
they open it all starts next week. This is it. Football season is
2:28
officially going to be here and it's upon us now, and I think everybody's
2:31
excited. Big news in the wrestling world. I'll go into that in a
2:36
little bit too. We've got a little entertainment to talk about today. Despicable
2:42
Me four came out last week. Where did it rank in the box office
2:46
rankings? We'll find out in a little bit. But let's go into some
2:50
NFL news, all right. So, as everybody knows, NFL training camps
2:55
open up in the next few weeks now, Rookies report between July sixteenth and
3:00
the twenty fourth, and veteran players have to report between July seventeenth and July
3:06
twenty fourth. So here we go. Here's all the teams and when they
3:09
report. So if it's a team that you love, you'll know when to
3:13
go check out their training camps, all right, So, Arizona Cardinals rookies
3:17
report July twenty third, and so do the veterans. Atlanta Falcons both rookies
3:24
and veterans report July twenty fourth. The Baltimore Ravens, they report July thirteenth
3:34
for the rookies, which I believe is Saturday. Yeah, that's Saturday,
3:38
and the veterans report a week later on July twentieth. Buffalo Bills they have
3:45
theirs rookies reporting July sixteenth, and vets come in July twenty third. Carolina
3:52
Panthers July nineteenth for rookies, July twenty third for the veterans. My hometown
3:58
Chicago Bears. July sixteenth is when rookies report, and July nineteenth is when
4:04
your veterans come in. So next week already Monday. Is that Monday or
4:09
Tuesday? I believe of next week and then Saturday. So that's pretty cool.
4:15
I'm ready. Let's see Cincinnati Bengals July twentieth for rooks, July twenty
4:20
third for the veterans. Cleveland Browns July twenty second for rookies, and then
4:30
the twenty third the next day for veterans. Dallas Cowboys, both your rookies
4:34
and veterans come in on the twenty fourth. Denver Broncos, you have rookies
4:40
coming in July seventeenth, and then you've got your veterans coming in July twenty
4:43
third. Detroit Lions. You're reporting July twentieth for the rookies and the twenty
4:49
third for veterans. The Green Bay Fudge Packers July seventeenth for the rookies and
4:57
July twenty first for the veterans. Houston Texans July seventeenth for both Indianapolis Colts,
5:05
July twenty fourth for both Jacksonville Jaguars. You've got July nineteenth for rooks
5:12
and the twenty third for the vets. Kansas City Chiefs. You will see
5:15
your rookies on July sixteenth, and Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelcey will report on
5:21
July twentieth. Las Vegas Raiders. You will see training camp open for rookies
5:28
on the twenty first, the twenty third for vets. Los Angeles Chargers sixteenth
5:34
for rookies, twenty third for the veterans, the Rams of Los Angeles,
5:40
the twenty third for the rookies and for the veterans. Miami Dolphins July sixteenth
5:46
for the rookies, July twenty third for the vets. Minnesota Vikings. You
5:50
will report your rookies on the twenty first, and the twenty third will be
5:55
of course your veterans. New England Patriots, the nineteenth for rookies and the
6:00
twenty third for vets. New Orleans Saints July sixteenth will be okay, So
6:06
here New Orleans Saints and the New York Giants July sixteenth for your rookies and
6:12
for both those teams, July twenty third for their veterans. New York Jets,
6:16
July eighteenth for rookies, July twenty third for vets. Philadelphia Eagles,
6:21
the twenty third for both Pittsburgh Steelers, the twenty fourth for both San Francisco
6:28
forty nine ers. The sixteenth of July is your rookies. Veterans will come
6:32
in the twenty third Seattle Seahawks seventeenth for the rookies and the twenty third for
6:42
veterans. Tampa Bay Buccaneers one day apart rookies July twenty second, and the
6:46
twenty third will be the veterans. Tennessee Titans, twenty third for both,
6:51
and the Washington Commanders. Finally, July eighteenth and July twenty third for the
6:57
veterans. So that is your NFL trading camps. Everybody's excited. Of course,
7:02
the preseason kicks off. I believe it's August first, the Chicago Bears
7:06
in Houston, Texans will play in the Hall of Fame game. I'm excited
7:12
because August third, we'll get to see the induction of Steve McMichael, which
7:19
I mean, Bears fans were excited to see Julius Peppers get in. We're
7:25
excited for Devin Hester, but I think we're the most excited for Mongo because
7:29
he deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. He deserved to be in
7:31
there years ago. And I don't understand what took them so long to do
7:34
it. They could have did it back when he was already, you know,
7:40
still healthy enough to be there and to make a speech. I am
7:43
glad that they are doing it at you know, his house for him so
7:48
he doesn't have to move. But you know, I was thinking about this
7:51
the other day, and a couple of my buddies and co workers will talking
7:56
about this. This could be what he's hold out for. He knows he's
8:05
getting in. It's almost here. We're literally weeks away. You know.
8:09
When they made the announcement, it was months and now we're weeks away from
8:11
it, and I think that Mango is staying around and being here for that.
8:20
I think once he gets the induction, you know, I hope hopefully
8:26
this isn't true, but you know, he may go happy at that point
8:30
because he got what he wanted. He got to be in the Hall of
8:33
Fame. That's what he's always wanted his whole life was to make it into
8:37
the NFL Hall of Fame. And now he's gonna be able to do that.
8:41
So hopefully, you know, he's gonna be in there and we'll see
8:45
what happens. All right, Let's move on to a little bit of wrestling.
8:48
That's right. Money in the Bank was last week and wow, one
8:54
night all around it was crazy. Let's go into it, all right,
8:58
So we had a amazing wrestling show this week Money in the Bank ticket sales
9:03
WW Money in the Bank twenty twenty four. Venue was the Scotia Bank Arena
9:07
in Toronto, Canada. WW Money in the Bank twenty twenty four tickets distributed.
9:13
They sold nineteen thousand, eight hundred and fifty eight tickets with zero remaining,
9:18
which means they did a complete sellout. Here was the winners of the
9:20
matches. Tiffany Stratton is new Tiffy in the Bank. She won the woman's
9:26
Money in the Bank briefcase. Damian Priest defeated Seth Rollins Andrew McIntyre. I'll
9:33
go into that in a second. Drew McIntyre did win the Money in the
9:35
Bank briefcase. Sammy Zain defeated bron Breaker to retain his Intercontinental Championship. Now
9:45
everybody says, okay, so you know he won it, right, What
9:50
does it mean? Andrew McIntyre. During the match, Drew McIntyre decides to
9:56
cash in and make it a triple threat match. He waited till close at
10:00
the end when both guys beat the hell out of each other, just like
10:03
all money in the banks do. And he went down and he did his
10:07
thing. Well, he was just about to go after Seth Rollins and guess
10:13
who came out like I predicted, see him Punk, see them Punk came
10:18
out beat the living crap out of Drew McIntyre in that match, took him
10:26
completely out. Damian Priest goes on to win the match. So Drew McIntyre
10:31
had a failed cash in. Crazy Crazy Crazy and the bloodline. Of course,
10:37
the New Bloodline defeated Cody Rhoades, Sammy z Ain and Randy or or
10:43
Not, Sammy Zane, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens. Kevin Owens was
10:46
there his mom who was in the hospital. She wasn't doing too good at
10:52
the time. I haven't heard any new reports on it. They haven't reported
10:56
that his mom passed away or anything, so she's probably still the same.
11:01
I hope she gets better with whatever it is that she has. But yeah,
11:05
he was there, and he put on a great show, and you
11:09
know, it was a great match. Solo and them did that. The
11:13
big story of the night though, It wasn't Drew McIntyre winning the Money in
11:16
the Bank. It wasn't Tiffany Stranton being the Tiffy in the Bank, and
11:22
it wasn't Drew McIntyre being beat up by seem Punk and losing his spot.
11:26
But the big news of the night was John Cena came out. Trish Stratis,
11:33
of course, being from Toronto, was the special guest host of Money
11:39
in the Bank. Did an amazing job. Trishy was just as beautiful as
11:43
always and solidifies why she was by crush in the Attitude era. She came
11:50
out like a couple of matches in and said, oh, there's a special
11:56
guest, and it was John Cena. He came out with the towel that
12:00
said the final time is now. Everybody's heart dropped as soon as they saw
12:05
that. He came to the ring and did what everybody was dreading that he
12:11
was coming in the ring to do when they saw that towel, and he
12:13
announced his retirement from wrestling. Now, his retirement was not immediately effective.
12:22
He is going to wrestle in twenty twenty five. He explained this way better
12:26
in his press conference that he did at the end of the show than he
12:31
did while he was in the ring. In the ring, he said that
12:33
the Royal Rumble would be his last Royal Rumble. He said that Elimination Chamber
12:41
will be his last elimination Chamber, and that WrestleMania will be his final match.
12:45
Now final WrestleMania. Now, what he didn't say in that, but
12:48
he did say in the press conference was that he will wrestle the entire year.
12:58
He will be Therefore, of course, whenna begos to Netflix, we
13:01
all knew he would be. Okay, I mean, why would you not
13:05
have John Cena there? I'm sure the Rock will be there. I'm sure
13:09
a lot of big WWE former superstars will be in attendance for that first raw.
13:13
Okay, that's an amazing feat to go to Netflix and be able to
13:16
do exactly what you want when you want. Yeah, so honestly I am
13:24
ready for it. Netflix is gonna be amazing. They're gonna be able to
13:28
get away with a lot more, and with smack Down now moving to USA,
13:35
they won't be blanking everything out the way they do on Fox. Fox
13:41
has become terrible. With that. Fox has become where I don't even want
13:43
to watch SmackDown anymore because I know they're gonna blank out people and they're gonna
13:48
go to a black screen and all this. It's stupid. It's dumb.
13:52
We're all adults, even if kids are watching. Oh well, so they
13:56
see a middle finger here and there. As a kid, we were watching
14:00
the Attitude era Stone Cold Steve Austin given the double bird to Vince mcmahn and
14:03
then giving him a stone cold stunner. We don't care about a little bit
14:07
of swearing, and we don't care about a middle finger. It ain't gonna
14:11
affect us, it doesn't matter. Just stop already. But my point is
14:16
it's gonna be great. Scene it on Netflix, and you know John Sena
14:18
is gonna be there. So he his kickoff to this farewell tour for twenty
14:24
twenty five will be January sixth, when they go to Netflix and switch over.
14:31
He said his final will be in December, so he's gonna basically do
14:37
a one year finale for himself. He said he's already signed up for thirty
14:43
or forty dates. You gotta figure Tho's twelve pay per views like one a
14:46
months. Sometimes there's an extra one here and there when they go to like
14:50
Rehod or any of those places. But I would love to see John Cena
14:56
in his final run, do one of the things he's He never won the
15:01
Intercontinental title. I would love to see him win that. I would also
15:03
like to see him maybe break Rick Flair's record if he's willing to do it,
15:07
and hit seventeen world championships and you could do that in the span of
15:11
a year. And I would also like to see him win King of the
15:13
Ring. Why not give everything major to Sina. He's leaving, he's going
15:18
out the door. But yeah, I am really not sure what to do
15:26
with this like, I'm looking at the picture right now with the teel this
15:30
as the last time is now and it's really sad. And the funny thing
15:33
is as soon as they released it, as soon as they released like him
15:41
coming out, if he went to the website that was already there, it
15:45
was pretty crazy. But yeah, so I'm ready. I don't think I'm
15:50
ready for it, but I'm ready for it. I knew this was eventually
15:54
gonna happen. John Cena is getting older. I knew eventually he was gonna
15:58
retire. I was just hoping it wasn't gonna be that soon. But then
16:03
again, it's not really that soon. So I saw this meme on Facebook
16:08
and it pretty much sums up what twenty twenty five is gonna be for wrestling.
16:12
It says ww will reach its ultimate peak in twenty twenty five. Raw
16:17
will be on Netflix, John Cena's farewell tour With's Sena possibly winning his seventeenth
16:22
world title, biggest match of all time, Rock and Roman at WrestleMania forty
16:26
one, Punkin Rollins rivalry, and Randy Orton and Cody Roadse rivalry. I
16:33
think it's gonna be a great year for wrestling. I really do. I
16:36
believe that, and I think everybody that watches wrestling believes it too. But
16:41
yeah, so I am a little sad about it. But at the same
16:48
time, we'll see what happens. Oh, I didn't get to do this
16:52
while I was talking NFL. I want to go through this list really quick
16:56
and you let me know in an email or message me on one of my
17:00
social medias. It's all at the bottom of here. Top ten running backs
17:03
in the NFL. See if you agree with this. Number ten from the
17:07
Jaguars, Trevis Teen, number nine from Baltimore, Derrick Henry, number eight
17:15
from Detroit, Jamir Gibbs, number seven from Green Bay, Josh Jacobs,
17:22
number six from Atlanta, Bijon Robinson, number five from the Colts, Jonathan
17:26
Taylor number four. This is still weird to say, Number four with Philadelphia
17:32
Saquan Barkley, number three from the Browns, Nick Chubb, number two from
17:38
New York Jets, Bryce Hall, and number one from San Francisco Christian McCaffrey.
17:45
Let me know if you agree with that, because I think there's a
17:48
few that they could have left out. The Bears picked up a pretty decent
17:52
one too, so I don't know, I don't know if I agree with
17:56
that one, but we'll see what everybody agrees with. So let me know
17:59
in the comments or email me and let me know what you think about that.
18:03
All right, So let's move on to Monday Night Raw. Monday NIGHTRA,
18:07
we saw the return of Mommy. That's right, Rio Ripley's back,
18:11
and she came right for Live Morgan and Dominic. Dominic and Live had a
18:15
match together where they were tag teaming together and they won their match and they
18:22
were the main event, of course, and here it goes. He fell
18:26
on top of her just like she pulls him down on him on her,
18:30
and then they were about to kiss, and then boom, Rio Ripley's music
18:34
hit and as soon as she started walking down, yep, she went right
18:40
for Live Morgan chased her out of the arena, then came back and got
18:42
in Dom's face. They ended up walking off together. So we'll see where
18:47
this is gonna be now next Monday Night on Raw, of course, see
18:49
I'm punkin Seth Rollins went face to face with each other. Seth Rollins was
18:55
mad that he screwed him out of the title shot because according to the rule,
19:00
if Seth Rollins lost the match, he could never have another shot at
19:04
the world title as long as Damian Priest was the champion. So, I
19:11
mean, we already know SummerSlam is gonna be Gunther versus Damian Priest. They've
19:15
already announced it. He won King of the Ring, he got his match
19:19
up at SummerSlam, so he will face off Damian Priest. So we already
19:23
know the world title is set. Okay. The only thing I can think
19:30
of is that, yes, they will possibly do the whole seth Rollins.
19:37
I don't know what they're gonna do with this whole Drew McIntyre thing yet,
19:41
because they rise right now he's suspended. Will it be at SummerSlam? Is
19:47
Punk cleared enough to wrestle at SummerSlam. We'll have to see what they end
19:49
up doing with that. Let's move on to someone else I found really quick,
19:53
and this is it will never happen, okay, but just in case
19:59
here to point this out. So I don't believe this will ever happen,
20:03
But there is a lot of steam going around that Shane McMahon could end up
20:08
going over to aw not necessarily to Russell, but just for a runout there,
20:15
probably to stick it to Vincent Triple H for all the things that have
20:19
happened, I can't necessarily see it happen, but there is rumors about him
20:25
maybe starting a faction and bringing it over to AW. If this happens,
20:33
I guess it could be kind of cool in a way to see Shane there.
20:40
But at the same time, does anybody really want Shane McMahon to be
20:45
over there in AW. I mean, he's not even getting great. I
20:51
guess he obviously would get a good pop just because he's Shane McMahon. If
20:56
he came into WWE, TNA, or he came into wor AW, he
21:02
get a big pop no matter what. So here's some wrestlers that they could
21:04
see him with. Eight current AW stars who could join Shapman Man's AW faction.
21:11
Number eight Johnny TV and Tye Valcree. I don't really know who they
21:17
are, but they look kind of cool and so I could maybe see that.
21:25
Number seven Sammy Gavara. Now it says he's not appeared on AW television
21:30
since his match with Jeff Hardy on Rampage, which ended up being Jeff's final
21:33
match in the company. Samuel suspended following the match with no real updates on
21:38
when he's gonna make a return. So who better to make a return with
21:41
them with Shane McMahon. Let's see who's number six. Number six the patriarchy,
21:48
which is Christian Cage and all of them. So it's already a family,
21:53
and Shane could just join and just be like the veteran. I mean
22:00
a veteran too, but Shane is in his fifties, he's got wise ways,
22:11
so I can see that happening. Let's go on to number five takes
22:18
forever the premier athletes. Mark Sterling has had several clients during his aw tenure,
22:25
but most notably Jade Cargill during her undefeated TBS championship run. So I
22:32
could see maybe Mark Sterling, say, being hired as Shae mcmann's lawyer and
22:37
the rest of their premier athletes being his stooges would be a fun dynamic.
22:41
So yeah, I could see that. Let's move on to number four,
22:48
Brian Cage and Gates of Agony. They're already a stable, so why not
22:52
add somebody like Shane is like a manager to them, a mentor if you
22:56
will. Let's move on. Let's see who else. Mercedes moon a Sasha
23:03
Banks. Why not? She already knows Shane. I could see him coming
23:07
down to the ring and being a manager to her. I guess after her
23:11
match at Forbidden Door, he called her to find out about what she thinks.
23:15
Aw, this is all rumors. We don't know if any of this
23:19
is true. We don't know if any of this is gonna happen. But
23:22
if it did, I could see Sasha Banks, Mercedes Mona being with them.
23:27
Why not? Ricky Starks comes in at number two. He's been off
23:33
for months, So you bring Ricky Starks and maybe Sammy Gavarro. Why not?
23:38
And then let's move on to the number one person, the elites.
23:47
There you go. Can you imagine I mean here, Vince mc man's company
23:53
we all know hate well, not Vincent Man's company anymore, really, but
23:57
WW hates a Shane McMahon was one of the founding members of the Big Attitude
24:07
era. Okay, he was in there. He knows what it's like to
24:10
start a war. Could you imagine Shane McMahon teaming up with the elite Edges
24:18
going to war with WWE. That would be amazing. I actually could see
24:23
that, and that make maybe tuning in the AW and imagine the Tony Kahan
24:33
effect. If you had Tony Kahan and Shane McMahon being like a Vince and
24:38
Shane were back in the nineties, that'd be kind of cool, and that
24:42
might make people tune in. I may even watch some of it just to
24:45
see where they go with it. So don't be shocked if one day you
24:49
hear here comes the money in AW. It could happen. Shane McMahon is
24:53
not a big fan of his dad, he's not a big fan of Triple
24:56
H. I could see him stick it to them by joining AW for a
25:00
while, even if it's not for a long period of time, even if
25:03
it's just to stick it to them for a little while and then leave,
25:07
I could see it happening. So I don't know, but we'll see what
25:10
happens. Let's move on next. I haven't read this yet. I wanted
25:15
to read it on the air instead of reading it first. Everybody knows I'm
25:21
a big to Martin Rosan fan was very and I get why they're doing it.
25:26
They're trying to rebuild younger, but I feel like you need veterans,
25:29
but you're also holding a veteran like him down because you're at least a few
25:33
way years away from making it to anything major. De Martin Rosan getting traded
25:38
to Sacramento and assign and trade. I wore my Martin rosen jersey last night.
25:45
I was very not happy about it, but I get where the Bulls
25:49
are going with it. But I just wish they would have a real direction,
25:52
because I don't believe that they do. But he did write a letter
25:56
to the Chicago Bulls fans and the organization, and here it is, he
26:02
says, and I say, Shai City, A thank you would be an
26:06
understatement. The love, passion, and joy you filled me with for three
26:08
seasons was a dream. It gave me a drive every night to return the
26:12
feeling to the entire organization, front office, coaching staff, and everyone who
26:18
worked in the United Center. I couldn't have asked for better people. To
26:22
my teammates, we created a bond that will last forever. Memories I'll never
26:25
forget. I know the nightmares started already knowing you will face me in another
26:30
jersey, but it will only be twice. Love and appreciation for everything,
26:34
Chicago, Demarta rosen Dale and Terry put a heart emoji. Zach Levine wished
26:45
him well by saying, my dog with fingers crossed. I don't know what
26:49
that means. I don't know if they're planning on maybe playing together somewhere else.
26:53
He is in Sacramento right now. Zach Levine, I don't think is
26:59
gonna go anywhere yet because his contract is too big. But yeah, I
27:03
was not happy about that trade, but then again I get it, but
27:07
you also do need a scorer, and zach Lavine is either injured or hot
27:11
and cold. We don't know what's gonna happen with Lonzo Ball. We don't
27:15
know what's happening with Vukovic. He might be gone too. We don't know
27:19
what's going on this team, just like the Chicago White Sox, who are
27:23
owned by the same person, have no direction. Just trade guys, bring
27:30
in young guys, try that, let them go, bring in more.
27:34
We've been rebuilding since nineteen ninety nine. We had a chance with Derrick Rose
27:41
before he got hurt, and it's like we're rebuilding again. We get zach
27:48
Levine, we bring in Demarto Rosan, we get Lonzo Ball. Lonzo Ball,
27:52
he balls out here. We start doing great. Everybody's like, oh
27:56
man, we're first place and then he gets hurt. Chicago. I swear
28:00
the Bulls are cursed since Michael Jordan left. I really believe that. But
28:07
yeah, I just wanted to read that letter on the air because I didn't
28:10
get to read it. I held it off because I didn't want to read
28:17
it and then read it here. I wanted to do it just all in
28:19
one because it's hard for me because I'm a big Demarta Rosen fan, so
28:25
for me to see him go, it sucks. But it is what it
28:29
is. There's not much you can do about it. No big NHL news,
28:32
no real big NBA news right now, Summer league started already. Next
28:37
week I'll talk about the Olympics because the Olympics start the following week. I
28:41
believe it is, what is this July eleventh, It starts at twenty six,
28:45
So yeah, the following week we'll talk about it. So next week
28:51
we'll talk a little bit, and then we'll start talking about every week after
28:53
that. Training camps open for some places next week, so we'll talk about
28:59
all that. And it's a crazy time in sports. Football is going to
29:03
be back and baseball is still in the thicket all right. So being an
29:07
Amazon worker, it would be remiss for me to not remind people that next
29:14
week is Prime Prime Day, which is every summer in July they do it,
29:22
and it's two days. It's a two day sale Tuesday and Wednesday,
29:26
the sixteenth and seventeen, So make sure you know. Go on to Amazon,
29:33
get your prime ready, and go and shop till you drop. It
29:37
be a lot of good sales getting rid of a lot of stuff to make
29:41
way for Christmas time. So yeah, make sure you get your orders in
29:45
and buy the things that you want to buy. I'm sure there's gonna be
29:48
a lot of good stuff on sale, so make sure you check it out.
29:52
I haven't really looked at the early deals. I don't really buy anything
29:55
much from Amazon that I don't need, so I just get what I need
29:57
and when I want something. But yeah, so I didn't look up any
30:00
of that stuff, but go check it out. They have the release of
30:03
the early deals already on there. They even have stuff on sale, I
30:07
believe, already this week, so make sure you check that out. So
30:11
let's go into the entertainment section of this. CW and NBC announced their fall
30:18
return dates already. It's that time. We're close to August so they had
30:23
to do it. So here we go. So far, CW's TV lineup
30:30
CW Fall TV. Monday night schedule APM, Trivial Pursuit, nine pm,
30:36
Scrabble CW Fall TV for Tuesday night APM, WWE NXT will debut on CW.
30:47
That's right, ww NXT will leave the USA network and go there.
30:52
Wednesday nights at APM. Sullivan's Crossing season two and nine pm. Now remember
31:00
these are Eastern time, so if you're on Central time Zone, it'd be
31:04
an hour earlier. Thursday night schedule Superman and Lois season four at eight pm,
31:12
and a new show at nine The Librarians. The next chapter. Friday
31:19
night schedule at APM will be Whose Line Is It Anyway? Season thirteen and
31:25
nine pm, inside the NFL Season two Saturday night schedule, CW Sports Saturday,
31:33
and then for Sunday night, the CW Sunday Night Movie. So make
31:38
sure you check all that out if you want to a lot of good stuff
31:42
coming to CW. It all starts around I believe September October. It doesn't
31:48
give actual dates on when it's starting. It just says what's going to be
31:52
on in fall, so probably September or October. Okay, like Superman and
31:59
Lois start, it's Thursday, October seventeenth, So everything's gonna have their own
32:02
dates. You'll know. Closer to that, I'll go over the final list,
32:07
probably like end August for September and October, we'll go over that.
32:12
All right, let's move on really quick to NBC. Alright, so let's
32:19
look at NBC now, and they actually have their dates and when these shows
32:22
are starting, which is even better. But don't forget obviously we've got July
32:28
twenty six is the opening ceremonies for the Olympics. August thirty first, Saturday
32:32
August thirty first, seven pm Big ten Countdown Season premiere and seven thirty pm
32:38
Big ten Football Season premiere, which I believe. So there's gonna be a
32:43
football game maybe at NBC every Saturday night. Now, that's what it looks
32:46
like. Looks like Big ten Thursday September fifth. Here it is NFL Kickoff
32:53
twenty twenty four. And then at eight point fifteen Special Night Sunday Night Football
33:00
Season premiere. I don't know why they say it's a special night. They
33:02
do it every year at that time, but yeah, that will be the
33:07
Kansas City Chiefs, and is it Baltimore in the first game. I believe
33:13
we'll go over the schedule soon. Let's see alright, So Sunday September eighth,
33:25
seven pm Football Night in America season premiere and then of course Sunday Night
33:30
Football starts Monday September twenty third, eight pm. The Voice season twenty sixth
33:37
premiere and then ten pm. Brilliant Minds season premiere, Brand new show series
33:45
premiere Tuesday September twenty fourth, America's Got Talent Season nineteen finale. There will
33:52
be a two hour one Wednesday, September twenty fifth. My favorite day,
33:58
this is gonna be awesome. Is Chicago Med season ten premiere at eight pm
34:06
nine pm, and Chicago Fire season thirteen premiere and then ten pm. Chicago
34:10
PD season twelve premiere Thursday September twenty sixth. Will be the People's Choice Awards
34:19
Friday, September twenty seventh, the premiere of Dateline NBC Tuesday October first,
34:25
at ten pm. The Irrational season two premiere Thursday October third, will be
34:35
Lawn Order season twenty four premiere at eight pm nine pm. Lawn Order SVU
34:42
season twenty six premiere and ten pm Found season two premiere. Reminder, Lawn
34:47
Order Organized Crime is moving to Peacock, so you'll be able to see new
34:52
episodes on Peacock. Wnday premiere on there Friday, October eighteenth, APM is
34:59
Happy Happiest Place a Series premiere. I believe that's what Reba Reeba McIntyre's in
35:06
that that looks good too, and then eight thirty pm that night that Friday
35:13
night is Lopez Versus Lopez Season three premiere. Tuesday November twelfth is Saint Dennis
35:20
Medical Series premiere two episodes, and Thursday or Tuesday November nineteenth will be at
35:29
a thirty the night Core season night Court season three premiere. I'm glad that
35:34
show keeps going. I'm excited, but there will be probably more shows announced
35:38
because this seems like it's kind of light, so I'm sure they'll have a
35:42
little bit more soon. I'll be going into more detail about the TV schedules
35:46
in the next couple of weeks with everything, so we'll do that. Now,
35:52
let's move on. I want to backtrack for a minute because I've found
35:58
something that I wanted to talk about and it was in a different section two
36:04
possible spoiler match cards for two w W upcoming events. So next month this
36:08
Summer Slam, and they did an early summer so well it's August third,
36:16
so it's really not that far away where we got one three weeks left until
36:21
August third, so technically, yeah, it's like really really close. In
36:28
fact, I think that's what two weeks away, three weeks away. So
36:31
here we go. This is a match card, and I think a lot
36:36
of these matches are gonna happen. One for sure, Damian Priest Goonther for
36:39
the World Heavyweight title, Cody Roads and Solo Sequoia for the undisputed ww Championship.
36:45
I could see that happening, and that is gonna be your Roman Reigns
36:49
return. He's gonna come back and he's gonna cost Solo his chance of becoming
36:53
the champion. Drew McIntyre cm punk with Seth Rollins as a special referee.
37:00
I could see that that would be a great way to get the feud keep
37:04
going with him and Seth and maybe possibly end the feud with Drew or see
37:09
where that goes. It's probably gonna be a couple of things in there.
37:13
Live Morgan, the Champion versus Real Ripley for the Women's Championship. Definitely see
37:17
that happening. It has to happen, and where better plays at SummerSlam.
37:22
Bailey and Nia Jacks. We already knew Nia Jacks won the Queen of the
37:30
Ring and she gets an automatic title shot at SummerSlam, so we knew that.
37:35
Logan Paul and La Knight, Please, this has to happen for the
37:37
US Championship. Sammy Zain versus bron Breaker versus Isijah Dragonov versus Ludwig Kaiser in
37:45
a fatal four way for the inter Continental Championship. Where is Seamus in that?
37:52
Why he wasn't he involved in that? But that's a pretty cool match,
37:55
and I think that's when bron Breaker will win the Intercontinental time and then
38:00
we got Randy Orton and Kevin Owens versus Tomatongo and Jacob Fatu and a Tornado
38:07
tag match. I could see that they are gonna pull the trigger on Randy
38:09
Orton and Cody, but it's not gonna be for SummerSlam. They're still gonna
38:14
go with this bloodline storyline thing. So definitely, uh, I could see
38:20
that happening. You didn't you don't lose a match like that and then just
38:22
be done. It's gonna keep going. I got one to throw in last,
38:28
but this one is the last one on here. Uncle Howdi and Chad
38:30
Gable in a firefly funhouse match. That would be amazing. I could see
38:36
that one that's not on here that I think is going to happen. Tiffy
38:42
in the Bank versus Tristratus. They already teased it. It's gonna happen.
38:45
And what better place in SummerSlam in Cleveland. That would be awesome. So
38:51
yeah, I could definitely see all happening, and we'll see now here is
38:54
another one. Now this is way too soon though, because this isn't until
38:58
October. We got a long way to go. They announced on October fifth,
39:00
my birthday, which is a Saturday this year, that there is going
39:05
to be Bad Blood. They're bringing that pay per view back. So here's
39:09
some early match predictions. Drew McIntyre and seem Punk Helen USL. I could
39:15
definitely see that live Morgan and Rio Ripley for the Women's World Championship int the
39:22
Helenasel match. That's the best way to keep people out. Roman reigns with
39:27
Paul Hayman versus Jacob Fatu with Solo Sequoia. I could see that Roman,
39:31
I think, is gonna come back and be at more dates since he took
39:35
some time off, and the USOS coming back together versus Tomatanga and Tonga Loa.
39:44
I could see that happening. USOS definitely are gonna get back together and
39:46
get into this blood line storyline, and this is gonna lead into Survivor series,
39:51
which will be a war Games match with the new blood line versus the
39:55
old blood line. Roman's gonna bring back to USOS and a few other people
40:00
with him to take on the bloodline that's there now. And then they got
40:05
Damian Priest and Finnballer. But it doesn't say for the world heavyweight titles.
40:10
I don't know what they're thinking with that, but I could see all those
40:14
matches happening. I mean, we're a little soon to really do that,
40:21
but yeah, I could definitely see that happening, and I think those would
40:23
be some really good matches. We'll see how true these become, but I
40:28
think a lot of them will. All right, let's move on to the
40:30
box office for last week, and let's see where everything ended up. Alright,
40:37
so number ten The Fall Guy Man. That movie is still going in
40:40
there hasn't hit one hundred million yet, but it's still going. In ten
40:45
weeks released, it did eight hundred and seventy one thousand at the box office
40:49
last weekend total gross of ninety two million dollars. Number nine, The Bike
40:53
Riders weekend gross did one point three million. It's done twenty million so far
41:00
in three weeks. Number eight was Kelki twenty eight ninety eight AD did one
41:07
point eight million last week, seven point three million total gross in two weeks.
41:14
Number seven was the Sound of Hope The Story of Possum Trot did three
41:19
point one million weekend gross and seven point seven million total gross in its first
41:24
week. Number six Horizon in American Soccer Chapter one weekend gross of five point
41:30
four million, did twenty three million total gross in two weeks. Bad Boys
41:36
Rider Die, still in the top ten or in the top five, did
41:39
a weekend gross of six point seven million, a weekend gross or a total
41:44
gross of one hundred and seventy nine million. In the five weeks. This
41:49
movie Maxine, What Is This? Did a weekend gross. It's Maxine with
41:53
triple X highlighted all right, We're gonna have to look this up. What
41:59
is this about? Says the nineteen eighties Hollywood adult film star that makes sense.
42:06
An aspiring actress, Maxine Minx finally gets her big break, but as
42:09
a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Hollywood. A trail of blood throwns to
42:15
reveal her sinister past. Wow, that actually sounds really good. I don't
42:21
know why, but it sounds really good. I would definitely see that movie.
42:25
Who's the girl that plays Maxine? Hmmm, I don't even know.
42:30
All right, well, it did pretty decent in the box office. It
42:34
looks like it's Charlie Rowan, McCain's Simon prest and Miagas. I don't know.
42:44
That's pretty crazy. Sounds good though, but uh yeah, So it
42:49
did pretty good at the box office. It looks like six point seven million
42:55
for a weekend gross and total gross in its first week. Not too bad.
43:00
Number three a quiet place day one and its second week did twenty one
43:05
million. It grossed one hundred million altogether so far. Number two Inside Out
43:09
two still going strong, thirty million last weekend, five hundred and forty four
43:15
million dollars in four weeks. Jesus Lord, that's amazing. And number one,
43:22
everybody knew the Minions we're gonna take over Despicable. Despicable Me four did
43:28
seventy five million at the box office and a total gross of one hundred and
43:32
forty seven million in its first week. So bravo to those two kids movies
43:37
doing great. Bad Boys still in the thicket in the top five. It's
43:42
a great time for movies. I did what I told everybody I was gonna
43:46
do. I watched it. Uh Sunday night, me, my wife,
43:52
and my mother in law sat down and we watched Beverly Hills Cop four XLF
43:58
amazing movie and that's why it has set a twenty twenty four record for Netflix
44:04
following its debut and taken in a mass of forty one million views in the
44:09
first few days of release, becoming the biggest debut of the year for Netflix,
44:13
ahead of previous record holder Damsels thirty five point three million that they did.
44:19
So, yes, that was an amazing movie. Oh my god,
44:22
I you know, I had so much nostalgia on that movie from I'm not
44:27
gonna give away spoilers because there's people who probably haven't seen it yet, but
44:30
just everybody knows that Paul Reiser came back, all the originals came back.
44:37
Gordon Joseph Levitt is in the movie, so he brings in that nineties nostalgia
44:43
from like movies like Ten Things I Hate About You and all that. And
44:46
then of course Eddie Murphy. Amazing job for a guy who's like sixty three
44:52
years old. He moves, he was still moving, a lot of action,
44:58
funny you know, and stuff like that. So definitely, I'm not
45:02
gonna give it away, but I gave it five stars, but I'm not
45:07
gonna give away anything in it because obviously some people haven't seen yet it's only
45:10
been out a week. But definitely, if you didn't see it last week
45:15
and last weekend, sit down at home on a hot day this weekend in
45:19
your air conditioner and watch Beverly Hills cop fo XLF. The new Eminem CD
45:25
comes out, I believe tomorrow. Let me see it, says. Eminem
45:37
unveils track list for the Death of Slim Shady Coop de Grace and here it
45:42
is, comes out this Friday, so yeah, definitely check it out.
45:49
But here we go nineteen songs, well a couple skits too, so not
45:53
all songs, but here's the track list. Number one, Renaissance number two,
45:59
Will be Habits number three, Trouble number four, Brand New Dance number
46:02
five, Evil number six, A Skit All You Got number seven, Lucifer
46:08
number eight, Anti Christ number nine, Fuel number ten, Road Rage number
46:15
eleven, Houdini number twelve, Breaking New skit, Oh my Lord number thirteen,
46:23
Guilty Conscience too. Everybody remembers Guilty Conscience with him and Doctor Dre.
46:30
I'm telling you now, Eminem is going back to slim Shady for this whole
46:37
album, and it's gonna be amazing. People are gonna want to cancel him
46:43
and he's just gonna tell them to go f off. You Don't Care number
46:45
fourteen, Head Honcho number fifteen, Temporary number sixteen, Bad One Number seventeen
46:54
was the second single off the album Toby featuring Big Sean and Baby Tron eighteen.
47:00
Guess Who's Back? Skit nineteen, Somebody Saved Me, It says.
47:06
One standout track that's bound to get longtime fans excited is Guilty Conscience to a
47:10
sequel to the nineteen ninety nine hit that featured Doctor Dre, with Dre having
47:15
previously confirmed his involvement in M's latest project. Expectations are high for this fresh
47:21
take on a classic collab. So yes, man, I'm telling you now,
47:27
I'm excited. I can't wait. So July twelfth, that's tomorrow,
47:30
so I'll make sure you check that out. Let's move on sad news in
47:38
Hollywood today, as actor Shelley Duvall passed away at the age of seventy five.
47:45
She played Olive Oil in the Popeye movie From When I Was a Kid,
47:50
and she was also in the movie The Shining. So very very sad,
47:53
you know, I mean seventy five. You know, people obviously do
47:58
pass away, but it's always sad when it's people that you grew up watching
48:00
in TV and movies or music or athletes that you watch growing up. So
48:06
that's always sad. But rest in peace to her. And this weekend,
48:12
maybe go watch a Shelley Devall movie. I'll give you a quick list of
48:15
some of the movies she's been in and it's amazing to see. But she
48:19
was actually acting. As of twenty twenty three. She did a movie called
48:22
The Forest Hills where she played Mama in it. It's spent a lot of
48:28
stuff home Fries Casper meets Wendy Rocketman. She was uncredited in that one.
48:38
I'm just giving you guys some movies with her in it if you want to
48:42
see things that she's done. She was in an episode of Frasier. Let's
48:47
see Suburban Commando. That was one of my favorites. Ohal Coogan and Christopher
48:53
Lloyd was in there. That was a good movie. Definitely checked that one
48:57
out. Let's see. She was in the Tea TV series in an episode
49:00
of The Twilight Zone Time Bandit's Popeye. She played Olive Oil. Let's see,
49:10
Bretta, this isn't some good good stuff thieves like us. And of
49:17
course she was in The Shining So definitely go check. Oh Annie Hall too,
49:22
she was in So make sure you go check some of those out this
49:24
weekend. If you were a fan of Chelle Duval, rest in peace to
49:28
her. But yeah, really really sad. That's it. That's pretty much
49:36
it for the show today. Nothing else to talk about. We've got stuff
49:39
to talk about Next week though, training camps will officially be open for rookies,
49:45
so we'll talk a little bit about some NFL stuff. Actually, we're
49:49
gonna start getting into our fantasy football. I'm gonna find out the top quarterbacks
49:52
for fantasy football, and every week I'm gonna take a different position. We'll
50:00
start with quarterback, running back, wide receivers, We'll go into some defenses,
50:07
and we'll do all that leading into We want to get to the end
50:09
of August, because that's when most people do their fantasy football once preseason ends.
50:15
Most people wait till the end of preseason because you want to see who
50:17
gets hurt. If any players look good or bad in preseason games, then
50:22
you'll know what to do with that. But yeah, we'll talk about next
50:25
week we'll kick off fantasy football. We're talking about the top quarterbacks to look
50:30
at for this year for your picks. And then next week we'll talk some
50:36
Olympics. We'll go into what games are gonna be starting, what's gonna be
50:39
happening. Is there. We'll talk about obviously entertainment, news and some more
50:46
stuff. Maybe in basketball. Like I said, there really was anything major
50:50
besides DeMar derozen leaving. Oh. Actually, I do have one more thing
50:53
that I forgot to mention. It's a trade for zach Lavine. And honestly,
51:00
this one a lot of people would be on board with if it would
51:02
happen. But let's see. Let me go and find that really quick and
51:07
we will see if anybody agrees. If you agree, let me know,
51:14
Okay, So Chicago Bulls receive guard Ford, Brandon Ingram and Ford Andrew Wiggins.
51:20
Golden State receives Guard Ford Zach Lavigne. New Orleans Pelicans receive Senator Nikolai
51:25
I Vukovic, guard Gary Payton, the third Senator Kevin kevon Looney, a
51:34
twenty twenty five first round pick lottery protected via Portland Trailblazers, twenty twenty eight
51:39
and twenty twenty nine second round picks via the Chicago Bulls. I like that
51:45
trade if they could get that done. They did try to trade Golden State
51:49
before, but they couldn't work out a deal. But with a three team
51:52
deal, I think that could happen. So we'll see what happens there.
51:55
That would be an awesome trade. I'll see everybody next week. Make sure
52:00
you enjoy your weekend. I'm going to Westmont tonight, west Mont, Illinois
52:06
to watch High Infidelity perform at the Westmont Taste that's going on this weekend.
52:13
So if you're in the area and you see me out about, say what's
52:15
up. I'll be out there, but yeah, until then, I will
52:19
see everybody next week. I hope everybody has a great weekend. Stay safe
52:22
out there, stay healthy, and I love you all a lot. See
52:27
you next week. Peace and st
