As Asaph laments, however, he remembers that the very act of Creation was a deed of deliverance. Making things from nothing, the Lord did battle. Nothingness is not neutral. Existence is not natural to nothingness. Nihilism rejects all reality as without meaning and purpose, neither created nor formed. That’s the religion of the post-modern man, confessing that we have killed God, and with His death His Word has been silenced. But that is a lie. The most ardent nihilist believer in nothing will question why live at all.
