  Hello friends, it's Sean here. Well done, you've made it to the

  end of the week. It is Friday.

  It's the 4th of October. And here we find ourselves ready
• 0:22
  to read a Psalm together. And I don't even know how many
• 0:27
  weeks. It's been so long that we have
• 0:29
  been journeying, ascending to Jerusalem as pilgrims on this
• 0:34
  road together. And today is the final day that
• 0:38
  we do that. Yes, the psalms will continue,
• 0:40
  but today is the last Psalm that begins with a song for pilgrims
• 0:45
  ascending to Jerusalem. So I guess that means at the end
• 0:48
  of today's Psalm, we will reach the top of the hill and we will
• 0:51
  have ascended to Jerusalem, which is fitting because next
• 0:55
  week Psalm 135 is a great Psalm of praise.
• 0:58
  But today, today is a short and sweet Psalm.

  It's only three verses long. It's a beautiful Psalm of praise
• 1:07
  as together we really are pilgrims, friends, walking along
• 1:10
  this road through life with a God who is so wonderful and
• 1:15
  deserving of our praise. And so today that is what we are
• 1:19
  going to give him, as you and I open our hearts.
• 1:23
  And so, Lord, accept these words from our hearts, Your Psalm,
• 1:28
  Your Psalm of praise that we rendered to you as our offering
• 1:33
  of praise. Well, what more is there to do,
• 1:39
  friends, than to read this Psalm together?
• 1:42
  Read it with me in your heart. As we say together the words of
• 1:45
  Psalm 134. I'll praise the Lord.

  All you servants of the Lord, you who serve at night in the
• 2:05
  House of the Lord, lift your hands toward the sanctuary and
• 2:12
  praise the Lord. May the Lord who made heaven and
• 2:17
  earth bless you from Jerusalem. Our Lord, we eagerly await this
• 2:33
  day, this day when we will finish this journey as pilgrims
• 2:38
  heading toward you in your city. And we will arrive and we will
• 2:43
  see you face to face. And you will bless us from your
• 2:47
  place in Jerusalem, that new city that you will build as you
• 2:52
  transform this world to be as you always intended it to be.
• 2:58
  Perfect place where we, your people, can live in praise of
• 3:02
  you and perfect unity with you and each other.
• 3:07
  Ah, what a mind boggling thing that will be.
• 3:12
  And we thank you that even as we journey toward that point, you
• 3:16
  from your throne continue to bless us in this broken world.
• 3:22
  As we head towards you, keep our eyes fixed on you, keep our
• 3:27
  hearts as the hearts of a Pilgrim, part of a greater
• 3:32
  mission to journey towards you and to serve you, our God.
• 3:37
  And so we worship you, we praise you, and we pray all of these
• 3:42
  things in the wonderful name of Jesus, Amen.
