The False Focus
When church life becomes about managing people, filling pews, or meeting personal expectations, something vital is lost. Worship turns into pressure, and faith shifts from honoring God to fixing others. That false focus makes it harder not easier to come before the Lord.
Christ’s church exists first for God’s Kingdom and His righteousness (Matt. 6:33). When faith is reduced to “what it does for me,” the center moves from God to man. The question that exposes everything remains:
What is the focus of your faith God, or yourself?
