- 0:03Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to another episode of The Bus
- 0:06Speaker 1: with the Boys Spring Tour. We are in ASU, but
- 0:08Speaker 1: before we get started, we must talk to you about
- 0:09Speaker 1: the most durable, reliable vehicle on the road, and that
- 0:12Speaker 1: is Chevrolet. Chevrolet is a trusted company that has been
- 0:16Speaker 1: innovating for the past one hundred years. Up to now,
- 0:18Speaker 1: most electric vehicles have been either too expensive, too small,
- 0:21Speaker 1: and too limited in.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Capabilities for most people.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Chevalle has committed to making EV's available for all Americans.
- 0:27Speaker 1: There is a growing network of public charting stations. There
- 0:29Speaker 1: are over nineteen hundred certified Chevy EV dealerships. Chevy has
- 0:33Speaker 1: convenient ways to research and shop EV online. EV's for
- 0:39Speaker 1: everyone everywhere. You guys need to looking to get one
- 0:41Speaker 1: of those, They're bill like, Yeah, there's no question.
- 0:45Speaker 2: You guys are some big gentlemen.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Yeah, And I want to apologize to you in advent.
- 0:49Speaker 1: I know that you're on team Maroon. Actually that's the
- 0:51Speaker 1: good way to start this. How do you feel knowing
- 0:54Speaker 1: that you're walking to a game today, probably going to lose,
- 0:58Speaker 1: But that's got to be a tough fee.
- 1:00Speaker 4: I don't I don't ever go into a game thing
- 1:03Speaker 4: I'm gonna lose. I'm gonna just I'm gonna just say
- 1:05Speaker 4: that first and foremost. But going against my teammates, I'm
- 1:08Speaker 4: just gonna make sure that I keep them healthy. So
- 1:10Speaker 4: that's that's probably the main thing. I'll disagreed.
- 1:16Speaker 1: I thought your other teammates on Team Gold and they
- 1:18Speaker 1: are not focused on keeping people healthy.
- 1:21Speaker 4: Well, they're also on the outside. They're not really in
- 1:23Speaker 4: the box, like you know what I mean, if I come,
- 1:26Speaker 4: if somebody come.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Across the middle, Jalen, hey, they're gonna get kissed, you.
- 1:32Speaker 4: Know, doing anything outrageous.
- 1:37Speaker 2: But yeah, I don't go into no game thing we're
- 1:40Speaker 2: gonna lose.
- 1:40Speaker 1: So you never once in your life went to a
- 1:43Speaker 1: football game and thought we're probably not gonna win.
- 1:45Speaker 2: No play at Washington State, are you sure? Well, I'm
- 1:52Speaker 2: pretty sure.
- 1:53Speaker 4: Even when I was there, I still didn't think we
- 1:55Speaker 4: were gonna still gonna lose.
- 1:57Speaker 2: So still optimistic.
- 1:58Speaker 4: Yeah, just competitive, right, I mean, yeah, seven and something.
- 2:08Speaker 2: I don't know. Waitning Nebraska, I think so I transferred.
- 2:13Speaker 1: I don't know. Okay, there is a level in college
- 2:15Speaker 1: when you play in college, Like when I went to
- 2:17Speaker 1: Michigan and I was with Rich Rodriguez, and Bratty Hope.
- 2:20Speaker 2: It was the darkest days in Michigan school history.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Rich Ron oh Man wild Man, Well, I mean crazy,
- 2:27Speaker 1: it wasn't really back then.
- 2:28Speaker 2: I've never recruited by him out of high school to
- 2:31Speaker 2: go to u of A.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, and you didn't want to go there. No,
- 2:34Speaker 1: that's fair, that is fair to is like that. But
- 2:37Speaker 1: when you're in college, like you legit. Never I never
- 2:39Speaker 1: once went into a game thinking we were gonna lose.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Even looking back on it and seeing like the lack
- 2:44Speaker 1: of talent. We had talent that other teams had, like
- 2:46Speaker 1: Ohio State, even Michigan State back then, they had crazy talent.
- 2:49Speaker 1: So it is one of those deals you never feel
- 2:50Speaker 1: like you're going to lose. When he gets to the
- 2:52Speaker 1: NFL and you get a little older, you can just
- 2:55Speaker 1: kind of start to realize, hey, this seems a lot
- 2:57Speaker 1: better than us.
- 2:58Speaker 5: Yeah, you can see where, you can see where we
- 3:01Speaker 5: could be exposed if you're not executing at the highest
- 3:06Speaker 5: level you know what I mean, to like eliminate somebody
- 3:08Speaker 5: from the game, or you know you can't this team's
- 3:10Speaker 5: great in the red zone type of situation, you know
- 3:12Speaker 5: what I mean. Yeah, I was all for me it
- 3:15Speaker 5: was just it was the one on one matchups out
- 3:20Speaker 5: of the backfield. Anytime I felt like I would be
- 3:22Speaker 5: isolated on the outside, you know, on the perimeter, it's
- 3:26Speaker 5: when my asshole got tight yea. And for me, as
- 3:28Speaker 5: long as I could say outside of that, I felt alright,
- 3:30Speaker 5: felt good about it.
- 3:31Speaker 2: You know what I'm talking about. Yes, I understand that feeling.
- 3:34Speaker 4: Yeah, Like especially if you got somebody like say Sakuon
- 3:37Speaker 4: bark out.
- 3:38Speaker 5: Bro, he loves coach Lovesquon, and then they just yell
- 3:42Speaker 5: at you like stay inside and you're just like, man, Bro,
- 3:45Speaker 5: you don't understand that out here, But this motherfucker it's.
- 3:48Speaker 4: Like okay, when you're on that field, you got the
- 3:49Speaker 4: inside leverage and you see him breaking everything's telling you
- 3:52Speaker 4: he's breaking out. But then he does some move that
- 3:54Speaker 4: you're like, damn yeah in the middle of the playing
- 3:57Speaker 4: like gotta recovery.
- 3:58Speaker 1: When you guys get into a football game, they're like,
- 4:00Speaker 1: what are the biggest levels of stress that you deal with?
- 4:03Speaker 1: Is it is it the man the man coverage for you?
- 4:05Speaker 1: Is it blocking? Like what do we what is the
- 4:08Speaker 1: biggest thing that that affects us? Like we were like, fuck,
- 4:10Speaker 1: I hope I don't mess up these couple of things,
- 4:12Speaker 1: and then it'll be a good day, probably.
- 4:13Speaker 6: For me blocking just because you know, I grew up
- 4:15Speaker 6: being a receiver, so I never really had to do it.
- 4:17Speaker 6: And then coming here said change on mind, so like
- 4:20Speaker 6: I had to change my whole mindsets. Like you know,
- 4:22Speaker 6: I remember last year I d big Dn was giving
- 4:25Speaker 6: me the work at first yeast Lie.
- 4:30Speaker 3: We almost came back. We had a very slow start,
- 4:33Speaker 3: we got a very solo start, but we always came
- 4:34Speaker 3: back at.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Then very slow start.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Man, So what made you what made you transfer from
- 4:39Speaker 1: Washington State to here?
- 4:40Speaker 4: Honestly, I graduated and I had the choice to either
- 4:43Speaker 4: stay or leave. And uh, there were some trust issues
- 4:46Speaker 4: that I had with some of the coaches at the
- 4:48Speaker 4: other place. But this coaching staff that Delingham brought in
- 4:55Speaker 4: a lot of the coaches that I knew at Washington,
- 4:57Speaker 4: Like a couple of the defensive coordinators came over here.
- 4:59Speaker 4: So Coach Coop and Coach Ward, those were my guys
- 5:03Speaker 4: that honestly would tell me the truth in my game.
- 5:06Speaker 4: And truth was a big thing for me, especially with
- 5:09Speaker 4: coaches because I've seen coaches Moore's family, So when your
- 5:14Speaker 4: family member lies to you kind of see them a
- 5:15Speaker 4: little bit differently, you know. So the biggest reason why
- 5:20Speaker 4: I came was because of that truth aspect, and I
- 5:22Speaker 4: know I was going to get something real, Like they
- 5:24Speaker 4: were going to tell me something that wasn't just some
- 5:26Speaker 4: stuff to tell me so I can end up staying,
- 5:29Speaker 4: but they were going to tell me the truth, and
- 5:31Speaker 4: that's why I chose here.
- 5:32Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 5:32Speaker 5: Yeah, Jail, and you have a you're a podcaster. Yeah yeah,
- 5:36Speaker 5: I see you got a show going on. Talk to
- 5:38Speaker 5: us about that a little bit.
- 5:39Speaker 6: Oh yeah, I'm a like a journalism majors. So it
- 5:43Speaker 6: was kind of time I always wanted to get into.
- 5:44Speaker 6: I never really had the resources to do so until
- 5:47Speaker 6: I reached out wait on the podcast for like Phoenix,
- 5:50Speaker 6: pH and X and they're like, hey, you're really good
- 5:51Speaker 6: at this and I was like thank you, and they're like,
- 5:53Speaker 6: would you ever like want to host your owners like
- 5:54Speaker 6: I've always wanted to. I mean I've always watched y'all
- 5:56Speaker 6: and the Kelsey Brothers and Pat McAfee, So that was
- 5:59Speaker 6: kind of like my mind that going into I want
- 6:00Speaker 6: to do something similar to that, but obviously from a
- 6:02Speaker 6: college perspective, that is playing every week and that you know,
- 6:05Speaker 6: like even if like you lose a game on Saturday
- 6:07Speaker 6: and you gotta come on Wednesday and talk about it,
- 6:09Speaker 6: like you just gotta be it's real life. It's like
- 6:10Speaker 6: that was the something I thought'd be cool to get
- 6:12Speaker 6: a little different perspective, and it's been successful so far.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Have you liked it?
- 6:15Speaker 3: Yeah, it's been super fun.
- 6:17Speaker 6: It's like it's funny because it's like it's not like
- 6:19Speaker 6: an interview anymore. It's just talking like you're having a
- 6:21Speaker 6: conversation with cameras in front of you. So I think
- 6:24Speaker 6: that was the biggest difference for me at first, Like
- 6:25Speaker 6: the first one was very like robotic, and you know,
- 6:27Speaker 6: I was almost like reading off a script. And then
- 6:29Speaker 6: finally it got more normal.
- 6:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I get guys like.
- 6:31Speaker 4: Trey Brown on we get to talk about this And
- 6:34Speaker 4: he also said on one of his podcasts that he
- 6:36Speaker 4: was being able to guard.
- 6:37Speaker 6: And because I will I played dB in high school.
- 6:40Speaker 6: You're not faster than me. Actually it's close. I'll cover
- 6:44Speaker 6: you if you're.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Waiver a little bit like you sound it when he said,
- 6:50Speaker 1: oh shit, he's faster him and then.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Turns it fast.
- 6:52Speaker 6: But if I get my hands on if I get
- 6:54Speaker 6: my hands on.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Right way, we could get a one on one line
- 6:57Speaker 2: up today.
- 6:57Speaker 3: We've been telling coach Dilly, we need it.
- 6:59Speaker 2: We were waiting they going to today.
- 7:01Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly, we can make that happen.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Let me know, the head coaches, let me know.
- 7:05Speaker 3: I'm ready.
- 7:05Speaker 2: We'll call it, you know after the chorus, Yeah.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Okay, you're ready.
- 7:13Speaker 2: The middle, Yeah, I'm talking to the middle on the
- 7:16Speaker 2: house high.
- 7:19Speaker 6: You're not getting inside and then you're definitely not catching
- 7:21Speaker 6: a fade and you're not getting by me.
- 7:22Speaker 3: It's like, what are you gonna do? What are you
- 7:24Speaker 3: gonna do?
- 7:25Speaker 2: We'll find out right out.
- 7:27Speaker 6: I'm not saying right this coach said, Okay, let it
- 7:31Speaker 6: happen real see.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Going back to your podcast real Quick, you said it
- 7:33Speaker 1: was robotic at first and then started to get feel
- 7:35Speaker 1: more and more normal. When did you feel that like
- 7:37Speaker 1: transitioning happened. How many episodes are you done?
- 7:39Speaker 3: Also done? Three? So I just had.
- 7:41Speaker 6: I did one by myself and then the other one
- 7:43Speaker 6: was with my co host and then that dally on
- 7:45Speaker 6: the third one. I think I think the second one
- 7:47Speaker 6: was where I started to feel it, but the third
- 7:49Speaker 6: one where like it was really just a conversation with
- 7:51Speaker 6: me and Coach Dellingham and stuff, and it was very normal.
- 7:53Speaker 6: We talked about a bunch of fun stuff, you know,
- 7:55Speaker 6: we got into like some hot takes. He talked about,
- 7:57Speaker 6: you know, start bitch cutting people. Like we just did
- 7:59Speaker 6: fun stuff like that, and I think that was where
- 8:01Speaker 6: it got more normal for me, as in, like, hey man,
- 8:03Speaker 6: this is just fun, like to have a little conversation,
- 8:05Speaker 6: you know, stir up a little stirrup a little bit,
- 8:06Speaker 6: nothing like professional or anything.
- 8:08Speaker 1: So yeah, it is there is like having those bits
- 8:11Speaker 1: like start bench cut, like those things are always fun
- 8:13Speaker 1: things to go into.
- 8:14Speaker 2: We do like tiar talk and not a never really
- 8:15Speaker 2: shout it.
- 8:16Speaker 1: It's like a fun way to kind of move from
- 8:18Speaker 1: conversation to like your own weekly thing that everybody can
- 8:20Speaker 1: kind of join into.
- 8:21Speaker 6: Yeah, I think at first it's funny because it's like transitioning,
- 8:24Speaker 6: like you start a topic and then like I always
- 8:26Speaker 6: wanted to be like, oh yeah, next topic, Like you
- 8:28Speaker 6: don't got to say that. It's just like you know,
- 8:29Speaker 6: getting into just having a normal conversation talking just like
- 8:31Speaker 6: yeah fluid.
- 8:32Speaker 3: So that's the biggest thing for me. But I got it.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Now, how long do you want to keep it going.
- 8:35Speaker 6: I want to go as long as I can. It's
- 8:37Speaker 6: every week so far has been more and more views.
- 8:39Speaker 6: So like that's why I think the coolest part is
- 8:41Speaker 6: I'm starting to I'm going to start having a lot
- 8:42Speaker 6: of my teammates song, especially with spring ball being over,
- 8:44Speaker 6: is talking about fun stuff, talking about hooping, golfing like
- 8:47Speaker 6: stuff like that, because we all, you know, we all
- 8:48Speaker 6: find stuff to go do outside uh football, like once
- 8:51Speaker 6: it's over during springball. So I want to keep it going.
- 8:53Speaker 6: Obviously going to the NFL, like, I'd love to keep
- 8:55Speaker 6: it going there, you know, hopefully maybe compete you all
- 8:58Speaker 6: a little bit for views, maybe a little bit, just
- 8:59Speaker 6: a little bit, a little bit behind, a little bit,
- 9:02Speaker 6: a little bit a little bit. But I know y'all
- 9:05Speaker 6: got a lot of yours.
- 9:07Speaker 1: In this podcast where you start off so confident and
- 9:10Speaker 1: then you kind of but you know, we don't got
- 9:11Speaker 1: to it's not it's not.
- 9:12Speaker 2: The you know, there's so many eyes and the ears
- 9:15Speaker 2: out there. The gold what did you say, that's a
- 9:17Speaker 2: gold thing? Yeah, playing the egg games early, don't even
- 9:21Speaker 2: buy into that.
- 9:23Speaker 3: We'll just play ball is exactly. Well, we already talked
- 9:25Speaker 3: about it all week. You're ready talk some ship.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Well, let you guys handle it on the field.
- 9:29Speaker 5: Deal would be you keep it going, you get to
- 9:31Speaker 5: the next level, and everything else it's still going and
- 9:33Speaker 5: we just all collab on each other.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Would be super fun, exactly.
- 9:38Speaker 2: That is a thing too.
- 9:39Speaker 1: I feel like the podcast world is not I mean,
- 9:41Speaker 1: it can be competitive for other people. For us, it's
- 9:43Speaker 1: like there's so many years people listening to multiple ones.
- 9:45Speaker 1: It's how you're just die in the hell for one.
- 9:47Speaker 1: I can keep moving forward.
- 9:48Speaker 6: I think that's the coolest thing too. Is like a
- 9:50Speaker 6: lot of them, Like even like between you, the Kelsey Russ,
- 9:52Speaker 6: Pat McFee y'all, was like them three.
- 9:53Speaker 3: I watched the most.
- 9:54Speaker 6: It's just like yard the same, but it's so different,
- 9:56Speaker 6: Like you'll have the all the same groceations, but say
- 9:58Speaker 6: it's different perspectives everything. So with mine, that's just why
- 10:01Speaker 6: I try to keep like minds of players perspective. I'm
- 10:03Speaker 6: twenty one years old and still in college. You know,
- 10:05Speaker 6: a lot of people ask me questions like sometimes I'm like,
- 10:07Speaker 6: I can't answer that right now, but when I get
- 10:09Speaker 6: when I'm two years older in the league, I'll answer
- 10:11Speaker 6: that question. But I think that's just the coolest thing
- 10:13Speaker 6: is like you get a different tier level of perspective.
- 10:15Speaker 1: It'll be fun to see like your mindset and how
- 10:16Speaker 1: you think about things. Bial do you get in only
- 10:19Speaker 1: little being able to come back and watch those first
- 10:21Speaker 1: three episodes and how you view things then and maybe
- 10:24Speaker 1: do this five ten years down the road you can
- 10:26Speaker 1: look back and be like, man, I think way differently
- 10:28Speaker 1: now than I did back then exactly. But y'all were
- 10:30Speaker 1: bringing up you were talking about having the boys on
- 10:32Speaker 1: and stuff doing outside of football, golf, hope all that,
- 10:35Speaker 1: Like what is like the main selling point for you
- 10:37Speaker 1: guys when it comes to ten pe Arizona getting other
- 10:39Speaker 1: guys out here.
- 10:40Speaker 6: For me, I think, like, first of all, you can't
- 10:42Speaker 6: beat this weather like Colorado's was practicing like two weeks
- 10:45Speaker 6: ago and thirty degree weather or whatever, Like we're it's
- 10:48Speaker 6: literally like this all the time. Summer gets hot. But
- 10:50Speaker 6: like obviously I think that's like an advantage we get,
- 10:52Speaker 6: especially when the season comes around, just getting to work
- 10:54Speaker 6: out in that and honestly, like y'all know, like who
- 10:56Speaker 6: doesn't love tempy if you've been out that's those ten
- 10:59Speaker 6: minutes way, That's all I gotta.
- 11:02Speaker 4: Say, understand, Samby is a is a one of a
- 11:07Speaker 4: kind place. I'd say that for sure, especially from from
- 11:09Speaker 4: pum Yeah, where it's under ice and snow and sleep
- 11:13Speaker 4: and all that.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Yeah, you were not in the same place. Man. It's
- 11:17Speaker 2: a it's a culture shock.
- 11:18Speaker 6: I think a lot of opportunities too, like the opportunities
- 11:21Speaker 6: you can get outside of football around here, just with
- 11:23Speaker 6: businesses and like getting like for me, like I got
- 11:25Speaker 6: to start a podcast ten minutes away from here in Phoenix,
- 11:27Speaker 6: So I think just in terms of that and you know,
- 11:29Speaker 6: getting to be around like certain people and just hearing
- 11:31Speaker 6: like everyone what they have to say and stuff is
- 11:33Speaker 6: like you get hold you can get our podcast, you
- 11:36Speaker 6: can you know, you can start working for a company,
- 11:38Speaker 6: like I know a lot of guys that have jobs
- 11:40Speaker 6: set up already after here that they're going to start
- 11:42Speaker 6: living here for the next ten years. So I think
- 11:44Speaker 6: that's one of the coolest things about It's just like
- 11:45Speaker 6: the metro kind of area about it.
- 11:48Speaker 5: Trey, what are you looking to accomplish this year that
- 11:51Speaker 5: you transferred? You got to kind of go hit the portal,
- 11:53Speaker 5: go wherever you wanted to go. What do you individually
- 11:55Speaker 5: looking to accomplish?
- 11:57Speaker 4: Uh, mainly just being the best version of me. Like
- 12:02Speaker 4: the individual accolades, all that stuff is good, but I
- 12:04Speaker 4: just want to be the best man. I want to
- 12:05Speaker 4: be the most dominant me. I want to be a
- 12:08Speaker 4: leader that everybody looks up to. I want to be
- 12:10Speaker 4: a captain that people know if I'm speaking on something,
- 12:14Speaker 4: it means something, and vice versa. I'm just looking to
- 12:18Speaker 4: be that teammate that everybody has, that loves and have
- 12:23Speaker 4: like that passion for the game, you know, So really
- 12:28Speaker 4: just being the best version of me. You know, all
- 12:30Speaker 4: the statistics and all that stuff will come with the game,
- 12:32Speaker 4: but really just looking to be in the best version
- 12:34Speaker 4: of me.
- 12:35Speaker 5: When what kind of weaknesses do you see that you
- 12:37Speaker 5: have that you want to work.
- 12:38Speaker 4: On, I'd say out in the space obviously, like like
- 12:44Speaker 4: we talked about earlier, if we had to guard somebody
- 12:46Speaker 4: like Manna, we had to guard somebody like yeah, if
- 12:50Speaker 4: we had to guard somebody man on man out in
- 12:52Speaker 4: the apex or you know, just something like that in
- 12:54Speaker 4: different coverages, that'll be something that I'm like, I'm always
- 12:57Speaker 4: working on, especially like right now in the spring, and
- 13:02Speaker 4: really that I mean, I'd say that's pretty much it.
- 13:05Speaker 2: If I can be more roc C.
- 13:06Speaker 4: If I can be a better coach to you know,
- 13:08Speaker 4: other guys that have been on other defense as well,
- 13:10Speaker 4: I can improve there too.
- 13:12Speaker 5: So it always just check Rat. Yeah on the inside.
- 13:17Speaker 5: I mean they leave the box, check Rat bring it
- 13:19Speaker 5: back in. What do you think, coach Dilly? Yeah, that's
- 13:22Speaker 5: a great idea.
- 13:22Speaker 2: That's a good idea. That's a good idea. What do
- 13:25Speaker 2: you guys see the expectation for this season?
- 13:29Speaker 6: Shoot Rose Bowl? For sure, at the least, I'd be
- 13:34Speaker 6: serious when I say it's like last year. You know,
- 13:36Speaker 6: obviously we're in a weird situation with coaching, you know,
- 13:38Speaker 6: stuff like that, But like we were a really good team.
- 13:40Speaker 6: I think obviously there were some pieces missing, and you know,
- 13:43Speaker 6: we you know, we just had to deal with a
- 13:44Speaker 6: little bit of adversity. But I'm not kid when I
- 13:47Speaker 6: say this, like coach Dellingham brought in, like already brought
- 13:49Speaker 6: in a culture that's way different and that you know,
- 13:51Speaker 6: I've been a ou and I've been here for two
- 13:53Speaker 6: years or two different coaches, and it's just way different.
- 13:55Speaker 6: This team is more together than I've ever seen any
- 13:57Speaker 6: team together. I think we genuinely have a chance to
- 14:00Speaker 6: go do that. I mean We were in games last
- 14:02Speaker 6: year where you know, we'd be Washington and they were
- 14:04Speaker 6: one win away from the playoff. You know, we were
- 14:06Speaker 6: in the game with you as see, you know till
- 14:08Speaker 6: about the third quarter. I think we can hang with
- 14:10Speaker 6: those guys, and you know, with the new pieces we
- 14:11Speaker 6: have in the offense and the defense, you know that
- 14:13Speaker 6: we're gonna be able to bring out I seriously think
- 14:14Speaker 6: we have a chance to do something specially here.
- 14:16Speaker 2: What do you think is done differently culture wise?
- 14:18Speaker 5: Being Oklahoma, being two eight coaches here states a lot
- 14:21Speaker 5: of different teams, more together than any team you've been on.
- 14:23Speaker 2: What's what what makes it difference?
- 14:24Speaker 6: I think the biggest thing is just like getting the
- 14:26Speaker 6: players like to do what you know, like it's player
- 14:29Speaker 6: led at the end of the day, Like coaches are
- 14:31Speaker 6: gorivy here and they're gona tell you what to do
- 14:32Speaker 6: at the end of the day.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Like if the players are not together, then like it's
- 14:35Speaker 3: not gonna mean anything.
- 14:36Speaker 6: I think, you know, us just even being outside going
- 14:38Speaker 6: to do stuff together is being around each other or
- 14:40Speaker 6: like you know, just having like little events in here,
- 14:42Speaker 6: doing team camp, you know where we're going like for
- 14:44Speaker 6: the same thing. Like I think a lot of it was,
- 14:46Speaker 6: you know, I think something there was individual based stuff before,
- 14:49Speaker 6: like when you know previous teams I've been on, which
- 14:50Speaker 6: you know, obviously some people are gonna be like that
- 14:52Speaker 6: in general everywhere you go. But I think here, you know,
- 14:54Speaker 6: it's very it's way less, and I think a lot
- 14:56Speaker 6: of it is like, hey, like, if we're gonna win,
- 14:58Speaker 6: we got to be successful and we got to work hard.
- 15:00Speaker 6: Like his motto is, we got to be the hardest
- 15:01Speaker 6: working team in the country, but we gotta have fun,
- 15:03Speaker 6: like we're gonna have fun doing it.
- 15:04Speaker 3: So I think we take that motto and we just
- 15:06Speaker 3: run with it.
- 15:07Speaker 6: You know, if you've seen our practices and everything, you
- 15:09Speaker 6: know it's it's super fun, but it's super high paced,
- 15:11Speaker 6: it's super physical. So you know, if we got told
- 15:14Speaker 6: you know, the team down south isn't working as hard
- 15:16Speaker 6: as we are, and you know isn't physical as us.
- 15:18Speaker 3: So we're gonna keep that mantra going. So love that.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Boys.
- 15:21Speaker 1: We I think we're right on in fifteen minutes right now,
- 15:23Speaker 1: Do you have any more questions before we want to
- 15:24Speaker 1: hang this thing up? Hey, I appreciate it, and y hey, Dylla,
- 15:27Speaker 1: you're doing a great job. Out here, buddy, Like, this
- 15:31Speaker 1: is different is that guy?
- 15:32Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 15:33Speaker 2: He really is that guy down he'd just be saying
- 15:35Speaker 2: that because we're in his office.
- 15:37Speaker 3: Yeah you know what I mean.
- 15:38Speaker 6: Yeah, No, he just walked in, so you know, or
- 15:41Speaker 6: he's he's a genuine college seriously, there you go.
- 15:44Speaker 3: It's just really his dream job.
- 15:45Speaker 6: Like I remember the first time we talked to him,
- 15:46Speaker 6: like he literally came in there, kicked the shoes off
- 15:48Speaker 6: and yelling, screaming, crying, like telling us like, this is
- 15:51Speaker 6: my dream job. I want to get done here. He
- 15:53Speaker 6: told us yesterday like he doesn't want to go. He
- 15:54Speaker 6: doesn't want to win here and then go somewhere else.
- 15:56Speaker 6: He wants to build something here. So yeah, we believe
- 15:59Speaker 6: in that.
- 15:59Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 16:00Speaker 3: That is ours.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Has always subscribed rate five stars, Big hugs, Pinny kisses,
- 16:09Speaker 1: h m hm
