- 1:34Speaker 1: do it. You got to teach one teas a week. Yeah,
- 1:37Speaker 1: I've been locking them in. Okay, Oh yeah, I forgot
- 1:40Speaker 1: to send you the graphic I made. I'm sure it'll
- 1:43Speaker 1: change my life. As Games of the year baby, Oh, okay,
- 1:46Speaker 1: Games of the year lines were finally released all the
- 1:48Speaker 1: way through. Okay, like the actual South Bend ones, which
- 1:52Speaker 1: are good. That's a uh, it's a good thing for us.
- 1:54Speaker 1: So we get to uh speculate all right, football seasons here.
- 1:59Speaker 1: The ReBs are excited. I guess Mississippi State fans are
- 2:06Speaker 1: cautiously optimistic. Ole misbelieves they're going to repeat what they
- 2:10Speaker 1: did last year. I don't think eleven and one is
- 2:14Speaker 1: not happening. But I don't know if anybody's going eleven
- 2:19Speaker 1: and one Georgia, Ole, miss LSU or Texas Orbama bad
- 2:24Speaker 1: to beat. I'd say no. Now, we could have some
- 2:26Speaker 1: ten and two teams. I think we'll have a big
- 2:31Speaker 1: cluster seven and five, eight and fours, so and then
- 2:35Speaker 1: you'll have the bottom. Can Mississippi State fight their way
- 2:38Speaker 1: out of the bottom of the league. You know, we
- 2:43Speaker 1: talked about it during the offseason. Last year. You're up
- 2:46Speaker 1: seventeen on Texas in the fourth quarter, nine on Tennessee,
- 2:50Speaker 1: and yeah, you kick a field goal and you beat Florida.
- 2:54Speaker 1: But you know, you got to run the numbers on.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Arizona State was lucky. So if you take that away,
- 3:03Speaker 1: but add those three you're still happy because you can't
- 3:08Speaker 1: have all four. We can't do it that way. But
- 3:11Speaker 1: can they fight their way out of the bottom where Arkansas,
- 3:15Speaker 1: Mississippi State, Kentucky, and I guess South Carolina last year
- 3:20Speaker 1: the year before they had a good year. But you
- 3:24Speaker 1: know the disaster teams were Arkansas, Mississippi State, Kentucky, and
- 3:29Speaker 1: South Carolina.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Last year? Isn't it crazy? Vanderbilt went ten and two.
- 3:35Speaker 2: They got stopped. I mean, Vandy went ten and two.
- 3:45Speaker 1: I mean they didn't even come close to jumping off
- 3:47Speaker 1: the page at you. And if the league's so the
- 3:51Speaker 1: league was super watered down the last two years, if
- 3:54Speaker 1: it's even more bar two things he did, I don't
- 3:57Speaker 1: know what we're gonna you know, we'll see. I kind
- 3:59Speaker 1: of leaned that way, but I hope he's wrong. But
- 4:03Speaker 1: could I love it when he's wrong. But if the
- 4:06Speaker 1: league is even more watered down this year again, bandy
- 4:11Speaker 1: with Diego Pavia and what else did you see on
- 4:14Speaker 1: the field?
- 4:14Speaker 2: Did anything jump out at you? No? And yet that
- 4:18Speaker 2: was a ten win team. What what does that tell us?
- 4:25Speaker 1: Anybody can go ten and two in the new in
- 4:28Speaker 1: the new era, fractured and splinter talent. If the Vanderbilt
- 4:33Speaker 1: Commodore's I mean, Diego's good, but he right, I mean
- 4:37Speaker 1: he's good, he's a playmaker, he's dangerous at the college level.
- 4:40Speaker 2: I don't care what the NFL you know. I know
- 4:42Speaker 2: he got cut I'm not.
- 4:43Speaker 1: We're talking Vanderbilt Commodore's best player ever, even more so
- 4:47Speaker 1: than Jay Cutler, who no doubt is a better pro.
- 4:51Speaker 1: But a lot of people won't be able to follow
- 4:53Speaker 1: that because they'll say, well, but Jay Cutler played in
- 4:56Speaker 1: the NFL. Diego at Vanderbilt, best player ever, had playmaker,
- 5:02Speaker 1: all kinds of stuff, but.
- 5:05Speaker 2: That team went.
- 5:06Speaker 1: I mean, I remember watching them last year thinking, I mean,
- 5:09Speaker 1: they look solid. You know, they're solid on both sides
- 5:13Speaker 1: of the ball, and they have kind of a magician
- 5:16Speaker 1: at quarterback. That's where we are in a pretty good schedule.
- 5:22Speaker 1: They were one of the ones that drew ole Miss
- 5:27Speaker 1: Bandy and a couple others drew an amazing schedule. Remember
- 5:32Speaker 1: when Kirby Smart threw Greg Sankie under the bus on
- 5:36Speaker 1: the stage at the SEC Championship game about how Georgia
- 5:41Speaker 1: had to play. They did, but I don't even they
- 5:45Speaker 1: played at Texas and at Bama. Maybe they had some
- 5:48Speaker 1: other games that were that were super tough. But Sankey
- 5:54Speaker 1: is up on stage in Atlanta, and did you see
- 5:59Speaker 1: it was like a skunk was in between his legs.
- 6:03Speaker 2: When when Kirby just was like and they sent us
- 6:06Speaker 2: on the road all year.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Or something, I was like, Okay, you know if we
- 6:14Speaker 1: thought that that was one of the most beaten and
- 6:17Speaker 1: battered SEC Championship games where Debor and Smart were talking
- 6:22Speaker 1: about all the players that they had out for that game,
- 6:27Speaker 1: especially Bama, but Georgia was beat up. Can you imagine
- 6:31Speaker 1: what the SEC Championship game is gonna look like on
- 6:35Speaker 1: a none game conference schedule, which we're gonna have this year,
- 6:39Speaker 1: plus a Power Ford non conference game. I mean, when
- 6:43Speaker 1: Mississippi State gets to Atlanta, how beat up and battered
- 6:47Speaker 1: are they going to be when they play Lane Kiffin
- 6:50Speaker 1: and LSU or Kirby and Georgia.
- 6:52Speaker 2: I mean, it'd be twos. Be twos.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I mean, it's got to be either Jeff Levy and
- 6:57Speaker 1: Mississippi State or will Stein in Kentucky. Now, I asked
- 7:01Speaker 1: some people up there if will Stein was a I
- 7:04Speaker 1: just got back for our listeners. I said Thursday through Sunday,
- 7:07Speaker 1: I was in Kentucky. I flew into the wrong airport.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Nice.
- 7:11Speaker 1: I didn't even realize it until I got to the gate.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I'll tell I'll tell you that story. I had a
- 7:16Speaker 1: great time with our friends from here. Taste Italian Kitchen
- 7:20Speaker 1: represented so well. They're going to have three Elijah Craig
- 7:23Speaker 1: barrel picks and a heaven Hill bottled in bond. Plus
- 7:27Speaker 1: they picked out another I don't know how many others
- 7:29Speaker 1: from other distilleries. But we had an amazing time and
- 7:33Speaker 1: an amazing experience in Kentucky. I asked people if will
- 7:39Speaker 1: Stein was a real person. Who is we think the
- 7:43Speaker 1: head coach at Kentucky and we think that was him
- 7:45Speaker 1: at SEC media days last week or the week before.
- 7:49Speaker 1: It was week four with bar two because we went
- 7:50Speaker 1: to Pearl River Resort. It was kind of fifty to fifty. Yeah,
- 7:56Speaker 1: that's fair, it is. You know, they're not happy with
- 7:58Speaker 1: Mark Pope right now. So just to get to just
- 8:02Speaker 1: for you to understand kind of the mentality, which I
- 8:04Speaker 1: know you do, but having just spent almost four days there,
- 8:08Speaker 1: just to get an idea of where Kentucky and Louisville
- 8:11Speaker 1: are right now as far as there's uh sports state
- 8:16Speaker 1: of mind, because y'all are y'all are all of y'all
- 8:19Speaker 1: listening are focused on old Misssissippi State, Bama, LSU, whoever
- 8:23Speaker 1: your team is. And I mean you're just you're locked in.
- 8:26Speaker 1: You you want to win so bad you can't stand it.
- 8:29Speaker 1: It's all you're thinking about now. And we're marching to
- 8:32Speaker 1: Labor Day weekend to break bread and do this thing
- 8:36Speaker 1: which is football, which is so fun. And then a
- 8:38Speaker 1: week later the NFL kicks in, which is even better.
- 8:44Speaker 1: But I kind of got a fifty to fifty on
- 8:46Speaker 1: whether Will Stein's a real person.
- 8:50Speaker 2: When you even asked that question.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Did you have to walk through wait, Kentucky basketball to
- 8:54Speaker 1: get to Kentucky football? Well?
- 8:55Speaker 2: I would, I would.
- 8:57Speaker 1: So we were in a bunch of restaurants and bars
- 8:59Speaker 1: and speak keasies and the stillery bars or you know
- 9:02Speaker 1: the way they set up their little man caves and
- 9:04Speaker 1: all that stuff. So I mean there's a lot of
- 9:05Speaker 1: moving around. We're talking to different people, conversation, people are
- 9:09Speaker 1: having fun. I mean, you've got a little Glenn Carring
- 9:11Speaker 1: glass with a little bit of bourbon, and you know,
- 9:14Speaker 1: the spirits are flow as Churchill said, I think a
- 9:16Speaker 1: little bit better with just a little bit of a
- 9:19Speaker 1: of a beverage. So having said that's a good question, Jackson,
- 9:25Speaker 1: the what drove the conversation, if if I didn't drive
- 9:29Speaker 1: it with SEC football, was whether or not Mark Pope's
- 9:32Speaker 1: gonna make it in Kentucky basketball.
- 9:35Speaker 2: That's it. That's what they had checked out on stoops.
- 9:42Speaker 1: A while back. Yeah, they don't know who will some
- 9:45Speaker 1: of them. I don't think even know when I would
- 9:47Speaker 1: say will Stein. It's kind of like when you're talking
- 9:50Speaker 1: to Alabama fans about their basketball or baseball coach that
- 9:54Speaker 1: you'll get that blank like like like they're supposed to know,
- 9:57Speaker 1: but I don't, Like I don't I'm supposed to know
- 9:59Speaker 1: who that is, but I don't know who that is.
- 10:02Speaker 1: I got some of that. Yeah that's fair, Yeah, that's expected, right. Yeah,
- 10:08Speaker 1: I definitely did figure. I mean, if you ask someone
- 10:10Speaker 1: about football, you know, especially there, they're going to have
- 10:15Speaker 1: to walk you through that. And then I figured they
- 10:16Speaker 1: even walked the cow to get there. I figured they
- 10:18Speaker 1: walked to Martin Pope Well. So Cala Perry was brought
- 10:21Speaker 1: up a lot just like Lane Kiffen and Dan Well.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Dan Mullen since since twenty eighteen, and Lane Kiffen. Well,
- 10:28Speaker 1: Dan will be brought up forever because he'll always be
- 10:30Speaker 1: a part of the fabric of football, both high school,
- 10:34Speaker 1: junior college in college because he had an impact on
- 10:36Speaker 1: all three, right, and Lane Kiffin will too.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, as it should. Absolutely.
- 10:45Speaker 1: I mean we'll be talking about Bobby Collins and Jim
- 10:48Speaker 1: Carmody and and Billy Brewer and Jackie Sheryl for years
- 10:53Speaker 1: and years and years.
- 10:54Speaker 2: What kind of economic impact do you think col had
- 10:57Speaker 2: on there?
- 10:58Speaker 1: That's that he he helped the bourbon game. Yeah, surely
- 11:07Speaker 1: he helped the bourbon game. Yeah, yeah, yeah, definitely would
- 11:12Speaker 1: have overlapped. Yeah, I mean he's a bourbon guy. I
- 11:16Speaker 1: don't know about that, but he's a you know, he
- 11:19Speaker 1: got into horses. Patino was the first to really get
- 11:22Speaker 1: into horses and still is and he's still tied in
- 11:26Speaker 1: to the state of Kentucky through the the horse business.
- 11:31Speaker 1: But yes, cal you know, it was kind of that
- 11:37Speaker 1: perfect storm. We've got that here with Mullen and Freeze,
- 11:41Speaker 1: but then with kith and Leech and Dion. When you
- 11:46Speaker 1: get a perfect storm, you you know, it's a big deal.
- 11:50Speaker 1: We've caught that in college baseball at times the last
- 11:53Speaker 1: twenty years with Bianco and whoever was at Mississippi State.
- 11:59Speaker 1: That the perfect storm was Cal as the ultimate promoter
- 12:04Speaker 1: and salesman, comes in at the same time of the
- 12:09Speaker 1: bourbon boom. You just couldn't have timed it, which then
- 12:13Speaker 1: made horse horse racing was already big, but it made
- 12:16Speaker 1: it even bigger. Okay, And so yes, believe it or not,
- 12:21Speaker 1: Cal did drive more tourism and help the bourbon industry
- 12:25Speaker 1: and the horse industry in the state of Kentucky like
- 12:28Speaker 1: no one else other than Rick Petia. Now don't don't
- 12:30Speaker 1: don't forget there was some overlap from from Rick being
- 12:34Speaker 1: at Louisville Patino and Cal at Kentucky.
- 12:38Speaker 2: You're talking about star power, all within an hour and
- 12:41Speaker 2: a half.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, So you asked me about my uber ride.
- 12:47Speaker 2: I was not paying attention.
- 12:49Speaker 1: We had to move the trip because it was supposed
- 12:51Speaker 1: to be the week before, and so when I was booking,
- 12:58Speaker 1: because I've flown into Lexington two lunch, I guess I
- 13:02Speaker 1: just wasn't thinking.
- 13:03Speaker 2: I don't know what I was doing.
- 13:05Speaker 1: So I booked from Jackson to Atlanta to Lexington. Well,
- 13:10Speaker 1: on Thursday morning. No, yeah, Thursday. I walk to my
- 13:16Speaker 1: gate in Atlanta and I go that says Lexington. They
- 13:20Speaker 1: must be wrong, right, That's what I'm talking. So I'm
- 13:24Speaker 1: looking at my Delta Airlines app and I'm like, hold on,
- 13:29Speaker 1: oh wow, I.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Booked to Lexington, Kentucky.
- 13:33Speaker 1: So then I text Wendy, of course, and I'm like, hey,
- 13:39Speaker 1: what do you think I should do here? This plane
- 13:43Speaker 1: is about to take off in ten minutes and I
- 13:46Speaker 1: just or maybe fifteen, and I just figured out that
- 13:50Speaker 1: I was supposed to fly into Louisville, not his that
- 13:53Speaker 1: big a deal, not Lexington.
- 13:55Speaker 2: But should I wait?
- 13:56Speaker 1: There was another flight later, but you don't ever want
- 13:58Speaker 1: to answer, especially with thunderstorms, and and I kept thinking,
- 14:05Speaker 1: I just need to get there. Yeah, so and then
- 14:08Speaker 1: so I'm then I get on my American Express app
- 14:11Speaker 1: and into the concierge part of that nice and I'm talking.
- 14:14Speaker 1: I don't know if it's about or a real person,
- 14:16Speaker 1: don't care, but I'm trying to rent a car. So
- 14:20Speaker 1: I'm on the tarmac, We're about to take off to Lexington,
- 14:23Speaker 1: and I'm going back and forth here and Wendy's like,
- 14:26Speaker 1: just uber, you don't want to mess with picking up
- 14:30Speaker 1: a car, dropping a car off, And I'm like, you're right.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Your thought process behind this was as long as I
- 14:36Speaker 1: have this in my hands, I can get there though,
- 14:39Speaker 1: no question. Okay, yeah, if I get a vehicle, I
- 14:41Speaker 1: can get there. I can get there. And so I
- 14:45Speaker 1: get to Lexington, which is I've said this before, it
- 14:49Speaker 1: is my favorite airport in the country. It's small but beautiful,
- 14:57Speaker 1: and it's right downtown somehow, and it's right across the
- 15:01Speaker 1: street from Keenland, which is the prettiest horse race track
- 15:04Speaker 1: in the country, which we did. Drive by my Uber
- 15:07Speaker 1: driver and I what was her name, Angie? She was
- 15:09Speaker 1: very nice. She's from San Antonio. She went to Texas
- 15:13Speaker 1: a and m nice and her daughter goes to Belmont Nice. Well,
- 15:19Speaker 1: we had an hour and fifteen minutes in the car,
- 15:21Speaker 1: so when I went on the phone, I was talking
- 15:22Speaker 1: to her and she was a sport. She mentioned Jackie
- 15:24Speaker 1: Cheryl right out of the gate. Really She's like, you're
- 15:28Speaker 1: She's like, where are you from?
- 15:29Speaker 2: Oh?
- 15:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I said, Jackson, Mississippi. She went, do you know
- 15:32Speaker 1: who Jackie Cheryl is? I went, yes, we do. Jackie
- 15:35Speaker 1: and Peggy gave Wendy and I a beautiful wedding gift.
- 15:39Speaker 1: And I've told the story about staying up till one
- 15:41Speaker 1: or two am and Acapulco overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean
- 15:46Speaker 1: and listening to Cheryl in nineteen ninety seven or whatever
- 15:49Speaker 1: it was. Tell me Bear Bryant stories. Back to my
- 15:54Speaker 1: uber drive. So I extended my uber drive a little
- 15:58Speaker 1: bit by about thirty minutes. So it went from maybe
- 16:02Speaker 1: forty five or so had I flown into Louisville to
- 16:05Speaker 1: about an hour and ten hour and fifteen. Honestly, though,
- 16:08Speaker 1: Lexington's a beautiful state, and driving in the back of
- 16:13Speaker 1: an suv and just hanging out on a beautiful Thursday
- 16:17Speaker 1: was all good.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Yeah, that's not too bad.
- 16:19Speaker 1: No, I mean, that's not one of the deals where
- 16:21Speaker 1: you get out and you're like, oh man, I never
- 16:23Speaker 1: thought I was gonna get here. You had a good
- 16:25Speaker 1: you had a good plan, right, that's not bad. Yeah,
- 16:28Speaker 1: that doesn't derail you from your trip.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Not at all.
- 16:31Speaker 1: I wasn't gonna let it not. I've traveled too much
- 16:35Speaker 1: and so I don't. It wasn't a oh blank panic.
- 16:40Speaker 1: It was I was just trying to figure out.
- 16:41Speaker 2: What I wanted to do. Yeah, what's my best plan
- 16:43Speaker 2: of it.
- 16:43Speaker 1: But then I thought, let's just get in the state.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Let's not wait for another flight. Then you can get
- 16:51Speaker 1: delayed and then you're really in a in a jam
- 16:54Speaker 1: or a bond. Right, Let's just get there. I've already
- 16:58Speaker 1: flown in the Lecxington, a bunch in Louisville Lexington. It
- 17:01Speaker 1: was maybe I just needed to be in both towns.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Yeah, taste.
- 17:04Speaker 1: I mean I went to Lexington and Louisville and Elizabethtown
- 17:09Speaker 1: and Bardstown and drove through my buddy Travis's hometown of
- 17:14Speaker 1: Bowling Green.
- 17:15Speaker 2: I mean I hit, I hit it. That's that's you
- 17:18Speaker 2: don't tour or right.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Maybe I didn't try through Bowling Green, but right by anyway,
- 17:25Speaker 1: So it was funny. You asked me my longest UBER drive,
- 17:29Speaker 1: and I think that's it. An hour and fifteen minutes.
- 17:31Speaker 2: That's gay.
- 17:32Speaker 1: I mean that's a that's a trick. Yeah, that's a track. Yeah,
- 17:36Speaker 1: because that's a good that's a good ride, right, yeah,
- 17:40Speaker 1: I mean Fort Walton to the back porch is not
- 17:42Speaker 1: that far, and then all the other places that we've
- 17:45Speaker 1: all flown into, and even if it's a thirty forty
- 17:47Speaker 1: five minute uber, you know, my hour fifteen trumps it.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Yeah, but it was all good. I got to the hotel. Well,
- 17:56Speaker 2: you had a good driver. Oh she was super sweet.
- 18:00Speaker 1: She you know, Clutch has traveled a ton and uh,
- 18:05Speaker 1: like I said, she went to Texas, A and M
- 18:08Speaker 1: and that was that was a cool tie.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Talking about Cheryl, she couldn't believe.
- 18:13Speaker 1: That I hung out Well, I mean I hung out
- 18:17Speaker 1: with him when he was in Starble two, but in
- 18:19Speaker 1: Acapulco for a weekend anyway, in that random, that's random.
- 18:28Speaker 1: But that's what happens in life now when you get
- 18:30Speaker 1: into ubers. Yeah, yeah, as long as you attracted. Yeah,
- 18:36Speaker 1: all right, what do we have this week? Biggest story
- 18:39Speaker 1: of the week Drew Brees Pro Football Hall of Fame.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Biggest game as far as anticipation, the Betrayal Bowl l
- 18:49Speaker 1: su at Ole miss Another big story and topic is
- 18:53Speaker 1: can Levy went enough to extend his career in starbul Mississippi?
- 19:00Speaker 1: So those are the bit you know. Drew Brees number nine,
- 19:03Speaker 1: Pro Football Hall of Fame. This Saturday, you're gonna see Sean.
- 19:06Speaker 1: You're gonna watch Sean Peyton as the presenter for Drew Brees. Yes,
- 19:14Speaker 1: and he'll be emotional as he should. Be they both
- 19:18Speaker 1: changed each other's lives. How many other they changed a
- 19:22Speaker 1: bunch of people New Orleans Saints fans, people who live
- 19:26Speaker 1: in New Orleans, who live in the outskirts of New Orleans, Jackson, Mississippi,
- 19:31Speaker 1: Gulf Coast. We've talked about it. Breeze and Peyton changed everything.
- 19:36Speaker 1: And so Sean Peyton will be the presenter for your
- 19:43Speaker 1: Hall of Famer number nine.
- 19:45Speaker 2: The Goat.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Drew Brees first ballot Hall of Famer, and there wasn't
- 19:50Speaker 1: any doubt with he and Larry Fitzgerald wide receiver out
- 19:54Speaker 1: of Arizona Cardinals out of that all right. But so
- 19:58Speaker 1: that I think that's going to be a cool vibe
- 20:01Speaker 1: and a fun topic of discussion all week because you'll
- 20:04Speaker 1: reminisce and get nostalgic about the games that were your favorite,
- 20:10Speaker 1: right While I mean, I know the Super Bowl, right
- 20:14Speaker 1: is your favorite, but there were so many big regular
- 20:17Speaker 1: season games that Sean and Drew put you in because
- 20:21Speaker 1: they won so much, and then there were some epic
- 20:23Speaker 1: playoff games, and I know there were some tough losses.
- 20:26Speaker 1: At least you're that you would rather be in the
- 20:28Speaker 1: arena than outside, and Saints fans were outside from nineteen
- 20:33Speaker 1: sixty seven to two thousand and five, and then Sewn
- 20:36Speaker 1: and Drew did their deal and the rest is history,
- 20:41Speaker 1: and it's proven. Just like in NIL today, anybody can win,
- 20:47Speaker 1: but you got to have some high level coaching and leadership.
- 20:51Speaker 1: And that's what the Saints finally got. And they lived
- 20:55Speaker 1: on Monday night football and Sunday Sunday three o'clock Sunday night,
- 21:01Speaker 1: and then of course they lived in the playoffs. So
- 21:03Speaker 1: Drew goes in into Kanton, Ohio, into the Pro Football
- 21:06Speaker 1: Hall of Fame this weekend, number nine the Goat, And
- 21:14Speaker 1: there'll be some people with a lot of water in
- 21:16Speaker 1: their eyes on Saturday as you'll be doing yard work
- 21:20Speaker 1: and cooking and smoking some ribs or whatever you're doing
- 21:25Speaker 1: in and out of the outside the pool the water,
- 21:28Speaker 1: and you'll catch some of it and you'll be like,
- 21:31Speaker 1: you'll stop, and you'll go I remember in two thousand whatever,
- 21:37Speaker 1: or for some of you who were going to three, four, five, six,
- 21:40Speaker 1: seven eight games a year, you live down there. Once
- 21:43Speaker 1: they started winning, and then that ticket got hard to get.
- 21:47Speaker 1: I can't believe what I paid at times. Now, we've
- 21:51Speaker 1: been fortunate that a lot of people have given us tickets.
- 21:56Speaker 1: But I can't believe what I paid at times for Wilkes.
- 21:59Speaker 1: And I was little during that the beginning of that
- 22:02Speaker 1: run to go down there. I never in a million
- 22:06Speaker 1: years thought that I would pay that price to go
- 22:09Speaker 1: see a Saints game, considering when I was a kid
- 22:12Speaker 1: in eighty two and eighty four. Free stacks of tickets
- 22:16Speaker 1: in restaurants between the thirties, unbelievable. Do you have a
- 22:23Speaker 1: favorite Drew Brees moment or game moment or game?
- 22:27Speaker 2: Really?
- 22:29Speaker 1: I mean that obviously the Monday night right aftercure, you know,
- 22:32Speaker 1: first went back from Yeah, that's gonna be big, very emotional.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Steve Gleason, Yeah, yeah, who Drew and Jeff Duncan and all.
- 22:42Speaker 1: I mean they're all tight. Yeah, a lot of.
- 22:46Speaker 2: The Steve Gleason game.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Yeah, Oh, a lot of Drew Brees, a lot of
- 22:51Speaker 1: good times because they got Reggie Bush. And then you
- 22:55Speaker 1: think about, man, some of those defensive players hung around
- 22:59Speaker 1: for a while, you know, I mean they really and
- 23:04Speaker 1: played at a.
- 23:05Speaker 2: At a really high level for years. Yeah. I'd love
- 23:10Speaker 2: your favorite Drew Brees story.
- 23:13Speaker 1: We'll put together a uh I'm not giving away this
- 23:16Speaker 1: Tito's golf bag today, but.
- 23:17Speaker 2: We'll put together some kind of swag bag.
