- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello everybody, welcome back, and in today's video we are
- 0:02Speaker 1: going to be taking a look at The Macabre Experiment.
- 0:06Speaker 1: The Macabre Experiment is a series that takes a twist
- 0:08Speaker 1: on infamous creepypasta stories and provides a new story behind
- 0:12Speaker 1: the already disturbing lore. This new series, The Macabre Experiment,
- 0:17Speaker 1: was created by the creator of Sneaky's Snack Bar, a
- 0:20Speaker 1: series that we have covered on this channel a little
- 0:22Speaker 1: bit ago, a series based on the animatronics of a
- 0:25Speaker 1: location called Sneaky's Snack Bar. However, since a lot of
- 0:29Speaker 1: people were saying that Sneaky Snack Bar was extremely similar
- 0:33Speaker 1: to FNAF, which I highly disagree because it gave an
- 0:36Speaker 1: entirely new story, but the creator decided to stop making
- 0:40Speaker 1: Sneaky Snack Bar and decided to instead create a new
- 0:43Speaker 1: series called The Macabre Experiment. And if you are interested
- 0:48Speaker 1: in a video covering Sneaky Snack Bar, we actually did
- 0:51Speaker 1: cover that a while back, so I'll have that linked
- 0:53Speaker 1: in the description if you are interested. Also, be sure
- 0:56Speaker 1: to check out all of Stuffy's videos as the creator
- 0:59Speaker 1: and the mastermind behind all of this. However, the Macabre
- 1:02Speaker 1: Experiment is Stuffy's most recent endeavor in the analog horror scene,
- 1:06Speaker 1: and it does not disappoint. With five installments released up
- 1:10Speaker 1: to date, the horrors within these tapes is truly a
- 1:13Speaker 1: gift to us analog horror enthusiasts. So, without further ado,
- 1:17Speaker 1: my name is WowMan. Do not forget to subscribe. It
- 1:20Speaker 1: would help a lot. And yeah, sit back, relax, and enjoy.
- 1:24Speaker 1: The Macabre Experiment. Also, I have a new microphone now,
- 1:28Speaker 1: so hopefully the audio is slightly better now. The first
- 1:31Speaker 1: episode in the series starts off with a silhouette of
- 1:33Speaker 1: a body stating, Failed Experiment Number 22. Smile.jpg. And what
- 1:40Speaker 1: proceeds is a conversation between two people, Wyatt Miller and
- 1:44Speaker 1: another unnamed person. The unknown person asks Wyatt for elaboration
- 1:49Speaker 1: on how this all began. Wyatt proceeds to tell the
- 1:52Speaker 1: person that they invited their friends to go camping because
- 1:55Speaker 1: they haven't been getting along recently and saw this camping
- 1:58Speaker 1: trip as an opportunity to revive the friendship. The whole
- 2:02Speaker 1: friend group had a falling out that Wyatt doesn't go
- 2:04Speaker 1: into detail about. One of the friends named Max couldn't
- 2:08Speaker 1: make it to the camping trip, although Wyatt suspects that
- 2:11Speaker 1: he just didn't want to go because of what happened.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Wyatt then goes on to say that when they were camping,
- 2:20Speaker 2: they saw a leash on the ground and dried up
- 2:23Speaker 2: blood in the dirt. But Wyatt decided not to tell.
- 2:27Speaker 3: The rest of the friend group.
- 2:45Speaker 1: To avoid a freakout.
- 2:46Speaker 2: So Wyatt sees a bloody leash dried up on the
- 2:51Speaker 2: ground and decides to tell no one, even though it's
- 2:57Speaker 2: like right next to their camping ground.
- 3:13Speaker 1: I would not go camping with Wyatt. Just a thought.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Later that night, Wyatt says that they heard barking in
- 3:21Speaker 1: the distance, but when they ask the rest of their friends,
- 3:25Speaker 1: they say that they don't hear a thing.
- 3:26Speaker 2: In the morning, they packed up and headed home.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Done with the camping trip, Wyatt sat in their room
- 3:44Speaker 1: and opened up their computer. Only to find a direct
- 3:47Speaker 1: message on their computer from an anonymous user. Within the
- 3:51Speaker 1: message was a link, and Wyatt's curiosity got the best
- 3:55Speaker 1: of them. They clicked the link. Also, quick PSA, you
- 4:00Speaker 1: guys definitely know this, but do not click any funky
- 4:03Speaker 1: links that strangers send you. The internet can be a
- 4:07Speaker 1: very dangerous place, so please do not click links. Strange
- 4:11Speaker 1: links from strangers. Unless I send you a link. If
- 4:14Speaker 1: I send you a link, you should click that link immediately.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Like the link in the description? Do not click that thing.
- 4:20Speaker 1: It says warning, do not click. So I'm warning you
- 4:23Speaker 1: right now. Please do not click that link. You probably
- 4:28Speaker 1: clicked it. Weirdo. Wyatt ends up clicking the link and
- 4:32Speaker 1: is directed to an image of a dog. A smiling
- 4:35Speaker 1: dog with human teeth.
- 4:39Speaker 2: A haunting, terrible image. It was a dog, but not
- 4:45Speaker 2: just any dog. He was smiling. The dog had human
- 4:50Speaker 2: teeth in its mouth. I immediately thought of the leash
- 4:54Speaker 2: and the blood.
- 4:57Speaker 1: And that's when Wyatt's mind begins to spiral, trying to
- 4:59Speaker 1: convince themselves that this is some sort of sick joke
- 5:03Speaker 1: and not a reference to the bloody collar that they
- 5:05Speaker 1: found in the woods. They begin saying that the image
- 5:08Speaker 1: started to make them hear voices in their head, making
- 5:11Speaker 1: them feel insane. Repeating the phrase, spread the image. And
- 5:17Speaker 1: after hearing the phrase over and over, Wyatt begins to
- 5:21Speaker 1: grow weak. They break down and send the link back.
- 5:25Speaker 1: their friends. They finally gave in. Something Wyatt blames themselves for.
- 5:31Speaker 2: It kept talking to me. I don't know why. I
- 5:35Speaker 2: just said to my friends, I shouldn't have done it.
- 5:40Speaker 3: I really shouldn't have. I'm responsible for them.
- 5:46Speaker 1: The person talking to Wyatt tells Wyatt that they can
- 5:49Speaker 1: continue tomorrow and to get some rest. And that's when
- 5:51Speaker 1: we discover that the person that Wyatt was talking to
- 5:54Speaker 1: is most likely Wyatt's psychiatrist. Trying to help them deal
- 5:58Speaker 1: with the trauma that they went through. Trauma that the
- 6:00Speaker 1: image inflicted upon them. And the overwhelming guilt of thinking
- 6:04Speaker 1: they are responsible for their friend's murder. Because when Wyatt's
- 6:08Speaker 1: friends were sent the link, as soon as they clicked it,
- 6:12Speaker 1: they were killed. We are then shown what happened when
- 6:15Speaker 1: Wyatt clicked the link to the image. Their computer glitches out,
- 6:20Speaker 1: and the image of the dog appearing right in front
- 6:22Speaker 1: of them. The voice, repeating the phrase, spread the image.
- 6:40Speaker 1: The tape cuts out and is stitched into an old cartoon.
- 6:44Speaker 1: And the cartoon in question is a cartoon called MGM Cartoon,
- 6:48Speaker 1: with an episode titled Dog Gone Tired, released back in 1949.
- 6:53Speaker 1: The cartoon proceeds as normal, with the dog trying to
- 6:56Speaker 1: get some rest, but there is constantly something new keeping
- 6:59Speaker 1: them up. Finally, the dog fixes all the issues and
- 7:02Speaker 1: goes to bed. But the silhouette of a blacked out
- 7:05Speaker 1: figure appears at the bed of the sleeping canine. an
- 7:10Speaker 1: allegory for the spirit of the dog that was murdered
- 7:12Speaker 1: in those woods, where Wyatt found the bloody collar. We're
- 7:22Speaker 1: then shown mountains in the distance overlooking a field of flowers,
- 7:27Speaker 1: an atmosphere of serenity directly contrasting the horrors of these tapes.
- 7:34Speaker 4: I was having the most wonderful dream. I finally felt free.
- 7:44Speaker 4: I got to be away from the people I hate.
- 7:49Speaker 4: In my dreams there is no day everything is peaceful.
- 7:54Speaker 4: Everything is warm. I can't help but smile.
- 8:14Speaker 1: The tape cuts out and we're shown a bloodied image
- 8:17Speaker 1: of a person named Sadie. Both arms violently ripped off
- 8:23Speaker 1: as they lie on the ground. Sweet dreams, Sadie. After
- 8:29Speaker 1: Wyatt's interview, the man was interested in seeing the image,
- 8:34Speaker 1: but previously told not to look at it or he
- 8:36Speaker 1: would be killed. The man thought this could not be true.
- 8:40Speaker 1: He believed there was another reason as to why Wyatt's
- 8:43Speaker 1: friends were murdered. He opened the image. He was found
- 8:49Speaker 1: dead two days later. And the person asking to see
- 8:53Speaker 1: the image was Wyatt's friend, the one who decided not
- 8:56Speaker 1: to go on the camping trip, Max. Now the only
- 9:00Speaker 1: remaining friend is Wyatt. Perhaps whatever took Wyatt's friends chose
- 9:05Speaker 1: to spare them, only for them to have to watch
- 9:08Speaker 1: as their friends are murdered while they are spared. A
- 9:13Speaker 1: punishment unbearable. Worse than death. The guilt of knowing that
- 9:17Speaker 1: this is their fault. As Wyatt spends their days slowly
- 9:21Speaker 1: growing more unstable, attempting to cure their incurable guilt through
- 9:26Speaker 1: psychiatry sessions. I'm responsible for their murder. The second installment
- 9:35Speaker 1: in the Macabre Experiment is an episode called Not Alive, Mouse.
- 9:40Speaker 1: In the same fashion as the previous episode, we are
- 9:43Speaker 1: shown a silhouette. However, this time, rather than being shown
- 9:46Speaker 1: a body, we are shown the bloodied logo of a
- 9:49Speaker 1: famous mouse. I'm not even entirely sure if I can
- 9:52Speaker 1: say what the mouse's name is. Failed experiment number 16.
- 9:57Speaker 1: The mouse. And then we are shown text. of somebody
- 10:00Speaker 1: speaking to the audience. This case includes the mention of
- 10:03Speaker 1: death and not alive. It's not for the faint of heart.
- 10:08Speaker 1: If you happen to stumble across this private file, delete
- 10:11Speaker 1: it immediately. Otherwise, let's get to the investigation. Our first
- 10:17Speaker 1: person of interest is Diane. The installment begins and we
- 10:21Speaker 1: get a phone call from a person named Diana Cooper,
- 10:25Speaker 1: making a phone call to their significant other. Diana complains
- 10:29Speaker 1: to their significant other about some guy that she works with,
- 10:33Speaker 1: saying that all he wants to do is sit around
- 10:35Speaker 1: and smoke cigars all day instead of actually doing his work.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Diana continues to rant about this man and it becomes
- 10:54Speaker 1: very evident that Diana truly despises this person. Diana finishes
- 10:59Speaker 1: the call by saying once this is over, they'll head
- 11:02Speaker 1: home to their significant other. And what plays before us
- 11:05Speaker 1: is an old Mickey Mouse animation. This animation is extremely
- 11:09Speaker 1: distorted and it seems like an unfinished project that needs
- 11:13Speaker 1: further development. Mickey stands in a pitch black room and
- 11:17Speaker 1: that's when we see it. The smiling spirit from the
- 11:20Speaker 1: last installment grinning from within the darkness, staring at the viewer.
- 11:27Speaker 1: The animation progresses and a figure comes out of the
- 11:30Speaker 1: closet and walks toward Mickey's cowering person. And the spirit
- 11:37Speaker 1: reveals itself. The tape cuts out and we are shown
- 11:45Speaker 1: an interchange between Diana and her despised co-worker, Curtis. Curtis
- 12:02Speaker 1: tells Diana that he has everything under control. However, in reality,
- 12:06Speaker 1: does not. He's not even close to finishing. A note
- 12:17Speaker 1: from Diana's significant other then appears before us, stating the following.
- 12:22Speaker 1: I know that you're excited for the show to premiere, sweetie.
- 12:25Speaker 1: I'll be home right after, and you can tell me
- 12:27Speaker 1: how it was. It then becomes clear to us that
- 12:31Speaker 1: Curtis is one of the animators of the Mickey Mouse show,
- 12:34Speaker 1: and Diana is one of the people in charge of
- 12:36Speaker 1: airing the actual show, which is why she is so
- 12:39Speaker 1: concerned with Curtis not meeting the deadline. Because if Curtis
- 12:43Speaker 1: doesn't finish animating the show, there is no show to air.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Which makes so much sense as to why she is
- 12:49Speaker 1: so frustrated, because if he doesn't finish, they can't air
- 12:52Speaker 1: the show, and the blame will most likely come onto her.
- 12:56Speaker 1: The tape cuts out, and we're shown a disfigured Mickey...
- 12:59Speaker 1: repeating the phrase, your child is dead. Similar to what
- 13:38Speaker 1: the spirit did in the last installment, repeating the phrase,
- 13:42Speaker 1: spread the image, however this time saying, your child is dead.
- 13:46Speaker 1: And as to whose child is dead, it is unclear.
- 13:50Speaker 1: We switch back to the Mickey Mouse animation and are
- 13:52Speaker 1: shown Mickey Mouse wandering in darkness, stuck in a repeating loop.
- 13:59Speaker 1: That is, until he stops and stares at the viewer
- 14:03Speaker 1: with a grim look. expression. Seconds later, taken into darkness.
- 14:09Speaker 1: We are then shown the following text. The following is
- 14:12Speaker 1: a call from Rowan Withers that was recorded for investigation.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Rowan Withers, the son of Curtis Withers, the animator from earlier.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Now as for what Rowan says on the phone, it's
- 14:24Speaker 1: pretty hard to make out, but essentially what Rowan is
- 14:26Speaker 1: saying is that he found his father's body in Rowan
- 14:52Speaker 1: is in complete anguish, having to stare at the body
- 14:55Speaker 1: of his own father, lying lifeless on the ground. Mickey's
- 14:59Speaker 1: eyes stare at the screen, and it's revealed once again
- 15:03Speaker 1: who is inside the mouse. We are shown another photograph
- 15:10Speaker 1: of someone else who was murdered. Diana. It seems that
- 15:14Speaker 1: the spirit from the previous video has a knack for
- 15:17Speaker 1: making its way into pieces of media. It's made its
- 15:20Speaker 1: way into the animation created by Curtis, making its way
- 15:24Speaker 1: inside of his head, just like it did to Wyatt.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Only Curtis couldn't take this constant voice in his head
- 15:32Speaker 1: any longer, and decided to put a permanent end to
- 15:35Speaker 1: the voice inside his head. Diana, upon watching the animation,
- 15:42Speaker 1: suffered the same fate. One final note is shown to
- 15:47Speaker 1: us from one of Diana's co-workers. Episode 3 Episode 3 microbes.
- 16:22Speaker 1: This time around, the installment begins in a different manner
- 16:25Speaker 1: than the previous ones we've already looked at, starting off
- 16:28Speaker 1: by showing the F.E. Protective Agency. But as for what
- 16:32Speaker 1: we do know about them, the F.E. Agency is an
- 16:34Speaker 1: agency that is investigating the phenomenon of these paranormal appearances
- 16:39Speaker 1: that are taking lives. The tape cuts out and states
- 16:42Speaker 1: that the following is footage of a person that was
- 16:44Speaker 1: deployed for our organization. Following, it states that who later
- 16:49Speaker 1: attempt to escape the facility. And what follows is a
- 16:52Speaker 1: message that is playing off of an old TV. Don't
- 16:56Speaker 1: worry about where you are. Just pay attention to the screen.
- 17:00Speaker 1: This is a vital process for your survival. Thank you
- 17:05Speaker 1: for cooperating. Within the message, it does tell us that
- 17:08Speaker 1: there was a man that worked in an old organization
- 17:11Speaker 1: known as Macabre Labs. Named after a person called Ethan Macabre.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Ethan McCabber, the person in question, during their time at
- 17:20Speaker 1: the organization had attempted human experiments for their own benefit.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Pretty much every experiment done by Ethan McCabber resulted in
- 17:29Speaker 1: them going horribly wrong and causing most people that they
- 17:33Speaker 1: were experimenting on to either die or suffer worse consequences.
- 17:38Speaker 1: And as for the ones that were experimented on and
- 17:41Speaker 1: managed to escape death, those people were horribly disfigured and deformed.
- 17:47Speaker 1: And on top of that, they would also lose all
- 17:49Speaker 1: of their memories, essentially becoming a disfigured shell of the
- 17:53Speaker 1: person that they used to be, a direct result of
- 17:56Speaker 1: the experiments that Ethan was performing on them. And on
- 17:59Speaker 1: top of all of this, the experiments that Ethan was
- 18:01Speaker 1: conducting caused microbes to release in the air, which spread
- 18:05Speaker 1: more and more over time. Microbes being extremely tiny organisms
- 18:09Speaker 1: that are too small to be seen with the naked eye.
- 18:12Speaker 1: The microbes in question were able to travel not only
- 18:14Speaker 1: through living beings, but able to travel through inanimate objects,
- 18:19Speaker 1: and could even travel through forms of technology like what
- 18:22Speaker 1: we saw with the animation and the link sent in
- 18:25Speaker 1: the first episode. Making it so much as seeing a
- 18:29Speaker 1: screen could infect you with these microbes like what happened
- 18:32Speaker 1: with the friends in episode 1. All they did was
- 18:34Speaker 1: click a link and see an image and as a
- 18:38Speaker 1: result were infected with these microbes and were unfortunately killed. However,
- 18:43Speaker 1: as to why Wyatt didn't die because of these microbes,
- 18:46Speaker 1: it is still unknown. The tape goes on to say
- 18:48Speaker 1: that Ethan was never caught and had gone missing after
- 18:51Speaker 1: discovering the microbes that were coming out of his experiments.
- 19:03Speaker 1: And after all of this, after the failed experiments, the
- 19:06Speaker 1: microbes going loose, this caused Macabre Labs to shut down.
- 19:11Speaker 1: And thus a term was coined for those that were
- 19:13Speaker 1: infected with the microbes. Macabres. The final statement given is
- 19:20Speaker 1: that these failed experiments can be aggressive and manipulative. And
- 19:25Speaker 1: that's when the person watching the tape hears something over
- 19:28Speaker 1: their shoulder. A macabre. They try desperately to escape the
- 19:40Speaker 1: facility but are killed by the macabre. The person in
- 20:00Speaker 1: this tape was a person that was working for the
- 20:02Speaker 1: FE Protective Agency, the agency that is investigating this phenomenon
- 20:06Speaker 1: of macabres. So what happened is that the agency sent
- 20:09Speaker 1: a person to these old macabre facilities to gather further
- 20:13Speaker 1: research on the phenomenon of the macabres. And although the
- 20:17Speaker 1: person was able to successfully gather this information, they were, unfortunately,
- 20:22Speaker 1: killed in the process. And the person that killed this
- 20:25Speaker 1: researcher was a boy that used to be called Jeffrey Woods.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Jeff the Killer. And so it becomes clear that through
- 20:34Speaker 1: these experiments, microbes were released into the air and infected
- 20:38Speaker 1: people through media and other sorts of ways that have
- 20:41Speaker 1: led to the transpired events. Events that end in tragedy
- 20:46Speaker 1: every time. Events caused by Ethan McCabber. Episode number four.
- 20:53Speaker 1: The Macabre Experiment Number 3. Ben Drowned. In this installment,
- 20:58Speaker 1: it's labeled as Failed Experiment Number 8. Hey everybody, quick cut,
- 21:02Speaker 1: this is not a sponsored segment, so please do not
- 21:04Speaker 1: skip it. But yeah, this is just a little message
- 21:07Speaker 1: from me to you. So I did recently graduate from university,
- 21:10Speaker 1: so that is very cool, very awesome, right? Like, I
- 21:13Speaker 1: should be super pumped. Since I did graduate university, pretty awesome.
- 21:23Speaker 1: I'm going to be taking the next three months off
- 21:25Speaker 1: to work on YouTube. So awesome for you guys too, right?
- 21:29Speaker 1: So yeah, at the same time, I'm going to be
- 21:30Speaker 1: applying to jobs just in case during this three month
- 21:33Speaker 1: period off from nothing, from doing nothing but YouTube. So yeah,
- 21:37Speaker 1: I am going to be applying to jobs, you know,
- 21:39Speaker 1: just in case, just for like a, just as like
- 21:41Speaker 1: a backup, you know, I don't want to like fully
- 21:43Speaker 1: put my I don't want to fully put all my
- 21:45Speaker 1: eggs in one basket, you know, just in case. But yeah,
- 21:47Speaker 1: I did create a Patreon so you guys can directly
- 21:50Speaker 1: support me and directly support the channel so I can
- 21:52Speaker 1: keep making these videos. And at the moment, there are
- 21:55Speaker 1: two tiers. There is the flower tier and there is
- 21:58Speaker 1: the king slash queen sleigh tier, which is, you know,
- 22:02Speaker 1: like the higher tier. So both tiers have the same
- 22:04Speaker 1: amount of features. There's Patreon only updates, chat community, and
- 22:08Speaker 1: live streams. But yeah, if you decide to go for
- 22:10Speaker 1: the higher tier, it would mean so much to me.
- 22:13Speaker 1: You would be directly going that extra mile to, you know,
- 22:17Speaker 1: support the channel, which means so much. But either tier
- 22:20Speaker 1: that you choose, if you do decide to choose, I'm
- 22:22Speaker 1: not forcing you. If you do decide to choose a
- 22:24Speaker 1: tier to join, you know, that's already so much. It
- 22:28Speaker 1: means so much to me. But yeah, I did want
- 22:30Speaker 1: to let you guys know just so I can, you know,
- 22:32Speaker 1: try to do this full time, which is the dream, obviously.
- 22:34Speaker 1: But if you guys support me on Patreon, you would
- 22:37Speaker 1: be helping me reach that goal and you know, we'd
- 22:39Speaker 1: reach it together. And also, I'm doing this very special
- 22:42Speaker 1: thing that if you do join the king slash queen tier,
- 22:45Speaker 1: in the next three weeks, I will personally deliver you
- 22:49Speaker 1: a postcard with my own handwriting on it. I know
- 22:52Speaker 1: it's not great. Maybe I'll do a little drawing on it.
- 22:54Speaker 1: I might get a little crazy with it. I sketched
- 22:58Speaker 1: up a little drawing that, you know, might My art
- 23:03Speaker 1: is very bad compared to the channels that I've looked
- 23:06Speaker 1: at on this channel. But this is just kind of
- 23:08Speaker 1: like an example of what I can draw. Yeah, this
- 23:13Speaker 1: is what I can draw. I know, it's ugly. Consider
- 23:18Speaker 1: joining the King slash Queen Slay tier if you want
- 23:22Speaker 1: a postcard with some writing of mine on there and
- 23:25Speaker 1: a weird drawing. But yeah, be sure to check out
- 23:27Speaker 1: my Patreon. It means so much to me. Alright, I'll
- 23:29Speaker 1: let you guys back to the video. See ya. Link
- 23:32Speaker 1: in the description. The link is in the description. I
- 23:35Speaker 1: forgot to say. Ben Drowned. This installment is based around
- 23:39Speaker 1: the creepypasta legend, Ben Drowned. Probably shouldn't be that hyped
- 23:44Speaker 1: about it. I'm sure most of you are familiar with
- 23:46Speaker 1: this creepypasta as it's one of the most infamous creepypastas ever.
- 23:51Speaker 1: And it's one that I was really excited to watch.
- 23:53Speaker 1: I remember being like 11 years old, watching Ben Drowned
- 23:56Speaker 1: creepypasta videos and being oddly intrigued by the horrors of it.
- 24:00Speaker 1: But yeah, definitely one of the moments that branched my
- 24:03Speaker 1: timeline into this one. I wonder what I would have
- 24:07Speaker 1: became if I never watched Ben Drowned. Maybe I would
- 24:10Speaker 1: be an accountant. Definitely, that's definitely the darker timeline. Being
- 24:17Speaker 1: an accountant. Sorry for everybody that has... accountant friends or
- 24:21Speaker 1: parents or is an accountant. I just don't see that
- 24:25Speaker 1: as something I would like to do. So for those
- 24:28Speaker 1: of you unfamiliar with Ben Drowned, it's about a cartridge
- 24:31Speaker 1: that this person buys at a garage sale from an
- 24:34Speaker 1: old man, only to discover an old save file on
- 24:37Speaker 1: the said cartridge. The cartridge is full of glitches, and
- 24:40Speaker 1: eventually the person discovers that Ben was the name of
- 24:43Speaker 1: a 12-year-old boy who had drowned 8 years prior, and
- 24:47Speaker 1: now haunts the game. Check out my ring. There's a
- 24:50Speaker 1: lot more lore to it than that, but that is
- 24:52Speaker 1: kind of the gist of the creepypasta. The tape begins
- 24:55Speaker 1: and we're introduced to somebody named Oliver. Oliver talks about
- 24:59Speaker 1: how he's been wanting to get a copy of Majora's Mask,
- 25:01Speaker 1: but the prices for the game were way out of
- 25:03Speaker 1: their budget.
- 25:04Speaker 3: I don't know, I just felt like buying it. I
- 25:08Speaker 3: was familiar with the game and remembered playing it at
- 25:11Speaker 3: my friend's house. I thought I could try and beat
- 25:14Speaker 3: it on my own. Sure, it was a used copy, but.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Also, if you try to get a copy of Majora's
- 25:21Speaker 1: Mask now, it's almost impossible. Those things are super expensive
- 25:24Speaker 1: for no reason. Also, yeah, I want one. So like
- 25:29Speaker 1: the curry pasta, Oliver decides to buy a used version
- 25:32Speaker 1: of the game from a garage sale. Then saying that
- 25:41Speaker 1: the game began to creep Oliver out even more the
- 25:44Speaker 1: longer that Oliver played. Oliver goes on to say that
- 25:47Speaker 1: there was a character in the game that looked like Link.
- 25:50Speaker 1: but the face was different, and that the character followed
- 25:54Speaker 1: Oliver everywhere. Oliver says that they tried to beat one
- 25:58Speaker 1: of the in-game bosses, but he would just repeat the
- 26:01Speaker 1: same phrase, just like a macabre. Link's entire body burned
- 26:24Speaker 1: to a crisp. The boss fight resets, but Link's death
- 26:27Speaker 1: is repeated once again, and again, and again. We're then
- 26:33Speaker 1: met with the face of a child named Ben, with
- 26:35Speaker 1: a text that reads, Please help me. Link's body lie
- 26:41Speaker 1: lifeless on the ground, and in the distance we can
- 26:43Speaker 1: see the macabre, grinning, getting closer and closer, laughing maniacally.
- 27:00Speaker 1: The game boots up once again, and Link's character sprite
- 27:03Speaker 1: is bent, as if Link's back was snapped in half.
- 27:06Speaker 1: The game is then suddenly interrupted by Ben. I've been
- 27:10Speaker 1: stuck in a shell. I just want to be freed.
- 27:14Speaker 1: I want to rest peacefully without him. And then it
- 27:18Speaker 1: becomes clear that the microbes have taken over and are
- 27:21Speaker 1: living inside of Ben's spirit, turning him into a macabre.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Episode number five, Jeff the Killer. In this installment, it
- 27:43Speaker 1: takes inspiration from the infamous Jeff the Killer creepypasta. So
- 27:48Speaker 1: real quick, a quick spark note, a refresher for everybody
- 27:51Speaker 1: unfamiliar with the Jeff the Killer creepypasta. Jeff the Killer
- 27:54Speaker 1: was given the name of a 13-year-old boy who, after
- 27:57Speaker 1: surviving a brutally disfiguring attack from bullies, had a mental
- 28:01Speaker 1: break and slaughtered them in retribution. The bully attack had
- 28:05Speaker 1: left Jeff badly burned, and in order to keep his
- 28:08Speaker 1: spirits up he carved a garish smile into his face.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Within the tape, it starts in traditional fashion. This time,
- 28:15Speaker 1: we are being shown failed experiment number five. So we
- 28:19Speaker 1: started with 22, then 16, then eight, and now we
- 28:23Speaker 1: are on to experiment number five. A message from the
- 28:26Speaker 1: FE Protective Agency plays on screen. Welcome back. It's been
- 28:31Speaker 1: a while. Please note that whatever you see during the
- 28:35Speaker 1: investigation must remain private and cannot be shared to the public.
- 28:42Speaker 1: And the following is a phone call from Rowan Withers
- 28:44Speaker 1: that was recorded for the investigation. So quick reminder, Rowan
- 28:48Speaker 1: Withers was the son of Curtis Withers, the man who
- 28:52Speaker 1: offed themselves because they couldn't take the voices inside of
- 28:54Speaker 1: their head. The person that was animating the Mickey Mouse
- 28:58Speaker 1: cartoon that Diana had a true hate for. But yeah,
- 29:02Speaker 1: microbes were able to make their way inside of Curtis,
- 29:05Speaker 1: where there's his head, which caused him to go insane
- 29:08Speaker 1: and ended up offing himself. So then we are presented
- 29:12Speaker 1: with a phone call from his son, Rowan. Rowan is
- 29:16Speaker 1: having a conversation with his friend, or at least he
- 29:19Speaker 1: thinks it's his friend. You are out. A macabre comes
- 29:52Speaker 1: into Rowan's room and the screen goes black. Only for
- 30:03Speaker 1: us to see Rowan pointing a gun at his friend
- 30:07Speaker 1: and then shoots. A message appears on screen. You lost
- 30:13Speaker 1: your only friend, and your father. Now, your own will
- 30:19Speaker 1: to live. You have nothing, Rowan. You're alone. And with that,
- 30:25Speaker 1: Rowan is responsible for murdering his only friend. It is
- 30:30Speaker 1: unclear whether his friend was being controlled by microbes, or
- 30:33Speaker 1: the Macabre had made Rowan hallucinate and make Rowan think
- 30:37Speaker 1: that their friend was a threat. However, both circumstances lead
- 30:41Speaker 1: to the same outcome. Rowan shot down his only friend
- 30:45Speaker 1: in cold blood, making him a murderer and truly alone.
- 30:51Speaker 1: His father, his friend, both gone and Rowan is alone.
- 30:56Speaker 1: The tape then cuts to a computer interface. McCabber, attendance, check. Melissa, Stockholm. Joyless.
- 31:05Speaker 1: Current state, in containment. Dakota, Norman. The Abomination, Current State, Incontainment.
- 31:15Speaker 1: Jack Nichols, Eyeless Jack, Current State, Incontainment. Hal Gordman, The Hallowed,
- 31:24Speaker 1: Current State, Incontainment. Macabre after macabre, all contained within this
- 31:29Speaker 1: facility that's holding them all hostage. Well, not hostage, but incontainment.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Preventing them from further killing any more innocent people. That
- 31:38Speaker 1: is until we get to Jeffrey Woods, Jeff the Killer.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Current state, escaped containment. The tape cuts out and we
- 31:49Speaker 1: are presented with a suit that is administered to those
- 31:51Speaker 1: who undergo experimentation. And then goes on the list of
- 31:55Speaker 1: things the suit protects the user from. Most importantly, this
- 31:58Speaker 1: suit makes it impossible for you to be infected by microbes.
- 32:02Speaker 1: The tape repeats the final message. never let them out
- 32:07Speaker 1: because as we learned before macabres are manipulative and can
- 32:10Speaker 1: manipulate people into doing things that they don't want to
- 32:14Speaker 1: do and so it becomes clear that jeff the killer
- 32:16Speaker 1: was able to manipulate one of the people at the
- 32:19Speaker 1: facility as there is a reminder in this tape saying
- 32:22Speaker 1: never let them out a clear message saying that you
- 32:26Speaker 1: have the possibility of being manipulated and freeing these macabres
- 32:30Speaker 1: so This is just a reminder that you should never
- 32:33Speaker 1: let them out, but obviously one person working at the
- 32:36Speaker 1: facility was, unfortunately, manipulated into letting Jeff the Killer free. However,
- 32:42Speaker 1: before the tape can conclude, we're given one final message
- 32:45Speaker 1: that is rushed through by the narrator. By entering our facility,
- 32:49Speaker 1: you are held responsible for any inconvenience caused by your
- 32:52Speaker 1: foolish or inability to handle our work environment. Please refer
- 32:57Speaker 1: to the instructional guide slash handbook for more information. We
- 33:01Speaker 1: thank you for taking part in this wonderful facility and
- 33:03Speaker 1: look forward to seeing how you positively impact our company.
- 33:08Speaker 1: Please note that any sign of disobedience may result in
- 33:11Speaker 1: immediate experimentation or punishment. We will not tolerate misbehavior during
- 33:17Speaker 1: work hours. And with that, the series concludes. Endless macabres,
- 33:23Speaker 1: roaming the world just waiting for their next victim. Microbes
- 33:26Speaker 1: floating within the air resulting from a failed experiment from
- 33:30Speaker 1: Ethan McCabber. A world truly lost. McCabbers taking lives and
- 33:36Speaker 1: an inability to keep them contained. And the horrors that
- 33:40Speaker 1: could follow the escaped McCabbers could truly be devastating. But yeah,
- 33:47Speaker 1: that was the Macabre Experiment. I hope you enjoyed. Also,
- 33:50Speaker 1: I'm not sure if I will continue saying explained because, again,
- 33:53Speaker 1: these are all my interpretations. So maybe I will lean
- 33:57Speaker 1: away from explained series and just cover these on my
- 34:01Speaker 1: own and explain my own thoughts on them. So yeah,
- 34:04Speaker 1: if you could subscribe to the channel so I can
- 34:06Speaker 1: keep making these videos, I would highly appreciate it. And
- 34:09Speaker 1: it would, you know, deter me from my adult life
- 34:13Speaker 1: a little bit longer. I'm only 20. I graduated really early.
- 34:18Speaker 1: It sucks. I mean, it's cool, but it sucks. Yeah, whatever.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Hey guys, Editor Wildman here again. Just be sure to
- 34:27Speaker 1: check out that Patreon. It would be so cool if
- 34:30Speaker 1: you did. But yeah, thank you for spending time with me.
- 34:32Speaker 1: I truly enjoy having you. It's great spending some time
- 34:35Speaker 1: with you. And I'll see you in the next one.
- 34:38Speaker 1: Please have a wonderful day. Stay safe. And yeah, that's everything.
- 34:41Speaker 4: Bye.
