- 0:07[SPEAKER_00]: Jacksonville Jaguar's fans, welcome into do wall daily, presented by jing Jack.com.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_00]: I'm Jordan Aluga, thanks so much for being here Friday, October 10th, did not expect to have a second installment of keep my name out your mouth within a week.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_00]: I did not.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_00]: Launched this a few days back.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_00]: Thought it was going to be a weekly segment, but I'm feeling the need to talk to some folks and tell them to keep
- 0:33[SPEAKER_00]: my name out your mouth, not my name personally, but talking about the jag wars, talking about some players on the jag wars roster, it's it's time to dive into this because there's just some stuff that's pissing me off and that's what this shows all about.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_00]: Some things around the web, around the football media landscape that I do not think are truly representative
- 1:01[SPEAKER_00]: So we're gonna dive into it, because I'm a little bit pissed off.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_00]: A little bit pissed off.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_00]: Really appreciate y'all being here.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_00]: If you enjoy the content, please like and subscribe.

- 1:12[SPEAKER_00]: We got these awesome new stickers.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_00]: They come with every single order.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_00]: Genjag.com.
- 1:19[UNKNOWN]: Whew.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_00]: Appreciate y'all getting us to 10,000 here.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_00]: So let's start with power rankings.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_00]: The NFL.com power rankings.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_00]: Have the Jacksonville Jack Wars at 11.
- 1:31[UNKNOWN]: 11.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_00]: This is Team 4 and 1.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_00]: Tie for the best record in football.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_00]: How many three and two teams?
- 1:41[SPEAKER_00]: Teams with less than four wins are ahead of the Jack Wars right now on the power rankings.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_00]: The C-Ox, who they play this weekend at five,
- 1:50[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not trying to make this show about the C-Hawks specifically, even though you look around the damn web and everyone is picking the C-Hawks to beat the Jaguars.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_00]: Whatever, you know, whatever.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_00]: That's not what this show is going to be about, although I do think that that is BS.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_00]: Packers are 21 and 1, at 6, Rams, 3 and 2 at 7, Commanders at 9, 3 and 2, Broncos at 10, 3 and 2, all ahead of the Jaguars.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_00]: All right, here's what I believe is Eric at home, right?
- 2:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Eric at home, he does like the, there's different power rankings on the NFL.com, but he does like the main one.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_00]: They'll be talking about Monday night for a while down in Duval, the Jaguar's roared back from a slow start and mounted one of the more important drives of Trevor Lawrence's career to win it.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_00]: We got the entire Lawrence experience on that drive alone.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_00]: The former number one overall pick was up and down on Monday with his legs bailing him out of some bad spots, but he also had two critical turnovers.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_00]: Even on the game winning drive, Lawrence took a bad sack and it'll have game penalty and things weren't looking pretty nor did his touchdown run, which started with Lawrence on his keyster, what an incredible and absurd play.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars are just a fun team right now with Devon Lloyd's 99 yard pick six, completely shifting the momentum their way.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_00]: Without it, I doubt Lawrence gets his glory drive to win it.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_00]: Without that pick six, the Jack Wars were still in that football game.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_00]: It was, I mean, at worst they were going down 21, 14.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_00]: Like, that game is far from over, okay?
- 3:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that was a game changing play.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_00]: Does that mean Lawrence doesn't have a chance to win that football game without it?
- 3:29[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely not, absolutely not, that's insane.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_00]: That is insane.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_00]: And having the Jack Wars at 11 behind one, two,
- 3:43[SPEAKER_00]: 3, 4, 5, 5 teams with 3 wins or less, our head of the Jaguars, ridiculous, ESPN.com where they have the Jaguars, 12, 12.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_00]: Probably behind the same teams, behind the seahawks, the chiefs, who they just beat, the Broncos, the Rams, the Packers, the 49ers, who they beat, are at six.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_00]: I really don't know what we're doing here.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_00]: These rankings are ridiculous, and I just want folks to keep it a buck.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_00]: The people who make these rankings, keep it a buck.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_00]: When the Jag Wars are one of the best teams in the AFC at the end of the season, because you're not giving them the respect they deserve right now.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_00]: And there was some game previews this week about Jag Wars C-Hawks that, again, didn't piss me off about what they're saying about the C-Hawks.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_00]: The C-Hawks deserve a lot of respect, they do.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_00]: But the fact that the C-Hawks are getting so much more respect than the Jag Wars isn't sane in my opinion.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_00]: There's kind of this flippant attitude about the Jaguars and the way they're winning football games.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_00]: The athletic football show today was talking about how the Jaguars, they just, they aren't quite as buttoned up as the Seahawks.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: They don't feel as real, they feel like a team that could fall off.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, how about this?
- 5:14[SPEAKER_00]: Head coach, offensive mastermind, runs one of the most difficult offenses in the NFL to prepare for on a week to week basis.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_00]: He is an exes and owes genius, right?
- 5:26[SPEAKER_00]: is offensive line, pass protection, run blocking, getting the job done at a high level and both of those regards.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_00]: Running game with the running backs, getting the job done at a very high level.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_00]: Quarterback, two top right wide receivers, just took a huge step forward on Monday night in a huge spot against the Kansas City Chiefs.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_00]: Defensive front, up at the top of the league in pressures, run game, not the best performance right against the chiefs who were run a lot of RPO, some read option, they were making it difficult, obviously in that game, they want to bounce back, certainly the run defense does, but that's a really good run defense.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_00]: And coverage, they just got better.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, Greg Newsom is a better cover corner than Tyson Campbell down the field.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: We'll talk about this a little bit.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_00]: Tizen Campbell versus Greg News and Tyson Campbell, a better run defender, Tyson Campbell, a better defender within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_00]: In terms of like if you're gonna target him in 0 to 10 yard range, yeah, Tyson Campbell, sure.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_00]: Greg News, some though, is no slouch in run defense.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_00]: He has no slouch 0 to 10 yards, but what he can do is stick with receivers down the field and that's something Tyson Campbell could not.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_00]: They're a better coverage team right now than they were.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_00]: And Anthony Camponele, the way he is utilizing his fronts, his second level, and his third level, running one of the most diverse coverage packages in the league.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_00]: Like, they run everything on the back end.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_00]: They change the picture post-snap, they disguise.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_00]: On the front end, they use games, twists, stunts.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_00]: You name it to free guys up.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_00]: They have talent across the board.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_00]: They have a well-coached, talented, special teams unit.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: What about the Jaguar's exactly is not buttoned up?
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: They're four and one.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_00]: Are there things that can improve?
- 7:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, are there things every single team in the NFL needs to improve right now?
- 7:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_00]: It's insane to me.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I love the athletic football show.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_00]: I think they do as good of job as anyone.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_00]: But I just want people to keep it a buck.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_00]: Keep it 100.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_00]: Like, when it, when it, I'm predicting the jaguars are going to be one of the very best teams in the FC.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_00]: And when that happens, when there's no denying it, because it's only been five weeks, whatever you want to say, just keep it a buck, keep it 100, all the people criticizing Trevor Lawrence, all the people saying the Jaguars are kind of fluky, all the people saying the Jaguars haven't beaten a good team, which by the way, Trevor's second wife, BFF does a great job covering the NFL, said the Jaguars need to prove that they can win against good teams two weeks in a row.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_00]: They beat the Texans, they beat the 49ers, and then they beat the chiefs.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_00]: What are we doing here?
- 8:33[SPEAKER_00]: What are we doing?
- 8:35[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, this kind of attitude about the jags, like, uh, they'll fall off.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_00]: The jags aren't very good.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_00]: Show me why.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_00]: That is the case.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_00]: Because I don't see it.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_00]: I do not see it.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that there is a better coach team in the F.C.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_00]: right now.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_00]: Exes in those confidence-building, teaching, all of it, and they're very talented in a lot of levels.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_00]: And they have not reached their ceiling.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I'm pretty bullish on the jacks right now.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_00]: And then we've got the Devon Lloyd Conversation, this just came up.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_00]: And Nate Tyson did a, you know, five weeks in, whatever it is, like awards, MVP, often's a player of the year, defense a player of the year, all that stuff.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_00]: And Nate Tyson is a great job covering the NFL.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_00]: The folks I'm talking about right now do a great job.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: But hey, if you say something that's silly, I'm going to talk about it here.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_00]: So this is all about Devon Lloyd, not being on the podium for defensive player, the year.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_00]: Much less not being at the top of the list is in Sanity.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's in Sanity.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not sitting here telling you that Devon Lloyd is the best defensive player in the NFL.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_00]: or that he will be the defensive player of the year by the end of the season.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_00]: What I'm telling you is that through five weeks of the NFL season, Devon Lloyd is without question the NFL defensive player of the year.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_00]: Without question, what he has done is historical through five weeks in the NFL.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_00]: He has four interceptions in five games.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_00]: Four interceptions in five games.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_00]: He has a 99 yard record setting pick six where he made Patrick Mahomes look silly with the interception and with the return.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_00]: He has been a menace, blitzing.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_00]: He's gotten a lot of pressure on the quarterback every single week, right?
- 11:02[SPEAKER_00]: Every single week so far.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_00]: Making a lot of tackles, he's making stops.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what you want to see from a guy to not to be defensive, defensive player of the year.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_00]: I always want to call it defensive and repeat.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: It's defensive player of the year, right?
- 11:19[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what you want to see.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_00]: No one is changing the game, changing wins and losses, more than Devon Lloyd is right now.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_00]: On the defensive side of the ball.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_00]: To me, that's Stephen's a player of the year.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_00]: That's everything you want, right?
- 11:39[SPEAKER_00]: He's had multiple stops, which is a tackle that constitutes a negative outcome for the offense in three of the five games so far.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_00]: He has interceptions, right?
- 11:54[SPEAKER_00]: In three of the five games so far, including, again, the 99 yard picks six last week and two interceptions against the San Francisco 49ers in week four.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_00]: The guy's playing out of his damn mind and I think Nate Tyson missed the mark with that.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_00]: So that's going to do it.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_00]: So I want to get on my soapbox, talk about some things that are pissing me off today.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_00]: I try to be fairly objective here.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_00]: Everything I have said today is not coming from a place of
- 12:25[SPEAKER_00]: Give my team respect, you know, give the Jack respect, that's the team I pull for.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_00]: It's literally analyzing the Jack Wars weekend and week out, analyzing what they're doing, and, you know, having some level of connection with this team, you know, covering the team and all that.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_00]: I just think they're not getting the respect they deserve.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_00]: Trevor Lawrence isn't.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_00]: We talked about that a lot.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_00]: The team as a whole isn't getting the respect they deserve.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_00]: Devon Lloyd is not getting the respect he deserves.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_00]: At least from Nate Tyson who is one of the bigger names and NFL media right now.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_00]: At least in my opinion, just based on the fact that I think he does a great job over at Yahoo.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_00]: The athletic football show is saying, oh, we don't know.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_00]: We don't know about the jags.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_00]: Keep it 100 y'all.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_00]: Really appreciate you tuning in.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_00]: If you enjoy the content, please like and subscribe.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_00]: Y'all have a good one.
