- 1:01headphones and you thinking down why headphones important for
- 1:03autism? Well, I will tell you, hey guys
- 1:06wanna say thanks to sound sorry headphones for sponsoring
- 1:08soundtrue headphones, which come in a snuggie case and these
- 1:11awesome things here. So sounds three programs help
- 1:15children and adults on the autism spectrum with ADHD
- 1:17sensory processing disorder and special educational needs
- 1:21company has recommended by therapists and professionals
- 1:24globally. Sound street is a multi-sensory
- 1:26music movement program. The sound through headphones are
- 1:30equipped with Dynamic filters and bone conduction technology.
- 1:33That helps improve motor skills and cognitive development in
- 1:36children and adults. So, can I like you put these on
- 1:38and then you, like, go through the list of programs and you
- 1:41take their like, actual like so many days or so many weeks
- 1:44program, which you do every day, and it tells you to do different
- 1:47stretches was listening to different music.
- 1:48I've tried this thing for like, you know, however, long I did,
- 1:52if I think I did it for, like a week and it was absolutely
- 1:54amazing. The thing actually really was
- 1:56fascinating, which is why I wanted to work with him again.
- 1:58The sensory works. On the fine gross and visual
- 2:02motor skills in children, leading to enhancement in hand
- 2:06writing and drawing balance and posture and eye hand
- 2:10coordination and Sport like skills.
- 2:12Now sound tree is designed to be safe and effective and is
- 2:15helping children on the autism spectrum with auditory sensory
- 2:17processing disorder and other developmental, delays.
- 2:20If you want to get your hands on one of these devices, you can go
- 2:23to sound sorry. R.
- 2:26EF r dot C C4 /. Daniel Jay.
- 2:30That's sound sorry, which is s o UND?
- 2:34Sor y dot. Refr CC for /d.
- 2:39Anie. L&j headphones for autistic.
- 2:43People are important because I have noise cancelling and
- 2:46noise-reducing headphones of different makes on varying
- 2:49degrees of type. I guess.
- 2:51Now, the reason these are interesting is because people on
- 2:53the autism spectrum suffer from a condition called SPD or
- 2:57sensory processing disorder. Now since you Processing
- 3:00disorder, impacts the way somebody on the autism spectrum.
- 3:03Communicates with the data input of auditory and sensory input
- 3:11from external stimuli like, smells sounds textures and all
- 3:14that jazz. Now, sounds of one of the most
- 3:16triggering because there's something about sounds that just
- 3:18kind of gets really deep rooted and could cause meltdowns
- 3:21triggers Bernard shit, those you name it.
- 3:23I've had it, it's happened because of many different sounds
- 3:26that I can hear. So, in terms of how do you Fix
- 3:30that. Well, there's no cure because
- 3:31autism is a Developmental and it neurological which means that
- 3:34there's no cure is not a disease.
- 3:35It's a condition that you just adds part of who you are part of
- 3:38who I am. And that's a cool thing.
- 3:40But we also could learn how to live a little bit like camera
- 3:43and more comfortable. So I have in front of me, three
- 3:45of the most amazing headphones that I use to have overcome
- 3:50those those things. So first, I'm going to show you
- 3:52guys is the Bose. These are the 35, which are
- 3:56noise. Canceling headphones are coming
- 3:57as awesome case. Now.
- 3:58I'm going to get my iPhone out. Sure.
- 4:00Get a close-up of what headphones look like.
- 4:01Okay. So as you can see they come in
- 4:02is awesome. Like foldy case like this is a
- 4:05this is just a typical case. Yes.
- 4:07I have my logo on my ones because I'm just that flashy,
- 4:10but they kind of fold up. Now, these ones come out of the
- 4:12box and then they unfold and there you have it.
- 4:16Now. These are very cushioned.
- 4:17There's a there's a bunch of like really, really soft cushion
- 4:20each side here, which is very, very comfortable.
- 4:22There's also a microphone on these so you can use them as
- 4:25like a headphone when you're on your phone and it connects via
- 4:28Bluetooth with this button here. Here.
- 4:30Now when you turn these on they actually have noise
- 4:33cancellation. So you put these on and
- 4:35basically, you know, you put these on and what when you're
- 4:37ready? You mean?
- 4:38Like, I don't want to hear anything anymore.
- 4:39You just flip the switch. They come on and everything is
- 4:43quiet. Now, I will say these are
- 4:45probably the most incredible headphones I've ever had.
- 4:49And these were a gift from my girlfriend.
- 4:50Bought me these because of my graduation.
- 4:52I graduated from University with a degree in chemistry and she
- 4:54bought me these as a gift. And I've used them in certain
- 4:56situations where I can't avoid noise like Christmas and social.
- 4:59Things, all that kind of jazz, and it really works to help me
- 5:03calm down and get less Century triggered.
- 5:05Now. The Bose headphones are very
- 5:06expensive. These are probably the Top Line
- 5:08there about 300 pounds and maybe looking at three to four hundred
- 5:11dollars for these, but they're the best ones.
- 5:14And actually, what's interesting is, I know a lot of autistic
- 5:17people who do actually use these exact ones and Sam from the TV
- 5:21show, than Netflix, a typical actually wears these in the
- 5:24show, and if you haven't seen that bit about an autistic guy,
- 5:26but yeah, these ones are amazing.
- 5:28Now, I highly Mend them. Like if I was to read these ones
- 5:31out of 10 for noise cancellation, these guys get a
- 5:3310 out of 10 and also the coming of snazzy, little hard case,
- 5:37which you can just Chuck them in your bag.
- 5:38And yes, might have case has a nasty World logo on there
- 5:40because I'm flashy like that. Now bows never disappoint.
- 5:44These are hard wearing. I've never had an issue with
- 5:46these. I've took this on a plane and
- 5:49it's like, as if I'm not even on a plane that could just cancels
- 5:52all the engine noise and the wind and stuff.
- 5:54Fantastic. I highly recommend checking
- 5:56these out and it has a lovely little Clips.
- 5:58You can hang onto your bag or whatever.
- 5:59Again, these ones are more luxury because they are the
- 6:02higher end. But I wanted to get over the
- 6:04high end ones first because I didn't want to want to have an
- 6:09issue with high-end Tech being, you know, sneakily brought in,
- 6:13and people think, oh, you know, it's so I can't afford it, blah
- 6:15blah blah, but look, that advertise noise-cancelling
- 6:18headphones are a bit cheaper than this, that aren't a proper
- 6:20Meek, you know, you can find on Amazon, the stuff like that.
- 6:23I know of a bunch, but I don't know if they're any good.
- 6:26So I'm not going to try and recommend things that I don't
- 6:28know work. Well, so these Ones are a little
- 6:30bit more expensive but they actually are recommended because
- 6:33I know that they work very well. Okay.
- 6:34So moving on to number two is the Apple, earpod Pros, right?
- 6:39I'm going to give you guys a close up again.
- 6:40So this is the Apple AirPort Pros to come in this lovely
- 6:43little case. It looks like a little pill box
- 6:45and there's a little button on the back.
- 6:46It tells you, if their chance and these ones are charged.
- 6:48So, you're flipping these guys open and then you are presented
- 6:50with these small earbuds that. I just absolutely fantastic.
- 6:54Now, the Apple AirPort have in noise, cancellation feature, on
- 6:58it because there's a little button.
- 6:59The inside of these, where you just like the hold it down, and
- 7:02it clicks in a little button. When it's plugged into ear.
- 7:06You can click down a button and that button activates the actual
- 7:11noise cancellation feature. And these are really, really
- 7:13good. I actually really enjoy these
- 7:15headphones because they are pretty much the most,
- 7:19interestingly, small piece of equipment.
- 7:22I own. And you think that like a
- 7:24equipment being this small would be easy to lose, and I haven't
- 7:27so far lost them yet and they fit right inside your Ears,
- 7:29which is different to the bows because the bull is actually
- 7:32have that, you know, the over-the-head headphones with
- 7:34these are in Tier 1. So I use these want to go
- 7:36running. I use it when I want meetings
- 7:38and phone calls. I'm going to I'm going to
- 7:39driving is like a hands-free kit.
- 7:40You can just take one of them and you've got a hands-free kit
- 7:42and they also have this snazzy charging it case.
- 7:45So yeah, these are really cool. Now, the earpod pros are about
- 7:50250 pounds, which is about I don't like the kind of $250 in
- 7:53the US. For these from apple.com.
- 7:55I highly recommend these as being very interesting, the
- 7:59noise. Feature is very, very similar to
- 8:01that of the bows one, but it's in ear, which has a different
- 8:04effect but it still sucks out all the noise.
- 8:06So you're not left there with like all this kind of back
- 8:08chatter and irritating noise. So these are fantastic and then
- 8:12more discreet. So these look like you're just
- 8:13wearing like Apple headphones. These ones are kind of more
- 8:15professional and I use these more for Studio stuff now, but
- 8:18this is more for leisure and just hanging out now.
- 8:21Yes, they're a bit pricey, but they do come with a snuggie
- 8:23charging case which gives you a bunch load of ours charging.
- 8:27I will also leave a link for everything I'm talking about in
- 8:29the Description below. But they're a little bit cheaper
- 8:31than the bows and the better smaller.
- 8:33I mean, look, if you want to put something in your bag, you know,
- 8:35look at this, that that wanting to fit in in typical, you know,
- 8:39typical man bags in Handbags and purses, that's not gonna fit in
- 8:41it. This thing you can feel that in
- 8:43your pocket. I think that my mouth.
- 8:44Oh no idea. Why I did that.
- 8:48This thing is so cool. I think it's really cool.
- 8:50I use these as like my daily headphones.
- 8:52And she's like, popping my bucket.
- 8:54It's all good. So that with the Apple iPod
- 8:57airport Pros. I did have the are pods.
- 8:59The like the second gen airports, but they weren't noise
- 9:01cancelling. So be no point in me covering
- 9:03them in this video. Okay, guys on to number three,
- 9:06which is this awesome piece of equipment called earpiece.
- 9:11No, this is from a company called earpiece UK and I will
- 9:14show you exactly what's in these.
- 9:15So, here we have the sort of cases like a hard case that that
- 9:19you can twist, and as you twist it, the inside, just pops up and
- 9:23inside is a bunch of insert, because I open this, you will
- 9:34see, here are the headphones. Now you get three headphones
- 9:38with. These are little at the not
- 9:39headphones and they don't play music.
- 9:40But what these are, these are high definition earplugs.
- 9:44Now, you can get these from earpiece UK.
- 9:45I will leave a link in the description below and you pop
- 9:48these into your ears and that there is a filter and you get a
- 9:51bunch lot of different filters. Now, these are very comfortable
- 9:54and very discreet because it like skin color, right?
- 9:58And then you get to, you know, The two main ones and you also
- 10:01get a third one in case you will lose one of them because let's
- 10:03just face it. There's a possibility.
- 10:05You could lose something. That's this small.
- 10:07Again. It's smaller than them.
- 10:09The case is a lot smaller than that one.
- 10:11I'm so we're going down in size and going down in price.
- 10:12So let's talk about the price. Okay.
- 10:14So earpiece UK, countenance, lovely, little kind of like
- 10:17keychain type of thing. You can just clip onto your bag
- 10:19or your purse, or your wallet, or your jeans or whatever, very
- 10:22cool, very discreet. I mean, this thing, this looks
- 10:24like lipstick. I mean, if you're a female or
- 10:25guy wears lipstick or whatever, if your lipstick where and you
- 10:28have this, you know, you put this in your Ivan.
- 10:30It's all good. Now, these cost about 25 pounds.
- 10:34You looking at me like 25 to 30 dollars for these which is
- 10:37considerably cheaper than the other ones.
- 10:38Okay? Yeah, they don't play music.
- 10:39But what's interesting about these interesting about the
- 10:41filters is that these reduce the noise, the volume without
- 10:46reducing the quality, so brings down the volume, but not the
- 10:50clarity of the conversation. So, rather than you sticking
- 10:52your fingers in the ears that would definitely bring down the
- 10:54volume, but it would actually muffle the clarity and you
- 10:56wouldn't really get much definition from the conversation
- 10:58you're having with somebody all the social.
- 10:59Duration, you're in. But these only bring down the
- 11:02noise, not the quality of the conversation or the quality of
- 11:05the noise, which I find it fascinating and these have been
- 11:08a lifesaver of all the way through my career, in trying to
- 11:12become a student in chemistry. When I was doing my access to
- 11:14science class. They helped me a ton.
- 11:17So definitely check them out. Link is in description below.
- 11:19Okay. So now I've got those all the
- 11:21way. I want to talk to you about
- 11:22number 4, which is the pro case ear Defenders.
- 11:25Now, I will put a picture of them on here and these are
- 11:27Defenders for children. And basically just Over the
- 11:30years and they completely instantly reduce noise.
- 11:32Like a lot of noise. I mean, you sound like so
- 11:34Jackhammer and really not feel like any discomfort from the
- 11:37nights coming out of these things.
- 11:38These are really cheap. I think you can get it for like
- 11:4110 to 15 pounds, which is about ten to Fifteen dollars.
- 11:43I will leave a link for that down below because they are
- 11:45super, super awesome. And I just feel like these would
- 11:49be perfect. If you're looking for something
- 11:50for kids and these out of its you like complex or expensive
- 11:52and a bit, you know, and anyway, you don't have to go for the
- 11:55contacts digital ones. I wanted to cover everything
- 11:56that I could. And that being said, guys,
- 11:59remember, Her to check out the sponsor for this video, which is
- 12:02sound. Sorry.
- 12:02That is an awesome piece of equipment.
- 12:04The link for that will be in the first one in the description
- 12:06below and they are awesome. Definitely check them out.
- 12:10If you are new around here, don't forget to subscribe and
- 12:12I'll see you next time guys.
