- 0:25Speaker 1: She did All right.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Good morning y'all.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Happy New Year.
- 1:55Speaker 1: I am so glad y'all we made it to 2024.
- 1:59Speaker 1: God is so good.
- 2:01Speaker 1: So what you're seeing is what we're going to work on the next four weeks.
- 2:05Speaker 1: This month of January, we're going to be studying Nehemiah Again.
- 2:10Speaker 1: The Lord has been having me in Nehemiah, but this is a special series that we're going to be studying Nehemiah in terms of vision and planning and strategy.
- 2:20Speaker 1: That's going to help us, whether you're trying to be elevated in your job, in your career or even in business, and just trying to come into alignment with what God has for you.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Before you do the vision boards, before you pull out the vision boards and you start cutting out all the aspirational words and pictures of places you want to visit and clothes you want to wear and food you want to eat and houses you want to buy, before you start doing that, a lot of believers go straight into Habakkuk and they start reciting it, but a lot of times we enter into these strategic planning or we visualize things that we want for ourselves.
- 3:03Speaker 1: That's totally out of alignment for what God has for us, and then we get mad at the end of the year.
- 3:08Speaker 1: So we're going to be spending the next four weeks talking about again.
- 3:13Speaker 1: This series is called Faith at Work.
- 3:15Speaker 1: I Got my Notes and we're going to punch through this All right, so let's start with a prayer first.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Lord, we just thank you that you've given us the opportunity and the platform and the insight and the wisdom.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Father, we thank you that you brought us to another Thursday.
- 3:28Speaker 1: We're so grateful for everything that you're doing for us and what you're teaching us in this season.
- 3:34Speaker 1: There's so many of us that are asking you to be elevated and to be blessed and to be the blessings in our families and have breakthrough.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Lord, we've got all of these things, all these desires in our hearts, but we thank you, lord, that you are showing us, that you are teaching us how to do this in accordance with your will, so that we can be successful in that.
- 3:53Speaker 1: So y'all yes, tracy, exactly Alignment with God's will and purpose is paramount, because if you're trying to do this on your own, it might work for a season, but not for an extended period of time.
- 4:07Speaker 1: It's just not going to work.
- 4:09Speaker 1: So the first thing we're going to do is we're going to be going into Nehemiah, chapter one.
- 4:14Speaker 1: I'm going to share my screen, but I have some notes.
- 4:16Speaker 1: I just wanted to talk about really why, and for those of y'all who are listening to the audio, I'm just going to be shifting to sharing my screen.
- 4:25Speaker 1: I'm going to present my screen and, for those of y'all who have your word, I'm just going to be in Nehemiah 1, and then I'm going to shift to Nehemiah 2.
- 4:32Speaker 1: So before I get here, I just want to call out why this first season series, first part, is really leaning into vision and planning.
- 4:43Speaker 1: And this is again because strategically, even in business, you have to be able to pull back.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Y'all go back and watch the post that I made around I think I call the eagle eyes that you have to have a different perspective before you go into something.
- 4:57Speaker 1: So before you start trying to define what 2024 is going to look like for you whether it's in as a wife, a doctor, a mom or whatever it is based on your profession, how you want your kids to be, what you're looking for in your business and your career and all of those things you have to step back and have a different perspective.
- 5:18Speaker 1: So, before going in, you have to have a vision and a plan.
- 5:23Speaker 1: You have to have a strategy right, even if you go to the supermarket, most of us are going in with a list.
- 5:28Speaker 1: We've got a strategy before we're going in.
- 5:30Speaker 1: We're not just going in and shopping.
- 5:31Speaker 1: If you just go in and shop, you're going to buy things you don't need.
- 5:34Speaker 1: So that's why we have a strategy right.
- 5:36Speaker 1: So vision and planning.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Nehemiah had a clear vision these are my notes to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem and he carefully planned the project.
- 5:45Speaker 1: But the first thing he did was assess the damage, because he needed to understand if you're a project manager, you get this.
- 5:51Speaker 1: You needed to understand the damage and the people that and the resources are going to be needed for the task.
- 5:57Speaker 1: So, before you jump into creating the vision for the year, you need to assess where you are so that you can understand what is it you're going to need.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Is it the training, is it the people, the resources, all of those things before you get into that.
- 6:10Speaker 1: So, starting in Nehemiah, chapter one, I'm just going to call out he's learning about the broken walls and this is how he's affected.
- 6:19Speaker 1: So Nehemiah one versus three and four.
- 6:22Speaker 1: And it says and this is the ESV version and they said to me, the remnant there in the province who had survived the exile is in great trouble and shame.
- 6:30Speaker 1: The wall of Jerusalem is broken down and its gates are destroyed by fire.
- 6:35Speaker 1: So the first thing again is getting yourself in the practice of understanding what is happening in your environment before you bounce into.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Oh, the Lord gave me a vision, okay.
- 6:47Speaker 1: The Lord told me to write a book.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Okay, but let's pull back and see what it is, assess what's around you.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Is it the circumstances that you're writing about?
- 6:55Speaker 1: Is your experience Like?
- 6:56Speaker 1: What are those things before you jump into that vision?
- 6:59Speaker 1: And verse four I says as soon as I heard these words, I sat down and wept and mourned for days and I continued fasting and praying before they got up heaven.
- 7:08Speaker 1: And so here is just reinforcing something I say to y'all all the time is, before you get involved, before you you know, roll out that vision.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Before you start planning anything, go before God and ask.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Ask him what does he want to see in this situation?
- 7:25Speaker 1: What does he want for you?
- 7:27Speaker 1: So if you are in a situation where maybe your career you feel like your career has stalled, where you thought you were going to get promoted but it didn't happen last year, where maybe you're still in the job marketing you didn't find that, you know, job you've been hoping for.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Maybe there's health issues.
- 7:41Speaker 1: You know, whatever it is that you're, you know you're trying to break through this year.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Before you start, you know, strategizing on how you're going to do it, you know, step back and assess your situation to see what exactly is that you need to make this happen and then go before God, take it to him, and then he will, he will, he will help you build out those strategies and help you get those resources.
- 8:05Speaker 1: So that's the first thing is learning about.
- 8:08Speaker 1: So Nehemiah one versus three and four is Nehemiah learning about the broken walls, and you can see that he's deeply affected.
- 8:14Speaker 1: In the same way, we've got to assess our situations and then take that to God, not just again, not just creating a vision, just, you know, based on our feelings.
- 8:22Speaker 1: All right, all right.
- 8:24Speaker 1: So then, nehemiah in versus in verse 11, so I just want to show you this verse.
- 8:30Speaker 1: This is Nehemiah one, verse 11.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Well, the next thing is he's praying for success.
- 8:36Speaker 1: So the word says oh Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of your servant and to the prayer of your servants who delight to fear your name, and give success to your servant today and grant him mercy.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I don't know how many of y'all are actually asking.
- 8:53Speaker 1: When you go before God, are you asking him to give you success today and asking him to grant you mercy in the sight of the people you're dealing with?
- 9:01Speaker 1: That is, that is a constant prayer.
- 9:05Speaker 1: I ask again what is the point if we are saying we're believers and we're worshiping God of all gods, right, you know what we call.
- 9:13Speaker 1: We call on God on every single name and we call out Jehovah, jireh, and we listen to all the songs, but yet we're afraid to ask God for big things.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Like you know, if you're still asking him just to pay for your, for a house note or a car bill or what, come up a little higher and ask him to grant.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Give you success, father.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Give me success in every area of my life, and then start listing out what those areas are.
- 9:38Speaker 1: And, lord, give me mercy in the sight of my manager.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Give me mercy in the sight of my husband.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Give me mercy in the sight of my community.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Give me mercy on the job.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Like you know, you've got to.
- 9:49Speaker 1: You've got to shift the way that you're approaching God.
- 9:52Speaker 1: But again, this would have started with you first understanding, your assessing, like Nehemiah did in verse three assessing.
- 9:59Speaker 1: You know what it is that you stand in need of, what.
- 10:01Speaker 1: What, what exactly are you know what?
- 10:03Speaker 1: What does the experience look like, what's happening around you?
- 10:07Speaker 1: Then you go in before God and then you ask him, ask him Lord, give me success.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Lord, let your ear be attentive and give me success in every area, list those areas out and asking to grant your mercy in the sight of man.
- 10:20Speaker 1: And I'm telling you things that work for me.
- 10:22Speaker 1: I am successful in business, thank you Jesus.
- 10:25Speaker 1: I'm successful in my career, thank you Lord.
- 10:27Speaker 1: I have been blessed in many, many ways.
- 10:30Speaker 1: The Lord has used me as a vessel to touch thousands of lives, y'all.
- 10:34Speaker 1: I've been on these streets praying and doing things for people for many years before I showed up.
- 10:39Speaker 1: You know in front, like you guys are seeing me now, whether it's Mrs Pye, or as an author, as a speaker, whatever you know, whatever, what you're seeing now is just the harvest of seeds that have been planted.
- 10:51Speaker 1: But I have always, I've always been asked in the Lord to grant me success and I'm very specific about what that is and he sends me the help and the resources to achieve it.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Why?
- 11:01Speaker 1: Because I'm in alignment with the will that he has to me, because I asked before I created my vision board Amen, so that's vision planning.
- 11:09Speaker 1: So now I want to show you in Nea my, I'm gonna come back to the room and make sure I don't lose nobody.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Y'all still here, Amen, yeah, facebook, and I can't see names.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Go jumping in before I see yeah, step back.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Y'all, step back.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Before you just dive in and start asking, asking, asking for you know what it is you need.
- 11:27Speaker 1: So now I'm gonna go to Nea my too.
- 11:28Speaker 1: This is so powerful and I really think it's gonna help us Again.
- 11:31Speaker 1: For those of us who are trying to continue elevation, whether it's at work, it's in with our family, whatever, it is right.
- 11:39Speaker 1: This year had 2024, before you start, we say soaring 2024.
- 11:44Speaker 1: By the way, don't forget to sign up.
- 11:45Speaker 1: That's a free event on January 6th.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Go to gracinggripmediacom and you can sign up there.
- 11:51Speaker 1: So in Nea my too, I wanna show you what he, the Lord, taught me about planning and preparation.
- 11:58Speaker 1: If you see me looking down, it's cause I'm looking at my notes.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Is that I wanna mess this up for y'all, okay?
- 12:02Speaker 1: So Nea my two and verse five, and it says and I said to the King.
- 12:07Speaker 1: If it pleases the King, and if your servant has found favor in your sight, then send me to Judah, to the city of my father's graves, that I may rebuild it.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Now let me just pause here, because this is a powerful prayer that I used, and I use this in situations where, before I'm going into even planning something out Again, I say I've received the vision, I have the strategy.
- 12:33Speaker 1: I've gone before the Lord, I've asked him for success.
- 12:36Speaker 1: But before I go in to start doing things right.
- 12:40Speaker 1: So, for example, if you're in a job search situation and you've gone to the Lord, look all around me.
- 12:46Speaker 1: I need a job that's gonna cover these things.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I need to be in this location.
- 12:50Speaker 1: You've kind of gone through that list.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Lord fills my needs about all those things right.
- 12:55Speaker 1: You've gone before.
- 12:56Speaker 1: God asked him for success.
- 12:58Speaker 1: The Father, grant me success in my job search.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Lord, have mercy, give me mercy for the new manager, show me your mercy.
- 13:06Speaker 1: I'm just giving you a real, practical example.
- 13:09Speaker 1: But before I even start applying for the jobs, I come in here and I go back.
- 13:14Speaker 1: I go back to the Lord and say, father, if it pleases you, if I found favor in your sight, then send me too, and so I'll list out send me to send me back.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Send me back into this career.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Send me, send me I'm very specific that I may rebuild my career, that I may rebuild my family, that I may rebuild my business, that I may rebuild my health.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Father, if I've found favor in your sight, then send me.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Send me back so that I can rebuild.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Send me so I can rebuild.
- 13:44Speaker 1: And so I'm very specific.
- 13:46Speaker 1: So this is a part of my planning scheme, if you will right, because I'm gonna ask Lord.
- 13:52Speaker 1: I want favor, I want high favor, supernatural favor.
- 13:55Speaker 1: I want the kind of favor that makes y'all sick.
- 13:58Speaker 1: I want y'all to be like, oh, she's living.
- 14:00Speaker 1: High favor, but I want the kind of favor that overflows into my family as well.
- 14:04Speaker 1: So it's not just about me.
- 14:06Speaker 1: So that's why I come in and I position this as a prayer point.
- 14:09Speaker 1: This is one that I use for my planning purposes, and then I'm gonna show you around preparation.
- 14:15Speaker 1: So this is Nehemiah, chapter two, and I'm gonna come down into verses 11 through 16.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Y'all I know I'm going fast.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Go back and watch the rest of this video, because y'all need to read the word for yourself.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal it because he's gonna show you specifically what you need to do in your life.
- 14:32Speaker 1: So Nehemiah two, verses 11 through 16, I'm gonna put this in a little bit of context.
- 14:38Speaker 1: So he's inspecting the walls.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Nehemiah is inspecting the walls and he says I went to Jerusalem.
- 14:44Speaker 1: He was there for three days and he's showing that he rose at night and had a few men with him and I told no one what God had put into my heart to do for Jerusalem.
- 14:54Speaker 1: I told no one what God had put into my heart to do for Jerusalem.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Some of y'all are talking too much.
- 15:03Speaker 1: You're telling too much.
- 15:05Speaker 1: You're telling too much and you're also telling the wrong people.
- 15:08Speaker 1: I love the fact that he rose at night.
- 15:13Speaker 1: So he went undercover, he did his research.
- 15:17Speaker 1: He wasn't.
- 15:17Speaker 1: He wasn't, you know, prostitizing to everybody.
- 15:21Speaker 1: The Lord is gonna give me a new house and I'm like no, no, no.
- 15:25Speaker 1: He told no one what God had put into his heart.
- 15:29Speaker 1: And then he went out by night and Word talks about him going to a different valley gate and the Dung gate.
- 15:35Speaker 1: He was expecting the surrounding.
- 15:37Speaker 1: He was expecting the situations.
- 15:39Speaker 1: The walls of Jerusalem were broken down.
- 15:41Speaker 1: In verse 14, it talks about how he went to the fountain gate.
- 15:44Speaker 1: There was no room.
- 15:46Speaker 1: And so he's assessing again his situation Verse 15, he went up in the night by the valley and again more inspection, and then after that he returned Verse 16, and the officials did not know where I had gone or what I was doing, and yet I had not told the Jews, the priests, the nobles, the officials and the rest who were to do the work.
- 16:05Speaker 1: So before he even engaged the resources that God had lined up to support him, he was undercover, doing the research right, and so what God had seated in his heart so remember he started out with the vision, with stepping back to assess all the things that he would need right, this is when he was looking at the broken walls and he was deeply affected.
- 16:30Speaker 1: And so then he went before the Lord, he fasted and prayed because he wanted God's input and insight, and then after that, he asked God to give him success in his mission.
- 16:40Speaker 1: And then, after that, he went into a planning and preparation which I showed you.
- 16:44Speaker 1: This is how you ask, lord give me favor in your sight, so when you send me there, I'm going to rebuild it.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Thank you, lord.
- 16:50Speaker 1: And then he inspects the walls of Jerusalem at night.
- 16:53Speaker 1: I'm going to stop Shannon and come back to the room Because this is so important.
- 16:57Speaker 1: The fact of the matter is, a lot of us, including myself which is why I had to be put on quiet when the Lord gave me this series, it was just last week and he's like going to this, including you is that we are telling people too much, especially when it's in the infancy.
- 17:14Speaker 1: There's a difference.
- 17:16Speaker 1: When the Lord, when you ask God to send you Father, send me divine helpers, your divine helpers aren't coming in as competition.
- 17:23Speaker 1: There is nothing that I have that you can take from me, because I didn't give the gift to myself.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Therefore, it is not mine, it is the Lord.
- 17:31Speaker 1: So there is nothing that you can't copy me.
- 17:35Speaker 1: It's not going to work.
- 17:36Speaker 1: So therefore, I can't copy you and we don't need to compete.
- 17:42Speaker 1: But you've got to understand that there are going to be times when the vision is so tenuous.
- 17:49Speaker 1: It's so important, it's so impactful.
- 17:51Speaker 1: But even when you get a vision, when God puts something on your heart, a vision, I think the Lord wants me to do X right.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Even in the infancy of that thing, there is work that you need to do so that you can stretch to meet that assignment, Amen.
- 18:07Speaker 1: And then, as you work with him, as you work with him through the planning and the preparation, you've got to be careful who you're metering out, what you're doing too.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Now I'm not saying please don't hear what I'm not saying.
- 18:20Speaker 1: I'm not saying like, do everything in secret, because there are things, for example, just using myself.
- 18:27Speaker 1: There are things that I have to do when it comes to my career that has to be done in silence.
- 18:32Speaker 1: There are things that I have to do with our Come Out of the Wilderness prayer group.
- 18:37Speaker 1: When strategic planning for 2024 that he's telling me nope, do not reveal, blah, blah, blah.
- 18:43Speaker 1: So I have to be in obedience with that.
- 18:46Speaker 1: I can't allow my ego or my excitement to cause me to utter things out in infancy.
- 18:54Speaker 1: A lot of us are going to learn that lesson this year.
- 18:56Speaker 1: So this is the first part.
- 18:58Speaker 1: This is the first part, y'all.
- 19:00Speaker 1: So we're going to go into Nehemiah 1 and Nehemiah 2.
- 19:04Speaker 1: We're going to pull back.
- 19:06Speaker 1: We're going to work on our vision and our planning before we start getting excited about all the things we're going to do and the Lord is going to show us over the next few weeks.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Y'all, go back, go back exactly, get excited and get to talking, and I'm telling you there are a lot of people in our lives who are very happy for us, but they can also pump you up a little bit farther than where you need to be.
- 19:33Speaker 1: I've met so many people over these past few years, since I've been quote unquote out front in ministry, who had these dreams and have been called to do so many things look great on paper, have done nothing, have been writing a book for 20 years and I'm telling you that if you operate under these principles and again, I don't know why, the Lord loves me and Nehemiah, but that is where I am, so I pray that this is going to bless you Go back in Nehemiah 1 and 2 and ask the Holy Spirit, lord, I'm going to ask you now to just overflow or fill them up, lord, god, and show them the areas of vision, planning and being strategic and in preparation, assessing.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Show them, lord, how to assess the environments that they're in on the job, in their, in their career, in their own desires, in their families, as parents, as co-workers, as colleagues, as community members like, reveal to them in their hearts, every single area that they'll need to to work on and come, come before you, lord, god, so that they can ask you then for success in these matters.
- 20:36Speaker 1: I thank you, lord, that you've given us another wonderful year.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Lord, I pray, blessings over every single person who's under the sound of my voice that they will be Seeing you today.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Father, thank you for glorifying yourself through me and demonstrating the power of the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Amen y'all.
- 20:53Speaker 1: 2024 is prophetically 24.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Is is considered to be the year of I think I told, told folks on Monday the year of judgment, but also a year of harvest for some is harvest for some if you've been vigilantly planting those seeds, watering them, so you're doing harvest this year, but judgment where this is a time where we're getting ourselves, we getting ourselves in order, so it's not going to be harvest where you just, like you know Again, for some people because you haven't been planting the seeds, if the Lord sent you to do a thing but you've stepped off that post, then don't expect to be blessed because you stepped off that post.
- 21:32Speaker 1: So we're going to spend the next four weeks talking about how we can really press into our job, our career elevation, with purpose and showing up a faith at work.
- 21:43Speaker 1: I am so Grateful, I am so great.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Thank you, tracy.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Yes, I thank you so much.
- 21:52Speaker 1: I needed that.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Y'all pray for me as I pray for you, please.
- 21:55Speaker 1: I really need that.
- 21:56Speaker 1: So I bless y'all.
- 21:58Speaker 1: I love y'all.
- 21:58Speaker 1: I will be back next there at the end.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Please don't forget to like the video.
- 22:02Speaker 1: If you're on the youtube streets Also, I try to share the video out.
- 22:06Speaker 1: We want to get as many people blessed for the cut out of the wilderness facebook group.
- 22:10Speaker 1: It is free.

- 22:11Speaker 1: Come on in.
- 22:12Speaker 1: You can find us on the facebook streets.

- 22:16Speaker 1: We're just worshiping together and we have a lot of incredible things coming this year because we are all going to be Elevated.
- 22:23Speaker 1: So y'all, come back, you know.
