- 1:05Speaker 1: on covering everything. I see you even covered laptops, so
- 1:09Speaker 1: that was an interesting one.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Our meme coin's dead.
- 1:11Speaker 1: A lot happening on that front, but we're going to
- 1:14Speaker 1: get into a few things before we get started. I
- 1:16Speaker 1: want to lead off with just a little bit of
- 1:20Speaker 1: a reminder because last night there were more promises, but
- 1:25Speaker 1: As everybody knows, we had the $ 5, 000 Doge dividend tied
- 1:28Speaker 1: and that never happened. The $ 2, 000 tariff dividend, the $ 1, 000
- 1:32Speaker 1: payments for ACA subsidies, the 5,000 Trump dividend now is
- 1:38Speaker 1: in play if Republicans win the midterms. So now they're
- 1:42Speaker 1: holding the midterms hostage on this. And I got to
- 1:45Speaker 1: play a clip for you before we get your comments
- 1:49Speaker 1: on this, but let's go to this clip.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Take a look.
- 1:52Speaker 3: And here is my promise.
- 1:54Speaker 4: If the Republicans win the House of Representatives and the
- 1:57Speaker 4: United States Senate, I will issue a dividend to every
- 2:02Speaker 4: adult citizen in the United States of.
- 2:04Speaker 3: America for $ 5, 000.
- 2:05Speaker 4: It will be called the Trump dividend.
- 2:11Speaker 5: Trump dividend to raise some eyebrows.
- 2:13Speaker 6: And it raised my eyebrows and both hands went up
- 2:16Speaker 6: at the same time.
- 2:16Speaker 3: But if I can hear the critics' heads exploding.
- 2:19Speaker 5: The president is bribing voters to vote for Republicans to
- 2:22Speaker 5: take over the House, and then he's bankrupting the country
- 2:26Speaker 5: because the deficit in debt is huge and inflation would
- 2:30Speaker 5: come back if this comes into play. So how do
- 2:32Speaker 5: you answer those criticisms?
- 2:34Speaker 2: We're taking in an extraordinary amount of revenue.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Those penalties have generated a lot of revenues.
- 2:39Speaker 2: They've helped us pay down debt. Clearly has no interest
- 2:41Speaker 2: in bringing debt under control. I think that's the message.
- 2:44Speaker 3: For the market.
- 2:44Speaker 7: Yeah, that's the important instinct.
- 2:46Speaker 8: He's trying to control yields and bring them down. Let's
- 2:49Speaker 8: take a close look here at Besson's reaction again. I
- 2:54Speaker 8: don't know if he was ready for that one.
- 2:56Speaker 3: If my Republican senator wins, I'm getting five grand. That's
- 3:00Speaker 3: pretty direct and simple and straightforward.
- 3:02Speaker 2: I think that's math that everybody understands, Martha.
- 3:05Speaker 9: Yeah, I think it is too.
- 3:06Speaker 6: We're all doing the math, so we'll get your calculator out.
- 3:08Speaker 6: I can do it for you. It's roughly $ 1.
- 3:10Speaker 8: 35 trillion.
- 3:15Speaker 6: Where's the money going to come from when you've got
- 3:18Speaker 6: a 6% deficit and debt to GDP over 120%? That's
- 3:23Speaker 6: about 5% of US GDP, one-fifth equivalent of all federal
- 3:28Speaker 6: spending annually.
- 3:30Speaker 7: More than defence. More than the interest payment at the moment.
- 3:33Speaker 7: How far is that $ 5, 000 going to go when diesel
- 3:35Speaker 7: is more than $ 2. 20 more expensive, gas is more than
- 3:38Speaker 7: $ 1 a gallon more expensive....
- 3:44Speaker 3: I'm working my ass off to get you oil and gas.
- 3:46Speaker 7: People who are taking out mortgages facing hundreds of dollars
- 3:49Speaker 7: more on their monthly payments because of that.
- 3:53Speaker 2: $ 5, 000.
- 3:53Speaker 7: In that context may not actually go very far.
- 3:57Speaker 6: Where's the extra money going to come from? I ask
- 4:01Speaker 6: all of you out there, whatever your political persuasion is.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Where is the money going to come from?
- 4:07Speaker 1: So is this just, you know, it's just more, you know,
- 4:10Speaker 1: I feel like it's more, you know, Fake promises coming
- 4:14Speaker 1: out of the White House right now.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Paul, I can make the sound of where the money's
- 4:18Speaker 3: coming from. Yeah, it goes.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Oh, well, yeah, you could do that. Yeah, you could
- 4:24Speaker 2: do that. Well, hey, you know, Trump's not done. OK,
- 4:27Speaker 2: it wasn't only the 5000. There's more. We got more
- 4:30Speaker 2: for you guys. So, yeah, we got we got more.
- 4:33Speaker 2: We got more. Take a look.
- 4:35Speaker 10: Today, I'm very thrilled to make an important announcement. Our
- 4:39Speaker 10: administration is doing the right thing and giving the money
- 4:42Speaker 10: back to the people who were.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Wrongly ripped off.
- 4:45Speaker 10: Nearly 1 million hardworking Americans in 30 states will soon
- 4:49Speaker 10: be getting refunds.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Of $ 500.
- 4:51Speaker 10: Each with a check sent to their home address. In
- 4:56Speaker 10: many cases, these refunds will cover the entire spike in
- 4:59Speaker 10: your insurance. The rebates are going out in just a
- 5:02Speaker 10: few weeks. Thank you very much.
- 5:06Speaker 1: All right, so we're going to get some cash back
- 5:07Speaker 1: supposedly for your insurance. Enormous increases that everybody's been paying.
- 5:13Speaker 1: So just nonsense because most of this is just not
- 5:18Speaker 1: going to happen, could not happen in any way. But
- 5:21Speaker 1: at the same time, it just makes the Republicans look bad.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Yeah, it does. It does make Republicans look bad. It
- 5:29Speaker 3: makes anyone who thinks about it rationally look bad. I
- 5:31Speaker 3: think what he's banking on, though, Paul, is that there
- 5:33Speaker 3: are idiots who don't know what they're looking at. And
- 5:36Speaker 3: they're going to think, oh, if I vote for this,
- 5:38Speaker 3: if this side wins, because again, I asked the question,
- 5:41Speaker 3: is this even legal? Can you even do this? You
- 5:43Speaker 3: can't pay people to vote a certain way. But technically,
- 5:45Speaker 3: the way he worded it is as long as Republicans win,
- 5:48Speaker 3: it doesn't matter if you voted Democrat. It doesn't matter
- 5:50Speaker 3: if you didn't vote. You get $ 5, 000. Here's what he's
- 5:54Speaker 3: not telling you, though, Paul, anybody, is that he doesn't
- 5:57Speaker 3: have the authority to just authorize this. The same thing
- 5:59Speaker 3: as those Doge dividends or any of the other ones.
- 6:01Speaker 3: He has to get Congress to pass it. And even
- 6:04Speaker 3: if Republicans held the House and the Senate, even Republicans,
- 6:09Speaker 3: I think you're not going to find a widespread.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Oh, there's no way.
- 6:12Speaker 3: Complete agreement on this. So at the end of the day,
- 6:14Speaker 3: it's kind of– in my opinion, it's a false promise
- 6:17Speaker 3: that later on either A, Democrats win and he just
- 6:21Speaker 3: gets to blame the Democrats and, oh, the Democrats are
- 6:23Speaker 3: so bad they kept you from getting $ 5, 000, or B,
- 6:27Speaker 3: it passes and then he used it to further divide
- 6:29Speaker 3: the Republican Party where he says, oh, I wanted to
- 6:31Speaker 3: do this for you, but even these fake Republican senators
- 6:35Speaker 3: are voting against it. It's just like– It's just another
- 6:38Speaker 3: hype tool. I mean, Trump does it. Other Republicans do this.
- 6:42Speaker 3: Democrats do it. This is just nasty politics. And unfortunately,
- 6:46Speaker 3: there will be some people who think it's true and
- 6:49Speaker 3: then will be heartbroken when it doesn't come to be.
- 6:51Speaker 3: I don't know if it's going to be. I don't
- 6:52Speaker 3: know if Republicans are going to win, but they had
- 6:53Speaker 3: to win both to get this. I doubt that's going
- 6:56Speaker 3: to happen.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Well, likelihood right now, I mean, the House, I think,
- 6:59Speaker 1: is all but lost. The question is the Senate of
- 7:02Speaker 1: where that plays out.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Yeah, pop. Coming in on this as well.
- 7:06Speaker 1: But he looks at it simply as, hey, the more
- 7:08Speaker 1: money that he hands out, back to your point, most
- 7:10Speaker 1: likely printer, the entire Bitcoin gold and land is going
- 7:15Speaker 1: to go. Which is the key for a lot of
- 7:17Speaker 1: this around commodities. Hey, I want to talk about the
- 7:20Speaker 1: Bitcoin situation because we saw a pump. that was significant enough,
- 7:26Speaker 1: I think, that set the market up into a bull
- 7:28Speaker 1: run thesis. That, of course, has retraced back some because
- 7:33Speaker 1: of the likely odds of a rate hike. We'll talk
- 7:36Speaker 1: about that in a second. I want to play this
- 7:38Speaker 1: clip for you, and then I want to get your
- 7:39Speaker 1: Bitcoin review.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Take a look.
- 7:43Speaker 9: Is this something where Bitcoin's surge is indicative of the
- 7:46Speaker 9: rest of crypto?
- 7:48Speaker 2: And then can it last?
- 7:49Speaker 9: So the initial spike was on a liquidation of shorts.
- 7:53Speaker 9: And we've seen a follow through on the spot side
- 7:55Speaker 9: where we've seen open interest grow is on the call
- 7:58Speaker 9: is on the option side with with call skew, meaning
- 8:00Speaker 9: people are buying upside and the actual futures volume or
- 8:03Speaker 9: the futures OIs come off. So it's kind of been
- 8:05Speaker 9: a healthy rotation for Bitcoin. The rest of the market
- 8:09Speaker 9: has seen a substantial amount of leverage enter the systems.
- 8:12Speaker 9: It's incredibly high in altcoins broadly, so ex-Bitcoin. We're approaching
- 8:17Speaker 9: leverage levels last seen in October 2025, just before we
- 8:21Speaker 9: had a very large liquidation and a pretty substantial move
- 8:25Speaker 9: lower in the market. I'm not saying that this move
- 8:26Speaker 9: isn't sustainable. I'm just saying you should proceed with a
- 8:29Speaker 9: lot of caution. Don't fall into this feeling of, I've
- 8:32Speaker 9: missed a move. Let me pile in now. We should
- 8:34Speaker 9: be treading cautiously.
- 8:35Speaker 3: But optimistically.
- 8:37Speaker 2: All right, so key words there, tread cautiously, but optimistically.
- 8:42Speaker 1: You look at the 82K high right there on that
- 8:45Speaker 1: week that.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Happened back on September 3rd.
- 8:48Speaker 1: When you look at the chart right now, Tim, where
- 8:51Speaker 1: are you playing this in terms of the downtrend that
- 8:53Speaker 1: we're seeing on Bitcoin right now?
- 8:55Speaker 3: When I look at the charts, It's actually kind of
- 8:57Speaker 3: funny because everybody right now is so bearish right now.
- 8:59Speaker 3: And again, I'm bearish in the sense of I'm shorting
- 9:01Speaker 3: the markets. But when you zoom out and you take
- 9:03Speaker 3: a look at perspective, when you look at the news
- 9:06Speaker 3: that's come out over the last couple of days, you
- 9:08Speaker 3: would think that Bitcoin is just falling apart right now.
- 9:11Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, 77,000 within the last two weeks doesn't
- 9:15Speaker 3: seem that great. But go back three, four weeks ago.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Go back over here into mid-August. If I told you
- 9:21Speaker 3: in mid-August that we would be in the middle of
- 9:24Speaker 3: September at $ 77, 000 per coin, You would be ecstatic. And
- 9:29Speaker 3: so what I'm actually looking at right now, one of
- 9:30Speaker 3: the reasons why I'm convinced that we're going to see
- 9:33Speaker 3: another higher low, whether somewhere here in the 75K range
- 9:36Speaker 3: or maybe even back down towards 70 before the next bounce.
- 9:39Speaker 3: is because the news right now is terrible. Everything, even
- 9:43Speaker 3: what we saw this morning with the PPI data convincing
- 9:48Speaker 3: bettors that we're going to have interest rate hikes here
- 9:50Speaker 3: next week, and yet the price is still hovering in
- 9:53Speaker 3: just a little flat zone right here that we've been
- 9:55Speaker 3: in for the last couple of weeks. That actually shows
- 9:58Speaker 3: me that bulls are holding up quite well. and bears
- 10:00Speaker 3: don't have as much power like the bears are roaring
- 10:03Speaker 3: really loud right now but they're not striking they're not
- 10:06Speaker 3: going in and putting their money where their mouth is
- 10:08Speaker 3: just yet uh let's see what happens as price probably
- 10:11Speaker 3: continues to drop here that's what i'm betting on But
- 10:15Speaker 3: go back and look at what we saw happen back
- 10:18Speaker 3: in the bull market of 2023. People were acting like
- 10:21Speaker 3: 2023 was nonstop bullish.
- 10:23Speaker 8: No.
- 10:24Speaker 3: If you go back over here, we broke through the
- 10:26Speaker 3: bear market trend line. We broke the 200 moving average.
- 10:28Speaker 3: We had a couple of weeks of really bullish action.
- 10:30Speaker 3: And then Bitcoin had a nice little correction right here.
- 10:33Speaker 3: We went from 25 back down to 19.6%. And people
- 10:38Speaker 3: were freaking out. And then we just bounced off the
- 10:40Speaker 3: 200 and the bull market took off. I think we
- 10:42Speaker 3: could see something very similar happen once again. You can
- 10:45Speaker 3: even kind of see the same type of movements and
- 10:48Speaker 3: looks that we had back in January 23. A move
- 10:51Speaker 3: back down to 70K and hit that 200-day moving average
- 10:53Speaker 3: would make a lot of sense.
- 10:55Speaker 10: All right.
- 10:55Speaker 1: So just to kind of reiterate what you just mentioned earlier,
- 10:58Speaker 1: because a lot of people may not be aware of this,
- 11:00Speaker 1: and that is the August PPI inflation came in, rises
- 11:03Speaker 1: to 5.4. This is above expectations of 5.3. Core PPI
- 11:07Speaker 1: rose to 4.6. This was the highest since June 2026.
- 11:12Speaker 1: So these are numbers, I think, that is causing the
- 11:14Speaker 1: movement that we've seen on the potential for Fed rate hike.
- 11:18Speaker 1: You tweeted on this, Tim. And it says, while year-over-year
- 11:22Speaker 1: PPI was high today, the month-over-month PPI actually beat and
- 11:26Speaker 1: matched expectation. Kind of net neutral report, your opinion. And
- 11:30Speaker 1: if you look at the chart on the likelihood of
- 11:33Speaker 1: a Fed rate hike, because this is going to have
- 11:35Speaker 1: some real significance. I'll kind of zoom in on that, guys.
- 11:38Speaker 1: That's setting at around 60% right now on a quarter. Bip,
- 11:43Speaker 1: where do you stand on this in terms of a
- 11:45Speaker 1: rate hike or a pause?
- 11:47Speaker 3: Yeah, so like I said in that tweet, everyone was
- 11:50Speaker 3: focusing on the one report that was hot, but there
- 11:54Speaker 3: was actually four numbers. There was year-over-year PPI, and then
- 11:57Speaker 3: there was core PPI. There was month-over-core PPI, and there
- 12:00Speaker 3: was month-over-month regular PPI. Of the four of them, two
- 12:03Speaker 3: of them matched expectation. One beat expectation. One was hot
- 12:07Speaker 3: and exceeded expectation. That's why I said that's net neutral.
- 12:10Speaker 3: But here's the other bigger detail. If you don't know
- 12:12Speaker 3: what PPI is, PPI is pretty much measuring the inflation
- 12:17Speaker 3: of like the suppliers. So when they're buying their goods
- 12:19Speaker 3: and services. The Fed looks at PPI. It's not that
- 12:22Speaker 3: PPI is ignored, but PPI is what you would call
- 12:25Speaker 3: a leading indicator, not the defining indicator. CPI is more
- 12:30Speaker 3: important to the Fed when they make their decisions. That's
- 12:32Speaker 3: what we get tomorrow. That's the customer inflation. And I
- 12:36Speaker 3: still think there's reason to be hopeful or believe that
- 12:40Speaker 3: we can match expectation or even maybe beat expectation. But
- 12:43Speaker 3: what I'm seeing right now, Paul, that even maybe confirms
- 12:46Speaker 3: that to me Like I said, I would say today,
- 12:49Speaker 3: when you don't just look at a freaky headline where
- 12:52Speaker 3: someone shows the one metric that was higher than expectation,
- 12:55Speaker 3: when you look at the fact that the PPI data
- 12:56Speaker 3: was actually neutral, but the odds are jumping up of
- 12:59Speaker 3: a rate hike, but the price is not. It's almost
- 13:03Speaker 3: like people want to go to these betting sites to
- 13:04Speaker 3: bet on it, but they're not running to exchanges to
- 13:07Speaker 3: sell off. Tomorrow can flip this on its head. Tomorrow's
- 13:11Speaker 3: CPI data could come out neutral or beat expectations. And
- 13:15Speaker 3: all of a sudden, we're having a show tomorrow and
- 13:17Speaker 3: we're saying, oh, the Fed's not going to raise rates now.
- 13:19Speaker 3: And all of a sudden, things start rallying once again.
- 13:21Speaker 3: I'm going to hold off to make my official judgment
- 13:24Speaker 3: till tomorrow when the data comes out. But my gut
- 13:27Speaker 3: right now, Paul, as we're recording this video, my gut
- 13:30Speaker 3: says manipulation is still at play. They really want people
- 13:33Speaker 3: bearish right now because tomorrow's information, which some people already
- 13:36Speaker 3: know the numbers of, could end up being a lot
- 13:39Speaker 3: better than what people think.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Okay, all right. So if that were the case, obviously
- 13:42Speaker 2: a pause would be in order.
- 13:44Speaker 1: The one thing that makes me a little nervous here, Tim,
- 13:46Speaker 1: of course, is the fact that we're seeing a $ 100
- 13:49Speaker 1: barrel of oil.
- 13:50Speaker 2: That is the breakthrough right now.
- 13:52Speaker 1: And this concerns me because this gets into those areas
- 13:56Speaker 1: where things can get heated very quickly. And if we
- 14:00Speaker 1: start to continue to see this, I mean, we've seen
- 14:02Speaker 1: analysts now pointing to $ 120. And if we start seeing
- 14:06Speaker 1: $ 6 and $ 7 drops, a gallon gas again here in
- 14:09Speaker 1: the U.S. Obviously, I think this is bad timing right
- 14:12Speaker 1: now going into the midterms, but it also put a
- 14:15Speaker 1: lot more pressure, I think, on the Fed as well.
- 14:18Speaker 2: So that is a concern.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I want to go to a clip here because this
- 14:21Speaker 1: clip is Morgan Stanley talking about how higher oil will
- 14:27Speaker 1: actually kind of put rates at risk.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Take a look. Higher oil and rates remain the main
- 14:32Speaker 2: risk to equities. in the mid-sem. It's a wall of worry.
- 14:36Speaker 11: This is our call for the whole year, which is
- 14:38Speaker 11: that earnings are going to be better than people expected.
- 14:39Speaker 11: It was even better than we thought, quite frankly. And
- 14:42Speaker 11: we've been derating all year. So it's not as if
- 14:44Speaker 11: the market is ignoring all of these risks. It's just
- 14:46Speaker 11: been digesting it in a way where it's not as
- 14:48Speaker 11: obvious to the casual observer. And to me, that's really
- 14:51Speaker 11: the story.
- 14:51Speaker 2: It's this transition now.
- 14:53Speaker 11: We're going from an early cycle recovery from the recession
- 14:56Speaker 11: of a year ago. We had all the rotation now
- 14:58Speaker 11: to the mid-cycle areas, the quality rotation That's very typical.
- 15:02Speaker 11: So I don't really see anything that's troubling to say
- 15:04Speaker 11: there's some end of cycle calamity that's going on here.
- 15:07Speaker 11: The market's dealing with all these risks, but we do
- 15:09Speaker 11: worry a little bit in the short term about oil prices.
- 15:12Speaker 9: All right.
- 15:12Speaker 1: So they are worried about oil and that is still
- 15:15Speaker 1: a significant one. You know, we've got a few days
- 15:17Speaker 1: left before an FOMC meeting. We've got, you know, obviously
- 15:20Speaker 1: a CPI coming out. That may be the real tale
- 15:24Speaker 1: that changes the dynamic in the market.
- 15:26Speaker 2: So everybody's going to be watching that one closely.
- 15:28Speaker 1: But if rate hikes were to occur, and you consider
- 15:31Speaker 1: what's going on with Circle right now as a stock
- 15:34Speaker 1: in general, where would you play Circle if rate hikes
- 15:39Speaker 1: go up? Because I mean, this is going to most
- 15:40Speaker 1: likely drive stablecoin yields up if we do see a
- 15:43Speaker 1: rate hike.
- 15:43Speaker 3: That's a good point. I don't know if I've really
- 15:48Speaker 3: thought through it that much as far as how it
- 15:50Speaker 3: affects Circle. I'm definitely more paying attention to altcoins. But
- 15:54Speaker 3: at the end of the day, if rate hikes go up,
- 15:56Speaker 3: that just will be a hurt to risk assets as
- 16:00Speaker 3: a whole. When it comes to Circle, I don't know.
- 16:03Speaker 3: I mean, obviously, you're talking about USDC. That could end
- 16:05Speaker 3: up doing quite well as people want to move back
- 16:07Speaker 3: into cash. And then that chance going into a stablecoin
- 16:11Speaker 3: would count as being cash. So there's a chance that
- 16:13Speaker 3: ends up being net positive for them. What I wanted
- 16:16Speaker 3: to comment on the video you just had right there,
- 16:21Speaker 3: that was Morgan Stanley talking, right? There was a representative
- 16:23Speaker 3: of Morgan Stanley. I never trust when big banks get
- 16:28Speaker 3: on television and try to push a narrative because they
- 16:33Speaker 3: are incentivized for this retail investors, their clients to be confused.
- 16:39Speaker 3: And so they, I'm not saying they always pay to
- 16:42Speaker 3: be on it, but like they own the media, right?
- 16:44Speaker 3: They control when they talk and when they're quiet and
- 16:46Speaker 3: what they say. And even anyone who backtracks some of
- 16:52Speaker 3: the negative and positive statements made by some of these
- 16:55Speaker 3: bigger banks over the last year and some change, you
- 16:57Speaker 3: don't have to go back years and years, 12 months.
- 17:00Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 17:01Speaker 3: They, they have a track record of getting on television
- 17:03Speaker 3: and assuring people that everything's okay. Right before a major
- 17:06Speaker 3: dip or telling everybody, watch out. We couldn't be able
- 17:09Speaker 3: to have a massive crash here. And then everything spikes
- 17:11Speaker 3: back up. So to me, I'm not saying because that
- 17:14Speaker 3: this interview, we have to go back up. I'm just saying,
- 17:16Speaker 3: it's curious that they're sending the representatives to, to fear
- 17:20Speaker 3: monger on television. They know that, I mean, they know
- 17:23Speaker 3: that people like you and me are going to grab
- 17:25Speaker 3: these headlines and talk on them. Even if we disagree
- 17:26Speaker 3: with them, they know we're going to spread this word
- 17:28Speaker 3: and they're counting on sheep to, to just fall in
- 17:33Speaker 3: line and respond how they respond. And a lot of
- 17:35Speaker 3: times they're doing the exact opposite with their money. So,
- 17:38Speaker 3: but I've been in a place here recently, if I'm
- 17:40Speaker 3: bullish and then I see one of these banks come
- 17:42Speaker 3: out and the representative says, Oh, everything's looking really good.
- 17:45Speaker 3: I kind of become like, Oh, maybe I'm off. Maybe
- 17:48Speaker 3: I got this one wrong. But when I'm bullish and
- 17:51Speaker 3: they come out and they get bearish, I kind of
- 17:53Speaker 3: get my feet digging the sand. I'm like, yeah, I'm
- 17:55Speaker 3: going to continue to believe that the bottom is in
- 17:57Speaker 3: for Bitcoin. I'm not saying we can't drop to 70K,
- 17:59Speaker 3: but I think the way they're talking about this fear
- 18:01Speaker 3: mongering about oil prices going up. If everyone thinks oil
- 18:05Speaker 3: prices are going to go up, that means retail is
- 18:07Speaker 3: going to sell and it's the perfect excuse for Wall
- 18:09Speaker 3: Street to buy the dip and make money at the
- 18:11Speaker 3: expense of retail. The scariest thing in the world is
- 18:14Speaker 3: when it's obvious there's a problem, but everybody still seems
- 18:18Speaker 3: so confident. That to me would be a very scary situation.
- 18:21Speaker 3: But with the banks putting people on TV saying, uh-oh, uh-oh,
- 18:25Speaker 3: this isn't looking good. AI might be over. That to
- 18:28Speaker 3: me says they just don't want retail aping in right
- 18:31Speaker 3: now because I think they want to save space for themselves.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, so a couple of things there. Earnings continue to.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Drive the market.
- 18:39Speaker 1: We do know that. It looks like it's not slowing down.
- 18:42Speaker 1: If you look at the S & P earnings history,
- 18:44Speaker 1: even over the last, really since 2010, it's been going
- 18:47Speaker 1: up like almost 26%.
- 18:49Speaker 2: So you've got that.
- 18:51Speaker 1: And of course, what Morgan Stanley was talking about is
- 18:54Speaker 1: that they felt like the market is still going to
- 18:56Speaker 1: be in this earnings cycle, but they're concerned about oil.
- 19:00Speaker 1: So it was actually, I think it was a bullish
- 19:02Speaker 1: take at the same time being concerned about where oil
- 19:06Speaker 1: and energy could drive the market. The other thing that
- 19:09Speaker 1: could drive the market here, Tim, of course, is what's
- 19:12Speaker 1: centered around clarity.
- 19:13Speaker 2: But we'll get to one.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Thing that could play on this, because I want to
- 19:17Speaker 1: kind of get your opinion on gold versus Bitcoin. But
- 19:21Speaker 1: here was Besant talking about clarity, really right down to
- 19:26Speaker 1: the wire here. And I don't know, I'm still trying
- 19:29Speaker 1: to find people that are still bullish that clarity is
- 19:32Speaker 1: going to go through because almost everyone I'm talking to
- 19:35Speaker 1: is very concerned this doesn't happen.
- 19:37Speaker 2: What's your take on it right now?
- 19:41Speaker 3: My take on it right now is it sounds like
- 19:43Speaker 3: it will be a Donald Trump decision. What we heard
- 19:46Speaker 3: even Republican senators say the other day is that they're
- 19:48Speaker 3: concerned that the Democrats are not going to vote in
- 19:51Speaker 3: support of it because of ethics, rules and stuff that
- 19:55Speaker 3: apply to President Trump. Is Trump going to play hardball
- 19:59Speaker 3: and say, no, I'm not going to just bow down
- 20:01Speaker 3: and just do whatever the Democrats want and then stick
- 20:03Speaker 3: his nose in the sand and then we get no passage?
- 20:07Speaker 3: Or will he say, fine, whatever. I want this to pass.
- 20:10Speaker 3: I want my legacy to do well. I want crypto
- 20:12Speaker 3: to do well. I'm willing to sacrifice gains I've made
- 20:16Speaker 3: and let this pass. We'll see if that plays out
- 20:19Speaker 3: that way. The good news is, is what Brian Armstrong
- 20:22Speaker 3: came out and said today. Because Brian Armstrong two months
- 20:25Speaker 3: ago told everybody that Hey, if Clarity doesn't come in
- 20:28Speaker 3: the United States, if there's not regulation, Coinbase is going
- 20:31Speaker 3: to leave and go overseas. So there was a little
- 20:33Speaker 3: bit of a fear there. It's like, man, we got
- 20:35Speaker 3: to get this passed or some of the best companies
- 20:36Speaker 3: in America will leave. He came out today assuring people,
- 20:40Speaker 3: even if the Clarity Act does not pass, regulation is
- 20:43Speaker 3: coming for crypto in the United States via the SEC
- 20:44Speaker 3: and CFDC. So my biggest takeaway, Paul, is like I
- 20:47Speaker 3: told someone, don't take these numbers I'm about to say
- 20:49Speaker 3: as like my predictions. But If the Clarity Act passes,
- 20:52Speaker 3: Bitcoin might make it to $ 500, 000 in the next bull market.
- 20:55Speaker 3: If Clarity Act doesn't pass, Bitcoin probably still makes it
- 20:58Speaker 3: to $ 300, 000, right? Not that those are my exact numbers,
- 21:01Speaker 3: but my point is, we're going to be bullish over
- 21:03Speaker 3: the next couple of years. The question is, how bullish?
- 21:07Speaker 3: And that's where the Clarity Act becomes important.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Well, first of all, just to make sure everybody understands
- 21:12Speaker 1: that when Congress comes back, they still have to go
- 21:15Speaker 1: through cloture, which is really the gateway through Thune. And
- 21:21Speaker 1: here's a clip when Trump was mentioning Thune, which I
- 21:24Speaker 1: think is interesting what happened.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Take a look.
- 21:27Speaker 4: John Thune is here from the Senate.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Where's John?
- 21:30Speaker 4: Where's John? No, no, John is working hard.
- 21:34Speaker 3: He's got great opposition.
- 21:38Speaker 4: He's got great opposition from the Democrat Schumer and these guys.
- 21:42Speaker 3: They're terrible. He's going to have great success.
- 21:45Speaker 4: You watch.
- 21:46Speaker 3: Maybe more important even than the Trump dividend.
- 21:50Speaker 4: Please pretend that I'm running and get out and vote
- 21:54Speaker 4: on November 3rd or sooner.
- 21:56Speaker 1: All right, so Thune gets booed there. So it is clear,
- 22:02Speaker 1: I think, that Trump kind of skirted around the idea of, hey,
- 22:07Speaker 1: we need to get this through.
- 22:09Speaker 2: So he kind of put Thune on the spot.
- 22:10Speaker 1: So we'll see how this plays out with, I mean,
- 22:14Speaker 1: because with Besant still pushing Who knows? But I think
- 22:17Speaker 1: you are right. I think the market is prepared either way.
- 22:20Speaker 1: They're prepared for an SEC CFTC structure or they're prepared
- 22:25Speaker 1: for something coming out of Congress going forward.
- 22:28Speaker 2: And let's play this out through.
- 22:30Speaker 1: The end of the year, because obviously midterms and the
- 22:32Speaker 1: lack of clarity may be real. But yet at the
- 22:37Speaker 1: same time, the market may be prepping up for this.
- 22:40Speaker 1: So where would ETH be end of year?
- 22:43Speaker 3: Yeah, so I love what Ethereum's chart has done recently.
- 22:45Speaker 3: It has one additional technical indicator that Bitcoin does not
- 22:49Speaker 3: have yet that I think is a pretty strong evidence
- 22:52Speaker 3: that Ethereum's bottom is in. Bullish divergences have come. We
- 22:55Speaker 3: beat the bear market trend line. We've beaten the 200
- 22:57Speaker 3: moving average. But Ethereum has a higher high than the
- 23:00Speaker 3: previous high in the bear market back in April.
- 23:02Speaker 11: Right.
- 23:03Speaker 3: So you break that structure, that bearish structure, you break
- 23:06Speaker 3: the trend and you feel really good about a big move. Now,
- 23:10Speaker 3: I had Ethereum dropping down as well. I mean, I'm
- 23:12Speaker 3: in Ethereum short now that I'm technically in profit on,
- 23:14Speaker 3: but just not by a lot. Because Ethereum is just
- 23:17Speaker 3: kind of pausing real quick. And if you take a
- 23:19Speaker 3: look at what we're looking at right here, Ethereum with
- 23:21Speaker 3: this explosive move and then just a boring little sideways movement,
- 23:26Speaker 3: that looks a lot like a bull flag. Like that
- 23:28Speaker 3: looks a whole lot like a bull flag is developing
- 23:30Speaker 3: there for Ethereum. I still think it would make sense
- 23:33Speaker 3: for it to cool off and come back down here
- 23:35Speaker 3: in the next couple of days or next week or two.
- 23:38Speaker 3: I've got some levels, two ones I'm looking at. First
- 23:40Speaker 3: one in the world at 2250, 2270. There's a sizable
- 23:44Speaker 3: breaker block at that level. The other one would be,
- 23:47Speaker 3: of course, move back down towards 2000, not quite to it,
- 23:50Speaker 3: but 200 and moving average retouch. I'd be looking for
- 23:53Speaker 3: movements there. But end of year. I don't think it's
- 23:57Speaker 3: crazy to say Ethereum could be back in the world.
- 24:00Speaker 3: I'm going to be a little hesitant to predict a
- 24:01Speaker 3: new all-time high, but I don't think it's crazy to
- 24:04Speaker 3: say we're back above 3,500 and potentially making pushes up
- 24:07Speaker 3: towards 45 to 4,700, back towards those highs of the
- 24:11Speaker 3: fall of 25.
- 24:13Speaker 2: That's a big push.
- 24:13Speaker 1: 45 to 4,700 would be a significant move.
- 24:17Speaker 2: On the market.
- 24:18Speaker 1: You look at, okay, so I want to jump over
- 24:20Speaker 1: to DEX volume because there's a lot happening on Uniswap.
- 24:23Speaker 1: You look at where Robinhood's heading, but look at these
- 24:26Speaker 1: DEX volume numbers right here on Uniswap V4, V2. We've
- 24:29Speaker 1: already seen kind of the growth right here on V3
- 24:32Speaker 1: and V4.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Significant.
- 24:35Speaker 1: And you look at where Robinhood is heading on this.
- 24:38Speaker 1: When you look at Uniswap, and we've talked about this,
- 24:40Speaker 1: it's been a pick on our channel for a while.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Would you look at Uniswap long-term in comparison to, say,
- 24:48Speaker 1: something like, well, let's compare it over to Solana?
- 24:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I think there's better potential for Uniswap. So if
- 24:54Speaker 3: you're an ROI person, you're just saying, hey, what can
- 24:57Speaker 3: I trade for the next year? There's a chance that
- 24:59Speaker 3: Uniswap has a better return on investment. I think fundamentally,
- 25:02Speaker 3: I think Solana is the safer pick.
- 25:04Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 25:05Speaker 3: I think balancing those two, ROI versus security, is important.
- 25:09Speaker 3: But I like Uniswap. I hold Uniswap. And this is
- 25:12Speaker 3: something we were looking for breakouts here a couple of
- 25:14Speaker 3: weeks ago. We had this orange line was when I
- 25:16Speaker 3: was looking for a big breakout on. Obviously, we've exploded.
- 25:20Speaker 3: I think it's too soon to call Uniswap an official
- 25:24Speaker 3: bull trend just yet because it's kind of hard. I
- 25:26Speaker 3: would say maybe making a move above $ 10, $ 10. 20- ish would
- 25:30Speaker 3: confirm the bull trend. But really great momentum. has come
- 25:34Speaker 3: in here for Uniswap. I'm trying to make sure. Yeah,
- 25:37Speaker 3: I mean, you go back over here. It was a
- 25:39Speaker 3: weird bull market period between 23 and 26 for Uniswap.
- 25:44Speaker 3: But the 200 moving average is moving in the right direction.
- 25:48Speaker 3: We got a lot of momentum kind of building there. Yes,
- 25:50Speaker 3: we're overextended right now. So I would not be buying
- 25:52Speaker 3: Uniswap right this second. I do think this is another
- 25:55Speaker 3: opportunity to wait and get a daily buy signal. I
- 25:58Speaker 3: don't even have to pull up a lot of indicators here.
- 26:00Speaker 3: I think the first level I'd be watching is around 480.
- 26:03Speaker 3: a former support level that we blasted through, or sorry,
- 26:07Speaker 3: a former, yeah, support level turn resistance. Now, could we
- 26:09Speaker 3: come back and bounce on that level once again? That'd
- 26:12Speaker 3: be an area to watch here. But no matter where
- 26:13Speaker 3: we hit, I'm looking at my oscillators. Give me a
- 26:17Speaker 3: 50 line on the RSI or a 30 with the
- 26:20Speaker 3: next daily buy signal, and I'll be looking at my
- 26:22Speaker 3: next swap purchase.
- 26:24Speaker 1: So around $ 470 there, guys, if you're not in the
- 26:26Speaker 1: token and you're thinking, hey, maybe this is something that might.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Be a target for you.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Look at the overall market of centralized exchanges. You compare
- 26:34Speaker 1: Robinhood to Coinbase. And let's say you were going to
- 26:37Speaker 1: just play it on the open stock market. Forget X
- 26:41Speaker 1: stocks or going into perps. Which one would you pick,
- 26:45Speaker 1: hood versus coin?
- 26:47Speaker 3: Yeah, this is one we made this pick in our
- 26:50Speaker 3: community months ago. I want to say this was something
- 26:53Speaker 3: we chose back in May when we were building a
- 26:56Speaker 3: beginner friendly portfolio. We included stocks and we were looking
- 26:59Speaker 3: at hood and we were looking at Coinbase and we
- 27:02Speaker 3: went with hood.
- 27:03Speaker 8: Right.
- 27:03Speaker 3: So our first purchase on hood was back over here
- 27:05Speaker 3: in the world of seventy five dollars. take a look
- 27:08Speaker 3: at where coin was back in May. You're looking at
- 27:11Speaker 3: more of a high. Coin was at 211. So anyone
- 27:14Speaker 3: who bought coin instead of hood, you're down a sizable
- 27:17Speaker 3: amount versus if you bought hood, you're up a sizable amount.
- 27:20Speaker 3: So we made the right choice here. My reason why
- 27:22Speaker 3: is because there was so much convoluted hating of Robinhood
- 27:27Speaker 3: back in 2021 because of their stuff with AMC and
- 27:32Speaker 3: with Stonks. It's not that I don't like Coinbase, right?
- 27:36Speaker 3: I have a Coinbase account. I actually hold a decent
- 27:38Speaker 3: amount of crypto in Coinbase. I think Robinhood's making a comeback,
- 27:42Speaker 3: and I think that you're going to have way more
- 27:43Speaker 3: retail investors who don't care about the centralized, decentralized arguments.
- 27:47Speaker 3: They don't care about this stuff. They look at the
- 27:49Speaker 3: fee structures. I think Robinhood has better fee structures than Coinbase.
- 27:53Speaker 3: It's more friendly towards people coming from the TradFi space.
- 27:57Speaker 3: I just had a hunch. I think Hood is going
- 27:59Speaker 3: to have a better bull run than Coinbase. That doesn't
- 28:00Speaker 3: mean Coinbase is going to be terrible. It just means Hood,
- 28:02Speaker 3: I think, is going to outperform it. And also, watch
- 28:05Speaker 3: that video.
- 28:07Speaker 8: It's crazy.
- 28:08Speaker 3: He's absolutely right. There's no difference between the ETF. I
- 28:10Speaker 3: don't own ETS. I'm not saying I don't understand why
- 28:13Speaker 3: people buy ETS, but I'm like, I would rather just
- 28:15Speaker 3: own Bitcoin or own Ethereum. If you buy the ETF,
- 28:18Speaker 3: you should understand, yeah, you're getting the value of Bitcoin
- 28:20Speaker 3: or the value of Ethereum, but you're not getting what
- 28:22Speaker 3: makes Bitcoin and Ethereum special in the same way that's
- 28:25Speaker 3: going to be the same world with tokenized assets.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Well, tokenized, I think, this is a bit different.
- 28:31Speaker 1: This is about access for tokenized assets. I think that's
- 28:35Speaker 1: the challenge that Wall Street is having with this because
- 28:38Speaker 1: it's turning these markets into 24-7 global markets versus what
- 28:42Speaker 1: we see right now.
- 28:43Speaker 2: Now, granted, that's going to change most likely.
- 28:45Speaker 1: But even then, to a certain extent, you're still going
- 28:47Speaker 1: to have places around the world that want to play
- 28:51Speaker 1: on the U.S.
- 28:52Speaker 3: Markets.
- 28:52Speaker 2: And this is going to be one of the ways
- 28:53Speaker 2: to do it for sure.
- 28:55Speaker 3: Hey, I want to go to the- You're going to
- 28:57Speaker 3: be trading control. You'll be trading control for ease of access, right?
- 29:01Speaker 8: Exactly.
- 29:01Speaker 3: You won't get the whole control, but you will be
- 29:03Speaker 3: able to get in and out faster, more efficiently, more creatively, cheaper.
- 29:07Speaker 3: It's what you're signing up for.
- 29:09Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Let's go to our lightning round, which you guys, if
- 29:12Speaker 1: you're not aware, this is where Tim and I and
- 29:14Speaker 1: some of our guests go through really fast questions and
- 29:18Speaker 1: where we stand on some of the situations that are
- 29:20Speaker 1: hitting the markets big time. Republican voters will believe Economic
- 29:24Speaker 1: relief is coming. Do you think that is the case?
- 29:28Speaker 3: Yeah, I think that I mean, I know there are
- 29:30Speaker 3: people in my life who I call it Trump derangement
- 29:33Speaker 3: syndrome on both directions, people that love him and hate him.
- 29:36Speaker 3: They both have Trump derangement syndrome. Republicans will believe. that
- 29:40Speaker 3: this is coming. And then when it doesn't happen, they'll
- 29:43Speaker 3: just agree with whatever the excuse is. Okay.
- 29:46Speaker 2: I am more on the no. Maybe not.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Maybe the charade is up.
- 29:52Speaker 2: We'll see.
- 29:54Speaker 1: SEC will pump the market the same night that Clarity
- 29:57Speaker 1: vote Closure clarity vote fails.
- 30:00Speaker 2: What do you think?
- 30:01Speaker 3: Well, you know, you're starting off with a will word there.
- 30:04Speaker 3: There's not an if, not an if word in it. Yeah,
- 30:07Speaker 3: I think the SEC and the, you know, hold on.
- 30:10Speaker 3: The question says the same.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Yeah, the vote fails. So what happens to the market?
- 30:16Speaker 2: Based on the SEC's saying, okay, we're going to roll.
- 30:20Speaker 3: I'm going to vote no. I'm going to vote no.
- 30:22Speaker 3: But if this question was like the day after or
- 30:25Speaker 3: two days after, I'd say yes. But I think they'll
- 30:28Speaker 3: allow the markets to respond. Okay. And it'll allow those
- 30:33Speaker 3: who believe to scoop up and buy the dip before
- 30:35Speaker 3: the run.
- 30:36Speaker 2: I'm in the middle on that one. Zcash flips hyperliquid.
- 30:43Speaker 10: No.
- 30:46Speaker 2: Oh, boy. Here we go. I'm going to say yes.
- 30:49Speaker 2: I think Zcash flips it.
- 30:50Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Solana flips XRP if Clarity doesn't pass.
- 30:55Speaker 9: No.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Well, how close is that right now? I don't even
- 30:57Speaker 3: know how close it is.
- 30:58Speaker 2: It's close.
- 30:58Speaker 1: I mean, Solana has actually flipped it once in and out.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Are you looking at CoinMarketCap?
- 31:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm looking at MarketCap. 58 versus 85. Huh. That
- 31:08Speaker 3: is closer than I thought. No, I'm going to still
- 31:12Speaker 3: say no. I'm going to still say no. I think
- 31:14Speaker 3: they both get an initial bad response.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Both get a.
- 31:18Speaker 8: Okay.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm in the middle on that one. I don't know.
- 31:23Speaker 1: Now you got me thinking. I kind of think that
- 31:26Speaker 1: it's going to flip it. I think it's going to
- 31:29Speaker 1: flip it if we see it, but we'll see. After
- 31:33Speaker 1: clarity fails, Trump will announce epic strategic reserve nonsense to
- 31:37Speaker 1: win over crypto.
- 31:39Speaker 3: You guys, your whole team is just so, the wording
- 31:42Speaker 3: of this question, just writing it in there, it's not
- 31:44Speaker 3: going to come. Are you guys betting on Polymarket? I
- 31:48Speaker 3: think that's where all the volume is coming.
- 31:52Speaker 8: From.
- 31:54Speaker 3: Yeah, yes. I think he will continue to push the
- 31:57Speaker 3: buttons and blame and try to win any support he
- 32:01Speaker 3: can get.
- 32:01Speaker 2: I'm with you on that one.
- 32:02Speaker 8: Okay. Yeah. All right.
- 32:03Speaker 2: What happens first? 88,000 Bitcoin or gold 5K?
- 32:04Speaker 9: Oh, man.
- 32:10Speaker 2: I'm going to just answer for you.
- 32:13Speaker 3: I actually wonder, I think, I actually, I might say gold.
- 32:18Speaker 2: Oh, okay. You're in my camp. I think gold hits
- 32:21Speaker 2: 5K first. Yeah, I think that's a doable. All right,
- 32:25Speaker 2: here we go. We got some other ones here.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Netanyahu winning the election will move the market up or down?
- 32:31Speaker 3: I think down. I mean, I don't think that, I
- 32:35Speaker 3: think the majority of the world does not like that man.
- 32:37Speaker 3: So I'm going to say down.
- 32:38Speaker 8: All right.
- 32:39Speaker 2: So you're going to say down? I'm going to go up.
- 32:46Speaker 2: I'm going to go up.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Banks will go extra crazy if rate hikes increase stablecoin yields.
- 32:54Speaker 8: Oh, come on.
- 32:55Speaker 1: You know, they're going to go nuts if stablecoin yields
- 32:57Speaker 1: go to 6%.
- 32:58Speaker 3: They'll get crazier. So let's say yes, because I guess
- 33:01Speaker 3: they're already crazy. So they'll go even more. Yeah. Okay.
- 33:03Speaker 2: More crazy.
- 33:04Speaker 7: All right.
- 33:05Speaker 1: D-Gen season begins the day after Clarity cloture fails.
- 33:11Speaker 3: D-Gen season. No, I think the D-Gen season is going
- 33:15Speaker 3: to have to wait a beat before things make sense.
- 33:18Speaker 3: I don't think you start the special run with D-Gen.
- 33:20Speaker 3: D-Gen is the follow-up to, hey, there's been some nice things.
- 33:23Speaker 2: I don't know, man.
- 33:24Speaker 1: I think we're already in D-Gen season. I mean, you've
- 33:26Speaker 1: got Laptop launching ridiculously along with many others. Let's forget
- 33:32Speaker 1: about what we're going to most likely see after. And
- 33:35Speaker 1: I think there's some projects waiting in the wings.
- 33:37Speaker 2: So I'm going to go yes.
- 33:39Speaker 9: All right, here.
- 33:39Speaker 1: FOMO app growth is proof that Coinbase is fumbling at
- 33:43Speaker 1: winning over the D-Gens.
- 33:46Speaker 3: See, I don't know much about this one. FOMO app
- 33:48Speaker 3: growth is proof.
- 33:51Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 33:53Speaker 3: I don't know. I'll just go straight.
- 33:55Speaker 1: Down the middle. I'll answer it, Greek. I'll put you
- 33:58Speaker 1: on a no answer on that one.
- 33:59Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 34:00Speaker 5: All right, Tim.
- 34:01Speaker 1: Listen, it's good to chat with you. I love doing
- 34:03Speaker 1: the charts. Thank you so much for coming in today.
- 34:06Speaker 2: We appreciate it.
- 34:07Speaker 3: Yes, sir. Thanks for having me, Paul.
