- 0:00Speaker 1: Tampa Bay's best music is Magic 94.9.
- 0:04Speaker 2: And welcome to a new episode of Scotty and Abby Unfiltered.
- 0:07Speaker 2: If you haven't yet, we got a YouTube channel now.
- 0:11Speaker 1: The YouTubes, you can check it out in our episode
- 0:13Speaker 1: description if you... Want to stare at us, which is weird.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Well, here's the thing. We do put a little bit
- 0:19Speaker 2: of effort into how we look. Like, not a lot.
- 0:22Speaker 2: I can't speak for you, but, like, I do a
- 0:24Speaker 2: little bit of effort in the morning.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I've gotten a little bit of... I've got some
- 0:27Speaker 1: DMs where people are like, you just look so different
- 0:29Speaker 1: than you did in Atlanta. I'm like, that's because I
- 0:31Speaker 1: would literally go straight from my bed to the Burt
- 0:33Speaker 1: Show Studios.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Would you really?
- 0:34Speaker 1: Yeah, and I kind of do the same thing here,
- 0:36Speaker 1: except I.
- 0:37Speaker 2: wash my face. Thank you.
- 0:38Speaker 1: And I try to have my hair styled a little
- 0:40Speaker 1: bit just because there's so much more focus on me.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Like with the birth show, I was like, okay, it's
- 0:44Speaker 1: going to cut to me like every two seconds and
- 0:45Speaker 1: you're going to see me for like 15 seconds. And
- 0:48Speaker 1: so it's like, who gives a crap how I look?
- 0:50Speaker 1: And now I'm like, Oh God, like there's only two
- 0:52Speaker 1: of us.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Yeah. It's gotta be on somebody.
- 0:54Speaker 1: And you're constantly like a busted. So I'm like, one
- 0:55Speaker 1: of us has to carry the face team.
- 0:57Speaker 2: It is funny how my routine in the morning has
- 0:59Speaker 2: changed because I've done it like once so far since
- 1:02Speaker 2: growing out my hair. Where it's like I wake up
- 1:04Speaker 2: and I can just throw in a hat and I
- 1:05Speaker 2: come in. Yeah. It just doesn't feel right.
- 1:08Speaker 1: You can't do it anymore.
- 1:08Speaker 2: I can't do it anymore.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Welcome to hell, Scotty.
- 1:10Speaker 2: It's a whole process now. The hair dryer, I got
- 1:13Speaker 2: the diffuser thing that you put on and you gotta
- 1:15Speaker 2: like throw it through your hair. I have noticed though,
- 1:19Speaker 2: my head's so much bigger now with this hair. It
- 1:22Speaker 2: definitely is. Like you can't tell me you don't look
- 1:24Speaker 2: at me and think, hey boy, I got a big
- 1:25Speaker 2: old head.
- 1:26Speaker 1: You do just look so different. And it's funny seeing people,
- 1:29Speaker 1: because we were at the Lightning Game last night and-
- 1:32Speaker 1: I don't know who came up to you. Was it
- 1:33Speaker 1: Ethan's wife? Yeah. So you look so different because yeah.
- 1:37Speaker 1: I mean, six months ago you had like the fifth
- 1:39Speaker 1: grader hair. You had the Stuart little kid hair. Could've
- 1:43Speaker 1: gotten you some, some lenses and you would look like
- 1:46Speaker 1: a little Stuart little kid.
- 1:47Speaker 2: It is wild. Cause I was joking with them, but
- 1:49Speaker 2: I really meant it. I was like, yeah, no, I
- 1:51Speaker 2: still look at the mirror and I'm like, huh?
- 1:53Speaker 1: Who is that? Who is that?
- 1:54Speaker 2: Who's behind me? No, it's me. And I was just
- 1:56Speaker 2: in the bathroom right now. And I was like, God, I,
- 1:59Speaker 2: This is not to say like it's not a compliment.
- 2:01Speaker 2: It's just like the hairstyle. I'm like, I look like
- 2:03Speaker 2: Prince Charming from Shrek. Like that's what my hair looks
- 2:05Speaker 2: like right now for me.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Kind of like squint, like close your right eye, close
- 2:10Speaker 1: your left eye. And then you plug both ears.
- 2:13Speaker 2: It's honestly ridiculous because I do put on hats now
- 2:15Speaker 2: and I'm like, I got to expand it. Because my
- 2:18Speaker 2: head's gotten so much bigger.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Because when my hair's cut, it's short. Like, my head's small. I've,
- 2:23Speaker 2: because of genetics, I don't know. My dad has a
- 2:25Speaker 2: small head. I got a small head. My brother was
- 2:27Speaker 2: gifted with a big old head. Yeah.
- 2:29Speaker 1: I feel like we gotta, so I feel like you'll
- 2:31Speaker 1: look less Prince Charming-y if you style it more, like
- 2:37Speaker 1: you have bangs. So for those who aren't watching the
- 2:40Speaker 1: video right now, you have your hair is doing what
- 2:43Speaker 1: my hair does.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:44Speaker 1: To where you get the McDonald's arches on your scalp
- 2:48Speaker 1: to where it looks like one big M.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Yes.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Yeah. Whereas I feel like it'll look more natural on
- 2:52Speaker 1: your head if it's more of like a bang, like
- 2:54Speaker 1: a swoosh.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Like a swoosh.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Yeah. Like push it down for a second.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 2:58Speaker 1: All the way.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Okay. This is going to look horrible then.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Did you just get it cut? No. Okay.
- 3:03Speaker 2: I've been trying to do a little more hairspray in it.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Don't do that.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Now I look like a little pony.
- 3:08Speaker 1: It looks worse.
- 3:10Speaker 2: I am playing around with it, but I need to
- 3:12Speaker 2: have somebody that actually could do it properly.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Because sometimes I slick it all the way back, and
- 3:17Speaker 2: I don't know if that's what I'm looking for.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:19Speaker 2: But my AI photo, chat said, when I throw it back,
- 3:23Speaker 2: I like that look the most. That's why I started
- 3:25Speaker 2: growing it back. Okay. Because there's some layers. But I
- 3:27Speaker 2: think maybe that's what I need.
- 3:28Speaker 1: We're getting there.
- 3:29Speaker 2: We're getting there. It's piece by piece. But now I
- 3:30Speaker 2: actually don't hate it.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Now I'm like... Okay, cool. Do you like yourself with
- 3:34Speaker 1: this hair butter? Yes.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Or do you miss the ease of- No, no, I
- 3:38Speaker 2: don't miss the ease of it. I like the hair better.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Uh-huh.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Like, for 80% of the time, I like this more.
- 3:42Speaker 1: We need to free the men of the high and
- 3:44Speaker 1: tight haircut. I don't know why everyone looks like they're
- 3:46Speaker 1: about to get drafted for World War III.
- 3:48Speaker 2: We're ready for it.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Come on, give us the hockey flow.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Did you notice, though, where were we? It was probably
- 3:52Speaker 2: Saturday at the Lightning game where a lot of guys
- 3:55Speaker 2: have a lot of hair now. Like, I've noticed that
- 3:57Speaker 2: a lot more. Like, even yesterday at the game- You know,
- 4:01Speaker 2: the guy that was there with us. Well, not a
- 4:04Speaker 2: sales dude. He had short hair. But a couple of
- 4:05Speaker 2: the other guys had some flow. They were growing it out, too.
- 4:08Speaker 2: And I was like, cool.
- 4:09Speaker 1: One of them, yeah, had the long hair flow. The others,
- 4:12Speaker 1: I didn't really... pay much attention to.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Well, they had good hair.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Yeah, they were sitting there. OK, so the people I'm
- 4:19Speaker 1: referring to, they literally. So we were in the suite
- 4:21Speaker 1: last night. We were in the Cox Media Group suite
- 4:24Speaker 1: and there were some people that were mingling with us.
- 4:26Speaker 1: So I know who one of the guys you're talking about.
- 4:28Speaker 1: He talked to us. He was literally sitting in front
- 4:30Speaker 1: of us the whole time. But there were two guys
- 4:32Speaker 1: that when we showed up, they just walked in and
- 4:33Speaker 1: just sat front row. And we were like, are they
- 4:35Speaker 1: supposed to be here? Because it was some clients and
- 4:38Speaker 1: we don't know the clients because we don't really work
- 4:40Speaker 1: with a lot of advertisers. And so they just like
- 4:44Speaker 1: walked in and I was like, they just really just,
- 4:46Speaker 1: we didn't really even question them. They're just like here
- 4:48Speaker 1: and we just kind of went with it.
- 4:49Speaker 2: It is kind of funny because you could technically just
- 4:52Speaker 2: walk into those suites and I'm not, I mean, I'm
- 4:55Speaker 2: sure people check.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:57Speaker 2: But like, it's not like you need a card access.
- 4:59Speaker 2: You just open the door.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Well, cause a lot of these times it's, it's, it's
- 5:02Speaker 1: the exact scenario that we were in where your company
- 5:04Speaker 1: gets a suite. You don't know who's coming in. You
- 5:07Speaker 1: don't know a lot of the people that are there.
- 5:09Speaker 1: So you're mingling and bumping elbows with clients and, So
- 5:11Speaker 1: you could probably walk into somebody's suite, like a company suite,
- 5:14Speaker 1: and just, I don't know, I mean, you could get
- 5:16Speaker 1: some free pizza at the very least. Not that it's
- 5:18Speaker 1: mind-blowing pizza, but.
- 5:20Speaker 2: I will say, though, like, I mean, you're kind of
- 5:22Speaker 2: picking on me. I was diving into those wings. They
- 5:24Speaker 2: were so good. Yeah. It was like fall off the bone.
- 5:27Speaker 2: I was like, gosh, damn, like, this is insane.
- 5:30Speaker 1: I know.
- 5:30Speaker 2: That's why I couldn't stop. I was like, okay, well,
- 5:32Speaker 2: if there's ever going to be a time to dive
- 5:33Speaker 2: into some food... I'm gonna do it.
- 5:35Speaker 1: When it's free considering how good their concession food is
- 5:38Speaker 1: and by good I mean like it's just solid concession
- 5:40Speaker 1: food and the mark which is the club level food
- 5:43Speaker 1: buffet I was surprised at the lack of bougie nests
- 5:47Speaker 1: of the Sweet food.
- 5:49Speaker 2: That's actually a good point because sometimes it's like a
- 5:51Speaker 2: whole spread where it's like this I was pizza wings
- 5:54Speaker 2: little burgers Yeah, all good, but it's not like I
- 5:58Speaker 2: don't know maybe some sweets have different things where it's
- 5:59Speaker 2: like with.
- 6:00Speaker 1: The broke-ass sweet and The sliders were good.
- 6:03Speaker 2: The sliders were very good. The bread was good. I actually,
- 6:06Speaker 2: I love the little chips.
- 6:07Speaker 1: The chips were good.
- 6:09Speaker 2: They felt freshly fried.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Yes.
- 6:12Speaker 2: And it was so good.
- 6:13Speaker 1: They were giving potato.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Did you like the cookies?
- 6:15Speaker 1: The cookies were solid. Nothing mind-blowing.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Yeah, no, just enough. It's nice that it's free. I
- 6:21Speaker 2: wonder how much it is, like, if you were just
- 6:23Speaker 2: to say, let's say, like, okay, because I'm about to
- 6:25Speaker 2: go to Key West for my birthday. If instead of
- 6:27Speaker 2: that trip, what would it have cost to, like, go
- 6:30Speaker 2: and have a sweet at the lightning game?
- 6:32Speaker 1: I'm going to guess $ 5, 000 to $ 10, 000.
- 6:34Speaker 2: You think so?
- 6:34Speaker 1: Let me ask ChatGPT.
- 6:35Speaker 2: That's a good question because.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Because it was also a Monday night game. Yeah. Against
- 6:39Speaker 1: the Flyers. You know what I mean? Against the Florida
- 6:41Speaker 1: Panthers on a Thursday or a Saturday.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Different story.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Maybe $ 15, 000. Let me ask.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 6:45Speaker 1: How much do suites cost at Benchmark International Arena?
- 6:54Speaker 2: I'm just curious as you're sitting there because you're like, okay,
- 6:56Speaker 2: the food's free, the drinks are free.
- 6:58Speaker 1: I was like, can we afford this? I was like,
- 6:59Speaker 1: why don't you just give me a raise?
- 7:00Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 7:03Speaker 1: No. Imagine what you could get out of me for
- 7:04Speaker 1: an extra 10K. Wow. What does it say? So executive
- 7:10Speaker 1: suites include 22 tickets.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Okay, so that's like what we were in yesterday.
- 7:14Speaker 1: So that puts the starting total at about $ 6, 000. And
- 7:18Speaker 1: I guess Chachapiti is just making an educated guess. Yeah.
- 7:21Speaker 1: So $ 6, 000. On the resale private rental market, you'll see
- 7:25Speaker 1: more variation. Current estimates put Lightning Suites around $ 3, 000 to $ 6, 000,
- 7:28Speaker 1: with another suite marketplace estimating around $ 4, 000 to $ 7, 000. Oh,
- 7:31Speaker 1: that's surprisingly economical.
- 7:34Speaker 2: That's reasonable.
- 7:35Speaker 1: For a business, I mean, or like a rich person
- 7:37Speaker 1: that lives on Bayshore. So for planning purposes, I'd budget $ 6, 000
- 7:40Speaker 1: for a 22-person suite or roughly $ 300 a person. So, okay,
- 7:41Speaker 1: there's 42 home games. Now multiply that by 42.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Oh, my God. The price that they're getting for it?
- 7:57Speaker 1: What is 42 times? I wonder if there's, like, a
- 8:00Speaker 1: buy one, get one free deal. Like, you buy 40 games,
- 8:02Speaker 1: you get two free.
- 8:03Speaker 2: I would hope so. Maybe some kind of deal.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Let's just do 5,000. I feel like that's a good,
- 8:07Speaker 1: even number.
- 8:07Speaker 2: But I don't know if I'd want to do it
- 8:08Speaker 2: for a game. I don't know. Because, like, a game,
- 8:11Speaker 2: it's kind of what we talked about yesterday. Like, anywhere
- 8:13Speaker 2: you go, you get a good view of the game. But, like,
- 8:15Speaker 2: a concert, that actually might be worth it. Yeah.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Okay, so if you were going to do a whole season...
- 8:22Speaker 1: Of home games. So it's 42 games, which I'm pretty
- 8:24Speaker 1: sure is correct. Yeah.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Times six.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Two hundred and ten thousand dollars. That's crazy.
- 8:30Speaker 2: That's crazy. But if you've got a business that's rocking. Yeah.
- 8:32Speaker 2: And you're like tax write off, I guess. Maybe. Yeah.
- 8:35Speaker 1: It is funny how we do kind of take for
- 8:38Speaker 1: granted going to as many lightning games as we want to,
- 8:40Speaker 1: because I mean, that's pretty expensive.
- 8:42Speaker 2: I mean.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Those mark tickets are, what, $ 300 to $ 400? Mm-hmm. And
- 8:45Speaker 1: they have 42 games. So what are we getting?
- 8:48Speaker 2: Well, we also are, like, again, like, that's when we
- 8:50Speaker 2: talk about these things. We're partners with the Lightning, like,
- 8:52Speaker 2: our radio station here, so it helps. But that's, honestly,
- 8:54Speaker 2: I was having kind of a mental, not a mental
- 8:58Speaker 2: breakdown yesterday.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 8:59Speaker 2: But as I was, like.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Let's unpack this.
- 9:01Speaker 2: No, no, no, no. Because we were getting ready for
- 9:02Speaker 2: the Lightning game, and I forgot that we were asked
- 9:05Speaker 2: to do that last week. And I was, like, okay.
- 9:07Speaker 2: And we talked about it on Monday, and I was, like,
- 9:09Speaker 2: All right, right now in this very moment, I'm overwhelmed
- 9:11Speaker 2: with my schedule today. And I got to make my
- 9:13Speaker 2: way out there. And I was sitting on my couch
- 9:14Speaker 2: and I was like, Brick, I don't, truthfully, I didn't
- 9:18Speaker 2: want to go. Because I was like, I got to
- 9:19Speaker 2: drive all the way to Tampa, which is like 40 minutes.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Then I got to find parking. I don't even know
- 9:23Speaker 2: if I have to pay for parking. It's going to
- 9:25Speaker 2: be a late night. I'm going to be tired. And
- 9:27Speaker 2: my whole thought process was, am I going to ruin relations?
- 9:32Speaker 2: Am I looking too greedy if I text Mike and say,
- 9:36Speaker 2: I'm going to pass on this game.
- 9:40Speaker 1: I mean, that's why I keep posting because I'm like,
- 9:41Speaker 1: I want as many perks as possible. I always want
- 9:44Speaker 1: the ticket to the suite. I always want the ticket
- 9:46Speaker 1: to the mark.
- 9:47Speaker 2: And that's why I felt bad because I was like,
- 9:49Speaker 2: who am I? I begged for these tickets. And then
- 9:51Speaker 2: the one time it's like a no brainer.
- 9:53Speaker 1: And then you didn't even show up to do social.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Well, I still did social when I got there.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Did you?
- 9:58Speaker 2: Yes, I did.
- 9:58Speaker 1: What did you post? Name one thing you posted. Name
- 10:00Speaker 1: five brothers.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Look at my story.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Oh, you posted on your story?
- 10:03Speaker 2: I'll post other things throughout. I actually have this post
- 10:05Speaker 2: that I'm going to create based off of like, I
- 10:07Speaker 2: didn't need therapy.
- 10:08Speaker 1: I just needed hockey.
- 10:09Speaker 2: It's going to be a bunch of clips of the lightning. Okay,
- 10:11Speaker 2: that's cute. I found that on the template.
- 10:12Speaker 1: There you go.
- 10:13Speaker 2: I didn't want to make that last night because it
- 10:14Speaker 2: was late. But once I got there, it was that
- 10:17Speaker 2: thought of, dang, like, I don't want to take this
- 10:19Speaker 2: for granted. Like, what a cool opportunity that, you know,
- 10:23Speaker 2: before I even honestly, a few years ago, I was
- 10:26Speaker 2: never going to lightning games, never had that access, never
- 10:29Speaker 2: was given tickets. So to now have it, I don't
- 10:31Speaker 2: want to take it for granted. So when the opportunity
- 10:33Speaker 2: comes and I was super happy and I round this
- 10:35Speaker 2: out by saying once I got there, I was so
- 10:38Speaker 2: happy I was there.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:40Speaker 2: It was just that, you know, sometimes your brain gets
- 10:42Speaker 2: a little anxious. I was like, well, if there's traffic. Okay,
- 10:44Speaker 2: that's going to be an hour. And then what if
- 10:46Speaker 2: I get there and I don't have parking? I got
- 10:48Speaker 2: to spend another $ 40 on parking. Money's already tight. My
- 10:51Speaker 2: car's broken down.
- 10:52Speaker 1: You can park on DI. Like, you can just park
- 10:54Speaker 1: in front of my house.
- 10:55Speaker 2: You know, here's the thing, Abby. You are a trooper
- 10:58Speaker 2: for making that walk because it is close.
- 11:00Speaker 1: I like that walk. That's a very enjoyable walk. For
- 11:02Speaker 1: those of you who are not familiar with Tampa, I
- 11:04Speaker 1: live in an area called Davis Islands. And getting off
- 11:07Speaker 1: Davis Islands sucks because it's just, I don't know, it's
- 11:10Speaker 1: just a lot of gross architecture. And then once you
- 11:12Speaker 1: get off Davis Island, you're on Bayshore. And Bayshore is
- 11:14Speaker 1: this really beautiful scenic walk with all the expensive houses.
- 11:17Speaker 1: You can see the skyline. As you're walking towards Benchmark
- 11:20Speaker 1: International Arena, it has all the gold bull. It's just
- 11:22Speaker 1: like very, gets you very amped up. It's like a
- 11:24Speaker 1: beautiful scenic walk.
- 11:26Speaker 2: I love the walk. My only problem is right now
- 11:29Speaker 2: it's still a little too moist for me outside. Yeah,
- 11:32Speaker 2: it's too hot. Your boy sweats. So if I walk
- 11:34Speaker 2: with you from DI, I will sweat. Be sweating my
- 11:38Speaker 2: ass off.
- 11:38Speaker 1: You will, because I was sweaty. Thank God I got
- 11:40Speaker 1: a blowout right before. Yeah. Because otherwise you'd be like, ooh.
- 11:42Speaker 2: I'm like, I have to clean up in the bathroom
- 11:45Speaker 2: a little bit. So I don't want to take those
- 11:46Speaker 2: games for granted. I'm very grateful that we have those opportunities.
- 11:50Speaker 2: And it was awesome being there.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Yeah, because that's a $ 12, 000 value. If you went to
- 11:53Speaker 1: every single home game.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Which we're not going to get that access.
- 11:57Speaker 2: It's going to start off hot. We'll probably dip down.
- 11:58Speaker 1: I don't know about you. Mike O, because I have
- 12:00Speaker 1: good relations with Mike O, our promotions guy. I have good.
- 12:03Speaker 2: He hired me.
- 12:04Speaker 1: I'm good.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Okay. I have a post going up today. Thank you
- 12:07Speaker 2: very much. We do. Okay. Now that we've spent some
- 12:10Speaker 2: time catching up, we have a lot of stuff to
- 12:11Speaker 2: talk about.
- 12:12Speaker 1: What do we need to talk about?
- 12:13Speaker 2: The fact that you literally nearly went to the hospital. Oh, yeah.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Because you mangled your hand.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Dear God, y'all. I was having a very peaceful Sunday.
- 12:20Speaker 1: I was recovering from a... from a, I don't want to,
- 12:23Speaker 1: I wasn't really even not hung over on Sunday, but
- 12:25Speaker 1: you know, when you just feel gross after drinking, I
- 12:26Speaker 1: was in one of those moods on Sunday where I
- 12:28Speaker 1: just didn't want to leave the house. I was just
- 12:29Speaker 1: kind of bopping around. But the one thing I was
- 12:31Speaker 1: looking forward to all day was I'm going to put
- 12:33Speaker 1: on my matching set and then I'm going to go
- 12:35Speaker 1: to solid core. And so as I'm sitting in my
- 12:37Speaker 1: house on a very lonely Sunday, Because there's no worse
- 12:41Speaker 1: day to be single than a Sunday. Being single on
- 12:43Speaker 1: a Sunday sucks.
- 12:44Speaker 2: That's an interesting thought.
- 12:45Speaker 1: You're hungover. You're by yourself. You don't want to hang
- 12:47Speaker 1: out with friends, typically. That's how I feel on Sundays.
- 12:50Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't want to see anybody. It feels
- 12:52Speaker 1: so gross. And so I was like, you know what?
- 12:55Speaker 1: I'm going to feel so much better after I get
- 12:56Speaker 1: my workout in. I'm going to go to Solid Core.
- 12:59Speaker 1: And right before, I was like, you know what? I
- 13:02Speaker 1: went on a walk and I got some sourdough from
- 13:04Speaker 1: the local sourdough lady. And I thought, I'm just going
- 13:08Speaker 1: to have a little sweet treat. Just a little tiny bite.
- 13:10Speaker 1: A little sweet treat. My big back was calling. It said, Abby,
- 13:13Speaker 1: remember the sourdough that's in the fridge? Oh. I remember
- 13:16Speaker 1: the sourdough that's in there. Anyway, so I go and
- 13:19Speaker 1: I get the sourdough out of the fridge. And I
- 13:21Speaker 1: grab just a random knife from my knifery. And then
- 13:26Speaker 1: I was like maladaptive daydreaming about something like my head
- 13:29Speaker 1: wasn't screwed on right. And then all of a sudden
- 13:32Speaker 1: it just slipped because the bread's kind of like a
- 13:35Speaker 1: big cinnamon roll. So it's not very like even if
- 13:37Speaker 1: that makes sense, which I'm assuming is why it doesn't
- 13:40Speaker 1: come pre-sliced. That's the other thing. Can we talk about
- 13:42Speaker 1: my social media from the last weekend? Because I'm scared.
- 13:46Speaker 1: I have ended up on incel straight man TikTok.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Have you?
- 13:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:51Speaker 2: The hell did you get there for?
- 13:52Speaker 1: I think it was the thunder bug. Video where I
- 13:55Speaker 1: was like making a joke that I was gonna shave for.
- 13:57Speaker 2: The mascot I'm gonna shave my entire body.
- 14:01Speaker 1: I have now ended up on their feeds because it's
- 14:03Speaker 1: just all these men in my comments making like rage
- 14:06Speaker 1: bait jokes like well Have you thought about getting sliced bread?
- 14:09Speaker 1: I'm like okay, Jared Some of us get artisanal sourdough
- 14:14Speaker 1: from the local sourdoughest.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Some of us know how to cut bread.
- 14:17Speaker 1: And yeah and some of us have serrated knives and
- 14:20Speaker 1: To be able to cut your artisanal bread. Some of
- 14:23Speaker 1: us aren't getting the Sara Lee from your local Kroger.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Okay?
- 14:27Speaker 1: This isn't buy one, get one. I'm going into debt.
- 14:30Speaker 2: This is fresh-ish.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Over somebody's sourdough starter.
- 14:32Speaker 2: This is homemade, bees.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Anyway, so I slice my finger. Ironically, my left ring finger,
- 14:38Speaker 1: which is just really just- Very symbolic. I know. And
- 14:41Speaker 1: then it's twisting the knife. For lack of a better term.
- 14:46Speaker 1: And I just start gushing blood. Like when I tell
- 14:49Speaker 1: you gushing, mama was gushing blood all over my cinnamon toast,
- 14:54Speaker 1: all over me, all over the floor. And. It was
- 14:59Speaker 1: a pretty clean cut. Like, I was really nervous to
- 15:01Speaker 1: look down because I was like, oh, my God.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Yeah. Like, what if your tip of your fingers like that's.
- 15:04Speaker 1: What I was thinking. I was like, and I posted
- 15:06Speaker 1: on social media because, you know, I'm I'm dedicated to
- 15:09Speaker 1: my craft. I'm like, what would a content creator do
- 15:12Speaker 1: in this moment in time? Post online about what I'm
- 15:14Speaker 1: going through. But genuinely, I I started gushing blood. And
- 15:17Speaker 1: once I started getting it under control and it stopped burning.
- 15:21Speaker 1: I was like, let me document this because I genuinely
- 15:23Speaker 1: actually don't know what to do. Like, is this cut
- 15:25Speaker 1: bad enough that I need to go to the ER?
- 15:27Speaker 1: Can I still go to solid core if I put
- 15:29Speaker 1: enough bandages on it? I don't want to get that
- 15:31Speaker 1: $ 20 late fee. And I post on social media being like,
- 15:34Speaker 1: you know, this is kind of poetic just in this
- 15:37Speaker 1: phase of life where I've been very open about the
- 15:40Speaker 1: fact that this has been the hardest age for me
- 15:42Speaker 1: to be single. Just with where my life's going, being 29,
- 15:45Speaker 1: I think, in general is really hard because you feel
- 15:47Speaker 1: like you're in 30 purgatory. Like, I'm so envious that
- 15:50Speaker 1: you're about to get out of thurgatory. Thurgatory? Thurgatory, where
- 15:54Speaker 1: you don't have to worry about being 30 anymore. You
- 15:56Speaker 1: just turned 30.
- 15:57Speaker 2: I would be 30. Like, it's happening.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Granted, you're a man. Your life's only going to get
- 16:00Speaker 1: better from here. But I feel like I'm in thurgatory,
- 16:04Speaker 1: where I... This is like the year leading up to
- 16:07Speaker 1: 30 and everything's going to be like, oh my God,
- 16:09Speaker 1: what am I doing with my life? And then I'm
- 16:10Speaker 1: going to turn 30 and be like, it's fine.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Yeah, everything's actually fine at that age.
- 16:13Speaker 1: So for me, I'm in purgatory with my singleness where
- 16:15Speaker 1: I'm like, my life flipped upside down and what am
- 16:17Speaker 1: I doing with my life? And I just want to
- 16:19Speaker 1: find somebody. And then as I'm like spiraling about that
- 16:22Speaker 1: and like, you know, trying to cope with it, I
- 16:24Speaker 1: slice my ring finger and then start gushing blood everywhere.
- 16:29Speaker 1: And of course, I'm by myself with my two cats
- 16:31Speaker 1: who are walking around in the blood.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Your cats are ready to eat you at that point.
- 16:34Speaker 2: They're like, if she goes down. And first bite. Yeah.
- 16:36Speaker 1: And I'm sitting there and I'm like the only I
- 16:38Speaker 1: just kind of had like a little teeny teeny teeny
- 16:41Speaker 1: teeny teeny tiny crash out. Nothing crazy. Just kind of
- 16:44Speaker 1: like it more of an exasperation than crash out. Just
- 16:47Speaker 1: kind of like, oh, my God, here I am. A
- 16:50Speaker 1: poor single woman of twenty nine, a spinster of twenty
- 16:53Speaker 1: nine cutting my finger. gushing my own blood all over
- 16:57Speaker 1: my kitchen and i have to be here to tell
- 16:59Speaker 1: myself it's going to be okay i have to clean
- 17:02Speaker 1: up my own blood if i have to go to
- 17:03Speaker 1: the er i have to take myself to the hospital
- 17:05Speaker 1: and just in that moment i was like you know
- 17:06Speaker 1: what i just wish there was some man that i
- 17:10Speaker 1: have minor resentment for but i've stuck out the relationship
- 17:14Speaker 1: with because we care for each other and i've already
- 17:17Speaker 1: met each other's friends and families i just wish there
- 17:19Speaker 1: was a man here which is words you'll never hear me.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Say ever Mm-hmm. That's the one time.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I just wish I had somebody. Like, I wish I
- 17:26Speaker 1: had that companionship. And I just had a moment where
- 17:28Speaker 1: I got online and talked about it. And then my comments, oh,
- 17:31Speaker 1: my God, the men in my comment section just make
- 17:32Speaker 1: me want to, like, slit my wrist.
- 17:33Speaker 2: I didn't even see those comments.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just guys being like, uh, women are cooked.
- 17:38Speaker 1: This is just called being an adult. And I'm like, understandable,
- 17:40Speaker 1: but also, like, shut the fuck up.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Yeah, also, like, here's the thing. Like, that's what sucks
- 17:44Speaker 2: about social. It's like, you could share your, like, raw emotion. Like,
- 17:47Speaker 2: here's exactly what I'm thinking. I'm just being honest.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Like.
- 17:50Speaker 2: If I don't say these things, I'm lying to myself,
- 17:53Speaker 2: and then people online are like, Get over it.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:56Speaker 2: You suck. You're being vulnerable. It's like what the one
- 17:59Speaker 2: time I'm being authentic on how I feel that a
- 18:01Speaker 2: lot of people are feeling that same way. Yes.
- 18:03Speaker 1: And that's why I posted it, because I thought that
- 18:05Speaker 1: is so poetic. And I know there are so many
- 18:07Speaker 1: other women that feel that we're like something. Something happens
- 18:10Speaker 1: to you. And you thought at this point in time
- 18:14Speaker 1: you would have somebody to do life with. And it's
- 18:16Speaker 1: just you. It's just you fucking you. Which is, again,
- 18:19Speaker 1: I get it.
- 18:22Speaker 2: But you're allowed to be upset about it.
- 18:23Speaker 1: But you're allowed to be like, fuck, it would be
- 18:24Speaker 1: so much easier if there was someone here to like,
- 18:26Speaker 1: like if you get sick or whatever, it's just me.
- 18:28Speaker 1: It's just me. When I was sick all last week,
- 18:30Speaker 1: it was just me.
- 18:31Speaker 2: He's got to take care of you.
- 18:33Speaker 1: When I sliced my finger, it was me with one hand.
- 18:35Speaker 1: I'm like on just with the one thumb I have
- 18:38Speaker 1: on my phone trying to find the local urgent care.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Yeah, because you're like, what?
- 18:42Speaker 1: Driving myself. My finger is hanging off and I'm driving
- 18:45Speaker 1: myself with my bleeding hand. to the channel side, TGH, um,
- 18:52Speaker 1: Tampa general hospital, the definition of an independent woman.
- 18:55Speaker 2: I know.
- 18:55Speaker 1: I was just having a moment. And what's so funny
- 18:57Speaker 1: is I show up to urgent care the next day.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Cause the other reason I decided to post online was
- 19:02Speaker 1: I knew there would probably be somebody who followed me who.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Would know what to do.
- 19:05Speaker 1: And I was like, this is the community I know
- 19:07Speaker 1: I can lean on right now. I have a lot
- 19:08Speaker 1: of friends spread out across the world. The one person
- 19:12Speaker 1: I can rely on right now is my following. And
- 19:14Speaker 1: so there were people in my DMS having me send
- 19:16Speaker 1: photos and they were giving me advice. And I had a,
- 19:18Speaker 1: One girl I went to college with that was like, okay,
- 19:22Speaker 1: it looks kind of fine, but I don't know that
- 19:24Speaker 1: it's going to heal correctly if you don't get stitches.
- 19:26Speaker 1: So she was like, if I were you, I would
- 19:28Speaker 1: go to the ER. And so I'm sitting there going, literally,
- 19:31Speaker 1: this is so funny. I'm just sitting there. I'm like,
- 19:33Speaker 1: that's a lot of work. I'm actively bleeding out. I'm like,
- 19:37Speaker 1: that's a lot. And also I'm thinking, how much is
- 19:39Speaker 1: that going to cost? Like to go to the ER
- 19:41Speaker 1: and then I'm going to be stuck there all night
- 19:42Speaker 1: and I'm going to be tired. Am I going to
- 19:44Speaker 1: let the lightning in the next day? I don't want
- 19:45Speaker 1: to do. So I was like, you know what? I
- 19:47Speaker 1: think if I put enough pressure on it, I'll probably
- 19:48Speaker 1: be fine to go to urgent care the next day.
- 19:49Speaker 1: i go to urgent care the next day and this
- 19:52Speaker 1: is how my mind works because i'm thinking my mind
- 19:55Speaker 1: likes to finish stories in my head of course like
- 19:57Speaker 1: i'm definitely like a big i'm a storyteller in my
- 20:00Speaker 1: head like things will happen and i like to finish
- 20:03Speaker 1: the ending in my head if that makes sense like
- 20:05Speaker 1: if something bad happens to me i think well, what's
- 20:08Speaker 1: a magical way this could turn around?
- 20:10Speaker 2: That's a good way to think of it.
- 20:11Speaker 1: And I was in the urgent care, and I had
- 20:15Speaker 1: my hand sprawled out, again, my left ring finger, and
- 20:18Speaker 1: the nurse kind of looked it over, and she's like,
- 20:19Speaker 1: you're fine. I'm like, that's not what the internet told
- 20:21Speaker 1: me yesterday, but whatever. She goes, okay, I'm going to
- 20:25Speaker 1: go get the doctor. His name is Andrew. He'll be
- 20:27Speaker 1: in here soon. And the way my mind works is, oh,
- 20:30Speaker 1: my God, this would be the cutest me cute of
- 20:32Speaker 1: all time. Like, he comes in. It's my ring finger.
- 20:35Speaker 1: He's got to, like, patch up.
- 20:37Speaker 2: He's like holding it.
- 20:38Speaker 1: He's hot. He's like, he's a cute new, I don't know,
- 20:43Speaker 1: PA or whoever works there. And he mends me up
- 20:46Speaker 1: and he goes, wow, you're really beautiful when you're not
- 20:48Speaker 1: actively bleeding on your kitchen floor.
- 20:50Speaker 2: He's like, you want me to check on you a
- 20:52Speaker 2: couple days later? Would you like to get married? Everything's okay.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Can I take care of your ring finger for the
- 20:56Speaker 1: rest of our lives? And of course that didn't happen.
- 20:58Speaker 2: It was just.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Some man.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Some man probably married.
- 21:03Speaker 1: And he was just looking at my finger. He's like, yeah,
- 21:05Speaker 1: you're good. I'm like, so why did I come here?
- 21:07Speaker 1: Now I got to pay $ 80 for you to just go.
- 21:08Speaker 1: You're fine. So.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Well, it looks good, though.
- 21:12Speaker 1: I got a tetanus shot.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Yeah. You know, maybe you're about to get tetanus. It's
- 21:16Speaker 2: preventing you from that. I guess the hindsight, at least
- 21:19Speaker 2: he didn't cut it off. Can you imagine having like
- 21:21Speaker 2: a little nub right there?
- 21:23Speaker 1: I can't even tell you. Like, that's the only way
- 21:25Speaker 1: this year could get worse.
- 21:26Speaker 2: If you actually cut off your finger?
- 21:28Speaker 1: Yes, I would be so upset. I feel like that
- 21:30Speaker 1: would just be like the universe going, girl, give it up.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Delete hinge.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Well, delete hinge, yes.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Can we talk about fuck-ass smiley guy?
- 21:40Speaker 2: Yeah. Because this situation just... I'm just waiting for it
- 21:44Speaker 2: to get better.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Did I not tell you? I know.
- 21:46Speaker 2: I know.
- 21:47Speaker 1: I told you something was going to happen. And I
- 21:50Speaker 1: kind of feel like it's because I went viral this weekend.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Here is a real thought. We were talking about this
- 21:55Speaker 2: over the weekend.
- 21:55Speaker 1: It's like....
- 21:57Speaker 2: Is it because we talk about it so much? Do
- 22:00Speaker 2: you think?
- 22:01Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Sometimes I underestimate how many people listen to this.
- 22:04Speaker 1: The thing is, is guys will actively seek you out.
- 22:06Speaker 1: And I've had this conversation on The Burt Show before
- 22:08Speaker 1: where I'm like, I feel like guys ask me out
- 22:10Speaker 1: and then they get cold feet because they're like, oh,
- 22:13Speaker 1: she talks about things. And to be fair, I did
- 22:14Speaker 1: talk about this guy a lot.
- 22:16Speaker 2: You do.
- 22:16Speaker 1: But I just didn't realize the podcast is popular, but
- 22:19Speaker 1: it's not that popular. It's not in my bio. Like,
- 22:23Speaker 1: where would he find it? Do you know what I mean?
- 22:25Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 22:26Speaker 2: And also, I don't know why, like, nothing that has
- 22:30Speaker 2: been said so far would have made me go, I'm out.
- 22:34Speaker 1: You don't think so? You don't think the pure fact that, okay,
- 22:36Speaker 1: hang on. Let me back up for any new listeners.
- 22:39Speaker 1: I recently got back on the dating apps and I matched,
- 22:41Speaker 1: I actually liked this guy. I thought he looked cute
- 22:43Speaker 1: and normal. And the only thing I didn't like about
- 22:46Speaker 1: him was he kept using this, what I've been calling
- 22:47Speaker 1: the fuck ass smiley face. Yeah, yeah. Where he uses
- 22:50Speaker 1: the colon and the parentheses. But he's not even. Old school.
- 22:54Speaker 1: He's not even doing it the right way. He's doing parentheses, colon.
- 22:58Speaker 1: And it's colon, parentheses. Everybody knows this.
- 23:00Speaker 2: That's how we grew up in the 2000s, texting on
- 23:02Speaker 2: our little flip phones.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Yes. So I'm like, what are you, a psychopath?
- 23:05Speaker 2: What is it? And why all the time? Like, one
- 23:07Speaker 2: time's kind of cute. Like, all right, can't wait for
- 23:09Speaker 2: a date.
- 23:10Speaker 1: One time, okay. Two times, whatever.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Every time?
- 23:15Speaker 1: Every time? Come on now.
- 23:16Speaker 2: Kind of crazy.
- 23:17Speaker 1: So anyway, I match with this guy. We go back
- 23:18Speaker 1: and forth. He immediately asked me out because he noticed
- 23:21Speaker 1: the Raze picture.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Yeah, that we all agreed was like the best photo.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Yes. And he was like, are you a big Rays gal?
- 23:30Speaker 1: And I said, I'm a big sports gal. He goes,
- 23:31Speaker 1: we should go to a playoff game. And I was like, well, damn,
- 23:33Speaker 1: I would like to go to a playoff game. Maybe
- 23:37Speaker 1: he was at the playoff game last night and that's
- 23:39Speaker 1: why he doesn't want to go out tonight. Anyway. That's
- 23:41Speaker 1: a lot of what ifs. Anyway. I matched with this
- 23:44Speaker 1: guy and I basically am just like, ask me out. Like,
- 23:46Speaker 1: but he said, oh, we should do a playoff game.
- 23:48Speaker 1: And I said, we should meet for drinks before and
- 23:51Speaker 1: just make sure we don't hate each other. Cause baseball,
- 23:53Speaker 1: baseball be long. Heck yeah.
- 23:55Speaker 2: And what do you guys sit down and you're like, oh,
- 23:56Speaker 2: there's nothing here. We're going to sit there the whole game.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 23:58Speaker 2: No, I can't do that. Absolutely not.
- 24:00Speaker 1: So, um, I basically said, when are you free? I
- 24:04Speaker 1: can do Thursday or maybe on Saturday or Sunday, which they,
- 24:08Speaker 1: if he'd taken me out on Sunday, I would have
- 24:10Speaker 1: never sliced my hand.
- 24:11Speaker 2: This man is the reason.
- 24:13Speaker 1: This man is the reason.
- 24:14Speaker 2: The urgent care visit.
- 24:16Speaker 1: So I match, yeah, I tell him my availability because
- 24:20Speaker 1: I'm like, let's just do it immediately because I have
- 24:21Speaker 1: found like it's just too awkward if you wait too
- 24:23Speaker 1: long because you're just sitting in each other's messages. Do
- 24:26Speaker 1: you talk? Do you not talk? What do you talk about?
- 24:29Speaker 1: And basically he said he couldn't do anything until Tuesday.
- 24:36Speaker 1: And I was like, But I just knew, like, somebody's
- 24:39Speaker 1: going to, that's too much time.
- 24:40Speaker 2: It is too much time.
- 24:40Speaker 1: I got to get you in person immediately. So I said, yeah,
- 24:44Speaker 1: I can probably do a Bev. And then I said,
- 24:46Speaker 1: let's do it. So the next morning he goes, so
- 24:48Speaker 1: this is, we made those plans Thursday. It's now Friday.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Friday morning at 5.30 a.m.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Gosh dang, he was excited.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Ready to meet you. Good morning. And then I said, morning,
- 25:01Speaker 1: I'll see you Tuesday. Just let me know where and when.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Because I'm like.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Dude. Yeah, like, we don't need to go back and forth. Like,
- 25:06Speaker 2: let's just lock in the plans.
- 25:07Speaker 1: I appreciate the gesture.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Of course. I'm like that, too. Like, I'm a very
- 25:11Speaker 2: enthusiastic texter. Like, let's go. Yep.
- 25:13Speaker 1: I'm like, thank you. Appreciate it. Where are we going?
- 25:16Speaker 1: And then he said, okay, I'll start thinking. That was Friday.
- 25:20Speaker 1: So I go, okay, he's going to think, and then
- 25:22Speaker 1: he's going to tell me where he wants to go.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Correct.
- 25:24Speaker 1: That's logic. So when I don't hear from him all weekend,
- 25:28Speaker 1: yesterday I go, have you thought about it yet? And
- 25:32Speaker 1: he has not responded.
- 25:34Speaker 2: My God, as it's supposed to be tonight.
- 25:38Speaker 1: It's supposed to be tonight. So I'm going to unmatch him.
- 25:42Speaker 2: Well, no, you got to ride it out for the
- 25:43Speaker 2: rest of the day. He might pop in there.
- 25:45Speaker 1: However... No, because I want to make a point. I
- 25:47Speaker 1: want to make a point.
- 25:48Speaker 2: But then you don't get to make the point.
- 25:50Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 25:50Speaker 2: I guess it's not already... Now it's very, very against...
- 25:55Speaker 2: This would be so weird to be like the dates
- 25:58Speaker 2: tonight here like that's rude.
- 26:00Speaker 1: To you I'm not going out with him tonight. If
- 26:02Speaker 1: he wants to go out tomorrow. I'll go out with
- 26:04Speaker 1: him tomorrow Yeah, and that's it I'll go out with
- 26:08Speaker 1: him Wednesday. I got plans Thursday Yeah, I would say
- 26:13Speaker 1: I mean, I.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Don't know I guess it's like if you want it's just.
- 26:16Speaker 1: I just kind of want to make a point and
- 26:17Speaker 1: be like dude You don't get access to my photos now.
- 26:21Speaker 1: I don't know what you're doing with those photos I
- 26:23Speaker 1: know they're on Instagram, but I don't want you to
- 26:25Speaker 1: think I want you to see those photos.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. Like, I don't want you to think you
- 26:27Speaker 2: still have a chance because you literally like made me wait.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Like you don't do that to somebody. Yeah.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Cause either here's what happened. One of two things. He
- 26:36Speaker 1: either found my social media and was like, Ooh, I
- 26:38Speaker 1: don't know how I feel about this girl being all
- 26:40Speaker 1: up in the social media space. Which then, you know,
- 26:43Speaker 1: you're not for me anyway.
- 26:45Speaker 2: Correct.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Because I don't want to feel like you're embarrassed about
- 26:49Speaker 1: what I do because there's a part of me that's
- 26:51Speaker 1: embarrassed about what I do.
- 26:52Speaker 2: We can't have two people embarrassed.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Yeah, two of us can't hate me. I need somebody
- 26:55Speaker 1: to love me.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Oh my God.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Or you met somebody else, which is I think probably
- 27:01Speaker 1: what happened. Like you found some other bitch.
- 27:03Speaker 2: I mean, maybe. And I mean, maybe it is that
- 27:06Speaker 2: he saw you online. He's like, OK, I can't handle that.
- 27:09Speaker 2: I'm not man enough to handle that.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:10Speaker 2: And that's probably it.
- 27:11Speaker 1: That's what it is. He's just not man enough to
- 27:13Speaker 1: handle it.
- 27:13Speaker 2: That's I literally look at it like I remember having
- 27:15Speaker 2: these conversations like me and Brianda. It's like one of
- 27:17Speaker 2: the things that we agreed on. It's like we support
- 27:19Speaker 2: each other in that, especially the online space because of
- 27:21Speaker 2: what we both do. Like you need somebody that's going
- 27:23Speaker 2: to do that. If you get intimidated that I post
- 27:25Speaker 2: and things go viral and I have opinions. shoot let's
- 27:28Speaker 2: just save ourselves the time and the money yes let's
- 27:30Speaker 2: not even do that that's just.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Not something I want to feel I don't want to
- 27:33Speaker 1: feel because when you put yourself out online there is
- 27:36Speaker 1: just an element of cringe until it's not cringe.
- 27:39Speaker 2: Oh my god every single time and if.
- 27:42Speaker 1: You've ever wondered oh how does Abby feel so confident
- 27:44Speaker 1: to post that or do you know do what she
- 27:46Speaker 1: does I cringe every time I post because I'm like
- 27:48Speaker 1: why am I posting this does anyone care is anyone
- 27:51Speaker 1: gonna watch this um and I don't want you to
- 27:55Speaker 1: to be cringed out with me I want you to
- 27:58Speaker 1: be like, yeah, like post it. Like what's the worst
- 27:59Speaker 1: that could happen?
- 28:00Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. Like supporting that because that's literally what you do.
- 28:03Speaker 2: You are a creator and you will continue to create.
- 28:05Speaker 2: And so the person that comes along and we're assuming
- 28:07Speaker 2: maybe it's not that, but it is annoying. Like you said,
- 28:09Speaker 2: you're thinking you left me hanging on a thread and
- 28:12Speaker 2: now you haven't even got back to me. Yeah. Goodbye.
- 28:14Speaker 1: I just think guys have too many options when they're
- 28:16Speaker 1: on the dating apps. I just got to get off
- 28:18Speaker 1: because I think because I saw him and I was like, oh,
- 28:20Speaker 1: he looks normal.
- 28:21Speaker 2: But what would you do differently? Like, let's say like, OK,
- 28:23Speaker 2: forget the dating apps. We just like all together. Just
- 28:25Speaker 2: live life.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I think I just rather would meet
- 28:28Speaker 1: somebody in person.
- 28:29Speaker 2: I think so too.
- 28:30Speaker 1: And I just think that's how I'm going to meet
- 28:31Speaker 1: my person. I think it just sucks not being on
- 28:34Speaker 1: the apps because it reminds me of just how big
- 28:36Speaker 1: the void is of not having anyone romantically. And sometimes
- 28:39Speaker 1: just the dating apps reminds me that I'm still like
- 28:42Speaker 1: someone that can experience romance.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Yeah, like you could have daily conversations at least.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Yeah, it feels like I'm doing something. But at the
- 28:49Speaker 1: end of the day, I think I just need to
- 28:50Speaker 1: get off of it. And you know what? I'm getting
- 28:52Speaker 1: a lot of traction online that I'm kind of hoping
- 28:53Speaker 1: if I just look hot enough online... Some man will
- 28:56Speaker 1: slide into my DMs.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Somebody will pop up. Somebody was going to get up
- 28:59Speaker 2: in there. But also, like, I don't know. They got
- 29:01Speaker 2: run clubs every night. Just popping out in person. Daily conversations.
- 29:04Speaker 2: But it is. I guess I could understand the dating
- 29:07Speaker 2: apps would make you feel like, OK, there's a little
- 29:08Speaker 2: bit of validation there. Like, OK, I'm still relevant here. Like,
- 29:12Speaker 2: it's not like it's not really me.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not not trying.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Correct. Like, I'm doing my part. But if that's going
- 29:18Speaker 2: to continuously be the case, it's kind of, you know,
- 29:20Speaker 2: I was thinking about this with certain followers I have on.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Every time I see them, I feel worse. Like there's
- 29:26Speaker 2: certain people that I follow and I compare this to
- 29:28Speaker 2: like every time you're on a dating app and this happens,
- 29:31Speaker 2: feel worse. Like it just doesn't help the situation.
- 29:33Speaker 1: Okay. Give me an example for you. Not for me.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Because when they're like, this is your most compatible, and
- 29:39Speaker 1: it's Igor, Igor the Sasquatch Man.
- 29:43Speaker 2: Like, we have to know when to walk away from
- 29:45Speaker 2: a certain environment, when it's just not serving us for
- 29:48Speaker 2: the benefit. Like, the positives maybe are 30%, but the
- 29:50Speaker 2: negatives are 70%. So I'm like, all right, there's certain
- 29:53Speaker 2: male influencers in this Tampa Bay area I catch the
- 29:56Speaker 2: way I feel when I see them and one of
- 29:58Speaker 2: us all yesterday like literally just running in Tampa I
- 30:00Speaker 2: was like oh.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Like you don't feel like you're doing as good as
- 30:02Speaker 1: them yeah.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Yeah like I started like comparing myself negatively and I
- 30:05Speaker 2: was like why am I putting myself through that.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Wait move your mic I want to know who it
- 30:08Speaker 1: is oh my okay so bitch do not compare yourself.
- 30:18Speaker 2: Here's why though here's what I just I felt I Okay,
- 30:22Speaker 2: let me try that.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Yeah, let's unpack this. So I'm not going to reveal
- 30:25Speaker 1: who it is, obviously. Yeah, yeah, no.
- 30:26Speaker 2: I don't think I actually have a problem with this person.
- 30:29Speaker 2: I think him and I would be fine.
- 30:30Speaker 1: Are you envious of him?
- 30:32Speaker 2: I think there's a smidge of me that was envious yesterday.
- 30:36Speaker 2: And I thought, here's how my thought process went. I
- 30:37Speaker 2: was like, if I feel that when I see them online...
- 30:41Speaker 2: Why am I putting myself through that of seeing them online?
- 30:44Speaker 2: I have the power of just clicking unfollow. Like, they're
- 30:46Speaker 2: not bringing me any benefit. You know what I'm saying?
- 30:48Speaker 1: Okay, I'm going to describe this person in vague terms.
- 30:51Speaker 1: Just so people kind of have context for when we
- 30:54Speaker 1: just start getting into this. Because I have some questions
- 30:55Speaker 1: for you. So this is a younger male influencer who
- 31:01Speaker 1: he's ripped. He's very social. He's very active in the
- 31:05Speaker 1: Tampa community. Yeah. Um, any other vague words you would
- 31:09Speaker 1: use to describe him that you think other people, he's
- 31:10Speaker 1: just like, he's a male, he's a hot male influencer.
- 31:13Speaker 1: He's younger than us. Um, and he's probably a full
- 31:18Speaker 1: time influencer.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:20Speaker 2: I think so.
- 31:20Speaker 1: He's just one of those hot young people doing Friday
- 31:23Speaker 1: stares every, every week.
- 31:25Speaker 2: That group has gone out of control. But yeah, I
- 31:28Speaker 2: think it was like a little bit of envy. I
- 31:29Speaker 2: was like, damn, like I, I, he's getting access to
- 31:33Speaker 2: all these things. I don't know. I was just taking
- 31:36Speaker 2: it out negatively on me in that moment.
- 31:38Speaker 1: Access, and just give me a vague example. You don't
- 31:40Speaker 1: have to be like, give me specifics, but like access
- 31:42Speaker 1: to a restaurant opening, a movie premiere.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Like building their name and it's just like a big
- 31:47Speaker 2: way of being invited out to influencer events or even
- 31:50Speaker 2: let's just say access to travel or, again, your brain
- 31:54Speaker 2: makes up things. Like, I don't know. Maybe he's making
- 31:55Speaker 2: a lot more just by being an influencer. And I
- 31:57Speaker 2: was like, I don't know. It just doesn't seem genuine.
- 32:00Speaker 2: It doesn't seem genuine. It seems kind of douchebaggy. And
- 32:02Speaker 2: so I got mad. I was like, why do these
- 32:04Speaker 2: bad people win?
- 32:05Speaker 1: He's like a, he's a hot 25 year old. I
- 32:07Speaker 1: actually don't know what his age is. He's probably a douchebag.
- 32:10Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 32:11Speaker 2: Yeah. But I think that was the envy.
- 32:12Speaker 1: I was like, damn. So, okay.
- 32:15Speaker 2: I say that all to say back to the apps
- 32:17Speaker 2: of like, if I noticed there's like 70% I'm feeling,
- 32:20Speaker 2: you know, worse about my dating situation than it is.
- 32:23Speaker 2: It's like you say before, it's time to get off
- 32:25Speaker 2: it for a little bit and like decompress where it's like,
- 32:27Speaker 2: for me, I'm like, maybe I need to do some
- 32:30Speaker 2: inner work yeah and just unfollow because they haven't brought
- 32:34Speaker 2: any benefit sometimes you follow these people and you're like
- 32:37Speaker 2: maybe I'll feel inspired or I'll have a good connection
- 32:40Speaker 2: and then I'm like wait a second I've actually never
- 32:43Speaker 2: had those thoughts anytime I've seen them so okay.
- 32:46Speaker 1: So I I understand that because there are certain female
- 32:48Speaker 1: influencers that I had to unfollow because I was just
- 32:51Speaker 1: kind of feeling like every time I saw them I
- 32:52Speaker 1: go yes it's funny that you bring that up. Cause
- 32:55Speaker 1: I feel like some of the content I post, I
- 32:57Speaker 1: almost go out of my way to not look too attractive.
- 33:00Speaker 1: If that makes sense.
- 33:01Speaker 2: Interesting. Yes.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Um, like there are certain times where I'm like, God,
- 33:05Speaker 1: I feel like I do need to be pretty to post.
- 33:06Speaker 1: Cause like I looked really good this weekend and I
- 33:08Speaker 1: saw how my views jumped and I was like, damn,
- 33:10Speaker 1: maybe there's something, maybe there's something to this. But I,
- 33:13Speaker 1: I would hate for anybody to see my content and
- 33:17Speaker 1: feel that way. And sometimes you can't control that. Like,
- 33:20Speaker 1: you can't control how someone's going to respond to you
- 33:22Speaker 1: posting an OOTD or whatever. But there are certain influencers
- 33:26Speaker 1: that I literally, I'm like enraged by seeing them just
- 33:30Speaker 1: because they do a lot of like body checking content
- 33:33Speaker 1: and body checking content is triggering to me for some reason.
- 33:37Speaker 1: Cause it just feels so narcissistic. Like, Ooh, look at
- 33:43Speaker 1: my body. And there's nothing wrong. Listen, I've worked hard
- 33:45Speaker 1: for my abs. I like to show them off in
- 33:46Speaker 1: certain outfits, but I feel like when I'm showing them off,
- 33:49Speaker 1: it's like, here's me in my outfit. When girls body check,
- 33:52Speaker 1: I feel like it's like, here's my body. And they're
- 33:56Speaker 1: constantly contorting themselves in weird ways. I'm like, girl, what
- 33:58Speaker 1: the fuck are you doing?
- 33:59Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 34:00Speaker 1: It just feels like, I don't know. There's something about it.
- 34:02Speaker 1: Like the energy of it is weird.
- 34:03Speaker 2: I know. And that's how I feel. But some people
- 34:05Speaker 2: I follow online, we're like, some people I follow because
- 34:07Speaker 2: it's like, okay, I'm inspired by them. And maybe I'm
- 34:10Speaker 2: inspired by their body or the things that they're doing
- 34:12Speaker 2: out in the community. And then there's a second handful
- 34:15Speaker 2: of people that I'm like, I actually don't feel that
- 34:17Speaker 2: way anytime I see you.
- 34:18Speaker 1: Who are you inspired by?
- 34:20Speaker 2: I can't think of anybody off the top of my
- 34:21Speaker 2: head right now.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Okay.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Like for inspired by, let me think of like.
- 34:25Speaker 1: You love Bobby bones. Okay.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Yeah. I love Bobby bones. Like I love inspired by
- 34:28Speaker 2: people just in general, which.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Is so funny to me. I was telling our radio
- 34:32Speaker 1: consultant cause he brought up cause y'all have the mutual
- 34:34Speaker 1: connection of Bobby bones. I was like, Of all the
- 34:37Speaker 1: people I thought you would be inspired by, he is
- 34:39Speaker 1: the last person on the list. Not because he's not inspiring,
- 34:42Speaker 1: but you guys are so different. Really? You guys have
- 34:45Speaker 1: two completely different approaches to radio.
- 34:49Speaker 2: Yeah, well, okay. I think what I always was inspired
- 34:52Speaker 2: by was the openness to just be completely yourself, share
- 34:56Speaker 2: your story, let people judge if they're going to judge,
- 34:58Speaker 2: and just live your life the way you're going to
- 34:59Speaker 2: live it. But also be daring. I always loved the story.
- 35:02Speaker 2: I love a story, and this is what I try
- 35:03Speaker 2: to show people on my social media, speaking of, where
- 35:06Speaker 2: it's like, I don't ever want somebody to think that
- 35:08Speaker 2: it was just handed over. that's a weird fear of mine.
- 35:12Speaker 2: Like even as I'm training for this 100 miler.
- 35:14Speaker 1: You don't want a nepo career.
- 35:15Speaker 2: Yeah, like I don't want people to think like in
- 35:17Speaker 2: April when I run this 100 miler, oh, he could
- 35:20Speaker 2: just do it because that's just how he's always been.
- 35:22Speaker 2: I could never do that. That's just something left for
- 35:25Speaker 2: other people. No, no, no, no, no. We're going to
- 35:27Speaker 2: go through every step. It's going to be very hard.
- 35:29Speaker 2: I have no idea. I have always liked his career
- 35:31Speaker 2: because I watched it grow where I was like, damn,
- 35:33Speaker 2: he just believed and he kept doing it even when
- 35:35Speaker 2: it didn't work, kept pushing forward and making it happen. Inspiring.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Okay.
- 35:39Speaker 2: Very inspiring for the people that earn every step along
- 35:42Speaker 2: the way to where they are.
- 35:43Speaker 1: See, I want my career handed to me.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:46Speaker 1: I'm not above sleeping to the sound. I'm just kidding.
- 35:48Speaker 1: It's actually completely the opposite of my philosophy.
- 35:50Speaker 2: Literally what you've done. It's like, all right, I've worked
- 35:52Speaker 2: my ass off to get here. And every day still trying.
- 35:55Speaker 1: I've done so much bullshit to get here.
- 35:57Speaker 2: You know what? That's what I think it is. Okay,
- 35:59Speaker 2: wait a second. As we uncover it, there's certain people
- 36:00Speaker 2: that I'm like, you're just being handed stuff. I don't know. Yeah, no, no, no.
- 36:05Speaker 1: And I was I talking to you about this where
- 36:07Speaker 1: at my last job, I was talking to some salesperson
- 36:09Speaker 1: and they kept comparing me to somebody that we both
- 36:11Speaker 1: knew in the industry. And I've always she's somebody that
- 36:15Speaker 1: I really like as a person, like we would be
- 36:17Speaker 1: friends in real life. But I felt like her career
- 36:19Speaker 1: came easier to her than to me. And there's a
- 36:22Speaker 1: part of me that's like. don't compare me to her
- 36:24Speaker 1: because i had to do a lot of i had
- 36:26Speaker 1: to do a lot of bullshit to get here and
- 36:28Speaker 1: um not that i don't think she had that same
- 36:31Speaker 1: path but i sometimes it just feels like life just
- 36:34Speaker 1: is so not easy life is not easy for people
- 36:37Speaker 1: but it just seems like everything just sort of like
- 36:39Speaker 1: unfolds for them yeah like they're just beautiful and then
- 36:41Speaker 1: they get the career then they get the hot husband
- 36:43Speaker 1: and then you know it just seems like life is
- 36:45Speaker 1: just just comes naturally to.
- 36:47Speaker 2: Them yeah like a lot easier to just like Oh,
- 36:50Speaker 2: your next steps are a lot shorter in between maybe.
- 36:52Speaker 2: It's like if it's a staircase, you're taking like a
- 36:54Speaker 2: little step. It's like, boom.
- 36:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:56Speaker 2: Oh, my God. You put up one thing and it
- 36:58Speaker 2: just blew up.
- 36:59Speaker 1: And I think it's important to remember that everybody's journey
- 37:01Speaker 1: is different. Correct. And everybody's journey is long. And you're
- 37:04Speaker 1: going to experience different pain points in different areas. Like
- 37:07Speaker 1: maybe that person's career in marriage is great, but maybe
- 37:09Speaker 1: they have like a really difficult like family situation. Like
- 37:11Speaker 1: you don't know.
- 37:12Speaker 2: We don't know the full story.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Or maybe they're experiencing a lot of blessings elsewhere. which
- 37:16Speaker 1: sounds really cheesy back to back in their twenties and
- 37:18Speaker 1: early thirties. But maybe it's because they're going to have
- 37:21Speaker 1: kids in like their forties are going to be really
- 37:23Speaker 1: tough because their kids are hard.
- 37:24Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 37:24Speaker 1: So like life, God willing is long and everybody's journey
- 37:29Speaker 1: is a bit different. Yeah.
- 37:30Speaker 2: I have a friend that I remind that of all
- 37:31Speaker 2: the time. Cause he's gone through some hard stuff and
- 37:35Speaker 2: he's like, man, I just, I hate this fact that like,
- 37:37Speaker 2: you know, what other people from my past will think of.
- 37:39Speaker 2: And I was like, look, here's the truth. If somebody
- 37:41Speaker 2: is going to judge you, like their time will come. And,
- 37:45Speaker 2: I really hope that in these moments they can understand, like,
- 37:48Speaker 2: when their time comes, you would hope that other people
- 37:50Speaker 2: give you a little more grace instead of judgment. Because
- 37:52Speaker 2: we're all going to go through a chapter. It's just life. Like,
- 37:55Speaker 2: it's not all going to be sunshine and roses. Like,
- 37:57Speaker 2: you will get slapped. And hopefully you have people there
- 38:01Speaker 2: that are able to say, we're not going to judge.
- 38:03Speaker 2: We understand. We're here to see you all the way through.
- 38:05Speaker 2: And hopefully you get better and you grow through that process.
- 38:08Speaker 2: It will happen. Maybe it's in the 20s, 30s, 40s.
- 38:12Speaker 2: But it will happen. But that's a good point. Because...
- 38:14Speaker 2: That's where the online world can get very toxic.
- 38:17Speaker 1: Yes.
- 38:17Speaker 2: You don't see all those things.
- 38:18Speaker 1: I can't believe of all people, you compare yourself the
- 38:21Speaker 1: most to him.
- 38:21Speaker 2: It was just a quick moment yesterday. I don't always.
- 38:24Speaker 1: What was it? Can you show me what you saw
- 38:26Speaker 1: that triggered you?
- 38:27Speaker 2: I'm just curious. I literally just saw them out in Tampa,
- 38:29Speaker 2: and I was already not in a great place mentally.
- 38:33Speaker 2: And so it was like a... And I was like, Scott,
- 38:36Speaker 2: chill out.
- 38:37Speaker 1: Yeah, you were... On one yesterday. I was. You were
- 38:39Speaker 1: very upset.
- 38:40Speaker 2: I'm not upset. Not upset. Scott was upset. I was
- 38:43Speaker 2: not upset. I was a little overwhelmed. And when I
- 38:45Speaker 2: get overwhelmed, I like have to take a second to
- 38:47Speaker 2: like regroup, get my pieces back in order. Because right
- 38:50Speaker 2: now it feels like all my toys and my toy
- 38:51Speaker 2: box are just spread out all over the floor. And
- 38:53Speaker 2: I'm like, I got to take this time.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Don't tell me about your toys.
- 38:56Speaker 2: I got to put them all.
- 38:57Speaker 1: Back in my box.
- 38:58Speaker 2: That's fair lady. In my bedroom drawer. So all that
- 39:01Speaker 2: to say.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I think you should get off the dating apps.
- 39:03Speaker 2: I think that's where I was going with that. Okay.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Can I unmatch with him right now?
- 39:07Speaker 2: Well, yeah, you don't see any part of going out
- 39:09Speaker 2: with him, right? Even if he asked you right now,
- 39:11Speaker 2: would you want to go out with him tomorrow?
- 39:14Speaker 1: No.
- 39:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I wouldn't either because he's like.
- 39:16Speaker 1: I've been looking for a reason to not like him
- 39:17Speaker 1: and he's given me one.
- 39:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that's an unfollow. You told me today
- 39:20Speaker 2: was going to be the day. You didn't give me
- 39:22Speaker 2: a plan. You didn't give me a time.
- 39:23Speaker 1: I just find it really disrespectful. I do too. And
- 39:26Speaker 1: it reminds me of the last guy that I was
- 39:27Speaker 1: telling you about that... um canceling me for two other
- 39:31Speaker 1: girls correct and it was just because he felt like
- 39:34Speaker 1: he didn't know me as much because they were talking
- 39:35Speaker 1: to him and I'm like respectfully dude I'm 29 I
- 39:39Speaker 1: don't want to be your pen pal I don't know
- 39:40Speaker 1: you correct like we're gonna meet each other we're either
- 39:43Speaker 1: gonna vibe or we're not like I don't understand why
- 39:45Speaker 1: you want me to like be your fucking like back
- 39:48Speaker 1: and forth AI robot.
- 39:49Speaker 2: To be like he I really do think there needs
- 39:51Speaker 2: to be like a dating class for men.
- 39:55Speaker 1: I don't think men were taught. And I'm not, this isn't,
- 39:58Speaker 1: I'm not blaming men. And I also don't want it
- 40:00Speaker 1: to seem like, I don't want to seem like I'm
- 40:02Speaker 1: blaming their moms either. Cause I don't want it to
- 40:03Speaker 1: be like a women hating thing. But I really feel
- 40:06Speaker 1: like our generation wasn't taught courtship as a skill.
- 40:10Speaker 2: If that makes sense. Properly. Yes. I would agree.
- 40:11Speaker 1: And that's my whole, that's my theory. That's my thesis.
- 40:13Speaker 1: I'm not going to get into it too much cause
- 40:14Speaker 1: I'd be here for days, but we're, being raised by
- 40:18Speaker 1: the first generation of people who didn't have to get married.
- 40:22Speaker 1: And I think because there was no have to or
- 40:24Speaker 1: need like necessity, it wasn't a skill that was taught.
- 40:28Speaker 1: Like for example, my mom is the first generation. Well,
- 40:32Speaker 1: not necessarily the first, but one of the first generation
- 40:35Speaker 1: of women that, knew that they could get a credit
- 40:38Speaker 1: card in their own name or start a business or whatever.
- 40:41Speaker 1: Like my grandmothers never had that thought. So they always
- 40:45Speaker 1: knew that they had to date because it was a necessity.
- 40:47Speaker 1: It was a skill. And also our society was set
- 40:49Speaker 1: up because they knew it was necessity. That courtship was
- 40:53Speaker 1: just a thing. And I feel like we've lost the
- 40:56Speaker 1: art of courtship because nobody has to get married anymore,
- 40:58Speaker 1: which is great. I love that people are getting married
- 41:00Speaker 1: because they want to now. But we've lost that pipeline
- 41:03Speaker 1: for the people that still want that.
- 41:04Speaker 2: No, I agree. And also a big part of it
- 41:06Speaker 2: is just it's truly that because guys have some, a
- 41:09Speaker 2: lot of guys, not all guys, but a lot of
- 41:11Speaker 2: guys have peanuts for brains. And there's so many options.
- 41:15Speaker 2: And the options just like it drives guys crazy. You know,
- 41:18Speaker 2: you could have a conversation with somebody online and But
- 41:20Speaker 2: as soon as there's any little bit of like, you
- 41:23Speaker 2: can go on Instagram and find 3,000 other people that
- 41:27Speaker 2: look similar, have other qualities that you like, and maybe
- 41:30Speaker 2: are an option, even though that's not realistic. Or you
- 41:32Speaker 2: just want to, you know, all these different things that
- 41:34Speaker 2: we see on social media, you just want to be
- 41:37Speaker 2: the playboy for a little bit and just, you know,
- 41:39Speaker 2: see your options. Which, again, if that's what you want,
- 41:46Speaker 2: go ahead. But also, I think a lot of guys
- 41:48Speaker 2: get worried that, how it's going to look to their
- 41:52Speaker 2: guy friends settling or getting in a relationship. And when
- 41:57Speaker 2: I say settling, I mean settling down with somebody, not
- 41:59Speaker 2: just settling because it's like, Oh, I think I have
- 42:01Speaker 2: to do this. But when you see a culture of like,
- 42:03Speaker 2: Oh my God, but they, they're telling me these stories
- 42:05Speaker 2: of the hookup culture and there's so many options and
- 42:08Speaker 2: everywhere you go and there's new conversations. But what I
- 42:11Speaker 2: have learned in dating is there's a lot of work
- 42:14Speaker 2: to be done on yourself to To understand when those
- 42:17Speaker 2: problems arise in a relationship, it's not always time to
- 42:20Speaker 2: just run. But I think for so many people, because
- 42:22Speaker 2: there's so many options, it's just the easiest thing. Well,
- 42:24Speaker 2: we got in a fight and I don't think we
- 42:26Speaker 2: see the same on this and I don't think this
- 42:27Speaker 2: is the way. So I'm going to be done with it.
- 42:30Speaker 2: You're like, wait a second. No, that's actually something you
- 42:32Speaker 2: could have grown through and seen both sides because that's
- 42:35Speaker 2: no matter what you do, eventually you will have to
- 42:37Speaker 2: come to an agreement on things that you see differently.
- 42:40Speaker 2: It's not always going to be, it's never going to
- 42:43Speaker 2: be 100% that you see the same things. But I
- 42:45Speaker 2: think about the guys right here in Tampa Bay where
- 42:46Speaker 2: I'm like, gosh, yeah, imagine. We live in a very
- 42:49Speaker 2: hot area. Everyone's hot.
- 42:51Speaker 1: Everybody's hot.
- 42:53Speaker 2: To walk around and say, wait a second, I'm going
- 42:56Speaker 2: to find somebody that I truly like. It takes time
- 42:58Speaker 2: and investment. And it's hard to get somebody to want
- 43:00Speaker 2: to sit down and put in that time and effort
- 43:03Speaker 2: to see if it's actually going to be worth something. Yeah.
- 43:06Speaker 1: So I think I'm just going to focus on being
- 43:07Speaker 1: hot on the internet. So if you see me and go, Oh,
- 43:09Speaker 1: Abby looks so good in that video. I don't want
- 43:12Speaker 1: to see that. Just know I'm putting in the work
- 43:14Speaker 1: because I'm sick of being single. Okay. Just let me
- 43:16Speaker 1: have this. Let me, I won't, I don't like a
- 43:19Speaker 1: body check, but you know, if I, if you see
- 43:20Speaker 1: my body on the Instagram, just let me be. Yeah.
- 43:23Speaker 2: Let's just go do you go do you making new connections,
- 43:27Speaker 2: new friends, lightning games, build your career, be hot on
- 43:31Speaker 2: the internet.
- 43:32Speaker 1: I'm just going to be hot on the internet and
- 43:34Speaker 1: drink a lot of white wine, a lot of white wine,
- 43:36Speaker 1: a lot of good times. That's my new bio. Being
- 43:40Speaker 1: hot on the internet and probably drinking a white wine
- 43:42Speaker 1: at some point.
- 43:43Speaker 2: There's a lot of other things you could do beside
- 43:45Speaker 2: the hinge dates because so far it doesn't seem like
- 43:48Speaker 2: anybody's got it. And again, we've said this before, but
- 43:49Speaker 2: you're not the only one. We have other friends that
- 43:51Speaker 2: literally have had the same exact stories where it's like,
- 43:56Speaker 2: I don't get it. I try to give guys a
- 43:57Speaker 2: lot of the benefit. I really do. I've tried. But
- 43:59Speaker 2: so far, all the stories I've heard, I'm like, damn, guys,
- 44:02Speaker 2: what are you doing?
- 44:03Speaker 1: I mean, literally, what did I do other than talk
- 44:05Speaker 1: about this man on the internet?
- 44:06Speaker 2: That's true.
- 44:07Speaker 1: And technically, I didn't talk about him on the internet.
- 44:09Speaker 1: I talked about him on my podcast.
- 44:10Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 44:11Speaker 1: And all I said was I didn't like his emojis.
- 44:12Speaker 2: And you didn't reveal anything about him.
- 44:14Speaker 1: Respectfully, if that's going to bother him, he's not going
- 44:17Speaker 1: to like my sense of humor. And I've always said this.
- 44:19Speaker 1: I need a guy who can take a couple emotional
- 44:21Speaker 1: punches and think it's fun.
- 44:24Speaker 2: Like the challenge.
- 44:25Speaker 1: Like, be like, oh, she's giving me a hard time. But, like,
- 44:28Speaker 1: there's something about you that you like it.
- 44:30Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 44:31Speaker 1: You, like, like it a little bit. Like, you need to, like,
- 44:32Speaker 1: you need to like the challenge a bit.
- 44:35Speaker 2: Absolutely, because that's you. Yeah, you're going to want somebody that,
- 44:38Speaker 2: you know, you don't have to change towards. You don't
- 44:40Speaker 2: have to put on a different filter for. That's truthfully... Actually,
- 44:44Speaker 2: way worse than being single.
- 44:46Speaker 1: If any of you guys know a man who wants
- 44:47Speaker 1: to be bullied by a 5'3 blonde chick.
- 44:50Speaker 2: I'm going to say be ready to have it given
- 44:52Speaker 2: right back. Because if somebody could handle it, they're going
- 44:53Speaker 2: to be able to dish it out too.
- 44:54Speaker 1: But I want that. You know what I mean? Like,
- 44:56Speaker 1: bring it back. Like, let's swing at each other. I
- 44:58Speaker 1: think that's hot.
- 44:59Speaker 2: Well, somebody will pop around, but it doesn't seem like
- 45:02Speaker 2: right now. At least not in that environment.
- 45:04Speaker 1: That's what I've been saying my whole 20s, Scotty. I'm
- 45:06Speaker 1: going to unmatch this guy.
- 45:07Speaker 2: Unmatch. 3, 2, 1.
- 45:07Speaker 1: Bye, bitch.
- 45:07Speaker 2: Unmatched. Yeah, because at this point, it's like you said,
- 45:13Speaker 2: it's disrespectful.
- 45:14Speaker 1: It's actually so disrespectful.
- 45:15Speaker 2: I agree.
- 45:16Speaker 1: And I don't want him to know that I'm upset.
- 45:18Speaker 1: Or not upset. I want him to know that.
- 45:21Speaker 2: That's not okay.
- 45:22Speaker 1: That's not okay. And you don't just get to keep
- 45:25Speaker 1: me in your hinge folder while you're dating some other chick.
- 45:28Speaker 2: Agreed. Goodbye, sir. Goodbye. On to the next one. One
- 45:32Speaker 2: of the things I talked about before, because I've been
- 45:34Speaker 2: thinking about it all day. My dad sent me this
- 45:36Speaker 2: photo because I'm about to... Y'all, this is about to
- 45:38Speaker 2: be my 30th birthday. I'm excited. I'm excited. I'm now
- 45:41Speaker 2: accepting that I'm about to be 30. It is a
- 45:43Speaker 2: weird time to be like, damn, I'm at the age
- 45:47Speaker 2: that my parents like had me. That's kind of a
- 45:49Speaker 2: weird thought. I've seen pictures of my dad and my
- 45:52Speaker 2: mom at this age and they're getting married. I'm like, wow,
- 45:55Speaker 2: I've now hit that point. That's crazy. So I'm getting
- 45:58Speaker 2: ready to do all these celebrations. I'm excited. I'm looking
- 46:00Speaker 2: forward to it. And then my dad calls me yesterday
- 46:02Speaker 2: and he's like, did you get the package? Like what package?
- 46:05Speaker 2: What are you talking about? He's like, I sent a
- 46:07Speaker 2: package to your house. Like, no. And I live at
- 46:10Speaker 2: a friend's apartment, so I was like, maybe he has it,
- 46:13Speaker 2: but he hasn't told me. And he's like, well, I
- 46:15Speaker 2: sent it to this address, and it was the address
- 46:17Speaker 2: of my old house. And I was like, oh, shoot.
- 46:20Speaker 2: This isn't good. So I went over there, and I
- 46:22Speaker 2: started looking around the house, and I didn't see the package.
- 46:24Speaker 1: No, no.
- 46:25Speaker 2: And my dad sent me a photo this morning. The
- 46:27Speaker 2: package was right on the front door just a couple
- 46:29Speaker 2: days ago. Well, yesterday when I looked, it wasn't there.
- 46:31Speaker 1: And he hasn't told you what it is?
- 46:33Speaker 2: Hasn't told me what it is, which I don't want
- 46:35Speaker 2: him to tell me what it is. But now it's stolen.
- 46:38Speaker 2: So now I might never know what it is because
- 46:42Speaker 2: I've never dealt with a, what do they call them?
- 46:43Speaker 2: A porch pirate in the neighborhood that I used to
- 46:46Speaker 2: live in was very safe. I was really, I was
- 46:48Speaker 2: honestly shocked that somebody would come along and steal a
- 46:51Speaker 2: package in the three days that it sat there.
- 46:53Speaker 1: Do you think it was the person living there?
- 46:55Speaker 2: Nobody's living there right now. That's also the problem because
- 46:58Speaker 2: the person who owns the house is a friend's mom.
- 47:01Speaker 2: So I texted her first. I was like, did you see?
- 47:03Speaker 2: Any package over the weekend? Did you drive by? She's like, no,
- 47:06Speaker 2: I was there Thursday. Didn't see anything.
- 47:07Speaker 1: Oh, no.
- 47:08Speaker 2: Package got delivered Friday. I went there yesterday. No package.
- 47:11Speaker 2: So it looks like it got stolen. So now I
- 47:13Speaker 2: feel so bad because my dad calls me yesterday. He's
- 47:15Speaker 2: furious on the phone. He's like, son of a.
- 47:17Speaker 1: Son of a nutcracker.
- 47:19Speaker 2: I'm out of a lot of money because of it.
- 47:20Speaker 2: I'm like, I wonder what it could be because I'm like,
- 47:22Speaker 2: it is weird getting gifts at this age. I love it.
- 47:24Speaker 2: My dad always gives me good gifts.
- 47:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:26Speaker 2: Something electronic. I don't know what it could be, though,
- 47:28Speaker 2: because I'm going to show you the package to see
- 47:30Speaker 2: if you want to take a guess of what do
- 47:31Speaker 2: you think it could be. Maybe like an iPad. That'd
- 47:33Speaker 2: be crazy. I don't think so, though.
- 47:35Speaker 1: You kind of have iPad-kin energy.
- 47:37Speaker 2: Look at it. It looks like it's like two feet.
- 47:44Speaker 2: And if it says it in the picture, I didn't look. Like,
- 47:46Speaker 2: don't tell me what it is.
- 47:47Speaker 1: Yeah, that could be like a... Maybe a new laptop?
- 47:51Speaker 2: That'd be crazy. I don't think so.
- 47:54Speaker 1: I mean, he said a lot of money. Laptops are
- 47:55Speaker 1: a lot of money.
- 47:56Speaker 2: He didn't say exactly how much, but he did say,
- 47:58Speaker 2: dang it, like... I'm out of that money. I was like, yeah,
- 48:01Speaker 2: it looks like somebody stole it.
- 48:02Speaker 1: He didn't get insurance on it?
- 48:04Speaker 2: I don't think so. He got it off a TikTok shop.
- 48:06Speaker 2: That's what he did. He did get it off a
- 48:07Speaker 2: TikTok shop. My dad's a big TikTok shop guy.
- 48:10Speaker 1: That's so funny.
- 48:11Speaker 2: It's so funny.
- 48:12Speaker 1: You should do TikTok shop.
- 48:13Speaker 2: I want to. I did try. So one of the
- 48:15Speaker 2: things I've tried recently to make money in my side
- 48:18Speaker 2: muscles is I did order a product off of TikTok.
- 48:21Speaker 2: It was going to be like these little energy drinks.
- 48:23Speaker 2: And then I got a message from him that was like,
- 48:24Speaker 2: we're no longer going to send it to you. I
- 48:25Speaker 2: was like, what?
- 48:26Speaker 1: Why? You have too much energy. Yeah. Back it up.
- 48:29Speaker 1: Back it up, Sally.
- 48:30Speaker 2: We don't want you to die on camera with us
- 48:32Speaker 2: because we gave you too much caffeine. But I did
- 48:34Speaker 2: want to do it. I wanted to be one of
- 48:35Speaker 2: those people on TikTok where it's like you're swiping and
- 48:37Speaker 2: then all of a sudden they're live and you're just
- 48:39Speaker 2: like they're selling and they have a beautiful setup.
- 48:41Speaker 1: Just QBC.
- 48:42Speaker 2: Some people.
- 48:42Speaker 1: Yeah. On TikTok.
- 48:43Speaker 2: Some people have made a lot of money.
- 48:44Speaker 1: We should do a challenge around Christmas. We should see
- 48:47Speaker 1: who can make more money on TikTok shop. Me or you.
- 48:49Speaker 2: Here's actually, okay, I love that idea.
- 48:51Speaker 1: We just do like a one week challenge.
- 48:53Speaker 2: But that'd be great because what if it takes off?
- 48:54Speaker 2: And then we have like Christmas money.
- 48:56Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying.
- 48:57Speaker 2: Here's what I thought. And I'm going to say it
- 48:58Speaker 2: on the podcast because I don't think we're legally allowed
- 49:00Speaker 2: to do it. So we're not going to be able
- 49:01Speaker 2: to do it. But we could stream this podcast as
- 49:04Speaker 2: we just have products. And as we're doing it, we're
- 49:07Speaker 2: doing the podcast. We're working and we're selling.
- 49:09Speaker 1: Wait, why can't we legally do that?
- 49:10Speaker 2: I don't know because we're using the studio of the company.
- 49:12Speaker 2: They're going to want to cut. They're definitely going to
- 49:13Speaker 2: want to cut.
- 49:14Speaker 1: They're not going to come out. We're going to make
- 49:16Speaker 1: like $ 5. I don't know.
- 49:17Speaker 2: What if we have like, I don't know, like we have,
- 49:19Speaker 2: for example. like have a cute Halloween shirt and we're
- 49:22Speaker 2: wearing it in the videos. And we're like, oh, by
- 49:25Speaker 2: the way, or we just put the link as we
- 49:27Speaker 2: post the clips of this podcast. People could buy the shirt.
- 49:29Speaker 1: I don't think CMG is going to come after us
- 49:31Speaker 1: for that.
- 49:31Speaker 2: I don't know. Sometimes these big companies.
- 49:34Speaker 1: Listen, pay me more and you can have a cut
- 49:36Speaker 1: of my TikTok shop. workout clothes that I'm going to sell.
- 49:40Speaker 2: Ah, I was thinking of a way for us to
- 49:42Speaker 2: make more money, but I was like, I don't think
- 49:44Speaker 2: that's the way, but we do already do all this content.
- 49:46Speaker 2: I'm like, we could be selling on Tik TOK shop.
- 49:49Speaker 2: That's the way I want to do it.
- 49:50Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, our YouTube videos are getting a decent amount.
- 49:53Speaker 1: The Warren Sapp one got 640 views. Damn. I mean,
- 49:57Speaker 1: that's like a, I mean, I'm sure you guys wonder
- 49:59Speaker 1: how many people listen to this podcast. It's like a
- 50:00Speaker 1: couple thousand. So I mean like that's, we, we went
- 50:03Speaker 1: up by 25%. Yeah.
- 50:05Speaker 2: I mean, that's like, You posted it once. We've talked
- 50:08Speaker 2: about it once here. So to see that growth is awesome. Now,
- 50:12Speaker 2: if they can make money for it, that'd be awesomer.
- 50:14Speaker 1: Well, maybe if you tried a little harder on your hair,
- 50:17Speaker 1: we would be getting more views.
- 50:18Speaker 2: Y'all should see me in the morning. I got the
- 50:19Speaker 2: whole diffuse. It takes me like 10 minutes to dry
- 50:22Speaker 2: this sucker.
- 50:23Speaker 1: I'm literally joking.
- 50:26Speaker 2: So not sure what I'm going to get that package.
- 50:29Speaker 2: What are you going to get me for my birthday?
- 50:31Speaker 1: You already know what I'm getting you for your birthday.
- 50:32Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 50:33Speaker 1: I'm getting you a Zep-Bound prescription.
- 50:36Speaker 2: As you saw me munching yesterday.
- 50:38Speaker 1: Yeah, dude, you can put away a lot of food.
- 50:41Speaker 2: Y'all, people don't understand. I don't know. I guess I
- 50:45Speaker 2: don't look it, but I could eat.
- 50:46Speaker 1: Yeah, because you do have a lot of muscles, so
- 50:48Speaker 1: you probably do have a really high resting BMR. Oh,
- 50:50Speaker 1: my God, yeah. Because you were going to town, and
- 50:52Speaker 1: I'm like, dude.
- 50:53Speaker 2: Okay, it wasn't that bad.
- 50:54Speaker 1: It was pretty bad.
- 50:55Speaker 2: Let's see. I had one burger, like 12 wings, a
- 50:59Speaker 2: cookie- Okay, it's starting to add up. That's crazy. Yeah,
- 51:03Speaker 2: that was good. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That was good.
- 51:04Speaker 1: Well, I just worry about you, because you mentioned you
- 51:06Speaker 1: have a little bit of a hard time with stopping,
- 51:08Speaker 1: and I didn't know if it's, like, a problem for you.
- 51:11Speaker 2: Oh, that's a good point. Yeah, no, no, I don't
- 51:12Speaker 2: have a... I do love, like, diving into that thought
- 51:15Speaker 2: of mine, because I'm like, when there's free food available,
- 51:18Speaker 2: your boy's going to eat.
- 51:19Speaker 1: That's what I mean. It's like, do you have a
- 51:20Speaker 1: binging problem?
- 51:21Speaker 2: No. I can stop at any point, but it's like when.
- 51:24Speaker 1: You sound like every alcoholic. I can stop whenever I want!
- 51:27Speaker 2: I'll be fine. I swear.
- 51:27Speaker 1: I'm good.
- 51:28Speaker 2: I'm good.
- 51:28Speaker 1: And I only say that because I used to have
- 51:30Speaker 1: a hard time with binging. And so I'm just, you know,
- 51:33Speaker 1: checking in if you need support.
- 51:34Speaker 2: I like that, though. I have no problem if you
- 51:36Speaker 2: put me in check.
- 51:37Speaker 1: I mean, I called you fat yesterday. I don't know
- 51:40Speaker 1: what else you need me to do.
- 51:41Speaker 2: No, I thought it was fun.
- 51:42Speaker 1: Like, okay, tubby.
- 51:43Speaker 2: I was like, heck yeah, I'm going to eat these wings.
- 51:44Speaker 1: I'm going to eat.
- 51:45Speaker 2: When it's time for me to eat, I'm going to eat. No,
- 51:46Speaker 2: I'm very cognizant of it. Because I'm like, I just
- 51:48Speaker 2: came back from work. I'm like, I'm going to eat.
- 51:49Speaker 2: I'm going to eat all these wings.
- 51:50Speaker 1: Yeah, get after it.
- 51:51Speaker 2: Because I was planning on buying food there. And then
- 51:53Speaker 2: we walked into a suite. I was like, oh, I
- 51:54Speaker 2: didn't know we had this today. This is going to
- 51:56Speaker 2: be really nice.
- 51:56Speaker 1: I told you we were in the suite.
- 51:59Speaker 2: I was stressed, Abby.
- 52:01Speaker 1: I was stressed.
- 52:02Speaker 2: But then once I found out, I was good.
- 52:04Speaker 1: I was like, we got on the Jumbotron.
- 52:07Speaker 2: Did we get on the Jumbotron?
- 52:08Speaker 1: I mean, yeah. I saw myself on the Jumbotron.
- 52:10Speaker 2: Oh, I didn't see myself on the Jumbotron. But I'm
- 52:12Speaker 2: happy to be a part of it. Happy to be there.
- 52:14Speaker 2: Now if we could only get Raze tickets to get
- 52:16Speaker 2: into the actual games for the Raze.
- 52:19Speaker 1: For the playoffs. But they're not our partner. Why are
- 52:21Speaker 1: we not the Raze partner? I don't know.
- 52:23Speaker 2: I don't know. Here's what's funny about the Rays is
- 52:25Speaker 2: you see the trop is like packed and everyone in there,
- 52:29Speaker 2: like everyone's there. Where are you at the whole season?
- 52:34Speaker 2: Like literally all season, that stadium was so empty. I know.
- 52:39Speaker 2: And then all of a sudden, every seat's full.
- 52:40Speaker 1: Because everyone's excited because it's playoffs.
- 52:43Speaker 2: I hope it lives through. I just, I hope that
- 52:44Speaker 2: it would go beyond like, let's say like the next season,
- 52:47Speaker 2: no matter how far we go in the series, like
- 52:49Speaker 2: somebody next year, then go to the games. I say
- 52:52Speaker 2: that for myself, too.
- 52:53Speaker 1: They're just so boring. I know.
- 52:55Speaker 2: And I'm a bandwagoner, too. Like, I'm not a big
- 52:57Speaker 2: baseball fan, but I want to go now. I want
- 52:58Speaker 2: to be part of it.
- 52:59Speaker 1: I have too many baseball fans or teams that I'm
- 53:01Speaker 1: a fan of that I'm like, I can't keep track.
- 53:03Speaker 1: I'm like, do I start looking like a fraud now?
- 53:04Speaker 1: Because my dad's a Rangers fan because I was literally
- 53:07Speaker 1: born when I was born because of the Rangers. My
- 53:09Speaker 1: dad used to work for them.
- 53:10Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 53:11Speaker 1: And then I loved the Braves because that's where I
- 53:12Speaker 1: would go make friends in Atlanta. And now I'm like...
- 53:15Speaker 1: Can I take on the Rays now?
- 53:16Speaker 2: Well, here's a little conflict for you because the Braves
- 53:18Speaker 2: are in the playoffs. Let's talk back to our sports podcast.
- 53:21Speaker 1: I know. How did we become the Tampa Bay sports podcast?
- 53:23Speaker 1: It's fun.
- 53:24Speaker 2: So the Braves are in. The Rays are in.
- 53:27Speaker 1: The Braves.
- 53:28Speaker 2: The Braves.
- 53:29Speaker 1: Go Braves.
- 53:31Speaker 2: They have a possibility of both being in the World
- 53:34Speaker 2: Series at the same time. If they play each other,
- 53:35Speaker 2: I don't know what I'm going to do. That's literally
- 53:37Speaker 2: what I was thinking this morning. I was like, who
- 53:38Speaker 2: would you root for? Let's just say they got to
- 53:40Speaker 2: both make it to their next round anyway.
- 53:41Speaker 1: I guess the Rays because I'm in Tampa and I
- 53:43Speaker 1: value my life. Yeah. And I feel bad because I'm
- 53:47Speaker 1: technically a bandwagoner fan. But, you know.
- 53:48Speaker 2: Hell yeah.
- 53:49Speaker 1: I feel like, here's the thing. I feel like when
- 53:51Speaker 1: it comes to sports teams, I'm not necessarily supporting the team.
- 53:53Speaker 1: I'm supporting the city.
- 53:54Speaker 2: Correct.
- 53:55Speaker 1: Does that make sense? Yes. 100%.
- 53:56Speaker 2: Because if the city wins, like, we all win.
- 53:58Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah. So when I was in Atlanta, I
- 54:00Speaker 1: was obviously like, go Braves. Correct. And now that I'm
- 54:04Speaker 1: in Tampa, I'm obviously going to be like, go Braves.
- 54:05Speaker 1: Because I'm in fucking Tampa.
- 54:08Speaker 2: Well, it is kind of cool because we have so
- 54:10Speaker 2: many Atlanta listeners that I'm like, y'all, that'd be fun.
- 54:12Speaker 2: I'd love to see y'all and us. together in the end.
- 54:16Speaker 2: It would be very tough though. But I think at
- 54:18Speaker 2: least either you want to have a little conflict with
- 54:20Speaker 2: people here because you could be your OG fan if
- 54:23Speaker 2: you wanted to be a Brave fan. But it is
- 54:25Speaker 2: a lot more fun when you're like all together rooting
- 54:27Speaker 2: for the one team.
- 54:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I like the social aspect of it. Like I
- 54:30Speaker 1: like that we're like I like getting passionate about something.
- 54:33Speaker 1: I don't feel, unless it's the Florida Gators because I'm
- 54:35Speaker 1: like I went to that school so of course like
- 54:37Speaker 1: it's my team.
- 54:38Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that one makes sense.
- 54:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I like the camaraderie of it.
- 54:41Speaker 2: Well you do a good job about being all about
- 54:43Speaker 2: it because like so far if you've seen Abby's Instagram
- 54:45Speaker 2: it's Like, so much lightning content.
- 54:47Speaker 1: I love a theme.
- 54:49Speaker 2: You nail it.
- 54:50Speaker 1: And listen, I'd get on the Bucs too, but the Bucs....
- 54:54Speaker 2: It ain't... Not this year.
- 54:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 54:56Speaker 2: Not this year. Yeah. I'm sorry. Sorry about that. That's
- 54:59Speaker 2: not going to be a while.
- 54:59Speaker 1: Are we doing a tailgate with them this weekend?
- 55:01Speaker 2: We are doing a crasher tailgate.
- 55:03Speaker 1: Yeah, so I need a fit for that.
- 55:04Speaker 2: I'm going to be flying in after Key West and
- 55:06Speaker 2: then hopping in a truck with y'all and going to
- 55:09Speaker 2: crash a tailgate.
- 55:10Speaker 1: So expect some Buc content on Sunday. A lot of.
- 55:12Speaker 2: Did you say butt?
- 55:13Speaker 1: Buc.
- 55:14Speaker 2: Okay.
- 55:15Speaker 1: Yeah. That content is when I get fired from this job.
- 55:17Speaker 2: Yeah. Thank you for all the comments, too, that are
- 55:19Speaker 2: popping in. Our last conversation, we did get pretty deep
- 55:22Speaker 2: into the whole Cornell 7 situation, which, oh, my God,
- 55:26Speaker 2: the things that have come out since.
- 55:28Speaker 1: I know.
- 55:29Speaker 2: Don't trigger me.
- 55:29Speaker 1: Don't trigger me.
- 55:30Speaker 2: We don't have to dive in.
- 55:31Speaker 1: Are there any good comments that you want to read
- 55:33Speaker 1: them first?
- 55:34Speaker 2: Well, we asked last episode if you all would be
- 55:36Speaker 2: down for a live episode in Atlanta. Okay. And everybody
- 55:40Speaker 2: is saying yes.
- 55:41Speaker 1: I will wear my Braves gear if we go to Atlanta.
- 55:43Speaker 2: That would make sense. Amy said, love y'all. Please come
- 55:46Speaker 2: back to Atlanta for a live show. Abby, I met
- 55:49Speaker 2: you at your live podcast at Painted Horse.
- 55:51Speaker 1: Oh, hell yeah, brother. That was a long time ago.
- 55:53Speaker 2: Well, Amy's down for it.
- 55:55Speaker 1: Come on, Amy.
- 55:56Speaker 2: I also saw, let's see. Oh, there you go. Jshuck12,
- 56:01Speaker 2: I would love y'all to do a live show in Atlanta.
- 56:04Speaker 2: Love that. And then Trey, Atlanta Bar Night, please.
- 56:08Speaker 1: Let's do it. I think that would be fun.
- 56:10Speaker 2: Make it happen.
- 56:10Speaker 1: And there'd probably be a lot of bird show people
- 56:12Speaker 1: that came too, like you know, Kristen.
- 56:15Speaker 2: Yeah, that'd be cool to see, to see your peeps.
- 56:19Speaker 1: I know I probably will go back to Atlanta sometime
- 56:21Speaker 1: before Christmas.
- 56:22Speaker 2: I just got to figure out a date, put it
- 56:24Speaker 2: on the calendar. We could put it on as a,
- 56:26Speaker 2: a show expense, do a live show for it. Y'all
- 56:30Speaker 2: keep the comments coming. Thank you so much. And if
- 56:32Speaker 2: you haven't yet check out the YouTube, you can put
- 56:34Speaker 2: your comments in there because you're part of the conversation
- 56:36Speaker 2: as well. We'll be back tomorrow.
