- 0:02Speaker 1: And there's Dan Lanning out there because no one could
- 0:05Speaker 1: yell at him.
- 0:05Speaker 2: There is Lanning out on the field, not focused on
- 0:08Speaker 2: the opponent, not focused on his team, not focused on
- 0:11Speaker 2: the game.
- 0:11Speaker 1: He is focused on making Pat McAfee laugh.
- 0:15Speaker 3: Enough.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Terrible. Terrible job by Lanning.
- 0:19Speaker 4: Dan Lanning is the Nick Saban of Mike Norvell's.
- 0:21Speaker 5: Who the hell is Dan Lanning?
- 0:24Speaker 4: Could at least give us Ben Johnson might be the
- 0:25Speaker 4: greatest coach ever.
- 0:28Speaker 6: Uh, no.
- 0:29Speaker 4: Knock if you agree with me.
- 0:31Speaker 6: Give me the frozen dungeon.
- 0:32Speaker 4: I know we're doing overreaction Mondays. Right. I would still
- 0:35Speaker 4: be surprised. And it's Tuesday.
- 0:37Speaker 1: You got nothing right there.
- 0:39Speaker 4: It's time to get your pint.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Tomato, tomato.
- 0:42Speaker 4: There is no worse surprise than surprise Gouda.
- 0:45Speaker 2: I felt so bad for Arch Manning playing so poorly.
- 0:48Speaker 2: I was saying to myself, he doesn't have it. He's
- 0:50Speaker 2: not a man.
- 0:50Speaker 5: Everyone is a fraud.
- 0:52Speaker 1: This is Steve Spurrier, former Gator head ball coach.
- 0:56Speaker 5: And you've been listening to Stugatz and Company. Everyone is
- 1:00Speaker 5: a fraud.
- 1:00Speaker 4: Surprise Gouda.
- 1:03Speaker 2: So we'll start a very interesting place today before we
- 1:06Speaker 2: get to John Jastrzemski. Taylor now calls him JJ. I
- 1:09Speaker 2: don't know if you've noticed that, Mikey. JJ, I guess
- 1:11Speaker 2: they're really good friends now, right? Because if you're calling
- 1:13Speaker 2: him JJ, you have to be a good friend.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Is that fair?
- 1:16Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, you call somebody JJ, we're buddies.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Do you think JJ thinks Taylor should be calling him JJ?
- 1:26Speaker 1: I didn't realize you guys were such good friends.
- 1:28Speaker 4: I think JJ calls himself JJ.
- 1:29Speaker 6: Oh, okay.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Well, we'll ask him when he comes on. But we
- 1:32Speaker 2: start at an interesting place. We have Falcons and Packers tonight.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Taylor not only has a qualm with Survivor, he has
- 1:39Speaker 2: a problem with Survivor.
- 1:41Speaker 1: We'll get to that in a second as well. But
- 1:43Speaker 1: let's start.
- 1:45Speaker 2: With Falcons-Packers, you're going to watch Cooper Rush is no
- 1:47Speaker 2: longer playing quarterback for Atlanta. Michael Penix Jr.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Is back.
- 1:51Speaker 4: So you're looking at the Falcons right now. Their next
- 1:54Speaker 4: three games are all in primetime. At the Packers tonight
- 1:57Speaker 4: for Thursday night football, at the Saints for Monday night football,
- 2:00Speaker 4: and then versus the Ravens for Sunday night football the
- 2:03Speaker 4: third week.
- 2:03Speaker 1: The rare 0-2, three primetime games.
- 2:06Speaker 4: You can make the argument there's no team you'd rather
- 2:09Speaker 4: watch less right now in the primetime window than the Falcons.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Oh, I can make an argument for another team, I think.
- 2:16Speaker 3: Not only can I make the argument, I'm going to
- 2:19Speaker 3: raise the stakes and tell you next week, Thursday night,
- 2:24Speaker 3: Steelers at Browns, Thursday night football.
- 2:27Speaker 6: Case closed.
- 2:29Speaker 2: The Browns, to me, are more interesting than the Falcons,
- 2:33Speaker 2: I feel like, just because of what's going on with
- 2:36Speaker 2: Deshaun Watson. Will he continue to play well? How are
- 2:38Speaker 2: the fans going to receive him? There are at least
- 2:40Speaker 2: some storylines with the Browns. I don't know if that's
- 2:44Speaker 2: the team. I'm trying to think.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Of the 0-2s.
- 2:51Speaker 6: Thursday Night Football, what are you doing?
- 2:53Speaker 3: What are you doing?
- 2:55Speaker 2: They should flex it early. I am interested, by the way,
- 2:58Speaker 2: if Atlanta can save their season tonight. Their season's on
- 3:01Speaker 2: the line and Michael Penix Jr.
- 3:02Speaker 6: Is back.
- 3:03Speaker 1: There's some storylines there. Michael Penix is.
- 3:06Speaker 4: Doing a lot of work trying to make this an
- 3:08Speaker 4: interesting matchup because you do have Drake London after Drake
- 3:11Speaker 4: London fights with a fan on Sunday. You have the
- 3:14Speaker 4: Bijan Robinson factor. Michael Penix is bringing this matchup up
- 3:18Speaker 4: a little because it seems like we have finally gotten
- 3:21Speaker 4: past the Cooper Rush, Jack Strand days for Atlanta.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Yes, I think I found the team where I'd be
- 3:26Speaker 2: less interested if they were playing in primetime, and.
- 3:28Speaker 1: That would be the Dolphins. That's it. I mean, that
- 3:32Speaker 1: has to be the answer.
- 3:35Speaker 3: If you're counting on Michael Penix to make your game interesting,
- 3:39Speaker 3: have you already lost?
- 3:41Speaker 1: Put it on the poll. I think you have.
- 3:43Speaker 6: Yeah, I think you've already lost.
- 3:45Speaker 7: But, I mean, Thursday Night Football, you can convince me
- 3:49Speaker 7: that going into this game, you're like, hey, the Falcons
- 3:52Speaker 7: have all these weapons, Michael Penix, Tua maybe. We'll get
- 3:56Speaker 7: you something. But how do you go, you know who
- 3:59Speaker 7: we want? We want Steelers at Browns. Everything we saw
- 4:03Speaker 7: from Aaron Rodgers last year, let's bring that back. And
- 4:07Speaker 7: then let's bring in the Browns with, either Deshaun Watson
- 4:11Speaker 7: or Shador Sant.
- 4:12Speaker 6: Like, what are we doing?
- 4:14Speaker 4: At least that one, though, has the divisional aspect to
- 4:17Speaker 4: that game. And it feels like Thursday Night Football is
- 4:20Speaker 4: a lot of give and take because last week, We
- 4:22Speaker 4: got Lions at Bills for the first game at Highmark Stadium.
- 4:27Speaker 4: It feels like Thursday Night Football, some of their games are.
- 4:29Speaker 6: Going to be famous. They sold out for that?
- 4:30Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 4:31Speaker 4: It's almost like an auction draft where they're using all
- 4:34Speaker 4: their money to get the Bills-Josh Allen matchups. And then
- 4:38Speaker 4: with their last couple of dollars, they're like, hey, we
- 4:40Speaker 4: have to fill out this schedule. Brown Steelers.
- 4:43Speaker 1: It's like when you have three bucks left in fab. Yeah.
- 4:48Speaker 3: I love this idea of all the networks sitting around,
- 4:51Speaker 3: all the executives, and they're sitting around going, listen, I
- 4:54Speaker 3: think we just bid big on this Lions, Bills, the
- 4:57Speaker 3: home opener.
- 4:58Speaker 6: Listen, we're going to have no money left. That's all right.
- 5:01Speaker 6: We'll just take Brown Steelers. We'll be okay.
- 5:03Speaker 2: So you guys have the major networks who have primetime games.
- 5:06Speaker 1: You have them bidding for the games every week.
- 5:09Speaker 6: In an auction.
- 5:10Speaker 1: I love this, by the way. And they have $ 100
- 5:12Speaker 1: fab dollars.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Go ahead.
- 5:14Speaker 4: Not only do we have this idea. I think if
- 5:17Speaker 4: somebody televised this, like say if Netflix bought this.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Yes.
- 5:20Speaker 4: I think this draws better than like the NBA finals.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Put it on the poll.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Would a prime time NFL game auction draw bigger numbers than.
- 5:30Speaker 1: The NBA finals?
- 5:31Speaker 4: NBA finals, yeah.
- 5:34Speaker 1: I think he's right. I'm not even joking, Mikey.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Imagine you have one representative from each network, and they're
- 5:42Speaker 2: auctioning off the best NFL games, and you have to
- 5:45Speaker 2: see how these networks manage their money and what they're
- 5:47Speaker 2: left with at the end, and what they're left with
- 5:49Speaker 2: is tonight's game.
- 5:51Speaker 6: You find me a way to bet on it live,
- 5:54Speaker 6: and I'm in.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Oh, I got Amazon Prime getting six divisional games.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Yes, before we get to JJ, I said earlier, Taylor
- 6:04Speaker 2: not only has a qualm but a problem with the
- 6:06Speaker 2: show Survivor, a show I haven't watched since David Sampson
- 6:09Speaker 2: left that island.
- 6:11Speaker 1: But go ahead. What's your qualm? What's your problem?
- 6:13Speaker 4: Yeah, he left that show day one.
- 6:16Speaker 1: He swore to us he was going to win it,
- 6:18Speaker 1: and he was off day one.
- 6:20Speaker 4: So I've started to get into Survivor recently. I need
- 6:23Speaker 4: a show on Wednesdays with no football, and season 51
- 6:26Speaker 4: of Survivor started last night. So before I even mention
- 6:30Speaker 4: the qualm or the problem, I promise everybody who's watching
- 6:33Speaker 4: the show, no spoilers. So my qualm, since it's lesser.
- 6:38Speaker 4: There is such a mob mentality in this show where
- 6:40Speaker 4: people lie about their jobs if they think it's threatening
- 6:43Speaker 4: and it's going to put a target on their back.
- 6:45Speaker 8: So.
- 6:45Speaker 4: A lawyer, for instance, goes on the show and says,
- 6:47Speaker 4: I'm a second grade teacher. This girl yesterday on the show, Jenna,
- 6:52Speaker 4: she says, I'm a wedding photographer. One of the guys
- 6:55Speaker 4: on the show, Devin, he goes, I don't believe her.
- 6:57Speaker 4: And he starts telling everybody on the island, she's lying.
- 7:01Speaker 4: She can't be trusted. And they're practically ready to vote
- 7:03Speaker 4: her out. The problem is she is a wedding photographer.
- 7:06Speaker 1: She is. So he's a liar. Taylor. Yeah.
- 7:15Speaker 6: You go on the show. Why did I answer when.
- 7:17Speaker 1: You said Taylor?
- 7:19Speaker 4: What do I tell them I do? So the problem is,
- 7:22Speaker 4: I don't know if you could actually say you're like
- 7:24Speaker 4: a media personality, because I think that would put a
- 7:27Speaker 4: target in your back because they would automatically assume that
- 7:31Speaker 4: you're good at talking and would be able to, you know,
- 7:33Speaker 4: talk your way through a jury. The problem is they
- 7:36Speaker 4: don't know that I can't really talk that well.
- 7:37Speaker 8: Right.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Well, that's that's a good point. You have to say
- 7:40Speaker 1: something benign.
- 7:41Speaker 8: Right.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Where, you know, you're not threatening.
- 7:43Speaker 6: Right.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Well, you're not a threat to everyone else on the island.
- 7:45Speaker 1: I mean, you have to lie a little bit to
- 7:47Speaker 1: win that game. Right. Which is why I'm surprised Samson
- 7:49Speaker 1: didn't walk away with it.
- 7:52Speaker 6: So, Taylor, that's my question. Like, you have to lie
- 7:55Speaker 6: about what you do.
- 7:57Speaker 7: And what is it that you're going to tell them
- 7:59Speaker 7: you're doing that you can convincingly lie enough about to
- 8:03Speaker 7: act like, oh, yeah, that's what I do.
- 8:05Speaker 6: I'm a wedding photographer. Yeah, you want to get the.
- 8:07Speaker 6: the low light and like, what are you telling them?
- 8:10Speaker 1: You're a barber.
- 8:11Speaker 2: I mean, until they, until they ask you, until they
- 8:16Speaker 2: ask you to cut.
- 8:16Speaker 6: Their hair on the show.
- 8:20Speaker 1: I don't do haircuts here. That's what I say. I'm
- 8:22Speaker 1: in this game to win it. I'm in this game
- 8:24Speaker 1: to survive.
- 8:24Speaker 6: I liar.
- 8:26Speaker 1: You're out. This is vacation. I left business at home.
- 8:29Speaker 4: So Stu, I'm glad you just mentioned in it to
- 8:32Speaker 4: win it because I, That now leads to my problem.
- 8:35Speaker 1: All right. Can I stop for a second? Just can
- 8:37Speaker 1: we slow down for a second?
- 8:38Speaker 2: I didn't realize you had a pecking order when it
- 8:40Speaker 2: comes to qualms, problems.
- 8:42Speaker 4: Qualm, dilemma, problem, I would say.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Really?
- 8:47Speaker 6: Wait.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Is the problem the worst? Like, that's it?
- 8:50Speaker 4: Yeah, I think problem, in this tier at least, problem
- 8:54Speaker 4: is by far worse.
- 8:55Speaker 1: And dilemma is second worst?
- 8:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Not quite a problem, but still a dilemma?
- 8:59Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:59Speaker 1: And a qualm is not quite a dilemma, but a qualm.
- 9:02Speaker 4: Qualm is like a concern, so I guess qualm and
- 9:04Speaker 4: concern are probably on the same tier.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Okay, weird that you thought about this.
- 9:07Speaker 5: Anyway, go ahead.
- 9:09Speaker 4: So when I'm watching last night, and Mikey, this might
- 9:12Speaker 4: get you mad too, they introduced this guy, Mike Pinsky,
- 9:16Speaker 4: and Mike Pinsky's job, the assistant director of baseball operations
- 9:22Speaker 4: for the New York Yankees.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Oh, wow.
- 9:24Speaker 4: And I hear that, and I go, Excuse me?
- 9:27Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 9:28Speaker 4: Can the New York Yankees just focus on baseball? Why
- 9:32Speaker 4: are we on Survivor? The New York Yankees have not
- 9:34Speaker 4: won a World Series since 2009, and we have members
- 9:38Speaker 4: of our baseball operations department. Mike, he described himself as
- 9:41Speaker 4: Brian Cashman's right-hand man.
- 9:43Speaker 8: Right.
- 9:43Speaker 4: We have this guy in Fiji looking for immunity idols.
- 9:47Speaker 4: You know what I want Mike Pinsky to find? A
- 9:49Speaker 4: reliever at the trade.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Fair, Mike. Maybe he'll find one on the island. Who knows?
- 9:56Speaker 3: If he's Brian Cashman's right hand man i hope he
- 9:58Speaker 3: wins it all because i hope he's marooned on that
- 10:01Speaker 3: island for as long as possible right because whatever he's
- 10:04Speaker 3: been telling brian cashman hasn't been working.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Yes uh mikey wishes cashman was stuck on the islands yeah.
- 10:10Speaker 4: Bring cashman to that island never let him out like
- 10:12Speaker 4: we needed so much more at the deadline and instead
- 10:15Speaker 4: i i turn on cbs mikey My stomach turned when
- 10:19Speaker 4: I heard this guy describe his job, and I see
- 10:21Speaker 4: the tagline of Survivor as outwit, outplay, and outlast. Mike Pinsky,
- 10:26Speaker 4: why don't you outwit the L.A.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Dodgers?
- 10:28Speaker 4: Why don't you outplay the Tampa Bay Rays? And why
- 10:30Speaker 4: don't you outlast the Boston Red Sox this postseason before
- 10:33Speaker 4: you go on a Fiji Island trying to win Survivor 51?
- 10:36Speaker 1: I'm pretty certain they taped the show.
- 10:39Speaker 5: In May.
- 10:41Speaker 6: Okay, when is an executive off? The offseason?
- 10:45Speaker 1: Why did you spit that at me in May?
- 10:48Speaker 4: Stu Gatz, if George Steinbrenner was alive, do you think
- 10:52Speaker 4: Mike Pinsky is on Survivor?
- 10:54Speaker 1: Over his dead body.
- 11:07Speaker 2: John Jashremski joins us, host of New York, New York,
- 11:10Speaker 2: and started Underscore New York with our buddy.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Sal Licata and Jimmy T, Jimmy Triana. And JJ is.
- 11:16Speaker 6: With us right now.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Taylor started calling you JJ in our group text. Do
- 11:20Speaker 2: you call yourself JJ?
- 11:23Speaker 8: I never called myself JJ, but here's the problem, fellas.
- 11:26Speaker 5: My dad is John Sr.
- 11:28Speaker 3: Right.
- 11:29Speaker 5: So, like, when you're in a household where there's, like, 10.
- 11:31Speaker 8: Zillion Johns, JJ just kind of became a thing, and.
- 11:36Speaker 5: You should know this, Stugatz. There's 10 zillion Johns all
- 11:39Speaker 5: over the place. So at least you're more likely to
- 11:43Speaker 5: stand out with J.J. So I've kind of rolled with it.
- 11:45Speaker 5: I don't care. You call me John, J.J., call me
- 11:47Speaker 5: whatever the hell you want.
- 11:47Speaker 2: All right, but I'm wondering, me and Mikey are wondering,
- 11:50Speaker 2: do you feel like Taylor is close enough with you
- 11:52Speaker 2: to call you J.J.
- 11:54Speaker 5: Yes, absolutely.
- 11:55Speaker 8: Absolutely. Taylor, I got your back on this.
- 11:58Speaker 5: In fact, I'm offended.
- 12:00Speaker 8: I'm offended that the two of you guys would think
- 12:02Speaker 8: that it's like you have to earn that right.
- 12:04Speaker 5: Like, no. Taylor, I got your back, buddy boy.
- 12:08Speaker 2: I do feel like you have to earn the right
- 12:10Speaker 2: to call someone their nickname.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Yes, I do.
- 12:13Speaker 8: Come on, Jage. Guys, but when your first name starts
- 12:16Speaker 8: with a J.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Yes, you're right.
- 12:18Speaker 8: Your last name starts with a J. I mean, it's
- 12:21Speaker 8: one thing if, like, my nickname was, like, I don't know,
- 12:24Speaker 8: Hotshot or something. Or, you know, like Slick, where it's like, hey,
- 12:28Speaker 8: you got to earn that because you don't, you know.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Yeah, no, no, it's totally.
- 12:32Speaker 5: JJ's easy.
- 12:32Speaker 6: Come on.
- 12:33Speaker 2: It's totally fair because we had a friend, John Jones,
- 12:36Speaker 2: and we would call him JJ, and everyone would call
- 12:38Speaker 2: me JW.
- 12:39Speaker 1: So you're right.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Yes, when you have a couple of Johns cutting it up,
- 12:42Speaker 2: you need to.
- 12:42Speaker 5: By the way, JW and Stugato. I'm glad we roll
- 12:46Speaker 5: with two guys.
- 12:47Speaker 3: J.W.
- 12:47Speaker 5: Doesn't work for you, man.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 12:49Speaker 5: You're not a J.W.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Guy.
- 12:50Speaker 4: So, J.J., I am glad that you just had my
- 12:53Speaker 4: back there because I need you to now have my
- 12:55Speaker 4: back because yesterday I'm watching Survivor.
- 12:58Speaker 1: You just had your back. You said that wrong.
- 12:59Speaker 8: Yes.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Uh-oh.
- 13:00Speaker 6: Now I'm nervous. You're asking him to double down.
- 13:03Speaker 5: Yeah, this is a problem. Yeah.
- 13:07Speaker 6: I want to back that JJ up.
- 13:09Speaker 1: This is what it felt like doing this show with
- 13:10Speaker 1: Levitar and all those years. Go ahead.
- 13:13Speaker 4: So JJ, I'm watching survivor yesterday. The new season just started.
- 13:17Speaker 4: And one of the guys on Survivor, his name is
- 13:20Speaker 4: Mike Pinsky. He's the assistant director of baseball operations for
- 13:25Speaker 4: the New York Yankees. And as a Yankee fan, I
- 13:28Speaker 4: have a major problem with him spending even part of
- 13:30Speaker 4: the season on an island in Fiji instead of focusing
- 13:34Speaker 4: on bringing a World Series to the Bronx.
- 13:36Speaker 1: They did it in May.
- 13:38Speaker 5: Wow, this is just like Team J.J. Taylor tagging up
- 13:42Speaker 5: on everything.
- 13:43Speaker 6: Here would be my question.
- 13:44Speaker 5: What do you do for, like, leave of absence purposes? Hey, Cash,
- 13:48Speaker 5: I'm out of here. I'm going to do Survivor.
- 13:53Speaker 8: You guys, what would be your reaction if one of
- 13:55Speaker 8: the guys just said in the middle of football season.
- 13:57Speaker 5: When you, like, need them the most?
- 13:58Speaker 1: Right.
- 13:59Speaker 5: I'm going to do Dancing with the Stars.
- 14:01Speaker 6: I got to be honest with you.
- 14:03Speaker 8: If I got to be on Dancing with the Stars,
- 14:04Speaker 8: it'd be incredible for content. I feel like maybe it's
- 14:07Speaker 8: a bad example as long as you can do the content.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Right.
- 14:11Speaker 8: But if Taylor said to you, hey, I'm doing Dancing
- 14:13Speaker 8: with the Stars. It's me with whoever. And I'm not
- 14:18Speaker 8: doing any interviews. I'm not cutting any interviews. I'm not
- 14:21Speaker 8: posting YouTube.
- 14:22Speaker 1: I'm out.
- 14:23Speaker 5: I'm just going to be a dancer. Then I think
- 14:25Speaker 5: you'd have a problem.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Well, I don't know because I have to be honest.
- 14:28Speaker 2: It'd be a great promotion for the show. We would
- 14:31Speaker 2: get a ton of content out of it. Um, so
- 14:33Speaker 2: I feel like I'd be okay with it. I'd probably
- 14:36Speaker 2: push them towards it.
- 14:37Speaker 4: But JJ, you know, who doesn't need promotion and doesn't
- 14:40Speaker 4: need content right now, the New York Yankees. And the
- 14:42Speaker 4: fact that this episode premiered just days after I watched
- 14:47Speaker 4: the Tampa Bay Rays celebrate winning the AL East division
- 14:51Speaker 4: at Yankee stadium, no less. Yeah. I, This is why
- 14:54Speaker 4: I have a problem with it. And I want to
- 14:56Speaker 4: be clear, I'm rooting for Pinsky. I'm rooting for Pinsky
- 14:58Speaker 4: to win this thing. But there is something deeply offensive
- 15:01Speaker 4: about the possibility that a Yankees front office executive could
- 15:04Speaker 4: win Survivor before the Yankees could win another World Series.
- 15:08Speaker 1: They taped it in May!
- 15:13Speaker 5: Here's my problem, guys. I should be getting excited for
- 15:16Speaker 5: the playoffs. I really should. Like, it's October.
- 15:19Speaker 8: Yes. In New York area, there's a little bit of
- 15:21Speaker 8: a chill in the air. It feels like fall, which
- 15:24Speaker 8: I absolutely love.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Oh, that's great.
- 15:25Speaker 5: See, fellas, here's the problem.
- 15:27Speaker 8: Whether Pinsky's doing Survivor or not, I don't give a
- 15:30Speaker 8: rat's ass because I know how this is going to
- 15:32Speaker 8: go for the Yankees.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Of course.
- 15:33Speaker 5: That's the reality.
- 15:34Speaker 8: Guys, literally since 2010, the Yankees have the same season.
- 15:39Speaker 8: They make the playoffs. The Yankee hater contingent. And I
- 15:43Speaker 8: have a lot of Yankee haters in my life. They
- 15:45Speaker 8: all try to convince me this is going to be
- 15:47Speaker 8: the year. I think it's partially due to troll me.
- 15:50Speaker 8: It's partially to get under my skin.
- 15:51Speaker 5: Oh, you're the Yankees.
- 15:52Speaker 6: You're going to win.
- 15:53Speaker 8: You're going to get to the top of the mountain.
- 15:55Speaker 8: They'll lose in embarrassing fashion. The front office will come
- 15:58Speaker 8: back and say, good try.
- 16:00Speaker 5: We were close. We're right there. And we'll see you
- 16:03Speaker 5: next year and we'll do the exact same thing.
- 16:05Speaker 8: So I tell, I don't know about you, like whether
- 16:07Speaker 8: Pinsky's doing Survivor or not. I have resigned myself to
- 16:11Speaker 8: knowing exactly how this Yankee season is going to go.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Right, but you want Pinsky to win then because at
- 16:16Speaker 2: least you'll get some hardware, right?
- 16:18Speaker 5: I mean, why not? If Pinsky wants to win, we'll
- 16:21Speaker 5: put a little Pinsky plaque in the back of the Zoom.
- 16:23Speaker 8: We'll put the participation trophy for Yankees making playoffs.
- 16:28Speaker 5: Pinsky's survivor.
- 16:30Speaker 6: Let's go.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Yes, but I don't think that's how survivor works where
- 16:33Speaker 2: you just say if Pinsky wants to win.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Yeah, Pinsky wants to win.
- 16:37Speaker 5: You know, guys, I have to be honest.
- 16:38Speaker 8: I don't think I've watched a Survivor since, like, the 1990s,
- 16:42Speaker 8: early 2000s.
- 16:43Speaker 5: Like, I remember the first one, the guy walking around naked,
- 16:46Speaker 5: rooting for the Navy SEAL. Then I think the next
- 16:49Speaker 5: year it went to Australia.
- 16:50Speaker 8: Other than that, I could not tell you one thing
- 16:52Speaker 8: that's happened in Survivor over the last 30 years.
- 16:54Speaker 5: Couldn't tell you.
- 16:55Speaker 2: You didn't watch when David Sampson was on Survivor, the
- 16:57Speaker 2: Marlins team president?
- 16:58Speaker 4: No?
- 16:59Speaker 5: No, I did not. No disrespect, David. I did not watch.
- 17:02Speaker 1: You can disrespect him. It's okay.
- 17:04Speaker 6: That's fine, David.
- 17:05Speaker 1: I hope.
- 17:05Speaker 5: Did he win?
- 17:06Speaker 4: No, he was the first person to win.
- 17:08Speaker 6: That's too bad.
- 17:09Speaker 2: No, he swore to us he would win, and then
- 17:10Speaker 2: he got kicked off first day.
- 17:12Speaker 5: Well, first day.
- 17:14Speaker 6: Oh, that's disappointing.
- 17:15Speaker 8: That'd be like me on Dancing with the Stars. I
- 17:17Speaker 8: wouldn't stand a chance, guys. I'd like to think that
- 17:19Speaker 8: I could, but I couldn't.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Right.
- 17:20Speaker 2: It's funny you had Taylor on Dancing with the Stars
- 17:22Speaker 2: when the real dancer in this crew is Mikey A.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I mean, seriously.
- 17:26Speaker 3: Oh, Mikey.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Yeah, baby. Oh, yeah.
- 17:28Speaker 6: Oh, I can move. It should be illegal to have
- 17:32Speaker 6: a man this big move the way I do.
- 17:34Speaker 2: So speaking of dancing, JJ, you're going to a wedding
- 17:36Speaker 2: this weekend, correct? And I am wondering how you.
- 17:38Speaker 8: That is correct. I don't even know the town in Tennessee.
- 17:41Speaker 8: All I know is we're flying into Knoxville, and it's
- 17:43Speaker 8: like 30, 40 minutes away.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Well, at least it won't be busy.
- 17:45Speaker 6: Pigeon Forge.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Yes, it won't be busy there this weekend. So I'm
- 17:49Speaker 2: wondering how you— well, two things on the wedding front. Taylor
- 17:52Speaker 2: went to a wedding, opened bar, walked up to the bar,
- 17:56Speaker 2: and got a Shirley Temple.
- 17:57Speaker 1: How do you feel about that?
- 18:00Speaker 5: Not my favorite order.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Not my favorite order. Okay.
- 18:05Speaker 8: I mean, here's the thing, though, with these open bars,
- 18:08Speaker 8: and you learn this over time. Skinny man like myself
- 18:12Speaker 8: has to pace myself.
- 18:13Speaker 5: Like, I always get excited.
- 18:14Speaker 8: Oh, you see the open bar. There's so many options.
- 18:17Speaker 8: There's so many things you could choose from. Try to
- 18:20Speaker 8: stick to the same order. Like, the tequila sodas can work.
- 18:23Speaker 8: Then make the switch to beer. The people that go martini, margarita... this, that.
- 18:30Speaker 8: Because they're lunatics, and they're usually the ones that are
- 18:33Speaker 8: drunk off their faces and passing out on the dance
- 18:35Speaker 8: floor by 11 o'clock at night. So I'll try to
- 18:38Speaker 8: keep some level of consistency, but no, I'm not on
- 18:40Speaker 8: the Shirley Temple.
- 18:41Speaker 2: I have you as a guy who tears up the
- 18:43Speaker 2: dance floor at weddings, at bat mitzvahs, bar mitzvahs.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Am I right? Am I accurate?
- 18:47Speaker 5: That is 1,000% accurate.
- 18:49Speaker 8: I don't want to toot my own horn, but if
- 18:51Speaker 8: you guys go and go on the YouTube or go
- 18:54Speaker 8: on the Twitter or go on the SOI archives, There
- 18:58Speaker 8: is some video of me doing some Travolta at my
- 19:01Speaker 8: wedding after a lot. We had this great live band
- 19:04Speaker 8: and like they were, you know, taking breaks in between sets.
- 19:07Speaker 5: So they get the DJ going. Yes.
- 19:08Speaker 8: You know, I'm at the bar. I hear DJ. I hear,
- 19:11Speaker 8: what is it? You should be dancing. It was like Travolta.
- 19:14Speaker 8: In Saturday Night Fever, me storming out, throwing the jacket,
- 19:18Speaker 8: doing a little– everybody gathering around in a circle.
- 19:21Speaker 5: Yeah, I break it down. I do. I have no shame.
- 19:24Speaker 2: How do you feel about a Yankee fan called into
- 19:27Speaker 2: the show yesterday?
- 19:28Speaker 1: We've discussed this on the show.
- 19:30Speaker 2: They don't want the Yankees to win the World Series
- 19:32Speaker 2: unless Aaron Judge is playing for the Yankees because they're
- 19:35Speaker 2: afraid that it's going.
- 19:36Speaker 1: To tarnish his legacy. It's absurd, man.
- 19:40Speaker 8: That is absolutely positively absurd. If he doesn't win– And
- 19:44Speaker 8: the Yankees win. That's all that matters to me. They
- 19:46Speaker 8: haven't won in 17 years. Guys, the last time they
- 19:48Speaker 8: won was a senior.
- 19:50Speaker 5: In college.
- 19:50Speaker 8: I know I'm sounding like the long-suffering Yankee fan, but
- 19:53Speaker 8: guess what?
- 19:54Speaker 5: Not at the Knicks have.
- 19:54Speaker 8: Won and the Dolphins have no hope. I can phrase
- 19:58Speaker 8: myself as the long-suffering Yankee fan, but who cares?
- 20:01Speaker 5: Like, listen, that's all well and good.
- 20:03Speaker 8: Aaron Judge, that's why, guys, in some capacity in this
- 20:07Speaker 8: playoff run, he will force his way onto the roster.
- 20:10Speaker 5: I'm not saying it's going to happen next week. I'm
- 20:12Speaker 5: not saying it's even going to happen in the division series.
- 20:15Speaker 8: If the Yankees keep advancing, Aaron Judge is going to say,
- 20:18Speaker 8: put me on the roster.
- 20:20Speaker 5: I don't care if I'm a pinch hitter off the bench.
- 20:22Speaker 8: You're going to set me up to have my Gibson
- 20:25Speaker 8: moment potentially. Like you're doing that and there's nothing you
- 20:28Speaker 8: can do.
- 20:30Speaker 6: You're absolutely right.
- 20:31Speaker 3: As a Yankee fan, I don't care who's on the
- 20:34Speaker 3: roster if they win the World Series, but it does
- 20:36Speaker 3: affect his legacy, right? Like that would absolutely matter for
- 20:40Speaker 3: his overall resume to say the only time they were
- 20:43Speaker 3: able to get a ring with you on the roster,
- 20:45Speaker 3: you didn't play.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a hit. It's a hit. Right.
- 20:50Speaker 5: And some Yankee fans would root against that. My caveat
- 20:53Speaker 5: is you haven't won it forever.
- 20:55Speaker 1: You want to win.
- 20:56Speaker 5: Yes. Does anybody care that the Atlanta Braves won the
- 20:59Speaker 5: World Series?
- 21:00Speaker 8: What was it in 2021? And Ronald Acuna blew out
- 21:02Speaker 8: his ACL. Ronald Acuna is an amazing player.
- 21:05Speaker 5: Guess what? You don't take the championships away.
- 21:07Speaker 6: Sorry.
- 21:07Speaker 2: You think the Giants or Phil Simms care that the
- 21:09Speaker 2: Giants won the Super Bowl with Jeff Hostetler?
- 21:11Speaker 1: I mean, no.
- 21:15Speaker 6: Ridiculous.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Anyway, tailed.
- 21:16Speaker 8: The Dolphins could win the Super Bowl, guys, with any
- 21:19Speaker 8: of you playing quarterback. It wouldn't matter to me if
- 21:22Speaker 8: they draft Arch Manning next year, number one overall, if, like,
- 21:25Speaker 8: backup Z comes in and goes on to Nick Foles' run.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Of his life. Yes.
- 21:29Speaker 5: That's it.
- 21:30Speaker 8: I will officially be able to die happy if they
- 21:33Speaker 8: win a Super Bowl, but I've accepted the fact that
- 21:35Speaker 8: it'll never happen.
- 21:35Speaker 5: It's okay.
- 21:36Speaker 1: They'd have a better chance if one of us was
- 21:37Speaker 1: playing quarterback.
- 21:41Speaker 5: God, they stink.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Yeah, they're bad.
- 21:42Speaker 5: And I knew they were going to stink, but my goodness,
- 21:44Speaker 5: they stink.
- 21:45Speaker 4: JJ, the news yesterday was that Aaron Judge did come
- 21:48Speaker 4: out and say he plans on playing in that wild
- 21:50Speaker 4: card series against the Red Sox when that comes. But
- 21:55Speaker 4: there's been this disconnect between him and Boone where Boone's
- 21:58Speaker 4: saying he has a mild calf strain and then Judge
- 22:01Speaker 4: is saying I'm mad at Boone for saying that I
- 22:03Speaker 4: have the calf strain. What do you make of Boone
- 22:06Speaker 4: and Judge's relationship where it seems like something is off there?
- 22:10Speaker 6: So it's Penske.
- 22:12Speaker 5: It might be Penske.
- 22:13Speaker 1: He's a good guy. Yeah.
- 22:15Speaker 5: Boone usually has his players back. I think to a fault.
- 22:19Speaker 8: I think he has his players backs way too often,
- 22:21Speaker 8: in my opinion. When it comes to this one, guys,
- 22:25Speaker 8: I actually think Boone's in the right here. I just
- 22:27Speaker 8: think judge is way too sensitive and doesn't want any
- 22:30Speaker 8: of this information getting out regarding his injury, except for
- 22:33Speaker 8: the fact that like Aaron is a week left in
- 22:34Speaker 8: a regular season. You're the biggest star on the team.
- 22:37Speaker 8: You're the biggest star outside of Otani in baseball. People
- 22:42Speaker 8: are going to figure out what the hell is going
- 22:43Speaker 8: on with your calf. So you could try to play
- 22:45Speaker 8: this as close to the vest as you want. You
- 22:47Speaker 8: may not like language.
- 22:48Speaker 5: That's being said.
- 22:49Speaker 8: There's got to be at least some level of transparency
- 22:52Speaker 8: from what's going on at the top, right?
- 22:55Speaker 5: Those guys have always been good.
- 22:57Speaker 8: I'm not going to get too crazy about it, but
- 23:00Speaker 8: I think it comes down to, like, judges just being
- 23:02Speaker 8: a little too sensitive.
- 23:03Speaker 1: That's all.
- 23:04Speaker 2: JJ, which fan base is more frustrated, the Jet fan
- 23:07Speaker 2: base with Aaron Glenn or the Giant fan base with
- 23:11Speaker 2: just the entirety of the situation?
- 23:13Speaker 5: Wow. It's got to be the Giants.
- 23:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:15Speaker 8: Because I think the expectations are still so limited for
- 23:19Speaker 8: the Jets.
- 23:19Speaker 4: Sure.
- 23:20Speaker 8: And I think most Jet fans who have a brain
- 23:22Speaker 8: realize that their head coach flat out stinks, even though
- 23:24Speaker 8: the roster is better, even though they're going.
- 23:27Speaker 5: To be more watchable.
- 23:29Speaker 8: There's no legitimate hope for the Jets as far as like, hey,
- 23:32Speaker 8: we're going to win double-digit games. We can go win
- 23:33Speaker 8: our division. Guys, I watched week one against the Cowboys,
- 23:37Speaker 8: and I said, holy smokes. Giants can win the division.
- 23:40Speaker 8: Jackson Dart looks awesome. They got an identity under Harbaugh.
- 23:44Speaker 8: And to literally have that taken away in the first series.
- 23:49Speaker 5: Of game two. And you know what makes it even worse, Stugatz?
- 23:52Speaker 8: The fact that they had to hear throughout the entire
- 23:56Speaker 8: broadcast and the 24 hours leading up to Tuesday, Jackson
- 24:01Speaker 8: Dart's going to be fine.
- 24:02Speaker 5: Oh, he's going to be fine.
- 24:03Speaker 8: It's going to be an MCO. He's going to be
- 24:05Speaker 8: out a couple of weeks. You had all the Twitter
- 24:07Speaker 8: doctors out there. So like for me, I'm not a
- 24:10Speaker 8: Giant fan, but for all the Giant fans in my life,
- 24:12Speaker 8: They get that Schefter tweet on Tuesday.
- 24:15Speaker 5: You got to be effing kidding me. Really?
- 24:17Speaker 1: That's it?
- 24:18Speaker 5: The season is over? The season is over again?
- 24:21Speaker 1: Come on.
- 24:22Speaker 5: It's got to be the Giants.
- 24:23Speaker 4: Stu, what I love is Harbaugh yesterday announced that Dart
- 24:26Speaker 4: was out for the season, and he said, I'm not
- 24:28Speaker 4: ruling out the postseason, though. But, J.J., do the Giants
- 24:32Speaker 4: fans just have to bank on the.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Fact that— Was he watching his backup?
- 24:37Speaker 4: That's exactly where I was about to go. J.J., do
- 24:39Speaker 4: Giants fans just have to bank on the fact that
- 24:41Speaker 4: Jameis Winston can't possibly be that bad, as bad as
- 24:45Speaker 4: he was week two against the Rams?
- 24:47Speaker 8: So he won't be as bad as he was in
- 24:50Speaker 8: week two because they can actually drop a game plan
- 24:52Speaker 8: for him. Here's the problem, though. I don't know if
- 24:54Speaker 8: you guys are following this. Jameis Winston wants to be
- 24:57Speaker 8: a media superstar.
- 24:58Speaker 6: Yes.
- 24:58Speaker 5: Like, he wants to do podcasts. He wants to be
- 25:01Speaker 5: on Fox.
- 25:02Speaker 8: Fox has him doing basically every event under the sun.
- 25:05Speaker 5: He's doing the World Cup. He's doing a baseball all-star game.
- 25:08Speaker 8: Like, I think the idea of him coming to New
- 25:10Speaker 8: York is, hey, I can hang in the quarterback room.
- 25:13Speaker 5: I'm a good hang with Jackson Dart.
- 25:15Speaker 3: Right.
- 25:15Speaker 5: If I got to play one or two games, great.
- 25:17Speaker 5: I can do that. Now it's like, oh, goodness, I
- 25:20Speaker 5: got to play the rest of the season.
- 25:24Speaker 6: I think it's one of those. Yes.
- 25:25Speaker 5: Like he loved to check.
- 25:27Speaker 8: He loved being a backup, but he thought he was
- 25:29Speaker 8: going to be the backup for one or two games.
- 25:31Speaker 8: Jameis Winston is fun for like a game or two.
- 25:33Speaker 8: Like I'm all about the Jameis Winston experience. 400 yards,
- 25:37Speaker 8: three touchdowns, three picks.
- 25:38Speaker 5: We've seen that.
- 25:39Speaker 8: If he's your quarterback week in and week out, it's
- 25:42Speaker 8: not such a fun experience.
- 25:43Speaker 1: He's going to undo all the equity he's built up
- 25:46Speaker 1: with his play. It's unbelievable.
- 25:49Speaker 2: All those jobs are going to go away. He'd rather
- 25:51Speaker 2: not play and just be Jameis. Happy-go-lucky on the sidelines.
- 25:55Speaker 5: It'd be better to just be Jameis.
- 25:57Speaker 8: All I'll say is the soundbites better continue to be outstanding. So, Jameis,
- 26:01Speaker 8: if you're thinking down the road, make sure that you're
- 26:03Speaker 8: bringing it after these games.
- 26:04Speaker 1: But wait a second, guys. Let's think about this.
- 26:06Speaker 2: John Harbaugh prides himself on being prepared for any situation.
- 26:10Speaker 1: He is a head coach. He is a leader of men.
- 26:13Speaker 2: How does he not have his backup quarterback focusing, playing harder,
- 26:17Speaker 2: practicing harder, and have a game plan if, indeed, his
- 26:21Speaker 2: injury-prone starting quarterback gets hurt again?
- 26:23Speaker 1: Crazy.
- 26:24Speaker 8: Well, it might be one of those situations where John
- 26:27Speaker 8: horrible watches James Winston for two or three games. And
- 26:29Speaker 8: then it's just like scouring the waiver wire to find
- 26:32Speaker 8: his next Tyler Hundley. Like, I think he's probably saying,
- 26:35Speaker 8: can I get Hundley? Can I get, can I get
- 26:37Speaker 8: Flacco here? Somebody I know, please.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Flacco.
- 26:40Speaker 4: What I'm not going to do JJ is do the
- 26:41Speaker 4: whole woe is me. If you're John Harbaugh, John Harbaugh
- 26:44Speaker 4: is a future hall of fame coach. This is John
- 26:47Speaker 4: Harbaugh's time to kind of go out and earn a check, right?
- 26:50Speaker 8: Yeah, and build that foundation. Their next couple of games,
- 26:54Speaker 8: in theory, are winnable. The Titans stink. They put the
- 26:57Speaker 8: Cardinals at home. That's winnable. Then they're at the Commanders,
- 27:00Speaker 8: who are a total dumpster fire. They're going to fire
- 27:02Speaker 8: Quinn at the end of the year. That team is
- 27:04Speaker 8: a hot mess. So if you win a couple of
- 27:06Speaker 8: games and you coach your ass off, he's won.
- 27:09Speaker 5: With backup quarterbacks before.
- 27:11Speaker 8: I'm not saying that they're going to win big, but
- 27:14Speaker 8: the idea that they can have a respectable product on
- 27:16Speaker 8: the field– A couple of years ago, correct me if
- 27:20Speaker 8: I'm wrong, guys, Snoop Hundley went into Cincy. The Bengals
- 27:24Speaker 8: were smoking hot, and they should have won the game.
- 27:28Speaker 8: They had the game won in Cincinnati. I hope there's
- 27:32Speaker 8: at least a level of watchability, for my sake at least.
- 27:35Speaker 1: How do you feel about the idea of a coach?
- 27:37Speaker 1: I like this, actually, where they earn their check.
- 27:39Speaker 6: Earn their check.
- 27:40Speaker 1: You have that going down.
- 27:43Speaker 4: We have to set some kind of goals or benchmarks,
- 27:46Speaker 4: and then if they don't earn the check, We keep
- 27:48Speaker 4: the check.
- 27:48Speaker 6: That third and fourth call? No check.
- 27:51Speaker 8: Do you earn the check by Thanksgiving when Fox, CBS,
- 27:56Speaker 8: and all these TV networks show the In the Hunt graphic?
- 28:00Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 28:00Speaker 8: If I can get four and five New York Giants
- 28:04Speaker 8: in the hunt, do you earn the check?
- 28:06Speaker 4: And then every team, JJ, has a charity that they
- 28:09Speaker 4: donate the money to if they don't earn the check.
- 28:12Speaker 4: So we're doing good, too.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:14Speaker 5: Oh, we're really doing good for the communities in the
- 28:16Speaker 5: greater New York area. I love this.
- 28:18Speaker 1: You guys have John Harbaugh agreeing to these terms? I've
- 28:21Speaker 1: got to work on that.
- 28:22Speaker 5: I've got to see what I can do.
- 28:24Speaker 8: Taylor, Mike, let's make our way over to East Rutherford
- 28:27Speaker 8: and see what.
- 28:28Speaker 1: We can do.
- 28:29Speaker 2: JJ, quickly on the way out here, you were telling me,
- 28:32Speaker 2: we mentioned it earlier, you're going to Knoxville. Tennessee and
- 28:35Speaker 2: Texas is this weekend, but you mentioned you were playing
- 28:38Speaker 2: golf and that you were terrified.
- 28:41Speaker 5: So it's like 30 minutes away. It's in these like
- 28:44Speaker 5: smoky mountains.
- 28:45Speaker 6: Yes.
- 28:46Speaker 8: And the Airbnb and the golf course that I'm playing
- 28:50Speaker 8: on Saturday morning.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Yes.
- 28:51Speaker 5: Both sent me text notifications about what to do if
- 28:56Speaker 5: you encounter a bear.
- 28:58Speaker 8: And I'm like, it's a kid who's walked around the
- 29:00Speaker 8: streets of New York city his whole life. I had
- 29:02Speaker 8: a four year detour at Syracuse. You don't really know
- 29:05Speaker 8: much about what to do when a bear comes. So
- 29:08Speaker 8: I said to my wife, do I play dead? So
- 29:10Speaker 8: we Google it. She's like, no, you do not play dead.
- 29:12Speaker 7: No.
- 29:12Speaker 5: Thankfully, I'm loud, but you don't scream.
- 29:15Speaker 8: If I see a bear on the golf course or
- 29:18Speaker 8: walking around my like Airbnb premises, I'll take a picture,
- 29:22Speaker 8: but try not to get killed and murdered at the
- 29:24Speaker 8: same time.
- 29:25Speaker 2: So Ron McGill is a zoo expert. Join me and
- 29:27Speaker 2: Dan forever on a weekly basis. He said the key
- 29:31Speaker 2: is when you encounter a bear to not act scared,
- 29:34Speaker 2: to look that bear right in the eye, and then
- 29:36Speaker 2: just to backstep very slowly.
- 29:38Speaker 1: That's it. That's what he told us.
- 29:39Speaker 5: Okay.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Okay.
- 29:40Speaker 5: I'll try to keep all of this in mind.
- 29:42Speaker 8: JJ, I'm on the fourth tee in Sayreville, Tennessee, and
- 29:49Speaker 8: I got Mama and Baby Cub sneaking up behind me.
- 29:52Speaker 5: That should be an enjoyable experience.
- 29:54Speaker 4: JJ, I think Ron McGill's exact advice was you have
- 29:56Speaker 4: to make yourself big and go, hey, bear.
- 29:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:00Speaker 1: I got to work on my, hey, bear. Yes, you
- 30:03Speaker 1: have to act like a bear. That's what you have
- 30:05Speaker 1: to do. Like, yes.
- 30:06Speaker 5: I'll see what I can do. I can't promise anything,
- 30:08Speaker 5: but I'll see what I can do.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Hopefully make it back in one piece. But back up slowly.
- 30:11Speaker 1: That's all I'm telling you, okay?
- 30:13Speaker 3: I was going to say, while leaving a trickle of
- 30:15Speaker 3: urine backing up slowly the whole time.
- 30:18Speaker 6: Right, easy for Ron McGill to say.
- 30:20Speaker 1: I mean, the animals like them.
- 30:21Speaker 6: They hate us.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Anyway, JJ, we appreciate it. Thank you for doing this.
- 30:24Speaker 2: I feel ridiculous calling you JJ, but you gave me
- 30:27Speaker 2: permission to do so.
- 30:28Speaker 1: How's it going with Sal? Everything good?
- 30:30Speaker 5: Sal is an absolute firecracker, fellas.
- 30:33Speaker 8: And I've worked with him forever, going back to the
- 30:35Speaker 8: S & Y days.
- 30:37Speaker 5: You know, you always wonder when I.
- 30:38Speaker 8: Never really did a ton of shows with anybody. So, like,
- 30:40Speaker 8: me playing off of somebody has been fantastic. And I
- 30:44Speaker 8: got to trauma a little bit when, you know, Juan
- 30:46Speaker 8: Soto grounded in that 3-6 or 4-6-3 double play a
- 30:50Speaker 8: couple weeks ago.
- 30:50Speaker 5: That was fantastic.
- 30:51Speaker 1: All right, check him out. He's the host of New York,
- 30:53Speaker 1: New York.
- 30:54Speaker 2: It started underscore New York with Sal Licata and Jimmy Triana.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Say hi to Jimmy for me. JJ, we appreciate it, man.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Thank you for doing this.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Anytime, guys. All right, man.
