- 1:27Speaker 1: friend in the world, A man I have known for
- 1:31Speaker 1: twenty years, a man with a legendary laugh, the sense
- 1:35Speaker 1: of humor that could diffuse any violatile situation. One of
- 1:43Speaker 1: the most respected bookmakers in the history of the world,
- 1:48Speaker 1: A likely first ballot Hall of Famer in the Sports
- 1:52Speaker 1: Betting Hall of Fame from the Orleans representing all the
- 1:58Speaker 1: Boyd gaming books in the state of this world. Mr
- 2:05Speaker 1: Bob Scucci, my goodness, what introduction? What do you think
- 2:26Speaker 1: of that? My intro gets longer and longer each time.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Here's the thing, as you know, As you know, it's
- 2:36Speaker 1: January seven, We're a week end of the year, and
- 2:38Speaker 1: I feel good about what's happened so far. Like I
- 2:42Speaker 1: get up every day and my life is about moving
- 2:46Speaker 1: the needle. Okay, Like every year I make the same
- 2:50Speaker 1: New Year's resolution. I want to live up to my potential.
- 2:54Speaker 1: That's it. I feel like I have vast amounts of
- 2:58Speaker 1: potential and I would like to live up to it,
- 3:00Speaker 1: and every day I would work towards that goal. I
- 3:04Speaker 1: don't say that to be sarcastic. I am saying it earnestly,
- 3:08Speaker 1: you know. I feel like, if you're going to get
- 3:10Speaker 1: a shot, take it and use all the talent you have, right,
- 3:14Speaker 1: So you're with me, right, um, And I feel really
- 3:19Speaker 1: good about how the year has gone so far. Action Network,
- 3:22Speaker 1: as you know, that's where I work. Phenomenal first week,
- 3:27Speaker 1: Like I think we exceeded all the expectations we had
- 3:32Speaker 1: for what we would do in the first week around
- 3:34Speaker 1: college football in NFL playoffs, and like literally every day
- 3:38Speaker 1: they're sending out these reports. Oh my god, record breaking,
- 3:42Speaker 1: Oh my god, record breaking. And more people use the
- 3:44Speaker 1: app today than ever before. More people were on our
- 3:46Speaker 1: website today than ever before. Last night, I'm watching, I'm
- 3:50Speaker 1: watching like the real time in Google Analytics, real time
- 3:52Speaker 1: users can current users on the site highest we've ever had. Right,
- 3:56Speaker 1: Like the editors and the writers are doing such a
- 3:58Speaker 1: good job, and like everyone of the product team is
- 4:00Speaker 1: like building momentum, Like we're adding things and it's exciting.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Feel great about that. Like to move the needle, that's
- 4:07Speaker 1: what my kids say. They always there, like, Dad, you
- 4:08Speaker 1: moved the needle today. And then like one year this
- 4:11Speaker 1: past year for my birthday, Uh, my older son Zach,
- 4:15Speaker 1: he got me a package of needles, said Dad, I
- 4:19Speaker 1: hope you moved the deal every day that you did
- 4:23Speaker 1: that for me and that nice. So I'm feeling great,
- 4:27Speaker 1: Like I'm feeling fantastic, Like our two guys are to
- 4:30Speaker 1: college football guys, Colin Wilson and Stucky Like. They had
- 4:34Speaker 1: been talking about Clemson since literally May. I just tweeted
- 4:37Speaker 1: something out this morning. Uh that was May two, eighteen,
- 4:42Speaker 1: Colin Wilson saying, I believe Clemson has solved its explosiveness
- 4:47Speaker 1: issues with Trevor Lawrence. I am betting them to make
- 4:50Speaker 1: the College football Playoff and to win it all. Wow,
- 4:54Speaker 1: and he did. That's pretty strong. It's pretty good, right. Yeah. Yeah,
- 4:59Speaker 1: So I'm feeling great. I have all these reasons to
- 5:01Speaker 1: feel great. We're gonna feast. We are going to fucking
- 5:04Speaker 1: feast during the rest of the NFL playoffs. I can
- 5:07Speaker 1: feel it. I can feel the momentum, I can feel
- 5:10Speaker 1: the audience coming our way. I am super excited about it.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Um can't wait quick. How much of the repeal of
- 5:19Speaker 1: past but do you think contributed to the success of
- 5:23Speaker 1: the Action Network. I think it's everything, Um, I think. Look,
- 5:28Speaker 1: I joined Action Network before it was Action Network. In
- 5:31Speaker 1: September seventeen, I officially signed with my Currents and the
- 5:37Speaker 1: Churning Group and the three companies we were buying UH
- 5:40Speaker 1: and merging together Sports Insights, Fantasy Labs, and UH the
- 5:45Speaker 1: Sports Action app. We had to finish the paperwork yet,
- 5:48Speaker 1: So like Action Network didn't exist until October three, two seventeen,
- 5:53Speaker 1: everyone who joined Action Network was all in on this concept,
- 5:57Speaker 1: not having any idea what was going to happened with PASPA,
- 6:01Speaker 1: right because UH in June of two thousand seventeen, UM
- 6:05Speaker 1: they had decided to the Supreme Court had decided here
- 6:08Speaker 1: the New Jersey case. That happens to be like the
- 6:11Speaker 1: moment when I decided I'm leaving ESPN and joining the
- 6:15Speaker 1: Action Network. Like for the month before that, I had
- 6:18Speaker 1: been talking to Currents and my currents at the Turning
- 6:20Speaker 1: Group and like been thinking about it, but I hadn't
- 6:23Speaker 1: like sort of turned the corner. And then like I
- 6:26Speaker 1: had had a meeting with CERNS and this guy Brian
- 6:29Speaker 1: Mead who started Sports Action, and this guy Mark Kamal,
- 6:31Speaker 1: and they ran through their entire business model and sort
- 6:34Speaker 1: of what their plans were. And initially I looked at
- 6:37Speaker 1: him and I'm like, dudes, this is brilliant. You kind
- 6:40Speaker 1: of don't need me because you got it all mapped
- 6:42Speaker 1: out and they were very kind and solicitous and they're like, well,
- 6:45Speaker 1: we'd think we'd like you to join anyways. And then uh,
- 6:48Speaker 1: then then the Supreme Court decided they were hearing PASPA um,
- 6:52Speaker 1: and I thought to myself, there's sixty percent chance it
- 6:56Speaker 1: it gets overturned, like the gambling advances. Right, So I'm like,
- 7:00Speaker 1: it's gonna be two thirds, like either New Jersey is
- 7:02Speaker 1: gonna get it, they're gonna repeal all of PASPA or
- 7:05Speaker 1: it's gonna stay the way it is. And like I figured,
- 7:07Speaker 1: all right, two thirds of a chance, I'm going right.
- 7:10Speaker 1: So then it gets repealed, and it's just a dramatic
- 7:13Speaker 1: change because all of a sudden, there's all this attention,
- 7:15Speaker 1: all this conversation. There's more states like coming online, and
- 7:18Speaker 1: so I do think there's like just an increase in
- 7:22Speaker 1: the amount of interest and activity, but uh, in conversation
- 7:25Speaker 1: around sports betting. But look at this point, we're still
- 7:28Speaker 1: a tiny company, Like we are growing fast and we
- 7:32Speaker 1: are excited about the progress. And it's super cool like
- 7:36Speaker 1: our CEO, Patrick keane Um, who's amazing, like he was
- 7:40Speaker 1: we were gonna call yesterday and he was talking about
- 7:43Speaker 1: like he's been at you know, he was a Google
- 7:45Speaker 1: before with public, right, Like he's seen sort of he's
- 7:48Speaker 1: seen the growth of companies, UM when they're in the
- 7:52Speaker 1: nascent stages, and knows what it's like when you start
- 7:55Speaker 1: out at such a smells base that like everything sort
- 7:58Speaker 1: of grows exponentially from there. So we're in that stage, right,
- 8:01Speaker 1: And also like we're in that stage and it's hyper
- 8:05Speaker 1: intense because it's college football bull season and NFL playoffs, um,
- 8:10Speaker 1: and so we're seeing more and more attention and like
- 8:12Speaker 1: more and more people are coming to the table because
- 8:13Speaker 1: they're interested in this. So I think passed as a
- 8:15Speaker 1: part of it. And I think there's sort of an
- 8:17Speaker 1: underserved audience too. Wow, that's good stuff. What do you
- 8:22Speaker 1: think of that? And I know from well, I think
- 8:26Speaker 1: it's just the beginning and and just from my perspective,
- 8:29Speaker 1: this past year has been like no other in the industry.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Just it's been a whirlwinds since that decision, and I'm
- 8:37Speaker 1: just seeing the landscape change in a lot of companies.
- 8:41Speaker 1: And uh so I'm just curious as to you know,
- 8:43Speaker 1: how much it affected you, and you've so eloquently told me.
- 8:47Speaker 1: I agree with you, thank you. See that's what I'm
- 8:51Speaker 1: talking about kindness, kindness, the Year of kindness. Scoots compliment
- 8:55Speaker 1: to me last night. You know, I like rarely get
- 8:58Speaker 1: to have dinner with my family because I traveled so
- 9:01Speaker 1: much and and um, last night we haven't had dinner.
- 9:05Speaker 1: We had dinner from five until five and PM. It
- 9:13Speaker 1: was really because like I had a call at five
- 9:15Speaker 1: thirty my younger son like had you know, he was
- 9:18Speaker 1: playing squash and so he was like had a squash
- 9:20Speaker 1: event at six and so, uh, we decided, my wife
- 9:24Speaker 1: and I looked at each other, We're like, ship, we
- 9:26Speaker 1: gotta make dinner right now if we all want to
- 9:27Speaker 1: have dinner together. And in those ten minutes, like immediately,
- 9:32Speaker 1: my kids are fifteen and twelve, and like they're just
- 9:35Speaker 1: laying into me like and like they're sort of sarcastic,
- 9:42Speaker 1: like smarter than anybody tone and like I laid in
- 9:48Speaker 1: my bed right like I know where they get it.
- 9:51Speaker 1: But I had said to him, like, dudes, it's the
- 9:53Speaker 1: your kindness, Like let's let's be kind right, And so
- 9:57Speaker 1: I said, everyone say four nice things about mom, like
- 10:01Speaker 1: she made dinner, Like I was really nice of her.
- 10:04Speaker 1: She was crazy. She's an architect, she's got like she
- 10:06Speaker 1: you know, she wants to work part time, but she's
- 10:08Speaker 1: so freaking busy she's working full time. And um, I'm like,
- 10:12Speaker 1: she made dinner. Like, let's let's say something four nice
- 10:15Speaker 1: things about mom. So my twelve year old, who's incredibly
- 10:19Speaker 1: sort of observant and thoughtful, says something really sweet about
- 10:23Speaker 1: my wife that is more than just like you know,
- 10:26Speaker 1: she's hot or I appreciate her making dinner. Uh, And
- 10:30Speaker 1: I'm like, wow, that is like a really keen observation.
- 10:35Speaker 1: He goes, No, oh, what he goes, don't say something stupid.
- 10:39Speaker 1: I'm like what he goes, like, I don't even know
- 10:42Speaker 1: if I believe you the way you're saying it. I
- 10:45Speaker 1: just can't trust that this is a kind comment. So
- 10:48Speaker 1: I'm just not going to accept it. I'm like, what
- 10:51Speaker 1: the fund is happening here? That? Like, I can't even
- 10:56Speaker 1: compliment my son when he's saying something nice about his
- 11:00Speaker 1: mom and my wife. So I appreciate you complimenting me
- 11:08Speaker 1: because you don't get it anywhere, because I have created
- 11:11Speaker 1: a house of horrors, right all right, you're of kindness,
- 11:19Speaker 1: your kindness, my friend, Listen, this is out on Wednesday,
- 11:23Speaker 1: but last night with a cod Football playoff. Um, you
- 11:26Speaker 1: know what's interesting. Uh, at some point I'll let you talk.
- 11:29Speaker 1: But I was on the radio a bunch before the
- 11:31Speaker 1: Code Football Playoff and I said, everybody, if I'm bet
- 11:34Speaker 1: in this game, I'm ben Clemson on the money line
- 11:36Speaker 1: because I don't think the spread matters. I think it's
- 11:38Speaker 1: like Alabama's gonna blow him out, or if Clemson's gonna win,
- 11:41Speaker 1: if Clemson's gonna cover, they're gonna win. And then I
- 11:43Speaker 1: never bet the game, and I regret that. How how'd
- 11:50Speaker 1: it go for you? You know what's frustrating for me? No?
- 11:54Speaker 1: Not great. And here's why it's frustrating, because since we
- 11:57Speaker 1: put the line out, I said, let's I told the
- 12:00Speaker 1: the entire staff, I said, let's favor Clemson in this one.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Let's be the absolute lowest. Anyone that bets Clemson at
- 12:07Speaker 1: our place is going to get at least a half
- 12:09Speaker 1: a point the worst of the number. So when everybody
- 12:12Speaker 1: was at six, we were at five and a half.
- 12:14Speaker 1: When everyone was at five and a half, we were
- 12:16Speaker 1: at four and a half. Um, we started taking some
- 12:19Speaker 1: professional money at minus four and a half. And uh,
- 12:22Speaker 1: I just told the guys, I let him take it.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Take it, and we had such a bad NFL weekend
- 12:30Speaker 1: that every parlay and every teaser was even either going
- 12:34Speaker 1: to Clemson or going to Alabama or going to the over.
- 12:39Speaker 1: We had no chance of winning the game. We were
- 12:41Speaker 1: just whatever we were going to win in straight bets
- 12:44Speaker 1: was mitigated by all the parlays and teasers that were
- 12:47Speaker 1: carried over from Saturday and Sunday's NFL games, So we
- 12:51Speaker 1: were just kind of in a no wins. It was
- 12:53Speaker 1: still the best scenario we could have. Second best it
- 12:56Speaker 1: would have if it stayed under, it would have been
- 12:58Speaker 1: the best because everybody had the over in that game.
- 13:02Speaker 1: We opened sixty, went down to kind of fifty nine,
- 13:05Speaker 1: and took a bunch back late on the over, so
- 13:08Speaker 1: that was a bad number. But we just didn't do
- 13:11Speaker 1: as well on the game as as we should have
- 13:13Speaker 1: taken such a position on Clemson. Crazy game, really crazy game.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Loved it so much fun. What was interesting to me
- 13:24Speaker 1: and I was tracking this sort of on our site
- 13:26Speaker 1: as we as the game was going on, is you know,
- 13:30Speaker 1: we had posted a story um about the two thousand
- 13:34Speaker 1: nine National Champion odds, so not the game that was happening,
- 13:40Speaker 1: but for next season, that thing freaking skyrocketed like people
- 13:46Speaker 1: could not wait to start talking about next season already.
- 13:51Speaker 1: That to me shows an appetite, right like that is
- 13:53Speaker 1: where people's heads are at. Um. It was a like
- 13:57Speaker 1: such an exciting first quarter within between the pick six
- 14:02Speaker 1: and the seventy yard bomb from Tua, like that story
- 14:07Speaker 1: was driving insane amount of traffic. Are you surprised? Are
- 14:11Speaker 1: you surprised at at sort of people looking ahead already
- 14:15Speaker 1: to want to at all? When did you post odds
- 14:18Speaker 1: for next year college football? Yesterday? And we have the
- 14:25Speaker 1: typical We have Clemson actually the favorite, Alabama the second favorite,
- 14:30Speaker 1: and then uh, Georgia Ohio State, you know, the the
- 14:35Speaker 1: usual suspects. Have you taken any um big bets on
- 14:39Speaker 1: anybody at at longer odds? Little a little bit on
- 14:44Speaker 1: Notre Dame at thirty one? Um? But I mean nothing
- 14:48Speaker 1: from many professionals that are you know, seeing an opportunity yet?
- 14:54Speaker 1: Speaking along odds, do you know what the it's the
- 14:57Speaker 1: nineteen anniversary I believe of the Music City Miracle? Wow,
- 15:07Speaker 1: already it seems like yesterday. Do you know where I
- 15:10Speaker 1: was for the Music City Miracle? You were at the
- 15:14Speaker 1: Stardust Because I remember, I remember people betting on that game.
- 15:18Speaker 1: I remember you being behind the counter. That's the super Bowl.
- 15:24Speaker 1: That was the Super Bowl where I was in Joe
- 15:27Speaker 1: Lupo's office at the Stardust and we were watching the
- 15:30Speaker 1: Super Bowl together and you guys were freaking out because
- 15:32Speaker 1: of the liability. I was at a diner. I was
- 15:35Speaker 1: at a diner with Alan Boston in some strip mall
- 15:38Speaker 1: in Vegas. He had a hundred thousand dollars on the
- 15:43Speaker 1: Titans in that game. We were eating oatmeal at this
- 15:48Speaker 1: diner and he would always get mad at me because
- 15:51Speaker 1: he felt like I scraped my spoon with my teeth
- 15:55Speaker 1: when I ate. You can imagine that that's something Alan
- 15:58Speaker 1: would get irritated with. And and uh, he looked at it.
- 16:04Speaker 1: You know, this is back in two thousand. He looked
- 16:06Speaker 1: at his page here and saw that like he had
- 16:09Speaker 1: lost this bet, and he like just tossed his page
- 16:14Speaker 1: around at the table like all that sucks. And then
- 16:16Speaker 1: we got into his gold corvette and a buddy of
- 16:20Speaker 1: has called and said, can you believe that finish? And
- 16:24Speaker 1: he said what happened? And he was told and he
- 16:28Speaker 1: looked at me, he goes just one dollars And then
- 16:32Speaker 1: we peeled out of that parking lot like nothing, back
- 16:35Speaker 1: to his house to go spend it all in college basketball.
- 16:40Speaker 1: No way, I don't remember you telling me that before.
- 16:44Speaker 1: I've never told you that story. No, No, it's pretty good, right.
- 16:51Speaker 1: You're getting my best today, Scooch. Yeah. Can we talk
- 16:55Speaker 1: about We got a lot to talk about. We have
- 16:58Speaker 1: so much talk about. We do have to get to
- 16:59Speaker 1: the game. I gotta talk about the Bears. Can I
- 17:02Speaker 1: tell you what I did. I bet the Chargers on
- 17:06Speaker 1: the money line. That was a win. I bet Philip
- 17:09Speaker 1: Rivers under two hundred and fifty three yards. That was
- 17:12Speaker 1: a win. I bet Lamar Jackson under fifteen and a
- 17:15Speaker 1: half completions. Boy, that one came close, but that was
- 17:18Speaker 1: a win. Uh. In the Bears game, I hadn't bet
- 17:21Speaker 1: a side because I wanted the Bears at four and
- 17:23Speaker 1: a half. I never got them. And so then the
- 17:25Speaker 1: game's three three, and I see the Bears live betting
- 17:30Speaker 1: at minus three and a half, and so I unload, unload,
- 17:40Speaker 1: throw all discipline out the window on the Bears at
- 17:43Speaker 1: minus three and a half. So then they're up, they
- 17:50Speaker 1: fall behind. I'm like, okay, I'm gonna lose the bet,
- 17:53Speaker 1: but give me a chance to win the game. We
- 17:56Speaker 1: know what happened. Oh yeah, we have finished because I
- 18:01Speaker 1: had the Bears in one of my Super Bowl pools,
- 18:03Speaker 1: of which I would win, you know, a few thousand dollars.
- 18:07Speaker 1: And Uh, a buddy of mine texted me this morning.
- 18:10Speaker 1: He's like, hey, tough beat last weekend. Can you send
- 18:16Speaker 1: me the check because the Bears are out of it?
- 18:23Speaker 1: That's great. Yeah, I feel really bad for you, but hey,
- 18:27Speaker 1: by the way, I need that money. Feel really bad.
- 18:29Speaker 1: It didn't go well for you guys either this weekend. No, no,
- 18:33Speaker 1: we were done that. You know that That Colts game
- 18:35Speaker 1: was just that just put such a damper on the
- 18:38Speaker 1: on the weekend for us, and and we thought we
- 18:41Speaker 1: were kind of favored the Colts a little bit. I
- 18:43Speaker 1: know at one point. I don't know if you still did,
- 18:46Speaker 1: but you had liked Houston pretty good. Did I bet
- 18:50Speaker 1: them a minus one and a half? Yeah, So that
- 18:53Speaker 1: game was terrible that right out of the gate. But
- 18:57Speaker 1: that Cowboys, Oh my god, the Cowboys game was just disaster.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Uh Janikowski? Who who? Who would have figured that Janikowski
- 19:04Speaker 1: going out of the game would have affected the line
- 19:07Speaker 1: as much as it did. Amazing, right that. Yeah, I
- 19:10Speaker 1: mean that game is the difference of them making the
- 19:13Speaker 1: two point conversion or missing the two point conversion was
- 19:16Speaker 1: the difference of hundreds of thousands of dollars. And uh.
- 19:21Speaker 1: And that's just the way it goes. I mean, you know,
- 19:23Speaker 1: we we were at two and a half, we were
- 19:25Speaker 1: at two. We're at one and a half in a
- 19:27Speaker 1: game false two. I had the Cowboys minus one and
- 19:30Speaker 1: a half. Beautiful, brilliant. It's the mindset of the better, right. Um.
- 19:41Speaker 1: I had to be in the city all day on Saturday,
- 19:42Speaker 1: visiting my inn laws in Staten Island, New York. So
- 19:46Speaker 1: I didn't even get home back to Connecticut until halftime
- 19:50Speaker 1: of the Cowboys game. Turn it on, and towards the
- 19:54Speaker 1: end of the game, people start talking about like looking
- 19:59Speaker 1: ahead to the two point conversion that the Seahawks are
- 20:02Speaker 1: inevitably gonna have to do if they score a touchdown,
- 20:04Speaker 1: as being like the difference maker. And because I knew
- 20:06Speaker 1: I had the Cowboys one and a half, I wasn't
- 20:08Speaker 1: even thinking about like anybody who could have had two
- 20:11Speaker 1: or two and a half. Um, and I'm like, oh
- 20:15Speaker 1: my god, that's gonna suck. And that's exactly what happened. Yeah,
- 20:21Speaker 1: it's I do feel like with kickers this year, like
- 20:25Speaker 1: those those sort of backdoor cover scenarios, teams are down
- 20:30Speaker 1: by ten, they're making a comeback. It's really not gonna
- 20:34Speaker 1: turn out. But it has everything to do with the spread,
- 20:37Speaker 1: Like those two point conversion attempts in the kicking has
- 20:40Speaker 1: had a huge impact. Like I don't know if it's
- 20:43Speaker 1: a tangible impact that is quantifiable, but I certainly believe
- 20:48Speaker 1: it is a psychological impact where people are just like
- 20:51Speaker 1: freaking out at the end of games, even during the
- 20:56Speaker 1: at the end of the game for sure, but during
- 20:57Speaker 1: the game you could almost sense it sometimes when a
- 21:01Speaker 1: team scores a touchdown that looks like it's going to
- 21:04Speaker 1: tie it up and they miss an extra points and
- 21:06Speaker 1: at seven to six instead of seven seven, you can
- 21:09Speaker 1: just kind of feel that it's going to have some
- 21:11Speaker 1: sort of an impact at some point in the game
- 21:14Speaker 1: with regards to the points bred and uh, and it
- 21:17Speaker 1: does seem like there's uh, there's been a lot more
- 21:20Speaker 1: intrigue as a result of the kickers make missing field
- 21:24Speaker 1: goals or extra points this year. Yeah, I know the
- 21:26Speaker 1: NFL didn't do this because of betting, but it sure
- 21:30Speaker 1: feels like the changes in the kicking game have an
- 21:34Speaker 1: injury list type impact on people's interest in uh in
- 21:40Speaker 1: gambling in the NFL. They have, and they're skewing the numbers.
- 21:44Speaker 1: You know. You go back, you know, ten years, and
- 21:47Speaker 1: you look at all of the UM the games that
- 21:50Speaker 1: were decided by three points, and they were somewhere in
- 21:52Speaker 1: the neighborhood of like fourteen and a half percent of
- 21:54Speaker 1: all NFL games were um decided by three points and
- 21:59Speaker 1: the numbers of two and five. There was virtually no
- 22:02Speaker 1: games that were decided by five points or two points,
- 22:05Speaker 1: so you could kind of skip some of those dead
- 22:06Speaker 1: numbers and moving lines. A lot of that starting to
- 22:09Speaker 1: shift as a result of the moving back of the
- 22:13Speaker 1: kicking of the extra point. So the adjustments are going
- 22:16Speaker 1: to have to be made, and you're gonna start seeing
- 22:18Speaker 1: in the coming years those kind of shifting of you know,
- 22:22Speaker 1: the dead numbers aren't dead anymore, so, so they're gonna
- 22:24Speaker 1: have some relevance in terms of linemaking. Better start getting better,
- 22:29Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. Yeah, two, take hold of
- 22:36Speaker 1: your destinary destiny, live up to your potential. Okay, do it, Scooch,
- 22:43Speaker 1: be the best bookmaker you can be. Try and try,
- 22:50Speaker 1: and Buddy, you didn't sound convinced. We got some games
- 22:58Speaker 1: to talk about, and they are so, they're so so,
- 23:02Speaker 1: they're great games all the way around. The Chiefs five
- 23:05Speaker 1: and a half point favorits. That line open at five tricky, tricky, tricky. Yeah,
- 23:12Speaker 1: speaking of dead numbers, we opened it on one. We
- 23:16Speaker 1: actually opened this like in the beginning of the third
- 23:19Speaker 1: quarter of the Colts Texans game, because they had that
- 23:22Speaker 1: game well in hand, and all of the early money
- 23:25Speaker 1: was on the Colts. And some of it is you
- 23:28Speaker 1: mentioned psychological betting. Some of it is just you're watching
- 23:32Speaker 1: how dominant the Colts are in a particular game, so
- 23:35Speaker 1: immediately when you see the next line come up, uh,
- 23:38Speaker 1: the instinct is, oh, they're getting five points against the Chiefs,
- 23:41Speaker 1: and it's an immediate bet. And then cooler minds prevail
- 23:45Speaker 1: as like the next day and now you're starting to
- 23:47Speaker 1: look at it, say, you know what, the Chiefs are
- 23:49Speaker 1: pretty good. So so the betting on the Colts kind
- 23:53Speaker 1: of cooled down after Sunday and into Monday. We started
- 23:56Speaker 1: getting uh, some Chiefs money and now we're dead even
- 23:59Speaker 1: on the game at five and a half so we
- 24:02Speaker 1: opened five, went to five and a half um, but
- 24:06Speaker 1: it's been dead even since, both in ticket count and
- 24:09Speaker 1: end in money. The people that are betting the Colts,
- 24:13Speaker 1: the recreational betters, are betting them on the money line.
- 24:15Speaker 1: And and this is another trend I think I mentioned
- 24:18Speaker 1: before in all the big games now national championship games,
- 24:21Speaker 1: super Bowl, when you get the good teams playing each other,
- 24:25Speaker 1: the uh, instead of taking the points at four or
- 24:28Speaker 1: four and a half five that the trend is to
- 24:31Speaker 1: just bet bet them on the money line. You're getting
- 24:32Speaker 1: better value. And we're starting to see less and less
- 24:35Speaker 1: games being decided by the point spread. In other words,
- 24:39Speaker 1: if the favorite wins, they've been usually covering, and if
- 24:43Speaker 1: the underdog wins, they win the game. Out right, there's
- 24:45Speaker 1: very few win and no covers um by by the favorite.
- 24:49Speaker 1: So the public is recognizing that, and we're getting tremendous
- 24:52Speaker 1: action on all the underdogs on the money lines, and
- 24:56Speaker 1: some of these favorites, you know, we're they're laying the points.
- 24:59Speaker 1: So from a bookmaking perspective, we would love to see
- 25:02Speaker 1: a lot of win and no covers this weekend. What
- 25:07Speaker 1: should I do? That's all great, I'm really excited for
- 25:10Speaker 1: you and your win and no covers? What should I do?
- 25:13Speaker 1: Hold on? Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Let me take that back. I'm only hoping for the best.
- 25:21Speaker 1: I hope you get win and no covers. Do you
- 25:23Speaker 1: think you could tell me what I might like to do? Uh?
- 25:27Speaker 1: As a better see kind? I just felt like that
- 25:31Speaker 1: was I'm really I feel really bad for you about
- 25:33Speaker 1: the Bears. Can you send me the check? But yeah,
- 25:40Speaker 1: I get what you mean, and I think what you
- 25:43Speaker 1: should do is take the hotter team. Who's the hotter
- 25:46Speaker 1: team right now? I think, I mean, since you look
- 25:50Speaker 1: at December one, I think that's right around the time
- 25:52Speaker 1: that uh Kareem hunt went went out and and the
- 25:57Speaker 1: Chiefs have really struggled against the points bread and losing.
- 26:01Speaker 1: I think two games straight up, and which team is
- 26:04Speaker 1: hotter right now and getting points? I think if from
- 26:07Speaker 1: a value perspective, I think you go with the Colts.
- 26:10Speaker 1: I agree with you, and I like seeing this number
- 26:13Speaker 1: go up. I'm actually just wondering, do I wait on it?
- 26:17Speaker 1: Do we think that it'll get to six? I think
- 26:23Speaker 1: some places open six? So can it go back to six? Uh? Yeah,
- 26:30Speaker 1: you might be able to find a six out there,
- 26:33Speaker 1: being that the early money was on the Colts and
- 26:35Speaker 1: then we started seeing some Chiefs money coming back. Um,
- 26:39Speaker 1: I think when the public starts to filter in town
- 26:43Speaker 1: and uh, they'll start laying the favorite a little bit.
- 26:46Speaker 1: I think the sharp guys are gonna be on the Colts,
- 26:48Speaker 1: though I don't see I don't see them laying this
- 26:50Speaker 1: five five and a half. What do you think of
- 26:52Speaker 1: the total in this game? I think you just bet
- 26:57Speaker 1: one way, A bet bet over on these games, especially
- 27:00Speaker 1: after all the after all the unders last week. I
- 27:04Speaker 1: said not Now, everything's gonna go the opposite way. I mean,
- 27:07Speaker 1: we're already probably ten times as many bets on the over.
- 27:10Speaker 1: We're at fifty seven and we have ten times as
- 27:13Speaker 1: many bets on the over. Absolutely nobody's betting the under
- 27:17Speaker 1: in this one. Really. Yeah. Matter of fact, I'm going
- 27:21Speaker 1: to go to fifty seven and a half right now.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Oh my god, that was such a surprise. I didn't
- 27:30Speaker 1: see that coming. Oh I can't believe it. Uh. This
- 27:38Speaker 1: next game, Dallas is a seven point dog against the Chargers. Um,
- 27:45Speaker 1: bets are coming in, and I mean against the Rams.
- 27:48Speaker 1: The bets are coming in on Dallas. But the money's
- 27:51Speaker 1: coming in on the Rams. Yeah, you know, the and
- 27:59Speaker 1: the generals, the sharp guys, they seem to be on
- 28:03Speaker 1: the Rams. And we're not getting some of the big
- 28:05Speaker 1: bets yet. But uh, from some of the professional handicappers
- 28:10Speaker 1: that uh that we know from you know, around town,
- 28:15Speaker 1: they've been coming in in small amounts on at minus seven.
- 28:19Speaker 1: So I think they feel like the right number in
- 28:20Speaker 1: this game should be somewhere in the neighborhood neighborhood of eight,
- 28:23Speaker 1: eight and a half. Um. This game has got the
- 28:27Speaker 1: general public kind of stumped because they, like I said
- 28:32Speaker 1: last week, they've been loving, loving the Cowboys the last month,
- 28:36Speaker 1: and but they've loved the Rams all year, so they're
- 28:40Speaker 1: kind of don't know which way to go on this one.
- 28:42Speaker 1: I think their heart tells them that taking Dallas right
- 28:45Speaker 1: now and their defense is looking good, and that they've
- 28:48Speaker 1: they've pulled out some really nice wins and they're getting
- 28:51Speaker 1: seven points that I think their heart tells them they
- 28:53Speaker 1: love to bet the Cowboys, and then they're like, you know,
- 28:56Speaker 1: but their Rams are really good and they're remembering this
- 28:59Speaker 1: Rams team from early in the year, so it's got
- 29:01Speaker 1: I'm kind of stumped. I'm looking at the ticket account
- 29:03Speaker 1: in this one, and we have less bets on this
- 29:07Speaker 1: game than any of the four on the board right now,
- 29:09Speaker 1: which is really odd. You would think that these two
- 29:12Speaker 1: teams would draw the most action, and I think some
- 29:14Speaker 1: of it is just because they, like I said, it's
- 29:16Speaker 1: got them, they don't know which way to go yet
- 29:17Speaker 1: in this one, well, let's um subscribe to the theory
- 29:23Speaker 1: you have for the Colts and the Chiefs down the stretch.
- 29:26Speaker 1: Like the Rams, We're not a team that covered at all.
- 29:32Speaker 1: They were a team that one but struggled to win.
- 29:36Speaker 1: In some cases they flat out lost. Jared Goff did
- 29:39Speaker 1: not look as good the second half of the season
- 29:41Speaker 1: as you did the first half of the season. And
- 29:44Speaker 1: the Cowboys are smoking. Their defense is sick right now.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Their defensive backs are playing so tight they are freaking
- 29:55Speaker 1: stick them on receivers. There there linebackers can just cover
- 30:01Speaker 1: the field lightning speed. So why wouldn't I take like
- 30:08Speaker 1: the Cowboys with a big number. I've seen nothing that
- 30:11Speaker 1: tells me they can't keep up with this team. I agree,
- 30:16Speaker 1: And this is the time of year when the defense
- 30:19Speaker 1: is really shine. And what I mean by that is
- 30:22Speaker 1: you see these high powered offenses and they look unstoppable.
- 30:26Speaker 1: But when you get into playoff time, it's in the
- 30:29Speaker 1: old cliche of the defense wins championships. This is when
- 30:34Speaker 1: when it happens and seven points. There's a lot of
- 30:38Speaker 1: points in a divisional playoff. And uh, I'm starting to
- 30:42Speaker 1: think that when I mentioned some of these professional handicappers
- 30:45Speaker 1: that aren't betting real big, it's almost as if they're
- 30:48Speaker 1: trying to get us off the number to go to
- 30:51Speaker 1: seven and a half, knowing it's a key number, and
- 30:53Speaker 1: then coming in heavy on the Cowboys on game day.
- 30:57Speaker 1: I mean, this might be the old you know, switcher
- 31:00Speaker 1: exag on the switch a ru on us. So we
- 31:05Speaker 1: we're gonna be careful not to move it off the seven.
- 31:07Speaker 1: Well we'll just move the money. Uh. But I'm starting
- 31:10Speaker 1: to see some money line bets on the Cowboys to
- 31:12Speaker 1: uh from not just the public, like I said, but
- 31:17Speaker 1: some some some sharp guys. It's it's odd they're betting.
- 31:20Speaker 1: They're betting the money line on the Cowboys and the
- 31:23Speaker 1: points on the Rams. So that's not even just like
- 31:28Speaker 1: the middle they can solve no, no, so they might
- 31:35Speaker 1: just different different betting groups are positioning themselves. So we
- 31:39Speaker 1: were really high on the money line only because we're
- 31:41Speaker 1: trying to offset some teasers, knowing that seven points is
- 31:44Speaker 1: a key teaser line to tease down to pick them.
- 31:48Speaker 1: So maybe they're just grabbing, you know, a plus two
- 31:50Speaker 1: seventy with us knowing that there's some plus two sixties
- 31:53Speaker 1: out there. You know who's really good at middling? Who Chad? Middle?
- 32:00Speaker 1: Middle Monster? What is your name? The middle Monster? Okay,
- 32:09Speaker 1: you could also call me Millie Monster, but middle Monster
- 32:12Speaker 1: is sort of the English translation, the old English translation.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Gotcha kind of action getting in the total in this game?
- 32:23Speaker 1: What's that? What kind of action you're getting in the
- 32:25Speaker 1: total here? Forty nine and a half? Forty nine? Um,
- 32:28Speaker 1: forty nine and a half is what we're using now. Um,
- 32:32Speaker 1: pretty good two way on the total, not as off,
- 32:34Speaker 1: not as skewed as the Colts Chiefs game, where it's
- 32:38Speaker 1: just all lopsided on on the over. But this game,
- 32:41Speaker 1: I think maybe um the Cowboys defense, like you mentioned,
- 32:44Speaker 1: to make some pause a little bit about betting this
- 32:47Speaker 1: game over. It's a tough one. Yeah, it's a tough one.
- 32:53Speaker 1: I have a strong opinion on the total right now.
- 32:56Speaker 1: Um l A Chargers visiting New England. I'm in love
- 33:00Speaker 1: with this team Scooch. I love Philip Rivers. I love
- 33:03Speaker 1: this defense. They were playing three defensive backs that linebacker
- 33:06Speaker 1: this week. It was genius. I loved watching this game
- 33:10Speaker 1: like it was such a championship fight in that first half. UM,
- 33:17Speaker 1: so much fun, just a ball like even though the
- 33:20Speaker 1: like there wasn't any scoring, and like to me, the
- 33:24Speaker 1: way they were hitting each other was outstanding, out standing
- 33:30Speaker 1: four points. Like the money's coming in on the Chargers,
- 33:33Speaker 1: like that game open to four and a half. I
- 33:35Speaker 1: know a lot of guys who have already bet the
- 33:37Speaker 1: Chargers in the under. Could be three to five inches
- 33:40Speaker 1: of snow in Foxboro this weekend. Tie it all together
- 33:44Speaker 1: for me? What are the wise guys doing? What is
- 33:46Speaker 1: the snow do to the total? What will the snow
- 33:48Speaker 1: do to the people's ideas of what they want to bet? Yeah,
- 33:51Speaker 1: they pounded the under in this one, Um, so start
- 33:55Speaker 1: starting with that one. Um, we're down to forty five
- 33:58Speaker 1: and a half. We opened to forty seven and a half.
- 34:02Speaker 1: H and we just got to keep an eye on,
- 34:04Speaker 1: like you said, the weather there, because you know, if
- 34:07Speaker 1: it clears up and they're it's not as bad as
- 34:10Speaker 1: they they expected, then the number pops right back up,
- 34:13Speaker 1: and we get when we get mettled. But the game itself,
- 34:16Speaker 1: this is the most fascinating to me on the game
- 34:20Speaker 1: on the board. As soon as we hung this with
- 34:23Speaker 1: you know, as much money as we got on the
- 34:25Speaker 1: Chargers against the Ravens, we knew that the public would
- 34:29Speaker 1: kind of be in love with the Chargers. Um. So
- 34:31Speaker 1: we kind of lowered what our initial line would have
- 34:35Speaker 1: been with Patriots Chargers, and we lowered it and opened
- 34:39Speaker 1: what we thought was a low number at five uh.
- 34:42Speaker 1: And that the money just came pouring in on the
- 34:45Speaker 1: Chargers both. And this is the part that surprised me.
- 34:48Speaker 1: I knew that the sharp guys would probably see value
- 34:50Speaker 1: in the Chargers, but the public. I thought that, really,
- 34:54Speaker 1: I thought the public would just favor the Patriots in
- 34:57Speaker 1: this one. No One, as much as they've loved the Chargers,
- 34:59Speaker 1: the Chargers still kind of fell onto the radar a
- 35:02Speaker 1: lot of the year, um, meaning that as good as
- 35:05Speaker 1: they are, as good as their record is, they didn't
- 35:08Speaker 1: really start drawing that big money that we used to
- 35:11Speaker 1: see weekend and week out with the Steelers and the
- 35:14Speaker 1: Patriots and you know, the Rams and the Saints, all
- 35:17Speaker 1: those teams that would just draw a tremendous amount of action.
- 35:20Speaker 1: We never really got that with the Chargers until uh
- 35:23Speaker 1: really last week with the with the Ravens. So I
- 35:26Speaker 1: thought that this would be a little bit more uh
- 35:30Speaker 1: skewed towards the Patriots, and it's not. Both public and
- 35:33Speaker 1: sharp guys are both on the Chargers, um, so that
- 35:36Speaker 1: this is gonna be We're we haven't needed the Patriots
- 35:39Speaker 1: this big since the Super Bowl last year and that
- 35:42Speaker 1: didn't work out too well. This feels like a money
- 35:50Speaker 1: line spot for the Chargers and we're heavy on the
- 35:55Speaker 1: money line there too. I'm gonna move this down. As
- 35:58Speaker 1: a matter of fact, we're at plus plus one seventy five.
- 36:01Speaker 1: I think we should go to plus one seventy. Well,
- 36:08Speaker 1: it's just seeing if the guys are paying attention, nailed it, Um,
- 36:16Speaker 1: you're getting hit from all sides on this. Then everyone
- 36:18Speaker 1: wants the Chargers. God, everyone wants the Chargers. And it
- 36:21Speaker 1: just feels like whenever one wants the Chargers, and I've
- 36:24Speaker 1: got Tom Brady with a week off at home playing
- 36:27Speaker 1: in the snow. Boy, oh boy, oh boy, does it
- 36:32Speaker 1: feel like I'm gonna want about the Patriots. I am
- 36:34Speaker 1: just waiting for this number to go lower. Yeah, if
- 36:37Speaker 1: it goes to three and a half, I think I
- 36:39Speaker 1: think you have to play the Patriots. I think so too. Yeah. Also,
- 36:43Speaker 1: why do you think people are pounding the unders moved
- 36:46Speaker 1: the point and a half? Well, I mean, whether it's
- 36:51Speaker 1: not public money, it's it's mostly sharp guys, whether what,
- 36:55Speaker 1: whether or not the weather? But um bum ha, do
- 37:04Speaker 1: I amuse you what? I'm a clown for your amusement?
- 37:09Speaker 1: Do you think I'm funny? Okay? Philadelphia New Orleans? New
- 37:18Speaker 1: Orleans an eight point favorite? This game open to ten.
- 37:20Speaker 1: A lot of people come in and the Eagles. You
- 37:21Speaker 1: know what I think? What do you think the Nick
- 37:25Speaker 1: Folds story is done? Finished? I didn't know that you
- 37:32Speaker 1: were going to go there, but I thought you're going
- 37:33Speaker 1: the other way completed. I think this is the weekend
- 37:38Speaker 1: Drew Brees and the Saints undressed the Eagles. I think
- 37:44Speaker 1: this is the weekend where you see what would have
- 37:46Speaker 1: happened in the NFC Title Game last year, where the
- 37:49Speaker 1: Saints would have gone to the Super Bowl. And I
- 37:52Speaker 1: am not saying this because the Saints are the only
- 37:54Speaker 1: team I have left alive. Of the nearly dozen teams
- 37:59Speaker 1: I chose to win the Super Bowl. Mhm, I can't
- 38:05Speaker 1: say I agree with you. I just feel like the now,
- 38:10Speaker 1: the Saints obviously have the better defense, but the Eagles
- 38:15Speaker 1: defense has been playing really really well. No, no, no, Scooch.
- 38:22Speaker 1: Here's what the Bears exposed. The Bears did two things
- 38:26Speaker 1: that four things wrong in this game. Okay, you're ready. Yeah.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Number one. Uh, look, not calling the time out on
- 38:35Speaker 1: the goal line costs him some time that could have
- 38:37Speaker 1: gotten some plays that could have gotten closer in the
- 38:39Speaker 1: field goal than the missfield goal obviously blocked, shanked, whatever,
- 38:43Speaker 1: the personal foul on Adams on the Eagles touchdown drive
- 38:49Speaker 1: that gave him a tense six lead um to me,
- 38:52Speaker 1: the biggest thing the Bears ignored Tarik Kone. He's your
- 38:56Speaker 1: best playmaker. This is an Eagles team that could not
- 39:00Speaker 1: up with him. Their defensive backs would not be able
- 39:03Speaker 1: to keep up with him. The first time he touched
- 39:05Speaker 1: the ball, he gained twenty yards. He was targeted three
- 39:08Speaker 1: more times the rest of the game. Then at the
- 39:11Speaker 1: end of the game, he returns the kickoff that that
- 39:14Speaker 1: practically puts them in field position, in field goal position
- 39:16Speaker 1: right um. The rest of the game. He was freaking
- 39:19Speaker 1: ignored he'd lined up in the backfield, like there was
- 39:22Speaker 1: a third and four and they brought in Benny Cunningham
- 39:25Speaker 1: and gave Benny Cunningham the ball, Like why was Tarikon
- 39:29Speaker 1: not Mitch Drubisky's first option on half a dozen more plays?
- 39:33Speaker 1: I think in space, this Eagles team has a really
- 39:37Speaker 1: hard time from a defensive backfield point of view. Also,
- 39:40Speaker 1: I think these defensive backs will not be able to
- 39:43Speaker 1: cover the Eagles receivers. I mean the Saints receivers. Bears
- 39:46Speaker 1: receivers are not very good, and they were getting open
- 39:49Speaker 1: and it wasn't until the second half when this is
- 39:52Speaker 1: the fifth thing, like Mattnege did not give Miss Trubisky
- 39:55Speaker 1: the ball. And this was my issue with the Bears
- 39:56Speaker 1: all year, Like Mr Trubisky was playing great, and there
- 40:00Speaker 1: were too many times this year where Matt Nigi took
- 40:02Speaker 1: the ball out of his hands where they could have
- 40:03Speaker 1: gotten a little bit better field position. A couple of
- 40:05Speaker 1: games they lost and it hurt the Bears. And in
- 40:08Speaker 1: this year, this game, the second half, he was clearly
- 40:11Speaker 1: showing he could throw over the top of this defense
- 40:13Speaker 1: and it was too late. And so you give me
- 40:16Speaker 1: Drew Brees thrown over the top to these receivers against
- 40:19Speaker 1: these defensive backs, and I'm telling you right now, blowout City. Well,
- 40:26Speaker 1: I love the way you've broken down the game. I
- 40:30Speaker 1: still think that the sharp guys are betting this game
- 40:33Speaker 1: under which means it's not going to be as high
- 40:35Speaker 1: scoring or it's not that doesn't figure to be as
- 40:37Speaker 1: high scoring as the general public may think. And I
- 40:40Speaker 1: think with two good defenses going at each other, I
- 40:43Speaker 1: think eight points is is a lot of points. Um.
- 40:47Speaker 1: You know that I agree with a lot of what
- 40:51Speaker 1: you're saying, but I think the value here is still
- 40:53Speaker 1: on the Eagles. My analysis was significantly better than yours.
- 40:58Speaker 1: Yours was was could do this? I could do that.
- 41:03Speaker 1: Mine was tactical and strategic, and it took into account
- 41:09Speaker 1: like everything that happened in the game and then spun
- 41:11Speaker 1: it forward to project into the next round. What did
- 41:16Speaker 1: you do? I did nothing, not just giving you the winner.
- 41:23Speaker 1: So you think it's going to go under two? The
- 41:25Speaker 1: lines moved from fifty one and a half to fifty
- 41:26Speaker 1: and a half. I do, I do. This is gonna
- 41:30Speaker 1: be our chase game, brother, This is gonna be the
- 41:33Speaker 1: game where after I've won all day Saturday and Sunday,
- 41:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna unload on the Saints that what will end
- 41:38Speaker 1: up being like a touchdown and it might come back
- 41:41Speaker 1: to haunt me. What do you think of that? Well,
- 41:48Speaker 1: I know we're gonna need the Eagles, so maybe a
- 41:50Speaker 1: lot of mine is just wishful thinking. Uh. That would
- 41:53Speaker 1: be our our worst case scenarios to have have everything
- 41:59Speaker 1: coming down to this Saints game and have the Saints
- 42:01Speaker 1: and all blowout. That would just cap off a bad
- 42:03Speaker 1: weekend for us. Let's play some scootroo let. All right,
- 42:15Speaker 1: why don't you go first? I feel like you won
- 42:18Speaker 1: last week? Okay? I I had Houston, he had you had?
- 42:25Speaker 1: Oh we both lost. I had Houston. You at Seattle.
- 42:28Speaker 1: I don't remember what number I got. Did I get
- 42:30Speaker 1: a good number? I don't even think we know, but
- 42:34Speaker 1: I think you got it a like I think you
- 42:36Speaker 1: got it well at the time, you just want to
- 42:38Speaker 1: give me a loss anyone we recorded it. I think
- 42:40Speaker 1: we recorded on like a Tuesday, and I think the
- 42:43Speaker 1: number then was like one or one and a half
- 42:45Speaker 1: because I ended up betting the Cowboys at one and
- 42:47Speaker 1: a half or what not. It is where it is, brother,
- 42:52Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, all right, you gotta get
- 42:55Speaker 1: the best of the number. Okay, you definitely didn't get
- 42:59Speaker 1: it at two and a half. No, I know, I
- 43:02Speaker 1: know I didn't get too and a half. All right,
- 43:06Speaker 1: So I'm gonna I'm gonna I like the Cowboys. I
- 43:10Speaker 1: think seven points is a lot against the Rams. I
- 43:13Speaker 1: think the Cowboys defense are stepping up. They're gonna shut
- 43:16Speaker 1: the Rams offense down. We'll shoot. I wanted to take
- 43:20Speaker 1: that seriously, Yeah, I thought you were going to take
- 43:25Speaker 1: the Saints. You just made such a brilliant case for them.
- 43:28Speaker 1: I thought about it. You know what I'm gonna do?
- 43:36Speaker 1: What Chargers. I don't want to do it because I
- 43:39Speaker 1: don't want them to win? Should I do? You don't
- 43:44Speaker 1: want who to win? I don't want the Patriots to win. Okay,
- 43:48Speaker 1: but four is a really tempting number. But you said earlier,
- 43:52Speaker 1: if it goes to three and a half, you you'd
- 43:54Speaker 1: bet the Patriots. So before you like the Patriots at
- 43:58Speaker 1: minus four? Is that it's tempting? That what you're saying.
- 44:00Speaker 1: I guess That's what I'm gonna do. Okay, But I
- 44:03Speaker 1: don't want to root for the Patriots. I got you,
- 44:05Speaker 1: but I gotta make the right gotta making an emotional decision,
- 44:08Speaker 1: so I'm going with the Patriots at minus four. Alrighty,
