- 0:34Speaker 3: Oh, went's bed at nine point thirty and I got
- 0:36Speaker 3: to sleep at four am and work six.
- 0:39Speaker 1: How good? So good? That's good stuff. Have you started
- 0:42Speaker 1: a business or something? I don't know about. No, that
- 0:46Speaker 1: sounds like business sleep. I had my fairst sleep the
- 0:49Speaker 1: other day. I slept from on Saturday night Sunday night.
- 0:52Speaker 1: I went to be at eight thirty and I woke
- 0:54Speaker 1: up at four thirty. Wow, I haven't had anate our
- 0:57Speaker 1: sleep for I couldn't tell you. I couldn't tell you.
- 1:00Speaker 4: Yes, well, I was actually going to have a go
- 1:02Speaker 4: at you guys yesterday because you've influenced me with your
- 1:06Speaker 4: nana naps, right, And I ended up having a nana
- 1:08Speaker 4: nap on Sunday, which I never do.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Why are you so admant that you want everyone to
- 1:13Speaker 3: know you never do It're embarrassed of it.
- 1:15Speaker 2: I just I don't know.
- 1:17Speaker 4: I've never been good at them, for a start, because
- 1:20Speaker 4: I'm way too agitato a creature to sort of have
- 1:23Speaker 4: that nana nap.
- 1:24Speaker 2: I need to be truly fucking naked to have a
- 1:28Speaker 2: nana nap. And so I had a nana nap.
- 1:32Speaker 4: I had a nana nap on Sunday afternoon, and inadvertient
- 1:36Speaker 4: one in the sense that I was watching a bit
- 1:38Speaker 4: of TV and just nodded off and dad nap. Yeah,
- 1:41Speaker 4: like dribbled on myself. And then I woke up about
- 1:44Speaker 4: an hour and a half, maybe nearly two hours later.
- 1:47Speaker 2: My wife was, oh, you were tired, and I was like, oh, ah,
- 1:51Speaker 2: I was.
- 1:52Speaker 4: And then I went to bed sort of normal time
- 1:54Speaker 4: tennis that night. Woke up at three in the morning. Wow,
- 1:57Speaker 4: and I was like, it was the fucking nanan nap.
- 2:00Speaker 1: You've done it there. It's meant to be about twenty minutes.
- 2:02Speaker 1: It's power. It's called a power. Yes, short sharp give
- 2:06Speaker 1: you a little bit of a boost. You can't go
- 2:07Speaker 1: too what are you doing? Well, it's generally because why
- 2:10Speaker 1: are you trying to fix it? For a bogie? He
- 2:13Speaker 1: just wants to complain about it. Fix it.
- 2:16Speaker 4: I don't know if you guys feel Do you feel
- 2:18Speaker 4: better after it?
- 2:19Speaker 2: Because I always feel shit?
- 2:21Speaker 1: Have a short one forty minute, right or something? You
- 2:24Speaker 1: got to set your alarm, yeah, travelers that I generally sit.
- 2:29Speaker 1: You can set your alarm, but then it takes me
- 2:30Speaker 1: ages to fall asleep, so the results may viewy.
- 2:34Speaker 4: Yeah, well I just wax some sleeping drugs at night now,
- 2:37Speaker 4: which seem to help half an hour before I go
- 2:40Speaker 4: to bed.
- 2:40Speaker 1: But drugs, it's pharmaceuticals.
- 2:43Speaker 4: Pharmaceuticals really. Yes, it's called like vigy song or something
- 2:47Speaker 4: like that.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Right, Well, since you do you take that before bed?
- 2:50Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 2:50Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like a to aid sleep.
- 2:53Speaker 1: But is it like like you're taking sleeping pills. No,
- 2:56Speaker 1: it's not as like a for the chemist.
- 2:58Speaker 4: It's not as full on as a sleep. It's just
- 3:01Speaker 4: to aid with sleep. Like I think he may even be.
- 3:05Speaker 4: I know you have to get them prescription.
- 3:09Speaker 1: To those.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Yeah, well I often forget to.
- 3:11Speaker 4: Take them, that's the thing, and then I go, oh, bucky,
- 3:14Speaker 4: I didn't take the vigil. That might be just the
- 3:18Speaker 4: brand or something I don't know, mixed up with vegia soul. Oh,
- 3:22Speaker 4: I know that I do that in the morning when
- 3:24Speaker 4: I wake up. Yeah, I just rub it on there
- 3:27Speaker 4: on my veg Yeah.
- 3:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:31Speaker 4: But I had the classic anxiety dream at about two
- 3:35Speaker 4: o'clock this morning.
- 3:37Speaker 2: And it was on set.
- 3:41Speaker 4: People were talking, and they were talking through the scene
- 3:43Speaker 4: and it was a really big scene of which I
- 3:47Speaker 4: was featuring heavily, and the director was saying something and
- 3:50Speaker 4: I was like, oh, hang on, hang on, can I
- 3:52Speaker 4: have a look at that? And they showed me the
- 3:55Speaker 4: scene and I went, I've got no fucking idea what
- 3:59Speaker 4: that is. And I had big chunks of lines and
- 4:02Speaker 4: I was like, I've got no fucking idea what the
- 4:05Speaker 4: scene is, and they and then they just carried on anyway.
- 4:08Speaker 2: I was like, so.
- 4:09Speaker 4: It's made, and I was like, oh, that's related to
- 4:12Speaker 4: I don't know, hang on.
- 4:14Speaker 2: You know one was listening to me.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Have you ever actually had that happen to you.
- 4:19Speaker 4: I have turned up on more than one occasion and
- 4:22Speaker 4: looked at the sides, which are I think I was
- 4:24Speaker 4: saying yesterday sides? The script just a small version of
- 4:28Speaker 4: the script for the actors. I've turned up to set
- 4:31Speaker 4: before and gone and found discovered a scene that I
- 4:34Speaker 4: haven't learned yet.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Right by accident? You missed it?
- 4:36Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, because I didn't read the fucking thing ride
- 4:39Speaker 4: or something.
- 4:39Speaker 1: And went, ah, fuck, I would hate that.
- 4:42Speaker 4: Fortunately it was when I was young and I could
- 4:45Speaker 4: look at a script and go, Okay, that'll do.
- 4:48Speaker 1: You motivate, that'll do? Just going around this, she's a
- 4:58Speaker 1: different time. I guess I what I should do.
- 5:00Speaker 2: I can bring you in some vigism keys here.
- 5:03Speaker 1: What's funny. I'm just reading about vigie some here. It's
- 5:06Speaker 1: used to improve sleep quality, yes, and morning alertness oh yeah,
- 5:11Speaker 1: and patience over fifty five years of age. So I
- 5:18Speaker 1: don't know where you've got your hands on that stuff. Jase,
- 5:20Speaker 1: did you get your daughter to get you some or something?
- 5:24Speaker 3: The whole Ky Big Show week days from four on
- 5:27Speaker 3: Radio Hiarchy, remember the Wracky Big Show podcast.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Can I ask you a question on that front? Is
- 5:37Speaker 2: it okay?
- 5:38Speaker 1: Oh god, no, it's not, and you know it's not.
- 5:41Speaker 1: But carry on, Like.
- 5:42Speaker 5: If your family gets a prescription for something, yeah, let's
- 5:46Speaker 5: say yeah, Well let's just say trammies and you're going, oh, jeez,
- 5:52Speaker 5: my ankle's rubbing the bill.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Not your ankle, w's the saw from lawn bowl. So
- 5:56Speaker 1: I need a trammy? Man?
- 6:00Speaker 2: Is it okay? If I just pop one of those bastards?
- 6:04Speaker 1: Look, there's nothing I'll be talking about it on ere
- 6:05Speaker 1: jays or on podcasts, right. I certainly wouldn't con I mean,
- 6:09Speaker 1: I wouldn't condainn it.
- 6:10Speaker 2: I was just trying to get your guys.
- 6:12Speaker 1: It's illegal. Why, I imagine, why are you us fingers crossed?
- 6:17Speaker 2: Get your guys view on it.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Why are you to have a packet of trammis?
- 6:22Speaker 2: You know, because it's just I don't know. Sometimes they
- 6:26Speaker 2: go on the old first aid kit. It's a lot
- 6:28Speaker 2: happening in there.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Yeah, there is. I had to do it clean out recently,
- 6:31Speaker 1: sorts of old.
- 6:32Speaker 4: Shit plasters two and sixteen antibiotics.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right.
- 6:38Speaker 2: You know, you're like fucking hell.
- 6:39Speaker 3: I remember saying to the doctor once because I had
- 6:41Speaker 3: a chest in fiction and then it went away with
- 6:44Speaker 3: the first dose of antibiotics. But they gave me like two,
- 6:46Speaker 3: like another week's worth, and then I got it back
- 6:48Speaker 3: again like a two years later. And I have still
- 6:50Speaker 3: got some of those antibiotics. Can I just take them?
- 6:51Speaker 3: And they were like, no, don't expire the expiring that
- 6:55Speaker 3: as effective?
- 6:56Speaker 2: Yeah, do you reckon that's true?
- 6:58Speaker 1: Well, they've got living things and an antibiotic.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Rights to antibody.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Yeah, And so they were like, the as effective, You're
- 7:05Speaker 3: essentially like gonna make yourself immune to those antibiotics because
- 7:08Speaker 3: you have to go get some more, which is a
- 7:10Speaker 3: bad thing.
- 7:12Speaker 2: And the one thing I know about doctors is.
- 7:15Speaker 1: They get as they were warriors.
- 7:17Speaker 4: Jes Yes, they get very shitty if you don't finish
- 7:22Speaker 4: the prescription.
- 7:24Speaker 2: You know, it's like people.
- 7:26Speaker 4: They'll get halfway through and they go, I feel better now,
- 7:28Speaker 4: and they'll stop.
- 7:29Speaker 1: You have to see it through. My doctor just told
- 7:31Speaker 1: me I was all good to see if I had
- 7:33Speaker 1: I had three weeks for some reason for my throat thing,
- 7:37Speaker 1: and you said, if it's all good after two weeks,
- 7:38Speaker 1: you'll be right that before. I think two weeks is
- 7:41Speaker 1: the normal amount.
- 7:43Speaker 3: Maybe he gave you three just in case, because I
- 7:45Speaker 3: was always two weeks whenever I had a chest and fiction,
- 7:48Speaker 3: which was a lot as a good Don't smirk at me, Jason,
- 7:52Speaker 3: what is it's not that funny? I know, I know
- 7:55Speaker 3: that if I wasn't here wheezing, you wouldn't find that funny.
- 8:00Speaker 4: I I went through a stage where I was smashing
- 8:04Speaker 4: the old painkillers quite a lot.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Why lots of lawn bowls.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Yeah, lawn bowls. And I was in a lot of pain, moogie.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Mental.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Head achyky.
- 8:20Speaker 4: And and then I was talking to my bro and
- 8:23Speaker 4: he was like, because he suffered from a lot of
- 8:25Speaker 4: headaches and ship and he's no, he's.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Not a hoidy j.
- 8:31Speaker 4: And he just went I actually reached a point where
- 8:34Speaker 4: I went, Okay, I'm not taking this ship anymore unless.
- 8:37Speaker 2: It's really, really, really bad.
- 8:41Speaker 4: So I took that philosophy too and just stopped taking
- 8:44Speaker 4: Like if I had a bit of a headache, I
- 8:46Speaker 4: just went out, just.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Live with it.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Water what a backbone.
- 8:49Speaker 2: I was such a backbone, man.
- 8:51Speaker 1: But you bitch about it way. I mean, just to
- 8:54Speaker 1: let us know that he's a backbone, you know.
- 8:56Speaker 4: But I know I was just making a point, you know,
- 8:58Speaker 4: I was just telling you a bit of my dream
- 9:00Speaker 4: of school.
- 9:02Speaker 1: He's opening up to us and I appreciate it.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Yeah, so you know, don't over use drugs New Zealand.
- 9:09Speaker 1: That's good stuff from me.
- 9:10Speaker 3: You can't go from asking if you could steal your
- 9:12Speaker 3: family members drugs to say, don't overuse people, won't they don't.
- 9:17Speaker 1: You, man, I wouldn't steal them. No, they'd be free.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Yeah, and then ask them I'd say hey.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Hey, would you say hey, when you go into the doctors,
- 9:26Speaker 3: can you tell them you're like really pay and pain
- 9:28Speaker 3: so that they give you some Trammies and then give
- 9:30Speaker 3: those to me?
- 9:31Speaker 1: Would you say that?
- 9:33Speaker 4: I've never had a training in my life. I know
- 9:35Speaker 4: that's the actually my wife's do. The other night, this
- 9:39Speaker 4: dude was talking to me about Trammys and how they
- 9:41Speaker 4: made them real croc Oh, that's not the story I
- 9:44Speaker 4: wanted to hear nocause other people are like, Oh, it's
- 9:47Speaker 4: like you're on your own little cloud.
- 9:50Speaker 1: You know, Matt. I think Matt Heath was addicted to Tramadole's.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure.
- 9:53Speaker 3: I heard him talk about on the Breakfast podcast a
- 9:55Speaker 3: long time ago. Yes, and he said he didn't do
- 9:56Speaker 3: poohs for like three weeks and he finally did it
- 9:59Speaker 3: and it was like push out a giant pine cone.
- 10:02Speaker 1: And I'm pretty sure that's what it was. And surgery.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Yeah, that's right, because he got hit by a motorbike
- 10:07Speaker 3: when he was filming a thing, and he said, yeah,
- 10:09Speaker 3: I think that's when he decided to stop the pine
- 10:10Speaker 3: cone poos.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Yeah, they know good those pine cone poos. Nor is
- 10:15Speaker 1: this coffee. Listen to The Big Show four or seven
- 10:19Speaker 1: weekdays on Radio Hurdarky. It's good radio, it's good enough.
