- 0:42Speaker 3: We like sloody works everything and listen everything a fashion.

- 0:57Speaker 3: Everybody, welcome to Kats and Pudding. And I'm Jennifer delandro
- 1:01Speaker 3: and we have a really great guest today. Her name
- 1:03Speaker 3: is Lucky Lucky Roberts, and I always say her name wrong.
- 1:07Speaker 3: I call her I want to call her Lucky because
- 1:09Speaker 3: I love that name. And she's here today to talk
- 1:11Speaker 3: about some fashion New York Fashion Week and give us
- 1:14Speaker 3: some tips on what's in and what's hot.
- 1:16Speaker 1: I am so excited to be here. First of all,
- 1:18Speaker 1: I love putting and I love cats. I've been watching
- 1:21Speaker 1: cat videos NonStop. It's been kind of a problem. Actually,
- 1:24Speaker 1: at this point, do you have any cats? You know?
- 1:27Speaker 1: I wish I did, but I can't even take care
- 1:29Speaker 1: of a plant, so at this point or a boy,
- 1:32Speaker 1: so at this point, it's just me, myself and I.
- 1:34Speaker 3: But you are so beautiful. I was just telling you
- 1:37Speaker 3: how gorgeous your eyes are. I mean what, You're just
- 1:40Speaker 3: mesmerizing and all put together.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Well, thank you. I was gonna say the same about you.
- 1:45Speaker 1: And obviously this is why you got into this is
- 1:48Speaker 1: I mean you, I need to know all the tips
- 1:51Speaker 1: and tricks, and I.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Will tell you. I'm gonna tell me you as well.
- 1:54Speaker 1: First I will.
- 1:55Speaker 3: I will you showed me you as I'll show you
- 1:57Speaker 3: mind that kind of thing.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Okay, Well, I don't know if I can tell all
- 2:01Speaker 1: my cards, but we'll see.
- 2:03Speaker 3: We'll see some of them, some best ones, I gotta know.
- 2:08Speaker 3: I love the outfit that you wear and I love
- 2:10Speaker 3: the collar. So what is this?
- 2:12Speaker 1: Thank you? Well, it's it's funny you mentioned this. I
- 2:14Speaker 1: am actually wearing one of the trends of the season,
- 2:16Speaker 1: one of the new trends. If I stand up a
- 2:23Speaker 1: little towirl too, it is okay, you get a you
- 2:27Speaker 1: want to get a big blazer if you want to
- 2:28Speaker 1: sent it in. And then of course one of the
- 2:31Speaker 1: beautiful trends is you know some deck lange and some lace,
- 2:36Speaker 1: some anything a little.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Slutty, kay, slutty okay, So basically slotting, all right, we
- 2:41Speaker 3: like slotty.
- 2:41Speaker 1: We like.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Works everything and listen everything and fashion. I feel like
- 2:46Speaker 3: if the sluttery, the vata, I mean maybe, I'm mean
- 2:49Speaker 3: it works for it works.
- 2:51Speaker 1: We're getting more nude, I gotta say. But we're gonna
- 2:53Speaker 1: get to twenty twenty four and there's gonna be girls
- 2:55Speaker 1: on the street just wearing like, you know, nipples, nipples,
- 2:59Speaker 1: that's it, and that's it.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Do you think that this Do you think that this
- 3:02Speaker 3: generation is is progressive enough in fashion to handle that.
- 3:06Speaker 3: I mean, I really don't think that they have a
- 3:08Speaker 3: good vision sense. I'm sorry, I'm like I look at
- 3:12Speaker 3: them in the street, I'm like, what are you wearing?
- 3:15Speaker 1: Like?
- 3:15Speaker 3: I look like you know, yeahless. When I was a kid,
- 3:17Speaker 3: I used to come to Manhattan with my grandma, and
- 3:19Speaker 3: my grandma was a designer. She used to work for
- 3:21Speaker 3: Henry Benzel. Oh no way, yeah. And I used to
- 3:24Speaker 3: come to the city and I just be like, Wow,
- 3:26Speaker 3: these people are dressed so beautiful. I want to look
- 3:28Speaker 3: like them. And now I come to the city and go,
- 3:31Speaker 3: oh my god, did they just take it out of
- 3:33Speaker 3: like a salvationile and just throw it on the body?
- 3:36Speaker 3: Do you find that?
- 3:37Speaker 1: I gotta say, Well, in New York at this point
- 3:39Speaker 1: post pandemic is kind of like anything goes you know,
- 3:43Speaker 1: you just it doesn't even matter anymore. And I do
- 3:45Speaker 1: think gen Z actually has an interesting pulse on what's happening.
- 3:48Speaker 1: They are taking this whole approach of just I At
- 3:51Speaker 1: first I'd made fun of it because that's what you
- 3:54Speaker 1: have to do, especially as a millennial, right. And then
- 3:56Speaker 1: second I was like, all right, tell me, you know,
- 3:59Speaker 1: I'm trying to understand it. I seek to understand, and
- 4:02Speaker 1: they're just all about embracing every kind of body type,
- 4:05Speaker 1: you know, every every every personality, just anything and everything.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Once I saw that I did understand, but at this
- 4:12Speaker 1: point as a millennial, to be on the street and
- 4:15Speaker 1: to see all, to see everything. I saw somebody to
- 4:20Speaker 1: take in Kuci couch out at fashion Week, and I thought,
- 4:24Speaker 1: good for you.
- 4:25Speaker 3: But you're that you're that bold and you can do it.
- 4:28Speaker 3: I mean, God bless you if you can. But some
- 4:30Speaker 3: things are should be left to the imagination. I think
- 4:34Speaker 3: certain things don't need to be out there. I understand
- 4:37Speaker 3: you want to make a statement, but some things don't
- 4:39Speaker 3: need to be stated exactly exactly.
- 4:42Speaker 1: So that was something I go, is this going to
- 4:44Speaker 1: be an upcoming trend where we're just going to be
- 4:45Speaker 1: dazzle and we're going to be coming to you to
- 4:48Speaker 1: get some filler and then bring it out on the street.
- 4:52Speaker 3: People do come to me do for vaginal rejuvenation? Absolutely,
- 4:56Speaker 3: yes they do.
- 4:57Speaker 1: We'll sign me up. I don't know if I'll be
- 5:01Speaker 1: kat walking on the street with it, but I wink wink,
- 5:04Speaker 1: not not. But that's interesting, is that one of your
- 5:08Speaker 1: a very popular.
- 5:09Speaker 3: It is, but it's expensive, so it just depends on
- 5:12Speaker 3: the person. It helps. Yes, it makes your It makes
- 5:16Speaker 3: your sex drive, increases your sex drive, It helps urinary
- 5:20Speaker 3: incontinence and yes, so, and it also gets makes it
- 5:25Speaker 3: a little bit tighter.
- 5:26Speaker 1: So yeah, these are I can sit here all day.
- 5:31Speaker 3: It's all good things.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Wait a minute, wait a minute, let's forget the rest
- 5:36Speaker 1: of this podcast.
- 5:38Speaker 3: You want to talk about that.
- 5:41Speaker 1: These are the things I did not know. I mean,
- 5:43Speaker 1: I google this stuff all day. But these are some
- 5:46Speaker 1: really good pluses. All right now, All right, gen Z
- 5:48Speaker 1: has it going on. They have it going on, they do.
- 5:51Speaker 3: I think, well, well, we'll see what we're watching. We're
- 5:54Speaker 3: watching with the with the with the watchful eye right now,
- 5:57Speaker 3: and see what goes on. What do you think is
- 5:59Speaker 3: the big trend right now besides slutty slutty cleavage looks
- 6:06Speaker 3: we love, we love we love the slut cleavage looks.
- 6:08Speaker 3: I love it.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Well, we're bringing we're bringing back lots of monochrome. I
- 6:12Speaker 1: think it works always, you know, if you're on off air,
- 6:15Speaker 1: it just always looks put together. What's interesting is, you know,
- 6:18Speaker 1: we're all recovering from the pandemic. We're all you know,
- 6:20Speaker 1: we went from the big and boxy, we went in
- 6:23Speaker 1: I this is still an elastic waste band. And I'm
- 6:27Speaker 1: still going to embrace that because I am aging. But
- 6:31Speaker 1: it is it is something that we're getting back into tailoring,
- 6:35Speaker 1: which is interesting. A little bit of shoulder pad that
- 6:38Speaker 1: right now, that's very eighties.
- 6:40Speaker 3: It's very That was my That was my big hair
- 6:42Speaker 3: shoulder pads, yes, big.
- 6:46Speaker 1: A little bit of nineties ease is what they're calling it,
- 6:48Speaker 1: which I thought was interesting. I love good ease. Eighties
- 6:52Speaker 1: are your favorite.
- 6:53Speaker 3: I probably were my favorite. Then then the nights came,
- 6:56Speaker 3: and then bell bottoms came back into style. Was a
- 6:59Speaker 3: great a bottom, yes, and my sister who was a
- 7:02Speaker 3: teenager in the seventies that I would never put them
- 7:04Speaker 3: back on my body ever again. But everything comes back.
- 7:08Speaker 3: So I just actually bought another pair of bell bottomed jeans,
- 7:10Speaker 3: a little, a little hip hoper because those are coming back.
- 7:13Speaker 1: They are, they are.
- 7:14Speaker 3: It was mom jeans for the last few years, which
- 7:17Speaker 3: I love because the hold your stomach and makes your
- 7:19Speaker 3: ways looks set cinched, which I love one hundred perce
- 7:22Speaker 3: of all right, nothing better than that. But now I
- 7:25Speaker 3: started seeing them starting to roll back down. But the
- 7:28Speaker 3: promise is when I bent over, you always see my my,
- 7:31Speaker 3: you don't g string. So like when you're sitting like
- 7:34Speaker 3: in a chair and you have the hip hoggers and
- 7:36Speaker 3: you're like this and trying to lean over. All you
- 7:38Speaker 3: see is like the g string up up your back.
- 7:40Speaker 3: So you kind of have to we have to figure
- 7:42Speaker 3: out something to put underneath the pants and then if
- 7:44Speaker 3: you wear regular underwear the rest so that's not that
- 7:48Speaker 3: doesn't work. So I think we have to find underwear
- 7:50Speaker 3: that work with hip hoggers. I don't think that they've come,
- 7:54Speaker 3: they've had, they've had anything like that yet, So maybe
- 7:56Speaker 3: you could figure that out. I think that you would
- 7:58Speaker 3: be the person to do that.
- 7:59Speaker 1: I keep trying to tell with gen Z. I'm like, you, guys,
- 8:01Speaker 1: try and bring those lowrider pants back, like we will
- 8:04Speaker 1: literally murder you. I promise you. There is nothing to
- 8:06Speaker 1: be gained from that unless you want to see a
- 8:08Speaker 1: muffin top. That's why the thong song came out. And like,
- 8:11Speaker 1: I guess I'm c yeah, but yeah, I that's a no.
- 8:15Speaker 3: That is a hard unless you have like a hot body.
- 8:17Speaker 3: I'm sorry, and that's maybe not being politically correct, but
- 8:20Speaker 3: I don't. There's just no starting people. You just don't
- 8:22Speaker 3: want to see it on. I mean, we have to
- 8:25Speaker 3: be honest, Yeah, I honestly right.
- 8:27Speaker 1: It would not be gen Z would embrace everything, whereas
- 8:31Speaker 1: I think I might play a little bit safer and
- 8:34Speaker 1: I might try. I don't know that I'll ever get
- 8:35Speaker 1: to a point where I'm wearing a thong with a
- 8:37Speaker 1: sea through dress. Would you do that?
- 8:39Speaker 2: No?
- 8:39Speaker 3: Probably not. Maybe in my twenties I might have, Like
- 8:42Speaker 3: if I was going to Vegas, I might oh, yeah, yeah,
- 8:46Speaker 3: well yeah I would do that. It would It would
- 8:48Speaker 3: depend on the situation where I would do it. But
- 8:50Speaker 3: now probably not because I would think I would frighten
- 8:52Speaker 3: somebody if I did that.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Right now, Well, I say that you and I go
- 8:55Speaker 1: to Vegas and we bring our pudding and bring the cats,
- 8:59Speaker 1: and we should just try some of the trends and
- 9:00Speaker 1: see what kind of feedback we get.
- 9:02Speaker 3: I totally think so. And you know you want to
- 9:04Speaker 3: do the dry strength thing, I doubt.
- 9:06Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 9:07Speaker 3: I don't know if I could deal with that. I
- 9:08Speaker 3: could try, but I might. People might be running out
- 9:10Speaker 3: of the casino if they say mething like that.
- 9:12Speaker 1: They'll be running out for me. I know they have
- 9:15Speaker 1: my ass is concave. So it's just kind of like.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Oh, I also do that too. Oh my god, Yes,
- 9:22Speaker 3: she's getting all the old white safe I'm giving you
- 9:24Speaker 3: all my tips now.
- 9:25Speaker 1: All these offerings. Yes, we're going to get we need
- 9:29Speaker 1: a rundown, a full list of of the of the
- 9:32Speaker 1: services I provide, every single service that I feel like,
- 9:35Speaker 1: not sexual services.
- 9:36Speaker 3: But but but it's a different episode different. It was
- 9:40Speaker 3: an old together bisexual services. I don't have that side anymore.
- 9:46Speaker 3: I don't know if I was just talking to my
- 9:48Speaker 3: last guest about about how how when you're married, and
- 9:51Speaker 3: I was saying that my girlfriend has has seems to
- 9:54Speaker 3: have the biggest house out of all of us on
- 9:55Speaker 3: I said, and I said that it's because she gives
- 9:58Speaker 3: she still gives a husband blowjobs, and that's why she
- 10:00Speaker 3: has this to choose house stell and none of us
- 10:03Speaker 3: give our husbands blow jobs anymore. And hence that's why
- 10:05Speaker 3: I probably haven't had my paves done in the last
- 10:08Speaker 3: you know, three years that I've wanted them done. So
- 10:10Speaker 3: maybe I need to go home and get on that
- 10:12Speaker 3: and maybe I'll get my new pavis.
- 10:13Speaker 1: It's a lot of work. It's like, as one of
- 10:17Speaker 1: my great pals said, he goes because I had, you know,
- 10:21Speaker 1: he was like, Lecky, now you have to learn this,
- 10:25Speaker 1: and you need to learn it right now. Nothing in
- 10:27Speaker 1: life is free, and when he told me that, I
- 10:31Speaker 1: really had to think about it in a certain situation.
- 10:35Speaker 1: So I do think if you did work on that,
- 10:38Speaker 1: there might be some kind of compensation. I have compensation.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Look, my life has become cats and pudding, so definitely
- 10:45Speaker 3: that's why I don't have pays. I think if I
- 10:47Speaker 3: was walking around in STI the Lettls with my g
- 10:49Speaker 3: string on, getting on my knees, maybe I would have
- 10:52Speaker 3: you know, well, we still have t have five thousands
- 10:55Speaker 3: to six thousand square for me now, and I wouldn't
- 10:59Speaker 3: have to buy it myself. Why for me now? Because
- 11:04Speaker 3: that's what's happening in my life? This is why.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Well, I I think it's better that way. Touch work,
- 11:10Speaker 1: Like I tell you, I think it's too much work,
- 11:12Speaker 1: Like what what's he? What's he giving you? Is the question?
- 11:17Speaker 3: Cats and putting he you know he makes listen.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Well, that's actually that's how that's we came.
- 11:22Speaker 3: Up with the name of the show because I was
- 11:24Speaker 3: talking about, you know, how my life has changed so
- 11:26Speaker 3: much now I'm fifty three. Yes, you know, I still
- 11:29Speaker 3: dress fashionably, I still look good for my age. But
- 11:32Speaker 3: my life went from this this party going away fun
- 11:38Speaker 3: events every night to going home and petting my cats,
- 11:41Speaker 3: stroking my cats like doctor Evil, and eating pudding. Now
- 11:44Speaker 3: I'm not talking about putting out of a box. I'm
- 11:46Speaker 3: talking about putting off the stove from a pot hot
- 11:49Speaker 3: with a towel on me, eating it and in front
- 11:51Speaker 3: of the television with the cats sitting on me like this.
- 11:53Speaker 3: That's I'm like, how.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Did this ideal life for me?
- 11:57Speaker 3: I know it is so Honestly, he doesn't. He thinks
- 12:01Speaker 3: that that's enough for me because I seem content at
- 12:03Speaker 3: this point right now with this. But I'm really not
- 12:05Speaker 3: content with it. I just so I think I have
- 12:07Speaker 3: to kind of step up my game so I get
- 12:10Speaker 3: more than putting at night.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Well, I actually, I mean this, this is a goal list.
- 12:16Speaker 1: I want to cats and the pudding. So what stop
- 12:20Speaker 1: at the party? And what what made you decide you've
- 12:23Speaker 1: got You're getting all the juvenation, yes, but at the
- 12:26Speaker 1: end of the day, all the girls, all we really
- 12:28Speaker 1: need is you know, cats in a great snack.
- 12:30Speaker 3: That's true, that's true. But I think because the part
- 12:33Speaker 3: maybe the partners are getting older. I don't know, maybe
- 12:35Speaker 3: he's slowed down, Yes, he slow down, but that's okay. Yeah,
- 12:39Speaker 3: at some point in your life. You have to you know,
- 12:41Speaker 3: you have to go with it. I guess, but I
- 12:43Speaker 3: still want my new payhis sole. Maybe some fashion tips
- 12:46Speaker 3: I can get something from you that could kind of
- 12:49Speaker 3: give him that that push.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Well, I love what you're wearing right now.
- 12:54Speaker 3: This is this going to get menuff.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Well, you're wearing. You're wearing some of the trends to
- 12:59Speaker 1: And I love anything crop anything crop is still happening.
- 13:02Speaker 3: It's so comfortable.
- 13:03Speaker 1: And I love a good sparkle. You will always have
- 13:05Speaker 1: me with a good sparkle.
- 13:06Speaker 3: I love my sparkle. It makes my boobs look bigger too.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Your boobs look. I won't even ask the size, because
- 13:12Speaker 1: that is inappropriate.
- 13:13Speaker 3: But no it's not. You can ask away. I pay
- 13:15Speaker 3: good money for them. You can ask me what you want.
- 13:17Speaker 3: They were a D, they're D. They're a full day. Yeah.
- 13:20Speaker 3: I think they got smaller because I lost weight. Because
- 13:22Speaker 3: when I fluctuate, sometimes they're like a G, like they're
- 13:25Speaker 3: really big and sometimes now you know this size, but
- 13:29Speaker 3: this is a good size. And when my waist is smaller,
- 13:31Speaker 3: my boobs always look bigger.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Well, this is the perfect trend. I mean, this is uh,
- 13:37Speaker 1: everybody's embracing like beautiful curves and with this trend you
- 13:41Speaker 1: can definitely embrace, you know, but we're going back to
- 13:43Speaker 1: the cinched waste you've got. You've got the monochrome happening,
- 13:47Speaker 1: and this is like, this is very like kind of
- 13:50Speaker 1: nineties ease, is what I would say.
- 13:52Speaker 3: But that's what's coming back right now.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Well, we've got some The thing is, I really don't
- 13:57Speaker 1: like to embrace some of like I like to just be.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Because the point is, what was the best style ever?
- 14:03Speaker 3: If some of it was some but not all A
- 14:06Speaker 3: lot a lot of it wasn't like a lot like
- 14:09Speaker 3: the mullet was not a good good mullet. Let's just
- 14:14Speaker 3: throw that out there.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Like the mullet did have its heyday, and I you know,
- 14:19Speaker 1: I like that. It's different. It's you know, it's part
- 14:22Speaker 1: of what is it? You know, pretty in the front,
- 14:24Speaker 1: party in the back. Yes, it did have its heyday.
- 14:26Speaker 1: I mean to me, that's kind of the Maxi skirt
- 14:28Speaker 1: which is coming back in. You guys can embrace it
- 14:31Speaker 1: all you want, gen Z, you can embrace it all
- 14:32Speaker 1: they want. I don't know if I canna be caught
- 14:34Speaker 1: dead in a Maxi skirt, I might I might wear
- 14:36Speaker 1: like a dress with like a top, you know, some
- 14:38Speaker 1: kind of jacket or whatever. But I wouldn't say the
- 14:40Speaker 1: maxi skirts for everyone. Again, like some stuff like the
- 14:43Speaker 1: mullet we could leave behind.
- 14:44Speaker 3: So what about the garunge look? What about like like
- 14:47Speaker 3: the flannel shirts and like remember like the garage band look,
- 14:50Speaker 3: and you know, like the hair went from eighties to
- 14:54Speaker 3: nineties and flat. That's what kind of happened in like overnight.
- 14:58Speaker 3: I consuder like Nirvana, Like there's a video Kaids smells
- 15:02Speaker 3: like teen Spear. Think the hairbands were out and that
- 15:05Speaker 3: was in. So what do you think about that? You
- 15:07Speaker 3: think about that coming back?
- 15:08Speaker 1: I think whether we like it or not, it's happening
- 15:10Speaker 1: on the streets of New York. Like on my way here,
- 15:16Speaker 1: I saw it.
- 15:17Speaker 3: Least you never wearing a flannel shirt again?
- 15:19Speaker 1: Cheers to never wearing a flannel shirt again unless we're
- 15:21Speaker 1: chopping a wood with a man and he's brought us
- 15:25Speaker 1: there and we're not giving the BJ's no one hundred percent,
- 15:30Speaker 1: one hundred percent. But it is back in a big
- 15:32Speaker 1: way of New York. And it doesn't mean that you
- 15:35Speaker 1: should embrace it, but it is happening because a lot
- 15:37Speaker 1: of people are very strung out, you know, so I
- 15:40Speaker 1: feel like that's a trend. But I will say I
- 15:42Speaker 1: do embrace it on my off day. You like to
- 15:44Speaker 1: wear it, but not as in you know, this is
- 15:48Speaker 1: night and day. When I walk out of the house,
- 15:51Speaker 1: it's really bad because I live next to some of
- 15:53Speaker 1: the Vogue offices, and like, if you go in, you
- 15:58Speaker 1: just have to.
- 15:58Speaker 3: Like love those glasses.
- 15:59Speaker 1: You have to do.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Jackie Kennedychio, I don't know if she was with that Jackie. Oh,
- 16:05Speaker 3: she want when she became an unasses, she really want
- 16:08Speaker 3: those big glasses.
- 16:09Speaker 1: They're good hiding glass.
- 16:10Speaker 3: Do you do you wear big? I wear big glasses.
- 16:12Speaker 3: I love big. I'm Italian. I wear everything big, blingy.
- 16:16Speaker 3: Come on, I love the Baby's a gorgeous I wish
- 16:18Speaker 3: I could see a I'm sure they look really good
- 16:21Speaker 3: on me because I like, these are gorgeous glasses. Are
- 16:24Speaker 3: you a big glass of some last person? Because some
- 16:26Speaker 3: people of fashion and then some people are more accessories.
- 16:28Speaker 3: Do you find yourself both or one or the other?
- 16:32Speaker 1: I the bigger, the better this goes about anything. So
- 16:35Speaker 1: that's why I am. You know, you tell me what
- 16:37Speaker 1: I'm going to do next. The bigger the better when
- 16:40Speaker 1: it comes to accessories, you know, sunglasses, shoes, whatever you
- 16:44Speaker 1: want to do to make a statement. I'm I'm always
- 16:47Speaker 1: there for I But yeah, I use these to hide
- 16:50Speaker 1: along with the hat, you know, just so you can
- 16:53Speaker 1: do your grunge and strung out chic looking in the
- 16:56Speaker 1: situation well during the day, sadly, but don't tell anyone
- 17:02Speaker 1: what is your off duty? What do you wear off duty?
- 17:05Speaker 3: No shoes, shorts at a tank top. That's what I'm
- 17:07Speaker 3: always in.
- 17:08Speaker 1: It still sounds a little cheap to me.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I mean, I don't know how chake it is.
- 17:11Speaker 3: When I'm running around the street with no shoes on,
- 17:13Speaker 3: and then I come back into my house. My kids like, Mom,
- 17:15Speaker 3: you better take a shower before you get into bed
- 17:17Speaker 3: with your feet because I'm always I've always seemed to
- 17:20Speaker 3: in the summer of my shoes off. I hate them.
- 17:22Speaker 3: If I didn't have to wear them, I wouldn't. But
- 17:23Speaker 3: I love shoes. I just can't walk in them sometimes.
- 17:26Speaker 3: That's my other problem.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Are you a shoe collector? And do they do they
- 17:30Speaker 1: yell at you like all are Britney spears. Mom, you
- 17:33Speaker 1: know you can't. You can't go shoeless.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Yeah, you can't. Well, they don't like me going shoeless
- 17:38Speaker 3: when I'm walking around, like I said, walking up and
- 17:40Speaker 3: down my block. But I do have a great, great
- 17:42Speaker 3: collection of shoes, but a lot of them I can't
- 17:45Speaker 3: wear them because I can't. They don't. I can't walk
- 17:47Speaker 3: in some of them anymore. I'm some sciences to realize
- 17:49Speaker 3: that now as I'm getting in my shoe, that my shoe,
- 17:52Speaker 3: the heel is getting shorter and shorter. But I mean,
- 17:56Speaker 3: I always say the better, the biggest, the night there's
- 17:59Speaker 3: most uncomfortable shoe always seems to look the best on
- 18:02Speaker 3: I don't know why do you find that to be true.
- 18:05Speaker 1: I am one hundred percent with you and well the
- 18:07Speaker 1: good news for you and I because the older we get,
- 18:10Speaker 1: we thank God we're embracing flats and kitten heel and
- 18:15Speaker 1: I will say, God knows, like if you see us
- 18:19Speaker 1: any anybody on the street. I'm still not a fan.
- 18:23Speaker 1: I still think the bigger, the better, but that is
- 18:25Speaker 1: also a big trend, so the so the kitten heel,
- 18:28Speaker 1: kitten heel, flats and ironically a good boot if you
- 18:31Speaker 1: not the not the street walker boots. I'm still down
- 18:33Speaker 1: the streetwalker.
- 18:35Speaker 3: It's always a good that's always a good look. I
- 18:37Speaker 3: like those behind the high the high boots that the
- 18:40Speaker 3: knee high boots.
- 18:41Speaker 1: So instead of the knee high this season we are
- 18:43Speaker 1: doing below the knee really, which is an interesting an interesting.
- 18:48Speaker 3: I'm uncomfortable sometimes to wear those. Don't you find it?
- 18:51Speaker 3: Like the type of leather it is? I agree with you,
- 18:53Speaker 3: Like I have a pair of Gucci riding boots that
- 18:55Speaker 3: come right up to the knee, and it's so beautiful,
- 18:58Speaker 3: but when I wear them, it's like I feel like
- 19:00Speaker 3: I can't I can't maneuver on them. Like I feel
- 19:02Speaker 3: like if I like trip like I'm not, I'm gonna
- 19:04Speaker 3: probably break my ankle or like crack my kneecap because
- 19:08Speaker 3: there's no manovability and they get right underneath your knee.
- 19:11Speaker 3: So I don't know. They look beautiful but they're on,
- 19:14Speaker 3: but I feel like they're more uncomfortable, like the three
- 19:16Speaker 3: quarter boots.
- 19:16Speaker 1: I guess No, I'm with you on that. It's yeah exactly.
- 19:19Speaker 1: And do you ride or you or no?
- 19:21Speaker 3: I do everything for show everything for sure. Yeah, we
- 19:26Speaker 3: can only say show no go. That's it, the show
- 19:29Speaker 3: no Go. Maybe that's why I don't have the pays
- 19:31Speaker 3: in front of my ass. I told you there's no
- 19:33Speaker 3: go there, that's what happens.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Well, I got to see these boots. These sound like
- 19:36Speaker 1: very like she getting sexy and.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Like, you know, who's your favorite designer, my favorite designer?
- 19:42Speaker 1: You know, I gotta say, I gotta say, well love
- 19:45Speaker 1: an og Oscar de la Renta, but Monse is just
- 19:50Speaker 1: killing it. I think they're doing like an interesting classic
- 19:54Speaker 1: take but very still future Americana. They're the same designers
- 19:58Speaker 1: of Oscar and uh Fernanda Garcia and Kim Toki Bunbun
- 20:04Speaker 1: it's her Instagram name.
- 20:06Speaker 3: She.
- 20:06Speaker 1: I mean, they are just with their deconstructed, you know,
- 20:10Speaker 1: but cool, cool kid esthetic but yet chic upscale. I mean,
- 20:15Speaker 1: I could go on and on, but I.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Think it's asking that's so funny because that's such a
- 20:19Speaker 3: designer that my grandmother was a I totally wort with
- 20:22Speaker 3: him and Bendel. But Oscar de Lorentz are at the
- 20:24Speaker 3: time when I was young, who was such a big name,
- 20:27Speaker 3: and now he's coming back. It's like and a lot
- 20:31Speaker 3: of the kids don't know him as a designer. They
- 20:33Speaker 3: know like you know certain designers. They know Gucci, they
- 20:36Speaker 3: know this but as my kids like who is Oscoal
- 20:39Speaker 3: Dela Renza, like you know, it was like they're like
- 20:40Speaker 3: long lost Italian cousin from like Italy, Like no, no,
- 20:43Speaker 3: he's a designer, guys, and he's they were that. I've
- 20:46Speaker 3: noticed that he's been coming back. So he's a great designer.
- 20:50Speaker 3: I still have some pieces from him too, Yeah, I do.
- 20:52Speaker 3: They're on my attic.
- 20:53Speaker 1: I got to see your closet and we tell me
- 20:55Speaker 1: about your grandmother. She seems like an icon herself.
- 20:58Speaker 3: She my grandmother. She's passed, since passed, but she worked
- 21:02Speaker 3: for Henry. She she's immigrant from came over from Sicily.
- 21:09Speaker 3: She started, she started working, she went. She never not educated,
- 21:14Speaker 3: very small woman though, because she read every day, very political,
- 21:17Speaker 3: very funny. But she she learns how to sell from
- 21:20Speaker 3: an aunt and she just started doing designs and design
- 21:24Speaker 3: patterns and she I think when she was about eighteen
- 21:26Speaker 3: she started working for Hendrew Bendel as a scene sorry
- 21:29Speaker 3: a little bit older than that, maybe like in her
- 21:31Speaker 3: late twenties. Henry Bendela is a seamstress and then she
- 21:36Speaker 3: she yeah, she started working for him. She started then
- 21:40Speaker 3: she had her own her own line and she worked
- 21:43Speaker 3: for Li Claiborne and also big deal worked worked for
- 21:47Speaker 3: Ascar de Laurenta. Yes, that hance. That's why I have
- 21:50Speaker 3: some pieces.
- 21:51Speaker 1: What is it? Remind me of her name?
- 21:53Speaker 3: My grandma's name is Loretta.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Oh, I love I love the Angelo. Yep, Loretta Angelo.
- 22:00Speaker 1: She's got to be I mean, you cannot make it
- 22:01Speaker 1: that far, especially back in the day, unless you were
- 22:03Speaker 1: great with tailoring. You're amazing with I mean, knowledgeable about everything,
- 22:08Speaker 1: so I mean, and especially back in the day, they
- 22:10Speaker 1: would pick people, they would only work with the best.
- 22:13Speaker 3: It's true. She and she also had a couple of
- 22:17Speaker 3: shops on Fifth Avenue. She used to she used to
- 22:21Speaker 3: she had also had a children's clothing shop that she Yeah,
- 22:26Speaker 3: so she was really big into the fashion world. So
- 22:28Speaker 3: I guess that's where I got my love of fashion.
- 22:31Speaker 3: And she was very she was very particular. She always
- 22:34Speaker 3: hated anybody wearing a design's name across their shirt, Like
- 22:37Speaker 3: if she saw us wear on like Tommy Hill figure
- 22:39Speaker 3: or something like that's don't you ever habitaized, it's tacky.
- 22:43Speaker 3: Sheems to say that I was so so tacky. She
- 22:46Speaker 3: hated and she would say, you don't have a lot
- 22:48Speaker 3: of clothes. You just have to have the right pieces
- 22:50Speaker 3: and they're interchangeable, so she would She's always wore joy.
- 22:55Speaker 3: She always was accessed, just dripped with accessories and always
- 23:00Speaker 3: worked whatever she want, whatever she walked. She was really good. Yeah,
- 23:03Speaker 3: she was a natural.
- 23:05Speaker 1: That was just back in the day of like true glamour,
- 23:07Speaker 1: true like just Hollywood classicness of timelessness. You know, they
- 23:12Speaker 1: they really embraced, especially with the tailoring, Like we're never
- 23:15Speaker 1: going to get that today, especially with mass market we
- 23:17Speaker 1: have Zara and everything else, Like we're never going to
- 23:20Speaker 1: get that back.
- 23:20Speaker 3: And it's probably more expensive to even get clothes like
- 23:23Speaker 3: that now one hundred percent. I mean, imagine buying a
- 23:26Speaker 3: suit that's completely tailored to your body right now if
- 23:29Speaker 3: you are having four five on them for any salary,
- 23:33Speaker 3: couldn't have that, right.
- 23:34Speaker 1: You can go to Savile Row and a lot of
- 23:36Speaker 1: the men do that, you know, to get these specific
- 23:38Speaker 1: jackets and they'll have up to ten fittings or more.
- 23:40Speaker 1: But I mean this is true fashion back in the day. Well,
- 23:44Speaker 1: what what a would an icon and a lady to
- 23:46Speaker 1: live up to? And with such history.
- 23:48Speaker 3: I try, but I don't know if I have a gonna,
- 23:52Speaker 3: but I think that you know. I mean I love fashion,
- 23:55Speaker 3: I love the I love you know, certain designs. I
- 23:58Speaker 3: mean when we walked it, I mean I have different favorites.
- 24:02Speaker 3: I mean I do love pieces from Gucci. I love
- 24:04Speaker 3: pieces from ascalz Rena, I love I love pieces from
- 24:08Speaker 3: Henry Bendela. It just depend and I like to mix
- 24:10Speaker 3: and match things, you know. I wish I could afford
- 24:12Speaker 3: to have everything designing in my closet, but certain things
- 24:15Speaker 3: don't fit certain women, you know, and the clothes are
- 24:17Speaker 3: not meet for certain body types. Unfortunately. I know that
- 24:21Speaker 3: in this generation everybody wants to embrace. But Gucci is
- 24:24Speaker 3: not making body tapes for you know, big butts and
- 24:28Speaker 3: big boobs. They just don't. It's a size, you know,
- 24:30Speaker 3: so certain certain designs you can't. You can't wear with
- 24:34Speaker 3: different body types.
- 24:35Speaker 1: I I agree with you. I still think there's a
- 24:36Speaker 1: bit of it, an elitist mentality of this is the
- 24:40Speaker 1: classic fashion style, even though I think a lot of
- 24:42Speaker 1: times they are at least in the direction of portraying
- 24:46Speaker 1: you know that we are embracing. I think there needs
- 24:48Speaker 1: to be a little bit more follow up in all
- 24:50Speaker 1: areas of that behind the scenes. But we know what
- 24:54Speaker 1: we don't know it's true or we we know what's
- 24:57Speaker 1: the wordever the phrase is but no, it's it's I
- 25:01Speaker 1: love love good Gucci pieces. Who but so that was
- 25:03Speaker 1: one of your favorites. Do you have any mass market
- 25:05Speaker 1: brand that you're like excited about or do you do
- 25:07Speaker 1: you shop at Zara?
- 25:08Speaker 3: I do like Zara. I buy certain pieces from Zara.
- 25:11Speaker 3: But I have to tell you I buy a lot
- 25:12Speaker 3: of clothes from different boutiques where I am in Brooklyn
- 25:15Speaker 3: because I have a shop in Brooklyn, So.
- 25:16Speaker 2: I do know.
- 25:17Speaker 3: Yeah, so I so you gotta that's what you're gonna
- 25:20Speaker 3: come in. But yeah, I mean I try. I do
- 25:24Speaker 3: I like things from Machine. I want to say. I
- 25:25Speaker 3: don't want to name names, but I do like some
- 25:28Speaker 3: clothes Machine I do I buy. And it's funny because
- 25:32Speaker 3: I feel like when you do dress well, it doesn't
- 25:34Speaker 3: matter how much something costs. Everybody thinks it's expensive, like
- 25:37Speaker 3: it depends on who is it, though it is to
- 25:40Speaker 3: agree definite could wear a two hundred dollars shirt with
- 25:43Speaker 3: a fight dollar belt and people like, oh my god.
- 25:45Speaker 3: They then like they never store up before, like, oh
- 25:47Speaker 3: my god, this looks so great. I'm like, yeah, I
- 25:49Speaker 3: bought it. In target. Well, like you know, I got
- 25:51Speaker 3: it online somewhere, you know, for ten bucks or whatever
- 25:54Speaker 3: it was. But I guess it just depends on who
- 25:57Speaker 3: wears it. Do feel that way that people could certain
- 25:59Speaker 3: people can hold certain fashions and has that way to accessorise.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Oh, one hundred percent. I think you can. You don't
- 26:07Speaker 1: have to necessarily buy the you know, the fashion designer
- 26:09Speaker 1: designer stuff. I do think it is a lot about
- 26:11Speaker 1: fit and tailoring, and you can get some of these
- 26:14Speaker 1: pieces like I go, I'll go to Zara. The running
- 26:16Speaker 1: joke is the bride will be married in Zara. Is
- 26:20Speaker 1: because you can really, you know, you can get a
- 26:21Speaker 1: lot of just like trendy pieces from there, amongst other places,
- 26:25Speaker 1: and then pull it into your main capsule collections and
- 26:29Speaker 1: you know, you don't really have to invest a lot.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Not not that anybody should be buying this mass market
- 26:34Speaker 1: at this point. As we head into a bit more
- 26:36Speaker 1: of the sustainability, which is also a big trend. I've
- 26:39Speaker 1: been shopping a lot more on Poshmark and any of
- 26:42Speaker 1: the resale sites. But that's where you can get you know,
- 26:44Speaker 1: Warren fashion, but a bit elevated at the price you would.
- 26:47Speaker 3: Like are you always are you always dressed? I mean,
- 26:51Speaker 3: what do you what kind of clothes when you're not
- 26:53Speaker 3: wearing your when you're not dressed, what kind of clothes?
- 26:56Speaker 3: Would you eduate something from garage? Would you as something
- 26:59Speaker 3: from you know, give me give me your go to brand?
- 27:03Speaker 3: Like you if you're gonna wear a pair of shorts
- 27:04Speaker 3: and you know, go jogging or whatever, what would you
- 27:07Speaker 3: where would you buy that from?
- 27:09Speaker 1: Like I said, this is this is tell nobody. It's
- 27:14Speaker 1: to the point where you know, you just go to
- 27:15Speaker 1: your local. It was like I say, Starbucks or something,
- 27:19Speaker 1: and the people that work there, they look at you
- 27:20Speaker 1: without makeup or you know, you've got your sunglasses on.
- 27:23Speaker 1: They have no idea who you are. Because it's not bad.
- 27:26Speaker 3: It's I will I will wear like I don't think
- 27:29Speaker 3: you could ever look bad. I'm sorry. I think if
- 27:31Speaker 3: you wore a garbage bag, you would look beautiful in it.
- 27:34Speaker 3: I'm sorry you would. That's very kind, You're very kind.
- 27:37Speaker 3: I mean, well vice versa. Thank you.
- 27:39Speaker 1: But I don't we should try that trend too, and
- 27:43Speaker 1: keep away from the mullet. We should try the mullet.
- 27:47Speaker 3: Bet you we thought that drug back. I don't know
- 27:49Speaker 3: if I'd ever want to do that.
- 27:50Speaker 1: But let's go to Vegas and let's try the slutty one.
- 27:54Speaker 1: The slutty one'll do the trash bag and the trash back,
- 27:57Speaker 1: all right, and then nobody will see us. And then
- 27:59Speaker 1: if we feel like bringing any of it back.
- 28:01Speaker 3: Then we can bring it back here and we can,
- 28:03Speaker 3: you know, start our own life.
- 28:04Speaker 1: I'm in, I'm in.
- 28:05Speaker 3: I'm in with you guys, all right, so nice to
- 28:08Speaker 3: me you too. I had a great time, and thank
- 28:11Speaker 3: you for all your input and you are beautiful and
- 28:14Speaker 3: I hope you come back again.
- 28:15Speaker 1: I had the best time chatting.
- 28:16Speaker 3: Thank you, Thank you for having everybody have a great day.
- 28:18Speaker 3: And this was my beautiful new friend.
- 28:22Speaker 1: Thank you so much. You're so good.
