Don't get me wrong, I FELT this man's pain. It was heavy for sure. And I don't wish that on anyone. That doesn't change how you respond, though. The heavier the moment, the stronger the mental response you need. You see, in the end, people won't remember where you were. They will only SEE what your response leads to in the long run. Do you want to chase the pity party for the rest of your life? Or do you want to have an incredible story that will inspire someone who will go through the same thing later? I know I'll hear from him in a few months and hear how he's turning this into his future…
