- 0:05Speaker 1: Welcome to Just the Cats with Michael Bennett. Hello, Big
- 0:12Speaker 1: Blue Nation. Welcome to Just the Cats. My name is
- 0:16Speaker 1: Michael Bennett on this Tuesday, October 6th. Another absolutely beautiful
- 0:21Speaker 1: day here in Louisville, Kentucky. On the chilly side, but man,
- 0:25Speaker 1: the moon was out. There was some kind of star.
- 0:27Speaker 1: I don't know what it was. Justin, good morning. Good morning.
- 0:30Speaker 1: How are you doing today? I'm fantastic. Good. If you
- 0:32Speaker 1: want to give us a call, 502-384-1450. You want to
- 0:35Speaker 1: text us on the Whiskey Thief text line, you can
- 0:37Speaker 1: do that, 502-414-1450. Or you can tweet me at Just
- 0:41Speaker 1: The Cat Radio. So I'm walking out to my car
- 0:43Speaker 1: this morning at my home, and I see the moon
- 0:46Speaker 1: up there, and there was a really bright star above it.
- 0:50Speaker 1: right next to it. I don't think it was above it,
- 0:53Speaker 1: was it? I thought it was like below it. When
- 0:55Speaker 1: I was driving in, it was above it. Okay, well,
- 0:57Speaker 1: this is an hour later. Yeah. So maybe now it's
- 1:00Speaker 1: below it. Well, did you still have the thin stripe
- 1:04Speaker 1: of moon at the bottom?
- 1:05Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Kind of like it was a smile? Yes.
- 1:07Speaker 3: So when I saw it, the star was above the
- 1:11Speaker 3: moon because the whole time here, and I don't know
- 1:15Speaker 3: if it correlates or not, but the whole time here
- 1:17Speaker 3: after seeing that, I sang that stupid one-eyed, one-horned, flying
- 1:22Speaker 3: purple people eater. I don't know why that's the first.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Thing that came to my head. I don't either. What
- 1:26Speaker 1: a horrible song. I sang it all the way here.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Did you really? I did. Because of the moon and
- 1:31Speaker 1: that star. Because, you know, that's not a star. It's
- 1:34Speaker 1: a planet. It is. It has to be. I just
- 1:36Speaker 1: don't know what planet it is. I could probably find out. Really?
- 1:39Speaker 1: My son has an app to where you pull it
- 1:42Speaker 1: up on his phone and point it up. I've got that, too.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Oh, you do?
- 1:44Speaker 1: Yeah. I just didn't break it out while I was driving. Oh,
- 1:46Speaker 1: you didn't?
- 1:46Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:47Speaker 1: I would have liked to have known what that is.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Is it Jupiter? Is it Mars? Is it Saturn? I
- 1:52Speaker 1: don't know. Can you name all the planets, by the way? Yeah.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Can you really? Absolutely. Good for you. It was Jupiter.
- 2:00Speaker 1: It was Jupiter, so I was close. Can you not
- 2:03Speaker 1: name all the planets? I don't think. All right. Jupiter, Saturn, Mars. Seriously?
- 2:15Speaker 2: Earth.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Okay. I'll give you credit for Earth. Neapolitan. I'm kind
- 2:22Speaker 1: of stuck there. I don't know. You can.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Neptune, Mercury, Venus, Pluto, if you want to count Pluto,
- 2:29Speaker 3: which I do.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Yeah, of course you should. Don't tell me it's not
- 2:32Speaker 1: a planet. It's a planet. It's been a planet all
- 2:34Speaker 1: my life. Go ahead. I can't believe you couldn't name
- 2:36Speaker 1: them all. Is that all of them? I think we
- 2:38Speaker 1: named them all.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I have no idea.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Uranus?
- 2:40Speaker 1: Oh, we didn't say Uranus. Oh, my goodness. Yeah. Uranus. Yeah.
- 2:44Speaker 1: There you go. That's all eight. Who came up with
- 2:47Speaker 1: that name, by the way? Were they laughing when they
- 2:49Speaker 1: came up with that name of that planet?
- 2:51Speaker 3: Back then when they made it, there wasn't juveniles everywhere.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Yes, there were. They wanted to act like they're nine
- 2:58Speaker 1: years old. You think the 20th century, oh, we need juveniles,
- 3:01Speaker 1: and that's when it came. You don't think back then
- 3:03Speaker 1: in those days they had juveniles? Come on. Yeah, they did.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Do you know when they named that planet? What would
- 3:10Speaker 1: be your guess? I would say probably like the 5600s. Actually,
- 3:17Speaker 1: way later.
- 3:21Speaker 3: I'm later yeah 1782.
- 3:25Speaker 1: I would have never said the 1700s and it was
- 3:28Speaker 1: done by a german astronomer so maybe it was juvenile
- 3:31Speaker 1: okay so there you go it was yeah we're just
- 3:33Speaker 1: gonna say it was a juvenile uh but that's really
- 3:36Speaker 1: interesting all right uh you know uh by the way
- 3:39Speaker 1: if you want to watch this we're on youtube you
- 3:41Speaker 1: can just look up uh big x sports radio louisville
- 3:44Speaker 1: and you'll see us on the uh on the screen
- 3:46Speaker 1: right there. So you can do that if you want.
- 3:47Speaker 1: So I try to remind everyone of that every time.
- 3:50Speaker 1: You do a really good job of it. I forget
- 3:52Speaker 1: about it. And which, I don't know, is it a
- 3:56Speaker 1: big deal that people come on i don't know.
- 3:58Speaker 3: I only do a really good job of it because
- 4:00Speaker 3: it gives me a little extra content oh is.
- 4:02Speaker 1: That oh come on the only reason you do it
- 4:05Speaker 1: is for content that's.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Terrible something to discuss for a minute okay whatever fuel
- 4:11Speaker 3: your drive with i mean i'm drinking a mcdonald's iced
- 4:13Speaker 3: tea so fuel your drive with a mcdonald's iced tea
- 4:16Speaker 3: brought to you by youtube really wish you'd have brought
- 4:18Speaker 3: me one i walked in oh really i was like
- 4:19Speaker 3: holy smokes that looks.
- 4:21Speaker 1: I'm so sorry. Oh, so you want an unsweet iced tea? Sweet, unsweet,
- 4:25Speaker 1: it don't matter to me. It does not? Okay, yeah.
- 4:27Speaker 1: When I switched over from sweet to half and half,
- 4:30Speaker 1: now to unsweet, it's been a tough go. It has.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Unsweet's hard to get used to. It is. It's very refreshing.
- 4:38Speaker 1: I like it. I mean, I prefer lemon with it,
- 4:41Speaker 1: but yeah, I just can't get off. I went from
- 4:45Speaker 1: Coke to Diet Coke, and I can't get off the
- 4:48Speaker 1: Diet Cokes. I'm addicted to Diet Cokes.
- 4:50Speaker 3: When we went out to eat on Saturday, my nine-year-old
- 4:53Speaker 3: nephew was drinking Diet Coke.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Really?
- 4:56Speaker 3: It's like, why are you drinking diet? Stay off the sugar.
- 4:59Speaker 3: He was like, I like it. I was like, when
- 5:00Speaker 3: I was your age, give me.
- 5:02Speaker 1: All the sugar. Oh, yeah, I know. Listen, I had
- 5:05Speaker 1: a root beer float for the first time last weekend.
- 5:08Speaker 1: In a long time. What spurned that on? I just,
- 5:12Speaker 1: because we went to this restaurant, really good restaurant in Linden.
- 5:16Speaker 1: And it was kind of like a mom and pop
- 5:18Speaker 1: place called The Goose. And it was, I'm not kidding,
- 5:24Speaker 1: it was fantastic. It was like a meat and three
- 5:29Speaker 1: type place. And I got the fried chicken. I went
- 5:33Speaker 1: all out. And then the lady came back and says,
- 5:35Speaker 1: would y'all like dessert? And my wife said, yes, we
- 5:39Speaker 1: want dessert tonight. And I'm like, okay, we'll splurge. So
- 5:43Speaker 1: she wanted the brownie and vanilla ice cream on top.
- 5:48Speaker 1: And then when she went down to the bottom of
- 5:51Speaker 1: the list, She said they have a root beer float.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Patricia looked at me and says, Michael, you have to
- 5:55Speaker 1: get a root beer float. And I'm like, okay.
- 5:57Speaker 3: But did you want to or she just kind of
- 5:59Speaker 3: made you?
- 6:01Speaker 1: No, she kind of made me, but I was weak.
- 6:03Speaker 1: I mean, are you kidding? I wanted one. It had
- 6:05Speaker 1: been so long. But the sugar really got to me,
- 6:08Speaker 1: especially in the root beer. Oh, my gosh, it was
- 6:10Speaker 1: so sweet. But I enjoyed every second of it. Wasn't
- 6:13Speaker 1: enough ice cream, so goosebumps. Please put a little more
- 6:16Speaker 1: ice cream in your root beer float. It's good for
- 6:18Speaker 1: the goose. It's good for the gamble. Oh, my goodness.
- 6:21Speaker 1: You're so right about that. Now, you know, I told
- 6:24Speaker 1: you before we went on air, people are still going nuts.
- 6:29Speaker 1: And it's not just UK fans. There was an older
- 6:32Speaker 1: gentleman that was yelling into the camera as he did
- 6:36Speaker 1: some kind of post that he tweeted out, going through
- 6:40Speaker 1: all the teams in the top 25. That should and
- 6:44Speaker 1: should not be there. And I mean he went on
- 6:47Speaker 1: for a while. It was actually really good. Other than
- 6:49Speaker 1: him just consistently yelling. For the entire five minutes that
- 6:53Speaker 1: he did this post. And at the bottom. He had Kentucky.
- 6:59Speaker 1: And I mean, he went nuts. The fact that Kentucky
- 7:03Speaker 1: was in the week before the AP poll, and then
- 7:06Speaker 1: this week they're completely out of it. It's not just
- 7:09Speaker 1: UK fans that are talking about that. It seems like
- 7:11Speaker 1: it's a lot more people outside of the fan base,
- 7:14Speaker 1: Big Blue Nation, than it is inside the fan base,
- 7:19Speaker 1: which I'm kind of surprised about. And I have never
- 7:22Speaker 1: heard so much complaining about a poll before. Until this year.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Polls this year have just gone. And I know everybody's saying,
- 7:31Speaker 1: just don't worry about it anymore. But it is fascinating
- 7:34Speaker 1: to me, Justin. I don't think I've heard people complain
- 7:37Speaker 1: about polls more than this year than they ever have
- 7:41Speaker 1: in my lifetime.
- 7:43Speaker 3: I don't think in past weeks, you've heard rumblings about it,
- 7:47Speaker 3: but I don't think in past weeks you had as
- 7:50Speaker 3: many people talking about it as you have this week.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Because it feels like there's so many things that are
- 7:56Speaker 3: egregiously wrong with the poll this week. I mean, whether
- 7:59Speaker 3: it's Kentucky dropping out, whether it's Mississippi State only dropping
- 8:04Speaker 3: one spot. I mean, there's just a number of things
- 8:06Speaker 3: that you can point to with this poll that upset
- 8:08Speaker 3: a lot of people.
- 8:09Speaker 1: And I don't.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Like I said, there have been rumblings in past weeks,
- 8:13Speaker 3: but I don't think it's ever been this loud as
- 8:15Speaker 3: it's been this week.
- 8:16Speaker 1: I mean, you look at Indiana. They didn't even play
- 8:20Speaker 1: last weekend, did they? Indiana? Yeah. Yeah. Or they did? Okay.
- 8:24Speaker 1: And they drop a spot. Yeah. Beat them by 32.
- 8:28Speaker 1: How do you do that? And they go down to seven.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Honestly, I didn't really have a problem with that one
- 8:32Speaker 3: because the team they got jumped by was Alabama, who
- 8:35Speaker 3: slaughtered Mississippi State.
- 8:38Speaker 1: I was ultimately fine with that. Missouri to go up
- 8:41Speaker 1: 11 spots. I mean, really? Do you see what they
- 8:44Speaker 1: did to Florida? I don't have a problem with that either.
- 8:47Speaker 1: I see. I do. Not that much. They should go
- 8:49Speaker 1: up 11 spots. It's not deserved. Florida dropping eight spots.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I mean, I guess I don't have that much of
- 8:57Speaker 1: a problem with it, but there are just too many
- 9:01Speaker 1: up there that I thought were a little on the
- 9:03Speaker 1: ridiculous side in the fact that you got Houston, Boise
- 9:07Speaker 1: state SMU and Pittsburgh in there, Pittsburgh jumps 11, seven
- 9:11Speaker 1: spots to get to 25 and UK drops out. They're undefeated.
- 9:15Speaker 1: UK drops out. I mean, and the fact that North
- 9:19Speaker 1: Carolina was close in the game with Notre Dame and
- 9:23Speaker 1: Notre Dame doesn't drop at all. I think maybe they
- 9:28Speaker 1: should have dropped a spot or two. I think they
- 9:30Speaker 1: should drop completely out or is, Maybe North Carolina is
- 9:34Speaker 1: better than we're thinking they are. I think Notre Dame,
- 9:37Speaker 1: and this is the bias coming out. I really believe
- 9:43Speaker 1: Notre Dame should be around 15 or 16. I mean,
- 9:47Speaker 1: they might be when they lose a couple games. Well,
- 9:49Speaker 1: hopefully so. Hopefully they drop. But, you know, it's crazy.
- 9:52Speaker 1: The media loves Notre Dame. There There are certain teams
- 9:56Speaker 1: the media loves. OK, I think Texas is one of them.
- 10:00Speaker 1: I think Notre Dame is the other. And I think
- 10:02Speaker 1: Miami is the other one. Plus Alabama. I think those
- 10:06Speaker 1: are the four teams nationwide that the media just does
- 10:11Speaker 1: not want to get rid of out of the top 10.
- 10:14Speaker 1: What do all four of those have in common? History
- 10:18Speaker 1: of winning? Exactly. They are college football.
- 10:22Speaker 3: I mean, when you think about college football and how
- 10:24Speaker 3: it was built and who was the teams coming up
- 10:28Speaker 3: and proving themselves as the top dogs, it's all for them.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Well, this is where I get to a point where
- 10:36Speaker 1: I think strength of schedule should mean something. And if
- 10:41Speaker 1: your strength of schedule is fairly weak, then you should
- 10:45Speaker 1: not be allowed to be ranked in the top ten. Yeah,
- 10:51Speaker 1: I mean, that. And maybe you make the strength of
- 10:53Speaker 1: schedule the rank. No. Why not? Because, I mean, you're
- 10:57Speaker 1: going to punish teams for. That's their fault. No, it's
- 11:00Speaker 1: not their fault. They can't control their schedule. Yeah, they can.
- 11:04Speaker 1: They can control their schedule.
- 11:05Speaker 3: They can control their non-conference, but they have zero control
- 11:08Speaker 3: over the conference schedule.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Stop scheduling games years ahead of time. The schedule should
- 11:13Speaker 1: be made up a year.
- 11:16Speaker 3: You know how stressful that is if you're making a
- 11:18Speaker 3: schedule on a year-to-year basis?
- 11:20Speaker 1: That is not my problem at all. Yeah, but you're
- 11:24Speaker 1: making it somebody else's problem. But you look at basketball.
- 11:28Speaker 1: The schedule is lined up just a few months before
- 11:31Speaker 1: the season starts. Is it not? Yes. I mean, yeah. Okay.
- 11:38Speaker 1: That's a lot more games. It is. Basketball is a
- 11:41Speaker 1: lot more games. So to ask football to do the
- 11:44Speaker 1: exact same thing is not that much to ask. It's
- 11:47Speaker 1: a lot fewer games. So I just don't think it's
- 11:52Speaker 1: that big of a deal. If you want me to
- 11:55Speaker 1: respect these teams that are up here that are ranked
- 11:59Speaker 1: in the top five, I don't really respect Notre Dame,
- 12:04Speaker 1: and I don't really respect Miami. Ohio State, Alabama, Indiana, absolutely.
- 12:10Speaker 1: How can you not respect Miami, I guess, is my question.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Who have they really played this year? I don't know
- 12:15Speaker 1: their schedule.
- 12:17Speaker 3: I mean, I don't know that they've done anything all
- 12:19Speaker 3: that impressive this year, but they just played for a
- 12:21Speaker 3: title last year. So, obviously, if you play for a
- 12:25Speaker 3: title the year before, you're going to be ranked highly
- 12:27Speaker 3: at the start of the next year. But if you
- 12:30Speaker 3: look at that Miami team and watch them play, that's
- 12:34Speaker 3: a fun team. I mean, Malachi Toney, you got whatever
- 12:38Speaker 3: Mensah's first name is from Duke. They put up some
- 12:42Speaker 3: really big numbers this year.
- 12:43Speaker 1: They're a lot of fun to watch.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Okay.
- 12:45Speaker 1: All right, then. Well, maybe I'll respect them a little more.
- 12:47Speaker 3: You've got to bias against them because they play in
- 12:51Speaker 3: the ACC.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Absolutely, I do. Because I think ACC is the weakest
- 12:54Speaker 1: football conference in the country. I think that for basketball
- 12:57Speaker 1: as well. And I don't know that anybody disagrees with that.
- 13:00Speaker 1: And it's got to change. And they've got to figure
- 13:03Speaker 1: a way. All these teams do. I get tired of
- 13:06Speaker 1: Kentucky being forced to play one of the most difficult
- 13:09Speaker 1: schedules in the country. And all these other teams get
- 13:13Speaker 1: ranked up there. They lose one game and they're still
- 13:16Speaker 1: ranked up there. If Kentucky loses another game, they're going
- 13:18Speaker 1: to be so far down the list and being ranked again.
- 13:21Speaker 1: It's just they don't have a chance. I just want
- 13:25Speaker 1: it fair. Keep winning. It'll all take care of itself. Well,
- 13:28Speaker 1: you're right about that. And it's going to be a
- 13:30Speaker 1: tough game this weekend. The things that bother me that
- 13:34Speaker 1: I'm a little concerned about with UK is their third
- 13:38Speaker 1: down offense. I mean.
- 13:42Speaker 1: They ranked dead last in college football with 13 third
- 13:46Speaker 1: down conversions on 53 attempts. That's 24% right there. That's
- 13:51Speaker 1: not good. That's not good at all. And the, the
- 13:54Speaker 1: average distance they gained on third down is six, six yards.
- 13:59Speaker 1: That scares me. That's 19th best in the country, but
- 14:03Speaker 1: it scares me. Third down defense is not any better either. Uh,
- 14:09Speaker 1: Kentucky is allowing opponents to convert on, are you ready
- 14:13Speaker 1: for this? Just under 46% of the time. That ranks
- 14:16Speaker 1: 122nd overall and last in the SEC. Those are two things.
- 14:25Speaker 1: I mean, you want to start playing with the big boys.
- 14:28Speaker 1: You want to start winning those games. Those are two
- 14:30Speaker 1: things right there Kentucky has to work on right now.
- 14:34Speaker 1: And I guarantee you, Will Stein, he definitely knows these numbers. Oh,
- 14:38Speaker 1: on the inverse of that, look at those numbers all
- 14:41Speaker 1: you want. You're 4-1. Well, you're right.
- 14:44Speaker 3: So while they're not good. You're still finding ways to
- 14:48Speaker 3: win despite them.
- 14:50Speaker 1: But if I had told you this and you didn't
- 14:52Speaker 1: know anything about Kentucky and you heard that third down
- 14:56Speaker 1: offense is one of the worst in the country and
- 14:58Speaker 1: their third down defense is one of the worst in
- 15:01Speaker 1: the country, would you think they were four and one?
- 15:05Speaker 1: Absolutely not. See, me neither. I mean, that's the part
- 15:10Speaker 1: I just like, wow, this is fantastic. But the other part,
- 15:15Speaker 1: punting has been a bit of a struggle. They are
- 15:18Speaker 1: second to last in punting, 40 yards per punt. Now,
- 15:23Speaker 1: the one thing that they are doing is ball, taking
- 15:28Speaker 1: control and job security to the ball. They don't have
- 15:31Speaker 1: many turnovers this year. Kentucky has forced 10 turnovers, which
- 15:36Speaker 1: is ninth nationally. And Kenny Minshew, we talked about this yesterday,
- 15:41Speaker 1: has only thrown one interception through five games. That's an
- 15:46Speaker 1: amazing stat to me for a guy that's never started
- 15:50Speaker 1: in football for a team in his life until he
- 15:54Speaker 1: came to Kentucky. In college football, I should say. So,
- 15:58Speaker 1: I mean, UK rushing yards, the Wildcats are sixth in
- 16:01Speaker 1: the league. With 187 yards per game between C.J. Baxter
- 16:05Speaker 1: and Jason Patterson, who rank eighth and ninth in the SEC, respectively.
- 16:09Speaker 1: I mean, that's really good.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Kentucky is among the best of the best, ranking number
- 16:15Speaker 1: fourth in the FBS at 52% of getting rushing efficiency.
- 16:23Speaker 1: I mean, there has to be.
- 16:25Speaker 3: If you're going to throw out bad stats like the
- 16:27Speaker 3: third down, there's obviously going to be good stats elsewhere
- 16:30Speaker 3: to make up.
- 16:31Speaker 1: There are. And that's what it has to be. You
- 16:34Speaker 1: have to have the good stats to go with those
- 16:35Speaker 1: bad stats. I mean, they got the top tacklers in
- 16:40Speaker 1: the SEC between Grant Godfrey and Jordan Castell. Both. have
- 16:46Speaker 1: 42 tackles, tied for fourth in the SEC. And Ty
- 16:51Speaker 1: Bryant's right behind them, tied seventh with 38 tackles. And
- 16:55Speaker 1: then here's the other. This is probably the stat I
- 16:57Speaker 1: love the most. It's the tight end production. The Wildcats'
- 17:02Speaker 1: top three tight ends have combined to catch 37 passes
- 17:07Speaker 1: for a 400 yards and five touchdowns. They've been awesome.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Where have they been? I mean, why didn't Kentucky use
- 17:17Speaker 1: them a long time ago? Same guys they had. I know.
- 17:20Speaker 1: And for the life of me, I don't get it.
- 17:23Speaker 1: But reading those stats, okay, yeah, we're struggling on a
- 17:28Speaker 1: couple of stats there. The third down offense, the third
- 17:30Speaker 1: down defense. I think that can be corrected. Yeah, but
- 17:35Speaker 1: even if it's not, you've got enough to counterbalance that. Yeah,
- 17:39Speaker 1: and they keep creating turnovers. UK has created so many turnovers.
- 17:44Speaker 1: And that's been a big game difference maker for them
- 17:47Speaker 1: as well. It's just, it's made it fun. Okay. UK
- 17:51Speaker 1: football is fun again. Now, how do I feel about
- 17:55Speaker 1: this game this weekend? Honestly, I don't know how to
- 18:00Speaker 1: feel about it. I mean, I think 10 point spread
- 18:04Speaker 1: is a bit of a stretch. I mean, but you
- 18:07Speaker 1: don't think so, do you? No, I think it seems
- 18:10Speaker 1: about right. You do? Okay. All right. Because three-point last weekend,
- 18:14Speaker 1: and UK ends up winning by one point. Now it's
- 18:21Speaker 1: ten points against LSU, and they're bringing out the old
- 18:26Speaker 1: Power K, which I love. Wait, they are? Oh, yeah.
- 18:28Speaker 1: They're wearing it this weekend. That's all I have seen
- 18:30Speaker 1: for three freaking days. What do you mean? On Twitter,
- 18:35Speaker 1: on Facebook. That's why you're seeing it. They're wearing it.
- 18:38Speaker 1: That's all anybody is posting about. Isn't that awesome? Gotta
- 18:41Speaker 1: get my Power K gear together. Well, and they should.
- 18:45Speaker 1: It's just, I mean, I don't know. We're three days
- 18:48Speaker 1: in and I'm already over it. Oh, come on. They
- 18:51Speaker 1: haven't worn it since 1991. It's time to bring it back.
- 18:56Speaker 1: I get it. It's cool for you all, and I'm
- 18:58Speaker 1: glad that you're enjoying it.
- 18:59Speaker 3: But as a non-Kentucky fan, it's just exhausting continuing to
- 19:04Speaker 3: see the Power K everywhere.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:05Speaker 3: Okay.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Well, I'm sorry you feel that way. I'm exhausted from
- 19:09Speaker 1: seeing the candy stripes on certain basketball teams. So there
- 19:13Speaker 1: you go. Too bad you never have to see them
- 19:15Speaker 1: because we're never on TV because we saw them. Well,
- 19:16Speaker 1: that's true. I'm so sorry to bring that up. Maybe
- 19:20Speaker 1: they should wear them on the football team, okay? They
- 19:22Speaker 1: wear the warm-ups when they come out to get ready
- 19:24Speaker 1: for the game. Maybe not. All right, then. Let's go
- 19:29Speaker 1: ahead and take our first break.
- 19:30Speaker 2: 502-384-1450.
- 19:31Speaker 1: You want to call in 502-414-1450. You want to text
- 19:34Speaker 1: in on the Whiskey Thief text line, or you can
- 19:37Speaker 1: tweet me at JustTheCatRadio. What is one particular fast food
- 19:44Speaker 1: restaurant doing that, All these other ones are not going
- 19:47Speaker 1: to be doing. We'll talk about that. Plus, we got
- 19:50Speaker 1: some games that are tickets are available for basketball. We'll
- 19:55Speaker 1: talk about that as well. And what bowl games are
- 19:58Speaker 1: they predicting for UK football? That's going to be some
- 20:01Speaker 1: fun talk because there's one in particular. I will have
- 20:04Speaker 1: to say if they can make that one, I'm real
- 20:06Speaker 1: excited about. Stay right there. We got a lot more.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Just the cats coming right up.
- 20:10Speaker 4: We'll see you next time. Don't they make a country
- 20:47Speaker 4: version of this song?
- 21:14Speaker 2: They do.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Yeah, and it has a girl singing with him. It does. Yeah.
- 21:20Speaker 1: What's the name of that young lady that's singing with him?
- 21:22Speaker 1: Jennifer Nettle. Okay. She has a pretty voice. She does. Yeah.
- 21:26Speaker 1: I like that. Listen, I'm not a big, you've heard
- 21:29Speaker 1: me talk about it. I'm not a big Bon Jovi fan,
- 21:31Speaker 1: but I like him. I mean, I really like that guy.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Somebody posted a video of him not long ago. Remember
- 21:39Speaker 1: where he was walking on a bridge and noticed somebody
- 21:42Speaker 1: that was going to jump off and he goes over
- 21:44Speaker 1: to try and help him. I just, he seems like
- 21:46Speaker 1: one of the most genuine guys out there. I agree. Okay.
- 21:50Speaker 1: All right, then. Well, I'm glad you got a lot
- 21:52Speaker 1: to add. I don't really have anything to add. Clearly
- 21:55Speaker 1: you don't. But I just like Jon Bon Jovi. That
- 21:59Speaker 1: is one guy I would never say, oh, I don't
- 22:01Speaker 1: like your music. No, I would never say something like that,
- 22:04Speaker 1: but I'd want to meet him. If he asked me,
- 22:07Speaker 1: how do you like my music, Michael? I was like, oh, geez,
- 22:09Speaker 1: what do you say at that point? I love it.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Is that what you do? You completely lie about it?
- 22:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Really?
- 22:17Speaker 2: Okay.
- 22:17Speaker 1: I mean, that's just the smart move. It is? Okay.
- 22:19Speaker 1: It's the kind move, isn't it? I mean, what if
- 22:22Speaker 1: he just said it's unique? That's typically a nice way
- 22:29Speaker 1: to say that you don't like your music, but I
- 22:32Speaker 1: don't know. I mean, I've often wondered what would it
- 22:35Speaker 1: be like to meet a famous person, and if they
- 22:38Speaker 1: ask you, what do you think of my work, and
- 22:40Speaker 1: you really don't like their work, And then, I don't know,
- 22:43Speaker 1: it'd just be one of those. Because they say don't
- 22:46Speaker 1: meet your heroes, but I've found that to be the
- 22:49Speaker 1: most incorrect advice in the world. I've met several of
- 22:53Speaker 1: my heroes, and every one of them could not have
- 22:55Speaker 1: been any nicer. And so I've never met someone that, well,
- 23:02Speaker 1: in fact, I've met somebody I didn't like, and I
- 23:04Speaker 1: ended up liking them. That's the other thing. You think
- 23:08Speaker 1: they're one way, but then when you really meet them,
- 23:10Speaker 1: they're some of the nicest people. How do you feel
- 23:12Speaker 1: about Andy Sweeney? Andy Sweeney?
- 23:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Who is Andy Sweeney? He works for our competition.
- 23:19Speaker 2: Oh.
- 23:20Speaker 3: But I always thought he was just such a tool,
- 23:23Speaker 3: and I didn't like him.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Yes. And then I met him, and I was like,
- 23:26Speaker 1: Andy's awesome. Yeah. I like this dude. Yeah. That's kind
- 23:31Speaker 1: of how I felt about John. Who's the guy at
- 23:35Speaker 1: UofL that's no longer doing UofL stuff? John. Oh, shoot, man. Papa? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 23:44Speaker 1: He used to do UofL Radio with Mike Rutledge. Oh,
- 23:48Speaker 1: I couldn't tell you. Yeah, you do. As soon as
- 23:51Speaker 1: I say it, you'll know exactly who I'm talking about. See,
- 23:57Speaker 1: this is when I– John Ramsey. I can't stand myself
- 24:01Speaker 1: when I can't think of names. I was never a
- 24:03Speaker 1: big fan of John Ramsey until I got to know him.
- 24:06Speaker 1: And then I think he's one of the nicest people
- 24:08Speaker 1: out there, just to let you know. I've always, I'll
- 24:11Speaker 1: always like John Ramsey. One person texted in 502-414-1450. Wait,
- 24:18Speaker 1: they tweeted in the text line number? Is that what
- 24:21Speaker 1: I said? Did I say text?
- 24:23Speaker 3: No, you actually say that every day, and I want
- 24:25Speaker 3: to call you out on it, but I never have.
- 24:27Speaker 1: All right. Texter says 502-414-1450. Oh, shush. That's enough. All right.
- 24:34Speaker 1: You want me to make fun of the habits you have?
- 24:36Speaker 1: I don't think you do. I have bad habits, okay?
- 24:39Speaker 1: I realize that. No, they did not text in the number.
- 24:43Speaker 1: I'll give you one of my bad habits.
- 24:44Speaker 3: I said on my show this morning, I must have
- 24:47Speaker 3: said anticipate 6,000 times.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Really?
- 24:51Speaker 3: It was starting to really tick me off. You remember
- 24:54Speaker 3: the movie Goodfellas?
- 24:56Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. Great movie. All right. Do you remember that
- 24:58Speaker 1: when he's going through the bar, Ray Lolita, the actor? Leota? Leota,
- 25:03Speaker 1: whatever his name is. And great movie, by the way. Oh, yeah.
- 25:08Speaker 1: And he starts talking about the nicknames of each of
- 25:10Speaker 1: these guys, and then he gets to this one guy.
- 25:13Speaker 1: He's called Johnny Two Times or whatever it is because
- 25:16Speaker 1: he kept repeating himself.
- 25:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:18Speaker 1: You do that sometimes. I do. And I always think,
- 25:20Speaker 1: just in two times. Yeah. I'm going to start calling
- 25:22Speaker 1: you just in two times. But that's another, for me,
- 25:24Speaker 1: that's another stall tactic. Don't. Well, then stop doing that.
- 25:28Speaker 1: You don't need to stall. That's just how I feel.
- 25:30Speaker 1: I don't know. You need to. Okay. Listen, it's not
- 25:34Speaker 1: right for me to criticize anybody else because I know
- 25:36Speaker 1: I have some of the worst habits in the world.
- 25:39Speaker 1: And yes, I do put the number out there, but
- 25:42Speaker 1: I need to change that. 48 Handley said, I will
- 25:46Speaker 1: give you one positive. Kentucky had no turnovers in two
- 25:50Speaker 1: consecutive road games. And 48 Handley, you are absolutely correct.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Because to go on the road, again, it doesn't matter
- 26:02Speaker 1: what team it is within the SEC. To go on
- 26:04Speaker 1: the road to win in the SEC is a feat
- 26:08Speaker 1: within itself. Top to bottom. And to do it and
- 26:13Speaker 1: not have any turnovers is just absolutely amazing. What are
- 26:19Speaker 1: the ingredients that Will Stein has put in this team
- 26:24Speaker 1: to completely change the narrative? Believe. You think that's it?
- 26:29Speaker 1: That's it? It's just believe. Do you need anything else?
- 26:32Speaker 3: I mean, if you believe in yourself and your abilities
- 26:36Speaker 3: and your teammates, what else do you need?
- 26:38Speaker 1: I mean, that's Ted Lasso in a nutshell. I've never
- 26:41Speaker 1: even seen Ted last. Oh, you haven't? Oh, my gosh, man.
- 26:44Speaker 1: So in his locker room where they play the soccer games,
- 26:49Speaker 1: he wrote a sign that simply says believe. That's all
- 26:54Speaker 1: it says. I mean, it's not any more difficult than that.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Keep it simple, stupid. Kiss Beth. Really? It's just believe
- 27:01Speaker 1: in yourself and that's it. To have a completely different mindset.
- 27:06Speaker 1: I would love to talk to some of the players
- 27:08Speaker 1: that were at UK the last year or two and
- 27:11Speaker 1: to see what the difference is this year. And now
- 27:14Speaker 1: they're playing for Mark Stoops and now they're playing for
- 27:17Speaker 1: Will Stein. What are the major differences? That's probably one
- 27:21Speaker 1: thing I would ask a player after a game. Because
- 27:24Speaker 1: you were right. The young lady that you texted me
- 27:28Speaker 1: this morning. And I looked it up. I watched it.
- 27:32Speaker 1: It was one of the Rays players. And we'll talk
- 27:33Speaker 1: about the Rays in a little bit. But one of
- 27:35Speaker 1: the Rays players was being interviewed. because he had some
- 27:39Speaker 1: of the game-winning hits. And she asked him some really
- 27:43Speaker 1: intelligent questions. And I thought, those are good post-game show.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Is this Michael Bennett giving props to a sideline reporter? Well,
- 27:51Speaker 1: he grew up in Brooklyn. All right, all right. You're
- 27:54Speaker 1: going to give me a hard time. I'm not going
- 27:56Speaker 1: to say anything, okay? You want me to be positive
- 27:58Speaker 1: or you want me to be negative? I'll be happy
- 28:00Speaker 1: to be negative. I love when you're positive. Well, it
- 28:04Speaker 1: was Palacios who grew up in, I think, either Brooklyn
- 28:08Speaker 1: or Queens, New York. He grew up. It doesn't matter.
- 28:11Speaker 1: He grew up a New York Yankees fan. And she
- 28:13Speaker 1: asked him what it was like growing up in New York.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Now here you are playing against him and you're beating him.
- 28:18Speaker 1: You are a one-man wrecking crew. And she asked him
- 28:21Speaker 1: really nice questions. And you know what? His teammates came
- 28:24Speaker 1: over and threw water on him. Almost got her. No, no, no, no.
- 28:29Speaker 1: In fact, Palacios said, he said, sounds like you got
- 28:31Speaker 1: a lot more. And she said, yeah, I think I did.
- 28:34Speaker 1: She didn't flip out. She didn't make it about her.
- 28:37Speaker 1: She went back to just asking the questions. I didn't
- 28:40Speaker 1: think very much got on her. Well, according to him,
- 28:43Speaker 1: it did. It must have gotten on her back or something.
- 28:46Speaker 1: But I thought she did a great job. She didn't
- 28:48Speaker 1: make it about her. And that's what somebody else has
- 28:50Speaker 1: been really guilty of. making about themselves. If you go
- 28:55Speaker 1: down and watch clay, Travis, he has been really critical
- 28:59Speaker 1: of these sidelines. One particular side run reporter. Really?
- 29:03Speaker 3: I almost to the point where I think it's a
- 29:07Speaker 3: little too much, but, uh, Travis is going over the top.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. But, uh, yeah.
- 29:14Speaker 2: Yeah. Okay.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Well, just, just say that's kind of him. Uh, One
- 29:18Speaker 1: person said, I know they're not popular on this show,
- 29:20Speaker 1: but I think Notre Dame's going to be hard to
- 29:23Speaker 1: handle when the playoffs start. What kind of odds can
- 29:26Speaker 1: I get against them making the final four? I've been
- 29:29Speaker 1: wrong before. I don't think they make the final. See,
- 29:32Speaker 1: I don't think so.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:34Speaker 1: I don't think they can beat Texas. I don't think
- 29:36Speaker 1: they can beat Georgia. I don't think they can beat
- 29:38Speaker 1: Ohio state. And I don't think they can beat Indiana.
- 29:41Speaker 3: Lord, go ahead and help them if we get another
- 29:43Speaker 3: chance at them. That's all I'm saying.
- 29:46Speaker 1: I don't think they can beat Florida. How do you
- 29:51Speaker 1: like that? I don't think they can get past Ole Miss.
- 29:55Speaker 1: I think there's a number of teams. Oh, they could
- 29:58Speaker 1: beat Ole Miss. Louisville lost to Ole Miss by three.
- 30:01Speaker 1: I don't think so.
- 30:01Speaker 3: I don't think so. Well, but, yeah, you're right about that.
- 30:05Speaker 3: By the way, listening to Louisville radio yesterday.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Oh, really? You talking about Mike Rutherford? It's just Louisville
- 30:13Speaker 1: radio in general yesterday was brutal. Was it really? They're done. Oh, really?
- 30:19Speaker 1: They were talking basketball season. Wow. Yeah, it's pretty ugly.
- 30:25Speaker 1: That's not good. All right. One person said, love the
- 30:28Speaker 1: two-time guy in Goodfellas. President Trump does it a lot. Oh,
- 30:32Speaker 1: does he really? Yeah, he does. Okay. Here's how I
- 30:36Speaker 1: stay away from politics and don't get mad. I don't watch.
- 30:41Speaker 1: I mean, I was talking to someone not too long
- 30:44Speaker 1: ago who's a therapist. Well, my therapist. And I like that.
- 30:50Speaker 1: And she's like, Michael, you won't believe the people that
- 30:52Speaker 1: are just coming in here because they're so upset about politics.
- 30:56Speaker 1: And I'm like, well, you know how you resolve that?
- 30:57Speaker 1: You don't watch. Pretty easy. To me it is. I
- 31:02Speaker 1: don't pay attention either. I used to watch Fox News
- 31:05Speaker 1: all the time. I used to watch MSNBC. I used
- 31:07Speaker 1: to watch CNN. And I was like, why do I
- 31:10Speaker 1: watch all this? I get mad every time. So why
- 31:13Speaker 1: watch it? So I stopped watching. And that's how I
- 31:16Speaker 1: resolved not getting mad anymore. Oh, my goodness. One person says,
- 31:23Speaker 1: this is John. Hey, Michael, I am happy for you
- 31:26Speaker 1: as a Rays fan. Maybe your boys can get the
- 31:29Speaker 1: brooms out, but I will say the Yankees hit very
- 31:31Speaker 1: well at home. So maybe my Yankees can make a
- 31:35Speaker 1: series out of this. Since I was 10 in 1996,
- 31:37Speaker 1: I have seen the Yankees at all five times. You know,
- 31:41Speaker 1: playing in a Don Mattingly little league in my hometown, Evansville,
- 31:45Speaker 1: was a big reason I liked the Yankees. I can
- 31:48Speaker 1: remember meeting Donnie Baseball when I was like seven, playing
- 31:53Speaker 1: in his league for a local restaurant called Kipley's. That
- 31:57Speaker 1: sounds like a good restaurant. Those were the days. Well,
- 32:00Speaker 1: I appreciate that, yes. Am I nervous about going to
- 32:03Speaker 1: New York and seeing my team play? Yes. Am I
- 32:07Speaker 1: nervous that the Rays can lose this? Yes. But the
- 32:12Speaker 1: amazing part, Weren't the Yankees, they played the Red Sox
- 32:19Speaker 1: out of the wild card part. They were just scoring
- 32:23Speaker 1: at will against the Red Sox. Yeah, 18-2. And now
- 32:26Speaker 1: they play the Rays, and they've only scored two runs
- 32:30Speaker 1: in two games. Those were on the road, though. Okay.
- 32:33Speaker 3: Now with them going back home, and they're going to
- 32:35Speaker 3: have Max Freed on the mound, so... not sure how
- 32:38Speaker 3: much offense you're going to see out of your raise
- 32:40Speaker 3: on Wednesday, but we'll hope for the best.
- 32:42Speaker 1: You would have thought that last night too. That's true. Uh, yeah.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Did you see him throw that one pitch at Yandy? Um, uh,
- 32:52Speaker 1: Diaz 98 miles an hour and it got out of control.
- 32:57Speaker 1: And I don't know how Diaz got out of the
- 33:00Speaker 1: way of that pitch. It was incredible. I could have
- 33:03Speaker 1: sworn it was going to hit his head. And then, uh,
- 33:07Speaker 1: What's his name? Schlonder? Schlittler. Schlittler came down. I got
- 33:10Speaker 1: to be careful with that. Oh, my God.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:12Speaker 1: Okay. Now you see it. And he came to home plate,
- 33:16Speaker 1: and I think he said, I'm sorry. Yeah, he did.
- 33:18Speaker 1: And I like that. More players in baseball should do that.
- 33:24Speaker 1: Especially when it's not intentional. That's what I've always wanted
- 33:29Speaker 1: to do. I would just say, hey, dude, I'm so sorry.
- 33:32Speaker 1: That was not intentional. If he... If it's the Red
- 33:35Speaker 1: Sox they're playing, does he apologize? I don't care who. No,
- 33:39Speaker 1: he does not. Are you kidding?
- 33:41Speaker 2: No.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Nobody should apologize to the Red Sox. Just letting you know.
- 33:44Speaker 1: I'm not a Red Sox fan. But anyway, we got
- 33:48Speaker 1: to take another break. When we come back, I do
- 33:50Speaker 1: want to talk about the Power K because it's coming
- 33:53Speaker 1: out this weekend. And I am very excited about it.
- 33:56Speaker 1: Stay right there. More Just Cats coming up.
- 34:02Speaker 4: Who says you can't go home?
- 34:41Speaker 3: I got a piece of land out in the countryside.
- 34:45Speaker 1: Lay back and smell the sun. Warm up the Georgia pie.
- 34:50Speaker 3: Feels so good to be taking it easy.
- 34:54Speaker 4: Why would I ever leave?
- 34:57Speaker 1: Cause I know I got some good friends.
- 35:00Speaker 3: That live down the street.
- 35:03Speaker 1: Got a good looking woman. I hear this song and
- 35:08Speaker 1: I think I'm watching Game Day right now. It's a
- 35:10Speaker 1: really good song. Thank you. Yeah, I love it. What's
- 35:14Speaker 1: it called? I know it's Zac Brown. Homegrown. Homegrown. Okay,
- 35:17Speaker 1: very good. I like that. Listen, you've come up with
- 35:20Speaker 1: nice songs because you switched it up and you played
- 35:24Speaker 1: the country version. I did. The Bon Jovi, which was real.
- 35:27Speaker 1: I appreciate you doing that. By the way, we've got
- 35:30Speaker 1: a special guest today with us. Do you want to
- 35:32Speaker 1: introduce him, Justin? You want to let him introduce himself? Oh,
- 35:36Speaker 1: should we? Yeah, give me the opportunity. All right, well,
- 35:39Speaker 1: let me ask, do you know how to talk? Yes, sir.
- 35:42Speaker 1: I do know how to talk. You do know how
- 35:43Speaker 1: to talk because evidently somebody asked you that question not
- 35:46Speaker 1: too long ago. Who would ask the dumbest question in
- 35:50Speaker 1: the world, do you know how to talk? Who did that?
- 35:54Speaker 1: That was Mr. Steven Peek. Throw him under the bus. Absolutely,
- 36:01Speaker 1: I'm going to throw Steven Peek. I mean, he should
- 36:05Speaker 1: be a sideline reporter, okay? Just let you know right now.
- 36:07Speaker 1: All right. Your name is? Quinn Person.
- 36:11Speaker 2: Quinn Person, and Quinn, what are you doing in my studio?
- 36:16Speaker 2: I am interning on Tuesdays here at the Big X.
- 36:20Speaker 1: At the Big X, yeah. Very excited. Oh, now, come
- 36:23Speaker 1: on now. Poor guy, his face is turning red. Are
- 36:28Speaker 1: you really excited about this or no? I am truly
- 36:31Speaker 1: excited about this. This is way better than being at
- 36:33Speaker 1: school right now. Quinn is just like me, okay? I
- 36:39Speaker 1: would rather be doing anything else than to be in
- 36:42Speaker 1: class right now. You're what year? Junior. You're a junior
- 36:45Speaker 1: at Holy Cross. Okay, good. He plays golf. Oh, you do?
- 36:50Speaker 1: I do play a little golf. Oh, you have a handicap? No,
- 36:53Speaker 1: I would say I'm around like a 10 or 12, though.
- 36:57Speaker 1: You don't have a handicap, but you're going to say
- 36:59Speaker 1: you're like a 10 or 12. I have a rough estimate.
- 37:02Speaker 3: I mean, I don't have a handicap either, but I
- 37:04Speaker 3: tell people I'm a 14 or 15.
- 37:06Speaker 1: Okay, fair enough. All right, so if you're a 10
- 37:09Speaker 1: or a 12, that means you shoot anywhere from 82
- 37:12Speaker 1: to 84. Yeah. Okay, that's about right. Somewhere in there.
- 37:17Speaker 2: Some days it's lower, but then a lot more days
- 37:21Speaker 2: it's higher.
- 37:22Speaker 1: All right, and just a few minutes ago, you told
- 37:26Speaker 1: me what about this internship that you're doing here at
- 37:30Speaker 1: the Big X? What do you mean? I think you
- 37:33Speaker 1: know exactly what I mean. What did you say? So Mr.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Bennett asked me. Yes. He asked me if I wanted
- 37:41Speaker 1: to do radio. Yeah. I said, actually, I want to do. No,
- 37:45Speaker 1: that's not what you said. You said, I don't want
- 37:48Speaker 1: to do radio. I don't even know what I'm doing here.
- 37:51Speaker 1: I said, I want to do broadcasting.
- 37:58Speaker 2: I love how he's saving himself here. I wanted to
- 38:01Speaker 2: do broadcasting. He asked me what Who's my team? It's Louisville,
- 38:06Speaker 2: but honestly, I don't really care.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Oh, you don't?
- 38:09Speaker 3: Really?
- 38:09Speaker 1: No, no, no. As long as I'm broadcasting somebody. Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 38:14Speaker 1: I listened to him do a volleyball game last week. Oh,
- 38:17Speaker 1: did you really? He did a good job. Who's volleyball game?
- 38:20Speaker 2: The Holy Cross Cougars volleyball team. They got a big
- 38:22Speaker 2: one tonight against the Assumption Rockets at home.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Now, wait a minute. Holy Cross is boys and girls?
- 38:28Speaker 1: Because I know it's... Okay. Yes, sir. I apologize about that. Because,
- 38:31Speaker 1: you know, I'm always thinking St. X, Assumption... Sacred Heart, Trinity,
- 38:35Speaker 1: they're always boys or girls. But Holy Cross is different.
- 38:41Speaker 1: The only co-ed school, Catholic school, in Louisville. Is it really?
- 38:45Speaker 3: Wow.
- 38:46Speaker 1: That's the school I would rather go to. Yeah, I'm
- 38:48Speaker 1: all about Holy Cross. I agree. Yeah. I just don't.
- 38:51Speaker 1: I've never understood how you could go to a private
- 38:53Speaker 1: school that's all boys. Me too. I couldn't do it.
- 38:56Speaker 1: I couldn't either. Girls are what kept me sane when
- 38:58Speaker 1: I was in high school. I want the distraction. I mean,
- 39:00Speaker 1: it doesn't take much for Michael Bennett to be distracted, okay?
- 39:05Speaker 1: You'll learn if you come in here again that I
- 39:08Speaker 1: squirrel on everything. Everybody knows that. I enjoy that about me.
- 39:13Speaker 1: So anyway, hey, let me get back to this because
- 39:15Speaker 1: I do want to talk about this. One person texted
- 39:18Speaker 1: in and said, takes cue from Clay Travis on how
- 39:22Speaker 1: to disrespect female sideline reporters and proudly declares how he
- 39:26Speaker 1: avoids politics in same sentence. It's like, wait a minute.
- 39:31Speaker 1: I wasn't saying, I was just saying Clay Travis has
- 39:34Speaker 1: really been critical of one particular, I didn't mention her
- 39:38Speaker 1: name or anything, but I, no, I just, listen. I
- 39:42Speaker 1: think you did mention her name. No, I didn't. I
- 39:44Speaker 1: didn't say Holly Roe at all. So, but no, I just, I, I,
- 39:50Speaker 1: I'm not trying to disrespect anybody or whatever. Dude, if
- 39:54Speaker 1: you want to believe that, go ahead. It did make
- 39:56Speaker 1: me laugh, though. I will say that. One person said
- 40:00Speaker 1: Yankees defense is suspect. Leonard's a loser. Uh, the, uh,
- 40:04Speaker 1: Leonard's loser, the Yankees. Do y'all, y'all don't even know
- 40:07Speaker 1: what that reference is to do you? I don't know.
- 40:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:10Speaker 1: Back, back in the late seventies and eighties, there was
- 40:14Speaker 1: a guy named Leonard's, uh, that he was from Georgia.
- 40:19Speaker 1: And every week he would do a, uh, a bit
- 40:23Speaker 1: for about 15. So minutes on the radio, it was
- 40:26Speaker 1: called Leonard's losers. And he would predict who was going
- 40:29Speaker 1: to lose the game. It was on all these different
- 40:32Speaker 1: radio stations throughout the Southeast. It was awesome. I loved it.
- 40:35Speaker 1: I miss Leonard's Losers. You could probably look it up,
- 40:39Speaker 1: and I bet you it's on YouTube.
- 40:40Speaker 3: Wait, so is this the opposite of giving sports bets?
- 40:45Speaker 3: He's just giving you the opposite side of sports bets?
- 40:48Speaker 3: He's giving you the opposite side.
- 40:50Speaker 1: Yeah, look him up. See if he comes up on YouTube.
- 40:53Speaker 1: Leonard's Loser, so instead of predicting who was going to
- 40:57Speaker 1: win the game, he predicted who was going to lose
- 41:01Speaker 1: the game. So, but it was a very popular radio
- 41:06Speaker 1: show with Leonard's post toasties selected the winners of a college,
- 41:11Speaker 1: all college football game. No, he selected the losers. On Saturdays.
- 41:15Speaker 1: He was a ride. I agree. He was funny. And
- 41:19Speaker 1: I enjoyed every second when the whole dinner. And I
- 41:22Speaker 1: would just, I would think, okay, who's he going to pick?
- 41:24Speaker 1: Is he going to pick Kentucky to lose? Or is
- 41:26Speaker 1: he going to pick whoever Kentucky was playing that day?
- 41:28Speaker 1: And I just like, okay, we're going to lose. If
- 41:30Speaker 1: he picked Kentucky to lose, I'd be done. It's like,
- 41:32Speaker 1: might as well just go on back home. So anyway,
- 41:35Speaker 1: was he always right? Surely he wasn't always right. Oh, no,
- 41:37Speaker 1: he wasn't always right. No, of course not. But back then,
- 41:41Speaker 1: when it was Jerry Claiborne or Bill Curry, yeah, he
- 41:43Speaker 1: was most likely always right about Kentucky because they always lost.
- 41:47Speaker 1: It was terrible. UK release, what the Power K helmet's
- 41:50Speaker 1: going to look like? for the game this weekend. And
- 41:54Speaker 1: I absolutely love it. I'm excited about it. I think
- 41:58Speaker 1: the entire fan base is excited about it, except for
- 42:01Speaker 1: Justin Kalen is not excited about it.
- 42:03Speaker 3: No, I'm just, I'm exhausted from it, is what I am.
- 42:06Speaker 3: I've just, I've seen way too much power, Kalen. Look,
- 42:11Speaker 3: I love that you all are excited about it. It
- 42:13Speaker 3: makes sense why you're excited. It's like when Indiana last
- 42:17Speaker 3: year decided to bring back the Bison, right? I mean,
- 42:20Speaker 3: it's a logo and a symbolism of your team that
- 42:23Speaker 3: you haven't seen in many, many years.
- 42:25Speaker 1: Yeah. A symbol that most Kentucky fans love. They love
- 42:29Speaker 1: the Power K. Absolutely. For whatever reason. I mean, it's
- 42:32Speaker 1: as simple as it gets, but people freaking love it. Yeah,
- 42:34Speaker 1: because we haven't seen it in, let's see, it's 2026, 91. Uh, that's, uh,
- 42:41Speaker 1: how many years? Uh, that's 22 years. No, I'm just kidding.
- 42:45Speaker 1: I'm just kidding. Uh, 26, 36, it's 35 years. Yeah. So, uh,
- 42:52Speaker 1: Quinn's shaking his head. Like he even knows Matt. I mean,
- 42:54Speaker 1: come on, you go to Holy cross. Come on.
- 42:57Speaker 2: Where do you hope to go to college by the way?
- 43:00Speaker 2: That's actually something I want to talk to Mr. Justin
- 43:02Speaker 2: about today.
- 43:04Speaker 1: I love how he calls you Mr. Justin. Yeah, I've
- 43:06Speaker 1: given him some good advice. Oh, you have? Oh, really?
- 43:09Speaker 2: We had a conversation with my parents the other day
- 43:12Speaker 2: about this. It's going to be a lot of debt
- 43:15Speaker 2: to go into, but we're going to try and figure
- 43:18Speaker 2: something out.
- 43:19Speaker 1: Are you going to give us a hint? Do you
- 43:20Speaker 1: keep talking about how you're talking to other people?
- 43:23Speaker 2: Right now, I would say the frontrunner is Justin's Indiana Hoosiers.
- 43:27Speaker 1: Hey-o! Turn his mic off. No, we're done. Michael, if
- 43:31Speaker 1: he wants to do broadcasting, I mean, that's a great
- 43:33Speaker 1: spot to go. It is a good broadcasting school. I mean,
- 43:36Speaker 1: what are the really well-known broadcasting schools in the country?
- 43:41Speaker 3: I'd say Syracuse is probably at the top.
- 43:43Speaker 1: Syracuse? Really? I had no idea.
- 43:47Speaker 2: The downfall of Syracuse is I'm looking at north of $ 90, 000.
- 43:50Speaker 1: A year to go to Syracuse because it's out of state.
- 43:53Speaker 1: And you're in New York where it's cold. Yeah, that
- 43:56Speaker 1: would be to me. That would steer me anywhere else.
- 44:00Speaker 1: I would not go anywhere north of Kentucky. Just too cold.
- 44:04Speaker 1: Bloomington might not be too bad. No, it's fine. Terrible. Horrible.
- 44:08Speaker 3: Although when I was at school there, we did have
- 44:10Speaker 3: a so classes hadn't been canceled like 30 years. Yeah,
- 44:13Speaker 3: we did have one or one winter where we got
- 44:16Speaker 3: so much snow that classes were canceled.
- 44:18Speaker 1: Oh, really? That was pretty. Okay. UK women's basketball will
- 44:23Speaker 1: play Illinois later this month in a closed preseason exhibition
- 44:27Speaker 1: game in Champaign, Illinois. I don't like this. I love
- 44:31Speaker 1: the fact that they're playing Illinois, the women's basketball team
- 44:34Speaker 1: from UK, and Kenny Brooks is taking his team up there,
- 44:37Speaker 1: but I don't like that it's closed. If you play
- 44:39Speaker 1: an exhibition game, I just feel like it should be
- 44:43Speaker 1: for everyone to watch. What do you think? I'm honestly
- 44:46Speaker 1: tired of these... super secret scrimmages. Like I want to
- 44:50Speaker 1: watch our team. Yeah.
- 44:51Speaker 2: I want to, when Louisville went to the Bahamas, I
- 44:53Speaker 2: wanted to watch that. I kind of understand the thing
- 44:56Speaker 2: about it. You know, you don't want other teams to
- 44:58Speaker 2: get a read on you way too early, but I mean,
- 45:01Speaker 2: they're going to find out somehow.
- 45:02Speaker 1: Eventually. So what difference does it make?
- 45:05Speaker 2: In the era of social media, they're going to find
- 45:07Speaker 2: stuff they need to find.
- 45:08Speaker 1: Justin, I mean, Kenny Brooks, I mean, you got your,
- 45:11Speaker 1: you know, your bromance with him. What do you think
- 45:13Speaker 1: about them playing Illinois in a closed setting?
- 45:16Speaker 3: I mean, I'm a, I'm okay with it being a
- 45:19Speaker 3: closed setting. Yeah, I'm with Quinn and you that I
- 45:22Speaker 3: would like to watch. But, I mean, if you want
- 45:25Speaker 3: to take proper precautions to remain as secretive as possible
- 45:28Speaker 3: for as long as possible, I'm good with that too. Look,
- 45:31Speaker 3: I'm never going to doubt anything Kenny Brooks decides.
- 45:36Speaker 1: You're really not, are you? No. By the way, he's
- 45:38Speaker 1: coming on with us next week.
- 45:39Speaker 2: Yes.
- 45:40Speaker 1: So I know you'll be excited about that. But yeah,
- 45:42Speaker 1: Kenny Brooks is going to join us for a few minutes.
- 45:44Speaker 1: And I always, listen, I always enjoy talking to him.
- 45:48Speaker 1: And because I think, if I'm completely honest, I think
- 45:52Speaker 1: he's the most popular coach at UK right now. No way.
- 45:55Speaker 1: You don't think so? No.
- 45:57Speaker 3: Nobody's taking the popularity from Will Stein right now.
- 45:59Speaker 1: But it's the newness that I kind of take discount
- 46:02Speaker 1: a little bit with Will Stein.
- 46:03Speaker 2: Sure.
- 46:04Speaker 1: So it's the overall body of work. But Kenny has
- 46:07Speaker 1: been there now three years. You're right, I will say.
- 46:11Speaker 1: As far as right now, it's Will Stein. I mean,
- 46:15Speaker 1: he's escalated football at UK overnight. I kind of feel
- 46:20Speaker 1: like Kenny Brooks is that guy. I don't know. All right,
- 46:23Speaker 1: we've got to take a break. When we come back,
- 46:25Speaker 1: we've got to talk about this fast food restaurant. Of
- 46:27Speaker 1: Corey Price. And Corey Price will join us. And then
- 46:30Speaker 1: a couple of football players won some awards last week
- 46:33Speaker 1: after that South Carolina win. Stay right there. Hour two
- 46:37Speaker 1: of Just the Cats is coming. Plus, Zach's going to
- 46:39Speaker 1: be with us. Are you? Okay. We'll see you tomorrow. Yes, sir. Oh, Quinn. Zach.
- 46:45Speaker 3: Whatever.
- 46:45Speaker 1: His name's Quinn. Welcome to Just the Cats with Michael Bennett.
- 47:03Speaker 1: All right, now we're number two on this Tuesday. If
- 47:05Speaker 1: you want to call in, you can do it at 502-384-1450.
- 47:08Speaker 1: If you want to text in on the Whiskey Thief
- 47:10Speaker 1: text line, you can do that at 502-414-1450. You can
- 47:12Speaker 1: tweet me at Just the Cat Radio. We have Justin
- 47:16Speaker 1: with me as well as, I'm not going to say Owen, okay?
- 47:19Speaker 1: I know your name's not Owen. It's Zach. No, it's
- 47:22Speaker 1: not Zach either. Zach Brown. Yeah, see, I have totally
- 47:27Speaker 1: messed up now, but I know what your name is.
- 47:31Speaker 1: It's Quinn. Yeah, that's what I said. I got to
- 47:35Speaker 1: do Quisby's. I mean, that's the way I'm going to
- 47:37Speaker 1: remember it, okay? I got to associate you with a sandwich. Quisby's? Yeah, Quisby's.
- 47:42Speaker 1: Quinn and Quisby's. Quisnose? It starts with a Q. Quisnose? Oh, Quisby's.
- 47:47Speaker 1: That's right. It's Quisnose. Yeah, thank you. It's easy to
- 47:51Speaker 1: tell I never go to Quiznos. Quizbees. I'm Zaxby's. That's
- 47:55Speaker 1: the other place I'm mixing it up with. There you go.
- 47:57Speaker 1: It's a combination of Zaxby's and Quiznos, okay? Are you
- 48:01Speaker 1: a Quiznos fan, Justin? I haven't been there in probably
- 48:05Speaker 1: 30 years.
- 48:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:07Speaker 1: By the way, it's Tuesday, and you know what that means,
- 48:09Speaker 1: don't you? I do. Yeah, and he's not here. What normal?
- 48:13Speaker 1: I mean, he is really, Corey Price is supposed to
- 48:16Speaker 1: be here at 9 o'clock, and ever since he's gone
- 48:20Speaker 1: and done TV, guess what? He's big time. Always late.
- 48:25Speaker 1: He's big time enough. All right, then. UK is now
- 48:29Speaker 1: predicted to play in the postseason. I still can't believe
- 48:33Speaker 1: I'm saying those words right now. UK, are you ready
- 48:37Speaker 1: for where they're predicted to play?
- 48:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:39Speaker 1: All right. One prediction is UK will play in the
- 48:44Speaker 1: Birmingham Bowl versus Tulane, which I think would be a
- 48:49Speaker 1: really fun game, honestly. It's not a game I would
- 48:52Speaker 1: want to go to. I don't like Birmingham. There's nothing
- 48:54Speaker 1: exciting down there to go see. And Legion Field, where
- 48:58Speaker 1: they play the Birmingham Bowl, is absolutely in the worst
- 49:01Speaker 1: part of town. They tell you do not park anywhere
- 49:05Speaker 1: else other than the parking field where the stadium is.
- 49:09Speaker 1: That's how dangerous it is. The other one, they have
- 49:13Speaker 1: Liberty Bowl, which is in Memphis. That's the one you
- 49:18Speaker 1: really want.
- 49:19Speaker 2: No.
- 49:20Speaker 1: It's not. No, why would I want to go to Memphis? Well,
- 49:23Speaker 1: other than barbecue. Wow, Corey P. from TV showed up. Okay, well,
- 49:27Speaker 1: we're not talking to him right now. We're right in
- 49:29Speaker 1: the middle of a segment here. UK playing University of
- 49:33Speaker 1: Central Florida, so it's UCF, which is, if you're not
- 49:36Speaker 1: used to UCF, It's based in Orlando, Florida. So right there.
- 49:40Speaker 1: And they would be playing in Memphis at the Liberty Bowl.
- 49:42Speaker 1: You would not be excited about that bowl game is
- 49:44Speaker 1: what you're telling me. No, you would not. Okay. The
- 49:49Speaker 1: other one. This is the one I don't want to
- 49:52Speaker 1: go to at all. It's the Music City Bowl. Because
- 49:56Speaker 1: you've been there a million times. Yeah, exactly. And it's Nashville.
- 49:59Speaker 1: It's like, we go to Nashville enough. I don't want
- 50:02Speaker 1: to go to Nashville, okay? I am so sick of
- 50:06Speaker 1: overrated Nashville. But they have two predictions. They have UK
- 50:10Speaker 1: playing Minnesota, which I think would be a fun matchup.
- 50:13Speaker 1: They also have UK playing in the Music City Bowl
- 50:17Speaker 1: against Northwestern. That would be something else right there. Northwestern
- 50:21Speaker 1: would be a fun game. I agree with you. Now,
- 50:25Speaker 1: the last prediction that they have is UK playing, which
- 50:29Speaker 1: is my personal favorite, in the Gator Bowl. Because it's
- 50:34Speaker 1: in Florida. Jacksonville. It's the worst part of Florida. Well,
- 50:39Speaker 1: it might be true. But I would rather be going
- 50:42Speaker 1: to Florida than Nashville, Memphis, or what's the other place? Birmingham.
- 50:48Speaker 1: Wouldn't you or would you not? I would. No, I mean,
- 50:52Speaker 1: Jacksonville would be a fun place. Now they have what
- 50:55Speaker 1: I think would be a fun game. They have predicted
- 50:58Speaker 1: that UK would play in the Gator Bowl against Pittsburgh.
- 51:01Speaker 1: The only problem with all these is none of them
- 51:03Speaker 1: are playoff bowls. No, they're not. So I don't know
- 51:06Speaker 1: how likely they are to actually come to fruition.
- 51:10Speaker 3: Probably not. I mean, you don't see what I'm saying there.
- 51:12Speaker 3: I was saying the cats are going to be in
- 51:14Speaker 3: the playoffs, Michael.
- 51:15Speaker 1: Oh, I didn't get that. No, I didn't catch on.
- 51:16Speaker 1: That's very nice of you to say. Yeah. I don't
- 51:19Speaker 1: believe it, but I mean, it's very nice of you
- 51:21Speaker 1: to say. Listen, it is possible. I mean, Kevin Garrett
- 51:27Speaker 1: said anything's possible after he won the NBA championship with
- 51:31Speaker 1: the Celtics. And he's right. Anything is possible. Do you
- 51:36Speaker 1: think so, Quinn? I'm a big fan of Kevin Garnett,
- 51:40Speaker 1: but no, I do not think. It is possible. Okay. Well, golly.
- 51:44Speaker 1: You know, that's a quick way to have your mic
- 51:46Speaker 1: meet the rest of the show. Too bad. You don't control. Yeah. Well,
- 51:49Speaker 1: you're right about that. But anyway. But, you know, Mr.
- 51:54Speaker 1: Tardy has made it second week in a row. He's
- 51:56Speaker 1: been completely late. But it's Tuesday, and you can now
- 51:59Speaker 1: play what that means.
- 52:00Speaker 4: Take me away. I don't mind. It's better.
- 52:04Speaker 1: Promise me I'll be.
- 52:05Speaker 3: Back in time.
- 52:06Speaker 4: Take me away.
- 52:14Speaker 1: Corey Price, I need a note from your teacher now.
- 52:19Speaker 1: What is going on two weeks in a row? You're
- 52:21Speaker 1: showing up here. I mean, this whole TV thing is
- 52:24Speaker 1: taking you to a new attitude. Sure has. At least
- 52:29Speaker 1: you admit it. I do have a thing called a job, Mr. Bennett.
- 52:33Speaker 1: This is more important, though. Is everything at the job okay,
- 52:36Speaker 1: by the way? It's perfect. I love my job. I
- 52:39Speaker 1: love my boss. You just got stuff going on. Yeah,
- 52:41Speaker 1: I'm working. Yeah, that's good. I understand.
- 52:43Speaker 5: You mentioned Northwestern and Nashville. We played them in the
- 52:47Speaker 5: Music City Bowl in 2017.
- 52:48Speaker 1: Oh, really? I forgot that. Yes. They're a new team.
- 52:53Speaker 1: Benny Snell got ejected for touching a ref. That's the
- 52:56Speaker 1: other part. Yes. Which was ridiculous. Yeah, yeah. We need
- 53:01Speaker 1: to talk about officials in a little bit, by the way,
- 53:03Speaker 1: in the NFL. They had a great weekend. The refs did. Yeah,
- 53:07Speaker 1: they did. And I loved it. I don't know if
- 53:10Speaker 1: y'all saw it or not, but if you were watching
- 53:12Speaker 1: the Peyton or the Manning broadcast. They were talking about
- 53:17Speaker 1: the referees. You can speak up. It's okay, Quinn. So, yeah,
- 53:22Speaker 1: they were talking about how their shirts, are their shirt
- 53:25Speaker 1: size smaller? And Peyton Manning quickly, no, Eli said, are
- 53:30Speaker 1: they working out more now? And Peyton Manning says, no,
- 53:34Speaker 1: they're just wearing smaller shirts. I think that's a boy
- 53:37Speaker 1: size medium. I mean, all over the referee. It was funny.
- 53:42Speaker 1: I mean, it's true, though. They're all like trying to
- 53:45Speaker 1: get all jacked and buff looking for TV. They are.
- 53:48Speaker 1: And it's just like, OK, did somebody tattoo the shirt
- 53:51Speaker 1: on him? What is going on? They look, Quinn, come on,
- 53:54Speaker 1: admit it. They look ridiculous, don't they? Honestly, it.
- 53:57Speaker 2: It is kind of getting ridiculous, but I don't think
- 54:00Speaker 2: Peyton and Eli had to call him out like that.
- 54:02Speaker 1: Oh, no. Yes, they did. Are you kidding? That was hilarious.
- 54:05Speaker 1: That's when that show was funny. When they stop with
- 54:08Speaker 1: all these ridiculous celebrity guests that they have, it's fun
- 54:13Speaker 1: when it's just the two of them. All right, Corey.
- 54:16Speaker 1: All right. This week is October 4th through the 10th.
- 54:19Speaker 1: Start with October 4th, 1997. This is a big one, Mr.
- 54:21Speaker 2: Bennett.
- 54:23Speaker 5: UK football defeats number 20, Alabama, 40-34 in overtime at
- 54:27Speaker 5: Commonwealth Stadium.
- 54:28Speaker 1: Last win versus Alabama. That's correct, yes. I was there.
- 54:32Speaker 1: I was not.
- 54:33Speaker 5: UK's second-ever win against Bama and their first win against
- 54:36Speaker 5: the Crimson Tides since 1922.
- 54:38Speaker 1: Wow. But it was in high school back then.
- 54:41Speaker 5: UK's game-winning score came on a 26-yard touchdown pass from
- 54:46Speaker 5: Tim Couch at Craig East in overtime, of course.
- 54:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 54:49Speaker 5: And the Wildcats were led on offense by Anthony White's
- 54:51Speaker 5: 172 yards from scrimmage. 117 rushing, 55 receiving, and one touchdown.
- 54:57Speaker 1: Anthony White, I've never heard of him. I'm sure you haven't.
- 55:00Speaker 1: I'm teasing. I'm pretty sure you said that last week.
- 55:03Speaker 1: I love him. He's one of my favorites. Possibly the
- 55:05Speaker 1: week before as well. Yeah, okay, sorry. Yeah, I just
- 55:07Speaker 1: love teasing Anthony White. You're just a big tease, Mr. Ben.
- 55:11Speaker 5: October 14th, or 14th, wow, October 4th, 2019. The drama
- 55:16Speaker 5: film Joker is released in theaters. Did y'all see Joker?
- 55:21Speaker 1: Is that with... Joaquin Phoenix? Yes, I did see that.
- 55:25Speaker 1: That was a good movie. I didn't see that one. Yeah,
- 55:27Speaker 1: did you see it, Quinn? No, sir. Okay. He's so
- 55:30Speaker 1: polite over here. Did you hear him? You've gotten a
- 55:32Speaker 1: lot of respect over there. In 2019, he was too
- 55:35Speaker 1: young to watch Joker. Yeah, but it's been out for
- 55:37Speaker 1: a while. He could have gone and watched it on replay.
- 55:39Speaker 1: There are movies that weren't around when I was born
- 55:42Speaker 1: I've gone back to watch. Well, you were around in
- 55:44Speaker 1: the 20s. Oh, come on.
- 55:46Speaker 5: Directed by Todd Phillips. Stars Zazie Beetz. Francis Conroy, Robert
- 55:51Speaker 5: De Niro, and Joaquin Phoenix, as I just mentioned.
- 55:54Speaker 1: You know what Todd Phillip also has directed? One of
- 55:57Speaker 1: Justin's favorite movies. Ted? No, not that one. Old School?
- 56:04Speaker 1: Did he do Old School? He might have. I think
- 56:06Speaker 1: he has a cameo in Old School. Yes, that's exactly right.
- 56:09Speaker 1: So he also did The Hangover. Oh, good stuff.
- 56:14Speaker 5: The film grossed approximately $ 335. 5 million domestically. making it the
- 56:20Speaker 5: ninth highest-grossing film of 2019. The film was nominated for
- 56:24Speaker 5: 11 Academy Awards, winning two for Best Actor and Best
- 56:29Speaker 5: Original Score.
- 56:30Speaker 1: He's an odd dude, Joaquin Phoenix. He is. I should
- 56:34Speaker 1: say he's unique. Do you know who we're talking about, Quinn? No, sir. Oh,
- 56:37Speaker 1: come on. He's so polite. You have to be odd
- 56:41Speaker 1: to play Joker. Do you really? I mean, you can't
- 56:43Speaker 1: be a normal person and play Joker. Okay. All right, then. Well,
- 56:47Speaker 1: I'll never be able to play Joker. I think you
- 56:49Speaker 1: fit the bill perfect.
- 56:52Speaker 5: October 5th, 1961. The romantic comedy film Breakfast at Tiffany's
- 56:57Speaker 5: is releasing theaters.

- 57:40Speaker 1: Do you know the song? Oh, you don't? He goes,

- 58:18Speaker 5: great year, by the way.
- 58:19Speaker 1: I love Mark Logan. Yeah, that was a great year.
- 58:22Speaker 1: That was an okay year. Not like 1965, but 85
- 58:26Speaker 1: was okay. 85 might be the best year ever. Never.

- 58:48Speaker 5: This is UK's largest margin of victory against the Bulldogs
- 58:51Speaker 5: in school history, 28 points. In the fourth quarter, UK

- 59:06Speaker 1: Wow.
- 59:07Speaker 5: It's now eighth most all-time. And it's record tying four
- 59:11Speaker 5: rushing touchdowns. I think we all, well, maybe not this guy,

- 1:00:04Speaker 1: I just looked it up the other day. Oh, did
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: you really? Okay. Meet the... I don't know. It's something. Okay, good.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: Meet the in-laws. Maybe. Yeah, a fucker in-law. Oh, it is. Okay,

- 1:00:33Speaker 1: Wow.

- 1:01:47Speaker 1: Okay. You sound so enthused. Yeah. When anybody wins an
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: award by the MTV award show, I literally just said
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: the American. I know you did. But when you were
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: talking about Meet the Fockers, that was an MTV award.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: I'm listening to everything you're saying there. All you want
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: to do is argue with me anymore. I mean, you
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: show up late. You got your big TV gig, and
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: all you want to do is big time us. Corey
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: P from TV. That's me. I think it's this new girlfriend, too,

- 1:02:41Speaker 1: What was the attendance?
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: 36,000.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: That's all?
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: 36,000?
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: Isn't that crazy? We've come a long way since 1949.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: Absolutely we have.
- 1:02:49Speaker 5: UK was helped on special teams by a 61-yard punt
- 1:02:53Speaker 5: return touchdown by Emory Clark and 91-yard kickoff return by
- 1:02:57Speaker 5: Don Dopey Phelps.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: That's not a complimentary nickname right there. Dopey Phelps? He
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: was dope on the field. But dope wasn't around for
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: that kind of definition back then. What year is this? 1949. Okay. Yeah,
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: dope meant something else. Yeah, exactly. They did not mean
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: something else today, definitely, but not back then. That's back
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: in the time frame when they had the greatest nicknames ever.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: Of course. Back in the 40s and 50s. I love
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: nicknames from back then. Vito Babe, Pearlie. Yes.
- 1:03:37Speaker 5: October 8th, 1982, the comedy film My Favorite Year is
- 1:03:41Speaker 5: released in 50 years.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: I've never heard of that. Oh, well.
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: Huh.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: You learn something new every day.
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: Directed by Richard Benjamin. It stars Joseph Bologna. Wait, his
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: name's Bologna? How do you spell it?
- 1:03:55Speaker 5: It's spelled like Bologna, so I'm assuming it's pronounced Bologna.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: It's kind of like Joe Bologna's. Is that because it's
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: spelled Bologna? Would you say Bologna? Okay.
- 1:04:07Speaker 5: Jessica Harper, Mark Lynn Baker, and Peter O'Toole. The film
- 1:04:11Speaker 5: grossed approximately $ 20. 1 million domestically, making it the 41st Highest

- 1:04:23Speaker 5: Kingsley in Gandhi. Oh, wow.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: Great film.
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: October 9, 1992, the drama film A River Runs Through It.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: Great movie. If you love fly fishing, that's the greatest
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: movie ever. It's a movie about fly fishing? Oh, absolutely.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: Brad Pitt's in it? No, no, no, no, no, no.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: You go watch this movie and you tell me you
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: don't want to go fly above fly fishing. You didn't
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: do a good job of selling. It sounds boring. Listen,
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: I don't do a good job of selling anything, okay? Well,
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: I shouldn't say that. That's probably a horrible thing to
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: say on the radio. You used to be good. I
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: used to be good? Well, yeah, I used to be good.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: Not much of a fisherman myself, but. Oh, fly fishing
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: is one thing I've always wanted to do. Have you
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: ever been fly fishing, Quinn? I've not been fly fishing. Yeah,
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: speak up anytime you want, Quinn, okay? It's not just sitting.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: You're doing an internship here. You've got to be involved
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: in this, okay?
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: Yes, sir.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, see. Do you look fly while fly fishing?
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: Do I look fly? No. Oh, okay. Yes, Quinn says
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: I do. Okay. A little compliment will take you a
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: long way, Quinn.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: Those little suits that they wear when they stand in
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: the water. Those little suits. Those are fire, man. Oh, yes,
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: they are fire. Because fire does not burn on water. Okay,
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: Michael Bennett.
- 1:05:36Speaker 5: Directed by Robert Redford. Stars Brenda Bluffin, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Emily Lloyd,
- 1:05:43Speaker 5: Brad Pitt, Craig Sheffer, and Tom Skerritt. It's a great movie.
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: I'm just telling you. Film gross approximately $ 43. 4 million domestically.
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: making it the 37th highest-grossing film of 1992.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:05:56Speaker 5: And the film was nominated for three Academy Awards, winning
- 1:05:59Speaker 5: one for Best Cinematography.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: I agree with that. Oh, yeah? You did? Yeah, absolutely.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: It was just amazing scenes that they filmed. Anyway, y'all
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: need to go watch this. Just stop laughing at me
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: and go watch this movie, okay? I like the fly-fishing movie.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: That's what it was. Never mind. Speak them out. Because
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: you're a fly guy. I think. October. Both of y'all
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: said that now. This movie was fly. I have no
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: idea what that means, but it was fly. We need
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: Matt back for Gen Z. Okay.
- 1:06:31Speaker 5: That's probably right. October 9th, 2021. This is fitting for
- 1:06:36Speaker 5: this week. Number 16, UK football defeats LSU 42-21 at
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: Kroger Field.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:06:42Speaker 5: This is UK's largest margin of victory against LSU since
- 1:06:45Speaker 5: 1999 when.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: They won 31-5. That game was on CBS, too. Wasn't
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: that one of Vern Lindquist's last? 2021? No, it wouldn't
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: have been his last one. Yeah, it was probably second
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: to last.
- 1:06:58Speaker 5: UK rushed for 330 yards against the Tigers. The Wildcats
- 1:07:02Speaker 5: were led on offense by Chris Rodriguez's 150 yards from scrimmage,
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: 147 rushing, three receiving, and two touchdowns.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: By the way, he had a touchdown on Sunday. He did.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: Go Jags.
- 1:07:13Speaker 5: October 10, 1997, I think Bennett Malekas won the comedy-drama
- 1:07:18Speaker 5: film Boogie Nights.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: That was a comedy film? Comedy drama. Okay. All right.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: Mark Wahlberg.
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: What's the scary one, Corey? Boogie something. You don't know
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: what I'm talking about? It came out probably mid-2000s.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: No. I don't know. But Burt Reynolds was in this one.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: Would it be the Boogie Man, maybe?
- 1:07:39Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: I don't know. It had the dude from Seventh Heaven.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: That's all I know. Okay. All right.
- 1:07:43Speaker 5: Let's go back to Boogie Nights, okay? Directed by Paul
- 1:07:45Speaker 5: Thomas Anderson. It starred Don Cheadle, Heather Graham, Philip Seymour Hoffman,
- 1:07:51Speaker 5: William H. Macy, Julianne Moore, Nicole Ari Parker, John C. Reilly,
- 1:07:56Speaker 5: Burt Reynolds, and Mark Wahlberg.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: That's a list. That's quite a cast. Yeah.
- 1:08:02Speaker 5: I really like this movie. Film grossed approximately $ 26. 4 million domestically.
- 1:08:08Speaker 5: I think it'd be 78th highest grossing film of 1997.
- 1:08:10Speaker 5: And the film was nominated for three Academy Awards, but
- 1:08:14Speaker 5: did not win any.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: Yeah. Last one, October 10th, 1998. U.K.
- 1:08:19Speaker 5: Football defeats South Carolina 33-28 at Commonwealth Stadium.
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: This is U.K.
- 1:08:24Speaker 5: 's first win against the Gamecocks in Lexington since 1992.
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: U.K.
- 1:08:28Speaker 5: 's game-winning score came on a 29-yard touchdown pass from
- 1:08:32Speaker 5: Tim Couch to Kevin Coleman with 7.43 left in the
- 1:08:34Speaker 5: fourth quarter. And in the game, Anthony White became the
- 1:08:37Speaker 5: first player in school history to have at least 100
- 1:08:40Speaker 5: rushing yards and 100 receiving yards in the same game.
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: Wow, good for Anthony. 108 rushing, 117 receiving. Guy you've
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: never heard of before, right? I don't know Anthony at all. Yeah.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: I love that guy. He's a great guy. Yeah, he is.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: All right, then. Did you have fun last weekend watching
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: that ball game? You didn't go to Columbia, though, did you?
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: I didn't. not.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. It was a huge crowd down there.
- 1:09:04Speaker 5: A lot of blue got in. My wrist still hurts
- 1:09:07Speaker 5: because I was tweeting so much.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: No kidding. What was– all right, let's go through because
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: you did put out a lot of tweets during that game.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: Of all the tweets, in your mind, what was the
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: most significant of that game?
- 1:09:24Speaker 5: Probably that Stein's the first UK head coach to win
- 1:09:26Speaker 5: his first two SEC road games.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: Yeah, that is big. And the only other coach to
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: do that was– He's the first one, so there's another one.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: There you go. And the only other, you're exactly right,
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: but the only smart aleck, the only other coach to
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: start their career at UK. Four and one. Four and
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: one I thought was a big one, too. Paul Bear Bryant.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: Paul Bear Bryant, exactly. Do you even know who Paul
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: Bear Bryant is? I do know who Paul Bear Bryant is.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: You do? Very good.
- 1:09:55Speaker 3: What's Stein's nickname with Bear? What are they calling him?
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: Is my mic.
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: On? Is it St. Matthew Saban? No, there's another one
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: that has something to do with bear. I don't know that.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: I haven't heard. Never heard that one. Yeah, you might
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: need to look that up. I mean, yeah. Is your
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: brain on? You said Power K was last in 91.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: It was last in 96, actually.
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: Oh, 96.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Okay, I apologize. It was 19 really i've read an
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: article yesterday said 91 was the last time okay 96
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: well you thank you for listening so i was like
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: in here so i was oh yeah you were listening
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: i i had you on the radio okay well about
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: time you do but uh anyway uh so uh let's
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: talk about saturday well how you feeling about this game
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: uh what is going to be your prediction are we
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: going to have fun next tuesday.
- 1:10:57Speaker 4: Oh, man.
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: When do you come back on? Late, of course.
- 1:11:01Speaker 5: Might as well keep up with it. I mean, it's
- 1:11:03Speaker 5: become a trend. You know, I keep doubting them. I
- 1:11:06Speaker 5: doubted them at Kyle Field. I mean, I did think
- 1:11:08Speaker 5: we would probably win at Columbia. But the crowd should
- 1:11:11Speaker 5: be amazing. I hope the weather's fine.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: Night game.
- 1:11:15Speaker 5: Weather should be okay. Power K helmets. Kiffin coming to town.
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: Top 10 team. Yeah.
- 1:11:22Speaker 5: It's going to be an awesome atmosphere at this point.
- 1:11:26Speaker 5: I mean, I think if we can create some pressure
- 1:11:28Speaker 5: on Sam Levitt, I don't think he's great under pressure.
- 1:11:32Speaker 5: So if we can do that, I think we've got
- 1:11:34Speaker 5: a chance. But I will probably say LSU 34, Kentucky 28.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: Oh, really? Oh, heartbreaker. Because we don't dislike Kiffin. Do we?
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: Speak for yourself. I know you do. I don't know why.
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: Quinn, what do you think of Lane Kiffin? This is
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: a hot take here, but I actually kind of like
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: Lane Kiffin.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: See, I do too. He's pretty entertaining. Extremely. He's more
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: like Lane Kiffin, right, Scoots? That's right. Oh, boy. Here
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: we go. Partying with brat boys. Yeah, that part's kind
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: of weird. But keep in mind, he was dating a
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: college girl not too long ago. Isn't he married? Yeah,
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: he was. Well, at the time, he was separated. Oh, okay. Yeah.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: You think that guy's going to be faithful, Corey? Oh,
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: let's not go down that path.
- 1:12:21Speaker 5: He wasn't faithful to the Rebels.
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: No, he wasn't faithful to Tennessee either or Southern Cal.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: Or USC or the Raiders. Whatever team he's been with.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: I can keep going, yeah. And yet his dad, Monty Kiffin,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: was a great guy. He was. Who a longtime Tampa
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: Bay Buck. But I've never understood it because Monty Kiffin
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: is the complete opposite of Lane Kiffin. He was the
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: full Monty, you know?
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: Oh, geez.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: Nice movie reference. That's right. Yeah.
- 1:12:49Speaker 5: A film that Quinn's probably never.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: Even heard of. No, he was the sparkle of his
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: mom and dad's eye back then. Anyway, all right, well,
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: I appreciate you coming in as tardy as you were,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: but I get it. You got a real job. I'll
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: try to be more late. No, exactly. Yes, you will.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: You come in any time you want. I just love
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: giving you crap about it. All right, you'll be in
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: the booth, too, so hopefully it's going to be a
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: fun time. I look forward to those video clips.
- 1:13:14Speaker 5: Hopefully you'll see me in the booth cameras, right, because
- 1:13:16Speaker 5: they only do it for wins.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: I still ain't seen one of those. You haven't, really?
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: They're out there, Scoots. Yeah, they're definitely out there. They're
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: putting them out, too. All right, Corey Price, I appreciate
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: you coming in. Appreciate you. Suck it, Scoots. Yeah, thank
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: you very much. That's Corey Price, everybody. We're going to
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: take a break. When we come back, you know, we
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: got a few more. What the heck, man? Wrong mic.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: I'm not talking. We'll get to your tweets in a minute. Jeez,
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: go ahead and mute me now. See you.
- 1:13:56Speaker 4: And you're all about to make love for the first time.
- 1:14:08Speaker 4: And that's all it takes.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: I thought you were going to play this song. What?
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: I thought this was one you weren't going to play. Okay,
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: never mind. This is the first one you sent. It is? Okay,
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: never mind. I love that song, by the way. I
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: wasn't going to play the other one, but I just did. Oh, okay, yeah. Okay,
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: I got it. Oh, I got them two mixed up. Okay,
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: I see what you're doing. One person texted in, and
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: I'm not going to say it. Lovely Birmingham would only
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: be nice if it included a Tracy Lawrence concert. Hey-o.
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: I don't get this. Oh, you don't know any Tracy
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: Lawrence songs? No, who's Tracy Lawrence? Tracy Lawrence is the best. Oh, really?
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: He's the paint me a Birmingham. Come on, man. Okay, sorry.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: I don't know who Tracy is. So it's a guy.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: It is a guy.
- 1:15:19Speaker 3: Okay, because I think Tracy, I'm thinking it's a girl.
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: If it's a Tracy and it's a singer, odds are
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: it's probably a man.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: Oh, really? Because you got the... Other than Tracy Chapman.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: I was getting ready to say Tracy Chapman, who has
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: the car song, which everybody criticized the poor country music
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: singer that sang it. And he did a nice version
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: of it. He did a better version of it. Who
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: sang that one? Luke Combs. Okay, Luke Combs. Are you
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: into country, Quinn? I'm a fan of country. Are you?
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: I am a tiny bit. I mean, most people think
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: that I don't like country. It's just okay. Yeah, I
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: used to not like it. It's starting to grow on
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: me a little bit. Really? You just got to find
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: the right kind of style. Maybe that's what it is. Okay,
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: it's the style. Because if you're listening to music on
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: your phone, what are you listening to? What's the last
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: song you listened to?
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: I told Trevor it was probably Men Down Under by
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: the Men at Work.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: I love that song. I do love it. You just
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: blew my mind right there. That's from my era of
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: the 80s. Wow. Men at Work. Men at Work. And
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: you're like, wow, that's maybe the craziest thing I've ever heard.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: Quinn's culture. Clearly he is. Man, you are well versed. See,
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: I like that. That's the one thing I like about
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: Trevor because he likes talking music.
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: The movie's a little bare, but music, I can go
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: deep into music.
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: Can you really? Okay, good. Yeah. Fun fact, Josh said,
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: Quiznos has some of the best honey mustard ever. It's
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: Ken's dressing and can be bought in the condiment section
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: at your local grocery. I didn't know that. Are either
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: of y'all a honey mustard kind of guy? I like
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: honey mustard. You do?
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: I'm not a honey mustard guy. Me neither. Nobody can
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: hear you shake your head no. You know what?
- 1:17:09Speaker 3: Mustard's really good. Not that they need a shout out,
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: but McDonald's has a hot mustard.
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: Ooh, I like spicy mustard. It's unbelievable. Really? Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: there's a Chinese restaurant I go here in town that
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: serves a hot mustard. Love Chinese mustard. It clears my
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: nostrils out every time. It's amazing what it does. It's
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: like half mustard, half wasabi. All right, here we go.
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: I think this is a great text right here. Have
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: Quinn teach us some Gen Z words today and when
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: he comes on there on Tuesdays would be a great bit.
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: He normally isn't over here on Tuesdays, but yeah. What
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: do you mean?
- 1:17:48Speaker 3: Because normally he'll spend the first, what, hour and a
- 1:17:51Speaker 3: half of your day, Quinn, over there with JIE?
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: Yeah, probably an hour. Okay, stop that. We can hit
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: the transfer portal.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: Exactly. Done with that station. It's ridiculous. Anyway, come over
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: here where you can talk normal, and you can say
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: whatever you want to on the radio, okay? No, not
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: whatever you want. Oh, come on. You played a song
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: last week that you probably shouldn't have. Still calling me
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: out on it. Absolutely. No, this was rated X. I'm
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: going to tell you right now. But, yeah, he let
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: it go on the air. Justin's kind of loosening up now. So, anyway,
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: next thing you know, he's probably going to say it
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: on the air. So I think what is when somebody
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: says teach me a Gen Z word, what's the first
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: Gen Z word you think of? Not going to lie,
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: probably skivity. That's exactly what I was going to say. Skivity, really?
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: And you want me to be completely honest with you guys? Yes.
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: I have no idea what it means. Really? People just
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: say it. You use it and you don't know what
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: it means. They say it to just fill the air.
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: Skibbity Riz. Skibbity Riz. Riz, I do know the meaning of.
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: Tell me what Riz means. Charisma. We've learned that one.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: There you go. Okay. Matt taught us that one is
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: what you're telling me. Can you look up real quick
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: what Skibbity means? I can. Okay, good. I would like
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: you to do that. By the way.
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: He's exactly right. It means cool, bad, or acts as
- 1:19:14Speaker 3: a meaningless filler word.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: Meaningless filler work.
- 1:19:18Speaker 3: That's basically what he said. People just use it to
- 1:19:21Speaker 3: fill air. You know what would be so funny? When
- 1:19:23Speaker 3: you're trying to waste a little time without content, Justin.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: Skivity, skivity, skivity. Yeah, exactly. You just put that into
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: your show. I'm going to die laughing, okay? I think
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: it's great. You got like 30 seconds left in the
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: show and you don't have anything else, any other content.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: Just go skivity. I think it would be great. I
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: think it would be a big hit. I like Skibbity,
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: and I like Riz. Riz is probably one. No, I
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: don't know. How do you spell Skibbity? That's crazy. S-K-I-B-I-D-I. Okay. Oh,
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: with an I at the end. Oh, it's really special.
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: All right. Kenny Darby was named SEC Co-Freshman of the Week,
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: so Skibbity to him, because of 12 receptions, 96 receiving yards,
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: and one touchdown. The other person that won, got some
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: awards over the weekend in recognition, Lance Hurd. Can we
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: talk about Lance Hurd for a minute? He was named
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week. He was the top
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: grader on the UK line at 81% and had five
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: knockdown blocks, including the one where he did it twice
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: on one play. We talked about that yesterday. I think
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: I tweeted it out at the game. on Saturday. It
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: was amazing how he came off the line, took one
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: player down from South Carolina, starts going up the field,
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: gets another player down. Oh, is that number 53? Yes. Yeah,
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: he beast-moded. He really did. That was incredible. He had
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: zero penalties and did not allow any quarterback sacks. Lance Hurd,
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: you know, that's the other player we were talking about
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: that is now predicted a first-round draft pick coming up.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: in the, in the NFL draft. He, listen, he keeps
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: doing what he's doing. UK is on the verge of
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: having the big blue wall back. I already make the argument.
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: They do well, but they don't have enough backups yet.
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: Maybe they're on the, I just, that's why I say
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: they're on the verge. Not, not quite certain yet if
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: it's going to be, but, uh, anyway, um, UK LSU
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: kicks off at 7 p.m. as we all know. It's
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: going to be on ESPN. And you got a lot
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: of double hitters this weekend. Between everybody going to Keeneland
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: on Saturday and then doing the double hitter going to
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: the game that night, that to me is a fulfilling day.
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: It's a long day. Yeah, but that's fun, though, isn't it?
- 1:22:02Speaker 3: I mean, think of how many people are just going
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: to be drunk out of their minds. That's the part
- 1:22:06Speaker 3: that worries me the most. You're exactly right. No, that
- 1:22:09Speaker 3: should excite you the most.
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: Really? You think it's better for them to be drunk? Oh,
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: they're going to be so loud and obnoxious. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: By the way, watching that Rays game last night, the
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: loudest I've ever heard the drop. I'm hoping that's what
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: happens this weekend at Commonwealth Stadium. I, do you think
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: Quinn UK has a shot to beat LSU? Oh, they
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: definitely have a shot. Yes.
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: There, there's no doubt about that, especially with that, that
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: home crowd you were talking about. We saw it with Alabama,
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: you know, a couple of plays go the right way
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: for Kentucky. They're in that game. Uh, the scoreboard, I
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: don't think really does it justice to how close they
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: played that game.
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: Uh, so I think they definitely have a shot. It's
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: just going to be, who makes those big plays at
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: the right moments. And so far through five games, Kentucky
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: has made a lot of those big plays, and we
- 1:22:56Speaker 2: saw it last week at South Carolina.
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: You hear that right there? That was pretty good right there.
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: Very nice job, Quinn. You might, after all, have a
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: lifestyle on the radio or TV. I know you want
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: to do play-by-play, but that's still radio. Just don't say
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: you don't want to do radio. We're open to all options. Okay, well,
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: I'm glad you– is that true for girls as well?
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: Are you open to all? Recruitment is open. You're not committed.
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: Did you know he used to date a senior? Wow. Yeah.
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: When I was in sixth grade, I dated an eighth grader.
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: Did you really? Yeah, that was sixth grade? That was
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: big time, yeah. Really? Me and my best friend both
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: were dating eighth graders. It was awesome.
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: Whoa.
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: Wow. I mean, did they feel sorry for you? I
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: don't know. Or were they just palling around? I will
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: say they were way out of our league. They were? Yeah.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: I don't know how we pulled. Congratulations, an eighth grader.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: Would you hold her hand or touch her? Oh, yeah.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: Definitely a lot of handles. Wow. Okay. All right, we've
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: got to take our last break. Quinn, why don't you
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: take us out? We're going to take our last break.
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: We're going to have a next segment coming up. It's
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: going to be a good one. Don't know what it is,
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: but it's going to be a great one. Yes, I
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: love it. You're selling it. Stay right there. We'll be
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: right back. What's the name of the show? Just the Cat.
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: There we go, Quinn. With Michael Bennett. Yes, you did it.
- 1:24:19Speaker 4: Home made me love a small town. Home made me
- 1:24:23Speaker 4: want to settle down. And a home made for the
- 1:24:27Speaker 4: two of us. Everything I love is home made. Bible
- 1:24:37Speaker 4: by the bed, double barrel by the door.
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: Chickens on the rooftop, hickory on the floor. Down a
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: little dirt road out here. Man, I like this. Who
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: is this? This is Sam Hunt. Really?
- 1:24:57Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: You know he used to be quarterback at MTSU down
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: in Murfreesboro, Tennessee? Is that true? It's very true. Yeah,
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: he used to be the quarterback for Middle Tennessee State University.
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: The country singer. The country singer, Sam Hunt, the guy
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: you just played there. I don't know. You don't believe me.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: I don't believe you at all. Look it up. I
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: love how you doubt me, but it's okay. By the way,
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: UK men's basketball season. Single game tickets are going on
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: sale today. Three exhibition games between Little Rock, Texas Tech,
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: and UCF are available, as well as regular season games
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: between Manhattan, James Madison, Northern Arizona, Grambling, Wichita State, which
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: I'm really kind of surprised about, Appalachian State, and Bryant.
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: So there you go. If you want to go get
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: some extra tickets, make a nice little present for your family,
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: I'm sure they'll appreciate that. Okay, how the hell do
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: you know that about Sam Hart? Where did you pull
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: that from? I don't know. I just knew it. You're
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: not even a country music guy. Exactly. But yet you know.
- 1:25:58Speaker 3: Sam Hunt was a quarterback for Middle Tennessee State. Can
- 1:26:03Speaker 3: you tell me where he transferred from, Michael Bennett?
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: I don't remember. Was it Arizona?
- 1:26:08Speaker 4: UAB.
- 1:26:09Speaker 3: Oh, University of Alabama, Birmingham. If you would have spewed
- 1:26:12Speaker 3: that out at me. That's the most random fact you've
- 1:26:18Speaker 3: ever known in your entire life. I don't know why
- 1:26:21Speaker 3: I know crap like that. It's so meaningless.
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: By the way, NFL suspended two officials yesterday. Rightfully so.
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: I'm right. Yeah. For one of them, at least. No,
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: for both of them. I don't really.
- 1:26:35Speaker 3: The guy that was just trying to. The one he
- 1:26:38Speaker 3: was yelling in the player's face. I didn't really have
- 1:26:40Speaker 3: an issue with that because apparently he was just trying
- 1:26:42Speaker 3: to break up a fight. But the other one, you
- 1:26:44Speaker 3: can't cuss.
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: At a player. No, wait, wait, wait. I don't know
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: about the one at the fight. The one guy, it
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: was a defender for, who is it? The Vikings, wasn't it?
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: The linebacker who accidentally ran into him. So they were
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: still in the midst of a play. He didn't see
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: the referee and pushes him down by accident, but it's
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: a football play. And then the poor guy, Eric Wilson,
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: the linebacker for the Vikings, goes to try and help
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: him up. And the referee starts yelling at him. It's like, dude,
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: he didn't mean to run into you and knock you down.
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: There was no fight there. The play was still going on. Oh, well,
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: that was his explanation. He was just trying to break up.
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: No.
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: Well, they were still running and didn't see the momentum.
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: And the player, the poor guy goes to try and
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: help him up. And he starts, the referee starts yelling
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: at him. It's like, dude, settle down. Now, I did
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: see the other one, and that one. Yeah, that was
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: a bad look. That was very entertaining, though. Yeah.
- 1:27:43Speaker 3: McBride realizing that the camera was faced right at the
- 1:27:48Speaker 3: official and him just, like, pointing at it and laughing
- 1:27:50Speaker 3: was gold.
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: Yeah, he was suspended, what, two games, isn't it? Yeah. Yeah, man,
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: and he did. He yelled that. Listen, I look at
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: this as, like, because now a number of hockey people
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: have said, well, that happens all the time in hockey.
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: The referees or officials in hockey are always yelling at players,
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: blank you or any of that kind of stuff. So
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: the hockey people are kind of laughing, yeah, NFL soft.
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: So if the hockey does it, don't you think NFL
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: should allow the referees to respond back to the players
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: like that? I don't know. I look at it both ways.
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: I kind of lean towards officials should be looked at
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: in a higher standard and should be held to a
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: higher standard. But on the other hand, I mean, the
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: players are saying this kind of stuff. Well, if the
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: players are saying guess what? Throw an unsportsmanlike conduct on
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: our flag on them. I think a lot of sports
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: could learn some things. If you did things more like hockey. Yes.
- 1:28:46Speaker 3: Like let them fight, let them, let them cuss at
- 1:28:49Speaker 3: each other and at the refs and all that. I don't,
- 1:28:51Speaker 3: I don't have any.
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: Issues with that. What do you think, Quinn?
- 1:28:55Speaker 2: I'm kind of here, uh, With Justin on this one,
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: I mean, if hockey does it, you could probably implement
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: it to your sport, and it's going to be a
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: lot better. That's what makes hockey so entertaining, the fights,
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: you know, the aggressive play style. And I'm going to
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: be honest, sometimes I think referees, not only just in
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: the NFL, but all sports, they like to kind of
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: steal the show, make it all about them.
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: Yes, they do.
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: I'm not a big fan of them. Just– You're going
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: to get your screen time.
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: It's a T. I was close.
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: You're going to get your screen time when you're calling penalties.
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: You don't have to do something else to try and
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: get on there.
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: You're the ref. You're not the product. Yeah. I do
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: like the one where they show the referee and the
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: player is complaining about a call that was just against him.
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: And the official looks at him and says, I'm trying
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: to talk to America. I think that's awesome. That was
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: a good one. You've got to do it in moderation. Yes.
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: I agree. Because TV Teddy, I mean, he wants to
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: get his screen time. And it does get old. When
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: they're trying to explain themselves, I don't need them looking
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: at a camera like they do in the NBA now.
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: And now they're doing it in college basketball. It's like, okay,
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: come on now. Do we really need to see you
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: explain this like you are and get a little TV time?
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: You think that's getting a little on the overboard side. Definitely.
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: One thing I do like about that, though, especially with
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: the ACC football reviews, you can actually see what they're
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: talking about. So it doesn't seem as kind of suspect
- 1:30:23Speaker 2: when they're coming up with these calls because you can
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: kind of see the behind the scenes on why they
- 1:30:27Speaker 2: make the decisions.
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: I have really enjoyed that. I'm a big fan of that.
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: Fair enough. I think the other part would be kind
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: of cool. As they're explaining why they called something– the
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: producer should be on there playing the replay of it.
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: That's what I would like. I agree. I don't need
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: to be looking at that. I don't need to see
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: that person. Right.
- 1:30:46Speaker 2: Even though he's really funny, I would rather be looking
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: at the play and why they call it.
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: And then maybe, you know, like circling something.
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: That's even better. Yeah, exactly. It's like, okay, here's where
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: it happened. And this is why we're calling it this.
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: That's a great, just like they do up in the booth.
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: And then there's a lot less, you know, arguing and
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: banter on the great Twitter platform about that.
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: And so are you in the belief that officials should
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: be post-game interviews by the media?
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: I would actually like that, even though we did talk
- 1:31:23Speaker 2: about them stealing the show. I think a lot of
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: things need to be kind of evaluated. I do like
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: the suspension and the relegation.
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: System of the officials.
- 1:31:31Speaker 2: Because if we all remember going back to the Superdome,
- 1:31:35Speaker 2: that playoff game between the Rams and the Saints, that
- 1:31:38Speaker 2: pass interference call, I think that will be burned into
- 1:31:40Speaker 2: Saints fans' memories forever.
- 1:31:42Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 1:31:43Speaker 2: And we also have to have the ability to review.
- 1:31:46Speaker 2: I think we should be able to review everything. I
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: don't like how some plays are reviewable and some aren't.
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: If you see something obviously went wrong and it's illegal,
- 1:31:56Speaker 2: you have to call.
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: But don't you think they should limit to how many
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: you should review, though? Because you're going to be reviewing
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: every single game. And it's going to add more time
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: to the game. And people are just like, games are
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: getting too long.
- 1:32:08Speaker 2: And with that being said, I really like the replay
- 1:32:11Speaker 2: assist because that's quick. That'll be like, all right, no,
- 1:32:15Speaker 2: he didn't get the first down. Moved the ball back
- 1:32:16Speaker 2: one yard. And you don't have to do the replay.
- 1:32:19Speaker 2: long process of reviewing the playoff.
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: That's like the baseball replay. Just have somebody else look
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: at it. Well, do you like the fact that they
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: don't have the clock running for pitching in the playoffs?
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: They don't have a pitch clock? No, they don't. Wait, really? Yeah.
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: That's crazy. Yeah. I thought they did. Ah, they didn't
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: have it running last night. So, anyway. Chick-fil-A announced that
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: they are sticking to humans taking their orders, not AI.
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: Did you see where other... By the way, they do
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: use a pitch. Oh, they did? Then they didn't have
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: it running last night. Maybe they don't have it on
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: the graphic. That's why. Okay, that's why I missed it.
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: So Wendy's, Taco Bell, McDonald's, Rally's, Dairy Queen are all
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: using AI to take your order going through drive-thru.
- 1:33:02Speaker 3: It's horrible.
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: Have y'all experienced it? I haven't yet. I have not.
- 1:33:07Speaker 3: I was actually, it's funny you bring this up. So
- 1:33:09Speaker 3: I don't know if I told you this, Michael, but
- 1:33:10Speaker 3: I was telling Quinn last week, I went golfing.
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: Yeah. On Tuesday.
- 1:33:14Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: And I had to call the golf course, Elk Run,
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: to book my tee time. Oh, no, you told me, yeah. Yeah,
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: and it was like, hello, Justin. Yeah. What can I
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: do for you today? Yeah. It's like, let's start with
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: putting a human on the phone.
- 1:33:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: See, I'm right there with you. It's scary. I don't
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: know if it's scary. To me, it's an irritant. It
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: was scary to me that they knew my name. Oh, well, no,
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: that's not hard. I mean, they look up your number,
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: and it's identifiable. Yeah, I don't like that.
- 1:33:39Speaker 2: If you guys want to do something real cool, go
- 1:33:41Speaker 2: to ChatGBT, say, tell me everything you know about me.
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: Oh, really? It'll give you some really. So you've done
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: it on you?
- 1:33:50Speaker 2: It was like, from your recent activity, I can tell
- 1:33:53Speaker 2: that you're a Louisville fan. You really love sports. You've
- 1:33:57Speaker 2: researched the Cincinnati Reds.
- 1:33:59Speaker 3: X amount of times.
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: Really?
- 1:34:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: Okay, now you know what I'm going to be doing
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: as soon as this show is over. I'm going to
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: be looking up me.
- 1:34:06Speaker 2: Yeah, so if you have ever had any chats, if
- 1:34:09Speaker 2: you ever looked anything up on ChatGPT to say everything
- 1:34:12Speaker 2: you know about me, it'll tell you.
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: Justin, we need to do this for the show tomorrow.
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: I don't know that I want to. Oh, I do. Oh,
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: I'm so curious about me it's not even funny. It's
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: going to say, yeah, Michael, you're an absolute idiot, okay? Anyway,
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: all right. It was fun having you on, Quinn. I
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: appreciate it. You want to come on next week with us?
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: Of course, Mr.
- 1:34:29Speaker 2: Bennett.
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: You need to do some more Gen C, Mr. Bennett.
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: I like that. Yeah. And Mr. Justin there. All right.
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: Good job. Go back to school, okay? You got to
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: get in class. Make good grades. Don't be like Mr.
- 1:34:39Speaker 4: Bennett.
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: Anyway. All right, everybody. Appreciate you listening. We'll see you
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: tomorrow on Just The Kid. Raise a little cane, raise
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: a bunch of kids.
