- 0:30feel like it and then then again, I
- 0:32may not Uh, feel free to email me

- 0:38Live at damn radio.com samuel t at
- 0:41international flavor.com Would be good addresses for
- 0:47me.
- 0:47There's several others.
- 0:48We'll go into those another day uh tell
- 0:52you what does anybody else ever get the
- 0:54feeling that there's like, uh, The familiar Explanations
- 1:00just no longer work you know that that
- 1:03all of the Crap, they've been slinging For
- 1:07years all the propaganda being pumped down our
- 1:11throats Just they're down down our ears.
- 1:14I suppose coming out of their throats Just
- 1:16isn't working anymore.
- 1:18You know all these all these globalist propagandist
- 1:21A-holes that are that are sending crap
- 1:25our way just Are are failing and and
- 1:30I and I like that that it's failing
- 1:32that people aren't paying attention to propaganda as
- 1:35much and you know I I tell you
- 1:38what the familiar explanations that that you know,
- 1:42the the uh world order rules based uh
- 1:49Rules based order of the clinton years, you
- 1:52know and all of that just Is is
- 1:56is just total crap and uh, everybody sees
- 2:01it and it's like Unfortunately, those who live
- 2:04it are generally the ones that see it
- 2:06last We've been living it and it took
- 2:10us a little longer because we're the good
- 2:13guys, aren't we?
- 2:14Yeah That's right.
- 2:16Um events now explain themselves, you know more
- 2:20poorly than the context in which they actually
- 2:23occur and so this is why so and
- 2:26and I say this because This is why
- 2:30it's it It was important to me On
- 2:35friday a four and a half hour annual
- 2:43Presentation if you will and and uh Uh
- 2:47press conference and question and answer live in
- 2:50uh, russia put on um with vladimir putin
- 2:55a four and a half hour annual press
- 2:58conference and so Regardless of whatever your attitude
- 3:03is towards him.
- 3:04I mean i'm like him dislike him.
- 3:06I don't care i'm neutral I don't I
- 3:07don't give a crap, you know, he he
- 3:10is a Masterful politician.
- 3:12He's been at it for a long time.
- 3:15He's a former kgb guy, you know There's
- 3:18all kinds of stuff you could say And
- 3:20uh, but he's an effective leader and this
- 3:23four and a half hour press conference was
- 3:26nothing but proof of that and so this
- 3:29is You know regardless of what you think
- 3:32about it.
- 3:32This is more than just an annual political
- 3:35event.
- 3:36It's like Just shows the symptoms of the
- 3:40deeper shifts in the world, it's like a
- 3:44transformation of the very model of power Responsibility
- 3:49and and historic memory because this guy always
- 3:53talks from the point of view of the
- 3:56past and where we came from and how
- 4:00we got here and why and he Sometimes
- 4:03he over explains, you know in in how
- 4:06he does it, but I tell you what
- 4:09I it would be nice if we had
- 4:11anybody that would do that and I gotta
- 4:13tell you, you know Trump is probably the
- 4:16closest in my lifetime to getting Something similar,
- 4:22you know where he's not afraid to answer
- 4:24questions.
- 4:24He doesn't have a playbook Well, he might
- 4:26but I mean, you know I'm sure they
- 4:28both have thought about their answers and what
- 4:31they're gonna say if someone questions this or
- 4:33but they're They're not afraid to say sit
- 4:37and just answer questions.
- 4:39They don't have to read it off a
- 4:40prompter they don't have to get talking points
- 4:43from somebody they don't they just That's how
- 4:47you know, they're speaking at least they believe
- 4:50what they're saying, right So this wasn't like
- 4:53a triumph performance or anything like that.
- 4:56It was no No exercise in justifying moves
- 5:00that have been done.
- 5:01It wasn't anything like that it was a
- 5:03public administration of crisis for real and it
- 5:07was like a like a rare phenomenon in
- 5:10age of Tiny short 15-minute press briefings
- 5:14that they leave early from and they got
- 5:16a note card to follow and that's it
- 5:19And that doesn't happen with putin anyway, and
- 5:21you can say all the same sorts of
- 5:23things You know negative if you want to
- 5:25but lukashenka from belarus, but he's the same
- 5:28way I've watched press conferences with that guy
- 5:31where he'll sit and talk for hours at
- 5:33a time and take all kinds of questions
- 5:35you know western questions friendly questions Non-friendly
- 5:40questions antagonistic questions and he has no problem
- 5:43answering any of them and putin is the
- 5:45same way and this was not um You
- 5:49know no carefully screened questions here.
- 5:52I'm sure there were some prepped.
- 5:53I mean, especially in the beginning there were
- 5:55some prepped prepped ones, but the key difference
- 5:58between the russian president and our Our Well,
- 6:04I won't call it our let's call it
- 6:06western elitist political discourse in recent years Isn't
- 6:11in the tone, but in the method So
- 6:14like lukashenka like putin they consistently turn to
- 6:18the chronology the 80s german reunification security assurances
- 6:24minsk agreements Istanbul negotiations and failure and an
- 6:28attack against them by people like boris johnson
- 6:32So it's not an appeal to emotion.
- 6:34It's a legal and historical logical chronology, right
- 6:39And here's where the paradox comes in in
- 6:42the west such references are often dismissed as
- 6:45excuses In reality, they serve a different function
- 6:50in my opinion.
- 6:51They they challenge the central I don't know
- 6:54belief structure of the prevailing western narrative That
- 6:58the conflict began suddenly it began with no
- 7:02cause, you know this Unprovoked that constantly you
- 7:06hear in the west this unprovoked attack by
- 7:10russia You know, it's nonsense Economist jeffrey sacks
- 7:14very far removed from the russian government has
- 7:17long pointed To the documented assurances given to
- 7:20the soviet union and later to russia That
- 7:23nato would not expand one inch eastward These
- 7:29assurances were repeated by multiple western officials.
- 7:33This was bush one This was the germans
- 7:36before reunification Promised that they would do this.
- 7:40They were never formalized in a treaty form
- 7:42And therein lies the historical trap they exist
- 7:46within a framework of trust mutual trust Which
- 7:50was gradually replaced by logic of oh, well,
- 7:55if there's no paper, you know, we didn't
- 7:56agree.
- 7:57We don't have any obligation right, and so
- 7:59when One defining feature of the current moment
- 8:05is that the west increasingly denies Not merely
- 8:10the interpretations of the past But the existence
- 8:14of past commitments themselves Nobody said that we
- 8:18didn't put it on paper.
- 8:19So the shift from debate to erasure of
- 8:24history Is a qualitative change history ceases to
- 8:29be a field of argument and becomes I
- 8:33don't know some kind of an object of
- 8:35editorial revisionism, right you get to revise everything
- 8:39Oh that did happen and against this back
- 8:42I know you got to do is go
- 8:43back and listen to it.
- 8:45Go watch it.
- 8:45Go find it You can find it anywhere
- 8:47these days in against this backdrop When I
- 8:52also watched uh as usual once a week,
- 8:54I tried to watch uh, vladimir soloviov and
- 8:56and it was critical highly Um, you know
- 9:00sharp emotionally charged.
- 9:02It's a different role.
- 9:03They weren't It wasn't explanatory.
- 9:06It's accusatory He doesn't argue whether promises were
- 9:09broken.
- 9:10He says the west no longer even pretends
- 9:12those promises existed In his framework, this isn't
- 9:16an error, but a deliberate strategy the removal
- 9:20of moral responsibility through Institutionalized forgetfulness, right?
- 9:27The second critical line of analysis is economic
- 9:32Right notably the economic portion of putin's press
- 9:36conference was, you know, pretty boring, right?
- 9:39Uh, it it was I listened to it
- 9:40But I mean, it's no triumph.
- 9:43I mean people were quizzing him Well, you
- 9:45know when are there going to be roads
- 9:46that go all the way across, you know,
- 9:48a highway that goes all the way across
- 9:49russia You know, that's difficult, you know I
- 9:52can't imagine how I mean that's and you
- 9:57know, there's they have Regional roads and stuff
- 10:00like that, but no huge highway system all
- 10:02the way across right?
- 10:04And so there was detailed discussion of deficits
- 10:08inflation reserves debt legal procedures that kind of
- 10:12thing so that The very fact that it
- 10:16was so boring is probably its most powerful
- 10:19feature against the backdrop of european Panic over
- 10:22trying to find 90 billion an aid for
- 10:25ukraine and all they wanted to do was
- 10:28steal it from russia The legal maneuvering around
- 10:31stealing that money and the fear of setting
- 10:33a horrible precedent has them running scared of
- 10:37course the russian position Of you know of
- 10:41life in general was you know, it was
- 10:42pretty Systematic, you know, the key issue is
- 10:46not numbers but trust any attempt to legitimize
- 10:50confiscation of sovereign money Undermines the architecture of
- 10:55the global financial system itself This is understood
- 10:59not only in moscow, but in riyadh beijing
- 11:02brazilia Europe's hesitation isn't a moral hesitation.
- 11:06It's structural Their concern is not ukraine alone,
- 11:09but what comes after that?
- 11:12And putin noted this and he said once
- 11:14such a process begins It won't be contained
- 11:18And that argument, you know resonates far beyond
- 11:22today's battlefield, right?
- 11:24A crucial element of this press conference was
- 11:27the human dimension that he that he brought
- 11:29in So one of the first things he
- 11:31did was he had a young Lieutenant, I
- 11:34think he was that participated in pokrovsk, which
- 11:39uh is um I can't remember krasnodar maesk.
- 11:47I think is what they call it, but
- 11:49it doesn't mean Pokrovsk is what they call
- 11:52it.
- 11:52You know what it is here.
- 11:53And uh, so um He was presented with
- 11:58no staging.
- 11:59I mean he was scared to death, you
- 12:01know Standing up there talking just a young
- 12:03soldier.
- 12:04He had no no theater.
- 12:05No, he was a symbolic function It demonstrated
- 12:08not a cult of war but a transfer
- 12:10of responsibility Um, you know soldiers To the
- 12:15state and then back again, you know what
- 12:17I mean?
- 12:17Uh western politics, uh, appeals to values We
- 12:22always talk about values But no accountability right
- 12:26the russian model You could call it controversial
- 12:30if you like, but it presented something different
- 12:34here the state Assumed obligations to families to
- 12:39veterans to demographic policy to education to all
- 12:42these things, right?
- 12:43That they talked about it's it's certainly far
- 12:46from perfect but it does show uh, like
- 12:51a chain of command of you know, how
- 12:53vertical the responsibility line goes and uh, While
- 12:57europe is debating rules.
- 12:58It no longer believes in And the united
- 13:01states is absorbed in you know morals over
- 13:04here we fight about you know, right and
- 13:06left the global south is watching And i'm
- 13:09telling you they're watching attentively china in latin
- 13:14america, which is happening Doesn't lecture about values
- 13:18to everybody else.
- 13:20It doesn't say we're going to change your
- 13:21regime.
- 13:22We're going to do this It's building ports.
- 13:24It's building railways.
- 13:26It's building energy infrastructure Africa asia and the
- 13:29middle east are all watching how the west
- 13:32treats other people's assets other people's contracts And
- 13:38commitments to other people in their own region.
- 13:41So in this context ukraine Becomes not the
- 13:45center of the world but a consuming focal
- 13:48point not because it lacks importance, but because
- 13:52you gotta If you get everybody to fixate
- 13:56on this one all important conflict You can
- 14:00obscure all this broader crap that's going on
- 14:03in the world It is quite telling that
- 14:05putin did not emphasize multi-polarity during this
- 14:09press conference.
- 14:10He did not announce it he Acted and
- 14:14spoke as if it already existed budget discipline
- 14:17infrastructure planning scientific investment demographic strategy This is
- 14:22the language of a long Long game.
- 14:25He's playing the long game.
- 14:27This is an emergency management and so The
- 14:31central question that remains after all these speeches
- 14:34that we heard over the weekend on stealing
- 14:36money versus not stealing money What are we
- 14:39gonna do?
- 14:39How are we gonna do it?
- 14:40How do we punish russia?
- 14:42How do we promote ukraine?
- 14:43How do we save the?
- 14:47Globalist elite that was How do we save
- 14:51them And listening to putin talk about these
- 14:54and all this but it's not about who's
- 14:55right It's something to me a little more
- 14:59obvious and maybe even more unsettling Why are
- 15:04some leaders?
- 15:06willing to answer Uncomfortable questions.
- 15:09I mean this was not all comfort, you
- 15:12know, this wasn't all staged, you know Uncomfortable
- 15:15questions for hours while others avoid them entirely
- 15:21It's possible, you know, we're entering an era
- 15:24in which systems are going to be judged
- 15:27not by what ideology they belong to But
- 15:31by their capacity to explain themselves to their
- 15:35own societies and then to the world Where
- 15:38explanation?
- 15:39You know is replaced By slogans like we
- 15:43do there is no trust trust is gone
- 15:46where memory survives an agency a responsibility to
- 15:51your to your uh your When it keeps
- 15:58they in russia to your to your heirs
- 16:00to the people who take over after you
- 16:02they need to be You know, it's important,
- 16:05you know With You have an agency to
- 16:08those people you have a responsibility To build
- 16:10something better than when you left it and
- 16:13the world's changing it may be You know
- 16:17quiet might be loud could be uneven but
- 16:20but it's changing and it's irreversible And the
- 16:23defining conflict of our time isn't geopolitical But
- 16:28civilizational so memory versus amnesia Administration versus propaganda
- 16:37and rhetoric responsibility versus abandonment of responsibility So
- 16:44I for me in that sense a four
- 16:47and a half hour conversation It's not an
- 16:52answer it's a diagnosis of what the problem
- 16:56really is and you know what needs to
- 16:59happen to uh Combat what's going on in
- 17:03the world?
- 17:03I mean seriously It needs to be discussed
- 17:07more and and I wanted to walk through
- 17:11this The the putin thing because i'm telling
- 17:15you that it was an interesting um Dialogue
- 17:21for sure and uh, I doubt it's out
- 17:25there, uh translated into english and over here
- 17:28Uh, you won't hear anything I want I
- 17:31tried to find it, you know, what do
- 17:32you find?
- 17:33You don't find anything and there there is
- 17:36nothing about this for our uh Conversation, you
- 17:41know, it's not there and I tell you
- 17:45what It was it was interesting to watch
- 17:50and there was like a five minute Deal
- 17:53in the beginning and the excitement in the
- 17:55room There were so many people of so
- 17:57many different ages young old in between journalists
- 18:00not journalists people from wherever I don't know
- 18:03how they get tickets to it.
- 18:04You got me How you get into that
- 18:06room?
- 18:07I assume it's uh something pretty um Unique
- 18:10and special to get in there and there
- 18:12was a guy who um, you know was
- 18:14talking about it He's a man i'm i'm
- 18:16just glad to be here and I hope
- 18:17I get to ask a question It's live
- 18:19on tv.
- 18:20They have a phone in number.
- 18:22You can call in and ask questions and
- 18:24you can have a You know you you
- 18:26have questions that were uh presented.
- 18:29Um Earlier, you know that you may have
- 18:32emailed in and so there's like a A
- 18:37ton of these questions right coming in and
- 18:40so When they introduced him, you know, the
- 18:43the moderator says, you know Like we're accepting
- 18:47questions until the end of the broadcast and
- 18:50the broadcast was four and a half hours
- 18:52And it said you can call in and
- 18:54they gave a phone number you can send
- 18:56an sms and gave another number you can
- 18:59submitted a question through vkontakte and odna klasniki,
- 19:03which is uh vk odna klasniki is uh,
- 19:07like a facebook and um in And vkontakte
- 19:11is like contacts like a linkedin more or
- 19:14less Or you can do the website Moscow
- 19:18putin.ru Or the chat bot in the
- 19:22max messenger, which is used for a first
- 19:24time this year They had a little chat
- 19:25bot the total number of questions presented exceeded
- 19:30two and a half million As of the
- 19:33moment of the broadcast when it was starting
- 19:36And so there was what they did was
- 19:38they broke it into five or six different
- 19:40topics And i'm gonna i'm gonna cover some
- 19:43of these because nobody says what he what
- 19:46he Tells his people you never get a
- 19:48translation and so Uh, she says at the
- 19:51beginning vladimir vladimirovich a huge number of questions
- 19:54concerns social policy But first and foremost are
- 19:59questions of war and peace.
- 20:00You've repeatedly said that we are ready for
- 20:03peace At the same time we are satisfied
- 20:06with the dynamics on the front So, what
- 20:09is it war or peace by what path
- 20:11will we achieve the goals Of the special
- 20:14military operation and what is happening on the
- 20:18negotiation track given president Zelensky's statement in berlin
- 20:22over the weekend that In that ukraine is
- 20:26not prepared to discuss giving up any territory
- 20:29And putin says at this point we truly
- 20:32do not see any readiness from zelensky Let
- 20:35me remind everyone how all of this began
- 20:39it began with the coup d'etat in
- 20:42ukraine in 2014 and with the deception surrounding
- 20:46the possibility Of resolving all problems peacefully through
- 20:50the minsk agreements and he's talking about the
- 20:53lies that were admitted later that said minsk
- 20:56agreements minsk one and minsk two were only
- 20:58a chance to give uh ukraine a chance
- 21:02to um Arm themselves and build their army
- 21:07and get more western weapons and stuff like
- 21:09that And so in 2022 when the situation
- 21:13reached a crisis when kiev unleashed war in
- 21:15south southeastern ukraine We told them plainly that
- 21:19we will be forced to recognize these unrecognized
- 21:23republics Because these referenda had been done in
- 21:27donbass years ago and russia kept saying look
- 21:31The referenda is there let them at least
- 21:34pick their own governors.
- 21:35You remember me telling you that story, right?
- 21:38And they kept saying look let them do
- 21:40what you said You were going to let
- 21:41them do honor minsk one and minsk two
- 21:44or we will be forced to recognize them
- 21:46and do something And it would be better
- 21:48if you simply allowed people to live peacefully
- 21:50as they wish Without coups without russophobia and
- 21:54so on this is his words simply withdraw
- 21:57your troops and that would be it But
- 21:59they refused and after negotiations in istanbul they
- 22:03initially agreed they had uh Initialed the agreements
- 22:07and then discarded them just threw them in
- 22:09the trash now They again refused to end
- 22:12this conflict through peaceful means Nevertheless, and I
- 22:16want to be precise here.
- 22:18We do see we feel and we know
- 22:20the signals Including from the kiev regime indicating
- 22:24a readiness for some form of dialogue The
- 22:28only thing I want to emphasize is this
- 22:30we have always said that we are ready
- 22:32and willing to conclude this conflict peacefully on
- 22:37the basis of the principles I outlined last
- 22:39june And only after eliminating the root causes
- 22:45that led to the crisis and they've been
- 22:47pretty clear on that and here he was
- 22:49again clear And then she says well, what
- 22:52about this situation on the front vladimir vladimirovich
- 22:55this situation on the front changes every day
- 22:57We know that you keep your finger on
- 22:59the pulse personally communicate with commanders with our
- 23:02fighters with heroes How do you assess the
- 23:04situation as of today?
- 23:07And he says just recently I heard another
- 23:11report remember me telling you about that.
- 23:13He was uh had another report from the
- 23:15general staff Last week and what could be
- 23:18said overall immediately after our troops expelled the
- 23:23enemy from the kursk region The strategic initiative
- 23:27fully and completely passed into the hands of
- 23:30the russian armed forces And the initiative has
- 23:32been with them ever since and what does
- 23:35this mean?
- 23:36It means that our troops are advancing along
- 23:38the entire line of contract some contact I
- 23:41mean somewhere faster somewhere slower, but in all
- 23:45directions the enemy is retreating so and then
- 23:50they got into you know, you know some
- 23:52of the battlefield discussions on on some of
- 23:55the things that came out and In seversk
- 23:58when they were talking about seversk Um, they
- 24:03putin said after our forces expelled the enemy
- 24:06from kursk.
- 24:08Um, um The general staff commander and Reported
- 24:13about the capture of seversk and this is
- 24:16an important settlement settlement.
- 24:18And like I told you before because from
- 24:20here opportunities open up for movement toward one
- 24:24of the main fortified areas toward slavyansk And
- 24:28to the south our units are are operating
- 24:30that you know I really don't want to
- 24:32go too far into this because it doesn't
- 24:33matter the agglomeration Also includes konstantinovka And the
- 24:38wider operational picture very important is krasna armysk.
- 24:41That's pokrovsk Because it opens a significant operational
- 24:45opportunities and then to the northeast lies demitrov
- 24:49Which is an important staging area and 50
- 24:51percent of the cities in there and then
- 24:53he talked about zaporizha harkov and sumy and
- 24:56so the sumy one I was telling you
- 24:59about last week and he spent a little
- 25:01bit of time on it too because what
- 25:04um Sierski had to do was he pulled
- 25:08people from the sumy region and sent them
- 25:11down to create something so that Uh, there
- 25:15would be some propaganda to sling out about
- 25:19down and put pokrovsk because they wanted to
- 25:23use it to attack and they kept and
- 25:25then Uh, they pulled some and sent them
- 25:27off to the east into saverskins.
- 25:29And so russia kicked further into sumy region
- 25:34And so they're they're getting their butts handed
- 25:36to them over there and nobody ever talks
- 25:39about it So the city of volchansk has
- 25:41been taken and that's in sumy And in
- 25:43harkov kupyansk is under the control several weeks
- 25:46ago, and he talked about all of this
- 25:49said that there's uh, uh Plenty there's still
- 25:53people encircled over there, right?
- 25:55And then the moderator wanted to talk specifically
- 25:58about saverskin the reason now i'm I don't
- 26:02want to say it was staged, but it
- 26:03probably was at least, you know teed up
- 26:06You know what?
- 26:06I mean because this is the one where
- 26:09zelensky, you know made a fake video And
- 26:12and people want to call him on it
- 26:14And he said you may have seen the
- 26:16reports from the general staff the grouping commander
- 26:19and the brigade commanders who fought there I
- 26:21asked him at the time.
- 26:23How do you assess this situation in savers?
- 26:25Do you control the city and he said?
- 26:28We are already advancing westward my brigade brigade
- 26:32has moved one and a half to two
- 26:34kilometers west So the advance is continuing.
- 26:39You may remember the moment the storm group
- 26:41reported live from inside savers At the end
- 26:45I asked if they were changing their positions
- 26:48quickly and yesterday at a ministry of defense
- 26:51meeting We were we awarded the fighters who
- 26:54participated in the liberation of saversk and after
- 26:58that I I invited one of the commanders
- 27:02and this is where he invited um this
- 27:06lieutenant um naran Alexeyevich Uh to give him
- 27:12a microphone the guy was he appeared scared
- 27:15He he was scared.
- 27:17Let's put it that way and uh the
- 27:19moderator when he stands up he goes, uh
- 27:22Uh, and putin let him speak for a
- 27:24little while, you know, and he didn't interrupt
- 27:26him didn't say anything.
- 27:27He did.
- 27:28Um, uh, he said We saw you in
- 27:32a video link wearing a helmet, but we
- 27:34haven't been formally introduced Could you tell us
- 27:37a little bit about yourself where you're from?
- 27:39How long you've been in the operation how
- 27:41you got started?
- 27:42He said i'm from Kalmykia, I started as
- 27:46a simple soldier first as a driver I
- 27:48worked my way up from an assault trooper
- 27:51to the commander of an assault company And
- 27:54putin says to him naran Alexeyevich is being
- 27:57modest.
- 27:58He began as a driver and now he
- 27:59commands an assault company with more than 80
- 28:03men Under his command.
- 28:05He's a hero of the russian federation and
- 28:08deservedly so And uh, he said tell us
- 28:11what you can about the operation to liberate.
- 28:14How did it come about?
- 28:16He said the most difficult part was reaching
- 28:19seversk without being detected the terrain is open
- 28:22and very few Uh natural shelters, so we
- 28:26made the decision to go in in small
- 28:28groups covertly and the task was completed we
- 28:31assembled, um There without being detected waited our
- 28:35orders and launched an assault and he said
- 28:38we're this is the interesting part Were there
- 28:41still civilians in the city?
- 28:43He said yes, they had lived for a
- 28:45long time in constant fear When we began
- 28:48communicating with civilians after liberating the sector we
- 28:52learned That as ukrainian forces withdrew They were
- 28:57shooting civilians who refused to leave with them
- 29:01And the moderator said unarmed civilians and he
- 29:04said yes, especially young men aged 30 to
- 29:0840 They were taken out and executed And
- 29:12the moderator says so how did the people
- 29:15react when you entered the city?
- 29:17He said they were living in difficult physical
- 29:19and psychological conditions and when they saw us
- 29:23they were happy They listened to russian radio
- 29:26and were waiting How many people are under
- 29:29your command and what were your losses?
- 29:32He said my assault group has 157 men
- 29:35During the storming of the city 84 men
- 29:38were involved.
- 29:39Our losses were minimal four men during the
- 29:43assault And they said thank you, you know
- 29:46and let him go on so they let
- 29:48that guy speak for a little while, you
- 29:50know And staged not staged who the hell
- 29:53can tell you know, I but it appeared
- 29:55that the guy was scared Scared to death,
- 29:59you know what I mean?
- 30:00And he was pretty young lieutenant type and
- 30:02you know, he he uh, but he uh,
- 30:05you know, he Presented himself fairly well for
- 30:08for for not being scared and then they
- 30:11talked about uh last week Zelensky recorded a
- 30:14video near the city sign of kupyansk Many
- 30:19immediately noticed that the signs, uh of it
- 30:22suggesting that it was staged if this really
- 30:25was a fake How could zelensky decide to
- 30:28engage in such deception?
- 30:30On this scale at such a critical moment
- 30:34And here's what putin said He said I
- 30:37don't follow this too closely Zelensky is an
- 30:41actor after all and a talented one and
- 30:44I say this, you know without irony We
- 30:46know that from his films in early years.
- 30:49So there's nothing unusual here They say the
- 30:52city sign now looks completely different, but that
- 30:55is not the point The sign itself is
- 30:58located at least a kilometer away from the
- 31:01city So if kupyansk were really under their
- 31:03control why stand outside the doorstep?
- 31:07Go inside the house some female bloggers managed
- 31:11to slip through and Thank god that nothing
- 31:14happened to them and they videoed it but
- 31:17the sky was There is literally full of
- 31:20drones both ours and ukrainian So it's impossible
- 31:24to approach the center of the city freely
- 31:26The time will come when our troops finish
- 31:29destroying the encircled enemy grouped on the northern
- 31:32eastern bank of the osco And then turn
- 31:34western westward as for all these staged acts
- 31:39or attempts to reclaim lost positions at all
- 31:42costs As is happening now near krasna armaysk.
- 31:46The enemy is achieving no success The problem
- 31:50for them is that a result Of the
- 31:52active and effective action of our troops the
- 31:56enemy has suffered very serious losses in their
- 31:59strategic reserves Which are practically gone This is
- 32:05a very significant factor That will push the
- 32:08kiev regime toward resolving disputes and ending this
- 32:11conflict by peaceful means And that was it
- 32:15on the war.
- 32:16So then they switched to the economy and
- 32:19the moderator says Reserves are nearly gone and
- 32:22war is a heavy burden on their economy.
- 32:25Um the european piglets She called them Continue
- 32:31doing everything they can to destroy the russian
- 32:34economy and under such conditions Are we even
- 32:37able to talk about economic growth here in
- 32:41russia?
- 32:41And where are we growing and where are
- 32:45we not growing?
- 32:47And and this was interesting um when he
- 32:50said as Usual for such events.
- 32:53I brought a table with me all open
- 32:56data sources Showing what has happened in our
- 32:59economy over the past year He said gdp
- 33:02growth this year is only one percent But
- 33:05if we take the last three years, which
- 33:07is a fair calculation, the total growth amount
- 33:10was nine point seven percent And over that
- 33:13same period growth in the euro zone was
- 33:17only three point one percent The lower growth
- 33:20rate this year was a decision by the
- 33:23government and the central bank To control inflation
- 33:27is what he said Uh, the target was
- 33:30to reduce inflation By year's end this year
- 33:34it will be at five point seven to
- 33:37five point eight percent So slowing growth is
- 33:40a conscious price paid to preserve economic quality
- 33:45and macro economic stability Then he talked about
- 33:51wage growth he talked about debt and he
- 33:55said The debt was important to me.
- 33:58So the deficit was two percent And next
- 34:01year it'll be one point six percent and
- 34:04over a three-year period.
- 34:05It hasn't exceeded one point five percent State
- 34:09debt is extremely low and this is higher
- 34:13than it has been in in Other years
- 34:16that I have seen Seventeen point seven percent
- 34:19of gdp And it won't exceed twenty percent
- 34:24You know in the coming years and for
- 34:26comparison France's public debt is around 120 And
- 34:31its budget deficit is six percent And the
- 34:35u.s is is far greater The key
- 34:39achievement is that the budget has been balanced
- 34:41at a quality level comparable to 2021 So
- 34:46we meet all of our social obligations develop
- 34:49national projects pursue technological development and ensure the
- 34:53needs of the armed forces This demonstrates stability
- 34:57the economy and finance under the control of
- 35:00the government in the central bank So then
- 35:05he wanted to talk about brussels or the
- 35:07moderator did anyway in stealing the money and
- 35:11she said They're trying to seize russian assets
- 35:15and he goes theft is not the right
- 35:17word theft is secret He said what they
- 35:21are attempting is open robbery And why is
- 35:24it failing because the consequences to the robbers
- 35:28could be very severe One idea is to
- 35:31issue loans secured by our assets, but issuing
- 35:35loans increases public debt of the issuing country
- 35:39So these obligations must appear in national budgets
- 35:44France has already 120 public debt and more
- 35:48obligations we'll see what happens then because remember
- 35:52i'm i'm pointing this out because uh, uh,
- 35:57Macron is uh, not very well thought of
- 36:01his Uh likability rating is like 10.
- 36:05It's pretty bad And so many countries store
- 36:09their reserves in brussels and in these companies,
- 36:12especially oil producing states And these oil producing
- 36:17states are watching and doubts are rising so
- 36:23Once such a precedent is set it can
- 36:25be replicated Under any pretext today.
- 36:29The pretext is ukraine tomorrow.
- 36:31It could be values ideology or cultural policy
- 36:36This threatens the foundation of the global financial
- 36:40systems And whatever they steal one day, they
- 36:44will have to return it.
- 36:45We will defend our interests including in courts
- 36:49seeking jurisdictions independent of political pressure so these
- 36:54are these were pretty good answers that he
- 36:56was given and uh, you know, it's It's
- 37:00one one story and and it's so different
- 37:03from what we saw in the um European
- 37:07summit or the eu summit last last week
- 37:10which was Really?
- 37:12We're going to get that money for ukraine
- 37:14any way we can and we're going to
- 37:16agree We're not member ursula von der leyen
- 37:18said we're not going to leave Until we
- 37:21have the money for them.
- 37:23That's what she said This summit will continue
- 37:25until we have the money for them and
- 37:27they were thinking there were there was only
- 37:29two ways to get it either steal the
- 37:32russian money and convince brussels to give it
- 37:34up or Figure out a way to loan
- 37:37it to them and they figured out a
- 37:38way to loan it to him because the
- 37:40stealing of russian Money is probably not a
- 37:43good idea politically economically legally at all It's
- 37:47bad news so then they got into science
- 37:51and and research infrastructure, um, and journalists journalists
- 37:56from novosibirsk said, uh, Novosibirsk is famous for
- 38:01academic Academe gorodok, which means academy the academy
- 38:06city and with with support from the country
- 38:11construction of the siberian, um Circular photons or
- 38:15skiff has begun the facility is unique not
- 38:18only for russia But globally and despite sanctions
- 38:22and economic pressure it was built entirely with
- 38:25domestic production And will launch next year How
- 38:29can we ensure that our young scientists stay
- 38:32in russia?
- 38:34and Putin says thank you for bringing this
- 38:38up It is very good news The idea
- 38:41arose during the presidential council on sciences in
- 38:44novosibirsk in 2018 And scientists from the academy
- 38:49of scientists and the institute of nuclear physicists
- 38:53Raised the need for this accelerator particle accelerator
- 38:57facility They were delays due to sanctions, but
- 39:00the work has been completed and this is
- 39:02a very big success story And a similar
- 39:05system will be created in vladivostok and in
- 39:08other regions So it's important because it allows,
- 39:12uh, both fundamental and applied research in pharmaceuticals
- 39:16new material and much more And he said
- 39:19how do we keep our young specialists first?
- 39:22Infrastructure true scientist is driven by work by
- 39:25opportunity Wages housing quality of life and we
- 39:30are in developing the entire system grants so
- 39:34-called mega grants And they're talking about international
- 39:40infrastructure projects and this focus on international Infrastructure
- 39:48is a very big deal We can't even
- 39:52put together here in in the united states
- 39:54an infrastructure deal we're so All the money
- 40:00goes to the states, right?
- 40:02So so you won't get I mean california
- 40:05has screwed up this.
- 40:06Uh, Rail this high-speed rail It's been
- 40:10screwed for from the get-go and they
- 40:13haven't built any you know And all the
- 40:15money's gone already and where did it go?
- 40:18And there's no National Infrastructure movements because all
- 40:23the money goes to the states and then
- 40:26it gets distributed Through the political channels that
- 40:29way and and i'm not I don't know
- 40:31what the right answer is for us to
- 40:33do it And there's you know these national
- 40:37um forms of movements, it's it's Since there's
- 40:42only one government and since we're a republic
- 40:45and we can't really do what we do
- 40:47it'd be like Uh, it seems to be
- 40:49similar the high-speed rail projects, but they
- 40:52have that in the euro zone some of
- 40:54the high-speed rail is funded through their
- 40:57their euro and I wonder I mean we
- 41:01have a federal highway system But the money
- 41:05goes to the states if you drive through
- 41:07for example, um, I like driving through.
- 41:10Um, Alabama, you know, you got alabama has
- 41:14great roads.
- 41:15I mean whatever happens there They're taking the
- 41:18federal money and actually using it on roads
- 41:21And if you go to some other states
- 41:23you go down the road and you're going
- 41:24thump thump thump thump thump thump thump And
- 41:27you're hitting hitting crappy roads And if and
- 41:30trucks don't want to drive in the in
- 41:33the right lane They want to stay in
- 41:35the left lane because the right lane is
- 41:37destroyed And there's plenty of places where that
- 41:40takes place And and even in the international
- 41:43highway system And if you've driven anywhere, you
- 41:46know, this is true And uh, you know,
- 41:49there's the the money goes down to the
- 41:51states And so I don't know if we
- 41:53got to change our system or whatever and
- 41:56and you know The russian system's far from
- 41:58perfect too, you know, the best roads i've
- 42:01been on in a long time were in
- 42:02columbia Those were fantastic and then in morocco
- 42:07Surprisingly, they had a great a great country
- 42:11system I went all the way around the
- 42:13entire country of morocco and they had great
- 42:15highway systems now I had some crappy roads
- 42:18and off places too, but you could get
- 42:20between anywhere you wanted to go and so
- 42:23um, you know, we infrastructure They want to
- 42:26they were talking about they want to send
- 42:29their uh, you know trying to send Children
- 42:32to school abroad.
- 42:33He wanted to combat that and since it's
- 42:35become mostly Impossible these days, you know, that's
- 42:39that's uh, you know Talking about it.
- 42:43This journalist wanted to talk about.
- 42:45Um Another program that they had called time
- 42:48of heroes.
- 42:49It's a program to place veterans of the
- 42:52special military operation into leadership roles in the
- 42:56government And putin says well, it only made
- 42:59sense, you know, he participated purposefully in this
- 43:04movement and he said You know the veterans
- 43:07of the great patriotic war World war ii
- 43:11that is they returned from the front and
- 43:13achieved extraordinary success in science education culture many
- 43:18in my own Of my own professors.
- 43:21He said were war veterans one had lost
- 43:24his legs, but was a brilliant specialists Why
- 43:27should today's fighters be any different?
- 43:30Look at naran alekseevich.
- 43:32That's the guy who was talking about at
- 43:34first.
- 43:35He said yes doubts at first One thing
- 43:37is fighting.
- 43:38It's another to manage an institution, but hundreds
- 43:40of thousands are serving And not all want
- 43:43civil careers, but those who do have potential
- 43:47and the state has to create opportunities for
- 43:49them You know and he went on in
- 43:51that regard And uh talked about the unity
- 43:55of the peoples of russia and 2026 is
- 43:58declared the year of unity Um and they
- 44:02pursue the target of supporting culture and languages
- 44:05of russia's peoples now remember russia has some
- 44:1015 20 different languages in its in its
- 44:13uh borders And yakusha is developing But also
- 44:19provide exceptional, you know, uh soldiers and you
- 44:23know There's film and there he talked about
- 44:25film traditional values and blah blah blah It
- 44:28went that was pretty good.
- 44:29He talked about so then people started getting
- 44:32you know they were talking about support for
- 44:34soldiers and families and Question was you've said
- 44:39that supporting five fighters is not a fashion
- 44:42trend But a duty and while preparing for
- 44:45today's program we did review a large number
- 44:48of appeals There are noticeably fewer appeals from
- 44:51servicemen And their families than in previous years
- 44:56And we know that work is being done
- 44:58by the ministry of defense the defenders of
- 45:01fatherland foundation People's front named a bunch of
- 45:05places, but the problems do remain delays in
- 45:09payments paperwork, especially the search for missing servicemen
- 45:14And she said many issues are now being
- 45:17resolved And the moderator gave a bunch of
- 45:19examples and there was a video appeal of
- 45:22from the widow of a fallen soldier and
- 45:26the video message was from a lady named
- 45:29christina grebia from novosibirsk And she gave her
- 45:32name.
- 45:33She said i'm the wife of a serviceman
- 45:35who was killed in the special military operation
- 45:37We live in novosibirsk.
- 45:39We have two children six and four years
- 45:41old to this day We have not received
- 45:44the survivor's pension.
- 45:46We do not have official certificates entitling us
- 45:49to benefits My husband died in january of
- 45:532024 The death certificate was issued on december
- 45:5710 of 2024 It's now the end of
- 46:002025 and our pension has still not been
- 46:03paid Can the processing of such cases be
- 46:07accelerated?
- 46:09now that's A hell of a long time
- 46:11and this can't have been a comfortable question.
- 46:13It sure didn't look, you know comfortable You
- 46:16know and he said first of all, I
- 46:18want to apologize to you I apologize for
- 46:20the sluggishness of services that are supposed to
- 46:23handle such everyday matters Um, he said, uh,
- 46:27I assure your case will be resolved quickly,
- 46:30but the problems do exist Recently and at
- 46:34sevilla the head of defenders of fathers fatherland
- 46:37and ministry of defense reported some other things
- 46:41to me unfortunately Coordination between the ministry of
- 46:44defense and the social services still doesn't function
- 46:48completely without error Excess bureaucracy does exist documents
- 46:55may be lost between departments And decisions will
- 46:59be delayed in your case with two children.
- 47:03These issues must be resolved without delay And
- 47:06he says there's another problem of missing servicemen
- 47:09This is clearly visible from the number of
- 47:12appeals we receive What can be done a
- 47:15central coordinating center for such searches for missing
- 47:19servicemen has been established And there are dedicated
- 47:22units in the military grouping So they got
- 47:25their problems, too Then there was request for
- 47:28oversight and he talked about that and these
- 47:31were clearly uncomfortable Questions for him and then
- 47:36there's a huge problem this surprised me a
- 47:38little bit i've heard about it before You
- 47:40know because I read the newspapers over there
- 47:43and I have heard about it, but they
- 47:44have a huge telephone fraud problem And I
- 47:48think i've spoken about it here in the
- 47:50past where there have been uh efforts from
- 47:55ukraine To call and i've told you about
- 47:58the ones like I think I said one
- 48:00even last week.
- 48:01There was a girl who was Convinced to
- 48:03go pick up bombing things because they say
- 48:06they're there that she has to and that
- 48:08they work for the security services and In
- 48:11russia, and they got to go pick this
- 48:13up and drop it off here and it
- 48:14turns out to be uh, um scammers, you
- 48:18know And this telephone fraud is a pretty
- 48:22pretty big problem And he wants to know,
- 48:25you know, the number of these crimes have
- 48:27fallen um And the fraud is still there
- 48:32And with the development of ai criminals are
- 48:35only improving their methods And he urges the
- 48:39city the citizens that the moment anyone starts
- 48:42talking about money or property Hang up immediately
- 48:45and don't say anything else Resolve financial issues
- 48:49only in person with institutions that you actually
- 48:52know and wow, this was uh A pretty
- 48:58big topic then they talked about taxes and
- 49:02Small business and there were some uncomfortable stuff
- 49:06my point in bringing this out to you
- 49:09Because they talked about culture cinema national narratives
- 49:13and culture You know efforts and censorship Um,
- 49:19some argue that culture today is overly regulated.
- 49:23Where is the line?
- 49:25and he said, uh No one's creativity is
- 49:29prohibited But when public money is used society
- 49:32has the right to expect its basic values
- 49:35are respected It's not censorship.
- 49:38It's accountability he says now i'm not positive
- 49:42I agree with all of that, but um,
- 49:44I mean I don't it didn't go far
- 49:47enough into it for me to uh to
- 49:49get it.
- 49:50But uh, he's he talked about personal connections
- 49:55And the memory of how a child Sees
- 50:01how the family honors its Elders, you know
- 50:06that type of thing and how schools tell
- 50:08the stories of a local hero or how
- 50:11films honestly portray sacrifice that the he's talking
- 50:15about a collective memory And I mean it
- 50:20was very interesting to hear this and uh,
- 50:22I don't know He said, uh, the journalist
- 50:26last question was um Well, it really wasn't
- 50:30the last question, but this last one i'm
- 50:32going to talk about said that on emigration
- 50:35Leaving the country many people left russia in
- 50:38recent years And some are returning What is
- 50:43your attitude about this?
- 50:46And he said we've never closed the door.
- 50:48He said people leave for many reasons career
- 50:51curiosity family He said but russia is not
- 50:55hostile to those who left those who return
- 50:58and want to work They are welcome.
- 51:00What matters is not where you were But
- 51:03what you intend upon your return?
- 51:06and uh, so, you know, they were talking
- 51:09about this because One of the troubles that
- 51:11they have over there uh is growth and
- 51:15that the the growth of the family he
- 51:18talked at length about um, Uh the benefits
- 51:21that they give to families, so there's Payments
- 51:26for having children, you know in the large
- 51:28family you get a larger payment and they're
- 51:30pretty serious uh Payment issues, you know, there's
- 51:35a lot of money that is uh, that
- 51:37is Spent on that, you know and and
- 51:42the reason I spent so much time on
- 51:45that is because Of the excuse me of
- 51:50the uh, the I don't know it seems
- 51:54like When somebody is willing to sit for
- 51:58that long and answer questions I mean you
- 52:02could argue that you know, you get all
- 52:04g russian propaganda misinformation disinformation, whatever you want
- 52:08to call it but And and I don't
- 52:11call it that I say it's a guy
- 52:16Connecting With with the people they focus a
- 52:20great deal upon the youth they They don't
- 52:25believe and and and i'm going to switch
- 52:28into um the the jeffrey sacks and You
- 52:33know the rewritten history you know of of
- 52:37what has happened since the 90s and all
- 52:39of that that makes this type of Discourse
- 52:43so important and and at least in my
- 52:46view because it doesn't happen.
- 52:48Um in other places, you know, it Doesn't
- 52:52even happen here as much as it needs
- 52:55to you know here.
- 52:56We got people who won't explain anything They
- 53:00don't explain a damn thing.
- 53:02They go do what they're gonna do you
- 53:04get into office and then you you know
- 53:07You all your only job is to stay
- 53:09there and you do that by keeping quiet
- 53:12You know unless you got gold to be
- 53:14the president yourself, then you you you make
- 53:17sure to stay on top of the scam
- 53:19You know of what is going on and
- 53:21and i'm i'm not saying it's any different
- 53:23in russia.
- 53:24I don't know.
- 53:25I don't live there but it's um And
- 53:28but I do pay attention and the differences
- 53:30to me are striking in at least a
- 53:34way that people Speak, you know putin's got
- 53:37a pretty big A percentage of people that
- 53:42trust what he is doing over there and
- 53:44the people in general are I I don't
- 53:49I don't even want to say that it's
- 53:51they're all for it But they certainly understand
- 53:54it and they know what they are fighting
- 53:56for They are fighting for their You know
- 53:59their own country And we've gotten so far
- 54:03away from fighting for our own country and
- 54:06we're on some global dominance thing At least
- 54:09it appears in my lifetime to have been
- 54:11this global dominance thing that we're forgetting what's
- 54:14important And what's important is the basis of
- 54:17what we?
- 54:18are accomplishing here And and what we want
- 54:23to leave to our children here Is it
- 54:26matter if we?
- 54:28Take over the world for our children.
- 54:30No It matters what we leave them here
- 54:33and we leave it in a better condition
- 54:36Than when we took it over from our
- 54:39parents and i'm not so positive that's the
- 54:41case you know, i'm really not I I
- 54:44hope that that the old trumpster is helping
- 54:47us change this but If you don't understand
- 54:51your past, how can you figure out where
- 54:53the hell you're going?
- 54:55And we are We've destroyed the past for
- 54:58the last 20 years here, maybe longer and
- 55:02uh, you know, uh You know, I like
- 55:06to watch uh, jeffrey sacks if you pay
- 55:08attention to me at all, and I I
- 55:10think the guy is You know, he had
- 55:12another um He gave an another assessment here
- 55:16recently um And you know, I want to
- 55:19talk a little bit about the broken promises
- 55:21of history Recent history, you know, why does
- 55:261990 still matter?
- 55:29so if if putin is right that Responsibility
- 55:33begins way before 2022.
- 55:35He is by the way Who broke the
- 55:38chain first?
- 55:39so jeffrey sacks Talks about the german reunification
- 55:45where germany Promised that if they were allowed
- 55:49to reunify They wouldn't expand that.
- 55:54That's it.
- 55:54You know, the the west germany is, you
- 55:57know had obviously nato And there were talks
- 56:01then That you know We'll get rid of
- 56:05the warsaw pact, you know, we'll get rid
- 56:07of it but We don't want nato expanding
- 56:11this way and we had promises from a
- 56:13lot of people from the german chancellor I
- 56:16forget his name at that time and from
- 56:19uh, uh bush one at that time that
- 56:23said uh You know not one inch eastward
- 56:29Nato expansion since that time it's like nine
- 56:33times or something like that and poland all
- 56:37the baltics Georgia and ukraine are predictable flash
- 56:41points according to sacks Well, according to me
- 56:43too if you're going to go into georgia,
- 56:45that's bad news if you're going to go
- 56:47into ukraine That's a clear red line And
- 56:50that's all we've been trying to do is
- 56:52create coups in there through through all of
- 56:55our shenanigans Around there and so when you
- 56:58listen to people like jeffrey sacks, he's pretty
- 57:02blunt about it and Soloveyov who I like
- 57:06to watch he's even he's he's quite accusatory
- 57:10And he's pretty sharp, you know, and he
- 57:13doesn't argue whether the promises were broken He
- 57:16says the west doesn't even pretend those promises
- 57:20exist anymore or exist dead ever And he
- 57:25says he calls it erasing history laundering the
- 57:29narrative and infantilization of the public You know
- 57:34turning the public into a bunch of babies,
- 57:36you know who don't pay attention and so
- 57:39How do you tie this to putin, you
- 57:41know what sacks explains academically putin has answered
- 57:45politically And soloveyov, you know, he indicts people
- 57:50for it, you know putin says we have
- 57:52to discuss the root causes soloveyov says the
- 57:58west refuses to Say what the root causes
- 58:02are, you know Those things don't exist and
- 58:05sack says but they were documented in real
- 58:09time And so when you have all these
- 58:11people all three of them are correct, by
- 58:14the way Is you know this is Why
- 58:19you hear that these explanations?
- 58:22never reach Audiences in the west.
- 58:25I mean how long did it take people
- 58:27after 2022?
- 58:30From waving their ukrainian flags all over the
- 58:33damn place To understanding that there was even
- 58:37another side of the story There's plenty of
- 58:41that going around right nobody knew And some
- 58:44people still got their heads buried in the
- 58:46sand and don't want to believe it.
- 58:48Oh, geez, you're putin apologist No, i'm a
- 58:51realist is what I am and there are
- 58:53plenty of realists out there now but there
- 58:57weren't many of us in the beginning because
- 59:00people you know You never heard the story
- 59:03of hell We didn't even know I wouldn't
- 59:05say we because I certainly knew but but
- 59:07people didn't know That this had been going
- 59:09on in the donbass since 2014 You know
- 59:13that the coup even occurred that crimea wasn't
- 59:16the issue that everybody said it was, you
- 59:19know nonsense and so You know What is
- 59:23the I mean, how do we combat this
- 59:26seriously?
- 59:28you know Did this so let's go on
- 59:32to another core question of all of this
- 59:34of all of this nonsense and all the
- 59:36people that are talking Is this 90 billion
- 59:39dollar?
- 59:41Uh euro, i'm, sorry 90 billion euro, um,
- 59:45you know panic all over western europe and
- 59:50uh, you know Russia's claim, you know that
- 59:53you better not steal our money because everybody's
- 59:56watching You know putin's saying look they're watching
- 59:59you In riyadh, they're certainly paying attention in
- 1:00:03the global south But all these oil countries
- 1:00:06are paying attention because where do we keep
- 1:00:08our money?
- 1:00:09Where do people keep their?
- 1:00:11their State assets more and more of them
- 1:00:15are switching to gold, right?
- 1:00:17And he he says, you know steal from
- 1:00:20us that means you'll steal from anybody if
- 1:00:23they you know, if they cross you that's
- 1:00:25how the System works if you're in the
- 1:00:29west if you don't, you know, kiss our
- 1:00:31rear ends politically or agree with us politically
- 1:00:36We'll take your stuff financially.
- 1:00:38We'll just Take your take your stuff So
- 1:00:42the eu and its 90 billion euro loan
- 1:00:46to ukraine Is because of its failure to
- 1:00:51seize russian assets They were scared off of
- 1:00:56that now that doesn't mean they're not going
- 1:00:57to continue along that that uh front and
- 1:01:02still try to steal them somehow, but So
- 1:01:05far the legal and debt constraints in brussels
- 1:01:08have kept them off of it And you
- 1:01:11know, this is just political theater for everybody
- 1:01:14out there For how to steal it and
- 1:01:17uh, you know soloviov goes right for the
- 1:01:20guts here He says you know the eu
- 1:01:24is afraid of setting a precedent They're afraid
- 1:01:26of courts and afraid of its own citizens
- 1:01:28and and they're trapped by their own Rules
- 1:01:32based order because now people are starting to
- 1:01:35go.
- 1:01:35Well, there are no rules.
- 1:01:37So how is this a rules-based order?
- 1:01:39And uh, you know, he mocks he he's
- 1:01:42mocking them just like I do everybody's mocking
- 1:01:45them because it's nonsense They say this is
- 1:01:47about values core values western values, but they
- 1:01:52don't explain who pays the money And so
- 1:01:54what did putin say about this?
- 1:01:56We saw it, you know He says we're
- 1:01:58trying to keep a balanced budget low debt
- 1:02:00courts about not seizing our money and long
- 1:02:03-term trust in currency has to exist so
- 1:02:08Putin spends hours explaining where the money is
- 1:02:12where it goes.
- 1:02:13Why does it matter?
- 1:02:15It spends four and a half hours talking
- 1:02:18about it and in brussels They just throw
- 1:02:20out this 90 billion and hope nobody asks,
- 1:02:23you know, where is this coming from?
- 1:02:25Because it's coming from their own funds.
- 1:02:29Germany can't afford this, you know, they're they're
- 1:02:31losing their butts And uh, their economies are
- 1:02:35tanking, you know Nobody's is is booming.
- 1:02:39Well, that's not true.
- 1:02:40India and china are doing pretty well And
- 1:02:43russia isn't stagnant.
- 1:02:45I mean they got some growth we're doing
- 1:02:46pretty well You know right now under the
- 1:02:49trumpster.
- 1:02:50That's true Um, so putin's explaining where the
- 1:02:53money is where it goes.
- 1:02:55Why does it matter, you know, and that
- 1:02:59you know Is important and that's why these
- 1:03:02narratives are so important and the questions that
- 1:03:05people ask so while the west is arguing,
- 1:03:09you know about This, you know, how do
- 1:03:11we steal money versus should we steal the
- 1:03:14money versus you know, what about our rules
- 1:03:17based order?
- 1:03:18the rest of the world is watching closely
- 1:03:21because The alignment is i'm telling you if
- 1:03:27the west is consumed by ukraine Who is
- 1:03:32shaping the rest of the board I mean
- 1:03:34seriously who is is it china and latin
- 1:03:37america?
- 1:03:38Who's building infrastructure ports rail energy, right?
- 1:03:43Rubio in his own press conference this past
- 1:03:46weekend He made accidental admissions that you know,
- 1:03:49the global south is watching this asset seizure
- 1:03:52He talked about it and he talked about
- 1:03:54china in south america And solovyov says ukraine
- 1:04:01is only a strategic distraction You know, that's
- 1:04:04what it is.
- 1:04:05He says the u.s is stuck refereeing
- 1:04:08europe's unresolved war psychology And china is building
- 1:04:13And they're building in latin america africa and
- 1:04:17asia and they're choosing delivery delivery of infrastructure
- 1:04:22delivery of of Of Capacity industry Over
- 1:04:32moral lectures, which is what we've done for
- 1:04:37Forever we morally lecture them about connect with
- 1:04:41us You know buy from and then we
- 1:04:44go steal their resources.
- 1:04:45We I shouldn't say we I should say
- 1:04:48the same old elitists make the same old
- 1:04:51money and you know, that's Tell you what,
- 1:04:57so the putin presser And the accountability and
- 1:05:02everything you put together You know four and
- 1:05:05a half hours.
- 1:05:06We hear one leader answer questions with no
- 1:05:09filter and then uh, you know I don't
- 1:05:13know that that uh kind of being put
- 1:05:17under the gun is uh Well, it's interesting
- 1:05:23to see it's it's it's very interesting to
- 1:05:26see and uh, you know, I want to
- 1:05:29contrast that with what nonsense we have going
- 1:05:32on in the eu right now, right we
- 1:05:34have get this so a court has forced
- 1:05:41collis kaja kaya collis to uh Um get
- 1:05:45this this is an interesting story the eu
- 1:05:47foreign policy chief kaya collis Was forced by
- 1:05:52the court to publicly retract false Statements that
- 1:05:57she made about an estonian opposition politician in
- 1:06:02a social media post in february of 2022
- 1:06:07Collis estonia's prime minister at the time and
- 1:06:11now she's eu foreign foreign representative claimed the
- 1:06:15police were attacked at a protest that was
- 1:06:18organized by the other side And the foundation
- 1:06:23for the protection of family and tradition that
- 1:06:25he headed So she linked the same guy
- 1:06:29to covet 19 restrictions rallies and She was
- 1:06:34sued She got sued in 2022 And they
- 1:06:39sued her saying her claims had no factual
- 1:06:41basis and last year an estonian court ruled
- 1:06:45in their favor And found that no police
- 1:06:47were attacked at rallies organized by either of
- 1:06:50these parties and neither were linked to his
- 1:06:52this demonstration so earlier this week The estonian
- 1:06:57supreme court declined to hear her appeal and
- 1:07:01make the rule made the ruling final and
- 1:07:05uh Here's what she had to post on
- 1:07:07saturday morning.
- 1:07:08Here's her post I kaya collis published false
- 1:07:12factual claims in a post on february 17
- 1:07:162022 Stating that estonian police were attacked at
- 1:07:20a demonstration organized by varro vuglade and sap
- 1:07:25tk in tumpea and that varro vuglade and
- 1:07:29ekre organized a demonstration on october 23 2021
- 1:07:34at freedom square in tallinn.
- 1:07:37These claims are untrue She did not apologize
- 1:07:41to either plaintiff But she did put her
- 1:07:46post out as she was ordered to by
- 1:07:47the supreme court She has faced repeated criticism
- 1:07:50over the accuracy of her public statements.
- 1:07:54She recently claimed that russia invaded at least
- 1:07:5819 countries over the past 100 years None
- 1:08:02of which ever invaded or attacked russia a
- 1:08:05claim that is absolutely false The remark was
- 1:08:09later echoed by finnish foreign minister elena valentine
- 1:08:13led russian foreign ministry spokesman maria zakharova to
- 1:08:17accuse western europe of deliberately promoting the inept
- 1:08:20and uneducated to top government posts Separately Collis
- 1:08:27expressed surprise to learn that russia and china
- 1:08:30defeated fascism in world war ii Calling that
- 1:08:34something new this comment prompted russian foreign minister
- 1:08:39sergey lavrov to suggest that she should study
- 1:08:43history Which she clearly does not in which
- 1:08:47she clearly does not excel She's not very
- 1:08:51bright Collis has also faced growing criticism for
- 1:08:55her hardline approach to foreign policy and hawkism
- 1:08:59against russia Analysts and eu officials have accused
- 1:09:02her of favoring confrontation over diplomacy the czech
- 1:09:07newspaper Hn reported this month that her work
- 1:09:12style is increasingly seen as unproductive I found
- 1:09:19that comical Let's see where what other news
- 1:09:25did we have that was uh that I
- 1:09:27wanted to get to today uh witkoff um
- 1:09:33Called the talks with putin's envoy over the
- 1:09:36weekend um Productive so russia is committed to
- 1:09:41achieving peace in ukraine Uh steve witkoff described
- 1:09:47the latest negotiations in miami With kirill dimitrov
- 1:09:51as productive and constructive In a statement posted
- 1:09:55saturday witkoff said dimitrov held meetings over the
- 1:09:58past two days in florida with an american
- 1:10:00delegation including witkoff donald trump's son-in-law
- 1:10:04gerard kushner and white house official josh Greenbaum
- 1:10:09the discussions were aimed at advancing trump's peace
- 1:10:13plan for ukraine Russia remains fully committed to
- 1:10:16achieving peace in ukraine Witkoff wrote adding that
- 1:10:21moscow highly values the efforts and support of
- 1:10:24the united states And so um Kirill kirill
- 1:10:32dimitrov, uh wrote.
- 1:10:34Thank you.
- 1:10:35Miami And uh posted a he's got an
- 1:10:40interesting post on on x that uh shows
- 1:10:44a next time in moscow shirt The uh
- 1:10:49talks with dimitrov took place In separate rounds
- 1:10:52of meetings involving ukraine and its western backers
- 1:10:56according to witkoff ukrainian delegation spent three days
- 1:10:59in florida holding consultations The discussions include american
- 1:11:04representatives and key european national security advisors No
- 1:11:10result and no discussion about that Um this
- 1:11:14brand new news here car bomb killed, uh

- 1:11:42He was traveling in and detonated on monday
- 1:11:45morning southern part of the russian capital the
- 1:11:49blast damaged several other vehicles And this is
- 1:11:53the second bomb last december a bomb hidden
- 1:11:56on an e-scooter killed lieutenant general eager
- 1:11:59kirillov commander of russia's nuclear chemical and biological
- 1:12:03defense forces um in a ukrainian plot, so
- 1:12:09Um, I think this is important here china
- 1:12:14set a new monthly record Purchasing what china
- 1:12:19bought a record amount of gold from russia
- 1:12:22in november with shipments rose to almost 1
- 1:12:28billion russia's gold sales to china valued at
- 1:12:34961 million in november following october's total of
- 1:12:39130 million As moscow steps up efforts to
- 1:12:44reroute precious metal exports away from western markets
- 1:12:49In october and november last year russia did
- 1:12:52not ship any gold to china and its
- 1:12:54previous peak was just 223 million over the
- 1:13:00first 11 months of 2025 Chinese imports of
- 1:13:05russian gold were 1.9 billion dollars Wow,
- 1:13:11that's a big deal russia and china have
- 1:13:14intensified cooperation since february 2022 That's uh true
- 1:13:20true Um, where's this other story I wanted
- 1:13:26to get to um Hmm No, I already
- 1:13:33read that one Where'd it go?
- 1:13:37Damn it Uh, let's see here.
- 1:13:39Here it is.
- 1:13:40Zelensky admits that ukraine cannot afford an 800
- 1:13:47,000 man army ukraine will not be able
- 1:13:53to afford maintaining an 800,000 man army
- 1:13:57after the end of the conflict Zelensky admitted
- 1:14:01saying he wants western aid to help finance
- 1:14:05the military as part of post-conflict security
- 1:14:09in january 2025 now, I don't believe this
- 1:14:13number.
- 1:14:14Zelensky said the ukrainian army numbered 880,000
- 1:14:18troops, however Leaked versions of a u.s.
- 1:14:22Peace roadmap floated last month called for the
- 1:14:25force to be capped at 600,000 and
- 1:14:29some said that number was only 400 Kiev
- 1:14:32and its european backers have argued that ukraine
- 1:14:34needs a larger military to deter This presumed
- 1:14:38russian threat.
- 1:14:40Remember russia's taken over the planet according to
- 1:14:43uh, eu officials a claim moscow dismisses as
- 1:14:48nonsense Speaking to reporters on saturday.
- 1:14:51Zelensky was asked whether kiev would be able
- 1:14:54to support 800,000 active servicemen When the
- 1:15:00conflict is settled will ukraine be able to
- 1:15:03independently finance such an argument?
- 1:15:06Such an army if there's a ceasefire He
- 1:15:09said no it won't we don't have the
- 1:15:12financial resources Zelensky said that is why i'm
- 1:15:16holding talks with western leaders because I view
- 1:15:20partial funding of our army by our partners
- 1:15:24As a security guarantee Kiv's european backers spent
- 1:15:31weeks searching for ways to fund the collapsing
- 1:15:34economy of ukraine and the collapsing military This
- 1:15:39week they failed to approve a reparations loan
- 1:15:43backed by russia's frozen assets So They're blown
- 1:15:49in the 90 billion euro, which is 105
- 1:15:52billion dollars over the next two years and
- 1:15:55shifting the cost to their own taxpayers senior
- 1:15:59eu officials told politico The loans would cost
- 1:16:04taxpayers three billion a year in interest as
- 1:16:07long as the loans are outstanding russia has
- 1:16:11accused kiv's european backers of prolonging the conflict
- 1:16:15And they are obsessed with finding more money
- 1:16:19to continue this war They've been talking about
- 1:16:27elections, um also and You know The ukrainian
- 1:16:36leader zelensky is contradicting himself By saying he
- 1:16:41would not allow outside interference in elections while
- 1:16:45simultaneously seeking western involvement his term expired over
- 1:16:50a year and a half ago, so There's
- 1:16:52a huge huge discussion on this topic by
- 1:16:56all sorts of political people because Earlier this
- 1:17:01month.
- 1:17:01He said he was prepared to hold elections,
- 1:17:03but only if ukrainian's western backers guarantee their
- 1:17:07security Vladimir putin said moscow will consider halting
- 1:17:12deep strikes on ukraine on election day But
- 1:17:16here's the caveat The millions of ukrainians living
- 1:17:21in russia are allowed to take part in
- 1:17:24the elections Ukrainian leader said in a post
- 1:17:27on x on friday that he discussed The
- 1:17:31issue with the u.s. Officials and expects
- 1:17:34washington to impose a ceasefire to ensure safe
- 1:17:38elections.
- 1:17:39So peskov um said he's a kremlin representative
- 1:17:44Said zelensky is contradicting himself He says that
- 1:17:48he would not let anyone interfere would not
- 1:17:50let putin interfere in the elections yet He
- 1:17:53appeals to the americans so he doesn't object
- 1:17:55to interference by the americans Zelensky has insisted
- 1:17:59that voting must only be done by citizens
- 1:18:03of ukraine who are within the country on
- 1:18:06ukrainian controlled territory Claiming this would ensure fair
- 1:18:10and transparent elections while he acknowledged that there
- 1:18:14is also a practice of voting abroad He
- 1:18:17said nothing about residents of donbass which kivsto
- 1:18:21claims is Uh its territory or the millions
- 1:18:25of ukrainians living elsewhere in russia Now that
- 1:18:30number they claim is 10 million that have
- 1:18:34left ukraine for russia And there's similar amounts.
- 1:18:39I mean over here.
- 1:18:40We estimate some 400 000, I believe And
- 1:18:43there's a similar, you know, there are a
- 1:18:46couple million in uh, well, I don't know
- 1:18:48the exact number in europe But it's it's
- 1:18:51a large number and so I You know,
- 1:18:54I don't know how they do these elections,
- 1:18:57but it's um, it's the same old same
- 1:18:59old, you know How do we control it?
- 1:19:03We don't know Interesting times, however And the
- 1:19:13coast guard Is reportedly in active pursuit of
- 1:19:18another vessel The u.s has attempted to
- 1:19:22intercept a third oil tanker linked to venezuela
- 1:19:27With the coast guard in active pursuit they
- 1:19:30say in international waters The u.s official
- 1:19:33claimed the ship is sailing under a false
- 1:19:36flag and is subject to a judicial seizure
- 1:19:38order And describes it as part of venezuela's
- 1:19:43Dark fleet they call it The vessel has
- 1:19:46not yet been boarded.
- 1:19:48But if it is successful the operation will
- 1:19:51be the third such vessel seizure since december
- 1:19:55the 10th when the u.s forces seized
- 1:19:58the tanker skipper Followed by another vessel the
- 1:20:02centuries on saturday so the latest seizure Comes
- 1:20:07just days after trump announced a total and
- 1:20:10complete blockade of oil tankers Officials have yet
- 1:20:15to identify this vessel, but according to media
- 1:20:20Reports the tanker being chased is the bella
- 1:20:24one Which was previously sanctioned for transporting iranian
- 1:20:29oil U.s. Officials said the ship refused
- 1:20:32to submit to boarding and continued sailing Prompting
- 1:20:36what one official says is an active pursuit
- 1:20:40The escalating seizures are part of trump's broader
- 1:20:43pressure campaign against maduro Yes, I disagree with
- 1:20:49these things, um, let's see There were uh,
- 1:21:00there were uh, New details, do you remember
- 1:21:05me telling you about the louvre heist that
- 1:21:07happened?
- 1:21:08that chainsaw Chainsaw thieves stole over eight thousand
- 1:21:14gemstones in a carefully planned heist at this
- 1:21:19museum So this happened when did that actually
- 1:21:24occur?
- 1:21:26um, it was back in october, I want
- 1:21:28to say And it says the hall from
- 1:21:31the daylight heist at paris's louvre museum in
- 1:21:35october Has been valued at about eighty eight
- 1:21:39million euro or ninety six million Dollars with
- 1:21:44thieves making off um with gemstones set into
- 1:21:49french crown jewels Four masked men armed with
- 1:21:54chainsaws Broke into the museum on october 19th
- 1:21:58went to the apollo gallery Gallery, they cut
- 1:22:01open a display case and fled with the
- 1:22:03jewelry pieces and the heist lasted only minutes
- 1:22:06And was conducted with no one being injured
- 1:22:138482 Diamonds were stolen 35 emeralds 34 sapphires
- 1:22:19and 212 pearls So they were mounted in
- 1:22:24eight jewelry pieces that were part of a
- 1:22:26temporary exhibition on loan to the musician a
- 1:22:29museum The investigators believe the thieves targeted the
- 1:22:33items for the value of the stones rather
- 1:22:37than the Artistic significance of the jewelry police
- 1:22:41say the operation was well planned Two suspects
- 1:22:45entered the gallery while two accomplices waited outside
- 1:22:49To assist in the escape they fled using
- 1:22:52scooters And abandoned equipment used to reach the
- 1:22:56display They later determined the vehicles linked to
- 1:23:00the getaway had been stolen and altered to
- 1:23:03avoid detection CCTV footage And evidence reviewed allowed
- 1:23:10police to retrace the suspects movements before and
- 1:23:13after the robbery And they believe much of
- 1:23:15the preparation and escape was coordinated from a
- 1:23:19suburb south I'm sorry north of paris where
- 1:23:22multiple vehicles were seen leaving and returning in
- 1:23:25tightly choreographed sequence The van believed to have
- 1:23:29been used Has not been recovered two suspects
- 1:23:33were later detained and admitted their involvement one
- 1:23:38of the men 34 year old algerian Reportedly
- 1:23:41said he was a delivery driver.
- 1:23:44The second also worked in delivery The louvre
- 1:23:48which is home to the mona lisa has
- 1:23:50long faced scrutiny over security and modernization delay
- 1:23:58Yeah, the jewelry has not been recovered Investigators
- 1:24:03say it remains unclear whether the gemstones were
- 1:24:06removed from their settings sold or hidden We
- 1:24:10do not know Isn't that crazy?
- 1:24:15Mm-hmm.
- 1:24:18You want to hear some more international stuff?
- 1:24:22Denmark is slamming the completely unacceptable trump move
- 1:24:27You know the u.s. President has appointed
- 1:24:30a new envoy to greenland We haven't heard
- 1:24:33anything about this in a while.
- 1:24:35Have we that we're taking over greenland?
- 1:24:38And who's the you know, he said he
- 1:24:40will make greenland part of the united states
- 1:24:43So copenhagen is expressing outrage over president trump's
- 1:24:49announcement of the new special envoy to greenland
- 1:24:53um On sunday trump stated on his truth
- 1:24:56social account that louisiana governor Jeff landry is
- 1:25:01now going to be the special ambassador to
- 1:25:03the island explaining that he Understands how essential
- 1:25:07greenland is to our national security Landry confirmed
- 1:25:11the appointment on a post on x saying
- 1:25:13he will work to What make greenland part
- 1:25:18of the united states?
- 1:25:19So the danish foreign minister lars loke rasmussen
- 1:25:23said the development came out of nowhere and
- 1:25:27is completely unacceptable Isn't that funny according to
- 1:25:31remarks cited by television too?
- 1:25:34His department will summon the u.s. Ambassador
- 1:25:37in copenhagen to demand explanations Greenland prime minister
- 1:25:41jens frederick nielsen said the u.s Move
- 1:25:43doesn't change anything for us at home and
- 1:25:46the island still belongs to its people trump's
- 1:25:50interest in acquiring greenland from denmark Dates back
- 1:25:54to his first term but has also featured
- 1:25:56in his international rhetoric since returning to white
- 1:25:59house in january And he has not ruled
- 1:26:03out annexing the island U.s. Has maintained
- 1:26:06a military presence on the strategically important island
- 1:26:09since world war ii president jade vice president
- 1:26:13I'm, sorry, jd vance visited the u.s.
- 1:26:15Space force base on the northwest coast of
- 1:26:17greenland in march He noted that while the
- 1:26:20u.s. Does was not likely to use
- 1:26:22force to seize the territory It remained open
- 1:26:25to locals exercising their right to self-determination
- 1:26:30And breaking away from denmark and joining the
- 1:26:33united states So self-determination counts in greenland,
- 1:26:38right But not in ukraine not in donbass
- 1:26:44does it not in crimea Oh, no, no,
- 1:26:48no, they can't self-determine right Oh Trump
- 1:26:55is purging biden era diplomats in a global
- 1:26:59recall That was an interesting deal.
- 1:27:02It's a short story.
- 1:27:03So i'll share it with you Oh, you
- 1:27:05know what?
- 1:27:05I don't think i'm gonna have time i'm
- 1:27:06running out here But they're recalling he's recalling
- 1:27:10more than two dozen career diplomats from posts
- 1:27:14worldwide the ap said The move comes as
- 1:27:18part of a sweeping reshuffle under his foreign
- 1:27:21policy efforts africa has been the most affected
- 1:27:27with recalls in 13 counties including Countries jeez,
- 1:27:31why am I losing it today because I
- 1:27:33slept about an hour last night.
- 1:27:35I don't know why But it goes and
- 1:27:38fits and starts.
- 1:27:39I never sleep.
- 1:27:40It's ridiculous But africa has been most affected
- 1:27:4413 countries including nigeria Rwanda somalia asia has
- 1:27:49eight countries including philippines and vietnam four european
- 1:27:53states Armenia, macedonia montenegro and slovakia And along
- 1:27:58with two each in the middle east and
- 1:27:59the western hemisphere Politico said targeted diplomats were
- 1:28:04not given reasons for their recall Asked for
- 1:28:09comment the state department said the recalls were
- 1:28:11standard process and declined to give details but
- 1:28:16stressed that ambassadors are the president's personal representative
- 1:28:19and it his his Is his right to
- 1:28:23ensure they advance his agenda So the recalls
- 1:28:28come amid broader shifts in u.s. Foreign
- 1:28:30policy under trump He has also overhauled trade
- 1:28:36policy and what he calls reciprocal tariffs Yeah
- 1:28:43Interesting times trump is trying to divorce himself,
- 1:28:47uh, you know from nato, you know Filing
- 1:28:50for divorce Divorce is so messy and we
- 1:28:56shall see what comes of it when uh,
- 1:29:00these things uh develop I appreciate you joining
