Transcript
- 0:00My father. You know, parents, you gotta love them, but my
- 0:04god, can they embarrass you at times, especially when you're young. Right,
- 0:07and now that I am a parent, I can't wait to do it.
- 0:09They don't even know they're doing it. Like, for example, did
- 0:11you hear Travis Kelcey. Of course, Taylor swifts to boyfriend talking about the
- 0:15fact that the last game you saw her talking to his dad, Ed Kelsey.
- 0:20You know, hear a lot about dad, a lot of love for
- 0:22Mama Kelsey. Yeah, but here's Ed and he said that he was as
- 0:26nervous as all hack. Yeah, Taylor talking to dad. You already know
- 0:29you know dad like I know Dad, which is he shouldn't be talking to
- 0:32this. This is a terrifying conversation. I felt terrible. All he's doing
- 0:36is just absolutely pumping her up. He started listening to her music a little
- 0:40more. Oh that's cue. That is cute. But imagine sitting there,
- 0:44your head's trying to be in the game, and you're thinking, oh my
- 0:46gosh, do you think he's gonna tell her about this situation? Is he
- 0:49gonna embarrass me? What are you gonna do? Right? That's how I
- 0:52am with my mom in a way, when I see her talking to one
- 0:54of my friends or something, I'm like, what is she saying. My
- 0:57mom embarrassed me a lot when we were young, because, like in sport,
- 1:00you know, if I'm on the football field or if I'm on the
- 1:00baseball field, the parents are in the stands and that's where they go.
- 1:04The players, the kids, they're on the field. But my mom didn't
- 1:07understand that boundary. So there would be multiple times where why I'm on the
- 1:11wrestling mat and my mom would all of a sudden, my mom is standing
- 1:14there, like next to the coaches with a bottle of gatorade. It's like,
- 1:18here, I brought you a gate rade. I'm like, that's great.
- 1:22She would just walk onto the baseball field. Or when I was and
- 1:23I just forgot here. You'd be playing left field and Mom would just be
- 1:29like on the field playing Rover for a second with it. And my aunt
- 1:34was the same way. The most traumatic thing that ever happened to me was
- 1:36a high school baseball game. And I'm a sophomore, so I'm like one
- 1:38of the young ones on the team and wearing this heated baseball game in Dilworth
- 1:42and I'm in the dugout while the team is in the field. So I'm
- 1:45like on the bench. You got our coach who's like very intense, And
- 1:49all of a sudden, the gate swings open in the middle of this game.
- 1:53And my aunt who has a little dog, a little miniature pincher named
- 1:57Pooper stop. Pooper is the dog's name, and you know, he's like
- 2:01overfed, his bellies dragging on the ground out and the gate swings open,
- 2:06and I see Pooper walking in the dugout, followed by my aunt and she
- 2:12goes. She called me Tater. She goes, Tater, Pooper came to
- 2:15see you. And my old a sophomore in high school in my college.
- 2:20We're in the middle of this, like, you know, very intense game.
- 2:23My coach, who had a temper on him for sure, looked over
- 2:25at me and just was like, first gonna you know, kill me.
- 2:29Not a fan of Tater or Pooper, it sounds. But then he started
- 2:32he just cracked a smile, like how can you not Pooper came to see
- 2:36you? And I just went good out of here, only because he's so
- 2:40I mean at that point, because the coach is older, that's a moment.
- 2:44He loves it. You're in marriage. I mean, that's so great
- 2:47trending. Now here's what you need him. Now. Well, I'm really
- 2:52confused because I guess I'm paying fourteen ninety nine for Netflix. I have no
- 2:55idea. I thought I just had the Basic plan, but uh, according
- 2:59to Netflix, there adding three dollars to everything, so we knew there was
- 3:01going to be an increase. The Basic plan is nine ninety nine and it's
- 3:05going to eleven ninety nine. Premium Plan is nineteen ninety nine, jumping into
- 3:07twenty two ninety nine. These are the plan here with ads. I believe
- 3:13the ones sans ads. I don't think those are changing from what I understand.
- 3:17But it's all very confusing. Again, It's just a thing that comes
- 3:21out of you account every month. You don't pay much attention to it,
- 3:23and right away you're like, okay, three bucks, I'm watching it all
- 3:25the time. But then if you have Hulu Disney Plus, they're tacking on
- 3:29fees for that. Peacock haven't even dabbled into that. Peacock crazy. And
- 3:34the Basic Plan, by the way, is also no longer available for new
- 3:37members in the US. Oh, they really cracked down on the password thinking
- 3:42it worked because they said apparently they've just increased the amount of subscribers. You're
- 3:46tenfold because of all these people that were mooching out their family for so long.
- 3:50Can't we just keep it at nine ninety nine? Then Netflix now they
- 3:53got us. Now we you know, we're at their mercy. They'll charge
- 3:55whatever they want. It's like a cell phone plan. You have to have
- 3:59the cell phone, but all this stuff involved. You know, how dare
- 4:01all these companies charge us for their services. It's really bush league And speaking
- 4:05of companies that people just love to unleash on in social media land, it's
- 4:11so great to me yesterday. United Airlines they're actually doing something great. They
- 4:15are trying to speed up the boarding process. I don't like how they charge
- 4:18us for tickets, but other than that they're good. Then all the fees
- 4:21and you know, depending on what airline you fly, it does get a
- 4:24little crazy. But United is just talking about how there's no fees involved.
- 4:29It's just if you have a window seat, we want you to board the
- 4:30plane first. There's not like front to back or back to front. It's
- 4:33just windows seats first. Yeah, so everybody says, everybody, get in
- 4:35your window seats. So then you don't have to crawl over me and be
- 4:39like, oh yeah, excuse me, I'm in that one. For some
- 4:43reason, people don't get the ABC d EFG understanding where they're at. I
- 4:47know, there's bizarre to me. I get so anxious walking down that aisle
- 4:50and you see the row and you're like, okay, that person's in my
- 4:53seat. What are you doing? What are you doing? And at nine
- 4:56times out of ten they're they act like you're the one. Then you guys
- 4:59do it. Oh, I guess I'll check just in gaze. I'm wrong,
- 5:02but I know I'm not. Well. There was a lot of parents
- 5:04that were upset about this. They're like, oh my gosh, so I'm
- 5:06gonna send my two year old to a window seat. No, no,
- 5:12you're gonna be able to go on with your family. So if you're if
- 5:15you're in a reservation with a group of people, you can all get on
- 5:18board together because then your seats are right next to each other. Therefore,
- 5:24it makes sense. I just love if you are, honey, you're twenty
- 5:27five, f go good luck, Now get in there. This makes sense.
- 5:30People get so antsy about getting on the plane, like what zone they're
- 5:33in? You can tell people are cheating. It's you know, guys,
- 5:35the plane can't leave until we're all on there anyway, how anxious they get,
- 5:40Yes, the whole thing. The worst is if you are debord.
- 5:44Is it debording? Yeah, I believe it's unboarded. Whatever. Whenever you're
- 5:47getting off the airplane and you have dplane, deep plane, if you have
- 5:53a flight that you have to catch, you're running late, any of that.
- 5:56If you're in that situation, you're losing your mind, right of course.
- 6:00Yeah, But are you ever on there? Like, Okay, I'm
- 6:02with my kid. I just want to go, so you you don't let
- 6:05these people go ahead of you. Oh my gosh, I take so much.
- 6:09Okay. One people who get up right away when the plane lands and
- 6:12shoot up the aisle thinking that they're gonna get off first. Worst people in
- 6:15the world. But I love the people. If I'm like, let's say
- 6:17I'm in the aisle seat and the people who are in the window in the
- 6:20middle, I can tell they want to get up so bad. Of course,
- 6:24yes, right when the plane lands, they have already knelt like they're
- 6:27sitting there with their butts in the air. What are you doing? But
- 6:29you're gonna sit there for ten more minutes anyway. So I just enjoyed so
- 6:31much to sit there and not move a muscle, keep my headphones in,
- 6:35still sitting there, chill as can be. And they're just like, come
- 6:38on, come on, you sit right there, Bud. But you know
- 6:43I'm a sick puppy. You know I'm a sick off. You're sick and
- 6:46twisted. And uh, how about this, the Carolina Reaper, they created
- 6:49a spicy pepper. It is the spiciest one yet in ten years, you're
- 6:54the Carolina Reaper. Isn't that a pepper? So you're telling me of pepper
- 6:59created another pet they're breeding now the creator Carolina Reaper didn't do it. But
- 7:05it's called pepper X so jalapinos about five thousand on the Scoville scale for the
- 7:12heat. Yes, really, I've done your research here. I'm just trying
- 7:15to give you an example, Pike. Okay, so it's how hot a
- 7:20gelapano is five thousand, pepper X is two point six million. Geez,
- 7:27that's way more that a killer, Thankspike. I just like that they're inventing
- 7:31new food. I didn't know that was happening, just making it hotter.
- 7:34I just don't understand it, especially the older I get. I used to
- 7:38love everything hot and spicy. Post kids. Acid reflex is just brutal reflux.
- 7:44Reflux. What a night stickler this guy is. Yeah, you want
- 7:53to I'm scared to give the weather. You give the weather and I'll talk
- 7:56about the big, big announcement that people need to know about tomorrow, sunny
- 8:00and a high of sixty three. Nailed it, tike it, Amanda in
- 8:03the morning, big ninety eight point seven father, Oh, Dad's gods,
- 8:07they can embarrass you, can't they when you're a kid. There's nothing worse
- 8:11when your parents because you think your parents are the lamest people in the world,
- 8:13no matter what. So Amanda was teasing us with a little story about
- 8:16her stepdad embarrassing her in high school. And your stepdad. Lance Pants is
- 8:22his name, right, That's what I call him. First and last name,
- 8:24first name Lance, last time Pants. I've been waiting to hear the
- 8:26story from well Lance himself. Well, good morning, Lance Pants. How
- 8:31are you good, mister Pants? How are you? I'm on hunting and
- 8:35I haven't seen beer yet. You're out stand right now. I'm on hunting
- 8:39right now. Yeah, Oh gosh, we'll have to be quiet. Sorry
- 8:43to bother you, Lance Pants, but we've got some urgent matters to handle
- 8:46here. Lance. What is it a matter of reference to be an embarrassing
- 8:50story from when she was in high school that had to do with you and
- 8:54a thong? Do you remember this? No? I don't. My senior
- 8:58year, Oh yeah, oh yeah, you remember that when I we had
- 9:05gone to our house and we were taking pictures classic, yeah, yep,
- 9:09and I had forgotten something because you know, when you're a chick, you
- 9:13don't want to wear the high heels all the time. So I needed my
- 9:16sandals. I wanted my flip flops, right Lance. And then the guys
- 9:20were like, okay, okay, so Lance, continue, what did you
- 9:28what did you decide you were going to do? Well? You know what
- 9:30the song means to me, you know. So I went and found some
- 9:33of your underwear, all the boys that you were with, and I remember,
- 9:41and here's your song. I mean what? So we all go to
- 9:48Zorbas and the guys walk in and they're just all smirking, and I am
- 9:52just more I'm like, why are they kind of giggling laughing not really thinking
- 9:54it's about me? And they're like ah, and you know how you take
- 9:58a rubber band and sh you did it somebody? Oh they shot the underwear
- 10:01the white song at me and they're like a Lance gave these to us.
- 10:07Oh it was white Lance, you dirty dog. I mean I love it
- 10:11the songs. So I got her for just doing what he was asking.
- 10:15Well, Lance, thank you for sharing this story. Now go shoot a
- 10:18deer. Okay, you gotta be real quiet and pee in a bottle if
- 10:20you have to. All right, thanks Bike, Lancy Bike in a minute

- 12:56What popular game is also known as dummy boards, dad hole or doghouse,
- 13:05anybody or bag to one A little lady, you're writing a man as
- 13:13bags or corn hole. I was looking for corn hole. Gosh, I've
- 13:16never heard it be called dad hole before. Well you learned something today,
- 13:22all right? For the wind, Joanne? What is the name of the
- 13:26gorilla who was killed in twenty sixteen when a three year old fell into his
- 13:30enclosure at the Cincinnati Zoo. So sad name that gorilla? I didn't expect
- 13:37to cry today, but rest in peace? Three two one? Who was
- 13:46it? Amanda? I can't even bring myself to say his name? It
- 13:48was a tough one for you. Harambe rest in peace. King Remember all
- 13:52right? For the wind, Joan again, how many sides does a hexagon
- 13:56have? Oh? For the wind, Joanne? How many? Wow?
- 14:03Indeed, Tiffany, just because Pike made this so ridiculous, We're gonna hook

- 14:18Brothers. Fanta win Well, I really love to go to the shows and
- 14:24see the lights, the dancing, it's the whole than see it. I
- 14:28just see Joanne just shimmying and going, I'm a sucker for you. Yeah,
- 14:31I feel it. I feel it, Joanne. Well, shimmey away,
- 14:35Joanne, congratulations. Hang on, ladies, and Amanda in the morning
- 14:39on Big are you ready? That's he is piping hot today and now Amanda
- 14:48Stills, let's see. Let's see. Brought to you by JDP Electric.
- 14:52Travis Kelsey, We've seen him rocking some crazy outfits. One of the latest
- 14:56that everybody was having a heyday with was, of course, Taylor Swan's Swift
- 15:01fans would point this out. Remember those pants, I thought they looked like
- 15:05fire, but they were velvet. Apparently Taylor Swift has curtains in her home
- 15:09that looked just like that. Crazy that they would and they were doing like
- 15:13side by sides of it. Anyway, Travis comes to the curtains match the
- 15:16pants. They sure did? They sure did. I guess. Well,
- 15:22he's really embracing the fame. I like he is, and he confessed it
- 15:26takes him at least three hours to pick out his game day outfits. I
- 15:31love it, he says, I kind of just want to wear off instinct.
- 15:33Three hours is your instinct, Travis, this outfit, I'm wearing that
- 15:37out. This was instinct getting dressed in the dark, not caring at all.
- 15:41Right, what you've got on, that's well thought out. He converted
- 15:45his bedroom and his home and it has over three hundred pairs of sneakers Lavish
- 15:50Impulse purchases, but he says he doesn't care. He goes, I wear
- 15:52stuff that puts a smile on my face. Obviously not a look everybody's gonna
- 15:58like. And I'm not offetedi if somebody doesn't like it. I look like
- 16:00a clown with a fun hat on and some wacky jeans. It is what
- 16:03it is. I love it. Yeah, when you dress like that,
- 16:06it's not to please everybody. It's to be divisive, to be a conversation
- 16:10piece, and I appreciate that. Did you see him, by the way,
- 16:11talking yesterday about how all these people were saying he was trying to act
- 16:15like Taylor's security. He's like, no, I was just being a gentleman.
- 16:18I don't need you know her security to open the door, right,
- 16:22I can just do it. No, Taylor needs this man, just a
- 16:26horse of a man. And Kanye West told Elon Musk that he had signs
- 16:32of autism, and that is something that happened after a two thousand and two
- 16:37car crash. Now, there is a text message thread that was released yesterday
- 16:41between Kanye and it's not between them. It's Kanye to Elon. It doesn't
- 16:45look like Elon ever responded to anything. And it says, when are we
- 16:48going to speak? You owe me nothing. You never have to speak to
- 16:52me again. But if we do speak, the nature of the relationship has
- 16:55to change. I'm not bipolar. I have signs of autism from a car
- 16:57accident. He then was talking about how well Kim Kardashian won't let him see
- 17:00his children and said, you can't watch him keep my kids from me and
- 17:04not say anything publicly and then call yourself my friend so I can bring my
- 17:07audience to your struggling platform. Did Elon call him bipolar? Is that what
- 17:12that's referring to? Do? I think so? And I think a lot
- 17:15of people have said that, because if I remember right, he told the
- 17:19world that he had it. So at the very least, because he ended
- 17:22up canceling his tour, he was only out for like a couple of weeks,
- 17:26I want to say. And then I think for insurance purposes, because
- 17:29he would have had to pay all that he said he was bipolar and he
- 17:32was going anything he went through treatment. I know he's had mental health issues.
- 17:36I don't know if he's been diagnosed bipolar or it's just that our Twitter
- 17:38doctors diagnosed. Who knows. But at the very least, I didn't know
- 17:41car accidents could cause autism. That's I don't know what to believe about any
- 17:45of this anymore. His ex at Julia Fox that was dating him for five
- 17:49minutes. She released her tell All book, which is laughable in general,
- 17:53like, should we write a tell all book? Seems to be the thing
- 17:56right now. John Stamos is coming out with what I meant, everybody is
- 18:00doing well, we should, but we gotta have something really juicy to hook
- 18:03people. It's kind of like the Timberlake cheating, which we're about to talk
- 18:06about. Yes we will, but anyway, Julia Fox was saying how Kanye
- 18:08West was like a child having a second child. Always wanted to talk to
- 18:14him on the phone whenever they weren't together, was still wanting to be around.
- 18:17And that's the worst type of partner, the ones that always want to
- 18:19talk to you alone. Man. This book isn't even out until Tuesday,
- 18:26and we are getting bombshell after bombshell. A lot of it is about Justin
- 18:30Timberlake. I really do feel like that's only going to be a few pages
- 18:33in her book. But we're finding out that Britney spears dish that Justin Timberlake
- 18:38cheated on her with another celebrity. Fans are speculating that it is a girl
- 18:42from All Saints. Do you remember that band? Fans? So now four
- 18:52now that's what I call music. Four. I want to see that what
- 18:53that was off of jam. So she's saying she's not revealing the identity of
- 18:57the woman, saying that she's now married and has kids, and I don't
- 19:02want to embarrass her. Never mind Justin Timberlake and his wife and kids.
- 19:06We're not gonna worry about that. Oh yeah, no kidding, But well
- 19:08that I mean the her affair portion of I guess what you are about to
- 19:11get to that's been public for a while, I feel. Yeah, she
- 19:14says that she cheated on him as well with Wade Robson. Oh Wade,
- 19:18that's a Michael Jackson accuser. Yeah, and super random and a lot of
- 19:22people found out about him that way. But I remember he was on a
- 19:25few dance shows. He was a huge choreographer back in the Justin Timberlake and
- 19:29Britney Spears days. There was a TV show on MTV that he was really
- 19:33a part of. But he was on tour with her, yeah during that
- 19:34time, and in sync. So it sounds like they've both cheated on each
- 19:38other, which you know, honestly, they were both on top of the
- 19:41world. Everybody wanted them, so not the most surprising thing in the world.
- 19:44Sounds like it's just sort of a wash, So do we can just
- 19:47move on? Yeah? I just want to know what else is in this
- 19:51book because right now it all being about justin Timberlake kind of feels icky to
- 19:55me. But there's gotta be more. Well, yeah, I mean everything
- 19:57that happened after the Conservative or ship, and maybe that's where we're not getting
- 20:03any of that information. But then also how much does she really remember of
- 20:07all that? When's your your book? Come your pre order? Oh?
- 20:11Oh, your audiobook? I don't know, I've did you get the audio
- 20:15booker in the picture book? I forget which where she's saying that I've never
- 20:17bought a book before, but I've never ordered a book, so I don't
- 20:19know. Is it supposed to just slide into my d I was like,
- 20:22Hi, here's Britney Spears book. I really don't know. I'm not saying
- 20:26I've never bought a book, but this is all very new to me.
- 20:29It's like a man in the morning, Come on't get up on diage.
- 20:33You want suspect a thing when you hear that telephone room by friend's lacking?
- 20:41Never this lesson by freydun You want by Frick. Now here's a woman who's
- 20:49expecting her driveway to be poored today. She's got herself a concrete company of
- 20:53course, coming on over. So her husband let us in on that fact.
- 20:57And I think I'm going to use that to our vantage here. However,
- 21:00I'm gonna pretend to be drunk. Okay, there's no way you're gonna
- 21:03make it me a person who's never been drunk, right, no idea how
- 21:08to act, but we'll see. We'll do our best. Okay, here
- 21:10we go. Good morning, is Shauna? Yes, this is Shauna Shanna
- 21:23Babo Hopkins. Four men over here at the concrete crew is set to for
- 21:30your driveway this morning. Oh okay, great, So are we still on
- 21:33for this morning? Yeah? Yeah, we're still on all right. I
- 21:37just got to confirm your address, make sure we're driving over to the right
- 21:41place here. You still on the fourth Avenue? Yeah? Hey, are
- 21:45you feeling okay? Oh yeah, I'm fine. I just had a few
- 21:48cocktails this morning. Yeah. Anyway, just want to double check before we
- 21:52get over there. You still wanted that concrete driveway or you maybe want to
- 21:57try something different? What is something different? I don't know, wood or
- 22:03something what? No, I do not want a wood driveway? Are you
- 22:07insane? Okay, fine, that's fine with me. Can I interest you
- 22:11in one of our many color options, like you ever wanted a green driveway
- 22:17or the blue one? Uh, there's what is happening with you? Okay.
- 22:22By the way, I am not letting a drunk guy poured my driveway
- 22:26and just like, don't even show up because I'm going to go get a
- 22:29different company. But just consider the stop cancel you don't need, Okay,
- 22:32Shawna, this is a prank phone call. Nobody's drunk. Well, somebody's
- 22:36probably just not me. I was like this Pike and Amanda in the morning,
- 22:44a big ninety two point seven. Oh my god. It's one of
- 22:47those things I totally should have known. I mean, the slurring at the
- 22:51beginning was like a little tip off, but I was like, you know,
- 22:52some people just don't speak clearly, right, terified. It's definitely one
- 22:57of those things. We call it Pike's prank. And this, of course
- 23:00was the doing of your husband, who knows all about the concrete, so
- 23:04he let us sit on that little secret. And your husband wanted to set
- 23:08you up and have a little fun. So it's all in good fun,
- 23:11right, Oh, all in good fun. But I'm definitely gonna let raw.
- 23:15I don't know if to get him back somehow, Maybe I'll be calling
- 23:17you to help me out. Well, sure, we love the all about
- 23:22in the morning, Big Nutty eight point seven. You believe it's already all
- 23:25over Halloween. I feel like it's only September. It's hard to believe that
- 23:30it's gonna be Halloween and feel like it. But however, your kids will
- 23:33be out trick or treating before you know. And I'm sure there's a lot
- 23:34of excitement picking out costumes and oh yeah, of course, got your two
- 23:38kids. I'm sure excited to get some candy. Are they old enough to
- 23:41know? Like you know? For Briggs, he's three, Like, does
- 23:44he remember last year? Does he associate Halloween with candy? I forgot that
- 23:48you You weren't here last year for briggs Halloween that he was supposed to first
- 23:52remember, he refused to wear his costume, so I made him asign the
- 23:55same. I wanted to wear that blue tank tap he likes. Nope,
- 23:57he didn't have his hands on that yet. He just refuse to wear a
- 24:00costume. He's like not having it. So I put a sign on him
- 24:03and that just said refusing to wear my costume, but would like candy plays
- 24:07and he didn't really understand it at the time. Too's tough. Yeah,
- 24:11Sydney though, she was just I mean, she was like running from door
- 24:15to order to door. I'm like, Okay, let's chill a second,
- 24:17we need to calm down a little. Yeah, when you're getting unlimited candy,
- 24:21how exciting. However, there's a new trend out there that's going a
- 24:23little viral on TikTok because this couple, and you know this is the most
- 24:26annoying like health couple, They've gone viral for what they call their switch witch
- 24:32Halloween tradition. Normally, kids just go get all this candy and then they
- 24:37eat it over the next several months. However, their switch witch is basically,
- 24:41they go out and at the end of the night, they get to
- 24:42pick five pieces of candy, pick their favorite five. That's what they get
- 24:47to eat. Yeah, the five. They take the rest of the candy
- 24:49and they put it out on the porch, in the bucket or whatever,
- 24:52and there's a witch that allegedly comes in Well, yes, switches the candy
- 24:57with a little toy or something like that. Uh huh, have you done
- 25:00this? No? But I love this idea. Do you know what it
- 25:04is like for a week and a half, like them trying to find the
- 25:08candy go around and then having candy right before it Just it drives me crazy.
- 25:14I'm not a health like, oh you can't have this, you can't
- 25:15do that, but there just comes a place and a time where you just
- 25:19got to be done with the candy. So I would love for the switchwitch
- 25:22to come to my house where you get all of the candy or a majority
- 25:27of it, put it outside, and then you'd get I don't know whatever
- 25:32you're into Barbie Doll, Well, I know it, but I don't think
- 25:33this is like Santa where he'll just come and do it for you. I
- 25:37think you actually technically have to switch the candy. Man, there's no witch.
- 25:41Bye. I hate to spoil the switchwitch for the candy. Why did
- 25:48God everything's magical as this Christ is magical. Guess maybe not to mention at
- 25:52least candy you get something out of, like you can pick the good stuff
- 25:56out if you switch it with a toy, all that's gonna do is annoy
- 25:59you more. It's gonna to be more clutter in the house. It's just
- 26:02one little thing. What do you think of the switch Witch? Well,
- 26:03let us know it's a good idea or no, I think it's just trash.
- 26:06I think it's pipeing. Hont I can't wait, should we take this
- 26:08clip? I can't wait for you to have kids so we can have one
- 26:11more thing in the house. I have nephews, Amanda, you know how
- 26:14many one more things they've got laying around the house. But this is one
- 26:17more little toy. I can even make it, make it a switch Witch
- 26:21experience. I'm gonna take them. I'm gonna take them to a movie or
- 26:26okay, the witch will take them to the movie or two. Uh,
- 26:29I'm more, Candia, But pay gazillion dollars for when you just threw away
- 26:32a bunch of free stuff smart in the morning on Big Nutty eight. Well,
- 26:38I'm about to instill a little wisdom, you know, because I'm an
- 26:41old, old wise man, of course, with a lot of lessons.
- 26:45Just think about if you could give your younger self advice with what you know
- 26:48now. Of course, there's some things right, even when you're out of
- 26:52high school for a couple of years, you're able to go what was that?
- 26:56And it's funny because then you think you figured it out, then you're
- 26:57like, oh, now I can see it clearly. But then three years
- 27:00later you look back at that current self and you're like, well, that
- 27:03idiot didn't know anything either. Yeah, no, I hear you. So
- 27:06these are the advice that older people would give their younger self. So if
- 27:08you're a young person and you're never too young to be learning, like,
- 27:11for example, a job is just a way to get currency into your bank
- 27:15account, don't confuse it with who you are. And also, no matter
- 27:19what anyone ever tells you, your work is not a family harsh words,
- 27:25but you know what I mean. True, it's easy sometimes to get caught
- 27:27up in it. And I know there's life cycles where sometimes I know and
- 27:30I'm not going to say my marriage failed the first time because it was all
- 27:33more on that later. Your career is driven, but it was, you
- 27:37know, kind of a one of those feelings where I was in a different
- 27:40place where it was like, hey, I want to I did all of
- 27:41the things for my career now. Work life balance is a huge absolutely,
- 27:45even before kids, it's like, no, you got to put your marriage
- 27:48first. You're the person in your life that's the pig. Thing is like
- 27:51your job, whatever you do. They could drop you tomorrow and they'll move
- 27:53on just fine, and they don't care for it, and it could wreck
- 27:56your life if you let it. We're all replaceable, exactly. Also advice
- 28:00would be, if you're in an unhappy relationship, get out of it and
- 28:04enjoy single life. And this one is the most practical of them all,
- 28:08very applicable for everybody. Wear sunscreen. Just do just wear sunscreen. It
- 28:14sounds so ridiculous, but it is insane. The older you get, just
- 28:18the the sun spots, the wrinkles. You just think. I remember my
- 28:22girlfriends and I from the days we'd put sun in in our hair to I
- 28:26mean we would take baby oil. I mean, just like what was I
- 28:30think. I know, my buddies and I used to rub each other down
- 28:32with bacon grease and lay out at the sun. No we didn't, but
- 28:34I mean not to mention the melanoma. I mean, there's just like and
- 28:37listen, but you're right, aging that's one of the biggest things. Yeah,
- 28:40when we moved to Florida, my wife every day, like would put
- 28:41sunscreen on, no matter what, no matter what we were doing. If
- 28:45you're just going outside, you're driving even I am not the best at putting
- 28:48it everywhere. But like now for like my face and wearing big hats and
- 28:52sunglasses, like I'm good with not having sun right now. Yeah, love
- 28:55a big hat. Also some advice, don't let your world get small.
- 29:00Travel, have a variety of interests, spend time with family and friends.
- 29:03Now, Pike, you've got that one on lockdown. He well, now,
- 29:07my wife will argue with you that I don't travel nearly wide enough.
- 29:11I don't want to ever go abroad or anything like that. You know what
- 29:12I mean. I'd rather just go to Vegas. You be somewhere in Florida.
- 29:15Yep, he is very Uh, hey, we can go. We'll
- 29:19go on a vacation. Want to go to Iowa this weekend? Perfect?
- 29:22Yeah? Super? Why would we go to you know, Europe when we
- 29:26got Medora right down the road. Yeah. Six years of marriage, we've
- 29:29been to three places together, like the same three spots. Hey, it
- 29:33ain't broke this one, Jesus man. That's a big one. The two
- 29:37biggest decisions in your life are your career and your partner. Now, your
- 29:41career will probably change and it's not too bad, but changing your partner,
- 29:47as we all know that can be a nightmare where he's like, I've got
- 29:49it together, don't. I nailed the career thing, and you seem to
- 29:53have nailed the partner thing. So learn how to save and invest money.
- 29:57Now, this is advice for your younger self. Inter and grazy. Here
- 30:00a young lady, make sure you're listening. Here it learn how to save
- 30:03and invest money. Now, how many properties do you own? Is it
- 30:06zero? Not enough? Not get you? Gotta pump those numbers out.
- 30:08This is my husband and I have had this conversation we might need to have
- 30:12a financial advisor. I'm not saying it's too late, but like when it
- 30:15comes to investing and like let's say real estate for example, I'm so that
- 30:19is well, no, it's my number one regret. It really is,
- 30:22because if you're aware of, like you know, the current market and what
- 30:25it was five years ago when I was a full time working adult, could
- 30:27have bought a house. Just didn't just didn't think about it. Nobody told
- 30:32me like, hey, like this would be a great idea. And now
- 30:34I'm just I'm behind. I am impressed though, from the time you went
- 30:37to Florida and came back, the knowledge you have about being an adult and
- 30:44financials way above my grot papers. Listen to a couple podcasts that'll do it,
- 30:48and then also the numbers a financial advisor, like what's your guys number?
- 30:52I gotta call it for you. Two in need to melp
