- 0:20Speaker 2: Waiting on, Pete, Pete, Mike check one two one two?
- 0:26Speaker 1: Wait wait wait what are you waiting on? You, princess?
- 0:29Speaker 1: What do you need? What do you need me to
- 0:31Speaker 1: do right now?
- 0:33Speaker 3: Well?
- 0:33Speaker 2: I just need to know you're there. Oh, I'm here.
- 0:36Speaker 4: Sorry, shut softly gently?
- 0:41Speaker 2: Will you put the skin?
- 0:44Speaker 1: I mean I'm gonna. I'm gonna stand up in a second
- 0:46Speaker 1: here and finish making my drink. But I'm here, I
- 0:48Speaker 1: can hear it, I can speak.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Is it also made with skull vodka?
- 0:52Speaker 1: No? You know you are an animals, sir. Schnugs close
- 0:57Speaker 1: down over here, and I just can't find the stuff anywhere,
- 0:59Speaker 1: So I'm back to Flymans.
- 1:02Speaker 2: I don't know if that's better, Pete, we got to talk.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Man. It's not better, but it's in the same price range.
- 1:10Speaker 2: This is true. I guess if you put in enough
- 1:13Speaker 2: of mixer, it really doesn't matter what you're drinking.
- 1:15Speaker 4: Huh, it does.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Guess the jetm not when it comes to vodka, really right,
- 1:22Speaker 1: it doesn't taste like anything. I'm not sure how what
- 1:26Speaker 1: justify spending more on it. It's like people who buy
- 1:29Speaker 1: bottled water of varying degrees of quality. You understand it's
- 1:32Speaker 1: water right, No, okay, no, but what's going on? What
- 1:40Speaker 1: is going on? Everybody? I'm the one, the only, the
- 1:43Speaker 1: w o ok.
- 1:44Speaker 5: I e.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Joined here by our semi normal cast of usual misfits.
- 1:49Speaker 2: We have the PhD of Key Forge, Doctor m Sheet Hello,
- 1:56Speaker 2: the Minnesota Deuce Ewalk Jr.
- 1:59Speaker 4: Hello, Key forarde community. Glad to be here.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Drasscoru is an assignment currently, so we've brought in Pete.
- 2:08Speaker 1: What it is? Pete was.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Pete was down with us down in Saint Louis. We
- 2:14Speaker 2: had a fantabulous time. I pined dexter. He didn't answer.
- 2:20Speaker 2: He must be doing dexter whatever whatever Vault warriors do.
- 2:23Speaker 2: I don't know what they do.
- 2:25Speaker 4: He's bathing in all of the new decks that he is,
- 2:28Speaker 4: just sitting on.
- 2:29Speaker 1: His bed naked. That's probably what I'd be doing.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Ah, but we did get news before we get it
- 2:38Speaker 4: into Saint Louis. Boys and girls, if you are headed
- 2:42Speaker 4: to the one and only Baltimore, our next ball to
- 2:45Speaker 4: our stop, you too can get Mercy Mulkin Queen's.
- 2:52Speaker 2: I'm not sure how excited I am about Mercy Maulkin Queen.
- 2:59Speaker 2: I also was really excited about I also wasn't really
- 3:02Speaker 2: excited about.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Are because you weren't getting one.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Uh well, it wasn't enticing me enough to skin up
- 3:11Speaker 2: early to get one. Future booster didn't Now who's getting
- 3:16Speaker 2: somebody's getting a cool Is it was France getting France
- 3:20Speaker 2: is getting a dope one? Yeah, Francis trying to think
- 3:27Speaker 2: of Oh no, no, maybe it wasn't France.
- 3:29Speaker 4: Neutron Shark is Brazil.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Yeah, who's getting the discard?
- 3:34Speaker 1: Ah?
- 3:35Speaker 2: Why am I like drying a complete link on what
- 3:37Speaker 2: it is?
- 3:41Speaker 5: I don't know because I haven't been hand intentionally, so
- 3:44Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 3:46Speaker 1: I don't even remember.
- 3:49Speaker 4: Uh, France is rocking with the Roads of Sharon.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Ah, here it is. Yes, maybe it wasn't a discard.
- 3:59Speaker 2: It is getting one of the cooler arts, which is
- 4:08Speaker 2: I forget what art this one. It's all the revenants.
- 4:12Speaker 4: Uh, Italy is getting Levy of Souls.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Levy of Souls.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Thank you, there it is. Yeah, it's all the revenants together.
- 4:19Speaker 2: So who's going to Italy? You guys are all going
- 4:23Speaker 2: to Vietnam? Did Vietnam get there? Did they say what
- 4:25Speaker 2: their early blurb of special is going to be?
- 4:27Speaker 4: Yeah, it's quel quealf the qualth the Quiet.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Yeah, that's right, that one is not very.
- 4:33Speaker 1: I feel like you're evaluating art based on card strength. No.
- 4:37Speaker 2: I think Lovy the Souls is very good artwork, Like
- 4:43Speaker 2: Future Booster doesn't do it for me, Like the whatever
- 4:46Speaker 2: that gizmo is that it's in front of the dude
- 4:48Speaker 2: on his arm, that doesn't do it for me. Neither
- 4:52Speaker 2: does Neither does the uh fire Kitty fire Kitty wing girl?
- 5:00Speaker 1: Was she on our top? Was?
- 5:03Speaker 2: Was she one of the ones that we put in
- 5:04Speaker 2: the thirst Traps?
- 5:10Speaker 5: Mars Milkins?
- 5:11Speaker 1: Yeah, Mercy, uh Mercy. To check that, I'd have to
- 5:16Speaker 1: check the database, but I think yeah.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Stay tuned for that episode top ten key Forge Thirst Traps.
- 5:23Speaker 2: We'll do that one eventually. Who might often do that
- 5:26Speaker 2: one on a Patreon episode? I'm not sure.
- 5:29Speaker 1: That episode is definitely a pants optional.
- 5:33Speaker 2: And you wonder what we do with the car right down?
- 5:35Speaker 2: So Thursday night, we gathered the folks up, got everybody
- 5:41Speaker 2: piled all in the walk mobile, starting with me, then
- 5:46Speaker 2: grabbing a danger boat. I don't even remember who we
- 5:49Speaker 2: grabbed after that? Who grabbed after that? Perfect? And then
- 5:53Speaker 2: finally a pete and a sheep had all the way
- 5:56Speaker 2: down in a six hour tour of Saint Louis.
- 6:00Speaker 4: It was a lot longer than six hours picking everyone up.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I mean that was I think it was
- 6:05Speaker 2: from Pete onward. It was six on and Pete and
- 6:07Speaker 2: Sheep onward six right.
- 6:10Speaker 4: No, it was actually five point fifty from our spot,
- 6:13Speaker 4: but with all the stops, it came to seven on
- 6:15Speaker 4: the way down and it came to eight eight and
- 6:17Speaker 4: a half on the way back.
- 6:18Speaker 1: That's because you guys had to have roadside beers.
- 6:22Speaker 4: There were some roadside beers.
- 6:25Speaker 1: You have to.
- 6:26Speaker 2: I think Sheep was drunk by the time we got
- 6:28Speaker 2: to Panda Express, but we'll talk about that on the
- 6:29Speaker 2: way back. Driving in, we really didn't do anything special.
- 6:34Speaker 2: We just ended up going to it. We went to culvers.
- 6:37Speaker 4: We went to culvers and we were focused. It was great,
- 6:41Speaker 4: clovers was quick in and out. No, we were like
- 6:44Speaker 4: literally there were no side stops. Nobody gon and taken
- 6:48Speaker 4: a wizard break and uh oh no, I.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Had to take a wizard break, but Sheep wouldn't let me.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Nope.
- 6:53Speaker 2: But was about thirty minutes out from the Airbnb. I'm like,
- 6:57Speaker 2: I got a pee and Sheep's like, no, or alled
- 7:01Speaker 2: it and I did all the way.
- 7:06Speaker 5: I made the right decision.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Yep, and then I immediately peed when we got there
- 7:09Speaker 2: and it hurt. Pretty cool Airbnb though, lots of rooms,
- 7:14Speaker 2: lots of space, nice and open somewhere.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I don't know where. We really were in.
- 7:21Speaker 4: Saint Louis, a couple of minutes from downtown. Yeah, few,
- 7:25Speaker 4: the northwest side.
- 7:26Speaker 1: It was.
- 7:26Speaker 4: It was a beautiful area close to the park that
- 7:29Speaker 4: you could go run in the morning. There were some
- 7:31Speaker 4: local shops too, so it's a neat area.
- 7:34Speaker 2: So I else to say about day one that that
- 7:37Speaker 2: I'm missing?
- 7:39Speaker 4: No, we made it. It was great, good.
- 7:41Speaker 1: It was long.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Some for some reasons. Ewok's seats in the back are
- 7:48Speaker 2: really low to the ground.
- 7:52Speaker 1: I'm curious how bed mates were chosen. I think I
- 7:56Speaker 1: just grabbed perfect and said, hey, you're with me.
- 7:58Speaker 2: I think it was at random. No, didn't we been
- 8:00Speaker 2: a wheel?
- 8:03Speaker 1: There was a wheel.
- 8:03Speaker 5: Now wait, I'll wait, I'll try to avoid you, Wookie.
- 8:06Speaker 5: That was that was not the game was playing who
- 8:09Speaker 5: has to have the chains?
- 8:11Speaker 1: So we told you you wouldn't feel bad, so you
- 8:14Speaker 1: get well.
- 8:17Speaker 4: So we actually early yeah, early on it was Dexter
- 8:21Speaker 4: and Dexter adamantly fought not to have you, and I
- 8:24Speaker 4: think that was really the difference on the weekend, to
- 8:26Speaker 4: be honest. So instead Dexter ended up with me. He
- 8:29Speaker 4: had snuggle time and man, that's.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Just for some reason.
- 8:34Speaker 4: Nope. And then danger Boat went ahead and said, hey,
- 8:39Speaker 4: my dad really snores, so I'm totally fine with this.
- 8:43Speaker 4: And we're like, really, are you sure, and he's like, yeah,
- 8:47Speaker 4: not a problem at all. And he took it like
- 8:49Speaker 4: a chant man. He did not complain. I mean you
- 8:51Speaker 4: were because yeah, you were in random other spots throughout
- 8:56Speaker 4: the house.
- 8:56Speaker 2: But it works where I fit. I sits, that's kind
- 9:01Speaker 2: of that couch was mighty comfortable. Again, where you sits
- 9:06Speaker 2: is where you sleep. That that's really it is.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Where I will be passing out eventually.
- 9:12Speaker 4: What do you mean within ten minutes on the ride
- 9:15Speaker 4: home and you were passed out again there too and
- 9:18Speaker 4: up in the front seat boom.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Yeah. Right, Well that's why me and Pete switched.
- 9:22Speaker 4: That's why I had to stop on the way back anyway, Friday.
- 9:26Speaker 2: It was a good switched.
- 9:28Speaker 4: We picked bed mates. It worked out well for Dexter.
- 9:30Speaker 4: He did not end up with you. He got sleep
- 9:32Speaker 4: and he rocked it.
- 9:33Speaker 2: So, uh, starting out Friday, we ended up having we
- 9:38Speaker 2: started our sealed We did get breakfast. Oh yeah, where
- 9:43Speaker 2: did we go? What was that place called breakfast?
- 9:47Speaker 5: Expensive place, very very half dollars, mini juices. Dras would
- 9:58Speaker 5: have been proud of us. Dras would have proud. I
- 10:00Speaker 5: still would like to know.
- 10:02Speaker 2: How much of that mini glass of chocolate milk costs Perfect.
- 10:05Speaker 2: We also found out that chalk that that mister Perfect
- 10:10Speaker 2: is a proverbial child. What did he order? He ordered
- 10:15Speaker 2: chocolate milk? I figure what else he ordered that. I'm
- 10:19Speaker 2: just like, yep, you're a child. I think you were
- 10:25Speaker 2: in a plain Hamburger at the one restaurant too. It's
- 10:30Speaker 2: just like you are like four. But we start off
- 10:36Speaker 2: to a sealed as all good vault tours do boys?
- 10:40Speaker 2: How are your pods playable? Okay, playable, Pete, Mine were playable.
- 10:53Speaker 2: I went two and one. I lost to Dexter. I
- 10:57Speaker 2: didn't know he was going to win the whole thing.
- 10:59Speaker 2: How God spoilers?
- 11:02Speaker 5: God?
- 11:02Speaker 1: Oh, I mean yeah, I looked at my I think
- 11:07Speaker 1: my pods were going to make the cut, and looking back,
- 11:09Speaker 1: maybe they were better than two and one.
- 11:11Speaker 2: You should have wrote it out. I didn't know you
- 11:13Speaker 2: were two and one. You should have wrote it out.
- 11:15Speaker 1: She really wanted to play that Steel Survival.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Pods extra poopy. Oh yeah, tell us about the three
- 11:24Speaker 2: decks you pulled.
- 11:26Speaker 5: Yeah, I opened three decks and they all had or
- 11:30Speaker 5: Boris Mars and unfathomable. All three decks.
- 11:34Speaker 4: Hey, you had choices, only twenty.
- 11:37Speaker 5: Seven of them, right, so it made my life easy.
- 11:41Speaker 5: How would I like to lose? U? Then I went
- 11:44Speaker 5: and won some games, but then I played danger Boat,
- 11:50Speaker 5: who got some decent cards, and he like three woned
- 11:54Speaker 5: me with a pity key and made me feel real pathetic.
- 11:57Speaker 5: And then I too dropped at what could have been
- 12:02Speaker 5: two one to go play something else because I knew
- 12:05Speaker 5: I wasn't making it.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Did you end up in Sealed Survival too? Yeah, okay,
- 12:12Speaker 2: I can't believe I ended up. I went two and
- 12:15Speaker 2: two and went straight to Sealed Survival, which wasn't. Well,
- 12:20Speaker 2: my decks, my my pods were poo pooh.
- 12:24Speaker 4: I started, Yeah, I started too. Oh. I beat Captain
- 12:28Speaker 4: Crispy and then Flaming Hobo. Krispy was pretty close Flaming
- 12:32Speaker 4: Hobo's like, I don't know how I got here, and yeah,
- 12:35Speaker 4: I three ont um. It was I agree his deck
- 12:37Speaker 4: was not there, and sometimes you have it, sometimes you don't.
- 12:41Speaker 4: I saw my decks Unfathomable Geistoid immediately jumped out at me,
- 12:45Speaker 4: and then I went Skyborne, And even though Skybourne still
- 12:50Speaker 4: shows up as not my top pod, I really liked it.
- 12:56Speaker 4: Had triple jump start, double cold ropes and against the flags,
- 13:01Speaker 4: and so I really leaned into the being overwhelmed and
- 13:04Speaker 4: then it just allowed me to do fun Shenanigan things.
- 13:08Speaker 4: But with Skyborne geist Doing and Unfathomable and not really
- 13:11Speaker 4: having more than one against all lights, I had very
- 13:14Speaker 4: very little c and I had very very very little
- 13:20Speaker 4: amber control.
- 13:21Speaker 2: I can't tell if I can't tell if Sea eludes
- 13:25Speaker 2: you or it's just like your hyper focused on it.
- 13:28Speaker 4: I think that I think that creature control in this
- 13:32Speaker 4: set is really critical.
- 13:35Speaker 5: It's pretty important.
- 13:37Speaker 4: Yeah, I honestly, I'm trying to think of what.
- 13:44Speaker 2: I mean I I ended up. I originally started out
- 13:47Speaker 2: with a fish, Geistoid or Boros deck to then decide
- 13:54Speaker 2: to you know, these or these dragons are really bad
- 13:59Speaker 2: because my other pods were also Guy two. I had
- 14:03Speaker 2: four Geist, two geyst Toy, two Fish. I had one
- 14:09Speaker 2: really bad Shadows pod that literally had none of the
- 14:11Speaker 2: shadows cards you want in them?
- 14:13Speaker 4: Oh, I will, I will tap you there. I did
- 14:16Speaker 4: have a shadows pod, but it had double routine job
- 14:20Speaker 4: and caught you napping and then everything else. It had
- 14:22Speaker 4: triple grammy taps.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Uh.
- 14:25Speaker 4: Yeah, that that's where.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Like the disco ball grenade that like doesn't do anything.
- 14:35Speaker 1: I can't even remember.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Like I think I had a whistle was a whistling darts,
- 14:41Speaker 2: whistling stars whatever it is deal damage to three creatures,
- 14:45Speaker 2: gaining number, gaining number for each stars.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Yeah, the throwing stars whatever.
- 14:52Speaker 2: There's another one that deals one damage to all creatures.
- 14:58Speaker 2: I get those two confused a lot. Just nothing in there.
- 15:02Speaker 2: And I you know, here's here's where I got nervous.
- 15:06Speaker 2: Is I'm making my deck right, And I'm like, oh,
- 15:08Speaker 2: he walks always talking about c I better have some
- 15:11Speaker 2: like some kind of critters in this deck because I
- 15:14Speaker 2: didn't have any in the other two. And I'm like,
- 15:16Speaker 2: I should put something with creatures in it, you know,
- 15:19Speaker 2: just maybe maybe have a few big, big meaties floating around,
- 15:25Speaker 2: and that's what I want. Ora Boros, Boy, was that
- 15:30Speaker 2: a mistake.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:33Speaker 4: If you don't have play effects, you're basically trying to
- 15:36Speaker 4: outboard and win off of that, and there's just a
- 15:40Speaker 4: number of creatures. Yeah, there's just a number of creatures
- 15:43Speaker 4: in Ora Boros that you're not going to do it.
- 15:45Speaker 4: I hate to say this, but Ria bebby Gress is
- 15:48Speaker 4: just like thank you, no, thank you, I appreciate it.
- 15:55Speaker 4: There's Yeah, there's just a couple of items like that.
- 15:59Speaker 4: I will say that in game number three against speed Pace,
- 16:02Speaker 4: that changed out my pod because my only see that
- 16:06Speaker 4: had in all nine pods was Viscounts of Harry's Like,
- 16:10Speaker 4: while you're yellow key to sporged each enemy creature, under
- 16:12Speaker 4: play stunned and play if your yellow key is forged,
- 16:14Speaker 4: stun each enteman creature.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Uh.
- 16:20Speaker 4: True story. I lost that game, So that was not
- 16:22Speaker 4: the call one. It was buried and it came very late.
- 16:24Speaker 4: It did actually do damage when it hit because I
- 16:28Speaker 4: could I had forged the yellow key, but it's just
- 16:31Speaker 4: it's too slow and not good enough. So I lost
- 16:36Speaker 4: speed Pace. Round four, I placed domb Fam, I went
- 16:39Speaker 4: back to the pods I knew, and then round five
- 16:43Speaker 4: I played Mickey and I lost. I lost pretty hard
- 16:47Speaker 4: first Miggy, So now you're in that kind of the three.
- 16:54Speaker 4: It's a three to two slot, so you're really needing
- 16:56Speaker 4: to win and hope to hope to fall in as
- 16:59Speaker 4: one of a four two. Yeah. For for MIGGI, he
- 17:02Speaker 4: had returned to Rubble when Thing Thing from the Deep
- 17:06Speaker 4: came out, so that was really my amber control. Super
- 17:11Speaker 4: cool plays in that I could actually play my Thing
- 17:15Speaker 4: from the Deep and then be able to use it
- 17:17Speaker 4: with jump start on a Skyborn turn in a future turn.
- 17:22Speaker 4: So there was some odd things that people missed. Think
- 17:25Speaker 4: from the Deep actually was multiple games, has sold six
- 17:30Speaker 4: and stoled eight, so it did work. It did work
- 17:34Speaker 4: even in the top eight game when I faced off
- 17:37Speaker 4: against Dexter. But if you go ahead and blow it
- 17:42Speaker 4: up right away, which is what Meggie did, that that
- 17:44Speaker 4: was real sad. So I don't know it was fun.
- 17:50Speaker 4: I did mess up. You said you talked about pyrotechnic. Uh,
- 17:54Speaker 4: Miggy was the first person to actually pull off pyrotechnic
- 17:56Speaker 4: against me. So shout out to am mostly because as
- 18:00Speaker 4: I was an idiot and uh I had mage Hypyrotechnicama
- 18:07Speaker 4: met spontaneous hammer smythe which I stole in the AMET,
- 18:10Speaker 4: so I double them a met and instead of just
- 18:12Speaker 4: putting it over on the other side, I put my met,
- 18:15Speaker 4: then I went ahead and spontaneous awakened his hammer smithe,
- 18:19Speaker 4: and then put the other mamet. Locating your creatures actually
- 18:24Speaker 4: matters in this game, so that was fun. But it
- 18:27Speaker 4: made me laugh, like, all right, how often is that
- 18:30Speaker 4: going to happen? That you're gonna have it stole against you?
- 18:33Speaker 4: In Sealed once and then in draft twice. You can
- 18:36Speaker 4: lean in with some of the damage pips and capture
- 18:38Speaker 4: pips to help for that.
- 18:40Speaker 1: But it was pretty cool, got it?
- 18:42Speaker 4: So I faced off Camra Bubba in the last in
- 18:45Speaker 4: round six then and I actually took down three zero.
- 18:50Speaker 1: And I don't know.
- 18:51Speaker 4: About you guys, did you what did you think of
- 18:55Speaker 4: the new app that was being used?
- 18:58Speaker 2: M go ahead, Pete, what'd you think?
- 19:03Speaker 1: Oh? I just think it's awesome. You could click on
- 19:05Speaker 1: your opponent and it takes it right to the vault
- 19:07Speaker 1: to see the deck and it looks nice old after
- 19:10Speaker 1: that too.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, you can go to the master vault
- 19:15Speaker 2: by clicking on their deck on the in the app.
- 19:21Speaker 4: What I liked about it is that I could actually
- 19:23Speaker 4: click on the event and because we are not playing
- 19:27Speaker 4: too el but we're playing Swiss. As I finished and
- 19:32Speaker 4: I was four to two. Now after round six, there
- 19:36Speaker 4: were a couple of us that were actually cheering on
- 19:38Speaker 4: So in the group of four that I was by,
- 19:41Speaker 4: both myself and someone else were actually cheering on Miggy
- 19:44Speaker 4: for him to be able to win. So if Miggy wins,
- 19:47Speaker 4: then our strength of schedule is better. He finishes at
- 19:50Speaker 4: one of the five one spots and that was better
- 19:56Speaker 4: for us. True story, he did not win, and so
- 20:02Speaker 4: we saw that kind of go down, but you could
- 20:04Speaker 4: actually see where the ranking was. So as we were
- 20:06Speaker 4: finishing that round six, there was probably eight to ten
- 20:10Speaker 4: of us that were all around kind of watching as
- 20:13Speaker 4: our names went up or down, and we could see
- 20:15Speaker 4: who was still left and playing and how that was scanning.
- 20:18Speaker 4: So I actually really liked that aspect for play style.
- 20:24Speaker 4: You had a reason to be able to cheer on
- 20:25Speaker 4: someone else who may not have been a teammate or
- 20:27Speaker 4: just a random person that was there. But it was
- 20:29Speaker 4: pretty cool to actually see it in live time and
- 20:31Speaker 4: you're like, oh, where am I going to go? Am
- 20:33Speaker 4: I up? Am I down?
- 20:34Speaker 1: Oh?
- 20:34Speaker 4: Okay, we're going, well, I make the cut. We could
- 20:37Speaker 4: see where nine was well, but you could see where
- 20:39Speaker 4: nine was, and so we knew ahead of time that
- 20:44Speaker 4: the cut was actually.
- 20:45Speaker 3: Going to be.
- 20:46Speaker 4: There were going to be a couple of people in
- 20:47Speaker 4: four two that made it, but that number was actually
- 20:50Speaker 4: going to be potentially a little bit higher because a
- 20:54Speaker 4: number of the people who were playing up so they
- 20:56Speaker 4: had lost, but when they played up, they ended up winning.
- 21:00Speaker 4: And it happened multiple times in sealed, and so that
- 21:03Speaker 4: actually helped a number of us out. But it was
- 21:06Speaker 4: pretty cool to watch in real time and to kind
- 21:08Speaker 4: of watch people playing. I did with the deck that
- 21:11Speaker 4: I put together, well, I did not have amber control
- 21:14Speaker 4: or creature control. I did have nineteen printed amber and
- 21:17Speaker 4: I also had again that triple jump start, which really
- 21:21Speaker 4: did a lot of work in that skyborne pod and
- 21:25Speaker 4: so just really pushing amber and seeing, okay, what does
- 21:29Speaker 4: everyone have to pull me off? I either won gloriously
- 21:32Speaker 4: quick or I lost pretty quickly too.
- 21:35Speaker 2: In a blaze of fire. Did anybody make top eight?
- 21:38Speaker 2: Did you make top eight?
- 21:40Speaker 4: I did make top eight, so four to two I
- 21:43Speaker 4: was actually seated in the number seven position, So MGGI lost.
- 21:47Speaker 4: He was the top four to two. I was the
- 21:49Speaker 4: second top four to two, so I only lost to
- 21:51Speaker 4: Miggy and speed Pace who were both in, and then
- 21:55Speaker 4: our boy Kaimera actually unfortunately fell as the number nine slot.
- 21:59Speaker 4: He was hit with that first out of the top.
- 22:04Speaker 1: His weekend was just fine.
- 22:07Speaker 2: It was you cry for him. Yeah, Camera Camara did
- 22:12Speaker 2: very well this weekend.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Two.
- 22:14Speaker 2: I ended up bouncing at two and two. I guess
- 22:19Speaker 2: I could battle it out. But at round four, already
- 22:22Speaker 2: having two losses, I was like, yep, just just didn't
- 22:27Speaker 2: have the stuff, as they say. It was very It
- 22:32Speaker 2: was very disappointed to go, oh, shadows and then cracking
- 22:35Speaker 2: it and be like, oh no, there's nothing in here,
- 22:39Speaker 2: Just why is there nothing in here?
- 22:41Speaker 5: Feel bad for you at least at least you had
- 22:44Speaker 5: one of the houses you want.
- 22:45Speaker 2: I mean fair, I'll I felt I felt bad for you,
- 22:50Speaker 2: going oh shit, no, knowing you had three of the
- 22:54Speaker 2: same houses. That's not a fun experience. Sours uh ours
- 23:03Speaker 2: is real bad.
- 23:04Speaker 1: This that they are.
- 23:06Speaker 4: It can do some things, but you need to you
- 23:09Speaker 4: need a very focused grouping of cards, and for the
- 23:12Speaker 4: most part that's not what the commons are going ahead
- 23:16Speaker 4: and showing up most of the time.
- 23:19Speaker 2: I did have the interesting fact that each each one
- 23:25Speaker 2: of my decks did have a gigantic. I don't know
- 23:30Speaker 2: if that's what you want, but each one of them.
- 23:33Speaker 4: You are the pot. You're the pod that had three
- 23:35Speaker 4: gigantics and you did not play them.
- 23:37Speaker 2: I did not play a single gigantic. No, no, should
- 23:41Speaker 2: I play?
- 23:42Speaker 3: Well?
- 23:42Speaker 5: He made a good decisions this weekend.
- 23:45Speaker 1: I should I have played?
- 23:47Speaker 5: Uh?
- 23:47Speaker 2: What is zombsk the skyborne gigantic? Who does it really
- 23:53Speaker 2: do anything?
- 23:55Speaker 1: Uh?
- 23:55Speaker 2: He shows up in the finals? He no, that's the finals?
- 24:00Speaker 2: Is the dragon? Oh you said which one?
- 24:07Speaker 5: Oh? Yeah?
- 24:07Speaker 3: No?
- 24:07Speaker 5: That okay? That one's pretty bad.
- 24:09Speaker 2: I did have the I did have the the Orboros
- 24:14Speaker 2: giant as well.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Do they have two giants or Boros?
- 24:21Speaker 2: Nobody knows one just the one, okay, because I was like,
- 24:26Speaker 2: I don't remember looking, but his giant looked different from
- 24:30Speaker 2: my giant. But it's okay, Yeah, I had. I had
- 24:35Speaker 2: a giant in each one of mine, so it was fine.
- 24:39Speaker 2: The only giant that I would have even considered playing
- 24:41Speaker 2: is possibly the Oraboros one, because it did have that
- 24:45Speaker 2: scaling The fish keys costs plus two. I didn't get
- 24:49Speaker 2: the fish one. The fish one is the one I
- 24:51Speaker 2: did not get. The there was a scaling of your
- 24:56Speaker 2: opponents keys cost plus two.
- 24:58Speaker 4: Yeah is Yeah, Kolsha has fifteen power or burrows. Play
- 25:03Speaker 4: only with the other half. Your opponent's skis costs plus
- 25:06Speaker 4: two for each forged key they have after fight. After
- 25:09Speaker 4: reap exhausts up to three creatures.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Which doesn't matter when your opponent has Hannibal's mark. Yeah
- 25:16Speaker 2: we'll get We'll get to that in a little bit.
- 25:18Speaker 2: But yeah, neither height nor hair. It was fine. I
- 25:22Speaker 2: was more than happy to go play Sealed Survival, which
- 25:27Speaker 2: was not Sealed Survival but is Sealed Survival because Sealed
- 25:33Speaker 2: Survival went five rounds and that was it didn't matter
- 25:37Speaker 2: where you were. You got five rounds and Sealed Survival
- 25:40Speaker 2: and that was it. So if I would have known
- 25:43Speaker 2: that going in, I probably I might have played a
- 25:46Speaker 2: little I might have chosen my dex a little differently,
- 25:48Speaker 2: because I am one to choose. I am going to
- 25:50Speaker 2: play my worst deck first and see I just if
- 25:53Speaker 2: I can get a few wins out of it. If
- 25:55Speaker 2: I can, great, If I cannot, well let's move on,
- 25:58Speaker 2: you know. But that's was what it was. I'm not
- 26:03Speaker 2: gonna cry over spilt milk there. Just know that anything
- 26:06Speaker 2: that says survival on it just know that your side
- 26:10Speaker 2: events are only going to go five rounds.
- 26:12Speaker 1: There you go, that's all right.
- 26:15Speaker 5: It doesn't mean it is actually back to two. L oh.
- 26:19Speaker 2: That this is true for side events, yes, for nothing.
- 26:25Speaker 5: Else, well for side events survival, right, but also no,
- 26:30Speaker 5: assuming it's two dak right. I mean, there's a lot
- 26:32Speaker 5: of a lot of assumptions going on here.
- 26:34Speaker 2: This is true, but also no. One thing I want
- 26:36Speaker 2: to note is kind of when we talked about it earlier,
- 26:40Speaker 2: I guess, is the fact that we were all like,
- 26:42Speaker 2: oh well, basically like if you have two losses, maybe
- 26:46Speaker 2: go find something else to do. Not not quite the
- 26:49Speaker 2: case in and the main event you can't there with
- 26:58Speaker 2: how many four two has made it three?
- 27:03Speaker 4: So looking at this, I believe it was three. I
- 27:07Speaker 4: took this shot, yeah, because speed Paced was actually seated
- 27:11Speaker 4: one at five one. On FATHOMAB was five one man
- 27:14Speaker 4: and d G five to one, Doug Tator at five
- 27:17Speaker 4: to one, and then it was Jas at five one,
- 27:19Speaker 4: Migi at four two, myself, Eyoch at four two, his
- 27:23Speaker 4: sign at four to two. So there were three of
- 27:26Speaker 4: us at four to two.
- 27:27Speaker 2: So that's kind of the one thing I did want
- 27:29Speaker 2: to kind of highlight for everybody, Like, if you are
- 27:31Speaker 2: into those later rounds and you are in that that
- 27:35Speaker 2: three to one, three to two, know that you you
- 27:40Speaker 2: still are in it with fit will. We had what
- 27:43Speaker 2: fifty people for sealed.
- 27:47Speaker 4: Yeah, so there were forty eight forty eight players for sealed,
- 27:51Speaker 4: So I will say it does matter where you go
- 27:56Speaker 4: ahead and lose. So if you lose in your first round,
- 28:01Speaker 4: un loss, it's in Swiss. No, but like that that
- 28:04Speaker 4: has a big it does?
- 28:07Speaker 1: I mean it? You know?
- 28:08Speaker 2: Again, I was like, oh, I'm two losses, Like my
- 28:11Speaker 2: losses did come early. But like if if you are
- 28:15Speaker 2: getting to lose losses in the later rounds, you know,
- 28:18Speaker 2: don't just feel like you're out and maybe go play
- 28:20Speaker 2: you know, sealed or whatever. Stick around. You do have
- 28:23Speaker 2: an opportunity to get in the top eight. Right, So
- 28:27Speaker 2: it's just one thing I wanted to highlight because it is,
- 28:29Speaker 2: I mean, going back to Swiss is kind of a
- 28:32Speaker 2: big change for a lot, you know, for we've been
- 28:34Speaker 2: too low for what for three years, four years, a
- 28:40Speaker 2: number of years. So just just know that, you know,
- 28:44Speaker 2: you have the opportunity to still make a top eight.
- 28:47Speaker 2: So but Sealed Survival is not sealed survival.
- 28:54Speaker 1: It is what it is.
- 28:55Speaker 2: I did pull a little bit of gas in my
- 28:57Speaker 2: second deck, so I was like, huh, I like this,
- 29:01Speaker 2: and I learned that I should have just started with it. No, well, no,
- 29:06Speaker 2: you'll only be there.
- 29:07Speaker 5: I opened one VM twenty six one amber Skies chose
- 29:11Speaker 5: to start with the amber Sky's deck, which does not
- 29:15Speaker 5: amber Sky so far does not stand up to VM
- 29:17Speaker 5: twenty six at all on an open sealed kind of yep,
- 29:25Speaker 5: keep getting annihilated, yep.
- 29:27Speaker 4: Pete, did you play in the sealed survival as well?
- 29:30Speaker 1: I did. I opened to talk and my decks were
- 29:33Speaker 1: not very good. I went one and two.
- 29:37Speaker 4: There were total of seventeen players that showed up. Our
- 29:40Speaker 4: local mister Perfect did take it, but I will like
- 29:45Speaker 4: shout out to him for going ahead and taking it.
- 29:47Speaker 4: It was a little bit odd in that because you
- 29:49Speaker 4: had multiple people who were still alive after the five
- 29:53Speaker 4: rounds that the tiebreakers decided who won, so shut out.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Yeah, weird how that works. How the tiebreakers to said,
- 30:02Speaker 2: I'm not I'm not salty. I'm salty. I'm so salty.
- 30:07Speaker 2: I was just like, this is survival, call it anything
- 30:12Speaker 2: but survival.
- 30:12Speaker 4: But I think the only other Yeah, it was survival.
- 30:16Speaker 5: I think the only survival. Just like it was in
- 30:19Speaker 5: the other one. It didn't matter outside of losing twice
- 30:23Speaker 5: and then you go to top eight, you had to
- 30:24Speaker 5: go down to one deck.
- 30:25Speaker 4: Anyways, I think the only thing that was missed is
- 30:29Speaker 4: that I would have put Sealed on Saturday, so that
- 30:33Speaker 4: you basically would have a chance to play Sealed on
- 30:35Speaker 4: Friday and then Sealed on Saturday if you were out.
- 30:38Speaker 4: But that's that's the only difference that I would have made.
- 30:40Speaker 4: I wouldn't have put all of sealed on Friday.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Well. Also, the cut or not the cut, the the
- 30:46Speaker 1: opportunity to jump into the side of it happened after
- 30:48Speaker 1: round three on Friday, whereas Saturday was after round four.
- 30:53Speaker 1: So can I think your mistaken you were? Yes, yeah,
- 30:56Speaker 1: I was a mistaken it what you said, you went
- 31:00Speaker 1: to two before you jumped in the side event, but
- 31:01Speaker 1: there's only three rounds on Friday before the Saturday it
- 31:04Speaker 1: was an hour later, so I felt like there was
- 31:06Speaker 1: more pressure to get out if you wanted to.
- 31:09Speaker 2: I thought it was too too No, that was Saturday. Yeah, okay, Well,
- 31:16Speaker 2: either way, wherever my decks were like she said, well
- 31:23Speaker 2: sheep didn't say it I said it do doo kaka,
- 31:25Speaker 2: and I was not having fun playing the pods I
- 31:28Speaker 2: was provided, so I was out.
- 31:31Speaker 4: Speaking of pods, I will say that when we on
- 31:36Speaker 4: round number six, anyone who was already five oh, there's
- 31:40Speaker 4: real reason to try out your other pods, so shut
- 31:43Speaker 4: out to unfathomable for actually trying out a different pod.
- 31:45Speaker 4: I know he ended up going five to one, but like,
- 31:48Speaker 4: that's the time where you know that at five oh,
- 31:51Speaker 4: you're going to go ahead and make it into top eight.
- 31:55Speaker 4: And so that is a title. That is the time
- 31:59Speaker 4: if you think.
- 31:59Speaker 5: You hello greatly today and this whole like two six
- 32:05Speaker 5: o's are playing each other in the last round for
- 32:08Speaker 5: seed position only like it felt so dumb. You're you're
- 32:13Speaker 5: kind of playing for nothing, is what it feels.
- 32:16Speaker 4: Like, versus just sitting.
- 32:20Speaker 5: No versus it. Well, you go do something else, ye.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Like that ten player cut with them getting go bye.
- 32:32Speaker 2: Well yeah, because like at the two l O portion
- 32:34Speaker 2: of it.
- 32:35Speaker 5: No, I want a classic too, l O. I liked
- 32:37Speaker 5: to l O. I didn't want Swiss because the xos
- 32:48Speaker 5: are qualified at four oh, they don't get to six
- 32:52Speaker 5: O and have to play it doesn't matter, yeah, or
- 32:56Speaker 5: messes or messes with tie breakers in some silly way,
- 32:59Speaker 5: because yeah, they're like they don't need to win.
- 33:04Speaker 4: They don't need to win.
- 33:05Speaker 5: It's like they they have this position where if if
- 33:09Speaker 5: somebody they beat earlier they don't want to see again,
- 33:11Speaker 5: they can pitch their round to try to weaken their tiebreakers.
- 33:17Speaker 1: I will still would that be collusion, No, okay, but.
- 33:25Speaker 5: Only if you agree with another player do it for
- 33:27Speaker 5: some reason. If you just choose to do it on
- 33:29Speaker 5: your own, it's strategy.
- 33:33Speaker 2: I will one of my master vaults has oh I
- 33:36Speaker 2: think this is somebody else's master vault tech.
- 33:40Speaker 4: I will say that the four to two Swiss did
- 33:43Speaker 4: allow three of us in for the top eight, and
- 33:47Speaker 4: out of those sites read it was it was meaningful
- 33:51Speaker 4: because same actually was runner up and qualified for Worlds
- 33:54Speaker 4: as results, so he was one of Unfortunately he was
- 33:57Speaker 4: one of the four two's and so it actually really matters.
- 34:00Speaker 4: The other two both making and myself finished top eight,
- 34:04Speaker 4: so you could argue against that, but again I ended
- 34:06Speaker 4: up facing off against on Fathomable who took it overall,
- 34:10Speaker 4: and he had still would.
- 34:12Speaker 5: Have been a top cut with eight players, so you
- 34:16Speaker 5: know whether they're four two's or we end around earlier
- 34:19Speaker 5: and then there's a play.
- 34:20Speaker 4: In Yeah, well Friday night, we like said, don't care
- 34:26Speaker 4: for the Swiss. Yeah Friday Night, we did go ahead
- 34:28Speaker 4: and play top.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Eight, played the first to eight.
- 34:33Speaker 4: We did play the well that's our top eight round
- 34:35Speaker 4: for sealed out of seating because on Fatimable did try
- 34:40Speaker 4: out his other pod. It was not as good. He lost,
- 34:43Speaker 4: and so my my roommates for the nights I ended
- 34:48Speaker 4: up facing. He was seated two, I was seated seven.
- 34:50Speaker 4: We played and he got the better of me, and
- 34:53Speaker 4: he had definitely a much better deck as you could
- 34:55Speaker 4: see for the rest of the weekend. I did actually
- 34:58Speaker 4: put some pressure though, which made me feel good after
- 35:01Speaker 4: he took down sealed because that game went three to two.
- 35:05Speaker 4: But his Hannibal's Mark did not come out in our
- 35:08Speaker 4: game at all. That would have really been problem for
- 35:12Speaker 4: my thing from the Deep. But think from the Deep
- 35:14Speaker 4: with a little bit of pressure coming from from jump
- 35:20Speaker 4: Start was there.
- 35:21Speaker 5: It was something m yeah, jump Start Hannibal's mark. Those
- 35:26Speaker 5: are very real cards.
- 35:27Speaker 4: Well, he had double TMTP, he had Hannibal's Mark. There
- 35:33Speaker 4: were a lot of really good.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Believe also had routine job.
- 35:39Speaker 5: I think it a copy of yeah amber purse as well.
- 35:44Speaker 3: He had lots of good cards.
- 35:45Speaker 2: Yeah, he had good Yeah.
- 35:46Speaker 4: The two Ember purse actually was what killed me in
- 35:49Speaker 4: the end. So in the sealed I really debated about
- 35:53Speaker 4: tossing my Skyborne. The only thing that was kind of
- 36:00Speaker 4: keeping me alive was the silly one amber steel off
- 36:04Speaker 4: of Deep Blue brind and so I had kept that,
- 36:07Speaker 4: but I had brought out two others and I actually pause.
- 36:10Speaker 4: I talked to him, I'm like, I think I need
- 36:12Speaker 4: to toss this under the chance that I'm going to
- 36:15Speaker 4: get hit for the steal off of purse, and he
- 36:21Speaker 4: just smiled at me. And it was about two turns
- 36:25Speaker 4: later it hits and I'm like, yep, I ended up
- 36:28Speaker 4: managing to steal three off of it. So I was
- 36:31Speaker 4: fine and that it was the same amount of amber,
- 36:33Speaker 4: but that was the final blow that really took me
- 36:36Speaker 4: out in the top eight.
- 36:38Speaker 1: You mentioned him smiling at you. I'll say two of
- 36:40Speaker 1: my three losses in the main events came to Dexter.
- 36:42Speaker 1: He has a great time when he's kicking your ass.
- 36:45Speaker 1: He's always smiling, laughing. It just makes it all feel
- 36:50Speaker 1: a little bit better. So I appreciate that. Thank you. Dexter,
- 36:53Speaker 1: thank you for kicking our ass. Dexter, I tackle like
- 36:56Speaker 1: a maniac.
- 36:57Speaker 3: We know.
- 37:00Speaker 4: Or you went quiet too. I will say.
- 37:01Speaker 1: That that that is option too.
- 37:06Speaker 4: That was sealed and sealed survival.
- 37:08Speaker 2: So moving into Saturday, we got ark On an Alliance,
- 37:12Speaker 2: which there was a lot of jockeying going on there.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Didn't know how who was going where, what was happening,
- 37:20Speaker 2: Trouble in paradise, uh for Kamera, which actually ended up
- 37:26Speaker 2: in his favor. I ended up going I think we
- 37:31Speaker 2: all want Arkon, right, nobody here went alliance just camero yeah,
- 37:36Speaker 2: just camera, which I should have gone Alliance, but it didn't.
- 37:40Speaker 5: It happened listen to me.
- 37:42Speaker 2: Yeah, well so you talk about it telestrations. Yeah, playing
- 37:55Speaker 2: telestrations with Dexter is incredibly difficult.
- 37:59Speaker 5: Well, I would rather deal with Dester than mister Perfect's drawings.
- 38:06Speaker 2: I don't think I ever sat beside him to get
- 38:09Speaker 2: any of his drawings, So I don't know how. I
- 38:13Speaker 2: know at one point you moved. I can't remember when
- 38:16Speaker 2: we were like, I can't.
- 38:17Speaker 1: Be next to you.
- 38:20Speaker 5: No, they were bad.
- 38:21Speaker 1: Yeah, but yes, we drew.
- 38:25Speaker 2: A bunch of dudes, drew penises and drank alcohol.
- 38:32Speaker 4: We also raced the mask that was.
- 38:34Speaker 2: On Saturday night. Nope, I don't know what night that was.
- 38:37Speaker 2: Was that Saturday, Saturday night, Saturday Saturday.
- 38:42Speaker 5: We were ultimately very tame. We went back to our
- 38:46Speaker 5: Airbnb and then proceeded to play board games, not drink
- 38:51Speaker 5: much of Kyle's beer.
- 38:52Speaker 4: We had really good barbecue, though.
- 38:55Speaker 5: We did order pretty good barbecue. Yeah, it was a
- 38:58Speaker 5: good time, but we were just very tame.
- 39:01Speaker 2: Yeah, if we were not as wild as we normally.
- 39:04Speaker 2: So this is what happens when we don't have a
- 39:06Speaker 2: dass core. Yeah, we're just tame. We're just lame. We're Sydney. Yeah,
- 39:11Speaker 2: we had no bad influences and we were boring. Yeah,
- 39:17Speaker 2: I'll do better next time, I promise, because Saturday night
- 39:21Speaker 2: we go into our kind of alliance or Saturday morning,
- 39:25Speaker 2: Uh boys, how do we? How do we fare?
- 39:29Speaker 1: Sheep?
- 39:31Speaker 4: I had the lovely effect to be able to see
- 39:34Speaker 4: sheep in around one. So that was amazing.
- 39:37Speaker 2: Yeah, round one. And I'm not saying I'm not saying
- 39:43Speaker 2: that you're saying, I'm not saying that there's a conspiracy,
- 39:49Speaker 2: But there was a damn conspiracy that was the biggest
- 39:53Speaker 2: pile of bullshit I have ever seen in my life.
- 39:59Speaker 5: The people that stayed in our house.
- 40:02Speaker 4: Nine of them were playing one, nine of them were
- 40:05Speaker 4: an archon. Six were pairedom. But that's a forty. You're
- 40:12Speaker 4: gonna have something, You're.
- 40:12Speaker 2: Gonna have some, not every single one. Round one I
- 40:17Speaker 2: got paired up with the You got paired up with Sheep, Pete.
- 40:21Speaker 2: You went up against Dexter, right, yes, sir, I think danger.
- 40:28Speaker 2: But was the only one who didn't get paired up
- 40:29Speaker 2: with somebody in the house.
- 40:32Speaker 4: He played a.
- 40:35Speaker 1: Really and lost. No both played. He was either between
- 40:43Speaker 1: Amber Skuys and d M and he was no.
- 40:45Speaker 6: No.
- 40:46Speaker 4: He played against played against A played right next there
- 40:52Speaker 4: was a A in the field. It was sheep and I.
- 40:55Speaker 4: It was right next to us. He learned a lesson
- 40:58Speaker 4: off of away.
- 41:00Speaker 1: So it is.
- 41:01Speaker 2: Something, Yeah, Marty, take cover. He's gone good says he's
- 41:08Speaker 2: dealing with a tornado, but yeah, take cover. Yeah, I
- 41:13Speaker 2: was fearful we were going to have one tonight with
- 41:15Speaker 2: all the rain and stuff going on.
- 41:17Speaker 4: There was one down by sheep.
- 41:20Speaker 2: Yeah say yeah, crazy weather, Wisconsin's having again.
- 41:27Speaker 1: Craziness, But I'm not.
- 41:30Speaker 4: The lesson that was learned was in regards to soul snatcher,
- 41:34Speaker 4: So that's your dis artifact. Each time a creature is destroyed,
- 41:37Speaker 4: its owner gains one. Our good boy danger but was
- 41:42Speaker 4: going ahead and playing d M his DM Dack had
- 41:46Speaker 4: old switcheroo and it was basically switching after capturing some amber.
- 41:54Speaker 4: How they had played it is that the actual person
- 41:57Speaker 4: who controlled the disc pod with Soltau was gaining the
- 42:00Speaker 4: amber for the creature that was destroyed because it was
- 42:02Speaker 4: on his side. But it says its owner gains one,
- 42:07Speaker 4: so it actually should have gone a danger both it was.
- 42:12Speaker 1: I forgot.
- 42:12Speaker 4: It's a very it's a very easy thing to miss,
- 42:15Speaker 4: but they.
- 42:17Speaker 1: Were awarding it to the controller instead of the owner.
- 42:19Speaker 1: I don't think it was stressed.
- 42:20Speaker 2: As correct, so it could be at yes, it could
- 42:26Speaker 2: be a big difference. Also, I managed to get our
- 42:30Speaker 2: boy perfect on stream round one.
- 42:34Speaker 1: For him to never know.
- 42:37Speaker 2: He no, he got his warning with me and Arkaante
- 42:40Speaker 2: two because he wasn't fully completing his effects before moving on,
- 42:43Speaker 2: and I had to keep telling him, you need to
- 42:45Speaker 2: complete your effect, and then dead sync was just there
- 42:50Speaker 2: and he's, yeah.
- 42:51Speaker 1: Did you explain to them why you wanted him on
- 42:53Speaker 1: the stream, and he still did it. I didn't.
- 42:56Speaker 2: Okay, I asked nicely, and I batted my eye. But
- 43:01Speaker 2: the problem was is that he had a stupid Memorrocks deck,
- 43:04Speaker 2: so he never had to use any of his tokens something,
- 43:09Speaker 2: so it didn't even cost. The game was over in
- 43:12Speaker 2: six minutes, so they never had to use any of
- 43:14Speaker 2: his other tokens besides Ember.
- 43:17Speaker 4: Yeah sealed, he just Memorrocks and all our mars. So
- 43:22Speaker 4: he's got you off of it.
- 43:23Speaker 2: I was. I was so like deflated after that, but yeah,
- 43:30Speaker 2: that was that. Back back to Saturday. Yeah, Saturday, I
- 43:34Speaker 2: got I don't want to say I got him one,
- 43:37Speaker 2: but he he said, he, he said. He calmed down
- 43:40Speaker 2: after that and started paying closer attention. We'll see if
- 43:42Speaker 2: that rolls over. Not real one hundred percent sure if
- 43:45Speaker 2: it will, er won't, but we'll find out. Thanks to
- 43:48Speaker 2: dead Sink for serving him a warning.
- 43:51Speaker 1: Appreciate it.
- 43:52Speaker 5: He did. Uh mister perfect did go on to win
- 43:55Speaker 5: Sealed Survival.
- 43:56Speaker 2: Yep, yes, yep, we said that.
- 43:59Speaker 1: Thanks for joining him.
- 44:00Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, he took. He took the Sealed Survival and
- 44:05Speaker 4: in one at four one. He also ends up taking
- 44:09Speaker 4: one of the pack drafts later on too, so.
- 44:12Speaker 1: Oh yeah, draft. Yeah.
- 44:14Speaker 4: Yeah, our locals they're pretty hot.
- 44:18Speaker 1: Cheap.
- 44:19Speaker 4: How did you feel about being matched up with with
- 44:21Speaker 4: me in round one?
- 44:24Speaker 5: I was not looking forward to that match at all.
- 44:27Speaker 3: There you go.
- 44:29Speaker 5: But it was the start of what was very consistent
- 44:33Speaker 5: all weekend, which was you're not playing creatures. Yep, there
- 44:38Speaker 5: was so much Trenk's creed and cryptic collapse in this field.
- 44:44Speaker 5: Just quit playing creatures and so you can't take all
- 44:49Speaker 5: your amber.
- 44:50Speaker 4: So I went back and forth, and actually, even just
- 44:53Speaker 4: moments before the our kind of events went off, I
- 44:58Speaker 4: still hadn't picked my deck and committed. That's a note
- 45:01Speaker 4: to yourself. You'll do better if you actually pick a
- 45:04Speaker 4: deck and just practice it and go with it. I
- 45:06Speaker 4: knew splinter Back well, Splinterback not well enough, I will say,
- 45:11Speaker 4: but it's PV Logo Sanctum Shadows. It did have trinks.
- 45:17Speaker 4: You also knew it because it was originally your deck.
- 45:20Speaker 4: But we kind of I felt that you had control
- 45:24Speaker 4: right from the beginning, and it just kept going. I
- 45:26Speaker 4: could not really draw and get anything rolling in this deck,
- 45:29Speaker 4: which was a little bit odd, but it is what
- 45:32Speaker 4: it is.
- 45:32Speaker 5: Yeah, you definitely never got any traction.
- 45:36Speaker 4: Nope, a little bit on my part with the Shadows
- 45:40Speaker 4: early on or no this. I had sanctum early on
- 45:45Speaker 4: and I kind of stayed in that for was probably
- 45:48Speaker 4: an extra turn or two that I didn't need to,
- 45:51Speaker 4: But I think it really came down to you had
- 45:54Speaker 4: Key cheated with your Battlefleet key abduction for Key one,
- 45:59Speaker 4: which is a bummer because I had my hoodwink to
- 46:02Speaker 4: do nothing then as you stole, so I had to
- 46:04Speaker 4: kind of hold on to that a little bit. But
- 46:08Speaker 4: it was when you went for Key two. You were
- 46:10Speaker 4: sitting at you push to nine Amber and I have
- 46:13Speaker 4: five cards left, and I'm sitting with my IG, but
- 46:19Speaker 4: IG is not in my hand. It is in the
- 46:20Speaker 4: bottom five cards. So I immediately look, I'm gonna zert
- 46:25Speaker 4: and kill myself in order to draw one. So we're
- 46:28Speaker 4: down to four cards. I have four year that I'm
- 46:31Speaker 4: gonna play. I'm gonna look and I should have a
- 46:33Speaker 4: fifty to fifty chance, and neither of them go ahead
- 46:36Speaker 4: and hit. It was another logos creature because all my
- 46:42Speaker 4: logos were buried at the bottom, which was not great.
- 46:44Speaker 4: But I play both of them and then I make
- 46:50Speaker 4: a fatal decision, which you smile at, and I have.
- 46:53Speaker 5: A parent yeah, it was.
- 46:55Speaker 4: It was real bad because I actually had my out
- 46:57Speaker 4: boys and girls and that was Rage Reset, but without
- 47:01Speaker 4: thinking I played it as a fate because randomly discard
- 47:05Speaker 4: half of the cards from your hand, rounding down great
- 47:08Speaker 4: except the play effect that's on Rage re Set one.
- 47:10Speaker 4: It would have given me an amber, but the play
- 47:12Speaker 4: effect says destroy any number of friendly creatures. I had
- 47:15Speaker 4: two that I just played, draw one card for each
- 47:18Speaker 4: creature destroyed. This way, there were only two cards left
- 47:21Speaker 4: and deck, which meant IG was one of those cards,
- 47:25Speaker 4: so there was no point in me having the logos
- 47:28Speaker 4: two creatures. It literally mattered nothing.
- 47:33Speaker 1: You punted that hard.
- 47:35Speaker 4: I punted, and again I think it's something that you
- 47:39Speaker 4: just tune out. I was drawn really bad and I
- 47:41Speaker 4: get frustrated, but yes, read your cards, play them out.
- 47:45Speaker 4: Look at it because the two cards were there, and
- 47:50Speaker 4: had I done that, there would have been three off
- 47:52Speaker 4: of it for the amber that was there, and then
- 47:55Speaker 4: five on the IG, so I should have been right
- 47:59Speaker 4: back at check. But instead that did not happen.
- 48:03Speaker 5: You would have been at two keys five amber, and
- 48:06Speaker 5: I would have been at one key and not going
- 48:10Speaker 5: for my next one. That would have definitely been a
- 48:12Speaker 5: game changer.
- 48:13Speaker 4: No, that was ig because you were going to go
- 48:15Speaker 4: ahead and forge the second key off of it.
- 48:17Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I would have been at one key and
- 48:18Speaker 5: not no two keys.
- 48:21Speaker 1: Yeah right, we.
- 48:22Speaker 5: Two keys, but no extra amber. Your two keys and
- 48:25Speaker 5: five amber.
- 48:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:27Speaker 4: And the difference here is that you pushed with that amber.
- 48:31Speaker 4: Because of the five you had two keys and then
- 48:34Speaker 4: three amber you were able to go into your mars
- 48:36Speaker 4: turn and then keebduct just for the right amount. So yeah,
- 48:40Speaker 4: that was again hit both key abductions right in that amount.
- 48:45Speaker 4: So you took out PV right away. A good job,
- 48:47Speaker 4: my friend, good job. But you were hot. You went
- 48:50Speaker 4: six to oh and just kept going through the field.
- 48:53Speaker 4: I will argue the deck that you played in the
- 48:55Speaker 4: second round was very similar basically. I think that's why
- 48:58Speaker 4: some people are frustrated.
- 48:59Speaker 5: People like a freaking mirror match, except it had almost
- 49:03Speaker 5: like the exact same logo SPoD, but it had cryptic
- 49:07Speaker 5: collapse instead of YEP, I think. But otherwise it felt
- 49:13Speaker 5: but I felt like, yeah, I played the same game twice.
- 49:16Speaker 4: But I think that's some of the frustration. Well, but
- 49:19Speaker 4: if you see a smaller card pool and you see
- 49:21Speaker 4: some of the comments that are showing up as consistently powerful,
- 49:26Speaker 4: very good cards like this is part of the reason,
- 49:28Speaker 4: Like I was really looking at trying to actually play
- 49:32Speaker 4: my names uh DM deck, and the end decision was
- 49:36Speaker 4: I didn't want to just go to two and finished
- 49:41Speaker 4: there that that that's that was the honest choice. I'm like, hey,
- 49:44Speaker 4: PV will play out better. I had two PV decks
- 49:47Speaker 4: and the DM, but I narrowed it down to splinterback
- 49:49Speaker 4: and then DM. I think that the DM deck is
- 49:54Speaker 4: more fun to play, but I'm like, it's just not
- 49:56Speaker 4: as competitive, and yet it still was the same. So again,
- 50:03Speaker 4: play what you want, have some fun with it. I
- 50:06Speaker 4: then played our good buddy danger Boat and I felt bad.
- 50:10Speaker 4: That was not a close game. Well it was closer
- 50:13Speaker 4: than you need to on DM because I couldn't draw again.
- 50:15Speaker 4: But I did take it. And then game three I
- 50:19Speaker 4: actually lost to DM and just got absolutely obliterated. So
- 50:23Speaker 4: a business site getting rid of Trenk's creed and my
- 50:26Speaker 4: hoodwink and my ig. That's a thing. There's a lot
- 50:33Speaker 4: of business site going around with DM.
- 50:36Speaker 1: But I was gonna drop very good card.
- 50:39Speaker 4: It is very very good. But at that point I
- 50:41Speaker 4: was ready to drop because I have two losses in
- 50:43Speaker 4: rounds one and three. I'm not going to go ahead
- 50:45Speaker 4: to make the top cut for two. But because we
- 50:48Speaker 4: were an hour later, Aaron's like, well, just wait for
- 50:51Speaker 4: the side of it. So I played the last round.
- 50:53Speaker 4: I finished two to two, but again even with PV,
- 50:57Speaker 4: I still finished two too, So it would have been
- 50:59Speaker 4: better just to play a deck that I wanted to
- 51:01Speaker 4: play versus there weird.
- 51:03Speaker 1: My only losses were to PV. Weird Weird.
- 51:11Speaker 2: Yeah, both my losses and our con come to PV. Yeah,
- 51:16Speaker 2: they're things. I mean, mister perfect that it hit a
- 51:22Speaker 2: nice uh wow, I'm drawing a total blank.
- 51:27Speaker 1: Lateral shift on me.
- 51:30Speaker 2: If he does not pull the lateral shift at that
- 51:32Speaker 2: exact moment, I go bananas at that and just go crazy.
- 51:38Speaker 2: I had I had enough of my hand to start
- 51:40Speaker 2: the loop already. The he pulled a junk restoration from
- 51:46Speaker 2: my hand, and that's what would have gotten me haunted.
- 51:50Speaker 2: And then I just I go into the loopings as
- 51:54Speaker 2: Pete likes to play, say the watch me plays.
- 52:00Speaker 1: By g boo.
- 52:02Speaker 2: Yeah, he pulls that, and he pulls that, and then
- 52:07Speaker 2: I just it was a downward spiral from there because
- 52:10Speaker 2: I gotta make I got a shift and it went
- 52:16Speaker 2: not good.
- 52:17Speaker 1: What do you want fish?
- 52:19Speaker 3: Yeah, just invited to speak, So now I'm here.
- 52:22Speaker 1: Well you were raising your hand, no, brot.
- 52:26Speaker 4: I mean the kid should get a chance to speak
- 52:28Speaker 4: after his dominant weekend archives.
- 52:32Speaker 3: Well it's pretty good.
- 52:33Speaker 1: His story goes all rounds. Let me get mine out
- 52:35Speaker 1: of the way and then we'll go over there. So
- 52:39Speaker 1: I I lost the dexter round one and he can
- 52:41Speaker 1: elaborate on how that went. I did get a parasitic
- 52:44Speaker 1: charge key off, which I was very excited about. Yeah
- 52:46Speaker 1: that was cool, But that means you're losing, right, that's
- 52:49Speaker 1: the way it works.
- 52:50Speaker 3: And then I think you got it for two amber.
- 52:54Speaker 1: Yeah great, yeah, and then you didn't else that game.
- 53:01Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 53:03Speaker 2: Thank you for highlighting my my.
- 53:08Speaker 4: You already won, man, Just let him have his spotlight.
- 53:13Speaker 1: And then I think in Arkan. I played next a
- 53:16Speaker 1: gentleman from Kalamazoo who I played two other times this weekend,
- 53:21Speaker 1: and just a fantastic gentleman. You know. I tried talking
- 53:24Speaker 1: to him about TCO. He'd never heard of it. So
- 53:26Speaker 1: a newer player who hopefully is going to stick with
- 53:29Speaker 1: the game and find out what all's out there for him,
- 53:32Speaker 1: So that game I won, and then that was a
- 53:35Speaker 1: non that was Ambers guys versus Ambers guys. And then
- 53:38Speaker 1: round three, I get another one of these wonderful PV
- 53:42Speaker 1: decks is my opponent, and I'm looking the deck list over.
- 53:45Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, just more degenerate nonsense. And my opponent says, hey,
- 53:50Speaker 1: I think we've played this matchup before. He goes, I
- 53:54Speaker 1: played you on TCO and then you went on Discord
- 53:57Speaker 1: and he started talking about how you don't like PV. Yeah,
- 54:00Speaker 1: that's that doesn't really narrow it down, guy, That's that's
- 54:03Speaker 1: kind of what I do. So I apologize to him
- 54:07Speaker 1: because he said he started during Store Champs, so he's
- 54:10Speaker 1: a fairly new player too, so I try to be
- 54:12Speaker 1: as nice as possible, and he was nice despite the awful,
- 54:15Speaker 1: awful things he did to my deck, Just terrible stuff.
- 54:19Speaker 2: Show us where the Batman touched you, Pete.
- 54:22Speaker 1: All over, he touched me in my hand, my probably
- 54:25Speaker 1: my my discard pile just really went through one end
- 54:30Speaker 1: and out the other. No dignity left. So that's fun.
- 54:35Speaker 1: Thanks GG for PV once again, looking forward to your
- 54:40Speaker 1: next call it. Oh it's it's worse than next. I
- 54:45Speaker 1: don't think HPV can kill you, but this this one's
- 54:49Speaker 1: doing a number anyways.
- 54:50Speaker 2: Dexter can't kill you either, but it's trying.
- 54:54Speaker 1: It's well, we'll see what the numbers look like as
- 54:57Speaker 1: we go. All right, that's all all I have to
- 55:00Speaker 1: say on that. I'm looking forward to hearing Dexter's accounting
- 55:03Speaker 1: of his glorious rise.
- 55:05Speaker 4: Did you make it in as one of the four
- 55:07Speaker 4: to two slots though? For ARCon I did?
- 55:10Speaker 6: Yes, so me and John both just barely scraped by
- 55:14Speaker 6: in the seventh and eighth spot and went on to get.
- 55:16Speaker 3: First and second in nice nice yep. First round in
- 55:23Speaker 3: ARCon I beat Pete.
- 55:25Speaker 6: Second round, I went up against a pretty cool PV
- 55:28Speaker 6: deck with the sample forty two C card that like artifact,
- 55:32Speaker 6: that didn't get a freaky That one was fun.
- 55:35Speaker 3: That game was pretty close, but I sor yeah it did.
- 55:40Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I went up against that deck. It rushed me.
- 55:44Speaker 6: Yeah, that was a solid deck for sure. I mean
- 55:46Speaker 6: PV's good. Then round three, I lost to John Beaver
- 55:51Speaker 6: right after playing him in a practice round, like during
- 55:55Speaker 6: the lunch break. We played in a practice round and
- 55:57Speaker 6: I won that match. And then in the actual Swiss
- 56:00Speaker 6: pairings in round three, he was able to beat me
- 56:02Speaker 6: once he knew how my deck worked, and he just
- 56:04Speaker 6: didn't play creatures, and that's how TV games go sometimes.
- 56:09Speaker 3: Round don't play creatures.
- 56:17Speaker 6: And then round four was against Tobin and he was
- 56:20Speaker 6: able to take me down. His deck was just doing
- 56:23Speaker 6: all of its stuff. He got tranks out twice for
- 56:26Speaker 6: big money because I was had good logos, board going
- 56:30Speaker 6: and lots of archiving stuff. But he also had like
- 56:33Speaker 6: four cards on his deck that just discarded all of
- 56:35Speaker 6: my archives. So that didn't really help me all that moment.
- 56:39Speaker 6: So lost to Tobin in round four.
- 56:42Speaker 4: Round five, Tobin was on Khabib, which is a really
- 56:45Speaker 4: solid pranks. I'm trying to think of what's discarding, so
- 56:49Speaker 4: digital signal.
- 56:52Speaker 6: And the sanctum that can the broken intent. I think
- 56:57Speaker 6: he had two of those.
- 56:59Speaker 4: Uh, there's one other. There's one broken intent yet discarded archives.
- 57:03Speaker 1: Okay.
- 57:06Speaker 4: Interesting might have been the vault keeper in here, so
- 57:09Speaker 4: the steel is actually impacted by ballkeeper coming in. That's
- 57:15Speaker 4: an old wool card that you don't see too often.
- 57:17Speaker 4: So for Power one Arm or night Spirit, your amber
- 57:20Speaker 4: cannot be sold in.
- 57:22Speaker 6: I mean that's what John did against Sheep in the
- 57:26Speaker 6: top eight match right, just vault pretty good.
- 57:30Speaker 3: Anything killed me?
- 57:32Speaker 5: Yeah, yep, that was It's quite sad going six to
- 57:37Speaker 5: oh on day.
- 57:38Speaker 1: One and then down by a vault keeper.
- 57:43Speaker 5: A vault keeper, Uh so was life?
- 57:48Speaker 1: Wow?
- 57:50Speaker 2: One other thing.
- 57:51Speaker 5: Four TVs and amber skies and and a TOC deck.
- 57:59Speaker 3: And I also played a TOC deck round six.
- 58:03Speaker 5: Yeah, so that was a couple of good cocktacks with
- 58:08Speaker 5: all them damn.
- 58:09Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure it was a good I.
- 58:13Speaker 1: Think they were all creatures.
- 58:15Speaker 3: And no, there was a wrangler. I went up against
- 58:19Speaker 3: a wrangler in around six. Yeah.
- 58:21Speaker 6: It had Baylenora like with the wrangler and lots of
- 58:24Speaker 6: red lines and against all flags. It was really cool
- 58:28Speaker 6: TALC deck.
- 58:30Speaker 4: So looking at the top eight for Arkon, you had
- 58:32Speaker 4: four TV you and John B. Bever go ahead and
- 58:36Speaker 4: come in right at seven and eight. So two of
- 58:39Speaker 4: you smoke in and really take it. Olympio, mammon, play again,
- 58:43Speaker 4: mam in top Ford in sealed and the top Ford
- 58:47Speaker 4: in ARCon. You can see somebody here there sheep. You
- 58:52Speaker 4: had Coda Dom Fham with his gr down a test
- 58:55Speaker 4: which is well known DAK and very very solid. I
- 58:58Speaker 4: believe that took, isn't that what took? Baltimore last year
- 59:02Speaker 4: if I'm correct, you're correct, and then Rainbow Wolf actually
- 59:08Speaker 4: on top with his Coatina fiends a very interesting, very
- 59:13Speaker 4: interesting selection of decks. H speed Paste I'll give another
- 59:17Speaker 4: shout out to because he made top eight and sealed
- 59:19Speaker 4: and then also top forward for our coun So you
- 59:22Speaker 4: saw a couple of different people showing up consistently, which
- 59:26Speaker 4: is really really nice.
- 59:29Speaker 5: Speed Paste PV deck played a little bit different than
- 59:33Speaker 5: everybody else's. Wasn't the same trunks? Creed didn't it?
- 59:41Speaker 3: Oh?
- 59:41Speaker 1: No, it's just.
- 59:43Speaker 4: Yeah, this is right value logos, Yeah, writer conever, undue flank,
- 59:51Speaker 4: double gift of Amber Remy's whore, Yeah, embellish and then
- 59:55Speaker 4: the triple in furnace.
- 59:59Speaker 1: We didn't talk about.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: I'm not sure if you get guys want to talk
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: about on a later episode or not.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: Well, you mentioned that there was a lot of Katina
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: Feene decks. Really there was like seventy one out of
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: seventy two Katina feed decks. If you think about it,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: there's two. I think that's what you're about to lose
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: to the decks. No, I was seventy one out of
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: seventy two.
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: I don't understand there is there a reference here.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: What am I missing? It's okay, it's math. I'm sorry,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: I'm done. No, I understand, I'm not. There's seventy two decks.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: There's seventy two cards. When you have two decks, and
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: then if there's a card missing, you have seventy one
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: out of seventy two. Oh that's the ratio of Katina
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: fin decking of cards missing? Do we want? So?
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: We totally forgot about a missing card and.
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: It happened in a game for sealed. It was very unfortunate.
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: Yes, well, I don't let them tell the story.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: Yeah, who's the only thing.
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: The only real thing about that was the fact that
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: we got just crushed with OTT this weekend, right, like
- 1:01:11Speaker 5: everything went pretty well, but oh my gosh, the time
- 1:01:15Speaker 5: between rounds this weekend was felt excessive to me, like
- 1:01:20Speaker 5: one of them does between pairings, the time before we
- 1:01:24Speaker 5: started events, like Josh Orbital Tangent was on a tear
- 1:01:30Speaker 5: with his talking this weekend, and maybe you know, I
- 1:01:33Speaker 5: think half problems. I've been to so many of these
- 1:01:35Speaker 5: that I don't need any of the words anymore. But man,
- 1:01:41Speaker 5: there were a lot of words before we got to
- 1:01:44Speaker 5: play any games.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: I mean, one of the big I guess breaks was
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: during day two somebody I forget who was the guy
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: who bought all the pizza. He also does the for
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: the ax for.
- 1:02:01Speaker 5: Upper Tall Bird.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: Yes, super Tall Bird.
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: He made the trophy that I won for our coon.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: Yeah it was.
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: Pizza was brought in so none of us had to
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: like go out for lunch, which was really nice.
- 1:02:18Speaker 5: Yes, but then it also made that hour long break
- 1:02:21Speaker 5: feel forever, because it.
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: Really did make it feel long. I agree it was weird, but.
- 1:02:29Speaker 5: It was very nice.
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: I mean, it's a good thing to not have to
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: go driving somewhere.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: Or walk Panera or whatever that.
- 1:02:39Speaker 5: Was Saint Louis Bread Company.
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: Sure it was also Panera Bread.
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: Yes, So I mean that that definitely made it feel longer. Yeah, Ott,
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: this weekend was.
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: It was a little brutal.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: I said, I don't know if it's just because we've
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: been I mean, I don't know. There was a lot
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: of new faces. Like one of the guys there was like, hey,
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: I started playing on Thursday, like the Thursday before the
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: Vault Tour, and his friend showed him the game and
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: he showed up to a Vault tour.
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: Which is great. We love to see that are you
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: guys surprised to see fifty players there?
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: Shocked? I absolutely flort. I really thought we would be
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: right around the same numbers as as a Roosevelt, maybe
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: a little higher with some of the locals, because Saint
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: Louis is a tough place, it seems like to get
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: into and out of.
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: I agree with that statement, and I was very happy
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: to see fifty. I'd actually heard fifty screw but what's
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: listed in our connor Kana is basically forty for our
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: count and ten for alliance. Right, maybe the fifty two
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: was people who had signed up total.
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: Signed up and then switch right or something.
- 1:03:56Speaker 5: Yeah, there were definitely some people who didn't, because Josh
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: was announcing names at one point asking if they were
- 1:04:03Speaker 5: there because they'd registered but.
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: Didn't didn't sign him, right, Yeah, So I I really
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: thought it was going to be very much that, and
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: then when it wasn't, I was like, oh, hey, maybe
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: this is a good spot to have things. I guess,
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: so it is, you know, it is what it is,
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: So moving forward, some of us went and played yet
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: definitely thanks to Kyle for bringing a pile of ember
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: Sky's decks, because that's all you could play in ub
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: yet I.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: Definitely did say this.
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: I thought it was very clear.
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: So yeah, I did say what Yeah, who won that event?
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: I don't came come that.
- 1:04:54Speaker 5: The guy loaned out all the questionable decks.
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: Ey, No, he was running Sam.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: We don't.
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: We don't ask how the resealing is. I mean I did.
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: Find I found it interesting that a couple of the
- 1:05:09Speaker 4: people I played. I looked for what houses would not
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: overlap and that would make a good section. I gave
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: you wookie two decks. I brought in two decks.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: I made some people who were ready for this event. Yes,
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: like I gave you the logopan what do you mean?
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: I gave you a logo span and I had a
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: geistoid band. I thought that was perfectly fine. Should the
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: band because man, that atomic destabilizer. Oh that thing's just
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: it's just a house.
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: I actually faced the first three rounds was all geistoid band,
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: so we were allowed to choose between.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: We're happy to report did its thin Round one. I
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: believe there are two losses because the houses in both decks.
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: There were a couple of people who had doubled up
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: and just chanced it, and that kind of bit them.
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: But there were also some individuals who had some really
- 1:06:11Speaker 4: really strong decks. I know Kaimira played was the first
- 1:06:15Speaker 4: four rounds out of the five had played the same
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: deck and his band was Geistoid, So this was one
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: hundred and one sass amber Sky's deck, pretty solid Archaanometer
- 1:06:30Speaker 4: with a skyborne pip double redline rotation, you know, talent scout,
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: some security details, so there was against all flags. This
- 1:06:40Speaker 4: had some spice, but you saw some people who brought
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: some very very very very strong decks, and then Kimer
- 1:06:47Speaker 4: did have to go ahead and win in the last
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: round with his other deck. So I thought the event
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: was fine. Okay, I know you didn't necessarily enjoy it
- 1:06:57Speaker 4: as much.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: But I just number one, I'm not a huge fan
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: of ember skies to begin with, so being forced to
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: play a set that I don't necessarily enjoy kind of
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: a bummer. But it's it's it's a it's really in
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: the end of nothing burger. I had a great time
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: all weekend. I played, you know, I played lots of
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: key Forge, I will say, I mean, I guess not
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: going into final thoughts, but kind of like there was
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: always something to do, right you you even if you
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: were out of the main event. And you're into side
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: events like I know some people took it rough, but
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: not everybody did. And to be honest with you, like
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: it was like, oh, I'm just gonna shuffle over into
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: this event. I'm gonna shuffle over into that event. You
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: were always able to play, right like, you were never out.
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: You were never out, and you were playing for something
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: like the the addition of the dump a pack in
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: or whatever h draconian measures pack in like it made
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: it feel like there were stakes involved instead of just
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: then I'm gonna say it, raffle tickets, right, I don't
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: ever win shitting them raffles, right, Like, I probably still
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: got them in my wallet because that's how little they
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: mattered to me, because I didn't win anything. But you
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: were always able to you know, I ended up two
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: decks up for the weekend, you know with just how
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: I I now have three Jircaronian measures decks I don't
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: care about, so you know, and on one extra Vault
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: Master twenty six. So I mean, you were always doing something.
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: You're always able to play like, you never were like
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: out of just like, oh well I'm here now, now
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: what do I do? Which I do feel like in
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: previous Vault Tours. That's kind of like you're out of
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: the main event and it's like, well, you can play
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: a second umber, and you're like I could, or you know,
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: I could go literally do anything else.
- 1:08:53Speaker 4: I will say in Ubli Boys, I got some Max
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: moom Keyborge time.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: I really sure you did well.
- 1:09:02Speaker 4: I was playing a super fast deck and so the
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: first four rounds we actually played both of the decks.
- 1:09:08Speaker 4: I played eight games in those four rounds, and uh,
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: the only reason we didn't do it in the final
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: round is I played someone who was another teacher and
- 1:09:16Speaker 4: we just talked after playing that bit. But it was
- 1:09:20Speaker 4: just it was really nice to be able to play
- 1:09:22Speaker 4: key Forge and to be able to jam games, even
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: if it was something different. And because PV was seen
- 1:09:28Speaker 4: in ARCon I mean, yes, I could have I could
- 1:09:31Speaker 4: have played further. I could have hoped to be able
- 1:09:33Speaker 4: to miss the cut. I just looked and said, I
- 1:09:36Speaker 4: really was done with playing TV, and I think a
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: couple of people were, so I look forward to being
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: able to play Amber Skies. I enjoyed that experience. I
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: will argue Oupliet again was a little bit on OTT
- 1:09:48Speaker 4: time and it struggled with it.
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: It was.
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: It wasn't necessarily like it was the fact that you
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: were like, oh you have to go Embers guys, that's
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: all your allowed to play as ever skies and I
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: was kind of.
- 1:10:02Speaker 4: Well, but that was that was stated. I mean, the
- 1:10:04Speaker 4: only thing that could be done is that not.
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: I understand it was stated, but it's again, you got
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: to understand that not everyone likes every one of your sets, Gigi,
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: so like, don't maybe restrict play. I mean, I guess
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: I don't really know how else better to do it.
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: Well, but you can't do Ubliet with just open all
- 1:10:22Speaker 4: sets because there's too many houses.
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: Maybe you get to ban three houses.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:10:28Speaker 4: Yeah, that's not I mean, that's not how it was
- 1:10:31Speaker 4: set up. But I will say the one thing that
- 1:10:36Speaker 4: could have been done is announce the events earlier so
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: that people could planime days previous.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:10:43Speaker 5: Yeah, I's got plenty of grief about that at the event.
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: So he heard it. We're fine. The only other comment
- 1:10:50Speaker 4: that really made my day was at the end of
- 1:10:53Speaker 4: round three, we were sitting here, we were waiting and
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: waiting and waiting, and this was in part that was
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: player had a deck that pushed to time consistently, and
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: that was part of just the deck. So one of
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: our judges came over and said, hey, remember you got
- 1:11:12Speaker 4: to stick around, guys. You gotta get prizes, so don't
- 1:11:14Speaker 4: leave early, because we had a number of people who
- 1:11:15Speaker 4: started to leave and we're like, it's round three, isn't
- 1:11:19Speaker 4: this five rounds? We still have another two rounds and
- 1:11:23Speaker 4: you heard some some scuffling on under the breath, like, ah,
- 1:11:26Speaker 4: son of we still got more. That's where the frustration
- 1:11:30Speaker 4: comes in, is yes, we're all waiting. But part of
- 1:11:33Speaker 4: that is that this wasn't on an individual from Gig.
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: This was just on players that the games were going long.
- 1:11:41Speaker 4: Because a deck that was brought really pushed right to time,
- 1:11:45Speaker 4: and when that happens, it carries everyone that everyone is.
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: It was a walk style deck.
- 1:11:53Speaker 4: It was something.
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: All right, we're gonna kind of skip into Sunday where
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: we get into the finals for Alliance and ar Con.
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: We will talk a little bit about Draft, but I
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: think we're going to do an episode on Draft getting
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: a little long in the.
- 1:12:11Speaker 5: Two I get a week off.
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: Yeah, you kind of do, because you decided to suck
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: it up round one in the finals.
- 1:12:19Speaker 5: Or on topic, Hey, yeah, I mean, we wouldn't have
- 1:12:22Speaker 5: played draft even had I not.
- 1:12:28Speaker 4: Time.
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: We could talk about draft. We don't have to get
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: into details, but we can kind of give our thoughts
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: on it.
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: It looks really interesting to me. I would have done
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: it if I.
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: Could finals come up.
- 1:12:38Speaker 5: Only side event I played in was Sealed Survival.
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: Yeah, well, I will say shut out. On Sunday, we
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: did have uh Kvereer going ahead and taking with PV
- 1:12:52Speaker 4: Alliance winner and Kaimira going ahead, both qualifying for Worlds
- 1:12:56Speaker 4: as the runner up. So shut Out, snack stap Forward
- 1:12:59Speaker 4: and Shingelia went ahead and three together three decks that
- 1:13:04Speaker 4: they did not play because they were not there for
- 1:13:06Speaker 4: Sealed on Friday, So they threw DM three decks together
- 1:13:09Speaker 4: and made it as top few.
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: You barely made it Dexter, but Dexter was your winner
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: for for sealed if we totally skipped past that Dexter
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: one sealed.
- 1:13:19Speaker 5: Yes, what was your thought when you were three to
- 1:13:21Speaker 5: Ozer one sealed?
- 1:13:25Speaker 3: I thought about dropping to do the Sealed Survival.
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: Yeah, attle Bit, your deck was ridiculous. Both qualified you
- 1:13:38Speaker 4: guys at Worlds. But yeah, your deck was real good.
- 1:13:41Speaker 6: I expected someone else's DM to turn out some good stuff,
- 1:13:45Speaker 6: but turned out what I got just steal a bunch
- 1:13:47Speaker 6: of ambers.
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: Pretty solid for.
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: It turns out the second place Alliance player might have
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: given you a run for your money, So maybe you
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: got lucky.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: Who knows.
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: Actually I don't know. I didn't even look at it.
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: I'd have to ask Kyle. Well, there's Kyle. Let's just
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: go ahead and there we go.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: Let's get everybody.
- 1:14:08Speaker 4: While you're doing that, shout out to our ark on
- 1:14:11Speaker 4: top eight. So I'm fed you and Jef Bebber going
- 1:14:13Speaker 4: ahead and qualifying for Worlds with TV Top four, Speed
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: Pace and Mammon, so PV and Amber skies there three.
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: Quarters of the top four, whereas PV just Sam Yeah, and.
- 1:14:25Speaker 4: Then top top eight was Tobinator, Doc Sheep, domb Fham
- 1:14:30Speaker 4: and Rainbow Wolf. So you did have talk g R,
- 1:14:33Speaker 4: CODA and PV and those other four so made top eight.
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: But all right, Kyle, tell us what in the world
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: was in the d You went up against d M
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: right in the finals.
- 1:14:49Speaker 7: Uh No, it was PVY.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: TV is a lion.
- 1:14:54Speaker 7: It was just like it was. I did not against
- 1:15:00Speaker 7: the DM, though.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: I want to know what was that it?
- 1:15:04Speaker 8: I played against TV and then I played against TV,
- 1:15:06Speaker 8: and then I played against d T, and then I uh,
- 1:15:10Speaker 8: it was triple PV, then DT and then I uh.
- 1:15:13Speaker 7: That was the first four rounds, so I ended up
- 1:15:14Speaker 7: going to two.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: And then in.
- 1:15:17Speaker 8: Top four I played against the DT and the Frog
- 1:15:20Speaker 8: Legs Alliance that Sneck was playing. I did beat that,
- 1:15:23Speaker 8: even though I lost to it in the qualifying rounds,
- 1:15:26Speaker 8: but I did beat it in the top four. And
- 1:15:27Speaker 8: then in the finals I played against TV, which I
- 1:15:31Speaker 8: played against in round.
- 1:15:32Speaker 7: Three of qualification and lost two. I didn't forge a
- 1:15:38Speaker 7: single key in three games against that.
- 1:15:41Speaker 5: You had two amber at the end of that first game.
- 1:15:43Speaker 8: Look, yeah, the first game I had to actually, so
- 1:15:45Speaker 8: the first dame for the qualification I.
- 1:15:48Speaker 7: Might have had no amber. So yeah, I went from
- 1:15:52Speaker 7: zero to two to five over the course of the
- 1:15:54Speaker 7: game so slowly.
- 1:15:58Speaker 4: Yeah, Wookie, you were asking what was in the PV Alliance.
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: Kinda I don't see it in here, but yeah.
- 1:16:06Speaker 4: It's there, So it's double traumatic.
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: I wanted to know.
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: He's here.
- 1:16:12Speaker 6: I heard it was a lot of board based and
- 1:16:15Speaker 6: the one control so I just got bored.
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: Ye did board stuff?
- 1:16:21Speaker 4: Yeah, actually, so you want to know the DM that
- 1:16:23Speaker 4: was sealed that was put in.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I want to know allan DM alliance one.
- 1:16:30Speaker 4: Okay, I had that because so I actually went around
- 1:16:34Speaker 4: shout out to Bear Bear. I know we didn't have
- 1:16:36Speaker 4: it for Portland, but I did try and collect the decks.
- 1:16:38Speaker 4: So that's why we actually have what decks are there
- 1:16:40Speaker 4: for alliance. So if someone can do that for Portland,
- 1:16:44Speaker 4: sorry for Baltimore, I'd appreciate it because it's hard to
- 1:16:47Speaker 4: talk about, hey, what showed up and what made top
- 1:16:51Speaker 4: cut when you just don't even know what's in the decks.
- 1:16:54Speaker 4: So has three that are listed and then the last
- 1:16:59Speaker 4: one is what was put together, and it's so all
- 1:17:06Speaker 4: all I honestly.
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: Kind of gross. It's got double unity prism and a
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: scrambler storm reiteration is in there that Yeah, what's its recursion?
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: I got to imagine, Oh, it's got a researcher for
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: I guess some recursion. Oh forgive and forget that doesn't
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: forgive two different types so you can go back and
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: get it. Yeah, that's kind of nuts.
- 1:17:32Speaker 4: Well, for uh Sophia, what really stood out was actually
- 1:17:38Speaker 4: Designer crick so three power two armor Human Scientists logos.
- 1:17:44Speaker 4: Each time your opponent discards a card from their hand
- 1:17:47Speaker 4: draw card and designer captures one. The capture isn't much,
- 1:17:51Speaker 4: but it's the draw that's really important. That and then
- 1:17:55Speaker 4: you just have s freight control with double traumatic echo
- 1:17:57Speaker 4: whiteboard even that just to hint from what's there, but
- 1:18:03Speaker 4: double unity prism to move forward you have, Oh you
- 1:18:05Speaker 4: shouldn't have to gain amberg you.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: Have is.
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: Wild, especially if you can get it under see. I
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: don't know if you play it under against like I had,
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: like an ask again later maybe a trust your feelings.
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: So that's just ability, like, oh, I'm going to call
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: this house, and now you're in a house that maybe
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: doesn't have their ember control and you hit that, Oh
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: you shouldn't have.
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: Bananas, pretty baller.
- 1:18:35Speaker 4: So I will put the alliance here. I posted in
- 1:18:38Speaker 4: the Saint Louis channel, which is about to get news somewhere.
- 1:18:41Speaker 4: But the alliance built from DM was hysterical. It came
- 1:18:45Speaker 4: in as a whopping sixty seven sass. That's right, boys,
- 1:18:49Speaker 4: that's what made your top four. So it had your
- 1:18:52Speaker 4: your gigantic I don't know what you were talking about.
- 1:18:54Speaker 4: You couldn't play it, but uh an alliance. He played
- 1:18:56Speaker 4: it the zoemach and that's while zomach is attacking nor taunt, elusive, poison, hazardous,
- 1:19:02Speaker 4: and vulnerable. After fight, deal two to a creature for
- 1:19:06Speaker 4: each borge key the double tie Lord, which is actually
- 1:19:09Speaker 4: pretty solid after your pontent discards a card from their hand,
- 1:19:11Speaker 4: gain one. If you're playing in Alliance that has a
- 1:19:14Speaker 4: little bit more but nothing really else. It has double
- 1:19:18Speaker 4: lay lines, it has double snapper Din, and then in
- 1:19:25Speaker 4: the Unfathomable it has double Kaipo Princess Leilani, which just
- 1:19:32Speaker 4: gets nuked because it's a witch. See.
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: I don't know if I'm sort of been able to
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: beat that, like that's my alliance, doesn't he see doesn't
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: have well so ironic.
- 1:19:44Speaker 5: But if they're not stopping you, it doesn't matter.
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: A true So just would have been can I get
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: the deck moving fast enough?
- 1:19:54Speaker 5: Can that deck land aboard and win before you win?
- 1:19:58Speaker 4: The two Alliance decks that did not top eight, the
- 1:20:02Speaker 4: bottom two were both coded decks, so that I found
- 1:20:07Speaker 4: interesting that was not listed here, but it did show up.
- 1:20:11Speaker 4: And again I think the coded deck that the Code
- 1:20:14Speaker 4: Alliance that you were playing or would have played Wookie
- 1:20:17Speaker 4: actually is a very very very strong deck.
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: It still is. Sheep is right, I should have played it.
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: It does have a nature's call, so I could have
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: bounced some stuff.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: I guess.
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: It's gotta save the package deal too damage to each creature.
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: I mean, uh, yeah, sheep is probably right. I should have.
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: I should have my gut told me to go Alliance
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: regardless because I'm still my quest on my quests, on
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: my quests, right, Like I screwed the pooch last year,
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: I should have said fall and really just gone back
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: into Alliance and played this deck in Worlds. I did
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: not because I did not think it was going to
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: be good enough. But it wasn't about that. It was
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: about getting accolade on the deck. Screwed the Pooch there too,
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: So now it's like, well, I could do it again,
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: so we'll see if I can. I don't know if
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: I will be able to do it again, but we'll see.
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: I've already I think that rescor about Baltimore.
- 1:21:26Speaker 4: Yeah, I think that your Coda Alliance is strong enough
- 1:21:31Speaker 4: to be able to make a top eight, simply because
- 1:21:34Speaker 4: there's not a lot of players. I don't think it's
- 1:21:36Speaker 4: a top competitive.
- 1:21:37Speaker 5: Deck, so I think it is there, you go.
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: I mean it has the ability, right because the only
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: thing is like I only need a turn from PV
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: and if it gives me that turn, it can go
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: later Gators and just turn on the burners. So it
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: can also get completely shut out depending on what they hit.
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: So it is what it is. It's one of those
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: things where we won't know.
- 1:22:05Speaker 8: Now on the topic of choosing between Alliance and Arkhan,
- 1:22:10Speaker 8: as someone who went to the registration table and attempted
- 1:22:14Speaker 8: to register for Arkhan, actually I was registered for both tournaments.
- 1:22:22Speaker 7: Luckily it didn't matter.
- 1:22:23Speaker 8: But when Arkon fired, I was the forty eight fortieth
- 1:22:26Speaker 8: player in the field. Luckily that didn't make it, so
- 1:22:31Speaker 8: there would have been two buys. But yeah, whoever faced
- 1:22:34Speaker 8: me would have faced me around one of ARCon just
- 1:22:37Speaker 8: got the buy because when I registered for Alliance, they
- 1:22:42Speaker 8: did not drop.
- 1:22:43Speaker 7: Me from ARCon field.
- 1:22:46Speaker 8: But one thing I will say between choosing between ARCon
- 1:22:50Speaker 8: and Alliance is that there was a.
- 1:22:52Speaker 7: Very seamless transition between the.
- 1:22:55Speaker 8: End of fourth round for Alliance and then the start
- 1:23:00Speaker 8: of the side event round, which was very convenient. So
- 1:23:03Speaker 8: I would say, if you are between the two and
- 1:23:05Speaker 8: you are strongly considering playing in the side event on Saturday,
- 1:23:11Speaker 8: note that that that did start after the fourth round
- 1:23:14Speaker 8: and not the third round as was the case on Friday.
- 1:23:18Speaker 8: That that was actually pretty nice to be able to
- 1:23:20Speaker 8: fully compete in the Day one of Alliance right.
- 1:23:26Speaker 7: Not have to drop even if you have a top
- 1:23:29Speaker 7: place finish.
- 1:23:29Speaker 8: You can can complete all your play and then immediately
- 1:23:33Speaker 8: go play in the side event.
- 1:23:35Speaker 3: So I did like that.
- 1:23:36Speaker 7: That was a pretty pretty good feeling.
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: That was well done because like by by round three
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: or round four, you kind of know where you sit right,
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: so you kind of know what you should do right,
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: so you can you can either move on to doing
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: something different or takes takes your chances.
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: But keep listen.
- 1:24:00Speaker 5: And it's a lot of X two's that were making
- 1:24:02Speaker 5: final tables.
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: I mean it was you're not wrong, Like how many
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: X too, let's see.
- 1:24:08Speaker 5: I think that has just a lot to say about
- 1:24:12Speaker 5: the current meta and how yeah, like you win it
- 1:24:21Speaker 5: one game, you don't win it the next, especially when
- 1:24:23Speaker 5: you're playing at all this PV because they are so
- 1:24:27Speaker 5: high variants in their cards, sometimes they hit and just
- 1:24:30Speaker 5: kill you. And sometimes I play into Ewok's reiteration that
- 1:24:35Speaker 5: I thought was a rage reset early in the game,
- 1:24:37Speaker 5: just because I'm like, oh, I can discard some of
- 1:24:39Speaker 5: these logos cards I don't want to play, and you.
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: Did, and I did, and he did and then we uh,
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: we did draft. Now we're not going to really talk
- 1:24:53Speaker 2: too much about draft for getting along on the tooth here.
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: I did draft, Pete, did you do draft?
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: I did?
- 1:25:01Speaker 4: Uh?
- 1:25:01Speaker 5: And he got an honorable mention for drafting.
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: Oh yeah, he wasn't a draft, but then he famous. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: I forgot about that. Not good enough for award, but
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: good enough to say, thank you. What did you guys think?
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: What were your what your thoughts on drift?
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: Oh?
- 1:25:25Speaker 2: You, well, we're not going to go like deep deep
- 1:25:28Speaker 2: into it, but kind of like your.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: Thoughts pleasantly surprised. I thought, you know, it's clear marks
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: put a lot of time into it, a lot of
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: thought into it, probably a lot of money into it,
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: and it ran wonderfully. It was pretty neat. I've I've
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: only drafted in like online formats for like Magic, and
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: then there's Eternal, which is like an asynchronous draft, like
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: just janky stuff. No, they've never I don't think they've
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: ever bothered to try one, so my experience is super limited.
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: I enjoyed it a whole bunch, and I mean, you
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: sort of draft.
- 1:26:05Speaker 5: In that are Stone.
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: Yeah, well there's not even the illusion of competing with
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: other players though with the left and the right. I
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: had Boat on the left of me. Sorry, now I'm
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: getting into details. And he's a magic guy, so I'm like, oh,
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: he's gonna do some like three D chests on me.
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: He did terrible, so obviously I'm just a natural, just
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: a natural one.
- 1:26:32Speaker 4: I will counter that. The one person who's actually missing
- 1:26:35Speaker 4: from our count Arcanas. So the three eventual winners were
- 1:26:39Speaker 4: Pubbly Perfect and then shadow Melt. Shadow Meld actually ran
- 1:26:42Speaker 4: our group. He was sitting right to the right of me.
- 1:26:46Speaker 4: As someone who actually runs YouTube on drafting, that that's
- 1:26:51Speaker 4: huge advantage. He also happened to be in Marcus's playgroup
- 1:26:54Speaker 4: because he's down from Florida and had practiced, so I
- 1:26:57Speaker 4: would argue that having run draft before there is an advantage.
- 1:27:01Speaker 4: But super fun, enjoyable. We had a little bit of
- 1:27:05Speaker 4: a mix up with where one of the pods, one
- 1:27:08Speaker 4: of the groups of three cards ended up at the end,
- 1:27:11Speaker 4: so I know on our way home we were talking
- 1:27:13Speaker 4: about different variants because I think that opening a pod
- 1:27:16Speaker 4: and having like for the most part, there's three good cards.
- 1:27:20Speaker 4: But if you have three really good cards twelve plus
- 1:27:24Speaker 4: cards or in DM three six cards or three five
- 1:27:28Speaker 4: cards versus going ahead and having some variance there where
- 1:27:32Speaker 4: it's a little bit less. Was a little bit of
- 1:27:35Speaker 4: an issue, but outside of that, it still was really
- 1:27:37Speaker 4: really enjoyable. I would play it again. I thought that
- 1:27:42Speaker 4: there's definitely some advantage from having drafted previously. But I
- 1:27:46Speaker 4: enjoyed it. I had fun. The games did not seem
- 1:27:51Speaker 4: super close. First two games were complete blowouts, and then
- 1:27:54Speaker 4: the third game actually was a blowout against me for
- 1:27:58Speaker 4: Smell just absolutely destroyed me. So enjoyable, playable. I had
- 1:28:03Speaker 4: fun with it. I went for something. I tried it.
- 1:28:05Speaker 4: It was a different way to play Keyforde.
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I I will give Draft two thumbs up. I
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: really really really enjoyed Draft, and for me it was
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: kind of the highlight of the weekend. It did for
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: me at least rival team Events. I'm not saying I
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: wouldn't like to see team Events come back, because I
- 1:28:27Speaker 2: really really, really really would so if we could ever
- 1:28:30Speaker 2: bring those back, that'd be great. But Draft was phenomenal,
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: Like I thought, again, Marcus put a lot of time
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: and a lot of effort into this a little clunky,
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: but overall a lot of fun placing pips, going through
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: and finding like a lot of that stuff. Like finally, like,
- 1:28:50Speaker 2: oh shit, I made a mistake. I didn't want to
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: put that.
- 1:28:54Speaker 4: I did, okay in that manner. How many house pips
- 1:28:58Speaker 4: were in all of your pods that you have no idea?
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: Devin was on my right so round one.
- 1:29:06Speaker 4: An did you see did you see any?
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: Pete? Sorry, that's yes, No, I think I heard of
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: one in our entire pod.
- 1:29:20Speaker 4: Because yeah, Pete, you and I were in the pod.
- 1:29:23Speaker 4: There was one Chevelle which had the double shadows pips.
- 1:29:28Speaker 4: We did not see it. Outside of that. I actually
- 1:29:31Speaker 4: ran a deck with no pips at all. There were
- 1:29:35Speaker 4: no no, no, there were no help there were no
- 1:29:39Speaker 4: pips all. I actually I actually drafted imperfect who one
- 1:29:45Speaker 4: also had a deck with no enhanced pips. I went
- 1:29:48Speaker 4: for value off of the cards. There were two cards
- 1:29:51Speaker 4: that I drafted which had amber and then the plus
- 1:29:54Speaker 4: one counters or the damage pips from Mars. But it
- 1:29:57Speaker 4: just wasn't strong enough. It didn't really matter and it
- 1:30:01Speaker 4: would not have mattered in the final final bet. In
- 1:30:05Speaker 4: my opinion, I think for d M, I think that
- 1:30:08Speaker 4: capture and like Geistoid and Skybourne seem really powerful. And
- 1:30:15Speaker 4: then shadows with the steel those three we ended up.
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: There were old well who said they had not the
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: direction I went at all.
- 1:30:25Speaker 4: Well, I'm saying that, yeah, for us, there were six
- 1:30:28Speaker 4: people who said they picked shadows, and so somehow we
- 1:30:31Speaker 4: ended up with seven pods of shadows. So people were
- 1:30:34Speaker 4: confused by that. But outside of that, it was still
- 1:30:37Speaker 4: a very, very enjoyable experience. But we saw a lot
- 1:30:39Speaker 4: of shadows, so there was a lot of steel and
- 1:30:42Speaker 4: Geistoid sending Amber over from capture to get rid of
- 1:30:46Speaker 4: it right away is powerful.
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: Yeah, it was my favorite part. Yeah, being able to
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: play story you want it, yep.
- 1:30:54Speaker 4: Yeah, if you never see if you never see cards
- 1:30:58Speaker 4: that have pips, it just doesn't matter.
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: Well, I mean, as I I had Hobo to my right,
- 1:31:05Speaker 2: so I never saw pips the first time round. I
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: know he opened up his pack. One was two old switcherouse.
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: And a.
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: I'm drawing a blank out of ideas. So and that
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: was the only switcher Ruse. I guess that were in
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: the hole the whole all of them, because I never
- 1:31:31Speaker 2: I never saw another one played against me or got one.
- 1:31:35Speaker 2: Uh and my my pack two was triple open the
- 1:31:38Speaker 2: seals and I grabbed them all. I was like, these
- 1:31:41Speaker 2: aren't these aren't going anywhere?
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: What? Yeah?
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: I had three because three discard pips a piece. So
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: I ended up screwing up and losing place because you
- 1:31:54Speaker 2: are drafting a lot of cards. Who got the big fish?
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: Oh, I don't know. I didn't take it.
- 1:32:01Speaker 4: Someone who couldn't play.
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: Like I'm hate drafting.
- 1:32:07Speaker 2: Two of the people that I talked to were like,
- 1:32:09Speaker 2: I'm hate drafting shadows, and I'm like, great, That's why
- 1:32:11Speaker 2: I saw notion because that's how I started out. But then,
- 1:32:14Speaker 2: like I had so many cards in my pile, I
- 1:32:16Speaker 2: lost track at.
- 1:32:16Speaker 5: A certain point.
- 1:32:18Speaker 2: So I ended up having three what did he call them,
- 1:32:20Speaker 2: oogie boogie cards or boo boo card booboo the clown cards.
- 1:32:23Speaker 2: I don't remembers cards.
- 1:32:29Speaker 5: Come call them wookies.
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:32:32Speaker 2: I feel like I missed opportunity there, right, but hey,
- 1:32:35Speaker 2: you know whatever, Like, but it didn't matter because I
- 1:32:38Speaker 2: had nine discard pips. My third house was Oberos. I
- 1:32:43Speaker 2: never played Obarros. I had was draw cards and discard cards.
- 1:32:51Speaker 4: I just leaned into three blank checks. So blank check
- 1:32:54Speaker 4: has an amber shadows action. Each player shuffles their archives
- 1:32:58Speaker 4: and discard, pile into their discard the top five cards
- 1:33:01Speaker 4: of your opponent's deck, play the top card of their deck.
- 1:33:03Speaker 2: Guys, I don't think I dropped a creature until we
- 1:33:07Speaker 2: were down to the nitty, until it was all that
- 1:33:09Speaker 2: was left. If it, if it had an ember pip
- 1:33:12Speaker 2: on it, it was in the house I was playing.
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: I took it.
- 1:33:19Speaker 2: Both of me and Devin's like, we'll play creatures eventually.
- 1:33:23Speaker 2: I'm not taking any if I don't have to. So yeah,
- 1:33:28Speaker 2: it was neither of you guys won. So no, we didn't,
- 1:33:33Speaker 2: but weird strategy. The guy that did also had the
- 1:33:35Speaker 2: same strategy we did. So you guys ready for some
- 1:33:41Speaker 2: cool information before we wrap it up. I was just
- 1:33:43Speaker 2: checking the ac email here.
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:33:46Speaker 4: Yes. Outside of that, I would say that we did
- 1:33:49Speaker 4: go out Saturday night, so we went to Crack Fox
- 1:33:51Speaker 4: and Hair of the Dog. So we got to play
- 1:33:53Speaker 4: some some bags where apparently not everyone knew who how
- 1:33:58Speaker 4: to play bags or had played bags before, so that
- 1:34:00Speaker 4: was fun. Yeah, we got to hear some karaoke, even
- 1:34:05Speaker 4: though Wookie did not go ahead and come through for us, and.
- 1:34:07Speaker 2: Soon I was so tired, and I'm like, I am
- 1:34:09Speaker 2: not waiting all the woe.
- 1:34:12Speaker 4: I pulled this sheep, I'll do karaoke.
- 1:34:14Speaker 2: No, well, I was not waiting twenty people. That was
- 1:34:17Speaker 2: not happening.
- 1:34:18Speaker 4: Yeah, that was true. We would have been there till time.
- 1:34:20Speaker 2: I was like, I'm fucking seepee uh please thank me
- 1:34:24Speaker 2: to a bed now, and then ended up because everyone
- 1:34:28Speaker 2: was in the place I was sleeping. I ended up
- 1:34:30Speaker 2: staying up for another two hours anyway, so it really
- 1:34:31Speaker 2: didn't matter. But fun fact we are. We are ranked
- 1:34:38Speaker 2: in Spreaker in a few categories, and I found this
- 1:34:42Speaker 2: kind of interesting. So you guys ready for this, all right?
- 1:34:47Speaker 2: So in the position of leisure, we are ranked number
- 1:34:51Speaker 2: one in Peru. We're huge in Peru, guys, Yes, Peru.
- 1:34:56Speaker 2: And in leisure we are ranked number forty one in
- 1:34:59Speaker 2: the Philippines. Cool stuff, all right, cool stuff. I thought
- 1:35:05Speaker 2: it was cool. In the in the category of games, again,
- 1:35:11Speaker 2: ranked number one in Peru. Somebody's just got us on
- 1:35:14Speaker 2: repeat in Peru, number six in the Philippines, number eighty
- 1:35:20Speaker 2: one in Sweden, number ninety two in Denmark, number one
- 1:35:26Speaker 2: o three in the Netherlands. Boys, we're gonna need you
- 1:35:29Speaker 2: to rank that up. Yeah, one O seven in France,
- 1:35:33Speaker 2: one thirteen in Spain and one twenty nine in Ukraine.
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: Sounds like we're the real Nordic Nordic podcast.
- 1:35:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm just saying that we got Lord Judo and
- 1:35:48Speaker 2: another Netherlands. I know they don't they need to start
- 1:35:52Speaker 2: cole and yeah, one O three we can get that up.
- 1:35:56Speaker 2: So that was fun. And then Gale, our our itty
- 1:36:01Speaker 2: bitty little show is ranked that high in some of
- 1:36:04Speaker 2: these countries. So, and in games and leisure of all things,
- 1:36:07Speaker 2: which are pretty competitive categories. Loves both those things, games
- 1:36:14Speaker 2: and leisure.
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: I do too. Weird story favorite, they're my favorite.
- 1:36:20Speaker 2: They're my favorite too, But anything else we got to say,
- 1:36:25Speaker 2: uh boys to team move hardcasts, Kyley.
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: I want to drop one controversial thing right real quick though,
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: with the the late notice on the ublier, I hope
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: they always have a format that only gets announced like five,
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: four or three days ahead of the vaults. To me
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: that that was wonderful. It didn't work out because apparently
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: still people had time to gather. They're really competitive decks
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: and I didn't do well. But I like that there
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: should be one day where they just announced at the
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: last minute. That's my opinion. There should be a subpoint outside. Well,
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: not like same day surprise, but like before you get
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: on your flight surprise. Oh so it's it's for it's
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: for the people that hang out of the piles.
- 1:37:09Speaker 2: For like whatever you got, just like rolling around in.
- 1:37:12Speaker 5: Your actually the organized yeah, yeah, you could find something
- 1:37:17Speaker 5: in it.
- 1:37:19Speaker 4: True true story. I could not find one of my
- 1:37:22Speaker 4: Ubiliot amber Sky's decks. And I literally I have everything
- 1:37:27Speaker 4: organized by set alphabetical order. I went through the decks
- 1:37:32Speaker 4: that were still in my pile from stores and I'm like,
- 1:37:36Speaker 4: where is this deck?
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: And I could not Is it in my basement?
- 1:37:41Speaker 4: No? No, because typically my decks do not go to
- 1:37:45Speaker 4: you like everyone else. This deck was a store named
- 1:37:50Speaker 4: deck and it was in the box that I had
- 1:37:53Speaker 4: put over on the side. You know how they have
- 1:37:56Speaker 4: some uh store name decks. That's where it was nice
- 1:38:00Speaker 4: and that's why I could not find it. And I
- 1:38:01Speaker 4: woke up in the middle of the I and go, aha,
- 1:38:03Speaker 4: I know where this deck is.
- 1:38:05Speaker 2: Seven hours a.
- 1:38:08Speaker 4: Reason not to go ahead and sort it anywhere else.
- 1:38:11Speaker 4: Just put it in the pile with the box and
- 1:38:13Speaker 4: I would have been smart. I lost.
- 1:38:15Speaker 2: Oh it was fun though, I don't know if I
- 1:38:17Speaker 2: want to do a thing with should we do a
- 1:38:21Speaker 2: partnership with Doctor Squatch?
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: I don't know. That's a big one that makes soap.
- 1:38:28Speaker 4: We did get to go ahead and actually showcase our
- 1:38:32Speaker 4: new sponsors.
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well the rest of you.
- 1:38:37Speaker 4: But I also got to showcase it in the top
- 1:38:40Speaker 4: eight sealed as I got my pitcher, So there you
- 1:38:43Speaker 4: go for it. It was amazing from a lord.
- 1:38:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I gotta get I gotta get the new draft
- 1:38:48Speaker 2: score logo roll in here and short shortly so we
- 1:38:50Speaker 2: can put that on there too. One of these days
- 1:38:53Speaker 2: I'll get my life together, probably not today. But any
- 1:38:58Speaker 2: other thoughts that we have from the event, I mean,
- 1:39:01Speaker 2: I thought it was it was well put together. I
- 1:39:04Speaker 2: thought all the event, all the side events were were
- 1:39:06Speaker 2: done well and we didn't really have any snaffoos. Tangent
- 1:39:12Speaker 2: time was off the charts, ah, anything else that I messed.
- 1:39:19Speaker 1: To blame.
- 1:39:20Speaker 8: The biggest thing for the side events is they got
- 1:39:23Speaker 8: to push that list out more than a week before
- 1:39:25Speaker 8: the event, two or three weeks in minimum.
- 1:39:29Speaker 7: We had two weeks for Portland. I think that's sufficient.
- 1:39:33Speaker 7: What we had for for Saint Louis was was not enough.
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: So five days.
- 1:39:38Speaker 8: I know, I know that there was some something is
- 1:39:41Speaker 8: going on behind the scenes with uncertainty of if they
- 1:39:45Speaker 8: could run draft, and they didn't want to push a
- 1:39:47Speaker 8: list if they weren't certain they could actually run all
- 1:39:49Speaker 8: three events they said they were going to run.
- 1:39:51Speaker 7: I appreciate that, but they still need to get the
- 1:39:55Speaker 7: list out there soon.
- 1:39:56Speaker 2: I would agree have something. I mean, even if you
- 1:39:59Speaker 2: can't do draft, like.
- 1:40:01Speaker 8: If you if you can't commit to every single day, see,
- 1:40:04Speaker 8: this is at least what we're doing on Friday, second.
- 1:40:07Speaker 2: Two of the three days. Yeah, because those those would
- 1:40:11Speaker 2: have had to have been known well beforehand. I would assume.
- 1:40:15Speaker 4: I was pleasantly this.
- 1:40:18Speaker 5: Judging.
- 1:40:19Speaker 2: Oh yeah, there he was judging. He gave us the.
- 1:40:23Speaker 5: Perfect sink soft warnings.
- 1:40:28Speaker 1: Yeah I was soft warning.
- 1:40:30Speaker 5: Don't be too soft, dead sink nail those guys who
- 1:40:33Speaker 5: need it.
- 1:40:39Speaker 2: I never got to complain about his tokens. I don't
- 1:40:41Speaker 2: know if anybody else did either, clearly not.
- 1:40:44Speaker 5: The first game was streamed and the opponent asked for them.
- 1:40:49Speaker 5: They asked for him not to use his tokens already comply.
- 1:40:54Speaker 2: He never had to. I know, it was just he
- 1:40:59Speaker 2: never had to. He played Memrocks and we are Mars
- 1:41:02Speaker 2: like turned two and that just never laughed at.
- 1:41:07Speaker 4: Draw better.
- 1:41:08Speaker 2: The game was over in six minutes. I was told,
- 1:41:13Speaker 2: So some days you're the hammer, some days you're the nail.
- 1:41:16Speaker 2: But with that being said, we had a great time
- 1:41:18Speaker 2: at Saint Louis. Hopefully you guys get out to Baltimore.
- 1:41:22Speaker 2: I know I'm thinking about it now. Yeah, anything else,
- 1:41:30Speaker 2: No drats on fathomball taking two different events. Well, these
- 1:41:35Speaker 2: our team move our guest.
- 1:41:36Speaker 3: Thank you. I had lots of luck on my side.
- 1:41:40Speaker 4: I was so close to that luck and it just
- 1:41:42Speaker 4: did not rub off. I need to snuggle you more.
- 1:41:48Speaker 1: You gotta snuggle harder. And yeah, it must.
- 1:41:52Speaker 4: Have been those birds that were keeping us up that
- 1:41:54Speaker 4: first night, man, Yeah for real. And we still say
- 1:41:57Speaker 4: you were supposed to be with the Wookie snores or
- 1:42:00Speaker 4: and you did not have that. I think that would
- 1:42:02Speaker 4: have had an impact.
- 1:42:03Speaker 3: So I definitely think it would.
- 1:42:07Speaker 2: I didn't even sleep in the same room.
- 1:42:10Speaker 3: Yeah, I know you were downstairs.
- 1:42:12Speaker 1: I was on a couch.
- 1:42:14Speaker 4: I woke up in the middle of the night and
- 1:42:15Speaker 4: could still hear you snoring from all the way down
- 1:42:18Speaker 4: the side.
- 1:42:18Speaker 2: I think you guys are full of ship because people
- 1:42:22Speaker 2: heard me.
- 1:42:23Speaker 1: Were you. I was eating a pizza and I looked
- 1:42:32Speaker 1: up and you were on one couch. I looked up again,
- 1:42:34Speaker 1: You're on another couch. You don't sleep.
- 1:42:36Speaker 2: You were downstairs where you were?
- 1:42:40Speaker 4: You know where he sleeps keeps when we get in
- 1:42:43Speaker 4: the car. As soon as we're in the car, I'm
- 1:42:45Speaker 4: going to sit in the front while I just have
- 1:42:47Speaker 4: Pete and Wookie in my car. And then second.
- 1:42:52Speaker 2: I thought, I thought I was doing really good, and
- 1:42:55Speaker 2: then it just happened and I was like, oh, well, yeah, No,
- 1:42:57Speaker 2: I don't sleep. I don't sleep any where.
- 1:43:02Speaker 1: Ever.
- 1:43:02Speaker 4: Brother one day, putting you on the roof.
- 1:43:06Speaker 2: Put me, put me on a rope. As long as
- 1:43:08Speaker 2: you get one of those like hard cases that locks
- 1:43:11Speaker 2: down to bed. Yeah, I agree with that being said,
- 1:43:15Speaker 2: it is time to go to Boddy.
- 1:43:17Speaker 6: Bye.
- 1:43:19Speaker 2: Thank you all for listening. We will see you wall
- 1:43:22Speaker 2: next week.
- 1:43:25Speaker 4: May the Forge be with you.
- 1:43:28Speaker 3: Forging everyone?
- 1:43:32Speaker 2: What what what does what does dress course say?
- 1:43:38Speaker 1: Fortune? Everyone? I've been fortuned everyone? Bye? Bye?
- 1:43:44Speaker 4: Something you.
- 1:43:47Speaker 7: Something?
- 1:43:51Speaker 8: Yeah, and there's something new.
- 1:44:04Speaker 3: There's something you girls not one
- 1:44:12Speaker 6: Not
