- 0:35Speaker 3: A woman decides to start running to get healthier. On
- 0:40Speaker 3: her first day, she sets out with all the gear,
- 0:45Speaker 3: fancy shoes, a smart watch, and a playlist of her
- 0:49Speaker 3: hype songs. She jogs for exactly thirty seconds before stopping
- 0:55Speaker 3: completely out of breath. The next day, she tries again.
- 1:00Speaker 3: This time, she makes it one full minute before collapsing
- 1:05Speaker 3: dramatically on the couch. On day three, she's determined to
- 1:10Speaker 3: push further. She starts jogging and suddenly trips on a
- 1:14Speaker 3: crack in the sidewalk, face planting in front of a
- 1:17Speaker 3: group of curious onlookers. Embarrassed, she gets up, brushes herself off,
- 1:25Speaker 3: and mutters, well, at least I'm consistent. Welcome to this
- 1:35Speaker 3: week's episode of Positively three point sixty five, your source
- 1:40Speaker 3: of encouragement and enlightenment. I'm your host, Joe Wattis, and
- 1:46Speaker 3: today we're talking about something that doesn't always get the
- 1:50Speaker 3: spotlight it deserves, resilience. Resilience is that quiet strength that
- 1:58Speaker 3: helps us get back up when we fail. It's about
- 2:04Speaker 3: being imperfect, about knowing our limitations but not letting that
- 2:10Speaker 3: stop us. It's about being able to get up, recognizing
- 2:17Speaker 3: that we're not invincible, we're not perfect. It's about being human,
- 2:23Speaker 3: and it's about the courage to keep going. But before
- 2:27Speaker 3: we get into all that, let's dive into this week's
- 2:31Speaker 3: trivia question. Are you ready for it? Here it is
- 2:36Speaker 3: which famous author said, do not judge me by my success,
- 2:42Speaker 3: judge me by how many times I fell down and
- 2:45Speaker 3: got back up. We will have the answer when we
- 2:49Speaker 3: come back. Hey, they're amazing listeners. Are you looking for
- 2:59Speaker 3: your next great read? Dive into the world of captivating books. Hi,

- 4:23Speaker 3: listening and happy reading. Welcome back. Do you know the
- 4:34Speaker 3: answer to this week's trivia question? The question was which
- 4:39Speaker 3: famous author once said, do not judge me by my success,
- 4:45Speaker 3: judge me by how many times I fell down and
- 4:49Speaker 3: got back up. The answer Nelson Mandela. Mandela's life was
- 4:56Speaker 3: defined by incredible hardships, seven years in prison, political oppression,
- 5:03Speaker 3: personal sacrifice, Yet his resilience was what allowed him to
- 5:10Speaker 3: not only survive, but to lead a nation toward hope
- 5:14Speaker 3: and reconciliation. His quote reminds us that success isn't a
- 5:19Speaker 3: straight line. It's a journey marked by persistence. Now you know,
- 5:32Speaker 3: so what is resilience. It's more than just bouncing back.
- 5:40Speaker 3: It's growing through the challenges. It's learning from setbacks instead
- 5:47Speaker 3: of letting them define you. It's holding onto hope even
- 5:51Speaker 3: when the road ahead seems unclear. Resilience doesn't mean never
- 5:58Speaker 3: feeling pain or doubt. It means feeling those things and
- 6:03Speaker 3: still choosing to move forward. Studies show that resilient people
- 6:09Speaker 3: have better mental health, stronger relationships, and greater life satisfaction.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Why because resilience builds confidence and a sense of control.
- 6:21Speaker 3: And the good news resilience isn't fixed. It can be developed,
- 6:27Speaker 3: one small step, one kind word to yourself, one day
- 6:31Speaker 3: at a time. Let me close this week's episode with
- 6:48Speaker 3: this thought. The oak tree fought the wind and it
- 6:53Speaker 3: was broken. The willow tree bent when it needed to
- 6:59Speaker 3: and it survived when life storms come. It's not about
- 7:04Speaker 3: fighting harder, it's about bending without breaking. So if you're
- 7:10Speaker 3: struggling today, remember, resilience isn't about never falling down. It's
- 7:17Speaker 3: about getting up again and again and again with grace
- 7:23Speaker 3: and courage. You're stronger than you think. Thanks for listening
- 7:28Speaker 3: to Positively three sixty five, Keep bending, keep growing, and
- 7:34Speaker 3: as always, stay positive.
