- 0:00Speaker 1: Well, good afternoon, listeners. Thank you for coming on Lament
- 0:03Speaker 1: of Hope podcast. It's kind of crazy that we're already
- 0:06Speaker 1: in April and just, yeah, already so many interviews done
- 0:11Speaker 1: and just seeing, getting to hear so many different stories.
- 0:15Speaker 1: And recently we've been kind of talking to a lot
- 0:18Speaker 1: of different like survivalists and then talking to a dispatcher.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Defeat us like people.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Because we are monster. And we are really dangerous animals
- 0:34Speaker 2: on that world.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Is that what attracted you when you were doing, and
- 0:44Speaker 1: I want to wrap up soon to respect your time,
- 0:46Speaker 1: but attracted you to the story of Hamnet was Agnes
- 0:52Speaker 1: and her love of nature, her deep reverence for nature?
- 0:55Speaker 1: Because some of your photos, like you have this photo
- 0:58Speaker 1: of her giving birth in the woods. And it's very
- 1:01Speaker 1: visceral because you see the woods around her and she's
- 1:04Speaker 1: like just a little piece in this picture. And then
- 1:08Speaker 1: you have these very intimate moments and stills of the
- 1:11Speaker 1: film where it's not even the full person present, but
- 1:14Speaker 1: just like some action that is happening. And it's just
- 1:17Speaker 1: like quiet. But you had such the forest. You've had
- 1:22Speaker 1: such beautiful photos of the forest. Yeah. I wondered, is
- 1:27Speaker 1: that in part or the reason that attracted you so
- 1:30Speaker 1: much to doing the project of the stills for the film?
- 1:33Speaker 2: Yes, yes, yes, yes. Definitely, I felt it was really
- 1:39Speaker 2: interesting for me. And it was really interesting also that
- 1:44Speaker 2: when they prepared everything to set the film, They also
- 1:51Speaker 2: prepared this... Wait, I lost words. How it's called?
- 2:07Speaker 1: It's okay, I lose words too. It's fine.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Yeah, her burial. Her burial? Her burial?
- 2:16Speaker 1: Her burial? um herbs are you saying.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Herbs yeah yeah yeah oh how she
- 2:24Speaker 1: How she did like um apothecary work working with yeah
- 2:30Speaker 1: her mother did the book with the plants yes yes
- 2:34Speaker 1: yes yes yes mm-hmm
