- 0:00Different now. Yeah, they about to go crazy. Yo. If one
- 0:04of y'all could look it up real quick, just look up what they did,
- 0:08how they sold just now, because I know they just they just took
- 0:12them off. They about to take them off the market because they went private.
- 0:16The TKO company, the ones that bought WWE. I don't know if
- 0:20they company, right, all right, man, Yeah they went private.
- 0:27Said yeah, they somebody bought them and took like a private equity firm or
- 0:33something like that, and they're going to come off the market. And they
- 0:38and supposedly it'sa like twelve billion silver Lake. Oh that's a big firm.
- 0:44That's how much they sold for se well, it says going private and deal
- 0:51valued at thirteen billion. Thirteen billion, Bro, that's like they just they
- 0:58just acquired them to not saying that they're losing they're losing WWE at all or
- 1:03anything, because they probably still going to manage it and kind of keep the
- 1:07same infrastructure and everything. But dang bro to buy it and then to flip
- 1:11it like that already. Yeah, immedia flip Definitely. You think that attributes
- 1:17to list Man stepping out of the picture. I think it's like a mix
- 1:23of Vince McMahon leaving as far as like his outdated ideas and stuff, because
- 1:29he had been stifling the company for a lot of years with the old man
- 1:32stuff, you know what I mean? And you tell yeah, and him
- 1:36and him leaving new new blood coming up. Ari Manuel, he's a he's
- 1:42a crazy brain. Nick Con crazy brain. Nick Con was an agent for
- 1:46a lot of years, you know what I mean. Before he got involved
- 1:49with the WWE. He was I know he skipped Bayless's agent or he was
- 1:53or is still, but he was. I believe he was the Rocks agent
- 1:57before. Ari E. Manuel. But he's a big agent, uh,
- 2:02Nick Kahn. Ari Emanuel the Rock obviously the Rock just coming back and being
- 2:07involved. He's bringing a lot of eyes to the products, like the He's
- 2:12not like the holding shareholder, but he's on the Board's on the board.
- 2:16Yeah, So he definitely has some kind of stake in it, and he's
- 2:22on He's on the ww TV a lot right now, and a lot of
- 2:24people are kind of like anticipating when is he going to go back to Hollywood.
- 2:29But the thing that's kind of going on is like he got a lot
- 2:31of money probably tied up in the WWE thing and it's doing well and him
- 2:36being there is leading to better business and bigger numbers and stuff. So he's
- 2:39probably like, man, I'm gonna just stick around and see what happens here,
- 2:43you know, right. He always talked about how the wrestling thing is
- 2:46like there's nothing like it anyway, So he's probably loving that he's making bread
- 2:51now, you know what I'm saying, Like on a big level. But
- 2:53he also said like he's able to expand the Rocks persona to a level he
- 3:00always wanted to and they never allowed him to when he was really in that
- 3:05point in his career, and I think that's why he left. And now
- 3:07that he's back and he can do what he wants now this new this new
- 3:12Rock persona, the Heel Rock, the Master. Yeah, he's going crazy.
- 3:15He's going crazy. WrestleMania is going to be crazy. I want to
- 3:19watch it for sure. Now. Yeah. It's like I said, I
- 3:23feel like it's a big thing of Vince McMahon just stifling creative ideas there,
- 3:28and the creative pretty much drives the business when it comes to wrestling, because
- 3:31the main thing about wrestling as a wrestling fan is you don't like to be
- 3:37associated with it when it's corny, you know what I mean, Because there's
- 3:39a lot of times where wrestling is just cringey, like you can't show it
- 3:44to anybody, You can't bring your friends around and put wrestling on because it
- 3:47just comes off so corny that even you as a fan, you don't even
- 3:52want to watch it like that, you know what I mean. So they're
- 3:54kind of bringing back like that factor of like, Okay, we're going to
- 3:58pay attention to what we're doing when story wise, so people are actually invested
- 4:01and actually feel like this is a dope thing going on once you suspend your
- 4:05disbelief and kind of enter the wrestling world, you know what I mean.
- 4:10Yeah, And wrestling has seasons, and like people, you know, when
- 4:13you watch a TV show and they drag his story out for more than a
- 4:15few seasons. Because I remember the whole Roman Rings rain, the fans hated
- 4:20it. He's been like the longest running tenuere champion main character in wrestling forever,
- 4:27and I was waiting for it. And now like you got Koree Rhodes
- 4:30coming in, and I think the Rockets is holding Rains there longer. But
- 4:34I see, I see why I like the whole blood long story they got
- 4:36going on, like it's good. It's good, Like it feels like the
- 4:41attitude they are all over again coming back. It's the closest to it,
- 4:46for sure. Yeah, for sure. They're like cussing again. You know,
- 4:49they're actually like bleeding, you know, the wrestlers are getting all bloody
- 4:54and stuff. This is a man wrestling, you know, it should have
- 4:59a certain kind of vibe, you know what I mean, And it was
- 5:00missing it for a long time. So it's dope to see it's like coming
- 5:03back around and actually attracting people to watch it and actually talk about it in
- 5:09a way where they're not embarrassed about it. Yeah, I agree, yo,
- 5:14Man. Something that's been coming up on my timeline a lot is these
- 5:17white rappers rapping ad fast, talking about how many words they know, and
- 5:24it's the same flow, the same like breakdowns in the flow, and they're
- 5:30always talking about how they're such great rappers. Dog who actually listens to this
- 5:38stuff? Bro? White rappers like a dog? It's so funny like and
- 5:46ironic that you're that. That's how you really know you're just missing the essence
- 5:49of what hip hop is when you're just getting on the track explaining to me
- 5:55why you're a dope rapper. Like if you're doing that, you already lost
- 6:00bro facts. Yeah, it's it's actually really annoying to be honest with you.
- 6:05Don't get me wrong, Like I get the talent in being able to
- 6:11like rap fast, but like actually rap about something like don't rap fast,
- 6:15about how you can rap fast and rap good, and like you know what
- 6:18I'm saying, because that's it's it's really counter productive. You're not really rapping
- 6:23feeling and I be feeling and I be willing and killing bro yeah, every
- 6:30individual, and they're always telling you how bad the other rappers are. It's
- 6:39it's it's just such a like predictable formula and just a repetitive sound. And
- 6:44it's so hilarious to me because I always feel like this happens a lot also
- 6:47with like the rappers that feel like they're like of the culture rappers, you
- 6:53know what I mean. Like there's a certain kind of rapper that hangs out
- 6:57in a certain scene and holds a certain sense of like where it's like they're
- 7:02almost dedicated to being whack, you know what I mean. It's like they
- 7:06want to make sure that people will not listen to their music no matter what,
- 7:12you know what I mean. They're always doing things to make you not
- 7:15want to listen, and they want to defend it from the point of view
- 7:17of now we're staying true to hip hop. Like dog, I listen to
- 7:21hip hop from the eighties now and it sounds way better than what they're trying
- 7:27to pass off as rap right now. You know what I'm saying. It
- 7:30don't got nothing to do with me not understanding or you preserving the culture or
- 7:35whatever that case is. It got all to do with this shit is whack.
- 7:43The raps changed, man, for sure. And that's the thing too,
- 7:47It's like you can't. It's like they want to cultivate the whack part
- 7:53slash, like their interpretation of what they think rap really should be. But
- 7:59it's like, nah, bro, that's that's not what he was doing,
- 8:01man, that's not what was going on. Like TikTok rap now, even
- 8:05like what you consider rap now, you you will find those pockets of the
- 8:09people that's doing it with a new sound but rapping the right way, you
- 8:13know what I mean. Like one of those that comes to mind, you
- 8:18know, and he's kind of like a little more season now becredy you know
- 8:22what I'm saying. The way was and like how he's putting his verses together
- 8:26and stuff. He's in that lane of like the new artists and and those
- 8:31kind of sounds. But when you listen to him, you're like, oh
- 8:35no, he's saying something different, you know what I mean, Like you
- 8:37could do it without sacrificing the likability of the music, you know what I
- 8:41mean? Right right exactly. That's that's the reason, like I don't enjoy
- 8:48it, like with the hip hop beefs that go on, Like I don't
- 8:52I feel the beef. It's more outside of just rapping and doing it crazy
- 8:56ass. This track now, it's all about the show and the the performance
- 9:01of it is, Like, it's not just about rapping anymore. Bro.
- 9:05That's why I love that Kendrick verse dog like that because he was just spitting
- 9:09his ass off. It was just straight up on Wax, I'm calling you
- 9:15out like this on Wax, I'm a better rapper? What's up? You
- 9:18know what I mean? It was no direct direct hits exactly and layered layered
- 9:28lyrics and just Bro just executed to the t to the t. And that's
- 9:33people enjoy that, Brod, I'm not gonna lie. I have not heard
- 9:39a song from that album. I just put that on repeat. I haven't
- 9:45even took the time to listen to the album. Literally, that's like my
- 9:48go to listen to first song when I get in the car, you know
- 9:52what I mean? Because this man and that's kind of what I'm saying,
- 9:56bro like he was. It was a disc But honestly, if you don't
- 10:01even know what's going on, or you're not really tapped in a rap like
- 10:03that, you could just listen to it and think he's just talking to shit.
- 10:07Yeah, you know what I mean, because he's he's just basically just
- 10:11popping off. But us, you knowing the backstory, we know it's deliberate
- 10:16and like a direct shot, you know what I mean. The boys heard
- 10:18that song, heard the whole album, and then me and my other boy
- 10:22in the same chat. It's like three or three my boys, and he
- 10:26was like, oh, why did Camuit go so hard at Drake? And
- 10:30I was like j Cole too, and they're like what And I was like,
- 10:33didn't you hear the song? They're like yeah, And I had to
- 10:35send them the lyrics and send them the references are like, wow, we
- 10:37didnt even catch it. I was like, yeah, if you listen,
- 10:39you know exactly what he was talking about it now. He was just basically
- 10:43straight up saying, now all this conversation, there is no conversation, and
- 10:46just be on you. Yeah, and bro, it's it's kind of like
- 10:52I was saying with like the old school rappers and stuff, like he found
- 10:54a way to make something just dope. And it was at this but like
- 11:01like you was even saying, people wasn't even catching like certain parts of it.
- 11:03And like I said, if you don't know nothing that's going on,
- 11:07you don't even you won't even catch any of it. It'll all go over
- 11:09your head and you'll think he's just fitting, you know what I mean?
- 11:13Man, that really And I even hit up Quincy after I heard that because
- 11:18it just gave me like that feeling of like that hearing that song in that
- 11:22verse just gave me the feeling of like being in the studio collaborating, like
- 11:28coming up with some dope stuff that you know is dope, and just the
- 11:31energy like it made me. It made me like need that feeling, you
- 11:35know what I mean, Like it gave me that flashback like damn, bro
- 11:39being in the studio when you're just like in a pocket and then you know
- 11:43you're you're putting together a track and you just know like you're hitting it out
- 11:46the park. Dog Like that's just what that that track gives me, Like
- 11:50as far as the vibe goes, you know, Like also it's something that
- 11:56this tracks make me do. As I go back to the history other rappers
- 12:00and I'm like, all right, what is Jake Cole been saying? And
- 12:03one thing I noticed, Ja Cole has been saying a lot about Big step
- 12:07is in his music. Yeah, so I'm like, Damn has this has
- 12:11j Cole been saying about Kendrick for a while now? Yeah, there was
- 12:15an interview that, Man, it's a little vague, but I'm pretty sure
- 12:20it was Ja Cole a little while ago that he kind of alluded to him
- 12:24and Kendrick are always kind of like at each other, you know what I
- 12:28mean, just because that that friendly rivalry is always there, you know what
- 12:33I mean? And you know, J Cole has never been shy about talking
- 12:37about stuff in rap and if like same thing, like if you know the
- 12:41history, you know what he's talking about. Certain things like he's talking about
- 12:46certain rappers. You know that that false Prophet song, Like different versions were
- 12:50for different rappers, you know, And it's really dope, man, It's
- 12:56just really dope that right now, there's so many guys putting in that work,
- 13:01like as far as rap goes, and just like the crazy part of
- 13:05like lumping Future and all that, like he's such a different artist, but
- 13:09still on that level, you know what I mean, Like you don't look
- 13:13at him, you know, you think you're teaming up though, who Future
- 13:16in Kendri Metro and Kendrick Do you think that's a fair advantage? I mean,
- 13:20it was definitely a very deliberate we choose in sides thing, you know
- 13:26what I mean. Yeah, And it's that that I don't know, man,
- 13:31Like I'm not saying I'm for like any kind of like friction or anything
- 13:37like that, but I like that energy of like, Okay, you on
- 13:41that side, I stay on that side, you know what I mean,
- 13:43Like when you know what it is, like you don't got to fake the
- 13:45funk, you know, it's just it just is what it is. But
- 13:48I feel like that competitive spirit is listening hip hop right now, you know
- 13:52what I'm saying, Like that too, Like you know, we obviously,
- 13:56you know, minus all of the extra stuff that came with that. You
- 14:00know what I'm saying. Back in you know, the nineties, you know
- 14:01what I'm saying, Tupac Big and all that stuff. Like the competitive nature
- 14:07of hip hop always made people keep their pin sharp, you know what I'm
- 14:09saying. So like we always complain about like how people are lazy with the
- 14:16music, now you know what I mean? Like that competitiveness keeps people sharp.
- 14:20So I really like that aspect of it. I really hope that Cole
- 14:26Drake or somebody do something from what I saw Drake throwing tantris at the concerts.
- 14:30Man's that's what I'm saying. It's it's it should just be raped.
- 14:35Just rap, just rap, yeah, just rap. No, But you
- 14:37know what I saw a comparison, and I'm not sure it was. It's
- 14:39like hip hop today is compared to like boxing, And what hurts boxing so
- 14:45much is the people that are on top are so afraid of going at each
- 14:48other, so afraid to lose. It's so afraid to take that l that
- 14:52they just rather because if too, if you got two greats with no losses,
- 14:58someone's gonna take an l out of that they're so afraid to do.
- 15:00But that's what we need, that's what the people want. People want to
- 15:01see the best of the best go against each other, and I think you
- 15:05get more respect about going against someone who's as good as you, even if
- 15:09you take an elder like well, at least at least he went at them,
- 15:13you know. Yeah, I think it's also a little bit of Back
- 15:16in the day, there just wasn't as many spots either, Like hip hop
- 15:20was kind of like in a certain box and there was only a certain amount
- 15:24of that like crossing over, so they were literally competing for spots as a
- 15:28posts. And now like everybody got their own audience, everybody's eating, everybody's
- 15:33doing whatever they want to do, and they're not really like hindered by each
- 15:35other. So they're literally not competing, you know what I mean. Like
- 15:39I'm over here making my money, You over there making your money. So
- 15:43you know, what's the point. But it's dope When you got people like
- 15:46j Cole, you got people like Kendrick, you got people like Drake,
- 15:52All three of them, you know, think they're the best and they don't
- 15:54got a problem saying it. So that friction is always kind of there.
- 16:00Yeah, I definitely would like to see that a little bit more. For
- 16:03sure, Who's you can't but know that who's that dream of Fest Dream Dream
- 16:11bill Fest's going to be there? Yeah? For sure, he's always there.
- 16:15It's like performance since the tracks drop. Yeah, so I'm interested to
- 16:18see what happens if he said, if he mentions it, he better say
- 16:22something. Dang. Imagine he debuts a tractor, That's what I'm saying.
- 16:25I imagine he brings Drake out, dang, and they just do a double
- 16:30team disc like dance a huge this together. Yeah, that's gonna be dope.
- 16:38I'm actually hyped for that. Who's in that line of the Line's good?
- 16:42I haven't seen it. It's all right. It was better last year
- 16:45and the year before that. No, I missed last year and last year
- 16:49he actually did have Drake out there. I know. I know he might
- 16:56have him again the way you know what I'm saying, like the way they're
- 17:00really like choosing sides right now. We'll see if he's there because the way,
- 17:07uh, I think Drake is like doing shows and right now, so
- 17:11we'll see if it lines up. But I know, like the headliners are
- 17:15NICKI Minaj. It was Chris Brown, but I don't know what happened with
- 17:22that, But now it's fifty c j I D is going to be out
- 17:26there school boy Q litt yachty bro on seeing Chris Brown, that replacement is
- 17:33wild. Though, I know, you know, people are hot. People
- 17:37are hot. Personally, I am excited. How you're gonna replace Chris Brown
- 17:42with fifty Yeah? Bro, Like what is that they got the special?
- 17:51Yo? That's not even in the same at all. Yeah. People are
- 17:56hot, bro, people are hot. And then the thing is they dropped
- 18:00on April fool on April first, so people was like, yo, just
- 18:02a joke, like like for real, Like, dang, yeah, I'm
- 18:07a I'm a fifty cent fan dog, like a big fifty cent fan.
- 18:11But what a left turn, bro, Like they say Jack Queiz staying,
- 18:15say I'm Arion. You know what I'm saying. They say Sammy Nah,
- 18:21they said fifty cent dog dog what Yeah? Greenville Fest? Yeah, Bro,
- 18:27that's so random. Dog's Maceona said. Though me personally, but I'm
- 18:33ecstatic because because Robin actually had bought Take Secrets Brown. You hot? Oh
- 18:40that was me. There's mad females that is hot right now there's mad females.
- 18:44That's tight. But yeah, no I'm excited. I'm just how my
- 18:49wife will react. I we were, I was like, Yo, we
- 18:52about to see fifty I mean we about to see Chris Brown this weekend?
- 18:56My way, we about to go see Chris Brown is weekend And we pull
- 19:00up and it's like what we here? We can get the drummer popping,
- 19:07like what be? Like, what is going on here? Dog? Ain't
- 19:11no serenading an equivalent replacement? Yeah, I don't know what happened with that.
- 19:18Now that's crazy. But he's on tour right now, so I don't
- 19:22know. If the schedules didn't line up, what you know, what may
- 19:23have happened. But he was supposed to stop at Dreamville on his tour,
- 19:29so I don't know what happened. Yeah, I'm not gonna lie. They
- 19:32tried to do that to me. Chick fil A one time. I pulled
- 19:34up and I ordered check it out, now, check it out, check
- 19:37it out. I pulled up and I have ordered the troop right, check
- 19:44it out? Dog? I ordered you know the big soup there is like
- 19:47nine bucks. Bro. I'm already tight that my wife likes that soup off
- 19:52rip is dumb expensive bro nine dollars and then the size of it is like
- 19:57it's not even a big bro, like it's like a little soup. But
- 20:02anyway, so I ordered the soup pull up to pick it up. They're
- 20:06like, Yo, we're out of soup. Would you want to take a
- 20:08macaroni and cheese side talk? The macaroni and cheese size is like three dollars.
- 20:14I was like, Yo, that's not even almost like a fair comparison,
- 20:18you know what I mean, Like, just cancel my whole order.
- 20:19I'm not paying nine dollars for a macaroni and cheese side Like it just doesn't
- 20:23make any sense, like and she was like really thinking like this was gonna
- 20:27happen like no, Like she was like kind of like confused that I wanted
- 20:32to cancel it, Like, Yo, this is a six dollars difference in
- 20:34what you're trying to offer me as consolation, Like where do you think that
- 20:38I'm just going to accept that and just be on my merry way hit it
- 20:42with the now chief. I couldn't believe it. They tried me one time
- 20:48with that with a shake too, like that frozen lemonade thing. Man that
- 20:53thing is mad good. But that thing is like six bucks. Yeah,
- 20:57like, no way, you're crazy to give me an ice cream. It
- 21:00looked like taking eyes, get me ice cream ice cream two dollars with a
- 21:07small couple of lemonade for bro. I reply, I fucking report that shitber
- 21:14easy. If they don't get me ketchup, no, dead ass, I
- 21:15need, I need, I need some money back. Oh yeah yeah.
- 21:18I don't play around with the pizza delivery either, like crazy. Yeah.
- 21:22I always pay the tip in cash, like because I used to just leave
- 21:26the tip before, and I always put like twenty five to thirty percent depending
- 21:30on how much I'm ordering. But they would like just do stuff. That
- 21:34was like, bro, why am I get why I might give you bread?
- 21:38Like there's no way. The other day they came and dropped off some
- 21:41Dominoes and Buddy was like, Yo, my bad, I forgot to drink.
- 21:45If you still want it, just called a store. If I still
- 21:49want it, just called a store. No, who doesn't want to drink?
- 21:53Why would I order that, bitch? And what the store gonna do?
- 21:56So I called the store and he's like, I'm like, yo,
- 21:59the guy whatever whatever? I told him? What the guy told me.
- 22:03Buddy pulls up the receipt and he tried to get slick with me. He's
- 22:07like, sir, there's no soda on this receipt anyway, so why would
- 22:11you think we're bringing then, Like, as he was talking, he's seen
- 22:14it. He's, oh my bad, I sit here at the bottom.
- 22:15I wasn't the driving right away. I'm like, yeah, bitch, hung
- 22:18up the phone. Felt real GANGSTU about it. You gotta report that shit.
- 22:26I won't. Fucking yeah, I report everything because give me my discount.
- 22:30Yeah. We had talked about that recently in the chat too. Like
- 22:33what especially nowadays after COVID, Bro, if I'm spending the money to have
- 22:37the luxury of going out or whatever, Like, if I'm paying extra for
- 22:42something to be easier for me, It's not like before where it was like
- 22:47a couple bucks, you know what I mean, like twenty eighteen, you
- 22:49know, inconvenience feed was like two three bucks. Now that shit will add
- 22:52up to like fifteen bucks. You know what I'm saying, Like order something
- 22:56and all of a sudden you're paying close to twenty bucks and fees. You're
- 22:59like, what the hell, bro? I saw I saw somebody posted a
- 23:04sign in front of subway the other day, and just five years ago you
- 23:08can get a fight out of foot long And now the marketing six dollars six
- 23:12inches, b Like, get out of here, bro, get out of
- 23:17here, crazy man, that's Joe Biden. Bro, that's I think he's
- 23:26gonna get his canceled, right. We did, we did, bro.
- 23:36Employing Joe Biden has been looking like he'd be looking like me when I leave
- 23:41the fucking bars in the middle of the night, like yeah, you got
- 23:47what you gotta, I got it, I got Oh my god, we
- 23:52finally get a run on TikTok and Joe Goo's ham Im just saying this.
- 24:03I just didn't sleep. That's what my nickname should be. You know.
- 24:15It's crazy, though, man, how much everything has just gone up and
- 24:18and like we're just like chugging along like it's cool, you know what I
- 24:22mean, Like just from every angle in the last five years, it's just
- 24:26gotten like like things don't even make sense anymore. Bro. I think about
- 24:32like I gotta vote this here, like damn, I gotta make a decision
- 24:34and vote yes, wild bro. Man, you know the worst part about
- 24:41the economy is that, like in my living in it, yo, facts,
- 24:47Like it's that facts. But it's like I've never seen it turn around.
- 24:52It's always gotten worse, Like I've never seen it just say oh yeah,
- 24:56I know gas was high last year, but we're just gonna fix it
- 24:59this like it's always gotten worse, like you know what I mean. So
- 25:04I don't know, but it's such a weird thing. Cost the housing.
- 25:07Bro. I had a little reunion with a bunch of old friends from high
- 25:12school and back in the day, and I'm asking theory where I live,
- 25:17how much you cost to live there? Facts? Facts, what's in your
- 25:21area? Cause it's just crazy. There's no that we want to move to
- 25:26right now. Everything is just over the top for no reason. Man,
- 25:30It's why. And it's like it's just everything too because like even from like
- 25:33the business side, like I'll be dealing with the county for like permits and
- 25:37stuff, and bro, it's wild, like the stuff that they're requiring and
- 25:42asking for, it's like they don't even consider that, like we're like human
- 25:48beings, you know what I mean, Like where in your mind doesn't make
- 25:51sense that regular people are going to do these things that you're asking, you
- 25:55know what I mean? Like they make it so like they make it so
- 25:57you have to know something, You have to like have an end somewhere,
- 26:03you know what I mean, Because you just as like a normal person saying,
- 26:06let me go by the book and figure the south Dog. You will
- 26:08never see it, like you will get jerked around so much and you will
- 26:14pay the cost of just the ignorance of the situation is just so crazy,
- 26:18Bro, It's a fuck up situation. We're gonna keep chugging along, man,
- 26:26you know, it's crazy with you know, we were talking about Kendrick
- 26:30and j Coole and all that stuff. Like even with that, like that
- 26:33record, there's just a certain vibe like certain times in life and just as
- 26:38artists that you could just capture that in the song and people people want,
- 26:42Like I was one of those fans that I would hear certain artists and then
- 26:47I'll be like they'll drop something else and I'd be like, why you couldn't
- 26:51just do what you did the first time, like just a new version,
- 26:53you know what I mean. And that's something that shout out to my boy
- 26:59J Man because he described it perfectly, like with future future is like the
- 27:03iPhone, because like he's just gonna upgrade and give you the new model every
- 27:07year, you know what I mean. It's not gonna change much, but
- 27:11it's gonna be reliable and it's still gonna be your go to, you know
- 27:15what I mean. Like it's a rare thing of where future is like really
- 27:18just you know, giving you the same vibes but just updating it, you
- 27:22know, every time, and it's still just hitting. You know, not
- 27:26a lot of artists could do that. You can't really just recapture the vibe,
- 27:30like you know, even fifty cent Bro when he was coming out,
- 27:33but he just got shot, like he almost died, like he should have
- 27:37been dead. I don't know how many times, like he not. He
- 27:41not only had her survivor streets, but like then the industry turned on him.
- 27:44So then you got to deal with the politics of like just people's opinions
- 27:48and that all that bullshit. And he just ends up working with Doctor Dre
- 27:52and Eminem and just blows up and puts out the album. It's like,
- 27:56dog, how can you There's no way he could capture that feeling again,
- 28:00you know what I mean, Like he could come out with more dope music
- 28:03or whatever, but like nothing's ever gonna hit like that. Because that situation
- 28:07is just unrivalable, you know what I mean, Like you can't make that
- 28:11happen againts, you know, it's a crazy thing, like you know,
- 28:17Young Doll one hundred shots, like you know the and believe Me, Like
- 28:21those are if y'all don't mess with dog Bro one hundred shots and believe me,
- 28:25like those are two tracks like that he dropped after he got shot and
- 28:27like into some situations and stuff like bruh, crazy crazy, Like it's just
- 28:34you capture a certain vibe with music and not not even just like crazy street
- 28:38music like that, but like just any song, like even somebody, even
- 28:41people like Steely dan Bro, like they just caught like they're like a seventies
- 28:47and eighties rock group that they just caught the right vibe of people rights mixes
- 28:52of music styles and just created a whole sound that was like different and new
- 28:59but like also felt familiar at the same time. And they were just locking
- 29:03in with certain grooves that they just created a sound and a vibe with their
- 29:07with you know, their first album, the first two albums really but like
- 29:11they could just never do it because it's like how can you change music again,
- 29:15Like just off a whim. You know what I'm saying, you can't
- 29:18put yourself back in that same time and the same everything you were going through
- 29:23in that certain time exactly. Music is just so like capturing like the energy
- 29:30in the room even you know what I'm saying, It's hard to just do
- 29:34on a dime. You know what I'm saying, Like there's there's a demand
- 29:37now like as an artist to put out a lot of music. And just
- 29:42my opinion, bro, Like I just I know if I like artists that
- 29:48don't drop so much music, because you know, whenever you know, it's
- 29:52cool if you drop a lot of music, I'm gonna check it out if
- 29:53I like you. But I'm pretty much know in my head it's mostly gonna
- 29:59be whacked me and I'm gonna like, like maybe a couple of songs because
- 30:03you just can't. I just feel like you really just can't capture that magic,
- 30:06you know, fifty times a year and then it's just gonna hit you
- 30:10know what I mean, it just can't happen. Like to me, it's
- 30:12just not a thing where it's it's doable. You know. That's why people
- 30:17like Kanye Is is so valuable, you know, Drake Kendrick j Cole because
- 30:22they're you know, dropping new stuff but capturing the moment they're in in such
- 30:26a way that everything hits. And Jake Cole is one even like that.
- 30:30I always feel like if you're kind of too young, you can't even really
- 30:33appreciate it until you get a little older because of the way that he's rapping
- 30:37in the things he's talking about, like you literally like gotta go through you
- 30:41literally gotta go through it to feel it, you know. Mm hm No.
- 30:48The last Kanye album brought me back. It brought me back a lot,
- 30:52especially that back to Me song, Like that feeling that that song gives
- 30:56me is the old Kanye, the old uh just slapper tracks and feel good
- 31:02tracks and energy like you can't help yea but to just fucking feel good when
- 31:07you listen to that shit, Like and I'm not even a big fan of
- 31:11the words or what he's rapping about. It's just like it's a good feeling.
- 31:15The sound is so good man, Like I can't help but just have
- 31:18good energy the second I hear I could listen it over and over and over
- 31:22and over and I get tired of it. Like that kind of music is
- 31:26the kind of music that I wish every artist just put everything into and just
- 31:30can't putting out. But it takes a lot to make those kind of records,
- 31:33that's for sure. You just got to be in a good space.
- 31:36You could tell. And that's why I appreciate artists like uh, you know,
- 31:40Kanye, and you know all the artists you mentioned, because you can
- 31:42tell what kind of headspace they were in by the music that they put out,
- 31:48you know what I mean. Like and I think that that is very
- 31:52telling of an artist because you know, like you said before, lest you
- 31:56can't capture the same magic or the same moment, because as we live our
- 32:02lives, we are going to always have different moments and different things happen to
- 32:07us and experiences that create new new feelings and emotions. And as artists,
- 32:13we just are going to articulate different feelings. You know. Yeah, me,
- 32:17what kind of wind down with this? But like me and my wife
- 32:20was talking the other day just about how you know, just the excitement behind
- 32:27different phases in life, even just you know, you go through certain stages
- 32:32like me and her right now, we're going through the stage where we're like
- 32:36building our businesses up, you know what I mean? Like we're trying to
- 32:38like set ourselves up really good for the future and you know, to not
- 32:43be you know, old and trapped in a cycle that we don't want to
- 32:46be trapped in. So we're just trying to make those moves. And it's
- 32:51just thinking about knowing that those situations are going to change and then you're going
- 32:57to be in that next phase and then the phase after that, and it's
- 33:00just exciting to think about how you know, there's stuff to look forward to
- 33:05always, you know what I mean. Oh yeah, And I just thought
- 33:08it was something that I never honestly is something I never really thought about before
- 33:13until recently, you know what I mean, Like just looking forward to like
- 33:16stuff that's coming and you know the phases that are going to come with it.
- 33:22And it just was something that I wanted to talk about, just be
- 33:25from that aspect of like, man, it's dope to know, like there's
- 33:30just more life on the way and just more opportunity to do dope things.
- 33:35You know. Yeah, I always look at you know, current situations,
- 33:43like for example, with you and what you guys are doing right now is
- 33:45like the planning of the seeds, you know what I mean, And like
- 33:49I feel like you're right now at a place of sprouting, you know what
- 33:52I mean, and kind of seeing the light you know, at the end
- 33:54of the tunnel so always. I don't know, I just think that that's
- 33:58a great way to kind of look at it, you know what I mean.
- 34:00That's facts what you think, Joe, No, I think, And
- 34:06like you know, you mentioned the next days of life, and and one
- 34:10thing, uh that the passing of a good friend of mine taught me is
- 34:15like I plan all those seats so much, you know, getting here,
- 34:21preparing moving back, setting myself up like my job and for my health and
- 34:27getting my routine, and now I'm in it, and I'm like, I
- 34:30just want to enjoy it, man, I need to enjoy it. I
- 34:32need to enjoy where I'm at now and be present and stop thinking about the
- 34:37next thing for a while. You know. We had an amazing seven day
- 34:43cruise with the family, and we got a few more trips coming up,
- 34:47and like, I just I just need to enjoy ship for a while.
- 34:51Yeah, every everything set up, you know, this is the we are
- 34:55enjoying our crops. Everything has sprouted and now we enjoying it and there's no
- 35:00more that I need to seek out and look for and just ride this enjoyment
- 35:06out and be president, just be grateful and be happy for where I'm at,
- 35:09because I worked really fucking hard in the last year and a half to
- 35:13get where I'm at today, and I need to just chill and enjoy it
- 35:20and just enjoy it. I feel like it's a delicate balance and it's not
- 35:24an easy equation to figure out. But living in a moment while also taking
- 35:30the steps and planning for the future. It's kind of like that thing where
- 35:36constantly trying to figure out every day I feel like, you know what I
- 35:38mean, And it's just keeping those things in the forefront will always help you
- 35:44kind of just maintain their perspective on both sides of taking in the moment you're
- 35:47in and how life has grown for you and stuff. But at the same
- 35:52time, what am I doing for tomorrow? Yeah? I like that,
- 35:55Yeah, definitely my this is the plan for the rest of this year,
- 35:59and then next year twenty twenty five, is going to be back in business.
- 36:02All right, what we're doing, where we're going, what's the next
- 36:06move? But I decided for the rest of this year, I'm gon write
- 36:08it out, enjoy it, just enjoy what comes. What I got planned
- 36:13the time with people, improving myself. That is my plan for the rest
- 36:19of this year, for the next last three quarters of this year. Times
- 36:22Fly Yo, Times Flying Man. Yeah, facts man, it's already April.
- 36:27Time is fucking flying. Yeah man. We re opened the salon September
- 36:31of last year, so talking about we already like six months in crazy I
- 36:37remember talking about it. Yeah, that's crazy, oh man. But Yo,
- 36:43tonight is Call of Duty night and America cousin rebef Yes, sir,
- 36:52we're back. Hopefully there's some white rappers that get on so I could just
- 36:58hit it with machine gun fires. But yeah, man, stay butttered.
- 38:39Not not not not not not not not Every att
