- 1:26Speaker 2: Like the food store?
- 1:27Speaker 1: No, you'll be at where? The Punchline.
- 1:28Speaker 2: I'll be at the.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Punchline at Houston on Sunday and the House of Comedy
- 1:32Speaker 1: in Detroit Friday and Saturday. You guys will hear this
- 1:35Speaker 1: on Thursday?
- 1:35Speaker 2: Where are you going to be Thursday?
- 1:37Speaker 1: Well, here with you.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Oh, oh.
- 1:39Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:40Speaker 2: No, I thought you said you're on a date. Okay,
- 1:42Speaker 2: so this is all this weekend.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Friday and Saturday, House of Comedy in Detroit. And then
- 1:45Speaker 1: Houston Punchline Sunday night.
- 1:48Speaker 2: I saw some Juicy Scoopers talking about it. So it's
- 1:51Speaker 2: going to be a fun night with your blue-eyed beautiful boy.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come on out.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Now, tell me. What? I mean, I don't know what's next.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Move over, Rick Caruso. Are you running for mayor?
- 2:03Speaker 1: Well, it's funny because I'm not quite that mayor yet,
- 2:07Speaker 1: but I am now part of a neighborhood council. I'm
- 2:10Speaker 1: going to be I'm about to be a where you
- 2:13Speaker 1: have to vote for me.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Yes. I'm filling out the paperwork currently.
- 2:18Speaker 2: I am so impressed.
- 2:20Speaker 1: So, yeah.
- 2:21Speaker 2: And so you, it was about a streetlight that needed
- 2:24Speaker 2: to be replaced?
- 2:25Speaker 1: Streetlight in my neighborhood that had been out for quite
- 2:27Speaker 1: some time.
- 2:28Speaker 4: Okay.
- 2:28Speaker 1: And I got on the horn. I'm the Karen. No,
- 2:33Speaker 1: it's called a Ken. Ken. I'm a Ken.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Okay.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I'm a Ken.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Is it called a Ken or is it called something else?
- 2:39Speaker 2: What is the Karen version.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Of Ken Sounds Too Cool? I think it is a Ken.
- 2:42Speaker 1: I've heard Ken.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Okay, fine, Ken.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Anyway.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Yes.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I wanted to get the streetlight fixed. And I
- 2:47Speaker 1: don't know if you ever tried to do anything with
- 2:49Speaker 1: any type of, you know, government, whatever it's considered. I
- 2:53Speaker 1: give up. I give up. Oh, it is a nightmare
- 2:55Speaker 1: because you get people, I don't know, who just answer phones.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:59Speaker 1: And I guess it's whatever telephone pole, like the cement
- 3:03Speaker 1: poles are one person.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Right.
- 3:05Speaker 1: The aluminum poles are another person and the wood poles
- 3:09Speaker 1: are another person. So you have to find which one
- 3:13Speaker 1: does the wood poles. I'll say this.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Did Elon Musk figure it out?
- 3:16Speaker 1: I don't know. But yeah, I got it. DWP. They
- 3:25Speaker 1: were people of their word. I called them. I thought
- 3:28Speaker 1: it was going to be years in the making. I
- 3:30Speaker 1: was fully Karen-kenned up, ready to argue. And they were
- 3:34Speaker 1: out like two days later.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Does this get your wife kind of hot?
- 3:39Speaker 1: I've never seen my entire family more proud of anything.
- 3:43Speaker 1: We were taking pictures underneath the light. My daughter, myself,
- 3:47Speaker 1: we were dancing. The neighborhood must have been like, what
- 3:49Speaker 1: are these losers doing underneath the streetlight?
- 3:53Speaker 2: I think it's things like that that keep women continuing
- 3:58Speaker 2: to marry men.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Oh, yeah?
- 4:01Speaker 2: It's just getting some shit done around the house. Right.
- 4:05Speaker 2: I mean, so many times I've heard women go, the
- 4:07Speaker 2: only thing I miss about my ex-husband is that he
- 4:11Speaker 2: could fix some shit. I would think that would be
- 4:13Speaker 2: the one thing, though. a lot of dad qualities, which is,
- 4:18Speaker 2: you know, why it's nice to go on the road
- 4:20Speaker 2: with you.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Um, there's just, there's just certain things, you know, that
- 4:25Speaker 2: some guys are inherently born with.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:28Speaker 2: And it, it's, it's sometimes it's worth it to, to
- 4:32Speaker 2: go full blown trad wife and just get married.
- 4:36Speaker 1: It's sad now that I've become, I'm becoming more and
- 4:38Speaker 1: more just old dad. Just, it's really bad. Like I'm
- 4:42Speaker 1: involved in the school now and I'm, Fighting for like
- 4:46Speaker 1: better lunches. It's a real– I never thought I'd be
- 4:50Speaker 1: this guy.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Honestly, I'm glad all that time is over for me.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Yeah. I know.
- 4:55Speaker 2: I'm like it was just– oh, God. I tried so hard.
- 4:58Speaker 1: But now here's what I wanted to discuss with you.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Now you and Peter could be in the Gene Hackman
- 5:05Speaker 1: portion of your life.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Well, for those that don't know, Gene Hackman was a
- 5:09Speaker 2: very famous actor and he was married to his wife
- 5:12Speaker 2: for 30 years. However she was– 30 years younger than he.
- 5:16Speaker 2: They have been together.
- 5:17Speaker 1: She was 65.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Yeah, they've been together a very, very, very long time, though.
- 5:21Speaker 2: And when the news broke last week, it was confusing. First,
- 5:26Speaker 2: they thought it was carbon monoxide because they found them
- 5:29Speaker 2: both deceased along with one dog deceased. It was not.
- 5:33Speaker 2: So what have they now found?
- 5:36Speaker 1: They now believe that she had died first from, which
- 5:40Speaker 1: is strange, whatever you get from rat It's like a
- 5:44Speaker 1: hepa virus or something like that.
- 5:46Speaker 2: So she accidentally ate rat poisoning or she tried to
- 5:50Speaker 2: end her life?
- 5:51Speaker 1: No, no, no. Not rat poison. Rat like feces.
- 5:55Speaker 2: She accidentally ate rat feces?
- 5:57Speaker 1: No, I don't know if you have to eat it.
- 5:59Speaker 1: It's airborne. So they believe, what I had heard was
- 6:03Speaker 1: they believe that, not that there were rats in the
- 6:05Speaker 1: home because they had a very, it's a gigantic house
- 6:08Speaker 1: they had, I think in New Mexico.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Yeah, but you could have rats in any home.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Sure, right, right, right. Anyway, but they had a barn
- 6:14Speaker 1: and I guess she tended to the barn and they
- 6:17Speaker 1: believed that there might have been some rat feces in
- 6:19Speaker 1: the barn. She somehow inhaled the rat feces and got
- 6:23Speaker 1: this disease that you get from rat feces or rat
- 6:27Speaker 1: bites or rat something.
- 6:29Speaker 2: It sounds like they were just really quite isolated.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Anyway, he was apparently suffering from Alzheimer's pretty bad.
- 6:34Speaker 2: 95 years old.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah. And so she was dead for quite
- 6:38Speaker 1: some time. He didn't even know what they're saying. He
- 6:41Speaker 1: didn't even know she was dead.
- 6:43Speaker 2: And he probably didn't know how to call her.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Didn't know how to get out of the house. Didn't
- 6:46Speaker 1: call anybody. So apparently he was walking around the house
- 6:50Speaker 1: for a week, if not more. Then the door was open.
- 6:54Speaker 1: He was in the mudroom, almost out the door. So
- 6:58Speaker 1: he fell. And then I kind of just died on
- 7:00Speaker 1: the floor.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Did they ever find out why one dog died and
- 7:03Speaker 2: the others didn't?
- 7:03Speaker 1: It was in a cage.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Oh, so it couldn't get food or water.
- 7:06Speaker 4: Yeah, it was a cage.
- 7:06Speaker 2: And the other ones could like run around and get
- 7:08Speaker 2: some food.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Yeah, the other ones were running around.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Ugh, what a depressing story to start out juicy.
- 7:12Speaker 1: I know, I know. But I'm concerned that you guys
- 7:15Speaker 1: are now in that portion where it could be, you know,
- 7:18Speaker 1: because you start getting into larger homes, somebody gets rat poison.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Next thing you know, Peter's just wandering around the house
- 7:26Speaker 1: for a week.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Luckily, I have this podcast.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:32Speaker 2: And I think I've had to like cancel it once.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Right.
- 7:35Speaker 2: And I made an announcement so that people would not
- 7:38Speaker 2: do a welfare check.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Or arrest Peter. Okay. But if this does not show
- 7:47Speaker 2: up and there is no Instagram saying, I'm sick, my
- 7:51Speaker 2: flight got delayed, the show's going to be a day late, 100%.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Call everybody, call Chris, have people come to my house
- 8:01Speaker 2: and find me. Because that is not, I'm too much
- 8:04Speaker 2: of a thirst bucket to, I will never take a
- 8:07Speaker 2: social media break.
- 8:08Speaker 1: You're not going to be dead on the floor. You're
- 8:09Speaker 1: not going to mummify. Never. Because that's what happened to
- 8:12Speaker 1: both Gene Hackman and his wife. They were found mummified.
- 8:15Speaker 1: So that's a considerable amount of time you're dead when
- 8:18Speaker 1: you stop mummifying.
- 8:20Speaker 2: No, absolutely not. And we do a lot of Uber
- 8:23Speaker 2: Eats and stuff. So I feel like that would be
- 8:27Speaker 2: a sign.
- 8:27Speaker 1: For that reason.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:29Speaker 1: The Uber Eats guy would find you. I don't know
- 8:31Speaker 1: what's worse, getting found dead by the Uber Eats guy
- 8:34Speaker 1: or just mummifying.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Speaking of Uber Eats, so we went to SC yesterday, USC,
- 8:40Speaker 2: because I spoke at my sorority. Finally, I'm getting the
- 8:44Speaker 2: respect I deserve.
- 8:46Speaker 1: It just takes time, you know?
- 8:48Speaker 2: Finally, they realize I'm kind of a big deal.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I am too. I just want to let you know.
- 8:53Speaker 2: No, jump on. Let's hear about your big deal.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Please do tell. There's a page on Instagram called Long
- 9:01Speaker 1: Island Connection or something. And each week they do famous
- 9:04Speaker 1: people from Long Island. And I've never been mentioned. And
- 9:08Speaker 1: I finally was mentioned.
- 9:10Speaker 2: After all the years on Chelsea Lely and everything.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Nothing. And then, of course, the comments underneath like, who
- 9:15Speaker 1: are these people? Never heard of them. So, you know,
- 9:19Speaker 1: the fun lasts for about a second until you read
- 9:21Speaker 1: the comments. But I was excited about it.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Well, we– Drake was with me because he's on his
- 9:26Speaker 2: spring break and he helps me out with this business.
- 9:30Speaker 2: But made it so nice because we had a lot
- 9:32Speaker 2: to do yesterday. But so I said, well, let's go
- 9:34Speaker 2: down there earlier and just like look at the school.
- 9:37Speaker 5: OK.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Because it's been a minute. And– So anyway, there used
- 9:42Speaker 2: to be this thing called University Village that was just crap.
- 9:47Speaker 2: And you could not go there when I was there
- 9:49Speaker 2: by yourself. Yeah. And I have to say, I think
- 9:52Speaker 2: I learned to be very self-aware of self, my surroundings.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Because for those people who don't know from here, USC
- 10:01Speaker 1: can be in a bad area depending upon which direction
- 10:04Speaker 1: you go.
- 10:04Speaker 2: But it was way worse 30 years ago.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Right.
- 10:07Speaker 2: And now they've kept expanding it. I mean, we used
- 10:09Speaker 2: to see... A lot of scary people walking around.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Right.
- 10:13Speaker 2: One time I was walking by the Newman Center to
- 10:16Speaker 2: go to school, which is the Catholic Church, and these
- 10:19Speaker 2: little kids on a bike just grabbed my boob.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Whoa.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Little kids.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Like how little?
- 10:24Speaker 2: Like 10. Jesus, really? Yeah, it was like, and then you,
- 10:29Speaker 2: also they were the first people that kind of did
- 10:31Speaker 2: Uber before Uber. It was called, you could just pick
- 10:35Speaker 2: up the phone at any time. They were the first university,
- 10:37Speaker 2: I think, to do this, called SC Escort. So like
- 10:42Speaker 2: if you were at, you know, the library, you would
- 10:44Speaker 2: just call that and they'd pick you up and take you.
- 10:46Speaker 1: So like I only- Not the little kids on the bike.
- 10:49Speaker 2: No, no, like real like mini cops or whatever.
- 10:51Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 10:52Speaker 2: And so it was great. Also, if you were at
- 10:53Speaker 2: some guy's house and he was trying to, like, get
- 10:56Speaker 2: with you and you didn't want to spend the night,
- 10:57Speaker 2: you could always call the escort. It was always free.
- 11:00Speaker 2: They would always come get you. And so it was
- 11:03Speaker 2: really great. I liked that part of it. But it
- 11:06Speaker 2: also taught me to do the same thing when I'd be, like,
- 11:09Speaker 2: doing stand-up on Melrose. And I'd see these other girls
- 11:12Speaker 2: just walking to the car by themselves. I'm like, what
- 11:13Speaker 2: are you doing? I'd always ask somebody to escort me.
- 11:16Speaker 2: And then those guys would sometimes try to make out
- 11:18Speaker 2: with me, too. But at least... I knew them.
- 11:20Speaker 1: You mean the driver would try to make out with you?
- 11:21Speaker 2: No, it's like a comedian would like, I'd say, can
- 11:23Speaker 2: you walk me to my car? It's near, you know,
- 11:26Speaker 2: it's near whatever the store is.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Yeah, Fred Siegel.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Fred Siegel, yeah. It's by Fred Siegel down the street,
- 11:32Speaker 2: you know, because I don't want to pay for parking.
- 11:34Speaker 2: And then, you know, we'd start talking and the guy
- 11:36Speaker 2: would give me like a tag for a joke. And
- 11:38Speaker 2: I'd be like, God, I just, like, whatever. So anyway,
- 11:44Speaker 2: the school, they added this whole university village thing now. Right.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Incredible restaurants, fountains going.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Really?
- 11:53Speaker 2: Cuteness galore. I was like, wow, this is so nice.
- 11:57Speaker 2: So then I went to the bookstore and I got
- 12:00Speaker 2: my USC alumni frame because when I returned in my
- 12:04Speaker 2: old car, I left it on there. And then when
- 12:06Speaker 2: I called the dealership, they're like, what? I'm like, can
- 12:09Speaker 2: I get my frame back? They're like, shut up. So
- 12:11Speaker 2: I got another one. And I did a little video.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Oh, like the thing that goes around your license plate?
- 12:15Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Yeah. And I got a little line, which was the
- 12:17Speaker 2: whole reason I wanted to go to USC in the
- 12:18Speaker 2: first place. My dad was like, why do you want
- 12:20Speaker 2: to go there? I go, because I'm going to live
- 12:21Speaker 2: in LA and for the rest of my life, every
- 12:23Speaker 2: time I see a USC license plate frame, I'll get depressed. Yeah.
- 12:26Speaker 2: And then he thought about how many you see. And
- 12:28Speaker 2: he was like, all right, fine. So I'm walking down
- 12:30Speaker 2: and Drake filmed it and I have my USC baseball
- 12:34Speaker 2: cap on. And some of the comments are like, I
- 12:36Speaker 2: knew she was MAGA. I'm like.
- 12:39Speaker 1: For a split second.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Yeah, but I'm like, it is just an assing hat.
- 12:42Speaker 1: It's just red hat. There's a lot of red hats.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Just like, shut up.
- 12:46Speaker 4: I know.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Anyway, it was fun. The girls were delights. Very impressed
- 12:52Speaker 2: with how smart these girls were.
- 12:54Speaker 1: I have a couple of questions.
- 12:55Speaker 2: Yes.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Now, you went into the sorority house? Yes. So these
- 12:59Speaker 1: girls are in the school at 17?
- 13:01Speaker 2: Yeah, they're like 18 to 22 or three.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Yeah. So what's that like? Do they care? I don't
- 13:10Speaker 1: even know what an 18-year-old girl looks like these days.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Alabama Barker?
- 13:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Not like that at all. These girls, this was academic night.
- 13:18Speaker 2: So they all, many of them brought their professors and
- 13:22Speaker 2: all stood up and said, this is my mentor. This
- 13:24Speaker 2: is my professor. This is da, da, da, da. And
- 13:27Speaker 2: Drake was there filming it. And we got in the
- 13:28Speaker 2: car and he's like, wow. I'm like, those girls are
- 13:31Speaker 2: really smart. He's like, yeah. I'm like, he goes, I
- 13:34Speaker 2: don't think I've ever met any of my teachers. I go, well,
- 13:37Speaker 2: I certainly didn't invite any to my dinners. So they
- 13:41Speaker 2: were very smart and cool and well-spoken. And then I
- 13:45Speaker 2: did my little shebang about life.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Yeah. Did people seem interested? Oh, yes. Okay.
- 13:52Speaker 5: Yes.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Well, that's good.
- 13:54Speaker 2: But I was also smart. She said, I was going
- 13:58Speaker 2: to have you talk after I give out the awards
- 14:00Speaker 2: and all the girls introduce their professors.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Right.
- 14:03Speaker 2: And I said- No, I'd like to go before.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Because then some of these sporty pants are going to
- 14:07Speaker 2: cut out early to go to the library and like
- 14:09Speaker 2: not care about my stupid story. Yeah. So I did
- 14:12Speaker 2: it and it was great. And we filmed it. I'll
- 14:15Speaker 2: put it on Patreon.com slash Juicy Scoop. Whatever. Go to
- 14:19Speaker 2: my Patreon. I'm going to put it there because I
- 14:21Speaker 2: don't know how many people would really be interested otherwise.
- 14:23Speaker 3: Right.
- 14:23Speaker 2: But really full circle. Then I found my old rooms. Oh, my.
- 14:28Speaker 1: The kid who grabbed your boob wasn't there, was he?
- 14:29Speaker 4: No.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Imagine he showed up. Still remember them.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Yeah. No, but you know, they don't let boys upstairs.
- 14:34Speaker 2: So we had to ask the house mother if Drake
- 14:37Speaker 2: could go up to film me.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Oh, really? Yes.
- 14:39Speaker 2: And she said yes. And so I found my old
- 14:42Speaker 2: rooms and I was writing my old sorority sisters. And
- 14:45Speaker 2: I was like, wait, who lived on the third floor?
- 14:46Speaker 2: Like I was trying to remember who all lived with me.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Wow, that's crazy.
- 14:49Speaker 2: And yeah. So yeah, I had very low expectations because
- 14:54Speaker 2: oftentimes I've spoken at high schools and things and the
- 14:56Speaker 2: kids have been like, And I'm like, God bless you teachers,
- 15:00Speaker 2: like whatever. But no, these girls were, they were a
- 15:04Speaker 2: captive audience.
- 15:04Speaker 1: That's good.
- 15:05Speaker 2: And the food was excellent. Really? Oh my God, it
- 15:08Speaker 2: was the best food I've ever had.
- 15:09Speaker 1: So the whole USC is saying- It.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Was like a chef came out and had like salmon.
- 15:13Speaker 1: And filet mignon.
- 15:14Speaker 2: And what is this?
- 15:14Speaker 1: Is this the place the kids eat every day?
- 15:16Speaker 2: Yeah, if you want to eat at your sorority house,
- 15:19Speaker 2: it's served for you. Like chefs come and serve you.
- 15:23Speaker 2: That's the way it was for when I was there too,
- 15:24Speaker 2: but this was better. This was healthier and better.
- 15:26Speaker 1: My wife went to USC as well.
- 15:28Speaker 2: I know. That's why I like her.
- 15:30Speaker 1: And she tells me- She was Alpha Phi. Was she?
- 15:32Speaker 1: I have no idea.
- 15:33Speaker 4: See?
- 15:34Speaker 1: I didn't go to college. I don't know. At least
- 15:36Speaker 1: I remember. I was an electrician in New York City.
- 15:38Speaker 1: You people out there eating steak, Alpha Phi. I was
- 15:41Speaker 1: working hard, people. Uh, yeah. All right. So yeah, that
- 15:45Speaker 1: was great. Well, good for you. I'm glad it's starting
- 15:47Speaker 1: to happen for you.
- 15:49Speaker 2: It's finally starting to happen. Okay. Now this is who
- 15:51Speaker 2: we want it to happen for again is this is
- 15:54Speaker 2: Wendy Williams. This is a quick clip of her having
- 15:57Speaker 2: a police escort onto a, um, onto a, uh, ambulance.
- 16:03Speaker 2: So what happened was she talked to, um, I guess
- 16:07Speaker 2: this is Charlemagne, the God, um, this morning. So she's
- 16:12Speaker 2: supposed to do the view this Friday.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Oh, really? Yes.
- 16:16Speaker 2: And she's at this assisted living facility. And it's kind
- 16:22Speaker 2: of smart because they have like someone watching her all
- 16:24Speaker 2: the time.
- 16:25Speaker 1: I keep seeing her in a window.
- 16:26Speaker 2: So she's in the window and she's waving. And what
- 16:28Speaker 2: she did was she had called the ambulance herself, I guess,
- 16:33Speaker 2: or had a person call. Had the police come take
- 16:36Speaker 2: her out. Otherwise, they might not let her leave.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Which is weird. So that she could go and get
- 16:42Speaker 2: all these evaluations done herself. And she's passing them.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Really?
- 16:47Speaker 2: Cognitively, she's okay. She was able to walk out. She
- 16:51Speaker 2: has her Graves disease and her foot issue, but she
- 16:54Speaker 2: was able to walk out just holding a police officer's arm,
- 16:58Speaker 2: got in the ambulance, got all that checked out.
- 17:01Speaker 1: So who was the person who says that Who was
- 17:04Speaker 1: it who said that she had other issues that needed
- 17:06Speaker 1: to be in this facility?
- 17:08Speaker 2: I'm so confused what happened in the last two and
- 17:10Speaker 2: a half years with her. Because we saw her on
- 17:13Speaker 2: the documentary and she clearly was not with it and
- 17:18Speaker 2: seemed to be abusing alcohol. I don't know if more
- 17:21Speaker 2: people then jumped on in that vulnerable moment.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Right.
- 17:24Speaker 2: And then inserted themselves. She did admit that her son,
- 17:29Speaker 2: who's like early 20s, mismanaged some of her money.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Right.
- 17:34Speaker 2: But of course she loves him and forgives him and
- 17:36Speaker 2: she had dinner with him. But then there were these
- 17:38Speaker 2: other people that were like appointed.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:41Speaker 2: And then like Bank of America or Wells Fargo like said, oh,
- 17:45Speaker 2: you can't have access to your money. All this weird shit.
- 17:48Speaker 1: And she had a lot of money, right?
- 17:49Speaker 2: She signed a huge deal.
- 17:50Speaker 1: She signed a show for 15 years. And it was
- 17:53Speaker 1: a hit. Oh, my God.
- 17:54Speaker 2: It was a runaway. It would have never gone off
- 17:56Speaker 2: the air.
- 17:56Speaker 1: That's why.
- 17:56Speaker 4: Right.
- 17:57Speaker 2: That's why when I was on it a lot, they
- 17:58Speaker 2: had guest hosts for like a year because they were
- 18:01Speaker 2: trying to keep it running for her to come back.
- 18:04Speaker 2: And she wants to come back. I don't know how
- 18:07Speaker 2: Sherry Shepard's show is doing. It's the same production company.
- 18:11Speaker 2: And Sherry is a delight. But I definitely don't feel
- 18:15Speaker 2: like the clips and the talk and. I don't know
- 18:17Speaker 2: how well it's doing.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Afternoon TV is– it's amazing to me that half of
- 18:21Speaker 1: them– I didn't even realize there was– Jennifer Hudson has
- 18:24Speaker 1: one and they're all getting picked up for two more years,
- 18:27Speaker 1: three more years.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Yeah. So it'll be interesting to see what happens because
- 18:31Speaker 2: if she's capable of coming back, if she wants to
- 18:35Speaker 2: come back or if she comes back at a more
- 18:36Speaker 2: like limited basis or whatever. But it's really nice to
- 18:40Speaker 2: see that she just– I mean I'm excited to see
- 18:43Speaker 2: how she does.
- 18:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Yeah. on Friday, but hopefully, you know, because when people
- 18:48Speaker 2: first saw this, they're like, what are they doing now?
- 18:51Speaker 2: She can't do the view. But it was like, this
- 18:53Speaker 2: was to, I think, ensure that she could do the view. Right. Like,
- 18:55Speaker 2: let me get out a few days before. Let me
- 18:57Speaker 2: not get fucked on Friday morning.
- 18:59Speaker 1: So she's going to sit at the desk of the view.
- 19:00Speaker 1: She's not going to be doing it from a remote
- 19:02Speaker 1: location or something.
- 19:03Speaker 2: No, that's what they say. So now she'll have a
- 19:04Speaker 2: couple days to like get an outfit together, get cute. Yeah. Yeah.
- 19:10Speaker 1: And how old is she?
- 19:12Speaker 2: She's like probably late 50s.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Oh, that's it? Oh, I thought she was 70s.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Really?
- 19:17Speaker 3: Really?
- 19:18Speaker 1: Late 50s? I have no idea.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Maybe she's 60, but she's definitely not.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Oh, really?
- 19:23Speaker 2: No, she's only like, yeah.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Okay.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Maybe she's like 60. But anyway, maybe she's like 62.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Have you been watching The Baldwins?
- 19:30Speaker 1: I have. Well, I watched the first episode and half
- 19:33Speaker 1: of the second.
- 19:34Speaker 2: And give me your overall thoughts.
- 19:37Speaker 1: You know, it's funny because I went in... like wanting
- 19:41Speaker 1: to hate it, but I mean, I think it's fine
- 19:44Speaker 1: enough reality TV. I think everybody goes in it because
- 19:48Speaker 1: of what, you know, the shootings. So they already hate
- 19:51Speaker 1: Alec Baldwin for a plethora of reasons and her. Yeah.
- 19:55Speaker 1: So for that reason, I think people are giving it
- 19:58Speaker 1: the harsher critique than they probably should. I mean, it's,
- 20:01Speaker 1: it's dumb reality television that I found kind of, I
- 20:05Speaker 1: don't like and okay.
- 20:06Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:07Speaker 1: I wanted to hate it. I went in looking to
- 20:10Speaker 1: hate it too, but I was like, I didn't hate it.
- 20:12Speaker 1: I was bored by it, of course, but I'm bored
- 20:14Speaker 1: by everything.
- 20:14Speaker 2: I'm kind of bored by the fact that it's their reality.
- 20:17Speaker 2: It's a ton of kids.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:19Speaker 2: And I saw a clip of they're at their beautiful
- 20:22Speaker 2: Hamptons house.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Right.
- 20:23Speaker 2: And he's cleaning out the skimmer or whatever. And he's like,
- 20:27Speaker 2: other people are on Jeff Bezos' yacht, but here I
- 20:30Speaker 2: am cleaning out the skimmer. And I'm like, okay, so-
- 20:34Speaker 2: Like we're supposed to be like, you're such a down-homed ad, whatever.
- 20:38Speaker 2: I think what happened was he agreed to do this. One,
- 20:42Speaker 2: they need the money. That's why he was doing these
- 20:44Speaker 2: lower budget shows that got him in a position for
- 20:47Speaker 2: a horrible accident to happen.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Oh, totally, yeah.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Because he has these seven kids in his 60s. But
- 20:54Speaker 2: he also, I think, agreed to do this because when
- 20:58Speaker 2: they started filming, they did not know the fate of
- 21:02Speaker 2: his situation. Yeah. And I think he thought, if by
- 21:05Speaker 2: any chance I have to go away at all, then
- 21:08Speaker 2: she's got a show.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Right.
- 21:10Speaker 2: And she can make money and I can stay relevant
- 21:14Speaker 2: because they're going to be talking about me and I
- 21:16Speaker 2: can gain sympathy because I'm doing whatever time.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Right.
- 21:18Speaker 2: So, you know, of course, he's not doing any time.
- 21:21Speaker 2: The family I saw are Helena, the victim's family, like
- 21:25Speaker 2: her parents or something. Allegedly, I saw some in some
- 21:29Speaker 2: articles so that they are still trying to sue the Baldwins.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:34Speaker 2: And which, you know, they can do whatever they want.
- 21:37Speaker 2: But like. You know, I respect that they're covering all that,
- 21:41Speaker 2: like they're covering it. They did cover, she did cover
- 21:44Speaker 2: that she was like, you know, I like Spanish stuff
- 21:47Speaker 2: and I like English stuff and I speak both and whatever. Right.
- 21:50Speaker 2: But it does seem like, and she's still doing some
- 21:53Speaker 2: of the Spanish words and stuff and going in and
- 21:56Speaker 2: out of it. And it seems like she kind of
- 22:00Speaker 2: is evil and hates him because she's like, he's like,
- 22:04Speaker 2: I'm allergic to cats. And- And then she's like, the
- 22:09Speaker 2: four cats are in the car with him to the Hamptons. Yeah.
- 22:12Speaker 1: I felt some of it was a little produced.
- 22:14Speaker 5: Yes, yeah.
- 22:15Speaker 1: We need something here. I'm allergic to cats. Oh, hey,
- 22:19Speaker 1: that's an angle.
- 22:20Speaker 2: And it's a lot of like, that's marriage. He's like,
- 22:23Speaker 2: I only like her when she's sleeping. Yeah. But then
- 22:28Speaker 2: in another one, they're like, without her, I couldn't do it. Look,
- 22:31Speaker 2: they just... They just need to do the show because
- 22:34Speaker 2: they need the money.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Can we get an episode where we put some eye
- 22:37Speaker 1: cream on Alec Baldwin's face?
- 22:40Speaker 2: They did. The little girl did a facial on him.
- 22:43Speaker 1: He needs more than that. He needs a professional in there.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Because those bags under his eyes, I've never seen anything.
- 22:48Speaker 1: I know he's going through a time right now.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Okay, I have a prediction.
- 22:52Speaker 1: They're going to take him off with a.
- 22:54Speaker 2: No, next season he'll get some plastic surgery. Yeah.
- 22:57Speaker 1: For sure.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Oh, that's a good idea. And they'll make lots of
- 22:58Speaker 2: jokes about him being old and blah, blah. And that's
- 23:01Speaker 2: the other thing, her making jokes about him being old
- 23:03Speaker 2: and not cute. I'm like, well, stop being such an ageist. Like,
- 23:06Speaker 2: you married this old fart after three months.
- 23:08Speaker 1: You bring up old pictures of him.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Constantly. Like, of how hot he was. And I'm like.
- 23:13Speaker 1: And then you forget how good looking he was at
- 23:15Speaker 1: one time. Like, oh, man.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:17Speaker 1: But, I mean, you know, everybody gets old.
- 23:19Speaker 2: Right. And it's like, yeah, she's got the confidence of
- 23:22Speaker 2: always being 23 years younger.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Than I am with a perfect body. Yeah.
- 23:26Speaker 2: I feel like, you know.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Okay. So how far did you get before you were like,
- 23:31Speaker 1: all right, I'm out? Like, where do you go with
- 23:34Speaker 1: reality TV?
- 23:35Speaker 2: The Screaming Kids is boring to me. It's like annoying.
- 23:38Speaker 1: Right.
- 23:39Speaker 2: So I mostly, to be honest, have just seen like
- 23:42Speaker 2: little clips. If a clip pops up, I watch it
- 23:44Speaker 2: so that I can discuss it here.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:45Speaker 2: But to give my time, no.
- 23:47Speaker 3: No.
- 23:48Speaker 2: I don't care. to see the Hamptons and the swimming.
- 23:51Speaker 2: And I think they seem like a loving family that
- 23:54Speaker 2: needs the money and allowed the cameras in. But I mean,
- 23:57Speaker 2: I just don't care that much.
- 23:58Speaker 1: I felt like once they got out to the Hamptons,
- 24:00Speaker 1: I was just like, why would they ever leave that? Like,
- 24:02Speaker 1: why go back to New York?
- 24:03Speaker 4: Why?
- 24:03Speaker 1: Put the kids in schools in the Hamptons and stay
- 24:05Speaker 1: out there. And let them spread out. Yeah. Like, we
- 24:08Speaker 1: got out there and it's like a big yard and
- 24:10Speaker 1: I'm like, what are you doing? Just stay out there.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Why go back to New York City with that cramped house?
- 24:17Speaker 1: And I guess he keeps saying, he's got OCD. He's
- 24:20Speaker 1: got OCD. He closes the cabinets and lines it, you know?
- 24:24Speaker 1: That was a big one. Like, I feel like these
- 24:25Speaker 1: are all like fake produced, like reality TV show. Yeah, like, oh,
- 24:28Speaker 1: we're so different.
- 24:29Speaker 2: I'm like, I like them. And then you see like
- 24:30Speaker 2: the pizza like fell and then he had to eat
- 24:32Speaker 2: it off the ground.
- 24:33Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Just like, you know, it's just very much, I mean,
- 24:37Speaker 2: it just reminds me of like the early days of
- 24:39Speaker 2: the Kardashians. Right. Back when like reality shows were like
- 24:43Speaker 2: sitcom light. Right, right. Like they were really produced, but
- 24:46Speaker 2: we didn't know it.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:48Speaker 2: And, you know, they were always like, the girls are
- 24:51Speaker 2: doing a Girls Gone Wild photo shoot. Don't tell Bruce.
- 24:56Speaker 2: And then Bruce shows up at Joe Francis' house like.
- 24:59Speaker 1: What are you girls doing? Come on.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Get angry, Bruce.
- 25:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 25:08Speaker 1: I remember the one where they got a chicken or something.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Don't tell Bruce we have a pet chicken. And then
- 25:13Speaker 1: he was chasing around. Where's our chicken?
- 25:18Speaker 2: So, yeah, I mean, it's that same kind of thing. Like,
- 25:21Speaker 2: you know, the dad is the butt of the joke.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Right.
- 25:23Speaker 2: And whatever. Itching, burning, soreness. When you know it's thrush,
- 25:29Speaker 2: you want it gone.
- 25:30Speaker 3: Treat the cause, not just the symptoms, with Caniston Combate.
- 25:34Speaker 3: Ireland's number one thrush treatment brand caniston combi pastry and

- 25:45Speaker 5: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 25:48Speaker 5: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 25:51Speaker 5: have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found a
- 25:56Speaker 5: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 25:58Speaker 3: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 26:01Speaker 1: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 26:04Speaker 1: filed against me. When your free will was about to
- 26:06Speaker 1: be taken from you, what would you do if it
- 26:08Speaker 1: was given back?
- 26:09Speaker 5: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 26:12Speaker 5: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 26:15Speaker 1: He said, I have a work dad. I need a
- 26:16Speaker 1: home dad.
- 26:17Speaker 2: What happens next?
- 26:18Speaker 1: When I came in, he started crying.
- 26:20Speaker 5: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 26:24Speaker 5: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 26:27Speaker 5: happens next.
- 26:28Speaker 2: I decided to risk it all.
- 26:29Speaker 1: I realized how valuable every day was.
- 26:31Speaker 2: You're worth the work. Listen. Listen.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 26:34Speaker 3: You can use your voice even if it shakes.
- 26:37Speaker 5: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 26:40Speaker 5: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 26:52Speaker 2: So, Meghan Markle's show. I've talked a little bit about it.
- 26:58Speaker 2: It was a big talk. Second season. Now, they're saying
- 27:02Speaker 2: Daily Mail today is saying, how Meghan Markle's surprising TV
- 27:05Speaker 2: ratings give away her secret advantage as highly criticized Netflix
- 27:09Speaker 2: show bagged second season. Well, now, I read the article. And, yes,
- 27:14Speaker 2: it only has a quarter of the ratings of their doc,
- 27:18Speaker 2: which was the biggest thing that Netflix had seen in
- 27:21Speaker 2: a couple years. So we still don't know. still a
- 27:26Speaker 2: quarter of that would still be a successful show.
- 27:28Speaker 1: It's doing great.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Yeah, of course it's doing great. And now being that
- 27:31Speaker 2: you and Megan work together.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Dear friends.
- 27:35Speaker 2: I am really waiting for her to roll the silverware
- 27:39Speaker 2: and tie it in burlap string and put that out
- 27:43Speaker 2: on the show.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Can I say this?
- 27:44Speaker 2: And will you be invited to that episode?
- 27:46Speaker 1: I was the one who broke the calligraphy that she
- 27:48Speaker 1: had very nice handwriting because she used to write the
- 27:50Speaker 1: specials at the restaurant and made me a nice birthday card.
- 27:55Speaker 1: in her calligraphy or whatever. Some people think that's- She
- 27:57Speaker 1: does have beautiful writing. Yes, she does. That was her thing.
- 28:00Speaker 2: I said that to a friend of mine. She goes,
- 28:02Speaker 2: it's not that great. I'm like, okay.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Well, I mean, you're trying to hate her.
- 28:06Speaker 2: You're trying to somebody who does not do one cute thing.
- 28:09Speaker 5: Right.
- 28:10Speaker 2: Which is me.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Yeah. Like I wouldn't take peanut butter pretzels and put
- 28:13Speaker 1: them in another bag.
- 28:15Speaker 2: And no, but I had a friend bring me a
- 28:17Speaker 2: housewarming gift. And I was like, this is you could
- 28:21Speaker 2: do a Meghan Markle show.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Like some people just like it was like she had
- 28:25Speaker 2: the the crinkly. So it's like higher up in a basket. Champagne,
- 28:30Speaker 2: plastic champagne glasses for the pool. Yeah. Another thing underneath
- 28:36Speaker 2: all wrapped up in a bow.
- 28:38Speaker 1: I think that's like a gene that people have and
- 28:41Speaker 1: people don't. You know what I mean? My mother has
- 28:44Speaker 1: a neighbor that she is furious at because she knows
- 28:48Speaker 1: how to decorate. She knows how to entertain. She knows
- 28:51Speaker 1: how to entertain.
- 28:53Speaker 2: And you know what? My mom was a good cook,
- 28:54Speaker 2: but she wasn't cutesy like that. Yeah. She wasn't like
- 28:58Speaker 2: an amazing gift wrapper. She wasn't. And there's just certain
- 29:02Speaker 2: people like that.
- 29:02Speaker 1: And I think they get jealous of people who are like, yeah,
- 29:06Speaker 1: I don't.
- 29:07Speaker 2: I feel like you. That's why I'm like, I'm I
- 29:11Speaker 2: think it's kind of fun to make fun of her
- 29:12Speaker 2: because it's like I think there's a lot of push
- 29:15Speaker 2: of inauthenticity and trying to get out that she's not
- 29:18Speaker 2: a bad person, whatever. But I also feel like, hey,
- 29:21Speaker 2: I think she's always been into this shit.
- 29:24Speaker 4: Right.
- 29:24Speaker 2: It's true. She had. Yeah. And I do think. if
- 29:27Speaker 2: you have to do a show, this is a lot easier,
- 29:30Speaker 2: less time consuming to go to the house that's pre-lit
- 29:34Speaker 2: down the street Right. And then be home by four
- 29:36Speaker 2: o'clock and knock out 12 episodes in two seasons in
- 29:41Speaker 2: probably two weeks.
- 29:43Speaker 1: How many episodes are in the season one? They're going
- 29:44Speaker 1: to be on suits. I watched two episodes. I watched
- 29:46Speaker 1: the first one.
- 29:46Speaker 2: I think there's like six or eight.
- 29:48Speaker 1: Okay.
- 29:48Speaker 2: And then there's another season and I heard they already
- 29:50Speaker 2: filmed them. So like it's already done.
- 29:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:53Speaker 2: And like that is efficient use of your time. It's
- 29:57Speaker 2: not like I said, working on a Grey's Anatomy or
- 30:00Speaker 2: Suits where you're in your trailer waiting, waiting, waiting. Your
- 30:03Speaker 2: makeup's getting crusty, you know, and then you have to
- 30:06Speaker 2: like memorize a bunch of things. So it's like, yeah,
- 30:09Speaker 2: I think she's a decent actress, but she knows that's
- 30:11Speaker 2: harder work than just having people show up and pretend
- 30:15Speaker 2: that they're her friends.
- 30:16Speaker 1: Have you watched?
- 30:17Speaker 2: Yes, I have watched two full episodes.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Yeah, me too.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Watched.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Now, let me just say this. I don't know. I'm
- 30:22Speaker 1: not going to– I'm sure you said they were already filmed.
- 30:25Speaker 1: You got to have more Mindy Kaling's, more comedians because
- 30:29Speaker 1: it was a whole different show when Mindy Kaling was there.
- 30:33Speaker 1: I thought it was a better show. I thought Mindy
- 30:35Speaker 1: Kaling was funny. I thought it made Meghan seem better.
- 30:38Speaker 2: And the first guy– Even when she snapped at her
- 30:39Speaker 2: about the Sussex?
- 30:41Speaker 1: I know. That was– It's so funny that.
- 30:43Speaker 2: You call me Meghan Markle when I'm not.
- 30:45Speaker 1: I'm a Sussex now.
- 30:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm a Sussex.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Yeah. And then, of course, Mindy Kaling's like, oh, now
- 30:52Speaker 1: I know. She's like, I drove all.
- 30:53Speaker 4: The way up here.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Okay, so we're going to do a pitch. Obviously, you've
- 30:56Speaker 2: got to have Chris Frangelo because there's real history there. Secondly,
- 30:59Speaker 2: you've got to have me because we can talk about
- 31:01Speaker 2: all-girl high schools.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:03Speaker 2: Which is a unique club.
- 31:05Speaker 1: Right.
- 31:06Speaker 2: That if you're part of it, you know for the
- 31:08Speaker 2: rest of your life. You didn't have to go to
- 31:09Speaker 2: the same school. It's a club.
- 31:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:11Speaker 2: And that is one of the things that I initially
- 31:14Speaker 2: bonded with her. And so, yes, I can see what
- 31:19Speaker 2: the criticism is, but I can also see that also
- 31:21Speaker 2: what I said yesterday was I think a lot of women,
- 31:25Speaker 2: women are awful to each other.
- 31:26Speaker 1: Okay. Yeah.
- 31:27Speaker 2: We are awful. And Gen X is more awful to
- 31:30Speaker 2: each other, in my opinion, than millennials or Gen Zs.
- 31:32Speaker 4: Oh, okay.
- 31:32Speaker 2: As women. We get jealous, we get bitter, we see
- 31:36Speaker 2: other people doing something that we could probably do well,
- 31:39Speaker 2: and instead of lifting those people up, we're like, they're
- 31:42Speaker 2: not that great at it. This is not, this is original,
- 31:44Speaker 2: this is Pinterest from 10 years ago, whatever. And it's like, well, whatever.
- 31:49Speaker 2: She got the TV deal and they agreed to do it.
- 31:51Speaker 2: And she was smart. Like I said, doing this show
- 31:55Speaker 2: is a lot easier lifting for her than it would
- 31:58Speaker 2: be to go back and be an actual actress in
- 32:01Speaker 2: a show.
- 32:02Speaker 1: I found it to be nice, easy breezy. I like
- 32:05Speaker 1: the look of the, you know, they made the outside
- 32:07Speaker 1: look nice. Make whatever that where they live. Montecito looks nice.
- 32:12Speaker 1: I thought the beekeeper guy looked exactly like a beekeeper guy.
- 32:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Like that's the guy you would want to be the beekeeper.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Brandon the beekeeper.
- 32:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:21Speaker 2: All right. Well, Chris. It's a lot of. Chris and I,
- 32:25Speaker 2: we could carpool together.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Be up there in two hours. To Montecito.
- 32:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 32:29Speaker 2: And you could do a dual one with us. And
- 32:32Speaker 2: it could be fun. And I can admit I am
- 32:35Speaker 2: not crafty. I don't have pretty handwriting.
- 32:37Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Chris can talk about what a delight you were to
- 32:40Speaker 2: work with, which is what you want. You want people
- 32:43Speaker 2: from your past to say you were a delight and
- 32:45Speaker 2: you always said she was.
- 32:47Speaker 1: See, when she mentioned on the Oprah interview, she said
- 32:50Speaker 1: something about I worked at Humphrey Yogurt. And that's all
- 32:53Speaker 1: anyone talked about after the interview was over.
- 32:54Speaker 2: The confusion part about that.
- 32:56Speaker 1: Okay.
- 32:56Speaker 2: And I remember some people corrected or whatever. But the
- 32:59Speaker 2: initial thought of people saying liar was being that I'm
- 33:02Speaker 2: just a few years older than her. The law was
- 33:06Speaker 2: you had to be 16 to work in California. Right.
- 33:08Speaker 2: I worked at Haagen-Dazs after I was 16.
- 33:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:12Speaker 2: I think I told you my little wrist couldn't get
- 33:14Speaker 2: the Swiss almond fudge ice cream. It was so hard.
- 33:17Speaker 2: And people always wanted that specially hand-packed.
- 33:20Speaker 1: And then you got to get in there.
- 33:21Speaker 2: For those rich Tarzana people. Yeah. And then they'd come
- 33:24Speaker 2: and they'd go, $ 1.
- 33:25Speaker 4: 25 a scoop.
- 33:26Speaker 2: And I was like, oh, shit. They come from Tarzana
- 33:28Speaker 2: movie theater. So I'm scooping, scooping. So she says in
- 33:34Speaker 2: the show, I was 13 and this was my first job.
- 33:37Speaker 2: So I would really like to hear from somebody, how
- 33:39Speaker 2: does a 13-year-old in the mid-90s work at a shop
- 33:45Speaker 2: that your parents don't own in California? And I just
- 33:49Speaker 2: don't understand how she was able to do that.
- 33:51Speaker 1: I think sometimes independently owned places maybe skirt the laws
- 33:55Speaker 1: a little bit.
- 33:56Speaker 2: I mean, that's crazy, though. 13 working at a real place?
- 34:00Speaker 1: That's true.
- 34:01Speaker 2: That is like up there with like– The Industrial Revolution
- 34:04Speaker 2: when children were like in factories. Like that's why that happened.
- 34:09Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 34:09Speaker 1: So it is– but anyway, I'm saying if– Yes. To
- 34:13Speaker 1: have somebody there from her like hostessing, waitressing days would
- 34:17Speaker 1: make her seem more down to earth.
- 34:19Speaker 2: And here the biggest thing about it is I– from
- 34:24Speaker 2: what I've seen and I don't know because she hasn't
- 34:26Speaker 2: invited me to Montecito. Is she kind of a dull bird?
- 34:30Speaker 2: Like I– I feel she's kind of boring.
- 34:32Speaker 1: 100%. I mean, that's the whole takeaway.
- 34:35Speaker 2: So you never had a juicy conversation or like a
- 34:37Speaker 2: good chuckle?
- 34:39Speaker 1: No, I mean, outside of, yeah.
- 34:41Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. Like she's, Not everybody is a
- 34:43Speaker 2: good storyteller. Not everybody is funny.
- 34:46Speaker 1: No, that's why I said- Not everyone can be a podcaster.
- 34:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:49Speaker 1: When Mindy Kaling came, Mindy Kaling was kind of funny.
- 34:51Speaker 2: She was trying to help.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Yeah, she was trying to help. And there was a
- 34:55Speaker 1: couple of back and forth that were better than the
- 34:58Speaker 1: makeup guy who just kept going, I've never seen a
- 35:01Speaker 1: strawberry that looked like that. But the poor guy was like,
- 35:03Speaker 1: I don't know what to do with you.
- 35:07Speaker 2: He's just like, I just want to go.
- 35:08Speaker 1: And then she kept saying like, well, I'll also say
- 35:11Speaker 1: this to Megan. I don't have to stay over the house.
- 35:14Speaker 1: You don't have to make me a whole thing for
- 35:17Speaker 1: my tub, my bath.
- 35:18Speaker 2: I know I told you this before. I know I've
- 35:21Speaker 2: told the juices here for this, but I remember I
- 35:23Speaker 2: stayed at, I would, I went to Bill Maher's concert,
- 35:28Speaker 2: standup concert in Santa Barbara with my friend, Tanya Thicke,
- 35:33Speaker 2: widow to Alan Thicke and Alan. And he were really
- 35:35Speaker 2: good friends. And so she's like, do you want to go?
- 35:38Speaker 2: And then we'll go backstage. And I was all excited
- 35:40Speaker 2: to meet him thinking he'd remember that he dated my friend. Right.
- 35:44Speaker 2: And then invite me to go on the show. Not good.
- 35:48Speaker 2: He was like– she told me later that he was
- 35:50Speaker 2: very annoyed that she brought me backstage. Oh, no. And
- 35:53Speaker 2: why did you bring that girl? Like bringing– like I
- 35:56Speaker 2: was a thirsty stand-up or something. I'm like, I just
- 35:58Speaker 2: was saying we hung out like years ago. He didn't
- 36:02Speaker 2: remember me.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Whatever.
- 36:04Speaker 2: But anyway– She, you know, he was very sweet to her.
- 36:09Speaker 2: And she's like, oh, she lives in like Montecito. And
- 36:13Speaker 2: she goes, you got to see what I did to
- 36:14Speaker 2: the house. You know, I wish I wish you would
- 36:17Speaker 2: have let me know earlier that you were coming and
- 36:19Speaker 2: performing in Santa Barbara. You know, you got to stay
- 36:22Speaker 2: at my house next time. He goes, Tanya, I love you.
- 36:25Speaker 2: I'm never staying at someone's house. I'm a 65 year
- 36:27Speaker 2: old band member. And I'm a multi-millionaire. I'm not staying
- 36:32Speaker 2: at your house. It was just such an honest thing
- 36:36Speaker 2: of like, if you're not my sister, maybe I'm probably
- 36:41Speaker 2: at my level would rather be at a beautiful hotel
- 36:44Speaker 2: or have my driver drive me back to LA that night.
- 36:46Speaker 1: I couldn't agree with that more. Watching that episode, it
- 36:50Speaker 1: was giving me anxiety just watching. She's like, and here's
- 36:54Speaker 1: Epsom salts for your bath. I'm like, who's taking a
- 36:56Speaker 1: bath at somebody's house?
- 36:57Speaker 2: Do you know what Peter said? He was furious. He's like,
- 37:00Speaker 2: do you know how much water it takes to fill
- 37:02Speaker 2: a bathtub? And he goes, don't you think people are
- 37:05Speaker 2: bringing that up? I go, no, Peter.
- 37:06Speaker 1: No, I didn't even think about that.
- 37:08Speaker 2: The other thing Peter brings up is balloons.
- 37:10Speaker 1: Oh, really?
- 37:11Speaker 2: He doesn't like them? It's horrible for the environment. Why
- 37:14Speaker 2: are people so big on balloons? Don't they know how
- 37:16Speaker 2: bad it is for the environment? And I go, no, Bahumbug,
- 37:20Speaker 2: they don't. And I know people that take a bath
- 37:22Speaker 2: every night.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Oh.
- 37:24Speaker 2: And he feels... He does not like people who take baths.
- 37:28Speaker 2: And he was like, I would not want someone to,
- 37:30Speaker 2: I go, well, lucky for you.
- 37:31Speaker 1: You shouldn't come over to our house. My daughter likes
- 37:33Speaker 1: it real high. Get it real high, the bath. It
- 37:36Speaker 1: goes right to the top. We're wasting water left and
- 37:39Speaker 1: right over there. Well, yeah.
- 37:41Speaker 2: So, yeah, making your own Epstein whatever.
- 37:45Speaker 1: I also want to see the episode because you keep
- 37:49Speaker 1: having people stay at our house. Let's see the episode
- 37:51Speaker 1: where somebody flushed the wrong toilet. You know, there's always
- 37:54Speaker 1: that one. Did you flush the toilet downstairs?
- 37:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:56Speaker 1: Why was that?
- 37:57Speaker 4: Hold on.
- 37:58Speaker 2: Let me get H with the toilet plunger. H, can
- 38:01Speaker 2: you get a toilet plunger?
- 38:02Speaker 1: You know?
- 38:03Speaker 2: Chris, who I used to work with at Mirabelle, took
- 38:06Speaker 2: a big dump.
- 38:07Speaker 1: And he flushed the wrong toilet.
- 38:09Speaker 2: And now the house- This is an old Montecito estate.
- 38:12Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 38:13Speaker 1: Every house has its quirks.
- 38:13Speaker 2: We don't want anything new. We want old and charming.
- 38:17Speaker 1: You should have mentioned that before.
- 38:18Speaker 2: What if that is why they truly left England?
- 38:21Speaker 1: Because somebody- Because the toilets could.
- 38:23Speaker 2: Not take her giant dumps. And she was like, I
- 38:27Speaker 2: don't need there to be another- a book written about
- 38:32Speaker 2: Princess Meghan's dumps.
- 38:34Speaker 1: You could say many things about Meghan Markle. I don't
- 38:35Speaker 1: think she has big dumps. I think she's a little,
- 38:37Speaker 1: you know.
- 38:38Speaker 2: As my dad would say, ah, the bitch thinks she
- 38:40Speaker 2: shits ice cream. That's what he used to say about
- 38:42Speaker 2: anybody that he thought was stuck up.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 38:44Speaker 2: And I just, whenever he'd say it as a little girl,
- 38:46Speaker 2: I would just imagine like, just like Humphrey's yogurt. Yeah, right.
- 38:50Speaker 2: I would just imagine like a girl like shitting ice
- 38:53Speaker 2: cream coming down her ass. And I was like, what
- 38:55Speaker 2: do you mean? And my mom's like, oh, it just
- 38:57Speaker 2: means that she's like a stuck up bitch.
- 38:58Speaker 4: And I was like, oh.
- 39:00Speaker 1: Well, if Meghan Markle shit ice cream, she'd immediately have
- 39:02Speaker 1: a label on it that she wrote handwritten label.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Rapid cellophane with a ribbon.
- 39:09Speaker 1: Oh, man.
- 39:11Speaker 2: Anyway, I can't. God, lover, we are available. We are
- 39:14Speaker 2: available for a duo, and we're going to show what
- 39:17Speaker 2: a real delight you are. Okay. Speaking of real, so
- 39:21Speaker 2: Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet were at the BNP in
- 39:27Speaker 2: Likinta watching all the two weeks of incredible tennis. They
- 39:31Speaker 2: have great seats. And there was a video of her
- 39:36Speaker 2: friend is below taking a photo of them. And she's
- 39:38Speaker 2: literally pushing his face, kissing. And he's like, Watching the
- 39:42Speaker 2: game and then she's rubbing his shirt and everything. And so,
- 39:44Speaker 2: of course, that went viral of people saying, is this real?
- 39:48Speaker 2: He doesn't want to be affectionate.
- 39:49Speaker 1: It looks fake forever. All the award shows, it looks fake.
- 39:52Speaker 2: Oh, you think?
- 39:53Speaker 1: Oh, I've been saying it since this award season began
- 39:56Speaker 1: and he was at all the award shows. It's always
- 39:59Speaker 1: looked just off. I'm not saying fake necessarily, but something
- 40:03Speaker 1: about it is off. They never seem, they're always just,
- 40:06Speaker 1: they touch cheeks and whatever. It doesn't seem like the
- 40:09Speaker 1: way two people who are going out act. And they've
- 40:11Speaker 1: been going out, if you believe they're going out, they've
- 40:14Speaker 1: been going out for a long time now.
- 40:16Speaker 2: Well, I just don't know why you would. continue this
- 40:22Speaker 2: for so long if it wasn't real.
- 40:24Speaker 1: I agree with you on that.
- 40:25Speaker 2: There's no point.
- 40:26Speaker 1: There's no reason. He's already a big star.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Like, he's a big star. You could be gay if
- 40:31Speaker 2: you want. It doesn't really matter. I think it's real.
- 40:34Speaker 2: But I think what she was doing was, I want
- 40:38Speaker 2: content to post of us at this thing. And he
- 40:41Speaker 2: literally was watching the match.
- 40:43Speaker 1: Right.
- 40:43Speaker 2: And Just like she acted overly interested at all the
- 40:47Speaker 2: awards things, she's not. And she's not that interested in
- 40:50Speaker 2: the tennis.
- 40:51Speaker 1: Yeah. And every one time she could hear this guy
- 40:53Speaker 1: talk about Bob Dylan, she was like, I don't even
- 40:55Speaker 1: know who this is. Like, what are you talking about?
- 40:57Speaker 1: And then when he first wrote Did.
- 41:01Speaker 2: You see that movie?
- 41:02Speaker 1: I did. I loved it.
- 41:03Speaker 2: You loved it. I have not seen it.
- 41:04Speaker 1: It's great.
- 41:05Speaker 2: I have to see that and Anora, but Anora right
- 41:07Speaker 2: now you still have to pay for.
- 41:09Speaker 1: Loved it too.
- 41:09Speaker 2: And between that and filling the bathtub, I keep saying,
- 41:13Speaker 2: can I please see this movie? It's about a sugar baby.
- 41:18Speaker 2: It's my favorite subject for movies.
- 41:21Speaker 1: I would love to hear. When you watch it, you immediately.
- 41:25Speaker 2: Text me a review.
- 41:26Speaker 1: Text me a review because I want to know. Because
- 41:28Speaker 1: it's not– it's a hardcore movie.
- 41:31Speaker 2: Do you know that I saw an article– It's not
- 41:33Speaker 2: Pretty Woman. I saw an article that they spent $ 18
- 41:36Speaker 2: million to get it nominated. The nominating committee– and it
- 41:42Speaker 2: only cost $ 6 million to make. Yeah. And I thought
- 41:45Speaker 2: that was kind of interesting that you have that kind
- 41:48Speaker 2: of budget just to get it to be an Oscar winner.
- 41:52Speaker 2: But then I'm like– and people are like, see, that
- 41:54Speaker 2: doesn't make sense. And I'm like, actually, it does. Yeah.
- 41:57Speaker 2: Because without it, nobody sees it. And with that extra
- 42:01Speaker 2: $ 18 million, it might live on and actually be quite profitable.
- 42:06Speaker 1: They used to get a big bump from winning the
- 42:08Speaker 1: Best Picture. But when it was in theaters, it would
- 42:11Speaker 1: be re-released. But these days, I just read that Nora
- 42:14Speaker 1: hasn't seen a big bump since it won Best Picture. So,
- 42:17Speaker 1: I mean, I think it's doing fine. It did fine.
- 42:20Speaker 1: Made its money back and then some. But I liked it.
- 42:25Speaker 1: It's not for everybody. It's like hardcore.
- 42:27Speaker 5: Hardcore.
- 42:28Speaker 2: Not as fun as Pretty Woman.
- 42:29Speaker 1: No, it's so fun. I mean, it's fun. It's just
- 42:32Speaker 1: funny parts. It's a funny, kind of a funny movie,
- 42:34Speaker 1: but it's darkish and a lot of sex, a lot
- 42:37Speaker 1: of sex.
- 42:38Speaker 4: Wow.
- 42:39Speaker 1: But the fun, the interesting thing about it, I don't
- 42:42Speaker 1: know if anybody watched it. But that girl got a
- 42:44Speaker 1: lot of heat from it. The guy who played the
- 42:46Speaker 1: Russian bodyguard got a lot of heat from it. But
- 42:48Speaker 1: then there's the guy who's like the star of it,
- 42:51Speaker 1: who's like the boyfriend in it, who you didn't hear
- 42:54Speaker 1: one thing about.
- 42:54Speaker 2: But didn't one of the guys got nominated?
- 42:56Speaker 1: Yeah, he did. He comes later in the movie. The
- 42:59Speaker 1: guy who's throughout the whole movie, not even mentioned in
- 43:02Speaker 1: any of the award shows.
- 43:03Speaker 2: So in your opinion, this relationship is not real?
- 43:06Speaker 1: I don't think it is. You don't think they're fucking?
- 43:09Speaker 1: I don't. Wow. I mean- But based on nothing, based
- 43:13Speaker 1: on seeing weird gestures like this. And I heard things
- 43:16Speaker 1: like when.
- 43:17Speaker 2: I mean, she has a beautiful house in La Quinta.
- 43:20Speaker 1: Right.
- 43:21Speaker 2: And Kendall's there. So it's like they could all be
- 43:23Speaker 2: hanging out at that house.
- 43:24Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 43:25Speaker 2: And just because we don't see it and he's not
- 43:28Speaker 2: on the reality show... could also be that she is
- 43:33Speaker 2: just a different animal than Kim. Because she was raised
- 43:37Speaker 2: in it and because she hit that billionaire status much younger,
- 43:42Speaker 2: it's like she doesn't have to do anything she doesn't
- 43:44Speaker 2: want to do.
- 43:45Speaker 1: Right. So why would they do this?
- 43:47Speaker 5: I agree.
- 43:48Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 43:48Speaker 1: Because I thought it. Initially, when this happened, it was
- 43:51Speaker 1: Willy Wonka was coming out.
- 43:53Speaker 4: Right.
- 43:54Speaker 1: And I was like, oh, they need... He was kind
- 43:56Speaker 1: of a big star, but not yet. Not like he
- 43:58Speaker 1: is now. So I thought maybe we need one thing
- 44:01Speaker 1: to pop this guy. And who better than her? So
- 44:05Speaker 1: I thought it was them. But then Willy Wonka was
- 44:07Speaker 1: a long time ago.
- 44:08Speaker 2: Well, since you're speaking of it, you know, his first
- 44:11Speaker 2: movie was Call Me By... My name or your name?
- 44:14Speaker 1: Yes, yes, yes, yes.
- 44:15Speaker 2: Which was he played a young guy in the 80s
- 44:18Speaker 2: who fell in love with like a 28-year-old or 30-year-old
- 44:24Speaker 2: guy that comes to visit them at their Italy home
- 44:29Speaker 2: and they have sex.
- 44:31Speaker 1: The peach.
- 44:32Speaker 2: Which is, you know, yeah, with the peach. Yeah. You know,
- 44:36Speaker 2: the whole thing.
- 44:37Speaker 1: And that was Armie Hammer.
- 44:38Speaker 2: And that was Armie Hammer. And Armie Hammer then goes
- 44:40Speaker 2: on to like, Mario calls and says, I'm getting married
- 44:43Speaker 2: and the parents are like, great. And, you know, so
- 44:46Speaker 2: it's this love affair that's totally inappropriate because he's like
- 44:50Speaker 2: a 35-year-old man or whatever in it. And he plays
- 44:53Speaker 2: a teenager. So it's, you know. But Armie Hammer recently
- 44:59Speaker 2: on his podcast, did you see that clip?
- 45:01Speaker 4: I did.
- 45:01Speaker 2: So he's, you know, says, oh, I thought– you know,
- 45:07Speaker 2: all my friends who are gay have such a great life.
- 45:11Speaker 2: We'll be at dinner and their grinder will go off
- 45:13Speaker 2: and they'll go meet a guy in the bathroom and
- 45:15Speaker 2: they'll get a BJ and then they'll come back and
- 45:17Speaker 2: have dessert or whatever. So he's like, so I thought
- 45:19Speaker 2: I'll try to be gay. And there's a really good
- 45:21Speaker 2: looking French guy and we start kissing. And then I'm like, oh,
- 45:25Speaker 2: this beard and these shoulders. And then he goes to
- 45:28Speaker 2: grab my flaccid dick. And I was like, okay, this
- 45:30Speaker 2: isn't for me. And so there was a lot of
- 45:34Speaker 2: reaction to that. One was praise, like, A lot of
- 45:38Speaker 2: guys and women experiment with same sex. It's great that
- 45:41Speaker 2: he was honest. My initial thought is I think he's
- 45:45Speaker 2: a sex addict. So I think sex addicts try everything.
- 45:51Speaker 2: And so I believe the story and I appreciate his honesty.
- 45:56Speaker 2: Other people think he's so desperate to get people to
- 45:58Speaker 2: listen to this podcast that he's filming out of this
- 46:01Speaker 2: sad apartment in Venice that they're like, what juicy story
- 46:06Speaker 2: do you have? Fucking say it so we have a clip.
- 46:09Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 46:09Speaker 1: What are your thoughts? I got news for Armie Hammer.
- 46:12Speaker 1: I know he's jealous of the grinder, but Armie Hammer,
- 46:15Speaker 1: I feel like if he wants to get a blowjob,
- 46:16Speaker 1: he could get a blowjob pretty quickly too. by anybody,
- 46:20Speaker 1: I think.
- 46:21Speaker 2: He said, women are the worst, is what he said.
- 46:24Speaker 2: And so people didn't like that. That's a throwaway line.
- 46:26Speaker 2: But that's what people don't say. Well, yeah, they're the worst,
- 46:28Speaker 2: but they weren't so bad when you had them coming
- 46:30Speaker 2: over your house and you put them on a leash
- 46:32Speaker 2: and they had to crawl around and eat kibble. And
- 46:34Speaker 2: then you scratched an A in their.
- 46:36Speaker 1: Butthole or whatever.
- 46:39Speaker 2: That was all fine. That was all fine when you're
- 46:41Speaker 2: cheating on your wife with four people and planning a
- 46:43Speaker 2: barbecue with different women's ribs. Like that, then they weren't
- 46:47Speaker 2: so awful. But now like, now, oh, they're the worst.
- 46:50Speaker 2: Guys are cut and dry about sex and move the
- 46:53Speaker 2: fuck along.
- 46:53Speaker 1: Right. It is funny that now he's kind of out
- 46:55Speaker 1: there again. Yeah. And almost to the point where I've
- 46:58Speaker 1: seen him on a couple of podcasts where he's almost
- 47:00Speaker 1: kind of laughing about the whole incident. And I mean,
- 47:03Speaker 1: I guess in the end he really didn't do, he didn't,
- 47:05Speaker 1: he didn't actually cut people's ribs out.
- 47:07Speaker 2: No, he didn't cut anyone's ribs out. He did mark
- 47:10Speaker 2: his A on people's bodies.
- 47:12Speaker 1: He did? Like several people? Yes. Yeah?
- 47:14Speaker 2: That I believe is 100% true. He did come from
- 47:18Speaker 2: a weird ass family.
- 47:19Speaker 1: Sure.
- 47:21Speaker 2: However, yeah, when, you know, again, it was one of
- 47:24Speaker 2: those stories that went hog wild because we were in
- 47:27Speaker 2: the midst of COVID.
- 47:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:28Speaker 2: Just like Tiger King. Just like certain, there were certain
- 47:32Speaker 2: things that just was like, and I covered it a lot.
- 47:36Speaker 2: I had the aunt on my show that wrote a
- 47:37Speaker 2: book about his weird story. dad, her brother, and things
- 47:42Speaker 2: like that. And then they finally put out the doc
- 47:46Speaker 2: and it just kind of was a dud. And the
- 47:49Speaker 2: girls were not sympathetic characters because they all knew he
- 47:53Speaker 2: was married. They all willingly went over there. And were
- 47:56Speaker 2: they somewhat trauma? And then the girl that really claimed
- 47:59Speaker 2: trauma then backed off. So there wasn't really anything. So, um, Yeah,
- 48:09Speaker 2: I had predicted that he would come back and act
- 48:11Speaker 2: in something soon.
- 48:12Speaker 1: Has he?
- 48:13Speaker 2: I don't know. I feel going this podcast route, you
- 48:17Speaker 2: got to stay a little mysterious. I think everybody having
- 48:19Speaker 2: a podcast is keeping us from wanting them.
- 48:22Speaker 1: But is it his podcast or is he just a
- 48:23Speaker 1: guest on somebody's podcast?
- 48:24Speaker 2: No, it's his own podcast.
- 48:25Speaker 1: Oh, it is. Okay.
- 48:26Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 48:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:27Speaker 2: And so like, I kind of feel like, look, I
- 48:30Speaker 2: guess he's got to do it to make money. But
- 48:32Speaker 2: at the same time, I almost feel like if he
- 48:34Speaker 2: went away and then had made more of a cool
- 48:37Speaker 2: comeback in a really good project that he's... But prior
- 48:41Speaker 2: to his scandal, people were like, stop trying to make
- 48:43Speaker 2: Armie Hammer happen.
- 48:44Speaker 1: He's not that great of an actor.
- 48:45Speaker 2: He had a couple of bombs.
- 48:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:47Speaker 2: He's just good looking and tall.
- 48:49Speaker 1: Right. Yeah.
- 48:50Speaker 2: I mean, that's all you need to do.
- 48:52Speaker 4: All right. I like him.
- 48:55Speaker 2: Speaking of which... Okay. Lots of chatter, but also it's
- 48:59Speaker 2: kind of a slow week in pop culture. Is Jennifer
- 49:03Speaker 2: Garner and Ben Affleck, is Ben Affleck trying to get
- 49:06Speaker 2: her back? Her boyfriend of a long time, this guy,
- 49:09Speaker 2: something Miller, he's like an environmentalist or an attorney or something.
- 49:14Speaker 2: He was seeing, there was some connection with his ex-wife
- 49:18Speaker 2: that he was seeing with her. There was a time
- 49:20Speaker 2: where they were talking at one of the, Ben and
- 49:21Speaker 2: Jennifer Garner, and he kind of grabbed her waist. What's
- 49:25Speaker 2: going on? Is he, insider saying he wants to get
- 49:27Speaker 2: back together with her. She's like, I don't know. Oh,
- 49:32Speaker 2: it's so upsetting to Jennifer, J-Lo. Then J-Lo's like, I
- 49:35Speaker 2: don't care.
- 49:35Speaker 3: Right.
- 49:37Speaker 2: Do you have any thoughts about them as a couple?
- 49:39Speaker 1: I feel like at this point he needs to find
- 49:41Speaker 1: some other girl. He's going to meet another, somebody not Jennifer.
- 49:46Speaker 1: Too many, like he can't go back to Jennifer again.
- 49:49Speaker 1: This would be like, do you know anybody else? Oh,
- 49:50Speaker 1: you're right. That's not a Jennifer. Jennifer? Yeah.
- 49:53Speaker 2: J-Lo, Jennifer.
- 49:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 49:55Speaker 2: J-Lo, Jennifer.
- 49:56Speaker 1: Yeah, you're right. Can't do it again. Go find a
- 49:59Speaker 1: Susan or something.
- 50:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 50:03Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean, aren't they always kind of
- 50:06Speaker 1: hanging around? They have the kids and stuff.
- 50:07Speaker 2: They have the kids.
- 50:09Speaker 1: Didn't she always have to bail him out of rehab
- 50:11Speaker 1: or take him to rehab?
- 50:12Speaker 2: She took him once. First of all, he screwed the nanny,
- 50:16Speaker 2: which you know how I feel about lazy cheaters.
- 50:19Speaker 1: He did? He screwed the nanny? Oh, yeah.
- 50:20Speaker 2: He screwed the nanny. And then he had some other
- 50:24Speaker 2: young girls that he was dating. And that's when she
- 50:26Speaker 2: took him to it for his final meal at Jack
- 50:29Speaker 2: in a Box before dropping him at rehab.
- 50:32Speaker 1: Which, by the way, Meghan Markle likes Jack in the Box, too.
- 50:34Speaker 1: She mentioned that on the show.
- 50:35Speaker 2: It's so funny that you say Markle. It's Sussex, Chris.
- 50:38Speaker 1: That's right. Sussex.
- 50:39Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 50:40Speaker 1: I forgot.
- 50:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:41Speaker 2: My mother... Loved the tacos at Jack in a Box.
- 50:44Speaker 2: They're the, oh my.
- 50:46Speaker 1: God, a princess. I love Mindy Kaling going, what? You
- 50:49Speaker 1: had Jack in a Box?
- 50:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 50:51Speaker 1: Until she met Harry, she was born and raised in Hollywood.
- 50:53Speaker 1: We all had Jack in a Box. Right. Anyway, go on.
- 50:56Speaker 2: The Jack in a Box meal I always loved. What?
- 50:58Speaker 2: was because there was one in Santa Monica I think
- 51:00Speaker 2: it was the same one he went to before rehab
- 51:02Speaker 2: and I would go eat there before I would like
- 51:05Speaker 2: call it a night yeah and because I was always
- 51:08Speaker 2: so starving after going out I remember I'd go to
- 51:09Speaker 2: these nightclubs and I'd look at the people actually eating
- 51:11Speaker 2: the food and I'd be like one day I'll be
- 51:14Speaker 2: rich enough to actually eat the meals here jack-in-the-box no
- 51:18Speaker 2: at like a nightclub oh because instead I'd go starving
- 51:21Speaker 2: and then I tried to be healthy so they had
- 51:23Speaker 2: a jack-in-the-box Asian meal I don't know if they still
- 51:25Speaker 2: have it and it was rice and like teriyaki chicken
- 51:29Speaker 2: and like three things of broccoli.
- 51:31Speaker 1: How did they get into that business? I don't know.
- 51:33Speaker 2: When I ate it, I felt like I was being
- 51:35Speaker 2: healthy and delicious. Okay. So he has a little, he
- 51:38Speaker 2: has three kids. This is his youngest son.
- 51:41Speaker 1: Who's adorable. Is that Jennifer Garner's kid?
- 51:44Speaker 2: Yes.
- 51:44Speaker 5: Okay.
- 51:44Speaker 2: And he only has kids with Jennifer Garner.
- 51:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 51:46Speaker 2: And then he said– he told a story on Access
- 51:49Speaker 2: Hollywood that they were at some shoe thing.
- 51:52Speaker 1: Sneaker convention.
- 51:53Speaker 2: Sneaker thing. And this 12-year-old kid of his said, I
- 51:57Speaker 2: want these special edition Dior Air Jordans that were $ 6, 000. Yeah.
- 52:02Speaker 2: And he's like– and I told my kid– Get ready to,
- 52:06Speaker 2: you're going to have to mow a lot more, a
- 52:08Speaker 2: lot more lawns to get those shoes. And then he goes,
- 52:12Speaker 2: and then my kid said, what dad? We're rich. And
- 52:14Speaker 2: he goes, you're, he goes, I'm rich. You're broke, which
- 52:19Speaker 2: I've heard like 25 million comedians say that. And I
- 52:23Speaker 2: just want to say, just shut up, Ben. Like, who
- 52:26Speaker 2: the fuck are you kidding? Nobody's kid has a mowing
- 52:33Speaker 2: lawn business. Nobody has a paper route. No one's doing
- 52:38Speaker 2: that anymore in 2025, whether you have $ 150 million or
- 52:42Speaker 2: whether you have $ 100, 000 total in assets. People aren't making
- 52:47Speaker 2: their kids do that shit, okay? And stop acting like...
- 52:51Speaker 2: like you're such a tough dad, because they left and
- 52:53Speaker 2: they had a bunch of shoes from the thing, but
- 52:55Speaker 2: I guess he didn't buy the 6,000 Dior one for
- 52:57Speaker 2: his kid whose feet aren't going to fit in it
- 52:59Speaker 2: in three months. And I just was like, again, stop
- 53:03Speaker 2: trying to act authentic and like you're this hard-ass Boston dad. Listen,
- 53:08Speaker 2: you're a rich guy. You have kids that are privileged. You,
- 53:13Speaker 2: they're very, very lucky and entitled, but you as a
- 53:15Speaker 2: parent is going to have to take special precautions so
- 53:18Speaker 2: they're not asking you for $ 6, 000 shoes. Right. The kids
- 53:20Speaker 2: should have never asked you.
- 53:22Speaker 1: Yeah. And you are.
- 53:23Speaker 2: My kids, my kids could ask me for shit. They
- 53:26Speaker 2: don't ask me for anything.
- 53:27Speaker 4: Right.
- 53:28Speaker 2: And I don't know. It all started when I took
- 53:30Speaker 2: a parenting class. And they said, when you go to
- 53:33Speaker 2: Target or any toy store and they say, I want this. Yeah.
- 53:37Speaker 2: Because before Drake was in utero, they said, just say,
- 53:40Speaker 2: maybe for your birthday or Christmas. Oh, yeah. And I
- 53:43Speaker 2: did that.
- 53:44Speaker 1: I try. It doesn't work.
- 53:46Speaker 2: Have you really tried it? I don't know. I tried
- 53:48Speaker 2: it from the very beginning.
- 53:49Speaker 1: Try it for about a minute.
- 53:50Speaker 2: I tried it from the very beginning and they were
- 53:52Speaker 2: really good. But every family is different.
- 53:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 53:54Speaker 2: There's other things that other kids do. Like I was
- 53:57Speaker 2: telling Drake the other day, I go- God, you know,
- 54:00Speaker 2: the school, USC, is just so hard to get into,
- 54:02Speaker 2: you know, like whatever. You need like a 4.5, 4.7, whatever.
- 54:05Speaker 2: And I was thinking about some of my friends whose
- 54:06Speaker 2: kids are either getting in there or waiting to hear
- 54:09Speaker 2: and actually have a chance. And I go, sometimes it
- 54:13Speaker 2: just baffles me that some of my friends that I've
- 54:17Speaker 2: had since high school or beyond have such smart kids. Yeah.
- 54:21Speaker 2: Like how the fuck did that happen? Like you're not
- 54:24Speaker 2: that smart. So how did your kids get so smart?
- 54:27Speaker 2: Were you just riding them harder than I ever did?
- 54:30Speaker 1: I have like four friends who are about as dumb
- 54:34Speaker 1: as you could possibly imagine. Yeah. Whose kids are now doctors.
- 54:37Speaker 1: It's shocking to me.
- 54:38Speaker 2: What is that?
- 54:39Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 54:39Speaker 2: I get it when you come from a family of doctors. Yeah.
- 54:42Speaker 2: And that's expected. And you also have the brain thing.
- 54:45Speaker 1: Right. I don't know. I'm glad you brought that up.
- 54:49Speaker 2: I have girls that barely graduated from college, dancing on tables, drinking, whatever,
- 54:55Speaker 2: and their kids are like Ivy League. And I'm like,
- 54:57Speaker 2: how the fuck did this happen?
- 54:59Speaker 1: I'm the same way. I'm fascinated by it. I'm glad
- 55:02Speaker 1: you brought it up. Because I've been saying to my
- 55:03Speaker 1: wife every time.
- 55:04Speaker 2: How do our dumb friends have such smart kids?
- 55:06Speaker 1: Yeah, it's crazy. I mean, I have two of my
- 55:09Speaker 1: friends who are as dumb as shit. But both of
- 55:12Speaker 1: the kids are in Yale in like a pre-med program.
- 55:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 55:16Speaker 1: Like they were both valedictorians at their schools. And I
- 55:20Speaker 1: don't know how. Genetically, I got exactly what my parents,
- 55:24Speaker 1: they gave me their dumb shit. I got it.
- 55:27Speaker 2: Me too.
- 55:28Speaker 1: I never rose higher.
- 55:30Speaker 2: And I feel like my kids have really good qualities
- 55:34Speaker 2: from both Peter and I. But again, but then you
- 55:38Speaker 2: know what? I wonder if that was my fault. Because
- 55:39Speaker 2: right from the start, I was like, these kids are
- 55:43Speaker 2: not going to be doctors. Like I said it. I
- 55:47Speaker 2: wonder if I pushed it, if I was that tiger
- 55:49Speaker 2: mom and I pushed it from the start.
- 55:51Speaker 1: I think that's, yeah. I think everybody has that in
- 55:54Speaker 1: the end. I mean, I sit there and put on
- 55:57Speaker 1: Bluey for my daughter and I'm like, I could be
- 55:59Speaker 1: teaching her Mandarin right now, which is what probably some
- 56:02Speaker 1: parents are doing, but I don't have the time.
- 56:05Speaker 2: I remember putting some Legos in front of Brandon. You know,
- 56:09Speaker 2: and he couldn't do it. And I remember thinking, I
- 56:12Speaker 2: don't know that I'll ever see the day when he
- 56:13Speaker 2: can put this Lego together. And he did.
- 56:16Speaker 1: He did.
- 56:16Speaker 2: He did. I don't know. You know, sometimes it's a
- 56:21Speaker 2: gift to have low expectations. Yeah.
- 56:23Speaker 1: I feel like everybody finds their way.
- 56:25Speaker 3: I know.
- 56:25Speaker 1: I agree. Like, my parents had no expectations for, like,
- 56:29Speaker 1: they're still just like, wow, how did you do anything?
- 56:32Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't know. I mean, I don't know
- 56:35Speaker 1: what I took away from, like, the one thing I
- 56:37Speaker 1: took away, my dad always said, have packable wares. Packable wares.
- 56:42Speaker 2: What does that mean?
- 56:43Speaker 1: It means when you're packing a bag, make sure you,
- 56:46Speaker 1: instead of a thick jacket like this, make sure it's packable.
- 56:49Speaker 1: Do you have packable wares, Christopher? This is all my
- 56:54Speaker 1: father ever taught us. Packable wares and everything's a scam.
- 56:57Speaker 1: And I got to tell you. Teaching us that everything
- 57:00Speaker 1: was a scam.
- 57:01Speaker 2: Is good.
- 57:02Speaker 1: We, to this day, me and all my family.
- 57:05Speaker 2: I think that was a good friend, Joel.
- 57:06Speaker 1: We approach everything that everything's a scam.
- 57:09Speaker 2: No harm in that.
- 57:10Speaker 1: No harm in that, yeah.
- 57:11Speaker 2: And my dad taught me, some little bitches think they
- 57:14Speaker 2: shit ice cream.
- 57:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 57:16Speaker 2: And you shouldn't fuck with them.
- 57:17Speaker 1: I know. I mean, just different times, I guess. Just
- 57:19Speaker 1: different times.
- 57:20Speaker 2: My dad would also say, oh, don't get your tit
- 57:22Speaker 2: in a ringer.
- 57:23Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 57:25Speaker 2: Do you know what that means?
- 57:25Speaker 1: Yes, I've heard it. I don't really know.
- 57:27Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 57:27Speaker 2: It's so old. Yeah. I guess women washing clothes would
- 57:30Speaker 2: have that like round thing.
- 57:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 57:35Speaker 2: And if their tits were hanging, it would accidentally get
- 57:39Speaker 2: caught in one.
- 57:40Speaker 1: In a ring.
- 57:40Speaker 4: Oh, okay.
- 57:41Speaker 2: And I remember one time my mom goes, did your
- 57:44Speaker 2: mom really have to like wash clothes in a ring
- 57:46Speaker 2: or did her tit ever get caught?
- 57:49Speaker 1: Probably did.
- 57:50Speaker 2: Anyway.
- 57:50Speaker 1: Anyway, I watched the video.
- 57:52Speaker 2: Shut up, Ben Affleck.
- 57:53Speaker 1: It was a cute video of them at the moment.
- 57:55Speaker 2: I know, but also don't like throw your kid under
- 57:57Speaker 2: the bus and make him look like a little entitled shit.
- 57:59Speaker 2: Who even knows if this story is true?
- 58:01Speaker 1: And also Dior is going to send you the shoes. Oh,
- 58:04Speaker 1: you're right. They're going to send the shoes to the
- 58:06Speaker 1: kid now. Are you ever going to color me mine?
- 58:09Speaker 2: Oh, I love Color Me Mine. I've seen your work.
- 58:11Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you.
- 58:12Speaker 2: I've seen your work.
- 58:12Speaker 1: It's really good.
- 58:13Speaker 2: McKenzie, my daughter, was very into it. And it's a
- 58:18Speaker 2: very good activity to do with a child. But after
- 58:22Speaker 2: a while, you have about 20 things.
- 58:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 58:25Speaker 2: And it's very expensive after a while.
- 58:27Speaker 1: You might as well buy a kid Dior shoes because.
- 58:29Speaker 2: And I was always just like, we need to spend
- 58:31Speaker 2: an hour and a half here. Why is your work
- 58:33Speaker 2: done in 12 minutes?
- 58:35Speaker 1: I went last week. My daughter painted three fucking things
- 58:37Speaker 1: because she finishes it in a minute. You know, just
- 58:39Speaker 1: slap some paint on it. I'm like, no, you got
- 58:41Speaker 1: to work hard. You got to do better than that,
- 58:43Speaker 1: you know, because I can't afford five of these fucking things. So, yeah.
- 58:48Speaker 1: And then you have to wait and pick them up.
- 58:50Speaker 1: $ 270 later, we were like, I should have just bought
- 58:53Speaker 1: her Dior sneakers. Yeah, so I'm not good.
- 58:56Speaker 2: I think that you can go. I think the dollar
- 58:59Speaker 2: store is gone now, right?
- 59:00Speaker 1: It's gone. You get Michael's Art Supply has like ceramic stuff. Yeah,
- 59:04Speaker 1: you could. But then you don't get it.
- 59:06Speaker 4: It's not as fun.
- 59:06Speaker 1: You don't put it in the kiln or whatever it's called.
- 59:08Speaker 1: And it'll get glossy. It brightens up the end.
- 59:10Speaker 2: Yeah. Okay, this is a crazy story. It's one of
- 59:14Speaker 2: my favorite types of stories when a woman hires a
- 59:16Speaker 2: person to kill her husband that she's thinking of divorcing
- 59:19Speaker 2: and he has no clue. So this guy, Aaron Goodwin,
- 59:23Speaker 2: he has a show called Ghost Hunters.
- 59:26Speaker 1: Ghost Adventures.
- 59:27Speaker 2: Ghost Adventures.
- 59:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:29Speaker 2: And his wife, who he married in 22, has just
- 59:34Speaker 2: been arrested. She's on $ 100, 000 bail, but she's behind bars.
- 59:41Speaker 2: And she was talking to someone in prison. to hire someone,
- 59:46Speaker 2: so he was gonna get somebody to go kill this guy.
- 59:49Speaker 2: And she was corresponding with him and they found his
- 59:55Speaker 2: compensated phone. They always have these phones, these guys. So
- 59:58Speaker 2: he was able to text message the hit man and everything.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: And she said, I'll pay $ 11, 515, kind of a weird amount.
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: She'd already given a $ 2, 500 deposit to the hitman.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: And, of course, they caught it, caught on to it before.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: And he had no clue. And she had provided him
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: the hitman and the guy in jail that was hiring
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: the hitman, the middleman. She had provided him with, like,
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: you know, his schedule, what hotels he'd be at. all
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: this stuff, filming schedule. Yeah. And, you know, of course
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: her defense was, oh, I was just fantasizing about it.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: I was just talking, oh, you're talking to someone in prison?
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: And they weren't even, like, separated.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: So, I mean, total shock, like, totally blindsided. Like, he
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: completely thought everything was fine. And the fact that he
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: works on a show about ghosts when she wanted him to, like,
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: be a main character soon and be a ghost.
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: She was probably like, go kill him now. Be careful.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: He's surrounded by ghosts. Everywhere he goes.
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: I love a hired hitman type story.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: How do you even find a hit? Like, where do
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: you go? I guess you talk to somebody in prison
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: and they have people on the outside.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: I always feel, though, they're so– it always seems like
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: in all the cases that I've kind of covered and
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: been enthralled with, they're always hard to convict. Because you're always,
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: if the person lived.
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: Because they're always like, oh, I was just joking or
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: I was just playing. I was just talking to somebody.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: I didn't really mean it. But when there's money exchanged.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: Yes. Had they exchanged money yet?
- 1:01:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: The $ 2, 500 deposit.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: Oh, wow. Yeah. That's beyond fantasy at that point. She's
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: just joking.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: That's why she's, you know, $ 100, 000 bail.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: And it's not like he's going to bail her out.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: And just what? Ugh. It's just so awful when you
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: think about it.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: You're like– Yeah.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: I mean, really? You're not thinking about this guy's mother
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: or his brother or the production crew of Ghost Adventure?
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: I feel like it's easily traceable too. Like whatever the
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: hitman would do, shoot him or something or– I don't know.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: And you're going to believe someone in prison to like
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: keep your secret. But anyway, that was kind of juicy.
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: Speaking of prison, Lori Vallow, world's worst mother. She was
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: on Dateline this weekend. And this got– this one particular
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: clip got sent to me a lot because Keith was like, Lori,
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: you know, she's talking about God. She was the one
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: whose two kids were found dead, buried in her boyfriend's backyard.
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: He has been– he is sentenced to death. Right. And whatever,
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: appealing it. She got convicted of the crime of her kids,
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: conspiracy or whatever. Right. She is now going back to
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: trial for the fact that her brother shot and killed
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: her ex-husband.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: Oh, yes. I remember that.
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: And she's defending herself.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: Oh, good.
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: And then after that, she has to go to trial
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: for if she had her brother killed. Yeah.
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: And she looks like shit, you know, like because, you know,
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: she used to be kind of pretty. She was Mrs.
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: Utah or something or ran in that.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: And she's like– She comes off completely insane.
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: She's completely insane. And she's one of those people that
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: constantly uses Keith's name. Like, oh, really, Keith? You know
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: that's not true, Keith. And he goes, well, do you
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: think that– is Jesus, you know, in court with you
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: or something? She goes, yeah, he's everywhere.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: I'm his favorite.
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: I'm his favorite. But, and so everyone, she goes, I'm joking.
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: Of course I'm not his favorite, but I am. So
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: everyone said that to me because of my famous joke
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: before I fainted, which was clearly Jesus loves me the most.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: So now I'm up there with Lori Vallow with my
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: fucking comments.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: Your kids are still alive though.
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: So you got that going for you.
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: Yes. It is.
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: You're better than her. You're better than her.
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: She was so strange. So of course she's like, it's
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: a lot of work, but yeah, well, of course she,
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: Of course she wants to represent herself because she's like
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: the biggest thirst bucket and so incredibly clueless. Not at
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: all like sad that her kids are dead.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: No, that's always a weird one.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: They're not even sad. They're not even like every day
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: I yearn to hold my child again.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: Nothing.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: She's just like.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: Well, she's obviously psychotic. So, you know, she doesn't have
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: the same thoughts that regular people have. I mean, it's wild.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: Psychotic but not mentally ill enough to get off.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: Wasn't she like... For a long time, the kids were
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: missing and they were vacationing in Hawaii.
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: For a long, like years, right?
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: And just ignoring people.
- 1:04:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: No, it wasn't years. It was like months.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: Oh, okay. Yeah.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: But yeah, it was the strangest story.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: Oh, I forgot all about these two.
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: Blake and... Okay, so this one is going around. This
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: is from Tim.
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: Okay, or clout chat media. I'm not sure who's all
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: doing this. But this video I've seen go around.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: Yes, I've watched it as well.
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: It's other footage of like paparazzi filming them film their movie.
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: It ends with us. And she's wearing the double camouflage outfit.
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: I think it was when they were like, it was
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: after their first date or something. And they're kissing. And
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: you can see that she is, And the kiss is good.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: I thought they had great chemistry in the stupid movie.
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: I really thought they had good chemistry, which I think
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: Ryan Reynolds did too, which pissed him off. But she
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: bites the bottom of Justin's lip. So people are saying, look,
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: she's the aggressor. She's doing things that were not choreographed
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: with the intimacy coordinator. So I think it's hard in
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: the video to see that she's doing that. And so
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: what if she does? Because that's like a sexy thing
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: to do. Right. but still it doesn't go along with
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: what she claimed happened on set. So I've shared my opinion.
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: What do you think is going to happen? Where are
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: you now with all of this, your opinion?
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: Well, I mean, I don't know how, I feel like
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: it's just time where, but at this point, I feel
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: both of them need to just say, let's agree to
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: go our separate ways, drop the lawsuits and move on
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: with our careers. People will forget quickly. For with him,
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: Especially because I don't think people really know him as
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: well as they know her. So he could go back
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: to directing and be fired.
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: But you know he got fired from the Pac-Man job.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: I heard. But that was during– that was early on
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: when this story now has taken a bunch of different turns.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: But think how bitter you would be if someone accused
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: you of something you didn't do.
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: Your job is just launching as a director your career.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: And you get fired from it and your agent drops you.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: And now you're in this where all these content creators
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: are pulling up stuff to help your case.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: And your partner at Wayfair has got a lot of money.
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: So he's like, we're going the distance.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: I mean, here's the thing. She started it.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: She started it.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: So he would have to agree to drop it, which
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: I don't think is a terrible idea. Do we really
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: want to go through this till March 26th?
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: No, you don't.
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: We'll see. We'll see. I think, you know, someone has
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: to make the move, either Blake or him, to say,
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: is there some type of settlement for us just to
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: go back and be artists and never fuck with each
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: other again? But I think he would need her to say, I...
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: In reflection, I was never, by the definition of sexual harassment,
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: I was never sexually harassed by Justin Baldoni.
- 1:07:58Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: And therefore, I am dropping my initial case. And then
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: he could say, I really appreciate that she said that.
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: And in respect for everybody involved, I too am dropping
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: my case. And then they give him also, they pay
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: for all of his legal fees or whatever. That's what
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: I think would have to happen. And I don't think
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: it's going to happen.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: I mean, in a way, Blake Lively saved us from
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: having to watch a Pac-Man movie. So that's good. You know,
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: that's something. Let's give her some love. A little silver
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: lining there.
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: Yeah, let's give her some respect.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Also, she's now out promoting another movie with Anna Kendrick.
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: A Simple Favor 2. Yeah.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: And I don't know if it's because you're hearing so
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: much about her and whether she's annoying or not annoying.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: That's up to you to decide. But some of these
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: press conferences, I'm like, oh. She comes off just so
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: a lot, like a lot.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: Like I said this on the other show, she, Hilaria,
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: and Blake Hilaria and Meghan Markle need to go have
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: a boring off.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: Go need to have a boring off and see who
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: is voted most boring. Yeah. Yeah. Because they all just...
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: It's even.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: I don't know if boring is even the right word.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: It's just kind of... I wouldn't put... For her, definitely.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: She's in some sort of weird... Just like.
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: Like you think she's funnier than she is.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: All that. All that.
- 1:09:23Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:09:23Speaker 4: I know.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: I can't really. I don't have a word for it.
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: But just outside of annoying. But it's not. She's not annoying.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: But annoying. You know what I mean?
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: I can't really. But it's. Yeah. It's a lot. Like
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: I just. Anna Kendrick is just like. You see. She's like.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: Oh my God. Is she ever going to stop?
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: There was some weird connection to that I recently saw
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: that I can't remember about. When Ben Affleck was doing
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: The Town, she was in The Town. There was rumors
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: that they had an affair. He was married to Jennifer
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: Garner at the time. Jennifer Garner had some other connection
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: to like Ryan Reynolds. Ryan Reynolds was married to Scarlett Johansson,
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: who's now married to Colin Jost. And now Justin Baldoni
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: is now executive producer of– Scarlett Johansson's directorial debut. Like
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: it is just like everybody like kind of being like
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: getting each other back. It's just a total web.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: Amazing.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: Good luck to everybody.
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: These two annoyings. Oh. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett. So
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: Will Smith was on stage doing some singing thing with
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: some hot Latina.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: A few weeks ago. And they ended up in a
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: sexy kiss.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: What is everybody kissing everybody?
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: I'm in here. And this is a small article and
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: no one cares, but it was national napping day. And
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: Jada posted a photo of him napping and all the
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: kids around being like, look at our dad. And I
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: was just like, I completely forgot about their whole annoying
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: fake open marriage.
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: I really did too.
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: And like, or back in the day when everyone was
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: just like couple goals and they'd wear matching outfits, but she'd,
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: You know, and their height difference and my bonus son
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: and the red table talk.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: Oh, remember that?
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: And the grandma's wisdom.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: Grandma Pinkett Smith. Yeah.
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: And Willow's wisdom who, you know, didn't get past the
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: fourth grade. And what the fuck happened?
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: I know. Red table talk.
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: No one cares. I remember I like.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: The book came out. She had a book.
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: I read some of the book. And she was such
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: a bitch because he like planned her a birthday party.
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: And then she turned it around and said, the birthday
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: party was for you. And I'm like, again, no one
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: has ever planned me a birthday party. And if someone did,
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: I don't care if the food sucked. It was awful.
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: I'd be like, I can't believe you planned me a
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: surprise birthday party. And it wasn't even a surprise. He
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: was planning it with her knowledge. And then she put
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: him in the hot seat and was like, say it,
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: say it. And he goes, it was my narcissism that
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: made me plan the party, Jada. I wanted people to
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: think I was a good husband. That's right. That's right.
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: And I was like, ah, you are a fucking monster.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: Yeah, that was such a weird time. But was that
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: a COVID thing too?
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: I just feel like they are never coming back. Now,
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: I thought he would come back.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: And I just feel like people are like, there's other
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: people that can do that job. There's other people who
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: can kill an alien, be an astronaut, do whatever.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: And movie stars are kind of a thing of the past.
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: There really is no movie star.
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: Nobody's running. Yeah, no one's running because so-and-so is in
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: a movie.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: Yeah, we got to go see the Schwarzenegger movie. Those
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: days are kind of over.
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: Anyway, yeah, that's a very interesting one. I forgot all
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: about them. You need somebody on this. Remember the grandma
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: Pinkett Smith? She would just sit at the red table
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: and just go, oh, child. That's right. Yeah, yeah. You
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: need somebody like that.
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: When she shamed him for planning the party, which I
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: will just never get over, the daughter was agreeing with
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: the mom.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: And so was the mother-in-law. And I was just like,
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: none of you would have any of this if it
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: wasn't for Will Smith. And he has to sit at
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: this fucking Facebook show on the red table and be
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: torn to pieces because he threw you a $ 50, 000 birthday
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: party that you decided was too much. The jealousy between
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: them of both being stars was so gross.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: And they're still together, right?
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: And then he had to sit across from her while
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: she explained why she fucked Will Smith. His son's best friend.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: What was his name? Oh, God, I'm trying to think
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: of my tongue.
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: The friend.
- 1:13:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: The friend that, well, it was an entanglement.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: Entanglement with.
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: It was an entanglement. And she said, and then I
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: had an entanglement. He's like, yeah, you did, Jada.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: Entanglement.
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: And she's like, you know, no, you know, she was
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: helping him.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: But the kids are still out there like on red
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: carpets and stuff.
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: You know how like sometimes back in the day. And
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: I feel like this doesn't happen that much. August.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: Entanglement with August. That's what it was.
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: I hope it happened during August. Like, it was one
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: of those things where, like, the kid wasn't getting along
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: with his parents or something. So he was, like, living
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: at the Pinkett Mansion or whatever, the Will Smith Mansion. And,
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: you know, he was, like, 24. He wasn't, like, 17.
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: But still, like, all I can think about is, like,
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: the mom, the real mom, Sheree or whatever- of the
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: Trey stepson. Like she must have been like on the
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: phone with her friends going, girl, did you hear what
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: the fuck is happening with my ex and Jada? Jada
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: fucked my son's friend. And it's all over the news
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: that there's this perfect couple because like, I mean, that
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: is annoying if you're like wife number one. Right. And
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: forever they're on the red carpet, always wearing matching yellow
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: outfits and all this. And on Oprah where she's just
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: kissing their asses as America's greatest couple and she's the
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: greatest stepmother and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Ugh.
- 1:15:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: I always– they always irritated me. Not so much him
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: but her.
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: And– oh, the other thing someone said, when are we
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: going to start bringing up all the inauthentic Hollywood men?
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: Why are women so obsessed with attacking the Megans and
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: the Hilarias and the J-Lo's and all this? Right. I agree.
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: Let's get them. And even Jennifer.
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: Garner who would call the paparazzi to go to the
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: Coldwater Park when she had a place sit in her backyard, whatever. Yeah.
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: I don't know. Aren't they all like, I don't know. No,
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: but I think it's what I said before. I think
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: women just are overly critical of other women and men
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: don't care.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: You know, men will be like, ah, he's a douche.
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: He's a dick.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: That's about it.
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: They don't really expound on it. And you're like, why
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: is he a douche or a dick? And they're like,
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: I don't know. I just had a feeling.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I would agree with that.
- 1:16:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: I mean, I feel all the people we mentioned here today.
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: Do you feel like you have good– are you one
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: of those guys?
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: Do you have your dick radar?
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: Yes, because I feel like my brother-in-law, Shannon's husband.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: There's been times where then years later the guy turns
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: out to be a dick or the couple gets divorced.
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: And my sister will say, you know, Michael never liked him.
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: And I go, he didn't? We had dinners. We had this.
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: She goes, no, right from the start. He was like, meh. Yeah.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: Like I was a dick.
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: And I'm like, what is that? There's like a gift
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: I think certain guys have.
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: I like to think that I have it as well.
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: I think you have it.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: However, what I do is I just assume everyone's a
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: douche or dick until you prove me otherwise.
- 1:16:41Speaker 4: Oh.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: So that kind of works too because 90% of the
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: time you're right, especially in the worlds I travel.
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: But I don't really see anybody anymore. I really don't.
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: I was thinking of So, you know, you see you
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: from time to time. That's about it. Okay.
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: About this naked woman. Now, you travel a lot on
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: the planes. A naked woman was removed from the Southwest
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: plane in Houston.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: I tell my theory on this.
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: In which you're going to Houston on Sunday.
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: Sunday night.
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: So tell me, what is the story behind this and
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: what is your theory?
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: Well, I heard that she got up, you know, I
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: think before the plane took off and took off all
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: her clothes.
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: Like in the aisle or like in the bathroom?
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: In the aisle, went up to the front. Yeah.
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: And was it an attractive body or not attractive body?
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: I mean, you know, decent boobs as far as I
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: could see. I don't think, you know.
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: All right. I'm just wondering. Was she 80 or was
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: she like.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: No, she wasn't 80.
- 1:17:29Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: But she was.
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: All right. Yeah.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: She wasn't 22 either.
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: Got it.
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: Yeah. But anyway, it was just crazy. And I feel
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: like there's so much more of this on planes. I
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: don't know if it's people just filming it more. Yes.
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: I have a theory. I shouldn't say someone actually mentioned
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: it to me and it does make sense. What is happening,
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: I believe, is edibles. Edibles.
- 1:17:52Speaker 4: Good point.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: Here's what's happening. That's why people are losing their minds
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: on planes more often.
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: They're taking the edible before they get on the flight
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: because they're nervous or whatever the case may be. They're
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: fine getting on the plane because a lot of people go,
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: how did you let that person on the plane if
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: they were that crazy?
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: They weren't that crazy yet.
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: Yeah, they don't let a drunk on.
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: I don't know anything about edibles. I don't really do
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: that kind of thing. I don't do them either.
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: I don't do either.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: Someone mentioned it to me and I'm like, that's a
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: pretty interesting theory.
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: Oh, that makes a lot of sense.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: Yeah. So they get on and then the edible kicks in.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: And maybe they're new to it or they took too
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: much or they don't know. And their reaction is taking
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: my top off or freaking the fuck out. And I'm like, yeah,
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: that does make sense. Now you're a half hour into
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: the flight and you're freaking out. So maybe it's that.
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: Because they're not drunk. It seems more than drunk. So
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: what could it be? I don't know. Everybody's now doing,
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: what do they call it? Microdosing of the mushrooms and
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: the edibles and all that. kind of stuff. And some
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: people have different reactions to shit. So, you know, some
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: people can chill out and do a podcast and some
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: people take their top off on a Southwest flight to Houston.
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: Well, here's another one. This girl, she went viral. She
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: was in Brazil and because someone filmed her refusing to
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: let a crying baby have her window seat.
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: I always choose the window seat. I like the window seat.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: I used to.
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: I like to be tucked away.
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: Even though I feel guilty and I have to get
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: up and go to the bathroom, I prefer it to
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: the aisle. I don't know why I like it. You
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: don't like the window now?
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: Not anymore. I used to love it. And now I
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: feel very claustrophobic, a little closed in sometimes where I'm like,
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: now I got to go aisle. Yeah.
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: So I can't do it. Well, would you let– have
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: you ever been asked to change seats?
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: I have a few times.
- 1:19:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: But like for, you know, husband sitting next to the
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: wife or whatever. If it's the same seat, I have
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: no problem with it. If it's like not too far
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: back or– Right. Or whatever. And still an aisle. But
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: if like somebody says, can you do a middle seat
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: for your aisle?
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: But have you ever been asked and turned down and
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: said no?
- 1:20:00Speaker 4: No.
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: I've only been asked I think twice. And you accommodated.
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: And it was for husband and wife and I accommodated
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: both times. And we've asked once with our, my wife
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: and my daughter were in a seat and I was
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: in another seat. And the guy was like, yes. And
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: I'm like, great. I thought I was going to have
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: a peaceful flight.
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: I always remember that. Remember when James Corden got a
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: lot of shit, like it turned out that he was
- 1:20:22Speaker 2: like a dick or whatever. There was a story that
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: went around that someone said, I was on a plane
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: with James Corden and there was a woman struggling with
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: a small child and it was first class or whatever.
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: And he was just such a dick, like rolling his
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: eyes and everything. And at the end of the flight,
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: I realized it was his wife and child.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: Oh my, oh, that's funny. He was like, yeah.
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: And he was not helpful and acting like he didn't
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: know them. And I was like, oh my God. Now
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: that's true. That was just story read. So Giselle had
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: her baby and is on a yacht with the karate instructor.
- 1:20:59Speaker 5: Good.
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: Or jihitsu or whatever it is.
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: Living her life.
- 1:21:02Speaker 2: And stomach bikini again.
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: Yeah. Oh, yeah. Look at that. She's back. Well, she's
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: a supermodel.
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: There you go. Now she's the star of the show.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: And good for her.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: Yeah. Is that his name?
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: Do you think Tom Brady has any regrets?
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: Tom Brady's doing fine. He's doing fine.
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: I don't know. You don't hear about him with any women.
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: There was different. Ivanka Shank was rumored for a minute.
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: But I haven't heard anything lately. He's out there working,
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: you know?
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: I feel like Amrata is probably going to have to
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: walk next to him and just get like a page
- 1:21:35Speaker 2: six article. She's died down.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: She's died down a little bit.
- 1:21:38Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: I mean, she's still out there. Still at the Vanity
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: Fair party.
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: Still dating people.
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: Boobs out.
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: Her and Julia Fox.
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: Julia Fox.
- 1:21:46Speaker 2: I'm always like, what are the two of them doing
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: besides just showing up and getting photographs? Good for them.
- 1:21:50Speaker 2: We're still talking about them.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: Somebody's.
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: You got to wear cellophane to a party, but yeah.
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: With like roots underneath it. She had like. At the
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: Vanity Fair party, she had like ivy.
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: No, she had a long wig covering the clitoris. Oh,
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: was that what it was?
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: Yes. I thought it was roots.
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: No, it was like her hair going like an Adam
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: and Eve kind of a look. Oh.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: Yeah. I thought it was tree roots.
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: I do imagine just like being invited to a party
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: and then being like, okay, hi. Hi, Juan. Can you
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: come over and bring your cellophane, your old wigs?
- 1:22:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:22:22Speaker 2: And I have to go wear this weird outfit. Otherwise,
- 1:22:25Speaker 2: there's no point in me going to this party.
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: Yeah. And that was all a spinoff.
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: I have nothing else going on.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, I didn't get invited to any of
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: the Oscars.
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: I didn't go to anything.
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: No. Nothing.
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: No jealousy at all.
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: No, not anymore. Parties?
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: Late night? I remember, and I think maybe you did
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: it with me once. Once or twice, E had an
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: after party.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: Party.
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: So we would watch the Oscars and then sit and
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: then rip on it.
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: I just talked about it with Brad. On Oscar night,
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: Brad and I were texting back for Brad Wallach, for
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: those of you who don't know. We were texting back
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: and forth about it because I had forgotten all about it.
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: I did it twice, I think.
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: We did it together. It was me, you, Sarah Colonna,
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: Brad Wallach. And remember, Brad had taken some pill or
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: something because he had a bad back.
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: Brad was like, what are these people on a plane?
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. And it hit right when they were like,
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: and action live.
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: And I remember one of them was the worst Oscars ever.
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: It was the Anne Hathaway.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: And- James Franco.
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: Franco night where he like came out as Marilyn Monroe.
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: It was just torturous.
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: And we couldn't get any celebrities because they're all like
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: going to the parties who were just like yelling at
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: people from afar. No, no, no.
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: Then we sat down after and like ripped on it.
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: Yeah. And- And I remember Jason Kennedy sat down with
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: us for a minute, nice guy, sweetheart of a guy.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: It was actually like a real e-host. And he was
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: just like, what is– because we all had been drinking
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: for quite some time. And he was like, what is
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: going on here?
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: Wait, I have something amazing to tell you. So I
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: remember during that time, I had like a pretty decent
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: management team that acted all excited like I was going
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: to be the next Ellen, right? Well, I'm like– oh,
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: someone else has said, I'm so sick of hearing about
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: Chelsea Lately. Well, sorry, it was eight years of my
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: adult working life. I also talk about USC, my childhood,
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: and my parents. So, sorry.
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: The only reason- Stories.
- 1:24:17Speaker 2: It's stories, and I'm with Chris, and they're stories.
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: I don't know if you're anything like me, but- Yeah.
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: People say the same thing to me. They're like, enough
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: with the Chelsea Laces. And the only reason, I know,
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: I get it. But the only reason is because it's
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: the last time I was around people. You know what
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: I mean? I haven't had a real job. You, same thing.
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: We do this, but this is a very solitary lifestyle.
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: There were 200 people on that show. We were constantly
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: with them. So I don't know. It's my last memory
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: of social interaction.
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: So anyway, this manager. So we do one of those
- 1:24:53Speaker 2: things or whatever. And then they go. And there was
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: also like a pre one that I did with like
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: Lonnie Love. Like I'd be there at like 12 o'clock.
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: It was Oscars, Emmys, whatever that shit was. He was
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: the only place doing red carpets. Yeah. And so they
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: were like, oh, they're offering you a contract for the next, whatever,
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: four years of these things to do this. And you know,
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: the money was never good. It was like, whatever, $ 600.
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: you know, but they want to like nail you for it.
- 1:25:23Speaker 2: And I was like, okay, great. And then my manager
- 1:25:25Speaker 2: was like, no, I mean, you could be doing this
- 1:25:28Speaker 2: with Mario Lopez one day. If you sign this, then
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: we can't, you know, pitch you to like Access Hollywood
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: and all this stuff. So I remember I went to
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: a party. I can't believe I'm telling this. Like, this
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: is an embarrassment, but this is why when people get
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: management and stuff, they have to just also be like,
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: Hold on. Is this– like who– I don't remember my
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: manager's name. Like they were– no one had seen.
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: Me neither.
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: And it doesn't matter because none of this would have–
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: it wouldn't have lasted past Chelsea Lately anyway because we
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: were all banned from E!
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: After that.
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: But whatever. And the guy is like, wait, why aren't
- 1:26:02Speaker 2: you signing the contract? And I'm like, well, I don't know.
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: I mean like what if there's a– I think I
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: need more money because like what if like Mario wants it.
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: Mario Lopez comes calling.
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: Yeah. And then– And then he's like, well, Kelly Osbourne
- 1:26:20Speaker 2: signed it. And I go, they got a couple drinks in.
- 1:26:24Speaker 2: And I go, I'm not Kelly Osbourne. I'm Heather fucking McDonald.
- 1:26:29Speaker 4: Oh, oh.
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: Well, look at you now.
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: Look at me now. Well, I've never been asked back
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: to eat. Yeah. Well, they asked me back one time,
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: and then they realized I had been banned. And then
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: they said, you can't come for your two other days.
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: Oh, I remember.
- 1:26:42Speaker 2: Nightly pop or whatever.
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: Yeah, but look, all this shit's gone. Oh, it doesn't matter.
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: It all doesn't matter. But I was like— And you're
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: down at.
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: Your sorority talking to young kids about Korea.
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: And I did. And when I did my little speech—
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: I said, you know what? I watched the SNL 50
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: and I told my story of how I was supposed
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: to audition and my pilot got picked up for MTV
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: and then I was supposed to go back. And at
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: that point, I had little kids and I didn't. And
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: I watched that, parts of it, and there wasn't one
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: ounce of me that's like, wow, what would my life
- 1:27:13Speaker 2: have been like had I done that at 28 years
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: old or whatever. Yeah. So yeah, it all, like it
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: all works out. You just don't know.
- 1:27:22Speaker 4: And then you have a funny story to tell where
- 1:27:25Speaker 4: I was a cocky asshole that was, but it was
- 1:27:28Speaker 4: because this manager that then of course, like, was, you know,
- 1:27:31Speaker 4: a couple years later.
- 1:27:32Speaker 2: I don't even remember their name and I never heard
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: from them again.
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I've had a couple. Oh, I mean, what a nightmare.
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: Just the things you go through. And now the business
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: has changed so much that you've landed on your feet
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: on your own. You don't know. You're on the Daily
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: Pop still. I mean, where are those people now?
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: Wow. Well, that's exciting, Chris.
- 1:27:53Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: Let's talk about like, you know, after being so sugar-coated.
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: Oh, I couldn't believe what she wore, you know, like, oh,
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: shut up.
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: I actually liked the color.
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: You know, this is a, it's more of a mustard.
- 1:28:06Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: It's more of a gray poupon. Oh, shut up, you
- 1:28:08Speaker 2: silly goose. Anyway, Chris. The worst. Love you.
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 1:28:14Speaker 2: Cover to cover.
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: Cover to cover is a podcast I do. Everyone loves it.
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: Everyone loves it.
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: They do.
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: America loves it.
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: Tell everybody where they can see you live all across
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: the country.
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: You can see me in Detroit this weekend. Detroit, House
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: of Comedy in Detroit, Friday and Saturday. And then, of course,
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: Houston on Sunday night. The Punchline in Houston. Franjola. I'll
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: be at the Ontario Improv right here in Los Angeles.
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: Lovely.
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: And March 20th, Ontario Improv. So many more. I got
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: Nashville Zanies coming up in May. I have Tampa Side Splitters,
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: Dania Beach Improv. So much more. Roseville Theater in Minneapolis
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: and on and on and on. Everything's on frangiola.fun.
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: And it is fun.

- 1:28:56Speaker 2: affixed in your neighborhood, you can also DM- You.
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: Had to see the thing. I mean, I'm going to
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: be a politician in my, in my neighborhood. Could you
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: imagine the things I'm going to have to go through to.
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: I often sometimes think about running for office.
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: Yeah. You don't, you don't need this trouble.
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: No.
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: That's what I've heard. People get into it and then
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: they'll realize they can't, you know.
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: I realized that when I was doing the school stuff
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: and I would be like having all these ideas of
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: how to make things better.
- 1:29:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: And I'm like, but you're not doing it. So shut
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: the fuck up.
- 1:29:26Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: Yeah. Unless you're going to go in there and get
- 1:29:28Speaker 2: your hands dirty. We don't want to hear why you
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: think marshmallow ghosts should be replaced with snowmen.
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: Like, we don't care, Heather. You know? And I was
- 1:29:39Speaker 2: just like, oh, you know what would be a better
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: snack as if I know how to make the snack.
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: Right. Anyway.
