- 0:22Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:26Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley, along with
- 0:30Speaker 1: Raj Sharma and Jerry called Well. Today is Fred Day,
- 0:37Speaker 1: July eighteenth, twenty twenty five. It makes me smile every
- 0:41Speaker 1: single week when I sing Friday, and it makes Raj
- 0:44Speaker 1: smile and laugh. That brings joy to my heart and
- 0:46Speaker 1: I hope it does to yours as well. Now for
- 0:52Speaker 1: the opposite of joy, A paranormal investigator known for bringing
- 0:57Speaker 1: the allegedly haunted doll Annabelle across the country as part
- 1:02Speaker 1: of a viral tour has died.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Oh boy Yeah.
- 1:09Speaker 1: The New England Society for Psychic Research, the organization behind
- 1:13Speaker 1: the tour, announced the sudden death of Dan Rivera in
- 1:18Speaker 1: a Facebook post on Monday, July fourteenth. I feel like
- 1:22Speaker 1: that wording could have been better. The New England Society
- 1:26Speaker 1: for Psychic Research, the organization behind the tour, announced the
- 1:29Speaker 1: sudden death of Dan Rivera in a Facebook post on Monday. Well,
- 1:33Speaker 1: Dan didn't die in a Facebook post on Monday, that's
- 1:36Speaker 1: when they made the announcement once again?
- 1:41Speaker 2: Or did he?
- 1:43Speaker 1: Words matter?
- 1:45Speaker 3: Now?
- 1:45Speaker 1: If Annabelle choked the life out of him during a
- 1:48Speaker 1: Facebook Live then I'd say that sentence can stand. Or
- 1:56Speaker 1: if this is just a really really smart way to
- 1:59Speaker 1: drum up tickets for the next stop on the tour,
- 2:03Speaker 1: well played, Although I don't know if that's going to
- 2:07Speaker 1: be the case here.
- 2:08Speaker 3: I mean, that's really committing to the bit.
- 2:10Speaker 1: It really really.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Is a messive heart attack.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Yeah, according to the Facebook post that he did not
- 2:19Speaker 1: die in, but it's where he made the announcement about
- 2:21Speaker 1: the death. The group said, it is with deep sadness
- 2:26Speaker 1: that Tony Wade and I shared the sudden passing of
- 2:29Speaker 1: our close friend and partner, Dan Rivera. We are heartbroken
- 2:33Speaker 1: and still processing this lass Well, what about Annabelle? What
- 2:38Speaker 1: does she feel about that?
- 2:39Speaker 4: Did you want to?
- 2:40Speaker 1: Asked her? Rivera, who was the lead investigator for the
- 2:45Speaker 1: NESPER and a US Army veteran thinking of your service,
- 2:49Speaker 1: died unexpectedly on Sunday, July thirteenth during his visit to Gettysburg.
- 2:54Speaker 1: That's according to the organization, the NESPER. They said, Dan
- 2:57Speaker 1: truly believed in sharing his experience and educating people on
- 3:01Speaker 1: the paranormal. His kindness and passion touched everyone who knew him.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Thank you for your support and kind thoughts during this
- 3:07Speaker 1: difficult time. The tour that he was a part of
- 3:10Speaker 1: the Devils on the Run tour had gone viral due
- 3:13Speaker 1: to him and other members bringing the Annabelle doll to
- 3:17Speaker 1: various states.
- 3:18Speaker 3: So what happened?
- 3:19Speaker 1: They did not disclose that, but Adams County Dispatch Adams
- 3:23Speaker 1: County Dispatch archives showed that local firefighters and medical personnel
- 3:29Speaker 1: were called to a hotel in Gettysburg on Sunday for
- 3:32Speaker 1: report of CPR in progress on a man who was.
- 3:35Speaker 5: The same age as the investigator. What are you laughing
- 3:39Speaker 5: at over there, Raj?
- 3:43Speaker 2: You were telling about this guy's death and Trey yawned.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Trey processes things differently than the rest of us humans.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Yeah, he just had a massive heart attign.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Look, that's the second big yawn of the week. The
- 4:00Speaker 1: first one was that guy on NBC's Today's Show while
- 4:02Speaker 1: having a conversation with Rick Springfield. You saw that and
- 4:09Speaker 1: Rick Springfield fires back at Craig Melvin. I'm sorry? Am
- 4:12Speaker 1: I boring you? And let me just say this in
- 4:17Speaker 1: defense of the Today Show anchor. He's been up for
- 4:21Speaker 1: a really long time.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Those morning show people wake up, The TV morning show
- 4:28Speaker 1: people wake up at like midnight one am, so they
- 4:32Speaker 1: can be on the air pretending to be alive and
- 4:35Speaker 1: enthusiastic that early. So I get why he might yawn. Yeah,
- 4:43Speaker 1: what's your excuse? I'm just bored.
- 4:54Speaker 4: Moving would be my excuse.
- 4:55Speaker 1: But that's good. That's what Craig Melvin should have said
- 4:58Speaker 1: to Rick Springfield. Doesn't hear the effort. I've been moving
- 5:01Speaker 1: all day. You're lucky I'm sitting here because once I
- 5:06Speaker 1: leave here, I got a bunch of empty boxes I
- 5:08Speaker 1: got to send to the to the Dan O'Malley Foundation
- 5:14Speaker 1: for Toilest Children. Sorry, Jerry, you may you may not
- 5:20Speaker 1: have heard this, but Trey and Rage been giving me
- 5:22Speaker 1: a hard time recently because I revealed to them that
- 5:26Speaker 1: as a child I played in empty boxes.
- 5:29Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I was that you were here for that.
- 5:30Speaker 5: That's okay, Well I also played in empty boxes. That's
- 5:34Speaker 5: the company I did not want to keep.

- 7:06Speaker 1: This is the tree House Show. I'm Dan, He's Trade.
- 7:09Speaker 1: That's Raj. There is Jerry. What were you asking me
- 7:13Speaker 1: about the Annabell Doll.
- 7:15Speaker 2: You did your research on the annabel Doll?
- 7:18Speaker 8: Right?
- 7:19Speaker 1: I have not done a whole lot of research into
- 7:21Speaker 1: the Annabelle Doll. All I really know is that she's
- 7:24Speaker 1: allegedly haunted. And this most recent story that some people
- 7:30Speaker 1: are linking paranormal investigator Dan Rivera's death to the doll
- 7:36Speaker 1: because he's been on tour with it. I would like
- 7:39Speaker 1: to point out that many people have also been on
- 7:41Speaker 1: tour with Ozzy Osbourne and they're not dead yet. Okay,
- 7:48Speaker 1: I'm just saying you might be giving too much credit
- 7:50Speaker 1: to the doll.
- 7:53Speaker 5: So you're tak an allegedly haunted doll to one of
- 7:55Speaker 5: the most haunted places in the entire country. So you're
- 8:01Speaker 5: saying he had a common I'm saying, if there was
- 8:05Speaker 5: a better situation for that to happen, I'd like to
- 8:07Speaker 5: hear it.
- 8:11Speaker 10: I'm just I mean, he showed up with the doll
- 8:16Speaker 10: in the place and the thing, and and then he.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Made Now when they're when when you say one of
- 8:22Speaker 1: the most haunted places on earth Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, do you
- 8:28Speaker 1: mean that because of the Civil War battle? Or is
- 8:32Speaker 1: there some other place in Gettysburg that is considered haunted
- 8:35Speaker 1: for separate reasons or is that enough? I mean it is,
- 8:39Speaker 1: but is that what it is?
- 8:41Speaker 2: I mean, it's it's the most lives lost in the war.
- 8:46Speaker 1: So yeah, Well, I didn't know if there was like
- 8:49Speaker 1: some freaking insane asylum or or doll making factory that
- 8:53Speaker 1: overlooks the battlefield.
- 8:56Speaker 2: I'm just I'm just get know for its doll making factory.
- 9:03Speaker 11: I just thought it's my name, Annabelle. She was gonna
- 9:05Speaker 11: be pro slavery and you know everything.
- 9:07Speaker 1: All Annabelle antebellum, uh huh.
- 9:15Speaker 2: I'll let you white guys discuss.
- 9:19Speaker 1: So the Gettysburg portion of this viral tour, where they
- 9:23Speaker 1: brought the Annabelle doll with them, posted by ghostly images
- 9:27Speaker 1: of Gettysburg tours at the Soldier's National Orphanage completely sold out.
- 9:32Speaker 1: That's according to organizers, who sold over twelve hundred tickets
- 9:35Speaker 1: across three days on the weekend of Friday, July eleventh.
- 9:38Speaker 1: The visit was expected to conclude on Sunday afternoon. Rivera,
- 9:43Speaker 1: the man who died, had helped the tour go viral
- 9:46Speaker 1: and garner international attention through his public outreach, including several
- 9:49Speaker 1: TikTok videos that he produced with fellow paranormal investigator Ryan
- 9:52Speaker 1: Daniel Buell. The last video posted on the Annabelle World
- 9:58Speaker 1: Tour TikTok page was on twenty seven, twenty five and
- 10:02Speaker 1: had over thirty eight thousand views. So what is Annabelle?
- 10:07Speaker 1: Here's my research for you. Raj, you're listening to my
- 10:11Speaker 1: research life. Annabelle is a doll that became popular following
- 10:15Speaker 1: the release of the twenty thirteen film The Conjuring. The
- 10:17Speaker 1: doll's origin goes back to the seventies, when a mom
- 10:20Speaker 1: gave her daughter, Donna, a twenty eight year old nursing student,
- 10:23Speaker 1: the toy she purchased from a hobby store. At some point,
- 10:26Speaker 1: Donna and her roommate and she purportedly noticed weird paranormal
- 10:30Speaker 1: activity occurring around the apartment, which began to escalate. The
- 10:34Speaker 1: legend behind the doll suggests that paranormal activity worsened and
- 10:38Speaker 1: that Annabelle was possessed by something demonic and inhuman. The
- 10:42Speaker 1: doll was eventually handed over to Ed and Lorraine Warren,
- 10:45Speaker 1: a couple famous for collecting paranormal objects and artifacts. Annabelle
- 10:49Speaker 1: was subsequently but display and the Warren's a cult museum,
- 10:51Speaker 1: which was located in Monroe, Connecticut. RIVERA. This is the
- 10:54Speaker 1: guy that died, said Lorraine Warren mentored him, and during
- 10:57Speaker 1: Saturday's event, he told attendees about the steps he takes
- 11:00Speaker 1: to protect them from the doll. I guess he forgot
- 11:02Speaker 1: about himself. M. H.
- 11:04Speaker 8: Whoops, there's still one.
- 11:08Speaker 4: There's still one thing. I'm just befuddled by m M.
- 11:13Speaker 4: Why was Rick Springfield on the Today Show?
- 11:24Speaker 2: Well done?

- 12:23Speaker 1: and that is Jerry called well. The other day, Trey
- 12:28Speaker 1: was outside the Treehouse traveling for his new day job.
- 12:33Speaker 1: So Jerry Tray was not on vacation. He was on
- 12:36Speaker 1: a work trip. And I'd like to point out that
- 12:38Speaker 1: for anyone that doesn't know Tray Tray on a train,
- 12:42Speaker 1: just saying Tray on a train should tell you that
- 12:45Speaker 1: in no part is going to be a vacation. The
- 12:47Speaker 1: alternate title was under siege three tray on a train.
- 12:54Speaker 11: Actually it the train trip was was incredibly pleasant.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Have you found your new favorite mode of transportation?
- 13:05Speaker 2: You know?
- 13:06Speaker 4: It's funny.
- 13:06Speaker 11: I had a friend of mine do a cross country
- 13:10Speaker 11: train trip and yeah, I can tell I can see
- 13:14Speaker 11: the enjoyment of it.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Was that your first train ride.
- 13:20Speaker 11: No, it was not my first train ride, but my
- 13:22Speaker 11: first train ride in many, many years.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Because you had a girlfriend that used to go thank
- 13:32Speaker 1: you so much, or perhaps you were the train and
- 13:41Speaker 1: so you never got a chance to ride.
- 13:44Speaker 2: I mean someone wouldn't you choo.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Difference is trains, train knows how to stay on them tracks.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm with you.
- 13:56Speaker 1: I love taking the train. Tara and I have done
- 13:59Speaker 1: it a couple of times when we've gone to the
- 14:01Speaker 1: Pacific Northwest. I think I've told you guys this before.
- 14:05Speaker 1: There's a train you can take from Seattle to Levenworth, Washington,
- 14:10Speaker 1: which is very different than Levenworth, Kansas. Levenworth, Kansas is
- 14:14Speaker 1: a federal prison town. Levenworth, Washington is built to look
- 14:20Speaker 1: like an Austrian mountain town, very different setting and it's
- 14:24Speaker 1: also known as Christmas year round. So anyway, the train
- 14:27Speaker 1: ride there is beautiful because you go straight north from
- 14:30Speaker 1: Seattle out into like it feels like you're actually on
- 14:34Speaker 1: a train in the water basically, like you're gliding on
- 14:37Speaker 1: one part and you there's seals and bald eagles. It's
- 14:40Speaker 1: beautiful and then you make a hard right turn and
- 14:42Speaker 1: you go through the mountains. And Trey, I saw the
- 14:44Speaker 1: video you posted in New Mexico that looked beautiful as well.
- 14:48Speaker 4: It was. It was.
- 14:50Speaker 11: It was just really relaxing and and the other thing
- 14:55Speaker 11: was it was like nine bucks to ride, but it's
- 14:59Speaker 11: just cheap as hell.
- 15:01Speaker 4: I don't think you have driven for that amount.
- 15:04Speaker 1: So no, I mean, yeah, it takes a little bit longer,
- 15:06Speaker 1: but it really is. If you have the additional time
- 15:09Speaker 1: to spare, it's worth it.
- 15:19Speaker 4: Say it again, Trey, I said, they're trains in INDIAAG.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Yeah, but they ride them differently than we do.
- 15:27Speaker 2: It's a whites only. Uh. I just love watching you
- 15:35Speaker 2: guys talk about this train ride.
- 15:38Speaker 10: It's the sweetest thing I've seen white people do.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Have you been on a North American train?
- 15:47Speaker 2: No, then shut up?
- 15:50Speaker 1: It is beautiful. Take take a North American train ride.
- 15:54Speaker 1: You were going to love it? Yeah, yeah, it's it
- 15:58Speaker 1: really is like I mean, take a train ride from
- 16:01Speaker 1: someplace to another place that might have some sights, Like
- 16:05Speaker 1: I wouldn't recommend a train ride, you know, from like
- 16:08Speaker 1: downtown LA to South Central You'll see some stuff, but
- 16:11Speaker 1: it's not going to have the same scenic views that I,
- 16:15Speaker 1: tray are accustomed to on train rides. Our friends. We
- 16:19Speaker 1: have friends that took the train from Washington, d C.
- 16:22Speaker 1: To New York and they stopped at little coastal towns
- 16:26Speaker 1: along the way and absolutely loved it.
- 16:29Speaker 2: What r it sounds? It sounds delightful.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Maybe if you had taken some of your exes on
- 16:36Speaker 1: a train, you might still be together.
- 16:39Speaker 2: No, I'd be in prison.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Are you opposed to trains? Why are you looking at
- 16:47Speaker 1: us like this?
- 16:48Speaker 2: I you know, I would rather fly.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Why you prefer to sit nearly in the lapse of
- 17:01Speaker 1: your fellow passengers.
- 17:03Speaker 2: I don't know what it is. I don't trust the train.
- 17:09Speaker 2: They derail all the time.
- 17:10Speaker 1: They used to, They used to, they used to.
- 17:14Speaker 2: They don't know.
- 17:15Speaker 1: It really did feel like like in the eighties and nineties,
- 17:17Speaker 1: it really did feel like they were just popping off
- 17:19Speaker 1: the tracks left and right. But they've fixed a lot
- 17:21Speaker 1: of that.
- 17:23Speaker 11: Yeah yeah, amtrack, amtrack went private. Things our government couldn't do.
- 17:37Speaker 1: This is why I love Tray, some things the government
- 17:42Speaker 1: is not cut out to do.

- 18:35Speaker 8: Today.
- 18:36Speaker 1: This is the Treehouse Show. I'm Dan, He's trade. There's Raj.
- 18:39Speaker 1: That is Jerry. Oh. Since today is Friday. No spoilers
- 18:46Speaker 1: by the way, but uh, there has been a lot
- 18:49Speaker 1: of interest in the new Superman movie. So much so,
- 18:53Speaker 1: not just in discussion about the movie. It's plot points,
- 18:56Speaker 1: the characters, whether or not it's better, and the Snyder snoop.
- 19:02Speaker 1: The snipe almost said the Snyder snooperman. If you really
- 19:07Speaker 1: wanted to insult the Snyder bros. I guess you could
- 19:09Speaker 1: call it the Snooperman but the Gun Superman movie that's
- 19:14Speaker 1: out now versus the Snyder Superman movie. But one unexpected
- 19:19Speaker 1: huge benefit attributed to the new Superman movie is a
- 19:24Speaker 1: five hundred and thirteen percent increase in dog adoption searches.
- 19:29Speaker 3: Bravo.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Yeah, since the release of Superman, there's been a five
- 19:34Speaker 1: hundred and thirteen percent increase in Google search is for
- 19:37Speaker 1: adopted dog near me, and director James Gunn says this
- 19:41Speaker 1: film has been a barrage of blessings for me. This
- 19:43Speaker 1: one may be the greatest part of the reason why.
- 19:47Speaker 1: In case you're completely living under a rock made out
- 19:51Speaker 1: of kryptonite, the reason why this interest in dog adoptions
- 19:55Speaker 1: is because Crypto, Superman's dog in the movie, is sort
- 20:02Speaker 1: of a mutt type dog, and he even says in
- 20:05Speaker 1: the film it's more of a foster situation. But Crypto
- 20:08Speaker 1: has a huge role in the movie. Therefore people are
- 20:11Speaker 1: more interested in dogs. The irrony here is that Crypto
- 20:15Speaker 1: in the movie is horrifically ill behaved.
- 20:20Speaker 5: I thought you were going to mention the fact that
- 20:22Speaker 5: he's named after the one thing that Superman is allergically.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Yes, it really is. It really is a constant bludgeoning
- 20:31Speaker 1: against Superman that all these things are named after the
- 20:34Speaker 1: thing that he cannot stand.
- 20:36Speaker 5: And also, why is it not a cryptocurrency yet? I mean,
- 20:40Speaker 5: it's right there.
- 20:41Speaker 1: I know you're right, except that would be with a
- 20:43Speaker 1: K as opposed to our version with a C. You're right,
- 20:46Speaker 1: the cryptocurrency from krypton.
- 20:51Speaker 3: It makes sense.
- 20:51Speaker 1: I'm with you now now that we've mentioned that. So
- 20:54Speaker 1: five hundred and thirteen percent increase in Google searches about
- 20:58Speaker 1: dog adoption from the new movie, the New Superman movie.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Has anyone have any of you inside the Treehouse besides
- 21:04Speaker 1: me seen the New Superman movie?
- 21:07Speaker 3: No, sir, Jerry, I.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Thought you would have by now.
- 21:11Speaker 5: Just not a big I'm just I'm not a fan
- 21:13Speaker 5: of the big Blue Boy Scout, and that's what this
- 21:15Speaker 5: version is. It's very much comic accurate from everything I've read.
- 21:18Speaker 5: Because again, I didn't grow up reading comic books. I
- 21:21Speaker 5: grew up watching movies so bad ones.
- 21:33Speaker 2: I was waiting for someone to.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Say it, technically that is true. But the movies I've
- 21:39Speaker 1: seen have not all been bad. I have seen many,
- 21:42Speaker 1: many movies, and many of them.
- 21:43Speaker 3: Happen to be bad.
- 21:45Speaker 1: That's what happens when you take in a lot of
- 21:48Speaker 1: movies you have an interest in it, You're gonna you're
- 21:51Speaker 1: gonna see some clunkers, There's no doubt. But I remember
- 21:56Speaker 1: watching a little bit of the The TV Show with
- 22:00Speaker 1: George Reeves or George Reeve, I think as as Superman,
- 22:04Speaker 1: the old black and white version my Superman, though my
- 22:06Speaker 1: first Superman was Christopher Reeve in those Superman movies. This
- 22:14Speaker 1: one feels like that, so I enjoyed it. Trey, have
- 22:17Speaker 1: you seen the new one? No, Raj, I'm assuming you haven't.
- 22:22Speaker 1: You're you're strictly a Bollywood Superman fan.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, one's more.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Entertaining for different reasons. Yes, that is a bad movie.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Then you'll watch it so we can.
- 22:42Speaker 1: And if I do, it's your fault because you're the
- 22:43Speaker 1: one that keeps showing me clips of of Hollywood Superman.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Which when when was that made? Please tell me the seventies,
- 22:50Speaker 1: because if you say like the late nineties, I'm going
- 22:52Speaker 1: to be very shocked.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Nineteen eighty six.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Seriously, Okay, uh huh. The Bollywood Superman movie that we
- 23:00Speaker 1: occasionally see from Instagram that will post or that you'll post,
- 23:05Speaker 1: or that you'll see at the beginning of this Superman
- 23:09Speaker 1: movie when you go to Alamo draft House, because I
- 23:11Speaker 1: tell you don't want to show it. Yes, that was
- 23:14Speaker 1: nineteen eighty six.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Yes, my god, I know both the actors. That's the
- 23:20Speaker 2: sad part.
- 23:22Speaker 1: You know Superman and Lois from the Bollywood Superman movie.
- 23:25Speaker 10: Well Spider Man Spider Woman. Uh and yes, I know
- 23:30Speaker 10: both the actors, which is very sad.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Look that gives you a great example that that Bollywood
- 23:37Speaker 1: can get away with things that Hollywood simply cannot, like
- 23:41Speaker 1: having a Superman movie that co stars Spider Man and
- 23:45Speaker 1: Spider Girl.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean it's a mashup you didn't know you needed.
- 23:49Speaker 1: It's also illegal in this country due to copyright law,
- 23:56Speaker 1: and India just don't care.
- 23:58Speaker 2: I have both costumes.
- 24:03Speaker 11: And the sad thing BALI was looking at us going
- 24:05Speaker 11: and you got away with American ninja.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Yeah, they got us by their cajones on that one.
- 24:15Speaker 8: You're in the treehouse.
- 24:17Speaker 9: Visit us online at Treehouse OnAir dot com. You're in
- 24:32Speaker 9: the treehouse, Visit us online at Treehouse on air dot com.
- 24:39Speaker 1: It is time to advertise right here inside the Treehouse.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Sponsorship opportunities are available if you're interested to shoot us
- 24:46Speaker 1: an email Treehouse on Air at gmail dot com. That's
- 24:49Speaker 1: Treehouse on Air at gmail dot com. To advertise right
- 24:53Speaker 1: here inside the Treehouse. This is the Treehouse show. I'm
- 24:57Speaker 1: Danny's trade. There's rash that's Jerry Today. It is for
- 25:01Speaker 1: day July eighteenth, twenty twenty five. Let's celebrate with some birthdays.
- 25:11Speaker 1: She plays Judy Robinson on the Netflix Lost in Space remake.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Taylor Russell is thirty one. Still have not seen that,
- 25:19Speaker 1: but I heard good things.
- 25:21Speaker 3: It's so good?
- 25:22Speaker 8: Is it okay?
- 25:23Speaker 3: It's real good.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Chase Crawford, Dallas's own Chase Crawford turns forty today. He
- 25:30Speaker 1: is best known as Nate on gossip Girl. Actually I
- 25:33Speaker 1: take that back. He used to be best known as
- 25:36Speaker 1: Nate on gossip Girl. Now he is absolutely best known
- 25:40Speaker 1: as the Deep on the Amazon Prime show The Boys.
- 25:45Speaker 1: I say this every time we talk about a birthday
- 25:49Speaker 1: from someone from that show. If you do not or
- 25:53Speaker 1: have not seen at least one episode of the Boys,
- 25:57Speaker 1: you need to do it, especially if you are in
- 26:00Speaker 1: any way interested in the superhero genre, because you know
- 26:04Speaker 1: how film critics will say, oh, this really puts the
- 26:09Speaker 1: blah blah blah genre on its ear. This one puts
- 26:13Speaker 1: the superhero genre on.
- 26:15Speaker 8: Its p hole.
- 26:18Speaker 2: Okay, I mean it.
- 26:22Speaker 1: While not everyone in here has seen the New Superman movie,
- 26:25Speaker 1: has everyone in here seen at least one episode of
- 26:28Speaker 1: The Boys?
- 26:29Speaker 3: Every episode? Yeah?
- 26:31Speaker 1: Yeah, me, Trey, Jerry, all three seen every episode? Raj
- 26:34Speaker 1: Have you seen all of them?
- 26:36Speaker 2: And I know Chase?
- 26:38Speaker 1: Oh is is his dad? Your dermatologist also.
- 26:45Speaker 2: One of them? But I know Chase? Yeah?
- 26:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Doctor Crawford is a well well well regarded, well well known,
- 26:56Speaker 1: renowned dermatologist in Dallas, and he gave us Chase Crawford.
- 27:02Speaker 1: He's now known as the Deep And I wonder if
- 27:04Speaker 1: it's interesting as a family. Do the Crawfords watch Chase
- 27:13Speaker 1: molest an octopus or do they casually hit the skip
- 27:19Speaker 1: button during those scenes.
- 27:22Speaker 12: It's so I'm so glad that you said that, because
- 27:25Speaker 12: when I saw it, I was like, oh, Chase, no,
- 27:30Speaker 12: and his family has to watch that so.
- 27:33Speaker 1: They don't have to.
- 27:36Speaker 10: Yeah, when the check clears, Not that that family needed it,
- 27:42Speaker 10: but yeah, I know.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Maybe that's at the point where doctor Dad Crawford tells Chase,
- 27:49Speaker 1: like you realize you didn't have to take this. Yeah,
- 27:55Speaker 1: I got plenty, I got plenty of skin doctor money here.
- 27:58Speaker 11: I think his I think his brother longuess, Yeah, I
- 28:01Speaker 11: would have.
- 28:06Speaker 1: You really think Tony Romo would be in the Linden business.
- 28:12Speaker 2: He's doing sketchers endorsements.
- 28:15Speaker 1: That does it? Does it? Does?
- 28:17Speaker 2: It?
- 28:17Speaker 1: Does propose an interesting scenario like when they're at Thanksgiving
- 28:21Speaker 1: and Tony's on one side of the table. You got
- 28:24Speaker 1: Tony Roma on one side of the table next to
- 28:26Speaker 1: his wife, whose brother is Chase Crawford from Boys. Does
- 28:32Speaker 1: Tony tell him like, Dude, I can get you a
- 28:33Speaker 1: sketcher's endorsement. You don't have to be screwing OCTOPI on TV.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Who turns to the other and is like, I got
- 28:41Speaker 2: a better agent.
- 28:48Speaker 1: You know what? Maybe this this is an interesting point
- 28:51Speaker 1: to make here. Okay, you can now choose for yourself.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Would you rather play The Deep and Amazon's The Boys,
- 29:06Speaker 1: which means you have to molest an octopus in more
- 29:09Speaker 1: than one scene, or would you rather have a sketcher's endorsement?
- 29:15Speaker 3: Shut up and past the calamari.
- 29:20Speaker 1: I'm with Jerry. I'll lef that fish. I do not
- 29:26Speaker 1: want to be linked to old man shoes.
- 29:31Speaker 2: I'm Indian. We always play the deep.
- 29:35Speaker 1: I mean, don't get me wrong, sketchers are comfortable. I
- 29:40Speaker 1: own a pair, But I bet that octopus doesn't feel
- 29:43Speaker 1: half bad.
- 29:47Speaker 3: Just watch out for the beak.
- 29:52Speaker 4: Thing about Candace.
- 30:02Speaker 8: You are in good free House.
- 30:04Speaker 9: Visit us online at Treehouse on Air dot com.
- 30:20Speaker 8: You're in the tree House.

- 30:36Speaker 13: Or tree House on Air dot com.
- 31:07Speaker 1: Thank you, Jerry for that outstanding performance inside the Treehouse.
- 31:11Speaker 1: We appreciate you for that. Every single week, something else
- 31:16Speaker 1: to appreciate and something else that's pretty darn hot right now.
- 31:19Speaker 1: And I'm hoping, beyond hope that this is something you
- 31:22Speaker 1: guys have not seen yet. If you have, just hold
- 31:26Speaker 1: your breath until the others get to experience it for
- 31:29Speaker 1: the first time. I'm going to share with you now
- 31:33Speaker 1: a majestic paraglide over a beautiful river in America.
- 31:44Speaker 6: Until whoa, oh.
- 31:47Speaker 2: No, oh, geez.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Oh man, oh yes, the paraglider. It's so good on
- 32:01Speaker 1: a majestic sweep downriver. Uh huh somehow didn't see the
- 32:07Speaker 1: power lines in his way, did not look This is
- 32:14Speaker 1: why the FAA requires you to file flight plans when
- 32:20Speaker 1: you do things. But I don't think the FAA oversees
- 32:25Speaker 1: home paragliding. So the paraglider thing, that's where it's like,
- 32:28Speaker 1: it's the golf cart meets a fan boat and you
- 32:32Speaker 1: have to fly around. Well, this version has the parachute
- 32:35Speaker 1: over the top of it, so that's the whole paraglide thing.
- 32:39Speaker 1: It's it really is beautiful. It's even at sunset as
- 32:43Speaker 1: this guy is going down the river, and maybe that
- 32:46Speaker 1: was the reason why he couldn't see the power lines.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Maybe the sunset was in his eyes. Let's examine further.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Who oh geez.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Then the paraglider goes straight down into the water.
- 33:09Speaker 2: And fittingly, someone said, oh geez.
- 33:12Speaker 1: Yeah, apparently Superman was recording the Big Blue.
- 33:20Speaker 10: The whitest response to somebody getting into the line.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Oh geez, oh geez. Oh no.
- 33:30Speaker 1: Now there's a second part of this that I absolutely love. Okay,
- 33:35Speaker 1: so I'm gonna replay the whole thing because I just
- 33:36Speaker 1: enjoy seeing a grown man fly himself into power lines.
- 33:39Speaker 1: And then the second part that I that I absolutely
- 33:41Speaker 1: love coming up.
- 33:50Speaker 2: Whoah no, oh geez.
- 33:54Speaker 1: So there The caption across the screen started out saying,
- 33:58Speaker 1: paraglider hits power line over North Dakota River. It's the
- 34:04Speaker 1: second caption that has me in stitches when emergency crews
- 34:08Speaker 1: show up to fish this guy out of the river,
- 34:12Speaker 1: and that caption reads the Grand Forks Fired Department says
- 34:15Speaker 1: the man was found and helped to shore, but was uninjured.
- 34:20Speaker 1: It makes it sound like the news report is upset
- 34:23Speaker 1: that he was not injured. That is where you're supposed
- 34:27Speaker 1: to use the word and not but.
- 34:32Speaker 2: Oh geez.
- 34:35Speaker 1: So here in lines the difference. The Grand Forks Fired
- 34:37Speaker 1: Department says the man was found and helped to shore,
- 34:40Speaker 1: but was uninjured. Jerk, what it should have said was
- 34:45Speaker 1: was found and helped to shore and was uninjured. When
- 34:49Speaker 1: you throw that butt, and it really makes it sound
- 34:51Speaker 1: like the reporter's disappointed that this man was not hurt more.
- 34:53Speaker 4: Severely, Raj, did you caption this yep.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Raj's version is the Grand Forges Fire Department says the
- 35:04Speaker 1: white man was found correct and help and helped to shore.
- 35:10Speaker 10: But my caption was just whites being white. We all
- 35:16Speaker 10: saw the power line right. Yes, yes, everyone was panning
- 35:20Speaker 10: that camera around that. We're trying to get that beautiful
- 35:23Speaker 10: shot heading off into the sunset.
- 35:25Speaker 2: And no one moved.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Right there, there's the power lines.
- 35:34Speaker 3: That is the moment he knew he had fed up.
- 35:39Speaker 1: I'm surprised you can't heard the man. I'm surprised you
- 35:41Speaker 1: can't hear the man flying this paraglider screaming O S
- 35:44Speaker 1: at the top of his loss. Did he ever see them?
- 35:49Speaker 4: And that's the point. That's the point where Braxton needed
- 35:53Speaker 4: to get his eyes checked.
- 36:05Speaker 2: Braxton.
- 36:08Speaker 1: It's like a Dukes of Hazard voiceover. That's the point
- 36:11Speaker 1: where Braxton is Joe Oh, the Braxton Boys. For all
