- Alex: All right. Welcome back, boys. appreciate y'all being a little flexible with me here. We have a last minute scheduling change. My my son's ⁓ Little League All-Star team is playing tonight, and the coach texted me on my way home. And ⁓ I was like, Hey Grayson, you wanna go to this? He didn't make the team, but he still wants to go support ⁓ and I think that's awesome. So I ⁓ appreciate y'all scrambling with me here and sticking to it. ⁓ and we are accommodating Jason here because he's about to be out for a few weeks on us, taking some time off. We're gonna make him do a podcast from Italy, I think. I think that's a requirement. Jason: Yep. Yeah, it'd be seven hours, eight, seven, think it's seven hours difference. Alex: Yeah, that's fine. That's fine. We'll make it work. Marcus: We just need a wine drunk podcast. We'll make yeah, we'll make it work. Jason: ⁓ boy. Alex: That'd be great. ⁓ so I think I think we're gonna recap a little bit of what y'all talked about last week since I was obviously not on it with my internet issues. we're gonna talk a little US Open here. ⁓ what else did we have on the agenda? I already forgot after we just talked about like 30 seconds ago. But let's get into ⁓ into what y'all talked about last week when I was talking about kind of pushing kids. We can wrap that, put a bow on it with ⁓ some of my opinions here. ⁓ Appreciated y'all y'all talking through that and had some great insights. ⁓ and I think, you know, the the hard part is when a kid just like loses the love. Cause even I've been talking to one of the other dads and we've still been having the same conversation and the kid absolutely loves ⁓ baseball. What what part did I cut out on? I didn't even I can't even tell that I cut out until like y'all come back on my screen. It just looks like y'all listening. Jason: We had some great insight on that. Marcus: Yeah. Jason: It just is a great insight, finishing up what we were talking about, ⁓ and then you baseball, and then that was it. Marcus: And then baseball. Alex: ⁓ Yeah, no, I was just I was just saying, ⁓ I I appreciated the insight. And for me, it's wondering when like you push a kid and make them power through, ⁓ and not like give up just because they're having a r a rough year or they're not playing the role or you know it's the right sport for them. ⁓ and when sometimes it's just not the right sport for them. I think all kids can be athletic and make any any kind of sport work to some extent. Some kids are obviously gonna excel at some. Marcus: Mm-hmm. Alex: So ⁓ no I appreciate it. It it's it's tough 'cause I think a lot of us dads are in the same boat right now. Marcus: kinda gave that example too of like when to you know, 'cause I had that coach when I was little ⁓ of you know, when when it's a good fit or, you know, just based on positions too, which you know, how d how do parents deal with that? So Alex: ⁓ Yeah, and it's when they're not performing, it's tough. Like you go through a baseball slump, you go through ⁓ you know, a a drought. If you're a forward in soccer and you're not scoring, you go through a drought and sometimes you tie love of the game to success of the game, and I think that's what makes it really tough at times. ⁓ I think it's just hard to balance that. F it's hard for any of us to balance that. I mean, we've talked about that here on on golfing too, like Marcus: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Alex: I think me taking as much of a step back as I have over the past year because of some of the other business endeavors has been some of the best ⁓ for my game that I could have expected. Even though I've barely touched my clubs, it's when I've touched them, I've played well. Like I've it it's just been I don't tie my happiness to success on the course like I used to. Marcus: Mm-hmm. Jason: Yeah, that's, ⁓ that's part of just growth and maturity, just understanding and accepting kind of where you're at, your position, your time, right? Your was it your Q round qualifying, all those tournaments have kind of taken a backseat and you're okay with it. You've accepted it. I don't know if you want to say you come with peace with it because it still may be a goal, but you've just readjusted your priorities. Alex: Mm-hmm. Yeah, I don't know where I land on it. ⁓ so Colin and I have started doing this workout. And I say started, we're literally on week two when he s no showed me today, so I'm a little salty. We we had a we had a conversation about it already. but no, like we're we're meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week we just met Tuesday because we decided two days a week after Thursday. But Marcus: Hmm. Alex: So we met, you know, five o'clock in the morning. We get a thirty, forty five minute workout in, and then we get thirty, forty-five minutes worth of golf in, ⁓ or forty-five to an hour, right? And we're doing multiple things. One, obviously holding each other accountable to just working out. ⁓ and we're doing more, I'm gonna call it PT level workout stuff. We're not doing heavy lifting like Marcus does. It's kind of some of those more functional movements. ⁓ and then we do kind of try to do some skills challenges with each other, ⁓ work on some drills and practicing, and then we'll play nine holes of a three-club challenge or or nine holes of a short course or something like that. We're keeping score. throughout the rest of the year and loser has to pay for a golf round for the the winner. ⁓ right now he's up two and ⁓ on me, but I took today because he no no called no showed me. So I automatically win that as a forfeit. So we're it's two to one right now. but no it's even today when he wasn't there, I didn't have that drive when I started hitting balls. Like I was hitting balls and Marcus: Yeah. Alex: I then played nine holes, going on and I got to like hole twelve 'cause I was like, you know, I'm gonna keep going, I got a little of time. And I just my head wasn't there. Like it wasn't like I don't know, golf is like truly just a hangout for me now. Like if I'm doing it with someone, it's awesome. Like it we had a lot of fun last week, even though he was kicking my butt and everything we did. But this week when I'm sitting there by myself, I'm like, I really don't have the drive to like want to do this by myself. Like I just so I don't know. I I don't know where my golf journey is taking me right now. Marcus: Mm-hmm. Jason: That's funny. Yeah. It's like, I go through these ebbs and flows and like for me, it was one of those things where I've been solo through most of, like, if you can call it my golf career. So I've kind of used to that space a little bit, but you know, we started going out, uh, playing, doing IGP and it does definitely makes it more fun, but it is hard to kind of go back and forth. So it's like, tomorrow I'm getting out with Don, the neighbor, and he just said, Hey, do you want to get out? And I was like, sure. Cause it's been almost two months since I've played. We're going to be no. May it was May. So a month solid. ⁓ what's that tournament? But again, this is my first summer vacation. This is my first round and I've only been to the range once and I, it's like priorities and just, just going out to have a good time. Don't know what's going to happen, but again, yeah, just kind of where my priorities are right now. Alex: Yeah. Yeah, it's it's definitely interesting. I I don't know, 'cause I'm kind of with you. Like I when I was in between jobs, like I was playing by myself a lot or with randoms a lot where you're either walking by yourself, you're in a car by yourself, or this or that. And I just I don't know. And now it's like it's a social game to me. Jason: Yeah. I mean, even if we go back out, it's been so long, it's gonna be like, let's just hang out. Like, not even put a competition thread on it. I mean, we could do what you guys are doing in your training, which is probably still helping with some of your game is adding the constraints, you know, maybe try to do some different things, some different holes, just to make it more interesting, make it more fun. So you're not just cruising. Alex: Yeah. Mm-hmm. Yeah, and speak Yeah, ⁓ yeah, and go out with some intention, not just whatever. But I'll I'll tell you, ⁓ like I said, I've the last time I went out with Colin and it was kind of like I'll be shocked if I even break ninety-five type thing. ⁓ ended up shooting I think a 76, 77, something like that. Jason: I don't know where he's going to go with that, but we lost you. Marcus: Yeah. ⁓ Alex: ⁓ sorry. ⁓ no, I was just saying I ⁓ you gotta go out with a little bit of intention, but even that, like last time I went out with Colin, I d went out with zero intention. I was I was like, I I might not even break ninety. ⁓ and I ended up shooting what, a seventy six, seventy seven or something like that. And even today, like in the simulator, obviously you do auto two put stuff like that, but I was one over through twelve. When I decided to stop. Like I just my game, I just don't have any pressure on my game anymore. Jason: Got that relaxed mindset, which is good. Your body's becoming more automatic with the swing and swing changes, which does make it a lot easier. Marcus: Mm-hmm. Alex: Well yeah, it's I mean, I don't know if it's automatic. It's still ⁓ still a struggle. ⁓ speaking of ⁓ still in training, yeah. Speaking of Ben, ⁓ Ben and I were texting today 'cause we have just been trying to get on the same schedule and ⁓ it it's just you've you know what my schedule's been, so it's tough 'cause he was actually texting me. He was like, Hey, come t they have a league night tonight, a titleist one. And he was like, If you're coming solo, like I'll play with you. ⁓ Jason: It's still in training. Alex: And I was like, dude, I can't make that work. I got podcasts, we have lacrosse, and now we've this whole all-star thing. So I'm glad I didn't commit to that. ⁓ but I was like, well, let's get let's get together on Thursday. I'm taking the day off. you know, kids will be at VBS for the morning, so I'll have some sometime in the morning we can chat. So him and I actually get on a phone call at nine or nine fifteen to talk through some stuff. ⁓ as far as development because we've just we've been really struggling to to get with each other. But like I said, the the whole reason Colin and I started getting together on the workout side is because my back issues. ⁓ and Colin was like, well come in, let's work out together, let's figure out your back. and so far it's been good. So we'll see what Ben has to say on some of his stuff. ⁓ I I mean I do I do need to get back into it at some point. Jason: Yeah, it's one of those things where you are like, okay, I'm cool with it. But then that bug is going to bite at some point when you get out even one or two more times. And then all of a you're just going to be like, ⁓ I missed this. need to get out more. Alex: ⁓ yeah, yeah, I agree. And For me, it's like I've put so much work to get to where I am as far as the caliber of player. So I don't want to just like let that go away just because I have some other priorities. So I I need to get out and still practice and still maintain some semblance of that level of play because like you said, if I do get the itch, it's like I don't want to have to start over from scratch. Like if I if I go from a plus one to a three or four or whatever, but I don't want to go from a plus one to a ten because I don't touch my clubs. Jason: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah. And I go through my ways and I have the itch now because I want to work on the stuff that the few lessons I've had and just developing and I could feel my body and stuff getting in a better place with the swing. And so now I want, I've got that itch, but you know, my schedule now it's like, it seems like I want summer, but I've took on summer school, which is actually more involved than I thought it was going to be. And then, ⁓ for office hours and being available and then keeping up with all the stuff that they want. And then. you know, try to get all these weddings and other things edited and kind of in a good spot before we go on a break and get some R &R. Alex: Yeah, much deserved. ⁓ well and I wanna I wanna talk about that. But let's cover let's stick on golf. Let's cover US Open real quick. ⁓ for you know a few minutes here. ⁓ I'll be honest, I I haven't been able to mu watch much. We've ⁓ just work has been a nightmare, man. ⁓ my actual work. It's been it's been a pain. it's figuring some stuff. I was even texting Marcus the other day about some pricing stuff because I'm Getting yeah, we just have a lot going on. So i even at work, I've mean I've barely been able to follow ⁓ US Open and the little time that I do have, I've put the World Cup on instead. But I have I've seen the wind at Shinnecock. ⁓ I saw I saw Rory hitting it was like a six iron to a one seventy or one sixty pin ⁓ in a practice round, flighting it down. ⁓ so it's it's gonna be interesting. ⁓ I don't know who I have. Jason: Yeah. Alex: I I truly don't know who I think can step up and win 'cause I mean, last year we had what who was it last year? I wanna say it was ⁓ JJ Spawn. But Okay. Jason: Scott, ⁓ spawn one at last year, Scheffler needs it to be a career slam. Alex: Yeah. ⁓ Scheffler hasn't like I don't want to say he hasn't been on. We've talked about him. He he he hasn't been playing himself. He's still an amazing player and finishing in the top ten, but it hasn't been the dominant Scotty that we've seen in the in recent history. Marcus: I thought he would have. Yeah. Jason: Yeah. I mean, I Rory had his press conference and the wind was 2530 miles per hour. I mean, it's coastal. It's going to happen. And he was saying the step meter was 11 and a half to almost 12. Alex: Yeah, I saw some balls like rolling off the green because b due to the wind and how fast the greens are. They're so they're gonna have to probably soften the greens and slow them down a little bit just to let the ball hold. Marcus: Yeah. Jason: Yeah, they're gonna have to do something. know Shinnecock is very difficult. mean, Brooks won it in 18 was the last time I was there at a plus one. Alex: Well it's it's kind of ⁓ Chambers Bay esque, right? They dried out the course. They they dried out the course and ⁓ it was really windy and we saw what happened. The ball was rolling three hundred yards, it felt like. Like you couldn't it was it was tough for them to stop it. ⁓ that was a major complaint. I think that's actually because they dried it out and it was all Bermuda. I think they actually changed the turf there so that they could control it a little bit better after that ⁓ US Open. Jason: ⁓ okay. So really quick, yeah, the Brooks was plus one. The time before that was Ritif Goosen at negative four. Then in 95, Corey Pavin was even to win it. And then Raymond Floyd in 86 was negative one. So it's historically just gonna be a ridiculous course. Alex: So played there four times over the past whatever thirty years you just said and f and they're key they're cumulative five under between all those winners. That's yeah. Yeah. Jason: Something like that. I think this is number five or six. Yeah Marcus: Mm-hmm. Jason: Yeah. Marcus: Solid. Jason: Well, you have a plus one, so they're back to four. It's a cumulative four. Alex: Yeah, that's that that's crazy. ⁓ yeah, I don't I don't know. So what do we think the over-under is I mean, what's the betting odds right now on winner? It's gotta be sitting around one under to one over. Jason: I think so. I haven't looked that far into it. Marcus is usually good with those numbers, let him find that find the odds. Marcus: See Alex: Yeah, statistician. Come on. You're a resident gambler. You're supposed have all this dunk. I I need it I need to know who the favorite is. Marcus: Yeah. Jason: Just as a feel perspective, I think it's just gonna be somebody new. Someone who's just gonna find that groove and get it done. I don't think it's gonna be a big namer. Alex: You know, it feels like it I'm gonna say this. I know it has been a big name, or I mean we've had Shoffley's been in the mix, ⁓ Bryson, obviously, you know, we've we've had a lot of big namers win it, but it does feel like the US Open is the one that kind of has a random win it the most often because it's just who happens to be able to play well on that course that day and all a hundred and forty people that qualify to play in that tournament can meet that standard at some point. I mean, you're you're in the tournament for a reason. Marcus: Mm-hmm. Yep. Who Who do have as, you know, top top five odds right now, if you had to guess? Alex: ⁓ top five odds. I mean Rory and Scheffler are both gonna be in the top five for sure. ⁓ I almost think you gotta put Brooks up there. I know he's struggling, but because he has familiar familiarity and confidence on the course, he's probably close to the top five favorites. Okay. Marcus: Yep, one and two. He's he's top ten. I think he is ten, yeah. Jason: What about Rosie? Alex: ⁓ Marcus: Don't see him on here. Jason: Wow. Shofley? Where's Shofley? Where'd they put him? Marcus: Shafley is four. Alex: Please four okay, so we have Rory, Scheffler, Shoffley, JT. Marcus: Scotty Rory. Jason: No, I jt couldn't be up there. Marcus: ⁓ No, he's he's top fifteen, top twenty. Alex: ⁓ sorry, Speeth isn't gonna be up there. ⁓ Rom? No way Rom's up there. No. No. He has not been playing well. Marcus: Spaniard, make it easy on you. Yup this guy's. Jason: Wrong? I was gonna say wrong, I just, really didn't think he was. Marcus: Well, not a corner of Vegas. Jason: He's been the most. Yeah. He's the most successful live golfer, I think. Alex: Dude, but I think he's you can someone will, you know, shatter me in comments for saying this or clipping it, but I'm pretty positive he has missed the past like six cuts in a major. Or something like that. Rom is on like a missed cut streak for majors, if I remember correctly. Jason: Bryson is. Alex: ⁓ is it Bryson? No, because Bryson won the US Open. Jason: ⁓ the he's missed the cuts and all the major Alex: Has he missed it ever since the US ever since that win he's missed it? So he'd miss four now? Jason: He's missed this year. He's missed the Masters. He's missed the PGA. I think he missed the open last year. Alex: Did he did he miss the so we'd be on a three cut, three major cut? I don't What is Rom what does Rom finish in the past few majors? Jason: Did he even make it the... Marcus: So he's done tied for second, the PGA championship, ⁓ and tied for thirty-eight at the Masters. Alex: This year? So he's just not missing cuts, but tie for 38 is not great. I didn't realize he was tie for second at the PGA. I don't remember that. And I actually watched that. Jason: All right. Marcus: No. Yeah. Jason: So we got four of the top five right now. who's? Alex: ⁓ four of the top five. ⁓ where's the other one from? Not country, because I'm assuming it's an American. Jason: Ricky Feller. Did he even make it? I don't even know if he made it. Marcus: ⁓ no. Alex: I mean you got you got Fitzy, you got Tommy, ⁓ Jason: Tommy would be up there. He'd be in the top 10, I would think. No, Oberg wouldn't be. He's not solid. Marcus: Tommy's up there. Alex: Havland Oberg. No, he's been struggling. ⁓ Wyndham is on a hot streak. Jason: and he's won it in the past, but. Alex: And he has one in the past. Jason: Is more Akawa up there? Marcus: No. Jason: Okay. Like all the names. Alex: Young or old? Like new new age or old age. And when I say old, I'm saying like over thirty. Marcus: Yeah, surprisingly. I ⁓ Just give you a hint, it's young. He's young. Yeah. Sorry. Alex: Cameron Young. Yeah. ⁓ yeah, I could I could see that. He's a New York native. ⁓ he's probably played the course a decent amount. Jason: Yeah. What about what about ⁓ what's the young like got her up. Alex: Chris Goddard up. Marcus: It's like top fifteen, top twenty. Jason: Okay. Alex: Where is where's Alex Fitzpatrick? Marcus: He is ⁓ Matt Fitzpatrick is right after number six, who is so it's Scotty, Rory, John Rom, Shoffley, Cameron Young, ⁓ Tommy Fleetwood, and Matt Fitzpatrick. Or's who? Jason: Where's Hovland in the ⁓ Alex Fitzpatrick Alex: Where's Alex Fitzpatrick? Alex Fitzpatrick. Matt's brother. Did he qualify for the US Open? I thought he qualified for it. Cause he's been on a freaking he's been on a heater. Marcus: Alex. ⁓ Jason: He may not be up there. Marcus: ⁓ Jason: What? Did he win? He won a PGE. I thought you qualified by winning an event or is it? Alex: Yeah, you quali you should qualify by winning no, no, no, no, not for the US Open. You have to win a major to qualify for the US Open automatically. Jason: Well, I just thought winning the event would give him enough status. Marcus: I don't see ⁓ there he is. He's a hundred to one. I had to scroll down. Yep. Alex: Hundred to one. Not bad odds with how he's been playing, honestly. Jason: Where's Hovland in this? Hovland's got to be in the top 20. Marcus: Mm. Yep, top twenty. He's at fifty six to one. Alex: Interesting. So round out the top ten again, because you said Matt Fitzpatrick. So what's seven, eight, nine, ten? Marcus: Yeah. ⁓ s yeah. S Matt Fitzpatrick, ⁓ Ludwig, Brooks Kepka, and Bryson. Alex: Okay. I can get on board with all of that. Yeah. That all tracks. I mean, those are all people that we said, so ⁓ Jason: Hmm, interesting. Marcus: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Jason: But it is interesting that they even put Bryce and Brooks in the top 10. Alex: I think I think with both of them for different reasons you always have to have in your top ten when it comes to majors. I mean, Brooks is arguably the best major player we've had in recent history. Jason: I mean, they're both US Open winners. But I don't know. I just don't see them. I can see both of them missing the cut actually. Alex: I I don't disagree and I don't know if y'all heard me because I cut out and ⁓ my uploads at a hundred, so I don't really understand it. But ⁓ I was saying I don't think you can leave either one out of the top ten for different reasons. I think ⁓ I think Brooks is just he's the modern day major standard. Marcus: Mm-hmm. Alex: I mean, he's won five majors. ⁓ the guy knows how to win, especially at US Opens. He has two or three of ⁓ right? I can't remember if he has two of one or three of the other. ⁓ I mean he just shows up and he shows up on hard courses. Like the guy's just a competitor. He's a dog. Marcus: He he just shows up. Mm-hmm. Alex: ⁓ Bryson, on the other hand, I mean, he's just he when he's on, he's a great player. ⁓ he's that methodical thinking that it gets him around the course. I think he does struggle when it comes to creativity, and US Open is probably the least creative of all of the majors from a shot perspective. Like, you're you want fairway, you want green. ⁓ it's not it's not the open. Like, I'd struggle to ever see Bryson win at the open because you just have to be so Jason: Mm-hmm. Alex: Creative in your shot type. Like you have a hundred ways to get the ball in the hole. Whereas, you know, kind of the same with the masters. I know Bryson's been competitive, but I think that one too, like it's there's a lot more creativity to how you how you handle that course. I think the PGA and the open lean well into Bryson's type of golf. Jason: I mean, it has helped obviously in the past setups for sure. ⁓ I mean, we've talked, I mean, I know we've talked about it like, gosh, almost a year ago. And I know we've talked about it even since the whole live thing started. I, the quality of the player is definitely not the same. You know, you could see it. mean, they only play three rounds now for, okay. But the courses and the core setups that they play are nothing like these conditions. and they're so sporadic and they play it's you lose it and it's proof that you lose that edge. Alex: Yeah, I mean it that's I I always thought that was kind of a dumb argument. it's kinda like you take a David Beckham and you put him in the MLS and then try to put him back in the EPL. Like I don't think that would have gone well. Like Marcus: Mm. Jason: No. Alex: As much as Messi's the best player to ever play the game, like I don't think you take him from Miami and go put him back on Barcelona and think that he's gonna be, you know, a top player in the world. He's gonna be an amazing player. He's still gonna be a contributor, but he's not gonna be the best player on the team anymore. ⁓ you just you lose that step. Marcus: He's ⁓ he's what they call a a locker locker room fit at that point. Jason: No. Alex: Yeah. I I I I will say I think there's anomalies to that. I mean, Tom Brady, you take him out of the sport ⁓ for a year or two and then he comes back and he still wins the Super Bowl or whatever it is. ⁓ Michael Jordan, like th I think there's always gonna be those anomalies, but ⁓ for the most part, yeah. I mean, you go play a lesser caliber and you you just lose that edge a little bit. Jason: Yeah. Yeah. Well, and the fact that you haven't dominated even at that lesser caliber set up. Like seriously. I mean, the last thing I know, Bryson, he's doing an equipment change potentially for the U S open. He's trying out some, are the QI four or whatever they call it QDI four or something. He's getting out of his crank. Alex: Yeah. Yeah, true. Very true. What's what's the over-under on Bryson not continuing to pursue professional golf, just playing in the majors and doing YouTube full-time? Jason: If Liv falls, which it will, like I know he's been working hard. He's working hard. ⁓ I see him stricken staying strictly to YouTube and popping to majors while he's still got the, ⁓ exemptions, which I think it's a few more years. Alex: It well it is. Yeah, there's they have no they have no funding anymore. Marcus: Yeah. Alex: Mm. Yeah, he gets a few more years unless he wins another. And as long as he finishes top ten, blah, blah, blah, he can still keep status. I just think he'd be stupid not to. I mean, the guy has over a million subscribers, I think, on YouTube. So like he puts out one video and it prints money. Jason: Right. Marcus: Yeah. Jason: Yeah, I mean, unless he just re-engages himself, I just don't see him going back full-time to the PGA. Alex: If I were him, I mean, why why put up with that grind? You are you've already won, you know, some majors. By all accounts, I think I think you make a Hall of Fame run in golf if you win anywhere from like five to ten events in a few majors, I think is what they consider. Cause they say Tyler Woods has had like three different Hall of Fame stints in his career. Cause he had like the late nineties, then the mid-2000s, and then again mid-teens or something like that. Marcus: Yeah. Jason: Yeah, I think he had something like that. ⁓ Alex: Yeah, so I mean, I don't like even like Speeth I think has technically had a a Hall of Fame level career, and I think he has like ten to eleven wins and three majors. Marcus: Yeah. Jason: Yeah, so you need 15 or more official victories, at least two major championships. Alex: Yeah, so I mean Bryson can't be that far Yeah. Yeah, Bryson can't be that far away from that. I think the fifteen wins might be where he struggles, but he has three majors, right? 'Cause doesn't doesn't he have two PGA championships and a US Open? Jason: Yeah, Tiger's done it like four times over. Marcus: What about the Liv Championship? Sorry. ⁓ Now if I was I mean Alex: Does not count. That th they don't they don't count. They don't count miners, Marcus. Jason: He only has nine wins. Alex: Well, including the majors. ⁓ okay. So yeah. So he still needs a few if he wants to Jason: Yes, so seven regular wins and two majors. Yeah, he's about, he's half, he needs about half. Alex: So maybe he does come back for a few years just to try to get to that fifteen. Marcus: Yeah, it's like Yeah, he's he's probably he's not doing those, you know, no offense to, you know, like the San Antonio, the Valero Texas Open or the Houston Open. He's he's gonna pick and choose probably the the nicer courses instead of coming out here 'cause realistically that that week I'll just schedule a video to you know, play with LeBron or something and ⁓ yeah and make the money. Yeah. Jason: Sorry, Marcus. Alex: Yeah, exactly. He he's gonna pick and he's gonna pick and choose what fits his what fits his schedule and his talent, and he's gonna go try to want play the ones that he knows he has a good chance of winning. Which makes sense. So well, that's good. ⁓ what about World Cup? Where where are we at here? I know Jason said he hasn't really been watching it, ⁓ nor do I know if he really follows soccer. ⁓ Marcus and I both played soccer, so I know we are both intently watching. I am very pissed at my Spaniards. ⁓ Marcus: ⁓ yeah. Jason: I could just mute this part out. I really have not looked at all. Marcus: Yeah. Alex: Eyes are gonna roll back here in a second for Jason. ⁓ dude, the the Spaniards, man, they could not get past that goalie yesterday, and it was so frustrating. I was like, I was in my office watching it, and at one point I had to close my door because I was getting pissed. Like I was about to throw something at the TV. It was ridiculous. Marcus: Yeah. Well Yeah. Yeah, that's that's I mean it's I I like at first I'll be honest, I wasn't a big fan of like like right now we have, you know, Iraq and and and Norway playing, which I'm thinking, why would we even have this game? But it's actually pretty good. It's Norway's up two one right now and ⁓ you know, they're it's it's actually a pretty competitive game. So I yeah. Jason: the Alex: There's I'll I'll say all all the games have actually been pretty fun to watch for the most part. ⁓ there was Yeah, but even that's sometimes fun to watch. ⁓ But the US game was amazing to watch. It we actually looked like a legitimate soccer team. ⁓ I and God, yeah, in in recent World Cups, it was funny because I was dogging on the Americans. ⁓ Jason: except for what that seven to one game or something like Germany or something. Marcus: Yeah. That's fun to watch. Sometimes you need a little bit of that. Jason: That's what I've heard. I will say that. Marcus: Yeah. Alex: And again, I played soccer, so like I I obviously want I want America to play well. ⁓ but I cheer for Spain because America notoriously has sucked in the World Cup or not qualified at all. Marcus: You have the right. Alex: So anyways, before the tournament, you know, the boys were like, or before the game started, the boys are like, ⁓ America qualified. And was like, No, we we qualify because we're hosting. Like it doesn't it doesn't count. Like it's not the same. And then they went out and they put up like an amazing, like they look like a legitimate soccer. We shouldn't even have given up the one goal we did give up. So it was Marcus: We're hosting. ⁓ yeah. ⁓ Jason: ⁓ wait, so we're not in just because we're the host. There's no like, you're a host, you get an automatic bid in. Marcus: ⁓ yeah. Yeah. And Canada, yeah. ⁓ huh. Alex: No, we are we are in because we're the host. Us, Mexico and Canada are all are all automatic qualifiers because so the host country automatically gets in. That's why it was a big thing when Qatar was in because they actually ha do have a decent team and they did qualify for this one too. But like their team wasn't like amazing, but they were in that's why it's a big deal to host the World Cup, especially at some countries that struggle to get into the World Cup. Jason: Okay, so that is a thing. Alex: Because you automatically get in. So ⁓ yeah, I was dog I was dogging on him. I was like, guys, like w we're gonna barely get out like I don't even know the last time we got out of the group stage. Like I really don't. Did was it? Marcus: I think it was last World Cup. Well, I'm yeah, I'm I'm not No, it w it was the World Cup before. Jason: We didn't make it last World Cup, Alex: I didn't think we did either. I th Yeah, we didn't qualify for a guitar. Marcus: No, I I think you did. Jason: No, South America. Marcus: Now I I think it was the World Cup before that. Yeah, I'm doing it now. But I know this off the top of my head. Alex: Hey, you are aren't aren't you the guy that's supposed to be looking up stuff for us? Jason: Yeah, wait, wasn't Brazil the, wasn't Argentina or Brazil like the last World Cup host? Was it? Marcus: No. It was Qatar. Argentina won. Alex: No. it has Qatar. Yeah, Argentina won in Qatar last time in 22. So where was 18? Jason: So that was two ago. I thought it was in South America. Marcus: No, twenty fourteen was in Brazil. Twenty eighteen I don't remember where Jason: ⁓ okay, so. Alex: So where Marcus: ⁓ Russia. Twenty eighteen was in Russia. Yeah. Alex: Okay, I wanted to say Russia, but I was before before Russia got banned from pretty much every world organization ⁓ sporting event. Jason: Whoa, okay. Marcus: Yeah. So they didn't the US didn't make it to that the Russia one, but they made it to to ⁓ Qatar. ⁓ no no, they made it to the round of sixteen and then got got Alex: Yeah. Yeah, and we got knocked out in the group stage. Correct? Or ⁓ okay. How how do we do in Russia or sorry in Brazil? Marcus: I don't remember. That was twelve years ago now. Jason: Golly. Alex: Yeah, I mean, we have not notoriously like been a good country. Like we struggle, we don't do well, so ⁓ it was good to see us win. Marcus: No, it's It's it's the same though. It's yeah, it's like for me, I mean I've been watching the World Cup since, you know, I was I don't know, in diapers, I guess. I was yeah. Yeah, and I mean we I've always rooted for Mexico 'cause that's obviously that's the team. And so it's it's been interesting here over the last I'd say over the last like ten years of the dynamic switch between like, you know, ⁓ Alex: Knee high out knee high on a grasshopper. Marcus: people actually rooting for the US because I couldn't remember anyone rooting for the US early two thousands. I mean, this is a very recent thing. ⁓ which I'm glad socket's getting popular, but ⁓ Alex: Mm. Well and I think I I think the women's soccer has a huge amount to do with that. Our women's soccer program is ⁓ is the gold standard in in international sports. Granted, Spain won the last World Cup for the girls. but I I think Spain and ⁓ America are the gold standard for for women's soccer. So I think that has helped elevate the men's soccer game ⁓ for the US men's. So ⁓ Marcus: Yeah. Can't touch ⁓ Yeah. Jason: Mm-hmm. Marcus: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Alex: It's it's good to see us actually play well. Marcus: Yeah, and the the other good thing about the US hosting, which Jason, you can chime in on this, is how many Europeans are discovering Buckeys and Crunchrap Supremes and Unlimited Sodas and freedom. I don't know how to say it. But like the the amount I don't know if you've been following this guy, Freddie, on on X. Alex: Mm. Free. Jason: you Marcus: But he's been driving his way from I think it was like from Tennessee over to Houston to watch Germany play. So he was at that Germany game. And so he's been hanging around Texas here. And he's gonna go to the game. I think it's tomorrow or it's today. I don't remember. ⁓ but he he's gone to the level of he's gonna go to the game, then he's gonna drive to Oklahoma City to go to a Ella Langley concert. Jason: you Marcus: And then go to the next Germany game, which is in Kansas City, which is wild. It's just like every everything that's good about America, like all of these Europeans are just like, Man, unlimited soda. Like, how do you even do this? You mean you get free ice in water? Like, it's the ranch dress. Yes. Yes. And they had no idea of just like the amount of stadiums that we have. Alex: That's funny. Jason: Yeah, like what is that? Alex: Well, it's it's the ranch dressing too. I've heard a lot about the ranch dressing. Jason: It's the ranch dressing. Marcus: that aren't for soccer. That it's like it's not even for pro sports, but it's for college sports and their minds are just blown, which is I think it's awesome. Alex: Mm-hmm. Yeah. It it is funny to see that revelation 'cause I don't think a lot of and I could be really wrong, but I don't think a lot of Europeans just come to America to visit at Jason: It's amazing. Yes. Marcus: It y and then that's exactly what I heard. I mean, I was working for a international company here early, you know, 2010. And, you know, it was a lot of Italians, Germans, Argentinians. And I mean, they had the same kind of thought before they got here, but like just seeing it from the other side of like like we don't have to hype up America. Like they're doing it for us, of like how how cool it is to be here. Like Alex: Mm-hmm. Marcus: But the other thing I saw was drive-throughs. It's like they were amazed at drive-throughs. Like we don't have this in Europe. Like we love drive-thrus. ⁓ there's this other Japanese guy that he discovered a Mexican restaurant and he's all like Yeah. He's all like ⁓ He's a he's like, I don't want to be rude. He's like, but you bring me into this place that I want to buy food and you give me enough trust Jason: Ultra. Alex: Ha ha ha. Marcus: To just bring me chips and salsa without asking for anything. You don't even know if I'm gonna pay, but you just bring me chips and salsa. It's like I'm not gonna deny that. He's like, I'm just gonna eat. And he's like, I was with all my other American friends, ⁓ and they said, Don't load up on the chips. It's like, but I'm Japanese and it's rude to leave that on the table. So now I'm seven bowls deep of chips and salsa, and my entree still hasn't made it to the table. It's like, it's amazing. I love it. Jason: You Alex: It it is funny how how much people like realize what is here. Like the cold drinks part baffles me. Like why no one else has ice in their in their drinks. that's like the one thing like I love. We loved Spain. I would move there in a heartbeat. ⁓ I love the food there. I love everything, but that that's like the one thing that I struggled with was like not getting that really cold, refreshing drink. Like even just a water. Like I have a cold bottle of water right here. Like I don't Marcus: Yeah. Jason: Mm-hmm. Alex: I e I don't know how people drink that without ice, like or right out of the fridge. Marcus: Yeah. Or not putting it in the fridge. Just yeah, just just just sits there. It's like but I mean there's a couple good Twitter or ex follows that man, they're just going around this country and they are just hyping up the US and just everything. Like, I don't know. It's awesome. Alex: For not putting it in the first general, yeah. Jason: Yeah. Alex: Well, while we're hyping up the US and saying how cold drinks suck in Europe, Jason, ⁓ you're sad about Italy? Jason: ⁓ yeah. Looking forward to it. All that bottled water, mineral water. Marcus: Hey, just word just word of wisdom, don't bring up the World Cup while you're out there because they did not qualify. So don't bring it up. Alex: Ha ha. Yeah. Jason: I don't think that'll be a problem. That won't be a problem. Alex: So it's it's funny, Grayson's ⁓ Grayson's dad is from Italy. He was born there. so Grayson the other day said something about ⁓ he was gonna cheer for Italy at the World's Cup and I looked at him and go, They didn't make it. Like just dead in his eyes like they didn't qualify, Grayson. He was like, Yeah, they did. said, No, they didn't. Like they didn't qualify. You better you might as well come over to La Roja with me over here and cheer for cheer for Spain. And he he just started laughing at me. He was like, Well, fine, I'm gonna cheer for Colombia because I guess that's where his dad's wife is from. I was like, Well, you know, cheer Colombia, they're not gonna make out a group stage. So at some point you're gonna come cheer and want a Spain shirt. So like we'll see it. We'll we know it's coming. You can wear a Barca shirt, it's okay. Jason: ⁓ my gosh, that's funny. Yeah, they did. No, they didn't. Marcus: But he did not. Alex: Yeah, I'm I'm looking at I'm like, no, they they really didn't. I I honestly though, I almost second guessed myself because I was like, When was the last time Italy hasn't qualified? I mean, they're so good. They've always been good. Marcus: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, they got knocked out by like ⁓ I think it was like Bosnia in like their eliminatory game. Alex: Okay, but there have been some pretty random teams that qualified this year. Like Cape Verde, who Spain played. Like I've never even heard of them. You had the Czech Rep Czechia. Yeah, but they tied and it they acted like they won the whole dang tournament. Like their whole bench was cheering. And I would too. Marcus: Yeah. Jason: Yeah, there was a, was there another one? Marcus: But they they tied Spain. Yeah. I mean I would. Yeah. ⁓ Jason: What was Ivory Coast? Alex: ⁓ they they're hit or miss. Yeah, they're they're usually at least in the conversation. You had ⁓ Carouso. No one ever hears of them. ⁓ Czech Republic or Czechia, I guess. Is that what they're are those the same? I'm gonna sound really ignorant here. Are Czechia and Czech Republic the same? Okay, that's what I thought. They're hit or miss. They're hit or miss, like Marcus: N they they usually make it, yeah. Jason: Okay. Marcus: Curacao? Nope. ⁓ Jason: Yeah. That's right, they're all the... Marcus: Yes. They were I think they made a couple, yeah. Jason: Sena... Senegal? Alex: Croatia's not in it this year. Senegal is another one that like randomly will make one every few every few times. ⁓ Croatia, I don't think, qualified this year. Jason: I don't see them. No, I don't. Did they? I haven't seen them on the list. ⁓ they're way down there. They're in the group L. Marcus: They did Yeah Kr yeah, Croatia plays England tomorrow. Alex: Okay. No. Okay. Well, 'cause they lost ⁓ it ⁓ Luca's not playing, right? This is this is dude, that's the storyline is you have like a whole group of these like staple players that are on their retirement tour. Like Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar, Moderick, ⁓ Marcus: Yeah. Dann is ready. Okay. He is. This is his last World Cup. Yeah. He he's Yep. Mm-hmm. Jason: Yeah. Marcus: Luca, yeah. Alex: You have a handful of ⁓ even ⁓ Tim Reem on US. Like I know he's not a world player, but he's thirty-six, I think, or thirty-eight, 'cause he's he was around my age or our age. ⁓ he's the captain for the US, like he's done after this. So like you just have that, like there's a handful of big names that are done after this one. Jason: It's amazing. It's just, I just remember hearing a few like Tim Howard, Dempsey and all them back in the day. And then it's like, they're gone just like that after like two World Cups or maybe three World Cups. Marcus: ⁓ yeah. I mean that's eight, twelve years. Yeah. Alex: Well it's I was gonna say it's it makes a difference when it's, you know, every four years and it's just ⁓ I'm trying to go through here. Algeria, Austria, okay, Bosnia Jason: Yeah, exactly. Tanzania? Is that one? Marcus: And then Morocco, I didn't even I mean, they're like ranked eighth in the world. Yeah. Jason: ⁓ they. Alex: Con yeah, Morocco did really good in the last one. ⁓ you have the Congo, Carouso, Egypt. Jason: Yeah, I saw they tied Brazil. Marcus: ⁓ and they fire that to the Tunisia coach after the first game. Like they lost they lost five to one and they're like, get out. It's like, why can't you just wait till after the World Cup? Like, what are y'all doing? Jason: ⁓ that's right. Alex: There's there's a lot of ⁓ I'm Turkey. Yeah, it's Turkey. They spell it how like it's actually their country spells it on here. ⁓ there's a lot of Middle East company or companies, a lot of Middle East ⁓ as well, because you have Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Morocco, Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, like usually the Middle East will have a handful, not Uzbekistan. Jason: What's this turk-eye? Is that turkey or is that dispelled? Okay. Marcus: ⁓ yeah. Turkey. Jason: Okay. Marcus: Yeah, first of all I didn't know Iraq had a squad. Jason: There's lot. Alex: Like there's a lot of Middle Eastern too, so it's just a weird Jason: So do they, you would think being in all one, same region, they would play each other for qualifying, but obviously they're all in. So they've found different routes. Marcus: They Yeah, so then they like they did qualify, but then they have like those elimination games. Like if you're like right on the cusp, and so it's like it'll be like Europe versus like the Middle East or you know, South America and like a CONCACAF team and whoever wins out of those, that's who gets in. But it's like single elimination, but that's after the whole trying to get to the World Cup thing. Alex: Mm-hmm. Also, does the host country teams take the spots? So like CONCACAF, did they lose three qualifying spots because we all three are playing? Because that would make sense too, because I think there's a handful of CONCACAF that might typically be in here that are not in here because of that. Yeah, you got Panama, you got Marcus: I think I think they did. Yeah. Yeah. I s see Panama and that's about it. Jason: Hmm Marcus: I guess Curacao. Alex: Yeah, Carouso's in there. Uruguay's not CONCACAF. None of the South American teams are CONCACAF. That's what I'm saying. There's some random teams. So who do you who do you got going? Who who's winning this, Marcus? Marcus: Hades in. Me? So in I actually did a bracket here with my brothers and I have Spain and Portugal in the final and I got Portugal two one. I seen the script. It's Ronaldo's last year. I'm not a Ronaldo fan either, by the way. Alex: Hey Jason, can we revisit that conversation about kicking Marcus out of Scrambling Dads? Marcus: I I put Spain in the final, what do you want me to do? Jason: I think so. think we need to. Alex: You wanna break my heart? You w ⁓ let's get up to the final, but then let's just break Alex's heart. Yeah that that Marcus: I could have just said the the third place game, but I I put ⁓ in the final. Alex: I would rather that. Jason: I think it's gonna be a Cinderella team this year. Alex: It won't. It's never a Cinderella team in the World Cup. Grant I say that now it's gonna be. That they were no that was not a Cinderella. They'd messy and they were one the best teams. Jason: Argentina? Argentina was, that was. Marcus: Are j it they were good. Jason: Yeah, but that was after his whole career. That was the first one you would think they would. He would have more. Alex: Yeah, but like their pedigree, I mean they just have they they got the pedigree. Jason: But the way it just happened, because I do remember watching that final, the way it just set up for them. Marcus: That was such a good final. Alex: I I will say I am shocked that they won that game specifically. I'm not shocked that they went far in the World Cup or that they even had a chance to win. But you were playing against Killian Mbappe and the French team who are a powerhouse and you somehow beat them. Like I that was shocking to me. Marcus: Mm. Jason: Yeah, that, that, gosh. Marcus: Yeah, that's wild. Alex: ⁓ I'm with you. I got Spain and Portugal. I am a little concerned that a Spain and Portugal ⁓ finals is gonna start World War Three over there because those two countries do not like each other at all. There's like 900 years of heated history between those two countries, and putting them in the World Cup is gonna be interesting. ⁓ but Marcus: Yeah. No. Jason: Gosh, yeah. Marcus: ⁓ yeah. Yeah. Alex: I think I do have after after the US. ⁓ I haven't done my bracket because we don't do our company one doesn't start until the actual bracket starts. ⁓ so I haven't even put mine together. After the US won in dominating fashion, I know it was a team we should have beat anyways. ⁓ I'm gonna take them to ⁓ the round of eight. I think I'll probably knock them out at that point if I'm being realistic. ⁓ but yeah, I'm I'm with you. Marcus: Yeah. Well we get we got round of thirty two this year, so they'll at least win one knockout game. Alex: That's what I'm saying. I think they'll win 16. I just don't think that they'll win the I I think the problem is every game is hard. Once you get to the brackets, every game is hard. And I don't see them winning against a Brazil or Spain or England. Like there's just too many powerhouse teams. So I'm with you. I got Portugal and Spain as well. But I have Spain winning. Marcus: Yeah. Yeah. An England, a Belgium. Yeah. Yeah I got Portugal beating Argentina in the semifinal, I think. Just for the drama. Jason: Hmm. Marcus: I think I I I my my ⁓ tinfoil hat is on alert. I think it's gonna be so I I mean Messi got his. I think they're gonna try and move Ronaldo's is my my thoughts. Literally only reason. I mean that's a good bet. I got France Morocco Alex: Can't foil hot. Yeah. Jason: I'm gonna throw France out there. Alex: Hey, Kil Killian's a great player. They got they got great players. They got great players. All right, Jason. Let's ⁓ let's close us out here with what you're looking forward to in Italy. You know, are you w what are what are we doing here? Jason: I'm just gonna throw France. That's my pick. just just getting downtime, like disconnecting technology, all of that and trying to live life as a local. That's kind of like the big thing ⁓ we're looking forward to. mean, we'll do a few sightseeing components, but most of trip is we got some homes or cottages and we're just gonna relax and we even got wardrobe selections that are kind of more local ish not touristy. No graphic tees, no baseball caps. So we're going to try to blend in. We may not come back. Alex: ⁓ I don't blame you, but I am definitely gonna challenge you on the no technology. I'm gonna text you every day, every minute of every day. I'm just gonna keep blowing you up. You can't block me. I'm I'm gonna send him like a paragraph, but I'm gonna break it up into words. So he's gonna get a hundred texts for one text. Marcus: Ha Jason: You're blowing with this like, am I gonna respond? I gonna respond? Ooh, that might eat me up though. you Well, see, then I would just take a picture and then just send it back to you guys. So that's gonna be the hard part. Marcus: You can Alex: No. Marcus: You can do ⁓ I guess with iPhones a delayed send. So you can just s yeah, just send it to ⁓ random times. Jason: ⁓ yeah. We're already seven hours difference. It's going to be random. Alex: Like like right when I know he's like I'm I'm gonna do it right when he's waking up or right when he's like trying to fall asleep. Send him text. Marcus: Yeah. Jason: Ping, ping, ping, ping. No, it's gonna be good two weeks out of the country. Alex: Well, ⁓ in enjoy Marcus. Marcus and I will ⁓ try not to talk too much about you if we decide to record. We haven't even talked if we're gonna record. Marcus might have to step up and ⁓ do the editing. That got his attention. Jason: Alright, perfect. Marcus: Mm-hmm. ⁓ yeah. ⁓ Alex: Well, no, ⁓ in all seriousness, enjoy, enjoy the time off you. ⁓ well deserved. I know y'all have been burning it at both ends with summer, ⁓ summer school and the weddings. outside of that, I look forward to seeing who is gonna pull off this US Open victory. ⁓ I got zero plans this weekend, so I might actually sit down and try to watch some golf for the first time in forever. ⁓ at least on Father's Day. Marcus: Mm-hmm. Jason: ⁓ there you go. Shoot. won't even it'll be evening before I even know who the winner is. Alex: So ⁓ yeah, it usually ends between five and six, so it'll be past midnight for you. Jason: I'll find out Monday morning. Alex: such an old man. Stay up and watch it. Be a man. Jason: and watch it with my Italian TV. It's all going to be in Italian. I'm like, I don't know. Alex: You'll have you'll have internet. You can you can ⁓ they'll have it. It Pete it isn't major, like they're gonna play it. Marcus: Yeah, they they won't be watching the World Cup, I guarantee you. Just out of spite. Just out of spite. ⁓ man. Jason: Hehehehehe Alex: Definitely not they are definitely not watching the World Cup. Yeah, exactly. All right, gents. Well I have to go pack up the kids and get over to this field. ⁓ appreciate y'all working with me here, Jason. ⁓ enjoy your time off. Marcus, I guess we will talk and see if we even want to record. ⁓ or maybe we can pull Jason in somehow, some way, for a little 30-minute from Italy podcast. Jason: ⁓ man. you Marcus: Yeah. Jason: That would be kind of cool, but the schedules will have to figure something out. Alex: Got a sweet talk, Shelby, on that one. Marcus: Yeah. We can do it Sunday morning. It'll be a Sunday afternoon. Jason: Yeah. Yeah Alex: Or we do it right after the US Open ends. We just get on real quick for 30 minutes. Which means he has to stay awake. Take an espresso shot. They love drinking espresso over there, you're fine. Marcus: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. They don't eat dinner till like midnight anyway, to be honest. Yeah. Yeah. If if you're yeah Jason: ⁓ yeah, so let's see. Well, from New York, it's six hours. Alex: That's true. They don't need dinner till like tennish. You're fine. Eat dinner, have an espresso, we'll get on a podcast and do it right. We'll just do a US Open recap for thirty minutes. Marcus: Yeah. Like they'll have like appetizers and like drinks from like five to like ten and then you have dinner from ten to two in the morning. I'm not even joking. Jason: Yeah, I know there. That's one thing we'll have to figure out. That's for sure. Marcus: And if you want to live like a local, you better you better eat at midnight. Yeah. Yeah. Alex: It was it it was a big adjustment for Casey and I in Spain because it it really was like we were eating dinner at nine, ten o'clock at night and I was like, I'm normally like re getting ready for bed now. Like this is crazy. Jason: Yeah, man. Marcus: Yeah. Jason: Yeah. Well, the good news is we're only going to actually be going out to dinner only a handful of times. Most of time we are going to do something at the house. So we'll still kind of keep a somewhat of a schedule. Well, Miles is going to have to keep us that way because he's definitely not going to last. Alex: We'll say. We'll see about that. The the kid's gonna be a like a local in a heartbeat. He doesn't need sleep, he's fine. Marcus: He's gonna be like, papa, huh? He's gonna come like this. He's just gonna have his fingers just. Yeah. It's like where'd you get those where Ma's gonna have gold rings? He's like, where'd you get that pinky ring from? Alex: Yeah. Jason: Where does soap? Yeah, you'd be like, Alex: Nice. It's gonna come back the godfather. Jason: ⁓ my gosh, all the nonas are gonna like eat them up. Oh my gosh. He's gonna have his hair slicks, get rid of the curls. Marcus: ⁓ yeah. Alex: Jason's g Jason's gonna be taking orders from Miles when we get back. Jason: I'm already taking orders now. Yeah, you know how it is. Marcus: Yeah. Alex: See, it's it's already started. Yeah, exactly. Alright, boys. Well, we ⁓ we will get on next week. Everyone, as always, thank you for listening. ⁓ Apple, Amazon, YouTube, and Spotify. And we will maybe talk next week, might not. You'll just have to tune in and see. Talk to y'all later. Marcus: ⁓ do ex do espresso, huh? ⁓ Jason: All right. Night. Marcus: See ya.
