- 0:37I spent like forty five minutes doing cardio, which is the worst. Then
- 0:42I went and bought myself a whole damn cheesecake to eat by myself. I
- 0:51was craving chocolate. I wanted a cheesecake, and I went to the store.
- 0:54I was only going to get a slice, and then I saw a
- 0:55whole Brownie cheesecake and it looked delicious. I loved it. I got it.

- 1:27o'clock ask Alabama, good morning, it's what the hell headlines? What the
- 1:34hell are you talking about? On the Alabama show? A Chick fil A
- 1:38manager stole one hundred and forty four thousand dollars and spent the money on only
- 1:44fans. Why. This was a manager at a Chick fil A in an
- 1:49airport in Minneapolis. They embezzled roughly one hundred and forty four thousand dollars over
- 1:56a year long period, and they spent the money on jewel and only fans.
- 2:01How are you going to spend almost two hundred thousand dollars on OnlyFans?
- 2:05Like? Literally, what is wrong with you? He got arrested and obviously
- 2:08lost his job, But what do you think? So you know, like
- 2:12anytime you say thank you to a Chick fil A employee, their response always
- 2:16has to be my pleasure. Do you think when the girls he was giving
- 2:20money to on OnlyFans said oh thank you, he was like, oh,
- 2:23my pleasure? Why there's three things you need to know. There's some new
- 2:30trails at the Birmingham Zoo and I think this is super cool. They've teamed
- 2:35up with Blue Cross, Blue Shield and they have opened the Flamingo Trail,
- 2:38Gator Trail and Giraffe Trail. This is if you need to get your steps
- 2:43in, this is a great way because you get to see animals while you're
- 2:45walking around the zoo. Uh and every trail they have them marked with the
- 2:49colors so you know what the trail is and you anybody who gets tickets to
- 2:54the zoo can access the trail. Some of them like go all the way
- 2:59around the parameter of the zoo. This looks super cool. So if you
- 3:01need to get your steps in today, the Zoo's a great way to do
- 3:04it. Pizza Hut just announced the greatest thing ever, Goodbye Pies for Valentine's
- 3:09Day because a lot of people break up on Valentine's Day. It's it's a
- 3:14pizza and on the box it has a personalized message for your boo. It's
- 3:17literally a pizza in the shape of a broken heart and it says goodbye and
- 3:22they leave a space at the top for you to put your person's name.
- 3:25Hey, I want to break up. Here's pizza. Thanks pizza. Hut.
- 3:30Oh, that's so funny, so funny. Taylor Swift has just threatened
- 3:36legal action against a student out of Central Florida. He's a college kid out
- 3:43of Central the University of Central Florida, who has social media accounts that share
- 3:47information about private jet landings and takeoffs that belong to celebrities and other public figures.
- 3:53And by the way, this information is already public. You can get
- 3:57it off of the aviation like, you can search it and you can find
- 4:00it. Taylor Swift's people sent him a cease and desist letter back in December
- 4:05that said Taylor would have no choice then to pursue legal actions if he did
- 4:10not stop stalking and harassing by posting the jet takeoff in landings. He also
- 4:16shares his estimate of the environmental impact of their private jets, and so he
- 4:24says that the information is already out there and Taylor's team is just trying to
- 4:30control the world. And he's like, this all happened when Taylor started getting
- 4:34backlash for her environmental impact using her private jet. Look I am a Swiftie.
- 4:43I love Taylor Swift More than anybody in the world. But if the
- 4:46information is already public, the information is already public. I'm just saying.
- 4:50Anyway, that's three things you need to know. Mare at the Alabama Show
- 4:54dot com? What the hell headlines are on the way next? You were
- 4:58listening to the Alabama man Zach, Good morning. What's your issue for?
- 5:03Ask Alabama? How can I help you? You know, I need help
- 5:06dealing with my pregnant girlfriend. Okay, what is going on? Your girlfriend's
- 5:14pregnant? Right, My girlfriend's pregnant and it's going to be both of ours
- 5:17first kid. Oh congratulations, thank you, thank you. Yeah, you
- 5:23know, we're both super excited, but you know, we keep arguing over
- 5:28one thing. Okay, what's the thing. What's the thing that you're arguing
- 5:31about? So I want to do a huge gender reveal and my girlfriend doesn't
- 5:38like. How big of a gender reveal do you want to do? Are
- 5:43you trying to blow stuff up? Well? Look, I mean I want
- 5:46to run out of place and do it big. You know, Oh my
- 5:49God and family are going to come, and you know you only get to
- 5:54have your your first baby one. What does your girlfriend say about that?
- 5:59What does she want to do? She just keeps saying she wants to do
- 6:01it at home and you know, low key and nothing big. But again,
- 6:06I want to do it all out. How many people do you think
- 6:10are going to come to this gender reveal? I have a big family and
- 6:14a lot of friends, and so I mean I'm thinking at least one hundred
- 6:16people on my side. Oh, dear God. And you want to rent
- 6:20out a venue? Yeah, yeah, I mean the place I was looking
- 6:25at renting. You know, it's a nice venue, but it'll cost us
- 6:29about one thousand dollars. But we'd have an open bar. And hang on,
- 6:32you said you want an open bar at your gender reveal. You know
- 6:36your girlfriend can't drink, right, Just because she can't, it doesn't mean
- 6:41I can't. Oh you are okay, You're already looking at the venue and
- 6:46she is not happy about it. No, my girlfriend says it's too much,
- 6:50and she basically accused me of asked acting super immature about it. And
- 6:56yeah, honestly, I think she's being selfish. I mean, it's my
- 6:59kid too, not the only one going through this. Wait, she's not
- 7:03the only one going through what her pregnancy, right, I mean, come
- 7:08on, now, I get woking up in the middle of the night,
- 7:11I go buy her weird food and I've been holding their hair when she gets
- 7:15the morning sickness. Oh my god, come on. I listened to her
- 7:17complain about how miserable being pregnant is, and I think she should let me
- 7:21have this. I mean, come on now, wrong reveal. I think
- 7:27that it is a good thing that you are super excited about being a dad,
- 7:30because there are a lot of dads out there who find out their girlfriend's
- 7:34pregnant and they run and go, Nope, not mine. It wasn't me.
- 7:38So good for you for that. Okay, thanks, That's the only
- 7:42good thing I'm going to give you, because right now you are being selfish.
- 7:46You don't have to carry the baby in your stomach for nine months,
- 7:49and it is miserable being pregnant. So I've heard I've never had a kid.
- 7:54Bruh. If she wants to have a relaxing gender reveal, you don't
- 7:58need an open bar. You can save that thousand dollars and buy diapers whatever.
- 8:03I mean, you've never had kids, what do you know? Oh
- 8:05my god? Call the show. Eight three three five oh one, Bama
- 8:09is the number. I need a mom. I need a mom and a
- 8:11dad who has had kids to give Zack some advice. Eight three three five
- 8:16oh one BAMA is the number that's eight three three five oh one two two
- 8:20six two y Alabama show on demand free on the iHeartRadio app. Zach is
- 8:26so clueless. He just called the show for Ask Alabama and wants to do
- 8:30a big gender reveal for their first baby, and he wants to spend one
- 8:33thousand dollars on an open bar, and his girlfriend's like, no, I
- 8:37want to do it at home and save the money. Eight three three five
- 8:39oh one Bama is the numbered away in Kelli, Good Morning. Do you
- 8:43have advice for Zach? Oh? John, If I was his girlfriend,
- 8:48Oh, it would be bad. It would be so bad. But I've
- 8:52been for two kids. I had a very small like I'm talking three sisters,
- 8:58my mom and dad at the gender reveal from our first okay, for
- 9:03our first son, Like we have two girls that are pops, one is
- 9:07my husband, one is mont Okay, we didn't even do a gender reveal
- 9:11for our son. I think that it's almost like having a big wedding or
- 9:15spending a lot of money on a honeymoon when you could use it for the
- 9:18house when you get married. I think spending a lot of money on a
- 9:20gender reveal, use that money for the baby. One thousand dollars for a
- 9:24venue with an open bar. Yeah, it's ridiculous. CALLI thanks for calling
- 9:28the show. Hi, thank you. Zach and his girlfriend are fighting.
- 9:33They are having their first kid ever together and he wants to do a huge
- 9:37gender reveal and rent out a venue that costs one thousand dollars and have an
- 9:41open bar. His girlfriend said he's being immature. She just wants to do
- 9:45something small at home and save the money. What do you think? What
- 9:48would you do? How did you do your gender reveal? Eight three three
- 9:52five oh one Bama is the number? Amy, Good morning. Do you
- 9:54have advice for Zach? I do have two kids, okay, I have
- 10:00a three year old and a nine months old. Did you do a gender
- 10:03reveal for either? I did, but it was only with me and my
- 10:07husband. That's how I would do. Done it live, so you just
- 10:11posted it on social media? I did. I done a Facebook live because
- 10:16it was easier because we have families that's out of town. You know.
- 10:20Yeah, it was so much easier and it was less stressful for me and
- 10:24you probably saved a lot of money, didn't you. I sure did,
- 10:26because I think I spent maybe twenty bucks for both kids. What did y'all
- 10:31do? Did you just cut into a piece of cake or did you blow
- 10:35confetti? How did you do the gender reveal for my son? We filled
- 10:39a balloon with confetti. Oh and then with my daughter, we my sister
- 10:45had gotten some stuff for us and put it in like a gift bag.
- 10:48Yeah, and let our son open it up. Oh, that's so cool.
- 10:50So you definitely think Zach is being a little over the top with the
- 10:54with renting a venue at the open bar. Of course, Am thanks for
- 11:00calling the show. Thank you have a great day. Ty. Do you
- 11:03have advice for Zach? Of course? Of course. So I'm real careful
- 11:07about watering down the experience for both parents, and I do have kids,
- 11:13so this is what I think. Of course, mom needs to have to
- 11:18reveal her way to that's just how it is. But I think that for
- 11:22him, because you know, after COVID, we just started celebrating everything.
- 11:26We've got these lavish one year old birthday parties that they're not even going to
- 11:30remember. I think he should have a post revealed party to where he gets
- 11:35into gifts, almost like a baby sour. But since they already know the
- 11:39gender, they can do whatever they want to do, but they have got
- 11:43to bring gifts for that thing. Yes, look, I love this baby
- 11:46daddy parties the mom. Yeah, because dad. So we were so hard
- 11:56on them about the crab beginning figure for Father's Day? How many wall has
- 12:01been built? Some ties and fox? Can we give that? Well?
- 12:03So he can have his day. But mom comes first, and the mom
- 12:07we get baby showers. Moms get baby showers. I love the idea of
- 12:11a baby natty party where you can get cool dad things for the dad.
- 12:15Since he's about to be a dad. You know exactly what the gender is.
- 12:18There's no excuses, there's no retires. Don't come up in here with
- 12:22no dresses because you know it's the boy or vice versa. So it's a
- 12:26little bit of evans of both world. I love you. When it's time
- 12:30to throw a party for something going on in my life, I'm calling you
- 12:33because that's great. You have a good day, are you too? Good
- 12:41morning? Who's this? Good morning? Hey? This is Brandy. I'm
- 12:45a mom of seven and a grandmother to four. Well, wha, wha,
- 12:48wha whoa, whoa. Wait, you have seven kids? Yes,
- 12:52a verse six of those. Brandy, you are a superhero. I love
- 12:56you. What do you think about the gender reveal? What's your advice for
- 13:01Zach? I have been through my daughter's gender reveal with her and they were
- 13:07low key, no drinking. Why are you going to use money for something
- 13:11that you really don't need? You you've got a kid coming and this is
- 13:13at the request of your girlfriend, your baby mama. Why are you not
- 13:18respecting her wishes when she's the one carrying the baby. The money could be
- 13:20put to a much better use at this time. Oh my god, use
- 13:24the thousand dollars for diapers? Like, how much are diapers? You know
- 13:28you have seven kids. You probably spent thousands of dollars. We are way
- 13:31out of the dipper stage. My youngest is now toteen. I'm about to
- 13:35graduate into freedom. But I'm sure at one point you were spending a lot
- 13:39of money on diapers. You do and daygrow out of each size so very
- 13:45fast. There's so much more that you could use that for. Everything is
- 13:48way more expensive now than what it was. What if she wants to breastfeed
- 13:52but can't, You've got to cost a formula bottles. I mean, there's
- 13:56a plethora of things that money can be used for or his child, but
- 14:00obviously he's still a child and alamants to focus on himself. He's not even
- 14:03putting the wishes of the mom first. I agree. Thank you for Colin,
- 14:07You're welcome. That one made me mad. I never call into a
- 14:11radio station, but that I had to give. I'm glad you did.
- 14:15He needed to hear it. He's about to grow up because he's a dad
- 14:18now, he's got to grow up. If not kid, it'll be raising
- 14:20him and that'll be pitiful. Dedra, do you have advice for Zach who
- 14:24wants to spend one thousand dollars on a big gender reveal when his girlfriend does
- 14:30not want to do that and he's like, Oh, I'm going through this
- 14:33pregnancy too. It's hard on me too. Yeah. So watch the movie
- 14:37Aliens. Is that what being pregnant is like? Ale? Just watch the
- 14:41movie Aliens and then think about the reality of the fact that at some point
- 14:46she's going to have someone rearranging her organ on the inside. Girl, don't
- 14:54I want to have kids? Do not make me not want to have them?
- 14:56Look my first kid braced her legs off of my diaphragm during my contraction.
- 15:03Oh, dear Lord, you do not know what's going to happen.
- 15:07But she is not in control of this. She's along for the ride as
- 15:11much as he is. Man, So come together in the fact that y'all
- 15:15are on for a wild ride. Thank you, Dedra. I'm terrified of
- 15:18pregnancy and childbirth now, but thanks for calling the show. If you want
- 15:22a way in, there's still time. Call the show. Eight three three
- 15:26five oh one. Bama is the number. It's what the hell headlines?
- 15:31What the hell are you talking about on the Alabama show? Fairy Queen employees,
- 15:35we're busted selling met out of ice cream cones? Why what is going
- 15:43on in Texas? This is so crazy. Cop started investigating people because they
- 15:48thought they were selling drugs out of their soft serve at Dairy Queen. So
- 15:52they literally called it Operation Blizzard and sent in undercovered detectives to buy the drugs
- 15:58from the employee. Of course, they sold them the meth. So then
- 16:02the cops arrested ten people who were in this whole ring that worked at Dairy
- 16:06Queen. They arrested them and if you're wondering that people did not keep their
- 16:11job at dairy Queen. Why, there's three things you need to know with
- 16:15the element if you want to win one thousand dollars pay your bills is here.
- 16:21We want to hook you up. Listen for the thousand dollars keyword.
- 16:23We got one on the way. When you hear it, type it in
- 16:26on our website and then you could be one thousand dollars richer. Literally that
- 16:30easy. Here's the biggest mistake you can ever make on a job interview,
- 16:37according to employers, it's being late. Employers were surveyed and most of them
- 16:41said running late for an interview is way worse than dressing too casual or saying
- 16:48the name of the company wrong, Which makes sense because if you're running late
- 16:51to the job interview, which is the most important part of the whole job
- 16:53process, you're probably going to be late to work every day and why would
- 16:56they hire you? And if you're bad? It's small talk. Here are
- 17:00some phrases and questions you can throw into your conversations that will help you out
- 17:06next time. It's going to make you sound like a pro and keep the
- 17:08conversation going. Oh I need this because sometimes I get so awkward, which
- 17:11is funny because I talk for a living simple. You can say how's your
- 17:15day going. You can say I loved your recent post on Facebook and whatever
- 17:22it is and reference something they posted on Facebook. You can also ask for
- 17:27recommendations of places to go. I've been looking for a good restaurant or bookstore
- 17:32around here, and do you have any ideas? Or you can if it's
- 17:34somebody like where you're at if you're out on location, have you ever been
- 17:38here before? There are some phrases that'll help you be an expert at small
- 17:44talk. Or you can just be like Joey from Friends and be like,
- 17:47Hey, how you doing? This is why I'm awkward. That's three things
- 17:52you need to know more at the Alabama Show dot com. If you're listening
- 17:56to The Alabama Show, the following program is on Katie, Good morning.
- 18:02What's awesome in your life? What do you want to celebrate? I'm about
- 18:04to start my first Girl Scout cookie booth with my daughter. Oh my gosh.
- 18:10Yeah, that is the coolest thing ever. What Uh? Where are
- 18:17you going to set up your booth? Uh? We'll be set up in
- 18:19pell City, Okay, and it's for Troop two for two one six,
- 18:25but all the booths will be set up across the state this weekend. Look
- 18:29at you promoting your daughter's girl Scout cookies on the radio. Yeah, are
- 18:34there any new flavors this year? I think Adventure Pools is a new one.
- 18:40And it's like a brownie with caramel and it's got like sea salt.
- 18:45They're so good. Oh my gosh, that sounds really really good. Simoas
- 18:48are always going to be my favorite. But yes, you're not helping my
- 18:53diet right now. Hey, you can donate, you know, if I'm
- 18:59giving me money. I want cookies. I want cookies, kadies. Oh
- 19:03that's great. Well, thanks for calling the show. That is what's awesome
- 19:07and good luck. I hope that your daughter makes so much money. Yes,
- 19:11me too, Thank you so much. By the way, if you
- 19:12have something awesome that you want to share, call the show. Eight three
- 19:17three five oh one. BAMA is the number The Alabama Show on demand free
- 19:21on the iHeartRadio app. What's your secret stash that you have hidden at your
- 19:26house? Oh, call the show eight three three five oh one BAMA is
- 19:30the number. Or text the keyword Alabama and your message to three zero three
- 19:34eight two. Let me tell you what I hid. This is so funny.
- 19:38This is an ongoing fight with my boyfriend and I because he gets frustrated
- 19:42when I hide things from him, but I get mad when he eats all
- 19:45the good things, Like normally I'll buy ice cream and he'll eat all the
- 19:48ice cream. And here's the new thing. Yesterday, man, I've been
- 19:52going to the gym, I've been working out. I've been working out hard,
- 19:56and all day yesterday, I was craving cheesecake and so oh. I
- 20:00stopped at the grocery store on my way home and I was just going to
- 20:03get a slice of cheesecake. I bought myself a whole brownie cheesecake. It
- 20:10was so good, I've already had two pieces of it. I don't even
- 20:14care. But I put it up because I knew if I left it out,
- 20:17my boyfriend would eat it. And so it's pushed to the very back
- 20:22of the refrigerator and I put like some leftovers and carrots and vegetables in front
- 20:29of it, all the things I know that my boyfriend won't eat or touch
- 20:32in the fridge so that he won't pull it out and eat it. I
- 20:34hid its tough from him all the time, I got chocolate everywhere, and
- 20:37then I did this pole on Facebook and there's some good hiding places that I'm
- 20:44going to steal from now on. Kasha says she puts apples and grapefruits in
- 20:48the closet. Also, why would you put fruit in your closet that's going
- 20:51to go bad. Chris said he hides his candy in a vegetable bag in
- 20:53the freezer and nobody touches it, and that is brilliant. I am stealing
- 20:59that. And Lee says she has double stuff woreos in her top dresser chour.
- 21:03I'll call the show. What's your secret stash and where do you hide
- 21:07it? Eight three three five oh one BAMA is the number you were listening
- 21:11to the Alabama Show on demand? What's your secret stash in the house and
- 21:18who are you hiding it from? Call the show? Eight three three five
- 21:21oh one BAMA. I had a whole cheesecake in the refrigerator last night from
- 21:26my boyfriend's steak daddy, because we both have horrible sweet tooths and we'll both
- 21:32eat all of whatever the chocolate is in the house. But let's call him.
- 21:37I'm gonna tell him myself because I've already talked about it on the radio
- 21:41today, and he's gonna hear it if I don't. So, Hey,
- 21:44babe, good morning. Are you busy? What are you doing out them
- 21:48to the job site? Have you looked in the refrigerator this morning? No,
- 21:53didn't even open refrigerator this morning. Did you look in it last night?
- 21:56I mean I opened it and got milk? If that was it?
- 22:00So you didn't see the thing? What thing? The thing I hid?
- 22:03No? Okay, I'm guessing it has something to do with the fork and
- 22:11plate that was in the bathroom that had chocolate on it. I didn't want
- 22:17to carry it all the way to the kitchen last night. When I was
- 22:18eating it, it was delicious. What did you get? What are you
- 22:22hiding from me now? Chocolate brownie cheesecake that I got at Whole Foods.
- 22:26I bought the whole cheesecake on my way home from pool. On your way
- 22:30home? Yeah, well, I had been thinking about cheesecake all day and
- 22:36I was craving it, and I just stopped to get a slice, and
- 22:37then I saw the whole cheesecake and I got the whole thing. And I
- 22:41see, I told you you got the whole I want cheesecake every time I
- 22:47play pools. Thing going on, it's so good. It's got a whole
- 22:51brownie crust. Anyway, it's not hit anymore. I told it. It's
- 22:53behind the carrots. I put carrots and vegetables in front of it so you
- 22:57wouldn't find it. You were a horrible I love you. The Alabama Show
